Bar & grill
The Kitchen American Bistro is a stylish bar and bistro located on Pearl Street, offering craft cocktails and a menu of elevated international dishes. The restaurant is known for its 4-course dinner option, priced at $75 per person with an optional $35 wine pairing. The menu features dishes made from locally sourced ingredients, including roasted beets, foie gras, seared scallops, and chai spiced panna cotta.
The atmosphere here was great. The bar on the upstairs while you wait for your table was fantastic with great bartenders. The food was great as well, especially the halibut. The crap fried rice is a bit salty so I wouldn’t do that again, but the gnocchi was fantastic! House wine is pretty good as well!

This is a spectacular shareable, quasi-tapas style bistro that offers eclectic flavors, combining cuisines, yet offering pedigreed options. Crispy cauliflower grants a surprise at each bite, as it's heretogrnous architecture creates a new facet of flavors at each corner. Texture on the cauliflower was gratifyingly hearty. The (what I will call "curried") hummus base was flooring in aromatics and really cuts through the flavors Burrata was brought together by the salsa verde and really carried flavor into the creamy texture of the goat cheese. Lamb arayas have a je ne se quoi (nutty from pine nuts?) quality that was stunning on the first bite. Great texture on the lamb. Pita was crispy and holds the spiced lamb well. The shrimp a la plancha features a gravy, which brings a necessary acidity to round out the meaty texture on this truly jumbo shrimp.

First time here and celebrated my birthday! The staff was attentive, kind, fun & overall just lovely. Our server was “Chris” (unsure of spelling) and he was fabulous and provided great service! The food was super good and served fresh (i think its 30 seconds from when its done in the kitchen that it gets brought to the table). Its shareable style dishes. We had the cauliflower which was incredibly flavorful and creative, the carrots which were phenomenal, the shrimp was delectable and I could bathe in the sauce its in 🤤 and the roasted chicken and fries! As well as some decadent chocolate peanut butter crunch mousse deliciousness. YUM! The lighting is low, vibes are fun and modern. I had an NA mocktail and it was super tasty as well! Thank y’all for such a wonderful experience

Amazing Tiradito!!! Definitely a must if you come to dine here, the steak tartare was very salty, and drenched in sauce but wasn’t all that bad, French fries were also amazing!! (Dipped them in the Tiradito sauce (11/10!). Will (amazing bartender) was taking care of us, gave us great drink recommendations and seemed very knowledgeable on the menu! Definitely will come back next time im in town.

Such a delectable restaurant to eat! Nestled at the bustling Pearl Street, this was a gem of a find for us looking for brunch. We ordered three items, the Turkish Eggs, Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich, and the very popular Carrots. Yes, carrots. Trust me, they're worth it! The Turkish Eggs was a delight, no pun intended, with its savory poached egg floating on top of the smokey urfa chile-peppered labneh yogurt. The zaatar spiced naan makes a perfect pairing as well. The Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich is good, but not as memorable. Nevertheless, it was still quite good. The fries were good, too. The carrot, however is really worth the hype! It may simply be called just "carrots" on the menu, but the taste is far more than its humble title. It's almost like sweet potatoes in its subtle sweetness but better. The combination of that urfa chile, whipped feta, pistachio, sesame, cilantro, and mint made for an exciting combination of spicy and sweetness. Yes, we had to wait until 2:30pm (we came at 1:45) to get it since it's technically not on the Brunch menu, but it was worth it. All in all, the food was great, and the service was just as great. Next time I'm in Boulder, I'll have to come here for more tasty dining!

The Kitchen was a nice sit-down spot with really friendly staff. While the food selection was a bit limited, the team was great at suggesting what to try. For any Indians visiting, just a heads up the ‘New Delhi Puffs’ aren’t what you might expect.

If you’re looking for amazing ambience and farm to table goodness, this is your spot! The ingredients are fresh and delicious. The staff are knowledgeable and attentive. They have a very chill vibe with relaxing music. You can’t go wrong with anything you order! We especially loved the carrots, gnocchetti, trout (my mom’s fav), Delhi puffs (2 orders!), and the garlic fries. OMG!!!! I’m still thinking about it.

Northern Italian restaurant
Frasca Food and Wine is an Italian restaurant located on Pearl Street, offering a refined dining experience with Northern Italian cuisine. The menu features dishes made with locally sourced ingredients, such as risotto with Indonesian lemon vinegar and musque de Provence from a local farm. Run by chef Lachlan Mackinnon-Patterson and master sommelier Bobby Stuckey, the restaurant has received accolades for its delicate pastas, expertly paired wines, innovative desserts, and impeccable service.
We had a truly wonderful dining experience at Frasca Food and Wine for my birthday. The staff were incredibly friendly and warm, making us feel so welcome from the moment we walked in. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious — beautifully prepared and full of flavor. You can really feel the care that goes into everything here. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The reputation preceded my visit, but I wanted to experience for myself. From the moment we walked in it was apparent that this was a very different high excellence experience. The number of servers who seamlessly work together to provide world class service that walks the fine line of familiarity and professionalism was extraordinary. The choice between the chefs fixed menu and the four choices was difficult but without unanimous buy in to partake in the extensive chefs menu, we decided to make our individual selections from the four course alacarte menus. We also added an irresistible optional pasta course that was well worth the extra calories. This is truly a special place at all levels. World class!
Robert G — Google review
We're visiting from Memphis. First trip without the kids in 5 years. I found Frasca and knew I had to come here. The menu sounded phenomenal. Went to make a reservation and they offer a Chef's table! I was so excited; I never thought I'd get a chance to do one. It was worth it. Meeting some of the Chefs and hearing first hand about the dishes was incredible. (Sidenote the chefs were all really cool and friendly.) The staff was an important part of the experience. Everyone from Sergei and Jeremy, the GM and head Sommelier, to Sarah and Jesus, our servers made the experience special. And the food was beyond. I've had some high quality food, but this place really showed how every component on a dish matters and works together. Can't say enough good things about this place.
Sabrina G — Google review
TL;DR: Their star is well-earned. Hospitality impeccable, food outstanding, wine pairings slap. Best place in Boulder, worth the price. We must like this place because we've returned three times, so it's time to review. We've come on Valentine's Day, anniversary, birthday - to sample three different seasonal menus. From our arrival for my birthday dinner I felt treated like a VIP. There was a minor serving accident that could have happened to anyone, and even though we did not complain, the staff all but tripped over themselves apologetically in an effort to make it right and ensure we had a good experience. The waitstaff are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about everything they serve. Out of the 9-course meal, nearly every course knocked it out of the park. The appetizer and dessert courses in particular have given someone an opportunity to really show off their skills. They creatively blend flavors and textures I might not have expected, into a culinary powerhouse far more than the sum of its parts. Easily the best meal I’ve had in Boulder, on a level with Beckon in Denver. The one time I’ve had the wine pairing, each wine seemed carefully chosen to complement the dish it was served with, and the generous pours nearly bowled me over by the end of the night. I’m not educated enough in wine to order off their extensive wine list, nor rich enough to get appropriately educated, but if that’s you, I’d trust their sommeliers to make excellent suggestions. Even their cappuccino (from Boxcar in town) is expertly crafted and served with a house-made biscotti. The meal can last hours, and the cost makes this a place to go for a gift or special occasion, but to my mind it is worth every penny.
Guy G — Google review
A gem in Boulder. An excellent experience each time we visit. Unmatched wine list, eclectic menu of seasonal offerings, and stellar service. It is worth going out of your way to enjoy this restaurant. As well, it serves to influence a growing culinary scene in the Boulder-Denver area.

Superior dining experience at Frasca. Service, food and atmosphere all deserving of the Michelin star. The stand out dishes were the A5 Waygu and the Risotto di marinara
Paul — Google review
Good atmosphere, Italian wines, Italian food, Italian hospitality in Denver. Foods are delicious. You will love the quality. I started with Canederli and carried with penne al Ragu di antra, Alaskan halibut(ippoglosso) which was extraordinary. Ciliegia for closing. Price performance rate is acceptable. When you are around, must do!
Mahir O — Google review
Did the tasting menu and it was fantastic. Some of the cocktails were a little “meh”, and so I’d be more likely to do wine there in the future. The caviar on corn cake—one of the three starters—was probably the best bite of food I’ve had this year. The crudo (the second course) seemed a bit lacking to me, but others at the table really liked it. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Foolish Craig's Cafe is a popular and quirky spot located on Pearl Street in Boulder. It has been serving delicious breakfast, brunch, and lunch since 1998. While it is known for its extensive selection of crepes, the menu also offers other options such as omelets, housemade breads, salads, soups, and sandwiches. The cafe features a full bar to cater to all your brunch cocktail needs.
Fantastic menu filled with comfort food. The melted Brie was especially amazing. They were great with gluten free and nut free food as well. So good we ate here twice in two days.
Amy L — Google review
Although a very fun place to eat, we wanted to sit in a booth to be comfortable because we knew we would hang out for quite a while as we often do with one another. However, maybe because it was a full house, the restaurant did not allow only two people in a booth and that was a bit disappointing. We were going to sit at the bar, but noticed the upper level overlooking the downstairs area and chose to sit upstairs. It was after we were seated and ordered our food, that we noticed the noise level was quite dramatic, even though we sat upstairs in the small room overlooking the downstairs area. My delightful, close friend and I were there to celebrate her birthday (and mine as well) and because of the ridiculous noise pitch, we kept saying to the other, what did you say? I ordered a salad with mixed greens and salmon and it was the freshest salad I’ve ever ordered out. And also reasonably priced at $16. because of the nice piece of salmon. My friend ordered a tofu scramble that she enjoyed immensely. Both dishes that were served looked appetizing, artful and inviting to eat. The server was friendly and gave us great service; as soon as we ordered whatever it was, whether it was a glass with ice, she came back to us immediately. The only reason why I gave it three stars instead of five was the incredible noise level.

Foolish Craig’s Café was a great find! Loved seeing locals and travellers alike enjoying their Sunday morning here — it had a lively, welcoming vibe. The menu has plenty of healthy options, and the food was beautifully plated and delicious. Perfect spot for a relaxed weekend breakfast!
Sreedharan M — Google review
Came for brunch on a weekday and waited for a few minutes at the outdoor host stand before having to go inside and locate a server. Got seated in a corner where there shouldn’t really be a table, as my wife was continuously bumped into by staff and customers alike. Our server was not very friendly, and when my wife asked her to add bacon a few minutes after we placed our order, she dropped it off shortly after by itself, which was not ideal, as she wanted it with her meal, not as an appetizer. The food itself was quick and tasty, however, if you’re looking for a place to have conversation, this may not be for you! It was quite loud but eclectically decorated. Loved to see the pride flag!

We went for breakfast, and it was delicious! My wife and I got The Craig and Altitude Adjuster crepes, and oh man were they good and incredibly filling. We will definitely go back!
JD F — Google review
Amazing brunch place. Very nice vibe and good service. We visited on weekday morning and it was not crowded and got parking right in front as well. The food was amazing. One of the best eggs Benedict I've had. All clean ingredients as well which is nice.
Mithun H — Google review
I ate there 16 years ago and finally made it back. I had Ruben with a salad. Ruben had crispy bread, tender meat, good thousand island dressing. Salad dressing was a good ranch. Server was ok. The restaurant seating was a little hard. We ate in a booth inside.
S B — Google review
This is a cute café with extensive menu items to pick from. I had the corn beef hash with two eggs and my hubby hat, the chicken fried steak with the Scrambled eggs. We got a side of biscuit and gravy. I’ve declared it the best biscuit and gravy in town! Service was good.

Deli
Blackbelly Market & Restaurant is a farmhouse-chic eatery and butcher shop in East Boulder, known for its dedication to locally sourced products. Run by Top Chef winner Chef Hosea Rosenberg, the restaurant offers charcuterie, burgers, steaks, and hand-cut Kennebec fries. It has gained recognition for its whole-animal butchery program and commitment to serving the freshest ingredients from local ranchers.
Exceptional food, cocktails, and service. My steak was tender and cooked just right. My waiter was very attentive and I never had to flag him down. He was always anticipating anything I was needing. It's a very popular place, but I had no issue being seated quickly. I've eaten at plenty of pricey places. Very few were what I would consider worth the extra cost. This place is one of maybe 5 places I can think of that are not only worth it, but not over charging considering the quality you get.

Flawless presentation, impeccable service, and exquisite flavors. Pretty much everything you want when you make a dinner reservation. Came into town from Austin with my daughter and sat at the chef’s bar which was a great experience for her to see the behind the scenes magic that goes into the details of executing a perfect plate. Cannot recommend dinner at Blackbelly more…a true gem.

Really just an all around wonderful dining experience. Myself and my team spent a week in Boulder. We all agreed this was our favorite restaurant 🍽️ and we visited some really good places 👍. The overall ambiance is wonderful with a locker of meat showing 👀. The bar in the back was very quaint 😊. The star of the show was the food for sure. Excellent flavors. Everything cooked just perfectly. The service was on point and very well done. I had some very delicious scallops. I know it might be odd to order at a beef place, but they were excellent and I was in the mood for some. Very moist and delicious. Not cooked too long. Just an excellent dish. We had several appetizers, an amazing bread and a wonderful beef tartar. The menu even satisfied our vegetarian team member. I assure you you will enjoy this place for its food and everything else.
Family G — Google review
Outstanding food, delicious dishes, good service. Tables are rather small and positioned way too close together, noise level was quite high. Wine prices are rather high: steak, lamb and pork dishes were outstanding. Focaccia was great, fresh and warm, just pieces of it were humongous, so we had to break them apart ourselves. Tip of 6% for kitchen was included on the bill.
Dragan K — Google review
Best food in town! They have their own dry age cooler. All the meats are great. The service is great. Ambience is great. Can’t say anything bad about this place. Must try!
Larry L — Google review
Just fine. Was it bad? No. Was it overly flavorful and beckoning for me to return? No. Got the Bahn Mi and the Wagyu Beef sandwich. The wagyu was pretty forgettable and the bahn mi wasn’t too much better. Forgot the soup and had to remind them when the food was dropped off (no big deal). But, the flavor of the food doesn’t align with the cost. There are other $17 sub sandwiches that I’d choose over blackbelly.
Ryan M — Google review
Visited: Mid-May 2025 | Dinner | Party of 2 Blackbelly in Boulder (with its Denver outpost now drawing buzz) carries weight--not only from its reputation as a whole-animal, sustainable operation, but also from its Michelin Green Star nod for sustainability. Naturally, expectations were high. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to the hype. Starters: Overpowered and Underwhelming We began with the Roasted Bone Marrow, which came sparsely portioned. Only about half of the bone contained marrow--arguably normal, but not ideal when paired with two pieces of overly oily toast. The pickled onions were aggressively acidic, dominating rather than complementing the dish. The Chicharrones were... fine. Just fine. Crisp and salty, but forgettable. Not a starter that leaves an impression or sets the tone for a special meal. Mains: Long Wait, Little Reward We waited nearly 40 minutes for our mains--an unusually long delay with no clear explanation. The Crispy Pig Ears, which I was genuinely excited about, were a letdown. As a longtime fan of this ingredient, I found the deep-frying and sugary red pepper jelly completely obliterated the subtle, gelatinous texture and flavor pig ears are celebrated for. In the end, the ears became just a vehicle for the jelly. The result? A dish that could've been made with anything and tasted the same. The 5oz Buckner Loin (lamb) didn't fare much better. Though ordered medium and appearing cooked accordingly, it somehow tasted dry and under-seasoned, lacking the richness or tenderness good lamb should deliver. The accompanying crispy sweetbreads were charred to the point of bitterness--blackened, dry, and tasting closer to burnt wood than delicacy. Presentation-wise, the dish lacked any visual appeal. And at $55 for the loin alone, the price felt unjustified--especially when you compare it to equally-priced signature mains in fine dining institutions. Drink & Service Notes The strawberry mocktail was delightful--bright, balanced, and refreshing. A rare bright spot in an otherwise unremarkable meal. Service was warm and attentive overall, although we were handed a set of dirty tongs, which felt out of place in a restaurant of this price point and prestige. We dined outdoors, so I can't comment on the interior atmosphere, but the patio was comfortable. Final Thoughts Our bill also included a 6% kitchen surcharge, which diners should be aware of--especially when value already feels questionable. In the end, while Blackbelly's mission is admirable and its service professional, the execution in the kitchen fell flat across the board. It's hard to reconcile the restaurant's accolades with the actual experience. Perhaps we caught them on an off night, but with so many exceptional dining options in Denver, I wouldn't rush back.

