MidTown Hotel & Suites in Beirut is a top-notch hotel located in the heart of the city, making it convenient for travelers. The hotel offers relaxed suites with amenities such as a rooftop pool and two eateries, along with complimentary breakfast. Guests can enjoy comfortable and quiet rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and a great restaurant within budget. The neighborhood is mostly quiet, providing a peaceful atmosphere for guests to relax.
Great hotel for the value. Super kind staff, especially Youssuf. I hope to come back to Beirut soon!

absolutely terrible hotel. the wifi doesn’t work, the rooms are all open on each other and you will not sleep from the noise of the other rooms, the staff are incredibly rude and mean. not only that but we had no access to the amenities, the pool was closed and the gym was too. there was nothing nice about this hotel
Cypher S — Google review
It's a good place to stay in but not more than 10 days the staff is good and always smiling and ready to help you but they have one problem it's about our breakfast I'm here from 15 day but untill now they didn't send me any breakfast knowing that my reservation includes breakfast
احمد ا — Google review
It's is, the most beautiful hotel I ever met 😍 super super luxury ✨️
Aboudi B — Google review
The staff was friendly and helpful, the location is good and near to Spinneys and many bakeries, and the area is quite at night. You can reach the Rawsheh rock by a 15 minutes walk from it. But you have to know that the breakfast was in a nearby hotel ( a couple of minutes by foot) and it was not that big problem.
Ahmad G — Google review
Don't let the bad reviews fool you. This hotel was top-notch. Electricity and warm water 24/7. Rooms get cleaned and aired daily. They also change towels and bring bottled water every day! My room was super comfy and had a nice balcony. The neighborhood was mostly quiet, but when you close the window you get completely isolated from the outside world. The only downside was the inconsistent internet connection.
Petar M — Google review
Great service and classy style. Very comfortable.

Good hotel, the staff are professional and very kind, service 5/5. Location 5/5 Cleanness: 5/5 The bed mattress 1/5 old Room 2/5 because I had a connected room door, the next room guests were screaming until 4am. I had just a bad luck. Wifi 5/5 The shower hot water was red /orange for like 30 mins. The water tank I guess was rusty. Price 5/5 Overall very 👍

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and elegant. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, beautifully plated, and full of flavor. A very special thank you to Mr. Allam Sleim, the restaurant manager, for his kind hospitality and for making sure every guest feels special. His attention to detail and professionalism truly stand out. I also want to express my appreciation to Ms. Nour, who was simply amazing. She served us with such warmth, patience, and care — she made the evening even more enjoyable. It’s rare to find a place that combines great food, lovely ambiance, and a genuinely caring team. This one definitely does. Highly recommended! Mrs. Nivin Ali Dr. Aly El Dakroury's wife

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an excellent dining experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of authentic flavor. What truly made the visit outstanding was the professionalism and warm hospitality of the team. A special thank you to Mr. Allam Sleim, the restaurant manager, for his personal attention and genuine care for every guest. His leadership clearly reflects in the way the entire team operates—with passion, precision, and a welcoming attitude. I also want to highlight Ms. Nour, who provided exceptional service throughout our visit. She was attentive, polite, and made sure every detail was perfect. Overall, this restaurant combines great food with an outstanding team that truly knows how to make guests feel valued. Highly recommended. Dr. Aly El Dakroury

I was planning to book a stay at the InterContinental Phoenicia Beirut for two guests, but I was surprised to see an additional *“extra person charge”* of 135 USD added to the total. When I contacted the hotel via live chat, I was informed that this is part of the hotel’s policy and cannot be adjusted. This is quite disappointing, as the booking was clearly for **two guests** in **one room**, and such an extra charge doesn’t make sense in this case. It gives the impression of an unfair pricing policy, especially for a hotel of this standard. I truly hope management reviews this policy to ensure a more transparent and reasonable booking experience for future guests.

We truly enjoyed our stay everyone was so welcoming and supportive. The location is amazing. We will definitely consider and recommend the hotel later on again. Everything is supper clean, organized and well managed. Thank you for making our Wedding day amazing and memorable

An absolutely wonderful stay! The hotel offers stunning views, spacious rooms with full amenities, and a truly welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast was a highlight, thanks to the excellent service by Mr. Allam Slim and his team—especially Nour. This was my second visit, and I’ll definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended!
Nour D — Google review
Loved every moment of my stay! The views are amazing, rooms are big, well-equipped, and super comfortable. Huge thanks to Mr. Allam Slim and his team—Nour in particular—for the fantastic breakfast service. This was my second time staying at the hotel and I’ll happily return again. A truly exquisite experience!
Nada E — Google review
Hotel is centrally located. Wonderful views. Rooms do leave a bit to be desired though. The are a bit dated and in need of renovation. The food and service is excellent. Allam the Mosaic restaurant manager is exceptionally welcoming, friendly and very efficient. He goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is satisfied. Bravo Allam.

ad a fantastic stay at the Phoenicia Hotel. The service was excellent from start to finish, with staff who were attentive, professional, and always welcoming. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained, and the facilities made the whole experience relaxing and enjoyable. It was a seamless stay that I would happily recommend to anyone visiting Beirut. Truly a hotel that reflects the high standards of InterContinental.

Albergo is a grand all-suite hotel located in the Achrafieh neighborhood of Beirut. Housed in a 1930s mansion, this luxurious hotel is part of the prestigious Relais and Chateaux series. The ochre-colored ancient villa with a large gilded cast iron gate draped in greenery sets the scene for an elegant stay. The hotel's interior combines French glamour with unique Lebanese touches, creating a characterful and romantic ambiance.
Albergo Hotel in Beirut is a true gem—luxurious, elegant, and full of charm. The rooms are beautifully designed with a blend of classic and oriental styles. Service is top-notch, and the rooftop pool and restaurant offer stunning city views. A perfect spot for a refined, relaxing stay in the heart of the city.

The greatest hotel in Beirut, no doubt. In terms of the spaces, from the patio area down to the swim club at the top, it is the pinnacle of service, great food, and amazing scenery. The rooftop terrace during sunset is a gem one must see in Beirut. Absolutely beautiful.
Chris T — Google review
Tried the rooftop! Lovely view of Beirut city specially during sunset hours. The food and drinks are good but expensive. Service is great.
Zeina Z — Google review
There are no words to describe this masterpiece of hospitality. Style, history, esthetics, amazing gastronomy, outstanding service, elegance... After visiting over 100 countries and stayed in best of hotels, Albergo ranks among the best if not the best. Discreet luxury with quality and class. I just love it. I love the professionalism and quality of staff... Rooftop terrace is just a mixture of beauty, coziness and urban nature. Beirut at its best. Food!!!! Outstanding from breakfast to dinner. Thank you for this amazing experience. I am going to be back again for sure.
Antonio C — Google review
Top notch service and property, with the warmest staff you can encounter. Well done to Albergo team and big shout out to the kind ladies at reception (Celine and Ruwa).
Khaled — Google review
Came to the lobby for breakfast .. very nice and aesthetic the breakfast layout as well as the outdoor lobby. Food is overpriced but overall we enjoyed.. we ordered waffles, pancake , croissants , labne and toast with avocado with 3 coffees total was 150$ a bit overpriced for breakfast
Kawthar H — Google review
We were really looking forward to dining here, but the experience was a major letdown. When we made the reservation, no one mentioned that there were separate indoor and outdoor dining areas. Had we known, we would have clearly chosen outdoor. Instead, we were seated indoors — and it was absolutely not what we expected. The indoor section felt more like a cheap café trottoir in Paris — and not in a charming way. The space was cramped, uninviting, and uncomfortably close to the kitchen, which completely ruined the ambiance. It felt more like an afterthought than a proper dining area. To make matters worse, the chairs were basic café-style seating, uncomfortable and flimsy. The table was so small we couldn’t even fit two dishes at once without juggling plates and glasses. For a restaurant that promotes itself on atmosphere and quality, this felt careless and disappointing
Malek N — Google review
An authentic experience. Excellent in every way. Even if you don’t plan to spend the night don’t forget to try out their courtyard (for daytime lunch and coffee) and rooftop (for a bite and drink).

