Modern Indian restaurant

Seafood restaurant
The Bombay Canteen is a trendy cafe and bar located in Mumbai, offering a unique blend of innovative Indian snacks and colonial-inspired cocktails. The restaurant's ambiance exudes a hipster take on a 1960s Indian canteen, with long tables set on mustard-colored, patterned tiled flooring. It attracts a mix of fashion-forward locals and well-informed tourists indulging in regional Indian staples with a Mumbai twist.
Best Restaurant Near Me in Mumbai: My banking partner who had already tried and recommended The Bombay canteen special non-veg dishes suggested this place. Luckily, we managed to get a table during lunch hours. The ambience was lively, and the staff was polite and helpful. Since I’m a pure vegetarian, we chose to stick to vegetarian options. On recommendation, we started with aloo chaat and corn. For the main course, we ordered malai kofta with paratha, followed by a delicious serving of kheer. The restaurant also has wheelchair ♿-accessible parking 🅿️ and entrance. recommended place for non vegetarians food lovers.
Sushant S — Google review
Bomany Canteen is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a lineup of OG dishes, and we got to indulge in plenty of their Chota starters—each one packed with flavor. The cocktails were on point, and the vibe made it a great spot to visit with friends and family. Definitely worth a visit!
Jaspreet A — Google review
All the mocktails are forgettable. The food price is astronomical and portion size is miniscule. All the food recommendations were good but the dum aloo main course was awful. I don't understand why is this place so highly rated. We were 9 people and ended up trying up everything on the menu because the portion size was so tiny. Seeing the portion sizes, we considered going to Pop Tates next door.
Rohit R — Google review
Pros: Attentive and friendly service Cons: Food is just average, failing to live up to the hype and price tag. Portion sizes are on the smaller side, making the overall value proposition weak. Recommendation: Considering the high cost in relation to the quality and quantity of food, you might be better off exploring other restaurants in Kamala Mills that offer more bang for your buck. There are many great places in the area that serve delicious Indian cuisine with more generous portions at a more reasonable price.
Akxhay K — Google review
Omg one of the best meals I’ve EVER HAD! The service and atmosphere are a huge plus too. The flavours were on point with every dish. I was blown away at how delicious this was - thank you so much for this experience!

The Best of the best of Bombay! Love everything here.
Sonal V — Google review
I am a believer in food fusion. Bombay Canteen brings forward some of the best combinations, which are scintillating for taste buds. Even classical dishes like seekh kebab were very well done. Their strength is in sauces & curry gravies, which are mild, not overwhelming. The ambience of the place is detailed, a bit old school, and comforting overall. Servers were knowledgeable about all fusions and were warm. My only grudge is that lack of fulfilling plates in starters. I hate when I have to order 4 items to feel filled. Would recommend this place for exploring.
Gaurav — Google review
Great selection of dishes specifically curated by the chef's by traveling across the country. The small plates that we tried were bursting with flavours. And the drinks were perfect. The only thing lacking was the service which can be improved. The staff was very busy so you had to wait for quiet sometime to actually place an order or request for change of plates.

North Indian restaurant
Kakori House is a hidden gem that promises an authentic taste of North Indian cuisine, particularly for those craving the rich flavors of Lucknow. This unpretentious eatery specializes in melt-in-your-mouth kebabs and perfectly spiced chutneys, making it a must-visit for food enthusiasts. The highlight here is undoubtedly the renowned Galouti kebabs and flavorful biryani, which transport diners straight to the heart of Awadhi culinary tradition.

Strange are the ways of Kakori House how they treat their customers..the branches of Kakori House are closed in Grant Road and Bandra Waroda Road....they have not figured their popularity thus chose to ignore the customers....they did not inform even in the web world....in Zomato they are still open and active... Mughlai restaurant
Nestled just a stone's throw from Jogeshwari station, Persia Darbar is the ultimate destination for those craving delectable non-vegetarian cuisine. This casual eatery and takeaway spot offers an enticing fusion of Mughlai, Punjabi, and Chinese dishes in a warm and inviting atmosphere. With three distinct dining areas—private dastarkhaan, Royal Jashn Dining Hall, and a cozy normal dining area—guests can choose their preferred vibe while enjoying exceptional service from the attentive staff.
This place has amazing food! 😋 If you're more than 6-8 people, go for the Thaal option. We ordered 2 Thaals: Chicken Afghani & Mutton Pathani. Chicken Thaal had 3 starters, 2 rotis, & 1 chicken gravy. Mutton Thaal had 2 starters, Mutton Biryani, & Mutton gravy. The food was delicious, fresh and the meat was tender! The staff was courteous & professional! 💯 Pleasant experience overall. Do visit this branch! Thank you! 🙏 I recommend this place! 👍