What an amazing place! My brother insisted we take my dad here for his 79th birthday. Everything from service, to ambiance, and especially the food was amazing. We were able to try a variety of dishes by sharing plates. They are also wonderful with allergies. They took care of my celiacs like pros. One of the most impressive dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. This is our new place for all special occasions!

The West End Tavern is a popular brick pub known for its burgers and other food options. It offers an extensive selection of drinks, including a wide variety of bourbons. The tavern has a roof lounge that provides great views of the mountains. Located on West Pearl Street, it is in close proximity to another bar specializing in tequila. The restaurant also boasts a long list of Colorado bourbons and even carries the sought-after Pappy Van Winkle from Kentucky.
Stopped in and had a Brisket Sandwich and a PBR. Sweet young blonde girl working the Bar. She was Friendly, The Sandwich was Good. The portion was good. The price was in line. I'd do it again. Give it a go.

This place is beautiful and cozy with great vibes, great views and incredible food. Our server, Mia, went above and beyond to make sure my boyfriend and I were satisfied. Don’t forget to try their homemade sauce - mustardy and spicy deliciousness. Can’t give this place enough praise! Thank you, Mia! ♥️☺️

The shepherds pie was good, but the appetizer (Korean bbq skewer) and side (onion rings) were definitely the best part of the meal. The cocktail was also really good.
Brett — Google review
Pretty decent bbq spot. Got the burnt ends, brisket platter, smoked artichoke dip, and crispy Brussels. The Brussels were very crispy - too dry. The burnt ends were inconsistent, some were dry and hard and others were buttery and fell apart. The brisket platter was good, it was all too much food. sweet potato fries and slaw were good. Most things were lacking flavor for us. The smoked artichoke dip was the best. The in house chips were great! Our server, Josh, was very nice. He kept closing the door for us since it was very windy and we got cold.

This review is specifically based on my bar experience (no food). November 2025: My husband and I sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks. The bartender was friendly and the barstools were comfortable! I ordered the Old Buffalo from the cocktail menu and got it smoked. It was awesome! I loved the Bourbon and the smoke enhancement. We also met a few people while we were there and we enjoyed the warm, social environment.
Michelle — Google review
I ate the brisket platter. It was tasty. So were the beans, coleslaw, Texas toast & pickles. Bbq sauce was good too.
Burton B — Google review
Korean BBQ skewer was mediocre at best. My fries were a bit over seasoned. My friend did really like the chicken sandwich. Service was good but not exceptional. Ate outside which was quite pleasant! So many options on Pearl St...I feel like you have to really stand out, which this didn't.
Erik F — Google review
The West End Tavern was a pleasant experience with a few hiccups. We quite enjoyed the jalapeno dip, the peppers paired with the cheese so well and the portion size was far better than most other restaurants selling the same item. The fish from the fish and chips was crispy with a tasty batter and the fries were pretty decent. The sticky style chicken sandwich was an interesting take that absolutely had me reaching for the wet naps. It was sweet and crispy with a bit too much apple, overall nice but I don't think I'll go back to it. The kids food is where I question things. Kids are picky, sure, but why is the chicken breast and fries so plain? The service was ok, a bit slow at times and and definitely distracted.

The restaurant has garnered attention for its departure from traditional taqueria models, focusing instead on delivering high-quality and innovative menu items. T/aco offers an extensive selection of tacos featuring various fillings such as classic carne asada, red snapper, and vegetable medley.
Service was a hundred stars! We had to make very last minute changes to our plans and T/aco was more than accommodating. Our group of seven were immediately seated, they put my son’s cake in their fridge which they later served to us, and helped us hang some decorations. Unfortunately all the food had been eaten by the time we took the picture but we had a platter full of multiple kinds of tacos and some appetizers. I photoshopped the glasses and stuff on the table and the stuff in the background so you could see the cake and decorations. This was important because it shows the effort they all made for our special memory and we were stuffed with fresh flavor packed deliciousness! Thank you to the whole staff and manager as this was last minute and on graduation weekend, even though we were Rams in Buffalo country. Great food, amazing staff, and wonderful atmosphere. When we come back to CO, we’ll be back!

If you’re in Boulder, you have to stop by T/aco! Their tacos are absolutely amazing—packed with flavor and perfectly made—and the margaritas are just as incredible. The customer service is truly 5-star; every single staff member made us feel welcome and taken care of. The vibe is perfect too, with a mix of indoor seating (including a lively bar) and outdoor seating that’s ideal for soaking up those gorgeous Boulder days or enjoying a cool evening. What really sets T/aco apart is the people. The owner personally came by our table several times to check on us and even brought over a complimentary sauce for us to try. But the moment that completely won us over? As we were finishing lunch, we noticed a homeless man sitting near the entrance. Before we could even offer to buy him a meal, the owner walked out with a burrito and a drink for him—no hesitation, just genuine kindness. Businesses like this deserve our support! T/aco isn’t just serving up incredible food; they’re making a difference. Don’t miss it next time you’re in Boulder!

Love this place! The most delicious tacos in town at a super affordable price. Great outdoor patio. Awesome staff.

The food here is better and more interesting (and better priced) than other Pearl Street/Downtown Boulder restaurants I’ve been to recently, and there is a lot of choice on the menu whether you eat meat or you’re vegetarian. I thought the fish tacos in particular were really tasty. And, the host and waitstaff clearly have a focus on providing friendly and attentive service. The only downside I noticed was how loud it was inside the restaurant, which made it hard to talk, but I think the noise level is probably pretty typical of restaurants and bars in the area. It’s just lively and busy as opposed to quiet and cozy. Would definitely check out Taco Tuesday if I’m in the area!

Absolutely love this place! I have been coming to T/aco for taco Tuesdays with friends for years, and have always had a blast. Recently, I came here with my family to celebrate my doctorate and we could not have received better service! The food/drinks were wonderful and the staff were incredibly attentive and kind. The vibe and atmosphere are also great, whether on a hot summers day or under the heaters on a fall evening. All in all, it was a great evening and I would absolutely recommend T/aco. The guacamole and cotija cheese tacos are my favorites!

In town for a visit and this was on my list to try. We came during happy hour which was nice. I got the strawberry house margarita as my drink, which was excellent. We started with their house made chips and their salsa and guacamole. Their chipotle salsa was pretty good and the mild was to liquid. I got the duck taco and the pork taco, I really like the flavors of the duck one. My boyfriend got the fish which was delicious They give you a lot of meat on each one. Definitely recommend to people.

Food was excellent. Outstanding taste and it's the type of place where you'd want order seconds although you're already full. The presentation of the food was visually creative and pleasing. Care was obviously taken with regard to how the food was placed on the plate. For example, we ordered 9 tacos and they were all presented on one board without touching or being sloppy. The variety of sauces (the pack with nachos) is creative and tastes good. The guacamole was outstanding i taste as well. Attention to details are important for this restaurant in terms of the taste of their food and service. Service was 5-stars. Friendly and engaging staff. Attentive to your needs and frequent check-ins to ensure your satisfaction. Options to eat indoors or outside. Atmosphere is cozy and what you would expect for a restaurant near a university campus. The food is so good that I would definitely return! 5-stars!

If your okay with spending a lot of money for a little food it’s your place. Their street tacos were so small and cost more then there competitors. We thought we were getting queso with chips for an appetizer but the chips cost extra. What’s up with that. Our waiter was good. To get satisfied for a dinner yo would have to order six tacos, and that would cost $30.00 and no courtesy chips like most Mexican restaurants. Their Margaritas were good and reasonable. If your in a hurry that’s a plus too.

Efrain's of Boulder Mexican Restaurant is a hidden gem known for its Northern Chihuahua cuisine, featuring flavorful chili verde and refreshing margaritas. Located on the outskirts of Boulder, this restaurant has gained a reputation as the go-to spot for authentic Mexican food in Boulder County. Efrain's prides itself on serving freshly made dishes daily, steering clear of chain-like practices.
Incredible chili verde. Like best I’ve ever had. Spicy, tangy, and the pork is lean and flavorful. Wouldn’t change a thing. 🌶️

So my waiter suggested something different on the menu from what I was trying to order and gave me exactly what I wanted to a T. As im not easy to just give in being a picky eater I had him explain the preparation in each dish and in the end he was right. I was super thankful in this moment cuz I got to enjoy my meal right away without something being wrong what ever it may be. The mango margarita literally taste like a fresh mango! I got the combo meal with two chicken enchiladas with pork green chili and rice ! And cheese dip to put on the rice and eat with the chips! So good..gota try! Good atmosphere too with outdoor and indoor seating!

In town for the week and this was exactly what I was looking for for dinner. Efrain’s Burrito was fantastic (with the chile verde of course!). I might be back before the week’s out.
Tristan P — Google review
Supremely disappointing. Quesadilla was uncut, has melted cheese on top instead of inside, as well as all the salad toppings on top making it soggy. Street tacos were saturated in oil. Fajitas were essentially steamed and wet, and meat was very tough and unseasoned. Staff is apathetic. No offer for discount. How the hell is this place still in business?

Efrain's of Boulder is fantastic. The food is very delicious and genuinely authentic Mexican. Every dish I tried was packed with flavor. It is clear they use fresh ingredients and traditional recipes. If you are looking for real, high-quality Mexican food in the area, this is the place to go. Simple as that. A great meal and highly recommended.

We LOVE Efrain’s! They always hit the spot with their delicious fajitas, tostadas, and enchiladas! My husband and I eat here once a week, and it never disappoints. It can be pretty busy on a Friday or Saturday night, but we’ve never waited all that long on busier evenings. The service is always top-notch and everyone is very friendly and kind. I also love that they keep the chips and salsa coming! I absolutely love their Boulder Margarita, and they have about 15+ different selections of margaritas to choose from so everyone is happy! My favorite meal is the chicken fajitas. You will not be disappointed-they give you a massive portion with lots of delicious guacamole, beans, rice, and sour cream to enjoy your fajitas with, which I really enjoy. Best fajitas in Boulder hands down. My husband loves their blue corn enchiladas. I would also like to mention that they are gluten free conscious, and have many items that are 100% gluten free to choose from! This is a Boulder gem of a restaurant!

Visited this restaurant on our way back from Rocky Mountain National Park. I thought this going to be mediocre food. Easy access from road, staffs are so nice, very neat place. We ordered Efrain ( super delicious, must try, very big plate), beef burrito ( spicy and delicious, they can adjust the spice), beef chimichanga ( best one we had), vegetarian taco( so tasty, spicy lovers ask for more, their sauce is very tasty). This is one of the best Mexican food we had, its not Tex-Mex, if you are passing through Denver or Boulder definitely try this place. Not at all expensive, quantity is really good. We will definitely try for our next visit.
Traveling S — Google review
Flavorful southwestern cuisine (of course, from the Mexican perspective, it's northwestern). Delicious chilis, shredded chicken. The food can be as hot as you wanted to be, depending on your taste. Enjoy the flavors of the dishes, which are strong but not overwhelming. I enjoyed the delicious blue corn tortillas at the base of my dish. Even the chips they provide for the tables as a starter are quite thick and substantial, paired with liquidity salsa that has a bit of heat to it. The walls gleam with the distinctive turquoise and gold colors of the Southwest, and pottery and baskets from the region line the shelves. There is the overall sense that this restaurant seems uniquely committed to the customer experience, from the food to the overall ambience. If you like southwestern food even a little, come here and you will not be disappointed.

Wow, what an experience!!! Hands down one best restaurants in Colorado. We traveled in from Houston Texas for our friend’s birthday, and we were super pleased with his partner’s decision on choosing this restaurant . I am in service Industry so I’m Super particular about food, wine, and service. We were greeted by the manager Rose Who was super friendly, and accommodating. Our server Isaiah walked us through the entire menu, And gave great recommendations, his service was definitely a flawless 10 💜 food was exquisite, and cooked perfectly . The coolest part about this whole experience is all the chefs came out, gave us hugs and took pictures with us. If you’re looking for a place with an amazing view, delicious food, and Outstanding service this is definitely your place. Thank you, to all the staff for making it a memorable experience

This place is amazing! From the moment you walk in the experience starts. The atmosphere is great and the staff were so kind, welcoming, and helpful. We sat on the rooftop with an incredible view and ordered a bunch of tapas, compartir, and a main dish. The flavors were smart, detailed, and came together perfectly. The recommended wine pairings were also on par. We had a great time and definitely will be back! Thank you for a memorable evening!

I have been to brunch a couple of times, so dinner was a new experience - Isaiah was a wonderful server, with great suggestions. The meal was good - we had gildas and octopus to start, both delicious, and the gin & tonic cart is one of my favorite things at Corrida - the Indigo is amazing! The wine with the steak was excellent! And another excellent server on the digestif cart, we had a great experience - always the best service!

A special nod to the 🐙! It was so PERFECTLY cooked I nearly planted my face right in the dish. My husband was against the idea. Overall, we had a lovely and relaxing evening. Outdoor seating was lovely, but full length windows so inside is rad too. Restaurant
Avery Brewing Company, established in 1993, is a renowned brewery located in Boulder. The brewery offers an array of artisanal beers, including popular choices like White Rascal Belgian-Style White Ale and Ellies Brown Ale. Visitors can enjoy informative tap room and brewery tours to learn about the beer-making process and sample various products.
Avery was an awesome brewery stop on our way up to Fort Collins. There was plenty of parking and the space itself is quite large with indoor and outdoor seating. There's a full food menu and tons of beer options on tap. All of the beers we tried were fresh and tasty, and the chips we got were nice. I'd appreciate the instructions to be a little clearer when walking in (see the host stand vs head straight to a table etc) but otherwise no complaints. Nice spot!

Loved the outdoor patio! The food was wonderful, especially the fennel slaw and the blackened salmon blt. The self guided brewery tour was a nice sneak peak of their process. Love that they’re dog and cyclist friendly. Close to Boulder. Huge selection of awesome beers brewed on site.

Great beer, friendly staff and a comfortable outdoor atmosphere to drink beer with friends. They have a huge selection of on draft beer and are kind enough to let you taste before you buy. We didn’t have any food but it looked great. I’d go back with friends or family, it’s a spacious, great brewery.

My husband and I had a great time on our tour of Avery Brewing! Gabe was a fantastic guide and provided thoughtful information about the brewing process and what sets Avery apart from the rest. We enjoyed trying all the tastings and discussing the flavor profiles of each type of beer. We'd highly recommend this brewery tour to anyone visiting the Boulder area!

I’ve been a loyal customer of Avery Brewing for years, but my recent visit with my family, including my newborn baby, left me deeply disappointed. During our meal, I went to change my baby in the women’s restroom and found the only changing table in unacceptable condition: it was covered in used wipes, a used diaper, paper towels, and was next to a bucket of cleaning chemicals. Given the state of the facility, I made the decision to change my baby discretely on the ground, on a sanitary pad, near our patio table and behind our stroller. While doing this, the on-duty manager approached and told me I was not allowed to change my newborn baby there. I approached her again after I had finished the task and explained that I had checked the restroom first and even showed her a photo of the unsanitary conditions. She told me she didn’t care and that it was the rule, no diaper changes outside, apparently no matter the condition of the provided facilities. She also suggested my husband try the men’s room instead, which felt dismissive and unhelpful. What was most upsetting wasn’t just the lack of a clean space to care for my child, but the complete lack of understanding or empathy from the manager. Her attitude completely undercut the excellent service we had received from our waiter. He earned the redemptive second star in this review. As a parent and longtime customer, I expect better. We won’t be returning, and I hope Avery takes this feedback seriously, maintains cleaner facilities, and trains staff to support families with small children in a more respectful and reasonable way.

Always a great experience but Knox steps it up every time! Great service, he is very attentive and personable! I love when you go to a taproom and they actually want you try new beers without it seeming like a task. Keep it up we will be back for the delicious beer and hope Knox is there also! Lucile's Creole Cafe is a charming eatery that offers a taste of Cajun-Creole cuisine in a cozy setting. The menu features classic dishes like red beans and rice with andouille sausage, blackened salmon, crawfish etouffee, and more.
Really amazing brunch! Had the mountain trout dish and was very impressed. I would have liked the portions to be a little bit larger for a brunch place but the flavor and service made up for it. The best biscuits you can find in Boulder and maybe even in Denver. A boulder must try.

