At first, we saw a couple of people working on their laptops and hesitated a bit before giving it a chance, but it turned out to be a great decision to have a few beers there. The staff were incredibly kind, the simple ambience made us feel comfortable, and we got to try many Romanian beers at a fair price. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try!

One of the nicest places for breakfast in the old town with specialty coffee and amazing views of Tampa mountain and telecabin, located on a charming street in the old town. Good sandwiches with great variety, I only wish the tomatoes were more qualitative since it's the season. But all in all, wonderful experience, totally recommended. Could not find a better place with both specialty coffee and breakfast in the old town.

Environment was cozy, prices logical, and music very relaxing (and not loud at all). Placed in the heart of Brasov, it is recommended 100%. They provided us with a bottle of tap water, which was very very much appreciated since unfortunately most shops don't.

A very pleasant café near the square. The best cold brew with lemonade I’ve had in Romania, croissant with tahini and honey was perfect, not too sweet. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was a fan inside, so despite the high temperatures outside, it was comfortable indoors. Also, the music played inside was to my taste and not too loud. I recommend stopping by.

Very cool location and guys - the location was recommended to me by the dude from the souvenir shop over the street where I got my luggage stored. And I wasn't disappointed, in fact the opposite was the case: The salmoned trout sandwich with avocado in combination with a nice blonde beer from the draft was extraordinary tasty. Thanks to this reference and the guys, it really helped me to overspan the 4 evening hours until my FlixBus departed.

What a cute place! The menu options are great, they have hot wine and some really good local beer options. The atmosphere and the music are very good. The staff is also attentive and friendly.

Six years ago we have stayed at Casa Rozelor, with breakfast at Bistro de l’Arte - a very nice experience (possibly I might have reviewed this). This time we were looking for a spot where to get a very tasty local beer (Czell). Since someone told us the Bistro had it, we went there at around three a clock. All the tables were reserved but the waiter was extremely kind and found one which was not taken for the moment, facing the very picturesque passage in front of the bistro. Once again our culinary experience has been fantastic. We had onion soup, chicken leg slowly cooked in the oven, snails and king oyster mushrooms. Incredible taste and prices! Next time we are decided to reserve for the food (not only for the beer)!

I’d seen quite a few reviews about this place, so we decided to give it a try. Based on the staff’s recommendations, we ordered a tomato soup, pappardelle with beef, and for dessert, crepes with raisins. The beef pasta was excellent — the mushroom sauce paired perfectly with the meat and the type of pasta. The soup (gratinated with gouda) was also really good; the combination worked beautifully. And the crepes were something truly special — highly recommend them!

Still there among the best, the bistro’s consistency in delivering an amazing experience is lovely to see! Thier food is amazing, service is great and carefull (thank you Cornel!) and the atmosphere relaxed and cozy.. Really don’t miss it out if you are in the city. Worth it!

Killer ginger beer! Haha the rest of the food and service were really great as well. I walked in for a late lunch and the patio was full with reservations but they happily sat me inside. I would recommend reservations for the outdoor seating or even inside during dinner. Highly recommend and would go again!

For me, there’s no better food in Brașov. Everything is freshly made with local ingredients, and I’ve never tried a dish I didn’t like. It’s best to make a reservation, as the place is popular. The staff is always polite and friendly, and the restaurant is very clean. I highly recommend it!

Eclectic, but good where it counts. When we got there, the music was pumping, and somehow we just managed to snag a table at the busiest time. Our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable and helped us find a great wine (local of course) and after a nice friendly chat, we got our burgers ordered: one Camembert and chili jam, and one cheeseburger. We grabbed the hummus to start as well. Hummus was delicious and came with olives. Nice and fresh! But when the burger arrived, I knew I’d landed on something special. Flavour-wise, the Camembert and chili jam burger was outstanding! Really deep flavours, perfectly cooked patty, and the jam really tied it together. My only gripe would be maybe the patty could be a bit bigger, or at least just distributed a bit better in the bun. Half way through the burger I ran out of meat! Maybe I don’t know how to eat a burger… honestly the flavour was so good I was happy anyway. My partner had the cheeseburger, which was a classic burger. Maybe a bit dry, she said. We also followed up with some fries that were nice big wedges and we both enjoyed them a lot! Wine was fantastic, and the recommendations were spot on. So the ambience was a wild mix. I think this was more of a bar than a restaurant, and when you realise that’s what it’s going for, it starts to make sense. Overall an interesting time, punctuated by good burgers and delicious wine. Also, please replace the locks on the bathroom stalls!

We've had an amazing wine tasting here! Robert was super knowledgeable about the different wines and explained everything about the grapes, different regions and traditional wine making proces in great detail! We also had the tasting platter with the best crostini I've ever had. For starters we shared the shrimp, home made hummus and fried camembert. The main dishes were cooked perfectly and the wine paring for these dishes was also great! We had an amazing night with a Robert as a very skilled sommelier!

Great atmosphere. Great wine bar. Can’t speak to the food but this was a great spot for some wine. We sat at the communal long table and had the best time. Even chatted with others at the table. Service may be a little slow, but they do get busy. There are a lot of options for wine bars but I’d hit this one first.

This was an excellent choice for great wine and food! We had the prawns and pork cheek. We shared a bottle of white and a bottle of red. Everything was perfect. The service was impeccable. Highly recommend. Each entree was around lei 50. The bottle of wine was around lei 100-130.

Amazing place! I have coeliac disease and felt completely safe eating here. The allergens were clearly labelled on the menu and staff were really helpful. However, the real highlight was the wine! Rob was a super knowledgeable and friendly sommelier, who gave use some excellent wine recommendations. If you want to try some incredible local wines, this place is an absolute must.

Always a good experience in terms of food. Friendly staff, glad to help. They don't have any wine menu so you either need to know what you want or describe what you are in the mood for (I, for one, don't prefer this approach, but nothing i can do). After choosing the wine, make sure you ask for the price. You don't want to see it directly on the bill. Outdoor and indoor sitting, with a nice vibe. I don't really recommend the upstairs sitting (not as fun as the terrace or bar one)

This place was so good that it's difficult to describe. We love wine but have never had wine from Romania before. We wanted to try several Romanian wines learn more about the different wine regions.

Great coffee shop with a Parisian vibe. Nice atmosphere, relaxing music, coffee is good. The decorations were a bit dusty, but the chairs and tables were clean, so that wasn't a major issue, just something I noticed. Definitely recommended if you appreciate nice ambience cafés.

Nice pub with a good atmosphere and good choice of drinks. Decor is pretty cool too. Not a big fan of one particular sarcastic waiter so can’t mark it higher (it’s not a crime to ask if there are any tables free upstairs when there are none downstairs), but after that all was good. Seems like a good place to relax with friends.

