Tea house
The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse is a stunning landmark in Boulder, Colorado, known for its intricate Persian design and cultural significance. It was gifted to the city by the mayor of Dushanbe, Tajikistan and constructed by 40 Tajik artisans. The teahouse features ornate elements such as a fountain with bronze statues based on a 12th-century poem.
The Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse is breathtakingly beautiful! The food was great as was the service. I enjoyed the Spicy Indonesian Peanut Noodles. It was very busy despite going on a weekday for lunch, so recommend getting a reservation beforehand. There was a ton of seating both outside and inside. This place is definitely worth a stop if in the Boulder area!

What a wonderful experience! Easily the best and most enjoyable place we dined at in Boulder. The teahouse is gorgeous inside with its carved columns and mosaics. Food variety and quality was beyond what I was expecting for the reasonable prices. Staff were very friendly and responsive. My beef shank fell off the bone in the most devious way and my friend thoroughly enjoyed her Indian style dish. I wish we were in town long enough to have come back and tried their high tea.

A jewel of a teahouse in boulder! Extensive selection of tea. Waiters were very helpful and knowledgeable. The building is very stunning and is made of variety of pieces brought from Tajikistan. Food was very fresh and delicious as well. The only thingni would have asked if the waiters checked on the table a bit more frequently. Great experience here.

We enjoyed a rainy day supper here. The place is beautiful, the food was excellent, the prices were good and the server was sweet however Kris let the kitchen make the rookie mistake of plating our appetizers and main course just a couple of minutes apart. There was no response to the question: Which hot dish would you like me to consume cold? Establishments that allow this cardinal sin normally never get above a 3 star rating however the food was just so good. Suggest when ordering appetizers that you wait until they are on the table before placing your main course order. Edit: Ooops, forgot to mention the excellent Earl Gray and Monkey Picked Teas.

New fav Boulder restaurant Great food, surprisingly reasonable prices. Incredible atmosphere. Autumn mist tea was nice. Scone was a nice dessert. Svamptoast was amazing but slightly undertoasted. Staff all very friendly despite being very busy. Entrance can get crowded, and you'll want a reservation. You can sit outside but I didn't see any heating elements

I have always loved this restaurant. The menu is so inventive, and it’s lovely for breakfast and for dinner. Stop off at the farmers market on Wednesday nights and then come in for dinner. The tea selection is astounding, and there are dishes from all over the world. This was a West African stew that was unbelievable. And the romantic garden tea…. As beautiful as it is soothing.

Went to girls trip to Boulder and this tea house is the perfect spot for dinner and we absolutely loved it. It’s on Michelin guide and the place has so much history. The walls/colors and ambience is phenomenal. The teas are definitely worth trying and food won’t disappoint you either. Will be visiting again

The restaurant was packed at 11:50am on a Friday for lunch but we sat at the bar for 40 min before we were seated. We had the beef salad, lettuce wrap and the peanut noodles. I’d recommend the first two and less excited about the peanut noodle salad. But generally very tasty!😋

Flagstaff House is a top-notch dining spot located atop Flagstaff Mountain, offering refined American cuisine and breathtaking views of Boulder. The restaurant provides an elegant ambiance with its window-encased setting, making it a perfect choice for special occasions or romantic dates.
My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Flagstaff House Restaurant in Boulder, Colorado, and we were absolutely delighted. The restaurant is beautiful, luxurious, with an elegant interior and stunning views from the windows. Everything inside is neat, cozy, and atmospheric. The food was amazing: served in small portions, as is typical for high-end restaurants, and every dish was very flavorful. We were also pleasantly surprised with complimentary desserts, which made our celebration even more special. The staff were exceptionally attentive. We had booked our table in advance and specified that our food needed to be halal and alcohol-free. All our requests were carefully accommodated: dishes were prepared without alcohol, and we mainly enjoyed fish and other suitable options. There is also a free parking space right next to the restaurant, which makes visiting even more convenient. It was an unforgettable day — we loved everything. The atmosphere, the food, and the service were simply perfect. I highly recommend Flagstaff House for special occasions and celebrations.

We decided to have a destination wedding in Boulder, CO and spent a while looking into different restaurants in the area to host a wedding reception dinner. We wanted a private room for 10 people and amazing food. Annie, the event coordinator, answered all of my questions before we signed the contract to hold the event there. And we are soooo happy with our decision to go to Flagstaff House. Everyone from Annie to the staff and waiters were amazing and made the entire experience easy and unforgettable. They were very knowledgeable about the menu and even gave us a little history about the restaurant when we asked about it. The food, views, staff, and atmosphere were all amazing! I took pictures of our first course, but forgot to take pictures of the rest of our meal and drinks because everything was so good I just started eating immediately after they brought it out! lol All of our guests absolutely loved the food, drinks, and spectacular views! I was originally a little worried because some reviews said the portions were very small. But I disagree. Between the size of the portions, the amount of courses, and all the little appetizers between courses, we were all beyond full by the end of dinner. It is expensive, but it’s a great place for a special occasion. Can’t say enough good things about this place. We plan on returning for our one year anniversary. Highly recommend!

This was my second time at the Flagstaff House and it was, again, a wonderful culinary and family experience. If you are in a rush, go elsewhere. For me, it was best to remember that I am there to enjoy, relax, and participate. The waitstaff is intuitive, accommodating, friendly, and attentive. Our waitress was very polite, helpful, and soft-spoken. The valet was super friendly and accommodating as well, as I had my dog with me, and they found a comfortable shaded area for him - don’t worry, it was not a warm day, the windows were left down, and he came out with Wagyu! We also jumped across the street to the lookout for some “relieving.” It was clear that the two guys had checked on him a few times during the dinner encounter. Plain and simple - it would be hard for you to not enjoy yourself. A plus is seeing what designer, purse, and shoe the ladies are wearing!

I had a lot of thoughts about this place. Overall the food was very good. I enjoy fine dining however, I personally don’t prefer the tasting menu style of restaurant where you get 10 different bite sized dishes. The flavor was good in everything and each item was a work of art. The best thing I had on the menu though was the butter that came with the bread and the Orions Belt cocktail. The staff and restaurant put a lot of effort into everything from the service to the food which I appreciate but I wouldn’t have classified it as an “experience” which is what I expect from places like this. It was a really nice meal at a fancy restaurant. The cocktails were really good and the bottle of wine (No Name Barolo) we had was fabulous. The service felt a bit over the top at times. For instance when I got up to go the bathroom, staff members would say “pardon me” as I walked by when they weren’t in my way. It felt like they were told to say that in an attempt to make the restaurant more bougie. Whereas I felt that the service was quite slow at times. The atmosphere was great, the architecture of the building and the views are incredible. Overall I had a very nice time and would recommend it if you are looking for a high end dinner or drinks when in Boulder.

We came to Flagstaff House to celebrate our anniversary, having had an outstanding experience here previously with a larger group. Unfortunately, our dinner for two—over $775—fell far short of expectations. The evening started with promise: our menus had our anniversary printed on them, which felt special, but they were later taken away and never returned as a keepsake. From there, the attention to detail unraveled. After ordering sparkling water, we were later refilled with flat. One cocktail had so much ice it was distracting, while another, though tasty, was served in a large clunky glass that made it unpleasant to drink. Twice I had to ask for crumbs to be cleared, and the second time the waiter actually sprayed the table with a bottle while silverware was still set. Course after course was inconsistent. The canape tartare was overwhelmed by mustard, and the plating looked tired. The melon palate cleanser and roasted Palisade peaches were flavorless. The tuna crudo and squash blossom were decent, though again lacking in presentation. The salmon was overcooked, the soft shell crab both overcooked and poorly plated, though the Berkshire BLT was one of the highlights. Our wine pairings were hit or miss—the first good, the next two poor—and our server even misidentified one pairing, leaving us unsure if we were given the correct wine at all. For mains, the Wagyu was cooked well, but the sauce ruined it, and the lobster was forgettable. The lamb was good, but again plating felt uninspired. Desserts were equally disappointing: the lemon macarons and cheesecake cleanser lacked flavor, the gelato was inedible, and the cinnamon roll had little cinnamon. The chocolate pecan entremet was the standout, while the apple spice cake was just fine. Service did not help the experience. Our server seemed lackluster and unknowledgeable compared to others around us, and at no point did the manager stop by to check in. For a restaurant of this caliber, and at this price point, the lack of attention to detail, inconsistent food, poor plating, and uninspired service were extremely disappointing. What should have been a special celebration felt like a missed opportunity, and sadly, we left more frustrated than fulfilled.

I rarely ever leave reviews but after sitting on this all night I felt I needed to say something. I would only rate it one star if it wasn’t for our server, Adam, and his amazing service. But everything else was unfortunately disappointing. We had such high hopes for this place after hearing about how wonderful it is but we had a totally different experience. We came to celebrate our anniversary and were prepared to spend a pretty penny on an incredible experience that we thought we were going to be getting. But unfortunately the food was not worth half of what we paid for it and we felt more than a little ripped off. The portions were laughably tiny. Like really. It was like you were getting teased with 2 bites of food every 20-30 minutes (yes that’s how long it took each “course” to come out, expect to be here for at least 2 hours) but yet you never got to experience a real meal. My husband and I both left hungry and frustrated. The dishes were either overly salty or underwhelming in flavor. For example, I got the rack of lamb for one of the courses and the risotto it was on top of was terribly dry and undercooked. Another thing was there was so many servers and other workers standing/moving around that it was a little overwhelming. You would take one sip of water and someone would run up to refill your cup. I left the table for a moment and came back and my napkin was gone with a new one in it’s place. While I appreciate the gesture, it felt like we were being watched and had no privacy. My husband and I could not even hold a conversation because there would be a different person coming to our table for something every minute or so. It felt like the employees were bored and were desperate for something to do since there were so many of them. Overall I would not recommend this place and would encourage you to check out other restaurants in the area whose food is incredible and portioned correctly.

My birthday celebration here was truly unforgettable, marked by exceptional service from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the valet greeted us with warmth and even noted it was my birthday, setting the tone for a royal experience. This personalized attention continued with the hostess, who thoughtfully prepared our table in a prime corner spot by the window, offering a breathtaking view of the city lights. Adam, our server, provided truly top-notch service, his attentiveness was so remarkable that my boyfriend made a note of his name and our table number for future visits. The culinary experience was equally impressive, with every dish exceeding expectations. The entire evening, from our arrival to our departure, was elevated to another level, even including specially printed menus says Happy Birthday with my name on it.

We decided to stop in for a few cocktails and dinner before our concert, not realizing it was a full-course restaurant. I was mainly looking for amazing mountain views, but this place had it all—the scenery, delicious food, and staff who were incredibly nice and accommodating

Blackbelly Market & Restaurant is a farmhouse-chic eatery and butcher shop in East Boulder, known for its dedication to locally sourced products. Run by Top Chef winner Chef Hosea Rosenberg, the restaurant offers charcuterie, burgers, steaks, and hand-cut Kennebec fries. It has gained recognition for its whole-animal butchery program and commitment to serving the freshest ingredients from local ranchers.
Exceptional food, cocktails, and service. My steak was tender and cooked just right. My waiter was very attentive and I never had to flag him down. He was always anticipating anything I was needing. It's a very popular place, but I had no issue being seated quickly. I've eaten at plenty of pricey places. Very few were what I would consider worth the extra cost. This place is one of maybe 5 places I can think of that are not only worth it, but not over charging considering the quality you get.

Flawless presentation, impeccable service, and exquisite flavors. Pretty much everything you want when you make a dinner reservation. Came into town from Austin with my daughter and sat at the chef’s bar which was a great experience for her to see the behind the scenes magic that goes into the details of executing a perfect plate. Cannot recommend dinner at Blackbelly more…a true gem.

Really just an all around wonderful dining experience. Myself and my team spent a week in Boulder. We all agreed this was our favorite restaurant 🍽️ and we visited some really good places 👍. The overall ambiance is wonderful with a locker of meat showing 👀. The bar in the back was very quaint 😊. The star of the show was the food for sure. Excellent flavors. Everything cooked just perfectly. The service was on point and very well done. I had some very delicious scallops. I know it might be odd to order at a beef place, but they were excellent and I was in the mood for some. Very moist and delicious. Not cooked too long. Just an excellent dish. We had several appetizers, an amazing bread and a wonderful beef tartar. The menu even satisfied our vegetarian team member. I assure you you will enjoy this place for its food and everything else.
Family G — Google review
Outstanding food, delicious dishes, good service. Tables are rather small and positioned way too close together, noise level was quite high. Wine prices are rather high: steak, lamb and pork dishes were outstanding. Focaccia was great, fresh and warm, just pieces of it were humongous, so we had to break them apart ourselves. Tip of 6% for kitchen was included on the bill.
Dragan K — Google review
Best food in town! They have their own dry age cooler. All the meats are great. The service is great. Ambience is great. Can’t say anything bad about this place. Must try!
Larry L — Google review
Just fine. Was it bad? No. Was it overly flavorful and beckoning for me to return? No. Got the Bahn Mi and the Wagyu Beef sandwich. The wagyu was pretty forgettable and the bahn mi wasn’t too much better. Forgot the soup and had to remind them when the food was dropped off (no big deal). But, the flavor of the food doesn’t align with the cost. There are other $17 sub sandwiches that I’d choose over blackbelly.

Visited: Mid-May 2025 | Dinner | Party of 2 Blackbelly in Boulder (with its Denver outpost now drawing buzz) carries weight--not only from its reputation as a whole-animal, sustainable operation, but also from its Michelin Green Star nod for sustainability. Naturally, expectations were high. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to the hype. Starters: Overpowered and Underwhelming We began with the Roasted Bone Marrow, which came sparsely portioned. Only about half of the bone contained marrow--arguably normal, but not ideal when paired with two pieces of overly oily toast. The pickled onions were aggressively acidic, dominating rather than complementing the dish. The Chicharrones were... fine. Just fine. Crisp and salty, but forgettable. Not a starter that leaves an impression or sets the tone for a special meal. Mains: Long Wait, Little Reward We waited nearly 40 minutes for our mains--an unusually long delay with no clear explanation. The Crispy Pig Ears, which I was genuinely excited about, were a letdown. As a longtime fan of this ingredient, I found the deep-frying and sugary red pepper jelly completely obliterated the subtle, gelatinous texture and flavor pig ears are celebrated for. In the end, the ears became just a vehicle for the jelly. The result? A dish that could've been made with anything and tasted the same. The 5oz Buckner Loin (lamb) didn't fare much better. Though ordered medium and appearing cooked accordingly, it somehow tasted dry and under-seasoned, lacking the richness or tenderness good lamb should deliver. The accompanying crispy sweetbreads were charred to the point of bitterness--blackened, dry, and tasting closer to burnt wood than delicacy. Presentation-wise, the dish lacked any visual appeal. And at $55 for the loin alone, the price felt unjustified--especially when you compare it to equally-priced signature mains in fine dining institutions. Drink & Service Notes The strawberry mocktail was delightful--bright, balanced, and refreshing. A rare bright spot in an otherwise unremarkable meal. Service was warm and attentive overall, although we were handed a set of dirty tongs, which felt out of place in a restaurant of this price point and prestige. We dined outdoors, so I can't comment on the interior atmosphere, but the patio was comfortable. Final Thoughts Our bill also included a 6% kitchen surcharge, which diners should be aware of--especially when value already feels questionable. In the end, while Blackbelly's mission is admirable and its service professional, the execution in the kitchen fell flat across the board. It's hard to reconcile the restaurant's accolades with the actual experience. Perhaps we caught them on an off night, but with so many exceptional dining options in Denver, I wouldn't rush back.

What an amazing place! My brother insisted we take my dad here for his 79th birthday. Everything from service, to ambiance, and especially the food was amazing. We were able to try a variety of dishes by sharing plates. They are also wonderful with allergies. They took care of my celiacs like pros. One of the most impressive dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. This is our new place for all special occasions!

Northern Italian restaurant
Frasca Food and Wine is an Italian restaurant located on Pearl Street, offering a refined dining experience with Northern Italian cuisine. The menu features dishes made with locally sourced ingredients, such as risotto with Indonesian lemon vinegar and musque de Provence from a local farm. Run by chef Lachlan Mackinnon-Patterson and master sommelier Bobby Stuckey, the restaurant has received accolades for its delicate pastas, expertly paired wines, innovative desserts, and impeccable service.
We had a truly wonderful dining experience at Frasca Food and Wine for my birthday. The staff were incredibly friendly and warm, making us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious — beautifully prepared and full of flavor. You can really feel the care that goes into everything here. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The reputation preceded my visit, but I wanted to experience for myself. From the moment we walked in it was apparent that this was a very different high excellence experience. The number of servers who seamlessly work together to provide world class service that walks the fine line of familiarity and professionalism was extraordinary. The choice between the chefs fixed menu and the four choices was difficult but without unanimous buy in to partake in the extensive chefs menu, we decided to make our individual selections from the four course alacarte menus. We also added an irresistible optional pasta course that was well worth the extra calories. This is truly a special place at all levels. World class!

