Nestled in the charming town of Benicassim, La Pimienta Rosa is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Spanish cuisine. This delightful eatery specializes in paella, serving it fresh from the pan to ensure every bite bursts with flavor. Open exclusively for lunch, guests can indulge in an affordable set menu that includes two delectable tapas before diving into their signature dish. Very good place for lunch! They have a menu del día with 3 entrees, main course (paella for us), and dessert. Buenísimo 😋
Ray G — Google review
Recommended the 19.96 menu with paella, salad, boquerones and ensaladilla Rusa. Great price and delicious paella. You should call and reserve and choose which paella you will order.

Everything, from appetizers to main dish to dessert, was extremely good, especially the arroz al senyoret, chef’s kiss! 🫶🏻 can only recommend!

(Translated by Google) I booked a meal at this restaurant as I saw a recommendation on TikTok, to be honest... It's much better than I expected, the service was very good, the rice was spectacular, it had a very good flavour and the anchovies along with the salad were delicious. As for the atmosphere, it was all very quiet but there were a lot of flies as is normal, but they put a device on us to scare them away so restaurant 1 flies 0. I recommend stopping by here if you are in Benicassim.

(Translated by Google) A great place to eat delicious rice dishes. We chose the rice with lobster menu. Spectacular. The garlic shrimp are also highly recommended. We would definitely return. Espectacular. Las gambas al ajillo muy recomendables también. Volveríamos sin dudarlo.

(Translated by Google) We had the pleasure of lunch at La Pimienta Rosa, a restaurant located in Benicassim known for its carefully prepared cuisine and welcoming atmosphere. This time, we opted for the 22-euro special menu, which included a fresh salad, calamari, and a mixed paella that deserves a special mention. The salad was presented with fresh ingredients and perfectly seasoned, making it an ideal starter. The calamari, meanwhile, arrived lightly fried, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, demonstrating precise execution. However, the true star of the menu was the mixed paella: perfectly cooked rice, with a remarkable balance of flavors between meat and seafood, and a savory base that demonstrates the care taken in its preparation. Without a doubt, a spectacular paella. The service was attentive and professional throughout, contributing to a very satisfying dining experience. In short, La Pimienta Rosa is an excellent option in Benicassim for those seeking well-prepared Mediterranean cuisine at a reasonable price. We returned to Pimienta Rosa in Benicàssim and had a very positive experience. We ordered a mixed paella and lobster rice, both very tasty and well prepared. For starters, the menu included anchovies and garlic shrimp, which were truly spectacular. The total price for four people was €129. As a side note, the lobster rice (€32) seemed a bit steep, even though it was very good. Drinks are not included. Overall, a recommended place to enjoy good rice in the area.

The wine list is not very extensive, although it is sufficient and has good wines. The service is very good: good attention and speed. Excellent market cuisine with a good quality-price ratio. Highly recommended. (Original) Un restaurante acogedor y tranquilo. BEST PLACE TO EAT PAELLA/ARROZ VALENCIANO IN BENICASSIM! I looooved this place! Maybe I’m not objective ‘cause I always eat here once in a year but they cook the rice very very good. Call them and book a table if you want to visit them in a weekend. We also ordered mussels this day and they were cooked pretty good as well.
SML13 ( — Google review
Best restaurant in town! Very reasonably priced. Where the locals go.
SpringtimeReturns D — Google review
Paella is nothing special. You can get better ones in Valencia. Important to know: in this restaurant there two prices: one for the residents and another one for the tourists. Ex. Mid July: two coffeea 2.40 euro with a Spanish friend. The day after as it clearly appears My wife and I were not resident, the same 2 coffees 3.- euro. There are better restaurants and coffee bars in the Pueblo. Just avoid those close to the beach
Bernard L — Google review
The paella was served cold, the waiter said it was because we order one dish before and was waiting to serve as second dish. Not sense at all. Also we call to reserve the table and he told us to order by phone. Once in the restaurant we realized there was menu at 20€ incluido paella. But ours cost 26€ out of menu without desert and drinks. Y como esposa

The menu boasts a variety of delectable dishes, showcasing quality ingredients and flavors that are sure to please any palate. Cost about 25-30 euros per person. We were 5. Ambient is great. Food is amazing, the rations are quite huge, you might feel like you’ve overeaten. The lady who served us was quite nice.
Ruby S — Google review
La Manduca is conveniently located on the main road and boasts a lovely ambiance, enhanced by its appealing interior design. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The food was excellently prepared, with a focus on freshness and flavor. I was particularly impressed by the selection of local dishes. The service was friendly and attentive, and we felt at ease. It's a great restaurant for a relaxed meal in Benicàssim. I would be happy to return.

I was up for pasta since a few days and quite happy to see an Italian restaurant with explicitly vegan options, so I got in to eat. The first dish I wanted to take wasn't available so I took the soup to have some warm vitamins, but got heavily disappointed - it tasted like instant soup with way too much starch 😔 the vegan Bolognese wasn't much better - it was super sweet and I wondered if it's prepared traditionally cause it was just sweet tomato sauce with some seitan pieces - no sight of carrots, onions, celery etc. But at least the pasta was cooked on the point. I'm wondering if the owners themselves enjoy this dish 😕 The waiters were attentive and kind except one lady that seemed so annoyed (and from her voice and way she talked to other clients I think she was) that you barely dared to ask any questions. Very sad 😢 I appreciate that they offer vegan options, but have a lot of room for improvement.

English menu available via QR. Great choice of delicious food.
Barbara C — Google review
The food is average however the real problem with this restaurant is the service. Table of four, 2 main meals come out, 10 minutes later the third and 5 minutes after this the fourth. The restaurant was not even a quarter full and no apology was given. Avoid in my opinion, after all there is many to choose in the area.
Peter T — Google review
I have dined here for many years on every visit to Benicassim. The food and service is always excellent. I have eaten here twice this week and have been welcomed greatly, especially by Sara she is a great worker and a credit to the team at La Manduca
John L — Google review
Good quality-price relation. Many options to choose and good food quality. Watch out with ordering too many things as the quantity served is pretty big and you may end up having to ask for take-away. 2 terraces nicely situated, one on the main street (fenced) and one on a pederastian street. Pretty good overall.
Dragomir Y — Google review
Food was tasy but sadly pizza ingridients were different than the ones written in the menu and we wait almost 1 hour for the coffee. I would not recommend to try the new vegano dishes lile boloñesa or vegetable wok very simple and just not good. After a while come back and tried paella with vegan chicken but was really bad even compare with a vegetarian paella from other places so I do not recommend it either.

