Excellent lunch menu. I had garlic soup followed by veal sirloin steak medallions in a truffle sauce. Really good value and excellent service. The place was packed with locals.

Stopped for a late lunch. Menu of the day €16. 95. Lots of choice and good quality- even the house wine is pretty good (I tried the white). I really enjoyed the tuna à la plancha.

Good place, we tried daily menu and it was ok. Staff wasnt very attentive and it lasted too much for getting the food. Dishes were yummy and they got a large variety of them to choose.

Good meal chuletas de palo but ajo aciete was from jar. Others had good items. Deserts were home made.

An amazing meal. The lunch menu, which consists of an appetizer, entree, dessert, bread, and your choice of water and wine, is an absolute bargain at 16€. Friendly staff as well.

By far the best restaurant in Teruel. The food was the best we have had in some time, simply an outstanding restaurant

Maybe our expectations where to high reading the reviews and the recommendations from a restaurant in Zaragoza where we had a great diner and fantastic wines. We went for the menu degustation, 8 different flavours and accompanying wines. The famous sommelier wasn't working unfortunately. Within less than 2 hours everything was served, hardly enough time to drink the wines, it looked like the staff wanted to get home early. Some of the early dishes were fine, some wines too, but nothing spectacular. The last 3 dishes were a real bummer, 2 of them much to salty and the last one much too sweet. And no accompanying wine to go with the last one.. Very disappointing much to our regret.
Paul L — Google review
Visited for my birthday mid October. We had the tasting menu. FABULOUS food and amazing wine ❤️ Very impressed with the special wine equipment that allows them to offer 200 wines by the glass, without taking the cork out of the bottle. Our waiter was extremely helpful. 100% recommended!

Tapas bar
Pura Cepa Vermú is a small, family-friendly eatery in Teruel, Spain that specializes in Spanish tapas and offers an extensive selection of vermouth. This charming establishment is wheelchair accessible and provides outdoor seating. With attentive waitstaff and a cozy atmosphere, Pura Cepa Vermú is the perfect place to enjoy lunch, dinner, or brunch. The bar also serves alcohol including wine and beer, making it an ideal spot for those looking to indulge in a relaxing drink.
We will come back to Teruel if only to meet the very friendly Emiliano and his staff in this truly special tapas and vermouth bar. This is what Spain is all about. Hidden gems like this. I’ll be spending more time giving thought to vermouth as an accompaniment to my tapas in future. Pura Cepa has an enormous range to try as well as numerous wines to try by the glass. The best and most original tapas we had in over a month traveling in Spain. The anchovies with aioli, the tempura eggplant with honey, the suckling pig filled little rolls and the deep fried shrimp cakes in batter were all we could manage and this very characterful establishment in this wonderful little town makes the drive to this part of Spain worthwhile Just a little over €20 each. Worth every cent.

Portal de Guadalaviar is a modest hotel restaurant that offers innovative Spanish cuisine with a focus on vegan-friendly options. Visitors have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and attentive service. The menu del dia, which includes generous portions and free-flowing wine and water, has received praise. Guests particularly enjoyed the sopa de ajo, perfect for Teruel's cold weather. The establishment is recommended for its creative dishes, generous portion sizes, and friendly service at fair prices.
I was craving hot soup, something I found out is hard to come by here in Spain. I was lucky to have stumbled upon this place. Service was excellent, and they had what I was looking for! Sopa de ajo is one of the best dishes I've tried. It's comfy, and perfect for Teruel's cold weather. Other restaurants should imitate it and always have a bowl of hot soup or stew on the menu.
IKarly — Google review
We had an excellent dining experience here, and would thoroughly recommend the establishment. The food was creatively served, yet the portion sizes were generous, which isn't always the case! The homemade croquettes are quite possibly the finest I've tasted and the main course of turbot was a delight. Friendly service too.
James H — Google review
Stumbled in somewhat randomly with a group of five and was positively surprised by the quality of the food and service. The menu del dia offers great portions, my tuna carpaccio was both delicious and generous in size, and the servers were incredibly helpful and attentive (especially in offering information and substitutions for food allergies). The menu del día also includes as much wine and water as you’d like, and they are happy to leave a bottle at your table and offer seconds of bread etc. I’d definitely recommend or return here, especially given the wonderful service.
Mica M — Google review
Great service and food! The menú of the day which includes wine and an assortment of appetizers and desserts was unbeatable for the price (€27) Place is tastefully designed.

We've been here on New year's eve dinner, the experience was kind of weird... They have tried it hard, but they need time to improve. Next year we'll try some other place for sure.

Amazing experience from Guillermo and the team, I believe this deserves 2 Michelin stars, would highly recommend based on personal experience

Best meal I had in Spain. This is a recommended Michelin restaurant and IT WAS THE BEST. Best meal so far that I had in Spain. Their tuna was so delicious. It melts in your mouth. I also enjoyed their pig’s ears! Surprisingly :)) Their caviar pate was so yummy too. I love the quality of food here!
Marga B — Google review
Great food, ambience and service! A three course meal promotion costs €15 each. The food is divine. The service is incredible professional, and the music and style has an elegance to it. The brócoli with curry was amazing, as was the bacalao!

If this place does not get a michelin star in a years time I will be shocked. Everything was brilliant, the food, service and chilled atmosphere. The way they combined Asian and Spanish flavours was magical.

