First time on the island and not disappointed in our choice of hotel. Room was nice thou would of expected a better view for a junior suit. Service was outstanding by all staff, they attended to your ever need without fuss. Food was very good, good range available and very tasty. Shame the entertainment was sometimes quick and finished rather early which then made us go out to other entertainment in the local area. Overall a great location and great hotel, we have already booked for a longer stay next year.

We’re doing bed and breakfast here and it’s just lovely. The breakfasts are so impressive with a huge variety of food to choose from including an egg station for fresh omelettes. The services has been lovely, very attentive and friendly. The rooms are clean, a tad dated but it’s immaculate.

7 day all inclusive stay The hotel’s location is fantastic! There’s a shop right across the street that is 50/50 for price but this is external to the hotel, and the beach is just a 5-minute stroll away with shops and restaurants including a McDonalds. Although you can see and hear some of the night life it did not disturb our stay. The rooms were lovely, and most importantly, super clean with daily maintenance. The only thing we’d tweak is the pillows—they were a bit too soft for our liking, but that’s just a personal preference, and you’d get a million different opinions on that! We really loved the walk-in shower and the dressing room layout; it was a 10/10! There is a mini fridge in the room which was very helpful keeping the drinks cool and a safe which we did not use (as we didn't know there was a charge for this). On arrival we were greeted with complimentary fruit bowl, two waters and red wine in the room. The views were great and we didn't experience any issues with noise levels even though we were right above the kitchen and kept our balcony open throughout our stay. The food was also great. We only went out for two meals out of the 21 we had, as we weren’t feeling the theme that day. Every meal was absolutely delicious, and there were tons of choices—you’d need to be a food snob not to find something you liked! The service was absolutely wonderful, with very pleasant, funny, and tentative staff everywhere. The only thing we’d improve is that sometimes the service was a bit slow. It wasn’t the staff’s fault; it just seemed like whoever was on was working so hard to maintain the area they were in, making it tough to fill the gaps between busy floors. Even though the staff were super busy, they always took the time to have a little joke or conversation, and no request was too much! Lucaz and the gentleman with the fancy ring that opens bottles were particularly memorable! Sandy Beach nailed everything to make this a fun week away, leaving a great impression that we’re already looking forward to coming back. We had 4 rooms and the overall experience was consistent across our party (and different floors). Thanks a bunch for everything! I've included a few pictures from our stay 🌞

We had a lovely stay here Bed and Breakfast only, the hotel staff really went above and beyond to make our stay special, very friendly and attentive, the cleaners are very accommodating and friendly as are all the staff, fantastic breakfast! Location is a 5 minute walk from the beach and 10 minutes from the main restaurant street, well equipped gym and very peaceful FKK decks. We are British and had exactly the same treatment as everyone else. Would stay here again if we returned to Gran Canaria

It is a nice hotel. Staff is friendly. Well located. Nice, clean, and warm pool. Things to note- to use the safe you will need to pay, coffee or tea in the room also needs to be requested, not there as standard. Still don't know if it is free or paid, i guess i will find out at the end of the stay 😀. The food buffet is good and has plenty of choices. The dinner buffet features different world cuisines on different evenings and has ample food choices in starters, main and desserts.

My experience at this hotel was very disappointing. During the entire week of my stay, the air conditioning did not work, and at no point did I receive a solution or even proper attention from the hotel staff. It was extremely uncomfortable to be without such a basic amenity, especially when it was essential for a pleasant stay. I truly missed proactivity and care towards the guests. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel and I will not return, mainly due to the lack of support and attention to such a simple yet fundamental issue. To make things worse, the hotel’s own sign, which should display 4 stars, has already lost one star — and honestly, even 3 stars would be generous.

Day 1 set the tone: We arrived and at that moment you are living in fantasy land, you finally arrived at hotel for you holiday to really begin. We waited a while, but eventually got to check in. The receptionist put our wrist bands on and said you are half board. I asked her to repeat and then confirmed we are all inclusive. I had to show evidence of our booking which is fine as that's what documents are there for. It was when the receptionist said that we cant really do or see anything as the power is out. Me and my partner looked at each other rather confused. Once we got the all inclusive bands on we proceeded to head to our room, we got in the lift and as the doors were about to close the door stopped and the power went out. I launched me and my partner out of there. It really wasn't a good start. We got the stairs up to the first floor. Next, we got ourselves cleaned up and headed to the pool area. Sun was beaming and we wanted to put the umbrella up. The life guard was telling us to take it down, we was confused as others were up. We didnt want to be difficult, but we kept it up and he then came over and took it down. Someone next to us explained how it was a little bit windy so they didn't want them flying into the pool. We was just in disbelief on how this was all happening. The person next to us began to explain the hotel issues that have been occurring for a few days, no power, no AC amongst rude receptionists. I felt I made a grave mistake booking this hotel. Once the day was over, I went to have a shower and there was no water pressure at all, barely any water was coming out. I went to the reception and asked what was going on, they said it was due to little electricity and they are working on it. Once sorted and getting to bed, the room was really hot and we felt like we was being cooked in the room. The AC was not working, nothing was coming out. Apparently the AC does not work on one side of the building. This was just day 1. Just felt like a nightmare. The AC issue occurred daily until we realised you can ask for fans, but we did we have to request it, why couldn't the hotel offer a solution instead of just saying sorry nothing we can do right now. It was really embarrassing on their part. Positives: The restaurant waiters and cleaners were friendly and welcoming. The hotel interior is clean and modern, the rooftop sun deck has great views, and the location is convenient for the beach and local shops. Food was fine, with enough simple options for picky eaters. The spa was pleasant, though the sauna and steam room were unusable due to the electrical problems. Overall: I certainly will not be attending this hotel again. I would love to come back to Gran Canaria, but the hotel has left a negative impact and impression and almost ruined our experience. If I wasn't a relaxed person, I would have let it ruin our whole holiday, but we made do and made the most of it.

Reading the negative reviews, I am quite surprised people had that view on this hotel. Staff are lovely, could not do more for you. The rooms are clean and get a deep clean EVERY day unless you ask not to. Towels replaced most days. Hotel is around 20 minutes from the airport and is in a great location near to lots of restaurants, bars, sand dunes etc. Being a vegetarian, they have so many options for food and I couldn’t complain at all with the food - especially when they cook quite a lot of it fresh for you infront of you and there is multiple options to cook ‘to order’. Lots of gluten free options also. The pool is a little on the smaller side but honestly, it was never too busy and the sun bed to pool ratio was perfect. The spa is also lovely, clean and offer lots of treatments. All in all - did not have any complaints!

Despite mixed reviews, Myself and my partner had a great week here. We had the all inclusive and found the food to be delicious, fresh and varied. The rooftop pool was the highlight, and the location was perfect. The rooms were spacious and the staff were wonderful, especially Cristobel, who always made us feel welcome. The wifi however was not so good, but that's my only bad thing about our trip. We would definitely come again

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The food was absolutely delicious, with a wide variety to choose from every day. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always making us feel welcome. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, and the location couldn’t be better—just a 3-minute walk to the beach! A special shout-out to Tito for the fantastic cocktails—he really knows how to mix a great drink! Also, big thanks to Pavel and the animation team for keeping the atmosphere fun and lively throughout our stay. You all made our vacation truly memorable. Highly recommended! Rigersa and Laurent 🧡

DO NOT STAY HERE! Me and my best friend booked this hotel for our first holiday abroad. Upon arrival we were informed that the air con was broken but that it would be fixed within 2 days. This was not an issue for us however it did not get fixed. The next issue came with the cleanliness of our room. It was dirty and had mould in the shower and the bedsheets had brown marks on them. This is not where the issues stopped. We then noticed that the WiFi was not working (we understand that in big hotels this may be the case) so simply thought we would ask reception to see if there was an issue. We were then informed that there was no electricity in the whole of the hotel and that we should “just try and talk to each other” we found this to be rude and disrespectful as we were only asking a question and had no previous communication about there being no electricity. To make matters worse we then both got food poisoning and believe this is because they were unable to keep the Buffett styled food at a safe temperature due to there being no electricity. To top all of these issues off we then had no functioning water in our bathroom and the comment “you can always use the pool to wash” was made. Luckily we were able to move hotels but I wouldn’t suggest anyone stays here because we found it unclean and unsafe. We would recommend Akeah Broncemar instead as that hotel was clean, lovely staff and a good variety of PROPERLY cooked foods.

I strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere, because our experience was nothing short of a nightmare. From the very first day, it was clear that this place is completely mismanaged and the staff have no idea what customer service means. Upon arrival, instead of welcoming us, the receptionist (named Aura) ignored us while she laughed and chatted with her colleague. We stood there waiting until she decided to finish her private conversation. That set the tone for what became the worst stay I have ever experienced. The room itself was a disaster: the bathroom door was swollen and damaged from water, cockroaches were crawling inside, and the shower door didn’t close properly, flooding the hallway every time we used it. When we reported this, Aura’s response was rude and dismissive. She told us to “just put a towel under the door so cockroaches won’t come in” and promised to send a technician who never showed up. Things only got worse. During the second week, the air conditioning broke down and didn’t work for six full days, leaving us in 32°C heat. When we asked for at least a fan, the receptionist arrogantly told us to buy or rent one ourselves. We couldn’t sleep because of the heat, and when we opened the balcony doors to get some air, even more cockroaches entered the room, while loud music from the nearby nightclub went on until 2–3 a.m. As if that wasn’t enough, power and water outages followed. There were days when we couldn’t use the toilet, shower, or even the elevators. The electricity came and went with no warning, trapping people inside elevators. I personally heard someone pounding on the elevator door for help. When I informed reception, the staff started shouting at me instead of doing the obvious—helping the person stuck inside. The complete lack of responsibility was shocking. The staff’s attitude throughout was appalling. They never greeted guests, often ignored us completely, and when we asked for help, they behaved as if we were the problem. The manager gave false promises about when electricity and water would be restored—first “one hour,” then “30 minutes,” which turned into three days of unreliable service and cold water only. One of the worst staff members was a waiter named Cristobal. His behavior was beyond unprofessional. I witnessed him yelling at guests who had been told by reception they could have cold drinks as compensation for the lack of air conditioning. Instead of handling the situation politely, he shouted “that’s not my problem” and threatened to charge them. On another evening, when we were sitting in the common area with friends, he walked in and told us rudely to “go to bed,” as if we were children. This man should not be working in hospitality at all. The pool area was equally disappointing: paint was peeling off in large, sharp flakes that could easily injure someone, the water was murky, and the pool itself was far smaller than what the photos suggested. During the water and power outages, the hotel did absolutely nothing to support guests. Some people had to fill bottles with pool water just to flush their toilets. It was humiliating and unacceptable. To sum up: this hotel and its incompetent, rude staff completely ruined our vacation. The facilities are falling apart, there is no sense of responsibility or care from the employees, and the atmosphere is hostile rather than welcoming. This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

The location is fantastic with all essential amenities nearby. The bus stops directly outside the hotel and the beach is between a 5-10 min walk. Rooms are nice and cleaned daily. I thought not having a towel change daily would be an issue but it's more eco friendly getting then changed every other day which is fair. Solarium is nice, thought it would be bigger but most people sit by the pool anyway so it's not a bad size at all. Food is wack and I've put this on the feedback form. They serve the same food daily with perhaps the odd dish that may be different. I stayed half board so not sure what lunch is like but I can imagine it's the same. Awesome resort, will definitely revisit! The rooms are quite spacious, the food and service are relaxed and overall very nice. Nice pools, jacuzzi, the all inclusive service is excellent. Bowling is from the age of 14, which was a bit strange to us. And the spa for kids is only the indoor pool. No sauna for kids that is. I mention it here because this was not clearly stated in the description. One last thing; no floaties allowed in the pool and throwing a ball in the pool only in a designated area. The lifeguards are quite strict about it.

We only arrived at 11 pm last night and already we are so impressed. We are a family if 5 and this is a celebration holiday for my children who have just finished GCSEs / A levels. It was the best welcome we have ever had at a hotel and every single member of the staff team we have met so far have been so genuinely friendly and lovely. The food is amazing. The facilities are amazing - from the fantastic spa and gym to the pools, games, hot tubs and entertainment. It has loads of atmosphere but not so much that it is overcrowded - so plenty of space for everyone. It is close to the beach and shops and has a bus stop right outside. I hope it continues to be as great over the next 9 days but right now I am already planning to book again!!

Staff are lovely! Spotlessly clean! Food was really good and a good variety daily! Too many rude, arrogant, entitled German guests though! Ruined it for us! Wouldn't go back just because of them! Everything else was great!

Location was good. But only had 10 parking spots and we had to park far from the hotel everyday we had to walk very far and long. Could not use any toys in most part of the pool and 3 bedroom rooms are just 2 bedrooms with a 3rd bed squeezed in. Not recommended would never go back to this hotel not worth it

The German guest will always find something to complain about. ;-) In room 107, you're always right in the middle of the action — whether it's early in the morning when the remains of the previous guests are cleared away, or late at night when someone still feels like playing billiards. But honestly, it didn’t matter — it was vacation time, and it was a great time! The staff always did their best to fulfill everyone's wishes. The food was plentiful and varied, and the entertainment program offered a lot of variety. Anyone who wanted to take part could do so — no pressure at all. Now, the one minus point (which isn’t the hotel’s fault): Hearing the children’s program from the neighboring resort every single evening did get a bit tiring over time. "Aramsamsam... Aramsamsam..." — you know what I mean. I can only speak for myself: I would come back again!

I expected more from this hotel, I was treated rudely at the reception, there were a lot of ants in the room, the air conditioner was on top of us, the bed sheet, on the first day we got sick, you have to pay for everything, for all the entertainment, for towels, for billiards, for everything, and we took all inclusive, children are not allowed anywhere, not even in the jacuzzi. Therefore, I advise you to go here without children and people older than I did not like it.

Absolutely lovely clean hotel with great friendly staff. Food was great. Views were absolutely amazing. Both pool bars were lovely to. Indoor spa was amazing. Cleaners in everyday. I would definitely recommend going all inclusive at this hotel. Retured back to Scotland today and miss it very much. Definitely a ☆☆☆☆ 😊

On our last day in Playa del Ingles at Suitehotel. We've had the best time in our life. Great location. Great service. Food and drinks on all inclusive is all what you need. Special thanks to great staff. Specially to Julia, Yelena, Jonathan, Simon and Victor. It wouldn't be the same without your great service 😊 We will be definitely be back to this lovely place.

The services and staff are doing their job fine, there is no doubt but the hotel doesn’t deserve a 4 and half star AT ALL, the infrastructures are old it may have been a 4 and half stars like 10-15 years ago but nowaday i’d consider it a maybe 2-3star not more and that thanks to the staff doing a good job (in the restaurant and lobby) It feels like a ruins of a ancient good hotel. There was cockraches in my room which I find it UNACCEPTABLE for a 4 and half hotel !!!! I mean ok it’s not the end of the world but when I pay the price of a 4 and half hotel in a touristic location I expect a minimum of luxure. Ofcourse I didn’t mention it to the reception because it happened for the 2-3 first days and I decided to go over it but when I asked for a late check up and they just decided to refuse it completly without any arrangement that was it. They should rerate EVERY hotel in the canary island because there are a lot of them that doesn’t deserve their stars anymore because of how old they infrastructure is and the lack or luxure But the emplacement is right in front of the see I can give them that.

I stayed her in August 2025, the staff are very friendly and the service was excellent, the rooms are decent, it is located near the main beach area and is a 15 minute walk from the Yumbo center. I would stay in this hotel again without hesitation, the lounge bar doesn’t open till 9 pm but the roof top bar is open and the views are great.

Not a bike friendly Hotel. It is not allowed to bring your bike into the room. There is no option to clean your bike, so you should stay your bike rusty when you cam from a rain ride. 20€/Week for the Safe? Realy? 20€ for the starting Pin Code 1234#. Then 1€ so you can use the scale to weight your luggage. In the night, you cannot sleep with open windows, lough Party Zone nearby. The Buffet was good. I only got diarrhea 3 times in one week.

We spent pleasent 5 days in the hotel. It has comfortable rooms with beautiful seaview and perfect service. The breakfast and the dinner was wonderful with continuely fresh meals. The beach is beautiful, but basically mostly windy, but this is the natural condition of the place. The only negative was unfortunately the constant noise from the engine room on the breakfast terrace, which disturbed the peaceful meal.

This hotel is a little gem. Old fashioned rooms and decor. Gardens are beautiful 😍. Tropical plants ponds with fish. Lovely outdoor spaces. Large pool. Only 2 issues Cats can be found in main reception around pool and in garden areas. Not allowed in dining area though. And neither are you as a male in the evening if no long trousers. We booked double rooms but a lot of the rooms are twin. Very central. Staff are lovely 😍 and Rebecca the German Manager is just fabulous 👌.

The hotel was lovely to stay in. All the staff are wonderful, kind and bright, they're very helpful and welcoming. The rooms are very clean, the food is brilliant, the pool is big and clean. It's in a good area as well, next to a bus stop and a smaller shopping centre. I highly recommend this hotel for any stay you have in Gran Canaria! :)

Great hotel with a wonderful garden. Very nice and helpful staff. Clean everywhere, beautiful and cozy rooms. Perfect location of the hotel, you can find everything you need nearby - beach, shops, restaurants, bus stop. If we travel to Gran Canaria again in the future, we will only go to Parque Tropical. We spent one wonderful week at Hotel Parque Tropical and had an excellent experience overall. From the very first moment, we felt welcomed and well taken care of. Although at first glance the style of the hotel might appear somewhat traditional or even a little old-fashioned, in reality it is very well maintained, charming, and far from outdated. It combines a classic atmosphere with comfort, cleanliness, and modern service. The staff deserves special praise: everyone we encountered was attentive, polite, and extremely helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. When we had a minor issue with our shower, it was handled quickly and efficiently—special thanks to the kind lady at reception who took the matter seriously and ensured it was resolved without delay. This professional approach made us feel truly valued as guests. The food was another highlight of our stay. Every meal was beautifully presented, delicious, and varied enough to please different tastes. There was always something new to try, and the quality remained consistently high throughout the week. The garden and outdoor areas of the hotel are beautiful, well-kept, and inviting. Walking through the lush greenery was a real pleasure, giving the entire property a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The overall location of the hotel is excellent as well: quiet, clean, and well maintained, yet close enough to explore the surrounding area easily. One particularly touching detail was that on my birthday the hotel surprised us with a bottle of sparkling wine in the room. This thoughtful gesture really made the day feel special and showed how attentive the staff are to their guests. In summary, Hotel Parque Tropical is a great choice for those who wish to relax in a calm, well-kept environment while still enjoying high-quality service and food. I can warmly recommend it both for families with children and couples or individuals looking for a peaceful holiday. We look back on our stay with only positive memories and would be happy to return.

We really enjoyed the hotel. The area is green and very well maintained, our room, with a garder view, was cozy, breakfasts and dinners were delicious and varied.

If this place could get 6 stars i would give them without hesitation. I have been many times in Gran Canaria since 2019 but never heard of the place unfortunately. From the check-in, till the checkout including the variety of the food and the night shows each day, the rooms with the view, the location of the place and most importantly the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. This made me to fall in love with Gran Canaria again. From now on i will only stay in Hotel Parque Tropical when i visit the Canary Islands and i highly recommend everyone else! Thank you for your hospitality. You truly deserve all the awards you got already and more!

Amazing hotel! Highly recommended! We spent one week in this beautiful hotel. The atmosphere is so relaxing due to being a quiet facility with lots of palm trees and enough space for privacy. The room was spacious and clean and we enjoyed the mini golf and pool table a lot. The service deserves 10 stars! The hotel staff is very friendly, they remember you and greet you every time no matter whether it is the front desk, cleaning, gardening or restaurant/bar staff. You feel very welcomed here and can tell that all of the staff enjoy working there, especially the restaurant/bar employees who seem to have a close bond. They also have cats on the facility that are well taken care of by the staff and therefore in great health condition. Seeing the happy and animal friendly staff made our stay even more enjoyable. As mentioned above, the service is outstanding. They try to satisfy any wish. They even changed our mattresses because we didn’t sleep well on them and surprised me with a strawberry birthday cake and cute decorated breakfast table for my birthday and treated me with sparkling wine brought to our room. The restaurant staff came to congratulate me in person and were just so sweet to us throughout our stay. If you want to enjoy your vacation days in a beautiful, quiet, clean hotel close to the beach with amazing hotel staff you should definitely book this hotel! Overall an amazing hotel! Some ups and some downs. First of all, don’t expect anything from the all inclusive cocktails. Way to sweet and not tasty. But all the other drinks are great. Fast service at the bar, and a big variety of choices. Then for the buffet. In one word amazing. Every day there is a different “theme” with almost to much options. It’s just great. Fast service aswell. When finished, you're plate will be gone in seconds. The waitress are fast. The room is nice, only the bathroom needs some renovation. The hotel is noisy, but it was never annoying. Lots of entertainment, disco’s, live music, auqa gym (the guy hosting is amazing) and more. Lots of space at the pools, so never an problem to find a good place. I had a nice stay

A very nice hotel with all inclusive, breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet. The food was good, but could be a little more variety on the buffet. The hotel has a good location with close proximity to the beach, car rental, shops and restaurants. The rooms were nice, the staff is nice and helpful and there were good activities during the day and also nice entertainment in the evenings with kareoke and music. Highly recommended!

A nice hotel near to the beach. Very clean, Excellent staff very friendly and helpful. Good access to the motorway if you want to see more of the island. Only downside a bit far away from main areas for entertainment, restaurants and bars.

