Good place to go to if you are looking to cater your Indian food craving! I find it is good to have this place in the region besides the Indian restaurant which is in Green bay. We had the lunch meal and it was alright, the chicken vindaloo definitely needs a better taste, seems like a lot of added food color and the spices level were quite low (seems like it was made to cater the American taste rather then the original, as the original vindaloo would never taste like this). Although the some of the other items were good! We need to try other things on the menu next time to see how it is.

Delicious, authentic Indian food 🔥 Probably the best in the Appleton area. My tandoori chicken was SIZZLING when they served it. I loved the flavors, and the spiciness was spot on. Thank you. I'm going to come back for more!

Had very great service. First time eating here. First time trying Indian cuisine out. Our server explained the food dishes very well 😋 Also asked us how spicy we wanted our plates I went for a 3 on the Curry Chicken. It was just the right amount of spice for me. The favor in the Sauce Wow made me speechless Very nice place to take the family out.

Food was delicious!! Lema, our server, was really nice and took care of us (a group of 12) all by herself! The restaurant was also really busy so she was absent sometimes but I totally get and understand having a ton of table to take care of! Atmosphere was pretty good too. It smells amazing in here with spices! Overall I definitely would recommend this place!

Major nostalgia as the quality and taste of Indian food remained unchanged aka delicious & mouth watering even after 7 years ~ balanced blend of spices, softest bread and cottage cheese cooked to perfection ! Great propertion,aesthetics & staff are extremely hospitable! 💯 recommended 💫

I went here during the evening after a conference and it is phenomenal food. I've been to other Indian restaurants where the lamb tikka masala is very tough and not worth ordering. Not so here! We also tried the shrimp masala which was also great! The service was a little slow which I hate to even knock it because I can see them intentionally not wanting to crowd you while you're eating, but our food had arrived and I was still waiting on my mango juice. Honestly though, a minor gripe. I would not hesitate to eat here again! An excellent restaurant with excellent pricing.

One of the best I've been to in Wisconsin. Authentic flavors. Great selection and value. Especially their lunch menu with 2 entrees for $12.50 you can sample your favorites.

Great place to stop for dinner and drinks before a show at skyline comedy club! They have some fantastic beer options, but their food is excellent. I’ve been blown away with the few entrees I’ve had. The Fried pickles are also goated.

Awesome! The back entrance is really cool, old historic building. Then you descend into an old school German style rathskeller. Beers were all excellent as was the beer cheese dip. Can't wait to return!

Love the literal rock and stone, the dim lighting, and unique layout of this brewery and restaurant in a building that seems among the most sturdy in the world. There's even a comedy club on the 3rd floor. Stone Arch craft brews were very good, the food is hearty and tasty

Awesome historic building. Pleasant "cellar" vibe. Well rounded beer selection. I recommend the Pilsner and the Dry Hopped Saison. Super tasty Shepherds pie. And amazing daily soup specials. Really friendly staff and patrons. Well stocked back bar.

Really cool setting and good food. Beer is pretty good too! First time in the area and was not disappointed. Came during a slow late lunch time, just for a snack, but service was excellent and food was fast and hot. Thai chicken pizza was unique and delicious. Daughter had chicken tenders from apps menu and they were great.

The fried pickles were pretty good, a little juicy but still crunchy. The sweet potato fries were delicious and the Biergarten salad was also delicious - I added chicken. I didn’t love the jalepeno pineapple margarita, it was a little too Smokey flavored for me. The atmosphere was fun and medieval. Our waitress Hannah was very kind and attentive :-)

Great food; the Scotch Eggs were a wonderful appetizer! Fun, old building that's been restored makes for a great ambience. Our server must have been new, because there were a few small errors and reminders needed. However, she had a fun attitude about the night.

Enjoyed the AYCE Friday fish special. It took a while but that was mostly owed to how many times I ordered more pieces. ...Which was a lot! Great menu and staff. This supper club is large, but everybody and their brother will show up before too long. Big carryout business as well.

Mark's East Side is old school--in all the right ways. I love Jägerschnitzel, and while that dish may be better at OB Brau Haus, Mark's is very good and is perhaps a better value when drinks are factored in. $6 for an Old Fashioned? Yes! I was disappointed with the red cabbage. It was cut too thick and it wasn't mixed well. Also, the liquor was so-so, which I don't recall being the case when I visited several years ago. Did they make an unfortunate change? Still, while I'm not saying you couldn't do better than Mark's, this remains a solid choice.

We went to WI for a quick trip and my husband’s family took us to eat here twice - 2 days before and on St. Patrick’s Day. Their corned beef and cabbage was the best I’ve tasted at a restaurant that busy! The food was delicious, the service was excellent and they have super creative drinks that chat are LwYs changing. I’m still eating my Irish Car Bomb cake. 😋

I did a last-minute research on top best fish fry restaurant in Appleton, and this was the number one on my search. So we went and drove straight with our starving tween daughter, and we're so happy we got a seat a few mins after we got there. Staff were so knowledgeable and friendly. Definitely love their service and the food. Thank you.

​My friend and I were in town for the Packers game and were looking for an authentic Wisconsin experience. The locals told us to try a supper club, and we ended up at Mark's East Side. ​The vibe was exactly what we were hoping for—it felt like a normal Midwest dinner restaurant with a neat, old-time 1920s-ish atmosphere. The service was great and welcoming from start to finish, which really added to the classic feel. They also had some interesting non-alcoholic options, and I regret not trying the pumpkin pie mocktail I saw on the menu. ​The highlight of the meal was the French Onion Soup, which we both agreed was incredible. We split the prime rib for our main course; it was cooked well and had decent flavor. It wasn't the best I've ever had, but I would order it again. ​Overall, this was a very good experience and I'm not disappointed. To set the right expectation for others: don't expect the most amazing meal you've ever had, but you can expect a solid, authentic supper club meal. While I'd probably try another place if I'm ever in Appleton again, I'm very glad we came here. It was a perfect introduction to a Wisconsin tradition.

First time here and We WILL be back the next time we are in Appleton! The food was amazing; better than amazing. My husband had the Reuben soup which he said was delicious some of the best soup he has had. I had the French Onion which I would say is now in my top 3 of some of the best I have had. For main dish my husband had the corned beef and cabbage which he said was better than mine or his grandmothers.... I'm not offended I tasted it and I will surrender it was delicious. And for only real German food I have had was when my husbands grandmother cooked. I had the wiener schnitzel with half potato dumpling and spaetzle and sauerkraut. I learned I like the dumplings better than spaetzle and the only sauerkraut I like is on a Ruben or new york style hot dog or the sauerkraut balls not alone or plain. Also learned red cabbage better then sauerkraut. But with this being said even though I didn't care for it all I tried it and it was good and I did like the wiener schnitzel and everything was delicious. We had the sauerkraut balls as an appetizer those were really good that's why I included them in the three things I would eat sauerkraut with; Now my husband loved them especially with the horseradish sauce. For drinks my husband just had water since they only serve Pepsi and he is a die hard coke fan. Now I had the pecan Russian it was good, strong but good in flavor. We will be back for sure, there were a few things on the menu we both thought sounded good for next time. Our server was great, friendly, knowledgeable of menu, and very helpful, and patience. And as I said we will be back

One of the last great German Restaurants left. We just found it by accident on our way home. Glad we stopped. Great Schnitzel.

The first thing I noticed was the absolutely stunning view of the river. I think the atmosphere of the brick building really rounded out the visual experience. However, the real star of the show was the food. The freshness of the food and the care in which it was prepared, made for an unbelievable dinner. The staff was friendly and answered all my questions about the food and the history of the building and the downtown area as a whole. I would not hesitate to go back.

Let's just say.... spectacular!! I am so excited to say they have revamped the menu and all their ducks are in a row, as I have patronized this establishment during covid and was not very impressed, however I can now say that we will be returning!! The chicken tenders are amazing, the entrees were very portion friendly and fresh, and the desserts were incredible. The ambiance is very special, however can be a special occasion or just a nice meal. Pricing was very budget friendly and service was outstanding.

We had an amazing dinner here last night. We were able to make reservations on Open Table which was really nice. We were greatest by the host who kindly gave us a window seat. The beautiful view was of the dam and the raging Fox River. Lots of fish and water fowl to watch. Our server, Morgan was super. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about his job. We had the delicious bread service with their homemade butter. Next we had the Wagyu meatballs and butternut squash soup. Both were excellent. There were so many great menu items to choose from it was difficult to choose. I had the scallops annd corn risotto and my husband had the penne pasta with chicken. Compliments to the chef and a big thank you to the supporting staff! Great job by everyone! Thanks for making it a very enjoyable dinner. We will be back!

I had the pleasure of dining at Fratello’s, and what a delightful surprise it turned out to be! Despite being in a smaller city, this restaurant has clearly earned its spot on the map, especially with its Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for 2025. I wasn’t expecting such an extensive wine list here, but I was truly impressed. It’s a rare find in Appleton to see a restaurant with such a broad selection of wines, and while the markup is noticeable, the quality and variety are well worth it. The Food:
I was treated to a recommendation from Jimmy, a friendly bartender originally from southern Maine (my neck of the woods), who suggested the walleye. The fish came perfectly cooked—sweet, tender, and with a crispy panko crust that added a delightful texture. Paired with a unique twist on a Caesar salad, which was served as individually dressed bib lettuce leaves, it was a refreshing take on a classic dish. The Service:
The service was top-notch. TJ, our bartender, had a big, welcoming presence, providing a touch of elegance that set the tone for the evening. TJ noticed within milliseconds that I needed attention, even without any sort of signal. This is a man who exudes professionalism. Both Jimmy and TJ made the experience feel personal, offering insight into the wine selection and helping make the dining experience even more enjoyable. The Wine List:
I can’t emphasize this enough—the wine list is incredible. The wines are priced with a distinct markup, but I felt it was well worth it to explore some unique bottles I wouldn't normally encounter. It’s not every day you get to enjoy such a variety of wines in a smaller city, and Fratello’s has clearly made an effort to curate a collection that stands out. The Atmosphere:
The restaurant’s setting is another highlight. With a stunning view of the falls and abundant wildlife in sight, the ambiance is peaceful and scenic. The crowd here is interesting, and while the menu is elegant, it draws in a mix of locals and visitors—many of whom, like myself, are likely coming for the impressive wine list. All in all, I was thoroughly impressed with Fratello’s. Whether you're there for the unique wines, the amazing food, the incredible service, or the breathtaking view of the falls, it’s definitely worth a visit. I’ll be back for sure. ***update on 27July*** Delivering a good experience can be a one off opportunity. So tonight, I broke all of my rules and went back to the same place two times in one week. I can state, unequivocally, that Fratello's is a repeatably consistent place that I can highly recommend.

The atmosphere is amazing. The service was top notch. My steak dinner - ordered medium was served medium rare and cold. The pat of butter didn’t melt. The red pepper side dish was also cold. The Brussel sprouts were super hot. I ate it all without complaint because it was delicious. My son’s walleye was big and meaty with a beautiful panko exterior but there was zero flavor to it aside from the lemon juice. We finished our meal with a tiramisu (yummy) and french roast coffee (give it time to brew). Side note - this restaurant has a separate gluten free menu.

Came here for Valentine’s Day had a very nice time. Great staff, food and service. Made a reservation in advance was a great atmosphere and tasting menu. Can’t wait to come back!

We went there for our 35th anniversary. Never been there but a friend suggested it. My wife and I had appetizers,main meal and desert. Also martinnis and red wine. The food was amazing. Some of the best food I have ever eaten. Service was very professional and food came out in a timely manner. We had very Nice window seating . It was an excellent experience.

Just perfection! We celebrated my husband’s birthday at this wonderful restaurant. The food was prepared perfectly and beautifully presented. Our waitress was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Everything was top class. We wished we lived closer but regardless we will visit frequently.

We have been going to this restaurant on and off for the last year. I called to make a reservation and left a message on the answering machine as they were closed. The return call was the most rudest conversation I've ever had with any restaurant. The woman was condescending, snarky, and mean. She told me they will not take reservations between 7:00 and 7:30 which were the time spots I needed. She told me that I could only do 6:30 or 8:00. Those times would not work for us. I told her I didn't understand why they couldn't take reservations during that time and she explained that that they could not as they would not have tables because of the reservations from 6:30. If they have reservations available at 6:30 they could just make one for seven or 7:30. Not a chance apparently. So I asked if I could just walk in during those times if they don't take reservations and she said no I can't very rudely. (We have come here between those times and the restaurant is half empty) She explained to me that she doesn't understand how I don't understand how they don't let anybody in during those times. I was speechless. Absolutely speechless. The food is very good which is why I didn't leave a one star. I do not know the lady's name as she did not give it but if this is the way the staff is trained, I would avoid this restaurant. There are many other fine establishments you can go to in the Appleton area without the condescension and arrogance.

I been coming here for a long time and it's amazing the one time it wasn't perfect they made it perfect by taking my dinner off the bill and hooking us up with dessert on the house. I always go for the steak! But everything there is amazing.