I really like the chill laid back atmosphere of the place. If I have to use 3 words to describe it, that would be - jazzy, cosy, classy. Coffee selection was really impressive and the vibe was perfect for chatting, reading or even working.

This is a fantastic coffee shop! The environment is fantastic for someone to read a book or having a date. I saw that they also worked as a pub, but was there during the day.

Great pub with a wide array of craft beers some of which are available on tap. Food options are limited but judging by the pizza I've had what they have is tasty. Nicely decorated it offers a good view of Tampa and the place has a nice vibe, music is not loud and the sitting area is comfortable. It's pricey but very decent considering the location. Service was okay, food came quickly. Definitely the place to go if you like beer 🍻🍻🍻

The Aftar Stube is located right next to the old town, about 200 meters from the main square. It has a large courtyard. Please walk through, as the seats at the front are often taken, but there are usually seats available at the back. The courtyard offers a fantastic view of the mountains surrounding Brasov and the Brasov emblem. Aftar offers hundreds of craft beers in cans and bottles, as well as a large selection of draft beers. The prices are consistently reasonable, with a half-liter of beer ranging from €3.20 to €5. The food selection is extensive. The Double Smashburger is a stunner at €7.90.

Arrived super keen to have a few beers and was impressed by the atmosphere and selection of beers. Unfortunately the service was frankly appalling. I was served twice in the span of an hour and in that time I couldn't help but feel like I was being ignored on purpose, as I watched multiple tables around me get served and receive their drinks and even meals in half the time it took to bring me a canned beer. Maybe because I wasn't local? I can't think of any other reason? It was disheartening, I really tried to be patient and respectful as I could recognise it was busy and I was more than aware that I wasn't the average local customer, but the reality is all I ordered was two beers, kindly. The second time I was served I had chosen the beer I wanted well in advance, as I had over 30 minutes to choose but because I had been waiting all that time, I obviously didn't still have the menu up. I had to pull my phone with the menu out again to double check the beer name and the server had the nerve to try to abruptly walk away as I was checking mid order, even after I apologised to him for making him wait no longer than 15 seconds to locate the name again. I got to the point where I didn't feel welcome and I just gave up. I left the money for the one beer I did get on the table and left. I can see there are similar reviews highlighting similar experiences from months ago, yet here I am making the same complaint. I'm wondering if you are actually taking accountability and following these complaints up?

Beer was good had a good range. But I got served 1 beer in the space of over an hour. Had to flag them down after sitting with an empty glass for 30 mins. He said he would be back to take my order and didn’t return for 10 mins. Then ordered and so did table next to me. He brought out beers for table next to me but not mine. So I just left cash at the table and left.

We really enjoyed our time here! We had lunch one day and came back the next, because we liked it so much. Staff is very friendly, the waitresses have a positive attitude and the man at the bar gave us a drink on the house because he heard I said I like my alcohol sweet. The music is nice and the food is absolutely amazing as well, we finished every single plate. I really recommend the pasta with zucchini and the place overall 🥰🦋🌸

This is the restaurant that my wife and i never want to skip when we are in Brasov. It's familly owned and familly ran so it's very cosy, the service is great and they are really ftiendly and offer great suggestions if you are undecided over the menu. And then the food....well it's great, tasty and they source local ingredients. It's usually busy and you need a reservation but it's worth it. And they offer you limoncello after you've finished your food

The place is a great area near and surrounded by trees green obviously during the summer. Menu is not too big, but I consider accurate and appropriate for a small or big time. Restaurant Inside offers you table for small and big groups. Also gives you the chance if it’s sunny to have a table outside. I can see a great location if you are looking for a small walk and to have some activities in the park in order to end with a pleasant time with food. Kids, friendly, Iqos friendly, haven’t seen a dog inside. Prices are fair, for instance, one pasta costs eight euros, but there are other dishes which are around 20 €. In general terms, I recommended.

Visited Sub Tampa in Brașov and enjoyed the duck confit. The sauce and plating stood out, though the meat could be more tender. Ambiance is cozy and well-styled. Staff were attentive and helpful. The butter chicken and rice dish didn’t impress, but the overall experience is solid.

I liked the duck breast a lot. The restaurant was crowded, The waiters were ok, but the service was very slow. The dessert was good, I liked the reinterpreted cozonac with ice cream.

Out of all restaurants we’ve tried on our week-long stay in Romania - this is indisputably the best one out there. The food was delicious, the atmosphere of the location is awesome and the prices are great. We also found great vegetarian options which we highly recommend.

Had to give this place 1 star because of the service. The food was amazing but the service made the experience terrible. We had to wait over 15 min after sitting down for someone to come and get the order. Food arrived in normal time and it was one of the best we had . At the end, we waited with empty plates for over 20 minutes without anyone coming to our table to see if we want anything else or dessert. In the end I had to go after the staff ( they were ALL staying in on corner chatting and laughing) to ask for the bill. It was the first time we didn’t leave a tip and was the first time I give such a low rating. Shame because it is such a wonderful location and food!

Cosy atmosphere and classic restaurant service! Started our dinner outside on the terrace and then we moved inside. 'Carne la graniță' would be a dish to try with a delicious taste.

I had trout with polenta and garlic sauce. The trout was frozen, the sauce wasn't authentic if was mixed with some mayonnaise. I didn't like the menu when I saw it. It has lots of "fancy & reinterpreted options" but they are not tasty because ingredients aren't high quality and because they reinterpret usual Romanian dishes and just ruin them. I would have preferred just a fresh trout fried in flour and usual Romanian "mujdei". I choose this plate because it seemed quite simple to make any complications to the ingredients and gave it ruined just by Tring to make a dish more fancy. Well I was wrong. Inside it is very nice looking and outside it is next to the forest so it is not hot. This is why I would rate it as 4 starts, regarding food... Not reccomended for Romanians, not recommended for foreigners, it is not authentic.

Fantastic service and great atmosphere! We love the potato skins and the crafted ales.They go perfectly together! Downstairs are always events with live performances. It is a grea place to meet up with mates! You can also enjoy sports on their TVs. The terrace is so nice as well.

O’Peter’s Irish Pub in Brașov is a great place for a night out. The highlight is definitely the live music – the band was fantastic and created an amazing atmosphere that really brought the place to life. The staff was friendly and the overall vibe is fun and welcoming. The only downside is that it gets very warm and a bit stuffy inside when the pub is full, which can make it less comfortable to stay for a long time. All in all, though, it’s a lively pub with excellent music and a good crowd – well worth a visit if you’re in Brașov.

Got a Guiness Pie - that includes the beer. It’s as it should be a pie and a beer. The waiter (Gabi) was professional, helpful and quick. All for a happy evening.

Really nice evening there. Staff was perfect: We ordered a burger to share and they cut it in half and gave each of us a plate with fries and half a burger. I really didn't expect this, it was such an awesome touch. We'll be back for sure!