What a great restaurant with excellent food and service we will definitely return
Trevor B — Google review
The place is unique and I guarantee you won’t find any similar in Teruel. We were here two years ago and now we wanted to try again after the change of the locations. I felt from when we arrived till we left the waiters made a huge effort on making us feeling comfort. They did an absolute great job! Combined with our high expectations of the food they chef delivered too! We found the theme of using all part of the Tuna super cool and the food was very tasty. We started with the octopus having 4 small tapas. I must say the croquettes with ham is by far the best I ever had in my entire life in Spain! Next up was a dish looking like ham slices with crispy toasties and butter but what it really was tuna slices, butter made of the fat of the eye and the bread thin crisp and delicious. Very surprised by the look and flavour highly recommended. Then we went to have the mushroom of the season in some kind a cream, oh my this dish was warm and so full of flavour. Before getting to the dessert we jumped into to the wagyu osso buco it was tender and perfectly cooked a heavy dish but the chef abs staff managed to serve it in a size that was spot on for 2 not too much or too little. The dessert I wouldn’t say we were as high about as all the dishes the look was great really inviting chocolate dessert with ocean theme however a little small and I would say flavour and experience was very standard compared to the rest of the country. Important to say I it didn’t disappoint it was just not at the same level as the other dishes. We will be back soon for sure. Highest recommendations from here.
Danni R — Google review
I would probably have rated them higher IF THEY HAD NOT CANCELLED OUR RESERVATION LESS THAN TWO HOURS IN ADVANCE LEAVING NO DINNER PLANS. Even though the confirmed the reservation, twice, they said they had an event and couldn’t do it. If you don’t know you can honor the reservation DONT TAKE iT. You’ve got a Michelin star and this is how you treat guests?

The restaurant Cielo Mudéjar has a great atmosphere, good food, and a variety of plates to choose from. They also offer coffee, which is only let down by its lack of quality.
A real talent of a chef . I was so surprised at the level of sophisticated dishes , the food is the Star ⭐ of the Restaurants along with a host of beautiful servers who were pleasant and professional. I spoke to the Chef to convey my appreciation for his creations . It's a pity I don't live in the area so I can try all his dishes . Well worth the price for the joy on my taste buds . Recommend you to come here for a gastronomic pleasure experience.

Restaurante Los Marqueses de Vasalbar, located in the historic center of Teruel near the cathedral, stands out as the top dining choice during one's visit. Unlike the bustling main square, this centrally situated restaurant offers a peaceful ambiance. The service is prompt and amiable, while the menu boasts an impressive array of regional dishes. Of particular note is the delectable morro frito (fried pig snout).
Food is really delicious. All eight dishes we order are good. We like them. Service is good. It’s next to the museum of Teruel.

Very busy but I understand why. We stopped for a cortado but when we saw the lovely bread that was available for a tostado we had to try one. Opted for jamón y tomate. The waitress said it would be good. Wee she was not wrong the best I have ever eaten and it is actually my partner that is a Serrano lover I do not really like it. But if this was my local I would have it every visit. Toilets were clean and well stocked. And are wheelchair friendly. Although busy the staff were efficient and pleasant.

By far the best meal we experienced during our stay in Teruel. La Marquesa is centrally located in the old town close to the cathedral but not too busy compared to the main square. The service was quick and friendly. There was an excellent selection of regional dishes on the menu - the morro frito was especially delicious!

(Translated by Google) I've been there several times, as this establishment offers good quality food (I suggest trying the cod millefeuille). I haven't seen it anywhere else, and I love it. But what I like most is the quality of the people who work there. In my case, I had the pleasure of meeting the manager, who I find to be a pleasant and attentive person, and Ana, who is extremely attentive, pleasant, and professional at all times at the table. I go to many restaurants, and I can say this is one of those that takes its clientele seriously. Bravo for that. By the way, one of the doors has a ramp for wheelchair users. It's always a pleasure to return! La Mina Gastro Bar is a small Spanish bar with a charming terrace. Despite its size, it offers excellent and friendly service along with delicious food. The award-winning croquettes are a must-try, and the goat cheese salad is described as delightful. Additionally, the veggie burger made from real vegetables and served with goat cheese receives high praise. While it can get busy due to its popularity, the staff remains professional and kind.
Found this lovely little restaurant, the food was amazing and the service superb. It's a shame they don't have more space as it's a bit cramped. Would highly recommend.

Wow, great find just off the main square. Small but very accommodating and good service. We had the Patatas La Mina, chicken sandwich, bao buns, and pulled pork sandwich all of which were very good plus great brownie and mango mousse desserts. Highly recommend.

Food was nice, but they charged for an extra glass of wine, and we paid for the most expensive red , but was poured inferior wine. Leaves a bad taste. I can read wine labels. Pity. Waitress seemed nice , so not sure why she ripped us off. So cheap we did t argue. We just left smaller tip .
Sinead I — Google review
Enjoyed a veggie burger and fries here. The burger was lovely - we're not a big fan of "beyond burger" and other fake meat. We like a veggie burger to be made of vegetables, not highly processed protein. A proper vegetable burger is what you get here. Very tasty, and we had ours with goats cheese which just melted into the burger and made it taste even more devine. Perfect service too. Lovely little place.

It is a small, but lovely place near the central area of Teruel. You'd better go early to sit on table, but if you can't, you can take foods out to home. With a lot of customers, the staffs were really busy, but they were professional and kind. Also, their foods were lovely, also. I highly recommend you to have a chance to visit this restaurant.

Small family run bar in a side street just off one of the main squares in Teruel. Very busy, clearly benefitting from a good reputation with take away food as well as excellent tapas and home made burgers. Good service with reasonable prices. Well deserved star rating and worth seeking out if you stop over in Teruel as we did.