Beautiful scenery for a very plain gastronomic experience. We were so excited when we sat down. The atmosphere was exceptional and unique, being like in one of those British clubs, jazz in the background, and Gregorio our waiter very friendly and fun. The menu presented amazing food options but we ended up waiting too long for the food that showed up and was like frozen food quality. Served cool not entirely hot and fresh and some plates really lacked substance. The wine not excellent but for the price ($90) on twist tap bottles. In general plain food and wine at outrageous prices in a superb atmosphere is what you’ll find here.

Food was phenomenal, I had the lobster Mac n cheese and the serving was huge. Easily two people could’ve eaten out of it and still take leftovers. The service was a bit slow, especially when it was time to get the check. 30+ mins to get it. Let’s just say that he was lucky a gratuity was added to the bill. Food was great, but it was a one and done experience for me and I’m sure for the rest of the party on that table.

A group of 10 of us traveled out from MN for a bachelor party weekend. This was our nice night out dinner and every one was very excited. The vibes are top notch for a steakhouse and a football fan. The bartender was amazing and very friendly. We got seated at our table and thats when the fun stopped. Our server Debbie was very passive aggressive right out of the gate. She seemed very annoyed to have to serve us, even tho the restaurant was near empty. Debbie treater our table as if we were all ordering waters and sharing cheap apps. She gave vibes that she hates her job. Before we even got our food, she was asking how we wanted checks and was giving a lot of attitude about how long it was going to take her to split checks. It was a total vibe killer with her attitude. Again, excellent food. Granted it took 2 hours start to finish, but Debbie killed the experience for our entire group.

We had Sarah as our server and she was outstanding along with the food. The highlight was Sarah’s knowledge of speciality drinks and wine selection. Last, our Lava Cake desert selection was spectacular! Only downside was the hostess, who was not very welcoming and seemed to be watching tv when we arrived. When interrupting the show, she was a little put out. Also, the first table she gave was by, what appeared to be, the bathroom. Anyway, Sarah made up for the difference.

Great Atmosphere! Very friendly Staff, our waitress was Kim D. The steaks were amazing, tender flavorful and juicy. The sides, Brussel sprouts and a baked potato were equally as good. The desserts were decent, but didn’t feel they were worth 100% of the price. Dessert prices were also missing from their dessert menu. All in all I would give them a fair 4/5

food and drinks are good but are both pretty overpriced. Paid $15 for a Wisconsin style old fashioned with rail whiskey in a rocks glass. It is possible to find comparable or better food at better prices elsewhere in town.

A good variety of food on the menu…but the food was very blend…wasn’t cooked for the Asian taste…the flavor of certain dishes wasn’t there. There was a little hint of it only…like the papaya salad did not have enough shrimp paste or fish sauce in it. The pho had clear broth….with hardly any condiments for it.

The Basil Cafe is one of the most reputable restaurants in Town. For me, they were amazing with just one issue - The protein quantity in dishes could definitely improve. 🍤 Started off with the Tom Yum soup , chose the protein as Shrimp - Excellent but the soup had 2 small shrimps. The broth of the soup was one of the best. 🌯 The egg rolls were delicious, crunchy and flavourful. No one does it better than them in Fox Valley for me. 🥘 Pad Kee Mao - Yummy rice noodles with chicken. Ordered this as Spicy but still needed additional chilli oil as the spice was sub par for me. 🍚 🥭- Mango Sticky Rice - Unfortunately the least favourite part of the evening, I was trying this dish for the first time and didn’t like it. Not a restaurant specific, I feel this isnt my cup of tea. Ate the magoes off it 😂 Overall, Basil Cafe as always scores high on ambiance and service along with good food. — eating dinner at Basil Café.

We live about couple of hours away but we always come to Basil Cafe whenever we're in town. On this visit, we ordered calamari, egg rolls, beef pho, pad thai and avocado bobba tea. We loved all food and drinks except for the egg rolls... we're Asians so we have had all sorts of egg rolls, and this one is underwhelming. Meanwhile the yummy calamari came with sweet chili sauce, but this sauce we usually pair with egg rolls. So we asked for vinegar instead as dipping for calamari...which made it taste better. It would have been better if the vinegar came with spices like onions and peppers, but we deemed it was too much to ask so we just settled for the plain vinegar.:) Overall, it was a delightful experience and we had a food coma after. LOL! We were so famished we forgot to take pictures too!

Absolutely delicious food. The spicy basil with tofu was loaded with tofu, flavor, and just enough heat. I would definitely return for more.

Best Asian food in Appleton. The service here is unmatched. Great people who truly care that your meal is everything you hoped for. And you need to try the Nutella dessert option. It's incredible.

Food was good, but note that spice level is fairly weak. I ordered level 3/4 and it could have definitely been spicier. I’d order level 4 if I come back. The Pad Thai was alright. The Pad See Eew was delicious!

Best Lao and Thai we have had in such a long time! And we have had it in many states across the country. My partner and I were the only Asians in the establishment. We thought maybe it was going to be a lil watered down or Americanized. But everything was flavorful, fresh and on point. My taste buds were dancing in heaven. In addition, the establishment was clean and beautiful. The staff was also very kind and friendly. I hope this place many years of business and success. I will be coming back!

While visiting Appleton, we had planned on having lunch at another pizza restaurant. But when we got there, there wasn't a single car in the parking lot. On a Saturday. At lunch time. Even though the sign in the window said open. So we got on our phones to search out a different place to go. That's when we found Stuc's. The reviews were good and it was fairly close to where we were. So away we went, off to Stuc's. GREAT decision! We had the veggie pizza on thin crust and added pepperoni. Unlike most pizza I've had, they lay the pepperoni down first and cover it with the sauce, cheese and all the other ingredients. The pizza was so tasty this way, and the crust was thin and very crisp, just the way I like it. Our waiter, Oliver, was very personable and attentive, and made our visit memorable. Next time I am in Appleton and wanting pizza, I will definitely go back to Stuc's!

Good mood food indeed! I have never been disappointed with any meal here and can't stop singing their praises! Went outside of my normal pizza and tried the Chicken Pompeii pasta, huge amount of mouth watering chicken with tomato sauce, cheese, basil, sun dried and roma tomatoes and pasta. My Aunt had the classic spaghetti with meatballs and Italian sausage and ordered a basket of bread. Our server Oliver was fantastic and was the only one working the dining area and handled the busy dining room like a champ! Oh and if you're wanting desert you must try their carrot cake, they even have some gluten free desert available in their bars. We both have enough food for 2 more meals. Thank you Stucs for another great meal and fantastic service!

We ordered the fresh bread, which was delicious! The meatballs were also very good. Our pizza was a little spicy but delicious. The German chocolate cake dessert was probably the best part. Thanks for making our trip to Appleton a great experience!

I consider myself a deep dish expert, I've had upwards of two different deep dish pizzas. And Stucs is the finest and most delicious. Come for the delicious pizza and stay for the awesome customer service of Ms. Kellie! I've been waking up in a cold sweat thinking about this place since I came.

We've been there several times (both locations). The service is fantastic. The pizza is drool-worthy. The sauce is just slightly spicy, which makes it burst with flavor. Can we talk about the carrot cake? No we can't - cuz I want it all for myself! And we get dollars back on each visit through our T-Mobile dining rewards. Lo e this place.

The pizza was outstanding. We ordered both the hand tossed and the thin crust. We preferred the crunchy thin but they were both delicious. The sauce was unlike any we’ve ever had and we loved it. The service was wonderful and we ended our meal with the most delicious homemade cookies.

Totally excellent. They aim to please. We eat there or pickup quite often. They don’t let you down. Got Spaghetti and meatballs and sausage for the first time. It was great. My wife got her favorite Brendas fresco calzone and she loved it. Keep up the great work.

I went there for drinks and a bite with some friends and it was absolutely delicious! I had the fish tacos and they were out of this world. The waitress was friendly as can be. They were pretty busy which mDe the service kind of slower but they did the best with what they could and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

We went for brunch on Sunday at 10:30 with a group of 6. We were seated immediately and the hostess was very nice. She seated us in the back room because it was warmer back there which I thought was very nice. The table was a little small for a group of 6 but we made due. The food was fantastic! I would highly recommend the chicken and waffles if they have that special when you are there. Another of our party had the Wisconsin Benedict and she would highly recommend it. Definitely skip the orange juice and go for the mimosa though...my orange juice was $5 so I'm fairly certain the mimosa was the cheaper of the options. Overall, the ambiance was very nice, we had excellent service and our food was very good. We will be back!

My brother and I came in on a Saturday night when it was super busy, but the staff was still attentive and super friendly. It didn't take long at all to get drinks, and our food came out fast. Phenomenal chicken sandwich.

Highly recommend! My husband & I had dinner here - it was fantastic!! We had the homeade chips, they were crunchy and delicious. For my meal I had the white chicken chili & Triple Pork Cuban. Both were awesome! The chili was seasoned perfect and the sandwich was deliciously filling. Our waitress was phenomenal - very polite and timely. The overall experience was great and we'll definitely be going back!!

First visit. Sat on the patio, which was lovely. The whole place has an inviting, clean, modern vibe. I had the cheesesteak sandwich with risotto and a cup of French onion soup. My wife had the banh MI sandwich. Everything was delicious. The ingredients were flavorful and fresh. This was a great first impression. Recommended.

Beautiful bar, high prices and decent service. They are selling excellence but delivering mediocrity. My salad was drowning in dressing and the short rib sandwich was ok but impossible to eat without falling apart and making a mess. The room was beautiful.

We can’t there for my birthday dinner and loved the vibes there. The food was delicious and our server was very attentive. Might add it to my top favorite restaurants in the area.

My gosh I wish I went here before. My Internship final dinner took me here, and maybe it tasted a bit better because it was free, but it was really good!! The oysters were fire and I got some extra because my friend didn’t like them; I recommend the cooked ones instead of raw. French onion soup was amazing and filling, and my New York steak was perfectly cooked at medium-rare, although the rest of my party’s steak was quite a bit more rare than they asked for (medium). Overall great service and experience.

Not a big fan of things being fried in seed oils, but Rye does a nice job adding class and sophistication to the dining experience in downtown Appleton. Would have been good to finish with an espresso, but all they had was coffee 😞

I thought that our dining experience at Rye was just as expected. They have an intimate atmosphere but a little too dim once our food was served. The dishes had a great presentation and really needed some more light to truly appreciate them. We had the oyster service, which had great pairing flavors, whether raw or baked. I think a little more attention could be paid to the shucking process, as we did have to pick out several shell pieces. We also had the squash ravioli and seared scallop entrées. Both were very well composed dishes. We will be back to try other menu/featured items. I highly recommend making a reservation at Rye.

Amazing food here! I had for starters the cheese curds, risotto balls, and crabcakes. For dinner, the fillet of beef and dessert the goat cheese cheesecake. Really cannot go wrong with anything here.

This place is really nice, the wait staff are very good. The food is literally some of the best food you'll ever have, the steak is perfection and the chicken marsala is to die for. I will say it's a bit small, there wasn't really any place to take cute pictures except in front of the sign outside. The prices are good though for the quality of the experience it was 100% worth it, I would go again and I definitely recommend.

Very nice restaurant, quiet so you can actually have a conversation, food is delicious, our server was knowledgeable, personable, attentive. Highly recommend Rye.

The atmosphere is great here! The staff are friendly and helpful. When you sit down, they bring chips and a dish of 2 different kinds of salsa and beans to dip them in. I ordered the fish tacos. They came with a side of beans and rice. They were sooo good! Prices were good for the quality of food. I will be back :)

A superb restaurant on the College Avenue strip in the heart of downtown Appleton. The service, food, and people were all top-notch. The chicken fajitas were off the charts. Even before the first few bites...The aroma coming off of the hot plate gave you an indication that this was going to be tasty - and it was. And mignon bowl was stupendous. Food temps were all perfect. The Chips and Guac before-hand, were excellent as well. And the interior space, art and design elements were spot on. I would come back to eat here in a heartbeat when back in the area. And a well-stocked bar area, too, for liquid libations and the like.

The food here is absolutely the best authentic Mexican in the valley. It’s always consistently delicious. The waiters are super friendly and really attentive to our toddlers' needs, which we really appreciate. Even on busy weekday nights, our food comes out quickly. We love coming here! Also if you haven’t had a chance to check out their food truck yet, it’s perfect for quick takeout. We finally tried it recently after meaning to for a while, and it was just as good as the restaurant.

Decent Mexican food- freshly prepared but the grease did taste old. Had the chicken fajita chimichanga which was good, but I prefer more lettuce/tomato on it. It came with a blob of white cheese- okay, not great. It was better when I put some of the guacamole on it. The beans are delicious- definitely not mass produced and the rice was tasty as well. Service was prompt, not overly friendly. Nice seating and a great atmosphere. House margaritas are VERY good, they don’t taste like they are from a pre mix bottle. Parking is behind the building or on the street (meters during the day). We will definitely be back, hopefully the oil isn’t old next time.