Coral Beach Hotel & Resort Beirut is a charming property offering 97 comfortable rooms and a range of amenities. It features a health club, heated swimming pool, wellness area with plunge pool and hot tub, sauna facilities, conference space, and meeting rooms for business travelers. Situated in a prime location near Ramlet al-Baida Beach and popular attractions like The One and National Museum of Beirut, this hotel provides easy access to the city center.
Considering this was my first ever proper trip to Beirut, I can say that I enjoyed my stay here a lot. The staff served me well, and the location was simply stunning as the beach view was great from the room I was in, I consider this a great experience that I definitely will repeat.
Emulator T — Google review
I stayed at Coral Beach Resort in Beirut, Lebanon, this past summer, and I must say, I’m puzzled as to how this place is considered a five-star resort. In my opinion, it’s more of a three-star experience. While the staff were generally friendly and welcoming, the overall quality of the resort left much to be desired. The rooms were extremely outdated, and the bathroom design was problematic. Every shower led to water flooding the floor. The swimming pool was decent, but I was deeply disturbed by the resort’s discriminatory policy against modest women. It’s appalling that head-covered women are not allowed to swim in the pools, regardless of whether they are paying guests. This discriminatory practice, under the guise of maintaining "prestige," was honestly disgusting and unacceptable. As for the breakfast, it was another disappointment. The selection and quality were poor, definitely not what you’d expect from a five-star establishment. While the staff’s friendliness was a highlight, it doesn’t compensate for the outdated facilities, poor food, and discriminatory policies. I certainly wouldn’t consider this a five-star resort.
Farrah B — Google review
The customer service is extremely great from Top to bottom, Even the service is awesome. The only thing the entire hotel need to be maintained well. The parking is not free 10 Dollars a day

Worst service ever. 8 days of complaining about cleaning . There was dirt in the room and they didn’t clean it at all , getting towels and shampoo is a hard challenge . And if you order a fork to the room . It might take at least 40 min You starve till your get your order to the . And after complaining many times. Still they did nothing. They just say sorry without doing any effort to fix their service . It was one of my worst stays ever . Never again . Very disappointing But to be fair the girls on the front desk are very nice and helpful especially Reva and sawsan .

Le Gray, Beirut is a luxurious and upscale hotel that has recently reopened after undergoing renovations following the 2020 Beirut explosion. The hotel offers 87 modern rooms filled with natural light and equipped with amenities such as LCD TVs, Wi-Fi, fresh fruit, and flowers. Guests can enjoy the rooftop terrace with an infinity pool overlooking the city, as well as a spa, bar, and restaurant.
Been here several times over the past decade and they have kept up the level of service and hotel. The food is very good, and the staff are excellent as usual. Perfectly located from Aswaq Beirut and restaurants in the other direction. Most of everything is walking distance from the hotel and easy to head in one direction or the other. I can't recommend the Spa enough, it is wonderful and very relaxing after a long day or the best way to start off the morning.
Marzouq A — Google review
The indoor views are just acceptable, and the view from inside leads to the old agriculture for downtown, I liked it but it depends on people’s taste. Great place though.
Mohamad — Google review
Possibly THE best hotel in Lebanon. Excellent staff, incredible service , spacious rooms. Don't believe it's expensive considering you're staying at a hotel that leagues above the others. Centrally located in downtown Beirut. Walking distance to many restaurants in downtown. Highly recommended
Samer S — Google review
Wonderful hotel, close to the sites and attentive to family needs. My wife and I along with our 12/13 year old children travelled to Beirut earlier this month and stayed at Le Gray for two nights. For a family on holiday in Lebanon, the Le Gray helped make us not only comfortable, but allowed us the rest needed to properly explore the wonderful city from a great location. The staff was very accommodating and the breakfast buffet was very memorable. The rooms are extremely clean and the facilities lacking nothing. The view from the Corner Suite was simply amazing!
JBart592 — Google review
I stayed for 1 night at this place for a business trip but I would definitely come back again for a leisure trip. It is a new hotel so everything in it is in tact; rooms are spacious and equipped with all you need and the staff are professional and very helpful. I didn't get the chance to try the swimming pool on the rooftop which has an amazing view of the city. I enjoyed the coffee machine in the room with the fresh coffee grinder and the breakfast at the roof top
Soltan H — Google review
Stayed here for few days while I was in town for a wedding. The hotel breakfast was great, the roof top was nice but could be bigger. The hotel felt spacious, but that might be because all the rooms weren't taken. The only issue I had was the noise in the room. I could hear everything from the roof due to being on the 5th floor, and I did hear noise from the rooms around me as well.
Tamim K — Google review
Le Gray is in the heart of downtown with everything you’ll need within a 15-minute walk. If you’re an art lover, this place is a must visit. Felt like I was living in an Art Gallery, and they change the paintings frequently to give the space a new feel. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-designed. The staff is friendly and the breakfast is delicious.
Digant K — Google review
It was the first time for my husband and I at Le Grey Hotel and it will definitely not be our last!! We truly enjoyed our dinner at the Indigo. The food was spectacular and the view was breathtaking. Also, the front desk team was very nice to us, especially Hassan; he was wonderful and is a great asset for the hotel.. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Beirut!!!

The Mayflower Hotel, located in the vibrant Hamra district of Beirut, offers comfortable rooms and a range of amenities. Guests can enjoy British meals at the traditional pub, relax by the rooftop pool, or unwind in the inviting bar. The hotel is conveniently situated within walking distance of popular attractions such as Raouche Rocks and the National Museum of Beirut. With free private parking and a golf course available, this 4-star hotel provides a charming setting for travelers.
I stayed at the Mayflower in the last few summers when I visited Lebanon. The hotel staff are always nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and have all amenities you will need. The hotel is near many shopping and dinning places. I love this place and I'll consider staying there again. I recommend it for those who want to have a clean and reasonably priced place to stay when visiting Beirut.