So i recently tried der ramadaan special menu... Where i ordered chicken malai seekh, chicken royal kebab, chicken aflatoon, chicken potli and more... All the items were reasonably priced at pocket friendly rates. It tasted fresh and had the perfect crunch. Will be trying rabri malpuas soonnn...

Persia Darbar offers an exceptional dining experience with its Mughlai and Asian (Indo-Chinese) cuisine. The lavish ambience over here is stunning and elegant, adding to the overall dining experience. Where every corners looks amazing. They have galeecha seating as well where y’all can dine with larger groups in dastarkhwan. Here Thai curry is unmatched, better than any other Asian place I've tried. For a healthy option, the chicken stir fry is a must-try as it is loaded with boiled chicken and exotic veggies. The kebabs and tandoori are undoubtedly the best in Mumbai. Our favourite ones here are Kaimiri and zaffrani tandoori, Nawabi tikka and Lebnani tikka. For sweet we had kunafa was was simply amazing. We also tried their mocktails which clearly exceeded our expectations. The staff is outstanding, providing great hospitality. Special mention to Manager Zakir, and waiter somin and Rizwan for their helpfulness and excellent service.
Pratham A — Google review
Yesterday went for dine-in for 5pax in the restaurant, order taker Mr tie-shirt came to table as soon as we told him Zomato booking his face flushed off as if ek din ka salary gaya☹️ he didn't have patience to interact with us to take order so left. Waiter took the order, food quality was awesome 😋 but we had (almost) 1portion butter chicken left so asked for parcel,, look at the picture Doesn't seem like they put the entire leftover?? Restaurant team took revenge for our zomato booking by packing just little 😁 Shame on them for this behaviour "haram" all this pathetic service when only 4tables were occupied including us.

Fast food restaurant
Cafe Irani Chaii is a newly revamped cafe that offers an authentic Iranian dining experience. With a focus on traditional Iranian cuisine and service, it has quickly gained popularity among locals. The menu features daily specials such as Mutton Gheimeh, Kuku Sabzi, Zereshik Pulaw, Persian Macarooni, Irani Mutton Haleem, Khoresht-e-Murg, and Mutton White Biryani.
Finally made it there to celebrate our wedding anniversary! It surely didn't disappoint! We had bun maska n chai which was excellent Mutton kheema Gotala was absolutely delicious Chicken cutlet may be skipped ,was nothing great and was pretty oily n taste was not worth the effort n cost Bread pudding was good, transported me back to my childhood days the way my mother would make it. Enjoyed the raspberry soda Oh yes! They are very stingy on giving tissues,u need to keep asking them.very close to the aqualine metro A must visit place if you are a fan of Irani food Serms to be a joint with a lot of history! Totally worth it n a great experience!

You have to try the keema, pav, and those delicious cutlets — total flavor bombs. A hidden gem for true food lovers! Don't let the size fool you — this place may be small, but the food is absolutely phenomenal!