Very nice restaurant in Benicassim! On the edge of the city center is this little hidden gem. Personal attention, lovely menu and very good wine selection. Love the atmosphere and authenticity. Recommend the fresh fish of the day and the sollomilo. Would come again! 🙏👌🏼😎

Delicious! Our meal here was amazing and the service was second to none. We shared the truffle and chicken croquettes followed by the shrimp, chips and egg. We then had the mushroom and truffle ravioli and the rabbit chops. Everything was well presented and tasted fantastic! Worth booking in advance as it was busy (even for a sunday). We did not make a reservation however the staff kindly made every possible effort to accommodate us. We sat outside which was lovely and a great atmosphere! The prices were a little higher than average but it was reflected well in the food. Highly recommend this place.
Holly — Google review
We booked a reservation online, but could not see much on the menu. When we arrived the staff were very impatient to take our order but on the menu appeared to just be standard tapas for astronomical prices and tiny portions based on what we could see others eating. In the end knowing we came with an appetite we chose to just have our drinks (which they charged us $2.70 for tap water) along with nightclub prices for a glass of house wine. Once the bill came the owner was very rude to my wife saying as soon as the payment went through now’s a good time to leave. Looking now at other reviews it’s clear we made the right choice and not an experience for us to then pay hundreds of euros just to be left hungry, dissatisfied and treated poorly.
Adam K — Google review
Flavoursome and attractively presented food in pleasant surroundings. We arrived without a reservation on a Friday night and (I suspect) they were fully booked but found us a table nonetheless. The staff were extremely helpful even though my Spanish is virtually non-existent. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and the overall experience was very good. I had cod tempura and my wife monkfish, prawns and cuttlefish tagliatelle - all delicious. Highly recommended.
Radar L — Google review
Context: a few visits in a 12 month time span. Pros: Excellent food quality and timing between dishes. Many special dishes, mostly based on fresh seafood. Decent Spanish wine selection, albeit not much info in the menu. Good atmosphere. Save some room for the desserts. Cons: not many changes in the menu. Too reliant on the special dishes, repetitive and at undisclosed prices. If you feel like having some water your only option is filtered tap water, awful taste at a quality mineral water price tag. Locals very obviously enjoy better treatment. Three different environments: exterior table surrounded by heavy smokers (many locals do smoke), lower floor with fans but not AC, and upper floor with AC but terrible noisy acoustic, too much reverb. Advice for the management: develop a tasting menu with a solid pairing. Don't just focus on the locals. Summary: ciento 2 is one of the must visit restaurants in town, way above the average around but keep in mind some of the issues not present at other restaurants at the same price tag on larger cities.

The service was completely disappointing. We waited 25 min for the bread We ordered meat and they even asked the degree of cooking of the meat. He didnt even make us taste the wine he just served it. The waiter didnt even come to check on us. The food was not bad but for the type of restaurant we were very disappointed.

To say that this is a fabulous restaurant would be an understatement. We sat on a beautiful terrace overlooking the Mediterranean and the beautiful seaside resort of Benicassim. The food was absolutely outstanding. We had three different hors d'ouvres plus a main course, dessert and coffee plus an abundance of beer and wine. The service was excellent. There were fourteen of us and we were very well looked after. Definitely worth a visit.

We were a party of 10 and sat on the "grass" area. Not only the view was breathtaking, but the food was simply SPECTACULAR!! We ordered the menu (since we were a big party) and it didn't disappoint. I couldn't tell which dish of all I enjoyed the most. The quantities were good for such a big party (in fact, we could barely handle the dessert!) and the quality of the food was really, really good; not to mention the gourmet preparation and presentation of the dishes. The service was also very good and the servers were very nice. I highly recommend Club Palasiet if you happen to visit Benicassim, you will not regret it.

We were recommended this restaurant by local colleagues and it did not disappoint. It was busy but they made space for us. This is a Spanish town but our servers spoke to us with excellent English and seemed to appreciate our terrible Spanish attempts! They also provided a menu in English. Value for money was excellent. Two people, a bottle of cava, sparkling water, 4 tapas dishes and 2 desserts came to around £60. The food was exceptional. The langoustines were incredibly fresh and the patatas bravas were my favourite so far. Our servers were so kind. Free digestifs, helping us with ordering and booking us a taxi. I can't wait to come back!

If you're looking to spice up your culinary journey in Benicasim, Umami is a must-visit destination. This delightful Japanese restaurant offers a refreshing break from the traditional tapas and paella that dominate the region's dining scene. With an emphasis on fresh seafood and seasonal ingredients, Umami serves up an array of tantalizing dishes. Start with their exquisite tartare or gyoza before diving into a selection of sushi that will transport your taste buds straight to Japan.
If you come here, you should try this restaurant. We have travelled a lot (including to Japan) but this was some of the best Japanese food we've ever had. The octopus fritters are not to be missed!

The place has a very nice atmosphere and pretty decor. We got takoyaki and 2x ramen (total €34). Takoyaki was absolutely delicious. Ramen was good but is not their signature dish. The service was very good. I am looking forwards to eating there again when I am not craving ramen and try the other dishes.

I get food from Umami about 2x per month, whether dining in or takeaway. I am absolutely addicted. The food is always incredible, fresh and creative, and the service is so friendly and helpful. They know me by name, and I don't even have to order any more! But whenever I bring friends, they are kind, and thoughtful about allergies and preferences. My personal favorites: Tartar de Atún, Futomaki Cangrejo Tempurizado, and the ultimate winner Uramaki Cangrejo al Gratín.

