Nestled in the heart of Downtown Dells, Monk's Bar & Grill has been a beloved family-friendly destination since 1947. This iconic establishment is not just known for its delicious American fare but also for its rich history as the birthplace of the famous monk burger. With several locations across Wisconsin, Monk's offers a warm and inviting atmosphere adorned with memorabilia celebrating local sports teams like the Badgers and Packers.
My sister and I visited here on a Saturday afternoon. We sat upstairs. The decorations are nostalgic and fun to see. We shared fried cheese curds and a Reuben sandwich, which came with fries. The sandwich was quite large, and even with sharing it, neither of us could finish our half and very much enjoyed it. The cheese curds were very tasty. Also we had our appetizer within 10 minutes of ordering and barely another ten minutes later, had our meal. This was a good choice for us and enjoyed very much!!!

Overall food and service was great. Burgers were cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is like a typical bar with multiple levels. If I were to make a couple of suggestions, the onion petals we ordered were ok but way over priced for half an order and the amount you get for such. Also, eventhough the bathroom appeared clean, the floor was sticky. Other then that, I would recommend coming to the the iconic downtown Dells restaurant for a delicious burger. Lastly, when walking in and out of the restaurant, be careful as there is a slight slope!
C T — Google review
Stopped in here a little concerned that being dinner and downtown we would not get a seat and would be rushed. That didn't happen at all. The service was great and we enjoyed the food.

Great bar and great burger 🍔!! Had the monks double burger and fried cheese curds. Did not disappoint 😙
Christopher S — Google review
The first time I visited Monk’s was with my boyfriend’s family—his dad used to go there back in college, so it was fun to experience a spot with that kind of tradition. Ever since then, it’s become our go-to place for lunch or dinner whenever we’re driving through or stopping in Wisconsin Dells. The burgers are consistently delicious, the atmosphere is casual and welcoming, and it’s just one of those places that feels like a solid part of the Dells experience. Whether you’re a first-timer or a regular, Monk’s never disappoints!
Tegan S — Google review
What happened to baskets or plates?? Who wants to be served a $14 burger on a piece of parchment paper? On top of that, the server has to touch the top bun of your sandwich when handing you the food. The food tastes great and they have amazing fries but they really should rethink the vessel they are serving food on…The server seemed annoyed to be working and we had to ask several times for ranch and never got more water.
Carissa W — Google review
Customer service was phenomenal. We visited on a Friday during lunch in the spring, it was not too busy, servers are active and fun. Cheese curds are good, but the Gouda burger was out of this world! I couldn't recommend it more. The Cuban sandwich was delicious as well. Service was fast, and location was very clean. Good tap selection. Street parking, and paid parking around the corner.
David O — Google review
10/10 recommend!!! First time here and Kevin was our fantastic server!! The food was delicious. I got the Southwest chicken wrap which can be a hit or miss but this was properly proportioned and very flavorful. Two burgers were enjoyed & the sweet potato fries were BOMB! Probably some of the best I’ve ever had. Runners knew whose food belonged to whom and I feel that’s the sign of a well organized system. We sat outside and it was a super peaceful experience. Really happy with our first food choice at the Dells.

Restaurant
MACS (Macaroni and Cheese Shop) in Wisconsin Dells is a casual eatery that offers a variety of comforting macaroni and cheese dishes. The restaurant's rustic industrial interior provides a cozy atmosphere for diners to enjoy their meals.
MACS is a must-visit if you love macaroni and cheese. I tried the flavor of the month, Little Squeaker, and it was done really well—definitely worth keeping on the menu. I’ve also had the Memphis and the Popper in the past, and both were excellent. My son loves the Original. Overall, it’s such a unique experience with creative flavors and great execution. If mac and cheese is your thing, you should absolutely stop in and give this place a try.
Sean H — Google review
As a macaroni lover, we had to try MACS. The menu options were awesome and we had a hard time deciding what to get but settled on a regular size Mama’s and Cheeseburger mac. The two regular sizes was a little smaller than we were expecting for two people and probably should’ve gotten a third or even their largest macaroni size. Flavor wise, I liked the mamas the best. The hotdogs were thin sliced and had sort of a crispy texture. The saltiness of them was super good against the base Mac which was pretty mild in flavor. More gooey and light cheese flavor than a sharp cheddar flavor. The cheeseburger was pretty good. It came with a large unseasoned patty on top which was kind of hard to cut and I don’t think added much. I liked the dressing and pickles that came with it the most. The inside was pretty empty. Definitely fast casual feel. You order at a counter. They bring your order to your table and check in a couple times. Overall, good experience and would like to try other flavors!
Katie G — Google review
We stopped by MACS in Wisconsin Dells and absolutely loved it! We ordered the Philly Steak mac & cheese, and it did not disappoint, the portion size was generous, and every bite was packed with flavor. The cheese had that rich, authentic taste, and the steak was perfectly seasoned and tender. It’s the perfect comfort food spot hearty, flavorful, and satisfying. Definitely a must-try if you’re in the Dells and craving something cheesy and delicious!

This place SLAPS! Five of us just got dinner here and everyone is raving about their dish. The staff was kind and helpful. Quick to offer suggestions. Omg the food was top notch baby! So glad we got the Mac daddy so we all got leftovers. Oh! And they have great fountain drink options!

Macs smacks. So much cheese. So much yum. I was recommended the chicken bacon ranch mac, it was sublime. I got the regular size and feel like I could've eaten more (however it was probably the best for my waistline that I didn't get the bigger size 🤣). My coworker was unable to finish his larger portion. Super yum. Thank you Macs!
Tasha J — Google review
The best mac and cheese I've ever eaten in this country!! Really cheesy and creamy! And the broccoli soup is amazing!! I'd definitely recommend as I'm a big fan of mac and cheese! Hope you enjoy as much as I did

Excellent place to go when you're in the Dells area! We were greeted with a smile and very friendly staff. They helped with selections and offered us the current promotion. Food came out relatively fast and was delivered to our table. Food was hot and delicious! Truly enjoyed our time their.

The Del-Bar is a timeless and classy supper club located in Wisconsin Dells, with a rich history dating back to 1943. The swanky Prairie-style venue was designed by James Dresser, an apprentice of Frank Lloyd Wright. This family-owned establishment offers an intimate dining experience with a menu featuring steak and seafood fare, complemented by a selection of fine wines and cocktails.
Me & my wife went for our anniversary. When I made the reservation on Open Table I marked it was our anniversary. Right away we were told happy anniversary and were seated in our own little room off the dining area. Our waitress also acknowledged and gave us free champagne and offered to take our picture for us. The atmosphere was nice. I had a bourbon old fashioned. I think I liked Ishnala’s better. We ordered the cheese curds and they were on par with Ishnala. I had the prime rib which I thought was better than Ishnala’s but wish the portion was bigger. The experience overall was great and couldn’t have asked for a better waitress. Would go back if had the opportunity.

It was my first time trying escargots. I liked their seasoning but it was a bit salty for me. But the oysters we ordered were amazing and super fresh! The salmon plate was good, but I didn’t really enjoy the wild rice pilaf. The service was great!!
G L — Google review
Our steaks were very good, well seasoned and a decent cut. My wife really enjoyed the mashed potatoes and my hash browns were good. We werr each disappointed with our "Wisconsin brandy old fashioneds", they were sub par for an upscale establishment with prices like this, worst of all they were made from a mix with no muddled fruit. We were also not happy with our table. It felt like we were in the middle of a high traffic area that should not have a table.

I have been going to the Del-Bar since I was young. Between my family and I, we have had most items on their menu and can honestly say nothing has ever disappointed us. Everything has consistently been great. We were traveling on the road today and I just had to stop for the best French Onion Soup on the planet!!! Their soup is homemade with a savory chicken broth. They don’t skimp on the fresh cheese either. When you sit down, you are greeted with a lovely cracker basket and ice water. Rolls and butter are also served. We topped off our visit with a shared Turtle Cheesecake. Absolute heaven!!! Their service is always top notch. We had the pleasure of being served by Chris today. Chris was very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is very modern MCM styled, which reminds me of my childhood, so, it’s a lovely step back into time. A true 5* dining experience.

We received a gift card for the Del-Bar and went for an anniversary meal. It did not disappoint. I had prime rib and my wife had walleye. Both were excellent. The prime was rare, as ordered, and very tender. Her walleye was lightly breaded, flaky, and delicious. Old Fashioneds were very good also. Complimentary glass of champagne for our anniversary was a nice touch. Thanks for a nice evening.
J R — Google review
Roy our server was fantastic and explained the menu options wonderfully. The stakes were amazing and the butter and blue cheese put it over the top. The old fashions and the vibe made our night one to remember. Will be back next time we are in town.

The Del Bar lives up to it's name and what it's known for!! Me and my family were there for the first time and it won't be the last! Got there before our reservations to enjoy a drink and Sam was amazing and friendly. Once seated in one of there beautiful dining rooms, Alexandrou was incredibly professional and prompt, thank you! Then food, absolutely delicious. Get the cheese curds!! Can't wait to go back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/10 Highly Recommend! I can’t say enough wonderful things about The Del Bar! From the moment we arrived, Cheyenne S. and Phillip, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, especially with all my food allergies. They made me feel completely safe and cared for, which is something I don’t take for granted when dining out. Cheyenne was absolutely amazing. She told me she couldn’t let me not have something special for my birthday, so she surprised me with the sweetest gesture, a glass filled with fresh raspberries, garnished with lime and lemon, and even topped with a birthday candle. It honestly made my night! I actually had tears I was so happy! Phillip and the team didn’t take advantage of our unique situation; instead, they treated us with kindness, honesty, and genuine hospitality. Every detail was thoughtful, and the entire experience felt special from start to finish. If you’re looking for a place that truly cares about their guests, The Del Bar is it. I can’t recommend them enough!

Nestled in a charming locale, House of Embers Restaurant is a delightful throwback to classic dining with its themed rooms and inviting seasonal patio. This beloved establishment has been delighting guests for over 54 years, offering an impressive array of dishes that span from traditional American barbecue to intriguing international flavors. Known particularly for its mouthwatering ribs and steaks, the menu also features enticing specials that keep diners coming back for more.
First time at House of Embers, came with my wife. We both enjoyed the food and service. We hit happy hour so the prices were excellent as well 😀. I got the happy hour special blue cheese sirloin and it was fantastic. Probably had the best seasoning of any steak I've had at a restaurant and that's including some higher end steak joints. The blue cheese topping was high quality and delicious. My wife also got a steak and she said it was seasoned well. Only reason I'm not rating the food five stars is neither steak was cooked exactly as we ordered them. I asked for medium rare and it came medium and she asked for rare and it came straight blue (cooked like 20-30 seconds on a side). We got the spin dip and crab cake appetizers and both were excellent. For desert she got the key lime pie which was great and I got the turtle sundae which was a bit odd but decent. Overall, we'll come back for sure.
Matt T — Google review
House of Embers food is definitely 5 star. The ribs literally fall off the bone and had perfect taste. It’s everything you want when you eat ribs. The 6oz South African Lobster tails were excellent. They were tender, juicy, and quite large unlike the lover tails you get at chain restaurants. We were very happy. We wanted to add those onto our meal instead of the 5 oz Canadian Lobster Tails. To add those on is an up charge of $29.99. We asked how much it would cost to add two of the South African Tails on. It was $54.99 each but an entire meal which included 2 tails, soup or salad, potato and bread was only $99. We were confused at why it would cost more to add on two tails which didn’t make sense so we just got the whole meal for $99. We both had the beef and barley soup. We didn’t care for it but it was still decent. The veggies that came with my tails were really good. It was busy and the service was kind of slow but we did get taken care of. The atmosphere reminded us of a cheap Chinese restaurant with shower curtains randomly hanging up. LOL. We got a good laugh. But it was nice and we enjoyed it. I had the Blueberry Moscow Mule. 5 star all the way. It was tasty. The firecracker shrimp was really good too. We will definitely go back and we high recommend giving them a try.

Magnificent supper club right on the strip of Lake Delton. This establishment has been here for years and I finally took the time to fine here. It was so well worth the visit. Immediately upon entering, the host and hostess, whom I presume are the owners, all smiley and such, welcomed me (as well as thanked me for my patronage with I left). The atmosphere was cozy with families dining together, enjoying a birthday together, etc. My server was a sweet lady who often checked on me. The food though, was off the chain! I made it during happy hour and didn't want to over eat as I still had a littke drive back to Milwaukee. I had the 8 oz. Sirloin topped with blue cheese. Using "Embers" as part of the name of their restaurant surely spoke for itself in the steak as it had a succulent char-grilled taste, perfectly medium-rare. The vegetable medley of cauliflower, green beans and carrots were perfectly al dente and buttery. The scoop of roasted mashed 🥔 with chives was delicious. Topped with two wheat and caraway seed dinner rolls prior and a Capital Brew Oktoberfest, I was satiated and not overly full. I ordered a piece of carrot cake to go and my server said it was enough for 4 people. She wasn't kidding. My wife and I shared it later and it was the best 🥕 cake we ever had. I will be returning to try the ribs and prime rib. This place is a treat.
Michael W — Google review
I had the Surf and turf Tournedos and my partner had the burger. We also had asparagus pita appetizer. The waiter was very attentive, food was exquisite, done to perfection! The place looked fancy though they weren’t stuffy. My car actually had an issue from starting in back and waiter came back to try to help and then another worker, even said I could park overnight if needed. Very friendly and helpful staff. It was a good experience. Thanks for your 5 star service!
Angie B — Google review
The food was really delicious and well cooked. The service was on point. The restaurant dining area is impeccable, old features with modern updates, live music 🎶 at the patio. Large parking lot. Visit House of ember and learn some of their stories in Wisconsin dells, and of course enjoy the food.

Facility was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. I tried two dishes. Fettuccine Alfredo with bacon and a twice baked potato. The two dishes were so over spiced the taste was ruined. Would I come back? No. The wife's and child did not finish their dishes and did not take home left overs.
Murry W — Google review
I was a little worried at some of the bad reviews. We had an amazing time. Our server was fun & attentive. Bread was warm. Dinner was delicious! Been coming to the dells for too many years and this was my first time. Who doesn't love a supper club?
Nicole — Google review
For our 36 anniversary Brenda and I spent a week in the Dells, our Anniversary Dinner was at The House of Embers. The staff is extremely friendly the decor and music was like taking a time machine back to the 30s or 40s and the music was just loud enough to hear it wasn't loud enough to hamper conversation. We had stuffed mushrooms and sirloin medallions with a caramelized blue cheese for appetizers they were fabulous. Main course was petite filet and lobster (that's kinda our normal anniversary meal) it was beyond fantastic. Everything about that evening was epic, thanks House of Embers for making it so.

Restaurant
High Rock Cafe is a casual bi-level restaurant and bar offering creative twists on American classics, along with seasonal draft beer. Situated near the river walk and Broadway shops in Wisconsin Dells, it provides a pleasant dining experience. The upper level boasts large floor-to-ceiling windows for an indoor-outdoor feel. The menu features top-notch quality and presentation, including sandwiches, wraps, tacos, and entrees like Slammin Salmon.
Great food! The cheese curds and goat cheese were awesome appetizers. Felt like this was a step up from your classic, American, fried food!

We walked in at 5:30pm and were sat overlooking the strip and served great food in large portions. The price for two entrees and drinks was about $50 with tip. Very friendly service nice atmosphere the steps to the second floor are steep tho if you want to sit there don’t do it on leg day.

I ordered the chicken Alfredo. It was dry with barley any sauce. The chicken was cubed and tasted like it sat under a heat lamp. The waitress asked if I wanted a box and I declined. She immediately said you didn't like it and I shrugged because I'm not someone that complains, and she said not enough sauce huh? She did offer to give me a free dessert, but I declined. Service was fine and I have no complaints about the waitress or atmosphere, but was highly disappointed in the food.

The food was great! My husband and I annoyed the food & we will definitely be coming back! Our server Taylor was absolutely amazing! From the moment we sat down, she brought such great energy and made the whole experience awesome. She was super friendly, quick, and made sure everything was perfect the entire time. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does! Hands down one of the best servers I’ve ever had, give that girl a raise! 🙌

We had a great lunch here this week. We asked to sit upstairs, and it was fun to look out over the street while eating. Kids enjoyed their grilled cheese and the fruit they got with it. Husband had alfredo pasta which was good. They did not have gluten free buns, but gave me my sandwich fixings with a side of lettuce which was really nice. Very friendly service, and we felt the prices were quite reasonable - would definitely go again!
Christine H — Google review
The food was fantastic, I had the Alfredo and added salmon. It was cooked perfect. We had also tried the gilly goat and one it was one of the tastiest appetizers Ive had. Our bartender Taylor was hilarious and engaging we shared stories and laughs. I'll definitely be back for the staff and the food!🥰

Food was so disappointing. We used to come here all the time when it was the old owners. The menu is completely gone from before. We both had the rasta pasta. It felt so much like a thrown together miss match dish. Had way too much going on. For an appetizer we had beer cheese soup. It was not any better than progresso canned soup. Very little flavor and weird consistency. We wont be coming back. We should have listened to the other locals that said dont waste your time. Really really sad honestly😪. Only good part was the waitress with green hair was very nice.