We thank Relaxia for the hotel experience we provided, everything was superlative, for a budget hotel, cleaning was always done on time, every day everything was sparkling in the room, even when we returned from breakfast we found a very nice bow on the bed, the food was very good and varied, everyone can choose what they eat at the buffet, it's for all tastes! The view from the 7th floor regardless of which side the apartment is on is superb! The hotel also honors us with 2 elevators, which is very good because there are a lot of steps to climb in Gran Canaria, on the cliff area that connects several extraordinarily well-maintained and clean beaches, with fine sand and diverse in color from one beach to another! The location of the hotel is exceptional, very close to important tourist attractions such as the Dunes of Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles! Overall everything was great, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts and we will definitely come back, an unforgettable experience!

Great place, ideal location for exploring the island. Located right next to beautiful beaches and dunes. Clean rooms (but definitely need to be refreshed, especially the bathroom), good food (unfortunately there are a lot of people in the restaurant, but the staff usually keeps up with adding food), very nice service. I received champagne for my birthday - a very nice gesture for which I am very grateful! :) Animation and hotel rather for older people or those who like peace, so perfect for us! :) I especially recommend rooms with an ocean view (you can't hear the street, which is what we were afraid of - you can only hear the sound of the ocean!). We paid a symbolic amount for a better room and got a room on the top floor and the view was amazing! As for a budget hotel, we are very pleasantly surprised! Thank you again! :)

Stayed here for a week from 7.5.25 Hotel staff excellent ,pool and gardens very nice and well kept Buffet style breakfast and dinner very good with plenty of choice Big shout out to the entertainment staff who kept everyone amused with their silly games poolside and daily demonstrations. Only criticism was the main bar area being very basic and cocktails pre mixed out of a dispenser. All in all very pleasurable stay

Hotel is close to the beach and amenities, lovely view from beach rooms. Staff are friendly and were helpful. There is no menu for drinks and there can be quite a queue at busy dinner times. Hot food choices at dinner are a bit limited.

It's been about 8 years since we last came to the gran canaria princess and was expecting the same great experience. It was around 11.15pm when we arrived and as we walked into our room, we was greeted by very loud music playing from the entertainment outside. This finished at 11.30pm. We expected to have a good night's sleep but people banging doors and shouting along the corridors kept us awake for most of it. It was only for one night and after that it improved. The beds are comfy and the showers are the best we've ever had. Air conditioning was good but sometimes too cold. Food was OK but not as good as our last stay. Plenty of sun loungers and no saving of them. Not many cocktails available for all inclusive people and the ones there were, were pre made and mostly ice. Over all a very enjoyable holiday

We have just had seven glorious nights at The GC Princess. The room was fabulous with the comfiest of beds!! Cleaned everyday. The pool area was stunning. Food was as ok as it can be, always prefer freshly cooked food but there was a great selection each day. Reception staff were always so smiley and helpful. Great location. 25 min to the seafront. Couple of euros to the Yumbo/Cita district for the evening. Will defo come back if we return to GC and happy to highly recommend Gracias Gran Canaria Princess xx

Great hotel about 15 mins walk to the beach and Yumbo Centre. Rooms are a good size bed was massive and the cleaners are great and very friendly. We thought all the staff were excellent very friendly and helpfull. Hotel was spotless pool area very nice with some traffic noise from road behind the hotel but not too bad. Resturant is very good and the staff are great making the dinning experience very nice , plenty of food choice only critism is food could be hotter . Would definitely stay here again .

I stayed here after being a massive fan of their sister hotel the Maspalomas Princess and wanting to try another Princess hotel. Our main stand out from the trip was how accommodating the staff were when we got placed next door to some very troublesome guests. They moved us to another room the next day without any fuss and we really appreciated this. Lovely modern hotel with a really nice pool area. We really enjoyed the entertainment variety, the extras like the sauna and jacuzzis not usually found in resorts and the good variety buffet. About a 20 minute walk down the beach but good distance to some local restaurants. Only improvement could be the air con in the room (we stayed in two rooms after getting moved and both was equally really weak) this made nights very hot. And the only other thing was the cleaners started at 8:30 which is great however they're incredibly noisy outside the rooms , shouting to eachother down the corridors etc and although 8:30 isn't the crack of dawn , after working hard at home we would of appreciated a few lie ins which were impossible! Otherwise a really great hotel and really good price. Thank you!

We have just got home. We were all inclusive. What can I say. The hotel was very clean throughout. Rooms were cleaned everyday. Hotel staff were very polite and helpful. Food was to a good standard with plenty of choice. The only two things that need improving in the hotel is the air conditioning. It works but isn't strong enough, barely feel that it is on. The other is the lifts. One was broken down which made it really hard for our family due to the numbers of guests using them. Spent a long time just waiting for a lift. We enjoyed our holiday and would visit again, just hope these are improved by our next visit. Thank you

Great hotel located 10 minutes walking from the boulevard. Rooms were cleaned every day which is super! The food was amazing, much variety and the staff is working hard to keep everything fresh and clean in the restaurant. The bar for drinks has alot of variety, in the evening it can take a bit longer for you to order your drink but its worth the wait! Overall very good hotel for a great price!

Every time I have stayed at the hotel (and there have been several) I always feel like I have made the right choice (again). It continues to deliver quality service....from the moment of reception, cleaning, food, customer service, etc. I must say a big THANKS to all the professionals working there. The stay exceeded what I expected. From the moment I got there the staff were helpful and the vibe relaxed, it definitely felt like a haven of peace in a developed area (not that the area was too crazy that time of year). The member of staff who checked me in (I believe her name was Sara) then proceeded to answer a million and one of my silly questions throughout the week with patience and really help me plan getting around the island, as well as recommended great local places to eat outside the restaurant, as well as cool places to visit that locals know about, can't thank them enough for all that. The rest of the staff from the pool caretaker/lifeguard to the staff working in the restaurant were so attentive and pleasant they even remembered my order from the day before (can't remember the gentleman who served me each day but he was amazing also the food is great), truly they were a pleasure, the staff are simply the best. The actual hotel is great, the rooms are really spacious and comfortable and the balcony is a great extra. The cleaning staff do a great job keeping it all spick and span. The pool areas are great, there are a range of pools and areas to enjoy lounging. The gym is pretty good and the masseuse is fantastic. Plus the hotel is like a 5 minute walk from the beach, basically I can't fault it from my perspective.

I booked this place for a quick getaway as a solo traveller. Check-in was easy but the doors to the room were very heavy so I thought I was locked out (you need a good push). My room was relatively small but as I was alone it was okay, I can imagine two people may trip over each other if shared. There were Molton Brown products available in the bathroom: shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, bar soap. There were towels and beach towels, robes and slippers. Unfortunately there was no remote in my room to use the TV but I didn't bother to alert hotel staff as I wasn't going to use it anyway. Breakfast was a semi-buffet but a la carte hot items. You need to be specific as to quantities otherwise they will bring you only one of what you asked for. The service at the pool bar was very slow. I ordered a cocktail, two people arrived at the bar after me and they were both served and billed settled before the gentleman at the bar informed me that he couldn't make my cocktail and I had to order another one. This was highly frustrating after waiting about 15 minutes. The food was average, I would personally recommend going to nearby restaurants at the beach for tastier food at a fraction of the price The location was great and had all I needed nearby. Overall I would have appreciated it to be adequately staff. The staff I did encounter were all lovely

Love, love, love this hotel! If you want to chill then this is definitely the place to be! Staff are wonderful! Rooms are gorgeous and the overall ambiance is perfect! Lots of lovely art. Ate the breakfast which was wonderful and a great range of hot dishes. Enjoyed lunch at the bar! The food was really tasty. Just a tiny moan about the gym which looked as if it had had a flood recently and needed a bit of attention! Maybe I am being a bit picky as I used it everyday!

Have had an amazing short stay at the Bohemia suits, end of June. We went for my sister's birthday for a weekend getaway, & got delicious food, good ambiance, attentive staff both at the reception and at the restaurants. Delicious Breakfast selection, and diverse menu for the dinner at the 360 Restaurant, the cocktails were amazing, would definitely recommend! They have been attentive enough and prepared a nice sweet surprise for her in the room which was absolutely delicious! Easy walk down to the ocean, and to the Mas Palomas Dunes. From our balcony we had views of both which were stunning! Highly recommended!

Loved every moment at Bohemia Suites & Spa! The hotel staff were so friendly, helpful and kind! The location was walkable to the beach and Yumbo entertainment center! The room had a stunning view and was very quiet! We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast at the rooftop restaurant. The hotel even surprised us with a tasty chocolate cake in the room for my birthday! Can’t wait to return!

Great second stay at Bohemia. The whole week there was fabulous. All of the staff greeted us with smiles every day and went out of their way to help when needed. An extra thank you to the breakfast team, they were the icing on the cake. Will definitely look to go back soon.

Our second time staying at Bohemia and it did not disappoint. The location is perfect for getting around around and views from the rooftop are stunning. Really comfortable rooms and the facilities are exactly what you would expect from a luxury stay.

The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The staff are helpful, friendly, and always smiling. As for the food — absolutely excellent! The buffet will satisfy even the most demanding guests, and the meals served three times a day are really tasty and varied. A special mention goes to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Anna🫶🏻from Poland, the animator – an ambitious, energetic, and kind young woman who runs great activities for both children and adults. She speaks several languages, is very athletic, and creates a fantastic atmosphere – thanks to her, it’s simply impossible to get bored at the hotel. The hotel is in a very convenient location – everything is close by. There’s a small shopping center, a roundabout, and bus stops (both free and regular buses) nearby, with easy connections to various places, such as Pirates Beach. We’ve been to the island several times before — even with our dog. He was absolutely thrilled, his little face full of joy! 🐾 Such beautiful memories, because this place truly has something special — a warm, friendly atmosphere that even pets can feel. The only downside is that the area has changed a bit after the pandemic. It used to be full of life, with lots of boutiques and shops offering great variety. Now, unfortunately, many stalls in the Yumbo Center are closed, and you can feel that the vibe isn’t quite the same. It’s a pity, because a few years ago this place had incredible energy. Despite that, the hotel still maintains a very high standard and is a great place to relax and unwind.

(We stayed in room 250) we were here for a week, and we absolutely enjoyed it. We chose this hotel mostly for the children’s activities. Our 2 year old daughter had an amazing time. Food was good, there was a big variety. Our room was clean. Staff is friendly. Location is good: close to the beach and dunes. Super market was just across the street. Animation throughout the day and at night was great, we highly recommend to stay here with chirldren, they will definitely have a great time!

We gad a great time at Abora Catarina. Great family hotel great water park for children. Food was ok, staff super friendly and helpful. Taxi from hotel to beach was only 6€. I think the only issue was that there was only 1 lift available to go down from reception to pool/restaurant area so long traffic to get a lift if you have prams and babies. But overall we had an amazing holiday. Thank you!

Room 209 stayed here as a single parent. Was a bit gutted that we were put in the furthest block away from everything. The hotel is one long strip and I’ve walked miles everyday to the reception, the pools, the kids pools. The room is big and spacious. And a lovely view of the hotel riu. No issues with the room, although a few bits need updated. I had read in a previous review that the shower temperature is temperamental. And boy it is. You cannot get an even temperature for long and can be shocked within seconds with boiling or cold water. Food is ok. I found the food not too bad but kids food is always pizza, plain pasta choice of bolognaise sauce or tomato sauce. In the 9 days we stayed here - there was chicken nuggets once. My child lived off the ham burgers (not beef) and the hotdogs from the pool section.and we did eat out a few times. The good bits. The reception staff, the bar staff, the waiting on staff. Even the cleaning staff were lovely. Most had a smile on their face. Particular mention to I think it Cruz? Dining staff lovely lovely man. Kids pool was ace, although missing a trick with it being 1.4m deep when kids want to play ball. And they’re too small for the baby pool. Pour yourself drinks is a genius idea. The alcohol on offer was not really for me, although being here as a single parent, I didn’t drink very much anyway. It’s very flat in this area and after having a trip down to the beach provided by the hotel courtesy bus we are glad we are in this area. Great for local bus with the bus stop at the top end of the hotel but those drivers can be awful. I was shouted at by a driver for trying to bring an inflatable on board (he didn’t speak English and I didn’t speak Spanish especially someone shouting at me which led to a huge miss commmunication. I had it snatched out of my hand whilst almost in tears. He let me pay to get on, nothing more was said and when it came to my stop he wouldn’t stop the bus. Other people had to intervene and we had to walk 15 mins back to the hotel. A complaint has gone into the local bus service about this and this is nothing to do with the hotel. Just a warning for anyone using the local bus service. We’ve had an enjoyable holiday.

We stayed for a week, with young children and had a wonderfull time! Plenty of tasty food and drinks, for adults and children. The bus takes you to the beach and back for free. We stayed in room 325, in a family room with cute bed sheets for the kids. Great chance that we will come back next year.

Had a great holiday at the Abora Catarina Hotel. Our first time here with our two young children and we stayed in room 332. Hotel was very clean with our room being made up daily. Food was good and catered to all our needs. However, the highlight was definitely the kids pool area with it's slides. Would absolutely come back 100%.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! A huge thank you for the amazing room upgrade with a jacuzzi – it made our stay truly special. Everything was perfect: the hotel is beautiful, the staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful, and the location couldn’t be better. I recently stayed at Servatur Waikiki and had such a fantastic experience that I felt it truly deserved a special mention. From start to finish, everything about the stay was smooth, friendly, and full of positive energy. The rooms were big, bright, and spacious — exactly what you want when you’re on holiday. They were kept spotless throughout our stay, with plenty of space for luggage and a comfortable bed that made it easy to relax after a day in the sun. The whole hotel has a lovely, lively feel to it, but it’s also clean, well-kept, and very organized. Now, let’s talk about the staff, because they honestly made the trip unforgettable. At the bar, Diego was absolutely brilliant — always friendly, always smiling, and always ready to serve up a great drink. His cocktails were delicious, and he had such a welcoming personality that made everyone feel included. He’s one of those people who can brighten your day just by saying hello. But the main star of the show — without a doubt — was Pepe in the restaurant. What an incredible person! Every single day, Pepe would walk around the restaurant with the biggest, warmest smile on his face. He greeted every guest like an old friend, always full of joy, laughter, and genuine happiness. You could tell he truly loves his job and takes pride in making people feel welcome. Pepe didn’t just serve food — he created an atmosphere. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you could always hear him cheerfully chatting, laughing with guests, and spreading good energy everywhere he went. Even when the restaurant was busy, Pepe made time for everyone. He noticed the little details, remembered faces, and always made sure people were happy. You can’t help but smile when he’s around — his positivity is absolutely infectious! Seeing Pepe each day became something we all looked forward to. He’s the kind of person who turns a good holiday into a great one. His joy is genuine, his energy is endless, and he makes the restaurant feel more like a big family gathering than a hotel dining room. People like him are what make a place truly special. Overall, Servatur Waikiki is a wonderful hotel with great facilities, comfortable rooms, and an incredible team. But it’s the people — especially Pepe and Diego — who make it shine. I can’t thank them enough for making my stay so memorable. This is our second time staying here, I enjoyed our last holiday but this time I felt things had improved further. Staff were much more friendlier, paticularly isabel in the restaurant who was our waitress most days. Our room.was sufficient and kept clean. A good selection at meal times and plenty to drink, I really enjoyed the fact you could help your self to hot & cold drinks. The pool was lovely and always plenty of sun loungers. No issues and we hope to be back in February. Thank you for a great holiday.

Quite a good experience! My room was cleaned amazingly good every single day, thanks to Celeste! 🫶🏽 I stayed on the top floor, with an nice view at the pool. Also, the food is pretty ok, but not perfect. That could be improved a little bit. I didn't have any issues with my allergies though 👏 Bar options are good, but the Plus option for 18€ per day could be very handy if you like to drink premium brands and/or cocktails. The standard drinks were fair, but I didn't like it myself. Props for serving Coca-Cola etc.! Entertainment is pretty fun and the gym was nice, not large but enough equipment to do a very nice session. Most of the time, all personell were very friendly and willing to help ☺️ I did ran into an issue where I got the wrong room the first time, 30minutes later I got assigned the right room. That is my only big complaint.

Just returned from our 2nd time visiting. 1st time as a couple, this time around took family including 2 toddlers. All had a great time. Rooms cleaned daily, cleaners very polite and friendly. Beds comfy. Lots to keep the children entertained. Food was great, I am celiac and managed to find enough selection each meal time. Most staff are happy and friendly. Special mention to Ana in the restaurant who went the extra mile each day, she was fantastic with the kids and they looked for her daily. She is an asset to your team! Very friendly entertainment team. Was nice to see some familiar faces from our first visit. Overall a great hotel, team and atmophere. We will be back.

I'm not the most experienced traveller so I can only base my review on my limited knowledge. That being said, I have a great time here at Waikiki. The staff are really friendly and very helpful, particularly if you're somewhat unsure of what you're doing when on holiday. The reception staff were great helping us with trips and excursions, doing all the booking for us, and being very clear about what was what. There's regular free busses to the local beaches, supplied by the hotel, but it's not overly far down to the nearby Playa del Inglés if you want to walk. The entertainment and activities each day/night are fun. The food is nice, well cooked and there's lots of it. It's mostly the same day after day, with a bit of variety occasionally. This would be my only quibble, a bit of change would have been welcome. The rooms are nice, fresh and cleaned everyday. I've really enjoyed my time at the hotel 👍😊

Great hotel, entertainment show room downstairs didnt seem to have anything on, but singers by pool bar excellent. Food good, service good, good sunbeds l, needs more parasols and couldn't get room extension even for disabled guest. Poor. Great wheelchair access apart from into and out of hotel which has ramp opposite some stairs so be warned. All in all good hotel, but I would have preferred it nearer to beach so location is slight drawback.

Spent October half term there (aka Halloween week!) 1. Animacion team. THE BEST! My boys 5+6) loved them! From daytime activities, to kids club, to mini disco- they were all just amazing and by far best (consistently). The effort put in for Halloween week was just exceptional! 2 Pools. Kept clean and tidy. Splash park was fun but water only comes on every hour for a little bit so my boys lost interest and opted for the main pool instead. 3. Food. Lots of choice and food was very nice. My youngest has severe fish allergy and they catered for him which was great! 4. Rooms. Meh! They were very clean and good size but not the most comfortable beds or pillows. Managed for the week though 5. Bar. Wider selection of drinks available and also self serve of hot drinks and soft drinks which helped with not having to wait ages for drinks. We upgraded to AI plus on last day .. well worth it and will do this next time for full holiday!! 6. Location. We opted for this hotel party due to location/ distance from airport. Whilst surrounding area isn't that nice, the beach is walking distance (downhill). All in all we had a lovely holiday and will be looking to rebook for Oct half term again!!

We're here now and are very happy with the hotel. The room is nice and kept clean and tidy and the animation team do a great job of keeping everyone entertained. I do think the entertainment needs to go on for longer. The food is nice with quite a bit of choice but it can have days were the choice isn't as good. We upgraded to the premium drinks which worked out cheaper than doing with jet2. The cocktails are nice but for some reason they wouldn't let us have the Martinis even though they are the same price as the others and it doesn't mention anywhere in the app that we can't. Overall though we were happy and would come back again.

Excellent value for money!!! The hotel is spotless, and the room cleaning is outstanding. The food is delicious and really caters to all tastes (even mine, and I’m quite picky). Everything works perfectly, and the staff are truly exceptional, always going above and beyond to ensure guests have the best stay. My only suggestion would be to add more sunbeds and umbrellas by the pool. I definitely intend to come back. Congratulations to the whole team for such a high-quality service 👏

Just returned from a weeks stay here with my partner and we have no complaints. We had a deluxe double room with sea view which was plenty big enough, had a fridge, coffee machine, robes and slippers. Beautiful view over to the sea with a nice quiet location Everywhere was always clean and fresh All of the staff at the hotel were friendly, smiling and helpful if we needed them. We can’t comment on the entertainment team as we didn’t watch any but we could hear it some nights and it sounded like everyone was having a good time. The food for us was plentiful but we do eat a lot of salad and fruits but always saw pizza, pasta, meat, fish and fresh breads available, the deserts always looked scrummy but we managed to resist for the week. We didn’t use the snack bars but they were always full up with plenty of food for people to choose. Always plenty of drinks to choose from throughout the day, We always managed to find a sun lounger without the need to reserve one (we did only stay by the pool three times though and it’s out of school holiday season) so can’t comment on busier times through the year. On our checkout day we were allowed to keep our all inclusive bands until we left and just before we left we were offered a shower room to freshen up and change in which was nice and refreshing after a hot day in the sun. All in all we were pleased with our stay we couldn’t ask for anything more. We will definitely return again when in the area

Awesome stay. It's a 3star hotel, if you want 5star, book a 5star. This hotel does what it needs. Staff are great, animation team are awesome. They try their best... but if you want 5star entertainment... book a 5star hotel. Very child friendly... good selection of food. If you want premium drinks then upgrade... if not thrn you will be fine with what's on offer.. would i come back? Yes, but I want to see the world!

We had a great stay at this hotel. Our room was lovely & clean. The view was stunning from the top floor. There were three pools to choose from, and we really enjoyed the sun loungers on the raised decking overlooking the main pool. All inclusive food was a bit hit & miss. Some nights we really enjoyed it, especially the Thai/Chinese themed night. If there's anything the hotel doesn't have, there's a Spar down the road which is about a 5 minute walk.

I am staying in this hotel now. What I like is that the place is clean, the food is not bad, but there is not enough of loungers, people are leaving their stuff to reserve them and if you don't do that you end with no place. We got a room on the corner with communal terrace and it's basically not possible to sit there as you're close to the trash bins and the smell is horrible... Also our daughter is autistic and we need to sit outside with her to be able to eat at all and the waiter told us we can't sit at the only available table and when I asked him to find me the other available place outside he said he didn't understand me. In general the service is nice, but they could be more flexible. We're not the people that would go and argue so we're try to enjoy the visit, but definitely will not come back. The place needs renovation too as it is outdated and not in a good shape. Also some milk alternatives for the coffee would be an advantage. The sandwiches available in the fridge could improve too. We bought all inclusive, but there is no water or drinks in the fridge, but you can go to the lobby to get some if you don't have small kids.