Great food. One of the best Irani chai that I had in Mumbai. Definitely recommended with bun masks.
Tituraj D — Google review
One of the best Irani cafe have visited..small place but ambience is best and food quality, variety is too good... There are so many items not available in early morning time but here is available. Must visit place for cafe irani lover.
Rohit G — Google review
Café Irani Chaii – A Cozy Little Spot with Authentic Flavors but Pricey! Recently visited Café Irani Chaii, which is just a 2-minute walk from the Aqua Line metro (Sitla Devi stop). Once you exit the station, walk past the petrol pump and head slightly backward — you’ll spot this quaint little café in no time. The café is quite small, not as big as it appears in pictures online. There are about hardly 7 two-seater tables, so if you’re planning to visit in a large group, be prepared for a long wait, especially during peak hours. We reached around 8:30 PM on a Saturday, and it was fully packed, but luckily we got a table since we were just two people. Coming to the food — the taste was impressive but a bit on the expensive side. Irani Chai: ₹40 per cup Bun Maska: starts from ₹70 (and goes higher depending on the variety) We tried the Mutton Keema Pav (served with 4 pav), Irani Chicken Cheese Roll, and a Raspberry Cold Drink — all of which were absolutely delicious! One tip — always check your bill. They had mistakenly added two teas (₹80) that we hadn’t ordered, but upon pointing it out, they promptly corrected the bill. In total, we spent around ₹600 for two dishes and one drink. While the taste and ambiance give a true Irani café vibe, the pricing feels a bit steep for the portion size.
Shabri S — Google review
Amazing place for trying Irani cuisine. Kind staff. Peaceful location and atmosphere. Place is small. Good prices. They have a 10% discount for foreigners together with special discounts on certain days. Recommend.
Miguel S — Google review
Took around 25 to 30 mins to get the order plus 10 to 15 minutes for table. Omelette had loads of cheese and bhurji was nice but the place should have some space as its super tight. Better if in the future they consider to shift to a bigger place. Russian kebab is a cutlet so please if you are not a fan of cutlet then please skip.
Tanmay T — Google review
The place is usually packed. It has a lot of flavours in there. Chicken dhakaal rice was amazing to try. Will definitely recommend it!

If you're a biryani enthusiast, Jaffer Bhai's Delhi Darbar is an absolute gem nestled in Mumbai. This iconic eatery has been serving up delectable Mughlai cuisine since 1973, boasting a rich legacy of over 46 years. Known for its mouth-watering biryanis—ranging from Chicken and Mutton to Prawns—this restaurant is a haven for meat lovers.
ordered Mutton Biryani . There was no flavour. the biryani had no real masala or spice. The green chutney served with it was watery, not thick or flavorful. The raita was fine, which didnt complement the biryani at all. , the food quality equalize to our expectations.. my frd order another food .it's tasty .
Saranya J — Google review
Jaffer Bhai! Delhi Darbar offers a mixed experience, but the food is definitely the star of the show. We tried the Raan and Butter Chicken, and they were super yummy! The dishes are bursting with flavor and truly live up to the Delhi Darbar name. Each bite is a delightful exploration of spices and textures, leaving you craving more. However, the dining experience is somewhat marred by other factors. Parking is a significant hurdle. Finding a spot can be incredibly challenging, adding unnecessary stress to your visit. Be prepared to spend some time circling the block or consider alternative transportation. The service, unfortunately, doesn't quite match the quality of the food. While the staff is polite, their energy and enthusiasm seem to be lacking. A more attentive and vibrant service would greatly enhance the overall atmosphere. In conclusion, Jaffer Bhai! Delhi Darbar is a place where the food shines, especially the Raan and Butter Chicken. However, the overall experience is somewhat diminished by parking difficulties and less-than-stellar service. If you're willing to overlook these drawbacks for the sake of the delicious food, it's worth a visit.

Jaffer Bhai's Delhi Darbar is a very famous Mughlai Restaurant in Mumbai, what i had heard is that they server one of the tastiest biryani in mumbai., I visited their Mahim branch which is the most famous among all. The atmosphere and Ambiance is decent and normal too but it's only ambiance which makes it decent otherwise the food was not at all tasty or good . We ordered the chicken and veg biryani both and believe me guys after eating i didnt expected it to be that bad, the biryani and masala had no aroma and also there was no taste. (Biryani is tasteless) I have never tasted biryani with such normal taste only rice and little masala was der(dissatisfied)
Madhuri G — Google review
Ordered chicken tawa Sandwich, got chilli tawa Sandwich. There were more chillies than the chicken in the sandwich. When I called th and informed them of the same, they replied "Next time order karenge toh bata dena". Some time later I Whatsapp them the photo of the chillies I removed from 1 tawa Sandwich,to which they reply they will send me the same dish as a replacement. Which I refused since I collected the order while I was passing from Mahim and I'm sure they would refuse delivery to Powai any which way.
Roncy P — Google review
I ordered Mutton Biryani, which was oily and lacked flavor. There was no aroma, and the biryani had no real masala or spice. The green chutney served with it was watery, not thick or flavorful. The raita was overly sweet, which didn’t complement the biryani at all. Overall, the food quality did not match the expectations Additionally, I was surprised by the pricing: I bought a Bailey water bottle which normally costs ₹20, but they charged ₹55. That’s more than double the MRP and feels unreasonable and unfair. Even with service charges, ₹25–30 would have been understandable, but ₹55 is excessive.
SARTH R — Google review
I had an amazing dining experience! The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and showed great attention to detail. The quality of ingredients was top-notch, and the balance of spices and seasoning was spot on. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Whether you’re craving something classic or adventurous, this place delivers consistently excellent food that’s sure to satisfy
RAKHI A — Google review
The biryani was absolutely superb! The rice was perfectly cooked, fragrant, and each grain was bursting with flavor from the well-balanced spices. The chicken/mutton was incredibly tender and succulent, and the way it was blended with the spices was truly exceptional. This biryani wasn't just a meal; it was an experience. I would definitely order it again!