(Translated by Google) The reference Japanese restaurant in the area. One of the best in terms of quality (very high)/price ratio (consistent with the product). Divided into two areas, glazed interior and terrace. The atmosphere is very good, it is usually quiet, ideal for lunch or dinner as a couple or group of friends. The treatment of the staff has always been very good, close and their recommendations have always been a success. It is always a great choice and the people who have gone under our recommendation have been delighted. Totally recommended. (Translated by Google) I've visited this restaurant three times and have really enjoyed them every time. First of all, the atmosphere is very calm and has a very nice and unique decor. As for dinner, it's Japanese food (sushi), all very good and top-quality. The gyozas are very good, as is the bao. We also ordered a combo of various sushi pieces, and they were all delicious. On the other hand, regarding the price, I have to say that I think it's a bit pricey. I've been to several restaurants like this one and it's been €10 or even €20 less per person, and I've eaten the same amount or more, and it's also good quality. Finally, I'll mention the desserts I ordered. I don't like the mochis, but I think that's just a personal opinion because the dough is viscous and sticky, and I can't find any flavor in them. Likewise, the dorayaki is very small, the chocolate flavor is barely noticeable, and it's very expensive. The dessert I liked the most was the torrija, although the last time I went they told me they didn't have any... Overall, it's a pleasant and delicious place to try this type of food.

La Suculenta is a delightful culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. On New Year's Eve, even without a reservation, guests are welcomed warmly and treated to exquisite flavors. The chef's personal touch shines through dishes like the innovative Russian salad and standout options such as steak tartar on brioche bread and eggs with small prawns. The atmosphere transitions beautifully from quiet to lively as the evening progresses, making it perfect for any occasion.
Perfect place for lunch, dinner and any occasion! Absolutely amazing combination of flavours, each dish is rich, innovative and tasty! Loved it! Same chef as “Llavor” Restaurant. Both should be in your “must” list of places to eat in Benicasim and Castellon. I recommend the steak tartar in brioche bread and the eggs with small prawns. Make sure you have space for the Tiramisu!

An unexpected surprise! We arrived without reservation on the new year's eve, hoping to find something to drink and eat. When we arrived the special dinner was almost over and the kitchen was about to close, but they were kind enough to let us sit and have a drink. We asked if there is anything we can eat and the waiter went to check with the kitchen and soon enough the chef himself came over to our table and asked if we like Russian salad. I don't like it too much but we were willing to give it a try, and I'm glad we did! It was really good and not a "just traditional" russian salad. We ate it all along with the wonderful bread they served! The kind chef saw our poor faces and offered us a few things to eat and finally suggested a steak, which was so good! very flavored and tasty. So we didn't eat a lot but from starting with only drinks we had a wonderful surprise to be able to taste a couple of dishes. The chef and the staff were really nice and at the end of the evening gave us the traditional grapes you eat to celebrate the new year and also a bag of goodies to celebrate the new year. We wished we could come again but unfortunately we didn't have time. I'm sure next time we are in town we will go again! Thank you for allowing us in and for taking such a good care of us! Happy New Year!

We went to La Suculenta for my wife's birthday with my aunt and uncle who were visiting from out of town. I was amazed at how good the food was. We had Iberian Ham Croquettes and the Semi-Cured Sea Bass Sashima starters along with fresh bread, all were amazing. My wife, who is celiac, had the Matured Galician Pork Chop with Potatoes as did my aunt and uncle and I had the Roe Deer and it was incredibly delicious, I could not believe how good the Roe Deer was as I have never tasted a venison dish crafted as good as this one was. For dessert I had Creamy Egg Yolk Flan, the best flan I've ever had. Chef Lengua has a fantastic menu of incredible dishes that taste so good. We also had two bottles of wine to compliment the food. The dining room is quite elegant. Absolutely the best restaurant I've eaten at in Benicassim and surrounding areas. This is a Michelin Guide restaurant but it deserves a Michelin STAR!

One of my favorite spots in Benicàssim! The ambiance is lovely and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed dinner. The menu isn’t overly extensive, but it offers a well-curated variety of meat and seafood dishes, with generous portion sizes that make it great value for money. The ensaladilla is absolutely incredible. easily my personal favorite and reason enough to come back. And the tarta de queso… wow! Truly unforgettable. Service is top-notch - friendly, attentive, and professional. One small suggestion: the toilet door is often left open by guests, and if you’re seated nearby, it can be a bit unpleasant. It might help to place a polite sign reminding people to close it - or make a joke of it (“leave it open, and you pay everyone’s bill!”). All in all, a fantastic place that I’ll happily return to again and again!

We were on a trip to Spain from the US and a friend recommended we come here. It’s in the center of town, where all the restaurants open up for the night with outside dining and fill the square from 9pm onward. The proprietor was very accommodating and served us himself, recommending his favorite dishes on the menu. We had burrata al pesto con tomate, then taquitos de atun, and raviolis de secretos, all of which were amazing! We topped it off with churros and ice cream. I highly recommend if you visit Benicàssim.

(Translated by Google) I've been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, and it truly lived up to my expectations. We went for dinner on a random Wednesday, and despite the terrace being packed and the atmosphere buzzing, we managed to get a table without a reservation. The service was good and fast; we didn't have to wait for service to start or wait between courses. The atmosphere is very cool, as it's located in one of Benicassim's most famous squares, decorated with lights and a great atmosphere. We really liked the food. We decided to order everything to share in the middle, as we wanted to try several things and knew the portions would be generous. We ordered: - The burrata salad with Parmesan ice cream, which was spectacular, and the ice cream gave it a special touch. - The croquettes, which are a portion of 8, two of each type. They come with octopus, wakame, stew, and cuttlefish and shrimp. - The tuna, which was our favorite for us, even though everything was very, very good. As I said before, the portions are generous; we left feeling full after eating what we ordered. The price for all of this, plus two waters and a coffee, was €52.70 (€26.35 per person). The value for money is 10/10. I definitely recommend going, and we'll definitely be back.

It’s has a nice Mediterranean atmosphere and the staff is really polite but also very relaxed and chilled if you can say it like that. The food is very interesting as well as exotic. And the order style is also very fun. We were served by a waiter called Mateo, he was very polite and fun. All in all I can recommend the restaurant. The views of the beach are also beautiful. You can also keep on walking on the beach as it is immediately on the beach.

