1Black Barts RV Park

RV park
Black Barts RV Park offers a shady campground with an Old West atmosphere, providing spaces for both tents and RVs. The park features 175 RV sites with full hookups available for daily and monthly rates, as well as tent sites for short stays. Additionally, guests can enjoy the convenience of a general store and a laundromat on-site. The park's famous restaurant adds to the entertainment options available to visitors.
Easy in and out for camping or using their services. Reasonable rates to dump holding tanks and refill water.

We will begin with… many of the comments about this park are accurate. I will also say that our stay was fine. We didn’t spend the days in the park. We chose the area as base camp and did our exploring, so this worked. The park is overrun with seasonal or actually permanent living. The park is kept clean, in our opinion, but like anything could use some TLC. There is road and train noise, but expected when you chose a park off the hwy. We had concerns when booking as they never could give any confirmation number and when we arrived they did not have our arrival date correct but had the spot open. We decided to leave a day early. and they were happy to refund us a night. We would stay again if traveling through the area. As always just know your surroundings. Happy Trails Everyone 🕉️
Kevin K — Google review
Very close to the gorgeous vistas of Oak Creek Canyon. Easy on and off from I-40 and many Flagstaff amenities. Friendly staff. It’s an older park. I’ve seen a number of complaints about the condition, but it is well kept up considering the age. We asked for a pull through because we were towing a Jeep and they let us have the space behind us at no extra charge. The public rest rooms are not open, so you need to be traveling with your own. We used full hook-up with 30 Amp service. I would definitely recommend it you only need a night. Some of the sites seem uneven, but our was fine. Nice restaurant open for dinner.
Bob B — Google review
Don't do it! Although it's convenient to I 40, this place is unkept, unlevel, No Wi-Fi, extremely overpriced. They don't answer their phone, leave a message, she called 2 days later, charged us on $110 for 1 nite. they charge you when you get here because if they would have told me that when I called for the reservation I would have said no thanks.. Smart, once you're here, you're tired. You're kinda stuck. There is a Black Barts restaurant $$ on the grounds. $24.00 for a burger. This place is outragious
Barbara S — Google review
Bait and switch on the rates. Quoted a price over phone but charged almost $40 more. No posted rates. Military discount wasn't given as far as I could tell. Out to lunch even after he said he would be there when we arrived. We checked in and took the site he highlighted on their map. He claimed we took an extra long site which we didn't ask for
Warren R — Google review
Pros: easy off/on freeway location and diesel gas en route Cons: No wifi, no bathrooms, no laundry; a run down location with a majority of full time residents This was our fourth and last stay. Since October prices have increased over 10% with no positive changes. We paid $75 with a discount.
Mindy A — Google review
This RV park is a dump. It is the last place I would ever want to stay again. Unfortunately we were broken down in Flagstaff, Arizona and this RV park was the closest one to the maintenance shop where we had to take our motor coach for service. So as far as location, it was perfect. It is located very close to the historic district, grocery stores, restaurants and downtown Flagstaff. Their rates are $485 a week or $75 a day which I thought was a bit steep as they have no amenities. No bathhouse, no laundry facility, no pool, no anything. Over half of the RV park is populated by full-time and seasonal residents in varying states of disrepair and junk piled up everywhere. Unfortunately I failed to take pictures. Most of the roads are unpaved and very dusty. The pads are gravel with a picnic table on small cracked and distorted patios. The RV Park is located adjacent to a major interstate and a truck transfer lot, so there is a lot of noise. The water is hard but with excellent pressure. The 50 amp power never waivered, although our neighbor across the street had to continually run a generator because their power kept disconnecting. T-Mobile signal was good. Needless to say we won't be back again.
Anthony M — Google review
We went in paid for site then canceled. No bathrooms or showers on site no internet service, at 70+ dollars a night. When canceling I was told it is a seasonal campground and really not set up for overnighters. We drove another 25 miles and got all of above for 45.00 dollars a night.

Nestled away from the hustle and bustle, J & H RV Park is a tranquil haven for those seeking a peaceful getaway. This age-restricted park operates seasonally from May to October, providing an ideal escape with easy access to attractions like the Petrified Forest and Arizona Snowbowl. Guests can enjoy all-inclusive amenities such as electric, water, sewer, cable TV, wireless internet, showers, and even a grassy dog park for furry friends.
This was my first time camping at J&H RV Park. I made a reservation because it was listed as a senior park with no smoking and pet friendly. When I checked in, I met Angie who is very helpful, friendly and personable. I also met Gonzo, the kitty, who claimed the park as his own. The park is family owned and Angie said her father built it from the ground up 45 years ago. The special touches in the park make it feel homey. I was only staying for one night because I was passing through. But I can see me coming back to stay for a week or more. The park has laundry machines, showers and even a room just to relax in. There are big trees and lots of shade. Even the dog park area has shade and a little grass.

One of the nicest campgrounds we've been in. So clean, quiet and peaceful. Great location. Well managed. Bathrooms are so nice!! Beautiful trees and nice pull through sites. Enjoyed our stay here, wished we could have stayed longer!
Roxy B — Google review
Great RV park. Owners are fantastic and the campground is clean and quiet. Situated off the beaten path a little from I40, but well worth it. Beautiful scenery. Only stayed the night on our cross country trip, but after driving 13 hours that day this was a perfect stop.
Jeff S — Google review
Great spot to land just north of Flagstaff. Quiet and secure. We've stopped here multiple times over the past 3 years migrating to Oregon and it's always a good place to be. Didn't get to see the tortoise this time. ☹️
Cheryl H — Google review
Best RV park in Arizona! I would give a rating of 6 if I could! Super kind and helpful staff! J&H is family owned and ran. Extremely clean and well taken care of. Spaces are mostly level with gravel and easy hookups. They are very dog friendly, even have a dog wash. We highly recommend this park. 👍👍👍

This place was incredible and staff were awesome. Absolutely didn’t want to leave, very clean and very well located. Really enjoyed the outdoor patio. Thank you for a great time.

This was a fabulous RV Park. No kids no smoking A+++, also the nicest laundry facilities I have seen on our entire trip out west. Did laundry a lot here 😊 The owner is so friendly and cheerful and she had great advice of things to do in area! This is by far the best RV Park we have ever stayed in ! Thank you J and H for a great 6 nights stay in Flagstaff!

This Flagstaff KOA is a great place to stay if you're in the area for a weekend getaway. The campground features plenty of space for tents, trailers, and RVs, as well as several amenities like an outdoor pool, playgrounds, and fishing opportunities. There's also a convenience store on-site should you need anything else while you're here.
Super conveniently located in Flagstaff. Decent space between sites. Good prices during off and on season. Staff is always very friendly. We have stayed with the Flagstaff koa several times. We have tent camped, SUV camped, and brouught our cab over camper. They have seen us through our upgrades over the years and have always been a great location with great staff.
Zervantiana ( — Google review
The restrooms were horrible. Showers looked like they had black mold and the toilets yuck! The ladies in the office never answer phones. Had to go up to the office to speak with them regarding my sewer hook up, and they were just standing around talking or on their phones. I use to stay there in the past and it was wonderful. Not sure, if they have new management or what? They use to have a breakfast truck. It was great. They no longer offer it. Only reason I gave 2 stars is bc their service guys were great and very nice.
J M — Google review
We spent a week at this older KOA (probably built when Route 66 was new) while visiting the many sights in the area. You're surrounded by many mature ponderosa pines throughout the campground. The entrance to and exit from the CG are narrow and not well identified, and the CG sign is obscured by pines. Further, the entrance and registration area about half the size they should be to accommodate incoming campers. When we came in and parked our rig to register, another camper in a trailer rig tried to exit through the narrow entrance -- he would have clipped the front of our rig if I hadn't leaned on my horn to stop him. I then disconnected our toad, moved it, then backed up a good 10'-to-15' so that he could then proceed to exit through the entrance. The roads (paved) are narrow and the sites (gravel) are typical for an older KOA -- on the small side and not very level. We had a "premium" site that required we park our motorhome right next to the patio in order to get fairly level -- and then a huge tree was two feet away so that we couldn't open the awning. To top it off; parking there meant that the connections were inconveniently 20+ feet away. As we were there for a week, we took advantage of the laundry (clean), but there was no designated parking next to the laundry or bath house. Another major inconvenience. Balanced against these issues, the staff was great -- helpful and friendly, and the location itself is a good place to serve as home base for visiting many of the sights nearby. Our premium site had a nice patio, propane grill, firepit, and relatively new Adirondeck-style furniture. Wifi was adequate for some streaming, but slowed in the evenings. Overall, the CG was a mixed bag, but we'd stay there again if we were in the area.
Philip M — Google review
Great location and great camp site. Had lots of shade and room for tents. Staff was real friendly. Restrooms and showers were clean. We had a family reunion there and other family rented the cabins but everyone always gathered at our site because it was very roomy (site #136). I would definitely come back here.
Susan G — Google review
People at the front check in are great. Came in late and didn’t know I was already assigned a spot so I picked my own. Next morning they adjusted it so I didn’t have to move. Beautiful view and fresh air! Having an amazing time with my family!
Jazmin H — Google review
Lots of amenities, but the sites we stayed in were just ok. It was difficult to determine which site was ours and which electric/water was ours. Our neighbors behind us were extremely close. Some road noise at night but relatively quiet and peaceful. Flagstaff is great.
Lisa J — Google review
Our stay was mixed. Pro- the team accommodated getting us in a site that would fit us better, as the auto system stuck is in a small spot. Con- as we were getting led to our site, although we were told we'd clear a huge rock, we didn't...our leaf spring hanger broke. Pro- the team was able to extend our reservation and allowed us to have a mobile welder come fix us up. Con- having all the check ins in line at the front door, right where we need to drive to get to the dump, was very frustrating. We'll be back.... this was our 2nd stay, but first with a big rv.
Beth M — Google review
Great campground with even better staff! Kat helped us check in and was so nice and funny. We had a spot right by the restroom and laundry room, which was very convenient. Restrooms and laundry facilities were very clean and nice. Campground is very close to everything you need and the road noise wasn't too bad. It did not affect our sleep at all. Again, Kat is wonderful and a great asset to this park! Thank you for making us smile and laugh after a long, hard, windy day on the road 😊 🥰

