1Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay

Resort hotel
Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay is a classic hotel offering contemporary guest rooms and suites with modern amenities. The property features two pools, two tennis courts, a fitness center, and an award-winning Italian restaurant. Situated in a 35-acre wildlife preserve on the shores of Tampa Bay, the hotel provides a serene environment with walking trails and abundant flora and fauna. Additional facilities include a business center, bicycle rentals, and complimentary airport shuttles.
Unbelievable location with an incredible restaurant, The Oyster Catcher, serving absolutely delicious food! I highly recommends this spot for a stay in the Tampa Bay area. Plus, there are so many other amazing places to explore nearby! Imagine strolling along the picturesque walking trail by the bay, making your way to a perfect sunset viewing area. We even got to visit Tarpon Springs and discover other fantastic locations in the vicinity. It’s a thrilling adventure waiting to unfold!

Subject: Request for Full Refund Due to Unacceptable Stay Conditions – Grand Hyatt Tampa Casitas Dear Grand Hyatt Management, I am writing to formally request a full refund for my recent stay at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Casitas, which fell drastically short of the standards expected from a Hyatt property. From the moment of check-in, we encountered multiple issues that disrupted what was meant to be a special birthday getaway. Despite having a confirmed reservation, we did not receive the additional room on the first night and were instead told it was unavailable—forcing us to wait until 2 PM the next day to get the key. This inconvenience alone should have waived the $200+ nightly rate for the extra room. Throughout our stay, the conditions of the casita were severely below acceptable standards: • The bathtubs were rusty and poorly patched. • The ceiling had visible open patches, cracks, and cuts, which were not only unsightly but raised concerns about safety. • The sofa and rug were stained and appeared not to have been cleaned or sanitized properly. • Dust was visible on surfaces, and wiping down the table collected a layer of white powder-like dust, indicating poor housekeeping. • The refrigerator was not working and the ice maker was broken. Despite repeated complaints, it was only replaced with a one-time bucket of ice. • Only one TV had Chromecast capability, and none were smart TVs as advertised. • The other refrigerator made a loud, disturbing noise, preventing us from sleeping properly. • Power went out on the third night, and when we tried to reach out for assistance, Olivia Stollier was extremely rude and dismissive, showing zero empathy while we were left to find a way to cool off and eat outside in the heat. • When requesting service, housekeeping only made the beds and did not clean the unit properly. • The restaurant was under construction, and its hours online did not reflect reality, which caused additional inconvenience when we tried to plan a brunch. Additionally, the check-in process was frustrating. The first person we encountered had no interest in helping us find the room we had booked, instead trying to move us to the main hotel building rather than the Casitas as originally reserved. Overall, this stay was worse than a motel experience and absolutely not worth the $1,400+ we paid for three nights. The facility is outdated, poorly maintained, and misrepresented online. What should have been a relaxing and memorable birthday vacation turned into a series of frustrating and uncomfortable moments. I am therefore formally requesting a full refund for the entire stay. I urge your management team to review this case seriously and take immediate action to improve service and facilities to prevent this from happening to other guests. Sincerely, Gleinys G 9/21 to 9/24

We adored this trip. The reviews were correct. The staffs goal is to work hard and it shows. Dominick with the mustache was very helpful with transportation because we didn’t stay still. I read a review about this property not being wheel chair accessible, I know it is not the same but I took a stroller everywhere! The property is Huge! So once you find where all the raps are it is much easier but I can see how it would be difficult at first. Another review mentioned that house keeping walls in your room. Again they work hard, if you don’t want your room cleaned out the do not disturb or tell the front desk because you may slip out for coffee and come back to a clean room. Kenzie was very helpful at the door with our stroller and so kind my little one. Emily in the restaurant made me feel like old friends. My suggestion, hit the outdoor pool near the main building around 4;00p.m. Don’t miss out on paddle boarding. I could go on and on! I will always value my trip here.

This was a very good hotel experience. My family and I spent a week here and it was very nice. Miss Jane was our server for almost all our days when dining in to breakfast. She was very lovely and made the experience all the more enjoyable. She was very attentive and kind. Jane would always go the extra mile and we will always appreciate that. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves!

Lets start with the fact that I just love Hyatts. Their service and accommodations are always top notch. This one in Tampa is a little pricey but it's Tampa and its well worth it. The staff are very polite and professional. My husband and I ate at the restaurant a couple of times and it was delicious. Our reservation showed that we were on our anniversary and they comped us a meal and several drinks to honor us. The hotel clearly had people there for work functions so it was very quiet during the day but rowdy at night which was fine. The bar got rolling a little too much and we took the dinner to our room which was nice sized and set up for in room dining too. The pool was clean and refreshing. The boardwalk from the hotel to Oystercatchers is under construction but they offer a shuttle to and fro. When we come back to Tampa I would return to this hotel.

Hotel is very nice. Staff very friendly. The only thing is that it is an out-of-the-way location. You can’t easily get to restaurants or even a store from here. But the price is good for what you get. The bar and restaurant are nice. The conference rooms as well. Overall, it still gets five stars.
Bobby Z — Google review
Great experience staying here. Starting with friendly staff, clean rooms, quick guest service, easy check out, complimentary coffee and more over maintaining a clean environment. From the moment you enter the hotel, you can feel the great hospitality with all the staffs - especially the front desk person. If you are looking for best stay experience- this is the place to go.

Customer service is 10/10. I arrived to the hotel while experiencing an emergency, and the valet and front desk team assisted me until they were certain I was okay. They went above and beyond! The actual hotel was great as well..

Le Méridien Tampa, The Courthouse is a luxurious hotel located in Downtown Tampa, close to popular attractions like the Tampa Theatre and the University of Tampa. The hotel offers modern amenities, stylish accommodations, and a chic French bistro and cocktail lounge. Guests can enjoy air-conditioned rooms with en-suite bathrooms, living areas, and various in-room conveniences. The hotel features an outdoor pool, a well-equipped gym, and a spacious business center with meeting rooms.
This hotel was breathtaking! The converted courthouse idea was perfect. The rooms were a great size, the service staff were SO friendly, especially Valeria!! She was able to efficiently check us in, she informed us of the Marriott membership perks, and it made our visit even more special! My only wish was the dinner in the dining room to have more variety on their dinner menu and possibly bigger portions for what you get to eat. But overall, it was great!

Le Méridien Tampa – A Hidden Gem Near the Courthouse I recently stayed at Le Méridien Tampa and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with clean, stylish hallways and spotless rooms. The convenience of having a restaurant and bar right on the premises was a huge plus, and I especially appreciated the complimentary coffee available in the lobby each morning. There's also a small café on-site, which made it easy to grab a quick bagel or pastry before heading out. The staff were outstanding—from the front desk team at check-in to the valet attendants—everyone was friendly, helpful, and professional. I stayed here overnight due to jury duty and chose this location for its proximity to the courthouse. It turned out to be a perfect decision. It was an easy walk to the courthouse, and being able to leave my car parked at the hotel for the day made the entire experience much less stressful, especially since I was unfamiliar with the area. Overall, Le Méridien Tampa combines charm, convenience, and excellent service. Beautiful pool area as well. I was solo female traveler I felt completely safe and I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone needing a place in downtown Tampa—especially if you're visiting the courthouse or simply looking for a stylish and comfortable stay!