I highly recommend this place. The atmosphere is pleasant, and the food is very tasty. We had the daily menu, which included a starter, main course, and dessert, with several dish options to choose from. The price was €13.99. There is an extra charge for certain dishes, such as octopus — but it’s definitely worth it. The menu is available via QR code, with translations into several languages and pictures of the dishes. Special thanks to the staff — everything was quick, and they were friendly and kind.

The service is ok. They forgot to show us the menu. They didn't ask us about the food or anything else. Nice restaurant vibes, just next to the sea. The food is average and the portions are smaller than they look in the pictures they show in the menu.

This was sadly a very disappointing dinner experience. The placement and exterior was very nice! The service on the other hand was very poor, one server (lady) seemed to be upset and was rude. Other customers also experienced the same. There where a lot of costumers and stress, but to forget to clean up, cutlery, drinks AND the food isn’t acceptable. One of us didn’t get the food until 20 minutes later than the others on the table. The starters both looked and tasted very good. The main course and dessert wasn’t like the pictures at the menu all, and was the most disappointing part. The price on the other hand was fairly cheap, so maybe that’s explains the quality of the experience. Maybe we’ll come back in a year, I definitively think they have the potential to become a great place!

Pasticcio Benicàssim is a delightful culinary gem that captures the essence of authentic Italian dining. Guests rave about the warm and welcoming atmosphere, complemented by friendly staff who are fluent in English. The menu strikes a perfect balance—not too extensive yet offering something for everyone, from delicious pasta dishes to fresh salads. While some diners noted that certain dishes could use a bit more flavor, others were thrilled with standout items like the carpaccio de langostini and pistachio pesto pasta.
Nice place with inside and outside open space, good prices and delicious food. 💯 Recomendable.

After reading so many glowing reviews, we arrived with high expectations—but unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the hype. The photos looked fantastic, and the dishes were indeed freshly prepared, but the flavors just didn’t deliver. We appreciated the thin, crispy crust on the pizza, it had great texture. However, the toppings lacked taste. The flavor was dominated by onions, and there were very few salchichas, which left the overall experience flat and underwhelming. The carpaccio de langostinos was beautifully presented, but sadly drowned in olive oil, masking the delicate flavor of the seafood. While the service and presentation were good, and ingredients seemed fresh, the taste simply wasn’t memorable enough to make us want to return.

The first time we went here, we got told there was no space for us. But there were lots of tables. They told us to sit outside in a backjard that was cold and not very cosy. We left and ate somewhere else. Later, we drove past and saw that all the tables were still available. We decided to go back anyway because the food looked good. And it was. We had two very nice pizzas. My husband got served ice cold red wine but was offered another glass after mentioning it. Then it was nice. The restaurant was a bit cold, but then again, all restaurants in Spain seem to be cold... Would recommend. But be ready for weird things... perhaps the best is yo do a takeaway.

Mare Gastrobar Benicasim is a delightful and classic yet modern eatery offering well-presented cuisine. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff make for a pleasant dining experience. Dishes like grandma's potatoes, croquettes, octopus, and the signature sandwich called Sergi are highly recommended. While some items like bravas potatoes and breaded shrimp could be improved, the overall variety of dishes makes it worth revisiting to explore more of their menu.
Exceptional tapas restaurant! The flavours are delicious, and their attention to allergies, especially gluten-free options, is outstanding. The service is top-notch! A definite must-visit when you're in Benicasim.

Wonderful dining experience overall! The restaurant offers a relaxing atmosphere, attentive service and delicious food. While some dishes took time to reach the table, the wait was worth it as everything we tried was full of flavor and beautifully prepared. One thing to mention is that many options are not written on the menu — instead, the staff reads them at the table. Although thoughtful, the list can get quite long, and it’s easy to forget some of the options by the time they finish. As for the food - the cod, pulpo, and croquettes were absolutely outstanding! The carpaccio de gambas rojos felt overpriced for the portion size. Despite these small points, it was a fantastic dinner, and we’ll definitely be back to enjoy more of their wonderful dishes.

(Translated by Google) We had a very good and quiet dinner. The place is very cozy and the food was very good. They treated us well, although when people started arriving the service fell apart a little. At first they tell you about the off-menu dishes, we ordered the octopus. Everything was very good, but if I have to highlight something, I would highlight the torrija, and although they were good, I would not order the meatballs again. It was more expensive than the other reviews (without wine) since the octopus dish itself was already €28.

Exquisite service from the entire staff. Dishes are tastefully presented, highlighting the great flavor of the ingredients, a pleasure for the palate. As a downside, the restaurant isn't very large during peak season. I recommend booking. (Translated by Google) A beautiful restaurant surrounded by details, the service is very warm, friendly, and sincere. They don't try to force anything on you. The food is spectacular, the price/quality ratio is, in my opinion, affordable. Good products, well-executed dishes, and flavors that blend perfectly. Roasted chicken croquette: Large, creamy, and warm on the inside, with chunks of chicken, no béchamel sauce, and the crispy coating. You can tell there's technique involved, as the croquette, due to its size, comes out perfectly cooked. A very successful combination of flavors; the anchovy mayonnaise brings the whole thing together, a very fun bite to eat. Anchovy and smoked butter tortilla: Anchovies from Santoña, butter they smoke themselves, and crispy crystal bread. You can tell they slice the bread and bake it individually, as it comes out crispy on all sides. For me, the best bite of the meal. Seafood Salad: A traditional salad, it's the salad you'd expect, and it's worth what you expect. You can't ask for more from this summer classic. Turbot: For the main course, we chose a turbot to share, oven-roasted, with a garlic sauce, a chili pepper, and bound collagen. The cooked fish was cooked at €35 for a turbot, which could have easily fed three people as a main course after the appetizers. For dessert, we ordered the torrija, which is grilled without frying, without the excess oil and sugar characteristic of a classic torrija. We also tried the flan; it was just right, sweet, and the cream gives it a very pleasant smoothness.