The good was great but we got virgin margs and neither the peach nor the mago tasted like the flavors they were supposed to be. It took an hour for the food to come out... The kitchen capacity is way too low compared to the amount of customers they have seated and waiting for food. The atmosphere was nice but super noisy. It was an hour of waiting and about 20 minutes of eating.

I’ve been wanting to try this place while I was travelling for work to Appleton. The second time in town, on way to my hotel, I thought I’d pop in and grab takeout. But as I stood at the bar and looked around and scanned the menu, I decided to dine it. And I wasn’t disappointed. It’s a super cute place and the staff are welcoming and friendly. I sat at the bar, ever the solo diner. I was craving good Mexican food and this restaurant checked the box in a big way. I didn’t want just the standard fare - tacos, burritos, Quesadillas - I wanted proper Mexican. I ordered the Tamales (soooo good!!), the Sope on the bartender’s recommendation (delicious) and the shrimp ceviche (good, if not in need of another squeeze of lime). I ate heartily and had some to go, to eat later at a late night of work. And it wasn’t terribly expensive for the portion size and high quality of the food. I wish I could go back but my time in town is limited. I loved it.

Great food 😋 Highly recommend to get reservations. The bar service was a disappointment, we had a party of 8 and waited for a bartender to serve us, we'll we're still waiting. Our waitress however was just super! We all sat down and ordered drinks and everything went as smooth as could be. The waitress (Krystal?) Was just as nice as a person could be ♥️ She had everyone covered with the food ordered to the drinks ordered 👌 GREAT JOB! It was a great experience and very enjoyable, hope for the same to you 😊

The service was amazing . Hard to come by these days . A very classy old school super club vibe . Extensive menu with many specials . Getting there and ordering before 5PM would be wise for the pricing is way cheaper with great specials . We had steak and fish. The steak was cooked beautifully and seasoned perfectly. Also the tenderloin tips with mushrooms and vegetables were above average . Broiled haddock was amazing , very flaky and not overcooked . We would come back again most definitely

The food was delicious and fresh. We loved the haddock fingers appetizer and crab cakes. The tenderloin and prime rib were cooked perfectly. Our server was great, he gave us recommendations and answered questions. He came to check on us just often enough.

True supper club experience. The service was superior, friendly, good suggestions and attention to detail. Our party of four each had a different entree. All of us raved a out the food. I recommend the French Onion Soup. My prime rib was fantastic, very flavorful. The steak, pork and seafood the others ordered were presented beautifully. We had family come from out of town and we hadn't been at the Red Ox in many years and decided to go . We were so fortunate to meet Andrew the coolest Waiter EVER ! The 4 of us totally enjoyed his expertise on the menu and his work Ethic was Amazing. The Entire Dinner was ABSOLUTELY Delicious! We will for sure Be back . And Thanks to Andrew he made our dining experience very Special.

This place was amazing! We went there for lunch as a family, and they have so much seating outdoor and indoors with a very nice environment! The service was great, and so was the food! The menus and options are great, and this definitely hit the spot.

Sangria’s brought their food truck to cater our Grand Reopening celebration, and wow was it good! Sarah is wonderful to work with and her team is friendly and efficient. Delicious margaritas and fresh flavorful tacos… what more could you want/need? Highly recommend!

This place seems to do everything better than most Mexican restaurants. The usual items are there, but some of their offerings are less common. The service attentive, but not obtrusive, and the presentation (see photos, and, yes, the orchid was real) is exemplary. I strongly recommend the molcajete offerings. It can get crowded on weekends and dinner, so lunch M-F is best.

Had an outstanding meal here. I especially liked the ability to choose from a wide variety of options for the side dishes that came with the entrees rather than the usual rice and refried beans.

I LOVE Katsuya. It is my go-to sushi restaurant in the Fox valley. I always have the best service, the food never has disappointed, and the atmosphere is so vibey and romantic.

I have been here 3 times, and each experience is different. I would recommend reservations, I have had to wait up to 45 minutes. They do not take reservations for Saturdays, which kinda sucks, so I would recommend going earlier to get a table. Parking is a bit of a nightmare, but there is a paid parking garage next door, out you can try to find parking in the area along the street- it is a busy area however. The food here is great! I get the table with the little grill and you are able to select 3 meats, you are also brought a small cup of veggies and rice. Sometimes it comes together, sometimes not. They do not allow substitutions on the meats, so choose wisely. There are seafood options, along with steaks and chicken. They also bring you 3 different sauces for dipping. The meat comes preseasoned, and it's very good. You can easily spend at least 2 hours here for a meal this way, but they do have a hibachi area, and sushi, which is also very good. I usually get a roll while waiting for the entrees. The rice does get cold, my only gripe. The best thing about this place is the value. It will be costly to dine at the table grilling, but it's 32 bucks for good portions of 3 different meat options, which can include filet mignon- plus rice and veg. I feel like I'm getting my money's worth for the food plus the pleasure of my dining company and ambience. Highly recommend you check it out!

In town for a great UMCVB conference!Decided to head over next door and enjoy some late dinner. It was amazing. The shrimp tempura was so delicate. The dipping sauce was the perfect accompaniment. Filet and hanger steak was out of this world and so tender. Rice perfectly cooked and the sushi was a marriage of flavors and textures. The service was top knotch! He was attentive without being over bearing and knowledgeable about the entire menu. Many thanks from Discover Ames!

Our server was extra attentive but not overly so. Tried the new pork belly buns and was surprised by how great they were. The attention to detail including the scented hand towels push this restaurant over the top in the affordable section.

Been here several times. The inside is nice. The hibachi is almost always amazing. The chefs are amazing. And I typically have great-good service on the hibachi bside. I've only had to wait a long time once and it was because they were down a chef. But when we were served, the chef was hilarious and made up for it. But the sushi side...won't go again. Tried it 3 times. Me and my husband got sick each time, even when we ordered different sushi rolls. The service is poor each time. Staff very unfriendly. The give you one menu for the whole table to share, don't check in on you, if you have questions regarding the menu, the staff are standoffish to answer. Its just not a welcoming environment on that side. Definitely will not do the sushi side again.

Been going here since 2017. Its been a hot sec due to busy schedule but they changed the menu and the yaki niku set which was $36 for three types of meats you can choose from with veggies and rice. They changed it to a sampler set for $32 where you get multiple different type of meats, no veggies. As someone who came here constantly for special occasions, this set was not worth it. You get like 2 pieces of each. I miss the old set as I already knew which specific meats I want. The individual purchases is $9-11 dollars with only 5-6 pieces of meats each which provides way less meat than the previous set. Definitely feel like I paid more for less and was not worth the price. At least the previous set had me full.

Everything we ordered was absolutely amazing, our waiter Carlos was the best someone could've asked for, super friendly, loved his attitude. Over all great place, eat at your own pace and cook your own food to your liking. Very much recommended. Quality of the food was fantastic, everything tasted fresh, seasoned great for cooking on your own

We had a great experience! Lin was our waitress and she was phenomenal! So kind & a great server. We did the 4 course for 2 dinner. My husband ordered a modern old fashioned and did not like it and ordered a different drink. They discounted the old fashion from our bill which was not necessary but appreciated. Would definitely recommend checking it out if you haven’t before!

What a neat experience! We did the Complete Dinner for Two which consisted of a four-course meal. Everything from start to finish was delicious. The steaks were especially flavorful. The atmosphere is relaxed and our server Terri was phenomenal. Thanks for making my wife's birthday a success!

The very first time we ever came to the Melting Pot we had Luke! The other three servers after that 2 were ok and one never ever came to check on us and I kept having to ask for other wait staff. However, tonight we had Luke again! Let me tell you he is the most joyous person to be around. I mean, he explains everything great, his listening skills are fantastic! I am not from Wisconsin but I am from Ohio and lived over 15 years in Tennessee. I am used to joyous wait staff. Ones that makes it all part of the experience of oh my goodness. He's one of the coolest young people we have ever met in Wisconsin. I was going to say the coolest but then I remembered some others I've met too. However, he definitely wins the wait staff with the most joyful personality we have ever met in Wisconsin! Thank you!

I was trying to set up an impromptu dinner date with my brother and his wife since they like going to the Melting Pot often and we go annually. My brother wanted to try the grill top and we wanted to take advantage of the traditional fondue. So I called the restaurant two times to ask several questions that came up amongst our group as we made plans to visit the Melting Pot in Appleton. My first call was to see if you were busy, our group thought there might be a wait to get in. The response to my call was currently (4:30pm - 5:00pm) no waiting, after 6 however there would be at least a half hour wait if not longer. Then I called back to ask if we could have a table that would accommodate both fondue and the griddle? The same person answered and said there would be no issue with this request as they would be able to accommodate both cooking styles. When we arrived at 5:05pm we were greeted with how many, 4? Your reservations are under? I said we didn't have reservations but I did call ahead, I was cut off rudely with "we like for people to make reservations!" I reiterated I called ahead and spoke to... I was cut off again with someone saying "he did call and spoke to him twice". I started to say I wasn't aware that you had to... Then the breath taking rude comment was blurted out, as the hostess took out menus "remember next time to make sure you make reservations! We are busy and we are booked" This set the tone for our entire evening the person that seated us seemed very short and dismissive. Our waitress seemed short and elusive, being difficult to find and taking their time with our requests for additional food items. They seemingly kept trying to move us along with the next course immediately as. Overall the four of do not live in town we have enjoyed the Melting Pot for the past decades. Fixing this issue of miscommunication and rudeness could be easily coached in saying "if you are taking inquiring calls or informational calls ask if they would like to place a reservation?" A Hostess should never be flippant or rude they should always be pleasant, graceful and in control. They could say something similar to let me see if I have a spot open for you. Our observation was you appeared not booked , you were not busy, as stated the Hostess, you did not have any large parties come in, and our waitress was unbearably elusive, was this tone set from the hostess? These above behaviors are not becoming of an establishment that charges $106 for a meal, when there are so many other restaurants vying for our business.

Such a great time! Our server, Maddy was not mad at all and the manager, Natasha gave some expert advice about pickles and peanut butter. Never would have guessed it was that good. We seriously had such a wonderful time and had so many laughs! Will definitely be back!

Evan (the bartender) and Luke (our server) were absolutely phenomenal. Date night without kids, and the evening had issue after issue. They insisted we ended up leaving home late and unfortunately not arriving until 8:15. Both gentlemen reassured us multiple times that we were not a burden, and to just relax and enjoy our evening. We live over an hour away and will be returning because of these 2 fine, young gentleman. 10/10 recommend this location.

Went to get a latte - the cashier did not know how to work the register so it took quite a while to order. They charge $1.50 extra for oat milk … this is crazy. Nobody is charging any extra for alternative milks in 2025, so this was wild. Need to look into changing this as it’s a blatant cash grab. Overall - the latte was not good tasting and took almost 20 mins to come out. I hope the food is good as I would not recommend.

Not the place to go if you are pressed for time! I waited 45 minutes for a small iced mocha and a breakfast burrito. The service was incredibly slow and the staff was more interested in talking to each other than making the drinks for the line of people out the door. The drinks were good, but nothing special. I enjoyed the bacon breakfast burrito, but it was very expensive. There is plenty of seating outside on the patio. Parking is not easy to find since it’s in the apartment complex. It is a good spot to come and study or meet friends.

My daughter and I went here on Mother's Day. For being Mother's Day, I didn't feel it was that crowded, plenty of seating space inside and out. We were told it would be 45 minutes to get our food. We didn't want to wait that long so decided on a Latte. That took about 20 minutes. There was only one person making the Lattes and she either seemed stressed or she didn't want to be there. I don't want to assume, but that's what it seemed to me. To be fair, I've seen the reviews and decide to take the chance because we walked the trail. It's a great place to go, you can't beat the view. I saw what people were eating and it looked yummy and seemed like decent portions. I'll most likely go back when I don't have any other place to be and can take my time. Not sure what the problem is. I have a favorite coffee shop I go to in Neenah where I live. Very popular and they too can get very busy, however, you never have to wait that long for food or drink. I understand that the menu is quite different and takes longer to prepare, but there were people waiting outside that were there when we arrived and were still waiting when we finished our Lattes.

Everything about this place was great except the service. I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt because they were probably short staffed being open on Memorial Day. Also out of some things probably for the same reason. Thank you to employees for being available on a holiday The baked goods are outstanding, one of those where you want to order one of everything. I loved the atmosphere at Tempest. It has a lot of windows making it bright and inviting. It is comfortable with different types of seating from a couch, to tables and chairs, to high top seating at the counter. I had the Sap Sugar Latte. It had a unique flavor that i enjoyed.

Amazing place. Lovely ambience with a serene riverside view. Upon reaching the actual location it seemed like its a whole new world we are in. Even the drive leading to the coffee house was one of a kind i have never seen in Appleton. The food was good with a good number of vegetarian options, although a lot more should be added as far the flavors and texture of the dish is concerned. Prices were affordable. Coffee was pretty amazing for its presentation. I went with my husband and would love to visit this place more often during summer times

Came through town for one night and stayed at hotel close by and decided to try for breakfast. Wonderful. Coffee was the salted Carmel latte and the breakfast was amazing. Update 2 years later, this place still has it going on.