Do NOT stay here. I was waiting for the second I checked out to post this. This was a business trip and I frequently stay at many hotels in the area. I simply don’t understand how the reviews are so inflated here, or how this is considered a 4-star hotel. Here’s why: After checking in, I was immediately greeted by the smell of my late grandparents’ basement as I perused the dark, musty halls of this “historic” building. Then, the horror of opening my room door and immediately having an allergic response to what was the dustiest room I’ve experienced since Covid. 100% carpet floors and one single tiny window in the whole unit made it worse. It was on the verge of mold growth, with a broken portable air filter sitting underneath the desk. This was on the FOURTH floor mind you. I had my room changed. I told the staff I really wouldn’t have bothered her unless it was serious, but I promise you— within minutes I felt my throat closing up from the dust. The room change on the first floor was surprisingly a little bit better, but not by much. If you tease through the reviews, there are plenty account of faulty AC issues and this room was no different. I could barely sleep because my new room’s unit struggled and squeaked all night to filter out what seemed like years of dust buildup. The experience was so bad that I had to ask my travel agent to rebook me to another hotel, TWICE — to no avail. The same lady that was pissed that I wanted to change the room the first time, also refused to shorten my stay— giving both the travel agents and myself the run-around. Wild behavior. Like yes, I’m unsatisfied. If I want to leave, why do you want me to stay? A coworker of mine claims the place is haunted. It totally has that vibe. After all, it was a place where they ordered people to prison — or worse. Do what you will with that information
Markell D — Google review
My wife and I have stayed at this hotel several times while in the area. We've seen the progression as they renovated. My recent experience was absolutely outstanding! They went above and beyond to make sure the customer experience was exceptional. The food and amenities were truly outstanding! If you go, the front desk staff are all incredible but we dealt with a gentleman named Gabriel. At the restaurant we were served by another gentleman named Ronnie and I would say that you could count yourself lucky to deal with people of such caliber!!
Lloyd R — Google review
We stayed at this beautifully decorated hotel in a landmark historic building. The manager on duty Gabriel greeted us and answered all of our questions, offering us a rich history of the building. The lead valet was exceptionally helpful in giving us directions. We loved the courtesy tickets to the art museum and other perks. Would definitely stay here again!
A — Google review
This historic courthouse made into a hotel is absolutely amazing! The elegant marvel, wood, High ceilings, courthouse vibes of the 1900s is breathtaking. The pool was wonderful, only a couple here and there. Rooms were large, clean, beautiful. Artwork and staff are so fresh. Bathrooms are large and modern. Wonderful stay for a weekend away. Walking distance to everything. Food trucks across the street for hot tasty food.
Kristina D — Google review
From the moment I walked into the Meridian, Denise made me feel completely at home. She greeted me with the kind of warmth and friendliness that instantly put me at ease!! it honestly felt like catching up with an old friend rather than checking into a hotel. She went above and beyond what you’d expect from a receptionist. Not only was she incredibly helpful with check-in, but she also stepped right into the role of concierge, offering me thoughtful recommendations around the city that made my stay even better. Her Southern charm shines through in the most genuine way, warm smile, easy conversation, and the kind of hospitality you can’t fake!! Because of her, my experience at the Meridian started on the right foot, and I hope management truly recognizes how much of an asset she is to their team. Oh, and I have to mention, the room itself is gorgeous, especially with those soaring high ceilings. All in all, Denise helped turn what could have been just another business trip into something that felt personal and welcoming.
Lucas B — Google review
Gabriel checked us in and he was fantastic. He thoroughly explained all of the extra accommodations that we received as part of the destination fee, was so kind and friendly, and even told us the history of the hotel. The actual hotel was beautiful, all of the original restored features were very neat, and the pool area was inviting and relaxing. We only had a cocktail at the bar but based on how wonderful it was we definitely want to try the food next visit

The Epicurean Hotel, Autograph Collection is a modern luxury hotel located in the historic Hyde Park North neighborhood of Tampa. It offers a unique foodie experience with amenities such as an outdoor pool, patisserie, and cooking classes. The hotel features swanky rooms with flat-screen TVs and L'occitane bath products. Elevage, the on-site restaurant led by James Beard Award semifinalist Chad Johnson, offers an imaginative global menu.
Obsessed with this hotel! Everything was perfect! We stayed for my husband’s birthday and I can’t say enough amazing things! I requested an upgrade in the Marriott app and they accepted. I asked for a birthday note for my husband they gave us a free bottle of wine and a nice note when we arrived. The room was huge! Nice living room area, and kitchen, and a huge bathroom! All of the furniture looked new and I loved the wine theme throughout the hotel. The restaurant downstairs is really nice, as is the rooftop lounge. We enjoyed happy hour even on Saturday, which was nice. The location is perfect. It’s in a really nice area walkable to many restaurants. We walked to Bern’s for dinner across the street, and two blocks away for coffee the next day. Staff was really friendly, at check in and at all of the restaurants. I’m bummed we didn’t get to stay long as the food menu looked really good at the restaurant downstairs. Everything was perfect. Thank you all for a wonderful birthday weekend for hubby!

Absolutely blown away with my stay and experience at this hotel! Great safe location around some amazing restaurants. The hotel and room has such fine amazing detail. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an amazing experience and stay to stay here! Will 100% be returning next time I’m in the area.

Was a beautiful stay… will be back sooner than later! This place treats you like family and I just cant explain it better than that….. The food. Of course is spot on and the atmosphere is just so clean and vibrant. Love the energy and chopped like chef kitchen for food network shows, etc. Cool place. My second home away from home and the environment that the people and businesses have created here in Soho is just perfect and love the atmosphere and culture!

Fantastic experience. Staff made sure to go above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, including an upgraded room and a personalized welcome note and bottle of sparkling wine. The room itself was quite lovely and offered plenty of space, modern touches, and great natural light. Working by the pool or on my balcony during the day made the stay even better. Always great to see some last vestiges of old Marriott hospitality when on the road!

If you plan to have dinner at Berns, this is the best place to stay. It was easy to relax and enjoy the day while taking time to get ready without rushing. We simply walked across the street. The hotel was very nice for what we paid per night. There was a really great rooftop bar we got to enjoy one of our nights. Highly recommend staying here!
Kelly J — Google review
This is a very nice boutique hotel. It's close to the water as well as to restaurants. There are actually two hotels as they remodeled the building across the street. Our room, King Suite, was very nice and since we were in building 2, it eas fairly quiet. Rooftop bar is nice but mainly for young people. Food is superb as they focus on quality (James Beard chef) with a huge focus on wine. The kitchen is a teaching kitchen so reserve your seat if you can. Wine store on site, ice cream next door, what more can you ask. Really enjoyed our stay.
Jayes P — Google review
Fantastic service from the beginning to the end. We arranged a few nights away to relax and to try Bern's steakhouse, across the street but still part of the Epicurean hotel. Great stay, highly recommend and we will back again!
Max S — Google review
Nice hotel for a Marriott. A bit noisy with construction starting very early (6:00am or earlier) across the street. The toilet in my room was running off and on for most of the nights but it wasn’t too bad. Ask for a room not facing the construction project.

Casino
Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa is a sprawling 90,000-square-foot music-themed resort and casino with two buildings located near the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre. The hotel boasts elegant guest rooms and suites equipped with luxurious amenities such as whirlpool tubs, Keurig coffee machines, Bose speaker systems, and flat-screen televisions.
I usually enjoy the Hard Rock, but after 2:30 a.m. the service really goes downhill. The bars on the casino floor get slow, and drink service while playing is almost non-existent. It feels like staff disappear late at night, and you can wait forever for a cocktail or even basic service. For a place that advertises being open 24/7, the energy and hospitality past 2:30 a.m. just don’t match the hype. The casino itself is beautiful, with plenty of games, but if you’re looking to enjoy drinks and decent service, go earlier in the night. Otherwise, be prepared for long waits and lackluster attention once the late shift kicks in.
Ash A — Google review
We stayed for 3 comp nights. Room was nice. Restaurants were excellent. Gambling was fun as usual…. the casino is huge. Had a great time. Only one negative. When I arrived there, I was supposed to have freeplay but it wasn’t available. I had to go stand in a long line at the players club to find out why. They said my account was locked for letting “family members” use my freeplay which wasn’t true at all. They said they would unlock it “this time”. This is very insulting. My wife has nearly 100K tier credits and I have over 100K tier credits… We are regulars and spend a lot of money at this place and the accusation is false. No one has ever used my freeplay and I don’t come there to just use freeplay and leave. You may want to review people’s accounts before locking them out.

