Gateway Of India Mumbai

4.6

Historical landmark
Monument
The Gateway of India stands as a prominent monument in Mumbai, built to honor the visit of King George V and Queen Mary. This iconic structure symbolizes the British colonial era and holds historical significance as it was the departure point for the final British troops after India gained independence. Designed by Scottish architect George Wittet, its Indo-Saracenic style reflects a blend of Indo-Islamic, Indian, and Roman architectural influences.
Evergreen place to see the most famous tourist spot in Mumbai. Avoid holidays and peak hours if you want to avoid rush. Maintenance work is going on presently and might not be able to move around the monument easily.

Growing up in Bombay- I frequented this place and it's got a special place in my heart- not to mention we share a birthday. This is an iconic structure that has not changed. Now visiting it as a tourist from overseas, it still captires the charm and innocence as I see families, children and young couples take selfies, chaiwallahs selling hot sweet tea and instant photographers offering the ultimate background of the Taj hotel or the gateway. Do partake of the boat ride- the diesel run bimoy ride will take out out a kilometre and back a hundred years. And the pigeons- every Victorian building attracts pigeons. Best tiem to visit is at sunrise when the city is still asleep.

As a first-time visitor to Mumbai, seeing the Gateway of India was truly one of the highlights of my trip. The moment I arrived, I was awestruck by the grandeur of this iconic monument. The structure itself, with its impressive Indo-Saracenic architecture, stands tall and majestic, overlooking the Arabian Sea. It feels like stepping into a piece of history — you can almost imagine the days when important dignitaries arrived here during the British era. What truly made the experience special was the breathtaking view. Facing the open sea, with the cool breeze on your face and the sound of the waves in the background, the entire scene feels both peaceful and inspiring. The area is lively yet not overwhelming — people are enjoying the view, clicking photos, or simply soaking in the atmosphere. Right across from the Gateway stands the famous Taj Mahal Palace Hotel, which adds to the charm of the place. The view of this grand hotel alongside the Gateway is picture-perfect, especially as the sun starts to set and the lights slowly illuminate the surroundings. Everything about my visit felt just right — the clean promenade, the vibrant energy of visitors, and the rich history all around. It’s a spot where you can pause, reflect, and truly appreciate the beauty and spirit of Mumbai. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city for the first time.

Nestled in the heart of Mumbai, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya (CSMVS) is a grand museum that showcases the beauty of Indo-Saracenic architecture. Originally named the Prince of Wales Museum, this cultural gem was designed by German architect George Wittet and opened its doors in 1909. The stunning dome draws inspiration from Bijapur's Gol Gumbaz, while its finial echoes the elegance of the Taj Mahal.
Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, Mumbai Located in the heart of South Mumbai, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya (CSMVS) is one of India’s premier museums, showcasing the country’s rich heritage through art, archaeology, and natural history. Established in 1922 during the British era as the Prince of Wales Museum, it was later renamed to honor Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. The building itself is an architectural marvel, blending Indo-Saracenic, Mughal, and Maratha influences, with grand domes, arches, and expansive galleries. The museum houses a vast collection of over 50,000 artifacts, ranging from ancient sculptures, miniature paintings, decorative arts, coins, and textiles to European paintings and natural history exhibits. Key highlights include intricate stone and bronze sculptures, Mughal and Rajput miniature paintings, and a fascinating Egyptian mummy on display. For history buffs and art lovers, it offers a deep dive into India’s cultural, artistic, and historical legacy. How to Reach: From Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CST), the museum is about 4 km away, easily accessible by taxi, auto, or a 15–20 minute drive. It’s also close to Gateway of India and Colaba, making it convenient to combine with other South Mumbai sightseeing. Activities & Tips: Explore the galleries at a relaxed pace; each section is well-curated with informative plaques. Photography is allowed in the museum’s corridors but usually restricted inside galleries, so check signage. Visit the museum café and gift shop for a break or souvenirs. Combine your visit with nearby attractions like the Gateway of India, Jehangir Art Gallery, or a stroll around Horniman Circle. CSMVS is perfect for anyone looking to understand India’s historical depth, artistic finesse, and cultural diversity. Whether you’re a tourist or a local, it’s an enriching, serene escape from the city bustle.

A great place to learn & observe our ancient culture and creativity. This place requires a whole day properly to read about each items and their history. A quite interesting place to spend time for those who is specially attracted to such items. Their are 3 floors , each of them having their own special interest. We took a ticket of ₹200/each. 😄 Although we had only 1hour left. We just ran and took some photos as fast as we can. But if you are planning to have a visit , get here with time like in the morning. Once the clock hits 6pm , you have to evacuate the campus. Must say, Tata family have a great taste in such type of cases.

The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya (CSMVS) in Mumbai is a treasure trove of India’s rich history and culture. Set in a stunning Indo-Saracenic building near the Gateway of India, the museum beautifully preserves artifacts spanning centuries—from ancient sculptures, miniature paintings, and decorative arts to rare coins and weaponry. The curation is thoughtful, with detailed explanations that make history come alive for both enthusiasts and casual visitors. The highlight is the section dedicated to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, showcasing his valor and vision with impressive exhibits. The museum also features international art and natural history displays, adding diversity to the experience. The ambience is calm, the staff are courteous, and the premises are well-maintained. Whether you’re a Mumbaikar or a traveler, a visit here offers a fascinating glimpse into India’s glorious past and artistic heritage. A must-visit for anyone who values history and culture.

My visit to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya (formerly Prince of Wales Museum) was truly an unforgettable experience! 🏛️✨ Located right in the heart of Mumbai near Fort and Kala Ghoda, this museum is easy to reach by bus, train, or cab — very well connected and marked clearly on Google Maps. 🚆🚌 The first thing that amazed me was its beautiful Indo-Saracenic architecture — the grand dome, detailed carvings, and the lush green garden around it make the museum itself a piece of art. Once you step inside, every gallery feels like a journey through time. From ancient Indian sculptures, Mughal miniature paintings, and royal weapons to Egyptian artefacts and Chinese ceramics, the collection is truly world-class. 🌍🎨 I loved how clean and well-organized the place was. The staff were friendly, and the facilities like restrooms, sitting areas, and the small café made the visit comfortable. There’s even a children’s section and interactive displays, which make it great for families too. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 You’ll easily spend 2–3 hours exploring and still feel there’s more to see. The calm and peaceful atmosphere makes it perfect for history lovers, art admirers, and anyone looking to explore Mumbai’s cultural heritage. Overall, it’s one of the best museums I’ve ever visited — beautiful, educational, and inspiring! Highly recommended to everyone visiting Mumbai. 🌟

Second visit on 26th October 2025 — visited with family. This time, we explored all the museums thoroughly. However, many sections were under repair and maintenance, so less than half of the museum was open or exhibits were shifted. Still, we discovered many previously unseen things and had a great experience overall. A must-visit if you want to learn about Indian history!. For foreigners, I highly recommend getting the audio guide kit — it explains everything in detail. If you’re planning to visit, it’s better to come after 4 to 6 months since renovation work is ongoing. Definitely recommended — go for it
SUSHANT — Google review
If you’re in Mumbai and interested in art, history, culture — the CSMVS comes across as one of the must-visits. The building alone is worth seeing. If you allocate at least 2 hours, maybe 3 if you’re keen, you’ll get a fulfilling experience. It works both for serious museum-goers and casual visitors wanting a rich heritage stop.
Akhildev P — Google review
The newly renovated museum surprised us with the wonderful collection. Make sure to spend a good few many hours to explore the three storied building peacefully. The ground floor centre is under renovation, however it won’t matter as you will have so much more to explore. Most of the collection on the third floor is all thanks to the Tata family, it’s so amazing to see how generous they have been to India!
Batul K — Google review
Must visit museum in Mumbai. The building itself is amazing. The surrounding garden is beautiful, with a gorgeous Buddha, peacefully resting on the grass. One must take enough time because the collections are wide and rich. The museum is perfectly maintained and the staff is kind, smiling and helpful.

It serves as a gateway to paradise for book lovers, with its bustling market offering an array of books. Navigating through narrow pathways created amidst towering piles of books, visitors can explore various genres including classics, thrillers, erotica, encyclopedias, academic works, romance novels and even vintage comics.
Flora Fountain has seen a much transformation over the decades. Today it's not what it used to be in the 90's. The ambience has become more tourist friendly. Located in the midst of busy road near Churchgate station, it's a landmark destination of Mumbai City. Built in 1864, this stunning Gothic Revival fountain and sculpture celebrates the Roman goddess Flora, gracefully perched at the top! Once a quiet marvel, today it’s a lively spot right by the bustling road. We went there in the evening after sunset and were attracted by the beautiful ambience of the place. On one side is the noise of ongoing traffic while on the other side you can sit and relax as you soak in the beauty of flora fountain. The place has been beautifully decorated with sitting facilities that attracts tourists as well as the locals to take a break and sit on the benches or on the grass and invest sometime in the night light that illuminates the area. The street side eatery takes care of your small hunger. If you are in Mumbai do take this opportunity to visit flora fountain. Such a beautiful place to visit. Reminds me of my college days. The weather was just apt. I was returning back after a seminar and the skyline interspersed with dark feathery clouds in the midst of a clear blue sky with this beautiful monument in front was just too much to miss. It made me stop back and click some pics of this great European style monument which adds so much beauty to the buildings around it. Worth a visit if you are passing by to admire it's beautiful architecture.

