Grand Cru is a renowned wine restaurant in Monterrey, highly praised by Guillermo Gonzalez Beristain and Denise Theurel. It's known for its exquisite French-inspired menu and refined flavors, offering dishes like beet salad with foie gras, chicharron risotto, and filet Wellington. The restaurant's classic and sophisticated atmosphere makes it perfect for romantic dates or gatherings with friends. Grand Cru also offers an exceptional Sunday brunch experience.
Went for a celebratory belated birthday supper. Wait staff super attentive, and knowledgeable about food. Serving is not slow, but the dishes are made on the spot, so you do have to wait; wait staff tells you this, and lets you know which dishes should take more time to prepare and be ready. You get a free bread, and an assortment of spreads before the meal. Prices as expected, but they are worth it.
Vanilla D — Google review
Decent French wine bistro/restaurant with a cute ambiance. Complimentary bread - served warm with soft creamy butter and olive butter. Black truffle risotto - was hoping for fresh black truffle shavings on the risotto. The rice is cooked al dente and the texture creamy and rich. Chocolate tart - underwhelming for me. The crust did not taste buttery, and the sorbet didn’t add value to the dish. Sadly the best part of this dessert was the cherry. I can see this being a nice place for a date or intimate gathering. Service is swift and attentive.
Tracy C — Google review
I always struggled to find good options for dining in Monterrey. Sometimes too expensive (and not great) and other times just bad (bad!) food. We chose the 3 meal course with wine pairing, the food is consistent and well prepared and the waiter was pretty knowledgeable about wine and really attentive. Our favorite course was the dessert though, pumpkin with a cream and dehydrated lemon with an Italian vermut for pairing. The wine menu is amazing.
Gustavo P — Google review
I invited my boyfriend to celebrate his birthday and we really enjoyed the food, the service and the coziness. Preferably make a reservation in advance. If you have a chance to go on Monday they have a live jazz band.

If you're looking for a place to indulge in some high-quality craft beers and artisanal burritos, Almacén 42 is definitely worth checking out. With over 42 different beers on tap, there's something for every palate, and the staff are always happy to help. In addition, the cool atmosphere and live music make this bar an excellent spot to relax after a day spent exploring Mexico City.
Good beer and good live music, what more do you need? The bar staff were also super helpful in wrapping my glass to survive the trip back to Canada. I really appreciate them being so friendly and helpful!
Eric S — Google review
Almacén 42 has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Monterrey. From the moment you walk in, the vibe is warm, relaxed, and inviting — a perfect mix of industrial charm and cozy touches. Whether you’re coming for a casual meal with friends or just want to enjoy a drink in a good atmosphere, this place delivers. The music, the lighting, and the overall layout make it easy to settle in and lose track of time. Staff is friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which makes a big difference when you’re trying to unwind. The crowd is a good mix — locals, creatives, and people just enjoying the space — which gives the place great energy. Food and drinks? Solid. Their burgers and craft beer selection definitely stand out, but even the small bites and cocktails are thoughtfully done. You can tell they care about the details. It’s one of those places where you feel comfortable hanging out for a while. I’ll definitely be back.
David H — Google review
A local brewery in the middle of the beautiful barrio antiguo in Monterrey. We never fail to visit this place whenever we travel to do work there. The pork belly tacos are awesome. The variety of local beer offered is great, and the live music really make an excellent choice after a day of work.
Eric T — Google review
Great craft beers from Nuevo léon and Mexico ( 42 on tap and over 15 canned). Very good food and friendly staff. Cool live music! Be careful with the bill, especially if you pay by card, they seem to be not very good at calculating tips.
Marc N — Google review
Food, pork sandwich, was great. Beers are ok, tasted or had about 10, small ones, although the last one I had, a black IPA was really good which I got a larger one. Staff, very nice.
Scott C — Google review
This was quite the pleasent surprise. Right in the Barrio Antiguo, you have this casual and inviting place. Craft beers are quite well and the variety is extent, from pilsners, lagers, stouts, ales, etc. The food has great taste and goes well with the beer. Music selection is perfect and they have live performances. If you're looking for a quick bite and drink or hanging out with family and friends this place is great. Prices are perfect and the staff was very helpful when it comes to suggest what beer and food to have. Overall, had a great time and definitely coming back.

Pinto Bar, located in the Residencial Santa Barbara neighborhood of Monterrey, offers a unique ambiance with its play of shadows and light. The bar is known for its selection of beers and standout drinks featuring sake and mezcal. The simple yet perfect menu is ideal for snacking at the bar or sharing with friends at the tables. Must-try items include their famous flattened burgers and red tostadas in hot sauce as an appetizer.
Very cute spot. Oscar was our server and made a cocktail, wine and beer recommendation to our crew. The bar inside is very moody w great music. Sitting outside when there’s nice weather is key. You hear the music, and have great view of the mountains (we were here at sunset). We only tried the burger cause we had dinner reservations somewhere else, but the burger was definitely worth the stop!

Excellent place for chilling with friends and having beers or wines. the staff were super helpful and friendly and they can speak English. The cocktail beer and snacks were amazing. the burger was delicious rhe only thing is that the outside ambient is a little dark.

This mesmerizing journey into nature truly captivates the heart and soul.

Absolutely beautiful, especially when the skies are clear, without smog or such. The diversity of flora and fauna here is wonderful. Have hiked a couple times from the bottom to the level with the hotel / restaurant and playground, and also hiked around the level 3 & 4 trails by themselves too on other occasions after we have driven partially up and parked. My goal is to hike to one of the paths to the very top areas, but need some extra time (and of course the extra fee permit). This is a special gem for the cities and the people. I would be hiking here so often if I lived in the area. Lol but I’m not sure if I’d have the stamina and energy to ride my bike up nor even down. Nevertheless, a gorgeous mountain park with spectacular views.
Rob T — Google review
Very beautiful Park. The views are incredible. There are a series of paths with different effort levels. I totally recommend visiting it. Preferably arrive early in the morning to expend the whole day here.
Enrique Z — Google review
Nice park, recommend to purchase ticket before arrive. Many trail to select. Many great view and animal.
Tangmo S — Google review
Astonishing views, trails for all hiker levels, a bunch of nature and nature sounds is what you can expect. My experience there was amazing, we hiked for a total of ~6 hours (4 to get to the top of El Final and 2 getting back down)... Choose wisely the trails you'll hike the "scenery" one are less inclined but way longer whereas the "Express" ones are shorter but high inclination. My tips: - Buy entrance tickets in advance (~$70mxn) on the website - Bring water and/or water bottles. You don't need tons of water, bring one and then refill as you progress on your adventure from the water fountains - Bring bug repellent (this is nature so expect mosquitos) - Bring sunscreen : wear some before you start but as you'll be (most likely) sweating, you might need to apply a second or third time - Bring lunch / snacks : there are no stores wo you'll be able to eat ONLY what you bring. If your hike lasts more then be prepared with some food/snacks
Humberto M — Google review
Well worth it! It's was a 9 minute drive to the park entrance from our hotel, Autentico. We paid online 70 pesos each, uber dripped us at the entrance and we did a beautiful hike. We did the express route which is about 5k up and down, it is well marked and impossible to miss. There is also the easier route which is longer but much less steep. This is great for a morning hike or evening, stellar views, pine trees, woodsy feel, clean trail, and a hotel at the tip if you want to eat or have a drink. Will do a again
Charlotte R — Google review
Amazing. You can walk, ride or run with an incredible view. Take your time to rest amd enjoy the nature. One of the best views of Monterrey, just less than 20 min far from downtown. There is a hotel and restaurant.

Breath-taking views. Bring a good camera. Also the Chipinque hotel is at the very top at the end of the road. Lots of rest stops for pictures, restrooms, picnic areas and play areas for the kids. Good hiking and biking trails all for less that $5 American.