Lake City Social is a laid-back restaurant offering classic American dishes, local beers, and cocktails in a relaxed setting. The menu features delicious BBQ ribs, flavorful burgers, and an extensive selection of comfort food with a unique twist. It's a great spot for casual dining with family and friends, especially during Fourth of July celebrations. The kids' menu includes popular handheld items while the main menu offers cheese curds, Reuben sandwiches, loaded mashed potatoes, and more.
Server was really great. Polite, quick, and the right amount of attentiveness. Food was spot on. Had the 3 Street Taco (Cod, Shrimp, and Pork). All three were great. Pork was the best. Loaded mashed side was fantastic. Wife loved the beef wrap. Sweet potato tots were fantastic. Kids both loved the m their food (cheeseburger and corn dog). My son rated his corn dog 1 billion out of 10. Duck Bacon Rangoon was also fantastic. Will definitely come back next trip. Price was really good for the amount of food. Definitely one of the best values around, of not the best.

We both ordered a burger here, and they were great burgers! Their mashed potato side and fries were also delicious. Our server was Angel and he was GREAT!! We were sat very close to the bar and we were not impressed by the bartender’s professionalism. She seemed like she has worked there awhile and has some regulars that like her… it’s just her demeanor was very loud and not very positive for dining. She was short/snippy to her coworkers who were also working. We quite clearly (and loudly) heard her talking negatively about a coworker behind their back. She also made loud comments about how she is the only one making drinks. She asked coworkers to stop recommending certain drinks because she was stressed. She did not fit with the otherwise nice, upscale dining experience we had. The food was great though (as was our server)!
Sylvia P — Google review
To be fair, the food in Wisconsin is different from what my family is used to, so we have enter establishments knowing that fact. That said, the appetizers were very good. The burgers missed the mark, however. And the fries tasted like they were cooked in very old grease. But I would try fish or prime rib next time I visit.
Angela R — Google review
Great stop. We enjoyed the food and drinks a lot. Burgers, salad, tuna poke, chicken, macaroni, all was a big hit. The only thing that was "just ok" was the smores sunday desert. We expected to maybe have the marshmallows toasted and more graham crackers.

Raised in Lake City, MI we had to go check out a Lake City Social restaurant, especially after we looked over the menu on Google. Delicious food and one of the best server’s we have ever throughout our travels! SMOKED RIB TIPS, ASIAN CHOP SALAD, Nashville hot chicken sandwich, Caprese pesto chicken with sweet potato fries and rice! All tasted 5⭐️
Laura H — Google review
I had to leave a 5 star review for, not just for the delicious food, but mostly for the amazing service we received last evening. We ordered 2 appetizers, 2 kids meals and 2 entrees. Our server put in our appetizers first, in hopes they would come out before the rest of the food. We ordered the cheese curds and the pulled pork nachos (highly recommend both!) The kitchen was so fast that our meals made it to the table before the appetizers. We had only waited what felt like 7 or 8 minutes after completing our order. We were happily surprised that our food came so fast as we were starving and politely asked where the appetizers were. The guy who delivered our food was confused so he went to check on them. He came back with the appetizers a few minutes later saying that the apps were on hold because they were waiting on the cheese curds which was apparently a huge ordeal in the kitchen. For us, it wasn't a big deal at all as the cheese curds and nachos arrived within 3 minutes of getting our Entrées. Our server informed us that the manager had decided to give our apps for free since they came out late. My wife and I didn't think that was necessary at all and we ended up tipping 20% as they were so generous. Food was soooooo good but the service was top notch. We will definitely be back next time we are in the Dells!

We had a good meal, at a good price, with great service. Nice looking place and very clean. We dined early so I'm unsure what it's like when busy, but our service was quick and we didn't feel rushed.

Family friendly restaurant! We ordered their burger, salad with soup and caprese grilled chicken and it all tastes good. Also, the server gave an excellent service!

Kaminski's Chop House, located in the Chula Vista Resort, is a top-notch dining option for those seeking a luxurious meal with stunning views of the Wisconsin River. This elegant steakhouse offers an array of delectable steaks and seafood dishes, making it a haven for meat enthusiasts.
Kaminski's Chop House is an amazing restaurant for dinner with family or large business groups. Recently, I was part of a large 10-person group dinner, and our waiter took amazing care of us. I felt like every need was met, and my beverage was always full. He did a great job with explaining the overall service, what to expect, wine information, and cuts of beef / seafood selections. The appetizers were great and the dinner exceeded expectations. This was my third time at this restaurant, since it was recommended to me and I try to stop by when I'm in the area. Keep up the great work and looking forward to my next visit.

I went to celebrate a friend's birthday. Service and atmosphere were good. I ordered a 12oz filet mignon. The meat was cooked perfectly. Just like I requested. I also ordered the mushroom risotto that did not taste like mushrooms and it was overly cheesy. It was cooked okay, but the lack of mushrooms was a bummer. The hash browns were very good, but the mashed potatoes were meh. Beware that they charge for the rocks if you order a drink "on the rocks". They charge extra because they consider "on the rocks" as a double. I thought that was odd and I have never heard of that rule before and I have been ordering the same drinks for a couple of years now. They gave us a big brownie cake for my friend's birthday, so that was nice. Just know that the place is very pricey, okay food, and only order "on the rocks" if you want a double drink. Oh, the portions are very big. Definitely enough to share.

Had dinner with my wife in this restaurant. The attention to the guests was superior. We were quickly greeted and seated. Promptly came out waiter who was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I loved how he interacted with his guests while taking our order. This restaurant is pricey okay, but the food was delicious and served promptly and with care. I noticed that the portions of the stakes was incredible although we went with the seafood. If you are a stakes enthusiasts this is the place to go.

Very good food and service. The dining room was a little loud but it was also very busy. Steaks were big and the sides were more than shareable. Very good food but very pricey. $175 for one king crab leg. I was interested in the crab until i saw the price.

Appetizers: Calamari and peppers and shrimp cocktail were good with large portions, Food was average at best, Table side salad was very good, but only one type. (Garbage salad) Prime beef was cooked well but beef broth was very salty. Skip the shrimp pasta zero flavor, Sides were huge, Asparagus, brussels sprouts and the hash browns were off the chart Good

This was the best way to celebrate our anniversary ❤️ and my birthday. 🥳 Everything was very good 👍 we enjoyed every bite and for sure we'll be back in the future

We went here as a large group business dinner and had an amazing time with a private room and set dinner menu. Portions were huge and food was excellent. We were so impressed by one waiter, Mike C, that we came back the next day as a couple for dinner again and specifically requested him. The full menu was impressive. It's a bit expensive for Wisconsin, but worth the splurge. We had an incredible experience from recommended wine and sauces to special flavored red wine and truffle salts for our perfectly cooked steaks. They also hand drip their own infused coffee vodka which makes a mean espresso martini. Next time we are in the Dells we'll definitely return. Thanks and great work to the restaurant staff.

This is a dining experience! While Google had us going round the houses to find it, once we got there, the staff were super welcoming and friendly. The food is not cheap and their $99 menu for two is not available Friday to Sunday, but if you can spring it for an occasion, it's well worth the visit. The portion sizes of the sides are enormous... and delicious. Be prepared to take home leftovers!

Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que is a popular BBQ chain known for its wood-smoked meats and American West-themed atmosphere. With two locations in Wisconsin Dells, it's the perfect spot to refuel after a day of exploring the area's attractions. The restaurant offers Famous Dave's signature BBQ sauce and a variety of sides. While some visitors found the restaurant small, they appreciated the quick seating and attentive service from friendly staff members.
I was happy with the brisket and tips. The corn bread muffin was tasty! The pickled onions with the few pickle slices was a nice touch. It added flavor. I think my favorite sauce (they have 3 BBQ sauces on the tables) was rich and sassy. Overall, I had a good experience here. The food was tasty!

Good food, good portions. A little pricey, but that's the economy.. polite staff, although she was quiet..
Ric W — Google review
Famous Dave's is usually a consistent spot for a barbecue fix. I ordered the two-meat combo with brisket and pulled pork. The pulled pork was fantastic: moist, flavorful, and perfect with their Devil's Spit sauce for a kick. The highlight, as always, was the sweet, cake-like cornbread muffin. The brisket, however, was disappointing on this visit. While it had good flavor and a smoke ring, the meat was dry and not very tender. The sides were decent; the coleslaw was crisp and fresh, but the mac and cheese was just standard. Service was quick and efficient, perfect for a lunch break. It was still a good meal and I would return, but I’ll stick to their pulled pork or ribs, which they consistently get right.

Don’t go there! I don’t know what happened but this place is terrible. We were told there was no chicken left, but after a few minutes the server says they still have some left. They had no fries either. The place is tiny and the food is definitely not the same. Our food was warm not hot. We sat by the stairs and one of the workers was sweeping the stairs, we were right under them. We had to ask her stop sweeping. They looked at us like it was no big deal, no apology nothing. Food does not taste good. On our way out workers and manager talking and the broom was on the floor where people are passing. We will never go there again.

This Famous Dave's is located in Downtown WI Dells. During the summer tourist season, many of the tourist destinations and restaurants are operated by international students. The concept is great, but imagine managing a restaurant where an entire staff speaks a different language! We asked a server for ketchup, butter, and napkins. We got a bottle of ketchup because I gave her an empty, nothing more. I asked a 2nd server for butter. We got a glass of water. When the water arrived, I spelled out the word B U T T E R. It finally came. Unfortunately, by then, the corn on the cob was cold. We still walked out full, wishing our server all the best in her studies in her home country.

NEVER COMING BACK HERE AGAIN! TAKE A CLOSER LOOK AT YOUR RECEIPT AND SPECIFY MORE THAN ONCE WHAT YOU WANT TO ORDER. Our family with only 3 adults ordered the feast for 2 which was more than enough. We let our server know exactly what we wanted and when the food came it was delicious. But once we got our bill the bill had the All American BBQ feast which fed 4-6 people. We knew that was a lot of food to begin with that is why we specified the feast for 2 and still got charged the all American bbq feast. They discounted our receipt but the left overs that we had the restaurant forced us to give them back the left overs we packaged up. Like what was the restaurant going to do with the left overs ? Give them to other people? It’s not our fault we got charged for the wrong meal ?

I would advise against visiting this establishment. My daughter's birthday party dined here between 2:00pm-3:00pm and the food was unremarkable. I am requesting a $192 refund. Notably, the macaroni bowls served to my daughter and her friend were excessively soupy. The manager maintained that this was the intended preparation method. However, I contradicted them, citing my own experience with macaroni in Milwaukee and issues with Famous Dave's. The manager permitted my daughter to select an alternative meal, but I was still charged for the original dish. Conversely, her friend, who did not eat, was charged for the bowl, albeit with a 50% discount. Moreover, my food and the other girls' meals were served cold.

Grateful Shed is a unique and vibrant indoor food truck venue in Wisconsin Dells. It offers a diverse range of local and global eats, including burgers, tacos, milkshakes, and more served by multiple food trucks. The venue also features a bar serving local drafts and hosts live music performances by Midwest artists. Visitors can enjoy the quirky dining experience with unique seating options both inside an old Greyhound bus hanging from the rafters and outdoors.
Absolutely Worth It! The food was worth every penny. We ate at the taco food truck, and the street tacos and street corn were phenomenal—packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. They also offer both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, available in various sizes. The best part? Drinks come in souvenir cups that you can bring back the next day for a free refill during your stay at the Dells. Great food, fun vibe, and a nice perk for return visitors!

THE MOST HAPPENING PLACE IN WISCONSIN DELLS!! Open till 2am, this place is perfect for the whole family to enjoy!. This place has multiple food trucks indoors as well as a full bar, Live music and a variety of cool places to sit (for example a real size bus hanging from the ceiling! And old school modified vans). They have a large outdoor patio with a fire pit, games and plenty of sitting areas. We had the wings and pizza and it was a 10 out of 10 hands down! Super fresh and very flavorful!. We also got some alcoholic beverages, nice and strong (fun fact, if you buy a drink off their special menu, you get a fun free cup and refills are 9dlls after the 1st drink). Staff were super friendly and fast! Very good customer service. Overall we had a blast here!. 100% recommended!. P.S They have a go kart track as well!.

Was really stoked for this place because of the theme & atmosphere. It sort of ended up being a bust. Not sure if we would come back here if we came to the Dells again. The shining star was the strawberry daiquiris which I got in a souvenir cup. Their souvenir cups were good and cute designs. The interior was awesome and very captivating. We got a bacon mac & cheese pizza and it was very subpar. Wasn’t terrible, but wasn’t great. We wished there was an option for a side of sauce like hot sauce or a ranch. Food was pretty mid, but drinks were alright. Fun to check out if you’ve never been there before.

This is a cool spot to hang out. However, I ended up getting sick after eating a burger here. But my kids really enjoy this place, so I'd rate it a four out of five for the atmosphere.

The atmosphere was pretty good. I absolutely love the black lights that they had. The music was great. The food was absolutely amazing. The mini sliders were probably have to be my favorite. Soda was a little pricey. It is kind of loud inside and really hard to hear conversations. They had cornhole outside. And there's also one of those phone boxes that you'd see in England. It is a rather lively place especially on a Saturday night.

WOW!!! This was a really cool place to stop in and eat at and I loved the atmosphere. Street tacos were delicious and messy lol. Pizza was tasty and my daughter loved the trash can nachos. Definitely one of the coolest places to hang out at in Wisconsin Dells. The staff were great as well and I had to buy myself a Greatful Shed T-shirt plus they gave me some bumper stickers for buying a T-shirt which was awesome.

Been to the Dells a bunch of times. First time here and feel like I missed out all the other times! This place is AWESOME! Live bands, fire pits outside, family games like bags or a huge tick tac toe stand. Like 8 food trucks inside that sell any food you want. Old 70s bushes and vehicles like on Pulp Fiction you can sit and eat in.

Loved everything we tried but especially the pizza and wings from Cluck Yeah! The wings were nice and crispy and the pizza extra cheesy- just how we like it. Tried happy hour on a Tuesday Afternoon in March Arrived around 4pm, we were only patrons in the restaurant. Around 10 people when we left. Excellent interior/exterior ambiance. Nice outdoor area was available with firepit. Bartender was our waitress. She was very good. Happy hour is 4-6pm Mon-Fri. Half priced apps and buy one get one free beverages. I ordered Popcorn Shrimp and Classic Wisconsin Cheddar Curds. Spouse had Bruschetta Toast and Chicken Tenders. My food was barely edible. Over deep fried and you could tell it was basically frozen food. My spouse said bruschetta was good, chicken tenders were OK. Doesn't management taste what they are serving? I'm glad I didn't pay full price.

Food was good, high quality bar food. Service was also great. Our server overheard my kids ask for one of my pickles and brought them out a small plate of pickles to share. Lost one star because my kids got slushies and that was a 5 dollar up charge for each one. No where on the menu did it state that was extra, so that was a large unexpected addition to our bill.

We came in and Tina made us feel welcome and we came in for the amazingly huge Bloody mary. The grilled toast bread for the 2 burgers is a great idea! also other snacks on board chicken nuggets and mini corn dogs as well as chicken wings and cheese and sausages . It came with two chasers. If say a great deal for us two!

Had to go there for the Monster Mary for$45. So much stuff on it mozzarella sticks. Lil corn dogs, 2 sandwiches, cheesecurds, pickles. Beef sticks. Etc etc the beer chasers were big also. plus i ordered the bacon and curd burger and my ol man ordered the bison burger. Very good burgers, the potato wedges were very good also. More burgers and pizza.

When on vacation at the Dells we decided to go to a fish fry on Friday night and Spring Brook looked okay online, so we made reservations with no problems. Got there and seated right away on the pleasant deck, orders were taken promptly and there was a singer/guitarist providing pleasant music. Dinner included a nice salad bar and clam chowder, and our fish (and cinnamon bun) and other entrees were all excellent, and reasonably priced. All in all, it was an excellent evening and we'll be back.

The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable with sporty wood and stone decore throughout. We ordered the Monster Bloody Mary, which is a full pitcher of beverage topped with several finger food items and choice of a large specialty beer or standard beer selection; see photos. The food and beverages were very flavorful. I recommend this for a party of three or more.

During the summer months, visitors to Wisconsin Dells can witness thrilling lumberjack competitions at Paul Bunyans Northwoods Lumberjack Show, featuring various challenging events. The restaurant is renowned for its famous Buttermilk Donuts and offers an all-you-can-eat dinner with two entrees served directly to your group.
Servers were absolutely pleasant and polite. Service with a smile. All staff was busy with work, no one was in a corner on their phones. Food was amazing. Donuts are freshly made. They have their own bakery and make them every day. Very neat gift shop. Cost for two people $42, a little sticker shock. It is all you can eat family style. Includes 2 meats, scrambled eggs, pancakes, fried potatoes, biscuits and gravy, 2 donuts and drinks. Biscuits were homemade. No doubt you will want to purchase the donuts to take home

Paul Bunyan’s Cook Shanty was family style dining. There were three rooms filled with people. The food was delivered to each table by a dedicated person. We had a waiter named Wyatt. Food was refilled based on request. The food is very fulfilling, so it is easy to get full fast. There were add on menu items available for purchase. There was also a gift shop on site. There was a long line when we arrived, but multiple people worked the line so that it moved quickly.