This time we ordered: - Scallops: juicy and very well dressed - Tomato salad with tuna belly: super tasty tomato and tuna belly - Bread with butter and anchovy: SPECTACULAR, this dish is a delicacy. The butter is smoked by them and the anchovy is from Santoña. - Cheese croquette: very creamy - Iberian pluma: grilled and perfectly cooked with its delicious juice. - Cheesecake: creamy and perfectly flavored Highly recommended. (Translated by Google) Good for a quiet dinner as a couple and quality food. The garlic oil and tomato were delicious (you can tell they are homemade), the croquelanas highly recommended. The artichokes with foie were good but perhaps they tasted a bit like vinegar and the broken eggs were good (the ham was the best of the dish, perhaps I would have made the potatoes thinner, to give it a but). Advisable. Nestled in the charming town of Benicassim, Rebost de Roures is a culinary gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. Renowned for its spectacular rice dishes, particularly paella, this restaurant excels in delivering both quality and generous portions at reasonable prices. Guests rave about the delightful starters like tomato and belly salad, chicken croquettes, and calamari with tombet. The menu offers a well-curated selection that includes local specialties such as stewed lamb made from traditional recipes.
This is by far one of the best experiences we had in Spain. So good we returned two days in a row. It is a small, family run place and the host was super kind, full of recommendations and very helpfull. We had several starters and even got some complimentary food from the chef and everything was excellent. Our definite favourite dish by far was the Castello Paella, simply incredible, fusion of spices, great meat and veggies, perfectly cooked in a traditional way. Prices are decent and you get even more value than what you pay for. For dessert, their twist on carrot cake is a must. Will definitely return!

A must restaurant if you visit Benicassim. The owner and service are incredible; super caring and fast, and if there is any delay, they still manage to make you feel comfortable and remember anything you may have asked them. I want to tell Juanvi a great Gracias! As every year he makes our lunch experience a delight! Regarding the food, make yourself a favour and order the Menu, choose 3 starters along their Bread with Tomato, Oil and AliOli, followed by any rice, they are all amazing, but the best is the Arroz de Castellón! Will continue coming every time we are in Beni, because after trying few restaurants, this place is the one that truly values their customers and super tasty food!

They care a lot about cross contamination, having different fryers, separate place for the flour and several other measures. Also they have some of the local best products from our province, like borriolenca or canetera premium olive oils, or the Useres recipe for stewed lamb. Excellent place to come and know the local gastronomy

This is the best restaurant we have been to during our visit in Spain this summer. The food is superb and one can tell there is a lot of thought put into recipes, ingredients and dishes. The team are very passionate about their restaurant and best experience they can offer to their guests. We don't normally go to same restaurant twice but in this instance the food was so delicious and the owners were so welcoming that we reserved a table two nights in a row. Very good option if you're looking for good/natural mediterranean food. Great taste and good presentation. I adore this place and it’s a “must” every time I come to town. The cocktails are inventive but not overwrought. The food is delicious - it’s carefully prepared and the menus are good value. The servers are friendly and helpful but can get overwhelmed when it’s busy.

We picked this place because of the nice interior and because not many restaurants served lunch at that time in Benicassím (October, off season). The waiter was very kind and after informing us about the waiting time (about 60 min. for the paella) we ordered the food and took a walk until our order is ready. We returned on time, ordered water and coffees and our Paella de Castellón (paella with different kinds of meat) arrived. It looked good but there were not much meat in it and a part of the rice was hard unfortunately. We used to eat paella in Spain but this time we stayed hungry which never happened before. Our coffees were all right but we did not have the courage to order something else however. We left the place a little hungry and disappointed.

Well I just was walking along the beach and decided to seat here to have a brunch. They have a really calm and charming atmosphere plus seafood which I like so much. My favorite calamares frites and salad with something, both were delicious also a nice ice cream with cake and coffee we liked there. By the way they have covered tables in case of too sunny or rainy weather. And clean and nice toilet. Definitely not a cheap place.

We were recommended to come to Villa Sofia for their popular paellas, but honestly, the experience was really disappointing. First impressions were rough. They are clearly a very busy restaurant, but having customers stand outside in the hot sun for more than 10 minutes felt very unwelcoming. It is not like they did not see us either, one of the male staff actually told us to wait on the side and get out of their way while they dealt with other things. Once we finally got seated, the fresh appetisers of mixed salads were nice and refreshing, so that was a good start. But the hot food really let us down. The chicken was sad and lacked flavour, and the shrimp paella was so salty it was nearly inedible. Even with us being hungover and craving something savoury, it still managed to be way too salty for us to enjoy. The air conditioning inside was very weak and a few of us ended up fanning ourselves throughout the meal, which made lunch quite uncomfortable. And with the bill coming to around €30 per person, it really did not feel worth it at all. Overall, it was a disappointing meal and not one I would go back for, even though it came highly recommended.

Our go-to post-beach bar! The atmosphere is amazing and the place is very cozy. Notice that the bathrooms in the back are public (and very well maintained). A perfect place to have some cavas at sunset after a long day in the beach! All service is offered by very young and hardworking folk. They could take some time to attend you (or prioritise cleanup a desk instead of having your order) but that's perfectly fine for learners.

Poor treatment of customers. They refuse to cut the pizza for you because apparently, working in a restaurant means they can't be bothered, even though it's a basic service for the customer. And they have the nerve to tell you that if you look like you can cut pizzas yourself. The waiter taking pictures of me and laughing the whole time, since when do you have permission to take my picture? The waiter and waitress giving us disgusted and condescending looks... The older waiters treat us fine, but a waiter taking photos of customers is highly questionable. They serve pizzas during the Benicassim festival season.

When we have come to Benicassim in the past this is the one bar we always looked forward to coming back to. Not the cheapest place we have ever been to but the place had so much character and the wine never disappoints. However this year it appears that the staff must have gone on a special course on how not to smile and greet the customers. What a miserable lot they are which is a shame as it is still such a lovely place. Unfortunately we will not be going back here as there are so many other places where they appreciate our custom.

We felt right at home. They are masters of hospitality and food delicacy. Their food is so addictive that we had to come every night during our stay in the area.
Vanessa L — Google review
Very mediocre evening meal that was VERY poor value for money. The waitress was lovely but nothing can take away from a €90 bill for a forgettable meal which was absolutely smothered in olive oil. €40 for a sole (lenguado) to share which equated to about 3 spoonfuls of very oily fish, €15 for 8 prawns! €24 for a bottle of wine. My husband and I have agreed never to mention it again and put it down to experience ☹️

Rather nice restaurant for a lunch. Service was good, as was the food. Nice atmosphere and decor inside too.