This place is a must-try when in Boulder! The food, drinks, dog-friendly patio, and views were all perfection. Reasonably priced and the best part was our amazing server Sara - she made us feel so welcomed, was attuned to our every need, and had great recommendations! Will definitely be back 😊

Such unique plates that you aren’t going to get anywhere else. Breakfast potatoes are unique and consistently great. My go to order is the Eggs New Orleans and it always hits, though last time I switched it up and got the Eggs Pontchartrain and that was good too. But in all honestly, I’m mostly there for the biscuits and potatoes. Fresh squeezed juices are good here too! Boulder location atmosphere is one of my favorite of all its locations. Consider yourself extra lucky if you end up on the porch!
Michelle R — Google review
I came here at the recommendation of a friend, and I am very grateful that I did, because this is a bustling and vibrant slice of New Orleans vividness in the heart of Boulder. This place is admittedly quite crowded, and at peak times, there are significant weights for a table. I was fortunate enough that I only had to wait about 10 minutes or so, and I was ushered into a lovely little table surrounded with Cajun paraphernalia and a delightful, glamorously nostalgic sense of early 20th century ambience. The food is varied and provides a Boulder twist on New Orleans cuisine, and I am particularly enamored with the blueberry southern pancakes, which have a grainy authenticity to them that feels quite hardy. I will conclude by saying that this is also a fun place for eavesdropping, if you are so inclined, as the tables are close and everyone around has quite interesting stories. This place feels both energetic and classy, and I quite recommend it for anyone who wants a savory breakfast or just a slice of New Orleans delights.

Lucile’s Creole Cafe is a great breakfast or lunch restaurant. It’s in an old Victorian house that gives it a homey atmosphere. The servers were friendly, polite, and helpful. They returned often to the table to refresh our drinks or ask if we needed anything else. The food was delicious and not at all the common fair you find in most breakfast lunch places these days. I had the rice pudding porridge and my guest had Eggs New Orleans. There was plenty of food and it was quite tasty.

im gonna gush on this restaurant a bit. so we are big fans of anything cajun or creole. my littlest is BIG into cheesy grits, shrimp and grits, buttered grits, grits and gumbo. if you can name the grits dish they'll eat it. my aunt knowing there is a complete adoration for grits and beignets suggested this and it did not disappoint. Boulder does not have a reputation for being southern and i was completely thrown when google led me to a house. i saw the tables outside on the porch but i was a little like do i just go in? do i wait? like you don't just go waltzing into a house there is just something about a restaurant in a house that screams come on in and sit a spell and wait for meemaws supper or breakfast ! we ordered hoe cakes and our favorite cheese grits and the food came rather quickly. the waitress was friendly and the jams and sauces were homemade and you could tell. there is one kinda unusual thing about this place and that is when you pay its a dollar more if you use a credit card. not sure if thats tip or if its the restaurants way of covering the service fees associated with credit cards

This food definitely catered to the American palette. Everything was overly sweet, The Cowboy Ruben was okay… very very sweet. The Straw Burger was just okay… a lot of bread and a lot of cheese. Spicy from the jalapeños but no flavor. My fries were a little stale and my husbands. Probably wouldn’t come again.

Such a fun experience! This placed was rec’d by some friends who used to live here. It’s a bit hole-in-the wall in all the best ways. Seems to be a Boulder institution. Definitely a must when visiting Boulder.

Went here a few weeks ago and still dreaming of their skillet chocolate chip cookie… it’s a MUST! The food is great, not the best burger I’ve ever had but pretty good regardless. The lavender cocktail was splendid, as well. Their ambience is probably the best part (other than the cookie), filled with eclectic hand-painted murals. On their video board, they have stories at the Sink, which gives it a very homey feel. I loved learning about its history. Highly recommend for a unique bite in the area!

Outstanding everything! The location is ideal and the bar is both, inside and patio. Our server was on point and the others pitched in as a team, very helpful. We sat on the patio and ordered from the BEST happy hour we have found. The house margaritas tasted so fresh and $5 was a deal. The HH nachos and potato tacos were incredible, the flavors and high quality ingredients were popping. What a great place to chill and watch Pearl Street walk by, we can't wait to return!

We came here to celebrate national tequila day, and a fundraising effort for Ukraine. We were easily drawn because this is one of our favorite restaurants in Boulder. Luke did a great job as our friendly server, he just didn’t warn us that the happy hour portions were so ample. We enjoyed the pint margaritas, the potato tacos, and the quesabirria tacos which we couldn’t finish because there was so much. But we’ll gladly eat them for breakfast as we took home what we couldn’t finish. The qusabirria tacos come with a very rich, savory consumé, and we even dipped our potato tacos into it because we couldn’t resist. We spoke with Jaken, the assistant general manager, who was also very friendly, and we told them how well everything was presented and how much we enjoyed our happy hour/dinner on the patio. We’ll def be back.

I don’t even know where to begin. The ambiance is excellent. From the fun and artsy decor to the open floor plan where the inside and outside patio are separated by an open bar. The staff have all been super friendly and knowledgeable. We are visiting from california to move our daughter into college and happened to walk by one day and we were drawn in immediately. We have now eaten here three times in one week…. It is THAT good. They have a great happy hour menu and their brunch and dinner match the same energy. Because we had been in three times their Chef named Jason personally, came out to meet us because he was moved by the fact that we loved the food so much. He took the time during a busy time in the restaurant to go over all of the things that we had ordered and even made us two special things that we had not ordered because he thought we would enjoy them, which we did immensely. We were lucky enough to be able to have the same server two days in a row, and her name is Lilly and she is a ray of sunshine and went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of. I am very confident that she treats every guest this way and makes you feel like you’re a VIP. The various things we ordered over the last few days were Pazole, Hamachi Crudo, Queso ( best we have ever had), Caesar salad, deviled eggs that were honestly the most creative and delicious ones I’ve ever had, cornbread with chorizo gravy ( 🤯 ) and Sopapillas with agave butter and quince jam ( non negotiable at the end of the meal 10000/10 ) please treat yourself to a meal here at least once!!!!

My daughter and I had lunch here on a whim. We were told that we'd have a 15 minute wait for a table so we sat at the bar which turned out to be a blessing as Alex (P?) served us and made two amazing recommendations. The tacos were as good as anything I've eaten and the sampler of the salsas and queso was incredible. My daughter is a little fussier and had the cheese quesadillas which she loved. It reminded me of a slight version of Meow Wolf as being a visual interactive experience. My husband and I were looking for a place to get a burger, play some pool, and have a beer and genuine good time; and boy did we find the right place!

Stopped in Dark Horse after hiking nearby since we heard such great things about this dive bar. We absolutely loved the vibe of the place - so cool and everything being self serve was nice too. I got a cheeseburger and it was okay. Not bad, not great. The fries were pretty bland and the ranch wasn’t my favorite. My friends got the chicken wings which they absolutely loved. It was very inexpensive which I appreciated. If I ever found myself visiting Boulder again, I’d consider trying something else!
Ariana L — Google review
Go for the wings! I like that they're whole too and not shy on the sauce. Good prices. They DO NOT allow dogs on the patio so just keep that in mind. Kitchen cashier did not seem like they wanted to be there 😂 but I get it. Kitchen, on the other hand, seemed like they were having a great time and they served up some good food. Also had a burger; not the best in town but it was solid enough for me to eat the whole thing and for $9 I'm not going to complain. Still thinking about the wings though! Nice atmosphere of course.

I used to go here almost every Tuesday for burger madness when I lived in Boulder. Love the interior and burgers and fries are great. Met friends for lunch to reminisce. It wasn't crowded like it used to be, but the food is still good and still love the atmosphere!
Dar H — Google review
Don’t go if you want someone to come take your order and bring you your food/drinks. 😂 Love the atmosphere! Food was very reasonable and came up fast, even though we were there during dinner on a weeknight. Fries were delicious and my blue cheese burger was perfectly cooked. Can’t wait to come back to try something else!

Why on Earth any of these building developers would demolish this place out blows my mind. This has been a boulder staple forever and it is truly amazing and unique. Especially with the Sundance film festival coming to town, This has the perfect movie-like environment.
Jenni K — Google review
Pretty good food. We had baby back ribs and steak, both were well prepared and the portions were good to share between two people. There is no take service and it can be hard to come by seating during busy hours. The atmosphere was good. A bit loud but not excessive; good for families with little children.

Zoe Ma Ma is a popular soup shop known for its homemade noodles, dim sum, and daily specials. The colorful eatery offers a variety of tasty Chinese street food bites such as pork belly bao buns and pan-fried potstickers. The owner's dedication to using superior ingredients and authentic recipes has earned the restaurant recognition, including a nomination in the James Beard Awards. This cozy Colorado eatery was opened by a son who wanted to share his mother's homemade recipes with the world.
Tasty food at a reasonable price in downtown Boulder. The chicken noodle soup is my all-time favorite. I also appreciate the built-in service fee, which removes the pressure of tipping decisions and makes the dining experience smoother and more convenient.
Lusi Y — Google review
Zoe Ma Ma is a great spot for a flavorful and satisfying meal. We tried the Dan Dan noodles and the pork belly with rice, and both dishes were packed with great flavor. The noodles had just the right amount of spice and richness, while the pork belly was tender and paired perfectly with the rice. Portions were generous, and everything felt fresh and well-prepared. It’s the kind of place that hits the spot when you’re craving something hearty and comforting.

My husband and I shared: - Dan Dan Main - Cold Sesame Noodles - Pork Belly Bao - Roast Duck Bao - Pearl Meatball - Ma Ma's Potstickers - Vegan Dumplings - Goji Berry & Raisin Rice Cake I found this spot to be a little inconsistent. I absolutely loved the Goji Berry & Raisin Rice Cake, Pearl Meatball, both baos, and the potstickers. These could complete with the best Asian food I've had anywhere. The bigger dishes were a little disappointing to me. They weren't bad, but they weren't nearly as good as the smaller plates for me. I'd still happily come back to try the rest of the menu.
Jacqueline T — Google review
I tried Zoe Ma Ma in Boulder and ordered the chicken pho it was pretty good! The broth on its own was okay, but the toppings and seasonings you can add yourself really made it better. I also got the dumplings, but they weren’t as good as I was expecting. The service was okay, though it took quite a while for my order to be ready. Just a heads-up when you come in, you order at the counter, pick your own seat, and they’ll call your name when your food is ready. Overall, not bad for a casual spot, but a few things could’ve been better.
Jackie B — Google review
Tasty food at a reasonable price right on Pearl. I love the menu's simplicity which is based on the owner's mom's signature Taiwanese recipes. I also love that it's served on simple plates. It lets the food speak for itself. Super yummy. We ordered the Stir-fry Garlic Choy Sum and added chicken to it and the Pork Belly Bao and Roast Duck Bao. It wasn't too busy when we went, but I could see it getting crowded.
Tierney K — Google review
I ordered the Dan Dan Mian which was good. The forced 15% tip was very disappointing since you order like a fast food place here. Counter order and they don’t even bring your food or silverware to your table.
Alec G — Google review
Wow! What a unique take on the traditional Chinese food! There's no sweet and sour chicken here! I had no idea about Chinese curry and many of the other delicious items on the menu. We also loved that they don't charge extra for tips like most places do now. The service was great, the place was clean, and the food was delicious.
CSS — Google review
We got the duck wonton soup, the Lu Ro Fan, and the pot stickers. The wonton soup broth was not as salty/umami as I would have liked, but the duck was tender and the wontons were yummy. The rice dish was tasty. We both were unimpressed with the potstickers. The service was very nice and informative on recommendations. The interior is also very nice.

Backcountry Pizza & Tap House is a cozy spot that offers a farmhouse ambiance where friends can gather for delicious meals and good company. The restaurant takes pizza-making seriously, offering build-your-own options as well as specialty pies like the Mr. Pesto and The Works. Located near Folsom Field, it boasts an extensive beer selection with over 60 rotating taps and 300 bottles to choose from.
Great pizza! They were able to accommodate our large party on short notice. We were not disappointed. The gaming room was a great surprise. We were able to hang out and play some games and have some fun after dinner. I definitely recommend eating/playing here!

We loved this place so much. We’re from Louisiana and wanted to grab a quick bite before a hike and Steve took great care of us. The food, atmosphere, and the quality of service was amazing. Steve is the best bartender and conversationalist!!! We’ll definitely be back.
Lillian P — Google review
Always a great time here. I have come here both with work and personal groups and the staff is always welcoming and friendly. Tried and true menu always is great to pick from, I personally go for the Tender Chickens most times, with a random app chosen to mix it up. The pizza is legendary, and perfect after a day of skiing, hiking, drinking, or all three. The beer assortment is also legendary, and you will have no shortage of unique and flavorful beer taps to choose from. They also have hard liquor options for those needing more motivation in life. Such a great place to catch football games. A tucked away Boulder staple for good reason, and glad to have it be part of the community.
Bradley S — Google review
The pizza and service at this tap house punches above its weight. This is a billboard for “don’t judge a book by its cover.” The building is old and crestfallen, but the pizza is excellent and the friendly service is fast.
Lori W — Google review
It is in an older building but the staff we had were amazing. We loved the pizza, it was hot, lots of toppings, excellent sauce, and huge. We also tried some appetizers this time and they were delicious. But the fully loaded tots were missing something. My granddaughter enjoyed the fried Mac & Cheese. It is a bit pricey, but the pizza is worth it! 😋

Terrible service. Nobody greeted us at the entrance, we were seated at a dirty table in the playroom, and the waitress disappeared after giving us menus. We never saw her again, so we ended up leaving without even eating.

Mitchell was an awesome server, super friendly and attentive. Both the garden pizza and Buffalo chicken pizza was great. The beer selection is huge too. I personally like sour beers and they had plenty of options. We’ll definitely be back

I found the pizza pretty bad, and it took a long time to come out. The atmosphere was nice though. I'd probably come here for a beer again, and just get something else on the menu to try it. I just got a slice and It didn't seem fresh, likely frozen. Brooklyn pizza down the road is so much better

Curry N Kebob is a charming, family-owned restaurant tucked away in a strip mall near the Movement climbing gym. They serve up traditional Indian dishes like tandoori chicken, shrimp and roasted kobacha pumpkin, and chana saag with basmati rice, naan, an onion baji, and a daily dessert special for lunch at an affordable price.
Great tasting food. I ordered extra spicy chicken masala. I was not disappointed. It really was spicy.

Filthy. They treat the entire alley as a dumpster. Trash everywhere. They wash their kitchen equipment in the alley. I’ve seen it multiple times. Don’t trust the food quality here. I wish I could give negative stars.
Joe R — Google review
Wow bad! Agree with other negatives. This place has changed! The lamb masala was supposed to be in a creamy tomato sauce, but instead had some yellow soupy goop. The tandoori chicken was half the size we have received in the past. The pictures of the alleyway and how dirty it is made me ill. I don’t know what happened because we have always loved their food. Too bad. We won’t be back.

This place was recommended by an Indian friend. We took another Indian friend to this place and found it a decent place for Indian food. I overall liked the food. Bramble & Hare is a cozy and warmly decorated spot in Boise, offering eclectic seasonal fare, microbrews, wine, and cocktails. It opened in 2012 as the sister restaurant of Black Cat Bistro by Chef Eric and Jill Skokan. The restaurant serves dinner seven days a week with a focus on organic produce and heritage Mulefoot pork.
exceptional farm to table dining experience. we cant wait to go back. from the first bite of homemade sourdough to the last bite of dessert everything was amazing. service was on point, seasonings were bold and flavorful. family style farm fresh veggies served with every entree were a delight.
Robin H — Google review
Visited Boulder to try the monthly harvest dinner, but was left underwhelmed (not an unusual experience with the city’s fine dining establishments). We liked the farm to table concept, especially the night’s theme of squashes and squash blossoms. Dinner started well with the cocktail, amuse bouche and first two appetizers - squash carpaccio and stuffed squash blossom. The main was however disappointing. My partner is vegetarian and I’m a pescatarian so we were offered salmon. (My partner would have preferred an actual vegetarian dish but was probably intimidated by the server’s aloofness.) The only thing remarkable about it was the server placing the dirty cutlery from the previous dish, which had a sticky pistachio tarator sauce on it, to be re-used for the main. Dessert was a stone cold, rock hard zucchini cake. Cozy decor. Service was cool and efficient. Gratuity of 22% is automatically applied. Ultimately a middling experience that was not worth the hour’s drive to get there (and definitely not another hour to get away from).