Great and large rooms. Shower big enough for 2 people with 2 shower heads and a bench. No tub. The bathroom has a separate space for the toilet with a shielded slided door for privacy. Only complaint was the coffee situation- no real creamer- only powdered and we didn't get it refilled when we asked. We also asked for towels and a room cleaning and never got it. The upper casino is extremely tight and the bottom one was tight but not as bad as the non-smoking section. Park in the Lucky parking lot if staying with lots of luggage. You'll be closer to the main entrance. You'll need to scan your room key to even get the room tower elevators. If you sign up for Unity- you get 50% off the buffet for one person. Buffet was decent. The Cafe was actually better. If you're signature status with Royal Caribbean you will be comped 3 nights and $300 room credit. Kids are allowed with adults but not on the casino floor (only along the pathways). Very fun to see history lining the hallways. We'll be back!
Bree K — Google review
While visiting my old hometown, I had to go visit the Hardrock. Having also lived in Vegas, my grading scale for casinos is close to that of pizza places. Definitely a tougher scale. When you enter this place, it's very nice. Walking around the amount of memorabilia is astounding. From Elvis suits to KISS costumes. Plenty of slots, table games and a nice sportsbook. You can wager on NFL too. Which is always a plus. Overall a solid casino. Nothing like what I went to in Vegas but few are. Definitely worth your time to visit and look around.
Beach F — Google review
My main gripe here is having to breathe cannabis while playing the slots. The skunk smell was awful. I was concerned I would have an allergic reaction. I have a severe allergy to cannabis. Yes I moved and gave up a winning machine so I wouldn’t end up in the hospital. I mentioned it to a worker and she looked uncomfortable and shrugged. This happened on a weekend and was the first time I’ve been exposed to someone getting high right next to me. First off I don’t care if you smoke weed privately, but don’t expose anyone to your need to get high to escape life weed with zero regard to MY health and others. As for the rooms I stayed with a friend and I wasn’t impressed. It’s easy to dump a grand in the slot machines without a payoff. I’ve been going to this casino for years and have never received any free comp rooms at the hotel, just their sister hotels. After staying here with my friend Ive realized I’m not missing anything. The restaurants aren’t bad and the sweet dessert shop is delicious. Hotel room was sub par and the bed was hard. I was glad to leave after 2 sleepless nights on their mattress!
Tammy L — Google review
The location is great but the people that is working for this company it’s not great. Also, if a casino is 24 hours in your pain for everything you shouldn’t have people tell you that you gotta leave a spot when you’re playing because they wanna leave I don’t see that Correct when you are paying to have a hotel and casino this is not a basic resort. This is a casino where we wanna have fun and enjoy our moment and more when we’re traveling if I could write this experience, a zero I would the girl that came out to us was like 00 you guys are leaving because we’re close in this area that was unappropriate. I never miss someone with a place that tells me that a casino is closed. I thought in my life that a casino was open I understand clubs or any restaurants for casino!! Not accommodating at all. I flew in from New York for an offer, but when I checked in at 4:30 p.m., my room still wasn’t ready. About 10 minutes after leaving, I got a call saying I could either wait or pay for an upgrade to get a room immediately. I did not pay. The room itself had a great shower, but the bed was hard and the pillows felt like plastic — definitely not comfortable for sleeping. I spent three days at the casino, but most of the time my players card wouldn’t work in the machines. I only found out on the last night that buying drinks also earns Unity points — wish I’d known that earlier. When I asked for a late checkout, they wanted $50 per hour, so I just packed up and left early giving my money elsewhere. Overall, the experience felt like poor service and a money grab. All I wanted was a rock star experience and all I got was a Hard Rock lesson. This review is based my experience and not gambling.

Our stay at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino was fantastic! The entire property is vibrant, clean, and full of energy. The casino floor has a huge selection of games, and the atmosphere is exciting without being overwhelming. The staff were friendly and professional, making sure we felt welcomed from check-in to check-out. Rooms were modern, comfortable, and had that cool Hard Rock flair with music memorabilia everywhere. Dining options were excellent, and the live entertainment made the experience even more memorable. Can’t wait to come back!

Sailport Waterfront Suites is a modern all-suites property located near Ben T. Davis Beach, offering spacious one- and two-bedroom suites with private balconies and kitchens. While not beachfront, the resort provides stunning bay views and a family-friendly atmosphere. The waterfront venue features unique amenities, including a pool and free airport shuttle service. Although not directly on the beach, guests can enjoy the picturesque sunsets from their balconies or at the on-site cafe.
This place was very affordable and the staff were very friendly. It is very convenient to shopping, restaurants, and beaches. You never had to leave for food. They had a poolside place to eat 3 meals a day. Food was great, the music vibe was perfect, towels were provided, pool was a little smaller than expected so get there early to grab a chair. They also had live music at the pool in the evening .There is no beach access because it is on the bay. They do however have another area that had a beach with tons of chairs and umbrellas, a large area to play volleyball. This same area had a 🔥 pit every night with chairs. I loved this side because you could feel more of a breeze and hear the seagulls…. I just wish you could have dipped in the ocean. There were rocks all around the waters edge and it was prohibited. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept on. The kitchen and living room needs some updating. It had what we needed for a short stay. The place was very clean and we had no issues. I would definitely stay here again. ❤️

Our family was visiting Tampa and we found Sailport Waterfront Suites and drives to check it out. It worked great for us. We had a 2 bedroom condo that was newly updated with a huge family room TV. It was nice to have a full kitchen instead of being in a Hotel room. The pool was nice and was heated. There was a nice restaurant and bar at the pool that was open early for breakfast and stayed open late for drinks. It was very reasonably priced. The beach was closed and we had great views of the bay. One of the elevators was not working but we used the stairs and had no issues.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. The room was right off the bay and we had the perfect view. Saw dolphins and other wildlife right from our window. The pool area was a cool vibe and the private beach was so amazing to watch sunsets and it was pretty much empty except us. The room had a kitchen and was exactly what we wanted and needed for our stay in Tampa!

This hotel can be even better. But, after being here for only a few hours, my wife and I have found trash under the couch, a spider in the bathroom, and the shower and kitchen areas do not seem to get any kind of deep cleaning or maintenance. Great view and location right on the water, the rooms are fantastic and come with a full kitchen. But as I said the staff need to do better on maintaining.

I’m incredibly disappointed in our recent experience at Sailport Waterfront Suites. This was, without exaggeration, one of the worst lodging experiences we’ve ever had. The unit we were given did not resemble the photos in the listing, but the problems went far beyond aesthetics. There was no running water in the kitchen, making the space completely unusable for even basic tasks like washing hands, cleaning dishes, or preparing food. The entire hallway leading to the room had no lighting, which made arriving at night feel unsafe and unsettling. More alarmingly, the unit had a strong mold smell, a serious health hazard, especially for one of us who has asthma. We reported the issue and were moved to another unit, but the second room had the exact same overpowering mold odor. It was impossible to sleep or breathe comfortably in either space. With no resolution, we were forced to sleep in our car in the parking lot that night. As if that wasn’t distressing enough, we also witnessed a raccoon scavenging through the trash and walking around our car while we tried to rest, another clear sign of poor maintenance and sanitation around the property. We contacted the host of the Airbnb we booked through, but their response was simply to “call the front desk.” No apology, no concern, and no accountability. The lack of hospitality and care was deeply disappointing. We ended our stay early and paid out of pocket for a different hotel just to feel safe and breathe clean air. I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. I strongly recommend that Sailport Waterfront Suites: 1. Conduct a full inspection for mold and address any ventilation/moisture issues. 2. Restore proper water access in all units. 3. Ensure exterior and hallway lighting is functional and adequate. 4. Secure trash bins to prevent wildlife encounters. 5. Reassess partnerships with third-party booking platforms and hold hosts accountable. This was unacceptable. We left stressed, exhausted, and completely let down.

Room is always clean, great view of the Bay so we could watch the sunset from our balcony..service is great. My coffee machine broke and they replaced it within a half hour, which was fantastic since I am quite a coffee fan. Wi-Fi always worked and so did both TV's. Staff is always very friendly and so were the other guests. We had a very relaxing and fun Labor Day weekend. Thank you, and hope to see you next year same time of year!

My husband and I had a great time visiting here and will be back! Prices are affordable, you get what you’re paying for. Rooms could use some updates, as they’re a bit out dated and gives the cheap hotel vibes. It’s located right on the old Tampa bay and they even have their own little home made beach. Fishing poles are available for use, just ask the front desk. There was a dock you could fish from, but it was damaged from the hurricane. However, you can still fish from the parking lot and by the rocks. Shelley at the bar was the best! Food was good but didn’t care for the breakfast. Definitely try the cheeseburger! Location is literally 8 minutes from the airport. Not bad, overall good experience and will be back!

Nestled in the vibrant Westshore business district, Hotel Alba Tampa, Tapestry Collection by Hilton is a chic retreat that perfectly blends comfort and style. This refined hotel boasts an inviting outdoor pool and cozy fire pits, creating a relaxing atmosphere reminiscent of Miami's coastal charm. Guests can indulge in delightful culinary experiences at The Spaniard, the hotel's Spanish restaurant that showcases local flavors. With bright tropical decor throughout its spacious rooms and modern amenities, Hotel Alba offers a refreshing escape for travelers.
this hotel and staff was completely amazing ! The “private” entrance made every guest feel special and welcomed! Every part of the hotel was beautiful especially the outdoor area areas and pool. The pool was great its open was pretty much all day. Denise and Brian were very kind and welcoming for our week long stay. One thing I did appreciate was that some staff would mention when big groups or parties would be hosting events or dinners so that way we could plan accordingly! The cabanas that were poolside add to that touch of luxary while vacationing! We did have an issue with a clogged toilet that didn’t get fixed for almost 2 hours but once I discussed this with staff they handled it professionally. The room we stayed in was very clean and spacious. I was a little concerned about the one working elevator, but on day two of our stay staff were already fixing it and by that afternoon they were fixed and running! Besides that we had no issues our entire visit and definitely plan on returning. Thanks for making our stay unforgettable!

