Bar
Nestled in the heart of downtown Dallas within the Joule Hotel, Midnight Rambler is a chic underground cocktail lounge that perfectly marries Prohibition-era charm with contemporary flair. This intimate hideaway boasts an impressive array of craft cocktails, expertly crafted by renowned mixologists Chad Solomon and Christy Pope. The menu features a delightful mix of reimagined classics and innovative concoctions, including unique blends like wheat vodka infused with roasted ginger and spices.
Midnight Shamblers in Dallas is a must-visit for those seeking a Texas-inspired cocktail experience that blends Southern charm with avant-garde mixology. The dimly lit, vintage-inspired space sets the stage for a menu that’s both bold and playful, featuring standout drinks like the Midnight Raider, a tart and briny vodka-citrus creation, and the Roadside BBQ Manhattan, infused with Terry Black’s brisket for a rich, smoky twist. Whether you’re a cocktail aficionado or just looking for a great night out, Midnight Shamblers delivers an experience as unapologetically Texan as it is unforgettable. Also Jen thanks for making the experience superb

Ended up at Midnight Rambler because the other speakeasies were closed. Interesting mix of people here and a cool menu. The service wasn’t great though and the drinks were a little bizarre.
Jake H — Google review
We stopped here for an adult beverage when looking for a dark and quiet bar to celebrate a friend. This place has a great crowd, it was more focused on people in groups with conversation, and singles at the bar. We loved it, definitely not a party vibe (which we are aged out of). The bartender and our waiter were so nice and helpful on the recommendations. We didn’t get the cute Pokémon cards with our drinks, but the drinks were great and had an awesome presentation. The bar is down a set of stairs so be careful if wearing heels. They also closed an hour early for some reason, which was a bummer. However, we would definitely be back if looking for a late night stop!
Amber — Google review
Great service! Our server didn’t share his name, but he was super attentive and made great recommendations! I hadn’t been here in a while! Cool Pokémon theme. We only came for drinks. They were good.
Grecia M — Google review
Dark, cozy cocktail bar with a fun seasonal menu and delicious drinks. The wait staff were caring and helpful. When we went there was a creative pokemon adjacent menu theme, and I enjoyed my unusual corn flavored drink.
Josh — Google review
Jade was incredible. We were welcomed into the building by a gentleman holding the door open for us. Then we were greeted by the host, who politely guided us into the entrance and wished us a great night. When we sat down, you could tell everyone was enjoying themselves and being served promptly. Our server, Jade, was the epitome of customer service and kindness. It was clear that she wanted our business. 5 star establishment without a doubt.
Eric K — Google review
My wife and I popped into this spot randomly after seeing a concert and we are so happy that we did! It was such a quaint atmosphere and layout inside with the most awesome Pokemon themed menu and experience, we ordered several great drinks and when my wife didn’t love one of them they immediately made it right with something else. Jade was especially awesome, treating us like old friends and taking the time to care about our entire experience. We loved this place and will definitely be back! Thanks 🙏🏼
Mike G — Google review
Well, this bar tries so hard to be cool. It is dark, in the basement (many stairs!) and plays cool, jazzy music. Theres only one problem: the drinks aren’t good. If you’re going to experiment with old standards, make them better than the old standards. Here we had an Old Fashioned and a Dirty Martini. We were making our way to a restaurant and had just had the exact same drinks at a nearby neighborhood bar. The only difference? The neighborhood bar drinks were good! Honestly, I couldn’t finish my Dirty Martini. What was in it? Why? There are only two ingredients for a reason. The drinks are just bad. Don’t bother. But do wander around in the upstairs lobby of the Joule Hotel. It’s worth a look!

Bowen House is a charming Victorian-style bar located in the historic Ahab Bowen home in Uptown Dallas. The bar offers a variety of craft cocktails and a meat-heavy menu. The mixologists are known for their expertise and can create unique drinks tailored to your preferences. The venue's upscale drink menu includes a classy wine list, draft beers, bottled beers, and canned beers. Bowen House provides an opportunity to experience local history while enjoying delicious drinks in a vintage setting.
Visited this cute spot to celebrate a birthday! It’s a house that’s been converted into restaurant. The ambiance was on point and we celebrated in a private room in the back. The decor is beautiful, the low lighting is sexy, and the private room has clouds painted on the ceiling. It was perfect for the number of guests(10-12) and we were all able to converse without competing with everyone else in the restaurant’s conversations. The food was great as well and you should check out the Tuna Tacos. They’re an excellent choice! It’s a great spot for date night or gathering with friends.

I LOVED Bowen House! I came here for a peaceful night after work to read for a bit and check out such a unique, historical spot! I LOVED IT! The cocktails were delicious and unique — I loved the London-themed cocktail (served in a teacup)! The wine selection was also great! I had the ahi tacos (my first time ever trying anything like them) and after that, I started eating them more often because Bowen House’s was so good! The employees were very friendly and helpful, and fun to chat with! The ambience both inside and outside was lovely and unique. I say and enjoyed the late summer night outdoors, but the inside almost won me over! Highly recommend for a nice night out!

We just had an amazing experience tonight! We sat outside and the weather was perfect. It is so beautiful out front covered with big trees. We loved so much about our experience but to start off the cocktails are to die for. Every drink we had was a 10. The food was also delicious. I had the burger and it did not disappoint. Overall this was a perfect restaurant experience and feels like a local secret.

My favorite place in Dallas since I’ve moved here, whether it’s HH at 5 or a stop on a night out. Service is on point, food is fantastic. I haven’t had a drink on their, ever-changing, menu that I haven’t truly enjoyed. Get the cheeseburger and sit with Lorenzo.
E D — Google review
Summary: Fantastic Bowen house is one of Dallas's best restaurants... no question. Atmosphere: Super chill and vibey inside. It's small and intimate so it's perfect for a party of 2-4. Food: Super impressed. The first time we went, we had to try as much as we could: the tartare, escargot, and mushroom toast were all super solid. For mains, we both got the cheeseburger. Let me tell you, this might be the best cheeseburger I’ve had in Dallas. It’s definitely up there. We came back three separate times just to get the cheeseburger, and the place is open until 2 a.m., so it hits perfectly after a night out. 10/10 food. (Note: last time we were there, they had off-menu chicken tenders that were insane.) Cocktails: Awesome. nothing more to be said
Ayron M — Google review
Located in a beautiful historic building Bowen House serves both food and drinks. I only went for a cocktail though. I got there around 730pm on weekday night and the place was packed so if you plan to visit Bowen House better book a table. I only managed to get a standing spot. Service was quick but as it was very busy the barmen didn't have time for chitchat. The cocktail list has something for everybody. Was a bit hard to read the menu as the place is quite dim. I opted for The Senator. The drink was very fragrant and had more bitterish flavours....I liked it. Bowen House is a place to go when you want to go out with friends and are looking for vibrant place for drinks and dinner.
Aksel G — Google review
Always love visiting Bowen house for a drink. The cocktails are top notch and the food is excellent too. Worth the wait any day of the week!
Evan P — Google review
Our waiter at The Finch recommended Bowen House and it did not disappoint! It was extremely loud and busy when we went, but we were immediately put on the waiting list and were seated before our drinks came out. The cocktails were excellent - espresso martini was heavier on the espresso flavor which was great but the bitter lemon soda was SO refreshing. Lorenzo was our primary bartender and he was levelheaded and organized despite the chaos and some *slightly* impatient customers. The drinks were a bit more expensive than I’m used to but it was such a cool location and great quality that I think it was worth it

Cocktail bar
Parliament is a renowned cocktail lounge located in Uptown Dallas, known for its extensive menu of over 100 craft cocktails. The plush and dimly lit space offers a laid-back vibe and is famous for its legendary bartender Lucky Campbell. The bar's menu features innovative twists on traditional Golden Age cocktails as well as prohibition-style classics. One of the must-try drinks is the Ramos Gin Fizz, an early take on the Gin Fizz from an 1893 Roosevelt Hotel cocktail menu.
As I grow older, I've come to appreciate high-end cocktail bars more and more — they truly are the move! The staff is incredibly friendly, making every visit feel welcoming. The drinks are nothing short of amazing, carefully crafted with the finest ingredients. The atmosphere is sophisticated and classy, providing the perfect setting for a night out. Come for a top-notch drink, and stay for the friendships and unforgettable experiences you'll find along the way.

What a great place for happy hour! We've been about 4-5 times now. Worth getting here between 5-530pm to get bar seating. Happy hour is very reasonable between 5p-8p.
Billie H — Google review
Super cool place. We came in from out of town and wanted a laid back place to have some drinks. George and Ya-Ya helped us out during our visit and made our experience truly memorable. Definitely would recommend the Namaste and the coolest daiquiri lantern. A must in Dallas if you’re looking for a chill night out.
Sarah S — Google review
Huge cocktail selection, super impressive bartenders, and an environment that has yet to be matched. Thankful for the hospitality, the AGM made sure we felt appreciated and service was amazing!!
Noah R — Google review
Very swanky cocktail bar with a unique menu, great service, and some gimmicks. They have a nice patio with outdoor tables. High end vibe and prices. Good date spot.
Julia E — Google review
Cool vibe, but the experience didn’t match the hype. Drinks took forever, and when they finally came, they were fine but not worth the price. Staff felt distracted, and the place gets overcrowded fast. They also tack on an automatic 20% gratuity, which would be fine if the service matched it. Stylish spot, weak execution.
Axel — Google review
Vibes were amazing, the place is very dimmed lowkey. A little tight when it's busy but the drinks were great and the bartenders are extremely attentive and laidback to help you find the perfect drink. Coming out of town, and will definitely recommend this place to others
Brian B — Google review
Not really sure what I was expecting when I walked into this bar with a group of friends. Not very busy on a Tuesday night but still lively, parliament has a very spunky vibe with lavish decor. We approached the bar wanting to order a drink, however as soon as we walked up, a girl pushed my friend out of the way to order a drink. My friend then looked at said girl and commented that she didn’t have to push her, she could’ve said excuse me. The bartender then proceeded to tell my friend “you didn’t have to do all of that” with an attitude. Needless to say we left immediately without ordering drinks at all. An unfortunate first impression.

Small plates restaurant
Apothecary, located in the heart of Belmont on Lower Greenville, is an avant-garde cocktail lounge that offers a unique experience. The interior is adorned with peacock wallpaper, plush velvet seating, and vintage chandeliers, creating a romantic and speakeasy-like ambiance. The cocktail menu is divided into three categories: Over the Counter, Prescription, and Illicit Elixirs, catering to both novice and adventurous drinkers.
Our Valentine’s Day experience here is one we will talk about for years to come! The atmosphere was warm and relaxing. For a major restaurant holiday that landed on a Friday, they didn’t overbook. We never felt rushed and got to relax and enjoy the evening. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and expertly introduce each course and drink. He paced the dinner perfectly. The drinks ranged from classic pairings like champagne and oysters to unique and complex concoctions that accentuated the food. My favorite was tequila and coffee lightly sweetened with grapefruit and coconut paired with smoked pork cheek and a fig and tomatillo mole. The entire meal was a crescendo of flavor that took us on a sampling of global influences. Thank you to the entire team for curating such an exceptional experience!
Elaina L — Google review
The entry is definitely unique since there are no markings or signage. The aesthetic is chic, swanky, and fastidious; a sort of "old-fashioned eclecticism meets contemporary, modern refinement" styling which is very confident and ensconcing from when you first walk in. The food is excellent and portions are content. I believe they come out from the kitchen in the adjacent restaurant, Rye. Drinks are a fun and fresh variety though serving size for some were a little less than expectations for the price they command. Definitely not a weekly outing for most as it can reach a higher-end bill, but 100% worth the trip and experience. Paige, our server, was exceptionally knowledgeable and had the timing down perfectly.
Scott H — Google review
Checked this spot out for Restaurant Week in Dallas and the menu did not disappoint. The oysters were probably the best I’ve ever had, no dressing needed as they come with it. Roasted vegetables with goat cheese were a great segue into the main course. The TX wagyu was a bit tougher than anticipated, but the gravy was nice. I didn’t know I needed to try popcorn on cheesecake, but it was surprisingly pleasant!
Joshua M — Google review
Initially started great but then had some unfortunate experience. However, the management quickly resolved the issue and took care of us. Honestly more than necessary and we really appreciate their effort. This place might be bit hard to find as it is a speakeasy vibe, cocktails are very unique and we’d recommend to anyone looking for fun and unique drinks. If I could give advice, would be great if the servers look around the room every once while. It took about 20 minutes for the server to notice us. Food: (8/10) - not actually caviar, but good. Drinks: (9/10) - if you are into interesting cocktails, this place is great Service: (9/10) - fixed the issue though it’d be great if they saw us earlier. Ambiance: (7/10) - its cozy and nice, but not amazing nor very-speakeasy vibe.
J — Google review
Too hip for me, but really liked the drinks. I particularly wanted to try the savory cocktails and they were really good. Not a complaint, but the only one I tried that didn't really satisfy was the chicken piccata cocktail. It tasted great, but didn't have depth to sustain it over time...but I think it would have been amazing as a shot. Didn't make a reservation but went right when they opened and got space at the bar before it filled up. Getting the check in a cigar bowl was silly.
Jess E — Google review
Such a lovely atmosphere and loved the bar tender. He was fun to chat with on my solo date. I don’t remember his name but he had a really nice beard lol. Definitely my new favorite spot. Definitely coming back.
Ashley S — Google review
While at first the server was great, as the evening wore on misses meals and drink orders made the evening awkward. The food was good but the rush of getting the next reservation to our table was off putting.
Irma M — Google review
If you are looking for a speakeasy, this is IT!!! I have been seeing this place on google and never could find it. Today, I’m on the hunt for this place. I kept walking by the entrance multiple times until I noticed a wooden door with no sign and no light. I was wondering if it opened, but my curiosity couldn’t stop me. I grabbed the door handle and opened it anyway. Behind the blind curtain revealed a cozy chic space that transformed me back to Aspen chateau vibe. I was greeted with lovely and friendly faces. Their menus were out of the universe (or at least, I could say it was over the moon). I have dined my cuisines, but nothing could describe this eclectic juxtaposition creative culinary and mixology. Recommendations: 🍸Golden Gate No.3 🥃Honey Dew You? For my next visit: I would love to try their kitchen foods… from • charcuteries to • half shell oysters 🦪 raw and dressed, • crab caviar cannoli (doesn’t this sound like a music to my ears 🎶👂), • Jell-O banger (Yesss, it’s Jell-O shot, but from the kitchen), • mussels in white wine butter (how could you go wrong!? 😋), • Cacio E Pepe (egg yolk pasta🍝, grana padano; wild arugula, pink peppercorn, tobacco shallots), • ocean trout in coconut saffron lobster 🦞 bisque, black rice, topped with thai basil and lime leaf chili crisp) • and finish with this crazy dessert called “Kraut Cake” it’s dark chocolate cake, in sauerkraut (yes, you read it right), imagine how carrot 🥕worked like a magic in carrot cake, that goes the same with sauerkraut cabbage 🥬), it’s there to elevate the pallet with its emulsification, come with white chocolate 🍫 cherry 🍒 ganache at the boto, brandied cherriers, coffees and toasted Swiss meeingue.