Upon arrival, reception was empty. Waited for 20 minutes, a female employee came but stayed on her phone then left. We waited another 15 minutes for another employee to come. Were given a small room on 1st floor with old furniture and broken table and TV. Exactly near service section. Where door was always open bringing hot air and massive machinery noises. Workers going in and out constantly, talking, yelling. Was very noisy. Bathroom flush broke a couple of times. Floor was flooded overnight but female receptionist kept ignoring us, answered but didnt follow up the problem. We had to call a housekeeper to fix it. We called the tourism police department and informed them about all details, they said they made a note and will follow up complaints. Manager only sent reassuring msg on whatsapp but failed to follow with actual actions. At night reception was strangely abandoned completely while dangerously looking thugs with beer and alcohol standing outside and entering in. Which is very inconvenient for families staying in hotel. The room was supposed to be non smoking… but it smelled very bad with lots of cigarettes and there was also a cigarette in the toilet… My clothes smelled like cigarettes for the remainder of the trip after only one night. Would never book again.

The Mayflower Hotel, an iconic establishment in the heart of Washington, D.C., is a perfect blend of historical elegance and modern luxury. From the moment you step into its grand lobby, you are transported to a bygone era of classic charm. The hotel, often referred to as "The Grande Dame of Washington," has hosted presidents, diplomats, and celebrities over the years, and it’s easy to see why. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and meticulously maintained. My stay was in a deluxe king room, which offered plush bedding, a comfortable sitting area, and modern amenities like a large flat-screen TV and high-speed Wi-Fi. The marble bathrooms were particularly impressive, stocked with high-end toiletries. The hotel pays attention to detail, ensuring that guests feel pampered during their stay. One of the highlights is the hotel’s dining options. Edgar Bar & Kitchen offers a delightful menu, blending American classics with contemporary flavors. The ambiance is perfect for a quiet dinner or a lively evening out with friends. Additionally, the hotel's afternoon tea service in the lobby is a must-try, offering an elegant and relaxing experience. The staff at The Mayflower Hotel are courteous and professional, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. Whether it’s arranging transportation, providing local recommendations, or addressing specific needs, they do so with warmth and efficiency. The hotel’s location is unbeatable. Situated near the White House, National Mall, and numerous museums, it’s an ideal base for exploring the city. In summary, The Mayflower Hotel offers a luxurious and memorable experience, combining historic grandeur with modern comfort. Whether visiting for business or pleasure, it’s a top choice for anyone looking to stay in D.C.

It's well priced, but the room was a bit gross, I paid a bit extra for the breakfast that was included, had the english breakfast the first day as it was recommended by the staff, but the breakfast was aweful to the point I didn't eat there again the following days, still not a bad experience considering the price, the best thing about the hotel is arguably the aesthetic and all the beautiful paintings hanging around

Sky Suites boasts exceptional rooms that are not only comfortable and impeccably clean but also complemented by top-notch service. Its prime location, conveniently close to everything, adds to the overall appeal of this outstanding hotel.

Modern hotel tucked in the heart of Bliss Street. The rooms had a modern feel with plenty of amenities. I definitely enjoyed the cleanliness of the room. Small pool on top of the hotel provides an escape to enjoy the sun. There is also parking available underground.

One of the very few pet-friendly hotels in Beirut. The suites are large and comfortable, although they do not have non-smoking rooms so the rooms do smell slightly of cigarettes. The mattress was very hard and the mattress sheet was sitting directly on top of the waterproof sheet, so the mattress doesn't breathe at all and we both sweated a lot during the night.

I have booked a 2 bedroom master suite on top floor. Good things first; the view is very nice and apartment is suitable for small family. The location is quiet and a few minutes walk from university, food and shopping area. Coming to bad things; the breakfast is not at all good. Very few items on the table and on top of that the food isn't at all fresh. Despite of complain, I do not find fresh food. The towels are very old and torn at edges (needs to be replaced with new ones).

I stayed in Sky suites for 12 days in July in a Superior Suite. To be honest it was an extremely pleasant stay, with a very friendly staff. In a time of crises like this in leb, having 24/7 electricity and water is a bless that sky suites fulfill. I am not an artistic person, but the painting in the apartment were soothing and easy on the eyes. Available parking spots which a rare gem in Hamra area.

Booked a double bedroom suite on the 11th floor with nice views. Rooms are very spacious and clean with good facilities. Swimming pool on top floor and gym in the basement. Nice location close to all shops. Apart from this, their breakfast wasn't good at all and a very few items. Stayed there for a day.

These trendy spots have become popular among students, digital nomads, professionals, and freelancers who appreciate not only great brews but also reliable WiFi and cozy atmospheres. With multiple locations throughout Lebanon, Urbanista allows visitors to find their perfect work nook without the hassle of juggling various café memberships or lugging laptops around.
Excellent place for meetings and studying. Their environment allows you to stay for hours and hours in front of your laptop. You can have a drink or eat. Took the caramel mocha drink and tasted great. Friendly staff. Recommended.

Urbanista is a cozy spot that attracts a diverse crowd—business professionals, students, and remote workers alike. The ambiance is welcoming, making it an ideal place to work, study, or just relax. The staff are consistently friendly and make you feel right at home. My only concern is that not all the items listed on the menu are available, which can be a bit disappointing. Overall, it’s a great place, but it would be even better with a fully stocked menu.

We went there on a Sunday morning and it was not crowded. We were planning and working and we were able to focus. The seating was relaxing and i loved the interior. The food is good and the service was great the lady was very friendly. I also liked the outdoor space at the end of the store.

The ambiance is nice, jazz music was cool. The tea was good. Minted lemonade was great and tasty. They Russian cake is really good, a must try. Attentive yet not disturbing staff, they are nice and friendly. My previous experience with their coffee is satisfying

Super cosy and beautiful coffee spot, we enjoyed staying there to relax and have some stuff to eat. The food is good but not insane. However the French toast are VERY good and I loved it ! The service is super kind and gentle, the location is also nice in the heart of gemmayze with a lot of nice things around. I recommend this place 100%!

Nice coffee shop . Warm ambiance to spend sometime reading a book bought from adjacent Antoine book store. They even have a large table in the center, where students can plug in their computers and do their assignments. Intellectuals are easily visible. 😅

Kempinski Summerland is a luxurious seaside resort located in Beirut, offering an array of amenities including three restaurants, six bars, an outdoor pool, a spa, and a private beach. The resort's brunch features live entertainment and a wide selection of high-quality dishes made from fresh ingredients. Situated south of Beirut's city center, the hotel is designed around a lagoon-like pool that creates the illusion of a floating city when viewed from certain angles.
We had the most wonderful stay at Kempinski Hotel Beirut for our honeymoon, and we could not be happier with our choice. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel warmly welcomed and treated us with exceptional care. Every interaction was professional, attentive, and genuinely kind – it truly felt like we were in the best hands throughout our stay. One of the absolute highlights was the Cilantro restaurant and food service team. The quality of the food, the attention to detail, and the creativity of the dishes exceeded all expectations. Every meal was beautifully prepared and full of flavor, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had an unforgettable dining experience. As a surprise, we even received special desserts to celebrate our honeymoon – such a thoughtful touch that made us feel truly special. The atmosphere of the hotel is elegant and luxurious, yet very comfortable and welcoming. The facilities are well-maintained, the rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, and every corner of the hotel reflects a high standard of excellence. We are deeply grateful to the entire team at Kempinski Beirut for making this special occasion so memorable. We can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for outstanding service, world-class dining, and a truly unforgettable stay. We will definitely return in the future!