La Mina is one of those Spanish bars where you could walk by in an instant. It is small with a little terras near the road. But, when you are lucky enough that you go in for some tapas, or sit on the terras, you are welcomed with excellent and friendly service and great food. The Croquettas are an award winning delicassy where we came back for in the evening, for seconds. The salad with goat cheese was nothing short of delicious, very very good. Go there and enjoy!

(Translated by Google) Totally recommended, exceptional treatment, very good attention and the exquisite taste and preparation of the food. I ordered rice with duck and mushrooms that was super tasty, then cod with black olives and Iberian ratatouille that was very good. For dessert, puff pastry filled with chocolate with cream ice cream. Perfect combination. And the menu only €15.50. It's a shame that because of its hidden location, it's not easily found, because it's worth it.

Exceptional!! My husband and I stayed here for a number of days and loved it. By the time we arrived we had been travelling in Spain for approximately 5 weeks mostly staying in apartments each time. This one was among the best. What we loved the most was the fact that it had a spacious balcony that overlooks the Plaza del Torico and its fountain and many restaurants and bars. We also liked that it was bright and spacious and recently renovated. The kitchen was well appointment and the manager Jesus was very pleasant and helpful with information about the town.

Stayed at Amantes penthouse apartment and loved it. Right on one of the main squares of Teruel with nice hustle and bustle and walking distance from literally all the important sights. Modern apartment with 2 bedrooms and a very comfortable sleeper couch, 2 modern bathrooms, kitchen with fridge, microwave, dish washer and a Lavazzo coffeemachine with lots of coffee including in your stay. Also nice balcony overlooking the square with table and chairs. Airconditioning and shutters so nicely cool and dark when you want. Great value for money, would recommend to everyone that is visiting Teruel. Paid parking really close by and free parking about 750 meter from the apartment. Wouldn't want to day anywhere else

(Translated by Google) The apartment was perfect, new, clean, and in an unbeatable location. Being right on Plaza del Torico, there was some noise when the balconies opened, but even that noise was pleasant because it immersed you in the life of Teruel. We slept wonderfully. The beds were very comfortable, and the sofa bed was large. The person who helped us at check-in was friendly. There was a small misunderstanding at first, but everything was resolved without a problem. Absolutely recommendable. (Original) El apartamento estaba perfecto, nuevo, limpio y ubicación inmejorable. Additionally, Rufino has transformed into a Japanese restaurant, inviting patrons to savor its delectable offerings.

Furthermore, the cuisine, which is what we go for when we enter a restaurant, is excellent. If Teruel had nothing to do with it, eating here would justify the trip. If you add to this everything that the city offers, it will take you a while to plan your visit. (Translated by Google) It's a shame that a restaurant like that is focused on the menu. And when you order from the menu, he pulls out frozen goods and serves it to you with a plate full of water, because it defrosts quickly. There were three tables and it was incredibly hot. The truffle was dry and without any aroma. Commented all this to the waiter, He says that he buys the truffle in February, and that it is normal for it to be dry, but he charges the same for the dishes in February as in August. In short, a disaster. And if the truffle is not in good condition, remove the menu plate.

From the entrance, you can already tell that you're entering an elegant place, a fact confirmed as soon as you enter and see the perfectly set dining room, everything tidy and very clean. It was Sunday, and in addition to the menu, there was a tasting menu with two starters to share, two main courses, dessert, and a drink, all for 25 euros per person. The first course was foie gras with four jams and toasted bread, and spring garlic scramble with prawns and mushrooms. The main course was confit cod and sirloin. 2014 Viñas del Vero Crianza wine from Somontano. For dessert, profiteroles with cream and two flans were served alongside. We weren't charged for the coffees or the shots. The restrooms were spotlessly clean, and nothing was missing. As for the staff's service, it goes without saying that it's among the best I've seen in the industry, for their professionalism, friendliness, and attentiveness, always with a smile. I hope the owners appreciate this as much as we do, because if you're not served well, politely, and kindly, no matter how good the food is, you won't come back. 100% recommended. Strange experience for me. I arrived at 3:30pm with a 5pm posted closing. I’m American and I’m not expecting Spanish restaurants to conform to my standards… But the server said she could serve me if I was fast. I got only a to go box with no silverware and had to eat with my hands in their atrium, despite having ordered 2 beers so I wasn’t holding up closing. I would have preferred a “No,” or a “to go only,” instead of letting me buy 2 drinks and telling me I could eat on their patio then refusing to provide silverware or plastic ware. And this was a stew, not easy to eat with ones fingers.

Nestled in the heart of Teruel, Restaurante Locavore is a delightful spot that captures the essence of Mediterranean dining. With a menu brimming with enticing options like risotto and carpaccio, this eatery offers a relaxed atmosphere perfect for sharing platters among friends. While some may find its decor modest and space limited, the culinary experience shines through with dishes that are both flavorful and thoughtfully prepared.
We had a superb meal here, with its ingenious modern take on classic tapas. The octopus, sea bass and wok-cooked veggies in sherry were absolutely delicious. And the desserts - white chocolate soup and 6 textures of apples - are off the planet. Staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, especially when catering for a pescatarian. Good value, too, for such delicious food.

It is a highly overrated restaurant. In reality this is a very small and cheap looking cafe with a plastic everything. It is also cramped and not cozy at all. The food is quite good, but nothing special, rather regular. The service is also rather average, more annoying than friendly.