As a board-certified nutritionist, I can tell you that if ever there was a quintessential farm to table, nutritionally aligned, agriculturally-centered place to dine and “feel good” - This is it. I have traveled the world to find healthy, beautiful food and wandered in here to experience the divine salted radishes - they taste like cool ranch Doritos 😂 and the director showed me a video of THEIR pigs grazing in the sunflower pastures. I consumed this fuel and felt so satisfied with life 🥰 In other words…highly recommend!!
Jenna D — Google review
Bramble & Hare offers a clean and cozy atmosphere, we particularly enjoyed the fresh dishes. The food is not the best in the city but it is always a great option for a classy dinner.
Eddie B — Google review
Wow, What a gem of a place in boulder. It’s a cozy, intimate, and charming atmosphere. They have really unique art displayed all over the restaurant, the coolest piece in my opinion is the revolving shelves behind the bar. As for the food, I am so happy to see a restaurant that truly honors their sustainability principles. They source the vast majority of their ingredients from a farm only 15 minutes away in Longmont. You can really taste the freshness. One of the best things I’ve eaten there is the pork and the cheesecake. Service feels very intentional and warm. The waitstaff there are really personable and I truly felt like my waiter cared about my experience while dining.
Jeffrey K — Google review
My husband and I came for our anniversary. The staff were super attentive, called beforehand to get more information including any dietary restrictions, which I truly appreciated. The service was great. The atmosphere was nice, but I think I would’ve liked a teeny bit more room on the love seat side (I am fat, though, so take that if it applies to you). Unfortunately, the food was no where near worth the price point. It was mid at best. Mostly lacking flavor. Some of the cuts of meat were just simply not cooked well, pork belly appetizer with un-rendered fat and overcooked pork tenderloin. I dessert was not great either. It was disappointing because we save high end dining experiences for very special occasions and it was a bummer to have to pay so much for such a mediocre culinary experience. First and last dining experience here, sadly.
Zena O — Google review
We celebrated my daughter’s Masters Thesis Defense with a wonderful meal at Bramble and Hare. The meal began with a complementary glass of crisp, bubbly champagne. I also ordered a Pollinator Punch which was a sweet and sour delight. We would be hard pressed to chose a favorite appetizer or entree. The heritage pork, fois gras, salad and raison bread all received rave reviews. We were lucky enough to have Chloe as our server who graciously explained vegan options and answered many menu questions. The portions were generous, so not only did we forgo dessert, but took food home. The final delight of the evening was Chloe’s heartfelt congratulations and the gift of a card signed by Bramble and Hare’s staff. Thank you all for making our celebration so special.
Kimberly S — Google review
This place has quite a few great reviews and recommendations but unfortunately this was not our experience. They are farm to table which means their menu is ever rotating which I appreciate. But, the food was bland and for their reputation I was caught off guard to the overall quality. We do have a dairy allergy and they accommodated it but it's hard to believe dairy would take that much away from their flavors. Overall disappointing for the reviews and what they are known for. We will not be back. The drinks were the highlight of our "meal". They had vegetarian, gluten free, and were able to accommodate no dairy. The portions are a really good size but the flavor and overall flavor profiles coming together lacked. That night they had duck which ended up being extremely gamey which can turn a lot of people away from game meat because the flavor profile did not compliment the natural flavor. My compliments to the manager that night, he busted his tail helping his bartender, making rounds, and talking with customers. Paid Parking is limited in the area due to the location. They offer a three course meal for $75 and do automatically add 22% gratitude for parties of 6 and up. There is a higher chance of having a wheelchair/limited accessibility in the space but some entry ways might be tight. The resturant ambiance is wonderful! Make sure you make a reservation because they are typically booked out and have only limited spots at the bar but the bartender was extremely busy that night.

Originally named Fior di Latte, which translates to "flower of milk," Gelato Boy prides itself on using minimal ingredients—just dairy, sugar, and starch—to create authentic gelato that captures the essence of Italy.
Gelato is so good. Multiple locations through boulder. Just love the raspberry dark chocolate chip. Hazelnut crunch and lavender. I would’ve tried it all It can get busy due to its location and staff No real place to lounge at the two locations I went

Lovely gelato and prompt friendly service. Space to sit inside. Gelato pretty smooth but not the smoothest I've had. Definitely worth a visit though. The flavours were good although not so innovative - maybe something that reflected the local region?

This is hands down one of the best frozen desserts I've had in the Denver area. My husband and I shared Dulce de Leche, Birthday Cake, and Gooey Butter Cake + Caramel. I couldn't pick a favorite. All 3 were fantastic. I will absolutely be back for more!

Really lovely gelato place, ended up going twice with a big group. Especially enjoyed the pistachio and dark chocolate. They also have quite a few dairy free options. Will be back!

Great spot if you want lots of variety gluten free gelato options! I am always looking for gelato with different things mixed in and to be able to try cheesecake and cookies and cream was a treat! The other ones looked delicious as well. They also have GF cones and brownies you can get. Would 100% recommend the salty cookies & cream! Ate my gelato so quickly I forgot to take a picture until I was halfway done
Casey G — Google review
Brilliant flavors (15 with 5 vegan), refreshing taste and texture, good prices ($6.75 for 3 scoops) and they allow sampling. Collectively our favorite flavors were the lavender poppy (unique and delicious), chocolate hazelnut crunch (done really well), and the gooey butter cake with caramel (rich and wonderful). The triple berry sorbet and dark chocolate sorbet were also pretty good. The staff were friendly, there was ample seating and they also had brownies, waffles and milkshakes. Only small drawback was one of my flight scoops had a few shavings of ice, likely from water freezing after scooping with a wet scooper.

Friendly service. I’m celiac and they were very knowledgeable about gluten allergies and how to keep you safe. They will scoop from a new container in the back. The gelato was delicious. I would definitely recommend.

Yucky with over powering sweetness. I have had a lot of gelatos in my life and this was by far the worst. I got the Sicilian pistachio and it was so disgustingly sweet. The sugar overpowered every thing else. There was no richness to the gelato either. We visit Boulder a lot and will avoid this place next time.

We kept going back to this place! Great sandwiches with vegan and GF options too. I had the spicy vegan with GF bread which was delicious. The prices were a bit high for just the sandwich (a side option of mixed green salad for example could have been nice) but the quality of the sanwich and the bread was good.

I got the prosciutto and apple on a baguette which was delicious. My cousin got the turkey sandwich and wasn't pleased. I tasted it myself and it was meh. Their Play on Words name has made them a favorite among college students and locals. They are particularly well-known for their delicious gluten-free cupcakes and offer many of their cookies in gluten-free versions as well.
Great local cookies. I liked that they use natural ingredients. They bake the cookies while you wait, so right out of the oven. I like that the cookies are not huge like some of the other chain cookie stores. Just the right amount! We will be back, every flavor we tried, we thought was great.

Came in and got a coffee and oatmeal raisin cookie. The cookie did not have any raisins. Asked the very kind lady working if the cookie was supposed to have raisins. She said yet, but I might have just got one without raisins. Nice people, small cookie with no raisins. Probably not get their food if you go.

We are from Minneapolis, and we stopped in for a late night treat. They have gluten free options for all of their sandwiches. This was the first time I’ve had a Cuban since I went gluten free, and it was amazing!
Julia A — Google review
As a person that eats GF and DF, I needed to check this place out while I was in town. I got a gluten-free and dairy-free chocolate cup cake with white frosting. My partner got a regular German chocolate cupcake. As we were checking out, we saw the cookies sign on the wall and asked about the GF/DF cookies. They needed to be baked so we waited 10 min for them. Got the gluten-free chocolate one and the gluten-free and dairy-free peanut butter ones. My partner ate his cupcake while we waited for the cookies. I took all mine home as the cookies were freshly baked and needed a few to cool down. I tried the cookies when we got home, and they had a weird flavor. I thought it was me and closed them up to try the next day. I tried them again the next day and still this odd flavor to them. I cannot put my finger on the flavor I just didn’t like it and disregarded both cookies. I asked my partner about his cupcake he said it was fine. I tried my cupcake, and I can tell you the cake itself was AMAZING! It had good flavor, was moist and all around yummy. But I can also tell you I hated the frosting; it tasted like it was made from Crisco and I promptly discarded it. I hate to do this when it is a small bakery, but I feel I must be honest. Parking was also difficult at night when a dance class was in session.

Hands down my favorite cupcakes, haven't found anything as yummy in 10+ years. A must have treat anytime we visit Boulder. I was a devout red velvet gal until I tried the coconut this past trip and I think it might be my new favorite.

My wife and I stopped on two separate occasions to Boulder Baked for some wonderful cookies. She heard about this place and knew I would enjoy the fact that they are made to order. We were able to order and pickup these cookies about 10-15 minutes after ordering. Pro Tip: Wait 25-30 minutes before eating these cookies as most of these cookies will melt right in your hand if you try to eat them right when you get them. My favorite flavor was the Peanut Butter M&M while my wife loved the Red Velvet. These cookies are definitely delivered on taste and quality. I would highly recommend coming here for your sweet tooth fix.

Rosetta Hall is a luxurious food hall located in downtown Boulder, offering an array of local and international cuisine, as well as cocktails and a rooftop terrace. The space features plush velvet seating, elegant lighting, and marble countertops, creating a refined atmosphere. With eight restaurant concepts including Italian, Middle Eastern, Thai, and a patisserie for delectable desserts, it serves as a culinary incubator for promising chefs.
Hands down my favorite place in Colorado to grab a drink and some food. I've been here a half dozen times or so because I'm never in Boulder... but every time I'm in town I make sure to come here. I love the international influenced food options in each individual "stand" and the liquor selection is amazing. As a whiskey drinker I have so many options. The rooftop has lounging beds, another bar, and little fireplaces too. I found the night life in this place especially on Friday/Saturday to be amazing. Lots of fun people, excitement, and great ambience. Ohhhh... and I experienced a first here in my life. Genderless bathrooms. Walking in after a few drinks and seeing ladies fixing themselves at the mirror made me instantly feel like a perv that walked into the wrong bathroom. I did a triple take of the bathroom sign before I realized it's for everyone. Absolute perfection. Keep doing what you're doing Rosetta Hall.
T.J. — Google review
Rosetta Hall is a charming and aesthetically pleasing venue, offering a unique and inviting atmosphere. The concept behind the space is thoughtfully designed, creating a warm and welcoming environment that enhances the overall dining experience. The food options are diverse and impressive, with a broad selection that spans across various cuisines, including Asian, American, and Latin-inspired dishes. Each dish is crafted with attention to detail, delivering an exceptional blend of flavors that are sure to satisfy a range of tastes. However, while the culinary offerings were undeniably outstanding, the service did not fully meet the same high standard. For instance, when we ordered a Sprite, it was notably flat and lacked the refreshing effervescence one would expect. Additionally, the water served was lukewarm, which detracted from the overall experience. While these service-related issues were minor, they did impact what could have been a more seamless dining experience. In summary, while Rosetta Hall offers an incredible variety of delicious food in an aesthetically captivating space, there is room for improvement in the service and beverage quality to match the excellence of the culinary offerings.

Great atmosphere, good food (pastries and Shawarma), decent cocktails. This joint gets clubby late, and has excellent views. I have been here many times and will continue to do so, especially for that sweet sweet patio

Rosetta Hall is a cool food hall with different restaurant options. We had pasta and focaccia from the Italian spot and finished with a delicious chocolate cake from another vendor. Everything was tasty — perfect place for lunch!

Rosetta Hall offers food from around the world in one space. Nice option for picky eaters. Liked the French cruller and the cheese pupusas are pretty hardy. Nice rooftop From Foundry to Rosetta. Design looks very pretty Its another great spot while in Boulder and Pearl St

A food court where you serve yourself from the bar and the speciality cuisine of your choice. The bar has nice options and South American section was delish . I was underwhelmed by the Pad Thai presentation or any other dishes we had at the table. Not sure how Japanese food was.Desserts available.Top roof by reservation.public parking across the street is $3 and weekend free on the curve.

This is my favorite bar in all of Boulder! The bartenders are so nice and talkative, the food options are great (I recommend the empanadas from Cruz), and the drinks are amazing. They have the best martinis I’ve ever had, and I go with my friends on a regular basis!

Snooze, an A.M. Eatery, is a popular and vibrant chain known for its creative breakfast and lunch options as well as cocktails. The trendy restaurant has a seasonal menu with countless options to choose from, including customizable combinations. From various egg styles to sweet pancakes and French toasts, Snooze offers something for everyone's taste buds. Located on Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, this Colorado-based chain is a must-visit spot for brunch enthusiasts despite the potential wait times.
I needed a solid breakfast to fuel my day before a full day of job interviews, and Snooze was even better than I hoped! I was able to get two cage free eggs that were light and fluffy, excellent hash browns and bacon, and the surprise was they let you sub out hash browns or toast for one of their specialty pancakes. I opted for the pineapple upside down cake, and it was delicious, with a light cream and cinnamon on top. I would like to return to try all the others. Shelby was genuinely nice and on top of everything I needed which really made the whole experience top notch.

We absolutely loved this spot! While driving through Boulder on our way to Estes Park, we stumbled upon this charming little gem. The service was warm and welcoming, and the food blew us away. The fresh juices were bursting with flavor, and the oat milk lattes—though a bit on the small side—were fantastic. The pancake flight was such a fun and creative idea, with each flavor more delicious than the last. The greens & grain bowl was packed with flavor, and the garden harvest omelette was equally satisfying. A perfect stop we’re glad we didn’t miss!

We visited the Boulder location for breakfast and everything—from the upbeat vibe to the creative menu—was spot on. The staff was friendly, efficient, and made the experience feel fun from start to finish. Our food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. Even though it was busy, the energy stayed positive and welcoming. Great coffee, great food, great people — Snooze Boulder is easily one of the best breakfast spots in town! Perfect stop between Denver & Estes Park! 🌟

What a great experience, the food was absolutely awesome and the service was very friendly and welcoming. It was a little busy which sometimes meant the service lagged but overall our server was super sweet and attentive. My mother is very allergic to shellfish so I always worry about servers blowing it off. But the server we had not only asked about the allergy but clarified that she would make sure there was no contamination! This is so appreciated!

Loved the first meal so much, we went back the next day. Shrimp and Grits were amazing as were the Eggs Benedict. But whatever you do, order a strawberry shortcake pancake as a side (one large pancake) - oh my! Our server, SHELBY, was reason enough to make us come back, so charming and friendly!

My daughter and I were trying to find a brunch restaurant on 3 Aug 2025 and discovered this one via Google search. And since I've never visited the infamous Pearl Street area, we thought this would be a good time to do so, after we get some much-needed sustenance prior to walking around. We arrived a little later in the afternoon so when we walked in, it wasn't too crowded...which was a good thing because I wanted to have a quiet(er) Dad-Daughter time. We were greeted nicely by the hostess on shift (I didn't catch her name but kudos to the one working that position on the day we arrived ~2:30 pm). The service here was impeccable...provided initially by the hostess, all the way to our primary server, Gladelfa. In fact, speaking of Gladelfa, she was outstanding! She was highly attentive, professional, and extremely friendly - all quality traits! The restaurant's décor was nice which enabled a warm, yet vibrant feeling during our dining experience. The tables and chairs were adequate; they were comfortable enough and I had enough elbow room while eating. Yes, I have been to restaurants where the tables were so tiny that I struggled with moving things around, including my arms. We ordered the Egg White Garden Harvest Omelet with Hash Browns (instead of the Parmesan-Dressed Greens), Strawberry Shortcake Pancakes, side of Bacon, side of the Polidori Sausage Links, Strawberry Lavender Lemonade, and Coffee. The omelet and pancakes were divine, and the hash browns were perfect (I loved the presentation). The bacon and sausage were adequate; the bacon could've been cooked longer in my opinion, but it was still scrumptious...and I can honestly say that I've had better sausage. I took a sip of my daughter's mocktail and it was refreshing...which was surprising because I'm not a lemonade kind of guy. And finally, the coffee was splendid (roast and temperature). Overall, I loved my initial visit here as depicted in my 5-star rating. The price-to-quantity/quality ratio was superb and I highly respect this business for their support to the men and women of the Armed Forces, including its Veterans - thank you for that! I know that my former self would've grumbled with the quantity because I've been to restaurants that serve massive amounts of food and that was my go-to type of restaurants; however, as I got older, I realized how much food us Americans eat and let's just say this restaurant does it right. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll be sure to stop in because this restaurant was something else! I know my daughter will most likely stop in again since she's attending CU Boulder. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! Note: I recently noticed we have this restaurant in my home city of Las Vegas so I'll have to go check it out one day.
Dallas M — Google review
I had walked by here several times over the years while enjoying the energy and commotion of the Pearl Street Mall, and I decided to finally enter and indulge. The cavernous interior is greatly appreciated, as the restaurant becomes quite crowded quite early. Everything is brightly colorful, and the restaurant exudes a confident and playful personality: not brash but still charming and distinctive. I appreciate the names of the food on the menu, which can be things like "Awesome Vegan Banana Pancakes" and others in the same voice and register. The restaurant effectively communicates a loose, carefree atmosphere while still being serious when delivering delicious food. The "Eggs Benedict Verde" with green chili is particularly delightful.
Joshua F — Google review
The best diner in town! I love their “OMG! French Toast”, the name describes perfectly how you feel after trying it. They are fluffy, spongy, sweet, filled with mascarpone. Topped with caramel and fresh strawberry. I order half size which it was enough for me. Mmh delicious 🤤!! Plus, ordered a side of hash brown and scrambled eggs. Highlight the hash brown because it’s a great portion and not too grilled, so it doesn’t get completely dry. Server was nice and attentive, as well as the entire crew. Everyone was friendly and available to help you asap. Definitely would come back! 💛

American restaurant
New American restaurant
SALT is a farm-to-table American restaurant in Boulder's West End, known for its changing menu that uses local ingredients in its cuisine and cocktails. The bar offers custom drinks where patrons can choose a spirit, flavoring, and style to be mixed by the bartender. The house cocktails are also popular, featuring unexpected ingredients like cilantro, fig, and Serrano peppers. The restaurant emphasizes local drinks such as gin, whiskey, vodka, and tequila made by Colorado companies.
My partner & I had such a wonderful date night this evening. Evan the bartender was so personable & excited about the mixology & exploration within the drinks offered. We had the pesto muscles paired with a delicious Caesar salad. Our experience could only be compared to the external happy dance one does when flavors &/or moments hit the spot & no words can describe. We send our love wholeheartedly. Thank you, Salt staff. Xoxo

Found this place walking around pearl street mall on a Monday. They were busy so we sat at the bar. Service was great here and drinks came fast (probably a perk of being at the bar). I had the blackberry spritz sub gin. It was good but a bit too sweet imo. I was pleased to see they had three French whites on the glass wine offerings. French whites tend to be my fave whites so I ordered a glass of Charme de Loire—it went perfectly with the halibut and simple salad we shared. The halibut was very good, but I do feel it was a tad overdone—a shame as I love halibut. But the sides and sauce that came with it were excellent and perfectly cooked. I felt it was a tad on the heavy side for summer, so I was glad we also ordered a simple salad to go with it. The simple salad was indeed simple but it was 10/10, so good. And went perfectly with the fish and wine. My H enjoyed the blueberry mocktail too. We skipped dessert. Overall a good experience. I’d happily come back.