Restaurant
PANGEA is a sophisticated restaurant known for its modern take on regional cuisine and extensive wine selection. It has been a favorite among renowned chefs, offering dishes like roasted suckling pig with creamy potatoes and guajillo-scented juice, regional cheese platters, quail, black aguachile, and perfect egg with chickpeas and octopus.
Pangea was our 2nd Michelin experience (the 1st being KOLI) in Monterrey. They offer a 10-course prefix menu for 2395 MXN. This was much more of a typical dine-in experience compared to KOLI. However the food presentation was still excellent. While KOLI edges it out in the overall experience, I found the food taste at Pangea to be on par. I actually liked some of the dishes here better such as the hamachi sashimi. If I had to make one suggestion it would be to add a bit more variety to differentiate the 2 dessert courses. During our visit, both were sorbet based. I think the whole experience would have ended on a more memorable note if the 2 items had different textures.
Tom T — Google review
Food taste was great. Had the Menu del Dia with 3 courses. I chose aguachile de pulpo, rockot zarandeado and pavlova. No regrets. Service below average for a ‘Michelin’ star rated.
Luis L — Google review
We really enjoyed this restaurant. Found the flavors to be better than KOLI. Great spot!
J J — Google review
Their Michelin star is well deserved. The courteous and helpful staff were patient with my minimal Spanish skills. The atmosphere is very cool and upscale. The best of course was the food. Everything from the bread and butter to the final desserts were a delightful experience. The aguachile was so flavorful, and the steak and foie gras were cooked to perfection.
Kim E — Google review
The waitstaff was really great and accommodated my needs. I speak English, but there was no language barrier, which was really nice. I thought the food was very nice, especially the dessert, but overpriced. After looking up the restaurant later, I realized it had a Michelin star. I think the food was very good, but not Michelin level good in my opinion. Giving 5 stars for the staff and service level.
Vanessa H — Google review
An amazing culinary experience. The tasting menu and wine pairing was absolutely fantastic and well attended to by amazing and helpful staff. We loved our meal!
Kyle M — Google review
Very good food and a well deserved Michelin Star. Impeccable presentation without falling into pretentiousness, and top quality ingredients. We ordered a tuna tartare appetizer and it was a delicious way to start our dinner. We had the catch of the day and a magret de canard, both mains were excellent and everything on the plates had a harmonious relation in between. The restaurant has a simple but good kids' menu without being a junky kids' menu. The dessert, a mango-coconut take on traditional flavours was surprisingly good, it looks a little bit on the weird side but nevertheless good. Service was slow and not consistent, it is probably the only downside of the experience dining at Pangea. The hostess and the first server to greet you were good and attentive but after that, a very uneven service. But overall it was an amazing experience. Will definitely be back.
Juan M — Google review
This place was great. Really good service, always attentive. The food as a whole was really good, but I felt like it was too elaborate as well. I think one or two elaborate plates would’ve been enough but it was everything. The tomato salad and pâté are a must. One very fresh and the other very smooth. The tomato pasta was delicious, definitely one of their best dishes. The mains were all good. Specially the duck leg with gnocchi, which I’m not usually a fan of but I was pleasantly surprised. The desserts were both good and nicely portioned.

The venue is meticulously designed to celebrate love, providing an unforgettable ambiance for a dreamy night out. Additionally, this exclusive space serves as a versatile location for hosting special social events with carefully crafted drinks and delicious food.
Amazing view with delicious food and attentive service. From the attention on the complimentary valet parking downstairs to the ease of getting our table (reserved beforehand) and ordering, the experience was very pleasant overall. The food is also quite tasty, and has a bit of everything to accommodate multiple tastes—same with drinks. They accept all major credit cards.

2.5 weeks I was here to take my sister for a birthday celebration it was supposed to be a special night but we did not receive attentive service and unfortunately our dinner was not very good for the price we paid. The salmon did not taste well and my sister was served some fish tacos with burnt tortillas. I left very disappointed on the dinner (barely eat any of the salmon) and on the service received. I would not recommend this place unless you are there for the view and the drinks.

From the cozy private tables, to the presentation of the meat cuts it is a experience. Then the view from the top. Your allowed to sit and casually walk around, then you can light a cigarette or a cigar take in night air. I Love Monterrey night lift.

The ladies downstairs are so nice but… that doesn’t take away from the fact I was denied entrance for wearing shorts. - I believe this should be written somewhere or give people heads up… I had gone into TikTOk to try and find a great bar to spend my money since I am on vacation… and had noticed in some video a guy wearing shorts so I didn’t think it would be an issue. BUT IT WAS - Disappointed of course… because as a tourist they need to be more transparent about their rules… I would had understood if it was a busy time… but it was Monday evening…. anyways. Even if I ever visit Monterrey again. Would probably not want to spend money on a place like this. Ps: I also must mention I was wearing luxury clothes items so it’s not like I looked like a bum. I just need to clarify that before it gets taken out of context.

Restaurant is super nice with Superb service Has an extraordinary view of the city, even at night. It has an extraordinary Atmosphere. A good place for a romantic dinner. The bar on the rooftop has a very good vibe and good music. The down side is on windy and hot days. The food is good, but the menu is limited. Cocktails are also delicious, try Stairway to Haven made with Mezcal

Vini the Bar is a relaxed spot known for its great selection of cocktails, wines, and food. It often hosts events with different themes to explore new possibilities of spirits, drinks, and flavors. The bar offers a low-key atmosphere and excellent service. The bartender Raul is highly praised for his welcoming and knowledgeable approach in creating perfect drinks. With delicious food options including vegetarian choices, it's a favorite place in downtown Monterrey to unwind with friends.
We’re gonna miss Raul at their sister bar “Triste bar” The service was exceptional and he took care of us. He guided us on our drink experience and did not disappoint with his recommendations. The vibe was great and worth the speakeasy vibe. Unfortunately, we did not try the food but the head chef is a character and ask about his hat pins.
Joshua C — Google review
A chill bar with decent drinks, great music, and friendly service. The entrance is a bit hard to find, with no real sign indicating a bar on the dark, unlit street—almost giving it a speakeasy feel. Once inside, the blast of AC welcomes you, along with a server who acknowledged us and had us wait at the back while a table opened up. There’s a small standing area where you can order drinks while waiting. The menu was given via QR code (not a fan of that). We ordered a Fritz and a beer, and they didn’t take long to arrive. The Fritz was decent but nothing spectacular (7.5/10). The back area of the bar had a relaxed vibe, and soon enough, we were seated at the front, which was just as chill. The music was great, and the bartenders were attentive, checking in on us and keeping our water refilled. Atmosphere: 10/10. Service: also great—until we decided to order beers, only to find out they were all room temp. That was a bit of a letdown, so we wrapped up our visit and paid, though it took a bit to flag someone down. Overall, a very chill spot. I’d definitely return to try other cocktails because the atmosphere is what really made the visit.
Alberto R — Google review
We loved our experience here! We go to speakeasies often and this bar had the elements we enjoy from speakeasies: low key, a little hidden, great cocktails, the interactions with the staff was awesome, and we had a wonderful time. Our bartender and mixologist Raul was so welcoming and knowledgeable, helped make the perfect drinks for us. Highly recommend for a good time without the craziness of a busy loud bar.
Andrea C — Google review
The place is small but with enough tables, indoors and outdoor. They have a full bar with an international menu. The food is delicious although it is more like entres. Highly recommended the tiradito de portobello. Parking is on the street. Attention, there’s no sign of the bar outside! However, the black metal door with some stickers on the window is open during operations hours, just open the door and come on in.

Restaurant
Cuerno Calzada is a sophisticated restaurant and bar that offers fine dining experiences in Mexico. Established in 2018, it has gained a reputation for being one of the best fine and casual dining establishments in the area. Under the direction of Chef Michel Jose Ruiz Ramirez, Cuerno is known for its Noreste-style grill and artisanal menu featuring premium cuts, seafood, and appetizers like rib-eye bone marrow, crispy pork tacos, and campechana cake.
The service was exceptional, we went in for brunch. From the beginning the staff presented themselves in a professional and engaging manner. The ambiance was both cozy and intimate, enhancing the overall dining experience. Thank you, Jared and Hector, for your exceptional service.

Cuerno is undoubtedly a destination-worthy restaurant, and our meal there (we were celebrating my nephew’s college graduation) was exceptional in many ways. The food alone justifies a visit: standouts included the chicharrones de pulpo (a must-order appetizer) and the pulpo zarandeado, along with flawlessly cooked short ribs and steak. While the steak and ribs could have benefited from accompanying sides, their generous portions and quality made this a minor note. Even the cocktails, though slightly milder than I prefer, were well crafted. That said, at this caliber of restaurant, I’ve come to expect service that matches the culinary excellence. Unfortunately, our waiter seemed stretched thin, with delays in drink orders, a prolonged wait to place our meal, and an overall lack of attentiveness (perhaps due to larger tables taking priority) dimmed the experience slightly. Still, Cuerno’s kitchen delivers brilliance on the plate, and I’d wholeheartedly recommend it. With a bit more focus on seamless service, it could truly shine as the five-star experience it aspires to be.

It was my first time visiting this place for breakfast, and I was pleasantly surprised—it maintains the same quality as its lunch and dinner offerings. The ambiance is elegant, the service is excellent, and the food is flavorful. Compared to other breakfast options, the prices are very reasonable, and you’re guaranteed a high-quality experience. I also loved that their American coffee comes with refills! Contrary to what one might expect, the place wasn’t crowded at all, making for a relaxed and enjoyable morning.