We're visiting from Memphis. First trip without the kids in 5 years. I found Frasca and knew I had to come here. The menu sounded phenomenal. Went to make a reservation and they offer a Chef's table! I was so excited; I never thought I'd get a chance to do one. It was worth it. Meeting some of the Chefs and hearing first hand about the dishes was incredible. (Sidenote the chefs were all really cool and friendly.) The staff was an important part of the experience. Everyone from Sergei and Jeremy, the GM and head Sommelier, to Sarah and Jesus, our servers made the experience special. And the food was beyond. I've had some high quality food, but this place really showed how every component on a dish matters and works together. Can't say enough good things about this place.
Sabrina G — Google review
TL;DR: Their star is well-earned. Hospitality impeccable, food outstanding, wine pairings slap. Best place in Boulder, worth the price. We must like this place because we've returned three times, so it's time to review. We've come on Valentine's Day, anniversary, birthday - to sample three different seasonal menus. From our arrival for my birthday dinner I felt treated like a VIP. There was a minor serving accident that could have happened to anyone, and even though we did not complain, the staff all but tripped over themselves apologetically in an effort to make it right and ensure we had a good experience. The waitstaff are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about everything they serve. Out of the 9-course meal, nearly every course knocked it out of the park. The appetizer and dessert courses in particular have given someone an opportunity to really show off their skills. They creatively blend flavors and textures I might not have expected, into a culinary powerhouse far more than the sum of its parts. Easily the best meal I’ve had in Boulder, on a level with Beckon in Denver. The one time I’ve had the wine pairing, each wine seemed carefully chosen to complement the dish it was served with, and the generous pours nearly bowled me over by the end of the night. I’m not educated enough in wine to order off their extensive wine list, nor rich enough to get appropriately educated, but if that’s you, I’d trust their sommeliers to make excellent suggestions. Even their cappuccino (from Boxcar in town) is expertly crafted and served with a house-made biscotti. The meal can last hours, and the cost makes this a place to go for a gift or special occasion, but to my mind it is worth every penny.
Guy G — Google review
A gem in Boulder. An excellent experience each time we visit. Unmatched wine list, eclectic menu of seasonal offerings, and stellar service. It is worth going out of your way to enjoy this restaurant. As well, it serves to influence a growing culinary scene in the Boulder-Denver area.

Superior dining experience at Frasca. Service, food and atmosphere all deserving of the Michelin star. The stand out dishes were the A5 Waygu and the Risotto di marinara

Good atmosphere, Italian wines, Italian food, Italian hospitality in Denver. Foods are delicious. You will love the quality. I started with Canederli and carried with penne al Ragu di antra, Alaskan halibut(ippoglosso) which was extraordinary. Ciliegia for closing. Price performance rate is acceptable. When you are around, must do!
Mahir O — Google review
Did the tasting menu and it was fantastic. Some of the cocktails were a little “meh”, and so I’d be more likely to do wine there in the future. The caviar on corn cake—one of the three starters—was probably the best bite of food I’ve had this year. The crudo (the second course) seemed a bit lacking to me, but others at the table really liked it. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Breakfast restaurant
"The Buff" is an iconic breakfast spot in Boulder, offering a variety of hearty American dishes. Their menu includes classic breakfast items, breakfast burgers, skillets, and unique omelets. At Snooze: An A.M. Eatery, you can enjoy a flight of pancakes featuring creative flavors like Blueberry Danish, Pineapple Upside Down Pancakes, and Sweet Potato Pancakes topped with homemade caramel and candied pecans.
My wife and I were visiting Boulder for a couple of days and on 8 Sep 2025, we opted to have brunch somewhere within the vicinity. I did a Google search of the area and discovered this little gem. In fact, I recall seeing this restaurant a month ago (via Google) whenever I was in the area again, but unfortunately, I wasn't in the mood to try it then. But alas, here we are writing a formal review of this restaurant. Living in Las Vegas, it's not that common to see someone park far away and walk to a restaurant, but that's what we did for this place. We parked at the King Soopers down the road because the weather was nice and I always enjoy walking around after I eat to help with the digestion process. Why is this relevant to this review? It's to inform you that I'm not 100% certain of the parking situation at the restaurant aside from the one parking lot at the restaurant itself...which wasn't full when we arrived. When we walked in, the restaurant wasn't really busy (go figure since the parking lot wasn't that full)...I think a lot of it has to do with it being a typical work/school day. Regardless, I was ecstatic to see this because I was starving and didn't feel like waiting to get seated. After we got seated, our primary server, Anthony, provided us with water and informed us that he'd return to take our order. Throughout the dining experience, he did a remarkable job; he was attentive, professional, and operated efficiently. So kudos to him and the business for validating a good customer service mantra. We ordered coffee, Egg White Veggie Omelette w/Potatoes and Wheat Toast, Valley of the Sun Omelette w/Canadian Bacon, English Muffin, and Fruit, side of Pancakes, and side of Bacon. Everything tasted magnificent to which I had to really chew each bite slowly to ensure it wasn't just my hunger assessing the food quality - it was actually that good. Between the food temperature, texture, flavor, and quantity of ingredients, it's no wonder why this business has a significantly higher rating on Google. The price-to-quantity/quality ratio was reasonable and I highly respect this business for their continued support to the active men and women of the Armed Forces, including its Veterans - thank you for that! I can honestly say that this restaurant is worth the visit and even though it was just my first time, I'm confident that the unparalleled quality, quantity, and service is evident 100% of the time. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

The servers were amazing and took great care of us while we were there. The food was excellent. We had a great breakfast with delicious bacon, eggs and wonderfully seasoned potatoes that blended with the eggs and bacon just perfectly. Delicious coffee that added the right accent to an overall wonderful breakfast. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting and overall you will really enjoy the Bluff. I'm sure. I'll be coming back the next time I'm in Boulder.
Family G — Google review
Great place for breakfast or any other meal but things can get very busy over the weekend so one may have to wait a while for a table. The portions used to be huge, now just big enough and still well presented. The service was quick, friendly and pleasant. There's an outside patio seating but in Boulder, that is very much dependent upon the weather. Prices are fair, especially for the area.

Brunch so good that I can literally eat it everyday! So filling, huge proportion and good options. We were a party of 6 people and omg we order so much of it and it was really amazing!! My personal fav was Catina griller which I ordered for myself, crispy and the fries were really good. The Benedict looked real good. We also tried chicken with french toast and it was delicious! Hope to go there again. Also they don’t take reservations and we put our name to waitlist once there. We waited for 30 mins to get it but totally worth it!

This place is really good! The food was great, with the steak and eggs being my personal favorite. The service- incredible! Our food arrived in minutes! Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for brunch in the boulder area.

I love Boulder! The food is always amazing. The Buff did not disappoint! They were super busy yet the wait wasn't very long for a table. Service was friendly too.

I loved my visit to The Buff Restaurant in Boulder! I had the chai latte — it was huge and absolutely delicious. I also ordered one of their hearty bowls, and it was amazing — full of flavor and very filling. The place was packed, which just shows how popular it is, and luckily there’s free parking nearby, which is a big plus in Boulder. It was a bit on the loud side, but the great food and atmosphere totally made up for it. Highly recommend!

We love the buff! I think I’ve tried at least 4 or 5 different items from their menu and have been impressed every time. The service is always incredible quick and friendly. We went at a busy time and the wait time was under what we were quoted. Will absolutely be going back

The restaurant has been around for 90 years and holds a special place in the hearts of University of Colorado students.
Not just a historical monument to free expression and fun! But the food is awesome. The 100 year legacy is done proud every day with great food , consistent service, in a clean environment. Don't miss this one! DEF get the brisket Ruben!

If you don't go to The Sink, you're missing out! Best burger I've had in recent memory. My friend had a pizza, and it was great too. Also, great espresso martini and margaritas. The food and drinks are only surpassed by the atmosphere. A really cool vibe. Don't miss out!

This food definitely catered to the American palette. Everything was overly sweet, The Cowboy Ruben was okay… very very sweet. The Straw Burger was just okay… a lot of bread and a lot of cheese. Spicy from the jalapeños but no flavor. My fries were a little stale and my husbands. Probably wouldn’t come again.

Best food ever! Please come to this place. If they say Reuben sandwich SAY YES! If they say french fries or sweet potato, take both! Best honey mustard I’ve ever tried in my life.

Such a fun experience! This placed was rec’d by some friends who used to live here. It’s a bit hole-in-the wall in all the best ways. Seems to be a Boulder institution. My H and I shared the spinach dip and the bacon jammin burger. Loved both. The house-made pickles were extra yummy. Loved the vibe of the place. The service was fast and super friendly. Definitely a must when visiting Boulder.

Went here a few weeks ago and still dreaming of their skillet chocolate chip cookie… it’s a MUST! The food is great, not the best burger I’ve ever had but pretty good regardless. The lavender cocktail was splendid, as well. Their ambience is probably the best part (other than the cookie), filled with eclectic hand-painted murals. On their video board, they have stories at the Sink, which gives it a very homey feel. I loved learning about its history. Highly recommend for a unique bite in the area!

Lucile's Creole Cafe is a charming eatery that offers a taste of Cajun-Creole cuisine in a cozy setting. Housed in a re-appropriated Victorian home, this traditional Creole kitchen has been serving up Southern flavors for over 30 years. The menu features classic dishes like red beans and rice with andouille sausage, blackened salmon, crawfish etouffee, and more.
Really amazing brunch! Had the mountain trout dish and was very impressed. I would have liked the portions to be a little bit larger for a brunch place but the flavor and service made up for it. The best biscuits you can find in Boulder and maybe even in Denver. A boulder must try.

This place is a must-try when in Boulder! The food, drinks, dog-friendly patio, and views were all perfection. Reasonably priced and the best part was our amazing server Sara - she made us feel so welcomed, was attuned to our every need, and had great recommendations! Will definitely be back 😊

Such unique plates that you aren’t going to get anywhere else. Breakfast potatoes are unique and consistently great. My go to order is the Eggs New Orleans and it always hits, though last time I switched it up and got the Eggs Pontchartrain and that was good too. But in all honestly, I’m mostly there for the biscuits and potatoes. Fresh squeezed juices are good here too! Boulder location atmosphere is one of my favorite of all its locations. Consider yourself extra lucky if you end up on the porch!
Michelle R — Google review
I came here at the recommendation of a friend, and I am very grateful that I did, because this is a bustling and vibrant slice of New Orleans vividness in the heart of Boulder. This place is admittedly quite crowded, and at peak times, there are significant weights for a table. I was fortunate enough that I only had to wait about 10 minutes or so, and I was ushered into a lovely little table surrounded with Cajun paraphernalia and a delightful, glamorously nostalgic sense of early 20th century ambience. The food is varied and provides a Boulder twist on New Orleans cuisine, and I am particularly enamored with the blueberry southern pancakes, which have a grainy authenticity to them that feels quite hardy. I will conclude by saying that this is also a fun place for eavesdropping, if you are so inclined, as the tables are close and everyone around has quite interesting stories. This place feels both energetic and classy, and I quite recommend it for anyone who wants a savory breakfast or just a slice of New Orleans delights.

Lucile’s Creole Cafe is a great breakfast or lunch restaurant. It’s in an old Victorian house that gives it a homey atmosphere. The servers were friendly, polite, and helpful. They returned often to the table to refresh our drinks or ask if we needed anything else. The food was delicious and not at all the common fair you find in most breakfast lunch places these days. I had the rice pudding porridge and my guest had Eggs New Orleans. There was plenty of food and it was quite tasty.

im gonna gush on this restaurant a bit. so we are big fans of anything cajun or creole. my littlest is BIG into cheesy grits, shrimp and grits, buttered grits, grits and gumbo. if you can name the grits dish they'll eat it. my aunt knowing there is a complete adoration for grits and beignets suggested this and it did not disappoint. Boulder does not have a reputation for being southern and i was completely thrown when google led me to a house. i saw the tables outside on the porch but i was a little like do i just go in? do i wait? like you don't just go waltzing into a house there is just something about a restaurant in a house that screams come on in and sit a spell and wait for meemaws supper or breakfast ! we ordered hoe cakes and our favorite cheese grits and the food came rather quickly. the waitress was friendly and the jams and sauces were homemade and you could tell. there is one kinda unusual thing about this place and that is when you pay its a dollar more if you use a credit card. not sure if thats tip or if its the restaurants way of covering the service fees associated with credit cards
Tracy F — Google review
Solid southern comfort food in a very cozy atmosphere. Huge portions, beignets and chicory coffee were the stand out dishes

Bramble & Hare is a cozy and warmly decorated spot in Boise, offering eclectic seasonal fare, microbrews, wine, and cocktails. It opened in 2012 as the sister restaurant of Black Cat Bistro by Chef Eric and Jill Skokan. The restaurant serves dinner seven days a week with a focus on organic produce and heritage Mulefoot pork.
exceptional farm to table dining experience. we cant wait to go back. from the first bite of homemade sourdough to the last bite of dessert everything was amazing. service was on point, seasonings were bold and flavorful. family style farm fresh veggies served with every entree were a delight.
Robin H — Google review
Visited Boulder to try the monthly harvest dinner, but was left underwhelmed (not an unusual experience with the city’s fine dining establishments). We liked the farm to table concept, especially the night’s theme of squashes and squash blossoms. Dinner started well with the cocktail, amuse bouche and first two appetizers - squash carpaccio and stuffed squash blossom. The main was however disappointing. My partner is vegetarian and I’m a pescatarian so we were offered salmon. (My partner would have preferred an actual vegetarian dish but was probably intimidated by the server’s aloofness.) The only thing remarkable about it was the server placing the dirty cutlery from the previous dish, which had a sticky pistachio tarator sauce on it, to be re-used for the main. Dessert was a stone cold, rock hard zucchini cake. Cozy decor. Service was cool and efficient. Gratuity of 22% is automatically applied. Ultimately a middling experience that was not worth the hour’s drive to get there (and definitely not another hour to get away from).

As a board-certified nutritionist, I can tell you that if ever there was a quintessential farm to table, nutritionally aligned, agriculturally-centered place to dine and “feel good” - This is it. I have traveled the world to find healthy, beautiful food and wandered in here to experience the divine salted radishes - they taste like cool ranch Doritos 😂 and the director showed me a video of THEIR pigs grazing in the sunflower pastures. I consumed this fuel and felt so satisfied with life 🥰 In other words…highly recommend!!

Wow, What a gem of a place in boulder. It’s a cozy, intimate, and charming atmosphere. They have really unique art displayed all over the restaurant, the coolest piece in my opinion is the revolving shelves behind the bar. As for the food, I am so happy to see a restaurant that truly honors their sustainability principles. They source the vast majority of their ingredients from a farm only 15 minutes away in Longmont. You can really taste the freshness. One of the best things I’ve eaten there is the pork and the cheesecake. Service feels very intentional and warm. The waitstaff there are really personable and I truly felt like my waiter cared about my experience while dining.

My husband and I came for our anniversary. The staff were super attentive, called beforehand to get more information including any dietary restrictions, which I truly appreciated. The service was great. The atmosphere was nice, but I think I would’ve liked a teeny bit more room on the love seat side (I am fat, though, so take that if it applies to you). Unfortunately, the food was no where near worth the price point. It was mid at best. Mostly lacking flavor. Some of the cuts of meat were just simply not cooked well, pork belly appetizer with un-rendered fat and overcooked pork tenderloin. I dessert was not great either. It was disappointing because we save high end dining experiences for very special occasions and it was a bummer to have to pay so much for such a mediocre culinary experience. First and last dining experience here, sadly.

We celebrated my daughter’s Masters Thesis Defense with a wonderful meal at Bramble and Hare. The meal began with a complementary glass of crisp, bubbly champagne. I also ordered a Pollinator Punch which was a sweet and sour delight. We would be hard pressed to chose a favorite appetizer or entree. The heritage pork, fois gras, salad and raison bread all received rave reviews. We were lucky enough to have Chloe as our server who graciously explained vegan options and answered many menu questions. The portions were generous, so not only did we forgo dessert, but took food home. The final delight of the evening was Chloe’s heartfelt congratulations and the gift of a card signed by Bramble and Hare’s staff. Thank you all for making our celebration so special.
Kimberly S — Google review
This place has quite a few great reviews and recommendations but unfortunately this was not our experience. They are farm to table which means their menu is ever rotating which I appreciate. But, the food was bland and for their reputation I was caught off guard to the overall quality. We do have a dairy allergy and they accommodated it but it's hard to believe dairy would take that much away from their flavors. Overall disappointing for the reviews and what they are known for. We will not be back. The drinks were the highlight of our "meal". They had vegetarian, gluten free, and were able to accommodate no dairy. The portions are a really good size but the flavor and overall flavor profiles coming together lacked. That night they had duck which ended up being extremely gamey which can turn a lot of people away from game meat because the flavor profile did not compliment the natural flavor. My compliments to the manager that night, he busted his tail helping his bartender, making rounds, and talking with customers. Paid Parking is limited in the area due to the location. They offer a three course meal for $75 and do automatically add 22% gratitude for parties of 6 and up. There is a higher chance of having a wheelchair/limited accessibility in the space but some entry ways might be tight. The resturant ambiance is wonderful! Make sure you make a reservation because they are typically booked out and have only limited spots at the bar but the bartender was extremely busy that night.