Lodging style with a crowed gift shop. Higher price for the buffet in a tourists area with outdoor theme. Not sure if the rustic mugs were apart of the themed(gross). The cashier was rude for first timers, pay first (tip upfront was new to us) she didn’t bother to explain anything, hand us an extra menu to choose. Then loud and clear ask my hubby how much do we want to tip in a rushed tone( they were not busy at all ). Our waiter was attentive and nicely explained to first timers. Tasteless coffee, average warm food. Oily potatoes, ham, sausage, scrambled eggs and pancakes were ok, sugary cake doughnut was average. Hubby likes the gravy hot cakes. Ask for any extra if need : scrambled eggs, sausage, breakfast potatoes, gravy hot cakes, ham, doughnuts, milk, juice coffee. NO BACON. Anything else needs to pay up front. We barely finish any of our food.

Now this is a fun place to eat breakfast! Definitely a must when staying in the dells It’s so cool to eat family style and have so many options for breakfast! It’s a bit pricey. Our family of four costed $80 (kids are 6&7) but it is all you can eat. The food is pretty good, we really enjoyed the pancakes and biscuits and gravy. You are kind of rushed through though. This place does get very very busy.

It was alright. All you can eat. They bring everything to the table and refill if you want more of something. It’s more of an experience. The scrambled eggs were not cooked well enough for me. Even my husband who eats anything was not a fan. Too wet and runny for me. Sausages, potatoes and biscuits and gravy were ok. The best part was the pancake and donut, those were very yummy but wouldn’t come back to pay $20 for all you can eat and just eat pancakes.

Brought my wife in on our Dells trip for the lunch buffet. I called in advance to make sure it was available and the host was very helpful. The buffet was $15 each + a $3.70 drink, and they accepted a 10% coupon. Overall I thought it was worth it. Lots of variety salad toppings (the potato salad is great) and plenty of pizza to choose from. The thin crust is like a cracker crust, and they also have a tossed style with a thicker crust. They only had a few desserts, and the pasta setup was very sad. But what we had was very good. I would definitely come back.
Jennifer T — Google review
Pizza Pub was much more than a pizza bar. There was an abundant salad bar. There was a dessert bar. There was a pasta bar. Then there were multiple options when it came to pizza. There were thick crust and thin crust options. The only reason the atmosphere and service received a three star is because an elder waitress stood by the salad bar speaking negatively about a co-worker named Tracy. I hope they are able to find a way to work together peacefully.
Tavetta P — Google review
We went here under the impression that it was a pizza bar. We found out that it was set up from 11:00-2:00 only. We were there at 7:00 This is why I gave a 3 Star rating However the food was quite tasty! Food and service I rate 5 Star. We ordered a meat pizza and had the salad bar. The salad bar had a variety of foods to choose from. There wasn’t a lot of patrons there so quiet very quiet atmosphere

stopped by for the dinner buffet and was so disappointed. the pizza tasted like those frozen ones you pop in the oven except for the pepperoni which had the thick crust whilst everything else was thin crust. the salad bar was good and the pastas/lasagna looked good but didn’t try it. the reason for the one star review is because as I went to get dessert, there was flies walking on the cookies. SO gross, don’t think i’ll be back because I won’t be able to forget that.

The service at Pizza Pub is quick and it’s clear that our server Dagmar truly cares about giving customers a good experience despite it being busy. Mr. Pancake Restaurant is a cozy breakfast and lunch spot that has been a Wisconsin tradition for over 50 years. The restaurant, designed to look like a Louisiana paddlewheel boat, is run by the Thompson family and offers a fun and friendly atmosphere. They serve up freshly made batter daily with closely guarded secret ingredients, resulting in fluffy pancakes available in 18 delicious variations.
This is a really cute restaurant to enjoy a great breakfast with your family at. The meal was affordable for a large family, about $115 including tip. The kids all loved the French toast and pancakes they ordered. They also loved the chocolate milk...?!? It was like they never had chocolate milk in their whole life kind of loved it...I think my 16 year old drank the whole cup in a span of ten second. I had a veggie omelet and enjoyed it. The waiter was great, the atmosphere wonderful and the building is adorable.

My wife and I had Mr. Pancake for the first morning of our anniversary trip. It was a delight. I had the breakfast burrito with chorizo and she had the Denver omelette, fresh fruit, and “real good toast”. The food was excellent even though the burrito was on the smaller side. The homemade salsa that came with it was very good with my hash-browns. My wife also said the fruit was very high quality. Macy, our server, was AWESOME! She was very attentive to what we needed but did not rush us in the lease. She even kept up with my countless refill requests. Would give 10 stars if I could. They have a kids menu on the back with coloring and an activity. This is a very well oiled machine. Would recommend to anyone in the Dells. Not just tourists.

Food and service were both very good. We were there around 9 am. There was a loud drunk slurring his words seated close to us in a dining room with several other families and children. For some reason he was served 2 Bloody Mary’s before we left. This would have been a great opportunity to refuse service. Most bars won’t serve someone who’s obviously intoxicated, why is this place different?

The food was really good. The portions were good. I personally think that the prices were reasonable, considering the fact that it is breakfast and it is in a tourist destination. We were greeted by the hostess and sat at a table promptly. We had one server come up and take our drinks. A few minutes after our drink order was taken, a different server came up to ask for our drinks. When we explain that our drinks were already ordered, the server got annoyed, walked away, and started screaming about whose table it was. That was a little unprofessional, in my opinion. I was genuinely shocked at that situation unfolded in front of all of the guests in the restaurant. However, after that situation, the rest of our dining experience went fine. We did end up leaving with leftovers because we did not finish all of our food due to portion size, and hey, I'm not complaining. Breakfast leftovers are always great! I definitely recommend trying this place out, especially if you are on vacation. It was delicious.

We started with the poutine - it was legit the best I've ever had!! Can I be real for a minute?!? The Morning After is dangerous. My fiance ordered it, I had 2 bites and I almost fought him so I could keep eating it! Hands down one of the GOAT. The flavor; I can't put words to it, it was something I'd drive 4 hours one way to eat again!! I had the scrumptious steak fajita wrap with a cup of chili. Both were seriously amazing!! The chili had perfect spice and the steak on the wrap paired with the fresh veggies was delish!! The atmosphere was very classy, but comfortable and the service was great!!

The restaurant was delightful ! We received great service— the host brought us to our table right away and our waitress was attentive and catered to our every need. The food was delicious and came out very quick. The menu has many choices for all different cravings and people, and many delicious shakes to choose from- hard and non alcoholic !

This is the type of place you go to for the novelty, not the go to restaurant. The shakes are cute but nothing over the top. The burgers were ok.The cheesecurds were overcooked, and greasy! The service was good, she was very friendly. The restroom was nasty!! Based on that alone I would not return here. Tried to tell someone but they just gave me a weird look and said "Oh, I'm sorry."

Went here to celebrate my friend's birthday by eating out. I had good food- I got the pulled pork quesadillas and the cotton candy shake. They got burgers as well as shakes, and they were not happy with their burgers at all. They report that the burgers were tough, overcooked, and dry. The worst part was the service. Our server seemed disinterested and did not check up on us nearly enough, leaving us with un-refilled water, our check, and no boxes for our leftover food. However, service is a very case by case basis, so I dont hold it against the whole restaurant. Given that I had a good personal experience with my food, I would go again. However due to my friends' experiences, I would avoid recommending this place to others. Worth a try though!

We got delivery one night and it took an hour to get to us (they said 27mins) and the food was cold. We stopped in to get lunch the next day and the service was slow, but the food is good with nice sized portions.

Visiting from California to Milwaukee for a vacation and this was worth the drive once we made the stop to the Dells. I got the donut shake from the ads and it was so delicious and worth the price! Not only the atmosphere was relaxing, but our waiter was very friendly and we got the shake within 5 minutes of ordering! This is a must stop if you're looking for something sweet and refreshing!

The shakes were amazing! We ordered the Chocolate, banana, peanut butter one and 3 of us shared it. It was huge. The other food..meh. The fish was overcooked in the fish and Chips. The fish tacos have a very mayonnaise -y, BBQ style coleslaw on them. Not like any other fish tacos I've had before. Maybe we should have stuck to burgers?

We had a great meal at B-Lux in Wisconsin Dells. The ribs were really good, and the shrimp and corn soup were quite tasty. Big bonus: their fancy milkshakes are actually worth the hype: super creamy, full of flavour and not overly sweet. Service was good too. Fun surprise to meet a couple of students from Kazakhstan working there through the Work & Travel program. Small world, never know where you meet a homie. Привет землякам! 🇰🇿

The outdoor ambience of this place is really good. The food was decent as well. We got the vegetarian fajita l, guac and chips, salsa & chips and veggie enchiladas! Both the dishes were good in quantity. I loved the raspberry flavoured pina colada!!

The food was not very good. It was super dark (no lighting.) The salsa tasted like tomato sauce. The food was bland and dry? I don’t know. But the customer service was A1! They’re great. Thank you for being helpful. Sorry that the food wasn’t good.

We tried coming here yesterday. Service was at first warm and friendly, sat us at table for 4 , which was too small for us, we needed room for 5. Didn’t make a big deal about it and helped ourselves to pull an extra table together so we could be more comfortable. The server came over and said that we could not do that and we would have to move to a bigger table. This was on a Monday night and not on a busy night. We said forget it and left. Went to a different Mexican restaurant down the road, and they were more inviting and welcoming. Service and food were better than expected.

We’ve been here twice and each time the different food we ordered was delicious. I highly recommend the steak tacos and spinach artichoke dip. This time the tortilla chips with my steak tacos were beyond stale which was disappointing but everything else was good. Very pretty views if you sit outside and reasonable prices.

We’ve been visiting the Dells almost 30 years and never stopped in before this week. It was great—staff immediately greeted us and told us to sit anywhere—we, of course, chose the second floor deck overlooking the river. The food was good and came out fast, the view was incredible, and we enjoyed ourselves!

I dont usually give low reviews and I review a lot of places but as is my custom I will tell my story and you can decide. My gf and I were looking for a place to eat and found it maybe with an hour till they closed. We were able to order food but a couple who came in 15 min later were told they couldn't. Which is poor customer service despite the need for side work and cleanup (there were literally only 3 customers present). I ordered the Bendito burger minus jalapeño wheels and ranch but got a burger with no pulled pork (which the menue said would be on there) and a tomato that wasn't in the description. The fries that came with it were crispy. The cheese curds were good but there were so few for the price it is not worth getting. My girl had the taco salad but it was very sloppy looking. After my experience, I remembered their staff shirts said "be patient there are literally only 3 of us" or something like that. If you have to have disclaimer shirts there is a bigger problem...Pros: nice wooden highback chairs at bar, good fries, paved lot, and t.v.s for sports viewing. Cons: So so food and poor customer service wherewithal. Probably won't visit it again. Better luck at Moosejaw.

A local bar on the strip recommended this place. I said I wanted a good salad and I was very satisfied with the steakhouse salad. Fantastic! Beautiful view of the river. Reasonable prices. Waitress was very attentive and genuinely seemed like she was having a good time at work.

Stopped in looking for a different restaurant and decided to get some apps to be polite. It ended up being a great stop. We indulged in the cheese curds and the new duck wontons. I loved the wontons, and the cheese curds were good but I think a bit of seasoning of some kind would do them really well. Service was kind and fairly hands off. We loved the incredible wood interior, and the view from the patio was gorgeous. I’m sure dinner here would have been great too.

When we went in there was nobody there. And when I say nobody I mean no customers. We told the gentleman we would need a couple of minutes. It took him a little bit longer than a couple of minutes , I had to go find somebody. Vegetarians, Vegans, Everybody!! Welcome to Pizza Paradise. We all have had a pizza before. Ever felt satisfied? Not full, but really enjoyed every bit of it. If there’s a better place than this, let me know. I challenge you. The number of items you can top up, the variety of sauces, the pesto and garlic butter drizzle. The people who work here, such as joy to interact with them. They seem so excited to serve you. Honest joy. Flavors that will blow your mind off. Fresh dough. All made in front of you and you choose. You can choose it to be a Pizza, Pasta or Salad. Hands on the best “make it yourself” place. Now we have a place we love when we come to Dells. I wish they were everywhere.

The build your own pizza on a fly concept is I think pretty genius. Not the first place I went to like that, but I really appreciate someone took time to like make the interior design stand out and the vibe of the place adds to the experience. I was able to have my tomato sauce and barbecue sauce mixed together and with additions I had the pizza that was just perfect.
Mariush G — Google review
The custom pizza concept is really fun. A kids menu is definitely missing though, having to pay $10 for pasta noodles and sauce seems a tad much when most places in the area you can get way more than that for 7 or 8 bucks in the dells for kids. The pizza itself is really good though. The atmosphere was a little odd, when there's no active orders the workers just hid in the back, not the most friendly. Will be back again though for the pizza

Precision custom ordered delicious pizza and pasta dishes. The Pizza Lab enables you to choose which ingredients and quantity as your pizza or pasta dish moves down the assembly line. You are charged a single flat price regardless of your ingredient combinations. The large variety of ingredients allowed us to have our order assembled exactly with the combination of ingredients we wanted and the outcome was an incredibly delicious and even more nutritious meal because we included a lot of veggies. Service was great. This was our first time ordering a pizza and pasta dish this way and the preparers patiently stepped us right through each phase of the processes.

Very cool to be able to tell them exactly how you want it for a flat rate. They are very nice. Have vegan cheese! And garlic butter is vegan. The pizza (crust) wasn't amazing, but it was decent and the customization is fun. Not a ton of room to sit inside, but it wasn't busy when we were there.

Culver’s is a popular fast-food chain known for its signature Butter Burgers made with Midwest beef and dairy, as well as their delicious frozen custard. With locations in Wisconsin Dells and Baraboo, it's a convenient stop for visitors to the area. The menu offers options for both meat eaters and vegetarians, including grilled cheese sandwiches on whole wheat and a variety of sides like coleslaw and onion rings.
We recently stopped by and had a delightful experience! My partner and I ordered two ButterBurger kids’ meals, and we couldn’t have been happier—the burgers were juicy, the fries were perfectly fresh, and the portion size was just right for both of us. This location definitely lives up to Culver’s reputation. What really stood out was the fast service and friendly staff. Even during a busy afternoon, our orders arrived promptly, and the team greeted us with warm smiles and helpful service. They were attentive, checked in on us halfway through the meal, and had that classic Midwestern hospitality that feels so welcoming . The restaurant itself was clean, bright, and comfortable—perfect for a casual lunch break. Though it’s in a bustling area of the Dells, the interior felt relaxed and family-friendly. It’s clear this location is popular with both tourists and locals, and for good reason. All in all, our visit was a win. Great burgers, speedy service, and a staff that truly knows how to make guests feel valued. We’ll absolutely be back next time we’re in the Dells—this Culver’s definitely hits the spot!

Terrible attitude from the young girl working the counter. Taking orders with an attitude. If you don’t like your job please find a new one. The Shift lead wasn’t any better. Lead by example. Ever want burnt shrimp, a burger patty that tastes like bad grease, a bland pretzel bite or a cheese diping sauce that tastes like watered down plastic, go to a Culver's, I have never been to one I liked and I was born in wisconsin, don't get me wrong the ice creams good, but the meals are never good to me, I know alot of people say you have to go to one when u come to Wisconsin, I let you know now it's just an over hyped up place. I keep trying it because my boyfriend always appreciates stopping by this location to grab a butter burger, I just have to go someplace else, not my cup of tea

10/30 This location is notorious for putting literally the bare minimum of toppings in mixers and sundaes. After digging through our medium sized mixer, we found it had ONE piece of brownie. What is that?!! Too expensive for that nonsense, and you actually pay XTRA for those mix in's. I'll drive the extra 4 miles for the other location. Side note: workers were giggling and chatting away in the back not paying attention.

Stopped here for lunch and we were so glad we did. Started with the cheese curds as an appetizer and they were excellent, best cheese curds we have ever had. We ordered 2 burgers and shared a side of waffle fries to split. The burgers were cooked right and they were very tasty. Also enjoyed the decor of the establishment. Would definitely stop here again when back in town.