Dream Design Interiors is a bustling shopping street in Mumbai that offers a wide range of trendy clothing, bags, clutches, and accessories. It's known for its comical side, as it features fake branded items like Gucci bags with misspelled names and Puma sportswear turned into 'Pume.' The market caters to various fashion needs, from western to ethnic wear and clothes for children.
Fashion Street is a shopper’s paradise – affordable clothes, trendy styles, and endless options.
Lowrence F — Google review
Good market for clothes only if you know how to bargain.. there is a chance you are being told 3 Times the actual rate.😔 Good for mens tshirts, shirts and many more. Very little for women. Not many food outlets on the road. Best time to come in evening.🍋🍌

Clothes are cheap and trendy, but quality is hit or miss. Some shopkeepers are rude, so bargain smartly. Crowded but good for budget shopping
Bhautik P — Google review
Fashion street is one the famous place in mumbai for shopping. In this street you can get trendy & latest clothes for men, women, kids. Not even clothes you can buy footwear for men, women & kids, jewellery, hand bags, purse & belts many more things. Quality of the clothes not so good or not so bad but check properly before buy it sometimes it's defective piece. Firstly they will tell you very high rates of the things so think about bargaining. Some shopkeepers bargain and some are very rude and do not bargain. So think carefully before buying things.
Arpita S — Google review
Visit this place if you have good bargaining ability else don't go near this place. Everything is trendy but low cost copy of branded products, you cannot resist this place :) you will get all types of latest trendy clothes here, plus all duplicate perfumes , shades and shoes. Again only if you can bargain hard n know what you are paying for. These products don't last forever but given the price you can't resist them...anyway it's a long stretch of small shoes along the road. You will get tired of shopping here...dont bargain as long as you don't really want to buy something, that way you don't have to face the anger of the shopkeepers. It's fun shopping here just don't except , exceptional quality from the product.
Vikrant M — Google review
This place is truly a heaven for budget shoppers! Perfect for middle-class people who love good-quality clothes, mobile accessories, and electronic items at affordable prices. If you have good bargaining skills, you can grab amazing deals — like two pairs of jeans for just ₹500! It’s ideal for those who enjoy trying new styles without spending too much and don’t mind using products for a few months. A great spot for variety under budget!

Highly recommended for nature lovers and anyone looking for calm and beauty in the heart of Mumbai! 🌿✨

🏕️I recently visited Hanging Garden after many years, and honestly, it was a little disappointing. I had been here around 10-12 years ago during my college days, and at that time, the garden was absolutely beautiful. It used to be very big, full of colorful flowers, well-maintained green grass, and spacious sitting areas — the whole atmosphere was so peaceful and fresh. But now, most of the area has been reduced, there are very few flowers, and the green grass has almost disappeared. The beauty and charm which it had earlier is definitely missing now. I still remember how beautiful it used to be during my college days — full of greenery, colorful flowers, and spacious sitting areas. I miss that charm. Giving 4 stars only because of the memories attached to this place.😊

One of the oldest and beautiful gardens of South Mumbai. It is already situated in a height in Malabar Hills. It has really scenic view. Lots of cats can be seen. A heaven place for Cat Lovers. The garden itself has many plants trimmed in shape of animals. Entry is free here. Please keep it clean. I have seen many littered wrappers.

Visited the Hanging Gardens on Malabar Hill, and it’s a fun and refreshing spot in the middle of the city. • Attractions: The famous giant shoe structure is a highlight, especially for kids and families. • Layout: Spread out across a vast area with neatly maintained gardens, pathways, and viewpoints overlooking Marine Drive and the Arabian Sea. • Experience: Walking down into the valley area gives a sense of space and greenery you don’t often find in Mumbai. • Vibe: Calm, breezy, and good for a casual stroll, picnic, or just some downtime. Overall, Hanging Gardens is a great place to relax, enjoy the views, and explore—a simple but worthwhile escape in South Mumbai.

Phoenix Palladium is a massive, upscale shopping center located in Lower Parel, Mumbai. It boasts an impressive collection of well-known international shops and a variety of restaurants, making it one of the best malls in the city. With over 500 brands to choose from, visitors can shop for clothing, electronics, accessories, home decor, and luxury items. The mall also features a supermarket for grocery needs. After indulging in retail therapy, guests can relax in the courtyard and enjoy various activities.
This is like a mall but a better and sophisticated version of it. You'll find the outlets here and less Multi-Brand stores. It's super clean and has an amazing vibe. A few food and cafe/coffee options. Has all essential ones. I visited on a Sunday afternoon and wasn't much crowded.

Palladium Phoenix Mall is hands down one of the best mall. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the upscale yet welcoming vibe. Whether you're craving Indian, Asian, Italian, or just want to grab a good coffee and dessert, there are endless options. Some are perfect for a fancy meal, while others are great for quick bites while you're shopping. The mall itself is beautifully designed, modern, and spacious with lots of natural light and aesthetic corners. It’s not just a shopping destination; it’s a whole experience. You can easily spend hours here without realizing it. From luxury brands to popular high-street stores, the retail options are extensive.

Phoenix Palladium was a really nice experience! The mall looked amazing with all the Diwali decorations — super festive vibes everywhere. It was quite crowded since I went right after Diwali, but that just added to the energy. I picked up a perfume called Stronger With You (they’ve got some really good niche perfume options), and we also played at Game Palacio — did some billiards and bowling which was a lot of fun. Grabbed nachos and pizza afterwards — solid food spots around too. Tons of clothing stores and shoe brands, everything from high-end to casual. Overall, a really fun time — definitely one of the best malls in Mumbai to chill, shop, and hang out with friends.

North Indian restaurant
Located near Phoenix Market city in Kurla West, Mumbai, Ishaara is a versatile venue suitable for hosting intimate gatherings such as birthday parties and anniversaries. The in-house chefs are renowned for preparing delectable multi-cuisine vegetarian dishes that leave guests craving for more. What sets Ishaara apart is its unique concept of employing staff with physical impairments, transcending language barriers by using sign names on the back of their uniforms to communicate with customers.
After missing in action for sometime my husband and I decided to catch up with our rider buddies... and I booked us a table at Ishara, Palladium Mall. Lower Parel... it was an amazing experience... the ambience, food, decor, service everything was simply superb... but wt puts the cherry on the icing is the specially abled staff who impeccably serve u with utmost sincerity n smile... we ordered Pani puri... mutton dori kebab, mushroom galauti kebab, chicken malai tikka, gunpowder potatoes, beliram ghosht curry, poppadom platter, Dal Khichdi and steam rice... the whiskey sour and red sangria... and ended on a sweet note with filter coffee panacotta and rasmalai tres leeches... it's a must visit for any food lovers...

A first-of-a kind concept where the servers are all hearing impaired and you have to talk to them in a sign language. Coming to food, it surpassed my expectations. We started with the water chestnut and sweetcorn tikki and it was amazing. I just wish the mustard dressing was a bit abundant. The next in line was the farmhouse pizza and let me assure you it is quite different than what you must have had at other places. The stand-out factor is the pizza base sauce. For the main course, we had the Paneer Makhani and it was sumptuous, with the right amount of malai and spice. The garlic naan was one of the best that I have ever had. Laccha paratha is great as well. Worth trying are their mocktails as well, especially the fruit punch one. The service is pretty quick and the servers were extremely affable. I will definitely be returning to this place to try their varied menu. And kudos to the owner for empowering the people with disabilities.

Had a wonderful experience at Ishaara! The ambiance was lovely and the food was delicious, but what really made the visit special was the amazing service. Nikhil and Akash were incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. Their warmth and professionalism truly stood out
Janhavi S — Google review
A truly heartwarming experience. The entire team communicates through gestures, yet their warmth and attentiveness speak louder than words. It’s inspiring to see how beautifully they’ve turned silence into such an expressive language. Akash, who attended us, was absolutely wonderful, polite, patient and incredibly efficient. His genuine smile and clarity in communication made the whole experience even more special. Every staff member carries such grace and kindness, making you feel welcomed and cared for. And the food, absolutely incredible! The chicken biryani, chicken tikka and mocktail were bursting with flavor and perfectly made.

I recently visited Ishaara restaurant and it was a beautiful experience. What makes this place truly special is that most of the staff are speech impaired, but they serve with so much warmth and professionalism. It’s really inspiring to see how well they communicate using sign language, and the menu also has simple signs to help customers interact easily. The ambience is classy and peaceful — perfect for a relaxed meal. The food was delicious too! Each dish was nicely presented and full of flavour. The service was smooth and made us feel very welcome. Ishaara is not just a restaurant, it’s an experience that shows how ability goes beyond words. Highly recommend visiting — for the food, the atmosphere, and the heart behind it

A truly heartwarming and unique dining experience at Ishara in Palladium Mall, Mumbai. The staff, who are hearing-impaired, communicate through sign language—making every interaction thoughtful and memorable. The food was delicious, with a variety of well-balanced flavors. But the highlight? The kulfi at the end—absolutely divine! Highly recommend visiting not just for the food, but for the inspiring experience. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Ishaara turned out to be an absolute gem of a find. Certainly wasn't expecting anything like this in a shopping centre attached to the hotel we were staying. The ambiance was truly wonderful, setting the stage for an amazing culinary experience. Every dish we ordered was an absolute delight, but the Dal Haveli and Madras Lamb Curry were simply amazing. What elevates this place beyond just great food is its truli inspiring concept of employing staff with speech and hearing impairment, who provide incredibly warm and attentive service, well beyond what we are used to in typical restaurants. This place is a must-visit in Mumbai for not only a fantastic meal but also a genuinely heartwarming and socially conscious experience.