Everything was good here except for the table side tacos, they weren't that great meaning they were not worth the money, needed some salt. The Arrachera con Tuetano was outstanding, so tender and tasty wow. Free dessert on my wife's bday was a nice surprise also. All but the table side taco's were great even the octopus was fantastic and would definitely recommend this place and can't believe how many reviews they have my goodness. And that many reviews with 4.9 stars says volumes about the restaurant. Get here if you can!

Absolutely, hands down, best meal I've had in my life. Service unmatched. Atmosphere incredible. I can die happy now.

This place was amazing!! We just got into Monterrey and the taxi driver highly recommended. Gregorio and Jare were exced our spectations. Attentive, courteous and this is how every place should be. Everything that we ate was very tasty. Salsa super good and fresh. I can’t stop talking about it ☺️ Super Rico todo. Es la mérito comida mexicana que he probado en mi vida. Gregorio y Jare se pasaron de amables.

Our experience at Cuerno was truly exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone for an unforgettable evening… warm, elevated, and full of energy. Jorge, Mario, and Ricardo went above and beyond for our group. They were incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and guided us through the menu with genuine care… making thoughtful recommendations and ensuring every detail was perfect from start to finish. The food was outstanding…. every dish was beautifully executed, full of flavor, and clearly crafted with intention. It’s rare to find a place that nails both service and culinary experience at this level, but Cuerno exceeded every expectation. My team and I left absolutely impressed and already can’t wait to return. Highly, highly recommend.

Gallo 71 is a must-visit restaurant in San Pedro Garza Garcia, offering a unique focus on high-quality grilled meats and vegetables. The menu features inventive takes on familiar dishes like tacos and steak, as well as vegan options. The establishment provides a chic and modern dining environment with an alternative music vibe. It's known for its delicious tacos arabes with pastor meat, truffle fries, cauliflower steak, and an enormous carrot cake.
Definitely the best Mexican in town! I especially loved their cauliflowers, beef tacos and the blueberry cheesecake. The ambiance is so nice.

Good Service, The Arrachera Steak was fenomenal & the Cheesecake delicious. The Paloma or as they call it, the Gavilan was a good drink option.

We were referred to Gallo 71 by a friend, and it turned out to be one of the best. We loved it so much that we came here for dinner twice. The food is absolutely delicious everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. From the perfectly seasoned tacos and crispy octopus to the roasted beet salad, fried bites with creamy dipping sauce, and the tacos al pastor with grilled pineapple every dish was outstanding. A special mention to our waiter, Salvador, who was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home both times we visited. His warm service really elevated our experience. We highly recommend Gallo 71 for anyone visiting the city.

The service here was exceptional. Someone was always at the ready to help. The minute we sat down at the table the waiter recommended some drinks from the bar to get us started. They were very accommodating throughout the whole service. The salad was very fresh. The bone marrow was delicious and the tortillas were perfectly warm. The steak was delicious and cooked to perfection, with the side of cauliflower perfectly roasted. The cake was delicious but a bit big and de absent. I highly recommend this place.

Good food and service, portions are normal/small. Meat dishes are great, the menu is not huge but every dish is guarantee it will be good.
Ana C — Google review
A colleague brought us to this restaurant for dinner, and I didn't have any particular expectations, but I was truly impressed! Every dish we ordered was outstanding. To start, we had scallops, which were my favorite, and tacos. The salsa that came with the scallops took it to the next level. The tacos weren't your typical street tacos, but they were excellent. Among the two, I particularly loved the tacos de trompo (Al pastor). For our main course, we chose the Ribeye and Arrachera. While the Ribeye was good, the Arrachera was exceptional, grilled to perfection, incredibly juicy, and bursting with flavor. We ended the meal with a nice blueberry cheesecake that came in a generous portion. The service was exceptional, with attentive staff.

A stunning first time ‘Mexican food in Mexico’ experience! Although not the classic Mexican restaurant it was a great fusion experience of street food meets Mexican steakhouse done to a high standard, service was attentive & personable. Highly recommend, I will be going back.

The color, balance, and taste that the food in this restaurant offers is unmatched. Rib eye burger was unlike any, cooked perfectly and having all elements of the burger on point for an exquisite bite. Truly a recomendable site for those who seek high-end cuisine whilst also getting the best service and attention at the table.

Well appointed interiors. Come hungry! The waitstaff couldn’t be more helpful, a team of 4 waited on us taking their time to answer our questions and explain the menu. Vegetarian options, everything plated with attention to detail. The grilled vegetables could have been the cover shot for a food magazine. Large space with several tvs playing videos and sports. Music throughout with lively vibe.

Holsteins San Pedro is a trendy establishment that offers a variety of high-quality meats cooked using different methods, accompanied by a well-stocked bar and an exclusive whiskey room. This fashionable eatery in the Valle of Monterrey provides patrons with true first-class dining, complete with impeccable flavors and impressive entertainment. The menu boasts standout dishes like the delectable picanha, perfectly grilled beetroot, and an intriguing 'corn on the cob' ice cream that resembles real corn.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Holstein Steakhouse, and it truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm, attentive service that set the tone for an unforgettable meal. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between sophistication and comfort, creating an ideal setting for a special occasion or just an elevated night out. The star of the evening was undoubtedly the steak. I opted for a ribeye, and it was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The quality of the meat was exceptional, and you could tell this was premium, expertly-sourced beef. Each bite melted in my mouth, seasoned just enough to enhance, not overpower, the natural richness of the cut. Their sides, like the truffle mac and cheese and roasted vegetables, were fantastic complements, bringing a gourmet touch to classic steakhouse staples. When it comes to pricing, Holstein may be on the higher end, but it’s worth every penny. Given the quality of the ingredients, the skillful preparation, and the flawless service, I felt it was excellent value. This isn’t just a steakhouse; it’s a full experience, one that truly deserves a spot on the list of top steakhouses worldwide. Whether you’re a steak aficionado or simply looking for an outstanding dining experience, Holstein is well worth the visit.
Lee F — Google review
A fancy meat restaurant with really nice beef and great service. This "mother bread" starter is actually the most interesting thing to me, with different little buns in this bigger bread. The score is actually pulled down by the tacos, which I find very ordinary. The soft shell crab taco is okay I guess, maybe a 7/10, but the beef taco is very ordinary for a place this fancy. The service is terrific though and the staff do put on a subtle but nice show of serving the food.
Skyy S — Google review
This steakhouse was definitely a solid choice to bring your date or family. It's not casual dress so be sure to look your best. The ribeye steak was succulent and wwe were able to sear it to perfection on the hot coal at the table. The pasta was very delicious as well as the beef tacos for the appetizer. The service was great but it got crowded at the last hour or so of the meal. If you are at the mall and need an expensive steakhouse to splurge at, this is a great place.

A luxury dining experience in Monterrey, worth visiting for the drinks alone! We stayed at the Westin next door, so it was a very simple walk over. Every dish and drink came with exquisite presentation and care from the staff. The bread even came with a quick story and multiple rolls inside the sourdough “mother”. The wagyu fondue was to die for, as was the lobster Mac and cheese. I will be dreaming about both of those for a long time coming!! My steak was literally perfect, so tender and flavorful with the rock salt. And they sliced it in front of us! Beef Wellington was not my cup of tea but my partner thought it exceptional. Felt like we were in an episode of “is it cake” with our “toilet paper” dessert - it was really neat and the whole thing was edible and the cake itself was rich and moist. We wanted the ice cream corn on the cob but they were out 😢 The drinks were just phenomenal, with the ducky bathtub so cute with the ceramic tub and little light. The limoncello drink I had was so so good; I definitely would order again.

Best steakhouse in town, likely so in Mexico and one of the top ten in Latam. Ask for Ivan (the tall one) and you’ll be delighted with an excellent service and his expert advise… order a rib eye, a t-bone or whatever you fancy, you cannot fail at Holsteins! Perfect meat cooked at you preference and perfect service.
Carles A — Google review
Service was fenomenal, atmosphere is beautiful, all dishes we picked were pretty "show style" meaning the server will do a presentation, gyosas were good, bread was great, as per steak itself we do not believe is as good as expected, our steak have strong fibers and been a very $$$$ steak house should be nothing but tender mouth delightful, maybe not our luck. Cocktails were also pretty good taste and presentation.

This place has the best taco with bone marrows with fresh tortillas. The services was great and the atmosphere is amazing. They have a good wine collection. They don't have a Indio Beer or Carta blanca, XX amber. They just have Corona. MODELOS, Pacifico. But after all great services and good food.