By far, this is the best hotel resort in Lebanon! The service is impeccable, the ambiance is truly breathtaking, and the overall mood makes the entire experience unforgettable. From the warm welcome at the main gate security to the moment we checked out, everything was handled with professionalism and genuine care. The reception team was outstanding , their hospitality made us feel at home from the very first moment until our departure. We absolutely loved the room’s setup, cleanliness, and attention to detail. Room service was excellent as well. A special thanks to Sarah, Cyrine, Ahmad, and Farah for their exceptional service, they truly made our stay remarkable.

We booked the romance package for 1 night to celebrate my husband's birthday. Big thanks to Mr. Jean-Pierre for helping me customise it to our preferences. We loved every part of it!! The resort itself is beautiful, spotless clean and the design is very artistic (i particularly loved those little human figurines all over the place). The deluxe sea view room is beautiful, wide with well-designed partitions, digital lighting and curtain control. The bathroom is so luxrious though i would prefer more luxurious toiletries. The room has napkins and bins everywhere and i haven't seen this in any hotel so far - love it! The view from the balcony is serene though the sea view is very partial but well that's how the hotel is built. The spa is top-notch, so is the massage and staff there, already reviewed the spa on their account. We had 80 minutes heavenly massage. The in-room dinner experience was amazing, super delicious, generous and elegant. They also offered fruits and heart-shaped cake as a birthday gift. Hassan from room service is a true star with aimable attitude and sincerely cares about making the guests' experience positive - he rejected tips twice, but my husband insisted more lol. Breakfast was good as well, some items were better than others, but overall it was a nice experience with super helpful smiling staff. From the valet to management, the staff and service are flawless. True luxury and Lebanese hospitality 😍

During our stay at kempenski resort during the summer period for couple of months I recognized few employees like Hassan the room service guy which consistently provided outstanding room service. He was always on point anytime we ordered meals or drinks with extra care. The other guy hussein sherri from the house keeping is irreplacable amongst all hotels ive been in he is so neat, room was spotless and smelled fresh all the time , also Nagham is wonderful and her service was so neat , linens were crisp also adding extra towels. Jad on the reception is another asset for the site very welcoming with smile on his face all the time. We appreciate the the house keeping, room service and most services at the hotel. Would gladly return to Kempenski resort . Thank you Hassan haidar room service Hussein sherri and Nagham the house keeping Jad nd his colleagues are wonderful also on the reception.

From the moment I arrived, the Kempinski redefined what true five-star hospitality feels like thanks to the beautiful Sarah at the reception. Every detail, from the warm welcome at the door to the seamless check-in, spoke of professionalism and genuine care. The room was immaculate — elegantly designed with luxurious touches, breathtaking views, and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. Housekeeping maintained everything to perfection, and the turn-down service was a thoughtful touch that made each evening feel special. Breakfast was a highlight of the day: an incredible spread with both local and international selections, fresh ingredients, and attentive staff who remembered my preferences after just one visit. Dining at the hotel’s restaurants was equally outstanding, with dishes that were as beautiful as they were delicious. What truly sets the Kempinski apart is its service. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond — anticipating needs before I even voiced them, offering helpful local tips, and always greeting me with a smile. It’s clear that hospitality here isn’t just a job; it’s a passion. The facilities were world-class: a pristine pool, a serene spa, and common areas that felt both grand and inviting. Location-wise, it’s perfectly placed for both leisure and exploring the city, yet offers a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle. My stay was flawless from start to finish. If you’re looking for a hotel where luxury meets heart, the Kempinski is where you’ll find it. I can’t wait to return

🌿 Oh, a VEGAN restaurant! A lovely, homey location with a welcoming staff and warm atmosphere. The food is delicious, with a wide variety of dishes served all day. You can truly enjoy the Lebanese flavors across the menu, from breakfast items, appetizers, sandwiches, and lahme b’ajine, to vegan pasta, Indian dishes, and burgers. Come to Orenda and you’ll definitely find something you love, any time of day. I’ve also tried their Saj Brunch, which was wonderful — great vibes, a cheerful crowd, and an abundant open buffet. They also host musical evenings, which I haven’t experienced yet but surely will soon! If you care about good food, animal welfare, and our planet, Orenda is a place worth supporting. Your small gesture (“grain de sable”) truly makes a difference.

Went with my family. It was WOW! Seriously, the chef is extremely talented. Never tasted so many flavours, working together. Nothing compares. Even non vegans would fall in love with Orenda. Mallow in London was my favourite restaurant anywhere, but now that's at No.2. The restaurant is quaint with beautiful decoration and the service was perfect. This restaurant is why I love vegan restaurants, theyre attentive to detail. Pros: The best food worldwide, The best deco worldwide, The best service worldwide Cons: That I don't live in Lebanon 😔

Such a cozy space and pet friendly where you can bring your dogs along. The entrance is from the main street so you dont get lost as shown in one of the photos. The ambience is nice though the outdoor space is limited with 3-4 tables as they have an indoor space too. Its a calm peaceful place for a chitchat with friends. Enjoy your beer and drinks along with some bites or even food. Also considered as light place for finishing your job on your laptop or whatever business.

One of the places that I'd call a hidden gem. The staff are absolutely wonderful, friendly, and very welcoming. The food is great, and the coffee is okay. Best part about this place: you can come in and spend the day with your laptop, grab your coffee, a great meal, and finish it with a drink! The music is really nice as well, perfect for work or chatting with friends. I definitely recommend this place!

Orenda has definitely earned its title of « Beirut’s hidden gem » . It has become the equivalent of home for me in lebanon. Everything about this place is beyond adorable. The owners are insanely welcoming , the staff is amazing , the food is excellent (for someone who is not even vegan) I haven’t missed a dish on the menu and I am always spoiled for choice, even their drinks are out of this world. But more importantly than all of this , it’s the feel of the place, the details that you see in every single corner, the beautifully designed garden, the energy you get the second you step in and the overall atmosphere. You can’t beat that even if you try and it doesn’t hurt that it’s dog friendly ans has the cutest items to buy form the concept store. Orenda definitely lives up to all its reviews, can’t recommend it enough. It has been my happy place back in lebanon since its opening.

Nestled in the heart of Beirut, Luna's Kitchen is a vibrant vegan haven that invites you to indulge in a delightful culinary experience. This charming eatery features a cozy ambiance adorned with handmade rugs and colorful tiled murals, creating an inviting atmosphere for diners. The menu is impressively diverse, showcasing an array of dishes inspired by Lebanese, American, Mediterranean, and Middle Eastern cuisines—all crafted with 100% plant-based ingredients.
The go-to vegan place in Beirut. Highly recommended. Amazing food options and friendly staff. The shawarma sandwich tastes great.