Mughlai restaurant
Ayub's Restaurant is a small and unpretentious eatery that caters to the late-night crowd with its selection of rolls, kebabs, and other snacks. Despite appearing like a typical Mughlai/Chinese restaurant at first glance, Ayub's surprises diners with its delicious food.
Good non veg snacking. Late night ho to place.
Roshni C — Google review
The famous Ayubs at Kala Ghoda. Waiting time here can go upto an hour on weekends but the wait is worth it. Parking can be an issue but if you go late beyond 12am then you may get a spot. Food is excellent. The chicken malai kathi rolls are worth it. The mutton seekh is also good. And definitely try the baida roti. The chicken drumsticks are good too. Slightly overpriced but I think it's worth the hype. Definitely going here again. And again.
Ameya S — Google review
This is street food at its best in south Mumbai. With family and friends, take your car because the bonnet acts as a table top. Order kababs, baida/egg roti, chicken/mutton keema, etc. Avoid weekends if you are looking for a leisurely dinner. Have been a frequent diner here, experienced some bad days too, maybe the regular chefs were absent. But will keep visiting.

Fond of kebabs then ilthis place has to be in your list. Seekh roll is just awesome. The kathi roll is so deliciuos and filling. Pricing is also pocket friendly

Place for excellent rolls in Mumbai Tried the sheekh roll, egg roll and chicken tikka roll. It was awesome and the spicy chutney had a nice kick. This place is no frill place which is open late in the night
Gururaj S — Google review
Overpriced. Maybe because of the area and location and no other options available... if youre a good eater, 2 ppl will end up spending 1500 to 2000 here. The place is not very clean. Most people come in cars for takeaways.. Being a seekh fan... i think Haji Tikka at bohri mohalla is a better and cheaper option.
Kalim A — Google review
Very much hyped and there are many far better options than this restaurant. Please no one gets offended because just wanna give fair and honest review. Food has no taste and overpriced.

They serve on of the best roll in the area and the resturant serves till 2 am. The place is always crowded with families, couples, friends and with great taste and service. The chutneis served with sliced onion is a must try and if one's taste buds can't take heat please keep mazaa handly. The combination tastes yum with roll. They have other options also to offer and each one has its own usp. If you are travelling with family and need to sit inside make sure to reach before 12 am. The food is also served in your car in the parking.

Sea Lounge is a sophisticated hotel lounge with stunning ocean views, adorned with art deco elements and offering a blend of British and Indian cuisine, including traditional afternoon tea. The menu features an array of exquisite coffees from various regions, such as the Ethiopian Sidamo with hints of chocolate and lemon peel, the bold Aged Malabar Monsoon with nutmeg and cedar flavors, and the exclusive Jamaican Blue Mountain.
Classic and ethereal experience. The buffet was lip smacking, vast and severely indulgent. The view was the icing on the cake. Abhinav from their staff recommended a foamy thick cold coffee and it was delicious. They were even kind enough to parcel a cold coffee for me. Smiling, sweet servers and an atmosphere that took you back in time. It was a hearty and heartening experience.

I I love the service given by the staff, food and atmosphere. I love to celebrate my birthday all alone every year in this place. All alone or with your family you would love the vibe and foods.

5/5 stars I was there for dinner with my family but Shamiana offers buffet on weekend, there is no ala-carte option in shamiana on weekend so we headed towards sea lounge. The Sea Lounge at Taj Mahal Palace was truly an unforgettable experience, this lounge offers stunning views of the Gateway of India and the Arabian Sea. The ambiance is elegant and sophisticated, with plush seating, rich decor, and a warm atmosphere that makes you feel like royalty. The highlight of my visit was the breathtaking view of the sea and the Gateway of India. Sipping on a cup of hot chocolate while gazing out at the vast expanse of the Arabian Sea was a truly rejuvenating experience. The lounge's sprawling windows and beautifully designed interior make it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The service at The Sea Lounge was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who catered to our every need. They were knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations. The food and beverages were delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed our brunch. We tried too many things there like hot chocolate, cold coffee, samosa chaat, pani puri and many more. And their pani puri and samosa chaat is highly recommended. What impressed me most was the attention to detail and the luxurious feel of the lounge. From the beautifully crafted furniture to the impeccable service, everything screamed luxury and sophistication. Overall, The Sea Lounge at Taj Mahal Palace is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a luxurious experience in Mumbai. Whether you're looking to relax, unwind, or simply enjoy a delicious meal with a stunning view, this lounge is the perfect spot. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mumbai!"

The place did almost live up to expectations. The food was awesome - the salmon, lamb crab cakes were spot on, as was the Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. Bakery
Yazdani Restaurant & Bakery is a charming, old-school Iranian bakery and cafe located in Mumbai. Established in 1953, it has retained its nostalgic ambiance with vintage decor and handmade baked goods. The menu features a variety of Persian breads, delectable treats like Apple Cinnamon Pie and Carrot Cake, as well as the popular bun maska enjoyed with Irani chai. The rustic setting with old posters and advertisements on the walls adds to its retro charm.
Open everyday from 7am to 7pm (including SUNDAYS)!! Massive fan of their bakery products, they are delicious and a must visit spot to experience the true essence and old world charm of Bombay!! Chai and bun maskaa on top 🔝🔝

Very old and famous bakery. I came here to see if it’s worth trying the products here. Took Veg fortune cookie and was okay, it’s fortune is the one people seeks, and I got “Good humour is actually goodness and wise”. Note: Non veg fortune cookie is also there so please check before buying. (Rs 25 each) Also took mava cake and that one was nice. (Rs 40 each) Service is quite ok, as in mornings there is no sitting option and there are only one person serving, so there was a small line. Ambience is not the role here, just old buildings vibe and not so good to say about it.

Yazdan Bakery is a true old-school gem, preserving the charm of classic Iranian bakeries in the heart of the city. Known for its simple, no-frills ambiance, this place is all about great baked goods and timeless flavors. Their Mawa Cake is an absolute must-try—soft, rich, and full of flavor, making it a perfect companion to a cup of chai. Another standout is their Fortune Cookie, a delightful treat that keeps you coming back for more. Everything here is baked fresh, ensuring you get the best quality. One important thing to note: they only accept cash, so make sure to carry some when you visit. If you appreciate traditional bakeries with a focus on quality over extravagance, Yazdan Bakery is a must-visit. A perfect spot to grab some freshly baked treats and experience a slice of nostalgia. Highly recommended! 🍪☕

simple, old-school spot with limited options. Their fortune cookies (₹25 each) are crisp and good to try, the mawa cake was okayish, and the bun maska serves better with chai.

A Slice of History with Every Bite! I recently visited Yazdani Bakery, and I must say, it was an incredible experience! This iconic bakery has been around since 1950, and its rich history is palpable in every corner. From the vintage decor to the traditional baking methods, Yazdani Bakery is a true Mumbai landmark. The bakery offers an impressive array of products, from classic bread and biscuits to cakes, pastries, and cookies. I tried a few of their signature items, and each one was delicious in its own right. The prices are very reasonable, making it a great place to stock up on snacks and treats. However, be prepared for a challenge when it comes to parking! The bakery is located in a busy area, and finding a spot can be tough. But trust me, it's worth the hassle. Overall, Yazdani Bakery is a must-visit destination for anyone who loves food, history, and culture. It's a true gem in the heart of Mumbai, and I highly recommend it. Will I visit again? Absolutely!

Spanning over 12 lakh square feet, this galleria-like mall caters to diverse preferences with its mix of sophisticated and laid-back atmospheres. R City Mall in Ghatkopar West stands out as a comprehensive destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment. Its extensive range of stores, eateries, and leisure activities make it a favored spot for us. The interior design is undeniably luxurious. High-end finishes, elegant decor, and attention to detail create a sophisticated and upscale atmosphere throughout the mall. The food court is quite large, offering diverse cuisines, though it does get busy, especially on weekends. There are also many restaurants and cafes around the mall, ideal for those who want a more relaxed dining experience. My kids loved the snow world must to visit. In 1 hour you can enjoy to the fullest. Its gaming arcade, Kidzania, is famous among kids in Mumbai.

Nandos don’t need any introduction. They are world renowned chain from South Africa, specialising mainly in grilled chicken, salads and variety of sides. This is a new outlet in a mall with decent seating space, though weekend may experience waiting. Also for the reason that average seating time is high due to kind of food served and time it takes to prepare it. Manager mentioned “this is the smallest outlet in India as we couldn’t get bigger space in mall” Food is excellent, what they are known for. Service is good. Try their mocktails 🍹 and explore options in food. You must try their churros!

Seats in this IMAX screens are very ordinary and older which is provided in other regural screen in this theatre. Sound system is also not so Immersive and Impressive. Hence the High ticket price for this IMAX not worth the spend. Visited Inox R City I'm Feb 2025. One of the biggest shopping malls i have visited! Phoenix Marketcity is a fantastic spot for a comprehensive shopping and entertainment outing. The mall is immaculately maintained, with bright, modern interiors and a very spacious layout that prevents it from feeling too cramped, even during peak hours. The retail selection is excellent, featuring a strong mix of high-street brands, anchor department stores, and some premium international labels. Whether you're looking for fashion, electronics, or home decor, you'll likely find it here. The food and entertainment options are definitely a highlight. The food court is massive, offering almost every cuisine imaginable for a quick bite. Plus, there are several upscale restaurants for a more relaxed dining experience. The cinema multiplex is top-tier and always a good place to catch a film. My only reason for deducting a star is the weekend crowd. It can get overwhelmingly busy on Saturday and Sunday evenings, making parking and moving around the popular sections a bit of a hassle. Pro-tip: visit during a weekday afternoon for a much calmer experience! Overall, it's a vibrant, clean, and highly functional mall—a must-visit if you're in the area.