Went to charquito a few times the last couple of years when visiting Spain. The service and quality of food keeps me coming back. This time around we went there for lunch and a few days later visited for dinner. As always the service was great. Helena made sure our lunch was a great experience. She was very helpful guiding us through their offerings. During our dinner visit the bar staff were very helpful and professional. We were offered to take a spot inside, by the bar. We were a bit hesitant but it was the right move. Outside was crowded and the weather very warm. Indoors was very pleasant as the AC kept things very nice and cool. The atmosphere was great. People were singing along to the Spanish music playing through the speakers. It was a party atmosphere, great for a warm Saturday night. Totally recommended. My favorite place in town.

Went it just for a beer and to recharge our phones and ended up having a fantastic experience. The staff were super friendly (accomodating to us being vegan and gluten free without any hassle). The beers were great and the burgers were banging (coming to less than €20 for 6 beers and 2 burgers!). Would definitely recommend and would definitely be back if we pass through the area again!

Such friendly service and delicious food. The owner really took time to understand me when I explained an ingredient substitution, and, as a vegan, this is always so reassuring. Moreover, the complementary nuts and olives were delicious. And, because we had to wait around 10 minutes (not even that long), we were given complementary fries. Amazing service, food, and coffee!

Great atmosphere! We had the Fish and really liked it. We saw someone having the tomato salad with tuna and if I was more hungry I would have ordered it too 😅😀🤗

Excellent restaurant! A refined, upscale atmosphere that’s also relaxed enough for the beach. The food is extremely flavorful, and the service is amazing. Absolutely every staff member is incredibly attentive. Although they have a rule that everyone at the table must order the same dish, this only applies to the rice dishes and in no way did it prevent us from having an unforgettable dining experience. The beach is extremely clean and family-friendly. Anyone who complained surely doesn’t know how to appreciate great places or is simply unfamiliar with Spanish customs.
Daniela C — Google review
A big misery. Stay away. I went there with the family and they forced us to eat the same thing. If you go in group you will have to eat the same food. Such a stupid place. Not worth the overpriced food just because they are on a dirty beach. Worst experience in Spain.
QUALITY E — Google review
Surprised how they have taken their standard down. Very small portions but standard prices for a beach restaurant. The table arrangement very poor, no table cloth, paper napkins, the table surface damaged….so poor for a 50eur seat beach restaurant. Indeed, sad.

Really inventive approach to tapas, we loved octopus, squid and canneloni. Desserts were a treat, too, although cheesecake sounded rather casual, it did exceed expectations. I was extremely disappointed with my experience in this establishment with Spanish cuisine. The shrimp served to me were raw, which is completely unacceptable. In addition, the seafood plate was significantly different from what is shown in the photo on the menu. The rice in the paella was dry and greasy, which made it unpleasant to eat. They also tried to slip us bread, which we had already refused twice. Sangria and lemon beer were so sweet that they made you feel sick. To top it all off, we asked for the bill four times and waited for it for over an hour. I strongly do not recommend this place.
Diana S — Google review
Just come back from the casa sergio. We ordered a pizza, pasta, beer, and a coke. He drops down some shrimp and demands us pay for it when bill came out. Terrible service the old man is a complete cro ok to tourists. DO NOT GO HERE as this is a tourist trap. READ ALL REVIEWS AND DO NOT GO HERE.
K R — Google review
IF YOU DONT KNOW SPANISH DO NOT GO HERE!!! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!! Pre warning. We went to Casa Sergio for dinner on the boardwalk on Benicassim. We ordered our meal, with the English menus. So they knew we didn't speak Spanish. Then this older man (possibly owner) came walking around showing off his fresh caught prawns. He looked at me and I said very nice. Then all of a sudden we had 2 pickle seafood spear things at our table. They were small so we thought okay maybe like a bread/nuts offering. Then all of a sudden he brings out 16 prawns and puts them on our table. We said we didn't order these. He says something is Spanish and smiles. So we thought okay maybe end of night has to get rid of them. Im allergic to them so I cant eat them. Then we get our bill and there is 2 pickle things, 2 whiskey and a 35 euro misc charge. We asked and they take bill back and take off the whiskey. We then say we didn't order these. Well we got a translator to come and basically he said too bad we have to pay for it. So cautionary tale. If you dont know Spanish be careful going there.
Janine R — Google review
Was made really uncomfortable with the language barrier and the waiter slammed him note book and pen down on the table. They didn't grasp the concept of us sharing our starter. After placing an order for a starter and 2 pizzas we had cold soup brought out each. Refused the dish. Waiters were on their phones while standing around. Very rude and ignorant.
Sharon R — Google review
Food was amazing and Sergio was a delight. The portions are huge so we had leftovers for home. Had the rice with seafood for 2 people and it was very good. The desserts were made in house and were moist and delicious, especially the carrot cake! Pleasant view of the sea while you're eating as well.
Nznae — Google review
We arrived for a breakfast. The place is not accessible with baby stroller. You cant see the bollerias, so we asked to before ordering and they had only butter ones which where burned. Then they suggested cakes, again we asked to see it before ordering. There is a fridge outside with lots of boxes. Each box contains a cake. Not a new one sinceall were in half more or less. We left. Honestly the restaurants in Benicàssim gave a very bad impression.
Eran B — Google review
Went here as it was the only place open for food. The food was ok, but €10 was added to bill for add ons I didn’t ask for, very disappointing. Bill came to €26 for a lasagna and coke

Olivia Benicàssim is an elegant establishment with a terrace offering creative seafood and meat dishes, including paella and desserts. The attentive servers, Karima and Koraima, were exceptional in assisting non-Spanish speakers. The menu boasted a variety of delectable items that made it difficult to choose just one. However, the Galician beef tenderloin stood out with its perfectly cooked preparation. Equally enjoyable were the shrimp taco and the dessert named "avocado.
I was served by Karima and Koraima, they were both so spectacular and helped me a lot because my Spanish is not very good! Everything was delicious, I had a beautiful time. I wish I could stay and try everything! But I did have the Galician beef tenderloin, the shrimp taco, and the "avocado" for dessert. I really liked the taco and the avocado, and the tenderloin was cooked perfectly as Karima took great care in deciphering how I wanted it. I was very happy with everything that I had and everyone I spoke to was so welcoming and made me feel very happy to be there! Thank you again for your excellent service and hospitality, I will be back again for sure if I ever return to Benicassim.