AMAZING!! We stayed on the 18/09/25 for 4 nights a long weekend and we could honestly not fault the place. The staff friendly and helpful, food perfect! Great selection and the drinks was arguably the best all inclusive drinks we have had well worth the upgrade to premium. Location was great as it was far enough away that you got peace but a walk or small taxi ride you could head out for a great night out. We came as an adult party but we would definitely return with the kids.

It was ok been to nicer hotels. There was nothing going on in the Evening no entertainment at all. So luckily we hired a car to get out. If you can't get out it would have been so boring as it's not close to anything. The rooms need some updating and would be nice if there were tea and coffee facilities in the room. Towels got changed every day bedding was the same all week no change at all. Wouldn't rush back anytime soon.

The rooms are awful, in need of a serious revamp, our room smelt of damp, there were lots of ants, paint crumbling off the damp walls, dark & dingy rooms no air con in the bedroom. Very dated. Nowhere near enough sunbeds around the pool and food in the resturant was terrible. The hotel is in the middle of nowhere but they do have a free shuttle bus into Maspalomas. Don't be fooled by the the outdoor pictures advertising this place! The pool was freezing and in need of repair.

Nice hotel area, swimming pool, good food and very good service. Not really much to do for kids except swimming pool. They had extend are check out to 1pm instead 11am and we could use restaurant and pool till our coach to airport came( 8pm).

My 2nd time here, but this time i brought my husband n my dad severe dementia, slzchemeirs, parkinsons and blind and his birthday, there was nothing i needed, i got birthday cake delivered 4 my husband & dad sharing the same birthdays, the staff work like they are being oaid million pound per hour, adrian the manager you lead by example you are hands on which your staff reflect you. Thank to all isabel, paco, carlos thank u making my holiday special, memories that will last forever

If we visit Gran Canaria once again, we will definitely stay here again. :) It's good to rent a car, as it's quite far from beaches and attractions.

In January 2024, my wife, my daughter, and I stayed at this hotel for the first time, and we were so impressed that we returned in January 2025. The hotel has a quiet and cozy atmosphere, and the staff is exceptionally friendly, attentive, and customer-oriented. One of the highlights was the fantastic buffet: it is incredibly diverse, large, and varied. The fruit selection was especially impressive and a standout feature! As vegans, we found plenty of options and always felt well catered to. The prices for food and drinks were also very reasonable and affordable. The hotel is family-friendly, has a beautiful pool, and delighted us with an entertaining evening program featuring different artists every night. However, there were some changes compared to 2024 that we found disappointing: During breakfast in 2024, there was a fresh orange juice machine where guests could press their own juice—a real highlight! In 2025, this was replaced by a machine serving artificial, heavily diluted orange juice, which was quite disappointing. Another suggestion would be to include vegan meat substitutes, such as tofu, as part of the offerings. We had to buy these from a supermarket and bring them to our meals, which was a bit inconvenient. The hotel itself could also use some renovations in certain areas. In our room, there were noticeable damages, such as a broken door frame, which detracted from the overall appearance. The gym area, in particular, would benefit from updated equipment and improvements.

It is really good located, the cleaning was really ok, and the staff was really really friendly. Especially a younger girl, Ada i think, that was the sweetest receptionist i ever experienced. We paid pretty much for staying there, so for the price level the quality was not quite fitting. So just lower the price some, so it fits with the standard, then it is a good offer.

Stayed here for 10 days in October, ideal location for the Yumbo centre and a 15 minute walk to the beach. The room was cleaned daily, it was basic but did the job. The decor was a little tired, but that didn`t bother me as i did not come on holiday to study the paintwork! The pool area was nice and clean. Wifi seemed ok too.

Great location but huge disappointment. A very rundown hotel, badly in need of a refurb. Looks more like a hostel than a hotel. TV doesn’t work at all, now on day 3 & waiting for an engineer. The “high speed” wifi is so slow it’s virtually unusable. Upgraded from a room to an apartment. Uncomfortable furniture (sofa & beds) . Took 1 look at the breakfast buffet & opted against paying extra. Nice pool area. Good location for the Yumbo Centre night life. Paid 1600 euros for a week it can hardly be described as good value. Definitely not luxury by any kind of description. Eventually changed room but new room as tatty as first room.

Had a great week from 3/6/25 very impressed basic suite but extremely clean and the staff including cleaner and receptionist were amazing. Had the advantage of speaking Spanish so could converse with everyone. Highly recommend and will stay again soon

The Ritual is a good hotel. Reception staff are really nice and helpful. The rooms are cleaned to a high standard and has good air-con and Wi-Fi. The pool is spotless and a good size. Very close to the Yumbo. I didn’t have an issue with noise. The hotel across the road made more noise with their entertainment on the odd occasion. The Ritual does need a little lick of paint here and there. And the young guy who opens up the cafe/restaurant in the mornings could be a little more welcoming and friendly. However, all in all my stay was pleasant & I’d come back & wish them all my best.

Now we are talking. Back at Ritual Maspalomas, which is located in Playa del Inglés, do not let the name fool you. Excellent location, great staff, nice atmosphere. Tried a rival hotel around the corner recently and Ritual wins hands down. Thanks for everyone, you feel at home checking in here. Great bar, friendly Front Desk, nice pool area and a naturist solarium and at crawling distance to the Yumbo. Love this hotel.

Spent few days here after having to change hotels. Very friendly staff, spotlessly clean, lovely atmosphere. Great pool. Being refurbished later in the year.

My husband and I stayed there in May for 10 days. The description and photos were a complete misleading. Total lies. The room was shabby and the electric wires and sockets were very dangerous and coming off the walls. Thank god we didn't take our grandchild along. It was very dangerous. The food left alot to be desired Breakfast was fine but the evening meals were more or less the same everyday. You had to pay for drinks including water. The corridors were very dated. The pool was nice but I would never go back again as the room we stayed in was obviously not updated. Basic cutlery, not fit for self catering.

Very friendly and helpful staff, a always smiling lady at the pool bar, and delicious breakfasts. The hotel was very peaceful and quiet. You could hear the music from the Cita Center, but we knew that because the hotel is on a main street. Our room, room 320, unfortunately, is remembered by Rey Carlos himself. The apartment definitely needs a complete renovation, especially replacing the beds and the sofa, which was so dirty that there were food remnants and someone's earrings under the pillows. We know the hotel has renovated rooms; we only stayed for four days, so I didn't want to move anymore. Next time I book a stay at this hotel, I definitely won't accept an apartment of this standard. When we booked the hotel, there were nice pictures of the room – newly renovated rooms. But when we arrived, we were given a room that has not been renovated. The beds are hard, the fridge didn’t work, and the AC isn’t working either. The ceiling fan doesn’t work when the light is turned off. They say they’ve been in to fix it, but it’s still the same. We’ve contacted Hotels.com, but they’re not helping either. They say they will fix it and change the room, but that they can’t get in touch with the hotel staff. The hotel staff says they haven’t received any calls from anyone and that we need to contact Hotels in order to do something about the issue. Overall, very poor rooms that are not renovated. Very disappointed that what I booked didn’t match what I got. I recommend checking thoroughly before booking so you don’t end up with an old room. I haven’t received any help or compensation from either the hotel or Hotels.com. I’ve now stayed here for 2 days and have 7 days left. I’ve been in contact with both of them for the past 2 days and have spent many hours of my trip trying to reach both the hotel and Hotels.com, but still no help or compensation. And now I’m stuck with an old, unrenovated room — no working AC, no functioning fridge, and hard beds.

This hotel has provided one of the worst experiences we have ever had. We stayed here for eight days, and not once was the room properly cleaned. On the only day the cleaner came, she took the blanket from our bed. When we asked about it, we were told it was in the laundry and that there was no replacement, forcing us to sleep without a blanket. Despite multiple requests for cleaning, the only thing they did was make the bed – no vacuuming, no bathroom cleaning, nothing. We asked if they could wash the dishes, since there was no dish soap or brush provided. They said it was “not included,” so we had to go out and buy these ourselves. We even requested a knife to cut a watermelon we had bought, but they didn’t have one. The room we were given was filthy and nothing like what we booked – dirty surfaces, unpleasant smell, and clear signs of neglect. The service is unprofessional, the facilities are poorly maintained, and the attitude towards guests is unacceptable. We strongly advise everyone to avoid this hotel at all costs.

Stayed for 10 nights . Great location and we were in an upgraded room on 2nd floor. Couldn't fault it. Staff were excellent especially Marianna at the pool bar. Only small gripe is no proper bar, except in centre of pool which was a bit small. But that's just me. Will definitely stay again cheers . Even the local wildlife was friendly

Lovely hotel, a little bit dated but clean & comfy to use as our base. Cleaners were in every day! Fabulous pool & the area was cleaned every morning but a happy whistling cleaner, lovely pool bar with a nice selection of drinks & light snacks. Only had breakfast on the one morning which was very tasty, the coffee was delicious as was the selection of juices. It's located in a quiet enough area but only cost just over €5 for a taxi to the English beach!

I was quite hesitant about this hotel based on the heavy number of negative reviews, but having visited I really must say that I can't agree with the opinions of a lot of people reviewing this place Yes, the building itself is a little dated and perhaps needs a bit of a refresh especially the frontage painting and the corridors , however the pool area, reception, restaurant area and the rooms (basing this on a newer room) are absolutely fine for this price bracket. They won't blow you away with luxury but as a base for a week in GC they suited us perfectly - very spacious, well-equipped and clean. Air con was powerful enough to make the room actually cold if left on enough. Cleaning/towels/bedding was done every day and we certainly had no issues with these during our stay Breakfast was fine, maybe the English hot food offerings are a little uninspiring but go for the veg, fruit, meats and cheese, breads etc. and everything is fresh and tasty. We didn't have the evening meal so cannot comment Pool area is well looked after, with a little bar accessible by a bridge and with seating both on the 'island' and around the pool, and adequate sunbeds for use Location is great, within easy walking reach of the dune, Yumbo Centrum, and Playa Ingles - and right behind is the 'Cita' centre of shops/bars/restaurants. Nearby there are also several Italian/Indian/Mediterranean restaurants as well as others to cater for most palates 24-hour reception is always a bonus, checkout at midday was a nice touch as well - late checkout is available right up until 8PM if you're willing to pay. All the staff we met were polite and helpful, never abrupt or rude as some have said Would recommend, and will stay again if and when we're back in Gran Canaria

No improvement so far I am right now at hotel but to be honest I am disappointed so much in restaurant feels like at pool no rules no trousers so messed. Food only OK some days I didn't find what to eat I eat everything but I like good and tasty food but this wasn't for me. Everything needs to pay exstra even if you are all inclusive.Only Some drinks like evrywere including. Inside no swimming pool. they have teniso courts but need to pay exstra I booked tru easyjet but they didn't mention that. Staff it looks like not happy with the work some of them hard to see a smile. It was my birthday but from hotel wasn't any greeting even when I mentioned to them. Outside swimming pool to small for that king of big hotel. Entertaining yes we saw much better we wasn't enjoying. In the rooms probably we saw first time empty fridge nice to have something when you are all inclusive. And hotel not that posh nothing to enjoy.

Great hotel with friendly staff, clean areas, always available sunbeds, great gym and good food options for everyone (we had AI). We liked the salt water pool and the music around the pool area! The Thalasso-spa was beautiful! Would definitely recommend a visit! Things that need improvement: - Check-in took 50 min for us. Never ever happened before. They also gave us double bed instead of two single beds even though we put in a request over 9 months ago. The staff seemed really annoyed after this check-in (and we got zero compensation!) - They didn't clean our room on the first day, no new towels or water. We had to complain in the reception and they did a "fast-cleaning" while we sat on the balcony (no compensation!). - Drinks came out of a automatic machine and tasted really concentrated and bad, so we ordered mixers with alcohol separately instead. - Paper cups by the pool were really annoying and don't feel great for the environment. Maybe use hard plastic instead? - Evening entertainment were not great, we enjoyed one night out of five. - Kids show should start earlier, sitting outside for dinner is a no go, unless you wanna eat while listening to loud kids music.. - The serving staff in the restaurant were hard to get attention from. Especially when you need to order drinks to get any. No self-serving. Overall a great hotel with potential to get even better! We would come back!

So positives: Some genuinely helpful staff, including the chef who was trying to help us as vegetarians. Cleaning staff were very good Room was spacious and well proportioned, also clean. Negatives: All inclusive is not actually all inclusive. There's loads of things that are not included. The staff try their best to give as little drink as possible. One member of staff at the bar told me they don't know how to make certain drinks. Why are they working the bar then? They also try their hardest to extract as much fees in extras as possible. They don't provide irons as they want guests to use their ironing service. Syro at reception is very rude in my opinion. You can't use the rooftop bar/pool area as it's an additional extra A fair few drinks are not part of all inclusive A fair few snack items are also not part of all inclusive They have a games room but every single game, you have to pay for as extras. There's a couple of pools but there was no life guard at the kids pool. It's also exceptionally salty (the water) and not enjoyable. They have a fairly large water slide, which nobody mans. The buffet food is basically the exact same stuff just recycled. The juices at breakfast aren't fresh, it's just from concentrate. The plates are not always clean and often found to be dirty. This is definitely not a 4 star. It's an average 3 star. My feedback would be: maybe try to focus on giving your guests as good an experience as possible and maybe try actually listening to the feedback in the reviews. Don't give generic responses to each review. How about actually addressing the points I've raised?

Sadly, this hotel just doesn’t live up to expectations. Whether it was Jet2 mis-advertising or simply bad timing, it definitely isn’t 4-star worthy. The food was pretty laughable – the buffet selection was dire and everything was served cold. Our sheets were only changed once during the week despite daily cleaning, which didn’t feel very 4-star either. I also later read other reviews saying some rooms weren’t cleaned at all, so this seems to be a wider issue. The communal areas, including the lobby, have no air conditioning which made them very uncomfortable to spend time in. On top of that, the noise levels throughout the hotel were relentless. Music and announcements blasted around the pool all the way until 11:30pm, and the sound was unavoidable because of the sheer volume they keep their speakers at. Even during dinner, the live performances were often so loud you couldn’t comfortably hold a conversation across the table. The hotel would really benefit from turning it down a few notches. Entertainment overall was very child-focused and honestly poor, while the pool area was far too loud to be relaxing. On top of this, access to the adults-only pool came with an extra charge that wasn’t mentioned anywhere in the description – another frustrating surprise. The rooms are large and spacious but quite basic. On the plus side, the location is fantastic for walks, shops, and restaurants, and the hotel’s shuttle bus was genuinely one of the highlights of the stay. Unfortunately, our final bill was also miscalculated, with extras massively inflated. We chose not to argue at the time, but it left a bitter taste at the end of the holiday. Overall, the hotel has potential, but between the poor food, noise, hidden charges, lack of comfort in communal areas, cleaning concerns, and billing issues, it really falls short of a 4-star standard.

Disappointed with the pet policy at this hotel. We stayed for 6 days and were shocked to find out that despite being advertised as “pet-friendly,” our dog was confined to the room the entire time. This was not mentioned anywhere before booking, which is incredibly misleading. A holiday with our dog is meant to be relaxing, not stressful, but he was barking constantly and stressed from being left alone in an unfamiliar place. We bring our dog every year on vacation, and this is the only place where we’ve faced such restrictive rules. If pets aren’t allowed on the premises, don’t claim to be pet-friendly! Please be upfront about your policies so guests aren’t blindsided. We won’t be returning.

This was the most beautiful hotel which is only a 4 star hotel but I believe it deserves to have 5 stars as it has absolutely everything you could ask for. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn’t go all inclusive so we only had breakfast every morning but the Buffett for breakfast was amazing. There were choices for everyone I normally don’t like breakfast buffets but this one had absolutely everything. There was no rush to get sun loungers on our first day we only came down to the pool at 11:30 and there was still plenty of sun loungers to choose from. I will definitely be staying here again as we only stayed for a week and wish we could stay for longer. It is also only a 5 minute walk away from san agustin shopping centre. We also had an option of getting a free shuttle bus down to the beach every day. I could not recommended this hotel enough it caters to all your needs.

We have just got home from our stay here and its fair to say we where disappointed. We arrived around about 10pm and the reception told us we could go to the restaurant and get some snacks with it being late at night and not eaten. When we went down to the restaurant the waiter looked at us funny and told us there was nothing left. We have stayed in other hotels where they have left salads and sandwiches in the fridges for late arrivals. On the day we where due to leave we weren't due to be picked up till 7pm on the night but they told us we weren't allowed to have any tea as our all inclusive finished at 6pm that day which in my opinion was unfair as we didn't get to eat the night we arrived due to nothing being left. I can't fault the staff and the entertainment but the all inclusive food was a complete let down. The week we stayed here I cant say we had a hot meal let alone a lukewarm one. The food was cold, soggy and overall not 4*. We stayed in a 3* last year and it was so much nicer and hotter there. We stayed all inclusive plus and honestly not sure why they say all inclusive 'plus' as there was lots of drinks and snacks on the menu that we would of had to pay for. The area of the hotel is very poor as there is not much around other than a small shopping centre at the bottom of the bank. We will not be coming back to this hotel and for the overall holiday to be over £2,000 for the week we are so disheartened. Stay was 2x Adults 1x 2 year old.

My friend and I holiday together every year. Riu Gran Canaria exceeded our expectations. We prefer a twin room, we were allocated a double, we requested the bed to be split, instead they upgraded us to a better room which was twin, on the 3rd floor. The whole complex is so clean, our room was cleaned daily. Food was plentiful with lots of choice in the buffet for each meal. They do cater for dietary requirements and you only have to ask! Staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful. We attended the Neon party on the Friday night which was such fun, everyone engaged. It wasn’t possible to get a lounger at the infinity pool unless you went down to reserve at 5am, I’m up early and watched people going down as early as 4.30am. There are plenty sun loungers around the various pools, I find it fascinating that as humans we are creatures of habit and once you found a favoured spot by the pool you are determined to have that same spot daily 🙂. We have already decided to return to this hotel same time next year, not something we normally do. Jose, at the bar beside Moka, thank you for the laughs. Our 3rd visit since the refit, and everything still looking great. Rooms are clean and well maintained, water and minibar kept topped up. Gastronomy even better with 'Atlantic' now served a la carte, other themed restaurants are still good and buffet offering hot and fresh. Location is good, not quite 'beach front' but on the promenade and a short walk to shops and sandy beach. Animation a great blend of non-pushy daytime activity and decent evening offerings plus the weekly #riuparty. Will be back again in 2026!

What an amazing hotel, we loved every minute of our stay. The staff are lovely and cannot do enough for you, you have a very hard-working team who keep the place clean and tidy, we had an issue with our bathroom which was resolved immediately. The food was excellent, lots of choice and we really enjoyed visiting the extra 4 restaurants on site. The animation team do a great job in getting everyone involved in the daytime activities, I really enjoyed the aquagym. We cannot wait to come back again, it was our first visit to Gran Canaria but will not be our last, a lovely place to visit.

We have just returned from our 5th stay at the RIU Gran Canaria. We visit at the end of September to celebrate our anniversary. There is seriously nothing not to like about this hotel. The staff are fantastic, always so helpful and very friendly. The buffet offers an outstanding choice of excellent food, whilst the speciality restaurants provide perfect variety over our 7 night stay. We always book the Italian, Asian, Grill and the A La Carte and the quality of food is great. The pool areas are spotless and spacious and we enjoy the adult infinity pool regularly. Add to this the branded drinks throughout the day, the excellent Sports Bar and separate Coffee Bar, the price we paid as RIU class members offered tremendous value. Given the 10 minute stroll into the main town of Maspolomas via the promenade, which offers a shopping centre, restaurants and other bars, you really cannot go wrong by booking a stay here. Highly recommended.

Just returned from a week's stay and the hotel was fabulous. The range and quality of food available was outstanding, by far the best we have experienced in an all inclusive resort. The rooms were excellent and spotlessly clean, although some of the furniture probably needs updating as they were well worn (the chest of drawers for example) but that was a minor criticism. Staff were awesome, and the entertainments team worked so hard everyday. There were plenty of activities to keep everyone occupied during the day, but the only real criticism we have was that the evening entertainment was a little hit and miss. Due to our arrival and departure, we only caught the tail end of the White Party which looked amazing, and we missed the Neon Party unfortunately. The first two nights we had a Spanish Flamenco group and a Tina Turner tribute, which were very good. And then, it sort of went downhill, with the entertainments team performing, which whilst we appreciated the effort, for a 4* hotel, we would have expected more professional artists. There was a sort of Abba tribute, but again, the entertainments team were part of that, and it didn't really work. I don't mean to sound mean, but that was THE only thing that we were a little disappointed in. The day time entertainment in the Sunset bar was awesome though. The pools were lovely, there were plenty of sunbeds, although you did have to get there early(ish) if you wanted a good spot. All in all, a brilliant week in a stunning hotel

Just returned home from a 29 day stay! Originally went out for 11 nights with my husband but my family were coming to the same hotel a week after so thought I’d just extend my stay. After being here for a month I can say the Swim Up Suites are lovely, beautiful rooms (and our cleaner Mina was amazing!) The second room I stayed in was a garden view room, and again, amazing. All the staff, from the cleaners, to the waiters / waitresses, bar staff, entertainment, receptionists, management were all so lovely, nothing was ever too much trouble and everyone was always so polite Highly accessible hotel for anyone with accessibility difficulties, perfect location. Just 10/10!