Worst tacobell ever, manager Anil jaiswal, employee Navin 0 ethics, 0 manners! Also they refused to reprint the bill. We had encountered taste issues with burrito, they gave us beans gravy in small dip container and that was tasteless too, they literally faught with us to prove their point and told to open up the burrito in front of them and in front of everyone as we were telling a lie! We also didn't took the refill which we paid for, it was very embarrassing. Worst experience ever.

I'm sad that the outlets at Oberoi Malad mall and Viviana Thane mall no longer exist. But it is here at R-city and they've opened one at Hiranandani Estate, The Walk. Very similar in flavours to the American original, but with a slight Indian twist on the veggie choices. Impeccable service, a welcome gesture, timing, food quality. Even if you don't like Mexican , you would start liking it after a visit here. Overall had a great experience would love to visit and recommend other to visit this food joint in future. A delightful yet yummy mouthwatering taste. • Veg Manchurian Rice - A classic Manchurian with gravy and Fried rice taste was really good! A lots of veggies with good quality! • Pink Panther Pasta - This pink sauce pasta was soo cheesy and blendes easily with all the veggies like broccoli, bell peppers and sweetcorn which made its taste just soo perfect!! • Paneer Zaikedar Stuff Crust Pizza - This a unique yet tasty dish I have tried and it was soo yummy! In all the taste is amazing and proper hygiene is taken care!😋❤

Food is awesome but the service is very slow, must try are the garlic bread. Its an awesome place for pizza lovers. The combos offered by the outlet are pocket friendly and decent quantity. I ordered combo of regular pizza+garlic bread+mocktail. All for 249! and the best part that's inclusive of GST. Its very easy to locate and clean place as well. A perfect budget pizza joint.

It is a Pizza and pasta outlet with a small dining area where you can chill out with friends and all, I have been here quite a few times. It has a speciality in Pizzas, I'll say not the authentic Pizza taste but very good food by taste and quality as well. We have tried almost all the items they serve and they are good. Staff I have observed here looks and talks professional having good knowledge of things they serve. I'll add obviously that they have less options in dessert but overall a very good Pizza outlet.

This outlet is located in Sakinaka, has a very comprehensive menu. Couldnt resist going through pizza menu since it has great variety. The other dishes are also captivating. The delivery came within the time frame. The food was fresh and hot when delivered. I ordered Tikka tikka pizza A medium size tikka tikka pizza with makhani flavour. The toppings of peas, panerr cubes, veggies as evenky spread. It has soft crust ,my personal favourite one. Its enough for 1 person to get full Pink panther pasta Comes with a thick pink sauce seasoning, varietues of veggies tossed in pink sauce, it was extremely delicious. The quantity is for one person. The packaging was great. Veg fried rice It was spicy and well prepared. The taste was at par. The quantity is also fair enough for one person. Love triangle pizza Its cheap and affordable one in the list. The smeared cheese is absolutely flattering. It has soft crust and good amount of toppings. Dishes were great as per expectations. Considering the prices, it worth to order from this outlet.

If I was to tell you of one place that will never disappoint you when it comes to good Italian indianised veg food it has to be cheelliza. Over the years this one has become one of my favorites.and I was very happy that even during such times I was able to call for excellent food very well packaged. My order and recommendation your usually is Hara bhara pizza - this is like a deep dish pizza with yummy cheese and veggies stuffed inside. If you are a fan of deep dish or simply cheesy pizza definitely recommend this one. Exotic paneer fondue- with 6 pieces arranged in a hexagon shape and cheese sauce in the centre this is one party starter. Spicy and delicious with paneer you just cannot go wrong if you are ordering this one. This is my mother's favourite dish. Peppy cilantro rice- the aroma of this rice is mind blowing. It is cheesy and wholesome. Not at all bland but full of flavour. Definitely recommend this.

A cozy place located in the industrial area of Marol. Interiors are contemporary and suit the mood for a quick snack. Staff is welcoming and friendly and the wait time for orders is considerably reasonable. We went for a Corn garlic bread and a thin crust margarita Pizza. The have a unique dish named pizza fondue which is a really must try. We ordered:- 1. Mint mojito 2. Lavender lemonade 3. Cheesy garlic bread 4. Supreme garlic bread 5. Exotic paneer fondue 6. Chocolate brownie with ice cream The pizza fondue and cheesy garlic bread are highly recommended and dessert was amazing . We had a really great experience and would surely recommend this place.

It's an awesome place for Pizza lovers...Colourful n cozy Ambience, courteous staff and absolutely lovely food... Have retained 1 star as during a visit had asked black olives to be replaced with corn, the request was curtly denied... They could have added the same by taking extra charge for additional ingredient as is the option given on Zomato while ordering online..

Fine dining restaurant
Masala Library by Jiggs Kalra offers an upscale and imaginative dining experience with its modern ambiance and eclectic menu. The restaurant, located in the bustling Bandra Kurla Complex, is a top choice for fine dining in Mumbai. Known for its pretentious yet marvelous dining experience, the tasting menu is highly recommended as it showcases a variety of small but satisfying portions.
Have been hearing about this place since maybe 2-3 years. Finally went there yesterday on my anniversary. Tried the tasting menu. It was a 9 course meal. Check the photo the menu and items. Every dish was unique and amazing to taste. Though expensive it’s worth a visit for a special occasion. Good food , nice service , great vibes.

Was always a big fan but my last visit was absolutely below average. The food was good but not we expect with masala library. The server played smart with giving us the mineral water and charging it. These things leaves a bad taste. Overall an average experience.
Jasleen B — Google review
Masala Library is located in BKC and it is easy to find. The restaurant comes from Massive Restaurants by Jiggs Kalra hence you should he prepared that the dining experience here will not be a traditional one. They have prepared a multi course tasting meal which has appetisers, mains and desserts and don’t think about the quantity as it looks less but at the end of the meal your stomach will be full and you will be definitely satisfied. The restaurant is spacious with fine dine decor and seats are arranged systematically. Loved the minimal approach and the dim lights adds nice touch to the overall ambiance. Went here for a weekday dinner and the kitchen service was on time and table service by staff Sanket & Nilesh was excellent as they knew the menu well and they were attentive and proactive. This time I won’t be explaining each and every dish as the list of items we tried was big and I have mentioned the entire menu below. In brief I can say that it was indeed a memorable dining experience as the dishes made here are unique taste wise and the use of ingredient wise. They have created something that they can only make and you will not get such dishes anywhere. It is pricey but you can go here to celebrate something special as it will make you happy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 An absolute gem for food lovers! This restaurant truly stands out for its non-veg specialties — the Nalli Nihari is slow-cooked to perfection, rich in flavor, and melts in your mouth. The Fish and Prawns dishes were equally impressive — fresh, perfectly spiced, and beautifully plated. But the real showstopper was the Jalebi Caviar — an innovative twist that combines tradition and creativity in the most delicious way. Crispy jalebi pearls with a gourmet touch of caviar — simply outstanding! Great ambiance, warm service, and consistent quality make this place a must-visit. Perfect for anyone who appreciates fine flavors with a modern edge. Highly recommended! 🍴🔥 Sorry for only adding photos of half finish jalebi caviar.

I went a few years ago, so the menu will have changed. Masala library really set the scene for new modern cooking in Mumbai and they explored techniques that hadn't been seen in the city. The food in my opinion was good but not incredible, it felt heavy and sat in the stomach but that could have been what we ordered. I would like to go back to try it again

siddhi vinayak mandir Shree Siddhivinayak Temple, located in Prabhadevi, Mumbai, is one of the most revered temples dedicated to Lord Ganesha in India. Originally built in 1801 by Laxman Vithu and Deubai Patil, it is famed for granting wishes and draws thousands of devotees daily[1][2]. The temple features a striking six-story, multi-angular design with a central gold-plated dome that rises prominently above the structure, surrounded by 37 smaller gilded domes[1]. Constructed with marble and pink granite, its interiors include intricately carved wooden doors displaying the eight Ashtavinayak forms of Ganesha[5]. The main sanctum is gold-plated, enhancing its divine grandeur[5]. The idol of Lord Ganesha is carved from a single block of black stone, depicted with four arms (chaturbhuj), accompanied by his consorts Siddhi and Riddhi, and a third eye etched on the forehead, reflecting a unique attribute also associated with Lord Shiva[1][2]. Shree Siddhivinayak Temple stands as a spiritual and architectural landmark in Mumbai, celebrated for its rich history, religious significance, and majestic presence during major festivals like Ganesh Chaturthi[3][4][5].

Ganapati Bappa Morya! Visiting Mumbaicha Raja’s Siddi Vinayak divine temple is nothing short of a spiritual retreat. The constant chant of “Ganapati Bappa Morya” fills the air, instantly soaking you in devotion. The temple is well-organized with separate paid Sevas for those seeking a deeper experience. The highlight for me was the ₹20 laddu prasad (2 pieces) – fresh, soft, and simply delicious, I’d rate it a solid ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5). The temple management has also thoughtfully provided ample chappal stands both outside and after the metal detector gate, making it very convenient. The visit leaves you feeling blessed. .