We had a really great stay! The hotel has a very modern vibe with lots of on-site activities, and the bar is amazing—great drinks, fun atmosphere, and outstanding service. The staff across the board were friendly and super helpful, which made everything from check-in to checkout smooth. The only slight negative is the parking fee. That said, if you’re visiting for the game like we were, it balances out because there’s a free shuttle to the stadium and it’s only about a 10-minute ride. Huge win for convenience. We’d definitely stay again. Go Eagles! 🦅💚

I’m currently staying here and definitely irritated. Price is absolutely not worth it. Hotel was decent enough and staff was friendly. However, they don’t clean rooms unless you ask and even then, it’s mediocre. After requesting house keeping, we still had no shampoo or toilet paper. They don’t have room service, not enough staff working and the most annoying and ridiculous part is they add 20% to EVERYTHING. If you just go and buy a Coke, they add it. Be very careful because the staff doesn’t tell you. Our first day there we doubled tipped on everything not realizing and they didn’t say anything. We always tip 20% but this is incredibly shady and highly unprofessional. Especially when you have a high bill and your server ends up getting over $100. Food takes forever to order at the bar. We were there for 5 nights and orders took anywhere from 45-75 minutes to come out. We paid a lot for this hotel and if you are going to add 20% to every penny someone spends, you better make sure you have tip top service. Hoping the next couple days are better.

I just spent the weekend at hotel alba for a quick getaway with my husband. I loved the vibe and aesthetic of the shared spaces (entry/lobby/pool etc). Our room was nice, spacious and clean. Overall it felt like a great value for the money and we were very comfortable here. It's also pretty centrally located. My 'critiques' would be that our hallway reeked of weed the whole weekend. Do you and have fun, but it was overwhelming everytime we walked in the hall... I cant imagine what the room would have smelled like. They also had a weird situation with the elevators going on. One didn't work, one did, and one worked but they had set up ring cameras for an operator to come to the floor to get you and take you where you needed to go. Not a problem necessarily, but felt weird. My last nitpick would be to recommend leaving more than one roll of toilet paper in the rooms. We had to call down for more and even then we were only given one. It just cant hurt to have more than one in my opinion, and can only help! Overall we enjoyed the stay and would stay here again!

Michy who checked us in was a doll. Everything was perfect. The entrance is beautiful and everyone who worked there was welcoming. The pool bar was short staffed and was left unattended at times. Breakfast was good and as others stated there is a 20% gratuity put on all tabs. Did not notice until I left. The room was out of toilet paper but was clean and cool. 3 Elevators did all work but some were out of service at times. Check out was just as easy. I will be back.Thank you hotel alba Sarah B

I am deeply disappointed with my recent stay at Alba. This was meant to be a special anniversary trip and my first as a Hilton Honors member, but it became a source of stress and frustration. Despite requesting champagne for our anniversary, nothing was arranged. We dealt with broken elevators, a malfunctioning AC, which got our room to 90 degrees before we asked to get a different room, and despite asking for someone to come and fix it, 3 hours later the room was almost at 100 degrees. Also the rooms are completely claustrophobic, ceilings are so low. The shower is borderline prison like, and the bathroom doors don’t even close!! They’re this weird sliding door that leaves an inch open on either side which is very uncomfortable and strange. They told me the pet fee I would pay on arrival, 75$, okay no problem. What was a problem was the fact that when we got to the front, the woman told me it was going to a 125$ fee, which later I was told was wrong, and then was asked for a 250$ hold. Parking was another hassle, they told me it would be 25$ a day… Jesus Christ!! We wound up parking at a friends down the street which was ridiculous because we had to walk there and back. and the partial refund I was promised has still not been issued weeks later, despite the fact that we walked out a day early due to the hotels situation! We were told by the manager of the hotel she would refund the past 2 nights, the hold, and the pet fee. So far, it’s 3 weeks later and the only thing I’ve seen is the hold come back immediately. I am overall extremely disappointed with the management, the lack of leadership and communication and would definitely not stay here again.

Stayed at the Hotel Alba for a work trip, and thoroughly enjoyed the stay! The staff was very friendly, professional, and communicative every step of the stay! We got upgraded to a suite, and it was huge, loved the pool and the amenities, great place to stay close to the airport with a free shuttle. Will definitely come back and stay here again, thanks!!

I rounded up because if i were truly awarding stars, i would prob go with a 2.5. The hotel was very dated and just clean enough at surface. The rug in our room was dirty/in need of a deep clean. The beds were a bit small and mattress had a bit of a dip in it The bathroom/shower was nice and clean and the only thing that really smelled nice as our room smelled like musk and smoke There were a few loose floorboards as well We ended up checking out the hotel early as i’m very particular about the feel/look of the room. The location was ehhh…it depends on where you’re trying to go we attempted downtown and it was a bit logistically unfriendly tho it’s not far most of the staff was super nice and warm so that’s always a plus. We didn’t do the pool so no experience there I read through the reviews and was a bit disappointed on my experience i wanted to love it, but i didn’t

The Westin Tampa Waterside is a contemporary waterfront hotel conveniently located near the Tampa Convention Center and the Amalie Arena. The hotel offers comfortable rooms with modern amenities, private balconies, and stunning bay or city views. Guests can enjoy a heated outdoor pool, a well-equipped exercise room, and multiple dining options on-site. Business travelers will appreciate the proximity to the convention center and the convenient work desks in each room.
Cesar was incredible at check-in! I received a lovely upgraded room with a view of the Straz Center and water as part of Titanium loyalty. The room was spotless, linens smelled very fresh and bed was super comfy. I ordered a chicken and grill beets salad via room service- didn’t wow me for the $40 price, but it was worth the convenience of not having to leave the room. There is a Starbucks and several restaurant options in the base of the hotel for dining options as well. Valet was courteous and prompt. No complaints at all about my stay- I plan to return to this location in the future!

My stay at the Westin in Tampa was overall fine — clean room, decent location, and everything worked as expected. The staff was polite, and the basics were covered. That said, nothing really stood out. The service wasn’t particularly warm or personalized, and the overall atmosphere felt more functional than luxurious. For a Westin property, I was hoping for a bit more attention to detail or something that made the experience memorable. It’s a solid option if you just need a reliable stay, but don’t expect anything beyond the standard.

I was fortunate to attend a conference here and was very impressed with the facility and the staff. The hotel was the host for a trade association conference where they provided the meeting rooms and food. We had wonderful continental breakfast with Starbucks coffee. Followed with a great buffet with Ribs Chicken potato soup and salad. Also amazing desserts to make it a completely amazing lunch. I look forward to returning and enjoying the rest of the hotel with such awesome views. Enjoy

Stayed here last minute after attending a party on a yacht starship boat. A great choice! I called ahead around 9 pm after booking reservation to let them know I’d be checking in a little after 1 am. The rep took down my name and timeframe of my arrival. Our late check in was quick and we were in our room within 5 mins. The property was super clean. Lobby, floor hallways, and the room were all well maintained. I’ll definitely consider staying here again!

I think anyone who considers staying here should be aware of the noise. I stayed here for a long weekend over the summer. The bars outside blasted music late into the night (until after 1 or 2 in the morning), and it was so loud that not only could I hear it in my bedroom, but I could also hear it in my bathroom. I went back and read prior reviews, and it seems this is a regular occurrence. The noise kept me up on my first night, and when I heard it again after midnight on my second night, I asked to be moved. I started in a double queen, and the staff moved me to king room on the other side of the building that was much quieter. They told me all the double queens are on the side of the building with the bars, so I suppose you shouldn't get one of those unless you sleep like the dead. I will say the staff was very nice. I did make management aware of the issue, and they said they'd look into fixing it. Maybe noise levels will be better in the future, but if you want to stay here, it's good to be aware (and to ask for a room away from the bars).

Checking in, I discovered that they gave our suite to someone else. They put us into another suite. Smelled terrible in second room and roaches. Third suite was nice except the tub faucet was stuck on the shower wand, and the stopper didn't plug the drain. Location puts you within walking distance from a lot of different venues and restaurants. Drinks and food were great inside and out of the hotel.

The Westin Tampa Waterside was lovely, with comfortable beds, cold AC, and a friendly staff. The valet parking was the only drawback. I do not like people to drive my car. That being said, the hotel has plenty of underground parking for all people who check in on site, but it is only available to those who pay $50 for valet. I know there is a massive amount of parking because I walked through it on my way back to the hotel after parking my car in a garage 10 minutes away, paying $15 a day. The hotel is nice, with beautiful views of the area, and is conveniently located near the convention center and downtown areas. The included breakfast was also excellent, but the valet situation left a sour taste in my mouth.