Just returned from 7 days in this amazing hotel, we were 2 adults and 3 children, we had 2 rooms with a connected door. The room: clean and have a balcony. Nice toiletries and bed are so comfortable. They provide clean towels every day and they refill the mini bar with water, bear and fizzy drinks (all branded, not cheap staff) Food: lots of food to choose from, we had an amazing meal at the steak house, remember to book! The food is fresh, so delicious and great verity. Lots of fresh fruits and nice cakes too. The staff; from the staff in the reception to the staff at the restaurant, everyone is so nice, friendly and helpful. Entertainment: lots of activities to get involved with, make sure you try, great way to keep the kids busy and meet new people too. There is a show every night and a party every Friday night, we had the neon party and it was amazing!!!!!!! Location: literally 5 minutes walk and you in the shopping centre. Great view and if you continue 5 minutes more (just after the light house) you reach a nice sandy beach. Make sure you take water shoes with you. The pool area: 6 pools and you don't have to put a towel before dawn to save your spot. Really there is no need, plenty of beds! We never not had beds, and there were 5 of us. The water is nice and warm. Make sure you get a clean towel every day. The pools are so clean!!! What to do? If you going as a family I recommend the aqua park, make sure you ware water shoes as floor gets really hot. Nice fun for the whole family. Lots of activities out the hotel. Overall: simply the best! From location to food, from facilities to staff, from pools to breakfast, everything was just perfect! 7 days might be too short for us but was enough. Don't look anywhere else, this is really the best hotel and the location is definitely the best on this island. We met lovely people, and mostly we made lovely memories. Enjoy 😊 Big well done to Tana, Kevin, Nicholas from the entertainment team (all were brilliant but I can't remember all their names) Jessica from the restaurant, she is simply amazing! The housekeepers who cleaned our room every day. Spotless. The receptionists who were always happy to help when needed. Jo TUI guy who is so helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you!

Great complex, very clean, very secure and massive pools. Bar and waiting staff seemed very busy. Table service was preferred but even at that wait times to order more drinks could take a long time. Lifeguards were on duty in both pool areas but unfortunately we're not patrolling as expected. Often talking on phone or together in a walkway between pools. Security staff onsite were non stop on patrol which was given piece of mind.

We have just spent a week here as a family of 5 in two of the larger sized bungalows, it is a beautiful place and very well kept by the grounds and maintenance team. The bungalows are well kept, clean towels daily and the maid service is lovely, the ladies are very friendly. Fabulous pools and plenty of sun loungers, we managed to pull a few from the main deck and keep them on our terrace for the week as we don't like crowded areas. The location isn't really close to any main amenities although the onsite supermarket had pretty much everything we needed for breakfast and snacks, the remote location was fine for us as we always hire a car, without one, you wouldn't be able to assess the area well at all. Although there is a taxi rank right outside of the complex if you needed to get anywhere. Just beyond the golf course behind the apartment complex is the start of the infamous sand dunes, which is a must visit for everyone. All staff were very friendly and super helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Lots of rooms don't have aircon in hot weather BUT there is portable ones to rent. It was pretty hot in 30's while we here but with aircon in bedroom was great stay. Here for 2 weeks for my birthday 🎂 well relaxing 12 sept to 26 sept

Me and my partner went here for a 2 week holiday and we absolutely loved it. Not close to much but we were looking for a nice chill quiet holiday. The apartment was amazing the staff were lovely food and drinks would highly recommend going here as we are planning to rebook for next year!! Seems great for kids also!!

Rooms need maintenance.. Kicked out of room early and had to wait about with suitcase and a 3 year old for 8h till transfer arrived. A good 45 mins/ 1h walk from anything. Poor experience wont be back unfortunately.

Fab little vacation. Very clean and tidy resort. Rooms were cleaned frequently with fresh towels and bedding. Spent most of our time at the pool near the restaurant as it was warmer. Lots of sun loungers. Thought out little apartment was fab. Small and compact but worked perfectly full equipped aswell. Location is a bit out there not much to do around. Done the camel rides which is only a 15 Min walk away. Get there nice and early as it gets really busy. Holiday world is only a 20 mins walk or 5 euro in a taxi and is amazing for little kids absolutely loads of choice for food too and really reasonably priced. Really good bus service. All prices displayed on the buses and Taxi staff are helpful. all friendly and helpful. Shopping centre faro 2 is only a ten minute walk very desolate but there is a good sized hippo diner there with everything you need.

We had a great time ,, staff are fantastic and our cleaning lady was an absolute darling !!! She would bomb in every day to look after us and left the place spotless,, we were tidy anyway but she spoiled us ,, Lovely atmosphere, families mixed with couples,, there’s a shop on site and supermarkets are close .. 20 min walk to Meloneras or a 5 min taxi €6 and there’s always taxis ,, can’t fault and a super surprise for the price ,, we intended just to use as a base but we spent more time in the pool and chilling than anything

The hotel itself wasn’t bad. The pool was too small for the size and there are some really stupid rules in place (small section for ball games and lilos etc) and the bigger space for chilling, it also was quite dirty. There were enough beds for everyone, but the usual ‘get up at 5 to get the bed I want but not turn up until the afternoon’ people were very much present here. Staff were lovely and the hotel is very clean. The food is not good. There is a lot of choice of beige food which was incredibly bland. The room in which is used for when you check out, and need to shower, was absolutely shocking. No organisation, not clean, no space. Absolutely carnage!!

1st time at this hotel, fourth visit to Gran Canaria. Location works for us as everything we did is in ten minutes walking distance. Lovely bright airy rooms. The food is very good and it's hot. Always a pet hate of mine eating just warm food. No fear of that here. Lovely tasty and hot. Nice pool area good bar service. Snack bar is ok but with the restaurant food being so good this isn't really an issue. Still here on holiday so still got to visit the a la carte restaurants yet. Oh and if you visit , the White party is a must do. Excellent night

Genuinely an amazing hotel, would return in a heartbeat. The staff are extremely attentive and polite. The cleaners work non stop round the clock and the place is spotless. The entertainment team are kind and funny, special mention to Jose who made the holiday. We went on 3 trips with help from the Tui rep within the hotel and they were great! The riu parties are a lot of fun and easy to book and transfer is quick! Lastly, the entertainment has variety and there is always something to do during the day. There is also a sandy beach a 10 minute walk away and plenty of shops within a 5 minute walk from the hotel! 5 stars for Riu Papayas!

Stayed here for 11 nights with my husband and daughter (aged 4). Overall, we had a fantastic experience staying in this hotel and I would happily stay in another RIU property again. Staff - all the staff we encountered were very helpful, kind and hard working, particular mention to the cleaning and waiting staff who were outstanding at keeping the rooms and dining areas clean. The animation staff were fantastic, particularly the Riuland crew. My daughter really enjoyed the arts and crafts part of the kids club. Cleanliness - hotel was spotlessly clean, which is no mean feat when the bathrooms at the pool bar required constant cleaning. Rooms were cleaned daily. Location - RIU Papayas was within walking distance to the beach, a shuttle bus can drop you at the beach if you wanted but we didn’t use this service. Parts of Playa Del Ingles are in need to renovation, but plenty of great restaurants around to enjoy. Food - breakfast was excellent, plenty of choice for all. As per all inclusive, the food can be sort of repetitive but it was of a good standard and hot each time. We really enjoyed the Asian restaurant that needs to be booked in advance. It would be great to have that restaurant open 7 nights a week! Areas that could be improved: Gym - gym was small and no free weights, it would get busy very quickly. I joined a gym for the days I was here externally and would have been happy to pay additional for a better gym on site. Pool towels - while you could get beds at the back of the pool or the sunroof over the pool bar, a lot of people put down towels early and reserved them for the day. This was disappointing as one of the days, we couldn’t get a bed near the kids pool. This isn’t necessarily the hotels fault, but the policy should be stricter for people to stop hogging seats. Overall, we had a great stay here and I would recommend this hotel to anyone, in particular if you have a small child like us.

Holiday – July 2025 Another fantastic stay meeting the high standards you expect from Riu. The hotel is spotless, with tidy, spacious rooms and a beautiful pool area offering plenty of space to lounge, whether you prefer sun or shade. The food is excellent, in line with Riu’s reputation. Both à la carte restaurants are outstanding — the Oriental restaurant is a must-visit! The entertainment team is fantastic — friendly, enthusiastic, and fully dedicated to making sure everyone has a great time. All the hotel staff are exceptional — nothing is ever too much trouble. When our room hairdryer stopped working, we reported it via the app and it was replaced within 20 minutes. Don’t miss the Riu Party at the sister hotel — the courtesy bus makes it easy to get there.

Great hotel with attentive staff. Very clean with plenty of food at service times. All inclusive experience. The gym is a bit poorly stocked, with treadmills in need of replacement.

10/10 would not recommend this place. This is definitely the most loosely labeled “resort” I’ve ever been to. I’ve never been to a place I’m paying so much money for that has so many stipulations and rules. First, what people said is true in the reviews. It is very quiet here with 95% of the customers being elderly. There is a strict dress code for attending the restaurants where you have to where pants and a T-shirt. Problem is, I didn’t bring pants because I’m on a hot desert island on vacation, I had to borrow some to get in. There is no convenience store in the resort to get drinks or snacks, so if you need to get a late night beverage or munchies, you have to go into town. The restaurants are only by reservation, no walk ins. The food is as bland as bland can be at every single restaurant. The buffet only serves breakfast and dinner and the restaurants only serve dinner. If you want lunch you have to walk out past the pool where they have a small menu for poolside food. The pool is awkwardly dead silent with no music playing for atmosphere, I’d be fine with even classical music. They have a poolside bar but WONT LET YOU BRING YOUR DRINKS IN THE POOL. When we tried, we were told we had to get out. This is supposed to be a vacation but it felt like daily we were being told we were breaking a rule or we were being inconvenienced. Spend your money elsewhere at a place that knows what the word vacation means. So before you respond with even more horrible customer service, know what you’re talking about. This is just another example of how poorly you treat your customers. What a great response you just gave.

Another Exceptional Stay at Riu Palace Maspalomas! This was our second visit to the Riu Palace Maspalomas, and once again, everything was absolutely exceptional! From the smooth check-in to the seamless check-out, every part of our stay was a pleasure. We were even given the same room as our previous visit — Room 1087 — which has amazing sunset views. I highly recommend requesting this side of the hotel if you're after a beautiful evening view. The hotel itself is immaculate — spotless, well-maintained, and a true credit to the brand. All the staff, across every department, are simply wonderful. Friendly, warm, always smiling — they embody what great service is all about. You can truly tell that they are proud ambassadors of the Riu brand; hospitality runs in their blood. The food is superb! From breakfast to dinner, the quality and variety are excellent. The buffet changes nightly, which keeps things interesting, and there are also two fine dining options included in the half-board package if you want to mix it up. Drinks are the only additional cost, which is totally reasonable. There are two pools — a main pool and a smaller one — both are fantastic, clean, and well-maintained. The pool bar, which also serves lunch (extra cost), overlooks the dunes and makes a perfect spot for sundowners. The only downside — and it’s something we encountered on both visits — is the issue with sunbed reservations. Unfortunately, people continue to leave towels on beds early in the morning and disappear for hours, making it difficult for other guests to find seating. While the hotel policy says unattended towels will be removed, we did not see this enforced. In today’s hospitality industry, this behavior is increasingly being addressed by many hotels, and I believe Riu should take a firmer stance on this. It’s time to empower pool staff to act on this policy and create a fair experience for all guests — not just the early risers. Despite that one issue, we had another wonderful stay and will definitely be returning soon. Thank you to the entire Riu Palace Maspalomas team for making our holiday so special again!

Lovely hotel. Staff are very friendly. They are out to fleece you at every turn. Half board and you have to pay for water at dinner. If you want to rent a Balinese bed by the pool it’s €50 per day. It is not a cheap hotel but this sort of thing makes it feel you’ve paid budget and then everything on top is paid for. Expensive, and yet makes it feel cheap. Not recommended.

During my stay at the Riu Palace Maspalomas, I encountered some disappointing customer service. While reception was responsive, there was a distinct lack of empathy and a disingenuous approach to resolving issues. Conversations felt more like scripted interactions than genuine attempts to help. Upon arrival, I was assigned a ground-floor room despite upgrading to a sea-view room. When I asked Sabrina at the front desk if the dunes were visible, she assured me they were, but the view was obstructed by a garage with only a portion of the dunes visible. I returned to explain, but Sabrina maintained both the dunes and sea were visible. She told me the hotel was fully booked and no rooms would be available until the next day, adding she couldn’t offer a refund for the upgrade and suggested I speak to the manager, Marrisia. When I returned later, Marrisia still hadn’t arrived, and I was told to check back in another half hour, leaving me frustrated at the lack of resolution in the first few hours of my holiday. Thankfully, Adam from Bell Service, along with his supervisor Toni, helped me resolve the issue. Both Adam and Toni assisted with the room change and even reached out to corporate on my behalf to arrange for a refund of the upgrade. Their personal attention and professionalism were a bright spot in an otherwise frustrating arrival. Additionally, the housekeeping staff and the restaurant/bar wait staff were fantastic. Both teams were attentive, friendly, and always eager to make me feel comfortable. The hotel has great potential, but the front desk staff could benefit from some improvements in guest relations.

Amazing experience. 2 weeks full relaxation. The highlights were definitely the team Macu, Felipe from the pool, Daniel, Ferdinando, Yessica and so many others. Also please pass on a big kudos for all the housekeepers the room was everyday in a pristine condition. The food was also great. My only 2 notes I think water fountains to reduce bottled water usage in the restaurant in the outside area would be amazing. Plus, the pool should be available until 20h. All that said, I will definitely comeback and aim for a room with a see view! ☺️

Just got back after 2 weeks at this hotel with my husband. Absolutely amazing holiday! I was sceptical at first about Maspolamas but after staying in the Riu Palace Maspolamas, I can honestly say we loved it! The hotel is beautiful, immaculate, modern and amazing views. The staff were very helpful and friendly and worked hard to make sure everything was 5* standard. There was so much choice in the restaurant and the 2 a la Carte restaurants were just fantastic. The only downside I could think of is that the drinks were quite expensive and you have to pay for your evening meal drinks. If you have the riu class app you can gain points that can be used for drinks, which was great for us. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would definitely go back in the future.

The hotel is 5 stars hotel. No single use flip-flops. Nice view if you get the view to the dunes. Staff is OK, sometimes you can see that they are nice just to be nice and it is not real smile Breakfast is pretty much the same but it is consistent. Lunch is not included. Diner is different, variety of meat and veggies. Desserts are meah, like the ones sold in Lidl. No texture, no taste, sponge-like taste. A lot of cream and whipping cream with different flavours. Fruits are ok. A big minus for the big sunbeds which are for the "rich" (50 EUROs to rent u less you stay in the expensive suites)- which we were not told and we tried to stay there and had to leave. Drinks are not included in the rooms or at dinner or during the day. I would recommend for the experience but not more than 5 days. As a couple, being adult only hotel it can be boring. The only beach is quite far so by the pool all day it a too much. Go and explore other stuff

Street parking can be difficult to find, though the hotel does offer a very small car park available for a fee. Mornings can be a bit noisy due to the hardworking cleaning crew starting early. The food is generally very good and mostly quite tasty. Smokers and Vapists tend to stay in the designated areas, although there is no enforcement. The rooms are comfortable, but it's worth noting that two single beds pushed together don’t make a double bed - may annoy couples. The room includes a free safe & a small fridge. The shower randomly goes hot & cold during use. There are plenty of sun loungers around a clean pool, and the complex is just minutes away from beautiful beaches. The staff are friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall pleasant experience.

Lovely spacious rooms. Very clean throughout. Right next to a busy highway so bear that in mind if you like a view or are sensitive to noise. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. One downside is that the double beds are two single beds pushed together and you WILL fall down the middle. Staff kind and courteous throughout the stay. Overall, good value for money! Typical sunbed wars going on- wish staff would remove people's belongings if not using sun beds. That being said we did usually find one or two when we needed it.

Not a 4 star hotel. Stayed 10 days. This is a genuine review which is made with an honest assessment. Pros - 1) Good location and nice spacious room 2) Pool is nice 3) Nice and quiet in our room. Cons - 1) Food isn’t up to scratch and made us ill and is very repetitive and lukewarm. 2) Night entertainment was pretty poor except one female singer it’s non existent. 2) Cleaners are lovely people but didn’t come everyday. 3) Hairdryer in the room doesn’t work properly 4) Don’t offer an iron and online advertised a massage service but there wasn’t when we arrived. 5) Says they do not allow reservation of sun beds but they always were claimed and with a disabled person with me it felt like we were cheated to equal treatment to make the most of the sun beds due to the greed of others and no hotel policy to enforce what they say. Overall it is not a 4 star and you will think the same. I wouldn’t stay here again.

For me I wouldn’t visit again. Food not good at all. Evening entertainment is poor. Sunbeds round pool are nice but most have towels on by 8am and even seen them reserved the night before and hotel don’t care about it. Pool is heated so nice. Make use of your do not disturb sign on room as made starts at 8am sharp. Would say it a 3 star not 4. Much nicer places on island for similar price.

Very nice clean friendly place in a great location. There were a few bad points which are a bit trivial really but if you are visiting winter time there is a lot of shade due to the layout of the 4 apartment blocks and it can be pretty cool till the sun moves round and then you may not be in the sun that long without having to move sunbeds. Also there was only 2 tables to sit at the pool bar so if you like sitting for a while instead of lying down you will be lucky to get a seat. There is plenty of room for more tables too. Overall a good place and would possibly return.

Very dated. Bathrooms all grouting between the tiles are black with mould . The shower leaks into the main room. Hence, the door frame in the bathroom is rotten. Walls and floors paper thin. If you're looking for peace and quiet, don't book here . The noise from surrounding bars goes on until the early hours . There is not much seating area outside for the size of the hotel. The pool is tiny. Food is passable . I wouldn't come back again.

Lovely hotel, only problem there is no covered area for entertainment when it rains, Was there last week and we had 2 days of rain, the entertainers tried to amuze everyone with a music quiz but it was on the restaurant veranda and you could only get beer or wine to drink as the bar was a good distance away and you would of got soaked walk down. Other than that, we did enjoy our week there and would go back

Our second visit fhis year and we will be back. The room maids are brilliant. The evening room check and extra towel service is a great touch. Restaurant service is also superb with waitersin attendance as soon as one walks in. Elias and Nico were excellent. Reception staff are knowlegable and quick to help making one feel welcom immediately. We arrived late evening and the restaurant would soon close so we were sent to dine before check in and our bags were looked after until we returned to reception. Food was excellent in general, the exception being the hot meats on a couple of occasions when they had been under the hot lamps for too long but we soon realised that the secret was to get in early when everything was freshly cooked. There were also some great fish options. All in all a great holiday experience.

We have just returned from our first stay at the hotel, and were very impressed. The hotel is spotless and the staff couldn’t have been friendlier - they also seem happy at their work! The food is nice enough…I wouldn’t describe it as 5 star, but it’s fine and there's plenty of choice. There are a couple of suggestions that I wish I had made while we were there, however better late than never I hope. The first is that if you are going to state that men are expected to wear long trousers for dinner, then it should be enforced. Having taken only smart shorts, my husband spent €60 on a pair of trousers (which he wore every night) only to find some others wearing smart (and not so smart) shorts without any challenge. I would change the message to read that long trousers or smart shorts are required for dinner, and no denim and\or training shoes. I’d also suggest a greater choice of wine served by the glass - my husband drinks red and I drink white, so a bottle is not an option, and the choice was limited. Finally, given the cost of staying at the hotel, I do think they could include use of the safety deposit box without an additional charge. All of that said, we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and thank the team for making us feel so welcome. I have just seen the reply from the hotel re the dress code. Please review the literature that you hand to guests when they check in - it clearly states that long trousers must be worn and should, therefore, be amended if this is no longer the case as you suggest.

This was our 7th stay at the hotel RIU Place Meloneras and as always we were very satisfied. Very friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room with all comfort. Watch out, some standard rooms may have limited view or view on neighboring constructions. We prefer the more expensive rooms with frontal sea view or at least partial sea view which give a view without restricted view. Several swimming pools of which two are adults only and quiet. The hotel is very calm both intra-muros and by location along a very pleasant promenade along the sea. The buffet restaurant is at the high end of this kind of hotel in the Canary Islands without being exceptional. Recently, we particularly adored the wellness menu. Also, large choice of salads, desserts, cheese and cold cuts. Special thanks to Jonas. Recently, the parking has become paid, not a bad decision because of the relatively limited number of places available. I cannot say anything concerning the evening shows as, in the evening, we prefer the calm of our balcony overlooking the sea. In conclusion, this is a hotel where we love to come back every year and already looking forward to next year.

Cannot fault the staff or the hotel - they could not do enough for you. Food was good, fresh hot and varied and rooms were cleaned and a turn down service provided daily. However, I did have two issues : 1) having to pay for a safe - slight annoyance, so just bear that in mind so not a surprise when you check in; and 2) the second, more annoying issue, was the smokers - they were everywhere! There doesn’t seem to be any non smoking areas. People smoke around the pools and everywhere throughout the bars. It would be nice to enjoy days and evenings without second hand smoke. For everyone’s comfort, it would be good if there was dedicated area of the bar/pools for smokers.

Another great stay ( third visit) at this hotel. We keeping coming back and already looking to book our next visit. Grounds and pool areas are very well maintained. Plenty of sunbeds . Food is excellent and a great choice every night. Staff cant be faulted as all would say hi if passing and always attentive. We were very well looked after by Annara in the Magnolia area on several evenings during our stay. It's hard to pinpoint any one Indidvidual as all staff are attentive.