David G — Google review
We had a business dinner at this Cantina La No 20 restaurant in Monterrey last night, which was a total disappointment. I had to look for someone to seat us, which took about 10 min., then we waited about 45 minutes before our order was taken not to mention I had to flag someone down again. The restaurant wasn’t even a fourth busy when we walked in. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were terrible. Too dark that we needed our phone lights to read the menu. Even the waiter put his phone lights on for the guests seated at the table behind us as he was describing dishes. First our drink order. Two of us ordered the Ámbar fruit drink which was not what we were served at all. I mentioned it to the waitress who called a higher up who insisted that we had gotten the right drink. I showed him their own menu and I mentioned there was only maybe a hint of maracuyá and pineapple flavor and a few pineapple chunks. It was basically all water and ice. Definitely not what is pictured and much less what is described on the menu. He proceeded to admit they use syrups and not fresh fruits. He brought me the syrup bottle so that I could flavor it to my content. Yuck! And that was so extremely rude and insulting. I told him I didn’t want it and he offered a fruity replacement with whatever fruit he would have in the kitchen. I got frozen chunks of fruit in water, to which I decided to say nothing more. I should have known that the food was not going to be any better. My arrachera/rib eye tortilla tacos were literally drenched in lard like grease. The meat was a thin sliced who knows what kind of meat, but not ribeye. Everything at this restaurant was awful.. How can it be that it has 4.7 star rating? We are all staying at the Westin right next door and the rib eye tacos at the restaurant in the hotel were very good. We all were very displeased and totally disappointed with Cantina La No. 20 restaurant. The ratings were very deceiving. I do not recommend this restaurant at all and we would have left had it not been such a long and tiring work day for us at the Cintermex convention center and it being about 9pm. Terrible experience.

Food is excellent, drinks are amazing, and the wait staff were so friendly. I have an allergy to red meat and in Monterrey it has been difficult to find many items with chicken. Very lovely ambiance with friendly sercice. No rush, a large menu with great variety, generous portions, and very delicious! We loved the pork and black molè, and mezcal crema with peanut chocolate cake for dessert.

The food is average, not even close to what we had in Oaxaca. Both chicken and pork are over cooked and dry. Very little service and didn’t provide napkin. Horchata tastes like it’s made with powder.

Amazing mole and tostada dishes and very cool atmosphere. There was very little English spoken, but one person who could helped us out. So cool place. Loved the food. Sure I'll be back!
S S — Google review
Delicious with a very cute atmosphere. We were the only people at the restaurant on a late Thursday night. The Chamorro Sin Madre (315 ps) was the highlight dish that was tender and succulent in a way that other similar pork osso bucco dishes have not been. The mole (305 ps) was good but the chicken on it could have been a throw away since the chicken breast was so dry. I did love the rice that was served with it. It was like chicken noodle soup but condensed into rice seasoning. If you get the tlayuda (285 ps), eat it first before the other dishes come in since the crust will get chewy and difficult to eat if you let it sit around. The sauces here are delicious! Even the chips served at the beginning came with a mole that was absolutely delicious!
Brian S — Google review
Only dish worthy is the black bean soup Everything ese is bland and comes cold. What really is bad was service The waiter brings coffee Does not even ask if we drink it black. Just assumes Also when I mention coffee is Luke warm he says “you should have said something “ Cold tortillas Food is not authentic. Microwave at best The deco of place is nice, unfortunately the service and cold food made our worse experience in Monterrey in food. Wish I had gotten waiters name which made a maybe ok experience, bad.

SIBAU is a high-end international cuisine lounge restaurant created by chef Bruno Oteiza, known for its unique and versatile concept. The restaurant offers various spaces and ambiences, including a striking terrace with a wide cocktail menu and vibrant greenery accents. Signature dishes like hamachi pastor tostadas, tamarind and guajillo short rib, and creamy lemon pie are among the highlights.
We both tried the tasting menu and we both were very happy with it...After reading reviews before hand we decided to start with the habanero cream... It was just spicy enough and served in a bread bowl that we really liked...Yes the portions are small on the tasting menu however the dishes had so many levels of texture and flavor that I couldn't wait for the next plate...if I had any complaint I did not like the decor way to dark and terribly uncomfortable chairs.
David B — Google review
It had been a long time since I experienced something so delightful. Sibau offers a true culinary journey where every bite bursts with flavors, each one perfectly balanced and thoughtfully crafted. The service is just as exceptional—the staff take the time to explain each dish in detail and are always kind, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. Among the dishes we tried, I can confidently say these were the best ravioli we’ve had in the city—rich, flavorful, and unforgettable. Every plate reflects both creativity and precision, making the whole experience memorable. Considering the outstanding quality of the food, the prices are more than fair, and I would gladly return to explore more of the menu. Sibau is without a doubt a place worth revisiting and recommending.
Barbara J — Google review
The service here was excellent, there was always a waiter ready to attend us. The food was really good as well. We were treated with some delicious bite sized pies es before even ordering. Then started with the ibérico pork ham with some tomato bread. Next we had a crunchy, spicy roll. Both ceviches were delicious, though I leaned more towards the lubina with tiger milk. We ordered some tostadas and tacos which were delicious and they also had some really nice sauces. Lastly we had some fried calamari which had a very colorful and tangy sauce which I loved. All that accompanied with some Parmesan fries.

Really different from what you’ll typically find in MTY in terms of flavor. Love their creativity. (The food is great). Would come back.

Very posh location. Staff was friendly and very attentive. Definitely somewhere to go hangout with a group of friends for drinks. The food was good, lots of mixed flavors. Modernized kitchen with an "artist" approach at plating kept every dish interesting.
Sonny — Google review
Monterrey’s newest hotspot is here and the “fresa” crowd has come out to play. But like most shiny objects, when you look beyond the spectacle it’s hard to find much significance. While Sibau’s fancy veneer and glam are great for the Gram, its menu inevitably disappoints. (Although, the ceviche app and corn cake dessert were a pleasant surprise.) With its crazy prices and its horribly uncomfortable dining chairs, you’ll be sure to leave with your backside broken. So inevitably, I’ll classify this as “caro por gusto” and encourage my sensible friends to stay away. But if you’re looking for “peligro,” there’s plenty to go around in Sibau.

Excellent service and food. Vegetarian options for appetizers and a very tasty salad. Good size portions. Patio is really nice as well!

Service was very efficient. Indoor and outdoor seating. Good ambience, not too loud. Amazing varied menu, everything seemed tasty however portions are most likely to share so it is better to go with someone. I enjoyed the tacos tiesos, good filling and sauces, the lechon empanada was interesting, good sauce as well. Delicious chilaca taco. The guava pie was giant and very tasty. Prices vary, some dishes are a bit pricey but others are cost benefit. A must in Monterrey.

The place is awesome to extremely welldone cocktails and good authentic Mexican food! The service at the bar is exceptional, a big shout out to El Pollo, Sixto and their crew, you guys made my night yesterday! (Thanks for the drinks and the stories. It totally changed my perception about Mezcal and how to drink it properly!) I’ll come back whenever I visit Monterrey again for sure!

My lunch experience here was perfect. Service was excellent and all the meals we ordered were delicious. If you love margaritas, you will enjoy the refreshing Tijuana Margarita. And if mezcal is your preference, the Jamaico cocktail is a good choice. We enjoyed sitting in the air-conditioned glass enclosed patio area which allowed a panoramic view of the outdoors.

I am no fan of overly and unjustified expensive food, I greatly think it is over promised and under delivered. But boy oh boy I have never eaten in a place like this so delicious before. 1. It is homey and fancy at the same time, things that don’t usually go together. But I can’t believe how enjoyable it was to be there for a third time. The place is so interesting, I rarely wasn’t looking around. 2. The food is just impeccable and original. Even though it is hard enough to achieve a flavorful dish, to achieve it in such and original and creative way, just left me flabbergasted. 3. The service is just “extra”. But not in a bad way, in an incredibly enjoyable way. The waitress got out of her way to explain to my friend how the fish was brought fresh, and was answering questions for almost five minutes, and she did it with smile. Also, the waitress knew exactly what she was selling. She was more of a connoisseur than a waitress! She new words I had to look up in order to understand the description of the flavor of the sauce of a dish, and I am a very literate person in “food” language. 4. The valet parking was perfect, almost no delay, thanks to the proximity of the parking place. Disclaimer, the pictures were taken the first time I went. The second and third I didn’t had my phone with me. And didn’t have the opportunity to take a picture of the menu. But believe me, it is expensive, be prepared.