We had a larger group for dinner and ordered the nachos app it was really good! The gluten-free options were great for our friends with Celiac. Server was helpful and took great care of the table. All the food turned out great minus the Philly cheese steak. Dry, way too much bun and it needed more... steer clear of that dish, the rest were by all accounts cooked well and tasted great.

Ordered online for delivery down the block on a Saturday around 8:30 pm. Order included ice cream among the heated desserts and pizza. ETA was originally 9:25pm which seemed reasonable. Order finally arrived, cold at 9:50 pm. Ice cream completely melted, cold pizza, cold desserts. No microwave (or freezer) in the hotel. At least one driver change. I'm not sure who to blame on this one, the bar or the drivers. Next time I'm in town, I might try to go in and see if its better.

Ordered wings from here. For $20 I would expect better quality. Barely any meat on them! I ordered wings from here previously - same experience, however figured I would try them again. Got $100 worth of food from here tonight, and realized this would be my last time. The chicken tenders are as skinny as a pencil, the wings had no meat on them - don’t even get fries with them for the price. Was hoping for a better outcome the second time around but my family was not impressed. 😬 if you are looking for good quality wings, I would honestly not look here. Get your moneys worth and go to Scubas, or wooden nickel!!

The wings were delicious and for my surprise they were all flats! They tasted very good and the atmosphere was very chill and relaxed. We also got cheese curds and the cheese was of very good quality. We tried several beers and they all came in a good temperature. Both the server and the bartender were polite and attentive. Next time I’m up north, I would like to come back.

A large group of my friends and I came here after my friends wedding. We are all from out of town but recognized “The Bar” from Green Bay. We were at the bar about to order drinks when a large group of overweight men started harassing my friend and called him a slur. When I brought it to the attention of the bouncer near me, he said “that’s freedom of speech”.

Awesome placs! My wife and I's first time here, the manager Mike is a super cool guy. I asked a drink recommendation and he hooked me up. The food is great too, I definitely recommend getting the flight. The burgers are super good and if it's your birthday you're in for a good time.

I am so upset with my bar experience. I work downtown so I order from here VERY often. I always get the same thing but for whatever reason the last couple times I have ordered they have been burnt like this. This was my free set of mistake wings and look how awful these look! I called and asked to talk to a manager and he is so very disrespectful and he yelled at me over the phone and told me to order from somewhere else because I am unable to make happy! He hung up on me while I was trying to talk to him! Also told me that all of the food gets looked at before it’s sent out! THEY ARE BLACK!!!! I manage a business and I would never handle a situation like he did and for that I will never order from here again. I spend 40-60 every time I order because I order for my work crew and that no longer will happen, customer service definitely makes a business.

Overall, the table agrees that the name is accurate. The Good Co was good, but not great. I would still recommend coming though. The atmosphere and building are very unique (in a very good way). I think the most satisfying entree was the quesadilla (lots of chicken) and the chicken strip basket (nice and crispy and yummy fries).

Fish was basic fish fry, the waitress was awesome, and the atmosphere was good! Would recommend quick bite to eat. We were traveling in town.

It is a beautiful restaurant. It has a sort of Tuscan vibe. The food was prepared promptly, hot and as ordered. The Cod sandwich was delicious and big. They have their own house made tartar sauce which is sweet and savory. The loaded nachos could feed a football team! As delicious as it was big. Our waitress was fantastic. Prompt, attentive and definitely service with a smile.

Great place all around! The only knock I can think of is that the wait was a little long, but it was definitely worth it! Especially a fan of the cheese curds, but the food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the decor and feel of the restaurant was super unique.

I'm probably just used to fast food restaurants, but $13 for their most basic burger seemed excessive. And prices went up from there. The food was pretty good, though not compelling. Also, the lettuce on the burger was old so we had to pull it off. The bread on the Reuben was soggy from the sauerkraut. The most frustrating part of our visit was the service though. Starting with her introduction, we could tell the waitress was flustered. She did excel at keeping our drinks filled. But most other interactions were disappointing. She didn't know how much would be charged to replace fries with broccoli. She let me know when she brought it. She forgot to put in the order for our appetizer. She brought salads without silverware. After we asked for them, she brought two forks for each of us with no knife or napkins. Even when she brought the steak, there were no knives or napkins. Lastly, she forgot our to-go boxes. The experience took twice as long as it should have because we had to wait so much. Maybe she was new and hadn't been adequately trained, but I expected a lot more from such a well reviewed restaurant.

The hostess was great. She was able to seat us right away. Our server got our drinks and order in. Before I knew it our food was being brought to us. Great service even with them being busy with home comming. The tenderloin was delicious. The atmosphere seems like its a place you'd take your older kids too, date night, girls night.

We got there about half after they opened and no one was around. We waiting for a while before anyone realized we were there. The calamari was the best I've had in awhile, but the t Tofu Hot Pot said it would be spicy, it was not... AT ALL, it was pretty bland. My boyfriend's Kung Pao Trio was decent but I did not expect the sweetness in the sauce. I think his dish had a bit more flavor than my dish. The ambiance was very nice though, soft music and open space. However when more people showed up, the sound bounced off the walls.

Fantastic experience dining here with my book club. We had a terrific server, Gianna, who was very helpful, friendly and attentive. Service was prompt and the food was so good - something for everyone. I love to build a bowl with my favorites (udon noodles, tofu, veggies and a spicy Hunan sauce) - so good! The ginger tea is also very tasty.

Was my first time here. Amazing food- loved the Appleton Roll. Had grilled tangerine chicken and both were delicious. Staff super friendly and attentive as well! Was a little chilly inside but otherwise comfortable atmosphere ✨️

Very pleased with our recent visit. Ordered the Appleton roll, GR Chicken and Kapoon (not on printed menu yet but available by request). Hostess/bartender Jaquee was extremely helpful and very friendly and forthcoming with recommendations. Appleton roll was very tasty but would benefit from more salmon in the roll. GR Chicken was very good. The Kapoon was 5 star. It's like a curry/soup which is different but definitely worked. Would never have ordered it on my own but like trying different foods and Jaquee mentioned it several times so I gave it a go. I asked for spice level "3" (1-5) and it was perfect. Great taste, very bright and felt home cooked. Will definitely be back again.

I have gone here for years. Sadly, since they stopped serving sushi, this place has really gone downhill in food and service. The food quality and taste is what you'd get at a cheap Asian buffet, but with top dollar prices. Ingredients were missing for items that I ordered, only to have to ask about it and find out that they had run out of (or didn't restock?) ingredients. The one sushi appetizer left on the menu is gross -- they cook the fish, add fried bits and you can barely find tasteless "cream cheese" -- it's mushy and not sushi. Staff appear to be mostly young adults who tried, but didn't really know the place and didn't check in to see what we needed. I felt sorry for our server who was put on a bind with the missing ingredients and could only apologize as there was no way to fix it. The place itself is now dirty, cheap looking, and set with rather plain tables and chairs. There are no buffers between tables so you hear everything around you. Food was sent home in a brown paper bag like a grocery store, in cheap paper containers, despite the $80 price tag. If you want cheap, bland Asian food, save your money and go to a buffet where the prices match the quality, and you get to taste everything. Totally disappointed. This was the last time at GingeRootz for me. It is the end of an iconic era and a legend.

I enjoyed a wonderful night out with my family. It's been a year or so since the last time I was here, and since we are a family that loves Asian food, we decided on GingerRoots. The food and service were excellent. Both my niece and I had the chicken lo mein, and my wife had the General Cho's chicken, my sister had the tofu shrimp pot, my father had the Aji tuna, and my other niece had the Mandarin chicken. We also had the calamari for our appetizer and both the chocolate and deep-fried cheesecake for dessert. We all look forward to returning.

I take myself out for solo dinner dates once every month. This was by far my fav little night out alone. The bartenders were so nice!! Two men and one girl who also complemented me saying how pretty I was. The food was SO good. Drinks amazing as well. I wish i got the names of the people serving me but i hope they see this because yall really made my night! Highly recommend.

We celebrated a family birthday with a party of 6. The customer service from the moment we entered until we left was exceptional. We ordered a variety of things across the menu and we sampled each others plates. We all said the shrimp appetizer was the best shrimp dish any of us had ever had. The meats were well cooked and well seasoned, veggies were fresh and flavorful. Desserts were great! Our waitress had worked here from the start...it shows as she knows the menu well and was helpful and provided excellent table service! My only complaint was the scallops add on for a surf and turf and the scallops as my main course. They were both over salted and the main course version should have had less sauce. They were cooked to perfection both ways but the salt component got in the way of 100% satisfaction. Still, with everything else being excellent we will come back for our next family birthday...probably in a couple months.

This is the case of a guy that loves a good burger and just can’t say no, wishing he had. While the pictures of their burgers looked amazing, even a request to have my burger prepared rare resulted in a dried out, flavorless patty on a bun the was overly warm and just not good. Pictures don’t always tell you the whole story. This would be a perfect example.

Good was well prepared. You could tell the ingredients were fresh and high quality. We started the the pot stickers- they were delicious!! That sauce is to die for! I had the bourbon chicken bowl. The sauce was very good and the vegetables fresh. The risotto in it was excellent. My husband had the grouper tacos. He loved them. We both had a non-alcoholic drink- mine was the berry no-jito. SO good. He had the N.A. mule and it was also VERY good. Service was fine- nothing spectacular. We will definitely eat here again as it is a step above most other place.

This is my first ever review, but I feel like this place deserved it. Last night We started at the bar, who was busy but they were prompt and very friendly. The food was fast, but delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the portion size for the price was spot on. The real star of the night was our service. We cannot recall her name, She has very long hair and spoke about her son and her time out of the country in Ireland with us but she was fantastic. We were a larger party with a lot of questions. She never made us feel like a burden even being as busy as she was. We would come back again for the food but what will bring us back sooner is the service we received. Overall great experience for us all

Absolutely amazing! My girlfriend and I are from Green Bay, and wanted to try something new. We came here and everyone was so polite and accommodating. The food was delicious and nice big portions. Highly recommend! I had the pan-fried walleye.

Good beer and good food. One star off because the service was a bit odd. Not sure if they have actual waitstaff (beyond bartenders), but we came in for dinner on a trivia night (unknown to us) and it seemed like the bartenders were also having to double duty as waiters, so getting our food and getting the bill took a while since they were very busy with folks coming in for trivia.

Came from out of town (Yoop) for a show, first time at this location and It was amazing. Great intimate setting and great sound. Will definitely be back! Met Mark and he was very helpful, can tell he is passionate about that place. We bought more tickets for an upcoming show and We'll be following on social for future shows. Old Fashioned on tap was really good... Thanks for a great venue!

Very nice place and great beers, great food (jalapeno coins), and fun service. Definitely a place to check out and chill for a bit. Fun conversation at the bar too with great people.

Second time at the Appleton Beer Factory and had a phenomenal experience. Quick service and amazing food. The Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich is not unbelievably spicy but had a good kick, with a super juicy thigh. And the cucumber salad with veggies fresh from the garden was incredible. My husband had a great burger and our beers were great! Can’t recommend enough.

Milhand Hefeweizen was delicious and so refreshing! Hints of banana! Great pizza! Looks like they have live music events too, wish I could've stayed for that!

There is absolutely no organizational system to order a drink during mile of music. It was chaos, and truly whoever was yelling the loudest at the bar, which was 3 people deep at all times. We had worked our way up to seats at the bar, waited a half hour holding my card out the entire time and never got a bartender’s attention to order a tap beer before we just decided to leave. The bartenders were moving and working hard, but there was no way three people could keep up with what was going on. If you are going to fill a bar to capacity, have staff and systems to accommodate.

The food here was so good! The portion sizes are also huge. I ordered the large lamb gyro and it was very big. My sister ordered a small and honestly, that even would have been too big for me. We also ordered loaded fries, which were amazing, and a serving of baklava. The baklava was light and sweet, tasting of butter and honey. If you have nut allergies be sure to ask or read the label. There is no seating besides a small bench to wait for your food, so be sure to have somewhere to go or be okay with eating in your car. Overall very delicious food for a reasonable price.

Delicious, a little messy but god damn is it tasty. Simple to order, easy to customize. Well worth the stop and easily an upcoming go to place when I’m in town.

Tucked behind the hustle and bustle of downtown College Ave is a delightful, Mediterranean-themed Cafe catering the very best gyros in the area: Josef's! The food is flavorful and bold, the prices won't break the bank, and the staff is always so kind. I absolutely love going to Josef's, every time! My baklava got missed this last time, but it was a fundraiser night, so I don't want my money back! If I could get a baklava sometime, that would be swell 😉

I had went out to eat with my significant other around 5pm on a Saturday. We had never been to this place before and figured we would give it a try. The place had very few people. We arive, go inside, wait by the sign that said to wait for seating. After about 8 minutes without acknowledgment, we decided to seat ourselves. We sat down at a table, which was fine aside from it being very wobbly. After another 10 minutes, we finally get a waiter to get us some drinks. By the way the drinks are super expensive. I chose to have a water, I'm not going to fork over a 20 dollar bill for a cocktail at a sport bar. We had placed our food order. The waiter Simon was very friendly. Me and my SO had ordered the breaded chicken sandwich. When we got the sandwiches the chicken on them was about half the size of a normal chicken patty. The chicken was tough and didnt even cover the bun. We had kindly asked the waiter to have them re made because it was definitely not worth 20 dollars for the sandwich which we received. Simon promptly took them back to have them re made. When we received the new sandwiches it wasn't any better. Needless to say we will not be back ever. Edit: As we got our check we noticed the chefs were esting our food that we sent back.