Hide is a trendy cocktail bar located in Deep Ellum and the Knox/Henderson area of Dallas. The bar is known for its expert bartenders who create incredible craft cocktails using homemade bitters, syrups, and tinctures. The space features floor-to-ceiling windows, dimly lit nooks, and a central bar with an herb garden. In addition to its extensive list of libations, Hide also serves light bites and snacks such as crispy ahi poke tacos.
Stopped by for drinks after our lunch so we didn't eat here. But the drinks were so refreshing and good! Our bartender was very nice as well. And loved the music they were playing. Very relaxing time for me and my friend. 😊
Nana C — Google review
The restaurant/bar is nicely decorated. The first floor is for a more formal experience and the rooftop is casual of course. Good music but a little loud. There was only one person serving all the tables of the rooftop for dinner on a Thursday evening. Of course not a good idea since he needed help. The food was good. Good vibes in general.
Gio L — Google review
If you are looking for a fun rooftop bar and patio in Dallas, then head upstairs to Hide Bar! This bar has a great cocktail and food menu, as well as TV's that you can watch sports on. We ordered the garlic rosemary popcorn...perfect snack for a table to enjoy while sipping on beverages. With over 30 signature cocktails, there is something on the menu for everyone in your party to enjoy. Although we didn't order entrees, this spot is an all-scratch kitchen and offers brunch on the weekend. The views from the patio are great and the service was on-point. If you are looking for a fun rooftop bar/patio in Dallas, check out the Hide Bar!

We have tried this place several times for brunch. Recently, we sat outside on the covered patio and had a good time. We started with the spicy tuna sticky rice. It had great flavor and was a nice portion to share. I had the bacon and egg breakfast tacos (3). My wife had the chicken schnitzel with eggs and grits. The portion sizes match the decent prices. The bar area inside looked nice and there is a roof top we haven’t checked out yet. We will be back for more brunch menu items and/or a happy hour sometime. Definitely recommend giving it a try.
Jimmy K — Google review
This place was okay. There were a few flies around my food since the place is open door 🥴. The server brought a flycatcher that didn’t do much. I ate all my food, the staff had avg service, and the popcorn and drinks were fine. It wasn’t horrible, but I probably won’t go back. Average experience. Not exceptional good but nothing horrible happened. I think it’s still a good place to go in the area.
Makayla M — Google review
Portions were generous. Wish they had more variety however it's clear this is more of a college atmosphere with drinks. View was ok. Glad they had fans. It seemed like they had a DJ on a Saturday after noon.
Gabriela C — Google review
Haven't ever tried the food here but it's a great place for drinks. Absolutely the BEST water. And I know that sounds crazy, but it's the best. They also have a really fun and inventive cocktail list, plus some of your old standards. My only gripe is they put freaking cinnamon in an old fashioned. Cinnamon has no place in that drink lol
Sean F — Google review
The restaurant was beautiful, clean, and well organized. Me and 2 friends went there for dinner, and reservations were strongly recommended, but we walked in and got seated immediately! Of course it wasn't busy, but our waiters and hostesses were kind and made sure we got what we wanted; I almost forgot to put cheese on a burger, so he asked if I wanted that or no, which was just really nice. The later in the night it got, the noiser/ busier it got, but we could still hear and clearly understand each other. There is a bar, and the booths are massive, so you could easily fit a party of 10 at one table. There is a rooftop option, but when I went it was closed for a private event- but cool to note that they have one! The burger I got was amazing, and my friend got a Miss Dallas drink which was pretty strong but tasty. The food tasted excelent, and service was good!

Ruins, a popular spot since its opening in 2018, offers a unique blend of Oaxacan-style Mexican cuisine with Caribbean and South American influences. The bar is known for its extensive selection of agave-based spirits, including over 100 tequilas and mezcals, as well as rum, whiskey, brandy, and liqueurs. The menu features delectable dishes such as Fideo soup and Roasted Chayote Salad.
First time coming here the other night and I must say. I was shocked. It was such a laid back vibe, the patrons were nice and the whole atmosphere itself was very welcoming. It's a place with good energy, great drinks and good food.

I got the steak and carnitas tacos with a passionfruit margarita. The tacos were flavorful and delicious. The margarita was refreshing. The servers and bartenders are nice and attentive. The vibes are chill. Come in and seat yourself then the servers will come to you as menus are provided on the table. I will definitely be back! There is a table large enough to fit a group of six or seven and there is outdoor seating.

Came to see RUSSELL! Great atmosphere and such an intimate venue. Drinks are great, but we didn't get any food so no say about that.

We were in Dallas for a work trip and trying to find a place for drinks after dinner. We were headed to Another place but as we walked by, Ruins was playing Suicidal Tendencies and we were like “dude, yes”. So glad we stopped here. The drinks were INCREDIBLE. The service was great. The vibe is strong. We will say “yes” any time work wants us to come to Dallas just so we can hit up Ruins again. I may take a trip just for another sip of the Priestess of the Mushrooms cocktail!!

Stopped by early on a Sunday with some friends; the ambiance is incredible. The artwork all over the interior is incredible and pulls a cohesive tone throughout. Also, the Limbo Room stage in the back was awesome and I look forward to seeing a show in there next time I come back to Dallas.

Prompt service! Ordered a Painkiller, Long Island Tea, the Elote, Shrimp Nachos & Steak Fajitas. The Nachos & Elote were good. The Fajitas didn't come w/any tortillas & left much to be desired. Also, I didn't like the fact that there was an automatic 18% gratuity added because I ALWAYS tip!

New American restaurant
Restaurant
HG Sply Co. is a rustic-chic restaurant that offers American meals, craft beers, and cocktails in a laid-back setting with a rooftop patio. The establishment focuses on serving healthy, sustainably sourced food with minimal manipulation to promote a long and happy life. Their menu features delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes as well as carefully selected chicken, meat, and fish options.
I can’t say enough good things about HG Sply Co in Dallas! This spot checks all the boxes, great food, inviting atmosphere, and an impressive selection of gluten-free options that never feel like an afterthought. The menu is fresh, flavorful, and clearly designed with intention. Whether you're fully gluten-free or just health-conscious, you’ll find delicious choices without sacrificing taste or variety. The cauliflower rice bowl and bison burger (on a GF bun!) were standouts, and the staff was knowledgeable & incredibly accommodating about dietary needs. The rooftop view is the cherry on top, perfect for brunch, dinner, or a casual hangout with friends. HG Sply Co has definitely earned a spot on my go-to list in Dallas. Highly recommend!

Omg!!! I took a break from eating out so much, and had not been here in like a year. Today I decided to walk in and order my normal dish, but all the dishes people were having were things I hadn’t saw before. So I ordered the Charred Campfire Chicken and it came with the most amazing coleslaw! You guys this dish hit out of the ballpark! Don’t everybody go all at once because I’ll be back, and I don’t want it to be packed when I get there!
Chavella S — Google review
This spot is a winner! The food here is genuinely tasty, which is a huge commendation, especially for a menu that contains little meat options. Whether you're a devout vegan or a meat-eater, this restaurant is great for all food eaters. If you're looking for the best place to eat clean and healthy, look no further. A highlight was the beet juice drink, which was described as both interesting and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

HG Sply Co. is an absolute gem! The atmosphere is lively, the rooftop patio offers amazing views, and the food is always fresh and flavorful. One of my favorite dishes is the yellow curry—perfectly spiced, rich, and packed with fresh ingredients. If you're looking for something healthy yet satisfying, this is the spot. The drinks are just as impressive, with well-crafted cocktails that pair perfectly with the food. The service is always friendly and attentive, even when it’s busy. Whether you're coming for brunch, happy hour, or dinner, you’re in for a great experience.

HG Sply Co. needs to be on your rotation. The ingredients they use feel healthy and taste great. If you’re into tracking your macros, the menu provides the data so you don’t have to fudge your numbers. There are plenty of outdoor and indoor seating options. We sat out front on a warm evening with a gentle breeze and relatively low humidity. It was great to see people out enjoying themselves. Our server was friendly and took care of us. The food felt a bit slow in coming, but it didn’t matter. It allowed us to relax a bit longer and enjoy our time on lower Greenville.

I really enjoyed HG Supply! The avocado deviled eggs were delicious, and the fries were great. My chicken sandwich was a bit underdone, and the service could’ve been a little more attentive, but overall it was a decent experience and a nice alternative spot to dine.

Alec was such a great server! Helped me select a fab meal. And the bar staff was able to turn the TV to F1 quali so I got to enjoy that too. If you need GF food, there are nice choices here.

Live music bar
Adair's Saloon is a legendary honky-tonk in Dallas, standing strong since 1983 and offering live country music every night. The down-to-earth atmosphere, complete with graffiti-covered walls and well-worn dance floor, adds to its charm. This dive bar serves up delicious pub grub, including their famous greasy cheeseburgers and offers cold pitchers of Lone Star beer and Shiner Bock.
I usually go for the Tuesday night open mic, they are very welcoming and open to all talent levels. Drink prices are fair, staff is attentive and friendly. You don't get to live in Deep Ellum as long as Adair's has without doing something right.
R J — Google review
Adair's Saloon has been a Dallas staple for decades. It's second incarnation is the current location at 2624 Commerce in Deep Ellum. The humble saloon has been a live music Mecca for many listeners. The Red-Dirt/Texas Music scene has always been strong at Adair's. Live music nightly are rarely is there a cover charge. A great time with good bartenders and friendly patrons. The kitchen is always ready to provide some sustainance whether the famous Adair's Cheeseburger and Fries or one of the "newer" items on the menu. Take a look at the schedule and pick a night to go hear some live music. It is a good time at Adair's Saloon.

Best burger in Dallas. Hands down. Love the music and people you meet along the way. Also, fun smoking patio with the Deep Ellum characters. My go to spot.

Delicious food and amazing burgers. I’ve been twice before. I came with sister in law who is 18. They refused us service cuz she was 18 even though we didn’t plan on drinking just eating. They looked like they needed the service. There wasn’t a soul in there. We were excited to eat there too.

My wife and I go every year for our anniversary. #7 this year. Hands down in our opinion (and a lot of others😁) the finest hamburger in DFW!! The staff is always on point. Courteous, attentive, and joyful. Simply adore Adair's!! Best parking, in the rear! Ifkyk. P.s. Special 9.99 burger and fries on Sundays!!!

Atlas Bishop Arts is a unique and alluring specialty cocktail hangout located in the vibrant Bishop Arts District of Dallas. The venue boasts Edgar Allan Poe-inspired interiors and offers a diverse menu of cocktails with global origins, featuring innovative and unexpected ingredients. It's a favorite spot for cocktail enthusiasts who appreciate spirit-forward beverages that highlight the versatility of liquor. The sultry lounge ambiance is complemented by moody paintings, ornate chandeliers, red banquettes, and damask sofas.
Dark bar with creative cocktails. There is a row of bar seating, several booths, and a few large chairs. At the back is a bookcase leaning to another bar that is only open in the evening. It's located in the bishop arts district, a long street of diverse shops, restaurants, and bars. There is free street parking through the neighborhood.

Used to come here all the time when we lived closer. I have to say, after this past weekend I'm a little disappointed. We had friends in town and chose here because of the good drinks and atmosphere, hoping we could catch up. Unfortunately, it has turned more into a club than a lounge. They eventually did some crowd control and things cleared out, but there was a time we couldn't move and because of how loud the dj was, we couldn't chat either. The other thing is they don't tell you tip is included. I saw someone else's bill and realized I tipped over 20% on top of a bill that already had the tip included. We ultimately decided to leave and when we left, the line was wrapped around the block. I guess like everything else in Dallas. All good things must come to an end.
Nickelle H — Google review
Hung out with a few friends and my girl (1st time here for us) on Saturday night and it was a nice little spot. No cover fee. The DJ played pretty good music (rap/dance/techno/etc). The vibe is chill with low light/dark atmosphere. Has tables, chairs, and some cushioned benches for seating. There's an additional bar in the back with limited seating. Drink prices range. My pint beer was around $4 and my Whiskey w/Coke was around $13. The negatives: like any good club is that we had to wait in line for a while for entry and the place does get crowded. Auto gratuity on drinks. Limited restrooms as well. But we had lots of fun here. We would definitely come back. I recommend checking this place out.
TheDrummerJulian — Google review
Before ending up at another spot, we stopped in here just to see what the vibes were. The bar was already pretty packed with no place to sit. They did not have any prosecco and the music they were playing was not really our vibe so we ended up leaving. Other than tha, the 10min that we were there, I loved their decor and ambiance. Very dark, chic and they did have a little dance floor in case you wanted to dance. I'm not from the area so I'm not sure if they have different music on certain nights, but we came on a Saturday and they were playing like alternative, pop and some R&B from what I remember.
Jene'Vue E — Google review
Atlas is a pretty nice cocktail bar located in the heart of Bishop Arts, known for its charming ambiance and expertly crafted drinks. I would confidently say it's one of the nicest spots in the area if you're in the mood for some quality cocktails. During my recent visit with a group of friends, I had the pleasure of trying both the Paloma and Guava drinks, and I must say, they were impeccably prepared and perfectly balanced. My friend decided to order the "Last Word" cocktail, which turned out to be another delightful choice. Our waitress, whose name escapes me now, was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the evening. Despite the bustling atmosphere, she made sure that everyone's drinks arrived promptly and that each person's preferences were catered to. Her willingness to accommodate separate checks for each of us was a thoughtful gesture that didn't go unnoticed. As for the ambiance, it was just what you'd hope for in a cozy cocktail bar—warm lighting, comfortable seating, and a laid-back vibe that encouraged relaxed conversation and enjoyment of our surroundings. Overall, our experience at Atlas was nothing short of exceptional. My friends and I left feeling thoroughly satisfied and grateful for the memorable evening we'd shared. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Atlas to anyone looking for a top-notch cocktail experience in Bishop Arts

I had the Espresso Martini and House of the Rising Sun (Sagamore Rye, Plantation Dark Rum, Peychaud’s, Orange Bitters, Mole Bitters, Chai Demarara, Pernod Absinthe). Both were good, but I was expecting something more spectacular. Loved the vibes there, though it could get quite packed. The speakeasy wasn't open, and there were limited tables, so I had to stand at the bar.
Yao X — Google review
As a Dallas native this has always been a staple to me and I’ve had so many great memories here to the point that my now fiancé asked me to be his girlfriend here. Recently though a bouncer put his hands on my friend and I can’t disregard that. We were there all day on the patio going in and out ordering drinks and having a great time. In the evening a line started to form and my friend went in to use the restroom and the heavy over 6 feet bouncer grabbed my 5 foot friend and dragged her out. She tried to reason with him and he eventually let her back in but I do not ever condone a man putting his hands on a woman. I refuse to come back here if there is a man that thinks it’s okay to handle ANYONE like that.
Adiam O — Google review
This used to be my go to spot to listen to local DJs while being served by expert bartenders that can make everything taste good, however, I was recently removed by the owner without reason. I was approached by the bouncer and was told that I had to leave. A bit taken back I asked why, and was informed that the owner said that I had to go, and was being walked out before paying my tab. I asked if I could close my tab which they allowed, I tipped the bartenders (I didn't know it was included) and was walked out. I tend to keep to myself, so being removed without a reasonable conversation doesn't make much sense.