I’ve found my favorite getaway! This is my fourth visit to the hotel – and yes, I’ve found my favorite getaway! The resort is just the right size, easy to navigate, and always spotless, with a strong focus on cleanliness. The atmosphere is calm and pleasant, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and go out of their way to make you feel at home. The night security adds an extra sense of safety – you can almost sleep with a smile on your face. The infinity pool is perfect for lazy afternoons, the sunbeds have comfortable mattresses, and you can actually enjoy the sunset right from your own lounger – yes, the magic happens while you’re lying there with a drink in hand. The food is delicious and varied, and the gym has three treadmills, two of them new since my last visit – for those who want to combine vacation with a little sweat. The location is fantastic: the beach promenade is right below the hotel, and the beach is just a short walk away. I’ve had half-board, but there’s also a wide selection of restaurants along the promenade if you want to mix things up. For running enthusiasts, this place is perfect – with the sunset as your motivation! In short: a hotel that makes me count the days until my next visit – and I doubt any other place can compete with the sunset view from the sunbed.

I love the hotel, the food, and the service. However, the hotel allows its guests to put their towels on the sunbeds BEFORE breakfast and leave. All the best beds are therefore gone, and those who arrive after breakfast and are ready to join the waterfront are directed to the back. I also think the hotel should renovate its app. Make it possible to book lunch, drinks, massage etc. on the app. Only adults make a great stay.

I thought the hotel was perfect... we booked last minute self catering. Great location central to bars and restaurants and 10 minute walk from the beach. Pool is amazing with shallow and deep end and also a kids pool. Plenty of sunbeds to be had and good selection at pool bar... whether self catering or not. Room cleaned every day and all the staff very helpful and friendly. Very good price and you get what you pay for... if you looking cheap and cheery with friendly staff and good facilities you'll not be disappointed other than the night time entertainment but sure you have all the nearby pubs and bars

It’s a basic hotel with basic all inclusive food, although not a problem if you’re happy to eat out a few times as the location is great with plenty of bars and restaurants around. I travelled with my husband and two children. The room was very dated and small for a family of 4 (the courtesy room we used on the last day was a lot nicer!). We had a room at the front of the hotel over the bars, it is lively and loud of a night time but music tends to go off just after midnight so again no problem. The room had many faults, unable to lock balcony door, leaking air con and air con not very effective, these issues where reported and attempted to be repaired but quickly broke again. Majority of staff are friendly but one receptionist is extremely rude and unhelpful. Orlando one receptionist is really friendly and helpful. Sunbeds are behind a gated area that cannot be accessed until 9am which is great as you don’t feel rushed to get up extremely early to reserve a bed. We wanted to keep the room on for a late check out but unable to do so and had to pay to use the courtesy room, 6€ per person for 30 minutes. We didn’t get picked up until 7pm but on check out at 12pm we had to get the all inclusive wristbands cut off. Overall very basic and dated hotel, great location with plenty around and a walk away from the beach.

Hotel itself is nice and modern, bedrooms air con is literally non existent every single night is boiling hot. The staff at the check in are nice but the lady with the large mouth (visibly large) at the bar is incredibly rude, shouting at me in front of everybody when i was going to get a glass of water and pay for it, screaming i have to pay for it… when i was.. i didn’t even have a glass in my hand i was going through to see what i could buy. Not to mention i wasnt the first person she had shouted at, horrible lady.

Poor After reading the reviews i was apprehensive about staying here all inclusive for a week. Pros - cant access sun-beds till 9am preventing sun-bed wars - Lovely pool, clean, nice new astro surrounding it - Comfy sun-beds & good umbrellas - Clean but basic rooms, maids came everyday but Sunday. - Snacks always available, chips pizza ice-cream Cons - Limited drinks included - Food is barely edible (you can survive off chips) I’ve been to many 3 star all inclusive across the canary islands and this buffet was the worst by far. - Dinner is particularly poor, very bland. rabbit & mutton. Pork was mainly gristle - Life guard is a fun sponge, no balls no inflatables no fun, he likes to patrol making it clear its his pool - Only one pool/ buffet toilet - Reception staff aren’t very helpful, dismissive/blunt/rude - Poor entertainment - Wifi is useless - No water / coffee available after breakfast, before 11am. a lot of nudity around the pool, it is a good enough location, but would not return

I was a bit dubious as I have really gone of Spain holidays but thought I would try this place. When I booked the pics of hotel made it look a bit drab so my expectations were low……..however……. This is a great hotel. All staff are really friendly and helpful. The all inc is great drinks are great. Food is great (although can get busy) but the staff really work very hard. The hotel was spotless. Room was of very good quality. The location was close to everything. Beach about 10 mins walk but a nice walk. Buses and taxis all close although I never used them as I walked everywhere. Went to the Yumbo centre a few nights which is about a 15-20 min walk had good nights there. Honestly I don’t usually leave reviews but I love this hotel. And will 100% coming back. The pool area is really nice with like fake grass all round and plenty of sun beds. Pool is very clean. I can not pin point one amazing staff because they all are amazing from cleaners to bar staff, reception. Even maintenance are friends. Sorry it’s a big review but telling yiu my experience. There is nothing I would recommend to change because I was more than satisfied. Keep up the good work green fields !!!! And many thanks for a fantastic holiday!!!!

Would not waste your money on this hotel. Although it looks ok from the outside the rooms are very small, especially the family rooms, the bathrooms flood after every shower, the staff are rude, the food is awful and the bar right next to the hotel has the music blasting until 6 am every single night, so be prepared to not get any sleep. No where near enough sunbeds for the amount of guests so have to be up extremely early to queue, which is not fun after getting no sleep and if by pure luck you manage to get one don't you dare leave the seat as the managment will take all of your belongings. The area is very money orientated you will get uncomfortably harassed, so will your children especially in the evening..need another holiday to recover from this one

Second time I’ve been here & since then the whole hotel has been refurbished. The only criticism I have is that why have a coffee machine in the room & not a kettle? I really wanted a tea but never mind. The beds are comfortable in my opinion, the pool is Devine slightly cold but lovely, I’d say get up at 9am & put your towel down & get a good sun-bed for the day. I’d personally suggest not to go all inclusive like we did as the food they provide isn’t the best, I come from the UK & the sausages from the breakfast tasted unusual. The staff were so welcoming. Beautiful location right near the beach also & shopping distance. I’d advise pay the €15 to use the onsite room safe to store your passport & money. Downstairs there’s a restaurant called Mulligans it’s an Irish bar but bloody hell the food is bloody divine, Janine is a lovely human who served us gave us the best experience she’s so welcoming. If you’re a homosexual like I am try the Yumbro Centre that’s located like 10-15 mins away it has brilliant atmosphere.

It was our first stay at this hotel and it was just perfect. The hotel is located at the edge of the dunes and a 5 minute walk to bars and restaurants. We had a garden terrace room on the ground floor. The room was large, modern and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was also large and fully equipped with a robe, slippers and toiletries. The room had a separate lounge area with large tv showing the main UK channels, plus coffee and tea making facilities, fridge and a safe. The pool area was spacious with plenty of available sunbeds and complimentary pool towels. The breakfast covered all tastes with plenty of fresh produce. We used the bar most nights. It was quite a small area and the seats were often occupied. The outside bar was not open in the winter. The pricing was reasonable for a hotel bar. The hotel itself was just perfect, however the staff, whether they be housekeeping, restaurant, bar or reception staff were excellent. The only small issue we encountered was a hit and miss wifi signal. We will definitely be returning.

I had a great stay at Santa Monica Suites Hotel. The room was huge with a view of the dunes. The buffet breakfast and dinner had great options. Service was exceptional from reception, dining and cleaning. Close to the dunes, shopping center, etc.

Super, everything just perfect. Breakfast and dinner bufet, rooms, pool area and evening shows. View from room to beach is beatiful. Hotel personel are warm, helpful and their service is wonderfull. We recommend this hotel and hopefully will return some day!

The hotel, pool and reception area are immaculate and high quality. Being a 2 min walk from the beach and shops was incredible. Amazing area and views. Unfortunately we paid extra for a sea view to be placed directly next to the gym which is open at 7:30AM and some psychotic people are using the gym on holiday at that time, going for walks on treadmills which make really loud beeping. On complaining about the noise we were moved to the 5th floor free of charge. This was a decent compromise but frustrating to have to pack up and move in the midst of our holiday. This room on the 5th floor would normally be €70 a day extra but was a free upgrade for us which was lovely. However if I was paying for that I would be extremely disappointed as it's just the same room but with a Nespresso machine. In terms of the room, the beds were extremely uncomfortable and pillows paper thin. Towels for bathroom weren't replaced and had to ask for them on multiple occasions? The breakfast was the worst part of the stay, slimey bacon, overcooked eggs, pasturized milk, stale pastries etc. Ordered a coke from the bar ended up being €5 so never ordered it again and instead just got ice from the bar and bought coke from the supermarket. Staff at reception and pool area were all extremely friendly and helpful.

Greatest location for weekends with couple, not so good with kids, typical food and service for a big hotel. Nice on the picture but devil in the details. Great stuff at bar and dining area. Not so pleasant experience at reception but it’s ok. Room also fine but there is a lot of uncomfortable points like bed consists from two and on wheels, forget to rest in the middle it’s impossible, no coffee, empty minibar, light at the night going through the curtains… Overall Value for money 5/10.

One of the best hotels i have been in my life. Breakfast is very tasty and various, make sure to try the fresh tortilla with cheese and ham and tomato and cheese. Gym is clean and easy to use equipment which is clean and well maintained. Bathrooms are cleaned every 3h. It's spotless clean. Wellness facilities like the massage place is so well designed and nice and the lady who works there is incredible. One of the best memories from this hotel is her massage on my day of departure. Snack bar during lunchtime actually has tasty options and salads as well as pizzas, wraps, burgers, desserts. During the evenings, the chill bar on the terrace always has some entertainment for everyone, and drinks go up to 23h. Its so romantic, well decorated with ambient lighting. The staff is super polite. All of them at all functions. If you need to put your luggage in storage, they do it for you. The hotel has elevator near the pickup spot on the street so when you arrive or depart you can take your suitcases in it without dragging them on the stairs. The location cannot be better. We got nice suite with ocean and dune view on the 3 floor. I couldn't be more happier. Especially because i was close to the gym. The pool area is spotless clean and well maintained every day. Towels are limited to 1 per person and you can exchange them daily in the opening hours of the pool area. There wasn't anything i didnt like. If i go to gran canaria i will go to this hotel only. Love you guys! You're an amazing team and facilities.

Been a bit worried before booking and seeing mixed feedback. Being here for a week I can say it's outstanding value for money. Good breakfast extremely clean rooms. Yes hotel is from 80s but it's well looked after. If one expects 400+ per night standard we'll you have to pay 400+

This place was ok, i can say that i like it, of course a few little problems.Conditional air is very expensive if you want to use it and in front of hotel is a disco, and is open every day. If those 2 problems doesn't matter for you... than you choose the perfect place.

I went there as I usually do every year due to its cool German Xmas Market. You can taste there delicious German specialities with a real and warm atmosphere. Recommended!!

I was there in September 2024 and it was a very good experience. The reception staff is friendly and professional. Apart from being annoyed by a heavy smoker guest at the ground floor and forced to keep the balcony door shut because of it, my experience was definitely positive! I am going to be there again in a couple of weeks, on July 8-16.

Nice spacious apartment had everything you would need apart from air con, great WiFi (was getting upwards of 60mbps)even in the room. Very clean overall, although the cleaners maybe should sweep and mop the balcony now and then,it wasn't swept once while we were there (10 days) Pleasant staff. Would stay again without hesitation.

Lovely apartment. Sunbeds by the pool and on the roof. Not far from the beach. No snacks or bar at the property. Breakfast is available for 9€ a day. Normal buffet style. Yumbo shopping centre 10-15 minutes away on foot. Lots of bars, restaurants and shops to browse through.

My husband booked this for my 50th birthday. I was joined by my brother in law (who shares the same b-day), his wife and my sister who surprised us, visiting from Essex UK. I would like to say a massive thank you to Yudith. I asked for an iron, ice tray, amongst other things. We had issues with our shower and the treadmill in the gym. Yudith was relentless in getting all our requests sorted and the response time was amazing!! You can not fault the work ethics of staff in this hotel. Thank you to Yudith, Pavlo and all the reception staff. Thank you to the cleaning staff for being so lovely, in their bright white uniforms. Always helping us with whatever we needed, service with a smile! Always trying to speak to us in English (so sorry, our Spanish is terrible, in fact non existent!!) Last but not least thank you to the maintenance team! This hotel is very central, close to the beach, shops, bars/cafés and restaurants. Yet it's quiet, with space around the pool, in the spa and gym which you can just let yourself into using your room card. Great Wi-fi, we didn't mind that there was no air con, we were happy with the fan provided! Our room/kitchen was spacious with the sea view and well equipped. Anything we didn't have we just asked for! A great holiday, which ends tomorrow after eleven nights. We are definitely coming back! 👏🏾🙌🏾🫶🏾👏🏾🥳😊 Mo Rugundu

They cancelled my booking just one day before I was supposed to stay there. Looking at other reviews it seems like this wasn’t the first time this has happened. Don’t book this place unless you’re willing to panically look for a new place, hours before your flight, when everything is already fully booked. We stayed here for a few weeks. Pool is a bit dirty and half of the apartments are facing a highway which you hear during the day and night. Nice apartments though and well kept gardens. Not sure if the lobby/restaurant is closed for the season or permanently.

The place is renewed, very nice pool. A Nice garden and chairs at the pool. Quit and cosy area with an nearby little supermarket. Having a car is recommended because its 30 min walk to the beach. We stayed here in an airbnb appartement wich was perfect and well equipt

Sol y mar Maspalomas 4 Calle Tauro, 35100 Maspalomas, Hiszpania. I do not recommend the apartments. They canceled our stay two days before arrival, immediately after taking money for the stay. Without giving a reason.

A beautiful complex with wonderful friendly people. The apartments are spacious and immaculately clean. There is a lovely quiet bar and restaurant on site and a lovely bar a few steps away. Everything is close by, markets, holiday world, yumbo centre etc. The beach is a €4 taxi journey or quick bus down the road. The apartment complex itself is a calm and relaxing atmosphere, there is a main road behind some apartments but nothing a pair of earplugs can't block out if you're like me and not used to noise. I highly recommend the Tisalaya for a relaxing holiday, if you love birds song in the morning and friendly staff, especially the ever smiling and helpful Receptionists and 3 beautiful clean pools and feeling safe in a safe complex, then this is certainly the place to go. I'm already looking forward to going back again in March or April. Thank you so much for everything and I look forward to seeing my Tisalaya family again 😂

This is a nice property that offers quite large apartments for a decent price. Friendly staff, restaurant in the courtyard, big swimming pool, surrounded by amazing landscape. One of the safest ones on the island, even if the reception desk does not work 24/7.

We have a nightmare of a holiday at these apartments l am sorry to say. There are 3 pools but no sun loungers, so have to sit on hard tiles to sunbath. The reception is closed & locked. No one to get help from. First couple of days they drilled up the concrete to lay new sprinkler system around the whole complex. A slab cutter is not relaxing to listen to one holiday. Then security is bad because the builders & permanent residents prop the gate open all hours of the day & evening. Especially worrying as the apartment we booked through Airbnb had no lock on the sliding patio door. Our agent came and took the broken lock but never came back. ( gave us a broom handle to place on the runners 🤪) Then without notice the electrics went off on the whole complex from 8.10am - 5.00pm. We had no breakfast and no hot water or WiFi to notify our agent. After that we had days of cold water as they had not bothered to reset the water after tripping it earlier. We had to continuously contact our airbnb agent Luna to contact complex as not a sole about to help. She stopped replying too. Do yourself a favour and book elsewhere if you want a relaxing holiday.

Cannot recommend this place enough. This was my first time in Gran Can as a solo traveller. I wanted somewhere quiet and not overcrowded but with the option of evenings out. This place didn’t disappoint, the rooms are perfect, clean with seating outside your door pool side or more private out the back with your own small terrace. Staff are all really friendly and the food is fantastic. Although the Yumbo centre is right behind here you can easily escape the madness back at Hotel Nayra. The pool is perfect and i spent most days at the pool which never seemed to get busy so no fighting or reserving sun beds is needed. Theres a small gym downstairs too. ***** 5 Star!

Detailed review based on a couples stay but also first time in Gran Canaria. The first night we arrived we were given a room in the annex which had broken air con. There was an attempt to get resolved by the member of staff at the time who moved us to the next door room but the air con was not on so the room was over 26 degrees which is not the best when you first arrive. We were told to leave it to cool the room so went to grab some food and then returned with no change. We were told at the time that there was no other rooms available. Due to breathing issues and pure discomfort we spoke to TUI who then said they would resolve it. This resulted in us being moved to the main room (strange how a room became available) where it was much more fresh and comfortable. We appreciated Angel (night colleague) who helped us feel much more comfortable. He was brilliant and supportive. Moving forward as hiccups can happen the hotel itself is lovely - breakfast is wonderful and the chef is fab always happy and polite. Fresh eggs and bacon to order! Pool is lovely and no issue with getting a sun bed. Lovely mix of people staying. Rooms were also modern with a good shower and useful facilities. Gym was a nice touch as were the other food and drink items (very reasonably priced too). We had wonderful service from the waitress staff who were just kind and happy! Location is nice with close proximity to the dunes, supermarkets and some lovely restaurants. I think south of the island is much more vibrant with culture and have some real gems to see but that is purely my opinion. The reason this is not five star for me is, one we were celebrating my husband’s birthday so the start of the holiday was quite stressful. Although eventually resolved we noticed that some of the reception staff were not as proactive or supportive as others. It didn’t feel as though there was an above and beyond reproach to help first time visitors just settle in. Second, the language barrier aside as we used Google translate often to help with communication (technology is brilliant when it comes to helping with this) - We requested a late checkout (due to a very late flight) the first night we got there and were told we would need to wait until Thursday when we left. That is fine due to bookings etc, but what became an issue was an incoming heatwave where temperatures reached nearly 36-40 degrees with humidity and not being able to have a place to even cool off. We were told that we have to leave the room promptly due to somebody who had booked the room we were in. Now take aside the time it takes to clean a room, I can’t understand why there is no rooms made available for at least guests to cool off. The only option was to book a shower downstairs and walk across the lobby after a dip in the pool to do this (not very convenient and also rather messy for the hotel). Late checkouts with notice should be honoured or the very least provision made to make guests feel comfortable. We were given a room again as I had informed TUI until 2.30pm. What made this worse is we saw no one actually check in to our room until the time we left for our flight at 5.30pm meaning we could of stayed cooler and comfortable in the heat without a fuss. Being repeatedly told it’s hotel policy is problematic when it comes to extreme heat and people with medical issues. We witnessed another guest being asked to vacate their room despite a migraine. We advised them to speak to the front desk but they weren’t given any extra time for that guest to just fully feel better. Personally I don’t think that is ok and would strongly advise amending your policy in extreme heat by simply making a few rooms available for guests to at least be more comfortable. Overall I wouldn’t probably return as customer service in my opinion is a make or break of your holiday, but I do appreciate some of the staff there who really put their heart and soul into what they do. We personally thanked each one who did that and if you amended your hotel policy we would consider returning.

Great hotel, adults only in the heart of Playa Del Ingles, right next to Yumbo (3 min walk) - it's so quiet you'd never know! Room is lovely with silent Aircon that kept the room perfect temperature throughout our stay. Small fridge, large wardrobe and safe. The rear enclosed garden with electric canopy is amazing addition for a bit of peace. Pool is so quiet in the day, enough beds for everyone staying at the hotel. Breakfast is different each day, the chef will make omelette or pancakes on request. Ask the hotel about airport transfer before you arrive, they are much cheaper and great service than a taxi. Small niggles such as two single beds pushed together which is annoying.

A fantastic hotel, minutes from restaurants, bars and shopping centre. But once the door is closed, as quiet as can be. Lovely food served up to 19:00 with great staff. Secluded private courtyard out the back of your room for that all over tan. And the best bit, adults only with no screaming children. It's our second visit now and it's just as good.

Stayed here for 2 weeks at the start of July was great very relaxing and quiet. Rooms spacious with powerful shower. The pool was great very clean and well taken care off. What really makes the place is the bar and service, Christian and his wife and the other chefs and staff couldn't have been nicer very friendly would have given 6 stars if I could they make the best frozen daiquiris which got well used haha. Food was fantastic and they cant do enough for you. Top class amazing place for a relaxing getaway will definitely go back. Even the gardener deserves a mention keeping the whole place looking great.

We stayed here for a week to go cycling in Gran Canaria and were very happy with our stay. The apartment is equipped with a simple kitchen and a cozy balcony. The hotel is a bit far from restaurants, but it is located in a quiet area with little noise, which we really appreciated. There is a nice svares area with a pool and a restaurant, though we didn’t get the chance to try the food. A Spar supermarket is just a five-minute walk away. A downside was the limited hot water in the shower. Housekeeping visited the room daily for a superficial cleaning at inconvenient times, such as 08:45 and 15:30. When they interrupted our breakfast, we asked if they could come back later, but that was not possible. Other negative aspects were the small amount of hot water in the shower and the presence of small insects in the bed, nightstand, and kitchen. Despite these minor issues, we would happily return to Club Vista Serena and recommend it to others.