Wow, what an experience!!! Hands down one best restaurants in Colorado. We traveled in from Houston Texas for our friend’s birthday, and we were super pleased with his partner’s decision on choosing this restaurant . I am in service Industry so I’m Super particular about food, wine, and service. We were greeted by the manager Rose Who was super friendly, and accommodating. Our server Isaiah walked us through the entire menu, And gave great recommendations, his service was definitely a flawless 10 💜 food was exquisite, and cooked perfectly . The coolest part about this whole experience is all the chefs came out, gave us hugs and took pictures with us. If you’re looking for a place with an amazing view, delicious food, and Outstanding service this is definitely your place. Thank you, to all the staff for making it a memorable experience

This place is amazing! From the moment you walk in the experience starts. The atmosphere is great and the staff were so kind, welcoming, and helpful. We sat on the rooftop with an incredible view and ordered a bunch of tapas, compartir, and a main dish. The flavors were smart, detailed, and came together perfectly. The recommended wine pairings were also on par. We had a great time and definitely will be back! Thank you for a memorable evening!

I have been to brunch a couple of times, so dinner was a new experience - Isaiah was a wonderful server, with great suggestions. The meal was good - we had gildas and octopus to start, both delicious, and the gin & tonic cart is one of my favorite things at Corrida - the Indigo is amazing! The wine with the steak was excellent! And another excellent server on the digestif cart, we had a great experience - always the best service!

The atmosphere here was great. The bar on the upstairs while you wait for your table was fantastic with great bartenders. The food was great as well, especially the halibut. The crap fried rice is a bit salty so I wouldn’t do that again, but the gnocchi was fantastic! House wine is pretty good as well!

This is a spectacular shareable, quasi-tapas style bistro that offers eclectic flavors, combining cuisines, yet offering pedigreed options. Crispy cauliflower grants a surprise at each bite, as it's heretogrnous architecture creates a new facet of flavors at each corner. Texture on the cauliflower was gratifyingly hearty. The (what I will call "curried") hummus base was flooring in aromatics and really cuts through the flavors Burrata was brought together by the salsa verde and really carried flavor into the creamy texture of the goat cheese. Lamb arayas have a je ne se quoi (nutty from pine nuts?) quality that was stunning on the first bite. Great texture on the lamb. Pita was crispy and holds the spiced lamb well. The shrimp a la plancha features a gravy, which brings a necessary acidity to round out the meaty texture on this truly jumbo shrimp.

The food was super good and served fresh (i think its 30 seconds from when its done in the kitchen that it gets brought to the table). Its shareable style dishes. We had the cauliflower which was incredibly flavorful and creative, the carrots which were phenomenal, the shrimp was delectable and I could bathe in the sauce its in 🤤 and the roasted chicken and fries! As well as some decadent chocolate peanut butter crunch mousse deliciousness. YUM! The lighting is low, vibes are fun and modern. I had an NA mocktail and it was super tasty as well! Such a delectable restaurant to eat! Nestled at the bustling Pearl Street, this was a gem of a find for us looking for brunch. We ordered three items, the Turkish Eggs, Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich, and the very popular Carrots. Yes, carrots. Trust me, they're worth it! The Turkish Eggs was a delight, no pun intended, with its savory poached egg floating on top of the smokey urfa chile-peppered labneh yogurt. The zaatar spiced naan makes a perfect pairing as well. The Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich is good, but not as memorable. Nevertheless, it was still quite good. The fries were good, too. The carrot, however is really worth the hype! It may simply be called just "carrots" on the menu, but the taste is far more than its humble title. It's almost like sweet potatoes in its subtle sweetness but better. The combination of that urfa chile, whipped feta, pistachio, sesame, cilantro, and mint made for an exciting combination of spicy and sweetness. Yes, we had to wait until 2:30pm (we came at 1:45) to get it since it's technically not on the Brunch menu, but it was worth it. All in all, the food was great, and the service was just as great. Next time I'm in Boulder, I'll have to come here for more tasty dining!

The cashier was very friendly, but unfortunately I cannot say the same about the barista. Even though we ordered to have our drinks in, she insisted on giving us a paper cup. When we asked for proper cups, she reacted with an unfriendly attitude and seemed annoyed. This does not really fit with the café’s concept of presenting itself as environmentally friendly.

The bar offers custom drinks where patrons can choose a spirit, flavoring, and style to be mixed by the bartender. The house cocktails are also popular, featuring unexpected ingredients like cilantro, fig, and Serrano peppers. The restaurant emphasizes local drinks such as gin, whiskey, vodka, and tequila made by Colorado companies.
My partner & I had such a wonderful date night this evening. Evan the bartender was so personable & excited about the mixology & exploration within the drinks offered. We had the pesto muscles paired with a delicious Caesar salad. Our experience could only be compared to the external happy dance one does when flavors &/or moments hit the spot & no words can describe. We send our love wholeheartedly. Thank you, Salt staff. Xoxo

Found this place walking around pearl street mall on a Monday. They were busy so we sat at the bar. Service was great here and drinks came fast (probably a perk of being at the bar). I had the blackberry spritz sub gin. It was good but a bit too sweet imo. I was pleased to see they had three French whites on the glass wine offerings. French whites tend to be my fave whites so I ordered a glass of Charme de Loire—it went perfectly with the halibut and simple salad we shared. The halibut was very good, but I do feel it was a tad overdone—a shame as I love halibut. But the sides and sauce that came with it were excellent and perfectly cooked. I felt it was a tad on the heavy side for summer, so I was glad we also ordered a simple salad to go with it. The simple salad was indeed simple but it was 10/10, so good. And went perfectly with the fish and wine. My H enjoyed the blueberry mocktail too. We skipped dessert. Overall a good experience. I’d happily come back.

The service was 10/10. Very attentive and kind staff. The food was delicious, however, there could be more variety or perhaps nightly specials. Would highly recommend!

Food was good! We had the tomato soup and the gnocchi and both were delicious. Our one gripe was some of the service. The hostess was not interested in helping us and seemed like she could not care less about her job. We asked if we could be sat next to heaters on the patio (fall in Colorado) and she said yeah that’s the only table available (there were multiple available I don’t know if they were reserved it was just kinda weird sass). She sat us and then did not turn on the heater after being asked. We asked the server if he could turn it on and he did not for some time. I then returned to the hostess to ask if she could turn it on and she said “yeah I’ll ask them”. And then remained at the hostess station. It was just kinda odd.

Besides the food being delicious, we appreciated all the little things like the waiter switching out our bowl of mussel shells when it got full, or making sure the table was clean and that we had fresh silverware. Simple but thoughtful!

Great service and atmosphere. We shared a Caesar Salad and the blistered peppers - both were excellent. I enjoyed the gnocchi bolognese! The Manhattan was well done !!

We had our wedding dinner/reception in the wine cellar. Brad and his team delivered a high quality experience. The renovated space was gorgeous and spacious for our 35 guests + staff - it didn't feel tight at all. The food and drinks were incredibly delicious and our guests kept raving about both. Also, the SALT team displayed our wedding cake beautifully and even dolled up the cake slices with whipped cream and strawberries. 10/10 recommend SALT for a smaller wedding!!

We hosted our wedding dinner at Salt in the wine cellar and loved everything about it! The menu was amazing, Brad made the planning effortless, and the service was top-notch. Highly recommend for any special occasion!

Centro Mexican Kitchen is a vibrant spot in the heart of downtown Boulder, offering imaginative Latin cuisine and a lively atmosphere. The restaurant features a covered patio, perfect for people-watching and enjoying the fantastic Boulder weather while sampling gourmet Mexican bites, brews, and beverages. With heaters for colder months and cooling sprays for warmer days, Centro ensures a comfortable experience year-round.
Outstanding everything! The location is ideal and the bar is both, inside and patio. Our server was on point and the others pitched in as a team, very helpful. We sat on the patio and ordered from the BEST happy hour we have found. The house margaritas tasted so fresh and $5 was a deal. The HH nachos and potato tacos were incredible, the flavors and high quality ingredients were popping. What a great place to chill and watch Pearl Street walk by, we can't wait to return!

We came here to celebrate national tequila day, and a fundraising effort for Ukraine. We were easily drawn because this is one of our favorite restaurants in Boulder. Luke did a great job as our friendly server, he just didn’t warn us that the happy hour portions were so ample. We enjoyed the pint margaritas, the potato tacos, and the quesabirria tacos which we couldn’t finish because there was so much. But we’ll gladly eat them for breakfast as we took home what we couldn’t finish. The qusabirria tacos come with a very rich, savory consumé, and we even dipped our potato tacos into it because we couldn’t resist. We spoke with Jaken, the assistant general manager, who was also very friendly, and we told them how well everything was presented and how much we enjoyed our happy hour/dinner on the patio. We’ll def be back.

I don’t even know where to begin. The ambiance is excellent. From the fun and artsy decor to the open floor plan where the inside and outside patio are separated by an open bar. The staff have all been super friendly and knowledgeable. We are visiting from california to move our daughter into college and happened to walk by one day and we were drawn in immediately. We have now eaten here three times in one week…. It is THAT good. They have a great happy hour menu and their brunch and dinner match the same energy. Because we had been in three times their Chef named Jason personally, came out to meet us because he was moved by the fact that we loved the food so much. He took the time during a busy time in the restaurant to go over all of the things that we had ordered and even made us two special things that we had not ordered because he thought we would enjoy them, which we did immensely. We were lucky enough to be able to have the same server two days in a row, and her name is Lilly and she is a ray of sunshine and went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of. I am very confident that she treats every guest this way and makes you feel like you’re a VIP. The various things we ordered over the last few days were Pazole, Hamachi Crudo, Queso ( best we have ever had), Caesar salad, deviled eggs that were honestly the most creative and delicious ones I’ve ever had, cornbread with chorizo gravy ( 🤯 ) and Sopapillas with agave butter and quince jam ( non negotiable at the end of the meal 10000/10 ) please treat yourself to a meal here at least once!!!!

My daughter and I had lunch here on a whim. We were told that we'd have a 15 minute wait for a table so we sat at the bar which turned out to be a blessing as Alex (P?) served us and made two amazing recommendations. The tacos were as good as anything I've eaten and the sampler of the salsas and queso was incredible. My daughter is a little fussier and had the cheese quesadillas which she loved. Can't wait to go back the next time I am in the area!

River and Woods is a charming eatery and bar located in a cottage with a family-friendly backyard. Following Chef John's retirement, the century-old miners cabin on the east end of downtown Pearl Street has been taken over by Chef Daniel Asher and Josh Dinar. The restaurant offers a cozy atmosphere with an outdoor backyard seating area, grill, and converted Airstream trailer-bar.
What a darling and inviting place this is! Every single staff member was kind and said hello and thanks for being here. Our server Andy was excellent - perfect timing, great suggestions and super friendly and welcoming. We came for Easter brunch and it was delicious. My husband loved the Brunch burger and I couldn’t resist the biscuits and gravy- so good! One of the highlights of the meal was starting with the Alpine Brunch Board sure to please any foodie. Such careful attention to detail… you can tell they take pride in what they do here! ❤️ Also recommend the Bloody Mary with the pepper vodka and the Paloma. The bartenders definitely know what they are doing.

We consider this restaurant the “Crown Jewel” of Boulder and the Denver area. In two days, we tried everything on the menu and were consistently impressed by its taste and presentation. The only picture we took was of the deviled eggs. We devoured the food so quickly that pictures became an afterthought. The staff was pleasant, professional, and understood the restaurant’s mission. After 2 days we became friends and it felt like we knew them for 20 years. We truly hope our paths cross again! Hats off to Maddie, Gabby, Rob, and Nos (chef) - with all our adoration, Jennifer, Steve “The Grad,” and Matthew from Chicago!

We enjoyed the dinner here with our 13-year-old son on a Friday night. We sat in the back patio area which featured live music from a guitar player. We appreciated that the music was a nice volume that did not overwhelm conversation. Food quality and preparation was solid. The service was excellent. Ambience is really nice with the lighting and decor. A really nicely done small restaurant that has good food with a casual vibe.

We booked a large party for a birthday celebration. Four of our party was running late and as a courtesy we let them know. One person did not order food - at this point they came out and announced we would be charged $20 for any adult who did not eat. When we asked to see the policy/speak to the manager, they said they would skip that charge, but we would be charged for any seats that weren't filled. They repeatedly sent our waitress back to speak with us, versus having a manager speak to us. When she finally came out, she said they could have sat other people, and it wasnt fair to the restaurant if we had a table for 15 but only had 13 people present. There are open tables as I write this. There were open tables the entire time. The food was okay. My duck wings were cold in the middle but the flavor was good. The food was not delivered until after this altercation, which was 100 minutes AFTER our reservation (and several of us were here early). That's over an hour and a half we had 2 empty seats they intended to charge us for when they weren't serving our food. We checked the website, the menu, the reservation confirmation. There is NOTHING that said we would have a $20 penalty for any seats empty, for adults not eating, or for any other issues. I will never, for any reason, eat at this restaurant again. They tried to bring the check before half the table was even served. And if you want to make an arbitrary rule half way through our meal, have the backbone to come speak with us and not send the waitress back over and over with different ways to charge us money for things we haven't done or didn't order. Terrible service. Food was cold. Management was rude. But hey, there seems to be a table at any time.... Also? There was an "upcharge" for getting anything besides mustard or ketchup on the burger. Not just cheese - lettuce, tomatoes and pickles were extra. This place is a joke.

First time in Boulder and we found this gem of a restaurant via Google Maps. We dined at the bar and felt right at home with Maddie & Rob. I had a great start with a Manhattan made with Redwood Empire Rye. It got better from there! We had Duck Wings (which were so good) to start and moved to the Rocky Mountain River Trout and the Pasture Raised Chicken. Maddie paired up a beautiful Nivarius Tempranillo Blanco that was spot on for both the trout and the chicken. We finished with the Chocolate Mousse paired with a Castro Ventosa Spanish red. This was a food and wine lovers primo experience! The trout and sides were outstanding and the chicken dish with the greens was excellent. Maddie knows her wines and has some tasty and interesting choices. Pro tip, book a dinner for two at the bar! We will come back! Sorry, no photos of trout and chicken as we were into the meal.

Almost magical - every bite was special and the flavors were delicious and very intentional. The best item on the forage board appetizer was a fish salad. We tried the trout entree, gnocchi, and duck gumbo. Each was truly delicious and thoughtfully assembled. The trout was cooked perfectly, the gnocchi were divine and served with a lemony sauce that was bright and delightful. The "gumbo" was savory and delicious, although not much like a classic gumbo. We enjoyed the smokes for dessert and some tasty drinks too.

Piece Love and Chocolate is a charming sweet shop located on Pearl Street, offering an array of delectable chocolate treats. From truffles to sipping chocolates, chocolate-covered pretzels, and more, this whimsical boutique is a haven for chocolate lovers. In addition to its delightful confections, the shop also features artisanal and gourmet chocolate bars from both American and international producers.
We had a really fun event here and they put out all kinds of different flavored chocolates, including hot pepper chocolate that made my tongue burn. For those of you who like the heat, you’ll love it. They also put out basil and cherry chocolates that were flavorful and delightful, as the basil tasted just like eating fresh basil, and the cherry as well, fresh cherry. They took us on a tour in the back where they make the chocolates. It’s a very intimate, colorful and unique setting that feels good to spend time in.

Good selection of unique truffles. I bought the strawberry balsamic chocolate and it was good, though I couldn’t taste much strawberry flavor (heavier flavor profile towards dark chocolate and balsamic). Staff did not seem very friendly or helpful, but we got what we ordered just fine.

Stepping into Piece love Chocolate is a truly delightful escape! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with cute, quiet vibes that make it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a treat. And oh, the treats! I can honestly say their Caramel Mocha is hands down the best I have ever had. It’s perfectly balanced, not too sweet, with that wonderful rich caramel flavor dancing with the coffee. I've been searching for a mocha this good for ages, and I've finally found it. Beyond the incredible drinks, I also had the pleasure of attending their macaron class, and it was a fantastic experience. It was well-taught, fun, and left me feeling like a macaron master (or at least, well on my way!). The staff guiding the class were patient and lovely, making the whole time a joy. This place is more than just a bakery; it's a sweet little haven. Whether you're looking for an incredible coffee, a quiet place to unwind, or a fun and engaging class, you won't be disappointed. I can't recommend it highly enough!