Live music venue
Pub
Double Wide Bar is a welcoming neighborhood spot located on the far-eastern edge of the area. It has a renegade spirit and offers inventive frozen cocktails like the YooHoo YeeHaw. The bar hosts local and regional bands playing punk, metal, and country music multiple nights a week. Despite its quirky mobile home decor, it promises to be a memorable nightspot in Dallas with its unique style and charm.
There’s something beautifully, defiantly wrong about a dive bar called Double Wide serving vegan Mexican food. It’s the kind of cognitive dissonance that makes perfect sense only in Texas, where contradictions don’t just coexist but slow dance together under neon beer signs. Every third Wednesday, this East Dallas institution transforms into something unexpected. Chef Daddy rolls up with a mission that would make your abuela either weep or throw chanclas: plant based Mexican food that somehow doesn’t feel like punishment. The Crunchwrap arrives like a beautiful lie wrapped in a tortilla, crispy and substantial enough to make you forget you’re not committing culinary sins. The elote, corn kernels bathed in vegan mayo and chili powder, tastes like summer nights and questionable decisions, which is exactly what you want. The taco plate is honest food, the kind that doesn’t apologize for being different. Each bite carries the weight of tradition bent but not broken, like a mariachi song played on an electric guitar. It works because it doesn’t try too hard to be anything other than what it is: damn good food that happens to be vegan. But here’s the real genius of this place: those five dollar frozen Yoo hoos during happy hour. In a city where craft cocktails cost more than minimum wage and everyone’s chasing the next Instagram worthy rooftop experience, Double Wide offers something genuinely subversive: a chocolate milk cocktail that tastes like childhood and costs less than a fancy coffee. This isn’t just one of the best happy hour deals in Dallas; it’s a middle finger to pretension, served ice cold in a plastic cup. Sometimes the most revolutionary act is keeping things simple, affordable, and real. Double Wide gets it. Oh, and last but certainly not least, GiGi is an ANGEL!

Easily best bar in Dallas for me. The double wide holds a special place in my heart, and I wish I could go here every weekend. The Tipsy Alchemist is a trendy and stylish bar located in Uptown Dallas, offering handcrafted cocktails and bottle service with a high-tech twist. The bar's ambiance resembles a blend of an industrial laboratory and a boutique hotel, creating a unique setting for patrons to enjoy their drinks. The mission of the establishment is to provide elevated cocktails through the use of science, art, and technique in a social lounge environment.
I sat with I Isaiah can honestly say this was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a bar. The bartender didn’t just make drinks – they crafted them. Every cocktail was perfectly balanced, smooth, and full of flavor. You could tell they really cared about quality and presentation. On top of the amazing drinks, the service was outstanding. The bartender was friendly, attentive without being overbearing, and made me feel like a regular even though it was my first time there. The energy, professionalism, and genuine hospitality truly set the tone for the night. If you’re looking for top-notch drinks and even better service, this is the spot. The vibe was fun! Drinks were on the strong side for my preference, but I know a lot of people might appreciate that! We were hoping to go upstairs to the dance floor but by 10:30 it hadn't opened so we missed out and called it an early evening.

The place was pretty busy when we went, but the service was still great. The drinks, however, were just okay — they seemed more focused on presentation than taste. The staff was attentive, which is why I gave three stars. Maybe I just caught them on an off night. Atmosphere and DJ were great though.

This is a great place for cocktails and conversation. The bartenders are awesome! The cocktails are creative and delicious. The music is on point and the volume is good to carry on a conversation. The complimentary popcorn is a hit! So delicious with a unique flavor. Go early and don't worry about reservations. Upstairs have more lounge areas and another bar. Parking is available in the garage next door, but they do not validate the parking ticket.
Danielle S — Google review
I like the environment, music, and decor. I wasn't a fan of the drinks. They put a lot of effort into the cocktails appearance, but not much focus on flavor. I ordered 2 different drinks and they tasted very similar. The drinks are low on the sweetness level for it to be a cocktail bar. Lastly, expect more ice than cocktail, for most items on their drink menu.

Nestled within the luxurious Rosewood Mansion in Turtle Creek, The Mansion Bar exudes sophistication and elegance. Once the dining room of cotton magnate Sheppard W. King, this bar offers a chic and refined ambiance with its opulent interior and high-quality drinks and bites. Overlooking a beautifully landscaped garden, the lounge features a stunning Steinway piano as its centerpiece and an impressive selection of cocktails and wines.
We made a decision to stop by before heading home after having an early dinner. Our old-fashioned drink was prepared exactly as we desired! (I believe her name was Denise) The establishment boasts beautiful decor, and the atmosphere is cozy and conducive to relaxation. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

I wanted to share some feedback from my visit to your establishment last night. I sat at the bar and ordered a glass of wine. I understand it was a busy night, and I appreciated the bartender's efforts in managing everything. However, when the bartender eventually returned to check in, she asked if I planned to leave soon. I responded that I wasn’t sure, and she followed up by asking me to get up from the bar because there were people behind me “trying to spend money.” This interaction felt quite dismissive and made me uncomfortable, especially as I was still in the process of ordering and hadn’t indicated I was done. I fully understand how busy nights can be challenging for staff, but I believe there are more respectful ways to manage space at the bar without making a guest feel unwelcome. This is the bartender in the picture.

We came here for a bday party to eat dinner and see live music. I was under the impression that there would be a live band k, but instead there was a man with a guitar. He was great, just u expected. I think the menu should be updated to add more bar food options. The portions are small and are just ok. The drinks were good but somewhat on the expensive side. The staff was nice but sometimes intimidating, by walking by and staring.

Nestled in a charming setting, The Rustic is a delightful venue that embodies the spirit of community and music. With its focus on locally sourced American cuisine and an impressive selection of Texas brews, this restaurant offers more than just great food; it’s a hub for live entertainment. The outdoor patio creates an inviting atmosphere where guests can savor their meals while enjoying performances under the stars.
Me and my husband went last night, it was our first time here. Our waiter was Mac he was so nice and always checking in making sure we were good and if we needed anything. We had the onion rings as an appetizer and hands down the best onion rings I have ever had. I had a dish that mac recommended off the menu the Cedar plank salmon which was DELICIOUS! The dish was perfect and so full of flavor. I also had a drink that the bartender recommended which was the pineapple smoke and it was also delicious! I didnt get the bartenders name but I'd like to thank both the waiter and the bartender for giving us an amazing experience. We will be returning again.

My friend and I popped into The Rustic in Dallas this past Saturday, and while the place was absolutely packed—a good sign, really—we were pleasantly surprised to snag a table for two right away, even without a reservation! The atmosphere was buzzing, set by some really fantastic live music that made the whole experience feel energetic and fun. We both went for the brunch special, which at $21 per person was incredibly affordable. It was a great deal, offering more than enough food to fill us up. We also ordered two mimosas, which were decent but nothing spectacular. The food itself was good, not necessarily "blow-you-away amazing," but certainly satisfying. My personal favorite part of the plate was the little slices of French toast—they were delicious! Overall, the ambience is what really makes The Rustic shine. It's a lively spot with good vibes, affordable prices, and great music. I'd definitely come back to try something different from their regular menu next time!

We were looking for a pet friendly spot to have dinner and we found a great one. Really nice restaurant with a great vibe. Indoor and outdoor seating options but in the outdoor area you can listen to live music as the stage is set outdoors. menu was good, would like a little more variety as it leans heavier to spicy food but we were able to find stuff we liked. The meatballs were hearty and full of flavor, and the smoky queso had just the right balance of creamy and bold — perfect for sharing. But the real surprise star of the night? The kids’ chicken quesadilla! Cheesy, golden, and so delicious that the adults at the table couldn’t help but steal a few bites. Pair it all with their craft cocktails (which are just as good as they look) and the unbeatable vibe of live tunes under the Texas sky, and you’ve got yourself the recipe for a perfect night out.

The Grapevine Bar is a laid-back and inclusive neighborhood haunt in Dallas, known for its mismatched furnishings and diverse crowd. It has been recognized as both the best straight bar by a leading gay publication and the best gay bar by a straight magazine. The bar offers ridiculously cheap drinks, including frozen beverages made with Everclear, and hosts some of the best happy hours in town. Its rooftop deck provides a great spot to enjoy drinks while taking in the city skyline.
My 2nd trip. I've experienced the inside and outside stages. It's OK to dance! So, come as you are. It's an inclusive spot, and you'll find no fighting here. Parkland is visible. It's not residential, so live music can go to midnight and beyond. Easy access to I-35 or I-30 via Hampton south to head back to Tarrant County.

Cool, local (semi-dive) bar in Dallas. Had a pretty good beer selection and chill atmosphere. Lots of couches and comfortable chairs. Prices weren't exorbitant, just pretty average. Glad it was close and we stopped in.
Preston B — Google review
Having moved back to Dallas from living in Austin for many years, I had always missed going to a quirky, cozy divey-feeling bar. The moment we walked in the decor really catches your eye and there is a small stage on the right. The bar has cute light fixtures over it and there are coin pool tables with pink and purple felt. The seating varies from sofas to chairs to bar stools inside. Outside they have a patio that extends beyond what you might expect. In other words it is massive! There is also another stage out there and the ambience is very cool. It almost feels like a brewery with tons of picnic table seating and open air for the smokers who want to smoke and socialize. The service was great, the drink selection was good, and the inside/outside hang out space was really just the best. The only downside that I can think of for this place is maybe that they don't have that much parking space? I mean that's me trying hard to come up with some flaw about this place! Come check them out, period. You won't regret it!

Cool set up with a ball court, bags, pool table and little stage. Saw a u2 cover band. They were good and played one long set - 1.5 hours.

On Monday nights we play bingo @7!!! Found this spot after looking for the best bar on a Monday in Dallas near downtown and this hangout didn’t disappoint. The host James and bartender Robert made our experience one of a kind. Drinks are cheap and everyone there is social. This place is a jewel.

The vibes here are amazing!! My boyfriend had a show with his RHCP tribute band, the Red Hot Ghost Peppers. The sound and service were both incredible, and the location was perfectly placed for some of the band members. The bartender and server were both so on top of everything, and they have the coolest patio area I've ever seen. Even for an August night, we were surprisingly cool with all the fans they had on. We'll definitely come back just to hang out and enjoy the excellent service!🩷

Known for its expertly mixed cocktails, Tiny Victories offers cleverly named drinks at affordable prices, starting at just $7.
Wow! Visiting Dallas from Nashville and stumbled upon this place. Literally stumbled because it’s hidden. So glad we did! We had the female bar tender brunette with bangs and was very sweet and attentive. The drinks are absolutely insane the way they taste and presentation. Love this place! I’m not sure of all of the one star vibes but it looks like some drunk girl got all of her friends to write the same review for her. Edit: bartender’s name is Laney and she is phenomenal! Love her!

Not to be confused with Small Victory. Very good selection of spirits for straight pours and solid cocktail skills among the staff. Lets you bring in outside food. DJ on the weekend don’t can get a little loud. Great neighborhood spot.

The atmosphere was cool, music was great and food was good, BUT WHATS MAKES A GREAT BAR???... The bartender!!! The bartender SUCKED. His attitude was horrible, he could not recommend a drink for me to try, he had no specialty drinks that are popular to that bar. I had a Applebee's experience in a niche bar space. If management replaces this poor representation of their investment, I can quickly see this place becoming a FAN FAVORITE!!! *** NEW PATRONS or Curious Drinkers BEWARE***

Such a nice and chill spot for drinks or a date. We tried maybe 10+ different drinks and loved everyone. The 2 Baristas were fantastic, exceptional service and atmosphere all around.

What a delightful location for cocktails whilst visiting Oak Cliff! The waitstaff was super attentive and the drinks are very good too. Want extra olives in your martini? No problem- the bartender is happy to accommodate your request. The outdoor seating is sparse- a couple of tables in front and a lounge off to the side. The lounge would have been more comfortable than the table on Tyler, but their were smokers in the lounge - which made it uncomfortable for those of us who choose not to smoke. Inside, the music was loud. Really loud. My husband and I wanted a quiet post meal cocktail and drinking and taking inside Tiny Victories was not possible. So 4 stars because it is good- but not excellent. And why the neon TYPO sign on top? The bold, bright letters in this vintage area looked like a mistake on the part of the building owner. But TV was good - so Cheers!!!

Wow - what a wonderful restaurant! Our party of 4 sampled many delicious items. We had the good fortune of meeting the chef as well as the general manager while our table was being set up. That set the stage for a great evening. The atmosphere is unique, the staff knowledgeable, and the presentation very upscale. All recommendations were accurate as well as delicious. Service was consistent with thoughtful consideration given to our inquiries. We will be back soon!

Favorite restaurant downtown! I’ve celebrated the past 3 anniversary’s here with my husband. Food and drinks are always amazing. Ask for Chris! He is very nice, attentive, makes you feel like family, and takes great care of us each time! We won’t have any other server except him! Duck-Duck Tots are delicious as well as the Crab Nachos, and “101” Pork Belly Crackling! The outdoor patio seating is our favorite for gorgeous downtown views.