Restaurante El Mercao de Teruel is a cozy venue offering a homemade daily menu with a wide variety of flavors that adapt to each season. The restaurant also provides gluten-free dishes certified by the Celiac Association of Aragon. Despite language barriers, the helpful staff ensures a pleasant dining experience. The menu features local specialties such as Teruel jamon and lamb chops, along with options for children.
Restaurante El Mercao de Teruel offers delicious main dishes with great flavors—like the tender octopus and juicy Chuletas de Ternasco. However, the desserts were disappointing and didn’t live up to the rest of the meal. Worth visiting for the mains, but skip the sweets.

We arrived rather late and without a reservation. They were absolutely packed, but graciously let us wait a few minutes, and served us. The set menu (25€) has many of the dishes from the a la carte, and includes bread and delicious cool water. The tomato salad was simple and tasty. The « migas » were of excellent quality. The main dish we both chose, tuna solomillo, was perfectly cooked and filled us so much that we asked to takeaway our desserts (they obliged). The waiter, Coco, was professional and helpful. (Translated by Google) We ate on October 12th. The food wasn't bad, it tasted good, but the service was terrible. We were surprised that the waitress who served us didn't write down our orders, which we told her, and asked if she was going to remember everything, to which she replied yes, no problem. We ordered a children's menu of croquettes, and she brought us a sirloin steak, and we had to tell her she'd made a mistake and asked her to change it. She then brought out the main courses one at a time, not at the same time, so some people ate but others didn't. The final straw was when the hamburger we had ordered hadn't arrived, and we saw that tables that had ordered much later than us were being served plates. We asked, and the waitress hadn't ordered it. We asked if she could please make it for us, and she still hadn't appeared. We asked again, and she told us they were just putting it on the grill. We told her we didn't want it anymore and that she could please bring the check. Another waitress brought us the bill, apologized, and told us she was buying us a drink. She did, however, put the burger on the bill. Thank goodness we checked the bill and told her. The same thing happened at the table next to us; someone went without food because their plate didn't come out. Terrible service. Servicio nefasto.

The restaurant, Café 1900 Teruel, offers a delightful dining experience with a variety of delicious dishes. Both the lunch and dinner menus feature squid croquette as a highlight item, complemented by different ingredients such as shrimp, spinach, walnuts, and "gula" (a fish resembling spaghetti). The lunch also includes an egg dish with fig mousse and walnut whipped cream for dessert.
The food was very nice, great for some tapas, the Teruel ham was nice too, very well cut. The was a great variety of food, it wasn’t packed, but there were a few people there when I arrived. I definitely recommend this place for some tapas.

Delicious lunch of authentic Jamón de Teruel, sliced fresh. Sabiha was extremely helpful and friendly. Our Spanish is very limited, so we appreciated her language skills. She made our visit a pleasure.

This cafe is in the best location on the square. There are several to choose from and we ended up here because there was a table available… The service was slow; we had to wait several minutes before our presence was acknowledged and then we had to wave down the waiters before we were served. We nearly walked out…Beer was cold, vermut was nice and strong. The jamon was freshly sliced and delicious.

Right on the square. Food was good but very similar to everywhere else. More for the outdoor seating, crowd watching, nice wine and good service. Great location.
Paul A — Google review
The atmosphere is the only thing you are paying for. Despite every local avoiding this place like the plague, the service was slower than the movement of teutonic plates. THE absolute worst was after patiently waiting for my steak for an entire hour, reminding the nonchalant waitress of my order that she had the audacity to serve me a cold steak. Then she caught an attitude because I refused to eat a cold steak. Instead of apologizing straight to gaslighting and deflecting. And the manager tried to argue with me. What is wrong with you people? Leaving this review so I know to never come back here.

Went there for a team diner total of 10 peoples. The table was a bit small for such number of people. The food was good but too much salted for most people with us. This is the main concern as the meat was of good quality and wine was good too.

Restaurante Venecia is a traditional eatery established in 1959 and renovated in 2007. It offers a blend of traditional and innovative flavors, with special menus that are sure to amaze. The restaurant operates from Monday to Thursday, opening at 8:00 AM until closing time, with afternoons reserved for reservations. They also cater to gluten intolerant individuals with a specialized menu that includes gluten-free bread, beer, and pasta.
Just great food and nice service. However, this doesn't really do it justice. The food is really good. Quality ingredients well presented and some really nice tasting food. We had the cod and the slow roasted lamb and this was just fantastic. Go here and you won't be disappointed Update: we liked this place so much we went back the following day. I can confirm the lamb was just as good if not better. Other dishes we had were just as nice and so is the service.

(Translated by Google) A real disgrace. Regarding the food, while it's not bad, the advertising doesn't match what's served (e.g., squid is served instead of calamari); the ice creams are actually made to order, but the kitchen decides to order them. The price is somewhat high for what's offered. Service: strict with the schedule, and snobby and distant. They don't know how to handle groups (a table of six overwhelmed them and worsened their attitude toward the rest of the customers, who had to endure sneers and some outbursts). The worst part, though, is that at least two minors consumed alcohol in the presence of waiters without anyone saying anything. Deplorable and unacceptable. Maybe I should have called the police... my fault. Deplorable e inaceptable. We were on a long road trip and just wanted a quick bite to eat, but they wouldn't serve us any food. After much insistence, they showed us the menu, saying that whatever we ordered would take a long time, so we ordered a mixed sandwich to go because there were supposedly no tables, but then we saw locals sitting at the tables in the entrance. They brought us the sandwich in aluminum foil and told us we could sit at one of those tables!!! And then we saw them serving a man at the bar a slice of Teruel ham toast!!! We didn't want the full menu: we would have settled for a toasted sandwich, but they didn't even offer us that. We ended up eating a sandwich wrapped in aluminum foil. Terrible experience. Although they're geared toward catering to guests staying at the adjacent hotel (family tourism), they had room for two to eat. The menu, though limited (three starters and three main courses), featured well-prepared dishes, some combining local produce with oriental touches (pork-filled gyozas, sea bass garnished with seaweed, etc.), beautifully presented and generously presented, making the price quite reasonable (€25/person, including bread, drink, and dessert). We ordered wine with our meal, and they brought us a full bottle. We were also able to swap dessert for coffee and enjoy it on the incredible interior terrace, a delight for the little ones. Similar menus can be found right in the center—even more expensive, or not all-inclusive—so it's worth a visit. The service was efficient but sullen. Certainly didn't feel welcome. Not their fault but the table next to us were all smoking and it constantly blew over us. The heuvos rotos con morcilla was very good as was the white wine once we'd argued that they did in fact serve white wine. Wouldn't go back as there are so many other bars and restaurants in the area to choose from.