Campground
Nestled in Flagstaff's Ponderosa Pine forest, Fort Tuthill County Campground offers a serene camping experience for both tents and RVs. The campground is conveniently located near attractions like Walnut Creek National Monument, Wupatki National Monument, Hatch River, Lowell Observatory, Mother Road Brewing Company, Sunset Crater Volcano National Monument, and Lava River Cave.
We stayed at the campground for 2 nights in our 28 foot RV pulling a 10 foot motorcycle trailer. Had a great experience there. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, the campsite was large and clean. We thought we were getting a pull-through site and it wasn’t, but was large enough to easily back up and pull out. Very quiet at night. We would stay there again.
Tim H — Google review
Lovely campground surrounded by many tall Ponderosa pine trees. I felt close to nature and the camp host was really friendly. I took 1 star off because they didn’t have electrical hook up. Most of the sites are dry/primitive, there are limited sites with water and sewer hookups. Many cute squirrels roaming around, and the location was far enough from the freeway, but still very accessible to it. Will return again.
Gail P — Google review
We stay on the military side and we will return. Only suggestion is to remeasure spots and place RVs and tow vehicles in the appropriate length spots. We had to tow one RVer out due to scraping of RV and Tow Vehicle, super sad and then another bus drove in at night and ripped off mirror due to thinner driving paths.
Evelyn J — Google review
This is one of the beautiful campgrounds you can stay at. Trees aplenty for hammocks. I’m gonna detail what MIGHT be a turnoff to other campers but I’m laid back and enjoyed my stay. If you’re tent camping and enjoy nature sounds, this may not be the place for you. The sites are pretty close together and while they have some rules about “amplified sounds” there were some dubstep enthusiasts who used a few JBL type speakers on and off during the day and there as also a guy cooking with what looked to be a blowtorch and sounded like a high powered fan. There is also an “extreme obstacle ropes course” which consists of a powered zip line that runs right through the camp and makes a decent amount of noise. Bathrooms are porta potties. When I arrived they were under a fire ban meaning only propane grills which worked for us. Because the camp sites were super close together, we also got some second hand weed smoke even though smoking was also prohibited according to the camp host. Overall we had a great time and the noise didn’t bother us because my 3 kids made plenty of their own noise before quiet hours and in the morning. Since we were on Texas time, the only downside for us was trying to keep everyone quiet until 7a (9 our time). We loved it. 10/10 for us, would stay again.
Jordan B — Google review
No. Hosts are county and somewhat professional. No one respects the rules. Overcrowded tightly spaced sites, if you want to wake up at 5:30am to idiots who can’t respect quiet hours this is your place. If you actually camp, just go out into the national forrest. Not worth it.
Sophia A — Google review
Unique campground. Very close campsites, no power, great camp hosts. Porta potties only. Great for a weekend exploring Flagstaff. Two nights of Rave music is one night too many. Concert next door was not conducive to camping. One night is tolerable. Two is too much. Please stop.
Michael K — Google review
This is a very nice campground with lots of spaces and lots of big pine trees. Great for tent camping, and some spots are big enough for RVs. There are potable water spickets throughout as well as porta potties and trash cans. Some spaces are very big, and some are VERY small, so if you have an RV, call ahead and ask which spaces will work for you. Another bonus, it's near Flagstaff!
Diana P — Google review
Campsite for tent or RV camping! Great recreation area and well maintained. Great for kids and adults, mountain biking, hiking, adventure zipline, bike course for kids, etc.

RV park
Nestled near downtown Flagstaff and conveniently accessible from major highways, Kit Carson RV Park offers around 250 spacious campsites for RVs, tents, and extended stays. The park provides various amenities such as full hookups, restrooms, laundry facilities, a dump station, mailboxes, RV storage, and pet-friendly accommodations with some restrictions. Additionally, the park's historical significance is tied to Kit Carson's travels in the area during the 19th century.
This is an older park. Spaces are large with plenty of room to maneuver. The best things about this park are the staff and the activities. Saturday morning - free coffee and donuts get together. Monday evening - bingo. Saturday night movie night. Pot luck twice a month. Women go out for lunch twice a month. Special holiday dinners. The staff - we could not have been treated better. From the manager, to the office staff, to the maintenance staff. Great people. At one time this park had problems. They have cleaned house. No issues at all in our two month stay. You feel like you are camping in the forest, yet only a mile to Flagstaff.
Jon K — Google review
I don’t care how desperate I am, I will NEVER stay here again. The roads are so poorly managed. The laundry facilities all smell like urine and don’t work half the time. For the outrageous price you have to pay, there are ZERO amenities or perks. It’s a giant dust bowl and all around just dirty. The new park manager is less than a pleasure to deal with. When my contract was up, it was never communicated to us that we had to come into the office to tell them we were checking out. Wouldn’t it be common sense that when my contract ended was the day I was leaving? I was given zero instructions as to what needed to be done and was then called to be told I had to come and rake my lot of pine needles and pine cones. Then I had to bag it all by myself. But don’t worry, they really helped me out by giving me 2 complimentary garbage bags. How generous. If the lot wasn’t raked how they saw fit, I was to be charged the daily rate until it was cleaned. I hate this place more than I can even explain. I will never ever recommend to anyone.
Kaitlin J — Google review
Very VERY quiet. Misc size lots. Elect, sewer and water. Clean. Good location to Flagstaff downtown area but still in the trees. Staff was very nice! Let us switch spots with no issues. Very friendly. A little high priced for the amenities offered but still a good place to stay.
Michele D — Google review
Great location off Rt-66. Very dusty. Bathroom and showers are clean but very small. Big pine trees. Bumpy roads inside. Sites are not very leveled.
Sachin J — Google review
This was simultaneously the worst and most expensive RV park on our 3000 mile tour of the southwest. The office was located away from the facility and we didn’t get to be greeted by anybody. You have to sign in with all your information and agree legally to all sorts of things long before you even see the place. The bathroom was small and cramped and had no hot water. our site was dusty and noisy and heavy equipment came by the road with lots of potholes. I don’t recommend this facility to anyone
Mary E — Google review
Stayed here before and made reservations again. Not much going for it any longer. Arrived and office had relocated a couple minutes away. Didn't tell us that when we called to confirm our reservation. Asked for more paperwork than any place we have ever stayed. Asked where to get propane and was told a place that doesn't sell it. Really incompetent staff. The campground was just okay but overpriced with hardly any amenities.
Lou C — Google review
The park roads and sites are nothing but mud. On the best days they are full of rutts that will destroy your vehicle, even at the posted 5mph limit and on the worst days are a sludge of mess that will have your tires spinning to make it to your site. The permanent dwellers have left the park so disgustingly over run with junk, trash, and general disrepair that the majesty nature that one might expect is ruined by the eyesore these rejects have strewn about. Dilapidated rvs porches fences and carports are the norm yet they still have the audacity to ask you to clean up the pine needles that fall on your site. The service is lack luster and you can expect to not have your call answered or even returned for days and days. The ponderosa that full the park are gorgeous but it's hard to enjoy with the state of the park. Avoid if possible.
Jay W — Google review
We personally wont be back. You need to send full insurance information on your rig and your truck before reservations can be made. Never have that in the three years we have been full time and been across the entire country three times. Once we pulled in we figured out why. The power lines are so low that the first three spots they wanted us to take we would have ripped down the power line. Finally took a spot we could barely get in to. Our trailer was so close to the power lines we weren't comfortable with a possible power arc. (See photos of our Montana) When we dumped our tanks to leave, the sewer started backing up and coming out of the drain and running on the ground. The office stunk like cat urine. We sadly will never go back.