Fine dining restaurant
Masala Library by Jiggs Kalra offers an upscale and imaginative dining experience with its modern ambiance and eclectic menu. The restaurant, located in the bustling Bandra Kurla Complex, is a top choice for fine dining in Mumbai. Known for its pretentious yet marvelous dining experience, the tasting menu is highly recommended as it showcases a variety of small but satisfying portions.
Have been hearing about this place since maybe 2-3 years. Finally went there yesterday on my anniversary. Tried the tasting menu. It was a 9 course meal. Check the photo the menu and items. Every dish was unique and amazing to taste. Though expensive it’s worth a visit for a special occasion. Good food , nice service , great vibes.
Salim K — Google review
Masala Library is located in BKC and it is easy to find. The restaurant comes from Massive Restaurants by Jiggs Kalra hence you should he prepared that the dining experience here will not be a traditional one. They have prepared a multi course tasting meal which has appetisers, mains and desserts and don’t think about the quantity as it looks less but at the end of the meal your stomach will be full and you will be definitely satisfied. The restaurant is spacious with fine dine decor and seats are arranged systematically. Loved the minimal approach and the dim lights adds nice touch to the overall ambiance. Went here for a weekday dinner and the kitchen service was on time and table service by staff Sanket & Nilesh was excellent as they knew the menu well and they were attentive and proactive. This time I won’t be explaining each and every dish as the list of items we tried was big and I have mentioned the entire menu below. In brief I can say that it was indeed a memorable dining experience as the dishes made here are unique taste wise and the use of ingredient wise. They have created something that they can only make and you will not get such dishes anywhere. It is pricey but you can go here to celebrate something special as it will make you happy. What We Had - Heritage Menu~ VEGETARIAN- APPETISERS~ 1. Hibiscus Pani Puri, Watermelon Pastrami 2. Dahi Chaat Panna Cotta, Raspberry Chutney 3. Masala Papad, Chutney Foam 4. Paneer Burrata Lababdar Mains Are Served Along With Dal Makhani & Assorted Indian Breads DESSERTS~ 11. Jalebi Caviar 12. Sourdough Shahi Tukra NON VEGETARIAN- APPETISERS~ 1. I went a few years ago, so the menu will have changed. Masala library really set the scene for new modern cooking in Mumbai and they explored techniques that hadn't been seen in the city. The food in my opinion was good but not incredible, it felt heavy and sat in the stomach but that could have been what we ordered. I would like to go back to try it again

I have tried tasting menu before which was awesome and thought to give ala carte a try this time. We ordered breads and Dal Makhni and the taste way just okay. Nothing about the food was extra ordinary. Breads were not even properly cooked and heated. I thought really high of this place but i won't recommend going again. People may visit for a set menu but that too is served like ala carte and not beautifully presented.

We tried both veg and non-veg tasting menus. While both were very good the Veg menu was better than non-veg. Service was very good. They even helped us with location issue with our uber driver. Highly recommend trying this restaurant.

Excellent dining experience! We had the chef’s tasting menu, both veg and non veg as a group. Chef Rahul’s storytelling is mesmerising! As is the attention to detail and plating of dishes. Each of the courses is thoughtful and novel. Highlights were the snacks and starters. Caring service helped me with gluten free options.