Beautiful ambiance. Amazing food as well. It was my birthday and they served so quickly! Had an awesome waiter, tall dark skinned guy that was just the sweetest. Recommended a delicious drink! If it wasn’t so strong I would’ve gotten 2 🤣 Had the Filet Mignon, Ribeye Carrots, Garlic Fries, Lobster Mac. 10/10 $195 was my total for all including an alcoholic drink.

Colin is a great server. He is kind, friendly and super nice!!! He gives the best suggestion on food and drinks. My favorite drink is In Love with CoCo. So happy to find a place like this when relocating has made Dallas feel lonely at times. I know I can stop by Woolworth and feel like I'm Norm at Cheers and it doesn't get any better than that. Happiest Hour is a trendy bar and restaurant located in the bustling Harwood District, just a short walk from the American Airlines Center. It boasts Dallas' largest rooftop terrace with stunning skyline views. The venue offers a wide range of food and drinks, including nacho towers, artisan sandwiches, flatbreads, steaks, crab mac & cheese, family-style cocktails, wines on tap, and over fifty beer selections.
We tried this place recently for a happy hour and had a good experience. The place is massive with seating inside, outside on the patio, and on the rooftop. It was 90+ degrees, so we sat in the bar area at a table. They have great happy hour specials with half-off appetizers and cocktails. We tried the dip trio as an appetizer. Great portions of dip for the price. My wife tried the Berries from the West and I tried the Game Time old fashioned. Both had great flavor. Our service was great. We will definitely be back.

I was visiting from out of town and stopped by the Happiest Hour for drinks and lunch. The staff was fine, but they seemed more engaged in their own conversation when I arrived, which may have distracted them from attending to me right away. I ordered my food at the bar and chose to sit outside on the rooftop patio, where I was welcome to seat myself. I ordered brisket nachos, which were brought to me, but I didn't receive any utensils or napkins. The view was pleasant, but overall, the food and service were mediocre.

I almost don't want to put this review because I don't want to disturb the ecosystem they have going on but here it is. This Spot is a rare find. Amazing vibe and interior setup with fabulous rooftop patio surrounded by the gorgeous downtown lights and skyscrapers. The staff is engaging and friendly and there were lots of beautiful patrons. Bottle service upstairs. Come and enjoy yourself but don't disturb the ratio. That's part of what makes this place so special.

We truly cannot thank the Happiest Hour team enough for hosting our welcome party! It was an INCREDIBLE evening and us and all of our guests had the best time. They have an amazing coordinator named Lauren, who is fantastic to work with - she made the welcome party the easiest part of our entire wedding weekend to plan! The process was smooth, efficient, professional, and incredibly uncomplicated, which is rare when planning an event for 200. The services and elements included (between spaces, staffing, AV, menu, set up/tear down, additional tables, etc) were exactly what we needed, making us able to easily customize everything exactly how we wanted. Lauren was highly responsive and helpful with her recommendations as well regarding food quantities, space reservations, and layout! The night of, the staff was beyond kind, helpful and accommodating the entire time! Arnold and Megan led the evening and they were so proactive making sure us and our guests were taken care of the entire time. The team helped us make last minute set up adjustments, pass out welcome bags, and helped clean up, really allowing us to be guests at our own event. Could not have asked for a better team across the board!! Lastly, many of our guests went out of their way to give us amazing feedback on the quality of the food!! Between he buffet and the passed apps, everything was delicious. Overall we had such a positive experience, and definitely recommend hosting events with the Harwood team!

The Old Monk is a cozy pub in Dallas known for its extensive beer list, American fare, and lively patio. Despite being more of a traditional pub than a cocktail bar, it stands out for serving top-notch Old Fashioneds and boasting the most comprehensive whiskey selection in town. The friendly atmosphere on the patio offers a perfect setting to enjoy the featured cocktail of the month alongside addictive frites with bourbon mayo.
Sit wherever you want. It’s nice out on the patio when the weather is good. The fish was crispy and tasty with the side tartar sauce, not fishy tasting. The fries were seasoned great and I think you could ask for the skinny fries if you prefer those. Free drink samples on beer if you are unsure which you would prefer!

This is a lovely brunch spot in a trendy neighborhood. Their mimosas are good and the fish and chips were delicious. They provided malt vinegar on the table. This is a great place to relax on a Sunday and people-watch; plus our server was very pleasant and attentive.

We used to come here all the time before we moved from the area. We came back today it was great as usual. I typically get the chicken strips because they might be my favorite in Dallas. Today I went with the chicken, biscuits, and gravy on the brunch menu. While I thought it was good, I regretted not getting the chicken strips. They are too good! The rest of the group got a salad and eggs Benedict and said it was great (pictured). A dog friendly patio is a plus and the staff immediately brought us a dog bowl. Highly recommend if you want a casual bite with good drinks!

We were so excited to visit the Old Monk. The food didn’t disappoint. Huge portions and full of flavor. Our server was good, but she had a lot of tables, so she was super busy. The only downside was the music. The music was so incredibly loud you had to yell to hear each other, and this was on the patio. It was punk rock music, which is great for jamming, but blaring full blast in a crowded restaurant. Overall disappointed in our visit.

Atmosphere: clean, laid back and casual. Fish and chips: Amazing! Service: excellent I love a good plate of fish and chips so I decided to try this place. They have an expansive outdoor seating area that is warm and inviting with wooden tables and plants. Most of the area is covered and they can enclose it by lowering the side curtains if the weather is bad. The fish and chips were excellent. Perfectly battered, crisp and juicy. The home made tartar sauce had capers in it and it was good as well. The service was excellent. I got my food approx. 10 min after ordering. The wait staff was attentive. There is also an attached parking lot with dedicated parking which is a big plus. Overall great experience. I will return.

I was visiting on business & luv to go local wherever I find myself. This was a HIDDEN GEM! I ordered the BLT&A (a baseline menu item) IT WAS PERFECT. The bacon was cooked just right (not brittle or gummy). The spice gave flavor with a touch of heat - again just the right amount to compliment the other flavors. The only negative I will include is this personal preference- the avocado was too skimpy. But that is just my personal like.

A great place to hang out and listen to live music. The bar has a unique atmosphere and a vibe reminiscent of old American movies filmed in 1980s. The food menu was simple, I ordered “Burger of the Month” and it was great. The only negative thing is that they charge $10 per person at the entrance, I guess for the live music!

Our first time and would love to go back when a different band is there. Food was good beer was cold. They do need some wait staff for outside... seemed if they had a waitress outside, I probably would have stayed and drank more... just didn't want to run up to the bar each time. Tucked away in not great part of the city, but loved the vibe once we got there.

Great place to kick back and drink beer. I also had a patty melt with onion rings, service for food was fast, beer was cold and atmosphere is great. Mt only complaint was there was only one bar tender, now she was doing a great job, but there was only one of her, and it took a while to get the check. I just didn't plan right, so it was me, but check them out yourself and let use know. As always my 2 cents.

Love this place! Got a very awesome 70's dive bar vibe. Plenty of space there too. Most of it is outside and/or subject to the elements. So if it's cold, rainy, or really hot, dress appropriately. I got the 1/2 pound burger with blue cheese and a side of fries and it was really good. I forgot to tell them I wanted it medium rare so I got it medium instead (my bad). Also, not a lot of choices for spirits or beer, although they carried a few good local beers which I had. I knocked off 1 star for the lack of spirits and beer. I definitely recommend this place though! Cheers!

Black Swan Saloon is a cozy and unassuming speakeasy located on Elm Street, offering a laid-back atmosphere, creative cocktails, and occasional live music. The bar prides itself on using farm-fresh ingredients and house-made syrups to craft unique concoctions like four-pepper tequila infusions. Guests can unwind with their expertly crafted drinks while enjoying the sounds of live country and blues music or playing vintage arcade games.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Black Swan, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. My first stop right off the airplane from Quebec, this bar set the tone for a great trip. The moment I walked in, I was struck by the unique cowboy thematic decor, particularly the Québec Star Wars posters in French, which added a fun and nostalgic touch. The bartender, Millie, was incredibly sweet and attentive. Her dedication to crafting the perfect cocktail was evident in every drink she made. I asked for a custom cocktail, and she didn’t disappoint – the attention to detail and the balance of flavors were spot on. What stood out most about Black Swan was its integrated vibe. The place was buzzing with a diverse crowd, representing a wonderful mix of cultures. It felt welcoming and inclusive, a true reflection of the city’s spirit. Whether you’re a local or a traveler like me, you’ll find the atmosphere inviting and vibrant. I’ll definitely be back on my next trip!

Bijou is a word I use to describe a venue that’s petite, and charming. Black Swan Saloon is just that. Although intimate they manage to accommodate a diverse audience with a few seating options, as well as libations ranging from beer to craft cocktails. Parking can be a bit tricky, however they do have a small lot. The consistent hours are a plus for those who enjoy a late night cocktail. On a busy evening a restroom visit requires patience; which isn’t uncommon with many bars in Dallas. Black Swan Saloon is a little tricky to find on all social media or review platforms; I’m sure they’ll fix that. You’ll have a great time, and if you see me there say hello. Xoxo Lorenzo!

This place just opened up across the street so I had to check it out. It was there first Friday to be open. I got there about 5 mins before opening and they let me have a seat inside while they continued opening up. Millie poured me a cucumber water and game me a menu. Will introduced himself next from behind the bar welcoming me in. I'm not a big cocktail person so I just went with a Modelo beer. I can't remember a couple other staff's name but everyone was welcoming and we were all chatting about them opening back up since their previous location closed during Covid. Within about 30mins people filled up the seats at the bar and people were charging back and forth. It was a cool vibe. I'll definitely go back and I highly recommend everyone check it out.

The restaurant looks nice and British from outside, so we went for a meal. We saw some dishes we liked in Google's photo album, but they were no longer on the menu as they were from a year ago. So we ordered their recommended Blue cheese chicken sandwich and salmon, which were a bit salty. The Blue Moon beer was good though.

Okay obsessed with this place! Loved the vibes! Came in for some food and was very surprised! All flavorful and reasonably priced! The only thing I wanted after leaving was a shirt or a hat!!!! Thank you so much Gina the bartender, Beto the server, and their barback Rogelio for a great time! Will be coming back! FOOD: Pork Chop $16 so yummy and such a great price The Cuban Sandwich $16 fries to die for Nachos w/ Carnitas $12 throw some jalapeños on that bad boy and you’re good to go!

We love the Libertine! It's a great local bar that has great food and a fun vibe. We even take the kids to dinner here on the outside patio. They have good happy hour specials and do fun trivia games on certain nights too. I tell all of my real estate clients about this spot in our neighborhood!
Kasey P — Google review
Bar is nice and bartenders are attentive. My complaint is that their chalkboard menu has happy hour beers as "$5 dollar drafts" however once I questioned why the bill had $8 drafts, I was told "sorry only select drafts are $5". Seems easy enough to add that clarification so that customers know to ask which beers are $5. I felt like this was unnecessarily deceptive. Im giving one star because the menu is intentionally set up to deceive customers.

Checked out this place on a busy Friday for happy hour. The good thing is that happy hour runs from 4-7 PM, a tad later than most places in the neighborhood. So if you’re looking for a decent drink at a modest price, this could be a choice. A plus is the outside area which is great for hanging and people watching the Greenville area. (We sat inside since it was a tad chilly) For drinks, we tried the frozen margarita and an IPA on draft. They serve about 5-6 more cocktails on the HH menu which seemed like solid choices. Now, the food was a different story. We ordered the queso, pretzel, popcorn chicken and double cheeseburger. The queso had a decent taste except that it was literally runny and couldn’t scoop it with the chips! The pretzel was flat out cold and hard. Popcorn chicken was not bad honestly, minus the hair we found on the last piece. The cheeseburger in our opinion was the only item that we would order again if we came back. The server that helped us was kind and attentive. Our recommendation is to stop by only for the drinks and skip the food!

Came for Wednesday happy hour and trivia. Food is so so affordable, delicious, and trivia was so much fun. Cannot wait to come back!!
Katterli E — Google review
So basically the food and drinks were fine, it was the bartender that sincerely disappointed us. I don’t remember his name (I’m 99% sure he didn’t tell us his actual name), but he was extremely inhospitable. He did exactly what you don’t want: made us feel super unwelcome. Again, no direct memory of his name but we were there Tuesday, 9/30 between around 6pm-7:30pm. Anytime we needed his attention, it felt like an inconvenience. As service industry people ourselves, it was very disappointing. Just made us feel annoying. Might I add, we were one of the only people there, it was otherwise dead. Wonder why ?

I've been here a few times now and I gotta be honest...I love their happy hour. It goes until 7pm, has both food and good drinks. Has light music so it's not too loud. Easy parking across the street (behind the gelato spot). Honestly, one of my top happy hour spots in Greenville. 5/5 would recommend and WILL go again. Catbird is an elegant rooftop restaurant and bar located at The Thompson Hotel in Downtown Dallas. It offers Asian-inspired cuisine with a focus on small plates, including Wagyu beef bao buns, grilled octopus tacos, and roasted Brussels sprouts. The venue features wraparound outdoor seating with comfortable couches and gas-powered fire pits for cooler evenings. With a dress code in place, it's the perfect spot for enjoying classic cocktails while taking in the city views.
A friend recommended Catbird as a nice spot to celebrate our 9 year anniversary. This place did not disappoint! The atmosphere is amazing. We came early and watched the sunset from our table. It was so nice! But the best part was our server, GABBY! She’s awesome! Her food and drink recommendations were perfect. Ask for Gabby when you come!
Jessica W — Google review
The place is beautiful and luxurious, there are quality people there and not like the other bars. We bought three shocking drinks, it's the worst drink I've ever tasted, it was a drink with sour juice with olives and onions and the second 2 drinks it was a coconut milk cocktail or something and it was reasonable and almost bad. The atmosphere in the place is very fun, nice people and excellent service, nice view, probably not like New York or Miami but good enough for Dallas. The toilets were very clean. The music was good and the DJ was good. But I wouldn't recommend drinking their cocktails. But it's really worth visiting this place

We made reservations earlier this week for my spouses birthday and yesterday evening we got notified the restaurant had a buy out and would need to move our reservation back a half hour. We were already on a tight schedule but couldn’t find another restaurant we wanted to try so we looked at the menu ahead of time to be able to order when we walked in. From the second we entered Catbird the staff was incredibly attentive and welcoming. They made sure to get us sat right away. The manager apologized for the shift in reservation and upon coming back to our seats from outside we were treated with complimentary champagne. We order drinks and an appetizer and when it came time to close our tab our waitress informed us that it was taken care of. This is how you run business. We will ABSOLUTELY be back. We had one one of the most beautiful nights and were treated beyond amazing. Your staff is what restaurants should strive for.

My Husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time and we truly enjoyed it. I was skeptical at first but our waitress Gabby recommended some cocktails and different tapas for us to try and we loved them all. From the popcorn chicken, to the smash burger, to the fried rice, to the crab Rangoon dip, and lastly the salmon temaki tacos, everything was so good! Ladies please try the Late Night Lychee drink, it’s soooo good! Men try the Wolf of Elm street drink. You won’t regret it. Thanks Gabby for being the best waitress ever! We appreciate you!❤️

what an amazing experience overall wonderful views, great food and amazing drinks. However, All these amazing amenities and features pale in comparison to the amazing service that we received from Lawren . By far, one of the best servers that I’ve ever experienced in my entire life. Plus, She had cool shoes on. Lawren invited us back with a smile. She’s absolutely tha best!

Our team's happy hour was truly exceptional! From the moment we arrived, Manager Marty ensured that every detail was perfect—his attentiveness made our experience seamless and enjoyable. The food and drinks were outstanding. The service was prompt and friendly throughout the evening. The ambiance, both indoors and out on the balconies, was incredible—stylish, comfortable, and perfect for our gathering. I’m happy to give Catbird a full 5 out of 5 stars across the board for food, drinks, service, and atmosphere. We had an event here in February that was just as incredible which is why we can back and you didn't disappoint. I've been highly recommending Catbird to friends and associates for both business and social events!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Service! I had the pleasure of being served by Lauren and she was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we sat down, she was attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. She anticipated our needs without us even having to ask, and her knowledge of the menu and recommendations were spot-on. What really stood out was her professionalism paired with a warm personality—it made our dining experience feel special and personal. You can tell she takes pride in her work and truly cares about her guests. If every restaurant had someone like her, dining out would always be a joy. Thank you for making our visit so memorable, we had fun and will definitely be back.

Double D's Bar, a recent addition to the Design District by This & That Hospitality, offers a laid-back atmosphere with retro furnishings and neon signs. The bar serves an array of original and classic cocktails, including draft options like the Cold Fashioned made with whiskey and Earl Grey tea. Despite its name, Double D's is not what you think; it stands for Design District. The spacious venue features various seating areas, a bar wrapping around, pool table, TV monitors, and valet parking.
One of the best bars in Dallas. The drinks are amazing, my favorite is the frozen strawberry daiquiri. Thursdays and Sundays are my favorite nights. The vibes are immaculate and be ready to dance. Grown up and sexy vibes here leave the extra ish at home. Come early or you’ll have to wait in line.

Great bar with a cool retro vibe and lively atmosphere. After my last visit I had found someone's drinks were accidentally added to my tab (understandable given that they are were packed). Upon inquiring about this, the manager Chris was very responsive, and even offered to refund the rest of my tab due to the mistake made. Very generous. I will be coming back soon.

Girls Night started great. The men at the door were super polite. When we first arrived around 8pm, our server was prompt and attentive. Drinks were delicious, however, two drinks later, we never saw him again. It had gotten a little busier, but nothing insane that someone couldn't have easily checked on us (10pm). Make sure to eat ahead of time. They do not serve food, which is fine if you are prepared for it if drinking alcohol. A nice list of flavorful non-alcoholic beverages are also offered, which was nice. Cute little hangout.

Just go here ! Wow what a vibeee ! I found this place on TikTok while I was in town visiting from Houston and it is a must try ! There was a bit of a line when we got there but boy was it worth the wait ! The security guard Shaq was so sweet! He thanked us for being patient while waiting and even noticed it was my boyfriend’s birthday 🥹! It wasn’t a bunch of sections and hookah just good music and everyone up dancing! The prices were great too ! I’ll definitely be back when I’m in town again!

Bar
Located in the emerging Cedars neighborhood, south of the bustling Deep Ellum area, Mike's Gemini Twin Lounge is a trendy establishment that offers classic cocktails at affordable prices. This dive bar exudes a nostalgic atmosphere while also providing a fresh and popular local hangout spot. With vintage booths, potent beverages, and unconventional bar snacks (such as pickled sausages), patrons can easily lose track of time in this unique setting.
This bar holds a special place in my heart; it's a true local favorite. Moving away from Dallas made me realize how much I missed its laid-back, dive-bar charm. The atmosphere is consistently welcoming and fun. While the beer selection has evolved, and the legendary $8 Hamm's pitchers are now a memory, it remains a reliable spot for a relaxed beer with friends. What truly stands out is their surprisingly delicious hot dogs. Despite my general aversion to them, theirs are always freshly made, generously topped, and make for a perfect, no-fuss happy hour meal with a side of chips. The array of board games provides a welcome alternative to simply chatting, and the staff are always friendly and conversational, especially if you're flying solo. I have fond memories of their generous free shot promotions for early patrons, a testament to their welcoming spirit. I'm not sure if they still offer them, but it definitely added to the bar's unique appeal.

Hot dog is ok. Bartenders are generally pretty good but if management wants to put their playlist on after a certain time to keep their "vibe" going then just let everybody know. Also, a little overpriced but whatever

So, we had a misunderstanding with getting hotdogs. Too complicated to say here. But, we gave up on the food and they solved the issue eventually. They ran outside across the street as we were about to leave, and they gave us our hot dogs 30 seconds before the uber arrived. I got to go home with the hot dogs! They really cared about solving issues. They a good people and want everyone to have a great time. Ya’ll are the best!

Visited Gemini Twin Lounge for the first time last night. How fun! Swanky, uber-cool digs! Took a seat at the bar, and Ivy poured me a mighty fine Old-Fashioned! Enjoyed myself a hot dog too. A BRISKET hot dog! So good! Next time, I'll get the Wagyu Beef! Friendly staff. Friendly regulars. Perfect tunes playing overhead, including Stevie Ray Vaughan (BIG Win for me ;)). Had a great time, and I'll definitely be back. Thank you Luxury Gift Envelope for the introduction.

Some venues know who they are, and that’s enough! So is the story of Mike’s Gemini Twin. I’ve heard about Mike’s Gemini long before I sashayed through their doors for the first time, and I’m glad I finally did. In my category of venues, Mike’s classifies as a dive bar with crosstown appeal, attracting everyone from pro ballplayers, to stars of the service industry, and socialites such as myself. If you’re looking for a fun time, place to enjoy a cocktail with rare finds, bar-bites, or a game of billiards, all while getting to know some of the coolest people from around town, this is your place. Mike’s Gemini also offers a patio for those who enjoy the outdoors. Maybe this isn’t your neck of the woods, so it can be a little difficult to find the first time, but I did it, so I’m confident you’ll be okay! Xoxo Lorenzo!

Amazing experience! Great idea to showcase upcoming talented mixologists from Dallas! We came for Tony Villalobos! He is the best! Ever since we tried his mezcal, sotol, tequila cocktails we were converted and won’t look back. We loved each and every drink and also tried some of the Jettison drinks and had the cheese plate and potosinas. Thank you all for an amazing experience!

Incredible bar. George and his apprentice are exquisite and are truly passionate about cocktails they craft. It may be easy to miss this place but be mindful, as it is hands down one of the best bars in Dallas. The interior is classy, dark, and intimate. What else could you ask for in a bar? I’ll be coming here again and again.

The Avion is my cocktail of the year for 2022! It is a riff of of a Paper Plain (get it, Avion? I loved the name). How many times do you have a cocktail and then go out and buy all the ingredients so you can make it at home? The bar was warm and friendly and the staff was clearly knowledgeable. I will definitely be returning!
Colin O — Google review
Drinks were well crafted, and the design of the space is so aesthetic! The three stars comes from the ok service. The bartenders weren't welcoming at all, and when we asked what drinks on the menu they recommended, the one serving us said "whatever you like to drink". Once we got our drinks, it was the last interaction we had with them - no one came to check on us, refill the waters they gave us, or see if we needed another drink once our glasses were empty. And it was only us and two other people in the bar at the time and 3 bartenders. Then, when closing out, the tip suggestions were 25%, 30%, and 35%! For those amounts the service at least needs to be good and welcoming. I'm calling this trip satisfactory and will seek after-work drinks elsewhere.

Saint Valentine is not just a bar, but a fantastic lounge with an open atmosphere and friendly staff. Gabe Sanchez, the renowned bartender and owner, ensures a well-put-together establishment with great food and drinks. The menu offers thoughtfully crafted drinks and incredibly made food, such as the highly recommended hamburger and fried olives stuffed with sausage from Jimmy's. The place has an unmatched atmosphere, service, and quality that make every visit enjoyable.
Saint Valentine is a great spot to grab a cocktail in Dallas. Bartenders are knowledgeable and personable. Their menu offers a large collection of unique drinks including the incredible La Niña but they are also willing to go off menu to make something custom for you. A great spot and one I'll surely be back to! You should go too!

I have long been a fan of Gabe Sanchez and his mixology endeavors. First, with Black Swan, at its original location in Deep Ellum. This is where I learned to love and appreciate a fancy cocktail. Then I found him at Midnight Rambler. So when I found out he had opened a new spot, I rushed to check it out. Saint Valentine has now become my favorite bar in all of Dallas. The food and drink are second to none and the atmosphere is just cool. Classy yet edgy, you can go for drinks after a fancy event in your formal-wear or jeans and a shirt and fit right in. The music is always great too. I hosted my brother’s engagement party here recently and SV went above and beyond to accommodate us. We had our own special menu and our very own cocktail, the Bayou Tush Push LOL. It was over way too soon and everyone had a blast. Thank you to Gabe and his crew for all that you do, and for just being you! I <3 SV <3

Unmatched atmosphere, service, & quality!! The drinks are thoughtfully crafted & the food is incredibly made. You can’t make a wrong menu choice- I’ve had so many dishes and drinks & loved every one. All of the staff makes you feel like you belong. I love their round corner booths for a group night out (seats about 6-8) or even sitting on the patio when the weather’s nice. Swing by and see for yourself!!

No pictures because we devoured Misti’s wonderful food and greatly enjoyed the not too sweet cocktails. Service was impeccable. The Cosmic peanut butter dessert was definitely the highlight but the shrimp toast and white bean jalapeno dip was close behind. Cocktail prices are great during happy hour. Such a staple Dallas spot! Tons of seating outside and great for large groups. We ordered the hamburger which was perfectly cooked and stocked with all the toppings. The fries are incredible. Also got the grilled cheese which was insane. Good beer and great vibes too.

I came here to celebrate my sons 17th birthday. The food is overpriced compared to portion and preparation. You should not put "nachos" on a menu when you are serving six chips with toppings. The tacos were decent, but extremely sloppy, and again, pricing is crazy compared to costing (worked in F&B for 10 years as a chef). The atmosphere would be my majority of the draw to come to this establishment. I at least was looking forward to giving their BBQ an enthusiast, but it was sold out at 4 pm on a Saturday, also disappointing. The restaurant is cool outside and inside, and the vibe is good, but vibes are more of its strength. Food and presentation and execution of the cuisine are definitely lacking. Also, the adult beverage menu has no pricing and was shocked at prices when receiving the bill. I will say our service was exceptional. Our server was Maddy, and she was very informative and attentive. Unfortunately, it's not a place i would plan on coming back to except to possibly try the BBQ.

Katy Trail Ice House has always been one of our favorite hangout spots. My wife and I used to come here to unwind with a few drinks and bring our dog along — he’d get so excited seeing all the other pups outside. It’s the perfect place to kick back on a hot summer day, and now that the weather’s cooling down, it’s even better. My wife’s go-to drink is the Summer Brew which is always a hit. Great vibes, friendly crowd, and an unbeatable atmosphere!

SCREAM FROM THE ROOFTOPS, This place is fantastic!!! From their awesome beers to their wide variety of games and absolutely bangin nachos!!! If you haven't been you need to, if you have, you're probably reading this thinking.... Dang that was one of the best breweries ever. Can't wait to return.

They had a disc golf basket full of putters. This place is awesome. Huge cooler full of to go cans. I love the smiley face logo. The only beer I remember drinking was the Dallas Blonde and it was good. My mom liked the beer & she is not easy to please. Lots of fun to be had here

First start off with the good. And by good I mean great. The Cuban sandwich was amazing. Seriously check out the picture. I also tried the veggie taco which was SO tasty. I was disappointed with the size at $4.50 per taco, otherwise I would’ve gotten more. If you’re gonna charge that much at least give me a bigger tortilla! The beer however I thought was just ok. There are so many great brewery options in the DFW area, and I just thought every beer was fine. Nothing stood out as being above average except maybe the honey mesquite ale which I thought was funky in a good way. I almost gave it 3* because the price point is the same as the best breweries. Which I’m sorry the beer just doesn’t stack up. But the sandwich was so amazing which bumped it up to 4 in my book. Will return to eat for sure

Good spot for a Saturday. Came to Dallas for the weekend, but if I’m ever in town again I’ll come by here. My spicy chicken sandwich was very, very good. I’d eat it again. Got the pretzels, too. They were fine. $20 on Saturday mornings for three beers, a beer glass, and a tour of the brewery is an awesome deal. The tour wasn’t anything special.

Beer was not that great. I tried liking them, at least one. The one I could drink was the Deep Ellum IPA. I felt the others lacked character and flavor. The place is definitely cool though, great place to just hang out. Met decent people here and I would give it another try. Since I couldn't finish the two flights they only charged me for one. Great place, just wasn't a fan of the beer. Pizza looked good but I didn't taste it.

This is the 1st time visiting a brewery in Dallas. I use to drink a lot of beer, but this was a excellent trip & adventure. I chose 4 beers that were more like domestic type of beers. I enjoyed tasting the different flavors & the stories behind them. My favorite ended up being the Comfort, because it tasted more like liquor that I drink now with the oak flavor & it seemed stronger than the other ones. All the foods were good, but could've used more salt, pepper or somewhere seasonings! The best thing at our table was the pizza & then the Reuben sandwich! The philly cheese shake is more Tex-Mex & could use the most seasoning of all the dishes we ate!!!! I watched the Waitress & saw her be very cleanly & not try to sneak & reuse napkins & stuff! Can't tell you the amount of stars they get for this! The ONLY REASON not getting the 5 stars was because id the seasoning! But we'll be back!

Great brewery with a fantastic atmosphere!! The patio area is definitely one of the better ones I've seen. Food trucks are parked there almost daily to fulfill your food cravings.

A moderate selection of beers. No sours at the time we were here. The food truck made the appetizers available and tasty. They had trivia night tonight, and it was a good time for us who are not good at that game, and we don't cheat. Lol.