There are so many wonderful things that I can say about Flagstaff RV Park. The RV spaces are nice and roomy. It is a very well kept and clean park. I love the fact that even though we were late pulling in we were still allowed to park in our assigned space and the paperwork was in a secured are ready and available for us to pick up. The host were very nice and went above and beyond what was expected. This is our 3rd stay here and it will definitely not be our last. Thank you Flagstaff RV Park for your genuine kindness that you extend to your customers. Mark and Lisa Matthews

A great RV park. Very nice and well-maintained campsites surrounded by beautiful trees. The reception was very friendly and professional. We were then escorted to our campsite and were able to fully enjoy our stay. The location of the RV park is ideal. It's quiet, yet Flagstaff is not far away. We really like it here.

Left Morro Bay, CA this morning and called Flagstaff RV and they had an available spot. SUPER nice & accommodating. The campground is beautiful, pine trees, nice, paved, they have 30 or 50 amp. We have a pull thru and a privacy fence, Next to highway but worth what we paid. Well maintained campground. Will for sure consider this place again as I have family in this area. It’s also on the outskirt of town but close to shopping areas

Convenient location and friendly staff. The park was easy to book, easy to find, and surrounded by pine trees. A washer/dryer is on site, but no showers or restrooms. But there are full hookups at all of the sites. The sites are well spaced, clean, and well maintained. There's even a hiking trail that you can only access through the park.

We have stayed here a few times in all seasons, and we like it so much that we keep coming back. Friendly and helpful folks, beautiful sites amid ponderosa trees, easy drive into town, good laundry room, and I especially love the trail out the back gate into the piney forest. Most sites are quiet, the ones near the road can have occasional traffic noise, but zero train whistle (which can be a problem in other parts of Flagstaff). Highly recommend

Great hosts! We showed up a day early, and Flagstaff RV Park, helped us out, providing a slot for our rv, even though they were renovating part of the park (paving!) and had limited space. So very clean, and an excellent location. Easy access to beautiful trails right among those tall pines. We would definitely stay here again!

Top notch campground. We stayed here a week making it our base camp as we toured northern Arizona. Absolutely great place with wide, private, level lots nestled in the northern pines. Laundry room was clean. Minutes from anything in Flagstaff. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here passing through but will definitely visit again when we have more time. The owner has recently taken over from his father and appears to be doing a great job! It is a great location to visit Flag and the Grand Canyon. Very clean with privacy fences and the beat feature is out the back gate.... miles and miles of prestine forest trails!!! CatnLis

Woody Mountain Campground and Bed & Breakfast is a tree-shaded campground that offers tent and 30-amp RV sites, as well as laundry facilities, bath houses, and a general store. Whether you prefer camping in a tent, RV, or a boutique room, Woody Mountain has various conveniently located options to choose from.
We really enjoyed our stay at Woody Mountain Campground. The location was great, close to town but felt secluded and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful every time we needed to interact with them. Our pull-through space required a bit of leveling but it wasn't a big deal. The hookups were in good condition and everything worked as expected. It was great to be surrounded by such a friendly and fun community of fellow campers. Quiet time is respected, which we appreciated. A huge bonus was how pet-friendly the campground is—our dog had a blast making new friends on our walks. We can't wait to come back and visit again!

This is a beautiful camp ground and friendly staff for the most part. I had a question about an extra charge while checking in and the gal couldn't really explain the charge, just said it was correct. I didn't feel like getting into it at the beginning of our trip so I let it go. The rest of the staff we dealt with throughout the weekend was fantastic. The entertainment on the patio was lovely. The location was fantastic. I will say it here as a warning for others, the trains are LOUD during the very early morning hours. Luckily, my husband and I and our kids love the trains and could easily sleep through them, but if you're a light sleeper, beware. We would absolutely camp here again.

We love staying at Woody Mountain Campground. We just stayed there this weekend for our 3rd time (for our daughter’s birthday)! They’ve made some additions and renovations since our last trip. We love the convenience of the full hookup for our toy hauler. The staff is very friendly. They provided a free coffee and free glass of wine for my daughter’s birthday which was very nice! We will definitely come back!!

Wonderful campground nestled amongst tall pines. Fresh air and perfectly laid out park. The staff is the friendliest out of many campgrounds we have stayed at across the country. Really nice and well provisioned store with a great wine bar and outside sitting area. Level very maintained sites. Showers, bathrooms and laundry areas are clean and plentiful. I would definitely recommend this park. Thanks for providing a nice relaxing park!

Stay here if you can!! We just spent 2 nights in one of their rooms and our friends rented an RV spot. The rooms are updated and so nice!! The heater was a little noisy, but other then the it was perfect with a very comfortable bed. They have an amazing little gift shop that has a coffee/pastries or breakfast sandwiches and little wine bar with a patio. They even had live music for a few hours last night.

We were not expecting to stay at this RV park for 10 days, however our truck broke down and we had to wait for it to be repaired. Heather and Willow were extremely accommodating and happy to help us. We had an enjoyable time on a Saturday night sipping Arizona wine and listening to music on the back patio. We have been to many RV parks and feel the employees here went above and beyond normal service to make us feel welcome.

Had a great week in our Airstream Daisy camping at Wood’s ! We absolutely loved our time there l, wish they would have been able to squeeze us in for longer. Chris and Heather have done a great job with entertainment and fun. Live music & bingo. We can’t wait to come back! Close to downtown and lots of great hiking. Lake Mary was a beautiful quick drive away. Honestly all the people working there were very kind and helpful as well. 🩷

Had a lovely two night stay in the tent sites! Nice sized tent sites (we have a 6 person tent) among the pines. The bathrooms were a little far from the tent sites so be prepared for a little trek. Absolutely loved the little shop, the sitting patio, and the coffee was sooooo good. Staff was wonderful and welcoming. Great location, however, great location in Flagstaff means close to the tracks, so we had a lot of train noise all night, and lots of construction noise during the day (but honestly that's fine because my toddler loves construction trucks XD) But otherwise very chill and peaceful atmosphere.

Fort Tuthill Luke AFB Recreation Area, nestled in the Coconino National Forest, offers a variety of lodging options and outdoor activities. The RV park provides water and electric hookups, picnic tables, and charcoal grills. Guests can stay in yurts or spacious family cabins with comfortable beds and wood stoves for warmth. This secluded resort is an ideal getaway for military ID card holders at reasonable prices. The A-frame cabins are particularly noteworthy for their simple yet stunning design.
I recently got back from a 4 day Grand Canyon rafting trip and couldn't have been more pleased. Before we even arrived, Cody was incredibly helpful with all aspects of communication leading up to the trip. The group was small, 12 people to four guides, so we felt very well taken care of and it was always obvious that safety was key. The views were phenomenal, and there were options to alternate between floating and actively paddling depending on your comfort level. Also, I was very impressed with the food. This is not a hot dogs and baked beans kind of camping. We ate incredibly well and it was obvious that a lot of planning went into making the meals a comforting respite in a place when we're otherwise out of our element. I don't think there's any chance you could get a better experience through private companies. If you're thinking about doing this, don't hesitate. It was truly a bucket list experience!

Not what it used to be. Stayed in one of the A-Frames. The A-Frames are in need of repair. I used to go many times over the last 34 years but haven't been for at least 5 years. Kitchen utensils and pots and pans are piecemealed and insufficient for cooking. Microwave needed to be replaced. Our refrigerator didn't keep our food cold. Reported to staff and they stored it until the next day when the fridge could be repaired. At $245 a night, I expected more. As usual you have to empty your own trash and wash anything used in kitchen. This is not a problem but the folks who cleaned the cabin after the last folks left an envelope for a tip. I didn't understand that as we never saw any cleaning staff our entire 4 day stay.

My family was so excited to stay in these cabins. We have stayed in lots of cabins and understand wild life is normal. Except these cabins are not well taken care of. We walked in and walked straight into spider webs. The refrigerator was gross. Then when I went to get my kids ready for bed a wolf spider popped out of the blankets and another from under the pillow. We had 2 nights booked and my kids were too freaked out to lay in the beds ( not lying, I was too). As my husband went to clean dishes spiders crawled out the sink. We understand wildlife but have never encountered them inside cabins. Unfortunately, we left the same day.

Awesome RV park with a hotel and cabins. Quiet and relaxing, clean and spacious. RV spots are different sizes, no sewer connection. Good Verizon and T mobile services. Big playground and a lot of walking trails.
Kaja S — Google review
Overall a great location for a frugal getaway, in comparison to the local lodging available. We stayed in the hotel room which had ample space but is in desperate need of update/renovation. No AC but we came in the fall so it wasn't a big deal. The fan in our room was terribly off balance so we only ran it at the lowest setting. The room has a good sized refrigerator, microwave, and TV. The king bed was okay in terms of comfort but it also doesn't come with a comforter, but a blanket that isn't very comfortable. Finally, the room was clean but we did find some build up of dust in certain areas. The property does have a playground and the cabins look nice. The coffee shop has some snacks and great coffee. Good choice of rental equipment at an affordable rate for any season! Location is great with a quick drive to Snowbowl, NAU, or downtown Flagstaff.