I did not eat at the location, but I did have drinks. I stopped in to try a flight of their spirits. Bourbon and whiskey primarily. In the fright, I did try each of their spirits except the vodka and gin. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I did double up on the Bourbon and Whiskey, but each of the other spirits was noteworthy and interesting. The ginger Brandy was good, not overy spicy. A nice change if you're having a Brandy Manhattan or Brandy Alexander. Both the Bourbon and Whiskey are very nice for small batch. Can be enjoyed both straight or in cocktails. The Rum was probably the most interesting, sweet, and a bit of spice, definitely great for cocktails. Would highly recommend stopping in to try.
Rick N — Google review
I gave a 2 star on food 'cause it wasn't the worst burger I had, but it definitely was far from the best. The servers were nice. I had the Distillery burger, which according to the menu, was recommended. The cheese sauce on top was rather bland, and the burger patty was also bland. It was also luke warm and the bun was cold without any toasting. COLD. Even McDonald's doesn't serve a cold bun. Eating the burger reminded me of the burgers I would get at a community college cafeteria, which would've been fine if I didn't pay over 15 dollars without even any fries. Personally, a place that serves a burger without even fries to come with it disgusts me. I can deal with it if it is a really really good burger, but this was far from that. I wish I could say this was the worst part, but unfortunately it wasn't. When I asked what the mashbill on the bourbon and whiskey is, 3 separate workers could not answer the question. In fact, one of them answered "the bourbon was aged for 2 years in a charred barrel." You would really think an establishment that sells their own distilled products, they would train their employees to have a basic knowledge of the product and the process itself. The bourbon tasted just like the establishment. Bland and generic. At least it was warmer than the bun, I guess. To be fair, it would probably fine as a mixer, but I will definitely tell you that there are many many other bourbons that are better than this one at $45 or even less.

Nice place, friendly staff, but only one waitress working, poor girl was busting her butt. The food was good, decent price, drinks were great. Out of the plethora of restaurants in the Dells we picked this one because of the "gourmet hamburgers" and "specialty tater tots" they advertised. When the food came I was actually shocked that the $11.99 Mac and cheese tots my son ordered were obviously frozen tater tots with box macaroni and cheese on top. This is a specialty? The Lone Star Burger advertised as gourmet was obviously frozen and the pork on top was dry and overly salty. I never waste food but the burger was so bad, as you can see from the photo, I could not finish it and did not ask for it to go box. I had a bad taste in my mouth for several hours. I am really surprised at all the good reviews. I gave it two stars only because the waitress was sweet and the beer was ice cold

Hot Rocks - Sear. Sizzle. Savor. is a laid-back tiki-style restaurant in Wisconsin Dells that offers a unique dining experience where guests can cook their own seafood, steak, and lobster on hot lava rocks right at their table. This ancient cooking method dates back to 7,000 BC and allows diners to have full control over how their food is prepared.
I visited this restaurant in Wisconsin Dells with my family and had an excellent experience. The service was flawless from the start. Our server, Mira (M-I-R-A), was extremely kind and attentive; she took the time to patiently explain everything, noticing it was our first time there. She also offered great options for our little girl and explained the menu in detail, including sides and suggestions to help each of us choose the best option based on our preferences. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was very cozy—perfect for a family outing. The place was spotless, and we felt very well taken care of throughout. I highly recommend this restaurant for its outstanding quality in every aspect.

Hot Rocks was an amazing experience. We had a very attentive, informative waiter named Walter. The best way I can describe the experience was like a personalized, tabletop cookout. The food was fresh and flavorful. The vegetables were just right. The lighting in the restaurant was also just right. The decorative lamps and additions to the top of each table gave island vibes. We enjoyed the experience from beginning to end!
Tavetta P — Google review
We celebrated a birthday at Hot Rocks in Wisconsin Dells, and it made for a fun and memorable dinner. The experience is unique. You cook your meal on a hot lava rock right at the table, which is both interactive and flavorful. Just be warned: the table stays warm even after the rock is removed, and the dining room can get quite smoky. More ventilation would help with the strong mix of smells in the air. We kicked things off with virgin piña coladas and chi chi coladas. Both were surprisingly delicious. The breadsticks were soft and savory, and we loved the tiki alert system at the table—it made it easy to call the server or ask for the check. Service was quick and friendly. We had the blackened mahi mahi and two top sirloin steaks, all cooked perfectly. Sides were a mixed bag: the garlic mashed potatoes, steamed carrots, and house salad with ranch were great, but the mac and cheese was underwhelming (though they kindly offered a free swap). Dessert is a must—the beignets with Nutella mousse were phenomenal, and the Death by Chocolate (more like cheesecake than cake) was rich and satisfying. Great for a birthday or special night out!

3.5 probably the service was good and the rock was cool, but it was a little busy for us with toddler and the downside was a. everything not on the rock was mediocre (driest chicken tender ever), b. they forgot my 10% discount as benefit of living at Natura, you need to keep an eye on your own

Had an amazing time! We loved the fact that you could pick your entree and then cook it to what you believe is perfection. Cooked my steak, took it off the hot rock and put it to the side. Then sliced thin slices and returned then to the rock for a perfect bite every time. The drinks are very tasty and have collector cups. The sides were well portioned and the dessert was the cherry on the top. The "elote" is good but not when it's cold. Eat that first or it isn't worth it. Service was fast and on point. Will return here!

If you're looking for a unique dining experience, then this is the place for you! We ordered the calamari for an appetizer, and it was amazing! I ordered a cocktail with strawberry puree, I forgot the name, but it was sweet and delicious! We also ordered the tomato soup which was creamy and more like a tomato bisque, very yummy! For entrees we had the ribeye and the filet mignon with lobster tail. The rock is so hot so you have to be careful when cooking seafood because it can overcook easily. I cooked the filet to medium rare and it was soft and tender. The lobster was a little chewy. The ribeye was thick and took awhile to cook to a nice medium. But it was also tender. We then got the creme brulee cheesecake, which was amazing and the ice cream on a frozen lava rock. My daughter loved that! The service was great and the server was attentive and explained everything. My only suggestion is to get some ventilation in the dining room. Be prepared for a lot of smoke from all the meat cooking on the rocks. Overall this was a unique dining experience and I'm glad we tried!

Just a stone's throw from popular attractions like Mt.
Hidden Gem of a restaurant! Has both inside and outdoor seating, both offering views of the lake. We started with two different old fashioned drinks from the bar and they were crafted beautifully and delicious! We ordered two appetizers - the calamari and baked brie. Calamari were breaded, fried and served with a creole mayo sauce. The brie was warm, melty, and tasty. The pan fried walleye - highly recommend. The rainbow trout was also good, but if you like fish, go with the walleye! Both were served with a mushroom risotto which was flavorful and plentiful. Our teenage daughter ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and added shrimp and she absolutely raved about it. We also had the beignets. They were light, airy, flaky, and flavorful. Our server Owade was attentive, friendly, and extremely helpful. To top it off, the views over the river are breathtaking. We were extremely pleased with our overall experience. We will be back on a future trip to the Dells!

Savouring a meal watching this stunning view is one of the best things you can do in Wisconsin Dells! The food in this place is awesome and so are their drinks. We had a blessed time enjoying dinner here. Also I didn't take a picture of our cheese balls which were perfect so I highly recommend trying that if you have a chance to visit!

Ordered an espresso martini that looked like it was poured straight from the river behind the bar—thick, brown, and mildly concerning. Naturally, I renamed it “The River Water.” Fortunately, it tasted way better than it looked. Honestly? One of the best I’ve had. We generously offered Malik some truly awful pick-up lines for his future use (he pretended to be grateful), and he kindly informed me that my singing could clear the bar. Fair. All sarcasm aside—Malik was fantastic. Funny, chill, and knows how to mix a mean cocktail. Ask for The River Water. Just don’t sing.

Amazing views, gorgeous place to watch the sun go down. Husband had prime rib and I had the ribeye! Excellent. Love the cheese curds as well! Our waiter was also a treat. Highly reccomend! Also shoutout to Mary the hostess, so sweet!

Everything on the menu was delicious. We were seated immediately. Very friendly staff. The risotto was out of this world. Try the brie and bacon jam as well. Great views of the Wisconsin river.

Very nice view. Definitely recommend this place for a dinner with a sunset on the river! The risotto is delicious, the different fishes are all cooked the same and taste nothing special, not bad though.
Meli G — Google review
The worst dining experience I’ve had. First, the restaurant is in a dumpy Wisconsin dells hotel, atmosphere is hardly ideal for a nice date. The food was mediocre at best, we had the poutine and it was swimming in gravy skimpy on cheese curds with two thin slabs of meat on top, my wife had a Cesar salad which was a basic salad, I tried the mahi poboy and why I say tried because I spit out the first bite as it tasted rancid, worst mahi sandwich I have ever had. If you want a good dining experience I beg you to avoid at all cost because all it’s going to be is an expensive disappointment

Had their Philly Cheesesteak sandwich. That was delicious. This is one of my go to spots for a cocktails. The pink mojito is wonderful! Sunset views are fantastic.

Located in a hip downtown area, The District offers stunning views of the Wisconsin River and a menu featuring fresh curated bites. The restaurant provides quick and efficient service, with the option to order drinks in person and food through tablets at designated locations. With ample outdoor seating, visitors can enjoy a chilled atmosphere while taking in the picturesque river view and nearby shops.
This is SUCH a fun place! 3 different restaurants in one so everyone gets what they want, and it overlooks the water so there is a great view. Lots of seating and such a fun, funky, and colorful vibe, I would come here all the time if I lived nearby. They have live music so I would love to do that, too! The food was delicious- except they put half a jar of mayo on one of the burgers - we did have to scrape the majority of that off. The chicken sandwich was fantastic! Prices were very reasonable. Would still very much recommend this place.

First, I'll start by saying that you don't actually talk to anyone. You order on a kiosk, which I actually like. There are pictures of all the food items and drinks. This brings in my only real issue with this place is that when browsing the drink selection, they have RedBull listed for $5, which mind you is overpriced but as expected for this type of establishment. I click on the image, and they are advertising a photo of a 12oz RedBull for $5. Steep, but for 12oz, I guess that's okay for the convenience. What's not okay is when I get a text saying my order is ready, only an 8.4oz RedBull is sitting there. False advertising, and mainly disappointing because it's not what I expected nor would I have paid that much for, and as well as nobody there to notice, im waiting there to talk to someone. The food wasn't bad. I got a Beef Birria 'dilla and the Garlic Cheese Curds. The Birria has an interesting and distinctive taste to it, not bad but not as good as the ones I've had in Mexico(though to be expected), this would be a lot better if there was an option to have consome on the side to dip it in. Cheese curds were good, distinctively garlic. The atmosphere is top notch, in my opinion. Outdoor seating galore, Riverside view and outdoor patio bars

Interesting restaurant. You order on a screen and have to pickup your food at the kitchen but are also asked to tip. The food was fine but nothing spectacular. In case you are a parent: One of my two liked the chicken strips lol. I had the taco salad with chicken and it was mostly lettuce and minimal chicken. The flavor was good. The staff were perfectly nice but I wouldn’t really say I had any interaction with them so it’s hard to measure “service”. What makes this place 4 stars is really the atmosphere. It’s a great place to let the kids run but would also be fun for drinks with adults.

Love, love, love the birria quesadilla tacos—so much flavor!!! The fries were good, and the Freaky Fries had nice flavor too, though they could use either a few more fries or a little less sauce. Still, pretty tasty overall. A great quick spot to grab a bite!
Twins C — Google review
Food is decent. Order and pay at a kiosk and they ask for a tip. Pick up your own order with no human interaction, so tipping seems odd. High noons are 12$… wild.. restaurant across the street sells them for 8$. Great atmosphere but wouldn’t stay long if you are trying to have a few drinks.
Arissa M — Google review
Way overpriced for what you get. See pics of tiny grilled chicken tenders. Also, the "hot" wasn't even the tiniest bit spicy.
Dustin G — Google review
This is a great place with awesome food and great views. It is a kiosk order and you pickup your food when you get text messaged. Located right above the Dells upper boat tours location, it's the perfect spot to wait before you go on your expedition. Fun for all ages with great music too!
Aaron L — Google review
This was really good and a nice change of pace from all the family burger-and-pizza options around. The Nashville Hot Tenders were fantastic, and truly well made chicken. The birra quesadilla was nice, but the soup dip was not available and that was unfortunate. The bartender was really nice and beverages were much more reasonable than resort prices. I’d like to see a bit more exotic options, but glad that it’s here.

The atmosphere is absolutely breathtaking. Such a beautiful lake views. Our server Yekta was exceptional and anticipated every need. The kids menu has Mac and cheese, chicken tenders, cheeseburger/hamburger, and grilled cheese with either fries, fruit, or celery and carrots. We all enjoyed our food very much. The kids especially loved the giant pretzel appetizer.

Lake House Grill and Bar is the perfect combination of beautiful scenery, live music, good food and kind people. We visited on a Thursday afternoon and the restaurant was hosting a seafood boil. There were indoor seating options and outdoor seating options. When we arrived the roof on the upper level was closed and that was one vibe. Then they opened the roof and that was a totally different vibe. Both options were equally beautiful. The lower level was the location for the seafood boil and live music. The seating options facing the water provide you the opportunity to enjoy beautiful views. There were also enjoyable water activities such as people on jet skis and people on boats. The food was fresh and delicious. The customer service was excellent. There is also a cozy ice cream shop with gifts for sale located on the ground level. It was visibly four different income streams at one business location. It was nice to see so many people enjoying time together.

We went on a Tuesday afternoon at 2pm so it was quiet when we were there, but could definitely see how this place gets busy especially during prime dining hours. It was a great experience. Food was about $15 a person. The beet hummus is delicious!Drinks were a little overpriced but you are paying for the view. Waitress was great!

Visited while in town on vacation. Waited about 30 minutes for a group of 11, but only because we requested shade, and I feel like that's not very long at all. The bar downstairs has plenty of seating and the shop next door kept us all entertained. Once seated we found out there was a water issue, so we couldn't get water or lemonade, but the beer and other drinks were fine so we were too! The poor server handled it well and kept everyone happy, she was fantastic. Everyone loved their food. Cheese curds and beet hummus were amazing. Shrimp and crab roll was so good! Unfortunately I only took one picture of the food because the view was stunning!! Definitely worth the trip.

Great selections of food with a view. Calamari is a must to order as well as the poki bowl. The view is amazing. The entire roof reclines and you can simply see the stars. Drinks and food came out fast and they were able to accommodate our party of 14 and split the check with no issues. Steak sandwich was ok that came with fries. The margarita pizza was very thin, and tasty. Tiana, our waitress is awesome, ask for her and she will take care of your table.

First time being there. Food was good, I ordered the three napkin hot beef, I asked for no spicy giardiniera. I went to take a bite and it was very spicy. Never had a prime rib sandwich so spicy, especially when I didn't want spicy giardiniera on it in the first place. The waitress never asked me for another drink and only came and check on me and my husband once. The service was uncalled for. It was not busy when we were there. I don't think I would come back again, especially on my birthday. Thanks for ruining it especially my food

Seasonal restaurant with huge outdoor patio located right on Lake Delton. A little pricier than other places in the Dells but the view is fantastic. Haven’t had the best experience with some of the things on their menu, but I do recommend the ahi sliders, the calamari, the fish tacos and the beet hummus.

Spring Brook Resort was the perfect place for our family vacation. We loved that it was right next to the lake, had pool access to pools that were perfect for our young kids (5,3,3,&3), and plenty of space for each family. The house felt secluded, but was super close to the attractions we wanted to visit and Walmart. The kitchen had updated appliances and was easy to use. We loved all the outdoor seating and didn’t feel on top of each other. We would definitely recommend this place. We had a great vacation!

We stayed at the beautiful new Timberline! Four bedrooms (2 king, 2 queen beds) and plenty of couches for the 2 single guys. There were 9 of us and we enjoyed the spacious kitchen, huge dining table, outdoor grill and smokeless firepit. Gorgeous lighting and stone accents gave an indulgent atmosphere. Beautiful bathrooms and plenty of them. Full laundry to dry out swimwear and pool towels. Two big refrigerators for all of our stuff. LOVED it. Will be back.

Moosejaw Pizza & Dells Brewing Co. is a sprawling, lodge-like venue that offers delicious pizza and other bar eats, an arcade, and a microbrewery. Visitors have raved about the amazing food and fun atmosphere at this place. The menu includes great pizza, appetizers, homemade flavored sodas, and a variety of brewed beers and other drinks. The prices are moderate but reflect the quality of the experience.
Came here for my first time with family. Originally from Indiana. We had quite the experience here it was a nice restaurant, good food, and awesome service! I ordered their spaghetti with marinara sauce and a rum cocktail drink! It was very delicious! My sister and her kiddos got a pizza and they all enjoyed it and said it was a different experience from back at home. They loved how it was a deep dish pizza!