They serve 100% vegan food, including vegan pizza. This vegan restaurant is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year, and has a funky pop interior. The price is relatively reasonable, unlike some vegan restaurants around the world that tend to be overpriced, even considering the high inflation in Lebanon. The taste of the food is quite plain, without a lot of seasoning and sugar. In other words, they can probably concentrate on how the natural flavours work. The atmosphere is relaxed, given that the place is open 24/7 and there are plenty of attractions and free Wi-Fi. The service is also courteous, with explanations when they ask me what I have ordered. # Beirut # Lebanon

The atmosphere: Incredible, there's Foosball, Billiards, places to play music, couches, a massive ans beautiful aquarium, and the place has a very comforting atmosphere. The food: I was absolutely bewildered. Compared to McDonald's it's not the best; however, considering the food is 100% vegan, I was very surprised at the quality of the food, and I could barely tell the difference between real meat and what I was served. I highly recommend the vegan cheese rolls, the vegan Philly cheesesteak, and the vegan sujk sandwich. The vey nice waitress I had recommended the vegan pesto pizza too. The service: Waiters and waitresses where always checking up and making sure you got what you want and what you need, so I really liked the service here. They were all also incredible nice and helpful. The negatives: -The couches, chairs, and tables aren't the cleanest, also most of the furniture while looking somewhat nice, is genuinely uncomfortable. -Some of the people that work there can be outright mean. -The wifi NEVER works. Not on my laptop, not on my phone. It's kind of absurd if I'm being honest. -They almost never have change for dollar. If you're going here, I recommend you bring with you a sh** ton of LBP. Note: the lazy cake is incredible

Eaten here twice. Once the hummus and once the barbecue pizza. Nice atmosphere and very friendly staff. Maybe a bit pricey to be Lebanon. The hummus was 3,5$ and the pizza 9$ (July 2023). The pizza was very good, but you can definitely find better hummus nearby.

Nestled in the heart of Beirut, Al Habtoor Grand Hotel offers a luxurious urban retreat with modern amenities and ancient wellness traditions. The hotel features chic French dining, an outdoor pool, and a rejuvenating spa for guests to unwind. With sleek spa facilities and revitalizing treatments, it's the perfect escape for both mind and body. The hotel also provides a free shuttle service to downtown Beirut and surrounding areas, making it convenient for guests to explore the city.
The highlight of our stay at Al Habtoor Palace Beirut was without a doubt the exceptional service. The staff — especially Mariette and Sara — went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of, making our experience truly memorable. Their warmth and professionalism made us feel at home. While the hotel carries a timeless charm, a touch of renovation would make the experience even more remarkable. Thanks to the incredible team, our stay was unforgettable.

⚠️ WARNING: DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL ⚠️ Avoid this hotel at all costs! We booked the Grand Habtoor Hotel Beirut trusting their claim of being a 5-star property, but what we experienced was nothing short of a nightmare. The moment we entered our “suite,” we were met with a strange, foul smell. We brushed it off at first, assuming that a supposedly luxury hotel would of course be clean. After a full week of sleeping in that bed, we discovered the horrifying truth: the mattress we had been sleeping on was soaked with urine and possibly menstrual blood stains. That was the source of the stench. We had grown suspicious that housekeeping wasn’t actually changing the sheets, so we stripped the bed ourselves, and what we uncovered was beyond vile and absolutely traumatizing. Not only was the mattress disgusting, but even the duvets and comforters had urine stains on them, hidden beneath the white sheets they use to cover everything up. When we confronted the staff and showed them the filthy bedding, they didn’t react with accountability or professionalism. Instead, they had the audacity to accuse us of being OCD. Imagine being told you’re overreacting while staring at a mattress and bedding drenched in bodily fluids. It was insulting, dismissive, and downright shocking. Although they made a half-hearted attempt to “fix” the situation, the damage was already done. The cleanliness of this hotel is a complete zero. They even admitted they didn’t have functioning vacuum cleaners, which explains the filthy and stained carpets throughout the property. As if that weren’t enough, the hallways reek of mold, the restaurants left us with food poisoning after their attempt to apologize with a dinner in their so-called Italian restaurant, and the night ended with us vomiting. Employees loiter in the halls and even eavesdrop outside doors, creating an atmosphere that feels more unsettling than hospitable. To top it all off, if you order delivery, the drivers aren’t allowed to bring food up, so the bellboy intercepts them and takes the tips for himself. The facilities are equally appalling, from broken irons to disgusting carpets, everything about this place screams neglect and greed. To be fair, Rashid and Manuela did apologize, but an apology does not erase the fact that we unknowingly slept on a urine-soaked mattress and bedding for days, got sick from their food, and were treated with arrogance when we tried to raise legitimate concerns. This is not a 5-star hotel. It is a disgrace. We have photos and videos to prove it. Avoid, avoid, avoid.
Mohamad E — Google review
I booked a room and at the last minute was unable to stay. The policy of the hotel sensually they would take the full payment for a cancellation, but the staff was so understanding and did not charge me for the late cancellation, even though it was my fault. This really shows the exceptional service they provide, even for customers who have not yet even stayed with them! I will for sure keep them in mind for next time. Thank you all for this gesture as it means a lot.

Botanical garden
Horsh Beirut, the largest green space in the city, has been neglected since its completion in 1995. The campaign aims to open it securely and permanently for the public to enjoy fresh air and nature. The area is mainly filled with pine and olive trees, along with various plants like Arbutus unedo and bougainvillea. Despite being a bit run down, efforts are being made to clean up and improve landscaping.
So peaceful and relaxing, surprisingly clean, one of the few places in beiurt that has any green in it, its a good pick if you want to go on a picnic .

I was surprised to have such a nice parc in Beirut, especially after all these bombs lately near it. I had a really nice walk. It is clean and wasn't crowded for a Sunday. Kids were playing with rollers. Nice place for a small walk.
Charline H — Google review
The park is very poorly maintained — there’s trash scattered everywhere, and most of the grass is dry or dead. It was extremely crowded when I visited, and the loud music coming from different groups totally ruined the peaceful vibe I was hoping for. I really wanted to enjoy some green space in the city, but this just wasn’t it. Super disappointing experience. I did enjoy walking between the trees tho
Bloxy M — Google review
Horsh Beirut is a great green oasis in the heart of the city. It’s a perfect spot to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy some fresh air. The park is well maintained with clean paths, shaded areas, and playgrounds for kids. It’s a nice place for a walk, a picnic, or just to relax and enjoy nature. If you’re in Beirut and need a break from the city, Horsh Beirut is definitely worth a visit!
Shireen I — Google review
In a city that lacks green spaces, Horsh Beirut plays several important roles. Its trees produce oxygen to relieve air pollution. Its paths are used by joggers who want to escape Beirut's heavy traffic. But the park is in desperate need of maintenance funds. Many parts of it suffer neglect. It's still beautiful and worth a visit.
Georges Y — Google review
A little run down but they were busy cleaning up and doing landscaping. This oasis in the middle of Beirut is really green zone with paths around and many shaded places. It is a great place to take the kids with some playgrounds for the little ones.
Heinz G — Google review
Great public park, with a lot of trees and greenery. The only open gate is from Omar Beyhum street, the others are closed. Family friendly. Very clean. Could use some upgrades especially by making the bathrooms functional, and fixing the benches.
Mahmoud A — Google review
This is good to have such a green zone open to public for free. This area could have been a great recreational zone in the heart of Beirut. A lot of effort is necessary to upgrade it to the level and to improve the quality of services. Public awareness on cleaning is also needed, as well as enforcement.