Located in one of the busiest areas of Bandra, Good Luck Irani Chai Cafe offers a wide variety of Iranian breakfast items that are sure to satisfy any taste. The cafe also specializes in delicious coffee, and is known for its magical potion of Kheema Ghotala with buttery pav (bread). The orders are served quickly and with a tempting aroma of spicy chilli-doused minced meat, so you can start your day off well-rested and fuelled up.
Good restaurant in Bandra and tried their egg kheema pav and chicken kheema , it was nice Especially their bun Maska and chai was too good. Only cash payment is acceptable here , they don’t take card payment nor online upi payment . If you coming in group , see that u have sufficient cash to pay . Parking is available for bikes outside and for cars it’s just limited.

I visited this place with a friend when it was completely empty. We ordered chai and Bun Maska, but after finishing, the staff asked us to leave, stating they didn’t want us to sit there any longer. The service was extremely rude and unwelcoming. Definitely not a place I’d recommend.
Wilson S — Google review
The service here is downright rude and unprofessional. While I personally was treated fine, their behavior with other customers was unacceptable. They have a policy stating that if you’re only having tea and bun maska, you’re not allowed to sit at the tables. One customer who wasn’t aware of this was rudely removed, and witnessing such arrogant and disrespectful conduct really made me question whether I should spend money and support them. As for the food: The garlic bread was soft and good. The keema pav and bhurji were very okayish—nothing special. The tea and bun maska were good, but that’s about it. Overall, with such a poor experience, I’m giving this place 1 star.

A friend's scouring of places and suggestions bought us to the Good Luck Restaurant, in Bandra. It is situated right next to Mehboob Studio, at a busy junction in Bandra. The place is more known for it's breakfast dishes, and is usually crowded. The ambience is vintage, takes you back to the old Bombay nostalgia, and the menu is typically Parsi. They have a small convenience store as well. The food is a mix of typical Bombay Parsi and middle eastern. We were pretty hungry, and started off with a bunch of pavs and kheema fry beef. Served piping hot, the crunchy pavs go wonderfully well with the spicy beef kheema. Next we ordered, the kheema ghotala beef, which had more of an egg consistency. I personally liked the kheema fry more than the kheema ghotala. Next up was the lovely chicken shawarma, with generous amounts of chicken and mayo. The flagship dish of this place is the bun maska accompanied by Irani chai which soon followed suit. A few mutton samosas later, we ordered the final dish of the day - more crunchy pavs with Chicken Handi, upon the recommendation of the waiter. It was a tad bit disappointing compared to the earlier dishes. Overall, the food gets a healthy rating of 4/5, the vintage ambience another 4/5. Service was pretty fast as we were one of only 3 tables at 8PM on a Friday evening. A great visit if you're in the area, and are looking for a filling meal at a reasonable price.

Good luck was an all time favorite irani chai place. But over the years its lost its charm with the only change the food and chai now served in disposable wear . Service getting poor, so is the charm of chai and bun maska served here.

Good Luck Restaurant, Bandra. The food quality has deteriorated since my last visit. Also 'Cash Only' in these times is a sign of regression. I told the Owner at the counter that they should atleast try digital payments to which the gentleman gave only a smile. Very strange. Very disappointed we all returned.

Quintessential Irani cafe..must have non-veg, chai and bun-maska caramel pudding apart from the other sumptuous things in the menu. you must come and visit this place, if you like non-veg, you will get number of varieties.. mixed crowd of customers..Though on peak hours you will have to share the table or even wait for few minutes.. But being a busy place then too the staff maintains the hygiene and cleanliness.Though menu is not too lengthy but still whatever items they provide are worth having. Food is comparatively very good, staff is very kind and they provide the most kind of service which matters most. The staff is very friendly and cooperative and remember the guest preferences. And it's not that costly also..My normal choice is kheema pav, double omelette and bun maska with tea . A must visit cafe for budget friendly outing if you are in Bandra, Located opposite Mehboob Studio this iconic place has a charm of its own.