We had bed bugs in the room and are now dealing with the consequences. Rooms also have furniture in bad, worn condition and poor sound insulation. Hotel is located far from most amenities making it hard to get around unless by car.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Club Vista Serena. We were greeted by a very friendly man on arrival. We had booked a different hotel in Maspalomas but had to move hotels due to the swimming pool being worked on. Beautiful gardens and peaceful location. Very pretty little apartments, very traditional look. Very easy to walk to bus stops to explore the island or Melenoras, Maspalomas. Would highly recommend. Only 2 negatives were the breakfast wasn’t as good as the first hotel we stayed at. However I did read the evening meals were excellent- we didn’t try, but wish we did. And the pool was cold, but I understand this is normal in most hotels in the area. But the pool here used to be heated.

Great accomodation and hospitality. We arrived a few hours early and were able to check in almost immediately. Room was spacious with all the amenities required. Pool area quiet, perfect for relaxing. Good food and drinks available.

Good location, 15 min walk into the main strip/beach and 5 min walk from a supermarket. The pool was nice and not too busy (also not heated in late November). There’s a desk at reception that someone is usually there 24 hours so it’s pretty safe. The rooms are a little old but usually fine and spacious.

Everything was great, just no AC in the room, did have a really small fan but didn't really help with the heat but everything else was brilliant from the service to the room facilities and pool. If it had some AC it would be a 5 star review

Apartment 2116. All the beauty of this place is just the centrality and proximity to the sea. If you can, choose better. Otherwise, on the first day, clean the entire apartment 3 times because you will surely find dust, stubborn dirt, traces of sxxxt in the toilet and sxxxm on the sofa. And don't forget that it is full of mouses and cockroaches!

Love coming here, Carlos looks after us well. Gorgeous view to pool. Been 3yrs since we were last here, apartment sliding door still need fixed or completely replaced, curtains need replaced with clean/new ones, shower head need replace with new one, shelf on mirror needs straightened up. Bulbs in light over mirror need replaced. But I suppose that is up to the owner of the apartment to sort out. Other than that all is good.

Our apartment was small but extremely clean and with all necessities. The swimming pool is impeccable, the bar and the reception's workers super nice and kind. In 5 mins walking you are on the beach. The only recommendation: bring earplugs if you are a lightsleeper as bars around play music until 12am. It was not a problem for us.

Toilet was too close the wall ! Toilet seat was old and grubby and did not fit correctly and would not stay up , sink was directly in front of the toilet, (absolutely ridiculous ) . Shower hook on wall was broken, so very difficult to shower. There was no plug in the bathroom sink, and the shelf had not been fitted correctly so everything kept on falling off, the shower had no shelf to put soap or shampoo on. In the kitchen there were very few utensils. nothing to drain pasta or rice, no vegetable knife, frying pan was old and worn out. The plug in the kitchen sink did not nave a chain on it so it was very difficult to pull it out ( I had to use a fork to pull it out !) Electric kept on "tripping out" about 3 times a day, so on the Thursday we reported it and it was fixed immediately. We were 2 people travelling together so we needed 2 keys , only one of the keys had entry system "swipe" on it so the second key was pretty useless , as you could not use it to enter the building, so I would have to buzz main reception ,then I had to explain to them I only had the spare key to the apartment, which caused lots of confusion. and to top it off the key lock to the apartment is old and worn and it was quite difficult just to open the door. With a little thought and not a lot of expense It could be made acceptable. The owners have not put a lot of thought into this, also the telephone number they give on Booking .com is not in existence , when they wouldn't answer our email messages, we thought it was a scam. The pool area is nice and most of the staff very friendly. but there was a grumpy old man there one day ( may be he was having a bad day) It was cheap and that's why we booked it, buy I don't think I would book it again.

Flat 2116 was TERRIBLE, it ruined our vacation. Ground floor, a lot of cockroaches. The flat owner doesn't fix holes where cockroaches get in. We heard also mouses climbing in the evening and nighttime. Although we kept everything eatable in the fridge.

Positives - House keeping, porters and breakfast team members very friendly and helpful. Very clean hotel. Plenty of choice and everything Very fresh at breakfast. Pool environment great with palm trees and peaceful. Good location for beach and Sea. Negatives - a little lacking in soul due to its size and lacking attention to detail. Reception staff- first and last impression not warm or welcoming. Really petty charging for room safe in 5 Star Hote. Good 4 Star not a 5 Star.

Fantastic location with a rear access door directly onto the beach. Fantastic rooms with excellent room service & brilliant restaurant with lots of choice & variety of food. The resort is superb although probably more suited to older guests than those in their 20's. Cannot fault the hotel or resort - 20th time here & will return- sadly not soon enough!

Our third stay in this wonderful hotel did again live up to high expectations. Perfect location at the beach plus a spacious hotel lay-out that leaves both options: stay at hotel or utilise the surroundings. Great food offering at buffet and the two in-house restaurants. And the best: the staff, super friendly and helpful. The hotel appears also to have little staff fluctuation (happy employees), as we saw same staff in three years.

Let's be clear from the outset: Riu Oasis is NOT a 5-star hotel, NOT a « palace », because it is NOT sufficiently customer centric. The hotel is clean but : - Parking is extremely difficult and there is no valet... A very small garage is available, but it is always full, forcing us to wait up to an hour everyday to find a place to park outside!… - the Reception staff are indifferent and don't try to help with it… how can it be ?!?Finding solutions should be their top priority. -Bedroom and bathroom are separated by a translucent wall... beautiful but such a bad idea. Everybody wakes up at the same time… Even in the middle if the night… difficult to recharge your batteries in these conditions. To remain positive, the housekeeping team does a really an excellent job with the bedroom. And I was close to forget something incredible. You are asked to pay 8€/day for the safe in the room! Even 4stars hotel don’t do that, it is really petty. So at the end I would say it was a disappointing experience (considering the 5 stars displayed)

We spent a wonderful week here! The hotel is of a very high standard, with quality furnishings and spacious rooms. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the staff were extremely polite and friendly. Both breakfast and dinner offered a wide variety of delicious and diverse dishes. The location is excellent – the hotel grounds lead directly onto a beautiful, large, and wide sandy beach. We would be delighted to come back here :-)

First class hotel in a fantastic location. Room (garden view) very comfortable and smart, staff very friendly and helpful, cleaning staff very attentive, buffet breakfast very good, bar prices more reasonable than expected. Minor gripes are (1) absence of vanity mirror or space for wife to do her make up, dry hair etc comfortably (2) absence of liquid milk in room for tea and (3) unavailability of cappuccino at breakfast. Would definitely return when next in GC.

TLDR: great hotel, 4 star hotel price = 4 star hotel service though. Bad • Smelly shower • leaky toilet flush system • broken door than won't close • old and rotten bedside lamps • no vanity kit, nothing, not tooth brush, no ear stuff • no complimentary water Restaurants • buffet food is average, despite all the good comments. Overcooked or cold meat, really green not ripe bananas, tasteless tomatoes, half frozen vegetables, the worse being the quality of vegetables and fruits, it's really not meeting the 5 star standard and regarding fruits and vegetables it is a shame as Spain has some of the best (we live in Spain and know it for a fact) • food in other restaurants is of higher quality and some is really good I have to say • service is very friendly though not very professional (like servers taking your plates while it's clear you're not done eating or suddenly crossing to take a plate right in front of your nose). Most professional service was from Jorge. • Restaurants are included in the half board option which is a very positive point, considering the above. • No proper coffee option for breakfast, you either get a pot of filtered coffee or a pot of tea. I do understand that with the scale of the number of guests (514 rooms capacity) this might be difficult to manage but it's not like the pots of coffee and tea arrive quickly neither. Facilities • The pools are great, clean and low in chlorine making them really enjoyable. There is plenty of space in the pools as most people just spend time in the sun by the pool rather than in it. Towel and pool bar service are very friendly and efficient. Really loved the pools. • The garden is breathtaking, spent so much time reading, walking, playing with my son there. Super well maintained, very green, lots of birds. Transfer • their "Free private transfer" is a scam, you are going to wait 1h at the airport carpark in scorching heat without water, before a bus takes you to the hotel after multiple stops in other resorts to drop off passengers. No 5 star hotel should inflict that to their customers, we were off to a very bad start of stay. The hotel should be more clear about what the transfer is or better even: don't offer it. Reception • Very cold service when we first arrived, no question about how we are doing or how the transfer was (so no way to get feedback for them). No water. • A lot of friendly smiles and "good morning" the days after • Checkout was smooth though they had the mini bar wrong. Location • Great location, less windy than on the west or east sides • Direct access to the beach with good sand, really nice walks to the lighthouse, great beach (though very rocky), and the wonderful dunes, though no parasol to borrow for the beach. Nice hotel! Spacious rooms, a bit 90’s finish but luxurious 90’s! Good beds, clean. The pool area is great. Overall this hotel is great value for money. Not the most central area and the bath bus is crowded but there are taxis. Great Aldi shop just around the corner. Super friendly staff!

There have been many visits to Palmoasis. But everytime we arrive, the view of the pool and the gardens never disappoints. This is indeed an Oasis. The staff are welcoming, the hotel is spotless and you cannot do anything but smile, very widely. It is about 4 kilometres from the front but a walk or a taxi soon solves that. Plenty of sunbeds, glorious pools and a gentle atmosphere will greet you every morning. Will we be back? Of course we will!

We just ended our holiday in Palm Oasis Maspalomas...personal rating 10/10! Spotless cleaning...everywhere, everday! Staff amazing and polite and always there to help! Apartments are so spacious...bathtube has hydromassage! We were 2 adults and 2 kids (7y and 2y10m boys) in a single room apartment even having a sofa double bed available but the bedroom bed was so big that we all sleeped in the room no need for the sofa! you have tenis field, minigolf field, small toodler park, in the basement where you have the self laundry service is also a room with some arcade games (1E coin), 2 ping pong tables, there's a Gym (we didn't use it)...1 supermarket in the hotel, opposite the hotel Aldi supermarket, at 15 min walk a small Mall with supermarket Dino (found it bit expensive) , A Spar...so if on tight budget you have plenty of options to shop by yourself...by choosing this hotel we had a lovely holiday for your boys amd we will definitely return...dont know why has only 3 stars cause def deserves more! by choosing this hotel you won't regret!

Beautiful hotel with a stunning pool. The service is excellent! However, the downsides are the location and the entertainment. It’s quite remote. It takes about an hour to walk to the beach and there is not much to do in the area. Otherwise I would definitely recommend the hotel.

The hotel is not delivering what we expected. We saw a 9 score on booking.com. I would rate it a 6 at max. It states that there is a couch to sleep on as a second bed. This is not a bed, it is terrible. Sleeping on this for two weeks is just not possible. If you are later that 08:30 all the sunbeds are reserved with towels. See attached picture. This was taken at 07:45 We knew about the distances to touristic places from the hotel. This indeed is a correct assumption. You can only do this by taxi or Rental car. A positive note is the cleaning of the room. This happens on daily base and the cleaning staff is very friendly. All and all, we will not go again.

Coming to the end of our two week stay in Palm Oasis and it has exceeded our expectations. The rooms while a little outdated are spacious and have everything you could need with daily cleaning (except for Sundays). The balconies are large with an additional table and sun loungers. The pool area is the high point. Two large pools (one heated) a kids pool and a jacuzzi and kept immaculately clean. Plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas with the best system I've seen for reserving them. Pool opens at 08:30 which is when you can put your towels (provided by the hotel) down to hold your sun loungers, if you are not at them by 10:00 staff put a ticket on them, if you still haven't shown up by 11:00 they remove your towels. This ensures its fair for everyone. The pool bar does decent food and has two happy hours every day. The staff are very helpful. Breakfast is average but the onsite shop and ALDI across the road mean you can easily provide for yourself if necessary. All in all, a lovely hotel for families and couples alike. Quiet, clean and excellent service. Well done Palm Oasis, we hope to be back!

Such a lovely, quiet place. The pools are wonderful, as are all the flowers and trees. The cleaners were thorough and friendly, the rooms were spacious (and ours had a little porch with grass for the kids to run on). The pool bar is reasonable with good snacks. Free laundry, an aldi 5 minutes away and an on site shop. Free shuttle bus to the beach. And there's a cat restaurant 🤣 A gem of a place that I'd come back to.

This is a fabulous hotel. We spent two weeks here in July and had the best time. The hotel was spotless, the facilities were fab and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food is amazing, we usually start to get bored by the end of two weeks, but that didn't happen here and I could quite happily have stayed longer. The pool is salt water and heated to a lovely temperature, and the gym and spa were both amazing - I made plenty of use of both of them!

Sensational from start to finish. All members of staff were wonderful and friendly. The room was perfect, clean and cool. It was my wife's birthday during our stay, which we did not mention to staff at all. Although they very kindly left a bottle of bubbly in our room and sang her happy birthday at dinner. This made her feel very special. Food was delicious and presented excellently. Poolside was clean and peaceful. We did not want to leave after a 7 day stay. We will absolutely return one day to see all the brilliant employees.

This is a gem of a hotel. This was our second visit and we have never stayed at the same hotel twice! Every detail has been thought of! Staff are wonderful. Rooms are lovely - comfortable beds. Hotel is clean, facilities amazing. Lovely relaxing break.

Clean & Informal with Friendly Staff :-) Our second visit as a family of 4 has been very enjoyable (previous visit in April 24) Rooms spacious & clean, food extensive & staff very friendly. Some people talk of the 4* rating being too high however we have been pleased on both occasions at the overall experience. No silly rules, staff are in the background & there if you need them... Always food available, drinks plentiful, entertainment enjoyable. Our 5 & 7 year old daughters enjoyed 'kids club' at least once each day, the 'mini disco' on the main stage in the evening & were in the main/centre pool for hours each day. On one day when it rained, the entertainment staff were flexible enough to move the mini disco indoors (which my daughters really appreciated) If your expectations are for a chilled out family holiday that is mid level (not high end) you shouldn't be disappointed!

So we came in June 2025 on our first family holiday. It was great, when we got to the hotel it was very late and they offer us sandwiches. We had a warm welcome. Our rooms were next to each other which was great. The kids loved the kids club and the entertainment. It's more for kids than adults but overall we enjoyed it. The location is a bit far out from everything but they offer a bus and you can order a taxi at reception. Also there is a spar about 5 minutes out of the hotel. The food was ok, we were able to eat something everyday. I bit difficult for my daughter as she is very fussy but they did have a lot of fruit. The snack bar was great especially when you didn't want lunch. They offer hot dogs, burgers, pizza, chips. The main bar was good too, get your own drinks and ice cream always available. Sunbeds, we were able to get the same sunbeds everyday, no issue at all, even at 8am there were sunbeds available but if you got a ground floor room you got 2 sunbeds anyway. We did see cockroach but only the one throughout our stay, we did see a few cats but they didn't bother us. The cleaners and hotel staff were lovely, always saying hello and very helpful. Our room was always cleaned, they did a great job.

I wouldn’t class this as a four star resort. More 3. Grounds are well kept. Pool areas are nice. Rooms are ok, basic decor, what you’d typically expect in a Spanish resort tiled floors white walls basic amenities. The food was pretty decent. Good selection.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING The pictures do not reflect the actual hotel on the website i feel what you see on arrival. On arrival staff member was rude altho the hotel manager was very polite and helpful when I requested to see her to report my son slipping due to shower leaking feel. Bar was closed we arrived at 11.10pm only thing for dinner was ham and cheese sandwiches no help to the room just a map marked and given . The room window broken had to ask for a handy man arrived next day shower leaked out due to no rubber/plastic seal stop the water running down the glass back into the shower. It came straight of the glass onto the floor filled a hand towel everytime showered or beam. Plastic strip has been put on now so it should have been there should of been there in the first instance. Front door stiff doesnt close behind you had to be banged in order to lock. Washing line in the bathroom why I do not know never going to dry your clothes just make them smell also one outside works perfect. Pools are very clean sun lounges very poor hurt your back when getting on them due to the canvas sunken and the middle beam exposed, there white not clean. Cockroaches everywhere not in the room outside your room. Fake grass everywhere but not clean some areas are swamped with water under the turf or fake grass. When you got out of the pool walked on grass your feet stunk of stale water. My son had a slip cause of the water in the bathroom no first aider on site not needed in Spain offered me plasters no help what so ever we paid a large amount thru jet 2 holidays if you asked me would I stay again definitely not would I recommend another hotel yes barcelo or sentido. Miles away from everything no where near the beach or shops or tourist restaurants livvo group just didn't meet the standard I'm used to for the price I paid Gym on site very good quality, food was pretty normal for all inclusive breakfast dinner and tea and snack bar, Restaurant on site i had no knowledge of. In the brochure it said foam party games never seen any party games was around top pool trying to get a lounger around that pool no chance unless your up at 4am. One issue that i feel is major the allergy cards got mixed up said chicken on fish and fish on chicken i have a fish allergy luckily i noticed or i would of been very poorly really not good No a la carte resteurant on site, no option to go gold or royal like barcelo entertainment on site good for children not adults or teens people very friendly

We stayed at the hotel for a week. First impressions weren't the best, we got there late after a long trip, and there wasn't anything to drink but warm water until the morning. The staff were nice, and the food was good, but there wasn't much choice if you're fussy. It was clean, not many bugs, and the pools were good.

**PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING** Absolutely in no way a 4 star hotel as advertised, would be pushing a 2.5 maybe. To start we arrived at the hotel to very rude staff, offered no help and no food at 11:15pm other than ham and cheese sandwiches covered in flies. It doesn’t end there, on way to the hotel we weren’t given any guidance to all we saw was cockroaches everywhere on the floor and the walls. Flies covered the rooms and our window was broken when we got to the room which we were told someone would look at it tomorrow. Absolutely nothing around the hotel, in the middle of no where and no where near the beaches etc. Around the pool is fake grass which absolutely stinks of urine and is waterlogged with no drainage. Cats roam the area (no issue with that) that they claim they feed but are begging for food at lunch and dinner times. The cats also spray on the walls and the fake grass as well as urinate and poo on it so watch out walking around during the day nevermind night time. No options for food really, lived off pancakes, chips and chicken nuggets. My dad has a fish allergy and we found quite often the food labels were mixed up saying chicken was fish and vice versa. The fruit area of the restaurant is covered in flies with no coverage. The entertainment is purely for children and nothing for the adults on an evening there is nothing to do. Sun loungers are dirty and not cleaned on a night they’re all stained with food and sweat. Overall I would not pay the amount I paid for this hotel for the quality of it. Would not come again.

(My original review) This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. For 3 days, no one cleaned my room despite repeated requests to reception and housekeeping. The towels were filthy and disgusting — I had to throw them away myself and go get 4 clean ones from the housekeeping cart. No one voluntarily gave me anything. Even toilet paper was not replaced. I took photos of the trash and dirt in the room and will attach them. This hotel is unprofessional and does not respect guests. I do not recommend staying here at all. (My response to the hotel’s reply) I’ve read the hotel’s response, but unfortunately, it is not accurate. I was fully aware that cleaning does not take place on Thursdays and Sundays, and I did NOT request service on those days. The issue is not with the schedule, but with the fact that I requested cleaning on **regular cleaning days** and was completely ignored — both at reception and by the housekeeping staff. I was promised cleaning multiple times, and no one ever came. Regarding the towels, **no one gave me anything** — I personally threw away the dirty towels and took 4 clean ones myself from the cart. Even toilet paper was not replaced during my stay. This is not a misunderstanding — it’s a clear service failure. I hope the hotel will take responsibility for what happened, instead of shifting the blame to the guest. I have photos to back up everything I described.

Returned here after an absence of 5 years due to COVID and personal issues. Happy to say the Hotel is unchanged apart from a few staff who have moved on. The staff remain cheerful, friendly and efficient especially Alexis, the restaurant manager, who manages to make everyone welcome and to feel they are special. He is ably supported by the rest of the staff. The rooms are minimalist but spotless and comfortable . Excellent balcony views over the pool with all day sun. There is some noise from the adjacent road and from the nearby bars in the evening but this has never been an issue with us. The balcony doors, when closed shut out most of it and the air conditioning is efficient. There is ample choice of hot and cold food in the restaurant. The salads are superb. We will definitely be returning

We didn't stay at the hotel, but we visited their bar a few times. This place is so clean! You can also dine and have their buffet for a fee(ask the friendly front desk). The buffet offers a smorgasbord of options (everything looked fresh and yummy), but we decided to try the neighbouring restaurants instead.

A lovely week away, special mention goes to Brian who truly made the atmosphere around the pool area what it was. A great personality who truly made it fun and a real asset to the hotel. Got everyone involved in activities and was really fun to take part in. Truly believed he made the whole holiday fun and would definitely come back knowing he is here.

I stayed at this hotel and did not like it at all — the conditions were terrible. I got stuck in the elevator several times with my family. The food was inedible: the rice was sour and much of the other food was spoiled. The key card for opening the door kept breaking and often didn’t work, so I had to go back to the reception multiple times to get it fixed. The deposit for the room is only returned after two weeks. The room was dirty: the fridge was unwashed, the whole place looked neglected, with dust and hair everywhere. On top of that, we rented a parking spot near the hotel and paid €12 for it, but when checking out, they made us pay again. I couldn’t prove my point. Scammers. I do not recommend this hotel — it doesn’t even deserve one star.

We had stayed 7 nights at this hotel at the level 8. You can see the Dunes and the șea to. The view from there it is amazing. The locațion it is very close to the beach. Many shops,restaurants. And The Dunes are on 20 minutes. The girl from reception Rosita it was very kind with us. From the rooftop you have a wonderful view to. And the swimming pool to. The food was good but not perfect. The rooms are ok,.

The hotel is in need of greater cleaning and pest control. Although several activities are engaging and the Location of the hotel is favorable, we experienced a serious problem when a cockroach literally crawled around the closet. For a 4 star hotel, we found this situation to be completely unsettling and unfit for such a classification. Reception declined changing the room and instead proposed cleaning the zone of the room where the roach appeared, using a product to get rid of pests. We found this solution to be lacking. It is unfortunate that a single event ruined the trip, and hopefully management does something to fix this issue, by increasing room maintenance and hygiene.

