All perfect for vegans. Fantastic vegan Salmorejo. Very generous and reach portions. Hummus with vegetables very tasty and amazing. The best cold beer in Spain. Outstanding and lovable service provided by a adorable and kind lady. A beautiful surprise for vegans (even though the place of not explicitly for plant based eaters). Please, do not miss it, try it!!! Worth it!

The food tastes well, especially the orange cake is a surprise. With the orange flower, and the orange skin, all the things together tastes good. The goat cheese with honey sauce also very refreshing as well. Other foods also tastes really good. Will go again.

A gem! Staff super friendly and kind to this solo female traveler who only speaks a little Spanish. Food was delicious, juices great, cocktails the best (and strong!). Visited more than once. My favorite dish was Calabacin con queso y miel (warm zucchini and goat cheese with honey). Good music and vibe. Looks small when you poke your head in the door but it has a dining room in the back. Highly recommend!!

Went for breakfast twice during our stay in Cordoba - walking distance to our hotel Road Arruzafa. Nice sitting outside in the shade, a little crowded inside. Service was slow but prices were reasonable for an inner-city cafe-restaurant.
Peter S — Google review
No idea why Conde Nest Traveller would suggest spending any time here, an outer suburb, modern shop front selling some ok bread, treats and drinks. If that is all Cordoba has to offer in this respect better keep driving! BTW, there are plenty of places in town with better atmosphere and scenery

Café Viena is a popular spot located on one of the main streets in old Cordoba. It's known for its fabulous ice creams and offers a lively inside seating area as well as outdoor tables for people-watching. In addition to their famed helados, they serve coffee, hot chocolate, typical Cordoban pastries, beers, and wines. The café opens early at 8 am and offers regular Spanish breakfast sets at fair prices with efficient service.
Wonderful experience for our first cafe in Cordoba. Service was pleasant. Cafe latte extra grande was amazing. The croissant with egg and cheese was a 4.5. We would definitely go back. Do visit Cafe Viena. Loved it.
Mike P — Google review
Nice service, decent coffee (I ordered hot milk and I got it which it is not little) and pretty tasty bagel. The bread could be far fresher though they toast it so, it does the trick. Veggie options and lactose free milk available.
Lorena F — Google review
Busy cafe in the heart of Cordoba. Visited here to grab some breakfast before starting a packed day of activities. Recommend if you are a morning eggs person.
Ali — Google review
During the spring (April 2018) we had an excellent experience here. So if it is crowded, maybe look somewhere else. However, these guys have a LARGE selection of coffee beans from around the world if you are a connoisseur. The Mocha was way too sweet for our taste though. Free WiFi was a nice touch. There is a power outlet by the front table by the window, FYI! We sat here for an hour to recharge (pun intended 😂☕️)

Additionally, they offer the Pink Agatha with salmon, lamb's lettuce, and cream cheese.
Delicious and healthy food in a very cute and well-decorated place. Amazing staff and service, hipster feelings - zumos naturales, tostadas, fresh juice, toasts, bowl of fruit, yogurt, great coffee (sin lactose and soy milk options)
Lisandra M — Google review
Nice (little too simple) but expensive vegetarian toast €4. Terrible soya cappuccino - it was more like an americano - watered down so couldn’t taste the coffee much. No Wi-Fi. Service - average. Lovely interior and nice vibes. The waitress didn’t speak English.
David V — Google review
The place is extraordinarily. Kind of an hipsters place. Got here in the first opening minutes and this place just got full. Very healthy tasty and beautiful food. The place design is really cool and have great smells.
Omri S — Google review
Fun spot that offers a 3 course brunch experience, lively and bright flavors pair perfectly with the outdoor dining area. Our server was very helpful despite being the only person working and it being busy. Definitely a good spot to grab a bite and kill some time
Noah — Google review
Really nice place with good and healthy breakfast. The staff is really nice & polite and bilingual so there isn’t gonna be a language barrier if you speak English. The place is filled with positive energy and good music. I absolutely recommend this place for a good breakfast.
Gary G — Google review
Quaint little hole in the wall breakfast joint. Good selection of tostadas (toast) and their equivalents in croissant, sandwiches coffee and freshly squeezed juices. It was nice to have the croissant option as several days of tostadas can be a little rough on the palette due to the rough texture of the baguette like bread. So croissants a very welcome change! The freshly squeezed juices were really nice and perfectly blended with various fruits and veggies. Coffee could be stronger, but that could be a personal preference thing. Great for a nice morning start to the day of walking around town.
Dennis Q — Google review
This rather small cafe is a nice place to have a quick breakfast in the city centre, compared to other places. However, the food is rather average, even the croissant with ham and cheese had a sugar on top