We got invited for closed friends whose husband is a veteran for RV camping. Place is so beautiful. There is an electricity to hook and water and sewer. Play ground for kids, I love forest and pines. It's perfect place if you want to get away from the heat.

Somewhat quiet unless they put a camper full kids right next to your tent site. They really need to separate people with kids and people without. Site is set in a valley, so no cool SW breeze. Horrible cancelation policy. If you can't make your check in date, you will still be charged a full day unless you cancel 48 hours in advance. You will also be charged 1/2 a day rate if you leave early.

Walnut Canyon National Monument, located less than 9 miles east of downtown Flagstaff, offers a glimpse into the ancient cliff dwellings of the Sinagua people who inhabited the area from 600 to 1400 AD. The main cliff dwellings feature structures carved and built from local stone and mortar, showcasing the resilience of these ancient inhabitants.
This was one of our favorite stops on this trip. The views from the visitors center are very good. We took the walk to the bottom of the canyon it was very cool but very strenuous. There were a lot of stairs. We made it fine but had to take our time. The staff in the visitors center were very friendly and informative. They gave Thomas an application to fill out on the tour. Then he was swore in as a Jr Ranger. He was very excited. I would recommend the hike if you are able. It was a beautiful place, and you get to see ruins up close. There is an easier trail along the rim with great views from a distance if you are unable or short on time for the canyon trail.

The rangers and volunteers here are so kind and sweet. Loved this park so much. Love that its less crowded too. Ive been to a few with native dwellings. I plan to see all of them. This one is in the top 3. Beautiful views.

The history here is incredible, what a great place to visit. You need to know that it is not a quick in and out if you want to hike the whole trail, and there are a billion, or maybe 10 billion stairs. 😄 But it really is a good hike, read up on it a bit before you go so you can see the significance of this awesome place. The visitors center has restrooms, information, and a small gift shop. There is the Rim trail also which is shorter and flat, in case the stairs are an issue. Plenty of parking too, I highly recommend.

Wulnut Canyon was a surprise for me and I would recommend to visit this place. Amazing walk and tour through the Canyon. There's a parking place on the front and you pay the National Park entrance fee what is valid for next 7 days if you visit again or other things in National Park. It's not valid for the Grand Canyon, you pay for that separately.

A Hidden Gem on the Road: Walnut Canyon National Monument During a road trip, we discovered Walnut Canyon National Monument by surprise, and it turned out to be a truly beautiful and unexpected place. It's a slice of nature that hides from the highway, revealing a spectacular landscape with ancient ruins. A Place to Explore and Enjoy: The park is very well-organized and maintained. The facilities are clean, including the restrooms, and the staff is very friendly. Although it was a quick visit for us, we realized it's a place where you can stay as long as you like. There's a picnic area with breathtaking views of the canyon, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. The site has a visitor center, a souvenir shop, and, most notably, trails that lead down into the canyon. These paths allow visitors to get a closer look at the ruins, which are like "houses" built into the canyon walls by past civilizations. Although we didn't have time to do these hikes, they looked safe and well-marked. A Worthwhile Destination: In summary, Walnut Canyon National Monument is a tranquil and beautiful place that is definitely worth visiting. It's a perfect addition to a road trip and a gem we hope to explore with more time in the future.

Absolutely beautiful place! The scenery is breathtaking and the trails are very well maintained. A special thank you to Ranger Lucy — she was so kind, caring, and incredibly patient with us, even though we arrived about 20 minutes before closing time. Lowell Observatory, established in 1894 by Percival Lowell, is a renowned hilltop center dedicated to the study of astronomy and solar system evolution. The observatory offers tours, solar viewing, and stargazing opportunities for over 100,000 annual visitors. Home to several telescopes and the Navy Precision Optical Interferometer, it also conducts pure research in astronomical phenomena.
Great experience, for both adults and kids. Had telescopes pointed towards Andromeda Galaxy, Saturn, the moon, a nebula.. was wonderful. I paid a total $70 for both of us, got to see constellations too, mapped out for us.. it was beautiful. Highly recommend.

We stopped here on our recent trip to Flagstaff. We are very happy that we did, even though the sky did not cooperate during our visit. They have a few very nice telescopes that they let the public view through. The history of the facility is just as impressive. I had no idea this facility is where the dwarf planet Pluto was discovered. There are a lot of nice displays and exhibits to interact with. The staff were all great. The shows in the auditorium were fun and informative. We definitely recommend stopping in and checking the place out.

What a wonderful place to visit for the whole family! Toddler play room, interactive room for all ages, demos and talks. Looks like these guys thought of it all. Very beautiful campus to walk around. Definitely go see different telescopes they have and take a look at the sun and the sun spots during the day. Make sure to come back at night because this place is happening! You will see a variety of celestial object in the sky through telescopes and with a naked eye. Make sure to ask questions. Everybody who works here is super friendly and will gladly engage in a conversation about all space matters ❤️

I cannot say enough good things about this place. It was absolutely amazing. I live in Colorado and I have no problem making the 8 Hour Dr. back exclusively to visit this place. The staff is wonderful, the amenities are very nice and clean, it’s incredibly family, friendly, and well designed, and the night viewing is fantastic. One of my favoriteplaces I’ve ever gone to.
Michael R — Google review
My first visit was a fantastic experience! The live constellation show, while an additional cost, felt like a worthwhile investment for a complete nighttime experience. There are plenty of exhibits to explore, making it easy to spend a lot of time on the grounds. The auditorium show was a definite highlight, with the immersive elements truly enhancing the sense of scale. For those planning a visit, I'd highly recommend checking the moon phase beforehand, especially if you're interested in the rooftop observation. When the moon was nearly full, it made spotting constellations more challenging, as they were often positioned behind us, away from the observation area. It was also difficult to see the guide's laser pointer due to the bright light. Planning around the moon's cycle could help you get the most out of this particular part of the program."

WOW. That's all ai have to say about the updates and new visitor center. I took my family today and had a wonderful experience. The exhibits are educational, but so much more! They are interactive with sensory based learning, and everyone left with new knowledge. I have always recommended Lowell and now I can be even more enthusiasts about it. Bravo.

I really enjoyed the brisket dinner with the southwest corn on the cob. Brisket wasn’t overly dry and it’s served with the fat cap. The southwest sauce on the corn really set it over the top. Cajun Chicken Alfredo was good. Their rhubarb pie was exceptional and so was the vanilla ice cream which is an additional charge (which I don’t approve of). Our service was okay. A little weird. Can’t put it into words. Worth going to. Tell me how the cookies are!

This place had great reviews, but honestly, it was probably the worst BLT that I’ve ever had. I don’t even think they had a real mayonnaise. The bacon was cooked early in the morning and it tasted very dried out and flat. We were so excited by the reviews on Google, but we got so disappointed by the food. Not even bad taste, they served us old/bad food covered in curry so that we wouldn’t notice. I feel so sorry to post this. The fresh food was naan, veg curry, rice. The main dish chicken tandoori, shik kabab etc were not fresh; tasted very bad. Only naan tasted good. I hope people get at least fresh food that they went in for at your restaurant.
Anup B — Google review
The best Indian restaurant in Flagstaff. I actually think the food is almost as good at Himalayan Grill (their naan is a little better but I prefer the curries at Dehli Palace), but the service here is easily the best in Flagstaff. It's one of the only restaurants here that doesn't feel constantly understaffed, and everyone in the front of house is always super friendly and helpful. I've never felt like I had to wait for anything, including drink refills or clearing finished dishes from the table. There's lots of places in town to get good food, but not many where you'll get a true service experience. Anyway, the food is also very good. Tender meats, nice thick curries, generous portions, and strong flavors. The only thing I've ordered that I didn't really care for were the pakora. Too much batter.

Black Barts Steakhouse, located on East Butler Avenue in Flagstaff, is not your typical steakhouse. It offers a unique dining experience with waiters and waitresses performing musical revues while serving classic mid-western corn-fed beef cooked in various ways. The Wild West-style space provides a saloon-like atmosphere where guests can enjoy their meals while being entertained by talented singers from all over, including NAU theater majors.
I recently completed a road trip through Arizona: Tombstone, Tucson, Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa, Scottsdale, Winslow, Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon. I had researched many restaurants before the trip started This way I could have a variety of cuisines, and also pick local restaurants rather than chain restaurants. I saved my steak night for Black Bart's Steakhouse in Flagstaff. It was already highly recommended, and it had an Old West theme that makes extraordinary. I had the 16 oz bone-in ribeye with baked potato and house salad. I added smothered mushrooms and an iced tea. The meal was excellent. Even though I ate at the bar I had appealing decor and prompt service.