Love this place! Who cannot love it with a moose on a pizza delivery car? We stopped in on a weekday afternoon, plenty of seating. Kids said their meals were ok. I ordered the BBQ pizza and I would place it in the top 5 of pizzas I've had. It was so good. Portions for all meals were pretty good sized. I also had a beer flight, it was pretty good and a nice variety. Service was average and nothing spectacular. It's a bit pricey for lunch but everything seems to be anymore. Give it a try.
Ken S — Google review
I primarily wanted to go here to try their beer. I think their overall review rating is pretty much on par. Our server was helpful and checked on us a few times during our dinner. I just think the restaurant process on how the server interacts with the customer is a bit clunky. Food was better than I expected. I was thinking regular bar food, but I think it ranks slightly higher. My son loved his salmon and I think the strip steak was fine, but since it shows up on a sizzling plate, it overcooked a little. The star of the show however was the beer. I tried both Hazy IPAs and they didn’t disappoint. I preferred the Blueberry Lemon one, but both were excellent. Worth a try.
Mehrdad M — Google review
Most people would say this is the happening place on the outskirts of Wisconsin Dells but we were told to go here for the pizza and I was not impressed. There was just very little flavor to anything on the pizza. The pizza crust itself was very flavorless and there was just no spices to it whatsoever. If you like to have a thicker doughier crust then this pizza is for you. Don't get me wrong. I like a thick crust but it does have to have some flavor to it and I don't want it to be doughy. We did get there big flight for beer that you essentially get to try all of their beers that they make and that was a fun thing to do so I would recommend doing that. I think it was $28. And we only got a pizza so I'm not sure what other food on the menu would have tasted like. The food going past us that was not pizza looked really good but I have no idea if it tasted good or not. The inside was decorated fun but due to the high ceilings and lack of any soft surfaces, it was extremely echoey and just very loud. You could hear people from every corner of that restaurant. If you are hard of hearing or struggle with loud areas with hearing aids in, I would not recommend this restaurant.
Jackie C — Google review
Nice place and nice staff. Good food and good service. Decor was cool, very log cabin, with wood tables and animal mounts. We really enjoyed this place. Our group had a premium pizza, a blt, and a kids grilled cheese. All were very good. The pizza didn't skimp on any of the toppings either. Each bite had alittle of everything. And the crust was really good too! The blt was loaded with bacon and was served with very good fries. The kids grilled cheese was perfectly cheesey and served with fries. Our server was attentive. Always checking back about the quality of the food and making sure we didn't need any refills! Oh and I almost forgot, the soda! Two if us ordered homemade sodas from thier menu, cotton candy and boy was it delicious! We bought bottles to take home! We will definitely be going back!

This is the second time we've been here in the last 2 years. The dinner rush over the weekend was extremely busy, so we tried for lunch today. There was a short wait, tight quarters for walking, a decent size table and booth. Waitress seemed new, did a good job, was attentive and kind. Fish was delicious, tarter sauce fabulous, fries perfect, coleslaw was buttery, homemade soda flavorful, and pizza was okay. The pretzel bites were more like buttermilk biscuits. Beer cheese was good. It was a bit loud, probably cause it was so busy. Definitely would eat here again. I want to try the pasta!
Ani O — Google review
The food was average. It was american food prices were a bit much for what it was.But they definitely had enough food on the plate.I was not hungry after. Our waitress was Young and occupied and it was almost like she did not want to attend to us. I would eat there again if I were in the area. But it's not a place I'm going out of my way to eat.

This is one place I'd highly recommend to anyone fun out of town like me. There's really no place like this. Western, Star Wars, Lego, and train themed; you're not going to regret coming to this interesting and fun restaurant! Our waitress (Ava) was very accommodating as was the rest of this very polite staff. The food was excellent, too, by the way. All menu items looked amazing, but I went with the Buffalo burger. No regrets!!

Me and the whole family loved our experience here. Even after the 1.5hour wait it was worth it. The kids loved the train delivering some of the food items. They also loved all the Lego set ups that they have. The food was also very good! But the best was the service our waitress provided. She was very attentive and very quick with our needs. We traveled 3 days out of our way on our road trip to eat at Buffalo Phil's in the Wisconsin Dells. We discovered this place through an Instagram reel that showcased the Lego displays and the train-delivered food. We were extremely excited and modified our plans significantly to ensure we could arrive around mealtime. We arrived at 1pm on a Monday, when the restaurant was not busy, but we arrived at the same time as 2 different families. There were plenty of tables open, but the wait was still long, solely due to the hostess, whose name I believe was Ann, taking a very long time to seat each group. Each time she returned, she would immediately complain to the next guest about how far she had walked. She did not ask the family ahead of us about any table options, but she did ask us about table options, offering us only a high-top table and a booth. We chose the booth on the assumption that it was where the train would deliver food, or that every table would have train-delivered food, since that was core to their concept. We were mistaken. The hostess sat us in 1 of the 4 booths in the entire restaurant that did not have train-delivered food. It was in the bar area, but we later discovered that there were 4 additional booths in the bar area that served train-delivered food; however, she didn't seat us at any of them. We believed that all the tables with train-delivered food had been taken, and I did not want to cause a scene, so I tried to hide my severe disappointment. About halfway through the meal, I went to the bathroom and noticed that there were at least 5 open tables seated next to the train. When we were about to leave, I asked a different hostess (the one who had seated us was standing near the bar, still complaining about how far she had walked today) how to get a table with train-delivered food. She informed me that the hostess is supposed to ask every guest if they would like that option. I explained that we were not asked and that I had driven 3 days to be profiled by the original hostess, who assumed I didn't want train-delivered food. If I wasn't interested in that, why would I eat there? The food was extremely lackluster. I ordered the Buffalo Burger, which would've been mediocre at best, but the lettuce, tomato, and onion that were "placed on the side" were actually placed underneath my burger with the tomato on top, causing the bun to be soggy by the time it arrived at the table. I love fries, and theirs were so bad I couldn't finish them. My girlfriend got the fried chicken wrap, which she described as not better than any chicken wrap she's ever made at home. After we had finished eating, we walked around the property to see the Legos. This is when we noticed a couple of very disappointing things. The first being that there were now at least a dozen open tables next to the train, which just fueled my disappointment and annoyance about not being seated at one. The second thing was that the restaurant consisted of only two rooms plus the bar. The 1st room connected to the bar featured a Lego display showcasing different Lego City, Architecture, and Animal sets designed to resemble the Wisconsin Dells. The 2nd room featured a display of only Lego Star Wars, my personal favorite, with 100% of the tables in the room situated next to the train. However, it was chosen to close this room instead of the 1st room, which had only ~65% tables seated next to the train. On top of this, the Lego Star Wars room had a "Galaxy Light Show" that you had to pay to operate! This is a business offering at least a dozen different services to make money, yet they still charge to view the decor! Overall, I feel it was a complete waste of time to go out of our way to eat here. If you have young kids and are willing to make a fuss to ensure they're happy while fueling the owner's greed, then I'm sure it's a really cool place to visit, with unique decor and a large property featuring various games. Otherwise, I would stay far, far away.
Garrett D — Google review
Fun place to eat! Come when they're not too busy and ask to be seated where the train delivers food. Check out both Lego displays. The collection is museum worthy! Bring quarters and play the Star Wars light show where the Lego sets light up and have fog. Also, the food is very good. My husband and I had a burger and mini pizza, respectively. Also got some mini churros. All delicious!
Aaaa B — Google review
->food delivered to your table by train; plus, a bunch of other wild, crazy & fun stuff (western meets Lego meets Star Wars meets toy trains<- Gonna be honest; we were 2 adults with a combined age of 125 and we came here 100% for the "train delivered food" as advertised. Our ice water came on on a flat car and I couldn't wait to chug it so I could have more water delivered! Some of the food items on the menu cannot be delivered by train (size/weight restriction) so we chose our meal based on what would arrive on the next freight. We enjoyed the hot cheesy garlic bread and the burger & fries. Arrived quickly and were very tasty. (Beer does not arrive by train) For one burger with fries, one appetizer of garlic bread and 2 beers, $55 USD. More than likely, if you're looking for the best/cheapest food value, this wouldn't be it (as the main attraction here is the atmosphere...so keep that in mind) There's quite the lego-city layout further in the restaurant (we were in a booth) and most of the families with younger kids were in that area. A stormtrooper seems to be the bartender, too. Topped off my meal with a "shiatsu massage chair" which was completely worth it and I should have stayed longer! Menu prices accurate as of Sept 2025

We had the Memphis mac&cheese which is with BBQ pulled pork and the Loaded Baked potatoe which is with, you guessed it, baked potatoes, sour creme, bacon and chives. Both were delicious and creamy but completely different. They have small, regular and big daddy (large). Although busy, the food was made quickly, the staff is very nice and the restaurant is clean with a cool atmosphere. If you are in the area I'd recommend stopping by at least once!

A good mac and cheese bowl is something simple that too many people get wrong, but not here at MACS. They stick with simple ingredients that offer the best flavors and combinations. The cheese sauce is amazing, the noodles do a good job of trapping lots of that good cheese inside. They also add some additional shredded cheese on top before running it through a broiler that melts it and gives it a nice burntish taste. It also keeps the cheese underneath warm and melty. I stopped by in person and ordered the buffalo mac and cheese to go. Service was very friendly and food came out quick. I am not usually a blue cheese fan but it definitely added to the creaminess of the whole cheese making it extra tasty. There was a good amount of chicken and the buffalo did not over power the original flavors only enhanced them. The building and tables where very clean. If there where a closer one to me I would definitely stop by more.

Great casual place where you won't break the bank for lunch in the Dells. Food was excellent and exactly what my wife and I were hoping for in a Mac and cheese restaurant, live that the meal/combo option provides a salad and even more that you have multiple salad choices instead of only a basic side salad. Would recommend to anyone looking for a casual meal. Pictured: 3 little pigs mac and loaded baked potato mac.

The food was worth the hype! Very cheesy and delicious. For the Mac daddy size, it could feed 3 people. We got the Memphis Mac and the buffalo chicken mac. Memphis was the best and buffalo was not as good and too buffalo saucy.

Love it! Always a go-to when we’re in the dells every year. Sometimes we’ll even stop twice. Worth the trip, even if you’re just driving through. The carnitas mac is our favorite. Friendly staff, and quick service regardless of how busy it is.

Sarento's is a casual Italian eatery located at the Wilderness Resort. The restaurant offers a variety of Italian favorites and pizzas in an elegant gold and red setting. Customers have praised the friendly staff and delicious food, including breadsticks, mozzarella sticks, salads, Chicken Alfredo, lasagna, spaghetti with meatballs sauce, grilled blackened salmon with grilled asparagus and mango pineapple chutney.
From a different state but was in the area. Hands down the absolute best Italian we have ever had. Can definitely tell every food item is homemade. Will definitely be back when in the Dells again. Drinks were spot on as well!! Highly recommend.

Brought my wife here for her birthday dinner. We both really enjoyed it. The restaurant is gorgeous, very well decorated with intimate and romantic atmosphere while still being family friendly. My Italian chopped salad was a delight. Caesar salad came with a zesty olive and pepper. Bread sticks were freshly made and refilled before our entrees came. Our pasta was good. Loved the cake. Overall I thought the price was fair for the experience we had. Service was decent. The busboys were attentive polite and cheerful.

My favorite restaurant in the Dells! The food is always incredibly flavorful, service is fast, and wait staff is very attentive. The risotto is so delicious! The eggplant parmesian is perfect, no stringy edges! The tables are pretty close together, so if you're looking for privacy or a very quiet place, this might not be your first few choices. The food is incredibleeeee!

Relaxing way to spend a wonderful evening with your date/significant other. Food here is fantastic, flavorful in every regard. My wife and I shared two different dishes and we really weren't sure which was better, both perfectly delicious! Atmosphere is enjoyable, although in my opinion, the music could be turned down just a little. Salad's are just right, breads sticks perfect and they have some of the best coffee around. Also you get a TEAM of waiters/waitresses that tend to your needs, so everything was perfectly prompt!

The sauce is pretty much watered down and the chicken parm tasted like it was maybe warmed in the microwave. It was kind of on the chewy side and not fried. The calamari wasn’t great. I wouldn’t go back, Over priced food

We had a huge group of 14, including a few kids, and they were equal to accommodate us. Once we were seated, we had great service and the food was awesome! Lots of variety for our varying tastes! The fish fry was awesome! I had the broiled cod, snap peas, and baked potato!

Plastic in Food, Denial from Management Let me be clear: this review is not about a simple mistake. It's about a management failure so profound that it calls into question the entire restaurant's commitment to its customers' safety. My wife and I were enjoying the pleasant ambiance of Sarento's when my Chicken Marsala meal was cut short. I began chewing on a foreign object that was tough, rubbery, and inedible. It was a piece of plastic film. What happened next was appalling. After we alerted the staff, the manager approached our table not with concern, but with immediate denial. He condescendingly dismissed the plastic as "just an onion peel." I stated plainly that I had the object in my mouth, could not chew it, and that its texture was clearly artificial. He disregarded my firsthand account entirely, choosing to lecture us instead of listening. A competent manager in this situation has a clear protocol: Apologize sincerely for a dangerous kitchen error. Immediately remove the contaminated dish. Express concern for the guest's well-being. Investigate the failure with the kitchen staff. This manager did none of the above. His sole objective was to deny responsibility. Since my direct testimony was ignored, let me provide the irrefutable proof for everyone else to see. The attached photo shows an object with: Artificial Transparency & Gloss: It's a perfectly clear, manufactured film, unlike the fibrous, translucent nature of a biological material like an onion. Sharp, Polymer Folds: It holds stiff, unnatural creases that a soft vegetable membrane never could. It is, without a doubt, food-service plastic wrap, likely from the chicken preparation. To add final insult to this negligence, after I ceased eating my meal for obvious safety reasons, the restaurant made no offer to replace it and charged us in full. We did not argue, choosing to leave rather than endure further disrespect in a crowded room. The most dangerous part of this experience wasn't the plastic in my food; it was the management culture that chose to deny and conceal a problem rather than solve it. This isn't just unprofessional; it's a betrayal of the fundamental trust a diner places in a restaurant. This establishment's leadership failed to handle a critical safety incident, and future patrons deserve to know it. Dine here at your own risk. Visited in 09/20

The atmosphere is divine, the food is fancy enough to warrant a higher price point, and there are just enough options on the menu to keep everyone happy. What Sarento's lacks: Attentive wait staff. Our waitress was seen a total of two times, once to order and once to say hi. Our water-pourer became our waiter, basically. He was attentive as all heck, and in hindsight, we absolutely should have left the tip for him instead. All-in-all, it's a good place to have a fancy date, if you're in need of one.

Some friends traveling through choose this place to meet up and have dinner. The menu has many options and daily specials. The food was very good and our waitress "Candy" was excellent! I was a little taken back by the bartenders inability to acknowledge a new arrival sitting in the bar stool with money out waiting to order a drink. I truly understand a full bar and what it takes to make everyone happy...but at the very least in one of her 8 times in passing me if she could have just said " Hi, I will be with you shortly" then a guy would know she wasn't just ignoring him...other than that I will definitely return to eat here again.

I had a mushroom and cheese burger. It was delicious came with fries and coleslaw, which was good. The atmosphere is very rustic very nice laid-back and right near the river. Prices were very reasonable unless you get into the steaks and then it got a little expensive.

This place surprised us!.the vibe is so casual. The staff are vey friendly. Our person is Erica. She’s very attentive, making us feel at home. Her service is impeccable. Look for her. The food? Ah! They serve generous portions and were all cooked to perfection. My husband did the Sunday special chicken 4 parts. My son did the club sandwich and I did the fettuccine. My husband’s chicken was crunchy outside and moist inside. The chicken came w fries, veggies and bread stick. Huge plate! It looked really yumm! My son’s club sandwich came with coleslaw, fries and pickle. He loved them. My fettuccine had grilled shrimp which were succulent and very tasty. And the whole plate was generously smothered with their cheese. I had bread stick on the side too, which by the way was warm and ohhh so yumm! Our party of 3 was only billed $54! I had to look twice. That huge plate and yummy food, would cost $100+ in Chicago! Boy am I glad we picked that place on our last night in Dells. And oh the atmosphere of the place is very rustic. Beautiful Wood everywhere! And aquarium everywhere you look. Proudly reflecting what Wisconsin is about. Eating in that place makes me feel the spirit of Wisconsin. That of warmth and caring, expressed through food. River Edge Pub & Grub is my pick of the day! So proud to do this review.

Special on Monday night was 10 oz. top sirloin, choice of potato, dinner salad and bread sticks for $22.99. Steak was cooked to order and served piping hot. Waitress was super friendly and constantly refilling drinks and checking on customers. Had the cheese curds for an appetizer. They didnt appear to be homemade but possibly frozen ones. Still tasty but not the homemade cheese curds I was expecting.

Apparently a local favorite. Not much to recommend it though. Very standard fare; rustic decor. Salmon filet was the best part of the meal. Battered french fries also good. Mango salsa not so much. Veg medley meh - frozen & tasteless. Interesting to watch the fish in the large tank. Fair for the price but won't come again.

I’m a first timer at this restaurant and I’m big on Mexican food! It was very delicious. I ordered their camarones ala diabla and a malibu pineapple cocktail! Best authentic mexican food I’ve had! We don’t have good food like this back in Indiana. Also great service as well much appreciated!