This October 21st, I chose to begin my birthday not with cake or candles, but with prayers and peace - at the sacred Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai. As the first rays of sunlight kissed the city, I stood before Lord Ganesha, the remover of obstacles, with folded hands and a heart full of gratitude. There’s something profoundly grounding about being in the presence of centuries-old faith. The chants, the fragrance of incense, the rhythmic ringing of bells - everything felt like a divine symphony orchestrated just for the soul. I offered my prayers not just for myself, but for everyone who’s been a part of my journey - family, friends, mentors, and even those silent supporters who’ve cheered me on from afar. This visit wasn’t just a ritual; it was a moment of reflection. I looked back at the year gone by - the highs, the lows, the lessons, and the growth. And I felt nothing but thankfulness. Life has its own way of teaching us, and I’m learning to embrace it all with grace. As I stood in the temple courtyard, watching the crowd move with devotion and hope, I realized how blessed I am to witness another year, another sunrise, another chance to become a better version of myself. The energy of Siddhivinayak is magnetic - it doesn’t just bless you, it uplifts you. I left the temple with a tilak on my forehead, prasad in my hand, and a renewed spirit in my heart. This birthday felt different - not loud, not lavish, but deeply meaningful. And that’s exactly what I needed. To everyone who sent their wishes, thank you for making me feel loved. To Lord Ganesha, thank you for guiding me. And to life - thank you for the journey so far and the road ahead. Here’s to new beginnings, divine blessings, and a heart that stays grateful. 🌺🪔

The Shree Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple in Prabhadevi (commonly referred to as being in the Dadar area) is a deeply moving and highly revered spiritual landmark in Mumbai. Known for its powerful idol of Lord Ganesha, it is a place of immense faith where many devotees, including celebrities, believe their wishes are fulfilled. The moment you enter the premises, you can feel a positive and calming energy amidst the chants and fragrance of incense. Dress Code: Devotees are required to dress modestly, avoiding torn jeans, short skirts, or revealing clothes. Prohibited Items: While mobile phones are generally allowed (must be on silent; no photography), cameras and large electronic items like laptops need to be stored in the locker facility provided at the entrance. Outside Vendors: Be wary of external vendors or touts who might promise special, quicker entry for a fee; official paid darshan counters are available within the temple premises. Overall, the Shree Siddhivinayak Temple is a powerful and essential spiritual experience for devotees and visitors to Mumbai, offering a sense of hope and tranquility amidst the city's hustle and bustle.

Museums
Nehru Science Center, named after Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, is a hub of scientific exploration and learning. With over 500 exhibits covering topics like sound, transport, energy, and mechanics, the center aims to promote enlightened inquisitiveness and a scientific temper. It is the largest science center in India spread across 8 acres with interactive displays for both kids and adults. The museum hosts seminars, events, IMAX films and various science expositions on different themes.
We reached there at 12 pm, the place smells of science and is still fun to visit. no matter the age. The entrance ticket is minimal, parking + dome ticket + science center tickets all make up to a 300-400Rs expense per person. The place is visited by huge crowd, general visitors, students and curious crowds like us. Its green, has very nice educational exhibits that display how science, physics play a very important role in our everyday life. I was myself surprised with some details and explanations. Its well kept. But some exhibits are broken too. At 1.45pm there is a dome movie that can be watch. The dome theatre is a very good concept but hygiene is not maintained during summers. It was damp and stinky, the seats are not well maintained. We found it yucky to be seated there. The science center and the exhibits inside are fabulous. you can spend the day here and still wont be able to finish it all. kids would love this learning experience and try everything out themselves. A must visit place.

Visited Nehru Science Centre with family and had an amazing day filled with learning, fun, and nostalgia! The centre is a fantastic place for both kids and adults — every corner has something exciting to explore. The interactive exhibits make science come alive, from physics experiments and optical illusions to mechanics and space displays. The hands-on activities were a huge hit with the kids; they could actually touch, try, and learn instead of just watching. We enjoyed the 3D science show and the dome theatre film, which were both visually stunning and informative. The science park outside, with large working models, was another highlight — perfect for curious minds and photo lovers alike. The human body section and energy models are very engaging, showing how science connects to our daily lives. Even as adults, we found ourselves completely absorbed in the exhibits. The staff were helpful and explained things patiently. It’s a great place to spend 2–3 hours or even half a day — educational, entertaining, and refreshing. Perfect weekend outing for families with kids! Overall: 🌟🌟🌟🌟⭐ (5/5) A must-visit spot in Mumbai to rediscover the joy of learning through fun and exploration.

An interesting place to learn about science. Best suited for children. It is divided in various themes such as Light, Sound, Atomic power, Human evolution, Human body, Aviation etc. Various tools which you play with. Can easily spend half day three to four hours. Toilet and drinking water is available. Cafeteria is also present but it's too costly.
Na P — Google review
One of the nice places to visit for young children to learn about simple science. They also have demonstrations events like High voltage, Space on Sphere, Oddessy, and much more. All are fun filled, enough to be engaged for at least 4-5 hrs. The museum also has its canteen. The toilets were well maintained and clean. I took a ticket for all the events packs which costs 250rs. We can choose which events we want to attend. While i was there, there was a dinosaur event. In which they presented original dinosaur eggs , skeletons etc. Overall a good day out for any science enthusiast.

Haji Ali Dargah is a renowned Mughal-style island mausoleum in Mumbai, housing the tomb of Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari, a revered Muslim saint. The site offers exquisite grandeur and beauty, attracting tourists to explore its religious significance and architectural splendor. Situated on an island, the dargah provides a captivating view at sunset as sunlight reflects off the ocean and illuminates the coastal roads.
The Causeway: A narrow, unprotected walkway stretches into the sea, connecting the mainland to the Dargah, offering a unique and memorable experience with waves sometimes lapping at your feet. Stalls: Along the causeway, you'll find stalls selling religious items, food, and other goods, with some visitors noting that the number of shops has reduced over time. High Tide: Be aware that the causeway gets submerged during high tide, so check the tide timings to ensure access to the Dargah.
Yunus K — Google review
Haji Ali Dargah is a revered mosque and tomb located on a tiny islet off the coast of Worli in Mumbai, India. It stands as one of the city's most recognizable landmarks, drawing millions of devotees and tourists. Built in 1431, this sacred structure commemorates Sayyed Peer Haji Ali Shah Bukhari, a wealthy Muslim merchant from Bukhara (present-day Uzbekistan) who renounced worldly possessions for a pilgrimage to Mecca. Haji Ali Shah Bukhari was a Sufi saint of the Chishti Order, known for his piety and miracles. Legend has it that once, seeing a poor woman cry over spilled oil, he miraculously restored it by touching the ground – an act that later filled him with remorse, leading to his spiritual journey. Before dying en route to Mecca, he instructed followers to cast his coffin into the Arabian Sea. Miraculously, it floated to Mumbai's shores, lodging on rocky islets near Worli, prompting the Dargah's construction there. The architecture showcases exquisite Indo-Islamic style with white Makrana marble (the same used in the Taj Mahal), domes, and minarets, reflecting Mughal influences. Its striking white structure contrasts beautifully against the Arabian Sea backdrop. The Dargah is situated on an islet, accessible via a causeway during low tide – visitors must plan visits accordingly as the path gets submerged at high tide. It is open from 5:30 AM to 10 PM daily, with the best time to visit between October and March for pleasant weather. Entry to the Dargah is free, though donations are accepted; devotees often contribute offerings like chaddar (cloth covers for the tomb). Modest dress is suggested for visitors as a mark of respect. Approximately 40,000 people visit on Thursdays and Fridays, with devotees from various faiths coming to seek blessings. Haji Ali Dargah is famed for its spiritual aura and architectural beauty – people of all faiths visit this symbol of Sufi harmony. The tomb of Haji Ali is covered with red and green chaddar, adorned with a silver frame, marking the saint's resting place. Intricate mirror work and Quranic inscriptions decorate the interiors, showcasing craftsmanship. Qawwali performances, traditional Sufi devotional music, are held on Fridays, adding to the spiritual ambiance. The Dargah complex includes a sanatorium, reflecting the charitable ethos associated with Sufi institutions. Haji Ali Shah Bukhari's story intertwines history and miracles, cementing his revered status. The 15th-century origins tie it to medieval Sufi movements influencing India deeply. The miraculous floating casket narrative remains central to its legend. The Dargah survived Mumbai's severe 1949 floods unscathed – seen by many as testament to its sanctity. It has appeared in popular culture, like the Bollywood song _Piya Haji Ali_ (film _Fiza_, 2000), highlighting cultural resonance. Urs (death anniversary celebrations) and Eid festivals draw large, enthusiastic crowds. Visitors often remark on the tranquil ambiance contrasting with Mumbai's urban dynamism. Photography is allowed outside the sanctum; mobile phones/cameras capture its majestic vistas. Accessibility via the tidal causeway demands timing awareness – check local tide schedules. Dress modestly; remove footwear before entering sacred areas per customs. Devotees tie threads on latticework (jali) for wishes, a common practice at Sufi shrines. Haji Ali Dargah embodies Mumbai's cultural fusion and spiritual harmony. It's a serene oasis amid urban bustle, attracting pilgrims/devotees globally for blessings and solace. The structure signifies India's rich Sufi heritage alongside landmarks like Ajmer Sharif.

"Haji Ali Dargah in Mumbai is a renowned shrine famous not only in Mumbai but across India. The dargah of Pir Haji Ali Baba is situated in the Arabian Sea and is steeped in an unbelievable story. One of the most fascinating aspects of this shrine is that despite being surrounded by the sea, the pathway to the dargah remains dry even during high tide. Thousands of devotees visit Haji Ali Dargah every day to seek blessings and pray for their wishes to be fulfilled. The shrine is open to people of all religions and backgrounds, and it's believed that Haji Baba fulfills the wishes of his devotees. Many people find solace and peace in visiting the dargah, and it's said that no one leaves Haji Ali Dargah empty-handed. The scenic beauty of the Arabian Sea adds to the spiritual ambiance of the shrine, making it a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a peaceful and divine experience."