I can’t recommend this chocolatier highly enough! I called with a last-minute request for over 400 truffles to hand out at a conference, and Lola was absolutely fantastic to work with. The communication was seamless, the turnaround time was incredible, and the willingness to go above and beyond was out of this world. The chocolates were a huge hit with everyone: beautifully made, delicious, and exactly what we needed to make an impression. I coordinated everything remotely, and from placing the order to delivering the treats into attendees’ hands, it was a smooth, stress-free, and successful experience. Thank you, thank you! We will absolutely be back when we're in Boulder again (and will plan ahead this time)!

I was attending a bachelorette party that would have a chocolate charcuterie board, so I googled chocolate store between Estes Park and Golden, whered I'd be staying. I wouldn't say I ordered too much because you can never have enough, but I did order quite a bit. They were so patient with me as I made all the important truffle making decisions. BTW I highly recommend the pistachio eclair.
Annie Z — Google review
The chocolates are pretty but super overpriced. We got 8 different flavors and we could barely taste anything but the chocolate. I also got a chocolate covered pretzel (not worth it) and an almond lace cookie (this was just okay). We also got a few macarons, which were pretty good. But it really says something about a chocolate place where the non chocolate items taste better than the actual chocolate.
Alice H — Google review
All the desserts and chocolate truffles looked great. We tried Tiramisu, which was amazing, and Pistachio Eclair, which didn't really excite me, even though I love pistachio desserts. The atmosphere of the store was nice, and the service was very pleasant. The prices are higher, but that probably won't surprise you in downtown Boulder. Yeah, try it!

They had good food and the options were nice. The line wasn’t long but also was not quick. The staff was all friendly though. Great place if you want to be able to easily customize your burrito or bowl. The price to add queso to the item was more than I expected.

The vibe inside was nice---seemed like a college hangout for a quick meal. Service was nice and quick. Food was so-so. It didn't stand out compared to what you'd expect at Chipotle but was tasty. A chicken burrito bowl was ~$10 and not a huge portion---just the right size to be full but not stuffed for a simple lunch.

Came to Boulder Co to visit my old friends and get a tour at the University of Boulder . This place is their favorite for fast food Mexican and I am clueless why :) Upon entering the place you can smell old burnt oil and that smell gets worse inside . The tables and chairs/boot seats were dirty and sticky . Why cant you clean it once in a while ? The food was mediocre and expensive considering the portion size. Cute thing was a separate bar area that gave this hole in a wall a little face lift. Maybe its a late night spot when you are not so sensitive about smells and table cleanliness :))

Stella's Cucina, located in the former space of Walnut Brewery, offers a multi-sensory dining experience with its modern Italian cuisine, Art Deco-inspired decor, live music, and a dance floor that opens on select nights. The restaurant is known for its house-made tagliolini pasta with Colorado lamb ragu and an extensive wine selection from Sardinia.
We dined at Stella's Cucina last night and we had an outstanding experience! The dining room is beautiful and intimate. I had expected a very loud meal, but the design absorbs noise and allows you to enjoy a conversation with your table, which is saying a lot- they had live music which was lovely and the right volume. The service was exceptional- our server was attentive, gave great recommendations and anticipated our needs beautifully. We tried many dishes and were impressed by the freshness and brightness of dishes that are typically heavy. The portions are not huge, which I appreciate- I loved the use of the right amount of high quality ingredients. The short rib, risotto and the sea bass were all great. The broccolini was a star with the crispy parmesan and basil oil. As someone who appreciates fine dining, I'd recommend Stella's to fellow foodies! Oh, as an extra, the chef even visited our table.

Nice venue hidden from Walnut street in Boulder, CO. Good ambience helped by live music. Our minestrone soup, lamb chops, octopus and creme brulee were very nice, but the pasta dish was bland. Definitely worth the try, but would recommend skipping the pasta. Service was attentive.

Excellent experience from the atmosphere to the service to the food. Beautiful presentation. The risotto ai funghi plate looked like a whimsical forest floor carpeted with berries and mushrooms. Met Stella and learned about her special touches to the menu, including incorporating her own peach jam. If visiting Boulder and looking for a nice place to eat, visiting this restaurant is a must.
Ashley A — Google review
We had a truly excellent experience here on a recent visit. Our expectations were already quite high, because it's an expensive dinner. I can say that it went beyond. First of all, every single thing we ate had marvelous presentation and was delicious. I included a photo of the steak on a salt block, before they took it in the back to cut it for us, and the salad. My own choice was sea bass and I loved it. We each had a cocktail from the interesting menu. My espresso martini was ridiculously good. We ended up sitting at the bar, and the bartender who was serving us was extremely pleasant. The general atmosphere was vibrant and warm. I can't think of a single thing to criticize, so I'll just end it there and recommend this place for special occasions.

I love the whole experience of eating at Stella’s. It is authentic Italian, delicious and service is extremely good. I especially recommend you go in your birthday they gift you this amazing lavender panna cotta. The tiramisu was spectacular too!
Val — Google review
My family and I went out to eat here and were disappointed by the food. The drinks were phenomenal, martinis done well, lovely wine list, and an espresso martini to die for. We started with the tartare and their version of a ceasare salad. The portion were small but both were flavorful, the tartare taking the spotlight. Then we ate the lamb, the truffle risotto, and sea bass. Lamb had practically no flavor, a good bass of potato and yummy lamb, but incredibly bland, for $50. The risotto was tasty, but even with some more salt would have been more enjoyable. The portion for this was on the smaller side, and tasty, but didn’t wow me for almost $40. Sea bass was a bit better but again, nothing to wow. For a Michelin recommendation I did not feel as stunned by any of the food, especially for the price. Maybe we should have ordered a few different items but again, disappointing. The staff were all lovely, friendly and attentive. The cocktails are made with precision and I enjoyed the wine I got with the meal.
Klara J — Google review
I LOVE this place. The service is impeccable. They remember their regulars, greet us with warmth, and give little perks. They change the menu frequently and I was so sad then they removed the Truffle Beef Tartare - it was hands down the best tartare I’ve ever had AND one of the best dishes. Ever. I would do anything to have that back on the menu. Even if it’s just a “call back menu” of the locals favorites or something like that… as long as it includes that dish. I have dreams about it. SO GOOD!! The current tartare is still pretty good. 😌 The pistachio crème brûlée is also a 🏆 🍮
Kayla O — Google review
Overall, it's a nice, fun atmosphere. We came here for our 1-year wedding anniversary and probably won't be back The food was interesting, but nothing left us feeling particularly satisfied. Also, when they ask for your allergies, list ALL of them. Because they leave some pretty key ingredients off their menu... I can't have cured ham because I will have an allergic reaction, so I don't order things with ham in them, no big deal. The braised short rib apparently has some kind of cured ham in it, which was not at all what I would have thought. It was also covered in such a sweet, sticky BBQ sauce you couldn't really taste the meat... The fresh pasta was the standout. Truly well made and tasy. Excellent flavors without being overwhelming. Cocktails were all very good and felt unique in a way that feels like you can't replicate it at home Also, this sounds kind of silly, but this is the first place we have been to for a very special occasion that didn't provide even a small little complimentary dessert or even a tiny thimble of champagne. The audience of this restaurant is.. interesting. Started off with a mix of business folks and others out for a late night fancy meal, and then transitioned to a bunch of well-off college students in sweatshirts. They were well-behaved enough, just an odd shift to watch!

Snooze, an A.M. Eatery, is a popular and vibrant chain known for its creative breakfast and lunch options as well as cocktails. The trendy restaurant has a seasonal menu with countless options to choose from, including customizable combinations. From various egg styles to sweet pancakes and French toasts, Snooze offers something for everyone's taste buds. Located on Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, this Colorado-based chain is a must-visit spot for brunch enthusiasts despite the potential wait times.
I needed a solid breakfast to fuel my day before a full day of job interviews, and Snooze was even better than I hoped! I was able to get two cage free eggs that were light and fluffy, excellent hash browns and bacon, and the surprise was they let you sub out hash browns or toast for one of their specialty pancakes. I opted for the pineapple upside down cake, and it was delicious, with a light cream and cinnamon on top. I would like to return to try all the others. Shelby was genuinely nice and on top of everything I needed which really made the whole experience top notch.

We absolutely loved this spot! While driving through Boulder on our way to Estes Park, we stumbled upon this charming little gem. The service was warm and welcoming, and the food blew us away. The fresh juices were bursting with flavor, and the oat milk lattes—though a bit on the small side—were fantastic. The pancake flight was such a fun and creative idea, with each flavor more delicious than the last. The greens & grain bowl was packed with flavor, and the garden harvest omelette was equally satisfying. A perfect stop we’re glad we didn’t miss!

We visited the Boulder location for breakfast and everything—from the upbeat vibe to the creative menu—was spot on. What a great experience, the food was absolutely awesome and the service was very friendly and welcoming. It was a little busy which sometimes meant the service lagged but overall our server was super sweet and attentive. My mother is very allergic to shellfish so I always worry about servers blowing it off. But the server we had not only asked about the allergy but clarified that she would make sure there was no contamination! This is so appreciated!

Loved the first meal so much, we went back the next day. Shrimp and Grits were amazing as were the Eggs Benedict. But whatever you do, order a strawberry shortcake pancake as a side (one large pancake) - oh my! Our server, SHELBY, was reason enough to make us come back, so charming and friendly!

My daughter and I were trying to find a brunch restaurant on 3 Aug 2025 and discovered this one via Google search. And since I've never visited the infamous Pearl Street area, we thought this would be a good time to do so, after we get some much-needed sustenance prior to walking around. We arrived a little later in the afternoon so when we walked in, it wasn't too crowded...which was a good thing because I wanted to have a quiet(er) Dad-Daughter time. We were greeted nicely by the hostess on shift (I didn't catch her name but kudos to the one working that position on the day we arrived ~2:30 pm). The service here was impeccable...provided initially by the hostess, all the way to our primary server, Gladelfa. In fact, speaking of Gladelfa, she was outstanding! She was highly attentive, professional, and extremely friendly - all quality traits! The restaurant's décor was nice which enabled a warm, yet vibrant feeling during our dining experience. The tables and chairs were adequate; they were comfortable enough and I had enough elbow room while eating. Yes, I have been to restaurants where the tables were so tiny that I struggled with moving things around, including my arms. We ordered the Egg White Garden Harvest Omelet with Hash Browns (instead of the Parmesan-Dressed Greens), Strawberry Shortcake Pancakes, side of Bacon, side of the Polidori Sausage Links, Strawberry Lavender Lemonade, and Coffee. The omelet and pancakes were divine, and the hash browns were perfect (I loved the presentation). The bacon and sausage were adequate; the bacon could've been cooked longer in my opinion, but it was still scrumptious...and I can honestly say that I've had better sausage. I took a sip of my daughter's mocktail and it was refreshing...which was surprising because I'm not a lemonade kind of guy. And finally, the coffee was splendid (roast and temperature). Overall, I loved my initial visit here as depicted in my 5-star rating. The price-to-quantity/quality ratio was superb and I highly respect this business for their support to the men and women of the Armed Forces, including its Veterans - thank you for that! I know that my former self would've grumbled with the quantity because I've been to restaurants that serve massive amounts of food and that was my go-to type of restaurants; however, as I got older, I realized how much food us Americans eat and let's just say this restaurant does it right. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll be sure to stop in because this restaurant was something else! I know my daughter will most likely stop in again since she's attending CU Boulder. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! Note: I recently noticed we have this restaurant in my home city of Las Vegas so I'll have to go check it out one day.

I had walked by here several times over the years while enjoying the energy and commotion of the Pearl Street Mall, and I decided to finally enter and indulge. The cavernous interior is greatly appreciated, as the restaurant becomes quite crowded quite early. Everything is brightly colorful, and the restaurant exudes a confident and playful personality: not brash but still charming and distinctive. I appreciate the names of the food on the menu, which can be things like "Awesome Vegan Banana Pancakes" and others in the same voice and register. The restaurant effectively communicates a loose, carefree atmosphere while still being serious when delivering delicious food. The "Eggs Benedict Verde" with green chili is particularly delightful.

The best diner in town! I love their “OMG! French Toast”, the name describes perfectly how you feel after trying it. They are fluffy, spongy, sweet, filled with mascarpone. Topped with caramel and fresh strawberry. I order half size which it was enough for me. Mmh delicious 🤤!! Plus, ordered a side of hash brown and scrambled eggs. Highlight the hash brown because it’s a great portion and not too grilled, so it doesn’t get completely dry. Server was nice and attentive, as well as the entire crew. Everyone was friendly and available to help you asap. Definitely would come back! 💛

Breakfast restaurant
Foolish Craig's Cafe is a popular and quirky spot located on Pearl Street in Boulder. It has been serving delicious breakfast, brunch, and lunch since 1998. While it is known for its extensive selection of crepes, the menu also offers other options such as omelets, housemade breads, salads, soups, and sandwiches. The cafe features a full bar to cater to all your brunch cocktail needs.
Fantastic menu filled with comfort food. The melted Brie was especially amazing. They were great with gluten free and nut free food as well. So good we ate here twice in two days.

Although a very fun place to eat, we wanted to sit in a booth to be comfortable because we knew we would hang out for quite a while as we often do with one another. However, maybe because it was a full house, the restaurant did not allow only two people in a booth and that was a bit disappointing. We were going to sit at the bar, but noticed the upper level overlooking the downstairs area and chose to sit upstairs. It was after we were seated and ordered our food, that we noticed the noise level was quite dramatic, even though we sat upstairs in the small room overlooking the downstairs area. My delightful, close friend and I were there to celebrate her birthday (and mine as well) and because of the ridiculous noise pitch, we kept saying to the other, what did you say? I ordered a salad with mixed greens and salmon and it was the freshest salad I’ve ever ordered out. And also reasonably priced at $16. because of the nice piece of salmon. My friend ordered a tofu scramble that she enjoyed immensely. Both dishes that were served looked appetizing, artful and inviting to eat. The server was friendly and gave us great service; as soon as we ordered whatever it was, whether it was a glass with ice, she came back to us immediately. The only reason why I gave it three stars instead of five was the incredible noise level.

Foolish Craig’s Café was a great find! Loved seeing locals and travellers alike enjoying their Sunday morning here — it had a lively, welcoming vibe. The menu has plenty of healthy options, and the food was beautifully plated and delicious. Perfect spot for a relaxed weekend breakfast!

Came for brunch on a weekday and waited for a few minutes at the outdoor host stand before having to go inside and locate a server. Got seated in a corner where there shouldn’t really be a table, as my wife was continuously bumped into by staff and customers alike. Our server was not very friendly, and when my wife asked her to add bacon a few minutes after we placed our order, she dropped it off shortly after by itself, which was not ideal, as she wanted it with her meal, not as an appetizer. The food itself was quick and tasty, however, if you’re looking for a place to have conversation, this may not be for you! It was quite loud but eclectically decorated. Loved to see the pride flag!

Amazing brunch place. Very nice vibe and good service. We visited on weekday morning and it was not crowded and got parking right in front as well. The food was amazing. One of the best eggs Benedict I've had. All clean ingredients as well which is nice.

I ate there 16 years ago and finally made it back. I had Ruben with a salad. Ruben had crispy bread, tender meat, good thousand island dressing. Salad dressing was a good ranch. Server was ok. The restaurant seating was a little hard. We ate in a booth inside.

This is a cute café with extensive menu items to pick from. I had the corn beef hash with two eggs and my hubby hat, the chicken fried steak with the Scrambled eggs. We got a side of biscuit and gravy. I’ve declared it the best biscuit and gravy in town! Service was good.

Seafood restaurant
Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar is an upscale seafood chain known for its gourmet dishes and creative cocktails, all served in a relaxed and stylish setting. The restaurant is famous for its lip-smacking oysters, charred octopus, crabcakes, seared scallops, Maine lobster, and cioppino. The chefs are committed to serving sustainable seafood in a land-locked state and have received national acclaim for their efforts.
Review of Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar is a fantastic spot for seafood lovers, offering some of the freshest and most flavorful dishes in town. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the hostess, whose welcoming energy and attentiveness set the tone for a great evening. She was friendly, professional, and made sure we were seated comfortably, making us feel truly valued as guests. The ambiance at Jax is cozy and inviting, perfect for an intimate dinner or a relaxed night out with friends. The food was absolutely wonderful—fresh, well-prepared, and bursting with flavor. The oysters were incredibly fresh, and every dish we tried showcased high-quality ingredients. It’s clear they take great care in sourcing and preparing their seafood. Our waitress was alright—attentive enough, but she didn’t quite match the exceptional service we received from the hostess. A little more warmth and engagement would have elevated the experience even further. That said, the overall dining experience was still enjoyable, thanks to the fantastic food and welcoming atmosphere. If you’re a seafood fan, Jax is definitely worth a visit. The combination of fresh, expertly prepared dishes and a cozy environment makes for a great dining experience. Hopefully, all the staff can match the level of service that the hostess provided, as she truly stood out in making our evening special!

Love going to Jax for fresh seafood and oysters. It never disappoints. They have a small patio area outside for seating and many places inside. This spot is VERY popular so I would make a reservation, and say you'd like outdoor seating if you're interested. It gets easily crowded and loud here. Monday is all day happy hour! Great vibes and great place for dinner.