Serving was great, the drinks perfect, the food could have been better, i tried the famous burger, in my opinion it was great but i think i just got too hyped up for it. What broke the stay, was that they didn't play any good music i was expecting from an irish pub, they brought a dj that played mainstream, comercial music, because of that we had to cancel the night earlier. Other than that, great.

Loved it here! I was expecting much from the food with it being an Irish pub quite a ways away from Ireland (I haven't had much luck). But this was incredibly good. The steak and Guinness pie was to die for and I think the fish and chips were the best I've had outside of the UK and Ireland. Staff was great. We even got a 10% (might have been 15%) discount plus shots for leaving our phone in a box for 40 minutes. We even got to keep the shot glasses! If you're ever in Brașov this is a must try!

Had the lentil loaf with a side salad and it was quite alright. Nothing special and a very small portion, but I was just so happy to find something in Brașov. The sauce on the salad was a bit weird and didn’t really fit, but the lentil loaf was good. The waiter was so friendly and funny and the restaurant is really nice in general. There was also a vegetable stew as another fully vegan option and of course 2-3 more vegetarian ones.

A very tasty restaurant with an emphasis on Transylvanian cuisine. The food was delicious and the proprietor attentive but not pushy. His suggestions were perfect. We had a variety of dishes and the were all superb.

Absolutely incredible food and service at Pilvax! We had the heritage tomato salad to start then the dumplings and chicken (with potatoes and spinach), finished off with the rhubarb cake and drunken pear. Everything was exceptional including the wine that was paired with the meal by our server. Service was seamless, friendly and knowledgeable. If we were staying in Brasov longer we would definitely be back!

Dining out in a decent looking place is mostly about the experience. It's not a restaurant on its classical term, rather a specialty bar with interesting - vegan friendly - meals and an affordable top notch wine selection. If you let the place in - a conversation helps, you will be amazed by its quality and truly impeccable service. We had an easy dinner with what I would describe as a spontaneous wine tasting. Just special. And ended up with an absolutely reasonable bill. With all that we left not only satisfied but with a rather superb experience and memory that does not often come after a night out anywhere. Lastly, quite a few tables only emptied about an hour after official closing time, which also tells... Without a doubt our best night out in a long Transylvanian road trop.

This was a surprise find on my most recent trip to Brasov. Maybe it's been there a while but it was new to me. We stopped to browse the menu and were pleasantly surprised to see 2 fully vegan options on the menu. The lentil & veggie loaf, and mushroom barley risotto. Both were delicious, seasoned perfectly and well priced. An added bonus was the Mustata beer, from a local brewery. It was tasty and rich. The service was friendly and the guy (owner?) was really friendly and his passion for his restaurant totally shined through during our brief conversation.

The waitstaff were friendly and professional. The food was really good - the celery slice on a bed of pumpkin puree was scrumptious. The traditional Transylvanian dishes we had were also delicious. It should definitely be on your list when in Brașov.

Pivax is the place that offers an experience. Once you cross the threshold you are more than a client, you are a friend, you are part of the family. This is a MUST visit spot in Brasov. You walk down a little ally by a creek and its located inside a big wall. It's open air but beautiful in winter and im sure during summer. The wine barrel booths are adorable and super comfy. They have blankets, fire towers and a ton of wine and food as well. My sister's and I enjoyed this spot the most in Brasov for a bar. Its a large area so plenty of seating and over 10 barrels.

The food was absolutely terrible! We took the bruschetta trio and the prosciutto was smelling….the past was also very low quality, from the sauce to the type of the pasta. The only thing we liked was the environment. What was also weird for us is that we had to bring our own food to the table and also to order at the bar. Overpriced for nothing…very low quality for the food!

Beautiful location, but other than that there are no positive aspects. Food is at most average tasting, for example pizza comes in a delivery cardboard box( also without cutlery), which you have to order and also get from the bar. You have to go to the bar to order and get your own drinks. There was almost no option for non alcoholic drinks, except for water. Only option to pay is by card, and the bartenders preselect a 10% tip, which seems inapropriate since the restaurant is self service. Business owner seems pretty cheap and the restaurant is overpriced for what they offer.

Super pretty garden with a bar and little pods to sit in with a limited menu. We had a couple of drinks and two amazing pizzas. Incredibly cheap. It was a quiet Monday night in October but I can just imagine how buzzy this would be in the warmer weather or at the weekend.

The Times Club in Brașov is a fantastic place to spend a night out. The bar is stylish and inviting, with a vibrant atmosphere that immediately puts you in the right mood. The music is always on point – a great mix that keeps the energy high without being overwhelming. What I especially appreciated was the staff: friendly, relaxed, and professional at the same time. They create an easygoing vibe, which makes you feel comfortable and welcome right away. Service at the bar is impressively fast, even when the place is busy – exactly how it should be in a good club. Overall, Times Club delivers the full package: good drinks, great music, and a team that knows how to make guests feel at home. Definitely one of the best spots in Brașov for an enjoyable night out.

The manager is shameless, not respecting his own rules, after paying the entrance he sent to me a bodyguard in order to tell me to get out to take same air and cool down, apparently I over enjoyed the DJ's mix and not paying attention to the bar bill. Inconvenient client shamelessly and brutally kicked out.

What an amazing venue ! For paying the entrance fee you can expect the following: - die of thirst at the bar, and watch the barkeep rinse glasses in front of you for 5 straight minutes, ignoring you, meanwhile all you want is to buy a lousy beer - be told by security that you "smell" (highly unlikely) and need to step out to air your shirt - watch a bunch of coked out, arrogant wannabe goons sit around and farm aura Yeah, do yourself a favour and stay home, play some Angry Birds or something

Good for some drinks, it's quite hot inside expecially with a lot of people. The drink are cheap. No credit card. You can reserve a table if you want. Security people outside and inside. The average of the customer are quite young. No dress code so very commercial.

This place is fine for a quick bite if you find yourself near the old town. I had the beef soup and the pizza pollo. Waiting time was short,but I went there around 3pm and it was not that crowded. Regarding the place,the only thing I find a bit bothering is that the tables are a bit too close one another,sometimes might be difficult to get up. As for the food, I would rate it of medium quality. The soup had 4 pieces of meat in it,but they tried to compensate by adding more potatoes. The pizza instead,I would not call it pizza,as it had nothing to do with it. From the dough to the ingredients,it had regular cheese (cascaval) and not mozzarella. It reminded me of a turta. Overall, decent food,but would not look for a different place next time.

Upon arrival, we were promptly seated, and our small dog was warmly welcomed without any hassle. The food exceeded our expectations, and the service was exceptional, thanks to our experienced waitress. The burgers were delicious, accompanied by French fries. Our coffee was not only flavorful but also beautifully presented. The unique table settings added to the inviting atmosphere of the restaurant. Overall, it was a delightful dining experience. Menu is reasonably priced. I will definitely be back.