The highlight of this spot is its expansive open-air courtyard with heated patio, picnic tables, and sand ground. A striking giant chandelier adds an extra touch to the casual atmosphere.
Dots hop house and cocktail courtyard is an awesome place to grab anything! The food is artisan dressed and delicious. You can’t go wrong on the food choice. The amazing selection of beers are posted on the wall and numbered for your selection. Bar tender can help if you’re having trouble choosing. The liquor drinks are great and plenty of liquor to choose from top shelf! The seating area has tables indoor and outdoor with killer friendly good time vibes! The is a definite stop in Dallas you have to make! You won’t be disappointed.

Dot's has an extensive beer and cocktail list, including several cocktails in tap. There are many indoor dining tables, booths, and bar seats. They also have a large outdoor space of tables and some shade, all scented by a large chandelier and stained glass monument to Dallas' sports victories. Located in one of deep ellum's main streets, there is paid street parking and paid parking garages nearby.

My wife and I dropped by for brunch with 4 friends a Saturday mid May just before noon. The service was nice and polite. The food selection nice - and served fairly fast. The waitress told us that the food is freshly made with ingredients for the local area - and there is no microwave in the kitchen. The music outside is really LOUD. We asked if it could now turned down a bit - but that was not possible.?.. Later we returned for some beers - they have 99 different beers to choose from. We sat inside this time - and the music is less noisy there. Very nice experiences all in all.

Absolutely amazing service. Our server was Mercedes and she was excellent. She was always there when we needed her and never left us waiting for anything. She laughed and smiled, and we had a great time. Will definitely be coming back because the service here was excellent. Great job and keep it up!

This is a fun dive-y bar with great atmosphere & an extensive beer list. Indoor seating along with a big outdoor courtyard. On our last visit, one bartender was great, and the other was the kind that sees you but doesn’t see you, if you know what I mean. All in all a great place worth visiting. They have a food menu - my dining companions said it was solid. No vegetarian options though.

We hosted a going away party for friends at Dot's and the staff was so welcoming and very attentive! They went all out to help us with our event. Music was popping and drinks were fantastic! Amazing outdoor space, and the inside of the bar was also great. Ladies, there's also clean bathrooms!

Warm atmosphere. Seemed a very safe environment mid afternoon Saturday. Owner and staff very welcoming and tolerant. Great for family celebrating. Parking across street. Delicious burger! Huge selection of brews. I didn't care for the sweet potato tots, but that's a personal problem. 😋 😆

Cocktail bar
The Mitchell is a chic and versatile watering hole located in a stylish 1920's building, offering an upscale bar experience with a touch of glamour. The bar boasts an enormous liquor selection, including dozens of gins and party-ready Champagne options. Its tiny kitchen produces hearty cheeseburgers, French bistro food like steak frites, venison tartare, and fresh oysters.
Looking for an elegant speakeasy that serves oysters 🦪 with black caviar and champagne; escargots, frog legs and more, in the heart of Downtown D! All while having local musicians play jazz or other ambient live music, then this place is a must-try! It’s right behind the Adolphus Tower on Main St. They also host oyster happy hours once in awhile. The oysters and caviar prices are great, the quality of oysters was 🔝 (PEIs and others east coast bivalves depending on the day and market), as well as caviar - priced reasonably! You can light up a cigar on the outside patio. They play old b&w movies on the screens. The bar is ample, including wine choices. I love the noir/gold color scheme and beautiful crystal glassware, and the chandeliers are a showstopper! Thoroughly enjoyable evening 🖤💛
ANtriX — Google review
I love coming here for an evening happy hour with $1 oysters, a good cocktail or a $5 beer. It has a very 1920’s or 30’s kind of vibe and on some evenings they have a good jazz band playing. Fantastic selection of whiskeys/bourbons (both US and Japan), and gin although you can get anything but these are their specialties. Fun outdoor sitting area too. Even the bathroom has a fun vibe lol. Sometimes it is packed with people and other times no one but don’t let that discourage you. Check it out for yourself.

EXQUISITE VIBES !! The service was attentive and had great drink recommendations, even willing to go off menu and suggest seasonal drinks. The food was great all around from roasted chicken to scallops and burgers. The wine list was especially French. Definitely going back for more.
Caroline P — Google review
I’m not sure what the best happy hour in Dallas is, but it’s not NOT this one. Bartender was great, martini was everything I wanted, oysters were a freaking dollar??? Knocked a star for atmosphere because it smells kind of ick in here, like a weird dirty drain smell.
Jordan H — Google review
This is a truly amazing bar with an incredible atmosphere. We are from Switzerland and we can assure everyone: you have to travel far to find such a jewel. The drinks are awesome, and there are some rare rums - and by chance we ran into a cigar night: the selection of Cuban cigars was awesome. We had a “35 Anniversary” Montecristo, to die for. Live Jazz music, lots of happy people, a great place.
Martin M — Google review
Amazing place! If Anna (the best bartender in the universe) isn’t too busy, ask her to surprise you with a drink of her choice. She’s basically the ChatGPT of cocktails—except her answers come in a glass. 10/10, would sip again!

Fantastic spot for cocktails and food in downtown Dallas. Service is great, as are the cocktails. It’s a nice fairly chill vibe normally, does not get crazy like some other bars in the area, and they often have live jazz music. They have $1 oyster happy hour Mondays and these oysters are delicious! Recommend the frog legs and beef tartare as well. Looking forward to trying additional menu options when I return!

Waterproof, located on the 19th floor of The Statler Hotel in downtown Dallas, offers a unique nightlife experience. By day, it's a fun pool bar with great views, and as evening falls, it transforms into a trendy rooftop destination with live entertainment and special events. The rooftop bar serves up signature cocktails, wine, beer, and bubbles alongside light bites.
Excellent vibes!! Late afternoon and sunny day were the perfect combination for a drink at the pool area. Great music and lots of young crowd.
Gio L — Google review
This is a really cool bar to hang out at during the day. What better way to stay cool in the summer heat than in a rooftop pool with a drink in hand. The food and drinks are great but there is very little free seating. Any seat with a table has some kind of minimum purchase, although you’ll probably meet that minimum just after your first drink (roughly $25/seat). While the lounge chairs are free with no minimum, there are only a few and even with the small amount of people when we were there, they were all taken. Most of them were taken by people in the pool that didn’t use them in the two hours we were there. I’d say if you don’t want a minimum charge for your seat be prepared to spend all of your time at the bar or in the pool. The servers definitely focused on those that payed a cover charge and rarely checked in with the rest of us. They were helpful when they checked in though. The bartenders are good and friendly as well. During the day the atmosphere was great and relaxing. I’d expect a much crazier vibe in the evening though as they have DJs and advertised parties regularly. Also, the pizza was amazing, highly recommend the BBQ chicken! If you’re looking for a relaxing pool with a bar during the day this is a great choice!
Marco D — Google review
I was incredibly disappointed with my experience here. There was a special event happening that we were never informed about, which completely disrupted the atmosphere. The venue was overcrowded, seating was crammed, and the music was deafening. On top of that, half-naked women and photographers were everywhere, making the whole experience feel weird and chaotic. My friend is extremely conservative and she was uncomfortable the entire time. They aggressively pushed the $50-per-table minimum, leaving us stuck ordering drinks we didn't even enjoy - they were just gross. I was presented with just the credit card receipt, no itemized receipt and they add 20% gratuity but there is no signage outside and of course we were not told verbally either. I did not double tip. To make matters worse, the views--which should have been a highlight--were obstructed and underwhelming. Out of the four rooftop spots I visited in Dallas, this was by far the worst. Instead of feeling upscale or luxurious, it came off as trashy.
Mandy M — Google review
Cute spot with nice views and a chill vibe — low-key music, not crowded, and good for relaxing. But the rooftop closed early on Thursday at 10 pm and they kicked us off, which really cut the night short. Overall, not worth the trip. I wouldn’t come back.

First time exploring Dallas and stumbled across the bar at Waterproof — what a great surprise! The bartender, Omar was super friendly, made amazing drinks, and had great recommendations. Such a fun atmosphere with a beautiful view — definitely coming back next time I’m in town!
Christine T — Google review
This place was just okay, I’ve been in the past and it was way better but this time they had a cover charge and then wouldn’t accept my passport as a form of ID. The people working were nice but u guess it’s the new policy or something. The drinks were more expensive than anticipated and I’m pretty sure they had an automatic tip added on. It was super hot inside and pretty dirty. The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting.
Gabbie T — Google review
The Negatives: the wait staff at Waterproof can be a bit slow, which occasionally led to delays in getting our drinks. Another aspect to consider is the pricing of the drinks. They tend to be on the higher end, which might not suit everyone's budget. One thing that struck me was the size of the cabanas. They were indeed smaller than expected, so if you're looking for ample space to relax with a larger group, you might need to adjust your expectations. The Positives: the views of downtown Dallas are truly stunning. Whether you're gazing at the skyline during the day or admiring the city lights at night, the panoramic vistas create a captivating backdrop for your afternoon getaway. I thoroughly enjoyed the music and vibe at Waterproof. If you're seeking a spot with a vibrant atmosphere, good music, and nice views, Waterproof is definitely worth a visit.

Las Almas Rotas is a trendy spot in South Dallas that focuses on tequila, mezcal, and Mexican bites. The bar hosts demos by independent mezcal and sotol producers, as well as barbecue pop-ups. During Happy Hour, guests can enjoy flavorful tiny tacos and crispy chicharrones with guacamole.
Nice mezcaleria located right across fair park. Drinks were very tasty and the ambiance was great. I went for their 8 year anniversary, and it was a great time. They had a live band in the backyard area. Will definitely be back.

Last month was my first time at Las Almas Rotas and it set a high standard. The young man bartending (Noel or Noah I believe) taught me so much about mezcal and other agave spirits. Armoury D.E. is a bar in Dallas's Deep Ellum District that offers a unique blend of Hungarian-inspired drinks and bar fare. The venue hosts free music performances, making it a popular spot for locals and visitors alike. With its old-fashioned vibe, brick walls, and an array of libations on display, Armoury D.E. exudes a mysterious charm that adds to its appeal.
Food: Very good. The grilled cheese was amazing. The octopus was cooked perfectly. Overall we were very happy, and considering the fare and quality, the prices were reasonable. Cocktails: Strong! That's always a huge plus. I think this is the kind of place where you need to order right/learn what's your jam. But I imagine some of the cocktails are amazing, would love to try more. Service: Good. Friendly. We were lucky to be here when they first opened for a Friday night, so it wasn't busy yet. Everything was reasonably prompt/well-timed. Vibe: Warm, chill, indoor and outdoor seating, cool bar. Would totally come here just for some dope cocktails if we hung out in this area more. Cool place.

Such a neat bar! Was looking for something without Deep Ellum vibes. Was about to leave the area when we stumbled upon this place on our way to the car. Loved the vibe and the Hungarian feel. But do wish they had late night bar snacks. Something like chips or nuts, anything to snack on. Please consider that!

This is a great Hungarian restaurant/bar that has a menu almost as interesting as its decor. The decor is very macabre and occult. The service was good, friendly, and informative. The flat bread and burgers were great. All the drinks we had were great.

Such a cool spot!!! We did not get food but sat at the bar and had drinks. It was a great atmosphere and had a really cool cocktail menu (which the prices on also couldn’t be beat). Would definitely come back if we are ever back in Dallas!
Annalie M — Google review
A standout establishment in the Deep Ellum bar district, while the clubs and street sounds are in full swing, you step into a gothic (almost medieval) themed bar that is unlike anything else in the area. There is a unique outdoor patio which hosts live music on occasion, and the drink menu is as unique as the place itself. The food is also Hungarian themed, with unusual creations as well as fun twists on regular fare. It was busy on a Friday night, and service was reasonable - certainly worth checking out, even if it your only stop in the Deep Ellum area.

Edit: Worst octopus I’ve ever had. Been coming here for years, telling everyone about how amazing it was. They got rid of it and finally brought it back, so we went. DISGUSTING. And also- only two now for $25?? Come on. We pulled a bunch of stringy stuff off of the two little arms and had an extremely hard time cutting them. When we were able to get the pieces cut we it took forever to chew the rubber band textured meat. The flavor was also gross. Extremely fishy. It was a COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT. I would have been happier eating McDonald’s. Thankfully we order the hot dog, which was lame too. The chips that came with it were the only thing worth eating. I drove almost an hour to specifically come here to have the octopus. GET IT TOGETHER or keep it gone. See old review below from a year ago. Been coming here for years and I guess this is it now. Best grilled octopus I’ve ever had. Their other food is really good too. The decor is really cool and it’s laid back. Live music some nights. A lot of unique drink options.
G D — Google review
Edit: Just went back and they hacked the menu up like crazy! Due to the economy they cut about 3/4ths of the menu. No more Spatzle or Brussel Sprouts. 😭😭😭 a lot of the drinks were cut too. Going to upload a photo of the new menu. Please bring back the spatzle and Brussel sprouts at LEAST! They were 10/10 food. I'm not a big bar person but this place was fantastic! It has great dark, goth architecture. The food and drink is very eastern European/Transylvania/Hungarian style. Most of the drinks have a horror theme to them. I tried two, "As above so below" and the "Call me Big Poppy." Both were fantastic. We had the fries, cheese spätzle and the Brussel sprouts. All of the food was good, but the Brussel sprouts were out of this world. They were so fantastic that I'm definitely coming back just for those alone. (And I want to try some of the other drinks). If you're looking for a spot in Deep Ellum where you can hear the people at your table, hold a conversation, have some great snacks and some interestingly creative cocktails, this place is perfection.

The menu, created by Executive Chef Ozzy Samano and Michelin-starred French chef Pascal Sanchez, features shareables, salads, flatbreads, chicken kebabs, kafta, burgers, and steak. In East Dallas on Gaston Ave., The Goat hosts experienced blues acts that showcase their talent regularly.
While visting for work I searched out “dive bars near me” and this place popped up in close proximity to where I was staying, drinks were quick to flow and definitely solid. Atmosphere was just what I needed to decompress and feel like a normal human again.thank you for being there when I needed you most, staff was hospitable and attentive but not overbearing, I think they picked up on how I had a rough day and instead of babying- me they knew that space and a stiff drink would have me right as rain in no time. They were right.

This place has some cool vibes and nice people but the brunch and cocktails were a let down. The pictures look so good but the food was lacking seasoning and cocktails were sickly sweet. I got the 'cool as a cucumber' and felt nauseous from how sweet it was. The server gave us some 1/2 coupons for next time because I didn't finish my meal or drink, which was nice but I don't think I'll visit again. Also the dress code isn't that serious, lots of casual outfits here.