Amazing cafe that offers a variety of delicious baked goodies and fresh coffee. The sandwiches are so fresh and tasty. Customer service is great and fast. The cafe has a patio with enough spaces but not a so great view. The prices are reasonable for the location.

This coffee serves large portion of dessert full of fat and sugar that seems to be its main attraction for locals. The cake I tested was good. The capuccino however was milk and coffee mixed, not what I would call a capuccino. Busy of local crowd on Saturday, but the staff seems to handle good.

Pasteleria Cordoba | La Sultana is a charming establishment that offers a delightful setting for breakfast or indulging in cakes. While it may not boast extravagant or contemporary confections, this pastry shop provides a nostalgic experience with flavors reminiscent of yesteryears. The delectable treats on offer are akin to those lovingly prepared by grandmothers.
My favorite place for breakfast! Fresh orange juice, Spanish toast with tomato and coffee uhm! And they even make their own bread and sweets!
Belen D — Google review
Frequented often by local and families with their children after school, this shop has a wide variety of dry pastries and cakes. I really enjoyed the pastel cordobés, but I cannot say the same about my other selections. I suggest trying different things as it is all dependent on your preferences, it helps that the pastries are inexpensive so test several! Because it is not visited often by tourists, learn how to order in Spanish and you will be fine.
Shaho V — Google review
Do not try, terrible experience. Eclair was out of date, not fresh. Other desserts also was not different. Coffee was good.

El Horno de Mel is a sophisticated restaurant located in the heart of Cordoba, Spain. The lush vertical garden and art pieces create a visually stunning atmosphere, making it a delightful experience for both the eyes and the palate. The restaurant offers impeccable service, with staff members like Juan providing professional and friendly assistance. Guests can enjoy a tranquil dining experience away from the bustling area around the Masjed/cathedral Cordoba.
Nice quiet place away from the noise and crowds of holy week. All the dishes were delicious! Oxtails, fish, eggplant, cashew blue cheese soup, baratta salad. Yum!
John H — Google review
A high-quality breakfast venue in the center of historic Cordoba. Slightly more expensive than other places, but value for money coupled with the peace and quiet is worth it. Service is perfect as well. Brunch main dishes are ok, but side dishes are small. Regular sandwiches are big enough though.
Sevgi A — Google review
Went here about 3 months ago for lunch and had a wonderful meal of local specialties that were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere, plants and decoration were so well done, relaxing and quiet. The staff were very nice and helpful with recommendations for what to get. We had a fantastic Rabo de Toro which was succulent and very flavorful. Their Salmorejo was also super tasty, in addition to their anchovy toasts. The coffee was also on point. Would highly recommend, and is close to la mezquita.
Kirk N — Google review
Fancy restaurant in the heart of Córdoba, we needed a quick bite before heading to the Masjed/cathedral Córdoba and this place was 2 minutes away of the Masjed so perfect choice for a quick bite. The place is so elegant and tranquil away of the buzzing area around the masjed. Coffee was great, cheese cake was super delicious and presentation was wonderful!
Ghada — Google review
I loved this place: a relaxing oase in the midst of a very touristy side of Cordoba, just a few meters from the Mezquita. I had both breakfast and lunch - had to come back because it seemed just the right place to recharge after the bust of the city. A lot of people skip on this place because there’s a very short corridor to the main dining room, which is not directly visible from the outside. Also, there aren’t too many seats - which makes this for a private ambiance and moderate noise levels. My breakfast was phenomenal. My pan con tomate didn’t need any salt nor pepper adjustments, and the avocado was on point. I could also chose the type of bread, and had a real espresso (which in traditional bars is harder to find if a good quality). When coming back for lunch, I had a salad and the citrus vinaigrette was so good . It was barely visible, but made the salad so elevated - the portion was also the tight amount, and I got artisanal bread. So, if you want to have Spanish classic (including cordovan couisine) with a sophisticated touch and a relaxed and fancy vibe… this is the place! Only spot to improve: I ordered a desert and I am allergic to raspberry. This was not included in the menu, but I got a raspberry sauce and had to send back the plate. It’s important that every ingredient gets listed in the menu when it comes to food intolerances or allergies. Other than that, I can only recommend.
FoodBasics - — Google review
This lovely restaurant is an oasis of tranquility in the center of the tourist area. Our group of four enjoyed the mazamorra, the berejena (fried eggplant), ensalada de burrata, and the Corvina. Although the majority of our group was skeptical of the eggplant, it was the consensus winner. The mazamorra was also splendid and distinctive. The fish was beautifully prepared but the least distinctive in flavor. Our servers were attentive and helpful, including recommending that we order one dish fewer than we planned, which is so helpful.