Waited 20 minutes for no service, so we walked out. Shame, the menu looked appealing. We waved to someone for service but she said she wouldn’t and that someone would be over. Despite hundreds of people waiting on tables. We walked up to the bar but they said sit down. There were 8 people just waiting at the service hatch. 3 ‘seating’ & ’welcoming’ people, they just stood around chatting and didn’t actually show us to a table. Their phones were more important. These people should be walking onto a table and making you feel welcome and giving you menus. Then the service staff can facilitate quicker.

Even there are a lot of people staying in the queue in front of the reveption, we always found a table, in very short time. The waiters are nice! The software for menu it is fine. The menu on the paper has too small text for some age 😂.

The establishment has a delightful ambiance, offering an abundance of tables and ample space. While there is music playing, it is quite subdued, allowing for a significant amount of noise to be heard. Regrettably, the food's appearance is not particularly enticing, and its taste, unfortunately, reflects this. The portions are generous, but that is the only positive aspect. The pasta, in particular, was poorly cooked.

We were a group of three and had a fantastic dinner here! As starters, we shared the tuna tartare and burrata cheese—both incredibly fresh and full of flavor. For our mains, we had the spaghetti carbonara, tuna with pistachios, and tagliata di manzo. Each dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The quality of the ingredients really stood out, and the service was warm and attentive throughout the evening. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic and well-executed Italian cuisine!

We had cheese pasta and osso buco. They were good, but not memorable. As dessert we had tiramisu which was a bit too sweet. The pizzas were really good.

We were with a party of four. Somewhat rushed due to not having a reservation. Food was promptly delivered. We had Bucatini Amatriciana, Homemade tagliatelle with Artisanale Beef Ragu, Ossobuco and Cioppino. Everything was excellent. Do follow the advice of the waiter to get the foccacia next to the Ossobuco. Will certainly go again when in the neighbourhood.

Dinner was delightful. The atmosphere was cozy, and the chicken breast with lemon sauce and grilled veggies was flavourful and perfectly cooked, a must try! Valentina, our server, was polite and always happy to help, making the experience even better. Highly recommend!

Is a nice pub at the first floor on Republicii Street where you can have caffee, drinks, pizza and live music. The walls are covered with books and if you want you can take a book from the shelf and read.

The live music was great! Service is ok! I think it's more the language barrier that made the service a little awkward. They didn't have many of the food options when we were there so that was a bit of a downer. And the desert we had was sub par. I wish this place had more people cause the ambiance is great! And listening to good live jazz music is the best!

The place is really cool but unfortunately you have to wait a little bit for you order . Fortunately they have the walls full of book and you can read them during your waiting.

I was a regular here. Music and night staff was friendly. I brought 10 of my friends here for blues night Monday and had a great time. But today, the day time staff was poor. Particularly on 14-Sep-2016, the male staff person was rude and unfriendly, ignoring us the entire time. When I explained I was a regular and wanted to speak to the manager, he refused and continued to ignore me and my party the rest of the stay. One poor experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I will never return and recommend my friends do the same.

Great atmosphere and a lovely place overall. A bit expensive, but the food tastes good. The personnel is kind and the music is at pleasant levels. The only odd thing that I have found is that some of the waiters were dressed as normal people and at first I had no idea why an ordinary guy was asking me what I want. Good place for an evening with your loved one.

The crown of Brașov as it is known is a wonderful place that takes you back in time to an elegant, bohemian place with beautiful music and decor. Delicious food and cocktails, friendly waiters and decent prices.

Cool place. It has the '30s look and feel. Lots and lots of old documents and group photos are covering the walls. If you want privacy, ask for it! :)

Great coffee place in the centre of old town. It serves breakfast menu for 25 lei and many other choices. It is kids friendly and the staff is very friendly.you can pay either by card or cash. Free Wi-Fi available.

The food - 3 out of 5 - I had the goulash soup, it was very tasty, but the group at the table next to me ordered some food that looked straight out of the freezer and into the pan, and more they were complaining alot about the tasteless dishes they had. The location - 3 out of 5 - the space is wonderful but they managed to ruin a historical restaurant with some cheap looking printings that you can find everywhere from covering half of the walls in the dining area to the bathroom as you can see in the pictures... The Service - 4 out of 5 -they were kind and fast, very welcoming. Overall the feeling I had was that this wonderful location could be a lot more than what it is today... It's a pitty that they stuffed the place with so many cheap looking objects and printed the walls with images that are not even related with the restaurant... This place should be saved, restore it's original design ... You should visit the restaurant it's a great experience to see that space itself but don't throw yourself too much into the food menu...

Best breakfast! The place is nicely decorated and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I highly recommend the breakfast as it combines both sweet and savory (and it also includes orange juice and coffee) and the portion size is also generous.

It's a good place if you want to go out with your friends, they have larger tables so sitting down won't be a problem. The drink selection is good. They have some decent burgers, they are good but not extraordinary, the burgers are pretty big are not that expensive. Overall it's a nice place to hang out.

A great basement bar, with a very wide variety of drinks options, the cocktails are created by true masters. Great quirky decor & nice food, definitely worth a visit or two.

All you need from a pub. Great atmosphere, good food, big selection of drinks. Ideally located in the center of the city, friendly staff, plenty of room and several TVs to enjoy a game. The beverage selection is quite extensive and reasonably priced. And most of all, it has an unique touch, with all the hockey memorabilia which sets it apart from most other places.

The pub is nicely decorated within the hockey theme, there was very nice jazz playing in the background and a flat TV that showed some football. We ordered fish& chips(30ron) and chef's burger(28 ron), wich I strongly recommend! Pleasant and intimate atmosphrere, good service and awsome experience overall. You must definitley eat here at least once!

3 minutes away from the city’s main square and from the high street, The Hockey Pub is just a pub, but once you step inside you realise how enormous it is. The first thing you see is the bar that stretches long, with probably the greatest variety of beers and whiskeys in town. It has both a smoking & a non-smoking area. The pub is good for food, as you get nice meals for a fair price, but also for great live music nights at weekends. You can mainly hear blues, jazz, and pop bands. In general, it is a perfect place allowing you to have conversations with people without having to shout in their ears because of the loud music in the background. All you can hear in the background is good blues music and a constant chatter while you enjoy your drink, food, and good company. The drink menu is very rich; you can find all types of local beers, whiskeys, and Romanian wines. It boasts a pleasant atmosphere, with friendly people. There is also a big terrace in the courtyard, which has the perfect view of Mount Tampa and is the perfect scenario for spending a nice evening. Very cosy, ideal for smokers and also for those who want a bit of fresh air away from the crowded main street. If you wish to have a nice meal and chat endlessly over a drink, you must definitely choose The Hockey Pub.