Food was good! We had the tomato soup and the gnocchi and both were delicious. Our one gripe was some of the service. The hostess was not interested in helping us and seemed like she could not care less about her job. We asked if we could be sat next to heaters on the patio (fall in Colorado) and she said yeah that’s the only table available (there were multiple available I don’t know if they were reserved it was just kinda weird sass). She sat us and then did not turn on the heater after being asked. We asked the server if he could turn it on and he did not for some time. I then returned to the hostess to ask if she could turn it on and she said “yeah I’ll ask them”. And then remained at the hostess station. It was just kinda odd.

We had our wedding dinner/reception in the wine cellar. Brad and his team delivered a high quality experience. The renovated space was gorgeous and spacious for our 35 guests + staff - it didn't feel tight at all. The food and drinks were incredibly delicious and our guests kept raving about both. Also, the SALT team displayed our wedding cake beautifully and even dolled up the cake slices with whipped cream and strawberries. 10/10 recommend SALT for a smaller wedding!!

Wagyu burger n fries hit the spot. Tasty. The jam stuff spread was bomb! Beef cooked the way I wanted. Fresh and crispy fries. Very friendly staff. Quiet enough inside to complete a bit of work. Inside and outside tables. Decent parking at hotel plus paid and free options a couple blocks away. The hotel is near Pearl St so there are loads of things to do nearby within a hop skip and a jump.

While staying at the St. Julien Hotel in Boulder , CO. My husband and I decided to try the hotel restaurants Jill’s breakfast . The hostess who sat us was not friendly , didn’t greet us. The initial experience didn’t feel good . It took 15 minutes before a waitress came by our table . When the runner delivered our food I was insulted as he commented on how much we ordered . In addition to bringing out the wrong item . Then had an attitude about bringing out the correct item which was waffle . The waffle was awful and tasted like bad bisque , dense and grainy . The eggs in the eggs Benedict were overcooked . The ham was burnt . The staff were not friendly and seemed to have a bad attitude . This is not a restaurant I would recommend .
Jaclyn P — Google review
I expected more of this restaurant. The best dishes are the appetizers. The tater tots and cinnamon rolls were delicious. Unfortunately, the eggs Benedict were served with hard-boiled eggs instead of runny eggs. The burgers were burned and dry as a bone. Not just one burger but all the burgers in our party (6 burgers) were all burned and unedible. Some us sent the burgers back to the kitchen asking to re-make them medium and not charred. 30 minutes later we got them in the same way. And the waiters did not even bother asking of they got it right this time. Our kids could not eat them and were so hungry (see picture). If the cheff can't cook something as simple as a burger and if they destroy it again after the burgers were sent back to the kitchen, they should not be trusted with anything. I would not go there again.

On the anniversary of my 30th birthday (x2) my husband and I decided to celebrate at Jill's. In all the years we have been enjoying Boulder dining, Jill's has always provided us exceptional service, food and beverages. This visit was no different. JULIANA was knowledgeable, delightful and treated me to my birthday dessert with a chocolate greetings denoting my "desired" age. I had the Steak Diane and my husband the Steak Frite. My steak was cooked to perfection, and the mash potatoes were delicious. The next time you go to Jill's be sure you ask for JULIANA for a wonderful time, and do order the Potato Tots. This appetizer is so elevated and delicious. They are absolutely not your grocery store frozen ones we enjoyed as kids. To the entire team at Jill's, hats off for another amazing visit and dining experience,

Been going here for years and always had a great experience. Not this time. We started out ok with a pleasant hostess seating us. Wait staff seemed responsive at first. We got drinks and appetizers quickly. We put in our order and then things went south. It took an hour and a half before we got our meal. Our primary waiter did not return to the table to check on us. It was the shadowing waitperson who helped figure out what had happened. She contacted the kitchen and our waiter and got our order out. We concluded that our waiter failed to submit our order. He brought our bill and did not mention the issue, did not apologize for the delay acting as though nothing has happened. I explained how his mistake ruined our experience. We had two toddlers with us and so when food finally arrived we had to rush the meal so the parents could leave. I had to ask the waiter to address the issue with his manager. They complimented our coffee and our appetizer. Really not enough to make up for the bad experience. We will not return anytime soon. Maybe if they change management. BTW the food tasted good but my wife ended up in the bathroom immediately after we ate with severe illness that we can only attribute to food poisoning.

It is perfectly fine. Happy hour all-day Mondays (although nothing happy about $8 well drinks.) I have been here a few times over the years. I do not think the quality and price match. The two of us recently spent over a hundred on happy hour for a few hand rolls, hamachi, two drinks, and some potstickers. Oh, and one oyster shot. We understand we aren’t necessarily filling up on small bites like this and are paying for speciality food, but I’ve paid less for more and better fish. The ‘specialty roll’ was the most underwhelming of all. Drinks are always yum.

I've visited this restaurant multiple times before for both lunch and dinner. I even left a review previously because the miso soup was too salty, but I'm glad to see that it seems to have improved now. My husband and I went for a late dinner tonight after working out. However, I believe this will be our last visit. We came out for a change of mood, but it only made us feel worse.🙁 There were several issues today: 1. When the water was poured into my glass, I found a hair. I understand this wasn't intentional, so I tried to overlook it. 2. However, I then found something like a hair in the tuna tempura. At this point, my confidence in your hygiene standards was significantly shaken. I didn't mention it to the server, but I was quite displeased. 3. My husband and I each ordered a main course, and both are supposed to come with miso soup. Yet, only my husband's soup was served. I waited, assuming it would come as part of the set, but it never did until I inquired. It was then served belatedly. 4. The main course rice bowl was placed directly on a plate that was already covered in sauce. Is it proper serving etiquette to place the rice bowl on a sauce-covered plate? 5. The rice itself was partially undercooked, with a mix of soft and hard grains. 6. After finishing our meal, when we tried to sign the bill, the pen didn't work. I feel like this is something that could be checked before bringing it to the customer. Overall, it was a very disappointing dining experience today. I hope to see improvements in your hygiene and service in the future.

The food and service were fantastic! Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to this establishment. We have visited multiple times and are always impressed. Shoutout to our server Matthew for giving us a memorable time! A great variety of food and drinks with a chill environment. I wish I remembered all the different names of the rolls we tried, but I know we had the Diablo, Himalayan, Asparagus, Cucumber, Loch Ness, and Sweet Potato rolls. We had the veggie tempura, Agedashi, house salad, and Miso soup for appetizers. For drinks we tried the plain green tea, Little Monster, Japanese Soda, and some Hot Sake. To finish it off we had a Dessert Bento box with some extra mochi. So delish! Our only complaint on the food was the salads. First off, u must mix the dressings! Second, the complaint, the salad is just lettuce!!! Put some tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, radish, ANYTHING, to freshen it up.

The food was fresh, high quality and imaginative. A special shout out to our server Wyatt! He was so personable and called me by my first name from the open table reservation, when initially greeting us. Wyatt was especially attentive, and executed our gluten free request accurately. Most of all he offered me a very genuine and kind Birthday wish when serving us dessert so much so that it made my girlfriend tear up. There are so many great restaurants in Boulder, but in my opinion service is what sets them apart and Wyatt should be recognized for his hard work, effort and kindness. Thank you Japango for helping us celebrate this last Fish Friday of the Lent season and reeling in an awesome 40th Birthday Celebration.

We dined here for lunch. We ate inside because it was an unusually hot day in Boulder. It was beautifully decorated. The menu had great selections, and the food was delicious and artfully and creatively displayed. The edamame and lobster potsticker appetizers were delicious. My husband and daughter enjoyed their Miso Soup. I had the garden salad which was lovely with the citrus dressing. My Lochness Monster Roll was vegetarian and delicious. My daughter had avocado rolls, her favorite. My husband had the salmon bento box, which he enjoyed. Our server was pleasant, helpful, and efficient. A lovely dining experience. Glad we found it while walking down the street (hungry).

Our server was a young guy and he was super great. Staff clearly work together to make sure everybody is happy. Atmosphere is very pleasant, especially for a Monday night (quieter). All that was awesome, and the food IS very tasty. However, my partner and I both got mild cases of food poisoning after eating here. Japango was the only thing we ate that was the same this day, and we ate all the same foods. All was well and a few hours later it was very apparent that we got sick from something we ate - simultaneously. Luckily it wasn’t bad but it is the one and only time I have ever gotten sick from sushi in my life. I feel for the price point there are better places in Boulder that offer fresher and tastier options (TASUKI or AOI to name some favs). I actually really enjoyed my experience at Japango but getting sick was not fun and pretty surprising.
Anna — Google review
Stopped in for happy hour after work. Felt like I was being forced to buy a drink when I just don’t drink at all. The server noticeably changed his tune and took an even more sour note when he took our order including a “that’s it?”. Could hardly get him to come back to the table to order more rolls when we were actually ready for them. Foods good but I don’t care to have someone be passive aggressive when I’m eating a late lunch. I’d rather servers be paid a fair wage than have to upsell every customer on drinks to make a living. Doesnt make for a pleasant dining experience.

The restaurant incorporates traditional Japanese cooking fundamentals into their creations, such as the spicy tuna nachos and New Style Hapa Sashi. With dozens of rolls catering to both sushi novices and connoisseurs, as well as poke bowls, miso soup, edamame, and tempura, there's something for everyone.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hapa Sushi Grill and Sake Bar – Pearl Street Mall We stopped in for a date and found the perfect mix of atmosphere, creativity, and flavor. Sitting outside under the glow of string lights while storm clouds rolled in set such a cozy, romantic vibe. The food was as fun as it was delicious. We tried some of their signature rolls—“The Big Kahuna” (yellowtail, salmon, tuna, jalapeño, and yuzu miso) and the “Booty Call Roll” topped with lobster and garlic sake butter—which were both show-stoppers. The playful menu names kept us smiling, and the flavors didn’t disappoint. We also loved the Magic Mushrooms appetizer—avocado wrapped in salmon with sweet soy—and the Chukka Seaweed Salad for something light and refreshing. Drinks were another highlight: a chilled sake paired beautifully with a vibrant cocktail (the Curious Margarita with strawberry, jalapeño, and smoky togarashi salt rim). They balanced the meal perfectly. The service was warm, the presentation was gorgeous, and the whole evening felt like an experience rather than just dinner. 💬 In short: creative rolls, great drinks, and an ambiance that makes even a rainy evening unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back.

My family tried this restaurant a while back without me and told me about their wonderful experiences and mentioned that they wanted me to try it. Being from Hawaii, I naturally thought the name of the restaurant was intriguing; not to mention, the term, "Hapa" has a special meaning to me. I was recently in Boulder so my daughter and I visited this restaurant on 3 Aug 2025. We arrived a little later than the normal dinner window so the restaurant wasn't busy at all which was perfect because I didn't feel like waiting for a table - yes, we were starving. When we walked in, we were immediately greeted and escorted to our table. After we sat down, we were provided with one of the best service a customer can have...courtesy of Savannah - she was extremely professional, attentive, friendly, and very efficient. All quality traits that every restaurant employee should emulate. In fact, prior to ordering our food, I looked at one of the dishes that were brought to our table and unfortunately, when I lifted one of the plates, it was dirty (see attached photo). I brought this to Savannah's attention and she immediately resolved the issue, following it with an apology. Though, I would hope in the future the kitchen staff would quality check their items before they make them available for servers to bring to the tables. Regardless, things happen and it was resolved. We ordered Miso Soup, Ginger Pork Gyoza, Vegetable Tempura, and Taro (Tuna) Poke for our appetizers; Hapa Roll, Statue of Liberty (SOL) Roll, and Beef Teriyaki Dinner for our main entrées; and Da Kine Punch and Hapa Draft for our drinks. The appetizers were good; the miso soup and tempura definitely stole the show for the appetizer round. The gyoza was good; however, I was shocked with how it was prepared...it didn't have as much crisp to it as you would get at a Japanese restaurant. The texture almost reminded me of a Chinese-style (pan seared) dumpling...but it was still pretty good; just not what I was hoping for. The SOL Roll was outstanding; I'm mainly an ahi tuna guy so I was taken back at how refreshing (and crisp) that roll was - that apple provided a whole new level to that roll. The Hapa Roll was ok; for some reason, the tuna didn't taste like it should have (I found it strange considering the Taro Poke was great). I know land-locked states are limited to how fresh a fish can be, but this one didn't taste fresh at all. I have never received bad ahi when I was in Hawaii (of course), and in Las Vegas (where I currently reside). I still finished it and it never made me sick afterwards so perhaps it was just my tastebuds? Also, the Beef Teriyaki was adequate; nothing to write home to Mom about...but it wasn't bad either. The restaurant was clean with very nice décor and a respectable amount of space; both interior and exterior. The restaurant's logo was fascinating which makes me wonder of the history behind picking that logo/character. The price-to-quantity/quality ratio was reasonable and I highly respect this business for their continued support to the active men and women of the Armed Forces, including its Veterans - thank you for that! Overall, I liked my experience here, as depicted in my 4-star rating. I can definitely see myself returning for another visit whenever I'm in the city again. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Popular spot and it can get busy, but really nice atmosphere. Some rolls were super tasty, others more average, and desserts looked beautiful but could use a little extra care (the crème brûlée was served cold). Overall, I had a good time, though I’m not sure the quality matches the price enough for me to come back often.

Not only was service absolutely horrible from the second we walked in (we had reservations and it took 20 minutes just to get anybody to talk to us and to order water), but it never improved, and then we found this huge plastic tip in our dessert. Granted it was already comped because it was a birthday dessert, but they didn't even seem surprised and give us a few bucks off of our very expensive meals. I guess that's what snobby Boulder places can get away with.

Update: stopped in for brunch, still amazing! Honestly I’m surprised the over all rating for this place isnt higher. Dylan was a great server, perfectly attentive, and recommended the French toast sticks which were wonderful! Not overly sweet and perfectly crisp on the outside. We also split the chicken biscuit and thought it was very good as well. The spicy honey was subtly spicy, the chicken was moist and tender, and the biscuit was a great consistency as well. —- Great food and drinks! We were here during happy hour. The chicken tacos were excellent and larger than expected. The cheeseburger sliders were wonderfully flavorful and the beef was not over cooked. Bun was buttery and perfect. We also got the chips and guacamole which was excellent- a lot of the times guac will taste old but this batch was clearly fresh and seasoned just right. The happy hour margaritas were great as well, and were a good strength - and tasty! We will definitely visit again.