Manolas - Empanadas Cordobesas is a popular empanada bakery conveniently located near tourist sights in Cordoba. It's a grab-and-go place known for its modern empanadas with innovative flavor profiles and perfectly baked dough. The shop offers a good selection of interesting fillings and drinks for takeout only. Customers can enjoy their delicious empanadas on the go, making it a perfect snack after visiting the nearby attractions like Mezquita or Cordova cathedral.
Situated just outside the Mosque-Cathedral of Córdoba, this shop serves a wide selection of empanadas. We purchased two and asked for them to be warmed up—both were delicious and satisfying. What stood out the most was the shop attendant’s friendliness; noticing that I was taking photos, she kindly posed for me with a warm smile.
Sam L — Google review
We chanced upon this while walking around Cordoba... Susana was very helpful in choosing the variant... She gave her honest opinion on the flavors she recommended. She was very helpful! I wish I could eat the manolas empanada again as the crust was very buttery & flaky. Very very good! We liked the Chorizo Iberico and the Rabo de Toro among others. And, Susana was very kind, helpful and welcoming! 💜💜💜

Tasty pastry to enjoy in the cold weather. The oxtail ragu, Iberian ham and chicken kebab with yogurt sauce were simply delicious and pair very well with the perfectly buttered and crispy layered crust!
Qu33b — Google review
Tasty empanadas that's more on the flaky crust side than the doughy empanadas. - Iberico Pork Cheek: very flavorful that feels almost cheesy and sprinkled with rosemary on top that adds flavor. - Frankfurt: Don't recommend, just plain hot dog. - Chocolate with Hazelnut: Pretty tasty but wish there was more chocolate filling.

Highly, highly recommend trying the empanadas here! We stopped by Manolas after visiting the Mezquita Córdoba and got a pork cheek and white wine empanada — it was DELICIOUS! La Tranquera is a delightful culinary gem in Cordoba that beautifully marries the rich flavors of Andalusian and Argentine cuisine. This charming eatery shines with its standout entranas steak, while their empanadas, particularly those filled with Cordoba-style rabo de toro, offer an enticing blend of cultural tastes.
Stopped by for takeout and the service was exceptional and very patient as I tried to pick which ones I got. The empanadas themselves were really tasty too but the pulled pork was my favourite.

I recently visited this empanadas restaurant in Córdoba and had a generally great experience. The variety of empanadas was impressive, and the flavors were delicious. The service was friendly and efficient, adding to the pleasant dining atmosphere. However, a few of the empanadas were cold inside, which was a bit disappointing. Despite this, I would still recommend this place for its tasty offerings and overall good experience.