Mexican restaurant
Koli, a restaurant owned and operated by the Rivera Rio family in Monterrey, Mexico, is a must-visit for food enthusiasts. The establishment offers a full tasting menu that promises an exceptional culinary experience with delightful flavors and expertly paired wines. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect, from glassware to temperature control. The name "Koli" holds cultural significance as it means grandfather in Nahuatl, reflecting the brothers' tribute to Northeastern Mexico's culinary heritage.
If you're looking for more than just an ordinary dinner, this is the place. The way they play with flavors and the presentation of the dishes is truly amazing. I highly recommend trying the 13-course menu; it's absolutely worth it.
Hector A — Google review
The food is among the very best in the city and the service is also excellent. Plates are creative adaptations of actual regional cuisine, with modern techniques. A very small detail, staff is not very good at adapting to even minor requests out of script.
Ricardo C — Google review
I had a pleasant experience at this restaurant overall. The service was excellent—staff were attentive, friendly, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, which added to the positive vibe. As for the tasting menu, it was decent but not particularly memorable. The flavors were fine, but nothing really stood out or wowed us. It felt like the kitchen played it a bit safe, and I found myself wishing for a bit more boldness or creativity in the dishes. Still, for the great service and solid experience, I’d definitely consider returning. Just don’t come expecting a culinary revelation.
J J — Google review
Fun, inventive, creative, and an experience. We truly loved our meal at Koli and can’t wait to return. The meal experience was one of a kind. We loved the ambiance and the service. Great job by the staff.
Kyle M — Google review
During our quick long weekend getaway to Monterrey, we made it a point to visit the 2 Michelin star restaurants in the city. Koli was our stop #1 of 2. The reservation process was very easy on their website and there were quite a few open spots within a few days' notice. We were treated to a 13-course prefix menu. While I cannot name all the dishes, the highlights for me were the creamy appetizer in the eggshell shaped container inside of a bird'a nest, the charcoal ball thingy, and the green volcano shaped dessert accompanied by a bat's habitat inside of a glass ball with added sound effect. Each dish came with its own set of custom shaped utensils and unique backstory was beautifully narrated by the waiters. I cannot get over how over the top the presentation was throughout this entire experience! For 2000MXN (~$100USD as of Feb 2025), this was an experience that cannot be missed if you visit Monterrey.
Tom T — Google review
Service was good, attentive and polite. Variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and pairings. The venue was cozy and modern. Great to seat next to the open kitchen to see the action. Overall, the nine course menu was good, relatively well balanced, although some dishes could improve (too much jocoque in general and the chocolate dessert was super pretty and original but very overwhelming with sweetness and chocolate could not even finish eating it). Loved the name of the dishes and the whole explanation for each.
Monica R — Google review
The food it is outstanding and the service and food explanation shows the dedication of all the staff. I would go again.
JORGE R — Google review
My recent dining experience at KOLI, featuring a 13-course meal, was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I knew I was in for a treat. The opportunity to sit at the chef's table and witness the culinary magic firsthand was a privilege in itself. Walking through the kitchen and seeing the chefs in action added an exciting element to the evening. It was fascinating to observe their precision and passion as they crafted each dish with meticulous care. As for the food, it was simply sensational. Each course was a masterpiece, showcasing a perfect balance of flavors, textures, and creativity. Every dish was a delight for the senses. Overall, my experience at KOLI Monterrey's chef's table was unforgettable. It was a culinary journey like no other, where I not only enjoyed the best food but also had the privilege of witnessing culinary excellence in action. I would highly recommend KOLI Monterrey to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience in Monterrey.

Doble B is an outstanding steakhouse in Mexico City that offers an exceptional dining experience. The service provided by the hosts is top-notch, and the food they serve is incredibly delicious. Their Angus steak, cooked on a Himalayan salt table, has a unique flavor reminiscent of wagyu beef. The crab appetizer is also delightful. Additionally, their rib eye rolls with vegetables and guacamole are mouthwatering.
Excellent service, and the food it’s just really tasty. We had a rib eye rolls with vegetables, some guacamole and a dessert cheesecake and it was just amazing. We couldn’t stop eating the dessert. The service is excellent and on fridays the mood is really good to relax and being like in a party mood.

Excellent steakhouse in Mexico City. Went there on Business and my hosts took me here. The experience was superb and service was excellent. I had the angus (which tasted almost like wagyu for some reason) which is flamed on a Himalayan salt table. I had a crab appetizer. I don’t remember the name but it was great.

The place was a little crowded and the service was slow. The food is good and has a good variety of drinks. The music mix is good, but not great for the environment. It is not intended for having a conversation, but listening the sound without a dancing place. This bar is oriented to customers in their 20's and early 30's.
Humberto V — Google review
The food was great however, after we paid a different server/part of the wait staff approached our table and told us we had not tipped enough. We tipped extra but after that I went to the host stand and told them what happened and they said there is no minimum tip required. The manager came out and said the staff should not have done that. The manager was extremely curteous and offered to refund us our entire meal multiple times however people should still be aware of these tricks, beware.

Cafe Belmonte Bar is a charming spot located in the heart of Monterrey, offering a variety of hot and cold beverages. It's an ideal place for brunch with its diverse menu featuring items like sincronizadas, tacos, salads, chilaquiles, pastas, and sandwiches. The cozy interior provides a comfortable setting for remote work or intimate gatherings with friends or loved ones.
We came for breakfast brunch and coffee. Everyone’s coffee and dishes were great. Cute and classy interior. It was a perfect blend of modern and antique. They did a great job conserving the architecture used in this part of town with their exposed large blocks throughout the interior.

It's a discreet location but very nice, relaxing and charming once you go inside. There's a waterfall behind a window that reaches all the way upstairs where they operate a bar in the evenings I had the Tres Regios (3 different meat tacos on blue corn tortilla) and my girl had the Mollete. Everything was very delicious and fresh. The drinks were also very tasty and well made. But the one thing that stood out was the excellent service. Very sweet and patient waiters

La Chunga is a Mexican restaurant located in a vibrant area called Barrio Antiguo. It offers various features for business owners, such as updating profile details, adding photos, and responding to reviews. The restaurant is well-regarded for its pleasant ambiance and cool indoor seating option. While enjoying the atmosphere, customers can choose from an assortment of dishes, including Marlin tacos that are generously filled with large pieces of fish, cilantro, and pineapple chunks.
We have come here for lunch and for dinner. Both times, we had great food served by friendly servers. This place is located at the historic barrio antiguo.
Amy L — Google review
LA Chunga boasts a cozy atmosphere that is particularly appealing to younger groups, conveniently located adjacent to Mercado Street, which leads directly to the scenic river walk. While we appreciate the ambiance and location, it's important to note that the entrance may not be accessible for individuals with disabilities. The staff at LA Chunga are welcoming, friendly, and go out of their way to accommodate guests, enhancing the dining experience. The cuisine is delightful, offering a good taste that satisfies. However, guests should be prepared for a longer wait time for food preparation, which, while it reflects the care put into each dish, may require some patience. Overall, the experience at LA Chunga is commendable for those looking for a warm and inviting dining atmosphere coupled with attentive service.
Miha Z — Google review
I come quite often to this place. However will stop now. There is a waiter that is extremely unpolite and it seems that he is unhappy to be there. He brought a chicken dish by mistake to a friend which is vegetarian, and my friend not knowing ate a piece of it. When the waiter realised the mistake he changed the plate and wanted to charge it anyway. The restaurant was empty, and yet the service was lousy. I eat always the Pescado al Ajillo, and everyday it comes with different ingredients, there is no standard. In a nutshell, lousy service from waiter and lazy employees sitting on the tables on their phones. Too bad, because the location is good.
Felipe S — Google review
The food was okay. The veggie burger and guacamole was pretty good but enchiladas were poor. Cold cheese in side the tortilla. Annoyingly the waiter added his own tip at the end and taped the contactless card for me. It was extortionate but pretty poor practise.

This is at the four corners of the most happening area in Barrio Antiguo. I would recommend sitting outside but I sat inside today and it was nice and cool. I had a shot of whiskey which came out to $6usd and was quite small and wasn't worth it, but this isn't a bar. I ate Marlin tacos and they were pretty good. Nice big chunks of Marlin, cilantro and chunks of pineapple. The only downside is it had no salsa and was quite dry. I used the salsa that came with chips and it turned our great. Service is also excellent here, I would recommend it!

I did not get to see anything inside this place lol because we sat outside in a small table. It was very cute sitting outside watching as people walked by. Tasty food, nice concept. Prices for pokes are way overpriced to not have any protein. Burgers are ok but still overpriced for the size. I ordered certain mineral water and they brought me one that costed double the price because they "ran out" of the other one

Good hamburger place, has a gastropub-like feel: has a wide selection of beers and cocktails, but relatively small menu. Try the chemita burger, pomegranate guacamole, and picafresa sorbet. Very good service and nice outdoor seating if the weather isn't too hot.