⭐ Haji Ali Dargah – A Truly Soulful Experience 🌊✨ ⭐ Visiting Haji Ali Dargah felt incredibly peaceful and magical. The walk through the long pathway surrounded by the ocean on both sides 🌅 gives an unforgettable vibe. Inside the dargah, the calm atmosphere, beautiful architecture 🕌, and spiritual energy make you feel blessed. It gets a bit crowded, but the overall experience is totally worth it. A must-visit spot in Mumbai for serenity, devotion, and stunning views ❤️🙏.

Alhamdulillah, I don't think that this place needs any review of anybody because this place has huge fame from people of all religions. Haji Ali Dargah is very good but under construction, I hope within a year this is completed. I had visited four times and found a real peace over there but you always found huge crowds over there as it's very famous with their real stories that the makbara is situated at the middle surface area of the ocean. Moreover, this place has different positive energy which heals you and gives you a nice experience. I'm always looking forward to visiting this place as much as I can.

Bandra Fort, also known as Castella de Aguada, is a captivating piece of history nestled in the vibrant Bandra area of Mumbai. Built by the Portuguese in 1640, this fort served as a watchtower overlooking Mahim Bay and offers breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea and Worli islands. The rocky pathways lead you through its storied past while providing stunning backdrops for photography enthusiasts.
Finally found my place in Mumbai where I can find peace. Went around 10am on Saturday morning and it was peaceful. Place is really well maintained and good for picnics with great view.

Bandra Fort is a lovely old fort located right by the sea, close to the Sea Link. I came here for the first time and was really impressed. From the base itself, you get a beautiful view of the ocean — but once you go up to the fort, the view becomes even more amazing. The Rajiv Gandhi Sea Link looks stunning from here, especially during sunset. This spot has been featured in many Bollywood movies and web series, and when you stand there, you understand why. The calm breeze, sound of the waves, and wide-open sea — it just feels peaceful. There’s also a small garden-like area developed around the fort, which is clean and adds to the experience. Families, couples, and even photographers come here just to enjoy the vibe. However, I noticed there’s some construction happening in the sea now — another bridge is being built. Once that’s completed, the clear open sea view from here might not be the same again. So if you want to enjoy this place in its full charm — now is the time to visit.

The Rajiv Gandhi Sea Link looks stunning especially during sunset. This spot has been featured in many Bollywood movies and web series. The place is clean, well-maintained, and offers stunning views of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link and the Arabian Sea. It's not as crowded as other tourist spots in Mumbai, which gives it a peaceful vibe. Perfect for a leisurely walk, photography, or just enjoying the view. You can get down through the stones near the water. The view is lovely. Near to this fort SRK’s house is their “MANNAT”. This place is quite costly and besides fort TAJ Hotel is there. . I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet and scenic spot in Mumbai. Some shops sell snacks, Maggie, cool drinks and tea outside the main gate of the fort.

Beautiful sunset point with historical charm! Visited Bandra Fort last weekend and loved the experience. The place is clean, well-maintained, and offers stunning views of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link and the Arabian Sea. Great spot for photos, evening walks, or just sitting quietly Perfect for couples, tourists, and locals alike. Best to visit around 5–6 PM for the sunset.
Bhautik P — Google review
The Bandra Fort had the perfect view of the sea-link bridge. The sunset was also very amazing from here. The gov has developed the place too into a beautiful park. But recently there is some construction of some other bridge in front of the sea link bridge and it has destroyed the total beauty of the view. With large cranes and metal platforms. Dont visit the place if you are a tourist in recent times.

Church
Basilica of Our Lady of the Mount, also known as Mount Mary Basilica, is a 16th-century Catholic church located in Mumbai. The church holds the annual feast of the Blessed Virgin Mary on September 8, marking the start of the weeklong Bandra Fair. This event attracts numerous tourists and pilgrims who visit temporary shops surrounding the church to purchase candles for healing purposes.
It’s a truly divine and peaceful place to visit. You can genuinely feel the presence of divinity there. Yes, it does get quite crowded during the St. Mary’s Feast, but even that feels like a sacred and uplifting experience. You can also visit during quieter times and sit there peacefully for as long as you like. I absolutely loved it and find myself going back often.

Situated atop a small hill at an elevation of 262 ft., Basilica of Our Lady of the Mount, Mumbai, Maharashtra, is a Roman Catholic church in Bandra. The church offers beautiful views of the Arabian Sea and the city’s skyline. Popularly known as Mount Mary Church, the kirk is over a century old. However, the statue of Virgin Mary protected inside dates back to the 16th century. The road that leads to the church is dotted with many shops and stalls that sell candles and flowers, among other offerings of worship. People of all faiths and beliefs visit the church to attain peace and tranquility.

Good place to pray, visit, take cool photos. Located in Bandra area with Bandstand in walkable distance. There is museum located directly opposite side of the road to the church which got inaugurated on 15th August 2025. Most people are unaware of this new museum called “PranamMaria”.
MONITH B — Google review
Mount Mary is one of Mumbai’s most iconic churches, built in a beautiful Gothic architectural style that immediately captures your attention. The interiors are majestic. As someone who deeply appreciates sacred architecture though I personally follow Hindu spiritual practices I found this church unwelcoming and with rude staff as every parish feels like. The environment here should be calm, respectful, and truly reflective of Mumbai’s diverse spirit. The area should be clean, the vendor nuisance is just so annoying. The vendors are biased there is a different price for Christians and a different for non-Christians. While I personally refrain from participating in worship, I truly admire the aesthetic beauty and serenity of this space.
Prathamesh B — Google review
We arrived around 6 PM just as Mass was happening, and the church was beautifully filled with people, a mix of locals and visitors. Even though we didn’t stay for the full service or take part in any activities, it was lovely just to sit for a moment and take in the serenity. The architecture is stunning, especially as the evening light hits the façade. Bandra itself is such an interesting part of Mumbai a blend of old Portuguese roots, coastal charm, and modern city rhythm. The basilica, built during the 16th century by the Portuguese, still carries traces of that heritage in its architecture and stone walls. You can almost feel how it’s stood as an anchor through centuries of storms, festivals, and city life. Don’t miss 10 min walk to the fort!

When you arrive, you’ll need to scan a QR code to book your seat. If you’re lucky, you’ll get a table right away; otherwise, you might have to wait around 25–30 minutes if it’s crowded. I tried Chole and Paneer Kulcha, Veg Mix Sauce Pasta, Red Velvet Milkshake, KitKat Shake, and Blueberry Cheesecake. Out of all these, I absolutely loved the Chole and Paneer Kulcha and Blueberry Cheesecake - you must try these two! They have clean washrooms for both men and women, and a handwashing area with handwash and tissues. The prices are quite reasonable - around ₹250 per dish on average. We paid about ₹1,200 for everything. I’ll definitely visit this place again just for the Chole Kulche and Cheesecake!

Went there on a weekend. The place was bustling as expected. Prithvi theatre is a mumbaikat favorite for their amritsar kulcha and dal makhni. Tried both, both were good but not extra ordinary. Beer bottle chaas was nice. Also ordered brownie which was disappointingly dry. Overall it was a good experience in ambiance, price to taste. Online QR code based queueing is quiet convenient. Prithvi theatre as the name says is also a theatre which hosts plays. The location also has a book shop with variety of genres.

I recently visited **Prithvi Café** and had a really good experience overall. The café has a beautiful, lively ambience with a chilled, artsy vibe — perfect for casual meetups or relaxed meals. I tried quite a few dishes here: 🍽️ **Amritsari Paratha** – Nicely stuffed, flavorful, and served hot with curd and chutney. The taste was authentic and had a pleasant spicy punch without being overpowering. 🍝 **White Pasta** – Creamy, rich, and perfectly cooked. The sauce was smooth and mildly cheesy, though it could use a little more spice for those who like stronger flavors. ☕ **Hot Coffee & Filter Coffee Ice-Cream** – Both were excellent. The hot coffee was strong and aromatic, while the filter coffee ice-cream was a unique treat — a perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness. 🥭 **Mango Lassi** – Thick, fresh, and refreshing, with a real mango flavor. It paired well with the paratha and gave a nice desi touch to the meal. 🌯 **Chicken Roll** – Juicy, well-marinated, and wrapped in soft bread. Nicely spiced and filling; non-veg lovers will definitely enjoy this. The **service** was polite and quick despite the crowd. **Pricing** is slightly on the higher side, but the taste and ambience justify it. The **outdoor seating** under trees gives a cozy, café-theatre vibe that’s hard to find elsewhere in Mumbai. ✅ **Overall:** Quite good experience — tasty food, soothing coffee, and vibrant atmosphere. A must-visit if you’re near Juhu, especially for coffee lovers and café enthusiasts