Very nice Mexican restaurant in The Dells. We've gone there twice for breakfast only and will be back for dinner one day. The food is very good, especially the Machaca. Huge dining area that is beautifully decorated. Big menu and very nice staff.
Michael W — Google review
My husband, kids and I went to Jose's last night, we specifically wanted to check out the kids menu, to see what they had to offer. My kids age 3, 5, and 6 ordered the cheese sticks with fries, and a cheese quesadilla with beans and rice. The cheese sticks had a crazy long cheese pull and were crispy on the outside. It was served with ketchup packets on the side and a good amount of fries. The quesadilla was small but crispy and enjoyable, my daughter favored the rice over the beans, but I tried the beans and they were delicious. We all enjoyed the chips, white dip and salsa that was put at the table, and had asked for some to go as well. My husband and I tried the cheese enchiladas from the a la carte menu. You can choose between red and green sauce so we tried both. The green sauce was very salty, and delicious. While the red sauce was mellow, and savory. We loved both and two of them each filled us up. We ended our meal by playing the claw machines with our kids by the front entrance. There was a play till you win rubber duck claw machine, and a play till you win candy machine. Both were a big hit with our little ones for a quick 1 dollar prize after dinner. Service and environment was great, there wasn't many other people dining so I can't say what the experience would be on a busy weekend. But we will definitely be back, especially for the white dip and chips!

Walked in skeptical , large menu is usually a red flag for me. The food was delicious had the quesabirria and cocktail de camaron. Delicious, I usually have to fix my cocktail it but it was perfect. Only questionable item was the cheese fries with bacon, presentation could’ve been beater and the cheese was too watery. Mariachi on Saturdays came by the table and played a couple songs, don’t forget to tip your mariachi! Sang beautifully. They also have an Inhouse photographer that sells a photo with two key chains for $25. Good price compared to Chicago just for a photo. Overall good experience, our waitress was amazing, ticket time was great. I’d definitely come back again when I’m in town.

Our go to place for food when we come to the Dells. Celebrated our daughter's birthday and the mariachi guys came over and personally sang to her. Been to all 4 of their locations and service is great every time we go. Only down side is the dish size of the ranch for chips, should be same size as salsa and beef in the nachos tend to be quite greasy and puddles under chips

It was our first time eating here, and we arent disappointed. The atmosphere is very inviting, and service is very timely. There wasnt a child's menu offered to us, so we shared and had an ala carte item which was absolutely alright. We will definitely be back when we visit the Dells again.

Went for a later dinner while in the Dells! Due to ridiculous road construction it is really hard to get to, but it IS open, so definitely still go! Service was ok, our server was in a big hurry to get our order, so even though we asked for a few minutes, she kept coming back, so finally we just ordered! Chips and salsa and some creamy dip are all served when you sit, they were DELICIOUS! My hubby had the Taco Salad, delicious! I had the shrimp enchiladas covered in a cheese sauce, also very good, shrimp was excellent and the cheese sauce good, but very rich! The rice was good, the beans were excellent! We ordered the fried ice cream for dessert! It was good, but the ice cream was so hard it was hard to eat and it was covered in so much whip cream it was deceiving, it looked big, but was actually about 1/2cup ball of ice cream. It was still good, just smaller. Prices are a bit pricey, but it’s in the Dells! Reason for the 3 stars….waitress was a bit pushy in hurrying us up. We left at 7:39, they close at 8, but had started cleaning while we were eating and whatever cleaning product they use was overpowering and did not smell good with the taste of my fried ice cream. They also had already mopped the front entrance and even though they put up wet floor signs, this definitely makes you feel like you’ve over stayed your welcome and is probably a bad idea for overall customer safety. We will probably try them again, maybe earlier in the day!

I visited with my husband and two boys while we were on vacation. We ordered a pretzel, cheese curds, a thin crust pizza, and pizza without a crust. Everything tasted amazing and the staff was very attentive. This place seems very family oriented. My boys, who are 5 and 8, raved about the food all the way back to our hotel. We also enjoyed the decor. We are from Michigan so it was fun to see some sport attire from some of our favorite teams hanging on the walls! We will definitely be back when we come back to the Dells!

Wisconsin Hospitality at its finest and amazing food to top it off. If you're in the Dells this is totally worth the 10-20minute drive and a family friendly getaway from your getaway. She wanted wings, the kids wanted "food", and the Milwaukee style pretzel caught my eye as I always wanted to try one. My fiancé wanted to try a sample of a couple beers to decide what she wanted and they brought them out in miniature frosted mugs. This wasn't even for a flight mind you this was for a 0.5oz-1oz taste test. The owner came out with the pretzel (bigger than most people's head) and it was made perfectly and as soft as marshmallow all the way through, moist, and the beer cheese dip was perfect. The Munster cheese curd were genius creamy variation on the fair style cheese curds you normally get (cheddar). The traditional bone-in wings also pleased her and she is picky about her wing. The kids loved the boneless wings and burger as well. We also got an order order of haddock with the potato pancakes just so we could all try it and I have never seen such a perfect coated paper thin breaded fish, and it was so juicy and tender than you didn't even miss the tartar sauce and the potato pancakes were just like grandma used to make. I've eaten at Gordon Ramsey's Fish and Chips in Las Vegas and this is twice as good for half the price. They don't have a massive menu, or "fancy" dishes, but they go the extra mile on everything they do and it shows!

Delicious food, very friendly staff, we returned our second night in town—both times for dinner. You can’t NOT order the giant pretzel with cheese sauce, and the cheese curds were melt in your mouth good. And best cole slaw—shredded and creamy sweet, even beats my favorite KFC.

The Most Awkward Bar Ever We walked into this place thinking it would be like most Wisconsin bars — friendly faces, easy smiles, that small-town warmth that pulls you right in. But the vibe was off from the start. Cold. Judgy. The kind of place where you can feel eyes on you the minute you walk through the door. I was just taking it in — the photos on the wall, the layout, the history tucked in every corner — trying to get a feel for the place. Then I noticed some younger regulars snapping pictures of us. Seriously? Total bullshit. So I did what anyone with a sense of humor and a camera would do — I took a picture of them instead. It was one of those moments that makes you realize not every “local” bar has that Wisconsin welcome. Some just have walls, drinks, and people too wrapped up in themselves to let anyone new in. The bartender and place was alright but the locals or whoever were not welcoming.

We walked in about 12 PM on Labor Day. There were maybe two other tables seated inside. We noticed 4 out of the 5 booths were not bussed. Not sure how many people were sitting outside. We ordered drinks, me a Diet Mountain Dew and my wife a mango nojito. I got mine after about 10 minutes and the server said my wife’s would be right out the bartender was a little backed up we waited another 20 minutes before the server asked how we were doing. We said she hadn’t received her drink. The server didn’t apologize, just said I thought you had gotten it. Our food came out before her drink. The food was really good my Gyros Salad had a good amount of meat on it and my wife said her Wisconsin burger was good, she just felt like they went light on the sauce. When we were paying with the handheld machine the server was staring at me typing my tip which was low because else were still charger for the drink we waited 30 minutes for. The only reason this got three stars is because the food was solid.

This place was great!!! Food was amazing and the staff was very friendly and fast service. I had the blackened ribeye and wedge salad and it tasted so good. My son had the prime rib with mushrooms and he ate almost all of it and said it was cooked perfectly. The rossotto was tasty also. My daughter loved the salmon and ate every bit of it. Wonderful meal.

The food was mediocre for such a high priced restaurant. I was expecting more of a chef experience, but the food and sauces were disappointing. We ordered the prime rib (It was very tender) and the grilled shrimp with lobster sauce. The sauce was so thin I couldn't even see it on the fettuccine. I had to ask for extra because I didn't believe there was any on it. Once I poured it over it was better, but still not chef quality. We ordered the chocolate dessert and it was good.

The appetizers were fast to come out, and our food was all great quality and delicious. I had a steak while my husband had the Lobster Mac&Cheese. I would eat here again in an instant. Yuriel our server went above and beyond to refill drinks, grab tiny drink umbrellas at the kid’s requests, and left us with helium filled balloons and bracelets at the end of the dinner. A true “wow factor” to top off an awesome dining experience. Thanks, Yuriel.

We were a bit disappointed with our meal, even more so once I looked at my receipt. Our waitress really didn't know the menu and wasn't honest about charges. She did encourage us to look at the drink menu but I wanted lemonade. I asked if there were flavors and she said no. After we received them and had been left by our waitress I did look at the drink menu and there was a wonderful sounding lemonade on the mocktail menu. If she had known there was a lemonade on there, she could have pointed it out and sold a more expensive drink. Ordering our steak was painful. We asked for the saturday prime rib special and she asked about a different steak. I said, no, the saturday special. I ordered my sides, which has always been 2. Mashed potatoes and jasmine rice. She said it only came with one but that it came with mashed potatoes. OK, I said I wanted mashed potatoes but she said it came with one more and I said, yes, the rice. She even went so far to go to her manager and then come back to say it comes with mashed potatoes and asked if I still wanted them. I said, yes, mashed potatoes and rice. If it comes with mashed potatoes and one more side and I order mashed potatoes and rice, why is this an issue, even onto go so far as to check with the manager. Then she offered onions, mushrooms or both. We hadn't been offered this before and I asked if it cost extra and she said NO, so I ordered. I didn't think anything of it. She didn't print our receipt and was going to just show us her screen but I asked for a printed copy. I didn't read it too closely, my mistake but I saw I could scan the qr code and lay that way, so I did. When I went back to the digital receipt, I see we were charged for the onions on my steak as well as the mushrooms and onions on my husband's steak. I wouldn't have ordered them if I'd known it was extra, she said it wasn't. And to top it off, our steak didn't even come with the au jus that it's supposed to come with. I saw other prime rib come out with au jus. It would have helped since our steaks were slightly overcooked. This might be our last saturday special and visit.

It was definitely weird being in a nightclub setting during the day. As someone who's never been there before it was confusing to find Bobbers. We weren't the only ones in the parking lot looking around confused. We were ok with walking around to try to figure things out but we watched others give up and leave. Once we figured it out and got to eat some lunch we were happy we tried. We had the lobster tail, it was cooked well. A bit on the pricy side but it is in the Dells. It was a treat for my husband and I. A day getaway from home. The place was clean, only a couple of people were there for lunch when we arrived so it wasn't loud. Wait staff was nice and on point. Nothing really to complain about. Great job.

Top notch service and food. We arrived after a large party had been seated and had to wait quite a while for our food but were compensated and had several employees consult with us and apologize for the delay. The food was worth the wait!

Very large portions for the price! We chose cheese curds as an appetizer before our meal. Ordered the Sunday special of chicken and ribs and one side. Four large pieces of fried chicken and a half slab of barbeque ribs and for my side I chose curly fries. Had enough to bring home for a second meal. Service was great. If you're hungry this is definitely a place we'll visit again soon!

The food was so good! The portions humongous. We went on a Saturday night at 5:30 and got a table right away. My mother-in-law got the Double BLT minus the middle piece of bread. I have never heard anyone say in my 50 years, that they couldn't finish a BLT! I did tonight. Matter of fact none of us finished our food . I got the Special , smothered french dip with curly fries. I shared both things and still ended up taking it home. The meat was flavorful and the onions and mushrooms were perfection. I was not crazy about the cheese it kinda over powered the other flavors. But I would still order this again. My grandkids got a cheesy cheeseburger, kids pizza and corn dogs. All of them full for the first time on our trip. I would definitely stop in for a meal. However, socially distance is not something you should expect, it's a small place with tables close together. But the good news is they do to go orders!! Definitely recommend this place!

A little expensive (on the main drag in a tourist town, so it is expected) but big portions and a big menu. The food actually was pretty tasty. My pulled pork sandwich actually came with an extra cup of pulled pork which I didn't really know what to do with. Sweet potato fries were real good. Kids meal options were ample. Stage indicates they must do live music, there is plenty of seating, and there is also a bar. Biggest negative was the cleanliness, particularly the kids area. Everything was a little sticky, and the kids area was visibly grimy. Street parking can be hit or miss. Service was friendly but unenthusiastic.

Rustic country barn craft decor. Friendly staff. Portions insane. They have a double burger for 12$ that claims to be two 1/2lb patties I think it was more than that..cooked weight.. juicy smothered with mozzarella and bacon. Their turkey or was it chicken..? Club was a perfect vehicle for the 1/2lb of bacon they served. I was disappointed that one of us decided on the grilled cheese which was just ... a grilled cheese but the amount of fries compensated nicely. Wait staff was knowledgeable about their menu offered suggestions and I wish I’d seen the French dip in person. All in all, I’ll be back. If I ever get hungry again. I need a nap.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! The food portions are ginormous! 😍 And taste amazing. The bread pudding is to die for, a must order item! We came here for breakfast and it was quite busy. Not a good place to come if you're short on time. Great place for families, elderly, and kids.

It's strange to say that the pictures do not do the food justice. I was very impressed with the quality of food at this great local spot. Ownership rocks, staff is great. Food... amazing. The pictures include a dynamite cut of rare Prime Rib, and the other is Loaded Hash Browns... I believe. Saturday night dinner, and return Sunday for breakfast. The hashbrowns weren't even mine, but I had to snap a pic. I'll be back with more mouths soon. Eat their meat!

My family and I ate here for the first time on Friday night. It was really good! The deep fried cod was delicious, and was definitely more than I could eat. I had enough left for another full meal. The service was good, the wait on the food was minimal, all in all a good experience. When our waitress heard this was our first time here, she said we had to come back and try breakfast, and then went and got breakfast menus for us to look at. We will definitely be back! The photo is what was left AFTER I finished eating!

Brat House Grill is a relaxed sports bar and eatery situated in a former church building. It offers a diverse menu of burgers, sausages, and sandwiches. The establishment boasts ample indoor and outdoor seating suitable for groups of all sizes. The venue has an inviting atmosphere with the added charm of the classic architecture. Despite the strong smell of bleach from weekend festivities, it does not affect the taste of the food. The menu offers a wide variety of delicious options for both food and drinks.
Had the ham and bacon jelly sandwich and it was amazing. We got a waffle tray, was big enough for the entire table. We will be back for sure. Kids loved it.

Brat House is always a MUST any time we are in the Dells. The brats are amazing, of course, but you really can’t go wrong with just about anything there. I definitely recommend trying the pretzel appetizer. We had friends from Georgia with us once and I suggested getting the pretzel, and my friend wasn’t too keen on it saying soft pretzels are kind of boring. I told her since we’re in Wisconsin, she should give it a try. She loved it, and told me a week later she couldn’t stop thinking about the pretzel! The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The restaurant feels homey with an eclectic variety of tables, chairs, and seating locations. You won’t regret going to the Brat House!

Definitely one of a kind place. Historic building. Lots of brats. My son enjoyed the electic playlist. Homemade chips didn't feel like processed food in my stomach. They have a corner for karaoke, and maybe also for live music.

Brat House Grill in Lake Delton is a casual restaurant that serves classic American fare. The menu features a variety of brats, burgers, and sandwiches, as well as sides like fries, onion rings, and coleslaw. The brats are the star of the show, and they're cooked to perfection. The fried ice cream is another must-try item on the menu. It's a sweet and satisfying dessert that's perfect for sharing. The atmosphere at Brat House Grill is laid-back and family-friendly. The restaurant is spacious and comfortable, and there's plenty of seating available. The service is friendly and attentive, and the staff is happy to answer any questions you may have. Overall, Brat House Grill is a great place to enjoy a casual meal with friends or family. The food is delicious, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed. It's a solid choice for a laid-back meal.

Went because we were driving past. Best meal we've had in the Dells. Service was awesome...friendly, helpful...and the food! Only thing we regret was filling up too fast and being too stuffed for dessert. Already planning our next trip to correct that!!

Food was amazing. I'm not sure how something can be both authentic and unique, this restaurant seems to have mastered it!! The Bratwurst - done in so many different ways we decided to stop counting, lol! I got a brat that was their take on a Philly Cheese Steak - but make it Wisconsin! Also on the table were the Potato Pancakes, and we took home two orders of the Brat Mac n' Cheese to other family members. I'm telling you - it was all good! The cheese sauce on the Philly - most bars would just dump some canned cheese on top and call it a day, but no! Not in WI, and certainly not at Brat House - that cheese sauce is DIVINE! Our server was super friendly. It was a busy time of day when we came in, and he was super attentive anyway. It ALSO ended up being Karaoke night! How fun! Great DJ for that - very entertaining.

I was in the Dells for a little vacation with my husband for my birthday/our anniversary. Our last stop the night before we left to come home was The Brat House. It was absolutely one of my favorite places of the whole trip. Julian was our bartender and immediately I knew he was gonna be a great one! Takes one to know one lol. The food was so delicious I had the German Sampler and that BEAST Brat was phenomenal! That's what originally peaked my interest on the menu. Watching the brewers play on that enormous projector was so awesome. All the patrons were friendly and also seemed to be highly enjoying themselves as were we. So thanks for a night to remember Brat House. We will defintely be back!

This is a fun little breakfast place. They don't have a lot of seating but we didn't have to wait for very long. Parking can be a little tight. Some people had to park on the street . My husband and I shared a veggie omelette and a sweet roll. We ended up taking the roll to go because the omelet was so big then we were full . One of the teenagers in our party got the strawberry pancakes with whipped cream. She said it was delicious. Overall, I would say that this is a good value for your money.