We visited as a table of 4 adults & 3 children out of season and had wonderful service and delicious food. As we were finishing our evening a very bad rain storm hit and we were looked after very kindly and the owners went to great effort to find us a taxi to get the children home safe. Also the only place we found that serves Guinness! Highly recommended.

Nuun Club Restaurant is a delightful beachside gem that offers an inviting atmosphere and exceptional service. Guests rave about the friendly staff, particularly Christina and Franyi, who provide attentive and knowledgeable assistance with menu selections. The culinary offerings are impressive, featuring standout dishes like the Wuayu burgers and gluten-free tempura options that cater to various dietary needs. While most diners enjoy their meals thoroughly, some have noted that desserts could use improvement.

(Translated by Google) A very chic beach place. The Wuayu burgers were excellent, the tempura was adapted for us so that my sister who cannot eat gluten could have it (10/10 the service) and not miss the fake horchata tiramisu, amazing. I repeat that the service is excellent, close and friendly. They recommended several wines to us and we had “speak of you” what an excellent husband with the tempura. Super recommended! (Translated by Google) In general, we ate well although there are dishes that go unnoticed (I want to make special positive mention of the Nuun Potatoes, the organic vegetable tempura and the Squid with fake black rissotto, they are a delight!). The place is very nice. We thought the service could be quite improved (they left us at the end without offering us coffee or bringing us the bill for more than half an hour). There are important details to take care of so that you feel like recommending or returning. (Translated by Google) I had a bitter experience at this place. It took an hour to be served, and the dishes left much to be desired. A mango salad with a conspicuous absence of mango and a badly dressed salad. A supposedly 250-gram entrecote that didn't meet the mark and was as tough as a goat's knee. A mango sangria that had no alcohol and tasted like watered-down peach juice. In short, a place with a great image and little know-how. Incidentally, there were people smoking inside, which I believe is prohibited.

It's a great place for lunch or a snack. The portions are big, the food is good and the prices are much better than others in the area. Our waiter, Aurel, was absolutely great, very attentive, fast and helpful, although he had so many tables. We've had puntillas, pan tomate y alioli, octopus and some tapas. We drank sangria and tinto de verano and we were right next to the beach. We went there 3 times in one week and will definitely go again in our next Spain vacation.

(Translated by Google) Three tables were occupied on the terrace and they took their time taking out the dishes. The waiter was very attentive and the dishes were half perfect. In one case due to the quantity of fritters and in another due to the absence of foie. They say the portions are for four. In the case of the cuttlefish portion with foie and artichokes, we could not find the foie and I estimate that it could be an adequate portion for three people. The half portion has an increase of 2 euros and in the case of the cod they gave us 3 fritters from which I deduce that 4 people would have 6 fritters. But... what less than two buñuelos each! Anyway... In its favor, the buñuelo is not an indefinite mass. It consists of real cod coated with a cream inside. Outside it has a sauce with a slight aftertaste of paprika. Good quality/price ratio. The gnocchi were excellent, and the sauce was great too. The staff was very friendly and cheerful. Unfortunately, the pizza was just average for me. The sauce was quite sweet, and despite being topped with bacon, it wasn't very flavorful. Nonetheless, it wasn't bad. For dessert, we had tiramisu and a lemon cake, both of which were good. I orders three things; patata bravas, chipirones fritos and pizza vegetables. The patata was full aioli. But this is normal for the dish. The pizza was too wet and sloppy. I think the quality was low because of the fact that the place was full of people. I hope next time a better experience!

The only positive thing about this bar is the location on the beach. We live here & stopped for a drink after shopping in Castellon all day before Christmas......we asked for 2 coffees & 2 beers.......the beers were 'reserve's which are a speciality beer & expensive. So I imagine he thought he could get rid of of his Summer stock at 3 EUROS a bottle. I complained but he charged me for the more expensive bottle although he exchanged it for a 'normal' beer........wide birth is my advise.........total tourist RIP off.......but we weren't tourists.

(Translated by Google) Very well decorated place. Just by seeing the facade you realize that they take care of every last detail. The service could not be better, the two waitresses were very attentive and helpful, they advised us at all times and were always very friendly. The dishes are of very good quality and good presentation, although not very abundant but sufficient. Congratulations on the restaurant in the center of Benicassim. (Translated by Google) Yesterday we had dinner at ¡Ay, Carmela! Place that had been recommended to us and we really wanted to visit 😊. Very friendly treatment, pleasant surroundings (terrace) and exquisite food, with very elaborate and high-quality dishes. We ask: - Peking pati bao bread (our favorite, without a doubt 🤤) - Octopus croquette 🐙 - Patacón (fried plantain, shredded meat and guacamole base) 🥑 - Secret and foie toast -And for dessert...cheesecake🍰! With a different flavor than usual, because it is blue cheese 🧀 Highly highly recommended, we will definitely return 😍 (Original) ¡Ayer cenamos en ¡Ay, Carmela! (Translated by Google) We went for dinner and the service was very friendly, fast and attentive. The starters we ordered were scallops, duck bao, salmon tiradito and salad. Very good! The only complaint and reason for the low score is the main dish. We ordered beef rib and it came cold and poorly cooked. The fat was still white and undissolved and the meat was cold and had a not very pleasant flavor. This main dish is the highlight of the dinner, they should take more care of it because it completely changes the experience. A shame!

(Translated by Google) First visit to the restaurant. Fusion proposal with touches of Mediterranean cuisine. A different and very appetizing letter. I really liked the bao and the octopus croquette. The Lima sweet potato cause hasn't been very cool to me, I've missed a more acidic and more traditional touch. The scallops seemed very average to me (simply evaluating the product). I'll have to see how it goes again. The service is very friendly but somewhat confused. Price quality a bit excessive in my opinion. But I will return.

(Translated by Google) A very pretty and pleasant place with outdoor tables on a pedestrian street, perfect for spring and summer evenings. The service is very friendly and fast. The food was excellent. We ordered the duck bao, salmon tartar, and ceviche. The only downside was the ceviche marinade, which was a bit too intense for our taste. In short, we'll be back to try more dishes.