Fashion Drive is a vibrant shopping destination that perfectly blends luxury and leisure, making it a must-visit for both locals and tourists. Nestled just south of the city center, this multi-level mall boasts an impressive lineup of high-end retailers like Lacoste, Steve Madden, and Banana Republic alongside trendy boutiques. Visitors can indulge in a diverse culinary experience with restaurants offering everything from sushi to pizza. The entertainment options are equally enticing, featuring an arcade and a multi-screen cineplex for family fun.
If you like malls, this is a good one to check out. It's a pretty huge mall. I walked over for a while and probably didn't cover up to 50%. I was told there are 4 plazas to the mall, which makes sense. There's a more modern part then an older looking part. They have 4 floors on one side and 2 or 3 levels for garage parking. Parking isn't free. There's a food court, big grocery store, escape room, cinema, many restaurants, and more! They have a lot of American stores, some local stores, mom-and-pop kind of stores, etc. Not sure if it's because it was a holiday, there were many people for a Monday afternoon.
Ann S — Google review
This mall is massive! If you’re a foreigner, make sure to carry some pesos in cash—you’ll need them to pay for parking. It’s a small fee, but U.S. cards typically don’t work at the parking machines. Other than that, your card should work just fine everywhere else.

This establishment was previously exclusive to men, but fortunately, it underwent a transformation and now serves as a popular destination for delectable tapas and enjoyable beverages. Botanero Moritas Santa Lucía is located at Juan Ignacio Ramón 852 Oriente Centro in Monterrey, N.L., Mexico. The restaurant provides excellent service and offers a wide variety of delicious dishes. The staff is attentive, friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and provides helpful recommendations.
Absolutely amazing! Decor, ambiance, space, food! All of it. This is a nice place for an evening date. Prices are on the higher end. Yet, everything we had tasted great, fresh and light. The way have plenty of seating indoors. There was seating outside too, but I’m not sure if it’s from the same establishment.

Great place to share with friends. And the food is superb. I tried the salmon and it was cooked with tomato and some spicy things and served in a hot metal dish, and it's super delicious!

We were the first guests here in the new year 2025. The food and service were the best among the few restaurants we visited in Monterrey. The ambient was good though a little dark. The chips and salsa were very yummy as well.

La Galería Café is a top Italian restaurant in Monterrey's downtown area, offering a spacious dining experience with three sections: the dining room, terrace, and bar. The menu features a variety of options including different types of bread, customized salads, savory and sweet crepes, traditional and innovative pastas like their famous white wine pasta. Additionally, they offer hot and cold coffee-based drinks.
LOVE La Galeria Cafe!! It is a magical location in Barrio Antiguo, located directly on the pedestrian street Morelos. The specialty here are the drinks, and the MARTINIS! 2x1 martinis in Thursdays. Every single drink is delicious. The menu is also really special, with many tasty options. The cherry on top is the friendly and fantastic service. One of my favorite places in Monterrey.

Malecón Habana is a vibrant spot with an authentic Cuban vibe. The food offers a mix of Cuban and Mexican flavors, with most dishes hitting the mark. Live music sets the perfect tone, featuring a cover band that captures the essence of Cuban music. The staff provides excellent service, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. On Thursday nights, visitors can enjoy live music while savoring delicious food and drinks, including Cuban beers.
Excellent atmosphere with a band that knows how to stimulate the audience. I had a great time here. The people make you feel very much at home. Though the food and drink is a little bit more expensive than you might expect, there's no other place really like this one in town. It's a small town vibe inside quite insulated from the hustle and bustle of the town. Though it may be busy on the weekends, and there is a small cover charge, you can pay everything with Apple Pay and be on your way. There's Bucanero and Havana Club and all the freshest, most delicious Cuban specialties you would expect. I definitely hope to return one day with friends 😄

Exceptional. I haven’t had Cuban food in a long time and their food here made me so happy. Great mojitos and service too!
Michael B — Google review
Lively cozy bar with one of the best salsa bands I've heard in the city. Malecón Habana is as welcoming as it is fun. There was no way I couldn't dance. It doesn't get as crowded, there's a reasonable amount of space for dancing and the staff is really friendly. I went alone and had a great time! Ideal for social dancing, though, the food was also remarkable. Prices are reasonable and the cover affordable. Highly recommend.

Major Tom San Pedro is a popular spot in Monterrey, N.L., Mexico, known for its live commercial rock music and vibrant atmosphere. Visitors praise the friendly staff and efficient service, as well as the opportunity to enjoy good music with friends. The venue offers a unique experience by synchronizing live music with videos and promptly playing song requests. Guests also appreciate the decent cheeseburgers and reasonably priced alcoholic beverages.
Great place if you want to listen to the rock classics!!! Guard at the door was very kind even though the place was packed, he told us they were working on getting us a spot, very nice of him. The band playing was really good!!! They have a way to synchronize the live music with the videos which I thought was really cool. The other thing I liked is that if you asked a song to the DJ it wouldn’t take long for him to play it. Great place to take your friends and enjoy a good time.

Disclaimer: Why is it three stars? Bars aren't my type of place for talking and I went there for a farewell dinner. But, it is a nice bar with a retro air in their nineties and early two thousands music. If you are looking to start your weekend evening with beer and music, though not yet on the full club mood, this might be a four star for you. Warning: The place, like most of Centrito Valle's, is a little pricey and ask for a minimum beer consumption.
Miguel A — Google review
Very good service and overall environment and rock music. Cheeseburgers are pretty decent. The alcoholic beverages prices are fine too. Recommend this place to rock out and jam.

Great place, cheap beer and the atmosphere is awesome, I'm just taking a star out because people can smoke in there and the hot dog guy is very rude to people that parks at the street, demanding $80 pesos for a parking spot that is supposed to be paid using the meters or be free after house, pretty sure what this guy is doing is illegal, I hope he is not related to the business.

The Wine Bar by Grand Cru offers a delightful experience with its selection of Spanish cheeses and charcuterie, making it a perfect spot for a romantic evening or night out. Great drinks. Didn't eat anything but they had great servers. Very attentive to your needs and wants! Great atmosphere!
Tricia W — Google review
I recently had dinner at a wine bar in Monterrey, Mexico, and while it was an overall pleasant experience, it didn’t quite live up to the high standards I’ve come to expect from dining in Mexico. The restaurant itself is deceiving in size—it looks small from the outside but actually extends to two stories. We visited on a Wednesday night, and it wasn’t busy, which made for a relaxed atmosphere but also raised expectations for attentive service. We ordered a selection of dishes, including empanadas, egg rolls, and gyoza, paired with a bottle of Tempranillo wine. The food was good, but nothing really stood out as exceptional. The empanadas had a nice, crisp texture, but the filling was somewhat bland. The egg rolls were a bit better but still lacked that wow factor. The gyoza was hearty and comforting, though it too could have used a bit more seasoning to really elevate the flavors. The Tempranillo was enjoyable and complemented the dishes well, but like the food, it was more “good” than “great.” Service was where the experience fell short. Despite the restaurant not being busy, the service was slow and somewhat inattentive. We found ourselves waiting longer than expected for our orders to be taken and for the food to arrive, which was disappointing given the light crowd. In summary, this wine bar offers a cozy ambiance and a menu that’s decent but not remarkable. It’s a fine choice for a low-key evening, but I wouldn’t necessarily rush back.

Rufino Tamayo Park is a green oasis in Monterrey, offering a variety of activities for the whole family throughout the year. The park features benches, cafes, mature trees, and a popular loop trail. It promotes wellness and provides opportunities to connect with nature and experience art and culture. Visitors can adopt a tree through the park's program to attract more fauna species. Additionally, there's an organic market called El Huerto de Rufino where locally made products are available.
Beautiful little park for short walks with the family. The views are nice and there is free parking available. There is a disc golf course at the park, but there were a lot of people sitting in the middle of the holes picnicking/hanging out. If it were me, I would not play here due to random people all over the course.

Very safe with a police on site and cameras...this park is in the wealthy side of Monterrey, well maintained with clean bathrooms. Enjoy!!!
Seth D — Google review
Very nice park for a walk, work out, a dog-walk, coffe, picnic or just chill out and relax. Park is overall very well maintained, green grass, well maintained walk paths, clean and well maintained restrooms. It has a couple of core work-out stations, disc-golf, a fenced dog-park area for unleashed dogs, large green open spaces, a nice coffee shop, etc. The only down side was that there were many people with unleashed dogs in the non-dog-park area and not picking up after their dogs, park staff doesn't really enforce that at all and there are just a very few signs around the park. All in all a great option to stop by if you live around the area or if you are just visiting the town.
H G — Google review
I usually enjoy spending time at this park. Although not very large, it has adequate areas to sit and relax, lawn spaces to play outdoor games, and a fenced area where dogs can roam freely. Personally, I prefer to walk or run along the outer loop which is a bit under one mile. A couple of laps should provide a good workout. You could visit for activities alone or with family and friends.