Great spot in Boulder with a fun vibe and excellent service! The miso spicy mushroom had a nice kick, and the oysters (West and East Coast) were fresh and flavorful. The mussels were generous, and the blue crab artichoke dip was a standout. Pair it all with their excellent wine selection. Highly recommend!

Excellent all around. The calamari was the best I have ever had, so fresh juicy and tender with the most excellent crispy exterior. I am just ordering 3 serving of that next time I go.

Our waiter was great. However, the greeter, the tall blonde guy, seated us by the restrooms even though we had a reservation and there were empty tables all around. The food was too salty. Portions were small, and not that good.

We visited Boulder for two nights and loved Jax Fish House and Oyster Bar so much we ate there both evenings! From the atmosphere and service to the food, Chef Anthony and his team are just doing everything right. The oysters are fresh and perfect either on the half-shell or grilled. Amongst our group we also tried the ahi tuna (our favorite), salmon, Thai cod, lobster roll and crab pasta. Everything was cooked to perfection and simply delicious. We also shared three deserts and loved them all and don't forget to order the mushrooms as a share for the table! I could not recommend this restaurant more! Make a reservation tho, they are always busy and rightly so!
Bryna S — Google review
Some of the best prepared mussles we've ever had! We had the chorizo version. Our waitress was lovely. A perfect mix of engagement and letting us eat. She also avoided what many current wait staff do. She didn't walk up to the table already talking, which interrupts conversations or makes us miss the first part of what is said.

Stopped in and had a Brisket Sandwich and a PBR. Sweet young blonde girl working the Bar. She was Friendly, The Sandwich was Good. The portion was good. The price was in line. I'd do it again. Give it a go.

This place is beautiful and cozy with great vibes, great views and incredible food. Our server, Mia, went above and beyond to make sure my boyfriend and I were satisfied. Don’t forget to try their homemade sauce - mustardy and spicy deliciousness. Can’t give this place enough praise! Thank you, Mia! ♥️☺️

The shepherds pie was good, but the appetizer (Korean bbq skewer) and side (onion rings) were definitely the best part of the meal. The cocktail was also really good.

Pretty decent bbq spot. Got the burnt ends, brisket platter, smoked artichoke dip, and crispy Brussels. The Brussels were very crispy - too dry. The burnt ends were inconsistent, some were dry and hard and others were buttery and fell apart. The brisket platter was good, it was all too much food. sweet potato fries and slaw were good. Most things were lacking flavor for us. The smoked artichoke dip was the best. The in house chips were great! Our server, Josh, was very nice. He kept closing the door for us since it was very windy and we got cold.

This review is specifically based on my bar experience (no food). November 2025: My husband and I sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks. The bartender was friendly and the barstools were comfortable! I ordered the Old Buffalo from the cocktail menu and got it smoked. It was awesome! I loved the Bourbon and the smoke enhancement. We also met a few people while we were there and we enjoyed the warm, social environment.

I ate the brisket platter. It was tasty. So were the beans, coleslaw, Texas toast & pickles. Bbq sauce was good too.
Burton B — Google review
Korean BBQ skewer was mediocre at best. My fries were a bit over seasoned. My friend did really like the chicken sandwich. Service was good but not exceptional. Ate outside which was quite pleasant! So many options on Pearl St...I feel like you have to really stand out, which this didn't.
Erik F — Google review
The West End Tavern was a pleasant experience with a few hiccups. We quite enjoyed the jalapeno dip, the peppers paired with the cheese so well and the portion size was far better than most other restaurants selling the same item. The fish from the fish and chips was crispy with a tasty batter and the fries were pretty decent. The sticky style chicken sandwich was an interesting take that absolutely had me reaching for the wet naps. It was sweet and crispy with a bit too much apple, overall nice but I don't think I'll go back to it. The kids food is where I question things. Kids are picky, sure, but why is the chicken breast and fries so plain? The service was ok, a bit slow at times and and definitely distracted.

Guests can enjoy the lively atmosphere with various seating options including a front bar, sushi bar, and lounge area. Japango boasts award-winning bartenders who create original cocktails and the largest selection of Japanese whiskeys in the area.
Our server, Juanita, was the sweetest and most attentive person. Her recommendations were spot on. Everything we ate was delicious. We had the Sakai roll and the Kitsune's Kiss (pictured). The Sakura Cherry Blossom tea was perfect.

It is perfectly fine. Happy hour all-day Mondays (although nothing happy about $8 well drinks.) I have been here a few times over the years. I do not think the quality and price match. The two of us recently spent over a hundred on happy hour for a few hand rolls, hamachi, two drinks, and some potstickers. Oh, and one oyster shot. We understand we aren’t necessarily filling up on small bites like this and are paying for speciality food, but I’ve paid less for more and better fish. The ‘specialty roll’ was the most underwhelming of all. Drinks are always yum.
Katherine D — Google review
I've visited this restaurant multiple times before for both lunch and dinner. I even left a review previously because the miso soup was too salty, but I'm glad to see that it seems to have improved now. My husband and I went for a late dinner tonight after working out. However, I believe this will be our last visit. We came out for a change of mood, but it only made us feel worse.🙁 There were several issues today: 1. When the water was poured into my glass, I found a hair. I understand this wasn't intentional, so I tried to overlook it. 2. However, I then found something like a hair in the tuna tempura. At this point, my confidence in your hygiene standards was significantly shaken. I didn't mention it to the server, but I was quite displeased. 3. My husband and I each ordered a main course, and both are supposed to come with miso soup. Yet, only my husband's soup was served. I waited, assuming it would come as part of the set, but it never did until I inquired. It was then served belatedly. 4. The main course rice bowl was placed directly on a plate that was already covered in sauce. Is it proper serving etiquette to place the rice bowl on a sauce-covered plate? 5. The rice itself was partially undercooked, with a mix of soft and hard grains. 6. After finishing our meal, when we tried to sign the bill, the pen didn't work. I feel like this is something that could be checked before bringing it to the customer. Overall, it was a very disappointing dining experience today. I hope to see improvements in your hygiene and service in the future.

The food and service were fantastic! Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to this establishment. We have visited multiple times and are always impressed. Shoutout to our server Matthew for giving us a memorable time! A great variety of food and drinks with a chill environment. I wish I remembered all the different names of the rolls we tried, but I know we had the Diablo, Himalayan, Asparagus, Cucumber, Loch Ness, and Sweet Potato rolls. We had the veggie tempura, Agedashi, house salad, and Miso soup for appetizers. For drinks we tried the plain green tea, Little Monster, Japanese Soda, and some Hot Sake. To finish it off we had a Dessert Bento box with some extra mochi. So delish! Our only complaint on the food was the salads. First off, u must mix the dressings! Second, the complaint, the salad is just lettuce!!! Put some tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, radish, ANYTHING, to freshen it up.
Chris K — Google review
The food was fresh, high quality and imaginative. A special shout out to our server Wyatt! He was so personable and called me by my first name from the open table reservation, when initially greeting us. Wyatt was especially attentive, and executed our gluten free request accurately. Most of all he offered me a very genuine and kind Birthday wish when serving us dessert so much so that it made my girlfriend tear up. There are so many great restaurants in Boulder, but in my opinion service is what sets them apart and Wyatt should be recognized for his hard work, effort and kindness. Thank you Japango for helping us celebrate this last Fish Friday of the Lent season and reeling in an awesome 40th Birthday Celebration.

We dined here for lunch. We ate inside because it was an unusually hot day in Boulder. It was beautifully decorated. The menu had great selections, and the food was delicious and artfully and creatively displayed. The edamame and lobster potsticker appetizers were delicious. My husband and daughter enjoyed their Miso Soup. I had the garden salad which was lovely with the citrus dressing. My Lochness Monster Roll was vegetarian and delicious. My daughter had avocado rolls, her favorite. My husband had the salmon bento box, which he enjoyed. Our server was pleasant, helpful, and efficient. A lovely dining experience. Glad we found it while walking down the street (hungry).
BurningFlame — Google review
Our server was a young guy and he was super great. Staff clearly work together to make sure everybody is happy. Atmosphere is very pleasant, especially for a Monday night (quieter). All that was awesome, and the food IS very tasty. However, my partner and I both got mild cases of food poisoning after eating here. Japango was the only thing we ate that was the same this day, and we ate all the same foods. All was well and a few hours later it was very apparent that we got sick from something we ate - simultaneously. Luckily it wasn’t bad but it is the one and only time I have ever gotten sick from sushi in my life. I feel for the price point there are better places in Boulder that offer fresher and tastier options (TASUKI or AOI to name some favs). I actually really enjoyed my experience at Japango but getting sick was not fun and pretty surprising.
Anna — Google review
Stopped in for happy hour after work. Felt like I was being forced to buy a drink when I just don’t drink at all. The server noticeably changed his tune and took an even more sour note when he took our order including a “that’s it?”. Could hardly get him to come back to the table to order more rolls when we were actually ready for them. Foods good but I don’t care to have someone be passive aggressive when I’m eating a late lunch. I’d rather servers be paid a fair wage than have to upsell every customer on drinks to make a living. Doesnt make for a pleasant dining experience.

The interior is adorned with an eclectic collection of movie props, antiques, and quirky decorations such as fire hydrants, rainbow-painted wagon wheels, and taxidermied buffalo heads. The ceilings are adorned with bicycle wheels and odd trinkets while caricature murals cover the walls.
World famous and I can see why! This place was filled with interesting, bizarre, strange, and very interesting things to look at. It reminded me of a slight version of Meow Wolf as being a visual interactive experience. My husband and I were looking for a place to get a burger, play some pool, and have a beer and genuine good time; and boy did we find the right place!
Analilian S — Google review
Stopped in Dark Horse after hiking nearby since we heard such great things about this dive bar. We absolutely loved the vibe of the place - so cool and everything being self serve was nice too. I got a cheeseburger and it was okay. Not bad, not great. The fries were pretty bland and the ranch wasn’t my favorite. My friends got the chicken wings which they absolutely loved. It was very inexpensive which I appreciated. If I ever found myself visiting Boulder again, I’d consider trying something else!
Ariana L — Google review
Go for the wings! I like that they're whole too and not shy on the sauce. Good prices. They DO NOT allow dogs on the patio so just keep that in mind. Kitchen cashier did not seem like they wanted to be there 😂 but I get it. Kitchen, on the other hand, seemed like they were having a great time and they served up some good food. Also had a burger; not the best in town but it was solid enough for me to eat the whole thing and for $9 I'm not going to complain. Still thinking about the wings though! Nice atmosphere of course.

I used to go here almost every Tuesday for burger madness when I lived in Boulder. Love the interior and burgers and fries are great. Met friends for lunch to reminisce. It wasn't crowded like it used to be, but the food is still good and still love the atmosphere!

Don’t go if you want someone to come take your order and bring you your food/drinks. 😂 Love the atmosphere! Food was very reasonable and came up fast, even though we were there during dinner on a weeknight. Fries were delicious and my blue cheese burger was perfectly cooked. Why on Earth any of these building developers would demolish this place out blows my mind. This has been a boulder staple forever and it is truly amazing and unique. Especially with the Sundance film festival coming to town, This has the perfect movie-like environment.

Mexican restaurant
T/aco is a popular spot in the Pearl Street Mall area of Downtown Boulder, known for its creative tacos and tequila-spiked cocktails served in a trendy setting adorned with Old West wall art. The restaurant has garnered attention for its departure from traditional taqueria models, focusing instead on delivering high-quality and innovative menu items. T/aco offers an extensive selection of tacos featuring various fillings such as classic carne asada, red snapper, and vegetable medley.
Service was a hundred stars! We had to make very last minute changes to our plans and T/aco was more than accommodating. Our group of seven were immediately seated, they put my son’s cake in their fridge which they later served to us, and helped us hang some decorations. Unfortunately all the food had been eaten by the time we took the picture but we had a platter full of multiple kinds of tacos and some appetizers. I photoshopped the glasses and stuff on the table and the stuff in the background so you could see the cake and decorations. This was important because it shows the effort they all made for our special memory and we were stuffed with fresh flavor packed deliciousness! Thank you to the whole staff and manager as this was last minute and on graduation weekend, even though we were Rams in Buffalo country. Great food, amazing staff, and wonderful atmosphere. When we come back to CO, we’ll be back!

If you’re in Boulder, you have to stop by T/aco! Their tacos are absolutely amazing—packed with flavor and perfectly made—and the margaritas are just as incredible. The customer service is truly 5-star; every single staff member made us feel welcome and taken care of. The vibe is perfect too, with a mix of indoor seating (including a lively bar) and outdoor seating that’s ideal for soaking up those gorgeous Boulder days or enjoying a cool evening. What really sets T/aco apart is the people. The owner personally came by our table several times to check on us and even brought over a complimentary sauce for us to try. But the moment that completely won us over? As we were finishing lunch, we noticed a homeless man sitting near the entrance. Before we could even offer to buy him a meal, the owner walked out with a burrito and a drink for him—no hesitation, just genuine kindness. Businesses like this deserve our support! T/aco isn’t just serving up incredible food; they’re making a difference. Don’t miss it next time you’re in Boulder!

Love this place! The most delicious tacos in town at a super affordable price. Great outdoor patio. Awesome staff.

The food here is better and more interesting (and better priced) than other Pearl Street/Downtown Boulder restaurants I’ve been to recently, and there is a lot of choice on the menu whether you eat meat or you’re vegetarian. I thought the fish tacos in particular were really tasty. And, the host and waitstaff clearly have a focus on providing friendly and attentive service. The only downside I noticed was how loud it was inside the restaurant, which made it hard to talk, but I think the noise level is probably pretty typical of restaurants and bars in the area. It’s just lively and busy as opposed to quiet and cozy. Would definitely check out Taco Tuesday if I’m in the area!

Absolutely love this place! I have been coming to T/aco for taco Tuesdays with friends for years, and have always had a blast. Recently, I came here with my family to celebrate my doctorate and we could not have received better service! The food/drinks were wonderful and the staff were incredibly attentive and kind. The vibe and atmosphere are also great, whether on a hot summers day or under the heaters on a fall evening. All in all, it was a great evening and I would absolutely recommend T/aco. The guacamole and cotija cheese tacos are my favorites!

In town for a visit and this was on my list to try. We came during happy hour which was nice. I got the strawberry house margarita as my drink, which was excellent. We started with their house made chips and their salsa and guacamole. Their chipotle salsa was pretty good and the mild was to liquid. I got the duck taco and the pork taco, I really like the flavors of the duck one. My boyfriend got the fish which was delicious They give you a lot of meat on each one. Definitely recommend to people.
Carmela B — Google review
Food was excellent. Outstanding taste and it's the type of place where you'd want order seconds although you're already full. The presentation of the food was visually creative and pleasing. Care was obviously taken with regard to how the food was placed on the plate. For example, we ordered 9 tacos and they were all presented on one board without touching or being sloppy. The variety of sauces (the pack with nachos) is creative and tastes good. The guacamole was outstanding i taste as well. Attention to details are important for this restaurant in terms of the taste of their food and service. Service was 5-stars. Friendly and engaging staff. Attentive to your needs and frequent check-ins to ensure your satisfaction. Options to eat indoors or outside. Atmosphere is cozy and what you would expect for a restaurant near a university campus. The food is so good that I would definitely return! 5-stars!

If your okay with spending a lot of money for a little food it’s your place. Their street tacos were so small and cost more then there competitors. We thought we were getting queso with chips for an appetizer but the chips cost extra. What’s up with that. Our waiter was good. To get satisfied for a dinner yo would have to order six tacos, and that would cost $30.00 and no courtesy chips like most Mexican restaurants. Their Margaritas were good and reasonable. If your in a hurry that’s a plus too.

Tasty food at a reasonable price in downtown Boulder. The chicken noodle soup is my all-time favorite. I also appreciate the built-in service fee, which removes the pressure of tipping decisions and makes the dining experience smoother and more convenient.

Zoe Ma Ma is a great spot for a flavorful and satisfying meal. We tried the Dan Dan noodles and the pork belly with rice, and both dishes were packed with great flavor. The noodles had just the right amount of spice and richness, while the pork belly was tender and paired perfectly with the rice. Portions were generous, and everything felt fresh and well-prepared. It’s the kind of place that hits the spot when you’re craving something hearty and comforting.

My husband and I shared: - Dan Dan Main - Cold Sesame Noodles - Pork Belly Bao - Roast Duck Bao - Pearl Meatball - Ma Ma's Potstickers - Vegan Dumplings - Goji Berry & Raisin Rice Cake I found this spot to be a little inconsistent. I absolutely loved the Goji Berry & Raisin Rice Cake, Pearl Meatball, both baos, and the potstickers. These could complete with the best Asian food I've had anywhere. The bigger dishes were a little disappointing to me. They weren't bad, but they weren't nearly as good as the smaller plates for me. I'd still happily come back to try the rest of the menu.