Mughlai restaurant
Noor Mohammadi Hotel & Restaurant, located on South Mumbai's iconic Mohammad Ali Road, is a renowned establishment known for its delectable kebab platter and the famous Chicken Sanju Baba, popularized by Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt. The restaurant also offers a variety of dishes such as Paya, Bheja Fry, and Chicken Hakimi.
Noor Mohammadi Restaurant offers fantastic food with top notch quality. The taste is truly delightful and the portion size and preparation reflect their high standards. It's one of those places that leaves a lasting impression on your taste buds highly recommended for food lovers. However please note that the restaurant is located in a very crowded area so finding car parking is nearly impossible. It's best to reach the place on foot or by using public transport. Also due to its popularity the waiting time can range from 30 minutes to 1 hour especially during peak hours. Still the amazing food and quality make it worth the wait.

Not worth the hype. Though people say it’s famous but we found it very unhygienic. Photo of walls inside attached, you can see the gunk on walls and decoration. The washroom is in worst condition & smells bad. It can easily make you vomit. When their basic hygiene is worst, how can you expect them to have a clean kitchen & food hygiene?? Speaking of which, the dishes we ordered were loaded with oil and butter, - cholesterol packed - photos attached. We had to drain extra oil & grease before eating. Chicken was hard and not fully cooked also. Rabadi sweet was average too served with plastic spoons. This restaurant is always full of people, I wonder how the owners and staff don’t attend to their basic & food hygiene. Pls don’t go to this place if you care about your health.

It's a great place for foodies, they serve delicious food including curries and tandoori starters. The taste is authentic and finger licking. The space in the restaurant is very confined but service is immaculate. One should definitely try and will keep returning to this place.

I've been here in Mumbai since Dec 2024 and I am writing this today ( 28 sept 2025) and I must tell you that the food here is amazing. I have seen the same thick redish gravy everywhere but here I got that little thin homlike gravy which was so good. I ordered chicken korma ( main course) with rotis (eat anyone it was better than the other restaurants) and chicken kebab and tandoori chicken (in starters) Food - solid 4 Accessibility -4 Ambience - 4 Staff - 4 Overall - solid 4 It was yummy 😋

Visited Noor Mohammadi Hotel with high expectations, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. The ambiance was just average, and the staff seemed unfriendly. The food quality was mediocre, and what really disappointed me was the serving of beef in India, which doesn't align with local sentiments. Considering the hype around this place, I felt it was a complete waste of time. Maybe they need to work on their service, food, and overall experience. Not recommended.

First ate here ~6 years ago. Was amazing then, one of the best restaurants in India I'd ever been to. Have been back every year or two since and the quality has dropped to almost nothing now. I'd love to see someone take the original recipes and execute them somewhere else but with quality ingredients and proper care. tl;dr: not what it used to be.

I recently visited Noor Mohammad Hotel after hearing a lot of hype, but honestly, it was a huge disappointment. I ordered Chicken Sanjubaba and Mutton Nihari — both dishes were tasteless and full of oil. There was no real flavor in the gravy; it felt more like spiced oil than a proper curry. I really regret going there. Definitely not worth the hype or the price. Would not recommend

Sam’s Bohri Zaika is a gem located in Chandivali. If you are craving for Mughlaii foood then your search ends here. We ordered Chicken Biryani Bohri Thaal which consisted of Tandoor Smoked Chicken Biryani along with 2 pieces of Sizzling Chicken Samosa and Chicken Seekh Kebab each. The Biryani was well cooked and aromatic and was accompanied with some raita. The Chicken Samosas are one of its kind. We tried it for the first time and it turned out to be too good. The Chicken Seekh Kebab was mouth watering and was very tender. To top this, this thaal also contains lemon punch to quench your thirst and to end it on a sweet note, there is the Nawabi Kheer. The kheer was made up of rice and had the perfect amount of sweetness. This thaal is a must try and is a combo which contains everything in it.

Well that was some unique food aftr a long wait from this restaurant.. Haleem khichda was some thing new for me as i haven't tried this earlier...but it was good but compared to seekh and samosa it was not that good.. Seekh and samosa were very good and tasty and wiyh that kheer was just awesome.. They have a very good taste in biryani and seekh. A seekh is a must try dish over here. Delivery is very good here they deliver you a given time. Max safety measures are applied to food so that its totally safe. Thank you sam bohri's kitchen for this good food.