This place was super good! We originally stopped by The Kitchen next door but the menu at Next Door seemed to be more up our alley today. They had unique menu items and our choices were very flavorful! We all loved our meals. The decor was trendy and they had outdoor seating too. I would recommend this place for sure!

Great food. Great location. Totally fair prices. My wife got the mandarin orange chicken bowl and loved it. I got the pork/bacon/pork belly burger and loved it. Their wedge fries are heavenly, and their ranch was the best ranch I've tasted in my whole life. That combo was wonderful. Look no further than next door next time you're on Pearl Street!

Great visit to ND Street Bar! It was my first time there, but it was a fun, laid back atmosphere and there was a ton of food options - something for everyone. My group of friends ordered multiple dishes to split, so I tried quite a few. My recommendations: the fried chicken sandwich was probably the best I have ever had - perfectly cooked and sooo tasty. I had never had sticky buns before, but the steamed sticky pork buns were also delicious and I would get again. Lastly, who doesn’t love birria tacos?! So happy those are on the menu as they are one of my all-time favorite dishes. All of the dishes were good portion sizes and came out super quickly (but still fresh!). The wait staff was also super friendly!

Came for happy hour. Pretty cheap drinks with a good selection. Outdoor seating was perfect for the weather. The loaded guac was really good and good value. The chicken tenders were also really good, but at $11 for three of them, I won't get them again.

Rock and roll meets Star Wars vibe. We loved the decor. It matched very well with the musicians playing at the mall. Waitstaff was very cool. There was plenty of room to sit even though the rest of the pearl mall had a waitlist up to an hour. I had the fried chicken sandwich and it was delicious. Good seasoning, crispy outside, juicy inside. He had the burger and said that was good as well. Decent prices. Look to spend about 20 dollars per person.

Had a wonderful dinner at Next Door! Under new management (and better for it!), they have revamped the menu and it is so great! We got the Crispy Cauliflower, the 14er Club, and the Yojimbo Bowl. All were great, but the Crispy Cauliflower was by far the favorite of the table. Service was incredible - we were greeted outside, greeted inside, mentioned by name, and even had chats with the owner who visited our table. As someone who works in the hospitality industry, this type of service was next level. Shoutout to Olivia who was serving our table - she was on top of everything, gave wonderful recommendations, and even went all out on making us feel welcome. After a previous experience years ago left us feeling lackluster, we are both excited for this revamp and are looking forward to coming back soon!

Shine Community ~ Food.Potions.Lifestyle is a lively restaurant and gathering place in Boulder that offers Paleo, vegetarian, and gluten-free dishes along with herbal tonic cocktails. The establishment claims to infuse their potions with sounds, intentions, and feelings. Although some may be skeptical about the ingredients, the cocktails are said to be delicious and healthy. The restaurant is 100% gluten-free and offers a variety of main dishes, elixirs, juices, smoothies, and more.
Customer service & attn to allergies are beyond words.Their potions are very well balanced. Great place to dine alone or w/someone. I have to avoid Gluten, Dairy, Egg, Night shade fruits /veggies, & alcohol. They litterally found what I can eat here. That is amazingly awesome that they're doing that for me. They have so many choices. I'm getting 2 of them. Crispy chicken & their pork chop, with some modifications... So excited. So delicious, coming back, next time I'm in boulder.

As vegetarians, we were a little concerned about the small menu, but we were completely satisfied with our selections and the flavors/seasonings of each item were well-thought-out and interesting. We had the beet hummus, (fabulous pita accompaniment), non-dairy mac & cheese, dairy mac & cheese, roasted veggies (side), fettuccine with veggie patty, and kale salad. We also had a potion flight, which was very tasty and interesting. I'd happily go there again, although prices are relatively high ($14 for my relatively small kale salad after I added avocado) so I wouldn't go very often.
Emily G — Google review
Good food with higher prices that match the quality of ingredients. We had the Pad Thai and a burger. Pad Thai was good, but so salty that it was overpowering. Burger was great - especially the bun. We also ordered a few of the potions that were good. The service was a bit lacking. Our server seemed indifferent, perhaps even annoyed, with taking our orders and bringing food / drinks to our table.

Our ultimate Sunday brunch place. The food choices are healthy and the recipes are amazing. Love the new space - open and airy; very summery.

Well thought-out menu choices with all foodies in mind; lamb, sausages and meats but also strong choices for vegan and gluten-free diners. Casual restaurant with higher than average priced dishes: Party of 4 with one appetizer, 4 drinks and entrees and no dessert was still $140+ tip. Nice outdoor dining opportunity with wood burning fireplace and heatlamps.

First time for us to stop in to shine at their new location and we so enjoyed our appetizer / dinner! Convenient plenty of parking, great atmosphere on the patio and our server Allison was awesome. Their special potion drinks are perfection, we will be coming back.

My date and I date the potion sampler, burger and the fettuccine with goat cheese. The fettuccine was really good while the burger was ok. The options were fun and a great non alcoholic option. Not sure if I feel any different from them though.

Chez Thuy Restaurant is a cozy spot offering a wide range of Asian dishes, from pho and noodles to hotpots and stir-fries. The restaurant has been serving delectable renditions of pho since 1993, with savory broths, perfectly textured noodles, and a variety of meat, seafood, and veggie toppings served piping hot and fresh.
We had rice noodles with meat balls, kung pao tofu, and beef in tomato sauce. It was absolutely delicious!
Riya — Google review
Really good food, lots of options including hot-pot and ordering was fast. I would skip the cocktails, go for a beer or sake instead. The medium size Pho is huge and very tasty- all the portion sizes are large which is great. The servers were very nice, the new trainee did get distracted for quite a while talking to a table but overall service was quick and friendly. Plenty of parking. Get the Vietnamese coffee, it's very good.
Casey E — Google review
This place isn’t as bad but not as great. Good place to come try once. First, customer service is short staff so be ready to order quick. Cup rims does not look clean so ask for a straw or bring your own straw. We ordered pho combination, was unable to order medium, waitress was quick to say they only have large. We also ordered the fried quail and the spicy oxtail soup. Quail bird was the best dish but threw me off a bit still seeing feathers on the bird. The spicy oxtail broth looked good but the flavors was too sweet and not a great combination with ox tail, which wasn’t that tender. Our pho combination broth tasted good but I think the chef was being a little too lazy and not cutting the tendons. There was also a ball of frozen rare meat that couldn’t get cooked well in the broth. Presentation.. of the quail dish gave a silly look. Anyways, I vote this is NOT the best Vietnamese restaurant but good to try ONCE.

I'm proud to say that I've been eating at Chez Thuy for as long as I could chew. Their food is absolutely delicious. Some of my favorite dishes include the Shrimp Sampler, steak pho, and pretty much all of their appetizers, especially the freshest spring rolls ever. If you're in Boulder, it's a must-try!
Meishan W — Google review
Service was a bit "cold" and not friendly, atmosphere is nice and comfortable and the food was average. The serving portions were fair sized. The appetizer veggie dumplings were good, the spring rolls were "okay", and my Pho broth had very little flavor and not much meat for the price.
Burton F — Google review
Delicious food, but the server didn't seem friendly at all. She walked away half way threw taking our drink and appetizers' order. Then, whe she finally came back, we ordered more and she gave some attitude like why didn't we order everything the first time she was at our table. The drinks were OK and the atmosphere was quiet. Not much parking from what I could see, there might be more behind the building.

Aloy Thai Cuisine, formerly known as Chy Thai, has been a beloved fixture in Boulder for years. The restaurant offers homestyle Thai cooking with a health-conscious twist in a modern setting. Aloy's wok dishes are particularly popular, featuring beef, shrimp, pork, and tofu stir-fried with fresh vegetables and housemade sauce. Known for its refined approach to traditional dishes like pad Thai and curries, Aloy uses fresh spices and locally sourced produce to create an authentic dining experience.
Great food and quick service! The curry and drunken noodles were terrific. We asked for extra veggies on our dishes and they hooked it up. The food came out super fast and the service was good. 😊

Great food and environment with a diverse menu and enjoyable drink options. Had both a chicken dish and tofu and both were on point and super delicious. Thai iced coffee and taro boba were amazing as well, cheers!

Whatever city we visit we rate it based on their Thai food scene. Aloy did not disappoint. The food was spot on. Right amount of spice, flavorful but not too rich. Every dish was fresh and delicious. I had the eggplant stir fry and veg egg roles yum! We all loved the food, service and decore. Will come back.

Cozy ambiance with friendly staff and authentic Thai decor. The food was fresh and flavorful. We tried several dishes, while each was tasty, some of the flavors felt a bit similar across dishes for me. However, the quick service and generous portions made for a satisfying experience. Definitely try this place if you're craving Thai!

On a road trip from Canada and decided to try out Aloy Thai for dinner. The food was absolutely delicious and so flavourful. The service was very fast too even with the restaurant being fully booked. We tried the satay chicken to start and had the yellow curry and the drunken noodles. All dishes were so good would highly recommend this place for authentic dishes.

I went here based on a colleague’s recommendation. I ordered chicken pad Thai and it was just alright. The flavor was not there as much as I’d like and it was quite sweet but overall still good. I ordered online and when I arrived, 2 servers walked past me multiple times before acknowledging me. The portion sizes are generous but they are pricey. I don’t know that I would return.

Nestled in a serene corner of Boulder, Mateo is a trendy urban gem that showcases the best of French cuisine with a focus on local ingredients. This delightful eatery offers Provencal-inspired dishes that are perfectly complemented by an impressive selection of rare and exquisite wines. The inviting patio, which comfortably accommodates 40 guests, provides a peaceful retreat away from the bustling downtown scene—ideal for those seeking a relaxed fine dining experience.
Boulder's multi decades of experience in fine dining !! Charming location with outdoor seating right on Pearl Street. There is plenty of street parking in front or half a block south on 19th. This icon has had long-term management and a staff who clearly enjoys working at Mateo. Delightful drink menu with unexpected selections. Plan on ordering food again and again when you experience what they offer. Highly recommend the Tomato Bisque, my favorite I've ever had. My evening meal was poulet frites, chicken served with fondue and hand cut frites. If you are burned out on chicken, please consider this dish! Organic slow cooked pan seared, it is unforgettable. Salad was delicate, absolutely fresh. Fries came out hot, this mael takes about 20 minutes. Lemon tart to finish, went nicely with the last sip of the recommended white wine in photos.
John H — Google review
It was just ok which was really disappointing since we were very excited to dine at Mateo. Our server was new which is totally understandable. We dined early and we’re there for the happy hour menu. We had the butter lettuce salad (regular menu) which was very good. The dressing was perfect. We also had the steak frites and the moulles from the happy hour menu. The steak was tough and definitely not what I would expect from a Provençal bistro. The moulles were good. I’d eat those again. We finished with the lemon tarte and the panne cotta both of which were average. I was surprised by the number of Italian wines on the list since it’s a Provençal restaurant. There were no white or rose French options. With all of the great restaurants on Pearl St we have lots of options which means each restaurant has to be top notch. This one didn’t perform .

Very nice food preparation and pleasant ambiance. Not too formal but with many good elements to enjoy the food. It is one of the casual mid-high end restaurant. Maybe not fancy but great place to go.
Kei I — Google review
Came here for dinner after reading about it being one of the best places for dinner. We were not disappointed! The weather was great so we sat outside- much quieter and less crowded than indoors. Our server told us about the specials of the day that we’re not on the menu, and needless to say, half of our meal was from specials, and the other from the everyday menu. We ended up getting the Burrata and French Onion soup with Gruyère as the first part of our meal. They were both delicious and the perfect size, leaving us satisfied, but definitely hungry enough for the main course. Speaking of, our main dishes were the Lamb Bolognese and the Mussels. I was not a fan of the pasta, but my dining partner loved it. The mussels were the star of the night, though. There was quite a lot of them and the taste was immaculate! I recommend this for anyone visiting Boulder and looking for a place to eat out (it was very reasonably priced as well)!
Barbara M — Google review
A solid French bistro style restaurant. It's super busy so things can be a little chaotic in there. The food is delicious, the steak frites was delicious, they use a lot of pepper on the steak, which made a good crust . The bread and cheese were decent, I wish there was a little more of each cheese but it was enough to get a few bites each. The mussels were tender, delicate and full of flavor. For somewhere so far from the ocean I'm glad to see the they tasted fresh. Whilst it's not kid friendly, I would not say it's unfriendly. I do not think there is a kids menu. So consider that if you are bringing kids. I'd definitely go again.
Paul Y — Google review
The mussels tasted fishy and bitter, and the risotto was undercooked. And in tiramisu, the water came out. What the hell is going on? Only the server was friendly. It was a restaurant I loved, but I don't think I'll go there anymore.

Better than ever.. My experience here in years past has been “like a box of chocolates“… But there is a new captain at the helm, Matt Yule, and what used to be the case of “you never know what you’re going to get“ with service and quality has become a consistently awesome experience, time after time. This is now my shamefully frequented go-to neighborhood spot where I can count on consistently stellar service, great food, and a wine list that never fails to impress (pro tip: ask for Griffin; wine-guide-extraordinaire who’ll never steer you wrong).

Thoroughly enjoyed everything about this establishment. So glad that my fiancé and I found this spot, not only is the atmosphere comforting but the staff was so kind, helpful and made us want to come back even before we had received our dishes. The food was delicious and prepared beautifully, will definitely be back in the times to come! Sadly it was a bit dark by the time we got the entrees so the photos aren't as clear but trust and believe, it was exquisite.

Jacob is fantastic. Always amazing customer service and knows how to make guests feel welcome. As someone who works on the mall, I will go out of my way to go here for lunch because the food is great and so are the employees.

I just paid for a burrito the size of a soda can, what a joke. It looked like someone rolled up a child’s portion and called it a meal. If I wanted to be hungry again in 10 minutes, I’d have just eaten a granola bar. Save your money and go somewhere that doesn’t skimp on portions like they’re rationing supplies. I expected it to taste mediocre, as it typically does here, but this was a robbery.
Ryan O — Google review
Maybe it was the time of day or..? The food as always=excellent. Although it's been almost 10 yrs since I last ate here as I'd moved away. The staff was less than attentive and maybe it's just the "new level expected of customer service" which is just above automaton automated robot service...but still, the credit card prompts you to tip regardless of the actual "SERVICE" you receive. The atmosphere was quiet and only 2-4 other guests were present. The place was very clean and well organized and a i said, food was excellent, that's what really matters.
Stephanie S — Google review
We shared the chicken bowl with white rice, grilled chicken, black beans, cheese, black olives and cilantro and it came with a side of chips. The chicken seemed overcooked and a little chewy. All the other ingredients were great. We did arrive later in the evening for dinner. It felt like the college town near campus restaurant where the staff are partially dialed in but friendly. Great location on Pearl Street Mall. There’s only two tables outside facing Pearl Street. Street parking only. If you park about three blocks away it’s free parking.

Very disappointed with my experience here. Stopped in during the work day for a quick bite to eat. We weren’t greeted by anyone, there were two employees standing at the cashier stand(mind you we’re were the only people in store). After standing at the counter for a while, any pregnant pause, without being acknowledged someone from the back came up asking the employees at cashier id one of them could help us. One of the employees sucked their teeth and rolled their eyes right in-front of us, absolutely appalling. Left us feeling uncomfortable as if we were a bother the rest of the entire interaction. Why have a job in customer service if you don’t want to be there? It’d only been 30 minutes since they’d been there it’s not like they’d been working all day, I mean come on! Have some dignity & respect for yourself and others. The food was fine but all I could think about was the nastiness from the employee.

Lots of photos of Buffalo and I saw a mural of Buffalo. The food overall was absolutely delicious. I had the crepes and ordered a griddle biscuit. If you have a lot of gravy to eat, the griddle biscuit would be good. But I found it a little dry. Omelets are interesting. Check out the photo. Yummy. The crepes were divine; pancakes were good especially with syrup. Service was great, even though they were very busy Saturday late morning.

We arrived at 1:00pm and chose this place because of the dog patio. The waiter came to us fairly quickly and gave our dogs a treat. Then we ordered our drinks and the waiter stood and chatted for about 15+ minutes. He said the large mimosa $7:50 was a better value than the 0.99 special as the special was “tiny”. When it arrived it was only twice the size as the small one. We saw people arrive 10 and 15 minutes after us. They both received their food and finished it and got their check and left before our food was even delivered. The burgers we ordered were meant to be medium rare but came out well done. This was an hour after we had been seated. We didn’t bother sending them back as it had already been so long and we couldn’t wait any longer. The people at the next table who arrived 30 minutes after us had their food before us. This was our second time trying this diner as we had bad service the first time but decided to give it one more chance. We won’t be back.