The cheesy bread appetizer was the best I ever had! I would stick with their regular menu items over the specials, especially the bone in ribeye. It wasn't bad, though. Just not something I would order again.

Been here multiple times over the years, always good food and service. Always enjoy brining new people to experience the entertainment and great food. Today the free biscuits were on the dry side, we just let the staff know then boom within minutes fresh hot biscuits. They didn’t have to do that but they said they wanted to make us happy. Appreciate it! We will be back.

We went to dinner with friends. My husband ordered hamburger, twice baked potato, garden salad. I ordered grilled chicken sandwich, roasted red potatoes, Caesar salad, friends split a sampler plate of prime rib, ribs, chicken, with French fries and garden salad. Husband thought the burger was ok, and claimed the twice baked potato was odd…chunky pieces of potato in it and the cheese on it was crispy - weird. My grilled chicken sandwich was dry, and it tasted burnt, so I took the piece off meat out and it was very charred on one side - yuk. The red papers were ok, just a little dry. Friends thought their chicken was dry, ribs were ok, prime rib was good. We all liked our salads! Our servers were fantastic- happy, hard working, attentive, and singers! The best part of our evening was the entertainment they provided. Really amazing. Loved most of the songs they sang. We only wish the mic system or speakers were better, because when they needed to sing soft or gentle (which some songs require) they were more difficult to hear. But they’re amazing! Piano player was extraordinary! Send like many of the waiters/entertainers are music majors at the university. We would return for the music!

Well, a great place! Excellent food, live music (a piano man and waiters and waitresses) from musicals but not only. One of the higlights of my trip #twentyandmanymore across the States

Going into this place you think your walking into the roughest toughest place in the west. Upon sitting down, ordering my drink a waitor jumps on stage, grabs a mic. And starts saying, "Be......Our.....Guest!" And suddenly the whole staff jump in singing and dancing! I almost fall out of my seat out of laughter thinking what am I witnessing here?! Ill tell you a family friendly restaurant ran by a drama theatre club! Each staff member is able to sing their own Broadway song. The pianist is a master of the keys! What's crazy is that it's a restaurant! The food was amazing! Perfectly cooked and will presented. This place is out of this world! The food! the atmosphere! This has got to be the best family restaurant I've ever been to. If you get a chance to come here, please do. You will not regret it.

A wonderful place to take a break and soak in some Arizona ambiance! We stopped with a group so our food was mostly pre-prepared thus a bit less flavorful than if you order when you arrive. However, the food was good and service was prompt and friendly. If you like show/movie tunes, this is your place, as the wait staff is also your entertainment and they all have great voices (well done)!! Thanks for a memorable evening!
Randy N — Google review
The food amazing quality and flavor! The ambiance is a just phenomenal. The servers sing and I do not mean in a corny way but are your entertainment! They were all up there singing grease and beauty and beast and then individual songs as well no teleprompter either. All the while providing prompt excellent service. Definitely will be back when passing through or in the area and recommend to everybody and anybody. The prices are not unreasonable when you consider all the food and entertainment! Reservations a must but was easy as calling them.

Mexican restaurant
Restaurant
MartAnnes Burrito Palace, a family-owned Mexican restaurant established in 1982, is renowned for its flavorful dishes and vibrant atmosphere. The menu features spicy green-chile pork posole, house-made spicy chorizo and scrambled eggs, and savory banana split French toast. The oversized burritos are particularly popular, with options like bean and cheese or la chimichanga. The restaurant also offers all-day breakfast with highlights such as the famous chilaquiles.
This is hands down the best Mexican food we’ve ever eaten and we eat Mexican food a lot at home. The waitress said all the sauces are homemade, it tastes like it. Me and my husband got the same meal, sour cream chicken enchiladas. I got it with the green sauce, he got his with the red sauce. Both were amazing!!! The best food in flagstaff that we’ve had. The waitress was wonderful, very kind and down to earth. Would definitely put this place on your list if you’re in or coming to Flagstaff!

My husband and I are visiting Arizona for our honeymoon (we're from Ohio) and this was one of the first places we decided to try out! And we're so glad we did, some of the best Mexican food we've ever had! Love the atmosphere and the music. Staff is very attentive and friendly, and the food is amazing! We also loved the beautiful art on the walls, definitely gives MartAnnes a unique kind of charm! We visited twice during our stay, can't say enough good things about this place. Highly recommend, if we're ever in Arizona we'll definitely come back! Much love from the Newbolds 💙

Incredible food, service & atmosphere. The flavors were so addictive that I had trouble stopping despite being stuffed. The portions were very generous. I would absolutely make time for this restaurant again on our way thru town and highly recommend it to anyone who wants a great meal experience.

This place is 10/10. The food was amazing. I got JB's Volacano (an interesting and delicious take on classic chiliquiles) which was amazing. The meat and chili were incredible. My lady got the BLT which was also 10/10. Lastly, we got a happy hour mango margarita and it was sweet - with a punch! Service was fast and the hostess/waitress was very nice. Would definitely recommend, especially for travelers from out of town.

I originally chose this restaurant for brunch because I saw they did breakfast all day, but then I read a review that someone had breakfast tacos here which are my fav and I insisted we go 🌮 Our meals were SO delicious and they give HUGE portions. They are vegan and vegetarian friendly too! I ordered the chilaquiles and instead of meat I got grilled seitan- soooo delicious! My friend got the enchilada y huevo and said it was great. He also got a side of pancakes and they were so big he couldn’t finish them! I got an horchata latte and it was amazing 😋 we both enjoyed our hashbrowns and he said his coffee was just what he needed ☕️ beautiful art all over the restaurant and it’s for sale. The wait wasn’t long (busy on a late Thursday morning is a good sign to me!) and the seating in the waiting area is comfortable. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to my out of town guests- bring them here! Gavin our waiter was really cool, you’ll be well attended if you sit in his section 🍽️ We got lucky and parked right by the door but the lot isn’t super big and someone asked us for our parking spot when we came out. In a great location downtown, convenient to so much 🌇

We enjoyed our meals! Really don't have any complaints. Our waitress was super patient and helpful with our food choices since it was our first time there. The only bad thing was they had no Flan... sad 😞

Favorite breakfast in Flagstaff. Very generous portions. The service was friendly and fast. The Jbs volcano was more of a platter than a plate. Containing plenty of delicious offerings. I had the best Orange juice I've ever tasted. The art on the wall is awesome, unique, locally made, and for sale. You gotta check this spot out.

The Museum of Northern Arizona offers a comprehensive look at the history and culture of the Colorado Plateau, spanning from 15,000 B.C. to the present day through its exhibits and artifacts. Established nearly a century ago, the museum has deep roots in preserving Native American artifacts and culture with early employees being local Indigenous people. Collaborating with members of 42 Colorado Plateau tribes, the museum's exhibitions are carefully curated to provide historical and cultural context for objects and photographs.
Amazing and very interesting museum. Big enough to walk around and see plenty of stuff. Not too big to tire you out from walking and reading. Bathrooms are available in more than one part of the museum and the court yard is beautiful. Many artifacts, plenty of seating available. Lots of activity sections for children. The gift shop is expensive but if you have the money then the stuff is extremely nice to get. The staff was courteous and pleasant. Plenty to learn about the history of the natives, the land, and the symbolism in the art work. Highly recommend visiting for all locals and tourists. $18 a person. Discounts for students and native Americans. Children under 10 are free. Ticket is for all day. You can leave and come back the same day.

Beautiful & respectful accounting of Indigenous history & interesting evolution of Earth Science! We were there for about 3 hours, and captivated the entire time. For parents with kids of all ages, (mine are 18), each room had interactive activities for them to learn interactively. A must-see in Flagstaff, AZ!

Very quiet place, great for kids to learn some history. It has some trails you can walk outside as well. Very interesting stuff but I wish it was more interactive. The gift shop prices were insanely highly. But overall a good experience.

I spent a morning at this wonderful, beautiful museum and plan to return in the future. The staff are welcoming, helpful and responsive to questions. There is accessible parking and the outside setting is beautiful. I was most interested in the history and ways of life of the first people and was delighted by the artifacts and detailed explanations. One of the distinctive aspects of the museum is its focus on history, art and their intersections. It would be easy to spend an entire day, immersed in this well presented discovery/learning environment. In sum, it was time well spent, a lifetime memory.