For the first time I had Bohri food , recommended by many I finally decided to give this place a try . I am absolutely in love with the bohri food here . The food being home cooked has it own taste and flavours . The traditional way was followed from washing hands to having a pinch of salt at the end . The Bohri thal consisit of : 1.       Lemon Cooler : The refresher drink was served . Quite decent love the pudina flavour in it . 2.       Lajawab Shammi Kebab : They are basically Mutton Kebabs , the kebab was perfectly cooked  and soft . 3.       Mazedaar Chicken Samosa :This was something I could resist . Firstly the cover was so crispy and the second chicken stuffing was delicious . 4.       Masti Mutton kheema Samosa : The mutton kheema samosa , the samosa was crispy and tasty . I had this for the first time and I liked it . 5.       Shandaar Mutton Haleem Bohri Khichda :  This is something interesting , the twist to the normal khichda , it is a full meal in itself because it has everything like mutton , dal and rice which traditional bohri masala as well . 6.       Bohri Khari chawal : This is again their traditional recipe which has normal rice with some caramelized onions and the khari is made with chicken and some traditional bohri masala . 7.       Nawaabi kheer : I found it similar to the phirini , but the best thing about it was not that sweet which made me more perfect with the meal . 8.       Pan : We eneded our meal with a meetha pan . The food was super delicious and also tasty , being home cooked it was perfect . The food wasn’t cooked that spicy also made us feel light . Definitely a must visit place if you love bohri food . Do give it a try .

I ordered from Sam's Bohri Zaika which is located in Chandivali this week. Food was delivered fast and hot. They serve special curated Bohri Thalis which are affordable with good portion size. I ordered a Shahi Chicken Boneless Haleem Khichda Thaal which contains Khichda, Keema Samosa, Seekh Kebab, and Lemon Punch which is a drink. Also I ordered their Nawabi Kheer. Khichda was super rich and delicious. Keema Samosa and Phirni were the best among all. Also the price of the Thaali is really good for what you get.

I recently ordered some food from Sam's Bohri Zaika for myself and a group of friends and we absolutely loved everything! They have a wide range of bohri food options and the food is reasonably priced We ordered: Lajawab Shami Kebab: These shami kebabs were cooked so well that they would just melt in your mouth. The kebabs were coated with egg and the filling was a mixture of minced mutton and dal. Very unique dish, I highly recommend it! Mutton Seekh Kebab: Mutton skewers marinated in a great spice mix, these go great with Pav. Chicken Keema Samosa: Crispy Triangle Samosa filled with a yum Chicken Keema filling, a great starter! Mutton Khichda (Haleem): A mixture of dals and crushed wheat, the mutton pieces are perfectly cooked. This dish is simply superb, and unlike anything I have had before. Mutton Kaleji Gurda with Pav: Mutton liver and kidney cooked in a delicious bohri style gravy. Loved it! Bohri Chicken Tikka Biryani: Perfectly spiced boneless chicken tikka with delicious biryani rice. The quantity of chicken was generous and the biryani is served with raita, this is a must try. Nawaabi Kheer: A rich rice based kheer with dry fruits, the best way to end a home cooked meal! I loved every single item we had and I am sure I will keep ordering from Sam's Bohri Zaika!

It was a pleasant experience visiting Sam’s Bohri Zaika and also trying out bohri food for the first time. Here you can find bohri food in its authentic way. It is a home based outlet run by Chef Samina and managed by their entire family. I must say they are wonderful hosts and highly proficient in cooking bohri food. We were welcomed with lemon cooler indulged with pudina. We tried our hands on number of dishes like Chicken and Mutton Samosas, Mutton Haleem, Mutton Shammi Kebabs, Kaari Chawal and Kheer. Out of all I would highly recommend Chicken Samosa and Mutton Haleem. The chicken stuffing in the samosa was just perfect with the cover being crisp and it was not oily at all. In Mutton Haleem-The succulent pieces of mutton wrapped in a perfect blend of barley, wheat, lentils and spices gives a paste like consistency which is a scrumptious result. Happy Eating :)