Our family of four are here on vacation and we came here based on all the strong reviews and ratings and we were not disappointed. We were seated immediately and our server was friendly and attentive and made sure we had what we needed throughout our meal. Our coffee and water was kept full throughout our time here are we were offered to go cups for our coffee and were brought fresh and full cups to go - a nice touch. The food was fresh and hot and came out much faster than we thought it would. Hash browns cooked to perfection, everybody's eggs cooked perfectly, pancakes tasted amazing and biscuits and gravy were something to write home about (I make my own from scratch and they are in high demand but I have to admit - these were better 🤫). After the meal, the Manager stopped over (always a good sign at a restaurant) and chatted for a bit - great friendly guy! Thanks for a great breakfast and overall dining experience - will definitely come back next time we are in town.

Had breakfast here and honestly, it was such a great experience. The staff were super friendly—greeting us with big smiles and constantly checking in to see if we needed anything, but never in an overbearing way. It felt really welcoming. Double Cut Steak House is a modern and family-friendly surf 'n' turf restaurant with a stylish dining area and cocktail lounge. The staff is friendly, providing good service. The oysters Rockefeller and Clint Eastwood drink were delicious starters. While the steaks were good, they weren't as tender as expected for the price, and the menu is à la carte. However, the porterhouse and filet were cooked perfectly.
Great service, very attentive waiter. Steak was just about as good as a Ruth’s Chris steak. I would personally give it a 4.9. I had the Banana pudding cheesecake and it was delicious! Was cheaper than Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse also. I would definitely recommend for a romantic dinner with your significant other, or birthday/anniversary dinner. Definitely would come back again!

Really amazing food! The portions are nice and the sides were to die for. I had a salmon and my partner had a shrimp pasta and they were both delicious! Good food. Sushi rolls are great, steak is great all the food is great. The shrimp angle hair thing wasn't my flavor . This place is comfortable and doesn't require dressing up. We were so excited to visit this place. It definitely met up to the hype! We had excellent service by Mallory. The food was all so delicious. The buttered board was great with the baked fresh bread! The tomahawk ribeye was cooked to perfection!!! We will definitely be back!!

We arrived at 4:30, with a reservation and could not believe the beautiful aesthetic! It is breathtaking in there. So romantic. My husband and I shared the porterhouse, and added the side sampler. You can choose 3, we chose asparagus, creamed corn, and truffle fries. Dinner was served with bread and butter, topped with black mineral salt. We ended this meal with the crème brûlée. On top, it was like maybe supposed to be whipped cream? But it was hard, and mildly unpleasant. That was the only really minor issue. Once removed, it was perfect. $130 later and we are full, and happy. I would go back, should I return to the Dells.

The lack of music was great for having conversation at the table. Our server was great and everyone in our 6 person group had a great meal. The wine list could benefit from a few more non-California selections but their bottle prices were reasonable . I gambled and ordered the sushi platter and it was very good.

(Stayed in the wilderness, not kalahari) Great place, went to it twice with my mom and dad the first time and then with my 12 (at the time, now 13) little brother went the second time. He didn’t get anything though because he doesn’t like beef (idk he’s weird) but the second time I split a dry aged (I’m pretty sure) tomahawk with my dad. It was great, but I had too much. I ended up getting the meat sweats, which are 100% a real thing. It was worth it though. The first time I think I got a ribeye, idk I might have short-term memory loss, whatever it was was great🤷 I was full for like a week after lol Might go while we’re camping next summer, it’s only about an hour away (we go camping at hickory hills in Wisconsin, good camping place, a lot of bugs though, might go into more detail about that another time) Also I have no pictures of food from there but I have some pictures of my dog (rip 2019), so have some pictures:) (little brother in some of them with some of his Christmas presents when he was like 7 or something)

She was bright and happy even so late at night, and was happy to take all of our orders quickly and even come back so we could use restroom. Our food came in 15 minutes and was fresh, hot, and delicious. She brought boxes, extra take home syrups and containers of ketchup for our leftovers. I’m a server myself and i was very impressed with her service and attitude especially at that time of night. Thank you Melanie!!!

We were seated within 10 minutes. Food was ok. Steak was sweet( I don't think steak is supposed to be sweet). Our server was very helpful and attentive They should fix their patio door. It slammed every time it closed. Also one more thing for the staff to be mindful that when bringing food out they should not put food against their clothes that's very unsanitary. Staff was very mindful of eating area cleanliness. But overall the experience was okay

We ate breakfast here twice on labor day weekend, the staff were amazingly resilient under the pressure of that many people. Especially big families with multiple kids can be hard to serve but they did great. I could see they were all exhausted but they kept serving with kindness and I appreciate that so much. The food is always at some standard here so no complaints. I’ve tried the gluten free Belgian waffle this time and the texture of it was pretty amazing, the taste is a bit more savory than I like but overall cannot complain.

Worst IHOP I have gone to. Update: Took 12 min to be greeted by server. We are literally at the front behind the restaurant greeters, so it would be hard to miss us. Update: Our server was cleaning tables, passed by us multiple times. Update: Table next to us that came 12 minutes after us already had their drinks. Update: We got frustrated and was about to leave, then our server (who was cleaning a table right beside ours, stopped us and took our order. Update: Had to ask staff to get our drinks, as 10 more minutes had passed. Got food 5 minutes later. Food was good though. Server gave us the check a few minutes later, probably knowing we wanted to leave as soon as we were done. Still tipped, but dang.

I had a gift card to Ponderosas that was 20 years old. I haven’t been up in the area in what feels like a couple decades. But I was on a trip up there recently and happen to be in the area and used the gift card. I got a steak and partook in the all you can eat buffet. The gift card seem to give them troubles but they still honored it nonetheless. I am happy to say that Ponderosas is the same great restaurant it’s always been so give it a try if you’re in the area and need a bite to eat!

I haven't ate at a Ponderosa in years because all of them are gone where I live at but this one was pretty good. The salad was really good and they have fresh fruit which was a plus if you're looking for something healthier. I tried the pot roast and it was kinda tough. Usually pot roast is falling apart if it's cooked right. Everything else was good. This particular Ponderosa seems like it needs a little improvement on the outside.
Eclipse M — Google review
The food was good, service was ok. My only complaint was the spacing of the buffet. All the sauces and Foods were far back to reach and you would have to grab other Foods over other foods and some of the food would fall into the other food and the ends of the handles were literally sitting in other foods and people were digging into grab them which is not very hygienic.
Tyler M — Google review
Wanted to try Ponderosa while visiting the Dells mainly because I havent seen one in 30 years. While it wasn't outright bad, it wasn't good either. Ordered the ribeye for 28 dollars which also comes with the salad bar. The salad bar wasn't bad. It came with pizza, tacos, macn cheese, a form of meat loaf, chicken. The steak was not that good. About one third of it was fat. Not to mention I wanted medium rare and the steak was medium well. I can see why there aren't many of these around anymore. The service was decent. The waitress kept our drinks filled. So overall not great and not bad, hence the 3 stars.
Ron R — Google review
The food tasted delicious, but my husband and I both had to run to the bathroom twice before we left the food did not agree with us. I don't think it was food poisoning but something wasn't right. The ceiling looks almost like it has black mold on it. Ponderosa was in our hometown in Michigan most of our life until about 10 years ago so finding this one was nostalgic for both of us.

I am going to be honest, we were hesitant to go because the place looks a little scary from the outside but we decided to give it a try. Sorry the picture. I had one egg and a piece of stake and I took the picture for write this. their waitress was friendly. The dish was so good. I especially loved their crispy toast. My husband and I stopped in for breakfast. Inside the restaurant was very small. There were maybe 10 tables. There was only one bus person and our table hadn’t been cleaned yet. We didn’t sit too long before our waitress arrived to take our drink order. He ordered a diet soda and I had a cup of coffee. We asked our waitress a few questions about the menu items. She was very nice and helpful. My husband decided on The Duke, with bacon and a sausage patty, minus vegetables. I had the chorizo skillet. The menu didn’t say it came with vegetables, but it was full of freshly prepared vegetables. If you don’t like vegetables in your breakfast, ask when ordering. The food was good. It was really a homestyle breakfast. We both liked what we chose even though I had to pick out the peppers and onions.

The food was okay. I got the beef stuff special. It's their roll with essential beef stew on top minus the potato.. it was very reminiscent of a beef pastie I got in Michigan. This however didn't live up. The bun I am not so sure was fresh. I found it doughy and dense. The beef and gravy was great but the bad part was frozen vegetables.. they just sucked. My wife got the breakfast big bun.. it was huge. But lots of pre made items cooked and on top of this bun that is supposed to be the special. Again. We were not impressed. It wasn't bad just not the great experience we hoped for. My son got the county fried steak with fried potatoes. It was good. My recommendation is stick to the traditional fare. That was what the regulars seemed to do.. go. It's not all bad. Just not the expectations I had.

This diner is Wisconsin Dells hidden gem. So glad we tried it. Friendliest, most attentive staff and the food was delicious! Such fresh ingredients. The owner/chef even came out and sat and talked with us for a bit after learning I grew up and had been to his restaurant he owned in Brookfield. Extremely reasonable prices as well and some patriotic decor. They back our military and police which I love! Do yourself a favor and check them out.

We had high expectations and left severely disappointed. It was over priced, I received the wrong meal (and it wasn't taken off the bill) and our food arrived 15 minutes after our kids. By the time we got our food, our kids were done and it made for a miserable time. I ordered a meat skillet with ham and over medium eggs and got a ham omelet (if I was paying $13 for an omelet I'd have more than just ham in it). My fried potatoes were great though and real (not the pre made frozen ones almost every place else has). I didn't try my husband's, but he said the has was just mediocre and was the stuff right out of a can. My 1 year old also found a piece of meat right after we were seated and was chewing on it 🤢 It definitely was not worth the $93 for 3 kids pancakes, my (incorrect) omelet, has and 1 bloody mary. Also, while cute, my daughter didn't think the minnie mouse pancake looked like minnie (I'm not judging that too harsh, it was better than I could have done. My son loved the sponge bob though).
Allison B — Google review
The staff was friendly. The food was decent. They offered SpongeBob pancakes for the kids even though it wasn't on the menu. There is pretty limited seating since the building is quite small. I also thought the drinks were overpriced. A kid size juice was 3.75 and coffee was 3.25 each. It certainly has the vibe of a old fashioned small town diner.

We love this place! The food is awesome, and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed meeting Cory and Iron Chef Guy, and Miss Ashley gave us the grand tour of the Dells. She even correctly guessed our zodiac signs once she got to know us. Guy blessed our meal, and everything tasted amazing -- especially the stuff'd burger. We can't wait to come back and get double-stuffed next time we're back in the Dells.

Words cannot describe this place! Christian family atmosphere & staff, delicious food and good size portions at a very reasonable price. This was our first time here but will be our new GO TO DINER. A+++++ the best diner in Northern Wisconsin!

Denny's is a casual diner chain known for serving classic American comfort food, with a focus on all-day breakfast favorites. The Lake Delton location stands out with its nostalgic decor, featuring midcentury souvenirs and even an Elvis figure in the front window. Despite the lively ambiance, many patrons return for the big, gooey cinnamon rolls. While some incidents have occurred near Denny's locations, this does not detract from the overall dining experience at this establishment.
Our waitress was really nice and attentive. Food was quick and perfect. Hash browns were actually salty enough that I didn't have to add more! Thanks!
Dragonbird S — Google review
Used to love Denny's, but this place is a bit of a joke. It was not very busy, had to wait for the waiter for at least 10 minutes, and a table seated shortly after us got waited on in less than 5 minutes. The food came promptly though. Hashbrowns were burned, toast was hardly toasted. Pancakes for the kids came out with no butter, the syrup bottle had to take the top off just to use it, toast tasted microwaved. The waitress was less than inviting. Wanted to ask for water...however, our waitress never came back by to check on anything. I thought water used to be given at the beginning. Probably will not be coming back and the "15%" they automatically charge for 5 guest or more is not appropriate! Only good was the pancakes.

This was my first time eating at a Denny's! The waitress was very prompt and the food came out extremely quick, which was surprising considering we were a party of 8. I'll be honest in saying we were very cramped. The food was ok. I doctored up my eggs and hashbrowns. My son loved his pancakes. The crepes.. best part🤌 I also got a really cool mango tea. Sure, I could've made the same thing at home, maybe even better, but we were on vacation
Lynnae G — Google review
As a local I've been coming here for a longtime and 98% of food is great. Suddenly the hash browns started coming out terrible. It is like the cook has no idea how hash browns should be prepared. As a breakfast staple, good hash browns are a must. If I find it corrected I will reply back but until then if you like your hash browns... Avoid!
S2 R — Google review
One of the worst Denny’s I have ever been to. Hashbrowns were cold and raw. Eggs were terrible. Not sure how you mess up scrambled eggs but the cook did. The server was very unmotivated as well.

Was down in the Dells for the family summer vacation trip and stopped at this Denny's for breakfast one morning. Some of the best service I've had at a restaurant. The waiters (don't remember their names but it was a young man and a woman who helped us) were on top of their work, very attentive and had great attitudes, made for a enjoyable visit. Food was prepared well and was good. Since it was/is vacation season, lots of families were there but no crying kids which made for a good atmosphere and visit also, haha. LOVED the Mango Smoothie, was very tasty 😋.

The Wisconsin Brew Pub, located within the Kalahari Resort in a relaxed tavern setting, offers an array of American cuisine and beverages. With multiple televisions for sports enthusiasts to enjoy their favorite games, this brewpub is a popular spot for both food and entertainment. The menu boasts a variety of options to cater to different tastes, including delectable chicken wings, salmon teriyaki, and a spicy chicken sandwich.
Considering we were a group of 7 I was delighted to see they had seating accommodations available for us with no wait. Everything came out in a timely manner from our appetizers to the meals. I do feel prices are a tad premium but I did expect that! We had a resort credit and felt it was well used here! Great experience!

Went to the brew pub on a stay at the Kalahari with my family on Easter Sunday. Pros: - Plenty of TV's with various sports. - Kids menu with some good options. - My entree of chicken straps was really good. I liked the corn bread as well, very tasty. - Server was friendly. - Bathrooms were very clean Cons: - upcharge of $3 for fries is a bit much. - The cheese curds were terrible. The absolute worst I've ever had. I'm from Wisconsin and have had many cheese curds. These were way over cooked and barely had any cheese.

Got here late but were still seated. Great service by Eric. He made sure our meals came out perfectly and was very attentive during our whole meal even though they were closing. Cheese soup was really good. Fish and chips, top notch. Fries perfectly crispy. Wish we had room for dessert, milkshakes are off the chart! Highly recommend.

Im a local resident and Brew Pub has the best Burgers in Wisconsin Dells Area even better than Culver's. I got the American Burger with the fries and it is always amazing. I also decided to try the The Pub Chili that comes with fresh corn bread and was also amazing. All the food was so fresh including the veggies that came on the burger.

Service was VERY slow. They had many open tables plus a wait, which led me to believe they were understaffed. By the time our table was greeted we were ready to order our drinks, appetizer, and meals. It took over 20 minutes for our appetizer to get served and our food came not long after that. The cheese curds were some of my favorite I've had. The tater tot nachos were good. And out shake was pretty good, but ice cream in the cookie sandwich was already melting by the time we got it.

We had Natalia and she was an amazing and sweet server. The portions were larger than expected and food was delicious. Drinks were also amazing, I recommend the baileys grasshopper. Shakes are huge and yummy.

Decent place. Expensive and serving size does not justify the price. Lots of TVs and service was good when it was my family. When I went with a group of 10, we had a long wait for drinks and to place our order. Understandable to some degree, but 25 minutes to just take our drink order is a little drastic. Food was delicious, just small portions for price.

We enjoyed this place. We really loved the shakes. My parents enjoyed their chili. I like the burger I got with the cheese curds on it. My husband enjoyed the salmon. My kids enjoyed the chicken nuggets (which were a good size for my little ones!)

Applebee's Grill + Bar is a popular full-service chain known for its casual atmosphere and hearty American cuisine. While some customers note a more corporate feel, the restaurant continues to innovate with new food combinations and specials. Service experiences vary, but attentive servers and knowledgeable staff contribute to positive dining experiences. The establishment also offers fast service during happy hour and caters well to families with responsive servers. Overall, this particular Applebee's location exceeded expectations, providing good food and efficient service.
Our server was so great. He said it was his first day, but he did amazing.

We were seated very quickly and ordered our drinks which we received quickly, but then it went downhill quickly. I ordered chicken Tortilla soup and it was terrible. It tasted like mush..we also ordered 2 orders of boneless chicken wings because they were out of Mozzarella cheese sticks, and onion rings which was ok. It was late evening. The problem was the appetizers were served without eating utensils and plates. By the time we received it the chicken was cool. The biggest problem was the celery sticks looked like it was pulled from the ground and served to us. It even looked like a bug was on it. Not sure if it was or not but you be the judge of it. Picture attached. By the time we got our utensils our main course came. Our boys enjoyed their burgers but I was trying to figure out, how do you mess up cooking chicken tenders! The entire meal was terrible! The only thing I was grateful for is they comped our entire bill. It wasn't a great experience at all! We definitely WON'T RETURN!