I tried Zoe Ma Ma in Boulder and ordered the chicken pho it was pretty good! The broth on its own was okay, but the toppings and seasonings you can add yourself really made it better. I also got the dumplings, but they weren’t as good as I was expecting. The service was okay, though it took quite a while for my order to be ready. Just a heads-up when you come in, you order at the counter, pick your own seat, and they’ll call your name when your food is ready. Overall, not bad for a casual spot, but a few things could’ve been better.

Tasty food at a reasonable price right on Pearl. I love the menu's simplicity which is based on the owner's mom's signature Taiwanese recipes. I also love that it's served on simple plates. It lets the food speak for itself. Super yummy. We ordered the Stir-fry Garlic Choy Sum and added chicken to it and the Pork Belly Bao and Roast Duck Bao. It wasn't too busy when we went, but I could see it getting crowded.
Tierney K — Google review
I ordered the Dan Dan Mian which was good. The forced 15% tip was very disappointing since you order like a fast food place here. Counter order and they don’t even bring your food or silverware to your table.
Alec G — Google review
Wow! What a unique take on the traditional Chinese food! There's no sweet and sour chicken here! I had no idea about Chinese curry and many of the other delicious items on the menu. We also loved that they don't charge extra for tips like most places do now. The service was great, the place was clean, and the food was delicious.

We got the duck wonton soup, the Lu Ro Fan, and the pot stickers. The wonton soup broth was not as salty/umami as I would have liked, but the duck was tender and the wontons were yummy. The rice dish was tasty. We both were unimpressed with the potstickers. The service was very nice and informative on recommendations. The interior is also very nice.

Bohemian Biergarten is a spacious Czech-style gastro-pub in Boulder, offering an extensive selection of Bavarian beers and traditional German dishes. The venue hosts live music, comedy nights, and dance events featuring DJs and live bands. Situated near Hotel Boulderado, it provides an authentically European atmosphere for patrons to enjoy stand-up comedy and karaoke.
Incredible experience. We live in Houston and it’s wonderful to see a well-oiled machine such as this restaurant. It was graduation week for CU and the staff, kitchen, management, and hosts were all 100 on point. Peter was an attentive server and Collin, the assistant GM was one of the most helpful staff members I’ve ever encountered. Moved mountains to get us a more accommodating reservation slot. Big ups to Bohemian Biergarten.

Walking into Bohemian Biergarten felt like stepping back in time to 1600s Germany. The atmosphere has a wonderful European feel, complete with an authentic ambiance. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was prompt and friendly. It's a great spot to bring the whole family, and the kids will love the unique experience.

Fantastic food and service! We had a group of 12 people, including 2 children and everything was wonderful. We tried many appetizers and entrees. It was all absolutely delicious! 10/10 recommend! Peter C was our waiter and he was so responsive and pleasant. Great experience all around! (Sorry to not have posted pics of food, we demolished it as soon as it arrived)

Came to Boulder for the Gt football game. My wife and I sat at the bar and were served by the bartender Brian, who was excellent. The restaurant was packed and he was very busy but took a great interest in suggesting beer and next beer pairing. My wife had the Burrata, it was great. I had the Reuben, great choice. All out beer choices were delicious, Volksbier Vienna, Weihstephaner Hefeweissbier, and the Dunkle.

We stopped in Boulder on our way to Estes Park and decided to give the Bohemian Biergarten a try. It was a Tuesday and cold and rainy so the area was pretty empty where I am sure it’s usually full of shoppers. We were seated after waiting a few minutes for someone to come from the back. The server/host was friendly and recommended the daily sausage which was delicious. The fries it came with were hot and had good flavor. I normally like to have Pom Frites at similar establishments but they didn’t have them on the menu. They were relatively empty while we were there due to the weather and how early in the day we were there but the atmosphere I am sure is lively most of the time. We would definitely return.

I went with my mom the other day, they Honey Bite beer/cider I had was delicious! We also had some deviled eggs which were delicious! My mom didn't love those as much because she doesn't like the more mustard-y deviled eggs, but I thought they were amazing! The bar tender was super friendly and attentive, he was so busy flying between everyone. He said this current version of Honey Bite was with a different cider than they normally use? (I think semi-sweet but I'm forgetting) and the combo of the cider, Pauline hefeweizen, and Honey on top? Fantastic! (And side note I love the colorful bricks on the side of the building)

Efrain's of Boulder Mexican Restaurant is a hidden gem known for its Northern Chihuahua cuisine, featuring flavorful chili verde and refreshing margaritas. Located on the outskirts of Boulder, this restaurant has gained a reputation as the go-to spot for authentic Mexican food in Boulder County. Efrain's prides itself on serving freshly made dishes daily, steering clear of chain-like practices.
Incredible chili verde. Like best I’ve ever had. Spicy, tangy, and the pork is lean and flavorful. Wouldn’t change a thing. 🌶️

So my waiter suggested something different on the menu from what I was trying to order and gave me exactly what I wanted to a T. As im not easy to just give in being a picky eater I had him explain the preparation in each dish and in the end he was right. I was super thankful in this moment cuz I got to enjoy my meal right away without something being wrong what ever it may be. The mango margarita literally taste like a fresh mango! I got the combo meal with two chicken enchiladas with pork green chili and rice ! And cheese dip to put on the rice and eat with the chips! So good..gota try! Good atmosphere too with outdoor and indoor seating!
Lisaa B — Google review
In town for the week and this was exactly what I was looking for for dinner. Efrain’s Burrito was fantastic (with the chile verde of course!). I might be back before the week’s out.
Tristan P — Google review
Supremely disappointing. Quesadilla was uncut, has melted cheese on top instead of inside, as well as all the salad toppings on top making it soggy. Street tacos were saturated in oil. Fajitas were essentially steamed and wet, and meat was very tough and unseasoned. Staff is apathetic. No offer for discount. How the hell is this place still in business?
Tasha B — Google review
Efrain's of Boulder is fantastic. The food is very delicious and genuinely authentic Mexican. Every dish I tried was packed with flavor. It is clear they use fresh ingredients and traditional recipes. If you are looking for real, high-quality Mexican food in the area, this is the place to go. Simple as that. A great meal and highly recommended.

We LOVE Efrain’s! They always hit the spot with their delicious fajitas, tostadas, and enchiladas! My husband and I eat here once a week, and it never disappoints. It can be pretty busy on a Friday or Saturday night, but we’ve never waited all that long on busier evenings. The service is always top-notch and everyone is very friendly and kind. I also love that they keep the chips and salsa coming! I absolutely love their Boulder Margarita, and they have about 15+ different selections of margaritas to choose from so everyone is happy! My favorite meal is the chicken fajitas. You will not be disappointed-they give you a massive portion with lots of delicious guacamole, beans, rice, and sour cream to enjoy your fajitas with, which I really enjoy. Best fajitas in Boulder hands down. My husband loves their blue corn enchiladas. I would also like to mention that they are gluten free conscious, and have many items that are 100% gluten free to choose from! This is a Boulder gem of a restaurant!

Visited this restaurant on our way back from Rocky Mountain National Park. I thought this going to be mediocre food. Easy access from road, staffs are so nice, very neat place. We ordered Efrain ( super delicious, must try, very big plate), beef burrito ( spicy and delicious, they can adjust the spice), beef chimichanga ( best one we had), vegetarian taco( so tasty, spicy lovers ask for more, their sauce is very tasty). This is one of the best Mexican food we had, its not Tex-Mex, if you are passing through Denver or Boulder definitely try this place. Not at all expensive, quantity is really good. We will definitely try for our next visit.
Traveling S — Google review
Flavorful southwestern cuisine (of course, from the Mexican perspective, it's northwestern). Delicious chilis, shredded chicken. The food can be as hot as you wanted to be, depending on your taste. Enjoy the flavors of the dishes, which are strong but not overwhelming. I enjoyed the delicious blue corn tortillas at the base of my dish. Even the chips they provide for the tables as a starter are quite thick and substantial, paired with liquidity salsa that has a bit of heat to it. The walls gleam with the distinctive turquoise and gold colors of the Southwest, and pottery and baskets from the region line the shelves. There is the overall sense that this restaurant seems uniquely committed to the customer experience, from the food to the overall ambience. If you like southwestern food even a little, come here and you will not be disappointed.

Very good sandwich made of quality ingredients. A little over priced but it is in Boulder. Bread was delicious and not to hard or too soft. They had a great selection of meat and cheese in addition to convenient grab and go sandwiches. Overall very positive experience

Stalked their IG faithfully during the Pandemic. The boards and ingredients always looked incredible and as soon as they posted they were open we made the trek up from Pueblo with our chilly bin for some charcuterie treats! Service was amazing and I was told a story about cheese mongers singing to cows on more than one occasion. Which was a true delight! Just the human interaction was a delight! And they made you feel warm and welcome. No cheese snobbery to be found anywhere!

We ordered charcuterie boards from Dedalus for our wedding reception and our guests would not stop raving about them. They looked amazing, they tasted amazing - so much so that multiple people sent me photos and texted me about the incredible selection. And Cooper and the Dedalus team were hands down some of the most helpful vendors I got to work with. If you’re looking for a beautiful, delicious, professional catering option, get these charcuterie boards!

Amazing charcuterie plate. I ordered the charcuterie plate for the first time yesterday and it was worth every penny! I requested to have the cheese and meat to be separated due to an allergy and they were super accommodating. I also wrote a note asking to add an alpine cheese and they did! and it happened to also be my favorite cheese . I was so impressed with the aesthetics of the platter too :) they added some fresh 🌸 flowers and super fresh fruits. The cheeses and meat came in a to go boxes but as soon as I transferred the goodies on a cheese platter it looked even more delicious. Highly recommend getting this platter from them :)

I'm on a business trip last July 2023. Had our happy hour in Rayback Collective. Love the place, the indoor and outdoor options to socialize is a big plus. Food was awesome, especially the beers and coffee. Happy hours indeed!

We hosted our rehearsal dinner and welcome party at The Rayback, and it was absolutely incredible! The location was perfect — relaxed, fun, and so uniquely Boulder. We rented a private section inside (just part of the room) for a very affordable rate, and it worked out perfectly. We had a dedicated server for our area who was incredibly sweet and attentive, and the bartenders were just as friendly and welcoming. The management team was fantastic to work with — so responsive, organized, and flexible. They even let us set up a welcome drink and do a tasting beforehand, which was such a thoughtful touch and helped us feel confident leading up to the big weekend. We were initially a little unsure about reserving only part of the space since we had about 50 people at the rehearsal dinner and more than 200 guests come through for the welcome party. But the Rayback team was right — the venue is so spacious and well laid out that it never felt crowded or chaotic. Everyone had an amazing time, and the energy of the space made it the perfect spot to kick off our wedding weekend. The food trucks were also a huge hit, especially for guests who arrived after the rehearsal dinner and wanted something to eat. And for the families that joined us, the open outdoor space gave the little ones plenty of room to run and play, which made it comfortable and fun for everyone. We stayed until close because no one wanted to leave — that’s how much fun it was! We can’t recommend The Rayback enough for any celebration or group event. They truly helped make our weekend unforgettable.

Grateful to finally get a chance to try this place now that I work nearby! My favorite beverage is the Guava Rose Corpse Reviver electrolyte drink! I like my drinks with no alcohol content, nourishing, and low sugar so this was on point. As for food, on this particular day I tried the Passport Food Truck who had veggie options. I had the Black Bean tofu 🫘 🌶️and *chef’s kiss*💋 🤌🏾 it hit the spot for this present moment and what I was looking for.

Our serving staff for our drinks was amazing. We booked the Rayback tent area on the North side. We truly appreciated being treated so well and enjoyed our personalized drinks. The space itself is fun and spacious, and allowed us to enjoy our family and friends for a short time after our wedding ceremony. The staff was equally amazing. They were professional, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure we were happy. Communication throughout the planning process was smooth and reassuring, and on the day of, the team worked hard to make sure everyone had a drink

The Rayback was the absolute best place for my daughter’s rehearsal dinner ! Bailey and Brittany were phenomenal!! I can’t thank them enough for making a once in a lifetime event so memorable.
Milinda C — Google review
We’ve been to the Rayback many times, and so it seemed a natural fit for one evening of my husband’s family reunion. We rented part of the back room, and everyone had a great time with the diverse food truck offerings and drink options (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), plus they created lovely table signs for us based on a picture and some text we provided. A great experience all around! Thank you to everyone who helped make the night a success!
Christine M — Google review
My husband and I hosted our rehearsal dinner/welcome reception for our wedding at the Rayback and had such a wonderful time, largely in part due to the thorough planning and communication from the operations manager (Brittany K) who helped us along the way ensure no details were missed. Our guests had such a wonderful time with the indoor-outdoor nature of the venue and it was awesome to see both a dedicated space for us to set up inside the venue as well as see guests circled around the fire together outside. We appreciate how affordable the space is to rent for a private event, and how many options for space rentals there are for any size of guest count you may have, and appreciated as well that you can bring in outside food for private events. The drink ticket system worked great for us and it was very easy to request more tickets when we hit the limit on our tab early into the night. The one difficult thing about this location is parking, and if you have an event on a CU Boulder football game day, that issue is further exacerbated and guests will have to park further away. In all, we loved hosting our event here and plan to be back soon! Thank you again!!

Easily one of my favorite restaurants in Colorado. I randomly stumbled upon this location when I lived near the Boulder area in 2019. I now live out of state but will easily travel out of my way to make it for a meal here when I’m in the area. I can remember doing takeout multiple times a week to support them during covid. I’ve always received speedy service & the food is always delicious. The sweet chili glazed sweet potatoes are seriously my favorite side along with their mac & cheese. I’ll always be a fan & it’s a refreshing place to receive whole foods & fresh ingredients.

My friends and I decided to stop in for an early dinner. I'm gluten, dairy and soy free but a carnivore and two others are vegan. The cashier was knowledgeable about food allergens, there were no issues with cross contamination. My friend who doesn't have food allergies got the gluten free Mac and cheese and enjoyed it. I had the Peruvian braised beef without the salsa and I also tasted the cauliflower risotto and chili sesame sweet potatoes. I also had the lemon olive oil cupcake and the sangria that had guava. We all enjoyed our meals and this is a great place to keep in mind of you have food sensitivities, are a carnivore, vegan or vegetarian.

Absolutely delicious! Menu notes if dish is vegan, vegetarian or GF for every item. I got the glow bowl, cauliflower kung pow and a beer. I would eat this these dishes every day they were so good! The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the service feels genuine. It’s one of those places where you leave feeling good about what you ate and the overall experience. Definitely one of my go-to favorites in Boulder!

I'm a regular at Flower Child and usually have a good experience with the food. Unfortunately, yesterday's experience was not great. I was surprised by how quickly our food came out but then I realized why. I ordered the Forbidden Rice bowl with chicken and the vegetables were completely raw- hard, crunchy, not cooked at all. Broccoli, carrots, pea pods, etc. The chicken looked like it had been placed on top and did not seem to be part of the dish. I am sure there is lots of staff turnover in the kitchen, so perhaps someone hadn't been trained to make this dish.
Rebecca A — Google review
Ordered at the counter. The staff let me see there for over 20 minutes waiting for my food before I decided to check the online ordered table. This was not an online order, and everyone else got their names called and their food brought out. Once I got home and opened my food, I discovered that I spent over $20 on 2 bites of salmon thrown into cold mashed potatoes looks like it’s been sitting out for several hours. Disgusted and disappointed

The venue features various food hall-style concepts, including New Yorkese pizza, burgers from Rooted Craft Kitchen, and sandwiches from Rye Society. Additionally, visitors can enjoy cocktails and beer while taking in the picturesque surroundings. The establishment's rooftop serves as an ideal setting for special occasions such as weddings, adding an enchanting touch to the dining experience.
This is my first time in Boulder. My boyfriend and I, we only had drinks. My drink was a peach margarita, whereas his was a mojito. They both tasted delicious. They have a diverse cocktail selection, and the bartender gave us a recommendation; he was really nice and helpful. And the vista is breathtaking! I wish I could have gone there at night; it would have been fantastic. Unfortunately, the outdoor seats were all taken when we went, but the indoor view was beautiful, with views of the mountains. Bustling modern food court with lots of options. Great for a group with varied tastes. We got food from three vendors - Peko Peko, Boychik and Quiero Arepas. My daughter’s fave was the fried plantains either cheese from Quiero Arepas while mine was the fried cauliflower salad from Boychik. Upstairs patio was partially closed for a private event so we sat downstairs.

This is a review for the NYC Pizzeria. This pizza is (intentionally) overcooked. The outer crust is burnt. The bottom crust isn’t much better. NY style pizza is supposed to fold nicely with a tiny bit of flop, but this pizza cracks in half when folded. I’m personally not a fan of crunchy pizza… I recommend Crosscut in Nederland. Not necessarily NY style, but way better pizza and the view is fantastic. On a positive note, the staff is very friendly, the atmosphere is cool and the price is fair for Boulder I guess.