Jose was awesome—funny, friendly, and super welcoming. He even brought us a menu with pictures, which helped a lot since the regular one was not detailed. He also went over the menu to make sure we picked items we had a taste for.( very patient) The margarita flights were SO good—$15 for 4 flavors with a nice presentation and just the right amount of alcohol. A must-try! The shrimp tempura tacos are my favorite—crispy, flavorful, and just delicious. Pricey at $12 for two, but worth it. Wings had great flavor (mango habanero) but were overcooked. The rooftop views and vibe are the real draw here. It’s more about drinks and atmosphere than a full meal. Great for pics, chill hangs, and cocktails. Parking: valet or nearby garage (both extra).

Absolutely love this place. Last night made the 3rd time I've gone. Each time, I've sat out on the patio. The view is so beautiful! It's such a vibe. The service is exceptional! Both the wait staff and the girls at the front were great! The lychee martinis are marvelous and so are the steamed dumplings. This is a great spot for girls night or date night. Thw spicy tuna tacos were bomb. It said seaweed shell so wasnt sure what to expect but it was just the seaweed paper. We got two and they were more appetizer size. Edamame came out fresh and hot. The fried dumplings had a good flavor- I believe their house sauce. Rooftop wasnt huge but we went early so there was hardly anyone there. Would like to go back in the evening.

This is such a cute restaurant! The restaurant was accommodating - we initially had reservations for a larger party, but it was less of us. It’s a little hard to find the location - but it’s right next to the beehive restaurant. We parked at the valet near the large eyeball. The Korean bbq was really good! The drinks were cool. We tried several appetizers - the chicken spring rolls were good. The calamari was a little rubbery. My wings were initially brought out and one was undercooked. They apologized and brought me new wings. There’s a 20% service charge added to parties larger than 5. If you have a party 5 or greater they will not split the check. Overall the restaurant was cool. I would come again for the Korean bbq.

Wings were awesome and the customer care was phenomenal, the bartender even came up to me at the table all the way in the back asking me if I wanted a refill on my Guinness. I’ll tell ya it was a pleasant experience. I felt very subdued from the dark environment while at the same time feeling like it was popping in there with everybody. Loved the old frank sinatra playing, reminded me of nyc but I knew I was in Texas! Felt I was cared for the whole time and the wings, THE WINGS WERE HOT & GREAT! Thanks for the celery, you know it’s a real one when they throw in the celery!!

Consistent rude service. Have been about 20 times and just had my last visit. All we wanted was to watch the Stars play and enjoy time with friends. Headed to cosmos from now on!

Last night I watched Zach go out of his way to verbally attack a very nice couple he'd never interacted with the entire night willy-nilly for absolutely no reason at all. It was shocking, disturbing, and frankly I don't feel safe here anymore. If this happened in any other industry Zach would be fired on the spot. I've been coming here for years. Will never go back to Lakewood Landing after this. Worst of all...the owner dismisses everything. See his comments below? Takes no responsibility for bartenders going out of their way to harass and aggressively confront new customers over 'a hunch.' There are reviews here going back almost a year showing a pattern of rude, confrontational and absurd behavior that is in no way expected at any bar let alone a dive bar. No excuses. Crap place. Any apologies from the owners online to any of the bizarre conduct online? Nope. He's very proud of being a total miscreant.

Gay night club
Bar
Dance hall
The Round-Up Saloon, located at 3912 Cedar Springs Rd., has been a popular spot for the gay cowboy community since 1980. The bar offers line-dance lessons, tequilas, and hosts special events. With its six themed bars and rooftop area, it's a great place to enjoy drinks and take in the lively atmosphere of Cedar Springs.
This visit took place several years ago, so I will preface my review with that. It was fairly busy on a Saturday night with most of the music being top 40 dance mixes/pop music, however, the last 30 to 45 minutes the saloon played country music to close the bar. The gays did a demographic shift with some fleeing the dance floor while others who were waiting the entire night in cowboy hats and well worn wranglers bum rushed dance floor. A salt and pepper haired gentleman by the name of Sam was nice enough to teach me how two step while he led through the crowd. Great introduction to Dallas, Texas.

I've been here numerous times in the past and never had any issues until this past Saturday evening 8/02/25. My friends and I headed over to the RoundUp around 9 PM to hang out a bit. It was early and not busy at all. The dance floor was completely empty. My friend & I mustered up the courage to get on the dance floor and have some fun. We weren't on the dance floor for even 5 minutes and soon thereafter other couples joined my friend & I on the dance floor. I was thankful for that because it takes a lot of courage to be the first on the dance floor. A few minutes into dancing, a staff member approached my friend & I and asked we get off the dance floor as we were not a couple and not "connected" stating we needed to respect the RoundUps culture. I've never, and I mean ever been asked to get off the dance floor at any bar or club. Now don't get me wrong, I know bars have theme nights, etc which I totally understand and respect. But the way the bar staff approached us was wrong. I was most upset about him telling us we needed to respect their culture. First of all honey, I'm gay and in a gay bar!! This IS MY PLACE! And secondly, there was absolutely NO SIGNAGE anywhere that indicated only a certain kind of dancing was allowed on the dance floor!! It was a terrible experience and put a very poor taste in my mouth! I never had an issue with RoundUp until that night!! Don't ever want to support them or be back!

Best gay country bar in Dallas. The drinks are good and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and professional.

Absolutely horrific and racist experience. I was denied entry after not having a single drink early in the night because I was straight. We asked whether a breathalyzer is possible and they said they don’t have one to prove that I was fully sober (I asked a few people) and just refused entry due to racist policies. Avoid this place and the dumb “bouncers” at all costs!!!! We should honestly go to the police on how we were treated!
K M — Google review
Round up used to be a very fun place for me, recently it has been very racist and prejudice against same sex couples. The manager Justin is so rude and mean. My friend was drunk and we understood and were trying to get him out of the club and even asked for help but he got in my face as a grown man, disrespected us and continued to call me an aggressive black woman when I asked for his help. The security Tim, was SO KIND and helped us get my friend out and that’s all we wanted. I’m displeased with roundup- it used to be so fun, by the manager Justin and other employees are so racist. I expected better.
Xyah R — Google review
Stephen at station 4 was very unprofessional and rude. A friend of mine ordered us Jell-O shots. As I was taking my shot I felt a hard poke in my mid back. I turn around to find out why I’m being poked in the back and he then asks me if I need anything. I responded with no I’m fine but you gave me ptsd because I’m a flight attendant and customers poke me all the time. He then proceeds to tell me that I should know better than to stand in front of the bar. So I tell him he is rude and he shouldn’t have been touching me with his dry beard. I ask for management because if I had touched him I would have been thrown out or I would have been arrested. He needs to go back to customer service training and he clearly doesn’t need to work there. I will never patronize this bar again. I will not give an establishment my money when they treat their patrons this way

Devan and Mayo are the two best bartenders in Dallas…..not even close. They have always made me and my group feel welcome and have never treated anyone like money making opportunities but like family
Jason S — Google review
Instead of fun. They charge a cover of $10 per person. You have several bars and environments. The dance floor is the best. The people who attend give me the impression of being very authentic, extroverted, sexy and spontaneous. Here you can get a guy named Patrick who walks in thongs and gives you an incredible massage. Go and have fun!

The Gallery Lounge is a retro-industrial rooftop bar located on the 6th floor of Canvas Hotel Dallas, offering stunning panoramic views of the city skyline. The lounge features an infinity pool, private cabanas, and fire pits, creating a vibrant and chic atmosphere for guests to enjoy art-inspired cocktails and shareable bites. While the rooftop infinity pool is primarily for hotel guests, the bar is open to everyone for sunset drinks or weekend nights out.
This place is absolutely amazing! Great part of town! Easy parking! And amazing views from the rooftop lounge! The drinks were delicious, the food was pristine! And the gentleman at the bar was absolutely professional, and very friendly! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Nice Relaxing Spot. Great View, nice ambiance. Food menu limited but good selection and not overl priced. For about 12 dollars in 2024 got Large Nachos, with lots of vegetables and meat, quite filling, beers about 5 to 7 dollars. There are many crummy common bars with same prices. This is a very clean place, with clean bathrooms, nice relaxed seating inside and in open air. Great at sunset and late night.
Aj K — Google review
The views were amazing, got here around 8 on a Saturday night and there were A LOT of seats open, as the night progressed it got very full. Get here early if you want a place to sit. There is an infinity pool but I believe it’s only until 6pm? Food was not great. Would come back for the drinks and views!

Beautiful view with a chill atmosphere. They had a DJ on the rooftop.

Take the elevator up to the sixth floor. Nice rooftop spot and a great view of the city. There is an infinity pool if that’s your thing. The Berry Rummy drink was too sweet for me. I like cocktails that are a bit more spirit forward. Overall, this is a good chill spot to hang. There weren’t any vegan options available other than fries and they were hot, crispy and good.
Fancy D — Google review
We stayed at the Canvas hotel, and went to the Gallery Lounge for dinner before going to the event we had planned for later. We enjoyed the atmosphere of the place. There are several cool pieces of art inside, but we decided to seat outdoors to enjoy the sunset by the rooftop pool. There was also a fire pit that was lit when started getting dark. We ordered lemon pepper chicken strips and a spinach and tomato flat bread. The food was ok. My fiancée ordered a margarita that was $19. We enjoyed our evening and didn’t really mind the overpriced drinks.
Nadja — Google review
This has always been one of my favorite places — the drinks are great, the views are gorgeous, parking is easy, and the overall vibe is always chill and inviting. It’s one of my go-to spots, which is exactly why I wanted to celebrate my birthday here and book a cabana. Unfortunately, the booking process is trash! No one ever answers the phone, the voicemail is always full, and emails go unanswered. There’s also no clear or easy way to book online, which makes the experience feel unnecessarily difficult. It’s disappointing when a spot you genuinely enjoy drops the ball on service when it counts the most.
Chrissy T — Google review
Great food and staff. The food was excellent and fairly priced. When you enter the Canvas Hotel, go to the elevator and choose sixth floor. There is seating inside and out but you don't want to miss sunset by the infinity pool. The pool closes at 9pm but the pool party doesn't stop. There was a dj that played great music for a mixed crowd representing many generations. Take a date here for a sunset drink and they will be impressed.

The Library is an elegant lounge and piano bar nestled within the Warwick Melrose Hotel, a historic Dallas landmark dating back to 1924. It's renowned for its classic cocktails, creative American menu, and cozy ambiance, making it an ideal spot for a romantic evening or gathering with friends. The suave drinking den hosts spectacular jazz performances six nights a week, adding to its allure.
The drinks were the star. Highly recommend quoth the raven or aviation. Very well balanced between the main spirit and subsequent flavors. The food was delicious too. Cozy interior with jazzy pianist and saxophonist. Sometimes the music was too loud, some times the room felt too silent so that's the only thing I'll say about ambience. Our bartender Michael was kind and very helpful. Our valet person Rafael was also kind and did a great job. Overall a great experience, highly recommend the drinks, will be back.

Saturday night live music with Aubree Anna is out of this world! She was able to take request and perform the complete spectrum of music, she is very talented. All of the drinks seem to be spot on. I suggest trying the Apple Martini.

Great hotel bar, dark and cozy. Friendly engaging staff, generous drinks, and better than expected Saturday night entertainment. It's worth a visit even if not staying at the hotel.

Parking is Valet only and they no longer validate it at the bar. It's 10 dollars. Food was good and the atmosphere was beautiful! The tables were candlelit. I felt a little underdressed. I was surprised that the waitress didn't card me though when I ordered wine because I had only turned 21 a few months earlier. The music was excellent, but stopped earlier than I expected.

I love this place! Great live piano performances in a beautiful, dimly-lit bar/lounge. The bartenders are awesome, and the food and cocktails are amazing.

Very small place and quaint place. They do not always have jazz music. Inside a hotel, so as the night progresses it can become overrun with hotel guests and get packed. Good drinks and service is as good as can be expected.

This place was located inside the Warwick Hotel in Dallas and was FABULOUS. The atmosphere was wonderful, adult, classy and warm. The waitress was attentive and the food choices and drinks were unexpectedly top notch. I had the club sandwich 🥪 and my cohorts had the sliders. It was HARD to figure out what to purchase because of so many options. I am glad we went to this facility.

Went on a Saturday night attracted by the live music, to find a singer that starts 30 minutes late because she needs to chitchat with everyone before the show, with an average voice that needs to be covered by very LOUD background sound music. Not sure why the manager doesn’t address the volume of the sound, this is mostly a 50+ years old bar/restaurant on an upscale area.

We had the pleasure of getting drinks at Bar Colette recently. We had a reservation and they were able to promptly get us seated. Service was friendly and the ambiance was one of my favorites in Dallas. The bar is well designed and the layout/furnityre was well thought out. There is great attention to detail in all that they do. We got the El Puro (similar to Old Fashioned) and Mr. Miyagi (rum based drink with raspberry) and thought both drinks were excellent. Although the drinks are expensive, the atmosphere and quality provided have made it one of my top places in Dallas to get drinks.

Came with a friend for after dinner drinks and chill. This spot was decorated nicely and situated in an lively area. Upon sitting, we were given the drink menu and colors to decorate to our hearts desire (cmon inner child!). I decided to go with the Pearadise and I greatly enjoy this drink - especially the peanut brittle on top. The kitchen closed at 945PM so we wasn’t able to see their food options but was told they’ve shifted to sushi options. I would definitely return as the vibes and service were great!
Ashley S — Google review
I’m a huge cocktail snob. I look for cocktails that are unique- something that I’ve never tasted before. That’s hard to find! But after a long hard day of work, I came to this bar to try it out. I had the Mr Myagi and I LOVED IT! super unique, great flavours contrasting each other, and I loved the glass it came in (long, thin stem. I hate thick stems!) it’s pricey though. I’m willing to pay lots once in a while for a really great unique cocktail so if you’re okay with that, this is the place! I had some nigiri which wasn’t mind blowing - probably better off at an actual sushi place, but overall this is definitely the place to grab a drink
Ayesha P — Google review
Good sushi, decent drinks (hopefully they add more speciality cocktails to the menu, since it’s main focus is the bar)
B ( — Google review
We tried visiting Bar Colette two nights in a row, and both experiences were disappointing. The first night, the staff were noticeably rude and dismissive when informing us the bar was closed for a private event—no apology or courtesy, just a quick brush-off. We decided to give it another chance the next evening, arriving around 9 p.m., when two bar stools were open. However, we were told they were “reserved” and couldn’t be seated. We waited 15 minutes, and those same seats remained empty. I understand honoring reservations, but it’s disheartening when a place prioritizes hypothetical guests over paying customers who are present and ready to enjoy the evening. Between the lack of professionalism the first night and the poor hospitality the second, it’s clear this bar values exclusivity over genuine service. We chose to take our business elsewhere—where guests are actually welcomed.