We really enjoyed our few days here to celebrate our Anniversary. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and encountered wonderful service with every employee during our entire stay! Great breakfast in the mornings at their lobby restaurant to start our day and we enjoyed cocktails in the evening at their lovely roof top bar. They also offer a nightly happy hour at the Anchor and Brine across the street at their sister property. You can utilize an indoor walkway that connects both Marriott hotels for access. We also used the free downtown Trolley service footsteps away from the hotel for a lunch outing. We definitely look forward to returning. Thank you for a nice stay!

Wonderful experience. Great staff with amazing service. They were helpful every step of the way. Also, the hotel has very clean rooms, and it is in a beautiful location. The only slight disappointment is that we were hoping to check out the rooftop lounge after we came back from a show, but every table outside had a reserved sign and there was nowhere to sit. Understandable that people make reservations, and we will the next time, just a shame about this time. The view looked beautiful, though.

We stayed at The CURRENT Hotel, Autograph Collection from August 21–23, 2025, to celebrate my cousin’s birthday, and it was such a great experience! The views were absolutely beautiful, and I especially enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings for meditation—it was so peaceful. The lobby, restaurant, and valet staff were all very nice and attentive, which made us feel welcome from the start. We also had a wonderful time at the pool; it was a perfect place to relax and celebrate. The only downside was that I requested extra towels on Friday, but they never arrived. On Saturday morning I stopped at the lobby to ask again, but unfortunately the towels still never came. Other than that, everything else was fantastic. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay.

Wonderful Stay with Just a Few Little Things 😊🏖️ We had a wonderful time at the hotel! The beautiful pool was such a treat, though it did get a bit crowded with lots of kids invading our space until their parents stepped in 🙃. The bar was fantastic, and the bartenders, especially Andrew and the hilarious Cuban guy, made our night unforgettable 🍹😂. The room was nice but could use some visual repairs, and the floor was a bit dirty. The beds need to be moved for better cleaning as there was a lot of dirt underneath 😅. Overall, the place and employees were super friendly and welcoming! 👍

I had a really good experience with the front desk person Nicole. I arrived a day late because of flight delays and I didn't know that the Marriott policy was to cancel your entire reservation. So here I am exhausted at 2 am and find that I don't have a hotel room. Nicole was so kind and welcoming while she helped us figure out another hotel. Nicole is the type of person that makes fancy hotels feel fancy

Everything involving the hotel itself, the view/location, staff and restaurant were all amazing! The biggest downfall and reason I would never stay here again was the parking. The parking spaces are wildly small and you have to fight for a good spot with the folks coming to the hotel just to go to the restaurant or bar. You would think if you’re paying to stay at the hotel itself you would have a better option. Today I found out I also paid $25 a night to park there. I consider this unacceptable.

I checked in August 26th after booking online. The woman upfront was nice but she told me they didn’t have my room I booked online so I had to settle for a smaller room but still paying the price of a bigger room. The kitchen area was super friendly. My problem is when I checked out today which was a night early I saw a charge for 379.00. I asked them what the charge was for they said it was for damages. So I asked what damages, they said it was coffee spilled on the floor and some on the walls. I get it there was some coffee but 379.00 for damages? When all they gone do is wash it off with soap and water and mop the floor why does it have to be 379.00? That’s like saying we broke a tv or stole from them and it’s just coffee. I’m not saying don’t add the fee but 379.00? It don’t add up and I feel like they are over charging for that. It’s like they charge what they want because they can mind you I paid 1700 for 3 nights and 379.00 for some coffee. Couldn’t talk to management because he or she prolly at home trying to figure out how they gone explain 379.00 for some expresso shots lol. My point is they still gone rent the room for 300-400 a night and use 5$ out of my 379.00 for some dish soap….. I feel robbed lol I spent 2k at this place for 2 nights didn’t even get no room service yall stick to air bnb if you can hotels are becoming played out but shout out to the kitchen crew I did like them and their food. Better yet don’t stay at this hotel it’s only good for the food the hallways was empty cause nobody stay there. And it’s my birthday today lol shame on you management. DAMAGES- injury or harm they reduced value or usefulness.

Chose to go here with my friend to celebrate her birthday. We had a good time. However, there were a few inconveniences. First the good news. Staff was very professional, friendly and open to questions we had about the hotel. The bartenders especially! Now for the bad. The room we stayed in had a dirty floor, including under the bed. They should have a deep clean. The pool was nice, but overcrowded. There were a lot of unsupervised kids invading people's spaces, making it difficult to relax and enjoy. Management should have security and staff do rounds to make sure that doesn't happen, and enforce the no diving policy. Since the kids and some parents were doing it, causing water to splash on guests. We were disappointed with the transformation of the rooftop bar into another restaurant. It used to be an attraction we looked forward to visiting for the ambiance. Now the hotel has two restaurants with essentially the same menu options. Not an appealing feature! As an Elite Member, we hope improvements will be made so we could look forward to coming back, because really love this hotel!

The staff was kind and many said hello as we walked around and explored the numerous amenities. The pool was nice and the food was really great. We ordered a bunch of delicious appetizers and enjoyed eating them in our comfy spa robes. The massages were relaxing too. We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Safety Harbor Resort & Spa! The location is perfect—right in the heart of town and walking distance to great shops and restaurants. The resort itself is grand and spacious, with a relaxing atmosphere. The pool and spa are definitely highlights—clean, well-maintained, and a great place to unwind. The rooms are in the process of being updated, so I recommend requesting a renovated one; the older rooms tend to have a musty smell. Overall, a lovely experience and we’d definitely return!

I am truly only giving two stars because I did enjoy the employee who gave me my facial at the Spa. She was great. Everything else was honestly atrocious. My husband and I booked this spa day to celebrate our five year wedding anniversary. It was a disaster from the second we walked in. Many have mentioned the outdated facilities, but I was way more taken aback by the desk staff in the spa. They need some serious retraining on customer service. I booked our services (a massage and a facial) simultaneously through the website. I received a confirmation email. Apparently my husband’s appointment remained the same, but mine was moved to 11am. I was charged a $15 no show fee and was told they called me that morning. I never received a call… and I also did not book that time slot so I should never have been charged. Seems like it was a website error, which happens. But the way these women handled it and spoke to each other was anything other than relaxing. I truly don’t even think they said sorry for the mishap. It was as if the whole thing was my fault and I was pestering them. They were able to fit me in 30 minutes later than anticipated, but that’s okay. We figured it out. But no one showed us where anything was and again, like others mentioned, it’s a labyrinth in there. After our appointments, I went back to the front desk to ask for an itemized receipt as we had paid partially with a gift certificate. This caused more chaos amongst THREE employees and still felt very hostile. I still did not receive the breakdown of costs, but I at least finally was refunded my $15 no show fee. It was so bizarre and left me feeling uncomfortable. I would not call any part of that experience relaxing.

Beautiful location, fantastic staff from from to back. The spa is supported by caring, knowledgeable staff. We had an amazing spa day on our anniversary. The facility could use a little more proactive love (hence the lack of five stars) but it is recommended to visit. We did not stay in a room, so have no comment there. Did I mention the great staff? I was so relaxed I neglected to take any photos. Enjoy.

We had a wedding we attended. Maria was out coordinator and wow she was fabulous. She had such a great personality and very upbeat. The bar mate was very up beat. We had a great time the day before and the day of the wedding. Definitely one to remember. We didn't stay at the hotel so I can't rate the rooms. Very clean facility and the food was high quality with great flavors.

I have been a member of SHRS since December 2021. The resort is in the process of renovation and every day I see improvement. Hopefully there is a lot more to come. The staff members are amazing and that includes the several recently hired staff members. I have belonged to other clubs and stayed at hotels around the world. The staff at SHRS makes you feel like you are coming home from the moment you leave your car with the valet to the "good bye and have a great day" when you leave. The other members are great too - I have met so many great people at SHRS. The friendly atmosphere at SHRS allowed me to make friends and feel a part of the community within a short period of time after moving to Florida. The fitness classes are the best I have ever attended. There is a wide range of innovative offerings - something for everyone every day. Each instructor is knowledgeable, professional and devoted to each class. The newly renovated class rooms and gym are well equipped. I haven't had many spa treatments but those I have had have been excellent. My favorite is the Vichy massage - an absolute must! The staff, fitness programs and spa treatments are well worth spending time at this home away from home!