Karma Sushi Bar Grill is a cozy Japanese eatery located on the Route 66 strip in Flagstaff. It's known for its tantalizing selection of sushi, but also offers options for non-sushi lovers. Voted as the best sushi in Flagstaff in 2019, Karma Sushi Bar Grill is renowned for its fresh and exotic tasting sushi, including signature rolls like the Lucy.
Wonderful atmosphere, the ramen noodles in the ramen were absolutely delicious. There weren’t too many toppings which is oddly satisfying because you can really focus on the broth and noodles. A bit expensive but I think the atmosphere makes up for it. Probably would only go during happy hour though, just for the sake of prices :)

We stopped by Karma Sushi Bar Grill in Flagstaff and overall had a good experience. We ordered the Karma and Instant Karma sushi rolls, along with the lobster tempura bites from their specials menu. The lobster bites were tasty but were mostly breading, especially for the $18 price point. The ramen was good, but the noodles were a little different than what we expected. As for the sushi, the flavors were good but the rice was a bit mushy this time around. That said, the service was great. Thomas did an excellent job letting us know that the sushi bar was a bit backed up, so we really appreciated the communication. They brought out our ramen first, and about 15 minutes later our sushi and appetizer arrived. We’ve been to Karma before and have had great experiences, so it seems like they were just extra busy this time. We’ll definitely be back

We stopped by Karma Sushi Bar Grill and ordered the Volcano Roll the Vegas Roll and some edamame to start. Everything was fresh and flavorful but the highlight of the night was definitely the Vegas Roll. The combination of textures and flavors was perfectly balanced and it stood out as one of the best rolls I have had in a long time. The Volcano Roll was also tasty and had a nice kick but the Vegas Roll was truly unforgettable. Beyond the food the service was excellent from start to finish. The staff was attentive without being overbearing and they made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. It really added to the overall experience and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. If you enjoy sushi this place offers a good mix of creative rolls and classic favorites. For me it was the Vegas Roll that set the bar so high and it is the kind of dish you keep thinking about long after you leave.
Alexsandra U — Google review
The service here was very good. The workers were nice, professional, and the food came quickly. The fish here is great, but the rice is not sticky or sushi rice so the rolls and nigiri were falling apart. They have changed their 12 pc nigiri combo, you no longer get 12 types of fish, but 6 types, which was disappointing. The fried rice had good flavor but the rice was overcooked and mushy. Could have been an off night with the rice, but the flavors were good and fish was fresh. The best thing I had was the Surf and Turf roll. That wagyu beef tartar is amazing.

We had gone to karma a few years ago and had no complaints but just never went back. This week we walked into the “bar side” and had a fabulous choice of sushi, sashimi and rolls to choose from. Pizza restaurant
Italian restaurant
Pizzicletta is a cozy Italian-inspired pizzeria known for its exceptional wood-fired Neapolitan-style pizzas that cook in just 90 seconds. The restaurant has gained a reputation for drawing pizza enthusiasts from far and wide, with some traveling over two hours to savor the delectable offerings. The menu features a variety of pizzas, including vegan-friendly options and unique combinations like bacon and shallot.
Good stuff! We sat outside on the patio, which is the only way to go in summer in Flagstaff. The vibe was great, the service was wonderful and the pizza was extraordinary! We got a red sauce pizza and a white sauce pizza. Both were fantastic. They both had a twist to the classic that set them apart. Its thin crust pizza yet not crispy. Seating is a bit limited even though its a big place due to a really large table inside that takes up a lot of space.
David P — Google review
The dough is odd - it lacks the big bubbles of a proper Neapolitan-style pizza (I assume from underdeveloped gluten), but still has high moisture. The result isn't quite tender enough and mostly brings to mind undercooked sandwich bread. It helps to fold it over so you don't have to eat the crust alone. The margherita's mozzarella is spread too wide, which results in an overly homogenous flavor, mostly dominated by cheese with the occasional burst of basil. The tomato didn't come across much, but where it did, it tasted overly processed. The amore oi mari was pretty solid. I think American food tends to work better when there's more going on. I can't tell whether it's the supply chains, the chefs, or it being made for an American market - but that's why I call it "American food". Service, atmosphere: efficient, no frills, just how I like it.
Peter S — Google review
Pizzicletta is the go-to pizza spot in Flagstaff. My husband and I have literally driven up from Phoenix just for pizza, wine, and gelato then back home! We love to roadtrip, though. They probably have the best dough in Arizona.
Stephanie H — Google review
We started with the Rosemary Focaccia appetizer and shared the Diavola pizza. The chili oil on the pizza was the perfect finishing touch! Everything was amazing. We even had room left for a scoop of their homemade Salted Caramel gelato, which tasted just like a Werther’s candy! We’re definitely coming back to try more of their menu!
Tracy J — Google review
The pizza here is amazing. The Gelato was great too. You can tell the people take pride in what they do here. Totally recommend.
Will W — Google review
Great little pizza place in Flagstaff. If you like neapolitan style, they do a nice job. I had the Diavola but didn’t read the ingredients well and would have loved it without the honey. It wasn’t too spicy. The dough was chewy. Nice pepperoni. I picked up.
C. M — Google review
Giving this a 5 for FLAVOR let's talk about food shall we Pizza has almost been ruined for me because I've had the most delicious fired pie in Italy As a result a return to the states has left my pizza palate a little flat and then came along this place We ordered the DIAVOLA A bit bold for someone who is terrified of spice but the crisp chili, soothing sweetness of honey, and light crispy brick crust was a surprising delight I don't know what I was expecting nor did I ever think I'd find it in Flagstaff but this spot is so good I can't wait to take my friend who is from Italy there for the experience The venue is small so if you're a large party you may need to split up. I love that they have a community table. The pleasure of eating delicious pizza amongst smiling strangers was refreshing. They do offer some outside seating but again keep in mind this venue is small I did see a lot of people ordering their gelato flight and they all seemed pretty happy with their selections Highly recommend the DIAVALO even if you're afraid of spicy foods you won't be disappointed
T J — Google review
Best most friendly service and pizzas are always executed PERFECTLY. It seems the employees really care and seem happy. The crust is the best I’ve had from any pizza place, chewy, crispy, doesn’t go limp and soggy when you pick up a slice. Almost has a sourdough flavor, very good flavor. The sauce is the best, fresh and sweet not overseasoned. They don’t put excessive cheese (I may be one of the few people who do not like tons of cheese on the pizza, but let the crust, sauce, and toppings shine through. Can’t stand when the cheese is thicker than the actual crust!). The pepperonis are the little thick cups and they get it super crispy. The crust wasn’t burnt ( I hate burnt crust which happens often with wood fired pizza). I can’t believe I’m just discovering this place now. Our usual wood fired pizza place in Flagstaff has gone downhill in quality and they’re always so busy they sometimes don’t even take your order. Pizzicletta is much better anyways!

Great place with something for everyone. I’ve been here twice with my vegan 🌱 partner and he was very happy with the selection. I had the nachos once and the pita pizza 🍕 . Cannot comment on the meats but a very friendly staff and clean restaurant . Great food and open fairly late which was convenient when passing through traveling. 🧳

We were treated to dinner by family while we were in town. Pita Jungle is one of their favorite places — they were just here. The prices are great and the food is tasty. If you love shawarma this is a great place to visit.
Ben B — Google review
This was our first time to visit Flagstaff and we just happened to find this wonderful restaurant. They have several vegetarian options on the main menu, and also have separate menus for gluten-free as well as vegan options of many of their dishes. The food was delicious with fairly large portion sizes. We were both pretty full after eating our meal, but the carrot cake was so enticing that we ordered a slice that we shared for dessert. Henry was our waiter and was very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody who wants healthy options that are delicious and reasonably priced. Definitely would eat here again next time I’m in Flagstaff.

We stopped by for a light dinner one day on our road trip. The light and casual setting of the place was welcoming. We ordered - Cauliflower tacos, Falafel bowl and grilled tofu. Service was quick and efficient. Food was very delicious especially taco. We requested some hot sauce and our server brought out the green and red sriracha sauces. These were soo good. Only negative I thought that Turmeric brown rice were cold and lacked flavors in Falafel bowl.
Saloni P — Google review
Pita Jungle used to be great, but their portion sizes have been cut in half from what they used to be a year ago or so. Instead of a full To-Go tray worth of food from an entree, you get half and the other half comes with the included side salad. I ordered the vegan wood-fired veggie bowl with side salad for $19.19 and it doesn't come with a protein source, so I added tofu for $6 extra, making the meal $26. The entree itself is barely bigger than my fist and the included veggies are small chopped pieces of veggies/barley anything there. Whole foods, including tofu, are very cheap compared to chicken/steak, so I have no idea why adding tofu is $6 extra when it should have been included in this meal. Also, this vegan meal came with shredded cheese, which it isn't supposed to. Called the store and they made it right, but still disappointed in the portion sizes for the price. There are better options in town for vegan food.
Mike P — Google review
First time ordering from Pita Jungle and I’m obsessed! I ordered the spicy tofu bowl and the hummus trio with extra pita. My husband ordered the spicy chicken wrap. We took our order to go so we could eat outside at our hotel. Everything was delicious! I loved each of the hummus’s. The sriracha chili sauce packets were amazing when added to my bowl and mixed into some of the hummus. Cost is a little pricy but worth the price because we were so full afterwards and had a lot of hummus left over for later.
Nicole A — Google review
Went here with my family as I've visited other locations and Pita Jungle is always a good choice, however, I actually recommend not going to this location. Service was bad and server was so rude that even my son who is 11 pointed out the server was being rude to us. I ordered my meal and only got half of what was supposed to come with the meal. Mistakes happen, so I pointed it out to my waiter just so I could have the rest brought out to me, only to be met with very rude remarks said to me while he was giving me the food. Our server was rude from the moment we entered - ignoring us before being seated. No, "welcome in" or anything. Not once did he come check on us at all, I had to waive him down to let him know I was missing my food. No apology about the missing food. Like I said, Pita jungle is a good choice, but not the Flagstaff location. I recommend staying away from this location.