Four Seasons Hotel — AER (Mumbai) — Detailed review Overview AER at the Four Seasons is a rooftop experience that lives up to the hype. Perched high above Worli, it delivers sweeping Mumbai skyline and sea views, a modern yet warm ambience, and consistently polished service — ideal for both special evenings and relaxed drinks with friends. Ambience & design - Incredible vantage point: panoramic views of Mumbai and the Arabian Sea are the star — especially dramatic when clouds roll in or the city lights up at night. - Roof engineering: the covered rooftop feels state-of-the-art — thoughtfully designed to shelter guests during rain while preserving the sense of openness. Even in a downpour the space felt airy and comfortable, with rain adding to the drama rather than disrupting the experience. - Vibe: stylish, contemporary décor with an upscale lounge energy. Music, lighting and layout encourage both intimate conversations and lively groups without feeling crowded. Drinks - Negroni: expertly executed — perfectly blanched (clean, balanced bitterness and bright aromatics), with excellent temperature and presentation. The cocktail showcased strong technique and attention to classic proportions. - Cocktail program: creative but respectful of classics; bartenders clearly know their craft and tailor drinks to taste. Food - Guacamole prepared tableside: a highlight. Watching it made fresh added theatre, and the result was vibrant, aromatic and packed with flavour — creamy texture, bright citrus and just the right seasoning. Superb balance of richness and acidity. - Overall tasting: dishes leaned modern, high-quality and well-seasoned. Portions are geared for sharing and designed to complement the cocktail-led experience. Service - Attentive and professional without being intrusive. Staff handled the evening smoothly, from timing of drinks and food to accommodating the rain cover without fuss. - Knowledgeable servers and bartenders willing to recommend pairings and adjust drinks to preference. Pros - Unmatched views and rooftop atmosphere. - Weather-proofed design that keeps the rooftop enjoyable even in rain. - High-caliber cocktails and memorable live-prep elements (e.g., guacamole). - Polished, thoughtful service. Cons / notes - Popularity means it can get busy; reservations are recommended for prime seating. - Price point is upscale — expect to pay a premium for the location and experience. Who it’s for - Couples seeking a romantic, skyline-backed evening. - Groups celebrating special occasions. - Cocktail enthusiasts who appreciate skilled bartending and well-executed classics. Bottom line AER at the Four Seasons is a standout rooftop destination in Mumbai. Between the dramatic views, intelligent roof design that allows enjoyment in all weather, expertly made cocktails (that blanched Negroni is a must-try) and the theatrics of fresh guacamole made tableside, the experience feels both luxurious and lively — well worth a visit.

Aer is a gorgeous rooftop restaurant and bar at four seasons with a Panaromic view of the city .. coastal road to racecourse and beyond. It’s for 21 plus only. The service is incredible. Our servers Devang and his colleague were courteous and kind. We love how the seating space is designed.. most tables facing the view. We went here for their Sunday brunch which was fantastic. We began with the anti pasti which had salads, dips, cheese, nuts and breads. We sipped on refreshing cocktails and mocktails which were good. The sushi platter was delicious. The salads and appetizers were good. Loved the tasting portions. For mains we tried the Dan Dan noodles, dal makhani rice and edamame fried rice. All these dishes were fantastic. We loved them. Dessert was hazelnut praline which was decadent. We had a wonderful experience here. Do give it a try.

Nice place. Sits a busy corner and has a cozy ambiance. Was quiet busy during lunch hours. We order 3 dishes : 1. Tomatoes cheese bruschetta - was quiet nice and fresh. 2. Chef special salad (chicken) - dressing and the veggies were nice but it was missing two things - pomegranate (as it was stated in the menu) and the chicken was a chewy (rubbery). I won’t order that again. 3. Burnt garlic noodles (chicken) - not excellent but the taste was quiet decant. Recommendation - take a grave item alongside else it might feel too dry. 4. Americano was nice and dark Pocket friendly and quiet an elaborated menu. One can find a lot of youngsters enjoying food and having a good time. I will visit again but will be a bit careful with the food I choose 😊

This is a new finding in Bandra and is an absolute gem. But it is absolutely cute. Put Gloria apartments in google maps as it shows an error. The place is very tiny and small . No ac so might be hot. Also they don’t have waffles. Menu has burgers and pizza and shakes. Pretty okay. I found this place quite okay. Ambience is cute. They serve sheesha. It gets a bit bugging for me with a tiny place having sheesha and all. They have board games too Overall staff is fine.

The ambience is very nice and instagram worthy.  When you enter the place, you see around small galleries on the wall, pink flowers which complement the wall they are placed against and an artificial grass underneath your feet all of these when combined with mild music played in the background give a feel like that of a French cafe. The manager Mr.Narendra was very kind to provide us with a complimentary dessert. The staff might be on a lower side due to the pandemic, which is the case for most of the restos and cafes, but they make up for it with their courteous and prompt service. Definitely a very nice place to chill with your family and friends. The food is very nice. Quantity is apt for 2 people when you order a dish. Following  were the dishes ordered with their respective prices being mentioned along with the ratings based on taste and quantity. 1. Drinks : a. Orange cooler = ₹ 180 [4.5 out of 5] b. Cranberry Mojito = ₹ 160 [3.5 out of 5] 2. Starters : a. Veg Wanton = ₹ 250 [5 out of 5] b. Kung pao potato = ₹ 230 [5 out of 5] 3. Mains : Paneer Tikka Pizza = ₹ 440 [5 out of 5]

Underrated place!! The ambience is basic consisting of 6 tables . Each table can accommodate 4ppl max. The menu is what grabbed my attention half the items were discarded and the menu had shrunk to a very few options which is a shame coz whatever I ordered i loved it !!! Started off with some chicken wings in honey chipotle n ranch : loved the wings as they were fresh n tasty . They r famous for their burgers as they claim to slow cook the meat to infuse the flavours n marination . I tried the best seller slow pulled beef burger and this burger screamed happiness to me!! Lovely bun to meat ratio , the meat was melt in the mouth, the marinade was yummm. And the crunchiness of the aragula with a hint of saltiness from the cheese . And yeah that soft bun made this a wholesome experience. Chugged all of this with a pink lemonade ( cranberry infused refreshing drink) . The service was decent . Felt this place isn’t getting enough traction but i hope it does 😁

Here is a cute tiny little place to hangout with your friends/date! No extravagant decor just comfy vibes all through! The food was tasty too, tried the following: 1. Dynamite Paneer Chilli 2. Pink Sauce Pasta 3. Orange Cooler 4. Chocolate Pannacotta Recommend this place, but the location is difficult to find. The Google maps do not show the correct address. Call up at the place and they will guide you through from Mehboob Studio.

FOMO was one of the restaurants on my bucket list that I added in 2020, and I am glad to visit then in 2022. The service and staff are excellent, the ambience is bubbly and cute, similar to some insta cafe types, and the food is excellent. Watermelon Cooler and Perfect Cold Coffee with Basil Pesto Pizza and Creamy Cheese Garlic Mushroom Spaghetti Quantity for two is excellent

A cozy quaint café at a quiet Bandra corner. FOMO is everything you'd ever want in a café, stunning interiors, excellent decor and ambience, AMAZING food and a saying calm vibe overall. This is one must visit café for the sheer amazing experience. The BBQ Chicken Burger is one top notch dish. The fries are made to perfection along with their coleslaw salad.. You'd be left licking your fingers.

Ashok Vada Pav, also known as Ashok Vada Pav Stall, is a legendary food stall located in Kirti College that has been serving the best vada pav in Mumbai for over 30 years. This iconic spot has attracted numerous Bollywood celebrities and locals alike, including Sushmita Sen, Madhuri Dixit, and Sonu Nigam. The quality and taste of their vada pav have remained consistent over the years, making it a favorite among regular customers.
Good place for vada pav, Small space with great taste. Must visit, may have line but you get it with in 10-15 mins only. Near to kirti college, ashok vada pav. Taste is also good . Near and clean serving. Price is also reasonable. Must try chura vada pav. Parking issue is there , as it is available on the road side near to college.
Jaspreet S — Google review
I heard a lot about Ashok Vada Pav on various platforms, with its buzz being incredibly high, so I decided to visit. I took a flight from Jodhpur to Mumbai and stayed at Hotel near the airport. I booked an Ola cab and traveled for about an hour to reach the place. Upon arrival, I struggled to find the shop as there was no large sign or easily noticeable storefront. I noticed a long queue and initially thought it was for Kirti College. Unable to locate Ashok Vada Pav, I asked someone in the queue about its whereabouts. The person informed me that the queue was indeed for the iconic Ashok Vada Pav. Surprised, I joined the line. After waiting 30–40 minutes, we finally got our long-awaited vada pav. However, the first bite shattered our expectations. It was one of the worst-tasting vada pavs I’ve ever had. The pav was tough and rubbery, the vada was bland, and it was overwhelmed with sweet chutney. It was a terrible experience. The place seems to be all about marketing hype, with no connection to the authentic taste of Mumbai’s iconic vada pav. My advice? Don’t fall for their marketing trap—try a local, lesser-known spot for the real taste of vada pav.
Ar. J — Google review
Just an average Vadapav. We travelled specially to Dadar and waited in a scorching heat for an hour just to try this famous Vadapav. U with my other 3 friends were highly disappointed after eating it. It seems the marketing strategy works here may be. The guy fries one batch of vada and stop it. He doesn’t start frying the next batch until the last vada is used. This is how people keep waiting in a queue and it looks as a famous eateries. I couldn’t even eat 2 Vadapav. There’s no place to seat.
Travelfreak F — Google review
Not worth for all the hype. Long lines which are not managed well as people jump queue while others are made to wait over one hour. Vada is average size but I must admit it does have a unique taste. They keep the pav ready by applying chutney which make a it soggy.
Deepak B — Google review
One of the best Vadapav in Mumbai! The unique thing in this Vadapav is that it has some chura stuffed along with Pav. I had to wait 25 minutes in the line but it was worth the wait.
Prasad V — Google review
It’s a small take way shop n always crowed with foodies. A good vadapav with full of unique flavour. Must try street food. Enjoy the vadapav sitting on sea side(walkable from the location).
Dileep A — Google review
Quite popular for Vada Pav in Mumbai! It’s differently served with Vada crumbs inside the Vada Pav. Honestly, the taste is quite average, not worth the hype. But if you’re around do try it out once!
Deep K — Google review
Vadapav was a delightful experience, offering a unique twist with its diverse chutneys in the pav and churas scattered throughout. The churas provided a satisfying crunch, while the chutneys infused the dish with a burst of flavors. Overall, it was a great choice.