Was in area for show. Burgers were burnt and dry not made to request. Had side salad which was lettuce and onion only. Drink were out ragous in price. Double the price from anywhere else. Other bars we walked by were packed on a Thursday night. Not going. Back anytime soon.

Not one to leave negative reviews but after the manager or owner followed us out of the establishment and confronted us about poor tipping is where I draw the line. Very unprofessional and very childish. Me and a group of 7 walked in around 8:45 didn't get helped till we walked up to the bar to get our drinks and bring them to our tables. Another 15 mins went by for her to get to us and we gave her some slack as it was 1 cook and 1 bartender but there was a half full bar and maybe 3 tables not to busy at all. Waited almost a hour for food that half our table didn't even want to eat but had no other options as its past 10 already. Was very unhappy with everything here but insanely unhappy with how unprofessional how the manager or owner acted and told us his memory is better then our and good luck because we didn't satisfy him with tippingn enough! So my advice make this your last priority if you can help it

I'm not really one to leave negative reviews, but due to the price vs. quality of this place I figured I'd share my experience. My friend and I sat for upwards of 30mins to even be spoken to. I had to go up to the bar to clarify whether someone comes to the table or if we order there. Multiple families left during this time due to how poor the service was. We then waited another 10-15mins to be waited on, 30mins to receive two cokes, and it took about 45mins to get our food, which was lukewarm due to sitting in the window for far too long. We were not checked on (and the restaurant was not busy). The food was wildly over priced for the quality. Appleton offers tons of delicious places, I highly recommend avoiding this one.

I had the chicken bacon ranch flatbread it was pretty good, and the cheese portions were very good. I would have liked to have just a little more ranch on the flatbread. The service was pretty good and the atmosphere was nice. Would be nice of have a better salad option.

Being this restaurant attached to the hotel we we not expecting for the food to taste so amazing! I know Wisconsin is always great for their burgers but this by far is probably one of my favorite places for burgers!🍔 Certainly if you’re in the hotel and need something to eat this place will not disappoint!

Stopped in tonight, place was not super busy. Waited quite awhile for two burgers. Service was good. Burgers were super dry and tasted burnt. Fries were good.

Delicious food in a clean restaurant. Friday fish fry dinner was awesome. My wife and I ate here for our first time tonight. It was a very pleasant surprise since we only go to the same three restaurants in Appleton. Home Run Pizza was a delicious dinner. Their menu is fairly priced and has a variety of pasta, pizza, fish, salads, and appetizers. I got the haddock and she got the pizza. She loved the pepperoni and sausage pizza. It was a pretty long wait for the food but it was worth it. I can tell it’s fresh fish and homemade sauce. Great place to eat!!! Try it once and you will go back for sure!

I was super excited to try homerun pizza only to be very disappointed. We got the pizza delivered only to have it luke warm. Crust was soggy (the bottom of the crust seemed like it wasn't cooked enough), hardly any sausage (and paid extra for their homemade Italian sausage), and didn't get the cheese pull others seem to have in reviews. I called and was told to ask for less mushrooms next time because that's what made my crust soggy (I never asked for extra mushrooms so being my first time ordering not sure how I'm supposed to know that) ended up getting a gift card for part of what I paid for the pizza.

So, new owners. Nice people. Still really good. They are doing a great job holding the torch. Great pizza, Good fish fry!

Went early as a family of 4 on a Friday evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and the service. The thin crust pizza was just crispy enough. The pepperoni was excellent. Food came quickly. Our server was fantastic - kind, considerate, and on the ball.

What amazing food! We had pizza and it was very delicious! Fresh mushrooms, home made sausage and pepperoni...YUM! We ate on a Friday night and, in Wisconsin, Friday nights are known for fish fries. We were told by people around us how amazing the fish was, so next time we will be trying their fish. We saw their salad bar and it looked amazing as well. There is carry out and delivery as well. Very nice service and prices are reasonable. This is a very casual place with a nice atmosphere. We will be going there again!

I met the owner, Bill, at another restaurant and came by to check them out. What a great spot! They have an exceptional selection of coffee from around the world and the food is delicious. I got a breakfast sandwich on a croissant with Kenyan coffee to drink. I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in town. Thanks Bill and the entire ACOCA staff!

Good food. Selection was good. Somewhat long wait for food so don’t be in a rush- I’d say good half hour..daughter said waffles were meh, I had Brussels they were good. Little on the pricey side but all in all a good vibe.

The food and coffee were both excellent, especially the Nordic Waffle Sandwich, and the service was amazing. Very attentive and friendly. The space itself brings me right back to my college days of wanting a cozy, artsy space to inspire my inner-artist.

This is an incredible coffee and breakfast spot! My wife and I have traveled and lived all over the country. Our mission when traveling or moving somewhere new is to locate THE coffee spot for the area. I’m talking about that shop that’s got coffee done by baristas who truly know how to craft drinks, using ingredients that are thoughtfully sourced and high quality beans, roasted just right. THIS is the shop to find that in Appleton and the surrounding region. The coffee is delicious, meticulously crafted, and you MUST check out the baristas faves special creations menu. And pro tip: if the coffee shop mentions that it is a roastery, their coffee is probably phenomenal, and ACOCA is no exception! Next the food: WOW!!!! I’m not sure who’s back there cooking, but the dishes are phenomenally designed, and everything is cooked to perfection. This isn’t a place to gorge on plain breakfast foods. This is a place to enjoy and experience thoughtfully crafted dishes with incredible flavors that leave you highly satisfied. Worth every cent! My gosh the potatoes are amazing!!! Finally, customer service was wonderful. A gentleman came and spoke with me and my family… I believe his name was Russ. He was non intrusive but engaging. All staff were professional, inviting, respectful, and friendly. This lent to an atmosphere with the decor and seating that is welcoming and restful whether you’re looking for a meeting spot, remote work away from home, chill with the family, or a date spot! All in all, ACOCA is absolutely the place to be and my family will be back.

Food was fantastic. Breakfast burrito was more like a panini but in a good way, with good potatoes on the side. Veggie quiche was also very good, really loved the crust. Coffee (cortados) was fairly good; just not top tier if you are a “coffee snob.” Would recommend!

I really wanted to like this place as the atmosphere was great but the price for a family of 4 to have breakfast pushing $70 along with a 28 minute wait for our food was too much to overlook. Avocado toast, lox and bagel and scrambled eggs were good but my bagel sandwich had uncooked eggs to the point they were translucent. After waiting 30 minutes to eat I was not interested in having it replaced. Coffee wasn’t anything special either.

This is currently my favorite coffee shop in Appleton! Great espresso, killer nitro cold brew on tap, and their cinnamon scone is the bomb. The tall windows along College Ave let in a ton of light so this a great spot to post up for a while and work.

Stopped here for lunch for a fish fry. It was all you can eat white fish and fries. Never had white fish before this, usually haddock or perch. The fish came out hot, but was kinda oily and rubbery, not my fave. The French fries were hot and crispy very good. Service was decent.

Burgers are awesome. Fries, especially the sweet potato fries leave a lot to be desired. Small portion, and undercooked. I had to pop them in the air fryer when I got home.

The burger was good but the bun was dry and sharpe crust on top. I took 3 bites and my lips felt like I was eating hard sharp sandpaper. I waited without eating 10 minutes before the waitress to check when she did she said I was on the phone. I was Less then 1min but when the food arrived I got off the phone and started eating. I complained and she said that she would get me another bun. I said no I was done. I thought she was going to get the manager but instead she brought me a bill with 25% off. I said no I wasn’t happy at all with the food. I asked to speak with the manager and it was her. Then she said because I took some bites out of the food and said that I ate halve she was going to take 50% off. So I left very unhappy with my experience their. I don’t know if the other locations have this problem. April 19th, 2024. Now!!! because they served me bad food… In their response… They banned me from their restaurant because I gave them a bad review… Don’t go to Cinders. The company does not honor their products… and they think you should pay for BAD "Quality" food.

Always have a great experience here. They did not get my steak right this time, but my server went above and beyond to make it right. So many great choices here, most char grilled, which is amazing.

Kelly was a great server. Regular steak sandwich tasted similar to the hamburger, so will go with the hamburger next time. Cowboy burger was perfect! Onion rings delicious. Fries awesome hand cut and fresh. First timer, but the letdown was the surcharge for using a credit card. I'm spoiled with having it included in the price, so it just took my experience down. Suggest you just raise the price a bit and charge 1 price. Didn't sound like we were the only ones taken back about it.

I want to start by saying I have always loved cinders. I've almost always gone to the location by darboy but decided to do a pick up order at the Appleton one on Wisconsin Ave. I've never been so disappointed. I even reached out days ago with my concerns with no response. My ham and cheese sandwich I always order, which is normally packed with ham and a nice buttery bun, had one layer of BURNT ham and a dry bun. The ham was so burnt I could barely eat any of the sandwich.

Great food, great drinks, cozy atmosphere with a touch of Bob Ross 🎨 The bar here is fantastic! I love the design of this place, the drinks are upscale and fancy, but fun. The burgers are seriously top notch, put together well and thoughtfully curated ingredients make for a delicious sandwich. The tater tots are their featured side, and they could be a meal on their own, they are definitely worth the try.

My husband was on the hunt for some chicken wings and read that this place had some of the best in the valley. When we arrived we had just barely beat the crowd of people. Our waiter (Alex(?) I think) was amazing! Very knowledgeable of all drinks, apps, meals, etc. provided guidance on different items that are hits with other diners and we were not led astray! The street corn tots with brisket were amazing, the fresh cilantro really brought the dish together. I got the brisket Mac and cheese, that was also good (very rich) so I got a to go box. I didn’t get a chance to take a picture of the wings since they were gone in a flash haha but I was told those were really good too!

Had a great lunch today at Mill City Public House in Kaukauna. The food was delicious and the Jackalope decor was fantastic. They kept Bob Ross on one television and Bon Appetite on the other. The service was amazing and we had the opportunity to meet one of the chefs. I had the "an okay burger" by name but it was everything great. We also had the brisket sandwich which was a home run. It was super tender and melted in my mouth. I'll highly recommend this jewel.

100/10 Absolutely phenomenal! The food? AMAZING. The service? Also AMAZING. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The cheese curds were perfectly crispy on the outside and melty on the inside, seriously some of the best I’ve ever had. And don’t even get me started on the smash burgers… juicy, crispy-edged, and packed with flavor. The staff was friendly, quick, and made the whole experience even better. Highly, highly recommend, we’ll definitely be coming back!

In town for work this week and wanted a good burger, after a quick google search I landed on Mill City Public House. Probably one of the best burgers I’ve ever had on top of fresh cold beer off the tap. Definitely will be back if I venture back to WI for work again.

Really amazing food. The Mac and cheese has brisket throughout, which makes you realize many places simply sprinkle some on top. The special burger was called Honky Tonk Heart burn or ache, it was great. The OK burger was fine. The brisket French dip was good. Their cheese curds were the best we've had in Wisconsin and the house made smoked ranch was a real surprise hit for us, it was thicker and deeper flavored than the regular like Hidden Valley thinner consistency. Our waiter was super zealous and spoke a lot about the food, possibly too much? Haha It was expensive, but really worth it.

Nice date night or a drop in for a delicious bite to eat. Check out the appetizers. Lightly breaded, with a perfect crisp, the cheese curds are smooth and creamy, perfect morsels of perfection.

Absolutely LOVED the time we had at Ellinor. The service was very professional - our waiter asked all the right questions, was polite with his attentiveness and provided fantastic recommendations. The atmosphere is the cutest thing - cozy like you’re in Boston - capturing the warmth of the placement in the city and restaurant. The food did not skip a beat - everything was outstanding. We got two pizzas and two apps for three people and this was more than filling! The cauliflower and mushrooms were DELICIOUS! The pies - spectacular. We had the mushroom pie , so buttery and filling and tasty. The calabrese was our favorite - so bright with flavor, this can’t be missed! Appleton is so so blessed to have Ellinor in its presence, take good care of it cause what they have is so so special!! Ps - the popcorn was truly out of this world. Chef is invited over for movie night or game day anytime !

My family and I came here for a dinner a couple of weekends ago and I am still thinking about this meal, it was that good!!! Every single dish gave me that “wow” moment on the first bite. I live in Milwaukee now and wish this restaurant was closer! I will be making this a regular stop every time I visit home. We also got a the cous cous, ribeye and some pizzas which I did not get photos of and those were all incredible as well.