We stayed at Safety Harbor Resort and Spa for four nights and absolutely loved the hotel and the spa services were amazing. We specifically went where we could attend the third Friday event where there is all kinds of vendors down the street right outside the hotel. We fell in love with staff member Kara at the front desk and she went above and beyond and was so friendly. We also loved Eli in the restaurant and requested her multiple times as she was very attentive and personable. We will be returning again in the very near future as this hotel is amazing and is in a prime location. We never once left the parking lot in our car due to there being so much to do. 💕💕

Great Service, But Stuck in the Past I visited Safety Harbor Spa this weekend and left with mixed feelings. I spent $300 for a gift card for my daughter's 30th birthday hoping to impress her for the special occasion. We decided to book a spa day for 4 family members (and paid that much per person). It took months for us to get an appointment on a Saturday (somewhat understandable). The staff was warm, professional, and genuinely dedicated to creating a relaxing experience. The massage and facial treatments were excellent—easily on par with any high-end spa I've visited. If I were rating based on service alone, this would be a solid five-star review. However, the facility itself tells a very different story. The spa is desperately in need of an update. It feels like time stopped here sometime in the early 1990s. Every area—while once probably beautiful—now feels tired and neglected. Even the scent of the place feels dated. I was actually embarrassed that I brought my 2 daughters there for a special day, though my 82 year old mother didn't notice the worn out facilities. It's clear that the staff is doing their best with what they have, but it's also obvious that the owners haven’t reinvested in the space in decades. In an industry where ambiance is such a big part of the experience, this really drags down the overall impression. It's is a hidden gem that's been buried under 30 years of wear and tear. Great for locals looking for skilled treatments—just don’t expect a luxury resort atmosphere.

Located on Tampa International Airport's waterfront, The Godfrey Hotel & Cabanas is a small and peaceful place perfect for couples looking for some R&R. It has an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi, as well as basic amenities like a gym and TV.
The Godfrey offers a truly unforgettable retreat. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a breathtaking view of Tampa's Rocky Point island. The rooms were not just comfortable but elegantly designed, with every detail meticulously thought out to ensure maximum comfort and relaxation. Waking up to the sound of gentle waves and the sight of the sunrise from our balcony was nothing short of magical. The staff went above and beyond to cater to our every need. Their attention to detail and genuine care made us feel pampered throughout our stay. Outdoor seating and umbrellas were plentiful, offering a comfortable spot to relax and soak up the sun. Overall, The Godfrey exceeded our expectations in every way possible. It's not just a place to stay; it's a destination where luxury meets tranquility. Best thing about this hotel is the location. But if you’re looking to be somewhere quiet and peaceful this is not it. This place parties almost 7 days a week at their restaurant next door. Also, my room was not serviced despite asking 2-3x. Mentioned it to front desk staff and the cleaning staff. Spent 5 days without new towels, sheets or bedding. Also, by the photos you can see that the room is old and dirty. Mattress had a nasty brown stain. Ceiling had water spots. Shower is small. Barely has outlets throughout the room. Balcony is dirty. It’s apparent the hotel is outdated and needs to be cleaned from top to bottom. Like I said, the best part about this hotel is its location for the views and its proximity to so much in the area. You’re about 20-30 minutes from everything. I’ve stayed here twice by the way and it’s gotten worse over the years.

Not surprised this place is still closed. A 2.5 star trying to be a 4,and charging accordingly. Views are great, but it's old bones aren't great.

The rooms were clean and the location is great. However, the beds and pillows weren't comfortable and none of us got us got a great night's sleep. Also, keep in mind, if you'd stay here, the hotel next door has very loud live entertainment/karaoke that can be heard late into the night. If you have young kids get a ton facing the city, not the water.

The first room I was given was absolutely disgusting-- mold on the bed frame, unknown substances on the tv and it wreaked of wet towels. I was also concerned about the cleanliness of the bathroom. However, the front desk was excellent at moving us to a suite and the cleanliness was on par and the room was amazing. Only complaint was that it was next to the ice machine, but I was satisfied with the bed, bathroom and amazing view. If you are going to stay here, make sure to book one of the more expensive rooms or you risk staying in filth.

It's not bad! I booked through hotels dot com, and reviews there were good. I saw the reviews here and got really worried. However, the rooms are not nearly as bad as what they were made out to be. Yes, the hotel is old. Yes, there has been some remodeling and like a lot of hastily done remodels, they seem to have cut a few corners. But the hotel room was clean, there is no weird smell, the sheets were clean, the bathroom was clean, nothing was falling apart. Our room had a mini fridge and a Keurig. There was waterfront balcony with lovely views. The hotel staff was nice, professional and accommodating. I would definitely stay again. Maybe not the best place for family vacation with small children, but great for older kids and couples.

PLEASE READ!!!! I wished I would have asked for my money back the second I got there because this hotel was DISGUSTING but I did not want to be that customer (karen). The staff accomadated me to another room when I told them my shower was clogged. So, 5/5 for the front desk staff. I am not one to write negative reviews. But, this place has definitely violated all sanitation’s protocols and procedures. I myself went to buy my own cleaning products to clean my room because it was not cleaned properly. And yes, I cleaned two rooms at that. I honestly don’t think the hotel rooms are clean on a daily basis. Exactly what another reviewer wrote, the camera man who took their site pics did an amazing job because they fooled a lot of us! EVERY PHOTO POSTED OF THIS PLACE BY OTHERS IN THEIR REVIEWS IS PROOF OF HOW RUN DOWN AND DIRTY THIS HOTEL IS.

This hotel is so dirty and the hallways smell like pee. I reserved this hotel for 3 nights. I only ended up staying 1 night. The front desk attendant were very nice. I was switched to 3 different rooms that same night. The first one had roaches. The second one the toilet wasn’t working and the 3rd one the bed sheets had stains. Also, the floor had white stains. I will post the videos and pictures of this experience. I came to Tampa to have a manipulation procedure done on my spine. I had to be sedated Saturday 8/24/24 and Sunday 8/25/24. So I would have to be in an environment a quiet and peaceful environment. The house keeper are very loud when they’re walking through the hallways. Overall, I don’t recommend this hotel to anybody.🤦🏽‍♀️

The Vinoy Resort & Golf Club, Autograph Collection is a luxurious and pet-friendly resort located in St. Petersburg, Florida. The iconic pink building offers posh rooms and suites, along with five restaurants, a pool, spa, and golf course. Following its highly anticipated renovation, the 354-room hotel has been rebranded as a Marriott Autograph Collection property. Situated across from Vinoy Park and within walking distance of St.
Stayed here for a few days for a swim meet. It’s conveniently located around many restaurants and beaches and has a nice old world charm throughout the original main building. The flowers I took a Picture of are refreshed every Thursday and they do a spectacular job. The folks taking care of the cars are really nice and the entire system to have your car waiting for you at the entrance works flawlessly. We ate at some of the restaurants, everything was good and prices were reasonable. Our rooms were nice and clean and we had a view of the bay and pool. While we didn’t use the pool area, it looked marvelous with a beautiful shape and enough chairs and tables to accommodate many guests. Overall very happy with the stay and would come back again.

This hotel is simply amazing. I loved every part of it. All of the associates were amazing. From Galvin at check in, Daniel at the pool and another young lady at the front desk (she is Asian and moved here about 3 years ago) and the room attendant, Bridget. I loved the water stations provided at every floor. I had one of the best birthdays and this place is just my happy place.

Suzanne (Susan) is truly an asset to your hotel! From the moment we arrived, she was warm, welcoming, and cheerful - such a pleasure to interact with. Her customer service is outstanding. When we had a small issue, she didn't brush it off or pass it along; she immediately made calls and took care of everything for us. She's a real credit to your team! Also, Our room was spotless, with a comfortable bed and plenty of soft, fluffy pillows that made for an excellent night's sleep. We especially loved the balcony - and the fact that so many rooms have them! The water views were absolutely stunning - don’t hesitate to book this hotel you won’t be disappointed.

This hotel was magical. The flower arrangement in the lobby was gorgeous, my room was big, the bed was comfy, and the restaurant, Elliott Aster, was great. The voucher for two drinks upon check-in was appreciated. I also loved that they give guests five post cards to send to friends and family. They mailed them out for me too. Very cute idea. Absolutely iconic property. I really enjoyed my stay and can’t wait to go back.