Resort is a bit old. But perfectly serviceable apartments, lovely pool area and decent enough food. Rooms were really clean. My biggest gripe was the lack of A/C. None in the apartments l, just a fan supplied. I can cope with that. But it was sporadic as to whether there would be any A/C in the restaurant or foyer areas. Given the blistering heat all year round it would be nice to have a little refuge from the heat. Entertainment was fairly basic, but the lady providing it was very good. Great place for families, would suggest for younger couples or groups, I would suggest staying elsewhere in the town to be nearer the lovely bars and clubs.

The overall holiday was enjoyable as we were a group of 3 out to enjoy the sunshine. The service was lackadaisical at best and downright rude from the reception team. The rest of the staff were hard working and very pleasant. The food was restricted in choice and very samey day in day out. Drinks were generous and served quickly. There was no regular entertainment which was a bit of a disappointment. The all inclusive shut at 10.30pm, but at 11pm all the lights were turned off in the seating area, as there was nothing within walking distance off to bed we went. Day of departure, we asked for a room extension, answer was no, asked if we could pay for the all inclusive band and the receptionist just laughed whilst cutting them off. Because we'd had lunch the day we arrived we were not allowed lunch on the day of departure. The island was lovely, the hotel vista oasis not so much.

We visited this place not expecting too much for the price but wow were we surprised! Really friendly staff, the pool and restaurant area is constantly being cleaned and there's always someone there to answer any questions or concerns. There are ramps in all access areas for the disabled guests and a super helpful pool attendant/lifeguard on hand who seems to love his job. As for the food, there's not loads of choice but it's enough. Every morning you can have fried breakfast or cereal or fruit and yogurt. For lunch there's burger's sausages or if you prefer fish or meat (steak, pork, etc) or a really lovely fish salad. Evening meal is again meats and fish and a really nice paella. In your room you have all you need to cook for yourself, a fridge with a small freezer, kettle and toaster. No air conditioning but we had a fan and the windows have bars so you can safely leave your windows open all night. The only downside is it's a bit out the way for some people but there is a free reliable bus service from the hotel. The beach is a 30 minute walk away but uphill on the way back. This place is in my opinion, under sold. I'm definitely going back again.

I just came back from staying here and I know it has a lot of bad reviews but personally I thought it was fine. The rooms were clean we stayed for 5 nights and our room was cleaned two times and sheets changed. The rooms were hot but again when booking it i knew they did not have aircon so i was prepared. All the reception staff i found friendly and helpful. The cleaners were very friendly.The only two negative things I would say is the food isn't great so we ate out a few times and alot of the Spanish residents that were staying there were very horrible and did not like the English- there was a very obvious divide. I personally didn't have any problems whilst there but I witnessed a few incidents. The pool was great and my kids loved it, it was very clean. You are not allowed floatys or balls but again my kids wasn't bothered by that and the lifeguards were friendly if they did have to tell anyone.

We have just got back from a family holiday, staying at Vista Oasis. My wife and I, our there grown children, with their partners, and three grandchildren. The accommodation was nice and spacious, the pools were well maintained. We saw the pool cleaners every morning, taking good care of them. The guys is always a buffet style for breakfast, lunch and evening meal. It was always well presented, and the quality was ok. If you want a nicer meal during your holiday, there are some good restaurants near by. There is a bus service included, that takes you to the local beach, but everything is walkable We will use again in the future for sure.

A one-off experience as in I will never do that again. Felt like a holiday camp from the sixties although I never experienced one, having seen them on archive footage it's the closest I can think of. It was a desperate disappointment and it's pics are very flattering... I could go on but I have no words..

Excellent small complex. Which is not a bad thing, it Has everything you need for a chilled family holiday. Clean facilities clean pool, life guard from 10am till 6pm small inflatables only and no balls. It's 2 star rating is far too low my personal opinion. Plentiful of food severed 8am till 8:30pm bar 11am till 10:30pm (small 10 minute closures after breakfast and lunch just to mop/clean) All alcohol drink, cocktails, soft drinks tea coffees all inclusive. Rooms renovated that are clean, new towels bedding on Wednesdays. Entertainment throughout the week days from 12 till 3 evening from 8:30 till 10:30 bingo, karaoke. MARITZA is a great host and great singer! Join in the pool zumba for a laugh. Lots of reviews saying no entertainment personally I think they must of gone out and missed it or their party poopers. Taking part counts!!! Your on your holidays enjoy it! Airport run 25 mins €50. It's a good 45 min walk to sea front or €5 in taxi or free bus from complex leaves at 10:30 & 11:30am. Spar 2 minute walk up the hill if you forget anything or pharmacy 5 minute walk up the hill, plus restaurant. 2 adults 3x 18 year old 15 year old and 9 year old weve had a great time and definitely would come back. 28th july - 5thAug 26-30° beautiful! Thank you vista oasis bungalows and all the fantastic staff.

Overall a great stay and would happily return! Great location, close to the airport, shops and beach (complimentary bus each day). Food/ drinks were good, varied and something for everyone. The bar was inconsistent (says open until 12am but closed nearer 11pm most days). Entertainment was faultless - something different each day and night, Gleison and Nacho were great!! We were in an older room with a few issues but the hotel fixed promptly. Staff are friendly and the complex is nice and well maintained - thanks for a great stay :-)

Absolutely amazing holiday. Weather great. Hotel lovely room was nice and clean. Food was good. Bit of everything for everyone. Entertainment absolutely 1000%. Was amazing got people involved. Had such a good laugh with them and make the holiday. Always up for it such high energy. Can see they enjoy their job. ( 2 males were great and made time to talk and have a laugh.) Would definitely come back. :)

Absolutely recommend this hotel! A beautiful and well-maintained place with friendly staff who really care. The food was delicious, everything was clean and organised, and the atmosphere was just perfect. Just back from a week staying in the Miraflor. The grounds are lovely and well kept unlike the bungalows,they are old and dated. We stayed in 1123 and we had so many cockroaches and the smell from the bathroom was awful. We didn't mention these things but were told nothing could be done. The bungalows aren't cleaned daily but you get fresh towels which helps. The food is ok but could do with a bit more variety and it was a bit repetitive,the same things for lunch and dinner. The entertainment staff were lovely especially Claudia and Maria, all the staff tried their best , during the day they were always trying to involve guests with games etc. The nighttime entertainment needs a lot of work, it was awful. elderly dancers are not entertaining. The singers were ok but still could be improved. Some of the bar staff were very rude, everything seemed a hassle,even making smoothies, (not included in all inclusive) we probably had 2 each a day so 8 smoothies ,nearly €50 and every time we asked for them they rolled their eyes, especially the lady Eli. They was a male working,I'm assuming he was the bar manager,older gent and he always seemed to be telling someone off or just walking about looking like he was going to explode, not very nice, we caught him a few times being angry with staff. Pools are ok and clean If you don't like peacocks then stay away, they wonder about all day.

Looking online was really good leading up to this holiday. In fact it’s way better than that. Our room is superb Clean. And the view is just superb I also have had the company of Peacocks and their chicks on my patio today which tbh it’s the most amazing thing to see as a bird/animal lover.

We stayed in the Adults Only rooms on a bed and breakfast basis and the rooms were superb. Modern, spacious, with your own tiny plunge pool on your terrace with the main pool about 10 metres away. Towels were changed daily and the cleaning service was excellent. Breakfast was adequate without being exceptional. Some of the bungalows in the main non-adults only area looked very tired and the buffet style meals being served in the evening for those on half-board or All-Inclusive didn't look very inspiring, so we definitely made the right choice in the room and board options we went for. Checking in, and out, is done at the HL Rondo just across the road. The reception area at the Miraflor isn't staffed

Want a relaxing family holiday, good food, lovely hospitality, fab entertainment staff, excellent bungalows fresh, roomy and very clean and tidy, lovely 3 pools - then I would highly recommend this place, the food was very good as were the whole team, with smiles on their faces taking time to interact with clients. The atmosphere was just perfect for a family, as my children are 10 and 13 they loved the pools and never out of them The beach is 5 minutes in a taxi of which there is a rank 5 minutes away you won't wait more than a minute to get to the beaches which are clean, tidy and again happy atmosphere Really enjoyed this holiday as a family although we are peak season you never 'over peopled' it was so chilled with children just having fun We both said we would happily return to Miraflores

Dismal. Lacks any atmosphere. The tea and coffee facilities in the room were...a pan. Deposit on the tv remote. Deposit for a pool towel. Receptionist I found unhelpful and rude. Nowhere to sit outside and enjoy any drink at all in the sunshine. Housekeeping staff were lovely and very good at their jobs. I wouldn't go back if they paid me to stay.

Great location and views, it’s rather medium quality , don’t expect luxury- but views compensate for the rest. Breakfasts and dinners are ok and staff is super friendly but again it’s not high end dining. And I needed to change review because in the end we asked for late check out and initatialy nice lady from reception approved it but next day a lady said we can do it by paying 20 Eur which was ok for us but we wanted to pay by card so she said that it can be 10 Eur in cash so seems like a bribery for the get late check out which we pay but was very bad ending of great stay :(

The hotel is perfectly positioned, next to the beach and the beach, the service is excellent, the apartment is large and spacious, with a kitchen and a living room, next to a double bed and a large balcony, considering that the hotel only has 3 stars, I am very satisfied.

The service and the dinner are really great. The staff is also very friendly. Nowadays sustainability plays an important role and it is simply no longer appropriate to wash towels and bed linen every day. At least they should ask you if you want this. I even explicitly told the cleaning stuff that I didn't want it, but they still did it. Unfortunately, it is not environmentally friendly at all. At breakfast I asked if there were gluten free bread options (nothing too surprising nowadays) due to a wheat allergy. I was not offered it, and vegan dishes are also quite scarce. So, the hotel simply caters to the older generation, who are no doubt very happy about all this.

I want to express special gratitude to the Europalace hotel for a wonderful holiday in the Canary Islands! Everything was great. Meals are two times a day at the highest level, there are dishes for every taste, everything is fresh and very tasty. Hotels surprise with their cleanliness, room cleaning takes place daily, for a week the bed linen was changed twice. The room has a mini kitchen equipped with the necessary utensils in case you want to cook. We rested with a 9-month-old baby, the hotel provided us with everything necessary for staying with a baby, including a playpen-bed. The staff is also very friendly, helpful and responsible. The beach is within walking distance, about 2 minutes. There is a large range of shops and supermarkets in the vicinity. As a result: we will definitely return to this hotel, the conditions are excellent. Recommend for a pleasant, quiet stay, they kept all their promises.

Perfect food. Cannot understand why people complain about the food. Overall the hotel lacks a bit of atmosphere but rooms, bed, cleaning, pool and buffet are perfect. Rooms are a bit hollow and noisy. Room cleaning is great. We got a bottle of wine and some candy on our room for Christmas.

Good hotel. The reception staff are very nice and friendly. A hotel for those who want a relax in the evening after a whole day of excursions or tours around the island. If you have a child or want to go to the pool bar in the evening, then this hotel is definitely not for you. The pool bar has been closed for a long time, and there is no playground or children's pool on site. The breakfast and dinner included in the room rate are quite good. The disadvantages of the restaurant are that there is no fresh fruit and in the evening during dinner you will have to pay even for a bottle of water. It is advisable to have cash. Since payment by card is only possible if you took drinks at the bar in the amount of 10 euros. The hotel is located on the ocean. Walk to the beach for 2 minutes. The bus stop is a 5-10 minute walk. The famous Playa Del Inglés beach can be reached on foot if desired. What else? Rooms are cleaned every day. The hotel area is very clean. The hotel also has a small store where you can buy water, snacks and things for the beach. Such as umbrellas, beach towels, etc. My husband and I really liked everything and we will come back there again

Good Pool spa and food quality Now the rest: Stayed 7 nights at a supposed 5-star resort; service and hospitality did not meet luxury standards. • On arrival, staff gave information sheets but offered no explanation of facilities. • About 90% of guests were German; felt excluded and overlooked. • First night: Husband denied restaurant entry over shorts despite inconsistent enforcement—others wore sports attire and flip-flops. • Asked to pay extra to dine elsewhere where they did allow shorts, even though meal was prepaid. • Promised compensation for the incident; nothing provided. • Hotel director was cold and condescending, offered criticism rather than apology at checkout. • Restaurant service left side: waited over an hour for food, no drink refills, ignored by staff. • Right side: Crina provided exemplary service—attentive and professional. • No drink menu or price transparency during dinner; charged at checkout. • Pool bar banned swimwear, even for kids—impractical and detracted from a relaxed resort vibe. • Food and spa/pool facilities were good, but poor service, rigid rules, and unfriendly attitudes ruined the experience. • Lack of warm, genuine hospitality means we will not return.

Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. You have to take some care in choice of room to avoid noise from the evening entertainment (see below) but the staff went out of their way to accommodate our wishes. In fact all the staff were excellent and I particularly appreciated their patience in helping my practice my hopeless Spanish. The pools are heated and comfortable for swimming and there are daily activities like Tai-Chi. There’s also a small sauna area which is open 1600-2000 in the evenings. The area around the saunas is a clothing-optional sunbathing area during the rest of the day and it’s very peaceful there. The spa is adjacent to the sauna area and is open most of the day. Massages are good but quite expensive (€140 for 75 minutes). Overall an excellent holiday and we would definitely go back.

We stayed at the Seaside Palm Beach at the end of October, and it was one of the most relaxing holidays we’ve had in a long time. The hotel is great – the 70s theme is very cool, especially the vibe and décor of the formal bar. Would highly recommend going All Inclusive – we got really good value out of it. Our favourite part of the day was lunch at the pool bar, where the food was excellent! The premium drinks package was also above expectations, with Taittinger champagne on offer. The breakfast and dinner buffets are top quality, and the two à la carte restaurants are well worth a visit – especially since one visit to each is included in the All Inclusive. Lastly, it’s hard to argue with the location. The sand dunes national park next door adds to the tranquillity, and there’s a fantastic one-mile promenade walk along the clifftop to the next beach resort. If you can get a beach-view room, the sunrises are spectacular. Overall, a strong recommend!

The hotel, food, location and friendliness of the staff resulted in booking another two weeks while I was still staying. I basically went home, washed all my clothes, repacked the suitcase and was booking in two weeks after my first holiday. If you want a relaxing resort with local shops, cafes/restaurants and bars the location of this hotel is idea. Playa del Ingles has cheaper shops and is a short bus/taxi ride away. Allergies are clearly labelled. There's always enough available during breakfast and themed BBQ nights. Set menu nights are always delicious and the waiting staff also went back to the kitchens to double check the gluten free option just in case. Do be forewarned that drinks with your evening meals (and probably lunch that we didn't have) are not included in your booking, this is the only criticism and I suggest an obvious sign somewhere (or I may have missed it in the small print :D ). Also on the lower floors you may be kept awake by the entertainment but you're on hols and you could easily shift your body clock or snooze on the sun loungers the next day. Additionally, there are three fitness classes available every day included in your price, hosted by the glorious Stefan - tail chi, aquarobics and yoga. We're so impressed we've booked twice for 2026!!!

Being our second time to the Seaside Palm Beach, it once again was 1st Class. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the barbeque nights were the best we had ever experienced. Adult pool so relaxing. Weather gorgeous. We were part of a group of 12 and cannot wait to return to this unique establishment. Well Done !!

We are happy to be back here again after so many years and nothing has changed - we are choosing Palm Beach for about the seventh or eighth time. Great atmosphere, excellent food, friendly and helpful service. The environment is beautiful, clean, cozy, the sea is very close as well as the promenade with shops. We look forward to coming back next year!

Food - perfect Staff - perfect Location - perfec Entertainment - loud till 11pm! So if you have small children or you would like to rest - forget it. Thats impossible. BIG worry - staff entered the room when no one was in to rearrange clothes on balcony! When I came in all was changed. Apparently clothes were visible through the glass so not looking great - still, will not return to the hotel which is not communicating and treating guests like children. A BIG NO!

We only stayed for 2 nights on a short visit from Tenerife. It was the cheapest in the area at the time of booking. Decent size apartment. Friendly and helpful staff. It was a bit confusing finding our way about, as it's connected to its neighbouring block. Clean, comfortable and tidy. Close to local bars restaurants and shops.

I stayed here with my partner absolutely holiday from hell. No aircon and karaoke playing non stop from 10pm to 5am. Addressed these concerns to reception team and they were so arrogant and rude towards me. They said they had rooms available but were not changing us. I suggested to pay additional cost for the difference and they told me no and that if I'm not happy to go somewhere else. I was so annoyed as I lost my brother to suicide in March and also my partner lost her dad to cancer in may and I was saving all Yr to make it special for her. Absolutely disgusted by the attitude customer service and the hospitality. I'm not looking for sympathy I'm just expressing how this place disrupted our holiday. Please if you can at all stay away spend an extra €150-200 to get exceptional customer service and a fulfilling holiday with enjoyment in other places. PLS DO NOT STAY HERE. IF YOU CAN READ ALL MY REVIEWS I BEEN VERY HONEST AND DON'T GIVE THEM BUSINESS AND MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID

Basic apartment. 25 min to Yumbo. I came one night at 12 and waited 30 min to collect my Keys. The reception should be manned but wasnt that time; not even an apology only an attitude and aggression. Find your self another hotel; not worth dealing with such umpleasant staff. Very noisy at night and mornings. You have to buy all house hold stuff like dish liquid, sponge, hand wash and things to clean kitchen and bathroom. Wifi costs extra. No fan or AC.

Found these apartments to b perfect for my latest stay in GC, not overly big but ideal for me, cooking facilities & enough pots & plates. Cleaned every day. Watched Pool being cleaned every morning. Loads of sunbeds, staff very nice & v helpful. Girl in pool bar extremely loud when chatting on the fone for hours was the only negative, made it impossible to relax - no matter how far away from the bar area u sat. But she was a nice girl 😊

Horrible. A water pipe exploded, damaging some of our stuff (expensive electronic devices) and hotel refused to compensate us saying that "their insurance contact would be away the whole weekend due to Carnival party". Also as the room was flooded, we had to change rooms but they tried to take us to a worse room than the one we paid for, and it took us 1 hour of pushing them so they would give us an equivalent room (!) A flooding in a hotel room is quite an issue but the hotel Management did not even call us to apologize, they were actually quite rude when speaking to us. With no doubt these are the worst hotel managers I've ever encountered (it's a pity for some of the staff who seemed good professionals, who have put up with such "bosses" )

Nice staff, the pool isn't too bad - the lady working behind the pool bar is very friendly! But the rooms bring this place down. It has NO air conditioning, also no fans provided. The rooms retain a ton of heat. The bathroom is also kind of disgusting. The bath had been painted white (poorly) and paint would stick to my toes when showering. No rubber mats provided so had to throw a towel in to protect my feet. Location is good but some nights the music is really loud and doesn't stop until after 3am. Sometimes later. I wouldn't return, the hotel needs an overhaul. Provide A/C and upgrade the bathrooms..and maybe I'd come back

Loved this place - exactly as described - fabulous staff - we only ate breakfast and ate out for evening meal so can’t comment on any other meal. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of variety and champagne 🍾 rooms spacious with mini fridge. Plenty of sun beds. Good shuttle bus to beach. Only 5 euros to get taxi down to beach/ seafront. We walked and taxied back but only 20 minute walk so very doable

Lovely 2weeks chilling at the Calderones hotel. Jet2 advertise as 3* but more like 4*. The service is top class - all staff we met were very friendly and welcoming - especially Marlen, Marjory & Samuel. Food was good, a bit repetitive but as good as anywhere we’ve eaten over the years. The bar service could be a bit slow at times especially when the restaurant is open too, but just got to be patient! The pool area is perfect for chilling out, very peaceful & very clean. A little far from town but made us get our steps in (there is a courtesy bus & a very good taxi rank nearby). Hopefully we’ll be back soon!

I stayed with my partner and a friend and the room was great for the 3 of us, the rooms are well laid out, look gorgeous from the outside and the pool is aesthetically very pleasing! The service however was absolutely dreadful, and I don’t want to say that! But it really was, every interaction with any staff member was very frustrating, there was no enthusiasm or excitement at all, very weird energy! The food in the restaurant was 6/10 and was always cold. We had two single beds pushed together that were on wheels, it was completely impractical!! I would love to say I would recommend, but with the location being a bit far out on top of everything, I honestly can’t say I would stay again! There is absolutely no way this should have 4 stars, I was shocked when I learned that!!

Loved it,staff are friendly,the grounds are well kept,excellent collection of bonsai amongst other varieties of flora which I found very good for wellbeing,no mosquitoes.The food is very good with a good selection,the champagne is a special touch on arrival and at breakfast,the duplex accommodation made our experience like having a little house from home,a bit of a walk if you want to visit Maspalomas but not taxing. My only disappointment was the iron that is provided with the accommodation doesn't come with an ironing board. Overall,a very relaxing stay.

Brilliant hotel except the extra charges you pay through the nose to stay here 2 euros a day for the safe its a 4 star hotel ? 1 euro a day if u want clean pool towel but is changed weekly again a 4 star hotel? Clean friendly staff.

We are currently at this Hotel enjoying a half board summer break and it’s amazing. The staff are awesome and so helpful and friendly, the food is exceptional with such a variety for even the most picky eater. Sooooo clean and well kept. The pool area is quiet, relaxing and all guests so far are so respectful, towels not saved on beds and removed if not being used sooo good. The duplex apartments are so cute with seperate bed and living it’s like a little house with balconies and terrace area to chill. It’s quiet iaway from the beach and shops so walking, taxi or bus to areas but we are walkers so happy with this. Little gem which i would reccomend to those couples, families with older children looking for some valuable family time or a relaxing, romantic break. Oh it has brill Wi-Fi too!!