Overall we enjoyed the stay at the hotel. Check-in staff is amazing! We arrived there and my kids were exhausted from the flight. After checking-in the receptionist was so sweet with my three year old daughter, entertaining her while showing us to the waiting area. The room is great, location wonderful, and food delicious. My two complaints: the waiting time for food and the concierge desk confused my airport transportation twice. That said, I don’t have the heart to mark them down because the receptionist was awesome!

Went there to pick up an item which happened to be in lost and found. The (maybe) efficient but not human procedure took 52 minutes. And I got a parking ticket. Flowers in the lobby are nice. Smart way to slash budgets :)

The Smallville Hotel is a cutting-edge establishment situated in the vibrant residential area of Badaro, Beirut. This unique hotel caters to both short and extended stays, boasting 117 spacious bedrooms, 37 suites, and five well-lit meeting rooms. Guests can indulge in various amenities such as a spa, gym, design shop, hair salon, concierge service, pool with sweeping city views and VIP perks. The hotel also features seven restaurants offering diverse culinary experiences.
I've stayed at this hotel during my business trip in Beirut last 21st September and I can understand why this is the one they recommended for me. The location has a lot of cafes so walking on my free time was so nice. The staff are helpful and friendly (a very SUPER welcome indeed). They are clear with their rules and considerate at the same time. The Breakfast was also amazing, they have a good selection of food. And being there for 5 days, I did not get tired of their breakfast selections. There are 2 places that I have not checked at this hotel, the pool and rooftop bar which I was told was amazing. I do hope to check it if I ever get the opportunity to come back. Thank you The Smallville Hotel for making my stay in Lebanon amazing and superb!

The pool area at this hotel is undeniably beautiful — the aesthetic is on point, with a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for a day of lounging. Unfortunately, the experience was brought down by the service. The reception staff were surprisingly rude and unwelcoming, which set a negative tone from the start. Additionally, the staff at the pool bar seemed unfamiliar with the drinks they were serving and couldn't answer basic questions about the menu. It's a shame, because the ambiance really had potential. With better-trained and more professional staff, this could easily be a five-star spot.

This hotel has a fun, unique vibe with its superhero theme. Rooms are clean, and the staff especially Maya and Ala’ at the front desk were incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to assist us with bookings. The pool is also clean and has a nice atmosphere. The only downside: charging $10 a night for parking even for guests, which doesn’t really make sense.
Raneem M — Google review
Such an amazing hotel! Smallville is truly one of the best in town. The staff are super friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are cozy and comfortable. One highlight for me was the food — I tried their burger, and it’s honestly the best I’ve ever had in a hotel. Highly recommend staying here!
Laith A — Google review
It’s o-k — but I found it very strange that you’re not allowed to bring any food from outside into the hotel to your room (thus forcing you to order room service, felt a bit like a cinema forcing you to buy from the lobby). They also charge for the nespresso capsules — I saw it said “$3” and assumed that meant for extra! Never in my life have I stayed in a supposedly 5* hotel where they charge for Nespresso in your room! Staff are friendly. These comments are for management who need to bring their policies in line with other 5* hotels if they want to keep charging at this level. Rooms are big (provided you get a deluxe)

Promenade
Corniche El Manara, Ain El Mraiseh, Beirut is a popular seaside promenade that stretches for about 5 kilometers from St. George Bay to Ramlet al-Bayda. It was designed during the French Mandate period and offers a glimpse into the city's lifestyle. Visitors can spot affluent locals at upscale cafes and in luxurious cars against the backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea and Mount Lebanon. The area is known for its vibrant nightlife with clubs being popular attractions at night.
IT WAS SO CLEAN🤌🏼 even the water I was not expecting it - it was a pleasant surprise. U can even swim there
Sophie M — Google review
Clean, loads of seating and the wide pavement with great views out to sea make this a great place for a stroll in the sun. At the weekend there were hoards of people fishing in the water below which was great to watch and the whole length gave a nice sense of what a welcoming city it is. It’s such a shame that the water was so polluted with rubbish, especially when everywhere else is so well kept. It certainly doesn’t distract the locals though, who clearly love sunbathing on the rocks out in the water. During my visit to the city I walked it a few times, and although nothing special as such, it was one of my favourite areas.
Steve B — Google review
The cleanest spot in Beirut, wish other places were too. A wide pavement to walk or jog on. Ample number of benches decorated with Palm trees. The view of the Mediterranean sea is not to be missed whilst the breeze from the sea is so refreshing especially in the summer heat. The crowd is friendly, however, there are spots like the New Lighthouse, which should be avoided. There are even local boat riders who display their skills at times by riding over the waves or a few locals show off their diving skills, which in all earnest, deserves recognition. The streetlights however are not lit, but given the 4hr electricity availability in Lebanon, it's understandable, nevertheless, the roads light up thanks to the well lit buildings opposite the road
Shaik M — Google review
The Corniche, Beirut's attractive seaside promenade, brings together people from all walks of life. Joggers and casual strollers, amateur fishermen and pro swimmers, divers and floaters, the rich and the poor congregate to gawk at the sea, the glitz and each other!
Georges Y — Google review
It’s fun to walk around. The beach is a mix of trash and rough seas and people hanging for ter dear loves on the rocks. It’s quite cool to see though - very “Beirut sur mer” outside of the expensive beach clubs.
Andre M — Google review
My favourite place in Beirut. A buzzy atmosphere, especially on a weekend. Lovely views of the sea. A nice place to escape the city madness for a nice walk... And people watching!!
Katie H — Google review
Probably my favorite thing I did in Beirut was strolling along this beautiful stretch along the coast. You have to see it to believe it. The sea, the traditional architecture, the modern skyline, East Beirut rising on the hills hidden in the clouds in the horizon...

Awesome place to be in, can do sports like jogging, cycling, walking, and even just glazing at the Mediterranean sea. The feeling of being at this place is undescribable..if you travel away from Lebanon, this would be the place to miss

Nestled in the heart of Beirut, the Radisson Blu Martinez Hotel is a modern oasis that combines style and comfort. With spacious rooms adorned with soft lighting and equipped with amenities like free Wi-Fi, satellite flat-screen TVs, and tea/coffee makers, guests can unwind in a serene environment. The hotel boasts an impressive wellness center featuring an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and gym for those looking to stay active during their stay.
If you want to stay at a hotel where the staff is most welcoming, the concierge listen and provide you with your needs and the location is very safe then the Radisson Blu Martinez is for you. Ali and Hussein truly go over and beyond in every way. My family and I thank you for a wonderful stay.
Ali A — Google review
I give the hotel 3 stars but before I write down the points I deducted, I want to give the hotel its due in some respects. The location of the hotel is quite central and many central points in Beirut can be reached with a short walk. The room I stayed in was clean. There was no bad smell in the room since it was a non-smoking room. On the other hand, as you can see in the photos, the furniture and furnishings are very old. But really old. The wooden coverings at the entrance of the room are out of place. Of course, it is not a super luxurious hotel, but in a hotel where you pay more than $100 per night, you expect at least more proper and functional things like a hair dryer and iron. The floors were carpeted but they were not clean enough. I think they should be cleaned more carefully. The oil of the French fries I ate in the hotel lobby probably had not been changed for a long time and many different things were cooked in this oil. The taste was quite bad and the smell was bad. I did not like the hamburger either.
Zamane G — Google review
I’ve stayed in this hotel more than once. The best part is undoubtedly the location - walkable to Zaytouna Bay for dinner. Otherwise it’s very tired around the edges: poor quality towels, air conditioner (either freezing or off), rooms smell damp/musty, poor quality breakfast buffet (stale croissants and if you stay several days you realise they are putting out same food daily if not eaten). On my last stay they didn’t service my room at all after the first night, either. And since I was out all day I only found this out coming back in the evening. Quite disappointed, but not saying I wouldn’t stay there again. Lebanon is having a huge financial crisis and frankly everywhere I’ve stayed there has been similar/the same.