While in Denver for the International Chiefs of Police Conference, our Oregon delegation gathered here for an informal time of food, drink, and conversation. It was the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed evening for approximately 60 of our association members and guests. One of the guests commented that it felt like we were gathering in someone's living room. The food and drink were great, and the options varied enough for everyone's tastes. The service could not have been better. I'd like to give a shout out to three of the staff that helped to make our event seamless: Morgyn Zebell, Evan Fischback, and Trent Ripperda. Thank you Avanti for a memorable evening in Denver.

What an awesome place! The selection of food was outstanding. It was perfect for our group of four people that all wanted to eat something different. Gemini is a charming Spanish restaurant located on Pearl Street, Boulder, founded by twin sisters Catherine and Elizabeth Neckes along with their husbands. The restaurant's chef, Brian Pierce, brings his experience from working in renowned New York City restaurants to create a menu inspired by Barcelona and San Sebastian. The cozy interior and warm ambiance make guests feel at home, whether they're enjoying casual dining or celebrating special occasions.
Tasty tapas and wonderful service! The restaurant is cozy, with a variety of high and low tables, even some that have a view of the open kitchen. Our server, Kyle, took great care of us - from walking us through suggested menu options to making sure the flow of service was seamless, he didn’t miss a beat. The menu offered a variety of flavors that all complimented one another. We left feeling full after sharing 5 smaller dishes and a dessert. If you don’t like to share, they have several options that are “entree portions”. The restaurant is easy to access on Pearl St, with indoor and outdoor seating, weather permitting. Upon receiving our check, we were given a post card with the restaurant’s logo - very nice touch!

I love my experience here accenting my first time being in Boulder CO. Such a beautiful town with exceptional bars. Sat myself at the bar at Gemini and asked the bartender for a scofflaw, my favorite drink, and he didn't know what it was. I showed him how to make one and the one he made was one of the best I've tried so far. I tried one of their tapas, the bacon wrapped dates with whipped goat cheese. It was heavenly albeit being too sweet for my taste. I blamed the natural sugar in the dates. Overall, Gemini is a must-visit when you walk the mall of Pearl Street, Boulder CO.

This is a gem on Pearl Street. Love the service and the variety in food and beverage The pink sangria was lovely. Gin and tonic, aqua de Valencia, espresso martini, Tempranillo were also excellent We had a great time there, enjoying the tapas and drinks without being hurried. The ambience is light, airy and relaxed, and great for casual conversation

I’m from Europe and we just returned from Spain and found the food here to be better than many restaurants we’ve eaten at in Barcelona. You won’t be disappointed. Well done to the team at Gemini for offering fantastic food and service! Every dish was a winner! 🥇

My group stopped off for a quick bite and drinks. The small plates were different and delicious, and our server Maria excellent. If you are looking for 4oz wine pours, then this is your place. Took stars off for the ridiculous servings.

If you're on the hunt for an authentic taste of Thailand, look no further than Thai Avenue, nestled within the Hilltop Building on College Avenue. This charming food counter offers a delightful array of traditional rice, noodle, and curry dishes that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. With a focus on fresh herbs and vibrant vegetables, each plate is crafted to deliver the rich flavors synonymous with Thai cuisine.
I ordered the lunch combo, and it was a fantastic value for the money! The Pad Thai noodles were perfectly cooked and included six pieces of shrimp, which would make even Larry David happy. It came with a spring roll and a canned beverage of choice, making the meal just perfect. I would absolutely order this again.

This will forever be my favorite Thai place! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, by my favorite dish, by far, is the medium spicy chow fun with chicken! This is always my go to order along with the Thai iced tea! The people who work there are so nice too!

So delicious, this is the one place in Colorado that has consistently made delicious Thai food. I recommend the pad see yew or Thai fried rice. The flavor is on point 😋

Disappointed about the quantity of food provided in our DoorDash order. Barely enough for an appetizer, much less a main entree.

This is the closest to the food I had in Thailand I’ve found anywhere. Really awesome Thai fried rice and egg rolls. Reasonable prices and large portions. It’s a little tricky to find as it’s done in a basement area with a few other restaurants. Really great food!

My favorite Thai food spot in Colorado. Amazing food and amazing prices. The owner is the sweetest lady you will ever meet.
Its S — Google review
Food was fine tasting, but we found a black hair in the Panang curry. Pad Thai was average and the crab wontons were a little overcooked. This whole food court has a dingy vibe: there is old food splattered on the walls, chairs, tables, and signs. The lighting is weird and dark. Not worth the price, I’m sure there’s better Thai food in Boulder.

Rush Bowls is a popular choice for students seeking a quick and delicious snack before class. Despite being located in Boulder, the prices are reasonable considering the quality of the offerings. The menu features an extensive selection of fruit and acai bowls, as well as smoothies that cater to various dietary needs. Situated on the Hill, Rush Bowls has been serving up acai bowls long before they became trendy, offering options like the Yoga Bowl with green tea hints or the classic Beach Bowl.
I really enjoy the acai bowls here. The workers are very kind, and food always come out quick. Such a great pick me up on a school day; very close to CU campus

Lots of flavors and bowls. 4.2 out of 5 for flavor. Nothing was special about them. We got 3 bowls. My favorite was the jungle book, the crunch went well with the flavors. 3 bowls- Beach: add peanut butter- plain tasting acia bowl. Jungle book- my favorite. High tide- made with blue sprinilla, pretty blue bowl, it was a little sour, good just lacking some flavor.
Brooke E — Google review
Ordered one of the main bowls, a detox bowl with no modifications. I walked over to pick it up and received this. The detox bowl is supposed to have dragonfruit which it clearly doesn’t. I told them at the store that there was clearly no dragonfruit in this. They came out from the back and just stared at me and said they must’ve forgotten the papaya (there isn’t even supposed to be papaya in the bowl). They had no idea what they were talking out and were kinda rude honestly. I’m pretty sure they only put banana, apple, and ginger in it because it tastes horrible. The bowl wasn’t even filled up to the top. Biggest waste of $14.
Audrey Y — Google review
A sufficiently mid "bowl". The price is disproportionate to the quality of flavor. For $25 for an iced coffee, bowl and tip, the blended part of the bowl had very little flavor and the iced coffee tasted like it was watered down. The smoothie base tastes like it was made with bananas that have no flavor. It was big and filling though, just bland and expensive

First time customer… was at north boulder location. Employee was fantastic! Helped me pick the best smoothie and was super nice and patient! Im definitely going back!
Jan R — Google review
I never write reviews, but my experience at this rush bowls location will have me never returning because the owner publicly humiliated his employee while people were in the store. When I got in, the register was down because of a power outage. No biggie. The worker, Taylor, was lovely and welcomed me in but told me it would be a bit. She was on speaker phone with the franchise owner, a male, who was walking her through getting the power back on for the register. Once it gets fixed and back on, the owner proceeds to berate Taylor on speaker phone in while she was in front of customers. And not just about work - personal attacks about her character and work ethic, and stating she’s a terrible employee who needs attitude improvement. This was completely embarrassing and unprofessional for a grown man to berate humiliate a young female in front of people. And from my experience, Taylor was great, and the owner is the one who needs an attitude adjustment. Will not be supporting this business anymore, and I hope you won’t either.

Rush Bowls in Boulder is a fantastic spot for a healthy and satisfying meal. The portions are impressively large, making it great value whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or a post-workout refuel. Their acai and smoothie bowls are packed with fresh fruits, superfoods, and delicious toppings that always hit the spot. The vibe is casual and friendly, and the staff is welcoming and helpful. If you’re craving something nutritious, tasty, and filling, Rush Bowls is definitely the place to go!

My $12 smoothie was watery and tasteless. Just because I ordered the smoothie with water instead of milk shouldn’t mess up the ratios. She added 2 more scoops of whey protein to try to make up for it?

We went there for the first time today. The chicken tikka masala burger was absolutely delicious. The French fries were fantastic. The slices are huge and that' pretty much the only upside. Tastes okay, but especially the outer side of the crust seems to be under-cooked/dry (as you can see the color in many pictures).

Restaurant
Avery Brewing Company, established in 1993, is a renowned brewery located in Boulder. The brewery offers an array of artisanal beers, including popular choices like White Rascal Belgian-Style White Ale and Ellies Brown Ale. Visitors can enjoy informative tap room and brewery tours to learn about the beer-making process and sample various products.
Avery was an awesome brewery stop on our way up to Fort Collins. There was plenty of parking and the space itself is quite large with indoor and outdoor seating. There's a full food menu and tons of beer options on tap. All of the beers we tried were fresh and tasty, and the chips we got were nice. I'd appreciate the instructions to be a little clearer when walking in (see the host stand vs head straight to a table etc) but otherwise no complaints. Nice spot!

I’ve been a loyal customer of Avery Brewing for years, but my recent visit with my family, including my newborn baby, left me deeply disappointed. During our meal, I went to change my baby in the women’s restroom and found the only changing table in unacceptable condition: it was covered in used wipes, a used diaper, paper towels, and was next to a bucket of cleaning chemicals. Given the state of the facility, I made the decision to change my baby discretely on the ground, on a sanitary pad, near our patio table and behind our stroller. While doing this, the on-duty manager approached and told me I was not allowed to change my newborn baby there. I approached her again after I had finished the task and explained that I had checked the restroom first and even showed her a photo of the unsanitary conditions. She told me she didn’t care and that it was the rule, no diaper changes outside, apparently no matter the condition of the provided facilities. She also suggested my husband try the men’s room instead, which felt dismissive and unhelpful. What was most upsetting wasn’t just the lack of a clean space to care for my child, but the complete lack of understanding or empathy from the manager. Her attitude completely undercut the excellent service we had received from our waiter. He earned the redemptive second star in this review. As a parent and longtime customer, I expect better. We won’t be returning, and I hope Avery takes this feedback seriously, maintains cleaner facilities, and trains staff to support families with small children in a more respectful and reasonable way.

Always a great experience but Knox steps it up every time! Great service, he is very attentive and personable! Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant is a lively and colorful venue that offers generous portions of classic Mexican dishes and margaritas in a festive setting. It's known for serving authentic Mexican cuisine with an American twist, providing exceptional service, and creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a trip south of the border. The restaurant's famous Rio Margs are highly praised by locals, bloggers, and beverage magazines.
Had an early dinner here on Saturday. Got seated quickly upstairs on the rooftop. It was a nice space. We were in a hurry and our waiter was very accommodating. Got our drink orders and chips and salsa quickly. It was exactly what we needed. My chicken tacos were tasty, as were the chips and salsa. My daughter had a chicken salad and liked it. My jalapeño drink was outstanding. I’ll be back next time in Boulder.

There was another very nice man, Alex, who was handling a pretty rowdy group very well. Such a great experience! Highly recommend!

Lives to it’s reputation, great margaritas? But service could improve in terms of timing for drinks and food
Rafael H — Google review
The food was mediocre and service was just okay — there were long waits between courses, and we had to ask for the next step each time. My biggest concern, though, was the baby changing table in the restroom. It was broken, tilted, and filthy — completely unusable. I ended up having to change my 5-month-old on the waiting bench outside the restaurant, which was really disappointing. Also worth noting: I had two mimosaritas and a margarita, all of which were very weak. Overall, not a great experience.

Great experience. I had encountered feelings since I’m native from Argentina. So I’ll try to be fair enough. I loved location. I loved the ambiance. Pretty cool. Food-wise Empanadas, I didn’t try them all but they are solid. I recommend protein ones like Criolla, since they are a little pricey. The place is a little pricey in general. Sandwiches are ok. I think they are a little thin. Chimichurri was ok but I’d try to change the recipe that way the sandwich is more enjoyable even. I’m also Alfajor lover, so this is where my feelings were encountered. Since I liked empanadas but I totally disliked the alfajores. Classic one: No dulce de leche at all, I felt even bad for buying it. Totally dry and No DDL was not good way to finish the experience. I decided to try one more… Alfajor de Maicena. It was pretty dry too, but even when didn’t have too much dulce de leche, it was way more than the classic one. So at least I felt better when leaving.
Santiago V — Google review
I just came back from a trip to South America, ham and cheese empanada was good, beef empanada I didn’t like it at all, maicena alfajor was dry and the Freddo package gelato was re frozen 1/2 melted inside, stuffers were very nice
Gabrielmtbgopro — Google review
I would not call myself an empanada person. Usually they come with too much bread and low quality fillers. Not so here. Just the right amount of phyllo dough, with wonderfully spiced and plentiful meat fillers. Fantastic! We're coming again. The following is definitely a minor gripe. Maybe this is played out, but at places like this, you should not have a tip option at checkout. We wait in line to order, and bus the tables ourselves. IMO, no tip necessary for that. Get rid of the option.

Leaf is a family-owned restaurant that offers sustainable, farm-to-table vegetarian and vegan meals in a relaxed setting. Located on Three Leaf Farm along the banks of Lafayette's Coal Creek, this urban farm is owned by Lenny and Sara Martinelli. Originally opened to grow produce for their five Boulder-area restaurants, it now includes a botanical sanctuary, educational center, and private event space for small wedding ceremonies and receptions.
Amazing vegetarian good!! We went on a day they were starting new menu items and they were incredible. Fresh ingredients and cool, unique, delicious plates. The cauliflower tacos were some of the best tacos i’ve had (I don’t even like cauliflower!) The ambiance is lovely and the staff were very friendly. Would definitely go again when in Boulder!
Miral P — Google review
Leaf is a charming, pure vegetarian restaurant in Boulder that focuses on fresh ingredients and a diverse menu. It is a small, quaint cafe with a comfy and inviting vibe, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal. We started with the Wild Mushroom Arancini, which had a wonderfully creamy texture, with deep, earthy flavors from the mushrooms, making for a rich and satisfying bite. The Yaki Onigiri, however, didn’t quite hit the mark. The Kale Salad with Harissa Tofu was a refreshing dish, offering a nice balance of textures and flavors. The tofu had a good spice level from the harissa, and the kale provided a hearty, nutritious base. Moving on to the mains, the Thai Green Curry was well-balanced in flavor, with a creamy, fragrant broth. However, the Spaghetti that came with it, felt a bit dry.The Orange Cauliflower was not so good, the flavors were all over the place, with the rice and base being overly salty. On the bright side, the drinks were enjoyable, and the meal ended on a high note with the Carrot Cake. The dessert was moist, spiced just right, and topped with a luscious frosting. Leaf is a solid spot, but some dishes did feel underwhelming. The portion sizes are generous, making it a good value overall. If you are looking for a creative vegetarian meal with a lovely vibe, it’s worth a visit.

The concept of an entirely-vegan restaurant sounded like a dream when we found this place online as soon as we landed in Colorado. This is the best restaurant I have been to, vegan or not. The food was good, but they didn't have what we wanted on 2 different occasions (and we only went twice) the Jamaican jerk Tempeh was a bit much in flavor, but not in amount. Definitely left hungry. The Tuscan garden I didn't get a pic of but that was probably my favorite.

This was my first coffee in 3 months, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The Orange Ginger seasonal latte was delicious, not too sweet and complex flavors while staying creamy and letting the coffee shine. Boxcar is so delicious, that we started a run group every Tuesday to go pastry pace. One of my favorite places in boulder. The seasonal Black Velvet is one of the best drinks ever made.
Charles G — Google review
My drink was really good. The coffee was strong and fresh. My colleague purchased the tea, which is brewed to order. They were a bit busy in the morning but that is expected. However, they did move pretty quickly. The staff wasn’t the friendliest, but I would return for the coffee when in town.

Best espresso in town. Tried their single origin and it was perfectly pulled. Staff was courteous. And great place to hang if you need to get some work done.

Was recommended this place by a stranger and it was actually so good coffee. Just did cold brew with the cardamom rose syrup and is was very tasty. Cute spot but had my dog so I couldn’t sit inside but it looked nice! Will go back to do some work it was a good vibe

Sanitas Brewing Company in Boulder, CO is a trendy taproom with an industrial-chic vibe and a seasonal outdoor patio where you can savor tacos and a variety of house-brewed beers. Established in 2013, this brewery boasts an impressive selection of 21 unique and award-winning beers on tap.
My now husband and I have been coming here ever since we met and are huge fans of the beer and the space. We just had our wedding here pretty much for that exact reason and it has only grown our love for this spot. Everyone that helped coordinate our wedding was amazing and so friendly. Zoey, the events coordinator, is the sweetest and most easy person to communicate with. Her laid back and organized style helped dissuade any stress in the scheduling process, and the wedding was exactly as we envisioned it as a result, with good beer, the nicest people, and a naturally aesthetic location. We will continue recommending the taproom to friends as always, but now have a new favorite suggestion for events/venues moving forward.

Sanitas Brewing is a nice little brewery in Boulder. They have nice indoor and outdoor seating. They have a handful of nice beers including: Munich lager, Italian pils, dry hopped pils, Mexican lager, an English bitter, session ipa, hazy ipa, pink hazy ipa, earl Grey sour, passion friut sour. Outdoor, they have a food truck and a separate group with a sauna and other stuff. I enjoyed our time and would be happy to come back.