Mother Road Brewing Company, established in 2011, draws its name from the moniker given to Route 66 by John Steinbeck. Founded by Michael Marquess and his wife Alissa, along with brewer Urs Riner, the brewery aims to create and distribute exceptional beers while honoring history, community, and the environment. Their taproom features art from local artists and occasionally hosts live music performances.
When we visit Flagstaff, Mother Road is a must stop. Always friendly staff, great beer (and cocktail!) selection. We tried the beer margarita slushy and ending up drinking 3 and staying for the live music. You can just tell it is a great place to work. I am surprised it took us so long to review. Oh, and we're from Colorado so we know good beer when we drink it!

As a first-timer I am so glad I stumbled upon Mother Road Brewing Co.! The downtown location is absolutely perfect, and it's an easy and enjoyable spot to find. The moment we arrived, I was impressed by the awesome pet-friendly patio. There was plenty of seating for everyone, and it was great to see so many people enjoying the beautiful Flagstaff weather with their furry friends. The food was a total surprise in the best way. I wasn't expecting such an eclectic and delicious menu from a brewery, but everything we ordered was fantastic. From the flavorful street tacos to the perfectly crispy tater tots, the food was high quality without being ridiculously expensive. And of course, the beer selection was top-notch. They offer a great variety of craft beers, from their core brews to some exciting limited releases. I enjoyed getting to sample a few before settling on my favorite. Before we left, I also had to check out the merch. They have a fantastic offering of gear, and I found the perfect t-shirt to remember my visit. Mother Road Brewing Co. is a definite must-visit in Flagstaff
David E — Google review
Headed up to Flagstaff over the weekend and decided to try Mother's Road Brewing and was not disappointed. They offer both indoor and outdoor dining. We chose indor since it was a little too brisk for the littles. I really liked the industrial rustic look and the atmosphere was great. To be honest, at first, we were a bit confused on the menu, but our server explained that we picked the type of entree we wanted, followed by the type of meat/veggie option(topper). I selected the tacos, my husband, the tostada, and my daughter, the hot dog. I LOVED MY TACOS! they were super delicious. The remoulade sauce was my favorite. The butchers belly pork was soft, and the flavor was amazing. My husband said the tostada was a bit difficult to eat, but that's to be expected since the base is crunchy, and every time he took a bite, it would break apart. Otherwise, he said he really enjoyed the flavors. Not complaints from my daughter on the hot dog. Our server was great, except she kept forgetting to get us our refills or waters when asked. We had to remind her a couple of times. I'm not sure if she has to put it through the bar, but that was the only annoying part. Overall, I highly recommend and will definitely be going again.

Pros: Good atmosphere Cons: Unaccommodating menu Sub par beer (tried numerous) Small portion sizes Overall- Only come for a drink, the food ain’t it. My wife is gluten free and asked for no bread and lettuce instead (easy request) they delivered us slop. Please see included photo. Brisket was humiliating. Not worth it with so many breweries in walking distance.

There are several dry sites with much better space and views. We book one of those for our next stay. There are port a potty's only here. They were pretty clean and had hand sanitizer. It was very quiet on Sunday and Monday nights. Friday and Saturday was much busier. There are generators running since there is no electricity at any sites. Quiet hours are 9 pm - 8 am. So many trails. Great hiking and biking trails. The park is very well maintained. We are shocked we have never been before, but we will be booking for the future. Last weekend is Columbus Day weekend, then they open again in May. There was excellent Verizon coverage. No Wifi, unless you bring your own. FLG X Adventure Course and Zip lines are right next door. We love that place as well. Some sites are a bit hard to figure out, so the camp hosts have to help out. They were helpful and there if you needed them. Check out is 1100.

I thought I’d stop in since I hadn’t been here in many many years and I was really impressed. The Bike park is amazing. Everything from kindergarten through a full college education of crazy bumps and launch ramps for awesome stunts to be performed here. It’s really nice to to see what has been accomplished here. Rules were pretty simple and the way they should be. Be careful and use it your own risk.

Event venue
The Orpheum Theater, situated in downtown Flagstaff, is a historic performing arts center that has been a prominent venue since its establishment in 1911. Following a comprehensive renovation in 2002, it now features modern amenities such as plush seating, an expansive balcony area, top-notch sound systems, a full bar, and a lounge.
We were a little skeptical at first due to general admission only option for our event. We had a group of 10 going to the concert. There were seating options for those who arrived early. We didn't... but the venue is well arranged and there wasn't a bad place to be in the house! The sound was good and bar service was on it! I'll be back for another show in the future for sure. The location makes it great for a weekend getaway in Flagstaff. We parked our car on Friday and didn't move it until we left on Sunday. Fun weekend with good friends!

I went to the Ozzy Osborne tribute. It was my first time in the venue and I could see how perfect it would be to see a band performing. Not a bad seat in the house. Great lights and sound. Great staff. I'll be back : )

This place was great! Came here for a concert and really enjoyed it. I love the old school theater look, real intimate show Unfortunately my gf had a seizure that night but the Staff was phenomenal and made sure she was okay.

I was in Flagstaff unexpectedly and hoping to get tickets to a show. I called and left a detailed message and never got a call. I even went by the box office and called their number again to no avail. I'm not going to force anyone to take my money. With customer service this POOR, I may have dodged a bullet.

Had an amazing time at this venue! My wife and I drove up from Phoenix to see a couple bands we really love (Bear Ghost and D*mn the Weather) and The Orpheum Theater was very accommodating. My wife is a partial-time wheelchair user, and the process of getting in was made hassle-free. There are wheelchair ramps to most places in the venue (except the smoking patio, unfortunately) and seating up by the bar area gave us a perfect view of the stage without being crowded by too many people.

I love The Orpheum! I’ve made many amazing memories here ♥️ The shape of the seating /general admission pit/ balcony -- all offers ideal visibility. You can sit at a bar-stool, or in a plush seat, or stand near the stage, or upstairs -- and everyone gets a pretty fair view. The building has that historic charm, and it's generally still in good condition. Sound quality is great! Security checks have reasonable requirements and don’t take too long.

The Aspen Nature Loop, also known as the Aspen Loop or Aspen Nature Lollipop, is a 2.5-mile trail near Flagstaff offering stunning views of the San Francisco field and even extending to the Grand Canyon. During fall, the loop is adorned with golden aspens, while summer brings an array of wildflowers and diverse bird species. The hike is considered laid-back, rated easy by experienced hikers and moderate by beginners, making it suitable for families and trail runners alike.
There are no words that can describe this place - you juts have to see it for yourself. The sheer size and depth of it is amazing and hard for the naked eye to focus on. The free shuttle bus is an excellent addition for anyone wanting to see different aspects without very long hikes. There are limited resources around the park (as to be expected) so just go prepared and don't underestimate the environment. Wonderful place which I could have looked at forever.
Lacey M — Google review
Very beautiful 😍 I highly recommend going here before the hot summer days or after. Take an umbrella and water. Don't go hiking by yourself. Some trails are slippery, and you can easily slip and fall. It's pretty well kept, hardly any trash. They do have trash bins in almost all the hiking trails. When the sun is going down, make sure you have a flash light or enough battery in your phone to use the flash light. It's almost pitch black at night, and without a flash light or other tourists around, you will not make it out till the morning.
Noemy Z — Google review
Breathtaking.. Honestly have never seen anything more beautiful. You would think it was a picture in the distance. It was so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes and thanking God for everything thing I was seeing 👀 🙌

If you've never been able to grasp the sheer, staggering magnitude of geologic time, then either this will do it or nothing will do it. Everyone should visit The Grand Canyon before they die, not just because it's a fantastic sight, but bevause it throws into stark relief just how little time our species has been around on this big blue marble.
Tony H — Google review
Grand Canyon was EXTREMELY Grande! Must stop! We brought our dogs for a walk here and we had a fabulous time and enjoyed the amazing views!
Brian M — Google review
A beautiful geological area. I hiked all the way down to the Colorado River and back up on the same day. It was approximately 22 miles. Packing a lot of water essentials specially if you are doing the hike during the summer. The temperature down at the river can get to 130F with an elevation loss of 4500 feet. Only 1% of the Grand Canyon visitors hike the Canyon. If you find a campsite, I suggest you do that and enjoy stargazing at night. You would definitely be able see the Milky Way. If you got the energy to hike Rim to rim (Khaibab to the South Rim), it won’t be a horrible idea, just a little exhausting.
Ahmed A — Google review
I almost feel silly writing a review for the Grand Canyon because there is so much information out there. I am just going to throw in a few details that would have helped us. We decided to drive to the South Rim entrance which is about a 4.5 hour drive from the Vegas Strip. There you get really stunning views and you can walk the trail to a number of breathtaking lookout points. If you have more time you can also catch the shuttle there to other trails. We debated about going to the Skywalk which would have been just over a 2 hour drive but since that appears to be outside of the national park proper we decided to skip it. If you have more time obviously hiking down and staying in a lodge would be amazing. We only had 4 or 5 hours there so just marveling from the rim had to suffice. Definitely worth the trip.