So many good things to say where do I start?! Ali, Hussein, and Rabii and so many others are the most hospitable kind and welcoming team I have ever met. Truly and honestly they are a powerhouse. Their service is amazing their recommendations for food and entertainment are authentic. If you care for loyalty and magnificent service stay at the Radisson Blu Martinez. Thank you so very much for everything! Nesrin P.S taxi driver Haj Haidar is the gentleman you want to ask for he will take you anywhere with ease knows the ins and outs truly a humble being.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay was honestly frustrating. The pool had extremely high chlorine levels, within minutes of swimming, my eyes were burning, and my skin felt irritated. The smell of chlorine was overwhelming and stayed on me even after a rinse. It didn’t feel safe or properly monitored. Management really needs to step up their maintenance and hygiene protocols. Until that happens, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Just the staff alone makes this place worth staying at. I was traveling alone and Toufic did everything he could to make sure I was comfortable. He went above and beyond and Im so grateful for his kindness. And the bellman are also great, eager to help and always smiling. The location is good, room was clean. I just wish the pool had more sun exposure. The Japanese restaurant in the hotel is a gem!

One of the worst Hotels I have ever stayed in. My flight was cancelled so I booked a room in this hotel as it claimed to be 5 stars hotel. I wouldn't give it one star, the hotel is so dirty, there were some disgusting stains on the bed sheet and a blood stain on the mattress and some old tissue. Also, the bathroom is rusty and the curtains have many visible stains. I have to mention also the outdated equipment and the cracks on the ceiling. Location is good and the staff are friendly. However, the hotel is insanely dirty and I would not recommend it to anyone. It was shameful for a 5 stars hotel with 75$ per night.

Very nice hotel, room was big and have all the service iron shower bath, room service was good, well secured, reception staff was very helpful he took us to local cafe as we arrived very late. Outstanding services

The worst service I have ever had, the hotel doesn't deserve one star rate The breakfast service was not related to five star hotel. Bad house keeping service, we left our rooms from 11:00 am and went back at the evening and the room was not cleaned, several complains were reported to reception after 1 hour ( 9:30 pm) the house keeping came to clean the room. The pool is too small for 5 star hotel It was worst experience I ever had, I don't recommend this hotel at all
Yazan S — Google review

Shadin K — Google review
Quality and price are not matching. The 4 stars are barely 3. The room are old, cold and we had problems with the windows than could not be closed and the wc! The staff is kind but cannot help the guests properly. The area is pretty odd: half destroyed and the rest so and so! Breakfast: pretty big buffet but the bakery part was cold. Again for a reasonable price I would recommend it but for the price we spent ... go for another hotel!
Giovanna S — Google review
I waited 20 minutes with my bags just to check in. No one offered to take my bags, there were barely any staff present and the hotel wasn't in the least bit busy. The room was fairly nice but nothing lavish - clean sheets, large bed, desk, TV, bathtub, furniture in relatively poor condition but acceptable given the pricing. I had a big issue with the safe, it simply didn't work and would sound the alarm with the slightest touch. Room service is outrageously overpriced, but that's to be expected of a 4 star hotel. I can't reccomend this hotel but can't advise against it either. It's simply okay.

We stayed at the Commodore for 10 nights. Excellent location, service, rooms, and overall value. They were always seeking feedback and wanting to make sure we were comfortable. The rooms are spacious, clean and with fully functioning bathrooms. Location near Hamra was so convenient. Internet easy to connect to and the outdoor pool area was inviting and clean. Truly enjoyed our visit thanks to the excellent services and personalized atmosphere while away from home. It made all the difference for us. Would highly recommend!

Some disadvantages: - The rooms are dirty from the first glance that the floor leaves black marks on your feet and the bathroom has an unpleasant smell ( molds) - You might find another person's hair, some crumbs or a bug on the bed (see the photo) , moreover I've marked the bed set and realized that they don't change it ... - The kitchen has no plates or eating set, only two bottles of water and two tea bags .. so grady - I got free maintenance for the door lock ( replacing batteries) Some advantages - Good reception staff -Calm and very polite restaurant workers - Good wifi - Good air conditioner - Changing bathroom towels, daily Suggestions - Uniform for staff especially the girls on reception - More care on indoor cleaning especially the bed set - Providing decent hospitality and providing complete bathroom amenities as per 4 star description I will give it a second try and feed back

While check-in was still fine I did not sleep well due to a lot of mosquitos. While that might not be fault of the hotel there was a electricity black out and they did not even put any generator on. While I had to leave at that time in the early morning I had to shower with phone light and could not use elevators with my luggage. Very bad organized for those cases.

Horrible. Stained floors and furniture, for hot water you need to wait around 10-15 min while keeping the faucet open. Mini fridge empty had to go to a store at 3am to get water (didn’t realize it was empty till then). Rude and angry staff. Pillows are hard as a rock. At night I couldn’t sleep because of all the shouting and loud music from the pub downstairs and in the early morning people on the road start shouting.Another thing that happened i was originally given a room which had stained everything and when I requested another room i was charged extra 20$ so that i can have a clean room and the new room also had problems like door not closing properly and clogged faucets. DOES NOT RECOMMEND EVER.

The tables are fairly scattered, so you can enjoy some privacy in the shadow of an orange tree ☺️ Inside, they have a little room where they sell art and literature and everything is built in a nice and classy way.

Very nice environment, very very nice! I like the sense of history, I like this French style. As for coffee, the only problem is that there are not many types of pour over coffee. But on the other hand, because I am a pure Japanese coffee lover, I can accept this kind of roasting depth. When the texture of the cream is reflected, I am very happy that I chose the right shop.

Kalei Café is truly a gem in Beirut! Housed in a beautiful old Lebanese house, it carries the charm of history while offering a modern touch in its food, drinks, and presentation. The balance is inspiring – you feel connected to the roots and heritage, yet at the same time, you experience creativity and progress. The food is excellent, carefully prepared, and full of flavor. The coffee and baked goods are served with such attention to detail that you immediately feel the passion behind them. Add to this the warm welcome, the friendly staff, the beautiful setting, and the vibrant atmosphere – and you get much more than a café; you get an experience that celebrates both tradition and innovation. It’s a place that tells you: yes, Beirut has a history, but it also has a future. Highly recommended!