Great burgers, friendly staff, good beer and a quiz night every Tuesday (from 19:00). It's a pretty spacious pub underground. Burgeri grozavi, personal prietenos, bere bună și seară de quiz în fiecare marți (de la 19:00). Este un pub la subsol destul de spațios.

Good music, good food and very friendly place in general. Lots of tourists usually in the pub. Be sure to check out the quiz held there on tuesday evenings, starting at 8 PM

Service was prompt, staff were attentive. Got our food fast despite there were many others. Beautiful interior. Food was good too. But a lot of their food is prepared from frozen meat (which they declare in their menu), including the pork ribs and shrimps that we had. I wonder why an establishment such as this needs to rely on frozen meats. Perhaps it's a norm here but don't see such declarations in other restaurants.

The Manager and the waiters were very good. Swift, informed and suited impeccably. The hostess was polite and charming. She did great work for finding the right table for us. The food was delicious, enough and served exquisitely. The atmosphere and the interior were unique. The violin player contributed very much for the exciting experience. The best ever restaurant in Brasov.

Unfortunately, our experience at Brasserie Luther in Brașov was disappointing. The guacamole was not fresh, and the pork knuckle I ordered was burnt and served with a very small portion of cabbage. I asked for a replacement, and thankfully the second one was better. To make up for the situation, the staff kindly offered us complimentary rice pudding, which was a nice gesture. While I appreciated the effort to correct the mistakes, the overall quality of the food left a lot to be desired.

Very nice and helpfull staff. We feel pampered everytime we come here. The food was very savoury and the presentation is always on point. Tis a must visit if you're in Brasov, the decor is awesome and the atmosphere is always marvellous.

The food was quite a bit better than what we expected. We went to the restaurant as our walking tour guide recommended us to try the German noodles, which we found out later it was the spaetzle. The Spaetzle was good and other dishes were all good too. The food came fast, the service was ok and ambience was nice. Definitely good to try for us🥰

One of the best places I ate at in Brasov. For so long I avoided it,being so close to the old town, thinking it might be a tourist trap. But it surprised me pleasantly. Had one of the best schnitzels and also the austrian pancakes, Kaiserschmarrn, which did not make the photo. The schnitzel was really big, enough for 2 people and prices are really good for what they offer. Totally recommend it

We are big fans of Germany, we travelled a lot there and so we really enjoyed this place. The food was good (so was the beer) and the staff were nice. A huge plus for us was the German radio that was playing in the background, we really enjoyed it.

A true german inspired place, with great food (awesome selection of german inspired bites) along with an amazing beer option, makes it a worthwhile stop. If there, grab an Underberg and a helles! Service is fun and attenative, really going the extra mile to help you out!

The most amazing menu, traditional Romanian food and a whole world of Italian dishes. I’ve had their spaghetti bolognaise and spaghetti matriciana and they were the most beautiful meals. Their class of service is phenomenal and the environment is relaxed and joyful.

Maybe we went during a busy time but service was so bad. It was a long wait for the food and they didn’t even give us any utensils. I had to go to the counter and ask for some utensils. Same thing when we were trying to pay. Nobody was paying attention to us that i had to go to the counter. Food was so-so. Okay.

This was a fabulous experience for all of us. They could cater to 14 people, and were really friendly when we arrived. The food was lovely and hot, and there was a great selection of food. The atmosphere was great, and we felt very at ease. They also were very good catering to a gluten allergy, and ensured everything was right beforehand. We came here twice during our stay, and would come back in the future.

We went to try the food on a chilly night(last night) , a family of 4 , unfortunately we have not been told from beginning that the heating system is not functioning. They told us after we order our food and drink. They did provide us a blanket for the kids but is not the same. Good pizza , unfortunately we order a salad called something with A , without any taste. That was my partner mistake not to give it back. Overall nothing to be impressed so we will not coming back.

If you want to serve a cup of medicinal tea and relax in a pleasant atmosphere this is the right place. Their menu is really cool. The design is impressive and the personnel is friendly. The bathroom was not quite clean but for the rest, no complaints. The prices are not high.

Go here!! Extremely friendly bartender, great service, awesome cocktails. Best we've had so far in the entirety of Romania. Cocktails are all under 20 lei so not expensive at all. Terrace with refreshing sprinkler system kept us cool, very innovative.

I loved this bar. The theme of having drinks served in beakers and flasks just made it stand out from the other places. There was a good selection of drinks and cocktails and all at a bargain price (relatively speaking). Many locals were enjoying it too but it wasn't overcrowded. Definitely a place to try if you are in the area.

Really awesome place! It have a very original decoration, like a real pharmacy. And the menu is also inspired as medications. They have a very large list of fresh juices, cocktails, caffees, ... and all is delicious. The service is so nice and it is very close of the town center.

We stopped for coffee here while on a tour, and we discovered that this place has a lot of fun drinks at decent prices. A lot of locals come here, and the atmosphere is unique (they have a vintage 19th century pharmacy theme). Would love to come back and try some of their other drinks!

Food took around an hour to arrive and the place was not full at all. It was also quite expensive considering the price per quality. My spicy meal was not spicy at all but it was decent nonetheless. The mojito was bad compared to other places but the candy apple was great. They did mess up orders by giving me flat water instead of sprakling but I see this mistake happen often. The interior and music was welcoming though so props to that, I really liked the wall bookcase :) Lots of pros and cons so I suppose it is luck based. That is why I am giving Viva la Vida a 3 star rating. There is room for improvement.

I was so disappointed with the bad cocktails. I wonder what is the description of a cocktail for Biblioteque Pub. One was only some Redbull and some alcoholic drinks and lots of ices; while the other one was only mix of alcoholic beverages and ice. Apart from that, when I asked the bartender’s suggestion for cocktails; she gave me one suggestion saying “It’s a cocktail for girls”. Do I have to say more? Therefore, I should give credit to the ambiance which is really nice. So you can come here for the atmosphere. Make sure you make your reservation before you come.

Comfy, cool place. The vegan side dishes are quite good if not great. Very friendly. Nice for lunch or to sit for a drink.

It is a cosy place. There is a lot of party music. It is not too cheap, but neither too expensive in the middle of Brasov city, in the heart of the city actually. Beer was good, the bartender girl was not too quick, but neither too slow. I recommend this bar full of old books inside and outside. I am wondering if the bartender does ever put her hands on some of the books exposed.

Great location, few steps from Piata Sfatului easy to get there just walking if u r staying in old town area. The decoration is wonderful, extremely creative, warming, charming... just beautiful. My score is based more on the service and food, bar server was not really friendly, did not speak much English but at least she could be nice and smile. We asked for coffee, a local beer and a caipirinha. This last one was nothing like it... I would give it a second try just because the place is so inviting, but if I do, I hope to get better service.

The location of this bar is great. I had two of the bar’s signature cocktails and I can’t say they’re anything to write home about but they were good nonetheless. Servers were attentive and very nice to us.