This is such a cool place. I'm not normally a big fan of empanadas. I mean, they're OK. If you're hungry. But these - are really well made, a wide variety of flavours and fillings, plus all kinds of beers, wines and soft drinks. Takeaway or eat outside.

We got a take out Empanadas to eat on the way home. They were tasty and delicious. It was still hot 10mins after we left the shop! Service was quick and easy!
Elisa W — Google review
Seeing that this place has a 4.9⭐️ score, we had super high expectations! I am happy to report, that they were even surpassed! 🙏🏻 Everything was delicate and delicious. The empanadas were fresh, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. The lady was super friendly- she helped us choose and advised us on the best deal. She spends enough time with each customer and doesn’t pressure us to pick. Would definitely recommend to visit this place, when in Cordoba. It is more than worth it!

Super tasty empanadas and friendly staff. Even went back to eat more. Its located next to a cute little square where you can enjoy them on a bench. Female owned business.

Small bakery , great service ! The lady of the counter was so kind and the empanadas were so delicate and delicious. Perfectly seasoned.

(Translated by Google) Highly recommended, both for having a good coffee with freshly made pastries and for buying daily bread. Out of 10 product, price and service!

(Translated by Google) Very slow service, when normally we are workers who have just enough time to drink coffee. I have had to repeat what I asked three times As constructive criticism, it gives a very bad image that they put the toast that is going to come out next to the other customers' dirty dishes, they should take care of that. And for the coffee to come to me like this... You have to take a little more care.

(Translated by Google) Tres Hileras is one of those places where you can see the attention paid to every detail. Their telera bread is spectacular: crispy crust, fluffy crumb, and a flavor reminiscent of traditional bread. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I'm a big fan of cheesecake, and this one was spectacular. My sister ordered a Cordoban cake with nuts, which was also delicious. A place worth visiting and returning to.

(Translated by Google) I'm giving it two stars because the breakfast is good and they have good food. However, we've been there for breakfast several times, and they're always very busy with very few staff members. You have to wait an awfully long time. The wait time is very long and underwhelms the rest of the meal. It's a great place to go if you don't have anything planned and can spend a good hour or hour and a half.

(Translated by Google) This is the second time I've sat down for breakfast and had to leave, tired of waiting to be served and chilled by the way customers who arrived after me were served. After complaining, the girl serving the bread simply said, "What can I get?" She meant to ask if we wanted any bread. In short, this establishment, at least on that day (Monday the 25th), had two girls, one serving at the bread counter and the other waiting on tables. The first doesn't care about anything, the second lacks the necessary qualifications for the job she does, so it's fine to buy bread at this place, but don't show up for coffee and breakfast. That's my advice.

(Translated by Google) We went for coffee, and it took them 10 minutes to take our order. I ordered coffee with cold milk, and they apparently didn't understand the "cold" part, because it was undrinkable, and to top it off, even sugar couldn't take away the bad taste—the coffee was very bitter and burnt. We had to ask for the bill three times because they forgot, and to top it all off, the bill came with the wrong one. It's a disaster; they need more staff.

If you find yourself in Andalusia, make sure to stop by Taberna El Salmorejo, where you can indulge in a delightful culinary experience. This charming eatery specializes in salmorejo, a creamy and thick tomato-based soup that hails from Cordoba. Unlike its cousin gazpacho, salmorejo is enriched with bread and garnished with diced Iberian ham and hard-boiled eggs, making it a hearty dish perfect for warm days.
Amazing food, wine & even better service!

(Translated by Google) Traveling from Navarre to beautiful Córdoba. We stopped by this tavern by chance, and it was a true pleasure. Mari Luz and Miguel are charming and attentive to every detail. And what can I say about their food? Well, it's exquisite! The baby broad bean omelet was a real discovery. We already knew the salmorejo, but they introduced us to the mazamorra, and what can I say? Each one was even better than the last. Trotters in sauce... Everything was 10/10. And to top it all off, the Cordoban pastry, something we hadn't tried before and which we brought back with us to Pamplona. Thanks for everything, everyone. Next time in Córdoba, we'll definitely visit you again. Best regards.