Return visit after a few years. This time, on a work trip. Only got the soup of the day and coffee as I was not feeling well. My co-workers got burgers, salad, etc.. and were all satisfied. They do not have dessert per se, but, have "Some Sweet Stuff" on their menu like, crepes, cinnamon rolls, etc.. We ordered a Cinnamon roll and thankfully, ordered just 1 as it is huuuge. (and delicious!) Service was 👍 ----------- Bigger than your usual diner, more "restaurant-y" with patio dining. Visited on a weekday afternoon, seated immediately. Our server, Megan was fantastic! Friendly, welcoming and was very patient with walking us through our orders. Pig Choice Omelette was delicious. My initial thought of only finishing half of the huge serving was wrong for I nearly finished all of it. It was that good! Burgers on the menu was tempting as well. Reasonable prices, great choice.

Maybe they were understaffed but there were at least 4 or 5 different people helping us. One was very nice and apologetic when the online ordering wouldn’t work for us. Then they brought my son’s meal (a bowl) with no utensils at all until we asked (and no apology). A different server brought me a plate of food and I gestured where to put it on the small table. She couldn’t reach that spot from where she was so instead of walking around me, she practically dropped the plate/tray in front of me (over where I already had a different tray of tacos). I did catch it but it felt pretty awkward. All in all though we mostly enjoyed the food, I don’t think we’d go back.

Mustard's Last Stand is a long-standing Chicago-style hot dog stand located in Boulder. They serve up delicious Vienna Beef hot dogs with a variety of toppings, as well as German bratwurst, home-style fries, charbroiled chicken sandwiches, Italian meat sandwiches, and tempeh burgers. The cozy ambiance and mouthwatering smells make it a must-visit spot for those passing through Boulder. Despite limited parking, the location above Boulder Creek offers a picturesque setting to enjoy your meal.
Inside is a little Dive-y but kind of expected for a hot dog joint. You can go inside or walk up to order. Also, if you want to go down to the creek, apparently they offer blankets. Didn’t give it a shot tho. I got the Chicago dog, wife got a basic burger. I liked mine well enough, she did not like hers. Fries were excellent and fresh. Prices were decent. Sat outside, all the tables were clean.

I love this place! I used to frequent the one in Denver. They’ve got great Smoked German Bratwurst and thick fries that are hot and crispy! Really nice folks that will make you feel welcome. There’s also a huge X Chicago board that you can designate where you are from. Sometimes it feels like the wait is rather long however there’s only a couple people working there so they can get pretty busy at times. They’ve actually been known for their amazing french fries and they are totally 💯 worth the trip alone.

Awesome dive-y feeling hot dog joint! They have great veggie options and you can add an assortment of toppings. The fries were fantastic as well. Would definitely return!

As soon as you walk up to the door, yummy smells linger. After walking in it’s has a throwback cozy ambience that smells even better!! I really enjoyed the chili cheese dog and chili cheese fries. My friend got the classic Chicago dog which also looked incredible. Staff is chill. I’ll be back again! Great Chicago comfort food with cool signage and Chicago vibes. Go White Sox!!!

I can't believe they offer plant based dog! Went here with family to encure getting hooked on the Chicago style Dog. Found out they offer plant based food! I was finally able to stuff my mouth with a Chicago Dog! Yummy 😋
Neal G — Google review
Several very good vegetarian options. And of course the french fries are spectacular! But I have to ask *why* did you switch to the green-dyed relish? It had much less flavor than the original natural-colored one.

Got a quarter pound char broiled hot dog with everything but hot peppers and pickles. It was fantastic. My guy friend got the same thing but got the hot peppers and loved it. Said it was the best hot dog he could ever remember having.

Nestled just a stone's throw from the bustling Pearl Street Mall in North Boulder, The Hungry Toad is a vibrant local gem that perfectly blends vintage pub charm with an eclectic menu. This inviting spot offers a delightful mix of classic American dishes and traditional English fare, making it an ideal destination for those craving juicy burgers, crispy chicken wings, or delectable fish and chips.
My friend took me to a birthday dinner here. The fish and chips were delicious. The appetizer of chicken tenders was superior, and the honey mustard and BBQ sauce was incredible. I enjoyed the Scottish Haven ale, and would definitely come back here! Also, the servers were excellent!

I had been excited to try this place for sometime now and I’m glad I did but I do not think I will be returning. I felt like everything left something to be desired… menu, food, service, etc… Not bad by any means just not great and more so just fine! Tenders were extra crispy but the French onion soup was on the sweet end. I would check it out for yourself!
Connie M — Google review
The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Very “pub”. The waiter was absent and never once refilled drinks. The food was burnt and bland. The house burger was burnt but inside was pink so the cook doesn’t understand temps. The fish and chips were also burnt and the oil tasted old. I had the toad in a hole and the “Yorkshire Pudding” was also burnt. The hash-browns were literally tater tots that had been smashed up and served lol I mean really? The French onion soup broth, delicious. Once you got past the burnt bread and cheese on top. I didn’t realize they cooked via surface of the sun. The fries were old. I mean black spotted, sitting out for a while, old potatoes. I ate a bite of each item on my plate but nothing more. It was inedible. I told them I didn’t like it and they just apologized. While not required, comping it since it wasn’t eaten, would’ve been nice to at least offer. They authentically suck. I added a photo of the smashed tater tots because honestly, it cracked me up lol. Spending $118 on 4 people, and not being able to eat your meal, is wild. Go there to drink and hang out. Not for the food.
Mandie S — Google review
Delicious burger! I loved the very English pub atmosphere. A pint of Old Speckled Hen was icing on the cake.
Paul M — Google review
I used to love this place. Sad to see it going so downhill. The shepherds pie used to be amazing, but it was just so bland and gross this time. The waitress was terrible. I ordered a Guinness and she brought it to me in a mug. When I asked her why she didn’t bring it in a Guinness pint glass, she seemed confused. If you’re going to try to be an authentic pub, the least you could do is serve Guinness in a Guinness pint glass. There’s a reason why it’s shaped the way it is. Will definitely not be returning again.

We have been going to The Toad for 32 years. It’s rare that we don’t run in to someone we know who is also dining there. Our son grew up going to The Toad. The new owners have made it even better. We recently had a small family gathering and reserved a table through the on- line system. No problem! Our table for 7 was ready for us. As always, great food and service. What a Boulder treasure!

OZO Coffee, located in Boulder, is a renowned craft coffee shop and educational facility founded by Justin Hartman in 2007. The cafe is celebrated for its direct trade and sustainable sourcing relationships for all its coffees. It offers various public coffee educational experiences and serves an array of espresso-based beverages at its five area locations. The Pearl Street cafe features locally roasted coffee with about a dozen blends, attracting large crowds.
Excellent oat milk latte and cozy atmosphere with relaxing music. Best “self-service” selection of sweeteners and spices I have ever seen in a coffee place. You can get all the usual mainstream traditional sugar and chemical sweeteners in addition to natural spices and sweeteners such as agave, honey, simple sugar, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, cocoa. Opens at 6 am everyday except Sunday at 7 am. A coffee shop shouldn’t be called a coffee shop unless it opens early in my non-humble opinion. Thank you, OZO.

Ozo coffee is my favorite coffee and I always make it a point to stop here when I'm in Colorado. The honey lavender latte is a favorite of mine. My dog also enjoys the pup cups & the staff is always friendly.
Michelle — Google review
Ozo is a calm haven of specialty coffee and spacious seating. Like pourovers? This is the spot: there’s a selection of 4+ options, and they’ll let you smell the beans to get a sample for your senses. The flavors themselves were unique, and single-origin sourced from all over. My Colombian Ombligan pourover tasted like toasted cranberries melded into a mellow cup of Joe. Lovely aesthetic served in ceramic. The space is clean and minimalist with a small splash of wall artwork and plants. Additional amenities: local artist crafts, small back patio, and self-service water. Great playlist too. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks Topher! Coffee score: 4.5/5. Everything else score: 4.5/5. Overall score: 4.5/5.

Got the honey lavender oat latte and it was so good . The right amount of sweetness, so soft and smooth Also I love their approach to less waste . They have very nice reusable cups for $2 not a plastic one! Also boxes / buckets for beans. So simple but it is actually works! I wish more places would be the same with simple things to have less waste!

A busy little cafe on Pearl Street. The coffee was excellent, albeit we felt the cup sizes were smaller than in other cafés. We enjoyed the coffee cakes (the banana nut flavor was our favorite) and there was a diaper changing station available in the restroom for our baby, which was extremely helpful. It was a little hard to find tables for the four of us, but we were able to make do.

They charged me $7 for gluten free bread and the sandwich that was supposed to be hot was cold and gross. They were also out of vegan cheese. I had them switch it for something else and the replacement was burnt. I used to come here all the time but will never go back again.

Went to this awesome sub sandwich restaurant for lunch while University of Colorado Boulder was on summer break. An amazing list of menu choices (with or without proteins) and three sizes of subs available: 4-, 7-, and 14-inches. Laid back atmosphere and friendly service. Lots of seats and tables inside as well as outside patio, but parking is on-street and can be a little tough to find. You won't be disappointed and very highly recommended!
Shingo I — Google review
I LOVE HALF FAST! It was the only reason I chose to study at CU, and its great sandwiches and wow-factor pitchers are the only thing getting me through this degree. Great spot to hang with friends!
Caroline G — Google review
Have gotten takeout here twice now and both times everything was just above average. The sandwiches are all pretty good, but I think there are other sandwich shops around that are a bit better. Also, some of the staff is awesome, but others seem a bit rude and aloof at times. I am gonna try again but get different sandwiches in the hopes that they’ll win me over eventually.

Pitcher cocktails and so many amazing sub sandwich options!!! Sooo good!! It can get really busy during big events but it’s worth splitting off the group to fight for open tables. Only complaint is that it’s a little small but still rocks!

Locals highly recommend Snarf's as the best sub place in town. It's also popular for delivery, ensuring that sandwiches stay fresh and delicious upon arrival.
Third time in Boulder, first time eating at Snarf's (by REI) and was blown away at the quality! The cashier helped me find a sandwich I like. Sandwich was hot, fresh, tasty and had a little kick to it that I loved. Will definitely go back when I'm in town 👍

6/5/25 Update: I have received a refund. Update: I sent an email to marketing on May 27th as suggested by the owner and a week later have not received a response or refund. On May 8th, I placed an order in the app and when I showed up at the restaurant, they were very busy. After waiting well past the time the order said it would be ready in the app, I decided to cancel the order. The app said I needed to call the restaurant so I walked over to the cashier and asked to cancel my order. He took my name and I was assured me that I would receive a refund. After leaving, I realized that he hadn't taken the order number, so I called. The person who answered said they didn't need the order number and I was again assured that I would get a refund. Three weeks later, I have not received a refund.

If you're looking for a pretty good sandwich you are at the spot. Prices were ok. Sat outside at a table that had more rock than a concert but the sub was good. Overall a very decent place.

Very good sandwiches. Terrible customer service. There is simply too much good local competition to recommend when: -There are no order updates -Service 50 percent slower than projected -No where to wait comfortably -Overworked crew has no time to respond to questions -Baskets laying around floor to trip you -Tables dirty So, great food, the rest is terrible. The staff really tried, but they help and better systems.

A sub shop that is a bit like Potbelly's but on steroids, with better bread and more choices. The sandwiches are big and can be configured in many ways with all sorts of sides from chips to potato salads. The service is friendly, professional, and speedy, even when busy. The prices are high but fall within the new normal, especially considering the location.

90% of the time- great service. One time sandwich makers must not have been feeling good. I usually get the tuna which is super yummy. Chicken has been reliably good as well. For a basic sandwich shop it’s perfect.

Trident Booksellers and Cafe is a charming spot located in Downtown Boulder, Colorado, offering a unique blend of a bookstore and cafe. The independently owned establishment provides an inviting outdoor seating area for patrons to enjoy readings, live concerts, and plays. It's a popular place for locals to relax with a good book or use as a study or work space. Trident offers an extensive selection of books covering various topics such as astrology and philosophy, making it the perfect place to immerse oneself in literature.
This place is iconic; a true asset to downtown Boulder for 45 years. If you like grabbing a coffee or other pick-me-up, you cannot miss it. Lots of seating options, although it can get busy. A very good amount of outlets to plug in, settle down, and get some work done. There is a large outdoor area (covered and open air) with small tables, a medium-sized table for 6 people or so, benches, etc. BONUS: it’s dog-friendly out there! Bummer no doggos were present during my ~1 hour at the cafe. The attached bookstore was nice, not huge, although it did seem like it was only new books (at new book prices, although I’m sure there are sales from time to time). The staff was SUPER friendly and chill, too. Extremely recommended!

A perfect Boulder refuge. We ducked in from the rain, browsed and bought a couple of books, then sat on the covered patio with great coffee. It's described as a work-friendly place with ample outlets and tables for laptops. The food is praised as delicious and wholesome, with homemade sandwiches, salads, breakfast options, and a juice bar serving smoothies and other drinks.

Came in late on a night dinner at home didn’t go right. The Yellow Deli was here for me, to finally find that perfect bowl of late night soup I’ve been after! Their baked goods and hot apple cider is also not to be missed. Everything tasted like wholesome comfort food like I’d just gone to my grandparents house. The people and atmosphere are also so welcoming it feels like I was right at home. Even though it was my first visit it definitely won’t be my last.

Quaint deli on Pearl Street that would have walked passed with out notice. Thankfully a map and reviews brought us to this quaint little tuck away restaurant. Part of two for lunch. All the staff are uber friendly and make you feel at home. Wasn’t rue about getting soup of the day and they offered a sample (see pic) - turns out the cheesy potato soup is delicious! Even better tasting is the Deli Rose sandwich. Most flavor sandwich I have had in decades. Also had Vonn salad - no complaints! We are out of towners and wish we had a location closer to us!

Like going back to 1973, the menu is definitely a flash back. Food is simple, not a million choices but everything is homemade and so good. Bread is astounding, especially when soaked in butter. The atmosphere inside is also like a trip back in time to a cabin in the woods. Price is actually amazing considering it’s on Pearl Street. Yes they are a Christian sect that follows teachings from the first century of Christ, from what I read on their website, which has a very informative “about us” tab. They don’t preach or get religious unless you want to start a conversation about it. Don’t go if their religion bothers you.
Sara C — Google review
The bread was very good. I got a salad which was ok. My waiter was kind of odd. Just seemed a little detached and I felt a bit weird with him. He didn’t really share much about the menu and almost seemed like he couldn’t be bothered with me. I was considering dessert but I just got such a weird vibe that I ended up just leaving after my salad. I sort of picked up a weird vibe from the place in general. It was a cute place but it was almost completely empty and I was seated next to someone else. I could see doing that if it was really busy as I was eating alone, but it seemed odd to do this when it was almost empty.

Not sure if the bad reviews are just bored people or what. The papaya salad is almost as good as we’ve had in Thailand! The service is exceptional and fast with fantastic attention to customer preference and satisfaction. People that leave nasty reviews with derogatory comments about food instead of leaving a kind but dissatisfied review. Find something better to do with your time! I really enjoyed the food here it was made fresh and came out piping hot. The people are also very nice and welcoming with a clean and comfortable atmosphere. I’ve eaten at a few Thai restaurants in Boulder and this one is the best.

We were looking for a Thai restaurant on our way from a long hike. We randomly came across this place and it turned out to be great. We really liked the food. They weren’t messing around with the spiciness as well. The staff was very friendly and respective.
Shehan F — Google review
Tried out this place as was craving for some Thai Food. The yellow curry was nice and flavorful and the medium spice was perfect. Pad Thai I felt could’ve been a little better, portion size was decent on both. Spring rolls were a little too oily for my liking. Thai iced tea was disappointing.

Delicious and very healthy meals! The menu is large and has a wide variety of food such as salads, bowls and wraps. I personally recommend the “Glow Bowl” with a steak protein. It’s absolutely delicious and flavorful! The food is a bit pricey, but it’s worth it for the quality and taste.

Easily one of my favorite restaurants in Colorado. I randomly stumbled upon this location when I lived near the Boulder area in 2019. I now live out of state but will easily travel out of my way to make it for a meal here when I’m in the area. I can remember doing takeout multiple times a week to support them during covid. I’ve always received speedy service & the food is always delicious. The sweet chili glazed sweet potatoes are seriously my favorite side along with their mac & cheese. I’ll always be a fan & it’s a refreshing place to receive whole foods & fresh ingredients.
Brooke T — Google review
My friends and I decided to stop in for an early dinner. I'm gluten, dairy and soy free but a carnivore and two others are vegan. The cashier was knowledgeable about food allergens, there were no issues with cross contamination. My friend who doesn't have food allergies got the gluten free Mac and cheese and enjoyed it. I had the Peruvian braised beef without the salsa and I also tasted the cauliflower risotto and chili sesame sweet potatoes. I also had the lemon olive oil cupcake and the sangria that had guava. We all enjoyed our meals and this is a great place to keep in mind of you have food sensitivities, are a carnivore, vegan or vegetarian.