We visited here whilst passing through Teruel. The food was fabulous and the service excellent. Our little dogs were made welcome too. It's always difficult when travelling with the dogs to find places where we can take them as leaving them in the car is not an option if it's sunny. This will definitely be one of our stop offs when passing through.

(Translated by Google) It seems to me like I want and I can't of an Italian restaurant. I think the waitress was called Yasmina or something like that, a little unpleasant, rushing us since we had arrived at 3:27 p.m. and said that if we wanted to eat we had to order before 3:30 p.m.... Everything was ridiculous, with a gray face, not at all friendly. We didn't leave because we were hungry. We ordered a carbonara pizza and some wings "in water" not in the oven, what a shame... Heated in the microwave and 0 flavor, we asked for a sauce to disguise it and it said that you cannot give sauces with the wings, completely gridded. The beer mugs... Anyway, I didn't take a photo, he has never had a good beer in his life, half foam (not cream) half beer. The pizza is half saved. In terms of flavor, apart from the fact that it was SALTY, it was allowed to be eaten. We will never return, and I hope they change a little or they will go to hell. The decoration of the place seems like a museum of bad art, a place without soul, a grotesque.

She didn't even remember. The food wasn't bad: the paella was good, the huevos rotos (there was only one egg) were good but a little too oily. I have visited Segunda Avenida several times with my friends and family. On each occasion, we usually opt for tapas. While they are satisfactory, there is room for improvement. In particular, the squid leaves something to be desired as it is evident that they are frozen and possess an unusual flavor. Additionally, the desserts lack originality and resemble store-bought products. Nevertheless, Segunda Avenida is a serene and aesthetically pleasing cafe where one can unwind and enjoy their dining experience.

(Translated by Google) The restaurant thing is saying a lot. We ate in the bar area. The bathrooms are right there and the door is open constantly. That's mostly because the layout of the room is not ideal for eating and the people are disgusting and inconsiderate. The food is stale and sparse. To start, if you want wine, a glass is included in the menu price. The truth is, for a wine of such low quality, it wouldn't hurt to put the bottle on the table. The delicacies of Teruel consist of three breads and four fillets of serrano ham. The risotto was the typical cream-based one. Come on, it was anything but risotto. And the cannelloni is nothing to remember. As for the seconds, they were all accompanied by the house brand fries. I say this not because they were especially good, but because they have considered that adding that frozen French fry to all the dishes is a good resource. I'm sorry to say it's not a good idea. The desserts didn't captivate me either. The service from the staff was correct and attentive, but both because of the place itself and the quality and quantity of the food, I must say that it is a rather weak place. I don't recommend it.

The menu states very clearly, "table of DOP Ham with toasted bread, tomato and "oil from Bajo Aragón." Once they bring us the order, we check (you can see in the photo), that what the oil is. in the bread..., it is conspicuous by its most complete absence, so we tell it to a waitress who gives us an individual YBARRA oil, an oil that is not from lower Aragón, simply to fill the "dry" bread that us They had given us the first request. We did not find the experience pleasant, since the treatment with the customer is quite "dry". The beer was cold and very good, and the Ham, not knowing the DO Ham from Teruel, was. Good, but I still have the doubt if it is original from Teruel or not. I am left with the doubt, but it was good.

Nestled just 1.2 miles from the Mudejar towers and the Cathedral, Parador de Teruel is a Moorish-inspired hotel offering refined rooms and suites. The 4-star hotel boasts spacious accommodations adorned in a Mudejar style, seamlessly blending modern comfort with traditional charm. Guests can enjoy an outdoor pool, tennis courts, and dining options on-site.
Although the hotel is becoming a little tired, especially the main circulation areas and staircases, it is nevertheless a building that is oozing with charm & character! Ideally situated on the outskirts of Teruel, it is perfectly located with easy access off the motorway and plenty of free parking spaces. It is just a 25 minute walk to the city centre. There is no footpath but it is a fairly quiet road. Rooms are well equipped, the staff helpful & friendly. We didn't eat in the restaurant as we arrived late so enjoyed a snack in the bar instead. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Would definitely stay again, if only due to its location & free parking.

Great service from all the staff. Room was very comfortable and the food was good. The city is within walking distance so it’s an ideal place to stay and explore.

Good location. Lots of outdoor space and a lovely swimming pool. Staff are multi lingual and very friendly. Standard rooms a little small but good WiFi and we got a room at the back so no road noise. They do barbecues, but the restaurant is outstanding. Wonderful food and great service. Easy parking. Definitely recommended.

This is a beautiful Parador. The staff were excellent from check-in to restaurant to check-out. The interior of both the hotel and our room was excellent. The views were great and both the dinner and breakfast were excellent. Parador's and their Portuguese counter parts, Posada's, are excellent values and in beautiful historic settings. Parking is right outside. We would stay there again. The picture is Teruel from our window.