I come here every time I visit Brasov and I always get good quality food and service. During my last visit I felt a bit that the aspect of the dish I ordered was changed. The platter was messy and done in rush even if the place was not crowded at all. It was a bit of disappointment as I brought here a friend to whom I’ve told that this is the best brunch place in the city. I leave a picture for you to see it yourself. I hope you can fix this soon. Other than this, you can find many items in the menu, hot chocolate is delicious and staff very welcoming.

Amazing cocktails with good food, normal portion sizes

One of the hidden gems of this beautiful medieval town Brașov,located in the center of the town in the small beautiful Enescu plaza. Suggested by another great hidden gem of this town pastry / cake shop "Dulciurile Cristinei" ,it was a hit! The food is amazing! We tried the burgers meat and vegie, they are artizanal burgers. All the food is in-house, made from scratch... I guarantee you, it will be hard to find another burger that good in the whole town. The Carbonara and Pesto pastas, you will have to drive to Italy to get something at this level. The desert at Opus is provided from the cake shop "Dulciurile Cristinei",eclers to make you crave for more, no other cake shop in town has the secret recipe to make them as delicios as this ones. Pilsner draft is fresh and perfect. We went back twice while we stayed in this beautiful town!

Right next to the city center but in a cozy, out of the turmoil of the masses of tourists, quiet little plaza, is positioned the restaurant Opus9. This place has a very positive and chill vibe, with large windows and cozy atmosphere. We had breakfast here and i must say that we had a really good experience and everybody had a good time. I had the Croque Madame and a nice Flat White and an Earl Grey tea with some milk and everything was very good.

The coziest cocktail bar I’ve never been! It has a welcoming atmosphere, smiling staff, a very creative drink menu (including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks). It was very nice of them to have a winter cocktail menu. I tried Winter Spice Tea (a hot cocktail fresh ginger-mint/brandy spiced rum/fresh lemon-orange juice/honey). I preferred grapefruit juice instead of orange juice since I really love sour flavours. It tasted delicious! And I think it is a perfect cold killer drink for winter! The other cocktail tasted also delicious but I forgot the name. Definitely visit there if you ever go to Brasov🇷🇴

SO GOOD THAT WE WENT BACK FOR THE 3RD TIME The first time we had 4 hot drinks (vaguely remember the names... along the lines of Almond Cream, Gin Hot Toddy, Apple Toddy, and Spice Tea - the first item on the menu) and they were ALL SO GOOD. Highly recommend! Second time back we had 4 cold drinks. Espresso martini, Unoridinary Fizz, Come Home and Peach Julep. ALL SO GOOD. I can't recommend this place enough. Third time we had the Foreign Language and the Blueberry Highlife. If you've read my review to this point you should JUST GO TO THE BAR. RIGHT NOW

The best place for cocktails hands down in Brasov. On a gorgeous side street just out of the main area. Extensive cocktail choices, wonderful prices, the best tasting cocktails I’ve ever had and wonderfully friendly staff. If you’re looking for a delicious cocktail (or two!) in Brasov, this is not to be missed!

There couldn't be a better name for this restaurant. Options for vegans and vegetarians! Spent nearly an entire day here working, enjoying a delicious pea soup, chai lattes (yes, plural), hummus, and the friendly company of the staff. Every dish was truly excellent and it is clear a lot of love and thought has been placed on every element of your experience. Also had a lovely chat with the owner and learned they hold community gatherings. Wish I could have stayed longer in Brasov just to hangout with the lovely people here!

Delicious breakfast from 35-42 lei, served quickly. I had fried egg on avocado toast, served with salad and prosciutto. They do lovely smoothies under the Energy section of the drinks menu.

Service was slow and impersonal. They ran out of all pasta except penne and given that it tasted like supermarket pasta it didn't really need to be the case. I had the cheesy pasta dish and it was just awful. Bland, boring and very long periods of waiting for service and food. Very disappointing. The only caveat was that there was just one waitress serving the whole restaurant.

The place is intimate, calm and nicely decorated. Being at the first floor it reveals a very beautiful view on the Tampa mountain and down on Republici street. The pinza dish is very tasty and comes quicker than expected. The prices are ok for the center of the city. I definitely recommend it if you want to have lunch,dinner or simply a drink.

They don’t have a variety of options, but whatever you choose is really good. We loved the Mediterranean salad. Fair prices for the portions they offer. The only thing was that the heater was barely giving any heat and it was freezing outside, but that’s in January…

First things first: expensive, unfriendly staff, other guests ordered Pinsa, but when we asked for it the waitress said they didn't have Pinsa and you could only order salad. Aperol have tasted a bit watery. Too bad!

Pinseria Publick is just one of those places that hits the spot when you're looking for something safe and tasty. The food wasn't exactly as advertised in the pictures, but it was fine nonetheless, as you may be able to tell from the photo. Moreso, their cheese is great quality, and, judging by the menu's ingredient list, they also make traditional carbonara pasta! The staff was also really nice, making us feel welcome in their establishment. Overall, good place to go when in need of a quick bite to eat.

Food was okish but was expecting more. We got an extra plate of pasta cause I guess the waiter messed up the plates ordered (though we were the only ones in the restaurant). The smashed potatos with truffles was missing the truffles part - I mentioned this and I got an extra side dish with some flavour of truffle this time (though you could barely taste the truffles). Overall the food was good and the plates looked nice.

I don’t think they need another 5 star review but i will post it anyway. Great staff, very attentive, we came here twice, first time Monday evening when we ordered the beef pasta, the burger and panko fried calamari and the second time we came Wednesday at lunch and again ordered the beef pasta and the pork duo. For drinks we ordered Hugo cocktail and Ursus black( best Hugo i ever had). As for the prices they are great for the quality of the food, the beef pasta was amazing and the pork duo’s truffle smashed potatoes had so much flavour, the pork was flavourful and perfectly cooked and also the risotto was great, creamy, flavourful. So, 10/10 for everything, for sure will come back here every time i travel to Brasov.

My experience was a 2 day disaster. The first encounter I won't bother to mention as I believe it was just a misunderstanding because of the language barrier over the phone... I decided to go and give them a chance and support them. The location and really nice with great outdoor seating and beautiful views. The server who help me was wonderful, helpful and friendly. I went there to get food to take away. I waited a long while for my food which I didn't mind. I ordered the Tagliatelle and the Vegetarian starter. The Tagliatelle was horrible. All of the seafood was overcooked and inedible and it tasted like the sauce was ketchup. I tried it. I gave up. The vegetarian starter was OK. The takeout containers don't hold up. They were leaking and messy and they do not have takeaway utensils. My server was so kind that she offered me real utensils. I tried to say no but I didn't have the heart so now I still have to go back there and return the utensils. The stars given are for the service and the beautiful location. (These are "before" pics of the food. I hadn't touched it yet). UPDATE: A 5 minute walk would not change the flavor profile or overcook the food but I agree 100%, you should not offer takeaway if that is not the experience that you can deliver well. You should have your profile updated to indicate that you do not offer carryout. Also sorry for running out after I returned the silverware. I was double parked!!