Great place to hang around. It’s pet and family friendly. If you want to have a picnic or go for a run/walk this park it’s in the heart of San Pedro. In summer it gets really hot so it’s better to go very early or before sunset. Winter months are very enjoyable.

The atmosphere is very romantic they play great music I actually felt like slow dancing with my girlfriend at one moment, the food is great, well the lasagna is because that's what I had, just wish it would of had a couple more layers, the cheesecake desert was very good also, my girlfriend Loved it, next time we are going to sit out on the patio the view is awesome and very romantic.

Visited Jagger to watch my cousin get engaged. The waiters almost ruined the suprise several times before we event got seated! This restaurant is tailored to proposals and anniversaries so the fact that almost ruined it was a bit upsetting. Once he proposal happened my husband, son and I stayed for dinner. The drinks were delicious! Both the alcoholic and non alcoholic. We had the shrimp pizza and the Alfredo pasta which also comes with shrimp, both tasted really good. Definitely give the food a 9.5 out of 10 my only suggestion would be to maybe add steak to their menu.

Out of respect to my fiancé, I didn’t criticize them at the moment. Waitresses were attentive, food was good, and the view was amazing. Recently visited this restaurant and while the food was good, our experience was overshadowed by the service. Our waiter was intrusively attentive, crossing the line from helpful to bothersome. He rushed us to order the moment we sat down, cleared our plates before we finished eating, and overly insisted on additional drinks and menu items. Even when paying, his presence felt more like monitoring than assisting. While I appreciate the enthusiasm to serve, there's a fine balance between attentive and intrusive that was missed here, detracting from the overall dining experience.

TOPAZdeluxe is a premier nightclub nestled in the heart of Monterrey, specifically at Padre Mier #1248 Poniente in the historic center. This venue stands out with its stunning northern architecture reminiscent of the early 20th century, featuring high ceilings and large iron-bolted windows that invite you to experience its vibrant atmosphere. The club pulses with sophisticated electronic beats that spill onto the streets, creating an inviting ambiance for all who pass by.
Topaz Deluxe is the best house bar in Monterrey. There is an outdoor area to enjoy the music and conversations with others. Inside, the music is too loud, but it is perfect for us who want to listen to the music and nothing else.
Luis B — Google review
A house music bar with a great, chill atmosphere—but an unnecessarily complicated payment system that takes away from the experience. We arrived just before they started charging a cover and found the bar not too full. That’s when we learned they don’t accept cash or card, only a preloaded payment card (that they sell) to buy drinks. That system was already a turn-off, but since they had QR codes everywhere promoting an app, I tried to use it—only to find out that the app didn’t work for reloading the card (apparently the app didn’t charge a fee for a “card”). The only way to get a physical card was to pay $50 pesos and then load it with a balance… but ironically, the only way to do that was with a credit card (?). The whole thing felt unnecessarily complicated. The staff member handling the cards had an attitude and wasn’t helpful when we tried to troubleshoot the app, so we just ended up paying for the card. Once past that hassle, getting drinks wasn’t bad—there wasn’t much of a line—but it was still a ridiculous amount of steps for something that should be simple. As the night went on, the bar filled up, the music was solid, and the atmosphere was really enjoyable. However, the bathrooms were oddly designed—too dark, and the sinks were only in the women’s restroom, making something as basic as washing hands unnecessarily complicated to find. Overall, the vibe and music were great, but everything else was just too much of a hassle for no reason.
Alberto R — Google review
It was okay, but the outdoor space needed more louder speakers and then they closed it at 1:40 instead of 2:00 and excluded everyone from an after party.

We bought a bottle of Bacardi (1L) and cokes for 1700 pesos which was a pretty great deal considering. This is also a smoking club so you can definitely smoke indoors.

Este es un asco de lugar! Fui con mis amigos, que todos somos de Dallas, y nos discriminaron. No nos dejaron entrar aun teniendo reservación. Jesus el cadenero nos trato super mal y no daba explicación de porque no nos dejaban entrar. This place is disgusting! They did not let us in even though we had a reservation and half of our group was already inside. Jesus the bounce was a complete ass and gave no explanation as to why he wouldn’t let us in. Do NOT go here!

This is a very cool place at Monterrey city downtown. The place is infused with a retro rebel spirit. You can find pictures of Che Guevara, Emiliano Zapata and other rebel characters of world history hanging from the walls. They have rock, blues and jazz concerts every once in a while. As well as other cultural events. A landmark for many years now of the night scene in Monterrey. Dare to know one of the most underground and authentic rock cantina in town. ✌👊💥

Gay bar
La Colorina is a lively bar in Monterrey that offers an exciting and vibrant atmosphere for late-night entertainment. The venue features energetic music, including EDM influences, and regular live shows with talented performers. While the drinks may vary in strength, visitors can enjoy a bucket of beer for convenience. The bar has multiple areas, including a smaller section playing electronic music for those seeking a different vibe.
I went there on Saturday night, the cover was $200 but the performance was totally worth it. Service was very good also(almost too good, they check on me every 10 mins all night long). The party goes on till 5 AM, I totally recommend it.
Byron S — Google review
Loved it. The club is very nice and you will enjoy the atmosphere !! There’s strippers and drag show. Drinks are good and not really price. I don’t die for margaritas so bottle of beer were cold and enough to make a good night
Carlos M — Google review
The cover increased to 200 pesos from 100. The first show usually begins around 1 am, they started a little late at 1:30 the last time I went through. They typically have additional shows every 30-45 minutes. Hot guys, EDM influenced music and clean restrooms. The only complaint I had before was that a majority of the dancers just hang out like wallflowers between shows. However, there seemed to be a little more circulation this time. Come prepared to pay for the his time if you want a boy to stay at your table. Otherwise, a good time, great shows and strong drinks.
Dark S — Google review
My best recommendation before anything for tourists or first time visitors is ASK FOR PRICES!! Don’t order like crazy because you will get huge bill of $12,000 pesos ($600+ dollars ) like we did last night. lol but was worth it. 😃😍

Listen, you're probably at another bar. Said bar closes at 2 and you're not ready to go home. You're thinking "where am I gonna go now?" This place is the answer. From my personal experience, this bar was so much fun. Let's keep in mind that I already buzzed when I walked in. I walked up to the bar and ordered my friends and I a bucket of beer which came with a total of 10. It cost me about $20 USD but it meant I didn't have to go back to the bar each time I wanted a drink. The music was great. The strippers can't dance at all and although they didn't get fully naked, they flashed some c**k on stage a few times. That was good enough for me. Whatever you do, don't even make eye contact with the strippers. I saw people being taken away to dark rooms where I doubt the ending was anything but happy. Don't let this scare you though. Have fun but be safe.

Best gay club hands down in Monterrey and probably one of the best in both Americas. Absolutely unique. Non stop stripper shows , cheap privates
Anatoli V — Google review
The place is cool not going to lie. But be careful with the dancers, when they ask you to buy them a drink it would be a 600 pesos value. $30 American money. The private is $35 American money. Not bad, but ask them what you are looking for as some are 🔝and others are ⬇️. Don’t be be tricked some would would them you one thing while not coming through at the end. Awesome crowd. I enjoy over all Monterrey when traveling with my boyfriend.
Sánchez L — Google review
Pictures here were inaccurate. Place is smaller. Metal warehouse with a stage. Cover is 100 for a show where the strippers (not actually stripping) came to the stage for abt 2mins of unchoreographed shaking ( not dancing). Totally disappointed... dj just kept playing music til 1am for the first show. In between... an hr long of just disco light.

Great experience, this was my first time in that place and I can say the music and the service of the waiters were excellent. Very variety of music. The DJs did a good job good mixes. The vibe inside was great and worth the wait. Disregard the 1-star reviews below from people without a reservation who couldn't get it - what do you expect? What we ordered was delicious. We didn't like the barrel tables they use, as they're very cumbersome and you're too far from other people. There are also other types of tables or a bar. There was a wine tasting there at the time. They have tables outside, but there's a food court right next door that makes it smell strongly of food (it doesn't smell inside, only if you sit outside). Overall, a good experience.

(Translated by Google) The food is delicious!!! And don't even mention the location!! It's a super nice place to spend a nice night!! (Original) La comida esta deliciosa!!! y no se diga del lugar!! super agradable para pasar una nochesita rica!!