Another parador which lives up to what you expect from this hotel group. Beautiful historic building with five star customer service. Wonderful food with wide choice of wine. Plenty of free parking but also the option of paid garage parking. There is a seasonal swimming pool and also tennis courts.

Surrounded by trees, you'd never know the hotel is located just off a main road. The staff are efficient and friendly, and the rooms are very nice with comfortable beds. The pool area was quite popular as it was a hot day. Paradors never disappoint.

(Translated by Google) We popped into this restaurant for lunch today by chance. We were looking for other restaurants in Teruel with the best reviews, but they were full. And it was a pleasant surprise to end up here. We ordered: the goat cheese salad, the Teruel delicacies, the box of torreznos with Padrón peppers, and the cheesecake. For the kid, a plate of French omelet with potatoes. Drinks: two alcoholic beers, one non-alcoholic beer, a pineapple juice, and an iced coffee. The first thing they brought was the kid's meal, a very appreciated touch, as the kid stopped being a nuisance right away. Afterwards, everything was for us to share. The food was delicious! The portions were very good in terms of quantity and quality. The only thing we didn't like was the dessert. The cake crust was dry and tasted like something out of the fridge. Other than that, the meal was great. The staff was very attentive to the kid. They were also very kind to us and the other customers. In fact, it started to rain heavily while we were eating inside, and they welcomed an elderly woman into the restaurant so she wouldn't get wet, and they also reprimanded a delivery driver for not stopping work in that circumstance. As a customer, I really appreciated both of these actions, which were so kind to these two people. Therefore, the final impression of the meal was unbeatable. It cost us €63.80 (I didn't take a photo of the bill), and I will definitely be back.

The waiters were kind enough to let us eat inside with our dog (a rather large dog who tends to be judged by appearance, even though he's a very well-behaved dog) because it was cold and rainy, and we didn't want to sit on any of the terraces. They were also especially kind, even giving him some pieces of ham. It was simply a gesture that made us very happy, and we'll definitely be back. The food was homemade and delicious, even the desserts. Thank you so much!!! Simplemente muchas gracias !!!

I ordered steak and it was excellent. Everyone else ordered pizza and no one finished there plate. Not a great pizza. The owner/ waiter was friendly when you could find him. When catering for children, pizza normally is the easy option but I was disappointed to see food left on there plate when normally they finish before me. There is 2 Italian restaurants in Teruel and I did read the ratings before I went so I was not that surprised. Didn't think you could go wrong with pizza but you live and learn. We did eat early so maybe the kitchen was not ready for early diners. I hate to not recommend a place but I would suggest the other Italian in town if it's open. Sorry Pasta Bella.

They put us at a table next to the children's area, in the basement, with a musty smell. The children's area is all broken and full of dirt. Dirty dishes too. The food, a super thin dough pizza (at least it seemed like it was homemade) with four slices of zucchini, eggplant, cherries and mushrooms, of dubious quality. The salad was correct, but the mushrooms gave us a bad vibe. Overall, very bad experience. We paid 32 euros and left hungry. We called at 15’50h if they are still open for lunch and they said yes, we also said in advance that we would be arriving in 20 min which we did. When we arrived a woman assisted us but when she got out orders of TAPAS (instead of the menu del dia) it seemed like she did not like it at all. It was very UNPLEASANT how she treated us after. Only the waiter (the only guy in the restaurant) assisted us properly. We ordered 4 half tapas in total and we just wanted to have lunch fast and leave but the way we felt after our orders were taken made us want to finish fast and leave. On the other hand, the food was very good although the service was unexpectedly VERY BAD (except for the guy). I hope this review helps tourists like me, who, after coming to teruel expecting FRIENDLY PEOPLE comes to a restaurant with service like this.

Restaurante Asador Medieval is a cozy establishment with medieval decor that may not look inviting from the outside, but it offers a delightful dining experience inside. The menu features delicious options such as grilled rabbit, cheese board, and beans with pork snout. The restaurant's specialty lies in cooking meat over an open charcoal fire, resulting in some of the tastiest steaks. Despite being stumbled upon by accident, visitors were pleasantly surprised by the friendly service and quick serving time.
Went to this place for a light meal on a very quiet evening. Service was very friendly and attentive. The garlic soup was flavourful and filling, and the grilled vegetables were delicious and plentiful. Shrimp skewer was bigger than expected for the price, and properly prepared. (Translated by Google) What a wonderful shop! The most fascinating thing about this concept is the clear – yes, sometimes serious – contrast between optics and cuisine. How is it normally? When you enter a restaurant with starched white tablecloths and lots of shiny glass and cutlery, you expect good quality, sometimes inventive, sometimes "nothing special", but definitely expensive cuisine. On the other hand, if you walk into a shop with plastic tables and local customers in boiler suits who spend their lunch break there, you expect inexpensive home cooking without any special surprises. It can be delicious - if you're lucky - but it can also not be good. The absolutely special thing about Cafetería Serruchi is that you get really upscale, artfully presented gastronomic quality in a simple environment and for little money (sic!)! I would thoroughly recommend lunch at Cafetería Serruchi to anyone who is passing through Teruel or is just staying there for a few hours (the city is definitely worth a visit). The pictures speak for themselves - but it should be added: The dishes are not only absolutely fresh and very tasty, but also sophisticated. Here a sprig of rosemary, there a layer of jellied fruit on the local cheesecake variation... Ask the owner or the chef for advice on what is particularly recommended - you won't be disappointed. More than convincing. The chef knows his craft – a big compliment! The service is quick and friendly, and despite the busy atmosphere and high noise levels, you immediately feel at home here - especially when the food is served. And when the bill finally comes – even more so. 😉 If I could give six stars I would!