This location use to be a party pub / club, so discovering it today as restaurant was a very pleasant surprise! They have a young (29 yo) but really talented chef and the food is tasteful and rich in flavour. The waiters are discreet, yet truly hospitable and careful. Pleasant atmosphere, good music, great location.

Good service! The salad I ordered was delicious and it's a size of a forest! Thank goodness the waiter advised me not to order the appetizer. Service was 5 stars, but food was 2 stars. My waiter was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, my food did not taste good at all. I ordered the trout and it was very fishy which tells me it was not fresh. The view is nice, but I would not eat here again. Maybe go for a drink or two to hang out, but eat elsewhere.

Excelent deserts and shimmering coffee to match the taste.Unfortunately, the pictures and video doesn’t truly captivate the atmosphere of this place. I regret not trying the food as well…but it’s always a next time! However the crème brûlée was exceptional and I was surprised that it was made with vanilla pod and not only vanilla flavour.

First of all this is a wine bar not a food joint, they have incredible vast amounts of wine😅...of good wine, depending on the type of wine the glass can get from 8€ to 15€, the food is good, the desert was better 😅. The staff is incredibly nice and good, they also have a sommelier that can help you with the choosing of the wine. Overall the place is nice!

Great place to enjoy great wines and lounge around. Alexandru was an amazing waiter , very knowledgeable about wines.

Our experience here was very good. The chicken was moist and well cooked. The accompanying vegetables were well prepared but insuficient in my opinion. As was the quantity of sauce. The duck risotto was very good. The lemonades were prepared with good ingredients but the mint one was overly sweet. There was also a small birthday party with children where the children were making noises and that bothered me a bit. Due to those complaints I deducted a star, but this is definitely a place we will visit again in order to try the other items on the menu. The staff were very polite, well dressed, accommodating and fast on the service.

Highly recommend, the place raises to its name and, even in pandemic times, offers on-site service along with delivery. The food is good and the service quick enough, while the overall experience is great; the only bias is the menu, offering meat and raw dishes, but nothing in between (like, nothing vegan, only raw)...

Ma Cocotte is definitely my favorite restaurant in Brasov. The atmosphere is great, there is plenty of very good wine and the staff is friendly. The food is also good and prices are decent. I recommend this place for a romantic date, an anniversary or even a business meeting.

Great location with incredible staff, I stopped by for a quick coffee and I ended up spending a good hour in the location trying different products and chatting with the staff, even the blonde manager stopped by at some point to check up on me, great atmosphere, feels like they are all enjoying what they are doing.

We had a very good illy coffee here and it was a very pleasant experience. We sat on their deck surrounded by greenery. Everything was spic and span clean including the deck which had just been washed. Big tables and comfortable chairs.

Capuccino is 19 lei... I have never encountered such ridiculous price anywhere in the world. When paying with 20 lei cash, the girl serving told me she doesn't have change. Nonetheless she gave my daughter a glass of water. No tip. Absolutely ridiculous price for a coffee in a location that used to be a public toilet. I am in Malta now and at a high-end Bistro the cappuccino is €2.30, almost half the price.

If you are in Brașov ( Romania) and need a public toilet here is one. Down stairs you pay 2 Ron to enter. Nice and clean.

Went here with some friends (locals). The place is very strange and yet very interesting. Key note: they offer tons of peanuts for free with any order, and the shells are thrown on the floor. This means there's tons of shells on the floor, which in turn gives the whole place a salty peanut smell. The other intriguing thing: on the walls and ceilings there are business cards, notes, bills (old and new, from lots of different countries and times), receipts etc.

The custom of the pub is you get peanuts on the house and can trow the shells on the ground! Nice music as well.

I love this place. It has such an intimate atmosphere. Great decorations (to which you can contribute). And the best part, free peanuts! Also, once you gather a hwfty ammount of shells, simply throw them all in the floor and enjoy the crunchy steps.

When you get there first time it's very impresive. On the table stands baskets with free salty peanuts. You can smoke outside. Wood on the walls where are attached peaces of papers, business cards or bills with signatures of guests which been here in the past. Very nice place to meet with friends.

Being right in front of our hotel, we came for our breakfast and coffee and had a brilliant experience and service so we returned for the best dinner with the exact taste as in UK. The place is really clean and the waiters give it a good vibe. Congratulations guys for everything you do there!

Great food but quite expensive. The personal is very polite and helpful, if you stay on the terrace it will be very noisy do to the fact that is practically on the street. For sure I will come back for breakfast and coffee, seems to have delicious choices.

Took more than 30 minutes for the food to arrive after ordering, despite there was almost nobody there. The food was great however. The portion size is large. For what you get, prices are okay.

Great place to go for a beer and a pizza or burger (the rest of the food I haven't tried yet). The staff is very friendly and nice. There are also multiple darts board which can be used for free.

The place is 10min of walk away from the city center. It has a big terase and a lot o space inside. The drinks variety is at high levels and the also serve food which is very delicious. Starting with pizza, hamburgers to Romanian traditional cuisine. The pub also offers the possibility to play card games and a lot of social games, but the most important is the darts game. The have fitted 3 big boards on which you can play. You might have the opportunity to play with Romanian national champions at darts. BTW, the owner is also a champ. Great times. Rated with 5.

De Bodega Wine Bar in Brașov is an absolute must-visit when exploring this city. The team at De Bodega Wine Bar truly knows their stuff, and whether you prefer rosé, white, or red wine, they know exactly how to hit the right note. In addition to the many sights the city has to offer, I highly recommend every wine lover to stop by and taste one of their many wines. The staff is also extremely friendly and helpful.

Turns out their menu isn’t accurate. They brought us out the venison and it didn’t have truffle cream. Instead they added radishes and Parmesan.

Decent selection of wines (romanian wines only) but only one type of wine by glass🤡 I had a cheese platter. Not great quality of cheese, no adequate cutlery and strange cheese-vegetables pairings ( romanian french platouas)

Very nice place filled with very nice people. The vibe is just right and fully in sync with what you would expect from such a location. The sound engineer could do better, I have attempted a live gig and volume was simply too loud while instruments' separation was rather poor. My 2 cents. Btw you can only pay by card.

Rockstadt feels like home every time I walk in. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed - it’s one of those rare places where everybody knows everybody. The staff is friendly and attentive without being intrusive, and the vibe is always lively but never overwhelming. The music is great, and their terrace is perfect for hanging out. They host fantastic concerts during fall, winter, and spring, making it a go-to spot all year round. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a genuine, friendly pub experience!