Absolutely brilliant hotel from the valet and outdoor bar that greet you to the pool, restaurants, and rooms, we had an amazing stay! Highly recommend! Note, the spa area is under whelming but the treatment was lovely. The Don Cesar is better for a spa retreat and beach side experience, otherwise absolutely one of my favorite stay experiences. Absolutely lovely

My sister and I are traveling here with our daughters for the weekend (2 and 8). I’ll start with the good. It’s a beautiful hotel, very feminine, smells great. Rooms are spacious and clean. The not so good. The beds are very firm. The shower fixture is worn out and has parts broken off of it. The worst part is the walls are paper thin. Both nights of our stay we were subjected to various noises from next door non stop from 1 am to 4:30 am. Including adult noises, movies in which I could hear every word, and conversation between the couple who was next door. The security guard went and talked to them two times but it was completely ineffective. When you stay at a hotel of this caliber you expect to be able to sleep at night. Please sound proof your rooms or don’t skimp out on the insulation between rooms next time you renovate!

My stay at this beautiful hotel was June 17-19,2025. My room was very nice, amenities were perfect. Room didn't have such a great view as it overlooked roof with pipes, etc. Room cleanliness was perfect and Cleaning staff was perfect. My checking in process was easy and polite. Parking was valet only, and expensive. I checked posting of parking before I decided to stay there. Amenities stated there was self parking, when I arrived; I was told there was not self parking. Discussed thus with desk when I left, they said they'd take care of it. Did not happen as stated. I ate at Paul's Landing 3 times. Food was excellent! View terrific! Service for my supper meal was very slow. I sat there for 15 minutes and watched while other people had their orders taken ( they arrived after me). I finally got up and spoke to the desk person. Then my order was taken.. I had a drunk at the Veranda. Service was great and drink was excellent. My luggage was taken to and from my room by a porter who was extremely pleasant and helpful. The hotel is beautiful and a very pleasant place to stay. I enjoyed the front porch and the yacht basin view. All in all, my stay was relaxing.

It pains me to write this review, but I feel I have to. I grew up in St. Pete, and for as long as I can remember, the Vinoy was THE place to be. My family were members, we spent weekends at the pool, and I always thought of it as this magical, untouchable standard of luxury. So booking a suite here felt like coming full circle. Instead, it honestly felt like finding out Santa Claus isn’t real. The lobby is gorgeous, but it’s all show. Once you get into the rooms, it’s a completely different story. Right when I checked in, the line was long and clearly understaffed. I booked through Amex, which usually comes with upgrades and perks (upgraded room, late checkout, etc), but none of that happened. Fine, whatever. But then I walked into my room and was immediately hit with the strongest musty, moldy smell. Imagine leaving wet clothes in the washer for weeks, then opening it up… that’s exactly how it smelled!! Within minutes, my nose was stuffed, I had a pounding headache, and my baby and I couldn’t breathe comfortably. I called the desk, they said they’d send housekeeping (??) when this was clearly a management issue. After almost an hour of back and forth, I finally got moved, but instead of upgrading me to make up for it, they actually downgraded my suite. By that point, I didn’t care, I just needed a room where the air didn’t feel toxic. The second room didn’t smell, but I was honestly shocked once I looked around. I’ll share some photos, but the curtains were ripped, water stains on the ceiling, grime and rust all over the shower, soap scum left on the tray… it just felt neglected. I didn’t even shower because it didn’t feel clean. For a hotel charging this much and marketing itself as a luxury resort, it’s unacceptable. I’ve never experienced this level of neglect and filth from a hotel in the Marriott Autograph Collection. EVER. Very shocking and disappointing. The little things piled on too. Housekeeping banged on my door with a “Do Not Disturb” sign up and woke my baby. I asked for late checkout (which Amex usually guarantees) and they flat out said no, even though availability was showing online. Checkout itself was another 20+ minute line, and when I finally got to the front desk, all I got was a cold “you’re good to go.” No “thank you for staying with us,” or “how was your stay”, or even offering to print the folio. Nothing. Just extremely cold and dismissive. To be fair, valet and pool staff were great.. especially Emma at the pool, who went out of her way to be kind. One of the days I rented a cabana and spent close to $1,000 trying to make the best of the stay. But honestly, everything outside of those small moments was a mess. The Vinoy has always had this reputation as the “crown jewel of St. Pete,” but after staying here, I feel like it’s all smoke and mirrors. The lobby gives five-star, while the rooms give one-star. I travel constantly, and I’ve had cleaner, friendlier stays at budget chains. And the strong smell of mold and water leak stains on the ceiling should be a huge concern for management. Now reading others reviews and realizing others have shared a similar experience, management is clearly choosing to dismiss these issues, which is a massive health hazard for their guests. This was supposed to be a special, nostalgic stay for me, but instead it left me really disappointed. I won’t be back, and I just want other travelers to know what they’re walking into.

The Westin Tampa Bay is a luxurious hotel that overlooks Tampa Bay. Rooms come with everything you need, like a work desk and flat-screen TV. The hotel also has a private beach and a pool. You can enjoy your stay at the Westin Tampa Bay by relax in the sun or by taking a swim in their pool. There's also a waterfront restaurant where you can get some nice seafood for dinner.
Beautiful (dog friendly!) hotel with exceptionally friendly, kind, and courteous staff. the room could not have been more modern, clean, and safe. The technology on the blinds and shades is such a nice touch. Very comfortable beds, best sleep I’ve had in ages! A little noisy if there are folks in the hallway, but easily solved with a towel against the door. Second stay and will definitely be returning!! dog parents, ample places to walk and grass for doing their business.

Serious Management Issues at a Supposed 4-Star Marriott Property I’ve stayed here twice for business trips, and both times were extremely disappointing. The first stay, the AC in my room was broken. On this most recent visit, the toilet was broken and required three separate calls to maintenance before it was finally fixed. Having to repeatedly call for something so basic is unacceptable in any hotel, let alone one marketed as a 4-star. Several key amenities were also unavailable. The restaurant was under construction, and we weren’t told, even at check-in. The fitness center was closed, which we only discovered when we went to use it and saw it completely torn apart through the window. At no point did the hotel communicate this in advance or offer anything to offset the inconvenience. On top of that, construction on the 7th floor meant workers constantly using the elevators, leading to 10–15 minute waits every time, while the express elevator was out of service entirely. I made the hotel aware of these issues during both of my stays, yet nothing meaningful was ever done to address them. To me, this reflects poor management. After two stays with issues like this, I can’t understand how Marriott and Westin allow this property to carry a 4-star rating. We will not be staying here again.

Excellent location. The Valet team was OUTSTANDING! We drove in with a Semi Truck, Calvin and his team took AMAZING care of us throughout our stay. AJ and the younger gentleman at the front desk were extremely kind and welcoming. The bartender whom also was the breakfast Server was VERY FRIENDLY polite and accommodating. She was down to earth and handled every customer with the smiles and quick efficient service. The young lady at the front desk however was rude, unpleasant, short and seemed angry and inconvenienced on both shifts we saw her on. She was hands down the rotten fruit of the hotel, arrogant and miserable. All other staff were AMAZING! We will be back.

First time in Florida so we decided to go with a beach front room. The view was beautiful and weather was perfect. One of the issues we had was one of the nights the power kept cutting out and it was a warm night. We woke up hot and had trouble sleeping. The day prior there was an emergency evacuation. We stood on the 14th floor and had to take the stairs down. I’m currently suffering from a back injury so it was no easy feat. When we got down we were told it wasn’t a real emergency. Everyone on the lobby was eating and ordering at the Starbucks like nothing happened. They could have tried making an announcement before we all ran out barefoot and half asleep. Needless to say I wasn’t happy with our stay. I do want to say a thanks to Aj. He was very friendly and very informative on the surrounding area.

I fully enjoyed my stay here upon my arrival I was greeted by front desk supervisor Tearia and she was so kind and accommodating going above and beyond for us. Big thanks to her! She gave us a beautiful high-floor room and helped us with details of the property and directory. I will definitely come back and visit the only thing was the restaurant food quality was a bit subpar the breakfast wasn’t as good quality but AJ at service express was very kind when he took our order the food wasn’t prepared as described in food menu so not as we had hoped but this is for constructive feedback only! Thank you staff

Take your money elsewhere this place isn't worth the stay. Bed had stains on the sheets toilet paper holder was broken bathroom wasnt very clean. There is a small beach but you cant swim in it. The outdoor furniture was all ripped up. Food was horrible you also have to eat in the lobby and smell a strong odor of cleaning supplies. Customer service front desk people pretty rude we asked about other restaurants to eat at.nobody knew anywhere. Only thing they said were not from around here. Weird. When we spoke to the GM he wanted to talk about other things then the issue we were having. Nothing to do in walking distance. This was by far the worst place I've ever stayed at. The only thing good about this hotel was the valet, and we didn't even have a car.