Coppa Cafe and Bistro is a cozy and stylish eatery that offers locally sourced European dishes, seasonal meals, and a selection of cocktails. The cafe provides a warm ambiance with patio seating for visitors to enjoy. Known for its incredible French cuisine and delectable pastries, the bistro is popular among both tourists and locals in Flagstaff. The lunch specials are well-priced, featuring must-try items like the Reuben sandwich. While the dinner deals offer reasonable portions with impeccable flavors.
Holy wow. Super unassuming storefront in a super unassuming strip mall (for God's sake, it was next to a "Supercuts" or something) but don't let that fool you; it was some of the must delicious food I've had with a sort pleasant waiter and unrushed food presentation. I had the spinach and mushroom risotto, cactus carpaccio, and a chocolate covered smore to boot. The carrots on the side of the main dish alone were jaw dropping. And I don't even like carrots!

So, this is not a place that i can afford to eat at regularly. This being said, it would be nice to be able to. The food is good and interesting and honest. The service is good and better than usual for Flagstaff. The service did start to wain as the room filled up. When we arrive there was maybe 3 out of 10 tables full it later filled up pretty close to capacity. Two servers seemed inadequate. Like i said though, would be decadent to be able to dinner here more often.

This is a must for visitors of Flagstaff and locals alike! Both chefs (Executive and pastry) make you feel right at home in this quaint little place. Incredible French cuisine with the best pastries in town, try the chocolate croissant or macaroons if you don't believe me! Their lunch specials are well-priced, and the Reuben is a must. The dinner deals are reasonable in terms of portions, and the flavors are impeccable. I wish I could go every week, but we can't quite afford that...yet.

If you are looking for the best culinary experience Flagstaff has to offer, this restaurant won't disappoint. It is extremely small, so reservations are recommended. Although the food is 5 star, the experience is not. We were greeted and mostly served by an angry woman with a french accent. When other waiters and waitresses interacted with us, they were all very friendly. This woman, however, acted like it was a chore to wait on you. She neglected to tell us about the special of the day, nor describe it or let us know the price. We noticed it on a blackboard that was hidden behind the service area, barely visible. Entrees average around $31-$38, so it was a huge surprise to get the bill and see that the special I ordered was priced at $65 which should have been revealed at table before ordering. The atmosphere is severely lacking. It doesn't do justice to the food this chef produces. It was congested due to too many tables in a small space and the lighting was too bright. The tables and decor were "shabby" not shabby chic. It's too bad that the experience pales in comparison to the food. Our bill for two came to $156. When I spend that much money on dinner, I like to have the whole experience. I give the experience one star. I doubt we will return soon.

Coppa Cafe is one of our favorite restaurants in Flagstaff! My husband and I come here quite a few times a month...mostly on weekends for lunch or the Sunday brunch. We also come with friends and family for special occasion dinners or when they do specialty nights. The owners, a husband and wife, are the chef and run the front of house. They are always so friendly and sweet to us when we come in and truly appreciate your happiness with their food creations. It is not a cheap lunch/dinner spot however you are paying for *fine* quality food and it exceeds the price you pay! The sunday brunch is so delicious!!! If you don't appreciate fine food and are generally a cheap person, then don't come here and complain. This restaurant is amazing and the owners take great pride in their dishes as well as their customers. Come for ANY meal, you will NOT be disappointed!!! :)

Had lunch there a few months ago and loved the Nicoise Salad with a glass of dry white wine. I sat on the back patio and the sunshine was wonderful. The waitstaff was not super polished, but for lunch I was okay with that. The food was outstanding! It is a secret gem in Flagstaff!

We showed up with a rental van that wasn't equipped to get all the kayaks and paddle boards loaded up easily. Nick helped us remove seats from the van so we could load up our rental equipment and haul it to the lake. Meanwhile, he let us keep our van seats at the country store and watched them for us while we were out on the lake. He also gave us extra rental time on the lake. Great experience!

Educational institution
Coconino Community College (CCC) is a gem nestled in Flagstaff, Arizona, offering a personalized educational experience since its inception. With small class sizes—often no more than 15 students—learners receive individual attention from dedicated faculty who genuinely care about their success. The beautiful campus provides an inviting atmosphere for both students and staff alike.
I wish I could have stayed here for my Bachelors. So much better than NAU. This location is the best, nestled peacefully in the forest.
Richard S — Google review
!!!ATTENTION: All students considering enrolling in classes at CCC!!! This is a PSA from a current student: The campus is currently experiencing misdirection from upper leadership which is impacting degree-seeking students. I walked into this disaster like many other students and am still seeking resolution and financial compensation, of which CCC is offering none. Myself and other students have fallen victim to misadvising by the CCC advising team (including CCC2NAU and nursing focus). I was misadvised over the last two semesters, resulting in not fulfilling my AGEC (gen ed) requirements for NAU. This is following three detailed advising sessions over two years specializing in transfer to NAU. I am no longer able to apply for nursing school after 2+ years of dedicated work and a 4.0 GPA. I am not the only one; this was not a random mistake. My roommate also pulled out of CCC one month ago following three semesters of misadvising. My professor informed me that three other students of hers have also come to her with the same problem and terrifying reality of losing their degree-track, financial aid, placement in a specialty, etc. All of which, I have addressed with two school deans, explaining the impact of what this has done to me and many others. The school, advising team, and deans have offered no compensation, no credit to take the correct class(es), no apology, NOTHING. Their solution is to take more classes with them! Specifically, for me to take summer classes (even though I had thoroughly described numerous times that I work three jobs in summer to pay for my CCC bill. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Take online classes with the Maricopa Community College system if you need to be in the area and enroll in community college. Otherwise, NAU is currently offering FREE tuition to new and transfer students. Google that for more info and avoid losing your money, time, degree, and trust in the college system at CCC.

People here don't like to answer the phones during business hours. You aren't allowed to have a residents tuition unless you've been here for a year, even if you have a state ID, proof of residency, and a job here. If the MVD considers me a resident, then I'm a resident. The advisors seem like they aren't even trained in advising. I was hoping to get a tour, an introduction to the campus/programs, and options of the different degrees. But nope, my advisor barely knew what to say to me or how to help, they didn't show me around, and my session that was supposed to be an hour turned into a 20-minute appointment. They didnt even give me any new or elaborated info that wasn't already on the website. That's just sad and doesn't make me feel confident in this schools abilities to take on new students. Why would I pay for something when the service has already been poor before I've even begun.
Peanut H — Google review
It is such a great experience attending CCC I absolutely love the faculty and students it is a very warm and inviting place to learn
Lisa T — Google review
Came down for the first time. Such a beautiful campus, I got talk to GCU reps who were wonderful and encouraging, met with a man from Georgia in the gift shop who has phenomenal service skills, had a great time other than meeting with someone named Alimah at the financial aid desk. She was very sour, had a poor attitude and was not helpful nor looked pleased to be working at the front desk. I would’ve given a much better rating but her attitude really doesn’t need to be in a wonderful place like this. I hope someone can speak with her, because I’d hate to have to come in and gain information from someone who doesn’t appreciate nor show gratitude towards their position and community.
Alissa L — Google review
The pros are that the staff are generally very helpful and friendly. Parking is good. The professors are very hit or miss. One of my instructors this semester was a good guy and kept the material interesting. The other instructor was terrible, I don't think he should be teaching at all and he had a sour attitude. The two campus are kind of far apart and the main campus doesn't have a library so that is somewhat inconvenient. But they both seem to have good bus access.
Scilla B — Google review
This school is the best one I have ever been to. It may be small, but here, you are a person, not a number, or a warm body that they need to help before they can collect your tuition check. The staff here actually cares - each and every one. The campus is beautiful, and parking is not that bad. the the class sizes are so small, my largest class in my 3 semesters here was 15 people. I only have one down-side. this little gem of a college sits at the top of a beautiful, but large and steep hill, so if you plan on riding your bike here, lol, expect to be in the best shape of your life. ha ha!! but yeah, great place. I would recommend it to anybody.