(Translated by Google) We were a large group, we all ordered drinks and some brought them drinks that were not ordered, food that was ordered they brought what they wanted, I personally ordered chicken thighs in mole and the chicken was raw, not even cooked, they offered me to change the dish or dessert and the dessert did not arrive unless the dessert was offered for the entire table and that is how it arrived (Original) Fuimos un grupo grande, todo pedimos bebidas y algunos les llevaron bebidas qué no se pidieron, comida que se pidió llevaron lo que quisieron, pedí personalmente muslitos de pollo en mole y el pollo estaba crudo, nisiquiera cocido, me ofrecieron cambiar el plato o postre y el postre no llegó a menos que el postre lo ofrecieran para toda la mesa y fue como llego

(Translated by Google) I was hoping for this new place but was disappointed in the service and quality of the dishes. It's been a long time since they treated me as badly as here. The waiters look rushed, inexperienced, forgetful. It is worth mentioning that even though it was lunch time, the place was not full, but it gives the impression that the work team has not worked in the restaurant and service area before. The food arrived in parts, the seasoning of the dishes was very dull. It's a place that I would be surprised if it lasted long. They serve you better at street tacos. I wouldn't come again. No volvería a venir.

(Translated by Google) Excellent place for some drinks!!! They focus on cocktails and are undoubtedly very original even with the names. The dishes leave nothing to be desired, the short rib and the tuna toast are incredible! But the chili en Nogada and salmon ceviche make me want to visit them again as soon as possible!!!

(Translated by Google) Last night I went to dinner because I am a fan of chile en nogada and the truth is that the one I tried here was delicious, the salsa en nogada was super delicious and the goat stuffing surprised me, I loved it since I am not usually a fan of goat but I will definitely come back for another before the season ends!!! , and the cocktails 100/10, my carajillo couldn't be missing.

(Translated by Google) Excellent atmosphere. The food is delicious. The Tuna toast and the tatemado Aguachile are incredible. The Chef approached my table to ask how my experience was, I loved the detail. (Original) Excelente ambiente. La comida está deliciosa. La tostada de Atún y el Aguachile tatemado están increíbles. (Translated by Google) I think this is one of the places with the greatest creativity and with diverse dynamics which offer an incredible, unique and original experience. The dishes focused on traditional Mexican cuisine are exquisite, they have a wide variety of cocktails and spritzes. The atmosphere of the place is so well structured that you never want to leave!! Nestled in the vibrant heart of Monterrey, Café Iguana stands as a beloved hotspot for music lovers and food enthusiasts alike. With over three decades of hosting both national and international artists, this lively venue is renowned for its eclectic live performances that showcase local talent. The spacious layout features a rooftop bar perfect for socializing while enjoying stunning views, alongside two stages downstairs where you can catch different bands without missing a beat.
Must visit place in Monterrey. I would recommend michelada and dont forget to have pizza. The live music was the best.
Abhinay122 — Google review
Cafe Iguana is a huge space. There is a large rooftop with a bar and ample seating and space for groups, dancing, and the lovely scenery and design makes for IG worthy photos. Downstairs has 2 stages for two different live bands to play at a time without interference. There is another bar and multiple seating options. My friends and I had a great time enjoying two different styles of music, the drinks are average, the food is good and provides a nice sized portion. The drinks are large as well.
Darah P — Google review
I liked to cafe. Bartender someone can understood English But Heavy metal band i feel 👎. A lot space to sit. And top floor was good.
Tangmo S — Google review
2nd floors with a view 2 stages Cool spot for rock Something I found kinda gross is that they put their ice in trash cans then use it to put in your drinks … E. coli infection waiting to happen
Anthony — Google review
I went to the Therion show at opening, and the venue was already at maximum capacity. The first hour of the show was literally people pushing you to try to get into and out of the room. I gave up after an hour as it was only getting worse. Waste of money, will never go back.
Eric S — Google review
If you like rock, heavy metal or just plain 80's-90's (non-pop) music, you'll love this place. Lots of people wearing black and rocking their long hair.. that sort of thing. Everyone's nice, prices are good and there's no entry fee (excluding special events). Make sure to check it out! ;)
Pertú T — Google review
Great place for a drink, they have many different stages with different kind of music, from reggae to heavy metal, going through rock and rap. Cheap beer and drinks, and they even have a pizza joint inside. Very casual dress code just a good place to enjoy some music.
Roberto D — Google review
It's the only place I have ever been that has 4 different types of music playing in the same place but in different rooms, and all of them are really good music from electronic, ska, hard rock and heavy metal. And the food is not the best but it's good. I recomend it. Enjoyed all of the time

The Horde Bar Arcade is a must-visit for a fun night out with friends, offering a fantastic selection of arcade games and bar food. The music is powered by vote, and the service is fast and friendly. The cover charge provides access to a variety of arcade machines, making it worth the price for an enjoyable evening. While the food may be pricey, it's tasty and pairs well with cold beers. The venue enforces anti-COVID rules, ensuring a safe environment for all visitors.
150 per person to get in and all the games are included. Makes you take a trip down memory lane. I was so happy with my pikachu drink 🤩very reasonable priced and cute! My husband had a good time playing celebrating his bday❤️
Andrea A — Google review
The drinks and food are very economical, which helps offset the reasonable entrance fee. They have vegetarian food options and you can choose to play your own songs on the jukebox system. We never had to wait for a game we wanted on a Thursday evening. A great time!!
Constance F — Google review
If you love arcades and great drinks, this is your place.
P J — Google review
I visited from out-of-country with friends and highly recommend this bar if you are looking for a fun night at the arcade with a variety of bar food. The game selection is fantastic, the music is powered by vote, and the service is fast and friendly. Everything we ordered tasted great, beers were very cold, and all anti-covid rules were followed and enforced. We would definitely visit again. The cover charge was reasonable for the access to arcade games. All told, a very fun night was had for all.
Justine S — Google review
What a cool place! Great vintage games, bar food, drinks, milkshakes and a cool vibe! Nice indoor and outdoor space. Very affordable too!
Jackie F — Google review
Perfect place for geeks, nerds and gamers of all ages! Great drinks and you can stay ALL DAY in the arcade. 10/10 will come back again!

Excellent food, service, and drinks. Very good anti-covid rules and enforcement. Can highly recommend the Horde fries and Buffalo boneless wings.
Mere M — Google review
Great place full of nostalgia, food and drinks are pricy and the food is not good at all, the service also is pretty lousy considering there are only like 2-3 waitresses for the whole place, it's a one time only type of place in my opinion.

Bar
Elton Dueling Pianos is an extraordinary establishment, offering patrons the opportunity to make song requests and showcase their talents on stage. The bar invites individuals to step out of their comfort zones and embrace the challenge if they are willing. With a vibrant atmosphere and superb entertainment, this venue guarantees an unforgettable experience for those seeking excitement in a unique setting.
It was out first time in Monterrey and the door guy had a terrible attitude. We had a reservation and arrived a little bit late and he made such a huge deal about it. We would never go back to that place. He really felt like he owned the place. Very unprofessional and rude. We expected more from a bar in San Pedro and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
Elia T — Google review
The door guy at this bar was very rude! We had a reservation and they didn’t honor our reservation that we made weeks before. Bouncer at the front door had a terrible attitude. It was our friends birthday and he ruined our night. As a visitor to Monterrey, I don’t recommend this place at all.
Monique L — Google review
We never got in. Apparently, making a reservation at 3:00 in the afternoon on the day of is waiting until the last minute. I could understand if it were 2 hours from arrival time, but it was 9:45 at night. Our reservation never made it into the hands of the doorman with the list. No accommodations were made when we showed our CONFIRMED reservation. He just brushed us off and we weren't the only ones. If you can't relay reservations to the doorman in 2019, then you need to update your system.
Rayla W — Google review
They make you wait before letting you in, even though we had a reservation. Too much smoke, unprofessional and somehow disrespectful waiters. They lied when requested the credit card terminal arguing that it was connected by cable, showing up later with a wireless terminal because one credit card required digital signature. Pushed for a 20% tip, when not customary to ask for it. Temperature was too hot, music and ambiance was OK,
Hugo L — Google review
Unprofessional staff who think that they have the right to be upscale because of their "upscale-ness" - even if you have a reservation they will most likely make you wait at the entrance and be aggressive about it. This place even has the typical racist "cadenero" as if this were a club for 18yo. Most Duelling Pianos places worldwide are quite fun, this was overrun by the rudeness and aggressiveness of the staff / if looking for a good place to hang, this is not it. Would avoid at all costs.
Alan S — Google review
horrible place and mood A dueling piano bar is cool everywhere in this planet, except for this one. They pretend to be very elegant, they misunderstand the concept of a piano bar. If you are fancy, go there!!! If you really like piano, then go somewhere else.
George D — Google review
Avoid on fridays as it is overrun by old people. And be prepared to spend minimum 500 pesos per person. Overall if you are in the mood you will have a good time.
Fernando A — Google review
If you like a place where you can't breathe well because of the smoke from cigarettes, you can't talk or listen to anyone because of the music being too loud, if you like not being able to walk or even think because the place that is too crowded, this is a place for you!