(Translated by Google) It's a traditional village bar, with a daily menu of six or seven starters and six or seven main courses, plus dessert. The staff was always very friendly. We went because it has good reviews for the gluten-free food and cross-contamination, as we were traveling with a daughter with celiac disease. They're very careful with this, as one of the owner's sons is celiac, and they really do a very good job. They provide different-colored napkins for people with celiac disease, so there's no confusion, and when you order a menu for someone with celiac disease, they assign a dedicated person to prepare your meal to avoid possible cross-contact with gluten-containing food. They also ensure that virtually all dishes on the menu are gluten-free. In our case, of all the starters and main courses on the menu that day, only one (only one of about 12 dishes) was not suitable for celiacs. Of the rest, we were able to order whatever we wanted. Among the desserts, most were also suitable, except for the custard and some others that included cookies. It was a good experience, since knowing (and especially seeing that it was actually there) what celiac disease is and being able to control the issue allows you to eat with complete peace of mind. The food was also very good, the kind of home-cooked food that never disappoints and that makes these traditional establishments so special. The service was also perfect, with all kinds of explanations about the protocols and how to proceed when asked. Recommended for everyone, and especially for those with celiac disease visiting Teruel.

Two different names, two terraces and two restaurants next to each other, but the exact same extensive menu and the same staff serving. This conveys improvisation and a lack of gastronomic identity. With only eight tables occupied out of a total of fourteen, the waiter seemed more interested in chatting with familiar guests than serving new guests. For more than ten minutes, he watched us without approaching us, and I finally had to go to the bar to order directly. Inside, the situation was even more worrying: a green fly was trapped in the protective film of some tapas. When I reported it, the bartender reacted with a vulgar comment instead of apologizing professionally. He took the tray away, but when I returned later to pay, the same tray was back again, as if nothing had happened. A gesture that denotes carelessness and a complete lack of seriousness and hygiene in food handling. I don't even want to think about what might happen in the kitchen. The order handling at the bar was equally poor. The waiter, instead of taking careful note, blurted out a disconcerting "but I don't know which table you're at..." A response unbecoming of someone who works with the public. As for the food, the quality was poor and inconsistent: Meatballs: cold inside, although the sauce was acceptable. Potato stuffed with meat: tasteless, FRIDGE COLD, and flavorless. Patatas bravas: decent in base, ruined by too much ketchup and industrial mayonnaise. Ham croquettes: two cold, two burnt; none remarkable. Positive points: the Estrella Galicia was served very cold and the bread, for which, surprisingly, they didn't charge. On the other hand, some service details were borderline unacceptable: a super unfriendly waiter who wouldn't look you in the eye and acted like a Swede whenever he could; a broken glass was handed out for the beer, a large bottle of water, and two glasses that never arrived; and, WORST OF ALL, the use of the same cloth to wipe down the tables and the entrance floor. TOTALLY DISGUSTING!!! This last gesture perfectly sums up the poor level of hygiene and total lack of professionalism observed. In short, both in terms of food and customer service, the experience was poor. The lack of interest, disorganization, and poor training in basic hospitality protocols leave both establishments—Pepe and Flor de Sal—far from what a tourist expects in a city as charming as Teruel. I firmly conclude: an experience not to be repeated. Except for a cold beer straight from the bottle, nothing more.

We asked for water for the dog, and he scolded us, saying he can't touch the water fountain with his hands because now he has to wash his hands... as if that were something really hard. He gave us the menu and expected us to respond immediately without thinking twice. He was also annoyed that we didn't tell him right away. What a shame about this place... Without a doubt, what bothered me the most was the disdain for giving water to animals... I won't be back. The food was neither good nor bad. We ordered a menu, potatoes Riojana style, which was potatoes with chorizo, and that was it. The turkey fillet (with a scabies flavor) was pathetic... And fried cheese. It was good, but you can make it at home... Plus, it seems like they heated it in the microwave... A disappointment... thank goodness not all places are like this. Once inside, I love that as you walk in, you have about two tables and the bar, and in another part, the lounge (it's small, hence the nickname ☺️), and if you go in winter, you appreciate the warmth and the ice-cold beer, believe me. About the food, I can only say that everything is delicious. The owner is the one who serves you, and he's very pleasant and attentive. Last time there was a large table for a company lunch, and I could hear how much they enjoyed eating there; so if "regulars" who normally eat there decide to have their Christmas lunch... there must be a reason! Just cross the bridge and you'll find it. There's more life, bars, and delicious food than you'd find in any city center 💗 (Original) Siempre que viajo a Teruel es parada obligatoria comer un día aquí de menú. El Figón de Teruel is a cozy restaurant with a small outdoor terrace where you can watch sports on TV. Inside, there's space for about 30 people. The food is delicious, with impressive empanadas and torreznos, and the lamb chops are tasty without any smell. The menu offers good value for money and generous portions. The friendly service adds to the enjoyable experience, although it would be better if smoking was banned in the eating area.

The pickled rabbit is good, acceptable. The coffee, I ordered a single short and I received a pot of coffee.

(Translated by Google) The experience was quite bad for several reasons. First, the price: we went for lunch as a family of four and only wanted one dish each, so they forced us to pay for the half-meal, which cost €15. To give you an idea, my mother was charged €15 for simply ordering a salad. Second, the half-meal they forced us to order didn't include the Coca-Colas we ordered, so despite having paid for the half-meal, they didn't include the drink. Third, they got the dessert wrong. We had clearly ordered three custards, and they brought us three curds. In short, a very expensive place, terrible service, and average food.