Speakeasy inside a restaurant with an intimate atmosphere. Cool presentation of drinks. The cocktail menu is a bit limited because of the Branca focus. And unfortunately no bar seating - only tables. However, still a nice speakeasy worth checking out!

James was amazing. Bohemian Grove drink was amazing. I tried 3 drinks and the other two were not top notch. The vibe is great and it’s a cozy speakeasy. Will go back again for sure. It is located on the backside of the Chimichuri Restaurant. You can enter through the restaurant as well. The entrance is opposite to the restrooms.

I can't say enough good things about this place. There are several speakeasies in Dallas, but this is so intimate and the concept is so cool, I think it's my favorite. You owe it to yourself try one of the Amaro flights and educate yourself a bit about the spirit. You can tell the owner truly has a passion for it. Awesome place and Alexa was so sweet and welcoming! Had the nachos, they had good flavors and a plentiful amount. The shots came in a bottle which I thought was a bit odd. Also, the is a significant difference in drink quantity, $9 gets you a small drink, and $20 gets you a souvenir boot and a whole lot more drink volume. Not a fan of the online ordering and table delivery. The band played excellent music. Not sure I got bang for the buck but overall, it was a good experience.

Stopped by here on a recommendation from hotel staff near by- it was very lively on a Thursday evening but also big enough location that we were able to be seated in the back since we had small kids with us. We got the appetizer sampler which was good. The taquitos & quesadilla was really good. The chips & salsa were really good as well. Shrimp tacos are a must! I didn’t catch the server or managers name but they both were phenomenal! Coming from the restaurant industry- they were prime example of good service! Oh and the margaritas were amazing as well!

Vidorra in Dallas, Deep Ellum location did not disappoint! As soon as I walked in I was greeted with big smiles by the host and the manager, I believe his name was Jose. Since I was by myself I just asked to sit at the bar. Not only my bartender but my server Stephanie was very helpful with the menu. She recommended the sirloin burrito. The steak in the burrito was juicy tender and delicious! Generous amount of food and an endless chips and salsa. Stephanie also recommended the churros for desert and that was a great choice. Not to soft, a little bit of a crunch completed with vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup and strawberries. It was perfect! I loved that I always had a full glass of ice cold water for the my thirst. Very attentive! Even as I paid my bill and left I was greeted out with all smiles by all the staff. When it comes to Hospitality I’d say the managers/trainers are teaching well. I went to listen to live music. It was okay. You have to go to the bar to order because no one will come to your table. The lady who takes the orders touches your credit card, things to make the drinks, and your unwrapped straw without washing her hands. My food was delivered without utensils to eat. I do feel their drinks and food are overpriced, but I'll probably go again for the vibe and music.
Santonika S — Google review
Went primarily for the live music. We arrived early to ensure we got a good table. The show was scheduled to start at 8p, but started 40-minutes late. The music was well worth the wait. We saw Marcus Parks and Friends. Great energy! Our waiter Jacob was wonderful. Food could be better. Definitely not a place for dinner, just music and drinks. There were 3 people in my group and we spent $190 plus $30 tip. I never got a receipt although I did ask. After going over what we purchased the tab sounded correct except that they never did apply the 25% discount they claim for happy hour. We ordered popcorn chicken, wings, cheese fries, hummus, butler flatbread, 2 dbl glenfiddich, and 9-11 Craft beers. We found street parking, which was by mere luck. The place is a busy area so I’d recommend ubering. Lots of cool shops nearby.

Nice place Nice vibe Good music Some food options (A bit under seasoned, so if you like your food flavorful, ask for some additional spices and condiments/dressing) They also have a patio sitting outside. Busy street, they have a few parking lots nearby where one can park
V J — Google review
I didn't order food. I didn't get anything to drink. I was walking by with my husband and some friends. We had already eaten dinner at Veracruz. The thing that drew us in was the music. They has this funk band playing. And me, I have my camera. This place provided the ambience for some of my favorite images I've taken all year. I'm including the the photo in color. The couple dancing...I have an interview of them on my YT coming soon.
Linda G — Google review
Don't usually write reviews but my wife and I had so much fun here. Good drinks/bartenders, my wife can usually only handle one drink but she really liked their margarita & had 3. My Cuba libres were good too. The live music was awesome, I don't have much experience with jazz but the band that was there was sooooo good Marcus Parks. The atmosphere felt kind of throw back, hardly anyone was looking at their phones, only to take videos. Most people seemed really engaged with the band and enjoying the moment which was so refreshing to see. My wife and I just stumbled across this place and want to make this place a stop everytime we're in Dallas.

Bourbon & Banter is a stylish and swanky cocktail den located inside The Statler hotel in downtown Dallas. It offers a creative selection of cocktails, including low-alcohol options for those looking to enjoy a night out without getting too tipsy. The lounge boasts a top-notch bourbon collection and provides a moody atmosphere with dim lighting, plush seating, and vintage decor that exudes nostalgic charm.
I thought the phone booth entrance was super cool. Love the speakeasy vibe. Drinks were great. Jordan our bartender made great recommendations and the old fashioned I had was perfect.
Joyce H — Google review
I really wanted to love this place, but it fell short. The bathrooms were filthy, no one came by to take our drink order, and the cocktails were $20 each. I don’t mind paying a premium for drinks, but I expect that to come with good service and a clean, inviting atmosphere. After waiting 10 minutes with no server in sight, we finally had to get up and order at the bar ourselves. Unfortunately, the experience started awkwardly. While we were trying to enjoy the fun of entering through the phone booth, some guys loudly harassed us, yelling in my ear and ruining the vibe from the start. On top of that, the decor felt tired and dirty, with mismatched lighting—some bulbs were cold and harsh, while others were appropriately warm. Not to mention the valet was $25. They couldn't find a driver who could drive shift stick and arrived after 15 minutes of waiting, grinding the gears on our car. 🤦‍♀️ Maybe we’ll give it another shot in a few years if they refresh the space and improve the service to match the high price tag.
Jessica K — Google review
Dark speakeasy with expensive drinks. We ordered the charcuterie and took what was left back to our hotel room. In the light we noticed mold and bugs on the food.
John P — Google review
Looking for a speakeasy in the Dallas area? Try this cute little place located in the basement of the Statler Hotel. No secret code, just pick up the pay phone. Nice, dark and perfect for a date night. I ended up going with a girlfriend of mine and we had some fellas meet us there. Upside: super cute venue that sends you back. Great bar staff. Downside: valet cost, no live music
Ms.B — Google review
This is a neat bar with speakeasy decor but the atmosphere was not quite right. The secret entrance, low lightning, and employee’s attire all fit the speakeasy vibes perfectly, but there was loud music that didn’t match the speakeasy atmosphere. The style and volume of music made it difficult to enjoy the otherwise relaxing environment. The service was good once you go to the bar to get their attention. The bartenders are good and knowledgeable. I would say the drinks are slightly overpriced but it’s not outrageous for the setting. I would recommend trying Bourbon and Banter but don’t expect it to be overly relaxing. If you have reasonable expectations it will be very enjoyable.
Marco D — Google review
One of the coolest place to enter. Other than expensive drinks, ok service.
Vamshi K — Google review
I'm always up for a good speakeasy. The ambience definitely impresses. However, it should be noted that the cocktails are expensive, even by Dallas standards. They are creative, but some of my friends didn't think the drinks were worth the cost. To each their own. That is for you to decide. I enjoyed my time there. However, just know you're paying for the setting.
Kaitlin B — Google review
A cute speakeasy located in the Statler hotel downtown. Bourbon & Banter, as its title states, is a bourbon cocktail bar. This also means they have a limited food menu. However, I did order the brussel sprouts and they were delicious - cooked to perfection and the vinaigrette was the best. I also ordered a drink, “The Lover Boy”. It was smooth and aesthetically pleasing. The bar itself is small, but has ample seating. It’s very dark as well. It gives a mysterious yet classy vibe. I would definitely recommend for a date night or just a moment to unwind after work (which is why I was there). For both items, my drink and brussel sprouts, I spent about $29.

Single Wide is a cozy bar located on Greenville Avenue in Dallas, offering a unique trailer park aesthetic and an undying spirit despite the changes in Lowest Greenville. The bar has expanded its outdoor area to include a fenced-off parkette. It's known for its eclectic range of tunes spun by visiting DJs and extremely generous happy hour from 4pm to 9pm.
What a place! If you are in the mood for great drinks, chill atmosphere, and legit retro vibes, Single Wide is everything you need. Very friendly bartenders, awesome decor and music. The drinks are appropriately whimsical yet solid. Love the shot and beer selection too. Great spot late night as well as starting off your evening.
John C — Google review
Horrible experience. Bartenders lacked experience. Incredibly rushed. I said I was looking at the peach pounder drink and then decided to get a hurritang. They got me both and I said that I didnt get the peach pounder. So instead of just taking back the peach pounder they proceeded to take both drinks back and kicked us out. Then security was called and he defended without knowing the full story. Horrible experience. Dont go here.
Paul W — Google review
The front door man with a long hair, beard, and glasses was extremely rude and unprofessional. We got physical pushed out of the bar, even though we were respectful and we were just inside to avoid the rain. Not worth the effort going in for a drink.
Emiliano L — Google review
👎🏾🚩This is a weird place. I stop by outta no where to just get a drink late night, bartender gave off strong racist vibes. I was relaxed & remained during the drink experience. About 10 ppl hanging out in the gatherings & sure made a black man feel like the movie in GET OUT. Had a girl to test my energy on basic social talk & she knew by long shot she was in the presence of a chosen. I can feel racism in any room & any person, I will never go back to this spot & don't recommend it for any black person, go inside at your own risk & that's keeping it real. 🫴🏾It's weird at this spot 🚩 DON'T GO 🫰🏾🤝🏾🛑🚷 By the way the drink good at the least (shot of whiskey)

No food, but Yoo-hoo YeeHaw is AWESOME!!! It’s White Russian meets white trash!!! Or an adult frosty; super yummy! HH is crazy cheap!!! Music varies tremendously; sometimes fun stuff I know, usually deep cuts I don’t recognize. Dog friendly! Bar usually has a few pooches hanging out.

fun spot and cheap drinks. kind of a weird smell in the back that made my eyes sting, but couldn’t tell if that was a patron or the location. would definitely come again

So I have been here like 7 times in 3 weeks! Only place which is open until AM hours! Do not forget to try YOOHOO YEEHAW their signature cocktail! I usually have one of those and one old timer (old fashioned) with no sugar and less ice! Servers are good and would make whatever you want them to! There is a screen for video games at the bar and play the nude pics game finding differences in 2 pics! Good experience everytime!

Upside West Village sits atop the Dallas Canopy Hilton property and offers incredible views of the cityscape and local restaurants in Uptown Dallas. The restaurant is trendy, chic, and popular with locals and visitors alike for its delicious food and lively atmosphere.
My first visit here was amazing! Great views of the city, good music, food was delicious, all around good vibes! Our waitress was very attentive and felt like a bestie, she recommended all great things. 10/10 recommend coming for an evening date night or girls night out.
N. S — Google review
Upside West Village offers stunning views and a great selection of drinks, making it a solid spot for a night out. The food is good, though only available as shareable plates, so keep that in mind if you’re looking for a full meal. However, getting in can be a bit of a hassle. The rooftop sign is hard to spot, and even once you find it, the door is locked—forcing you to go through the hotel entrance instead. Once at the rooftop, there’s no clear host to greet or seat you, which can make the arrival experience feel unorganized. Service at the bar was slow initially, as the bartenders seemed more engaged in their own conversations. That said, once we were seated, the hostess was attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it’s a great place for drinks and ambiance, but the entry process and initial service could be improved.
Shiju Y — Google review
Went here with a couple of friends to enjoy a beer after work. It's a nice rooftop place with very nice views and a cozy atmosphere. Service could've been better as there were few people, but we had to go to the counter to order. We had better attention downstairs before the rooftop opened. They have a good selection of beers and appetizers
Favo N — Google review
We’ve visited Upside West Village a few times now, and it’s always such a great time—especially when the weather is nice! It truly offers one of the best rooftop views of Dallas, making it a go-to spot when you want to soak in the city skyline. On our most recent visit, it was noticeably busier than usual due to the cheerleading competitions happening in town that weekend, so there were quite a few teens around, which made the atmosphere a bit more lively (and a little chaotic at moments). Despite the crowd, our server was friendly and attentive, handling the busy vibe really well. I wish I remembered her name because she did a great job keeping up with everyone. I was there celebrating with a group of friends, and everyone enjoyed their drinks. My husband and I ordered the meat and cheese board to share, which was a nice pairing with our cocktails, and we finished it off with a chocolate cake dessert to celebrate my birthday. Overall, even with the larger crowd, the experience was solid. Upside West Village continues to be a favorite for its stunning views, relaxed atmosphere, and consistently good service. We’ll definitely be back again soon!

Super fun vibe with great views and a gorgeous sunset! Drinks were pretty good; food was okay - they only offer appetizer-type foods, so we weren’t still a little hungry when we left (we ordered one app per person and shared everything). We found a free place to park in the street just around the corner. Enter thru the hotel lobby and take a quick left to an elevator in the hallway. Seating was comfy, and though it was warm out, they had misters that kept the temp cool. When we arrived at 8 pm, there were no outdoor tables available, so we stood around taking pictures until a group left and then we snatched up their table (maybe 20 minutes). Servers were very good - I only noticed two serving the patio, and our server was very attentive and responsive. Great Dallas experience!

Beautiful rooftop views of downtown Dallas! The service was great friendly staff and we even got a complimentary shot for the wait, which was much appreciated. The appetizers were tasty, the flatbreads were delicious, and the shrimp with polenta was amazing. Will definitely be back!
Felipe A — Google review
This rooftop bar is a gem! The ambiance is unbeatable—you get an amazing view of the city skyline, and at night the lights make it absolutely magical. The service was just as impressive. The baristas were so friendly and welcoming, and the drinks were delicious—perfectly made and worth savoring while taking in the view. It’s the kind of spot that’s perfect for a night out with friends, a date, or just unwinding above the city. Highly recommend!
TRACEY T — Google review
We visited the rooftop for sunset drinks, and it did not disappoint. The view of Dallas absolutely lives up to the hype! The drinks were fantastic, and the service was excellent. A must-visit spot for a great atmosphere and stunning skyline views.