Nestled in a stunning location, Palasiet Wellness Clinic & Thalasso offers an upscale experience with breathtaking bay views and exquisite dining options. The hotel boasts a beautifully designed interior reminiscent of a palace, creating cozy spaces perfect for sipping coffee or diving into a good book. Guests can enjoy spacious rooms equipped with balconies that provide charming vistas, along with thoughtful amenities like bathrobes and complimentary water. The outdoor pools invite relaxation, while the on-site spa and wellness center cater to those seeking rejuvenation.
This hotel is very beautiful in a palace inspired interior design, its spaces so cozy and comfortable even to drink coffee and read a book. We got a large clean room with a balcony and charming view, two bathrobes, water, cattle and cups. They have even a swimming pool, which looks nice. The restaurant inside the hotel of course also beautifully decorated and they serve a nice breakfast there. Somewhere hotel looks and smells like it's outdated, but nothing in my room. They don't have a direct exit to the beach but located close enough to get there on foot for 5 minutes.

This thalasso spa is one of my favorite places in this region. The salt water baths are really great value vs. price.

I was actually dissapointed, everything was going nice and then I had an incident with one of the umbrellas in the pool terrace. It hit hard my knee because it wasn't well secured. The staff brought me some ice and then sent me to the on-site doctor. When we did our checkout no apology for the indicent whatsoever. It could have turned out horrible and they didn't even acknowledge it. A courtesy would have been nice. Definitely not coming back.

Horrible place for a wedding. No parking for your guests who are left looking for street parking on a dusty hill. Female supervisor was absolutely rude and hung up the phone on me when I asked about parking. Truly a horrendous experience.

Pleasant hotel in lovely surroundings near beach and promenade. Helpful staff. TERRRRRIBLE FOOD. The cook specializes in making leftovers from the previous day and serving them up as something else. Unforgivable.

Old fashion interior, very nice view. But, there is no bar later than 10p.m., no slippers, no food boxes for early departure, it's very nice and comfortable for aged people

Absolutely delightful experience! The food is delicious, the owners are incredibly welcoming, and the views from the restaurant are simply beautiful. Highly recommend for a truly enjoyable dining experience

We arrived (2 persons) at lunch time and were welcomed to a large charming empty restaurant by a very friendly French woman who put us at ease very quickly. The views were amazing from our table and the service and food was first class. We had an Entrana steak which we often have as a favourite in a local South American restaurant we use and this was amazingly tender and a new experience cooked in butter. The whole experience was first rate and we will remember for a long time.

A fantastic restaurant with staff that really put a smile on your face (especially when compared to the locals who don't know how to smile). English, French and Spanish speaking, they really can't do enough to help! They were extremely hospitable, served the best food in the area (easily!), great beer and then gave us great advise to continue our walk back to Grao (of Castellon). The views are spectacular and you feel right at home. We could have sat there drinking beer and chatting with the owners all afternoon!

If you're on the hunt for a culinary gem, look no further than Restaurante del Bierzo y Galicia. This charming eatery is renowned for its exceptional seafood, particularly the octopus that has garnered quite a reputation among locals and visitors alike. Diners rave about the generous portions, with dishes like fillet steak and grilled razor clams making a lasting impression. While some may find parking a bit tricky, the delightful flavors and warm service more than make up for it.
I had an excellent fillet steak here and my wife had the octopus for which the place is rightly famous. Both were top quality. One note of caution-if you have the fillet steak don't have a big starter as the steak is enormous! House red wine is also great

We went to a restaurant, and it was a really bad experience. The woman who was taking the orders had a very rude attitude. She was shouting, and no one in the restaurant could even speak English. In the end, they brought me the wrong order. The dish smelled really bad and made me feel sick, even though I had ordered something completely different.

Stay away from this place. We went in for two half lagers and we're charged 6 euros! That's more expensive than Germany! They also tried to force feed us some "free" mussels that we didn't ask for, I would have hated to pay for these as well. And whilst my partner opened her wallet the waitress was having a deep dive look into the contents of the wallet.. I will try to keep this constructive. Whilst everyone is free to charge what they like, this place is geared towards tourists, and tourist salaries. I am Spanish, and I can tell you there are better places to go for a half lager. Disappointing.

Went here after seeing the reviews and nearby to the apartment stayed on. Got razor clams and anchovies for light dinner. Taste nice but some clams (grilled)were still with a little sand.

Restaurant
Restaurante Casa Vicente is a popular spot known for its excellent food and friendly staff. It offers a different menu each day, including options for those with celiac disease. The lunch menu is particularly noteworthy, offering salad, bread, starter, main course, dessert, and half a bottle of wine for just 10. The restaurant can get crowded quickly due to its popularity so it's recommended to make reservations in advance.
Fideua on the Monday menu. Excellent, lots of seafood and very tasty. Main courses also very good. Service excellent, everyone was very welcoming, made a fuss of our miniature pinscher dog Paco who sat under our table on the terrace enjoying the atmosphere. Will return, Keith Jennie and Paco.

I stopped here for lunch, and it was a so-so experience. The menu had a variety of Spanish options, from seafood to grilled meats. I went for a shrimp dish with a side of rice. The shrimp were flavorful but overcooked, and the rice was dry. The sangria was refreshing, though, which was a plus. The servers were polite but slow, and we had to ask for napkins. The decor was charming with wooden accents, but the place felt a bit run-down, and it got noisy. Prices were reasonable, but I’ve had better meals for less. It’s fine for a casual bite, but I wouldn’t prioritize it.

Always love the food here and pop in for a drink when we can. We asked if there was any tapas to go with the drinks, was a little shocked at the €5 charge for the tapas as its normally free

Service was good and staff were very friendly. They helped with translating the menu since we had very limited Spanish. Food was tasty, we had the cod with tomato and chips. However, it was roasting inside and we were sat at a table right next to a leaky air con so we were facing the kitchen area. There were two big buckets of water right next to the table and a lot of flies which made eating the food very tedious. We were hoping to sit outside but the staff said it was too busy, even though there were several tables free outside when we left after around an hour.