I had a full view of the chefs at work, the servers’ command center, and a front-row seat to the rhythms of a kitchen that clearly functions as both a creative and safe space. Behind me the dining room that maybe seats 20 people was filled with engaged patrons whose conversation buzzed. The wine list was my first surprise—exceptionally curated, yet accessibly priced. In most places, I would expect a 3x markup. Not here. The selection invited exploration, with thoughtful offerings for every palate. This list alone deserves recognition. The menu is small by design—refined and focused—but my server, Sarah, delivered a high-level overview that unlocked the menu’s depth. Her recommendations helped me navigate the choices with ease and confidence. I began with the roasted hen of the woods mushrooms, served with a matsutake soy. Perfectly seasoned and earthy, the dish was a masterclass in restraint and balance. For my entrée, I chose the black cod with red curry foam, sesame broccolini, Napa cabbage and English cucumber salad, all atop a delicate miso extraction. Living on the New England ocean, I rarely order seafood away from home—but I’m grateful I made an exception. The cod was flaky, tender, and sweet (as if it had been caught that morning). The broccolini, dressed with a sesame glaze, was cooked to perfection, its texture just beyond al dente. The cabbage and cucumber brought elegance and structure, elevating the dish without overshadowing it. ellinor is not just a restaurant—it’s an experience. One shaped by intention, precision, and the quiet joy of people who love what they do. If I lived in Appleton, I’d be here weekly. For now, I’ll be counting the days until next year’s convention brings me back.

We came to Ellinor to celebrate my wife’s birthday and it couldn’t have been better. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was outstanding. We both ordered the prime rib, which was perfectly cooked and full of flavor. At first, we didn’t think we could finish it all, but it was so good we cleaned our plates. A fantastic dining experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

What truly set Eleanor apart was their exceptional attention to detail—they went above and beyond with a handwritten birthday card for my husband waiting at our table, adding a heartfelt touch to an already extraordinary evening. Highly recommend Eleanor for a meal that’s as memorable as it is delicious!

Amazing food and incredible service. Every dish is plated beautifully, with deliberate attention to detail. Servers are very kind, and the staff clearly puts a lot of effort into every meal. A reservation is highly recommended, but make sure not to show up earlier due to limited seating. One of my favorite places to eat in Appleton. Desserts are to die for, and change regularly. I would recommend Ellinor to anyone, especially for a dinner date.

My wife, baby, and I stopped by Tipsy Taco for our second visit. Our server was absolutely amazing—super friendly, attentive, and went out of her way to help us. Unfortunately, later that day, my wife became extremely sick and started vomiting badly. It was so severe we almost went to the emergency room. She never gets sick like that, and the only thing different she ate that day were the tacos—specifically the mushroom truffle and steak tacos. After double-checking everything she ate, it really seems like the food was the cause. We’re disappointed because we liked this place, but that experience was scary.

Great food and atmosphere. The passion fruit lemonade was wonderful and the coconut haddock taco was delicious. They have quite a unique variety of taco choices. When I went past the kitchen on the way to the bathroom (which was very tidy and clean) I saw someone in there hard at work cleaning some appliances that already looked very clean. Definitely worth the stop.

Fun selection of different tacos, all super tasty if you’re not picky. Definitely not an authentic experience, so don’t expect it, but if you look past that, it’s a fun place with good decor and styling, with a decent variety of Mexican food and tacos, and a well stocked bar with some fun drinks.

The loaded nachos were a meal for all 4 of us!!! Delicious Mexican and American tacos 🌮 Highly recommend the bowls with rice and beans. Great atmosphere! 🫶

The food is so good here, this will most likely be my go to Taco spot. I highly recommend trying the Ribeye Fundido taco, our waiter was amazing and checked up on us. It was our first time there and they were very helpful, and the host Sami was also very helpful and gave us some suggestions. I love the Vibe and the music as well it truly feels like a more modern but still fun experience when dining.

Get here corriendo! How can you go wrong with Frida artwork infused with seriously good everything. Kiwi & Blueberry Mojito & baked haddock taco + the very 1st one on single taco list, Burria. Service was very speedy as was food! Affordable is a big bonus! As always I’m a sucker for a cool bathroom!

I am extremely pleased to have found this restaurant on a Friday evening. I was super excited to try the Beer battered cod supper. This venue is so pleasing and offers numerous amenities, such as live music daily, cornhole, an outdoor bar area, a spacious patio, and two large bars indoors. Located on Lake Winnebago, it has a beautiful waterfront area. The bartender was enjoyable. The food was very tasty! Fun place to bring the entire family!

Great place to come chill with some cocktails and food on a weekend. Food is decent, service good and it’s a great setting on the patio in the summer months. Large parking lot and clean bathrooms.

I was there a couple weeks ago. Hadn't been there since new owners. We just stopped in to have a Virgin Mary. It was without a doubt the worst one we've ever had and I'm pretty positive a Bloody Mary would be just as bad. IF YOU LIKE THIS DRINK GO ELSEWHERE! There is no taste to it whatsoever! It was like drinking ice water with a tiny splash of tomato juice. And no spice to it at all. So basically like drinking tinted ice water. AWFUL. They need to invest in a decent quality mix or teach the bar how to make decent from scratch. But really there are some excellent mixes to buy. With the prices you're charging out there please give quality. We always enjoyed the view there. But not attracted by your drinks or food prices. We left without eating to go to a place that may not have the view- but to have great food for more reasonable prices for what you actually get.

The food and service was amazing! Bonus for us being able to sit outside by the lake... Definitely will be back!

We were one of the first groups to get try there at 11:45 am. Only two other groups were seated and one was eating. It took 20 minutes for some to ask what we wanted to drink and then took 15-20 minutes to get the drinks and she forgot one which took another 10 minutes to get that and place our orders. The food came out relatively fast and was hot. When we were done, we had to find her to pay our bill. This wasn't all her fault. They only had one server for all the groups, but we were at try he bottom for service.

Came here about a month ago and sat for over 15 minutes without a server even looking at us (same for the entire section we sat in). We had to track down someone to even get our drink order. The only person we could even find was the bartender. Came again today and sat outside (near other people) for 15 minutes without a single worker acknowledging we were there. Went inside to sit at the main bar and try and order food and drinks. Three workers talking in the corner and no one behind the bar. Again, sat for 10 minutes with no one even making eye contact. I’ve honestly never had such consistently horrible service. When you get your food, it’s actually good, but good luck getting to that point. Unfortunately this is the last time we’ll give Waverly a chance.

We hired Michiel's to cater our wedding, and we could not be happier! The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and professional, and the setup was beautiful. The staff went above and beyond. Melynda was wonderful to work with and made the planning process so easy. I ask a lot of questions, and she was very helpful with everything and so nice! We could not be happier, and our guests loved the food. Thank you so much Michiel's!

My girlfriend and I stopped here for lunch and we were not disappointed. The salad bar was so fresh with an abundance of fruits and veggies 😋. Everything was clean and arranged in an easy way to access your food choices. The hot soups were very tasty. For an additional $4 you could include the sandwich bar. There were a variety of cold meats, add ons and dressings. Then at the end was warm prime rib with the bread made in their kitchen. Our waitress was amazing and attentive. we're happy we stopped for lunch.

We attended micheals restaurant for a brunch after my mom's funeral. Our waitress was MEG I have to say she was absolutely amazing!!! Her personality was fantastic, she showed us comfort and support after our loss, her smile is worth a million dollars overall she has been the Best waitress we have ever had at any restaurant. MEG is absolutely fantastic!!!

Really cool atmosphere from the table/fire ring to the large bar in the A frame part of the building. The food was good and has a unique blend of home cooking/supper club items. Salad bar is good with 2 soup options. Definitely worth a stop.

We haven't gone here for dinner yet, but have dined in for the salad bar multiple times. It's a great price, with tons of toppings available plus soups, pasta salads, and different dips. We also love the atmosphere. The servers are always super friendly! There's also pretty stained glass hangings scattered about, a cool propane fire table, and great tunes like Billy Joel playing over the speakers. Supper clubs like this are becoming more and more rare, and this one is a gem!

Amazing service, but compliments to the chef. Best steaks my husband and I had in years if not EVER! We love this restaurant!

They have the best pan seared grouper fish I ever had. It's so moist and delicate. Great fries. Asparagus are super fresh. Clam chowder is great super meaty and creamy. The perch was on the other end horrible. Customer service was great very friendly. Drinks are reasonable and cheaper then downtown. Beautiful setting and this is during remodeling. Very clean.

I stop by once a weekend for breakfast and a coffee. They always have a pup cup ready for my senior dog! Great food and coffee, and even better staff!

I always enjoy coming here, it's a warm atmosphere. Their scones are very yummy, but order early in the morning because they often go quickly. Their coffee tastes fresh, and I like the variety in their menu. I do feel it needs a bigger space - it is usually quite busy anytime of the day.

Some of the best chai in the valley. Love the relaxed ambiance to come and get work done or catch up with friends. Great drive through option as well. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone looking for a great cup of chai, coffee or other coffee drinks!

I’m actually really upset after my last visit here, there’s one employee I’ve had a few times who is always rude, irritable, and this time was sarcastic and I think purposely messed up my order? I came through the drive through, got a panini, parked my car, took a few bites, and realized I didn’t want the rest of the sandwich because it was blackened and tasted like charcoal. So I go through and re order, the second sandwich came out completely cold, cheese unmelted, and veggies still cold, It was a hot pressed panini. As she handed me the new sandwich she smirked and started laughing as she turned around to the other employees behind her. So I called for a refunded and I she answered and explained and she just gave me a short, “ok, do you want us to heat it up.” I heard another employee having to tell her to apologize when I said no. Maybe it’s her first job and she’s been having really bad days every time I’ve been here, but still. Doesn’t feel good to be treated like that by anyone and I don’t think there’s an excuse for it. On the other hand, the College Ave location has always been exceptionally considerate, employees are mature, and the foods always great. This Ballard location is unfortunately closer to my house, but I won’t be coming back after this experience. Picture of second sandwich below.

I’m from New England and it’s hard to find a coffee shop that offers a turtle. So when I walked into Copper Rock I was pleasantly surprised to find a turtle on their menu. Great little coffee shop with friendly staff. And they make a great iced turtle!

Ghost pepper burger with blueberry preserves and onion fries was good but not as spicy as you'd expect. Sweet potato fries were a nice addition. Great variety of beers on tap.

This Bar is a great place to stop at, especially for the fish fry alone. The waitresses were running to keep up, but they were super attentive of each others tables. Atmosphere was humming and full of life, enough room to support the people that were coming in. BUT KNOW THIS, it is cash or check only when paying for anything. It was a fun experience and will definitely be back.

Absolutely love this place! The food is consistently amazing—full of flavor and clearly made with excellence. The staff is always quick, friendly, and on top of everything! The atmosphere is just right too—inviting, relaxed, and perfect whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or hanging out with friends for the evening. First, I love the fact it is off the beaten path, the “hole in the wall” type of place. The food is good, the prices are fair to good, the staff is friendly. And they are busy for Friday night fish fries but they have “outdoor” enclosed dining (check nights for when bands play). I have a few favorite meals. Starting off on taco Tuesdays, their tacos are cheap. I believe I just paid $1.50 - $2. I also love their skinny fries. Their burritos are good too, which is what I usually order. Just be patient as the staff is busy but the food will come out quick. Thursday hamburgers are a great deal too but Friday fish fry’s deep fried haddock is delicious. Lastly, I love their Philly cheesesteak. With or without the nacho/velveeta cheese. The cheese and jalapeños is my fave though. It is large, full of meat, and sometimes too much to eat that I take half home. Stop by, grab a seat. Share a table if necessary. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic food for a reasonable price. You can't go wrong getting their specials. Comfort food done right. Bring cash. They don't take credit cards. It's our favorite lunch spot for our work crew.

Freddy fender said it best..Wasted days and waisted nights..Been through this with up north bars..An obsessive owner that intentionally reroutes callers to a cell phone not accepting phone calls..Thats ocd..

Beautiful dinner at Carmella’s. Excellent service and timed out perfectly. We started with a bread service, Manila clams in a garlic white wine sauce and a lovely beef carpaccio with arugula salad. 10/10. We then split chicken Francese and a housemade ravioli with shrimp. Rounded everything out with some great red wine. Highly recommend!

The meal was unsatisfactory. The spaghetti with meatballs lacked flavor and was not worth the price; a comparable dish could have been prepared at home. My husband's fillet mignon was acceptable, but overall, the dining experience did not justify the expense. The host's condescending demeanor was also disappointing. When offered indoor or outdoor seating, and upon assuring him that full weather protection was sufficient for outdoor dining, his dismissive response was unprofessional. I specifically said, "As long as it's fully covered outside, we'll eat outside." He specifically replied, "That's what I said." As in, lady I just told you it was fully covered outside. We'll pass on any future outings to this place. Culver's offers better service. Only positive was our waitress. She was sweet. Loved to smile.