Great place. Awesome nature and house/coffee house. Zaatar is a little too salty but everything else is great. We liked our waitress. She spoke fluent English. Definitely a positive experience.

The most lovely old home completely renovated to showcase its original beauty. The food was delicious and the coffee excellent. I wish I had discovered it earlier.

A cozy coffee spot tucked away at the far end of Beirut’s bustling Hamra. Perfect for unwinding or getting some focused laptop work done.

Lancaster Eden Bay is a stylish hotel located in Beirut, offering beachfront accommodation with various amenities such as multiple dining options, bars, an outdoor pool, and a spa. The hotel features 158 rooms with adjoining terraces and balconies, some equipped with individual climate control and modern conveniences like mini fridges and coffee makers. Guests can enjoy the seasonal outdoor swimming pool, indoor pool, fitness center, private beach area, and on-site restaurant.
The rooms are very comfortable, spacious and offer a beautiful sea view. Team was always ready to assist, friendly and professional. I loved Ward Cham restaurant, you can really taste the richness of the Lebanese cuisine there.
Nour A — Google review
The room view was quite nice, but unfortunately the furniture was not in the best condition. The cleanliness of the terrace was noticeably poor. Service throughout the stay was very slow. I had to request an iron and ironing board repeatedly over two days before receiving them. Reception staff varied greatly—some were friendly, while others were unprofessional and unhelpful. Most of the time, any request was met with the response “it’s hard to do.” I had also requested a shuttle to the airport and clearly provided the time in advance. When I called to reconfirm, I was told it would be difficult to arrange a shuttle at 9:00 PM. After a tense call, I was suddenly informed that the shuttle was in fact already waiting. However, I later found out that the same shuttle had been double-booked for another guest at the same time, which shows a lack of proper coordination. Conclusion: While the view was good, the service was average at best. At this price point, I would prefer to choose a better-managed hotel in the future.

A reservation made for one night honeymoon stay. Very bad experience; they told us that the total amount (that was paid in advance) includes room decoration, love cake and breakfast in the room. The love cake didn't exist and In the morning no breakfast to our room. Plus we have paid little things we had take it in the mini bar despite the technical problem we had faced in the morning (water falling in the morning and phone's room didn't work)

I want to warn everyone about lancaster eden bay due to the unfair treatment and inequality experienced by many guests. The hotel seems to prioritize certain guests while neglecting others, offering vastly different levels of service depending on who you are. This kind of discrimination is unacceptable, and no one should have to deal with such unfairness when choosing a place to stay. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel until they address these serious issues.

Outstanding hotel and staff! We were a large family group (17 of us) traveling to Beirut for the first time and wasn't sure what to expect. We were all very happy with our stay. The rooms were clean, the hotel was new, the staff was amazing and extremely accommodating from the moment we stepped in the door until the day we left (10 days later). The staff members were constantly looking out for our needs. They made our stay exceptional! Kudos to Rony and the breakfast staff!

I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to the management and staff of The Hilton Beirut Downtown for their exceptional service during my recent stay. The team went above and beyond to accommodate my diplomatic needs, ensuring seamless coordination for both my schedule and that of my diplomatic security team. Their efforts in liaising with Lebanese Security Services were impeccable, providing a secure and comfortable environment throughout my visit. Each time I stay at this remarkable property, I am consistently impressed by the unwavering hospitality and warm welcome extended by every member of the staff. The Hilton Beirut Downtown continues to set a stellar standard for excellence, and I look forward to returning in the future. Thank you once again for making this stay truly memorable. Warm regards, Ambassador Patel

I highly recommend this hotel. We had a great experience. Excellent management and staff. Clean spacious rooms. Breakfast buffet by far one of the best I’ve seen with a large variety and very delicious!! Location is ideal. I will definitely return. Did I say they had excellent customer service 😉

Very clean hotel, excellent staff. We felt safe and we love that they had the executive lounge. We were able to have breakfast, snacks and dinner. The food was excellent. I would definitely return to this hotel. The hilton downtown is near everything, restaurants, shopping center, all with in walking distance.

The location was great for the purpose of the travels to Beirut... shopping !! It’s right next to all the most famous shops. However what truly stood out in this hotel was the service... from the check in to the breakfast to even the housekeepers... everything was top. Loved it and will definitely come back
Marianne S — Google review
Staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Hotel has great amenities and is the closest to the Souks so it's an easy walk. The staff helped me get a Sim card and watched my bags while I shopped and ran last minute errands even after I checked out. Will return to Beirut and will likely always book this hotel.

Clean hotel good location. House keeping follow up needs having a closer look. Food is good, nice staff but, absolutely poor WIFI. Annoying. May be different pillows for the ones having bones pain. Mattress little too stiff but still OK. Nice mezze

Probably one of the best showers I've experienced in a hotel, and I spent around 60 nights per year outside... Very well located, walking distance to a fantastic area for dining, shopping and walking. Kind staff, Thanks Carla at reception for your tips and recommendations ;-)

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever seen! Literally they enter my room while I’m outside and stole my money Also i call them to order from “barber shawarma” they add on the original price about 50$ That’s mad!

My overall experience was positive. I stayed for two months at an affordable price, and the staff were very friendly. The location is ideal, with easy access to Rawches, Hamra, Verdun, downtown and all the tourist attractions. It’s a very safe place to stay, and I would definitely recommend it.

Shade Suites and Studios is a centrally located hotel in Beirut, offering 30 air-conditioned rooms with modern amenities. The hotel has 11 floors and provides designated smoking areas. Guests can enjoy local cuisine breakfasts daily for a fee. Featured amenities include a 24-hour front desk and free self-parking.
A clean, functional and simple lodging nestled in between the heart of Achrafieh / Sodeco. The receptionist Hadi and other staff were nice, helpful and welcoming. Every time I would make a request, it would be made available without hesitation. I enjoyed my stay and ended up extending it. The hotel is on a quiet and seemingly safe street, in walkable distance to various cafes and restaurants or to run errands. I would be back if I’m ever in beirut again.
T.M. — Google review
My recent stay at Shade Suites and Studios was truly a highlight of my Beirut experience. Tucked away in vibrant Sodeco, this accommodation offers the perfect balance of privacy and accessibility. The thoughtfully designed living spaces feature high ceilings and abundant natural light, creating an atmosphere that feels like a home rather than a hotel. What impressed me most was how seamlessly everything worked - from the reliable WiFi to the well-equipped kitchenette. The neighborhood offers fantastic dining options within minutes, and the 24-hour security provided peace of mind. Whether you're a digital nomad needing a productive environment or a traveler seeking authentic Beirut charm, Shade delivers exceptional value that mainstream hotels simply can't match.

I have to tell the story. My wife and I are newly married, we reserved a suite at Shade Suites and Studios for 15 days. When we came back from the wedding, the place was all red rose petals - with a heart shape on the bed also, and a vase with beautiful flowers. The next morning one of the friendly staff knocked on the door, the owner brought us white chocolate strawberry cake! The whole team really made our days, giving us hospitality and a great fast service, they greet you on your way in and out! I definitely recommend to stay at Shade Suites and Studios.