The Renaissance Tampa International Plaza Hotel offers luxurious rooms and suites equipped with minifridges, along with an outdoor pool and a stylish Mediterranean restaurant. Located near the Bay Street open-air shopping and dining complex, this lifestyle hotel combines casual elegance with luxury. Guests can enjoy amenities such as a restaurant, bar, fitness center, pool, and complimentary Wi-Fi. The hotel's International Event Venue is a versatile space suitable for various events including weddings, corporate meetings, holiday parties, and more.
We stayed at the Renaissance for one night after flying in from London and had an absolutely lovely experience. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very quiet—perfect for a good night’s rest. Everyone we encountered, from front desk to housekeeping, was polite and well-mannered, which made us feel really welcome. The location is also a big plus—just a short walk to the nearby shopping mall, which was really convenient for picking up a few essentials and grabbing a bite to eat. The only downside was the shower—both the pressure and temperature were a bit inconsistent. It took a good 10 minutes for the water to heat up, so definitely plan ahead if you’re in a rush. Aside from that, everything was great and we would definitely recommend staying here!

From the first call to guest services to check out it was a tremendous stay. We were only there for one night but will recommend to anyone traveling to Tampa. Proximity to the airport with shuttle service is so helpful. The hotel is semi attached to the International mall and tons of amazing restaurants. We went to Roco Tacos. Stadiums are super close if you're going to a game. We didn't have time to hit the beach but I believe there is a shuttle service for that as well.

As someone who’s on the road often, I rarely find a hotel that feels like home — but the Renaissance Tampa absolutely did. The front desk team was hilarious and welcoming from the moment I arrived. We traded football banter (I’m a Cowboy fan, one of them a Philly fan), and we were laughing so hard it felt like old friends catching up! The vibe throughout the hotel was just as warm and friendly. The food and bar staff were fantastic, even when our conference crowd kept them hopping. The concierge club snacks were perfect to hold me over until dinner, and breakfast was fresh and delicious — with real eggs (I can always tell!). I loved the clean, inviting spaces, especially the outdoor atrium with its comfy couches. Someone even took a great photo of me in the lobby that I’m now using for my emails! Truly one of the best, most welcoming stays I’ve had in a long time.

I loved this hotel! I was there for four night attending a conference. The breakfast and lunch served to us during our conference was wonderful! So tasty and delicious. The staff was wonderful and always ready to assist. The happy hour drinks were also well made . I ate dinner once in the restaurant and ordered the fig and pig pizza. I highly recommend. I have the room four stars only because there was no hand held shower and I know most of the hotels do t have that, it’s just my personal preference. Everything was clean and well appointed.

I had stayed here a couple of years ago and the experience was very different. The valet and front desk staff do the bare minimum to help and check you in to get out of their way. When we asked the valet if there was an umbrella we could use to get to the parking, he said there weren't any when he did provide one to the people before us! How rude and unprofessional. The rooms look a bit outdated, work and felt a bit stuffy. The beds are comfy and the pool is small but clean. It is a good stay and close to the mall, dining and i4.

Horrendous experience checking with front desk staff member. Condescending and unprofessional. Asked for manager, a small portly woman. And within seconds I understood why the staff member felt she could project an attitude. Obviously trained by this "manager"! Food was incredibly bland and expensive. Now charging for self parking, in an unsecured area of the shopping malls car park!!! How does that make any sense? Rooms were nice and hotel was clean. Most of the rest of the staff were nice.
Sean C — Google review
The hotel was great! 100 points! First of all, the staff at the front desk (her name is Rhiannon!!!! ) was so kind and explained things well. I love how she always has a beautiful smile and how she gently explained things to us, which was really helpful. She recognized us and greeted us the next day, which made our day even more enjoyable. I really hope the manager sees this review! I've been to many good hotels, but I've never seen a staff member who made us feel as good as she did :] The hotel was very clean and the bed mattress was comfortable. The staff who cleaned the room were all kind and quickly brought us everything we asked for. The other hotel facilities were always clean, so I felt really good during my stay. There's a shopping mall nearby, which is convenient, and it's close to the airport. The issues that are not resolved now need to be resolved by having both the hotel and the website we made the reservation charge for the hotel fee. When I contacted the hotel with a problem, they responded quickly and explained it in detail. I'm currently waiting for a call from the site I made the reservation from, but it hasn't been resolved yet. If other people want to make a reservation at this hotel, I would like to recommend that they make a reservation directly with the hotel. However, this issue will not change my review of the hotel. It was a perfect hotel during my stay. I'll be back at this hotel next time I'm in Tampa.

Added so many unpleasant and negative experiences to what was supposed to be a nice birthday vacation. Reached the room to find that our sink was blocked, and the view from the room was that of air vents on top of the building in front. Despite getting the sink repaired, it kept blocking again and again. All the glasses in the room were dirty, and even when we asked for new glasses, we were sent another pair of dirty glasses our way. The lobby of our floor had a rotting, very strong unpleasant smell. The pool is nice, but because of the way it's built, it only gets 2 hours of sunlight in a day. The pool towels were downright disgusting and stained. The good thing was the fairly spacious room size, and the in-room dining food had great portions, reasonably priced and was delicious, and the location is great with plenty of paid parking available. But overall, these incidents left us very disappointed in the hotel.

Emerald Greens Hotel Condo Resort is a refined accommodation option nestled within the lush surroundings of Carrollwood Country Club. The resort offers a family-friendly atmosphere with access to golf courses, a clubhouse restaurant, swimming pool, tennis courts, and a fitness center. The spacious two-bedroom condominiums provide comfortable lodging with screened-in porches offering views of the clubhouse, tennis courts, or swimming pool.
I love this resort! Feels like a real condo verse hotel room with full kitchen, over size king bed. We did the Stay & Play golf on the three courses. All good!

We were looking for a place to stay for a couple of months over the summer while our house was being finished and came across Emerald Greens through the head of membership at Carrollwood Country Club. From the start, David made the whole process painless. He went above and beyond with customer service, even offering a pet-friendly option with a discount when we thought we’d be bringing our dog (though sadly that didn’t end up being the case). The unit itself worked perfectly for a longer stay with two kids. The rooms aren’t the trendiest or most updated, but they’re incredibly spacious. The master suite was huge, the guest room was just as big, and TVs in every room made family living simple. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need to actually live there comfortably for a couple of months, which made a huge difference. The best part was the amenities. Having unlimited access to the pool, splash pad, and playground on site was a complete game changer for us with kids. On top of that, everyone living there full-time was welcoming and kind, we made some genuine friendships during our short stay. And if you’re a golfer, it doesn’t get better: you can literally walk across the parking lot to the driving range and clubhouse. Many nights we’d stroll over for dinner, live music, or drinks at Carrollwood Country Club, and the food and cocktails were consistently fantastic. All in all, Emerald Green is not about flashy luxury, it’s about comfort, convenience, and community. For a family-friendly extended stay with unbeatable access to golf and country club amenities, it’s a 10/10 experience.

Great location to go to Bush Gardens, Zoo, etc. Several restaurants and grocery stores are nearby for shopping. Manager is very nice and helpful. Nice pool and splash pad. Would be nice to have the pool decks cleaned at night to remove bark, leaves and such. Only items in room were the coffee pot, which had coffee grounds spilled in it, and the master shower had no shelf or place to sit a bar of soap or shampoo. You have to put it on the floor. We did find a soap dish on the vanity sink so we put that in the back corner of the shower to place a bar of soap. The beds are very comfortable, it was quiet and our room was spacious and nicely decorated. Thank you for a great vacation stay!

Our jaws dropped when we first got to our place. Higher end finishings, very spacious, and quiet. The balcony overlooked a splash pad and a large pool. Everything was quite clean, smelled nice. Would absolutely recommend!!

Such a great experience working with Dean Baker. He was very kind and helpful when I needed to make changes to our stay based on my sister's schedule at Moffitt. The condos are spacious, clean and comfortable and the grounds are also beautiful. A great location, close to grocery, shopping and major roads. Definitely an excellent place for long-term stays! Hope to come back!

It's a very nice place to stay for families. It's spacious so we weren't on top of each other, and the fact that everyone had their own bed was a definite plus. Although the oven hadn't been cleaned after the previous renter, having a full kitchen helped us save on food because we were able to cook instead of buying fast food the entire vacation. My only complaint would be the smell of urine near the coach. I understand pets are allowed but maybe they should designate a certain floor or maybe certain rooms for people with pets.

We recently rented a two bedroom condo at Emerald Greens Resort for two weeks and could not be happier. The apartment was spacious, clean and fully furnished. There was room service on a daily basis and all the service staff was wonderful. They always helped with whatever we needed and kept the place very clean. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay somewhere spacious, clean and comfortable.