For day 4, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Infiniti Mall Malad. Not quite as popular as Marine Dr, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 7 hours.

Nestled in Goregaon, Mumbai, Oberoi Mall is a sophisticated shopping destination spread across four floors. It boasts an array of upscale brands and dining options, offering a lavish experience for visitors. This prominent mall has been instrumental in introducing renowned international brands to India's retail scene. With its popularity among students and proximity to esteemed educational institutions, the mall also hosts various events and sports telecasts.
I visited Oberoi Mall on a Saturday night. Since I reached around 11 PM and the mall closes at 12, I didn’t get much time to explore. The mall is not very big, but it’s well-maintained and has a good selection of outlets. Popular places like Starbucks and Theobroma are there, along with many good restaurants. There’s also a PVR cinema and a spacious food court on the top floor. Overall, a nice place to hang out.
Gaurav P — Google review
Oberoi Mall may be on the smaller side, but it is very well-maintained, clean, and has great lighting, which adds to the overall ambiance. The food selection is good, offering a variety of options, and the presence of a PVR makes it a great spot for entertainment. Despite its size, the mall provides a pleasant shopping and leisure experience. Overall, I had a good time here!
JANAK B — Google review
Oberoi Mall may be on the smaller side, but it is very well-maintained, clean, and has great lighting, which adds to the overall ambiance. One of the best malls in western suburbs. You have pretty much all the shopping and eateries under one roof along with PVR. One thing that stand out about this place is hygiene maintained in washrooms. The Mall is very well kept in terms of cleanliness and organised by the management for parking spaces for 4 & 2 wheelers. All the levels and all shops and boutiques also are very nicely displayed with their products. It is an excellent place to enjoy shopping, food, and entertainment all under one roof. The mall has a very modern and well-maintained interior, offering a premium shopping experience. You’ll find a wide range of top brands here, including Zara, H&M, Marks & Spencer, and Lifestyle. Besides shopping, the PVR Cinemas inside the mall provides a great movie-watching experience with top-notch sound and comfortable seating. Location is nearby metro station as well.

⭐⭐⭐☆☆ (3 stars) Mixed Experience – Needs Better Food Handling and Staff Training Visited the Oberoi Mall food court recently and had a mixed experience. The place offers a wide variety of food options—from popular chains like Sbarro, KFC, McDonald's, to regional and dessert counters. The food court is spacious, well-lit, and air-conditioned, with ample seating space even during weekends. However, the quality of service differs greatly from outlet to outlet. Some stalls are quick and courteous, while others show serious lapses in order accuracy and staff behavior. At Sbarro Pizza, we ordered a veg combo, but were wrongly served a non-veg pizza. As vegetarians, this was unacceptable and shocking. When we pointed out the issue, the staff behaved rudely instead of showing basic courtesy or responsibility. Such incidents are a serious concern, especially in a multicultural country like India where food preferences are deeply rooted. There is no clear supervisor or central complaint system for the food court. Each outlet manages its own issues, which can be frustrating for customers. Overall: ✔️ Ambience: 4.5/5 ✔️ Cleanliness: 4/5 ✔️ Food variety: 5/5 ❌ Service consistency: 2/5 ❌ Staff attitude (some stalls): 1/5 ❌ Food safety concerns (wrong orders): Serious issue Recommendation: Oberoi Mall food court has potential but needs better staff training, stronger food safety checks, and a common feedback mechanism for quicker resolution.

Infiniti Mall is a bustling shopping destination that spans over 1.1 million square feet, housing more than 200 stores and 40 dining options. With its diverse offerings, from global brands to an indoor amusement park, the mall provides a vibrant experience for visitors. The Andheri location boasts 65 retailers, a modern six-screen cinema, a family entertainment center, and an array of restaurants in addition to its shopping outlets.
This is a good mall, although the brands here can be a little on the higher end. The food court has a great variety of options, and there is ample seating unlike some other malls in the suburbs. Good place for occasionally hanging out.

Big mall with a lot of brands and collection, expansive shopping selection and a food court with mini amusement park including a good roller coaster. However, it gets congested a bit if there is a lot of crowd since the ceilings are not high and gets claustrophobic. Parking is okay not well managed with entry points and exit points are narrowing to two lanes and cars queue up. Could be managed better overall.

Infinite Malad is a fantastic place where you can find all major brands under one roof—whether it’s clothing, watches, shoes, or jewelry. From kids to seniors, everyone’s covered! For food, all the big chains are available, PVR is there for your entertainment, and there’s a huge space for fun activities. With a metro station nearby, reaching here is super convenient, and the prices are reasonable—you can totally afford it! Overall, it’s a great destination to spend some quality time.

Infiniti mall is located in Malad and one of the two Infiniti malls. The other one is located in Andheri. The mall is big with presence of various outlets. It includes an indoor rollercoaster and various other gaming stations. It has a big food court and many types of dishes could be found. It is located at a prime location and during peak hours it's footfall could become quite high. Ome can enjoy it's time in this mall.

One of the biggest malls I’ve visited in Mumbai, second only to Alpha Mall in Ahmedabad. It even has an indoor roller coaster and plenty of arcade games, making it a fun spot for all ages. With numerous brands, eateries, and entertainment options, it’s truly a one-stop destination for shopping and leisure. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience with my kiddos and delicious lunch with family.

Chinese restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of Malad, Uncle's Kitchen has been a beloved Chinese eatery since 1987. This iconic restaurant boasts a casual and inviting atmosphere, perfect for enjoying familiar favorites with friends or family. With its simple decor and bright lighting, it feels like home away from home. While it may not offer fine dining, its popularity speaks volumes; locals have cherished this spot for decades as the go-to place for Indianized Chinese cuisine.
All I can say is that Uncle's Kitchen is legendary! The food is just amazing and hits the taste buds just right. Visiting India after a while and first thing on the agenda was to come here again and the food quality and flavor is still the same. My best wishes to Uncle's Kitchen and wish you continued success:)

A Long-Time Favorite That Never Disappoints This place has been a go-to for many over the years, and for good reason. Their Chicken and Mushroom Pot Rice is a standout – hearty, delicious, and full of flavor. The menu offers a great selection of starters, making it easy to find something for every taste. They've recently expanded by opening a new restaurant in Dubai, so fans can now enjoy their favorites in a new location as well. A must-try spot! Would you like to add any personal touch or specific dishes from the starters section?

I recently visited Uncle's Kitchen in Malad and had a good experience overall. We were seated near the AC, which was comfortable, and the ambiance was quite pleasant. Although the place was a bit loud due to the crowd, it added to the lively vibe. I ordered the Prawns Chilli and Hot Chilli Fried Rice both dishes were flavorful, but I especially enjoyed the fried rice. It had just the right balance of spice and taste.Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to explore more items on the menu, but I’m definitely looking forward to trying more dishes on my next visit!

Have always loved the food here. It's authentic Indian Chinese and the taste hasn't changed one bit. This time was a bit different though. Everything except the Dry Manchurian was good. Veg Crispy was also okayish but the manchow soup, fried rice and gravy Manchurian was simply out of the world Service is mostly self service there so not sure why they've kept so many waiters. The least they can do is serve in plates which sometimes happens if you sit in the AC section Overall a good experience as always and would definitely go back here for Chinese every single time I get an opportunity
Bruhad B — Google review
Long time local favorite in Orlem, Malad. The food did not disappoint. You can tell that there are many regulars that come here often. Everything was really good even though there is no dessert or alcohol served which would have been the cherry on top!
Anora W — Google review
We wanted to eat Chinese, so we searched nearby and Maps showed this place. We went there and there was a bit of a wait, but it was worth it. Then we sat downstairs in the non-AC section, and for starters, we had lollipop chicken, and it was amazing. After that, we had Singapore and Schezwan fried rice. Their Schezwan is different and tasty. Definitely visit and try it. For Chinese lovers.
Nitesh P — Google review
Uncle's Kitchen is great, established since 1987, their Indo-Chinese food is amazing, I ordered Chicken Manchow Soup and Chicken Fried Rice, it was delicious, quantity and quality were excellent, staff was helpful, overall experience was fantastic, food was tasty, and I highly recommend this place.
Ganesh B — Google review
Total waste of money. We ordered for almost ₹2,000.. Singapore fried rice, Chicken Chilly fried rice, Chicken Schezwan fried rice, Veg Manchurian, and Chicken Lollipops and every single dish was a disaster. The food was barely edible as some items were uncooked, some had a foul smell, and others tasted stale like they were prepared long ago. The Chicken Schezwan fried rice was the worst, one of us literally puked after eating it, and the rest of us didn’t even dare to touch it after that. Plus the Veg Manchurian was absolutely sour and bitter, like spoiled stuffing, not so fresh. If I could rate this below 1 star, I absolutely would. We were excited for a good lunch, but it was completely ruined. Pure waste of money and such a huge disappointment. Uncle’s Kitchen has gone drastically downhill will never recommend it to anyone, nor will I ever order from here again.