Absolutely delicious! Menu notes if dish is vegan, vegetarian or GF for every item. I got the glow bowl, cauliflower kung pow and a beer. I would eat this these dishes every day they were so good! For someone with lots of food sensitivities, I felt very welcome with many choices that I didn’t need to alter. Outdoor seating, patio seating with rain block and indoor dining.

Amazing food! Hubby likes the Enchilada bowl and I like the Asian Noodle one. (Sauce on the side and add shrimp.) This is our second favorite place in Boulder and we go here at least twice when we're in town. Fun teas are a bonus. Strongly recommend.

Flower Child in Boulder is such a refreshing spot! The food is not only delicious but also feels healthy and thoughtfully prepared. I love that there are so many options for all kinds of diets—vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free—yet everything tastes amazing no matter what you choose. The atmosphere is bright, welcoming, and uplifting, making it a perfect place for a casual meal or even a quick bite on the go. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the service feels genuine. It’s one of those places where you leave feeling good about what you ate and the overall experience. Definitely one of my go-to favorites in Boulder!
Austin A — Google review
I'm a regular at Flower Child and usually have a good experience with the food. Unfortunately, yesterday's experience was not great. I was surprised by how quickly our food came out but then I realized why. I ordered the Forbidden Rice bowl with chicken and the vegetables were completely raw- hard, crunchy, not cooked at all. Broccoli, carrots, pea pods, etc. The chicken looked like it had been placed on top and did not seem to be part of the dish. I am sure there is lots of staff turnover in the kitchen, so perhaps someone hadn't been trained to make this dish.
Rebecca A — Google review
Ordered at the counter. The staff let me see there for over 20 minutes waiting for my food before I decided to check the online ordered table. This was not an online order, and everyone else got their names called and their food brought out. Once I got home and opened my food, I discovered that I spent over $20 on 2 bites of salmon thrown into cold mashed potatoes looks like it’s been sitting out for several hours. Disgusted and disappointed

Ramen restaurant
Nestled in Boulder, My Ramen & Izakaya is a delightful culinary haven that invites you to indulge in an array of authentic ramen and Japanese small plates. The moment you step inside, the warm tones and traditional decor create a cozy ambiance that sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. This hidden gem excels at crafting soul-satisfying bowls of ramen, with broths simmered to perfection and ingredients thoughtfully selected.
The restaurant features a warm and inviting atmosphere, with soft lighting that creates the perfect mood. The service was excellent—attentive and friendly. The prices were reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes. I’ll definitely be returning soon! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Best in town! I visited this restaurant for the first time, and I was truly impressed. Their ramen had a unique and amazing flavor that I haven’t found anywhere else. The sushi was fresh, soft, and absolutely delicious. The lemon ginger tea paired perfectly with the food. The cozy and warm atmosphere made me feel right at home. The staff were fast, friendly, and very welcoming. I will definitely come back here once a week!
Erdenesod U — Google review
TLDR: half of the food we ordered tonight was literally RAW and the ramen is literally worse than what anyone could make at home with packet noodles. We used to eat here all of the time, but today we made an order for pickup - curry ramen, miso ramen, chicken karaage, tempura shrimp, gyoza and takoyaki. The chicken karaage and takoyaki were raw, and the tempura shrimp smelled like old shrimp that had been left at room temperature for too long. Previously (under different ownership, apparently), their ramen bowls looked genuinely homemade and worth paying for. Now, the ramen appears to be the same kind you can buy from Hmart, and for the curry ramen, they clearly just add a block of golden curry paste to the same dashi-based broth that they use for other ramen, considering the chunk of curry block was congealed to the bottom of the broth container when we got it. When we tried to get a refund on the RAW FOOD, they first tried to insist that chicken is "supposed to be pink like that, that that's *authentic* (my husband has lived in Japan and even if you haven't, you know it isn't). On the matter of the takoyaki being undercooked, they insisted "it said to cook it for 4 minutes" as if this is the first time they've cooked it or something, which is WILD because we don't own a restaurant and STILL own a takoyaki maker that we FULLY COOK the takoyaki on. God forbid we wanted to be lazy and order instead of cooking our own octopus today. They forced us to call Doordash, insisting they couldn't, at which point DOORDASH said they should have been able to initiate the refund, and turns out this is their second strike with doordash for such a problem this month alone (which coincides with new ownership taking over based on other reviews)! We wouldn't have gotten a refund at all if it wasn't for the kind Doordash employee. Truly a disappointment after the years of good quality we had gotten used to. Go to Osakas or Tasuki if you want this food, don't waste your money here just because of the "nice remodel".

After moving our daughter in for her first year at CU we decided to eat Sushi and figured most of the restaurants would be busy around campus. Thankfully we found this gem. The rolls were delicious, kid friendly and nice service. Thank you for a memorable dinner.

Genuinely the best restaurant experience I’ve had in years. Renovation speaks for itself; it’s an absolutely incredible atmosphere. Staff regularly checked up on us, delivered the food in only a couple minutes, and best of all was extremely personal, and I can’t emphasize that enough. Felt just like I was talking to a lifelong friend. Food was also probably the best I’ve had in all of Colorado, and easily the best sushi and ramen I’ve had. TLDR: Couldn’t recommend it more, staff is great, food is delicious, atmosphere is perfect for all occasions.

Best Ramen ever! Seriously. Home made Japanese noodles, incredible pork Tonkotsu. We’ve been all over Asia and can say this is legit! We also had the curry Ramen and I can say the flavor was just perfect, not too strong not too mild. Sweet spot. The atmosphere was delightful, the owners were lovely and very hospitable. Can’t recommend this place enough. Come on Boulder support this local business! This is coming from a Kansas City resident. You don’t know how good you have it!!
David P — Google review
What a great find Just happened to join someone and so glad we went here. It’s a little hard to find in a plaza across from Safeway but don’t let the construction stop you from turning in. The owner was very kind with recommendations. Stated he just updated the menu to more authentic Japanese with a sushi menu. I am very picky with my sushi, bentos and dumplings and I just loved this place. He stated they make quality homemade sauces and selections Shrimp was tasty and sweet in both the dumpling and sushi Calamari nice and crispy I will def be coming again to try more bentos. And my friend loved his ramen too as he made his happy slurpy sounds. A must stop not just for a fall/winter delight
D W — Google review
This review is for the newly opened and revamped restaurant, not the original. As of August 14th, it has been open for only around two weeks. Our family ate here kind of on a whim, but are so happy to have discovered the place. The food is very good, and well presented. I didn’t think to take a picture, but it was beautiful. They make everything in house, right down to the soy sauce, in the most totally traditional Japanese style. Staff are friendly, welcoming, and humble. And they obviously take great pride in the meals they serve. I would highly recommend people try this new version of the restaurant, especially if they were unimpressed with the former owner’s menu.

Pizza Takeout
Nick-N-Willy's Pizza is a regional counter-serve chain known for its gourmet and premade pies. The unique Italian pizzas come in various delicious options, featuring olive oil glaze, fresh basil, oregano, and a range of cheeses. One popular choice is the Little Nell's Chicken BBQ with tender poultry, red onion, and fresh cilantro.
The most generously topped pizza slices I've ever had! My wife and I both had Mediterranean slices and it was like a salad on thin crust pizza. Absolutely delicious! Seemed pricey at first but once I saw and tasted it, it was worth it!
Andrew L — Google review
What is exceptional about this pizza is how small a slice is for 8$ plus tax. Not worth a dollar. Maybe 50 cents. For shame!
A A — Google review
Honestly, I was tired of walking /shopping and had gotten hangry, so as we sat on the wooden picnic table in the best sunlight and Boulder warmth I gazed upon the corner establishment emanating fresh baked dough and cheese and wings. It was Nick-N-Willy’s. The pizza slice is built right before you and the wings are roasted to perfection almost indistinguishable from the fried version. The sauces are in bottles in the condiment section. The prices were fair and my spouse and I shared the single portion size. Also they do take-and-bake as well. The perfect hangry on the go food item.
Dwayne — Google review
I’ve had some great pizza in the US and all over the world... but there is a special character to Nick-N-Willy’s. Eating a slice or a whole pie is about the experience this business provides. Starting with a great attitude from staff. Yes... a genuine good welcoming attitude. As a new transplant, this is my pizza place in Colorado! Love it!

I am a lil' tipsy right now, but the service is speedy and great. The tomatoes on my pizza were fresh and the dough was great. If you want to come on down, then come on down !

When I placed the order, I didn't realize that it was a Take and Bake place. They were nice enough to bake it for me while I waited. The pizza was good, but nothing out of the ordinary to justify the high price point. Worth a try if you want to checkout a new place. Probably won't be returning.

Really great cheese pizza slice. I had the zesty garlic sauce instead of the red sauce. 4 stars only bc I prefer a more hand tossed. This was thin crust but still good.

Moe's Broadway Bagel is a beloved bakeshop that has been delighting the Boulder community for over 20 years with its authentic New York-style bagels and delectable challah. This charming spot offers an array of flavors, from classic plain to unique options like honey walnut and cranberry, along with a tempting selection of flavored cream cheeses. The atmosphere is casual and upbeat, making it the perfect place to enjoy a scrumptious brunch or grab a quick breakfast sandwich that rivals any fast-food option.
Extremely friendly and accommodating staff, decent bagels, and clean interior. Handled a rather large order with ease. 5 stars just to boost their rating a little, but overall a 4.5 on a Colorado bagel scale.

i just to eat here very frequently when i lived in boulder. but today i ordered a bagel sandwich and the bagel wasn’t toasted?? i’m not sure who wants a raw bagel with their sandwich but wasted my money. also their sign said that the spicy buff was the special for thursday and she still charged me full price for it. employees not very friendly either.

I LOVE Moe's Bagels. Always Fresh and good. Vegetarian choices are on point! Healthy grab and go breakfast and other goodies like homemade cookies. Of course the bagels are made by Moes. The employees always happy! Every one wins!!
Jesse D — Google review
I grew up on Moe’s bagels and to say the least this place is going downhill. My girlfriend and I went in a few days ago to grab something quick for lunch and had the exact opposite. It took me about 20 minutes to get my simple bagel and my girlfriend 15 to get her burrito. By the time we finally got our food the eggs tasted horribly overcooked. The employees looked like they hated their lives and job which I completely understand after having worked in the food industry myself but not acknowledging the fact that a family of 7 got their food before us was beyond me. Moe’s I truly hope you get better at remembering what people order and not just letting people stand around waiting for a simple order for over 20 minutes while talking amongst each other.
Winston H — Google review
Been Moe's customer for many many years. I'm very happy you guys are paying your employees a living wage and do not take tips. But with that, your $$ per item went up and quality of service went down unfortunately. Really just gone downhill in the last year or so. I get the same Manhattan on sesame every time, and on the last 5 visits I have gotten everything else but not my order. Often its a new Yorker, or a wrong bagel, or missing egg, missing tomato, missing salmon once. Just never comes out right event when the place is slow. My boyfriend has been a customer 20+ years, grew up with Moe's. And same deal - he gets a simple egg and cheddar on plain bagel, toasted. You would think there's no way to mess it up. But wait - just today - he got sesame and not a toasted bagel. You guys im just disappointed. I know its hard to find staff that care but you guys being a staple of boulder shpuld at least try. Just super sad seeing this place failing. I hope it gets better for ya
A V — Google review
Good old Moe's was a favorite haunt when I went to school at CU in the '90s and it's still pretty much the same. As busy as ever and bagel breakfast sandwich was exactly as it used to be. The garlic bagels are amazing!
Theo A — Google review
This was my favorite place for 2 years until I moved further from the location. Decided to stop over the weekend when I was in the area and was super excited. Got a breakfast sandwich to go (spicy buff), when I went to eat it, the bagel wasn't toasted at all, assembly was a mess. It was soo disappointing to have a cold bagel, never ever had to ask for it toasted when getting a speciality sandwich in the past and it's really annoying when you are paying $16 for one sandwich!!
Erica P — Google review
I put a preorder in and when I got there the lobby was empty. My order was still not ready for 20 minutes. I dont know if the staff is too tired, but to me it seemed like they were all to high to make to their jobs in a timely fashion. They proceeded to help everyone that came in but didnt work on the preorder they had for 20 minutes. The food came out so greasy they couldnt give me my receipt and I was late for work

When did Abo's Pizza become so expensive?? It cost me $63 for two pizzas. One large, one medium. One cheese and one with meat. I won't go again unless I have a coupon. The pizza is good but not 31.50 for a cheese pizza! Ridiculous

Asian restaurant
On Pearl Street, there are numerous outstanding dining options. Among them are the authentic Asian establishments that should not be overlooked. Little Tibet is a Tibetan restaurant that stands out amongst the rest. This eatery offers delectable lunch and dinner specials daily, as well as convenient takeout options. Patrons rave about their mouthwatering dishes such as Chili chicken and Chicken Bhuna, which receive high praise for their exceptional taste. The attentive staff adds to the overall pleasant experience at Little Tibet.
This was my first time trying Tibet food! The fried spring rolls were really good along with the chili pork and chicken curry. I got the gyathuk which was also pretty tasty. Definitely check out this cool little spot. They made great use of their space and the paintings were cool to look at. The servers were friendly and the vibes were just right.

While driving back to Denver from Rocky Mountain National Park, I stumbled upon a highly recommended restaurant in Boulder. Unfortunately, both the Chicken Tikka Masala and the Lamb Biryani were underwhelming. The Tikka Masala was surprisingly bland, and I'm honestly not sure how this place garnered good reviews for it. As for the Lamb Biryani, it had a distinctly sour taste, likely due to a tomato-based sauce, which was very unusual for biryani in my experience—I've never had lamb biryani with sour rice before! The only other drawback was the staffing—they seemed unprepared for the Fourth of July crowds. Given the disappointing food, I would not recommend this place.
Hendra W — Google review
Visited this Tibetan restaurant for lunch on a weekend. The space was large and had a nice cultural vibe, but unfortunately, there was a strong, unpleasant pungent odor in the dining area that was hard to ignore. I ordered the Phing Sha (glass noodles with beef) and naan. The dish was quite watery, and lacked flavor—it tasted very mild and bland. The beef didn’t carry any masala or seasoning. The naan was freshly made but far too thin and ended up dry and crunchy, more like a cracker than naan. On the bright side, the service was excellent. The staff was kind and attentive, which I truly appreciated. I really wanted to enjoy the food, but it just didn’t connect with me this time. Hoping for some improvements in flavor and preparation in the future.
Robin M — Google review
Friendly owner, great service and really good reasonably priced food. Stopped in for some lunch on Saturday. We got coconut chicken soup, chicken pakora and the momo sampler. The pakora is smaller pieces than I normally find but you get a lot and the seasoning is really nice. Both the green and tamarind sauces were very good. The sauces for the momo were also outstanding with the darker red one being the spiciest one I have been served with momo yet. Even the chai was better than average. We are looking forward to coming back and checking out a lot more of the menu.
Jeffrey J — Google review
Have always loved the food here. Sometimes they are quite slow, but almost always worth it. Love the chicken Tikka Masala.

Delicious Tibetan/Indian cuisine in North Boulder. Seriously one of the best restaurants of this cuisine I’ve eaten at. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Came with a group and tried a smattering of apps and entrees. Everything was super tasty, well flavored, and fresh. Highly recommended!
Josh L — Google review
I wanted to love this place, but it was a big disappointment. The restaurant smelled like vinegar when we walked in, no one else was there. Service was awful — after bringing menus, the server disappeared. I had to track him down to place our order, again to get the bill, and we never once got water refills. He was sitting in the back on his phone the whole time. The food wasn’t any better: took 30+ minutes, the Chicken Tikka Masala was completely bland, and the naan tasted like it had been frozen and reheated. Nearly $60 for two people felt like a rip-off. Add the sketchy parking lot vibe with people smoking weed and you’ve got a bad experience all around. Save your money — there are way better options in Boulder.
Erika N — Google review
The food was freaking delicious. I have never experienced better dumplings. The naan was so soft and flavorful, and the potato and onion breads were perfection. We were thoroughly impressed by the Ngotsel Nanzom. The portion sizes were great for the price, more than we could eat. Awesome service with a comfy, pleasant atmosphere.