After reading the reviews good and bad I have to say we had a 4.8 experience! I treated my son on his 18th birthday to this 1st experience for the both of us. His response was "This is the best food I ever ate! " I agreed! 💯! I said almost Gordon Ramsey experience. Although I've never had a Gordon Ramsey experience I watch every show. Lol. I agree with other dinners the bread needs butter on the table to complete the bread or offer more oil. Our waiter was great! I was intimidated by the reviews and didn't want to ask too many questions but watched how he worked the guests around us and was able to see see his great customer service. Best experience we have ever had in the valley with outstanding food! I'm so glad my son will remember his 18th birthday and the great food we shared!!! We will be back!!!

Exceeded my expectations. Passing through Appleton and wanted some Italian but not your Olive Garden fair something nicer. Saw Carmella's here on google with high reviews. Arrived with my mother who has some mobility challenges. I left the car with flashers on in fronts and walked her in to be greeted by the hostess who asked if I wanted to sit outside on their back patio or inside. When I said outside they suggested I drive around back to make things easier which was very thoughtful. The menu was a bit more expensive than I would have expected in the Appleton area. Though everything looks well thought out on the menu. We ordered two glasses of wine which were normal sized pores. Water pitcher on the table is convienient. I then had the arugula salad and the bread service. The salad will you split and they brought it out split in very large portions. Was delicious with the goat cheese dates and just the right amount of balsamuc. Bread was also excellent with vinegar and oil. I would have appreciated a little bit of salt on the side. For mains we had the salmon and the pesto ravioli. Both were spectacular. I don't know how they did the salmon. It was very flavorful and crunchy on the outside braised in some fashion. Wait staff was very attentive. Cierra was fun, hard working. Was nice to see them working as a team to clear plates and such. I found it interesting that they were playing 70s popular music not the cliche Italian. Was refreshing and fun. For dessert we had the tiramisu. Was encouraged to see it come out in a serving glass not on a plate. Though it could have used a little more espresso and amaretto. Please be advised they do charge 4% for a credit card, so bring some cash. Don't be afraid to go here because they are in a strip mall. It was excellent.

Some of the best food I’ve had in a long time! Their butternut squash ravioli special was phenomenal and the saltimbocca was so tasty. My waiter Connor was so nice and very attentive. He really made my night! You can really tell the staff care about what they do and the impression their guests leave with. I will definitely be back!!

This is my wife's favorite restaurant in area. The Chicken Marsala is her fav and she won't shut up about.

All entrees were delicious. Server was spectacular and made our evening a delight. We were celebrating a birthday and were pleasantly surprised when the recipient was served a scoop of gelato with a candle and a birthday wish. It was a bigger shock that we were charged $9.00 for the surprise treat that we never ordered and was served without a request. My suggestion? Ask complete questions prior to ordering and beware of celebrations!!!!!

I can’t say this is the best Italian spot I’ve ever had, but they do it justice. The portions are MASSIVE. You can easily split an appetizer and entree between 2-4 people depending on how much you want to eat. I ordered the classic rigatoni, opted for the minestrone soup, and ordered an appetizer of broccoli. Way too much food for just lil old me, but I’ll have plenty to dig into later. Also, LOOK AT THAT CHEESE PULL! 👀

Food was good, but not the best Italian I've had. BUT, the most massive portions. Honestly, I'm concerned about their margins. The photo here is AFTER 6 of us stuffed ourselves. Rachel was great! She put up will our requests, and was very proactive. Amazing service.

Great Italian food at great prices. They feed you very well. I have no idea how the parking lot at Olive Garden is full when Victoria's is only 5 miles away, waaaay better food at Victoria's

The portions are massive here. My friend got a calzone which was the biggest one I’ve seen. I got the Ravioli Emilani, which was delicious. I added a sausage to mine which was two whole sausages. Our server was very sweet and attentive and checked up on us often. The building is a little old and could use some updating, but besides that everything was great.

I come down every year for License to Cruise and it's always on the list to eat here. The staff is very friendly and personable. The food has always been fresh and tasty. Portion sizes are very generous and usually bring most of it home.

The decor is beautiful and our food came out so quickly, the soup came immediately, the appetizer barely five minutes later, and our entree only 5 after that! For dessert get the Summerberry, you will NOT regret it. And our server Rachel Odu was so friendly, checked in regularly on us and came quickly when my drink needed a refill before I even thought to ask, and had a genuine friendly smile, whatever she's getting paid it's not nearly enough.^^

We walked in the door and we were immediately greeted with a smile seated right away, ordered drinks, and they were there within seconds ordered our meals. I got the four piece fried chicken dinner and my wife got patty Melt both were very very delicious. The portions were huge had to take home some food Our server. Lacey was incredible. She made several trips by the table to refill our drinks and check on our food. Would recommend this restaurant 10 out of 10 times thank you Lacey and staff for making this an incredible dining experience

Never been to this restaurant but thought I would try it while in town. I was greeted and sat at my table promptly. The server was very pleasant and the food was yummy. I also liked the small store inside. Only gave 4 stars due to lack of variety of vegetables served with the dinners. Would have been nice to have some green beans or broccoli.

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise! When we drove by it, we thought it was closed. Our hotel person told us it was open and very good, so we gave it a try. (The door is actually in the back.) I will say that their chicken fried chicken is the best I’ve ever had! The chicken was moist and the crust was delicious! Stephanie, our waitress, took very good care of us. All the sides were yummy and plentiful.

Service was great. Server made sure our juice or any other drink was full and was very attentive to us. Food was darn good. Their eggs Benedict was almost perfect, and my son loved his food. By perfect for the eggs Benedict, I mean the eggs were poached pretty good. The hashbrown casserole was really good.

Cold morning and we pretty much had the day to ourselves. Stopped in to this local favorite. Food was delicious and service was good. I enjoy the ambiance and decor. Very farm style vibe with a small gift shop inside. Definitely a good stop if you're in the area. Ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs.... pretty darn good.

Tried it twice and never again. Food had squat for flavor. And food Temps weren't very hot. Service was friendly and nice. Even though it's maybe a 5 min drive at best from us I will not subject us to this trash food again.

We brought six family members from California there for breakfast yesterday. Loved the farm/Wisconsin vibe. Also happy they had a round table for eight, which makes it easier to talk. My three stars is for the very disappointing Bloody Marys. I thought it tasted like watered down shrimp sauce. The food was good and they especially liked the cinnamon rolls.

Overall, the atmosphere of the building was quite grand and big. Definitely has the ability to see a ton of people for large events or private events. Your food quality was OK. I had the Pullmans specialty bacon wrap tenderloin that was slightly overcooked but still very good. The square cheese curds were very good. The cheesecake at the end of the meal was also quite good. I expected a little higher on meal for where it was priced at the shrimp scampi pasta we ordered was less flavorful and dry than I expected. Their mixed drinks are average, but priced accordingly, so I have nothing to complain about the price and value match. Our waitress was great and now we consider the service to be on power.

Upon first walking into the establishment I was confused what the trolley car had to do with anything. I didn't ask either, so I'll never know! But it didn't bother me not to know. I was shocked by the beautiful river flowing right outside the door, and in envy of the folks sitting out on the patio! Ordered up a Stella Cidre - because no one ever has that available! - and enjoyed some conversation with my coworkers. Dinner was good, ordered a side salad (exactly that), and some asparagus - we all know what they look like, so no pics. My main course was actually the bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer. A tad over cooked, but delicious nonetheless! Excellent food, excellent service, atmosphere was decent (though seemed a bit dark), and the outside view was amazing! Definitely worth a visit for sure, but might I suggest a patio seat!

Pullman's was a surprise. The building is huge! We went for a "linner" so not busy at all. Service was great- attentive and had good suggestions. I requested seating near an outlet, and they were knowledgeable of what seats would be within reach and happily accommodated my request. The food was prepared quickly. *Lobster Bisque soup- good. *Crab Rangoon Dip- needed a hint of sweetness added, but was HUGE! Would be great for a table of 4 or more. *Steak sandwich & fries- typical. Good. Would recommend. *Italian Melt & Sweet P. Fries- Very good. Super yummy sweet potato fries

This is a great place to sit outside, enjoy the atmosphere, drinks and good food. The service is good and they are friendly which I appreciate. This is one of the places you can consistently have good food and drinks. The only thing that kept me from giving it a 5 for their food is that I enjoy more flavorings and spices than which they employ.

Beautiful building in a beautiful location. Service was good- not great. Food was very good except for mine- I got the citrus salmon which is a signature dish and unfortunately the salmon was cooked to the point of being dry. I felt like I did when I was a kid and my mother would cook the Turkey until it was so dry it was like chewing on cardboard to get it down. I tried my husbands, chicken Marsala and my two daughters dishes- one got the mushroom ravioli and the other got the lobster ravioli and they were all delicious. Next time I won’t order the salmon. I know their sandwiches are delicious, as are their appetizers- we got the bruschetta which we loved.

Texas Roadhouse at Appleton has good food, excellent service and great atmosphere. Visited on a Saturday evening and pretty much the restaurant was packed. We were quickly seated ay a booth by a cheerful lady and soon our server followed. Ordered the Tropical mocktail, a beer, salmon grilled, shrimp grilled and a Rib. The mocktail were only ice which was a bummer. Salmon was good and the ribs was nice too. Rib needed more sauce and so did ny mac and cheese. Decent pricing on the menu. A good place to hangout with your buddies.

I took my family for my son's birthday and treated him to a large prime rib. Unfortunately, the experience for us that night was not great. The prime rib was mostly fat, and the only acknowledgment he got from the server when he excitedly told her it was his birthday was, "Oh, good." This was supposed to be a special treat for a special day. Instead, it was just another dinner. If my son's meal had been as good as he'd hoped it would be, or if the server offered him ice cream or sang, I imagine his feelings that night might have been different. I'm not sure I'll be bringing my family back to this restaurant again.

Good service, place was packed. But if I go to a steak place, I expect a good steak. Two of us ordered medium rare and got medium well, borderline well done. The pic is the most pink I could find. Other person got a burger, ordered medium; got very well done. Baked potato was so salty I couldn’t finish it.

I'm diabetic and I asked the waitress if I could get ribs without BBQ sauce and the answer should have been NO. Even after the waitress had to go ask, the first order came out with BBQ sauce on it. They replaced the order with one that didn't have liquid sauce on it, but they failed to recognize that the ribs were glazed with BBQ sauce, so even though they weren't wet they were still loaded with sugar. I had to switch plates with my wife so I wouldn't get sick. It's pretty much unforgivable when a restaurant has a complete disregard for food safety. We did the online waitlist before leaving home. We were told 20 minute wait when we arrived. It ended taking almost an hour to be seated, so what was the point of the online waitlist? After we were seated and ordered our food we watched 3 other tables be seated, eat and leave while we waited for our food, then my order was wrong. I'd understand if we were a big party, but it was only 3 of us. Also, while we were waiting we watched a father with his young daughter at the table next to us, have to take her to the bathroom right after his food arrived. When he'd returned with her their table was cleared and someone else was seated there. It was heartbreaking to watch. I've been to Texas Roadhouse before, end even though the service hasn't been stellular it usually okay. This time I wouldn't even call it mediocre. Overall it was a terrible experience. The management and all the staff should be ashamed of themselves.

We joined the wait list online before we arrived at the restaurant and then we only waited a couple of minutes before being seated! Food was great and a good value for the money. Clean overall, but lampshades were a bit dusty (wouldn't want the dust to fall into the food). Would definitely come back!

The food is fantastic, but a bit pricy. Two burgers with sides, two sodas, and an order of cheese curds, for almost $60. I'll add this restaurant to my, once in a while, list of burger joints. Our burgers were very good. I had the steakhouse mushroom and Swiss with beer battered french fries. My friend had the cheese burger with waffle fries. I ordered my burger medium rare, and it was cooked perfectly. My friend ordered his burger medium, and it was also cooked perfectly. Unfortunately, I did not like the beer battered fries (personal taste), but the waffle fries were very good. The cheese curds were amazing. Some of the best cheese curds I've ever had. We got the house ranch and the smoky chipotle ranch dipping sauce to go with them. The house ranch was very good. The smoky chipotle ranch was even better. Service was great. The place was packed when we walked in but we were seated within a few minutes. Our server was at our table a few minutes later. Our server was very friendly. We placed our orders and had our food in about a half hour; considering how busy they were, the time from when we placed our orders to when we received our food was impressive. The atmosphere is sports bar/tap house, warm and relaxing. Big dining room with tables and wall booth's. Nice big bar with plenty of seating. Lots of different beers on tap. And the restaurant was very clean and well kept. We had a great time. Loved the food. We will definitely be back latter on down the road.

Milwaukee burger company is a regional chain, so keep that in mind. The food is decent, but it’s definitely not the best burger in Appleton. This place is known for the giant curds, get them! The sampler is a good option, just know you only get a couple of each on the bigger curds, the rest are normal sized. The burgers are decent, they have “millennial burger bar” burgers. Sometimes they come with so many toppings, you’ll need to unhinge your jaw. Whether that’s good or bad is up to you.