No host when entering, waiter finally came and seated us. Ordered the 2 for $25 steak meals, but waiter came back, said they were out of 6 oz. sirloins so we upgraded to 8 oz. for and additional $3 each. Very good salad. Steaks (4) were all way over cooked, the medium rare orders were well done, and medium orders were dried out and tasteless. Waiter never checked back on how our food was. Mashed potatoes were delicious. Did get 10% off but was not because of the poorly cooked steaks.

I came yesterday, and Michelle was an experienced hostess. What made me come back today is that the fast service and food tastes great. Today, as I needed more details before submitting this review after this new experience, what was overwhelming... We came in the happy hour frame, and the hostess redirected us to the bar to be served promptly, but I've noticed some other customers were leaving the establishment because they were not served fast enough. Management should care to train to their employees about basic staff service as I was attract to the happy hour and it was great but the lack of assertiveness it's giving the bad reputation to this business but Luis, the bartender took care of us and was attentive to the new customers. Sadly, the other staff is not having the energy today to care for a wave of new people in town as it's Wo-sha-wa festival. Luis, attention to detail should get him a raise and the credit of multi-tasking to gain some customers and don't leave angry reviews. Applebee's in Wisconsin Dells, train your staff better so they can enjoy working here and making money. If you want fast service, start at the bar, and don't get lost in the middle. If you see something, say something!!!

It was so cold inside, everyone there was wearing their coats. It sort of looked like there was maybe 2 servers for the whole restaurant so I felt for them. The food was very underwhelming. I got a steak and my boyfriend got the four cheese mac n cheese with honey pepper chicken tenders. Steak was really overdone and potatoes were dry but it was edible. The chicken pasta was not good at all. There was also a HUGE rip in the booth we got sat in. We spent 60 dollars there and I wish I would have saved every penny. 😔
Dayna D — Google review
Stopped in for lunch and two of us decided to get the all-you-can-eat soup, salad and breadstick lunch. The lettuce on the all you can eat special seemed old like it was sitting out at room temperature for quite awhile. It was warm and rubbery and no where near crisp and fresh tasting. We had the tortilla and french onion soups which were just ok - nothing special. Since it was all you can eat, we asked the server for another soup and breadstick right away to get our order in however it still took some time before it came out. I would assume the soup is already prepared so dishing up another one shouldn't be too much effort. I thought the waitress was pleasant and overall did an ok job. All in all however, this dining experience does not measure up to the Applebees I remember from 10 or so years ago. It almost seems as if this chain has seen it's better days.
Mark M — Google review
Food was good, service was good, but slightly understaffed so it could have been a bit faster. Great waitstaff and support crew, they even took time to do the Happy Birthday cheer!
Kurt H — Google review
We got here at 430 and there was only one table with another family. We heard the manager talking on speaker phone to her family as she was rolling Silverware and then complained that another employee was getting all the tables. The staff was very unprofessional, loud, and rude to each other. Our waiter, Gerard, was the saving grace for why I gave 3 stars. He was genuinely working hard and was very friendly. This place was only taking cash, they were out of shrimp so couldn't serve anything with shrimp bc their computer wouldn't allow them to make revisions to an order. I would not recommend this establishment.

I recently visited the Sand Bar at 130 Washington Ave, in Wisconsin Dells, WI. It was a quiet day when I got there shortly after opening. The bar/restaurant is very clean and has a nice bar where I ended up sitting watching TV and talking to another nice guy, named Greg. I was served tiny and we had a nice discussion on beer. I inquired to what I should order and the choice was a delicious steak sandwich. Very tasty.

We love coming here, especially on Fridays. The staff during dinner are always so pleasant. They remember us and always take extra care of our little man by bringing him a coloring book and even some fun little toys here and there. The food is always good and the atmosphere is always positive. Couldn’t recommend this place more for a good bar and grill experience!

This is the spot to go if you want to escape the downtown tourist traps. The Sand Bar is a real-deal, old-school dive bar with awesome, cheap burgers and strong drinks. It’s nothing fancy at all, just a solid local hangout where you can get a great meal without the Dells craziness. Just a big heads up, it’s cash only, so make sure you hit an ATM before you go. If you're looking for a no-frills, genuinely good burger and a beer, this is the place.

Excellent service and the food was fantastic. Start off with the garlic cheese curds! A steak sandwich whose recipe hasn't changed since the 1950s, excellent flavor. I had the fish sandwich, I added some cheese and sprung for the baby bakers. Our server Tommy was amazing! Two thumbs up!!!

Great service & lots to choose from. Saturday is prime rib night! Everything from fresh salad bar, pizza, meatballs, taco bar, fajita bar, beef with broccoli & rice, chicken & potato several ways, salmon & shrimp.

Now that they moved the buffet downstairs they charge almost double the price for less than half of the selection. Bland food with cheap fillers like pasta, pizza, bread, salad. I remember when the buffet was upstairs. They had all you can eat crab legs and prime rib for $21.99, what a deal! They had a decent selection of food like ribs, chicken, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob etc. You get the idea. Bring back the prime rib and crab legs and you'll get your business back Ho-chunk.
Rancorous — Google review
Stand Rock Buffet at Ho Chunk Gaming Wisconsin Dells (3214 Highway 12, Baraboo, Wisconsin 53913) used to be an excellent buffet, especially on Friday nights when they had a large selection of seafood (all types of fish, shrimp, etc.) in addition to everything from chicken, spare ribs, large salad buffet, massive dessert section, etc. They charged $13.99 on Friday nights which is a reasonable price. I live in Madison and would make a day trip centered around eating there on Friday nights. Early in the summer of 2017, when they started the remodel, they raises the price for the Friday night dinner from $13.99 to $18.99 and cut the selection of almost everything, especially the fish selection, to almost half of what it used to be at the $13.99 price. Did not make sense except getting greedy since they have a captive audience of casino players. Went there last week and the selection is still half of what it used to be and now they are up to $21.99. The selection is terrible and the price is massive for what you get. Will never go back there again!!! Now on my day trips I return to Madison and eat at the Journey Buffet where they charge $12.99 and have a massive selection of sushi, Chinese food, and seafood. May times more selection and better than Stand Rock in every aspect. See my review of the Journey Buffet. They may have upgraded the restaurant but selection, quality, and price are still terrible compared to what they used to be prior to 2017. Stay away!!!

I love eating at buffets but this one was one of the worst I've eaten at. I was hoping getting there for dinner at 5:30 PM was going to give me a pleasant dining experience--was not the case. Low quality food at a premium price. Half the selection of items compared to other casinos. Most of the dishes was far from flavorful. Fruits were old; watermelon's texture mimic'd raw meat.
Fong V — Google review
This buffet used to be amazing BEFORE the remodel, but now it has half the selection it used to with double the price. The food was poorly prepared too, like buffet meets school cafeteria. It’s disappointing because any time we came to the dells we tried to stop by for dinner here, but this last trip was so unacceptable that I highly doubt we’ll ever go back. Seriously, old country buffet is probably much better than what this place has become.

Very poor quality food. Fruit flies buzzing the food, staff dressed in t-shirts. Food not labeled and if it was labeled you couldn't read it because of being black on black. Basic classic pizza. We needed 3 large to feed my hungry family of 6. No leftovers. I did not care for the flavor of their sausage. Having a dairy free or vegan option would be amazingly helpful, but I know atypical of this sort of place. Nice remodeled, not fancy. Booths.

Not bad but nothing impressive. We both thought the pizza was flavorless (and honesty a little difficult to chew). We rated the breadsticks better than the pizza. We were originally expecting a sit down, full service restaurant with authentic Italian dishes and pizzas. We knew once we entered and saw we had to order at a counter, that this would not be what we were expecting. I think this played a part into why we were disappointed from the start. I would try again but go with the hand tossed pizza - diverting from the crispy tavern crust.

On their first evening at Mulligans Bar & Grill, located in Christmas Mountain Village, the group drove to the resort for dinner. The youngest member of the party was celebrating his birthday and insisted on having a hotdog, while the others ordered a pizza. They ended up with two pizzas due to a previous misunderstanding with their order. After enjoying some cake for the birthday celebration, they gathered around a campfire to listen to Campfire Kevin playing guitar and singing.
The food here was honestly better than I expected. I got the chicken alfredo and it was soo good. I was a little upset by the broccoli, it was hard. But everything else was perfect! Its a little cold in the restaurant and the drinks are limited. The drinks that we asked for, that they ended up not having were Coke and Sweet Tea. When you first walk in im the restaurant there's a tiny Starbucks. Which I thought was pretty cool. And out the window there's a gold course and the ski lift.

The food was a 2/10 for bar food; uninspired chicken tenders and fries while the the nachos was cheap canned cheese over chips sprinkle with shredded lettuce. The beer is 1/10, the selection is okay but you can taste the dirty lines... We sat for over an hour without seeing the server and finally had to ask someone else to close our tab because the original server had left, that process took another 20 minutes. Of all of the great places to go in the Dells, skip this place and actually enjoy your evening somewhere else.

Like most it’s bar food at best. Prices are okay, but kids meal prices are way too much at 12 bucks a meal and barely get anything with it. Drinks are okay priced , tapped beer is fine but dont order mixed drinks as they are not good. Overall fine food but over priced and plenty of better places to eat in the area.

They had malt vinegar! Plus they actually knew what it was! The food was great. A definite do over. We went for the Friday night fish fry. The cod was crispy.i got sidewinders for my potato option. There were a lot of them. The restaurant is a good size with views of Christmas mountain ski resort. This is a cool place to bring visitors. Staff was friendly and worked as a team. We will definitely be back. Want to try other things on the menu.

Our first night at the resort we drove here for dinner. Our youngest was celebrating his birthday so he insisted on having a hotdog while the rest of us ordered a pizza. The pizza was fine and we actually ended up with two since the first order there was a misunderstanding and the waitress caught it before bringing it out to us so just told us we could start on the first pizza and the correct pizza would be out when it was done baking. We then shared cake for the birthday boy. Afterwards we headed out to the campfire and listen to Campfire Kevin (of I got the name right) at the guitar and sing. When they was done, were headed back in for some jello shots.

I rarely write reviews, but after reading all the negative feedback, I felt compelled to share my thoughts on Ivory Coast restaurant. My family and I had breakfast there and we were blown away by the amazing food. Not only were the portions generous, but the flavors were outstanding. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the exceptional service provided by Jose. He had an incredible sense of humor and was incredibly personable. I tried their dinner, breakfast twice and salad. Food overall score was good, staffs were friendly and it had a great design and atmosphere. If you like hot coffee to be hot, make sure to ask for "extra hot" coffee because until it gets to your table it wouldn't to be cold. For breakfast I highly recommend Avocado & Tomato Benedict!

So first impressions were good. The patty melt that my friend got was solid, lots of red in it though but I prefer that so I didn’t mind finishing it off. The Tex Mex Salad was really good. We got it the next day because we enjoyed it so much. Both of our first times were really solid. We decided to come back because it was just convenient and we had two good experiences before- for some reason our server was maybe tired or half-asleep but he kept forgetting stuff. Not a huge deal but I had to get up and leave the table twice to ask for service (e.g., refills, a cup of ranch, etc). Here is the REAL kicker- and I wish I would have taken a picture- but I’m pretty sure the manager checked the film bc it took over twenty minutes and I think he left the restaurant to check- I received a legitimate piece of wood in my House salad. Like a piece of a tree from the outside world- under my lettuce. I removed it and ate my salad because it was still a salad but hilariously we were offered a new salad after our dinner had basically already concluded. We kinda said we didn’t need another salad so the manager provided a free dessert and we cordially accepted but I re-thought it later and asked if it would be too much of a hassle after all is said and done if we could try the other one and he kinda made it seem like it was a big deal and told me he could do a “half of one,” even though I think he ended up giving a full order which was really nice. The nachos looked like the variety that you could make at home with Tostitos and shredded cheese- def not worth $25 in any restaurant even with Chicken. The mac and cheese was served cold for the kids but the fries were good. The chicken was a bit chewy on the wrap. The fries were probably the only consistently good part all three times we came. The desserts they brought put their other food to shame. Both were amazing and left us with a better sense of a good meal. Very appreciative to the manager to correcting such a weird and unique error on the chef’s part. Overall this could be a really nice spot- I’m not sure what happened tonight. Everyone has tough days. By the end of the meal it was all good. We’d probably come back again. 👍🏽

I woke up before the rest of my crew and came down here to grab some breakfast by myself. The food was wonderful and came out in less than 10 mins. That being said, there were only 3 or 4 other tables there at the time. Coffee was great and they left a little carafe on the table so I could refill as needed. My server, Alejandra, was very attentive and answered my questions. Items are a little pricy (not too bad, the most expensive I remember seeing was $18) but that is to be expected at a resort restaurant. It was a little noisy but as a said before, it’s located in a resort. For those who would be interested they also have a full bar you can sit at. Overall wonderful experience here.

Our first time early dinner and Joseph server. Lemon butter haddock, Cajun fettuccine w chicken, patty melt. The food was wonderful and service great. Two times to breakfast with server Alejandro and Kimberly. Great service and food. Ham and cheese omelette, pepper bacon Benedict, waffle & cup of fruit. Returned next day for almost same bkft.

They were able to seat a party of 8 in about 10 minutes, which was impressive during a busy night. Our server, Romain, divided the checks for us and everything was timed very well. The food was pretty good, although my halved patty melt was a little lopsided so one half was mostly bread and the other half was overflowing with the burger. Also, we didn't have enough napkin rolls or catsup for our table, but it was easy enough to get them by doing the ol' grab-off-another-table move. The kids meals are reasonably priced and the cheeseburger looked particularly good. The mac n' cheese was standard fare, and the chicken nuggets were gobbled up by their connoisseur. They also have a good beer selection, including New Glarus Moon Man.

We had breakfast here, I do NOT recommend it at all, it’s what you’d expect from overpriced basic resort food. Our server was very nice tho.

Great service, good appetizers, and strong drinks! All cheap prices during happy hour. Need I say more? I ordered the chicken happy hour appetizer with a rum and coke. The chicken was moist and cheesy with a nice slice of tomato and a great garlic sauce on it making it very tasty. The rum and coke came out tasting strong but very flavorful, would actually of ordered more if I was staying at the resort because you can't beat that $4 price. Staff were very proffesional and polite. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area.

Wintergreen Grille & Bar is a breakfast and lunch restaurant located at the Wintergreen Resort & Conference Center. The restaurant offers a spacious and clean dining area with friendly and attentive service. Guests can enjoy a variety of options including a breakfast buffet with all the basics, as well as delicious menu items such as pancakes and crispy hash browns with onions and cheese. Additionally, the buffet provides an all-you-can-eat option that is considered a good value for the price.
Loved it here! Had us sitting down right away. Our waiter with a nice icy chain on was sweet and attentive. Our food was delicious! They took cc and debit cards aside from cash. Highly recommend.

The absolute best pancakes ever! We showed up around 830, good time if you like it a bit quiet, by 915 it was a full house! Menu has a very good variety!

I believe this place opened in 1978 and it looks like it is still there. French toast and pancakes were undercooked. I loved the fresh squeezed OJ. The staff were great, just mediocre breakfast.

Stayed at the attached hotel. Ordered takeout for breakfast. It was $27 total for both of these orders + a cup of milk. Buffet all you can eat looked more appetizing and seemed like a better overall value. Pictured is a breakfast sampler of some sort and a order of French toast. Although the french toast looks substandard I was told it had a good taste. The hash browns were also very good; I was expecting them to be dry but they were moist. Overall, I would go back!

Stopped in here on a late Sunday morning for breakfast. We were seated immediately, and our waitress Katie was extremely friendly and pleasant. I chose the buffet, and my husband ordered The Morning Sampler. The gravy for my biscuits and gravy was very good, but the biscuits and scrambled eggs weren't as fresh as I'd have liked, understanding how difficult that can be in a buffet situation. My husband ordered his bacon and hash browns extra crispy, which they were, but he said his scrambled eggs too didn't taste as fresh. This is a large restaurant with lots of seating and not a bad place overall to stop for a bite if you're visiting the Dells with friends or family.

Great family atmosphere, food was well priced and delicious but took a little long with very few customers. Our server Katie was great, she wasnt intrusive but didnt neglect our table or service at all. Definitely 5 star place for me. (Try the bloody mary)

Better than Dennys, Cracker Barrel and McDonald's. It ours familys to go to for breakfast. French toast is amazing. Kid meals are about $6 bucks for a lot of food. They offer a breakfast buffet for about $15 a person. Small little resturant, a little outdated but good food and portions for the right price.

One of the best country style breakfast places I’ve ate at. From the service to the food I give them a 5 STARS ⭐️ Not to mention the fluffy and sweet pancakes. The place is very clean and the bathrooms were spotless. Thank you Wintergreen bar & grill We recommend this place over Denny’s and Cracker Barrel We will be back