I was amazed by this temple of the heavy vibes when I went through the gate. Worry not young paź, probably no1 would ask you to name 5 sLayer songs, and if you fail you’d get listwa or portfel.

Pretty good prices, very friendly staff... Multiple waitstaff made sure we had been helped. My only complaint was that they were playing kinda raunchy "cheating" movies inside (movies where a spouse is cheating on the other spouse). But we were outside so I only caught bits and clips of that. Good Romanian cognac, by the way. They even served it with a few coffee beans. Would come back for a digestivo again.

We used to go there before the pandemic , but just for drinks, smoke and amosphere. Recently we ordered in because we had 4guests and everybody couln't eat their food, the meat was bad, the dishes cooked incorectly. It's like the waiters cooked our food. Worst food experience as a group. It's rarely one of us doesn't like their food, we're not picky, but this was awful.

Quite a nice place, great location, relatively good prices. It can get incredibly crowded during evenings. The staff is ok, but not the politest I've come across. Nachos were simply horrible. Didn't like the fact that my friend's drink didn't come with some ice in/alongside it. Food is a bit pricey. The location of the toilet is at best debatable.

Nice place, good food, good service. We had some mushroom cream soup, a burger (one of several types) and Jamaican chicken - all excellent, right down to the still-pink-in-the-middle burger. Our waiter (Dănuț) was great, we got very good service. We only drank lemonade, but it was full of fruit pieces and tasty.

This place is a hidden gem tucked away from the city, with staff who are incredibly kind and generous.

My gf and I were recommended this place by a friend, and now we'll recommend it too, it was a great dining experience. Cool and friendly staff, not a big selection of food but it has everything you could want with your beer and it's very well made and tasty, and of course excellent beer. The place has a great atmosphere with very nice music taste. Also the bathroom was very clean and perfectly functional, it's a big criteria for me. Can't wait to come again on our next visit!

On our way back to our Airbnb, we happened upon Berăria Mustață and it did not disappoint. The homemade beer and delicious food made us feel right at home, so much so we returned on our final night to end our time in Braşov. We were lucky enough to meet the owner and hear about their story even connecting back to our home state of Boston. I could not recommend this place enough for all the reasons you want to visit a brewery. I hope to come again or even hope the beer makes its way over to MA. Recommended to us by a local. You know if locals eat here, it's going to be good. Really cool Hungarian place, beer is awesome, you go down steps to this really cute underground bar/restaurant. Lovely vibe, comfortable, friendly staff and most importantly the food is to die for. Definitely recommend. Just outside the city walls (not far at all to walk but if you don't like walking you can get the 50 bus from the centre - it stops right near the entrance - especially useful if you don't feel like staggering back home, if you're staying right in the middle of the town!).

A chill, cool place with great service by the owner. The menu looks fab! The beer selection is rich. Nice open terrace and cousy lovely indoor restaurant. A surprising new entry to the city, a lovely alternative to wonderful Brasov!

The goulash soup and the lemonade with honey and ginger were absolutely Devine ❤️ my partner had the beef stew and said the beef melted in your mouth. Our waiter Adi was also very lovely, he told us about the traditional Romanian dishes and how they are made. Highly recommended place. The views are stunning, with the gorgeous mountains in the background surrounded but gorgeous old Romanian buildings.

Great new restaurant in the old part of town. Csiki is one of the most recommended "local" beers, being produced not that far away from Brasov. They have a wide selection of types of beers, from Csiki IPA to Csiki Brown. The food was very good and excellent service. For sure will return.

We really enjoyed this place. They have a basement seating indoor area. And a typical outdoor area under tents. It was raining heavily and we were there so we went to the basement. First I thought, it would be down there but it was really cool and cozy. Felt like something out of the Middle ages or something. Anyway to the food, the food was great. I had a goulash stew which was great. My young children had a vegetable soup because they were out of chicken, that was also great. And then we had a bean tapenade kind of thing which was also good. Also there was this cheese plate thing which was also very good. I'm sorry but I don't remember the Hungarian or Romanian names. I would highly recommend this place.

Awesome place, it was needed near this commercial center. Good cocktails, pricier than usual, but totally worth it. They were able to accommodate my request to get a sipping whiskey, and they also paired it with some dried fruits and dark chocolate.

It was an amazing experience. We were so happy to find this place, and Cristi made sure that the evening was perfect. We really enjoyed the cocktails, and we've been through most of them. Each of them was great! It's a gem worth visiting. We're definitely coming back if we're back in town.

Great sports bar, owner and staff are very accomodating. They have access to every channel world wide. Clean and great tv and sound quality.

The places from Lviv and Ukraine in general are much better. This one is almost 2 times more expensive, the taste is not the same and they have bad electronic, club-like music that is not in tune with the concept. It is just not the same quality.

New place in Braşov! The Ukrainean name means "the drunk cherry". 😊 I found it excellent: tasty, ruby and fruity sweet. It goes well while taking a stroll downtown. Definetly enjoyable!

I enjoyed food and beer because hamburgers were really good and you have a lot of beer to choose from. i have only one thing what i would like to mentioned. the staff should be more professional. Yes they are polite but sometimes they ignore you. You are out of food and out of drink and they behave like you don't exist. But i recommend this pub if you like good beer and food

Awesome craft beer selection. A great spot to consider if your goal is to sample the different craft beer offerings in Romania. I only wished that they had more draught offerings but the can selection is huge. As of my visit, the staff shared that on Wednesdays they run a 30% discount off everything. Great opportunity to drink up and take out some awesome Romanian craft beers!

Here for the beer as we were bar hopping through the area. Staff recommended some local beer options, the blonde was excellent. The place was quiet and empty but I imagine a larger crowd would have been very noisy. I didn’t mind! The young bartender’s English was excellent and was super patient and welcoming.

Nice place and staff, with chill vibes and good beer, but with quite a few issues: - it's called taproom but they have only three beers on tap, and quite often they run out of at least two of them - the same happens with bottles or cans, they finish the stock quickly and the fridges are often half empty - on top of that the prices are way too high for some of the beers. 32 lei for a beer that has an aquisition price of 12-13 lei is way too much. So, expensive beer that finishes quickly probably because of poor stock management, not a nice combination - very few options for people who don't drink beer - the toilets are screaming for renovation Despite these issues, I do appreciate the atmosphere and the dj events, the staff is helpful and nice (though sometimes they can be overwhelmed) and the 30% discount Wednesday makes it more accessible at least once a week.

My favourite place for having a good beer and a pizza with my friends. They serve a great variety of Romanian craft beer, the staff is always smiling and helping and the people hanging in are nice people. The location is very central in the old city but somehow not very crowded and with a lot of trees and shadow in the summer.

Was going to the bar next door that is also excellent when I decided to check out this place. Great beer selection and many great Romanian craft beers in tap. The pizza is also excellent and I would say the best Naples style I’ve had in Romania so far and I have tried my fill. Definitely recommend