Perfectly good hamburger. Good cheese curds. Bloody Mary drink was just ok, but the toppings certainly were fun. The best thing was the fried shaved onions on the burger, honestly maybe the best anywhere. The rest was completely acceptable and fine.

Food was very good. I got a smash burger with fries only reason I didn't give 5 stars if the hangover, which is the burger I got, had a bit to much going on and the thick cut bacon would've been better thin and crispy. Drinks were very god as well.

Had the Fire Cheese Curds for an appetizer and a Firestarter Burger, a special for the month of October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Both were very delicious and had the perfect amount of spice for someone who enjoys spicy meals. The staff was just as wonderful and very helpful with questions about the menu. I would definitely make a return visit.

Burgers are good, hand cut fries came out cold. Bar beverage is great, not a whimpy pour. Service was fast, friendly and the waitress was on top of refills and clearing the table.

Food was fine but and the service was good. It was a very busy holiday weekend, everyone was friendly. We were disgusted by the hygiene of the workers. We sat the bar, we saw workers eating with their hands, stuffing food in their mouth and going directly to making drinks, grabbing fruit out of cups without washing hands. Should the wash rag basket be next to the water pitchers? We saw water get splashed directly from the rag bucket into the pitchers of water that was being served to customers. We Left without finishing our food.

One of the best restaurant I’ve been in Appleton! I’m from Brazil and this shrimp really reminded me the shrimps we eat on the beach 🥰 I definitely recommend it and can be shared by two! You can also eat the lettuce with this sauce, it’s really good (to let you know, this sauce is a little spicy). This Salmon was created by God, really! There is a suit/salt taste, that might come from Mashed potato (btw, incredible tasty!) And for those who wants something that makes you chew, this also brings a great broccoli! Healthy, tasty and well served dish! I LOVED! I included the check, for those who want to have an idea!

I had fish tacos and they were stuffed full. So while the plate was just under $20 for fish tacos the portion size was very good. Was a little annoyed when the appetizer was brought out then out food was brought out within a minute of each other. Server was nice.

Excellent place for a quick light lunch. Awesome choice of beers. Something for everyone. Food is excellent. Had a light lunch and sampled a high quality lager. This place doesn't disappoint. I recommend bang shrimp. Rye lager is excellent. Cool people eat here....

Burger was very watery and did not taste very well. Chicken wrap was nothing special. Packed full of cucumbers but not much for chicken. Homemade chips were just seasoned sliced potatoes but they were good. However way too many for two people. 2/10 would not recommend this place for price. Paid over $52 for less than mediocre food.

On our way thru Oshkosh and stopped becuz of the high Google review. One situation where half stars would be helpful. I would rate this place a 3.5 stars. Was hoping for a little more with the high Google rating. We were greeted by friendly staff who sat us down right away and our server was friendly, helpful amd knowledgeable. I ordered one of their ipa beers which was really good and flavorful! Food came out quick and was hot! Our food was average bar food. Hamburger came out over cooked and dry. Fries were just yiur run of mill frozen fries out of a bag. Again I guess I was expecting a little better better quality from the reviews. Don't get me wrong, it was good bar food. If I lived in the area I would come back for the atmosphere and beer and maybe try more of their food options.

Traveling through for work. A local colleague recommended this place as I don’t think there was any soul food places in Appleton, WI. The entire ascetic would lead you to believe that it was black owned but in fact it’s not. Eating soul food my entire life I’m critical of any soul food restaurant. Cluttered, chaotic, but full of blackness which I can appreciate. Service wasn’t great but wasn’t bad at all. Didn’t offer any recommendations or inquire if it was my first time dining here. The food came out hot! Ordered catfish and chicken with 2 sides: Mac and cheese and Red beans and rice. Here’s where authenticity and proximity makes a difference. This is Appleton, WI soul food. Catfish fried too hard and not enough seasoning at all. More breading than meat. The chicken had a unique flavor. It was something they used that I hadn’t tasted in fried chicken before but I couldn’t determine if I liked it or not. However the chicken was old. It wasn’t fried fresh like the fish was. The sides were bad. The Mac and cheese again had something in it that I hadn’t tasted before in Mac and cheese. It tasted like they tried to be different but I didn’t like it. And it was oily. The red beans and rice weren’t cooked down to where it needs to be. Beans need to be cooked down, I didn’t touch them. This is perfect however for where’s it located and the average customer that wants soul food they won’t know the difference or what things are supposed to taste like. I assume if you grew up eating soul food you would need to go to Milwaukee to get something real.

Saw this on Google maps while in town visiting and thought I’d give it a try. The decorations, murals , and music were all of black musicians during the blues era. It was amazing to look at and there were many conversation pieces to talk about while waiting for our food. I ordered the Kings platter and my wife ordered pecan chicken and waffles. The kings platter gave me a chance to try a little bit of everything and I really enjoyed the chicken wings and hot sauce. What I didn’t enjoy was the mac and cheese. I can’t pin point what it is but my guess is maybe American cheese? I could be wrong , but it definitely didn’t taste that good. I was told the pecan chicken and waffles were really good though! Overall we’d come back to try what else is on the menu and to hear some good music .

The food here is absolutely amazing, it's like a warm hug for your soul. The service is top-notch, and the food is just delicious. We usually visit on the weekends, and it's quite busy, especially when we come for dinner. Finding parking can be a bit of a challenge since it's street parking only. Last time, we had to park a few blocks away and take a walk to get to the restaurant. What I really appreciate is the restaurant's vibrant paint job and the lively colors inside. It adds a fantastic atmosphere to the dining experience. I can't resist coming back here every time I'm in Appleton; it's just that good.

I have been wanting to go to The Cozzy Corner since Wisconsin foodie featured them on tv. I waited a long time to make it here and it did not disappoint!!! Let’s start with the atmosphere the soul consumes this place as soon as you walk in, beautiful murals, and beautiful people greeting you as you sit down. Next stop is the food! Ohh my lord! The food is over the top! Flavors, the love and the soul that goes into the food makes the name fit. The Cozzy Corner is a place of love, great food and great atmosphere. When you walk in all are welcome and all will not leave hungry. It would be so cool to do a kitchen tour and watch the master in the kitchen throw down and make these amazing creations! We don’t have many soul food places in Wisconsin and boy are we lucky to have this one! I give The Cozzy Corner 1000 stars!

I Door Dashed Cozzy Corner because I was craving comfort food. I’m from Missouri and just hadn’t found anywhere in the area that does comfort food justice, until now. I had the two meat plate. The Cajun catfish was crispy and full of flavor, although a bit too salty. The fried chicken was delicious with a crispy skin. The greens were amazing, but would’ve been better with some pepper vinegar sauce. The macaroni and cheese was to die for! Lastly, the cornbread muffin was moist and tasty. I highly recommend Cozzy Corner! Yum!

Went for the first time with friends and family this week and it was amazing! The Service was super friendly. They catered to our requests to sub some items with no problem at all. And a big hats off to the owner/chef. We ordered the kings platter. The ribs, chicken and sausage were standouts, the sides delicious, everything well seasoned, and the banana pudding is to die for! We’ll definitely be back!

New to the area and was looking for a BBQ joint I can call my new go to place. NOT here. :( I ordered a 2 meat and sides plate. The ribs were old, burnt and inedible. The sausage wasn't sliced which took away from the eating experience. The beans were ok. Nothing to jump up and down about. The nav and cheese was ok as well. Lastly, I tried reaching out to the restaurant via email on their website and also the response form on their website but haven't heard back from them in over a week.

If you enjoy a supper club experience, George's Supper Club is for you. Excellent drinks, with a great variety of Wisconsin beers. The menu is diverse and the steaks, yum. I had a tenderloin with scallops and they were both perfect cooked. The staff at George's and friendly and courteous! Very nice people! I highly recommend a visit to George's and would suggest a reservation to avoid a wait.

Fantastic food and old school super club feel, steaks were delicious you can tell it's the specialty, and the piano bar was the icing on the cake. Bill was amazing behind the keys. Our new go to place everytime we are in town!

We have heard very good things about George's so decided to try it out for our Anniversary. It was awesome, ordered the duck ahead with our reservation (we were told to do that) and it was awesome. Had to have a grasshopper after dinner cause they looked yummy.

Great Wisconsin super club! Good drinks and awesome prime rib. Clam chowder was just ok.

George’s has always been my go to steakhouse. I am a ribeye girl and all other ribeyes used to be compared to George’s until last week. Not sure if they changed their steak provider or what. Ribeye no bone a lot of grizzle. Didn’t help that my medium rare came rare but my daughters medium filet was also rare. Have not been happy since Covid with the removal of the crudettes but this was a very disappointing experience. Time to find a new steak house after 30 years of loyalty, very sad 😢.

The Haddock was awful. The breaded Haddock had no flavor my friend said the broiled didn't either and the fries where tasteless. Not a good experience for the 4 of us and expensive.

If you love a traditional supper club, you'll love George's. Everything screams super club. Yummy old fashions. Stellar waite service. Steaks done to profection.

Pretty nice place, it's an interesting concept and they do it well. The options are pretty plentiful and I love that it's all you can eat. Good food and a show, what's not to love. 4 stars as it's an open buffet, inherently unsanitary and cross contamination. The decor and theme is also a bit tacky. The food was really good though, I'll come again if I don't get too sick tonight. P.S. do not get the crab rangoons, it's just a fat glob of cream cheese.

Great friendly atmosphere. Well attended by the staff. Food is cooked to perfection and no mushy stuff.... I mean, if you like it cooked longer, let them know, they will oblige. Love it!

HuHot serves tasty stir fry for a reasonable price. When they say Hu(HOT) they mean piping HOT. Not playing... It's always fun formulating different recipes by combining the many sauces and oils available. It's AYCE, so experiment at will. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, and it was clean.

I've eaten at HuHot numerous times over the last 15 years and always enjoyed it. While I had great service this time around, the restaurant is beginning to show its age and the cooks have lost some of their focus. While my food burned away on the grill, the kid playing with the water tried to reconstitute the burned sauces to pass the time. I'll try again in the future but this time around it just wasn't up to par.

Very good variety of ingredients, sauces. Cooked to perfection by the amazing chefs. Zach in particular made sure our food was great and we appreciated that. Our server, Sarah, was absolutely fabulous. She was super attentive, fun, efficient and made our experience extraordinary. The cheesecake was sublime. Can't wait to return!

Easily customizing your order each time is great, especially for picky eaters. I'm the type of person who orders the same thing when I go places, so it took a couple of tries to find the best combination of ingredients and sauces; but now I have "my favorite order". The rangoon are terrible: they were dripping oil when lifted off the plate, the flavor was very bland, and the dipping sauce was funky. My husband agreed everything about them was bad

Denies valid ID for alcohol just because it’s vertical orientation rather than horizontal. Don’t try and order beer even if you’re well over 21 and have a valid ID unless you have a horizontal license. Other than that, food was good as usual, they just deny paying customers what they order on zero legal basis.

An enjoyable dining experience, especially if you like showmanship. Abundant and well prepared food by attentive servers. Being on time for your reservations is essential. Parking in their private lot is easily accessed.

Good experience with my son and his cousins. Service was good. The chef did a good job trying to engage the boys. They enjoyed it and ate all their food, except the vegetables of course.

I've heard good things about the hibachi, but we had sushi and the beef tataki when we went and it was very good. Seating and atmosphere were great, service was great, and the sushi was authentic. A bit pricey for what you get, but still very good!

The food is good, the rest of the experience however is to be desired. The wait was 55 minutes which is pretty excessive, other people seated with us only had to wait 35 minutes which is annoying. Anyway once we were seated our entire table waited for the waiter for about 30 minutes seriously someone must of messed up cause finally the hostess realized we weren't being helped and got us drinks herself. Very unorganized I dont know what happened the people seated next to us were visibly upset. The food was good but the chef was not smiling was not nice. I did not feel he put on much of a show at all. That's what we come here for and wait for is the experience. Oh well, I wouldn't wait 55 minutes again that's for sure. If you want to do a job as a hibachi chef maybe smile learn to make eye contact when your talking and handing out the food just thoughts. Also I seen so many kids which i was surprised about i expected more of like an adult restaurant but just something I observed. They were running all over and playing while fire is going.

The food was good like usual and our chef Miguel was great but the reason for the 3 star service is for the server. She was nice but kept bumping into everything. She'd slam down a glass and it would clink into another glass and spill a little etc. Slamming things carelessly onto the table happened the entire duration of our meal. I understand it's extremely busy but our whole table noticed.

Amazing hibachi grill. A meal and a show. Worth the price and the meal is tasty too. I love the seafood but all dishes are great, with a sushi appetizer. Nice bar as well while waiting for your table. Worth the wait. 5 stars.

Okay, this might have been the best sushi I have ever had. I came to visit from out of state, and this was conveniently located right down the road from my hotel. I went to the sushi bar area and the atmosphere was so cool and relaxed. The server was wonderful. Best cocktail I have ever had. It was so good, I brought more people back two days later. I think this will be a new EAA Oshkosh staple when I come every summer.