By far the worst hotel i ve ever been. No aircon, only a noisy fan and the solution was to give me a portable one which i carry to the room. No hot water, and the room was dirty. Stay away!

Apart from the icy water in swimming pool which no one used even during February warm weather- everything was good. View amazing! Beach, promenade 2 minute walk, great service, shop on site, tasty food. There's nothing to do in the evening, so it's quiet and peaceful at 10pm. Little bit to far to city centre.

In general, the hotel is a pleasant place to stay. The room is spacious for two people. It has the possibility of cooking and fridge to keep drinks cool. We caught a heat wave which caused the room to be very hot during the night and not let us sleep. The fan did not relieve the heat and made noise. Breakfast food was good and varied, like English breakfast. There is room cleaning 6 days a week but it is not very deep, behind the doors the hair remained...

Very nice hotel. 5 min walk from nearest beach . Tasty food and good approach to visitors. Rooms are spacious and renovated. Overall good place to go if you not expecting miracles.

Room was modern and well equipped with a direct view to the sea. Breakfast and dinner were okayish but fitted to the price. WiFi was not great but sufficient. Overall we got what we've expected. Only clear downside was that they played loud music in the lobby until late night without any reason on one day.

Got one of the renovated rooms on the 4th floor with a beautiful view of the sea from the balcony. Room and bathroom are nice and clean. The mattresses are memory foam type and are a but too soft for me personally, we we slept well and the linens are super clean. There is a small kitchen with an induction cooktop, microwave a toaster and a coffee machine (which we didn't use) and some utensils. There are 2 elevators. Breakfast was nice ! Eggs, bread, pancakes, cheese, fresh fruit etc. Couldn't ask for more frankly. They also have live music performances a few times a week which go on till 10.30 pm. Loud, but not noisy. We didn't have any other meals here. Wifi was a bit moody, and could be improved for great sea food and drinks. There was daily house keeping as well. 3 mins walking to the beach ! 3 mins walking to a great car rental company ! 10 mins walking to good beach front restaurants 30 mins walk to the Dunes 2 mins drive to BP fuel station Very close to C-1 highway and convenient to drive to other sightseeing locations

This hotel has a great location near the beach, with a bus stop nearby. A beautiful view from the balcony, spacious rooms, a shop and a restaurant on the territory. There is a pool, but I didn't use it. We ordered only breakfasts, so they were almost repeated every day, but there was a lot to choose from: vegetables, fruits, several types of eggs, pastries, cheeses, sausages, pancakes, croutons... In the kitchen: dishes, coffee maker, microwave oven, refrigerator, stove and detergents. Free Wi-Fi is available on the territory and in the rooms

Nice apartments with a nice garden and pool area. The restaurant in front “Patio Canario” is very recommended. The staff is extremely friendly and the food is fantastic. They have Live music every night.

Bad experience. They do not offer what you book. They "say" that they have sofa beds but it is just a small sofa and they have in the living room a pretty small additional bed. They do not have a reception service and it takes a while to contact them, in my case more than 24 hours to answer a phone call after doing the check-in and realising when I came to look at the apartment that they do not have the things that I booked.

Came on saturday no reception no way to get our room had to pay €300 euro to stay at another hotel for 2 nights ! To finally get our key ! 5 year old daughter with cystic fibrosis daily’s medecation went without it for 2 days because of this !! Hotel fine not the best still no reception or security after 8 days !! Constant banging n fighting from room above ! Feels like our whole room is shaking and vibrating 5 year old Daughter crying every 5 minutes because of getting woke up ! Can’t complain because we have no reception or anyone here at hotel have 3 more days left n can’t wait to get out of this hotel ! Other than that holiday has been amazing !! Accept this hotel worst hotel I have ever been in n I WILL NEVER BE BACK !

Really quite and comfortable, lovely swimming pool and cool garden. I cannot give 5 stars because the restaurants inside Agaete parque are really basic with very low quality.

Despicable hotel ugly run down everthing is broken rooms are filthy and there were black insects climbing the walls . Staff were disgustingly rude and useless . The bath was rusty in the tub . Lifts were broken and it was an area directed at people who like to party and take drugs . They give you one key in their weird box thing outside that has numbers the receptionist is never there . You ring up they leaving you ages . The ugly hideous bar downstairs that sells some weird fish and has creepy staff kept putting prices up on the same items . I hate the place it needs flattened into dust by a wrecking ball and the dust needs to be put into a container and send to the moon and then moon needs to be blown up .

The hotel is nice but spoilt by all the signs outside and the ugly kids scooters the man seems to think he owns the place and is a big pest to people with kids he try's to rent his scooters to them with no insurance and wants money up front I can't see how this hotel allows him to work there totally disappointed in the site of the signs outside it's like a council estate

hotel great but outside there are 2 people a young man and women who are a pain they keep trying to rent you scooters and have boards up outside making the hotel look like a mess how the hotel allowed these people to have a shop there is totally out of order you cant even get out the carpark as the 2 people are blocking it if they was removed the hotel would be good

One of the best gay resorts anywhere in the world. Warm/excellent service from all staff. Nice restaurant, with better food in general than restaurants at Yumba Center. Stylish, well-furnished rooms. I stayed in the Villa which was super quiet, and had a very comfy bed (something I can be picky about). I had 3 excellent massages during my 1 week stay.

The best gay hotel I've stayed in and one of the best hotels overall.  The place is great,  really relaxing and friendly.  The rooms are really comfortable and beautifully decorated and also very well maintained and cleaned and the staff really are amazing. I lost my wallet in the taxi from the airport and the staff managed to track down the driver from my credit card and arranged for him to bring the wallet back, and all without even asking, they volunteered to do it. The restaurant is also very good,  probably the best meals I had in Gran Canaria. I really can't recommend the place enough.

Absolutely LOVE this place. The team are wonderful, so friendly! The gym is good, food incredible and the salt pool is lovely. Rooms are light, clean and airy. Great for a day trip too! €20 for a day pass or €40 with a two course lunch and drink included! I come every year on a solo trip and always make great friends! See you soon!

Very nice hotel. Large pool, feet are everywhere, unless you're under 1.50 meters tall. There are plenty of spots for sunbathing, reading around the pool, or further away, depending on your mood, on a deckchair, a double garden bed, or a large round mattress. The staff is helpful and very friendly. The facilities are very clean. The breakfast buffet is very well stocked. The rooms are large and functional. We just wished for curtains on the bathroom and shower windows to block out the lights that shine outside all night. Hence the availability of blindfolds in the rooms. The staff is numerous and communicates loudly from the start of the shift until late in the evening, which is a bit disturbing when you want to sleep in (bring earplugs). Our stay was disrupted by construction work on a building within the hotel grounds. There was noise from drills, grinders, and angle grinders during the day. It's an unbearable situation for a guest who wants to rest. We would have liked to have been informed of this when booking or upon arrival.

[Nicolas and Sam, du 9 août au 16 août] A great enjoyable stay 🥰! The staff are very attentive, both at reception and at the bar! One of the cleaning staff looked after our room really well, he was lovely! The team were also very helpful in organising airport-hotel transfers and car hire on site. About the hotel's facilities: the swimming pool (and jacuzzi) is great and pleasant with a little background music coming from the bar. The view is unobstructed and it's great! The food is very good and so are the cocktails! Special mention for the breakfast every morning! The only point we can mention is perhaps a lack of atmosphere in the afternoons and evenings (no events or entertainment offered during our stay). Nothing too major but it would make the hotel more fun! We had a massage in the basement which was nice but we didn't have the chance to try out the sauna next door! About the room: it met all our expectations, the air-conditioning was efficient and very quiet, the bed was comfortable. Everything was clean. Thank you seven hotel 😍 !!

Visited the place only during the day, and instantly, I was smitten with a great, friendly atmosphere. Very good food served in restaurant. Large pool, vast area where everybody can find own space to relax and enjoy the sun. The place is an easygoing and highly recommended spot for a holiday.

I found apartments are basic and a little outdated but clean and tidy which is what i was looking for, clean. Did not have any issues with wifi connection, worked almost everywhere around apartments and pool. The price I paid is right for the accommodation. The only issue is that they are renovating some apartments and there is building work which did not bother me much when I stay in the apartment but disturbed me when I chilled around the pool. Short walking distance less than 10 min to the beach. Supermarket located in 2 min walk distance. Hair dryer supplied. The kitchen is very basic. Good water pressure. No Aircon. Banana plants planted around the garden are awesome:)

Overall it was a good stay, the staff were amazing and super friendly. It was my boyfriends birthday and they found out and came over to wish him a happy birthday which was a lovely gesture. Recommend this hotel as it was clean and great location.

A quiet place, due to being a smaller building compared to the rest. If you're on a budget and want to be able to relax, this is a good place for that. The building is old, odd smell but it's not that bad for the location and money. The staff was excellent.

The apartment was spacious, clean and had a good internet. In addition, the location was perfect! Supermarket and pharmacy really close (less than 100 meters) and the beach 1 KM away. Friendly staff and price low. I don't think I could ask for something better. Would highly recommend if you are working remotely and want a quiet place near the beach.

Staff are very friendly and helpful. They speak English too. The apartments are very clean and modern. Good value for money. The pool area is sunny, well kept and not too busy. There is a good waiting area with use of showers and luggage storage if you have a late flight which is a bonus. Stayed for 10 nights and was really pleasently surprised.

The first bungalow they gave us absolutely stunk of cigarette smoke - even though there are signs saying no smoking or you will be charged for extra cleaning. The extra cleaning in this case was an entire bottle of Febreze, I think. This did nothing to remove the cigarette smell and just made the bungalow smell of very strong Febreze and cigarette smoke. The smell was especially bad in the bedroom. We asked to be moved to another bungalow, but because it was 11pm when we arrived, you must go to Green Golf reception, as Sandy Golf reception is closed. Green Golf has no access to the Sandy Golf system so they cannot change the room if there is a problem. The next morning I went to Sandy Golf reception to ask for another bungalow, but the reception staff were extremely unhelpful (as usual) and initially refused to give us another bungalow saying the complex was full. It was only when I got out my asthma inhaler and said that the smell was making my asthma bad, that they reluctantly agreed to move us. They made us feel like they were doing us a favour, and they didn't even apologise for the inconvenience! We've had this unhelpful attitude from the same reception before when we have tried on a previous holiday here to upgrade to a superior bungalow. The Cordial website said they had superior bungalows available, but when I went to reception, the lady with the frizzy bleached hair said "no availability, it's full" without even looking at the computer. It was only when I showed her the website that showed superior bungalows available for the whole week that she agreed to process the upgrade. So it seems that the reception staff do not like to do any extra work... We've been staying here at least once a year for the last 10 years (except during COVID of course), but I don't think we will come back. The bungalows are now long overdue for renovation. We had a missing blind on the door; ceiling fans that make clicking or squeaking noises meaning you can't use them at night; air conditioner leaking into the kitchen cupboards which made all our food wet; bits of the kitchen cupboards falling off; plaster falling off the wall in the bathroom. The furniture is old and dated, and overdue for replacement. The bed was comfortable though. The gardens are nice, and the pool area is good. There are more than enough sunbeds for the amount of guests yet still people feel the need to leave their towels on them. It's really not necessary, as no more than about 25% of the sunbeds were ever used on a single day. As to the noise aspect, it's a lottery. You can equally be surrounded by old people, but then you have that one family with noisy children that spoil what would otherwise be perfect peace and quiet. Given the average age of the guests and the fact that the bungalows only allow 3 occupants, they really need to make this resort adults only, and let the families go to Green Golf. Special mention to Manuel (Mr Pork Chop) who works at the pool bar. He is by far the best member of staff at Sandy Golf and works very hard to please the guests. It's a shame the reception staff are not the same.

This was our first visit here. We have stayed at the Cordial Green Golf a few times before. Both are really good, great value. We were met by Samuel at the reception who was cheerful and explained everything very clearly, a great start. Our bungalow was quiet, very clean and the beds comfortable. We ate both in our room and out. Pool area is also clean, plenty of sun beds, and the bar area great.shout out to Manuel at the bar he also is excellent. There is a large supermarket nearby at Faro 2 so easy to get provisions. We walked to the beach and the Yumbo easily, both in our late 60’s. Highly recommended, we are planning to return later this year.

We enjoyed our holiday on Sandy Golf. Beautiful park, lots of green and very clean overall. The park is also located in a silent area, so no traffic noise or music from the neighborhood . We loved our stay and hope to come back soon.

3rd time here and can’t fault the accommodation, although you get the selfish people who are out at the crack of dawn putting towels on sun loungers then go to the beech all day, difficult for others to get a sun bed , can be annoying(maybe Cordial could put a policy in to stop this practice) Rooms were clean and spacious with your own piece of garden to sit and relax. complex is quiet at night so if you want to sit and have a night in you can. pool bar is reasonably priced and has a wide selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages as well as bar meals. I am unable to write about the restaurant as never used it but it always looked busy, staff were always friendly and pleasant and approachable and I would also recommend a trip to the lighthouse at Melolanores where you can find lots of lovely bars and restaurants also reasonably priced we will be looking to go back next year !!!

Front door locks to apartment do not work,... When you close door to your bungalow you can easily open door without key card,... Sandy golf have all year round bookings, however are badly maintained Very Noisy cleaners,. Every day spoilt by noise of cleaners, banging furniture about,... talking loudly at each other accross the bungalows Toilet does not flush very well! Cat poo all over gardens, lots of flies Drinks very expensive Old men constantly leering at you Something curious happens during booking process,... When proceeding through to payment the amount to pay increases a lot, becordial use a favourable exchange rate

Great hotel, come here yearly with my son. The staff are so accommodating and polite. Nothing is too much trouble. Meta on reception is the loveliest helpful woman.

Excellent site we were there for 4 weeks, Samuel was always available and brilliant. Quite site, with the Sister site just over the road, which could use their facilities too. Easy shuttle bus to Maspalomas and St. Ingles Would recommend

Avoid, avoid, avoid, oh did I say avoid? This was our second week of a two week holiday. We had been in Gold by Marina. There is no comparison. I would choose Gold every time over Casas Pepe. The only reason we didn’t stay two weeks at Gold was that Gold had no availability for us the second week. On arrival ask for a fan, no, insist on a fan. Air conditioning is only on a strictly limited timer. That wouldn’t be too bad a problem if it was working though but it wasn’t. There was no option to pay for a longer time at all. It was mid 30s when we stayed. We were in a ground floor apartment and couldn’t sleep with a door open due to cockroaches coming in. It was like an oven and we did not sleep at all. Eventually when a guy came to fix it, it worked for a few hours and then broke again at 8pm. Reception couldn’t help as they were closed at 5pm. No answer to emails, phone call or WhatsApp messages. Wall in the bedroom had food on it and on the headboard of the bed. Bedroom lights not working, shower running hot then cold, not a slight temperature change, a massive change from scalding to ice cold. Room servicing just consisted of clean towels once a week and pulling up the cover on the bed. Literally nothing else. Manager was not at the premises, we were told he is almost never there. So there was no option to discuss anything with him. The poor girl at reception was as helpful as she could be but really couldn’t do anything. We stayed here a few years ago and this time around we are very disappointed. We won’t be back. Save your holiday - book somewhere else.

The apartments are nice and in a good location, the pool area is very clean and relaxing, the breakfast is also good. After checkout it is possible to stay in the complex until 5 pm and there is a shower with towels and soap available. The kitchen could use some sharp knives for cutting. You have to pay extra for a safe which is already inside the rooms. You get a Spa visit with a lengthy stay but unfortunately they give everyone the same appointment. Therefore you are in a very small spa with 25+ people which has room for max 10 people in order to relax a bit. And no the spa is not always overcrowded 90% of the time it is completely empty which you can see from the outside. In addition of the nice appliances the Spa offers on the website 30% are nonfunctioning. The Appartement Air conditioning is also a joke as it will only run for a limited time per day which means you cannot enjoy your evening in the Appartement as it simply gets too hot. As a personal highlight the water just stopped working at all without warning or a chance to inform anybody as the Reception is only open from 9-16 with the emergency contact provided just stating they will look into it sometime tomorrow. We complained via Mail and at the reception but got no reaction at all. Sad because it could be such a nice place 5/5 if it were not for these inconveniences

Apartments and premises around were clean. All staff are very kind all the time, except receptionist. We paid for apartment with air conditioning. Upon our arrival we noticed thar air conditioning doesn't working very often. We repeatedly discussed this issue with reception and we found out that A/C is working only few hours per day which was terrible especially during the night when it switched off around 4:00. Of course you can't find out this restriction anywhere during the booking process. So what will be next ? Tap water will be leaking also only few hours per day ?

Lies about the spa facilities. It's never open! They will say it's full and they "booked you in but you missed your appointment" Really rude receptionist woman who implied we were liars and she told us when she did not. No ticket given, still lying about it instead of apologizing. Now they changed their reply!! The reception is always closed for a break, she barely works. TV didn't work. Air-con didn't work. Additional amenities are why we went and none worked. Wouldn't go again . At the end of the day the receptionist didn't even thank us or say goodbye. She was very rude but other staff were lovely, especially kitchen staff. We also emailed a complaint which she ignored, but can reply to reviews within a few hours.

3rd time we have stayed and it just gets better. Updated rooms with fresh water filter, great views and the best complex staff i have ever experienced. New breakfast room is great with a wonderful choice for every taste,however it should have remained optional and not be part of your booking. Also really admire the Eco approach here, well done guys. I have honestly never stayed in a cleaner complex with such focus on detail and the garden/pool area is beautiful. Would I stay again. ABSOLUTELY

It's very clean and nicely updated. In a quiet cul-de-sac. Populated mostly by senior Germans. Also has disability features (ramps, railings, etc). Location is close to the upper coastal walk - but you need to be good with stairs if you want to go down to the beach, as there are many. The area itself is not very charming. High walls around the different complexes, wide streets, lots of walking to get to dunes, the better restaurants etc. Pool is relatively small, but clean. Cocktails and other drinks served at pool. Breakfast buffet mostly eggs, meat, cheese, cake, bread. Some fruit, sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers available too. Not particularly vegan-friendly, but ask waiter for plant milk - he offered oat milk upon request.

Dissapointment. Why? We paid ocean view apartment. They gave us totally back-end apartment in rear part of the hotel, over reception with view on parking lot. They said, this is ocean view because it is their categorization. Even cheaper apartments would be better! When I complained, they didnt listen to me! Then we had another problem. No WIFI in the apartment. WIFI was working only on balcony. Insane! After complaint, do you know, what they told me? That I have to call to the external company! After this, nothing changed. They didnt provide any discount, any courtesy after these troubles. On top of that for 7 nights, we received only 2 small bottles of shampoo/shower gel, which is enough for 1 day. They did not provide more! That was weird! What we liked - breakfast and location. Thats it! I do not recommend this place.

Maypa 4. Been coming here since 2005... Nothing has changed, needs a refurb... The hardest bed you are ever going to sleep on, pillows or lack of, dust and sand everywhere, fridge freezer needs the skip and I have thrown out better kitchen utensils! two tiny wine glasses! Simply nothing of value here... Nice management and staff...good views

On booking it says no dogs allowed well this place owns several apartments in different blocks the rest are owned privately, we complained as above us were dogs barking and making noise all night . Very basic and needs money spent to upgrade, dirty bedding, sent a filthy blanket back to reception no apology, beware the water for a shower will only stay hot half way through shower and the next person will have to wait an hour before hot again, the reception said its a small tank !!? The electric kept going off ,turns out you can only use one electrical item at a time and one ring on the hob at a time, this is 2022 sort your accommodation out , terrible

Fantastic location by the beach. Buses and shops also nearby. Very good value for money. Helpful staff.

great price. All done on line. We were only passing through and needed somewhere for 1 night. Apartment quite roomy, little bit dated. Bed extra large and comfy. On a hill and had to use Google earth to find it. Would Def use again and looked more for younger type, though no noise or other problems.

There's no staff on site , all contact is by phone . So when there are troublesome guests there's no staff to deal with them . Room service consisted of clean sheets being left on the bed for us to change . We did get clean towels, and the bins were emptied .

Unsafe. Do not stay here. Our room was robbed overnight and company will not communicate with us, or comply with police report to provide CCTV. Beware of this company.

Great location, 5 minutes walk to beach and restaurants, 15 walk to Yumbo centre. Rooms are very basic but clean, comfy beds. No aircon, which was hard, we did have a fan but definitely needs air-conditioning. Towels need an upgrade very worn and thin. The pool area was good, and there was no fight for sunbeds. Would I stay again yes if they installed air-conditioning.

A great hotel for what we paid. Very basic amenities, although the kitchen did have a coffee maker, kettle and toaster in addition to fridge/freezer box and 2 cooking rings. The bed was comfortable, with a small tv over the bed. The balcony is very big, with doors from both the living room and bedroom. The cleaner comes 5 days a week, which is more than enough, we found. She was very good and doesn't come too early in the morning! The outdoor area is lovely, the pool is quite small but very nice to swim around in to cool down. The sun loungers were comfortable but they get very very hot in the sun, which took away some of the comfort as they needed to be completely covered not to burn yourself! As to the negatives with the hotel, when we got there we had to wait a long time to get let in through the gate. Nobody answered the intercom and a hotel guest had to let us in. One of the two receptionists didn't speak any English which made it hard to get help, but the other guy was great! Finally, although this was not at the fault of this hotel, it did severely impact our stay. Across the street was a building site which was very very noisy, especially in the mornings. This made it very hard to relax at the pool, which was a shame since it was a really lovely pool area. Overall though, an excellent stay.

Nice 1 bedroom apartment that we stayed in, great views ,beds and pillows could be better. No oven, but has top ring cooker, microwave, kettle and toaster.