Las Mañicas is a cozy restaurant in Teruel that offers a variety of gluten-free tapas and sandwiches. The staff is attentive and takes care to prevent cross-contamination for those with celiac disease. Visitors can enjoy dishes like the La Manica hamburger, which comes with a surprising twist of being served without a traditional bun but still delicious. Other menu highlights include the sausage sandwich with natural tomato and homemade aioli-topped patatas bravas.

(Translated by Google) Local in the center of Teruel with tapas and sandwich options at a good price The quantities are good and the quality is more normal. Highlight the waitress who served us who was very friendly In our case we choose: -Patatas bravas (€5.5): good flavor of the potatoes with an aioli-type sauce on top, although they were not very crispy -Free-range hamburger (€7): bread that they normally use as ciabatta, this time it was more normal and soft, not toasted. Normal ingredients without excessive flavor -Cuttlefish tapa (€14): although it is on the menu, the €7 sandwich option is not available but they do have it in a tapa with some bread for double the price. The taste was good In general terms, a good option if you are looking for a normal sandwich for dinner in terms of quality and quantity for €10 with a drink (Original) Local en el centro de Teruel con opciones de tapas y bocadillos a buen precio Las cantidades están bien y la calidad es más normal. McDonald's, an iconic and well-established fast-food franchise recognized for its hamburgers and French fries, has a long-standing presence in the industry. Over the years, this renowned and enduring eatery has gained popularity worldwide. It is distinguished by its extensive history of operation as well as its reputation for serving delectable sandwiches and deep-fried potato sticks. With numerous branches found globally, McDonald's has become synonymous with fast food, showcasing their ability to deliver consistent quality meals promptly.
McDonalds is McDonalds. I am not a fan, but fastfood just 2min outside Dinopolis is super convenient. And kids just love those little boxes and the toy even more than the food. After a long day with the kids going around all the attractions and shows in the park, the drive through and the nearby children's park with tables were a great place to feed the family before getting into the car and hit the road.

There is no option on ordering for lettuce. The Burgers we're cold, as were the chips, although strangely we had just seen the girl tip them from the fryer into the holding tray! Not a good experience. Burger King knocks spots off MacDonald's
Myra W — Google review
If I could give this McDonald’s no stars I would. It is a shame to have to write this review because I have visited many McDonald’s and never have I experience service and food like this one. I was told I have to use the automatic machine which did not accept my credit card I offered for “eaten” rather than the takeaway service. I was told I would have to use my card at the counter after several attempts. Once I paid I took a seat at the table after a little while I’ve not receiving any food. I went up to enquire. I try your food was sitting on the side. The chips were freezing cold, so I checked the burger which was also cold, the staff told me it was my problem because I did not come and collect my food even though I selected tableservice at no time did anybody call me or notify me notify me that my meal was ready. The girl who served me it was very inexperience, just laughed and said it was my problem. Eventually the manager came who said that I would have to take the cold food or she will call the police. I welcomed her to call the police as it is against food regulation/restaurant to serve stone cold food. After several attempts to negotiate with the manager for the food to be re-cooked or a refund. She then open the till And slap the money on the counter, the girls behind the counter were laughing. This was a very unpleasant experience and it’s a shame that this restaurant is bringing McDonald’s name to Shane. Avoid at all costs

It would appear they now force you to use the automated ordering boards and just completely ignore you at the normal tills. The system wouldn't accept my card so left with nothing

This is a small drive thru branch of the chain. It's situated in a small retail park with a large supermarket and sports store. It was extremely busy being lunchtime during Easter holidays. There is limited seating indoors and some outdoors. There is free parking. The facilities were not as clean as they ought to be.

Very busy so when you enter the main dining room there is a lot of noise, once there you kind of get used to it. We had a second dish left over that they put in a tupperware to take away. (Translated by Google) We went for dinner as a family and were very pleasantly surprised in every aspect. Both waiters, Bizen and Zumaia, provided excellent service and were very friendly. The portions of fried nose and ear were really good, crunchy and meaty at the same time, and the sandwiches, you couldn't ask for more. You can choose between half a sandwich, for about 2.50 or 3.50 euros, or a whole sandwich between 4.50 and 5.50 euros. When they took out the medium ones, we thought that those were the whole ones because of their size (the one in the photo you see was medium). I ordered a whole calamari sandwich and I almost couldn't finish it, and I consider myself a good eater. It is located in a university area, and I imagine that is the reason for its prices, but that does not mean that it diminishes its quality in raw materials. Everything we ordered was very good. It is true that the bread, which was tender and crunchy, had a lot of crumbs, but it did not detract from the interior content either, the sandwiches were good, very stuffed. The desserts, the few that we could handle, were also very good.

On the wall outside, there's a sign with all the sandwiches and tapas, which you won't be able to eat because they don't serve them (???). They only offer a menu (which is posted on a sheet of paper that's barely visible), and you have to go inside. Since I was on my bike, I couldn't get in, so I had to go somewhere else. It's a shame, because, judging by other comments, I'm convinced that the food should be good; but I'll assess my experience, and it was a negative one. The dining room atmosphere was very good and quiet. One thing to keep in mind is that you only have a set menu option, not a full menu. If you want to eat anything other than the menu, you have to eat in the entrance hall, where the atmosphere is a bit more lively. The food was very good overall, although some minor improvements could be made. The prices are quite affordable.