Sanitas Brewing Company is fantastic! My wife and I have been coming here for years and still love the place. We visited on Saturday 11/26/22 and had just as much fun as always. Their website says the brewery’s primary focus is to build community through patios and pints and they are doing a fine job at meeting their goal. I’m not aware of a cooler patio in Boulder. This is the place to enjoy a wonderful beer outside! The views are great and there is a train track just beyond their fence. The kid in me loves to pump his arm in the air at each passing train. It’s beyond cool when the engineer gives a blast, or two, on the horn! The beers are all solid. My favorite is the Hazy IPA followed by the Black IPA. They have a wide selection of beers on draft and in cans. I’m sure you will find something you love! You like events? Sanitas will hook you up with everything from yoga to trivia. Check out the website for the monthly events. These people aren’t kidding when they talk about building community! There is a good amount of seating inside and a huge outdoor patio. If it’s cool, bring a jacket because its still worth sitting outside. In addition to beer, they have McDevitt Taco Supply and Bona Coffee Roasters. Parking is not a problem, there is a large lot just outside. Stop by the next chance you get! The people are friendly, the beer is great, and the atmosphere is chill. This just might become your new favorite brewery?

Really enjoyed Sanitas Brewing Co! Came by on the recommendation of a friend who lives in the area and it was a great little spot to relax and enjoy a beer or two with my husband. It’s located in the back end of an industrial business park but it’s a cool vibe. They have inside/outside seating, a taco truck, and is dog friendly. :) Give them a try if you’re in the area!
Chelsea — Google review
Sweet spot off the beaten path. Cool inside area but badass, huge patio that’s dog friendly. Their beer selection is killer and has a ton of options for beer fans of all kinds. You can also score good coffee and sometimes they have tacos!
Marissa W — Google review
A nice brewery in Boulder with a very cool mountain view. Beer was good. I can't remember what I got (I want to say Hazy IPA). The day that we went the brewery was pretty busy but we were able to find a spot outside at the patio and enjoy some Colorado brewed beer. I was told that they usually have food trucks outdoors but that day was not one of them. Def worth the visit for the views 👀.
Antonio J — Google review
Good brewery option with outdoor area. It is counter serve only because they’re lazy but still want the full tip. The taco shack is a nice option for some snackage. Not a ton of options there but it’s food. Not going to say it’s amazing like others because that’s simply a lie. It’s alright. It’s not bad tacos. I’m definitely not going to write my folks in Michigan about these tacos (or these beers) but I will come back.
Weston H — Google review
Stopped here hoping to get a stamp in our hop-passport but they weren’t in it (our mistake, we didn’t look closely enough) However, feeling sorry for us, the super friendly bartender gave us a free beer anyway! Mine was a the Prickly Pear sour and was probably the best sour beer I’ve ever had- and that’s saying something! Also had a beef taco and the Avalanche taco from the truck that were delish. Will definitely return.

Celestial Seasonings Tea Factory, located just outside Boulder, offers a captivating sensory adventure for tea enthusiasts. The guided tour takes visitors through the meticulous process of blending, packaging, and distributing the world-famous Celestial Seasonings teas. Surrounded by the Rocky Mountains, Boulder provides an ideal location for sourcing wild herbs and flowers to naturally flavor tea blends.
I truly had a fun experience here with my sister-in-law! I had never really tried flavored tea and discovered I really like it. It was great as they had several you could taste before the tour. It is like a self-serve wine tasting. You could go at your own pace & check out the artwork details as well. We had fun learning about the process of how it's made

My family and I visited on August 6, 2025. It was my second visit (first in 1998). It was even better than I’d remembered. The movie before the tour was great and very informative. The tour was interesting and our guide was enthusiastic and friendly. The gift shop is amazing and the employees were very attentive. Everyone loved being able to sample as many teas as they liked. It was so much fun for all. We all walked away with several flavors we’d never seen in the grocery stores. Everything is presented in such a lovely manner with all the artwork and teapots. I highly recommend anyone in the area paying a visit to this local treasure.

The Celestial Seasonings tea tour was an enchanting journey through fragrant gardens and cozy corners, where each sip told a story. The mint room was a breath of fresh magic, truly ‘ce’mint’ing the experience with its cool, invigorating aroma. Every moment was steeped in wonder and whimsy, making it a delightful escape for the senses. A must-visit haven where tea leaves dance and memories are brewed to perfection!

Well this was just delightful! For a few bucks, this was easily an hour's worth of information, entertainment, and sampling. The tour was really informative, and our tour guide had a good sense of humor. The gift shop has way more than just tea for purchase, and things are reasonably priced. The samples were great! They'll give you as much as you want. Bonus tip: Don't miss the photo ops in the tasting room with the sleepytime bear. (Sexy husband not included!)

Great tour! So inspiring to learn how some friends took a humble, heartful, creative idea, kept it local, & yet grew it worldwide. Thanks also for that mindful level-up of removing the plastic wrap from around the boxes...& for supporting Northwest USA growers!~ 🌿😻

Toured the celestial seasonings headquartered in Boulder, Colorado. Before or after the tour you can sample a variety of iced and hot teas. The tours are very frequent and the tickets are sampled of tea. Really enjoyed the tour learning how they make the tea from mixing to production to distribution. It was such a cool experience. The last stop on the tour was the tea shop where you could buy a wide variety of items including teas, their new cold brew teas and merchandise.
Melanie T — Google review
We really enjoyed our visit. They have about eight different teas that are ready to try and a large list that they will make upon request. No photos of the factory because they do not allow it but here are a few of the tasting room and the menu for for samples. They also have a gift shop where you can grab lots of different tea bags that are normally not available on shelves in stores.
Chris L — Google review
Fantastic stop whenever we’re traveling through! Love the tea tastings and little art museum. The flavor themed paintings and sculptures are beautiful, and you obviously can’t beat the tea! They keep 6 or so hot and cold flavors in big pitchers and you can also taste any additional tea from the menu, made just for you. We will definitely be back and will do the tour next time!

Great little brewery. Fantastic beers with several meals won. Mellow atmosphere, family friendly. Corn hole and picnic tables outside. They have football games and NFL Sunday ticket available on weekends but it's not a sports bar. Great menu but limited to comfort food, salads, mac n cheese, wings, pizza and apps. Highly recommend for people looking for a mellow laid back family friendly place with great beer and good food

A lovely local gem ! We came here for lunch and some drinks and were blown away. The food was incredible and surpassed my expectations. I really enjoyed the pizza and pretzels sticks specifically. The hummus was also very fresh. The staff was attentive and friendly. We also brought our dogs and they loved it too !!! The drinks were excellent cool options for beers and frozen margs. We live close and will absolutely be back.

Twisted Pine is a nice brewery in Boulder Co. Decent sized tap room, you order your food and beer as you enter then take a seat. Music is good and they have a large outdoor area with bags etc. On my stop they had: Belgian blonde, standard blonde, kolsch, rasberry wheat, farmhouse wit, Mexican lager, Italian Pils, cherry sour, American pale ale, Belgian pale ale, a white IPA....Plus some seltzers and slushies. Its a nice lineup of lighter beers. Everything I tried was okay. Definitely worth a stop if you are in need of a cold beer.

Really enjoyed of experience there. Food was great and pizza was fantastic. Staff was very friendly especially one of the owners. He recommended some other things for us to see and do while we were in town. So kind. Hope to go back in the future!

I really enjoyed the set up at Twisted Pine brewery. I ordered the golden wings and omnivore to eat. Really loved the wings. The sauce was very tasty! Wish I had ordered more. Really enjoyed the big shot coffee brew and the cerise was pretty good. Couldn’t taste much cherry in the cerise but it’s all good. Plenty of seating available. Nice place to watch sports and get a drink and some food. It’s nice to order at the counter at your own pace and not have someone ask you every 5 minutes if you need another one. Really Enjoyed the ambiance and vibe.

So… the pretzel stick and beer cheese were the bomb! Ambience… meh. Beer… not great in our opinion. They all had the same odd flavor to them. The piped in music needs help - felt like i was on an elevator. Friendless? Nah. Great location. Could be tons better!
Laura O — Google review
We were visiting Boulder Colorado for the day and stopped here for lunch. It is brewery you order your beer at the counter but you can also order pizza or wings and then they give you a buzzer to let you know when your food is ready. I like this because you pack up your own leftovers. They had stuff out for you. If you wanted water you could go get that. It was a quaint little bar. I'm sure in the summer there's a lot of places to sit outside but this was in the middle of March so it was warm and toasty inside. Pizza was great. Thin crust style
Elizabeth S — Google review
Plenty of outdoor seating as well as a huge indoor space that must be fun! Got the daily special pineapple soy wings and they lacked any major flavor to be honest. The gluten free pizza was tasty. Also got their summer beer as well as the golden boy; def liked the summery cucumber better on a nice hot day. Curious to try some of the other varieties of beer next time! I love that they are almost all gluten reduced.

With its renowned four-star, four-diamond service and hospitality, St Julien Hotel & Spa is an award-winning destination ideal for both leisure and extended stays.
I had a wonderful 5 night stay at St Julien. The front desk, valet, housekeeping and in room dining service staff were all absolutely wonderful! So nice, so appreciate and so deserving. The hotel is beautiful. The location is absolutely perfect. The rooms are well appointed and well stocked with towels, toiletries, robes, waters and anything else that you might need, which is always so appreciated! Turndown service was a pleasant surprise and the little cookies are delicious! The food from Jill's for in room dining was delicious day to day. The Kale and goat cheese salad (add the shrimp) was delicious! I did have one spa service and this was the only area of the hotel that I wouldn't rate a 5. I would, for sure, stay here again and would highly recommend it to others.

We travel a lot and usually stay at nice hotels, but our recent stay at the St. Julien in Boulder was truly exceptional. The location is hard to beat and the overall feel of the hotel is spot on. Our room was spacious, very comfortable, and had some of the best bedding we’ve experienced. Even the toiletries were a nice surprise. Dining at the hotel was another highlight. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with food that was beautifully prepared and service to match. What set the St. Julien apart most, though, was the staff. Every person we interacted with — from the reception desk to the restaurant team — was friendly, professional, and seemed genuinely happy to be there. It gave the hotel a warmth that’s rare even in luxury properties.

Way over priced! 835 for a basic 2 Queen bed room, coffee cups were left dirty, some areas are showing old wear. After a night out we went into the hotel lobby bar. We asked A young man behind the bar if we could order a drink and he said “yeah the line is down there” pointed - very rudely when we finally got our cocktail had two sips of it a Manager looking guy in a suit, came right over to our table right in our face at 10 till midnight they were closing and we needed to “get out” and two more men Followed up right one after another before we even had a chance to grab our coats off the back of the chairs telling us to leave. We were just two ladies from Denver sitting there having a drink. We didn’t even have a chance to stand up before the next guy showed up. They were extremely rude and with all of that my friend left her very expensive leather jacket on the chair and the staff and hotel say it was not there. One of them had to have taken it because we were all kicked out. I do not recommend this place. The only thing it’s good for is convenience to Pearl Street. There are other new hotels opening up. Give them a try.
Heather T — Google review
I cannot say enough good things about this hotel! We were in Colorado on our honeymoon and unfortunately had a horrible experience at an Airbnb that forced us to leave. We found this hotel online, walked in to check it out, and were immediately welcomed at the front desk. AD and Amber were absolutely INCREDIBLE—so kind, helpful, and empathetic about our situation. They even arranged an early check-in and upgraded our room, which meant so much to us. Beyond the amazing staff, the hotel itself was beautiful, the rooms were comfortable, and everyone we encountered was so friendly. The location is perfect too—just steps from Pearl Street with easy access to great restaurants and shops. Truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had, and we’re so grateful we ended up here during such a special trip. Highly, highly recommend!

I finally found my hair stylist guru at the st. Julien spa, Travis Tanner does exceptional work. He worked with me several times to dial in my wedding hair look. He was extremely helpful, guiding me in sourcing the right quality hair extensions, setting and styling them in my hair so i could get used to wearing them before my wedding day. He was so knowledgeable, patient and sweet through this whole process. Highly recommend him for a color, cut, style, you name it and generally just as a high quality human being.

My favorite hotel in Boulder! Location is unbeatable, the crowd in the lobby is pleasant and they typically have live music on weekends. The martinis are good and just feels like a lively place. The amenities are nice with the hot tub and lap pool. You can get drink service to the pool area and the bathrobes are comfortable. Best OG places to stay in Boulder!
Shelby C — Google review
Came here for a work meeting and the rooms, service and amenities were awesome. My favorite part was the pool and hot tub. However the pool was not completely accessible as it was difficult to get in and out with the limitations I have. The hot tub was amazing and was more accessible. I loved the bed and the pillows. There was quite a bit of noise with a rude guest in the middle of the night, but that was no fault of the hotel.
Alison D — Google review
We're heading back out to Boulder to 'help' our daughter move into her college apartment for the fall, but the real reason for going is really to get to spend a few night at the St Julian. We stayed there several time during her first year at CU, and we love our little luxury vacations in Boulder. St Julian is fun, clean, friendly, and right in the middle of it all. The rooms as spacious with amazing views, the food and drinks (and entertainment) are great quality, and of course having the spa right there is a big bonus. Staying at the St Julian has made the transition of having our daughter attend CU far away from home a treat for us all - we feel welcome and comfortable.

Hotel Boulderado, a historic landmark in Boulder, was built in 1909 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The hotel features Victorian-style rooms and a stunning stained-glass lobby ceiling. It is conveniently located near attractions such as the Pearl Street Mall. The hotel offers event spaces including a grand staircase for weddings and traditional indoor and outdoor venues. Additionally, it provides modern amenities like a gym, indoor pool, and complimentary breakfast.
I traveled to Boulder for the Bolder Boulder Memorial Day weekend. I expected the town and the hotel to be busy, and it was. I stayed in several different hotels during my Colorado trip. The Boulderado was by far the best and actually the best hotel experience I have ever had. The valet staff were the first to greet me with a warm and helping hand. Every time I left or returned, they were friendly and attentive. Upon checking in, the front desk staff were extremely kind and knowledgeable about all the questions i had about my stay. They were quick to answer the phone and help me with needs each time i called during my stay. I ordered room service on 3 separate occasions during my stay. Both of the room service attendants who came to my room were professional and cordial. Having been a room service attendant myself for a 4 Diamond hotel, I recognize great workers. The staff I interacted with exceeded my every expectation, even on one of Boulders busiest weekends. I stayed in room 421 which was on the top floor. Unfortunately, the flatiron mountain view from that room is blocked by the only tree outside the hotel in that area. It could use some light trimming around the top. Even though the view wasn't great from the balcony, the room was pleasant and comfortable. Thank you for an exceptionally memorable visit.

There is a blonde woman w short hair and an accent who is the most incredible receptionist i've ever met ! The hotel was stunning and so enjoyable once you got used to the layout, and the main receptionist made the already great stay even better. Hotel is located near so many fun bars and shops and delicious restaurants, but the on site bar and restaurant were nothing shy of excellent. I was here for a professional conference and will absolutely be back when i can.

The stay at Hotel Boulderado was absolutely lovely. Check in was easy and I was able to be accommodated earlier than 4:00, which was a nice perk. The staff took care of all questions and needs. There are two restaurants attached and both had great food and service. Downstairs was a really neat Lounge / Speakeasy vibes with live music on Thursday. Great drink options and wonderful atmosphere. Lastly, there were lots of other food options, coffee shops and shopping within a few blocks. The view is awesome too! Definitely recommend this hotel and hope I can visit again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Boulderado for the John Summit show at Folsom Field, and it was an experience to remember! This historic hotel perfectly blends charm and modern comfort, making it an ideal base for our weekend getaway. The location couldn't be better, just a short distance from Folsom Field, which made getting to the concert a breeze. The valet service was fast and friendly, ensuring a smooth arrival and departure. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated, with a stunning lobby featuring classic architecture and a cozy ambiance. Our room was spacious and comfortable, equipped with all the amenities we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring we felt right at home. One of the highlights was enjoying a drink at the hotel’s bar before the concert. The atmosphere was lively, and it was a great way to kick off the evening. Overall, my stay at Hotel Boulderado was fantastic. It offered the perfect combination of convenience, comfort, and charm, making it a great choice for anyone heading to a show at Folsom Field or exploring Boulder. I can’t wait to return!

I booked this hotel through price line. There they said it was pet friendly. (No other info) Upon checking in, after speaking to the very condescending front desk person “Birdie” we found out there was a $100 pet cleaning fee, we were unable to cancel our booking. After getting to our room which wasn’t much bigger than a broom closet. I have to say, the stained carpet was a nice touch. I’m glad the additional cleaning fee on top of the $270 booking was being put to good use. We found the bed to be uncomfortable. The first floor had a lot of walking traffic, so there was a lot of noise downtown boulder that night, we slept terribly. Thank you Boulderado for the worst most over priced hotel stay of my life.