Bademiya is a renowned kebab and curry restaurant that has been a fixture in Colaba since the 1940s. What started as a humble street stall by Mohammad Yaseen, has now become a landmark for succulent kebabs, grilled chicken, and seafood starters. Open until the early hours of the morning, this roadside eatery offers an authentic dining experience where you can even have your food served on the hood of your car.
The food is meant to satisfy the soul. The mutton bheja fry is a must try. Their chicken sheek kebab was not the extraordinary. The wait time is not that long. And moreover the food is worth every penny.
Sipra S — Google review
Visited Bade Miyan restaurant behind the Taj—an old, no-frills place with a simple setup. Food is cooked across the road and served inside. We ordered Chicken Seekh Kebab, Chicken Tikka, Rumali Roti, Chicken Bhuna, and Chicken Dum Biryani. The food looked basic but tasted quite good. Service was a bit disorganized—they didn’t provide cutlery or meal plates initially. We had to start eating the biryani using the small plates available at the table, and only afterward were we given proper meal plates. Portions were on the smaller side, but we didn’t have to wait long outside—got called in within 5 minutes, though there was a wait at the table before our order was taken.

Walked in with a lot of expectations but then that was not right. It seemed like any other kebab place with the difference being separate places for vegetarian and non vegetarian kebabs. The vegetarian kebabs were no different in taste to what you get elsewhere tbh. The service was impersonal but quick. You order, eat, pay cash and leave.

First of all, it’s not a dining, you have to stand on a road and eat Secondary, they hardly have anything to do with the roll, they just put chicken tikka in rumaali Roti with some green Chutney It’s very very basic, and they charge ₹315 for it, which is not at all worth without any dining experience. JW Cafe is a vibrant restaurant located in an elegant hotel, offering a diverse range of dishes in a refined setting. The waffle bar is a highlight, allowing guests to customize their freshly made waffles with an array of toppings. While it may be on the pricier side, it's renowned for its exceptional buffet, particularly the lavish Sunday brunch. The weekday buffets also offer an impressive culinary experience with a wide selection of Indian, Chinese, Japanese, and Thai cuisine.
We - a group of 9 - had dinner buffet at JW Cafe on a weekday evening in Feb 2024. The spread on offer is IMMENSE! The quality of food is good to excellent. Please allow plenty of time to be able to enjoy the buffet spread in a non-rushed manner. I would be happy to dine here again.
Shirish P — Google review
Walked in with a prior reservation for their dinner buffet. Horrible menu planning. Being ex hospitality professionals we took a stroll and took a look of /at the buffet spread. Everything seemed just ok !!! But when every dish was tried and tasted , nothing hit right to the palate. Tastless, and some were literally off taste . I mean if one is spending around 6k plus for 2 people for a dinner buffet, the least you could do is keep varieties , offer mutton on the main course but no...no varieties , infact itseems the headchef who planned this menu wasn't interested in tasting the laid out food...and just for the sake of it and cost consciously kept less options thereby making the guest unsatisfied for his/her desire to try out varieties . No steamed rice was offered on the buffet, the mutton kebabs were not hitting the palate right, the cold cuts were tastless, no smoked salmon to offer on the cold cuts( every hotel offers the same), the malai cheese paneer was just dry and weird tasting, the green fish curry was just the biggest blunder on the menu. Being a weekend ( Saturday) and such pathetic buffet option is laid out then might as well shut down your buffet. ...better options are available with standalone restaurants in and around the vicinity. Had come here to celebrate a birthday and was just left disappointed. Never coming back again for sure... With regards to service , I must say the SERVICE PERSONNELS were attentive to clearing the tables and refilling our water glasses. So kudos to the service team, but the kitchen team and its head needs to evaluate their menu and revamp the buffet menu. Last but not the least...when it comes to food, if a guest is disappointed, the guest will definitely not come back again. so I guess you guys lost a customer . Pathetic experience!!!! Not recommended!!!

One of the tastiest Mutton Biryanis I’ve had — perfectly spiced and aromatic. The Mutton Kheema was rich and flavorful, and the Butter Chicken was creamy and comforting, just how it should be. Special thanks to Riyaz for the outstanding service — made the whole experience even better! Only suggestion: please start online reservations to cut down the long wait times. The food is 100% worth it, though!

The experience was the complete opposite of what I expected — and in the best way possible! The taste was simply unbelievable. From presentation to flavors, everything was on point. I started with an appetizer recommended by the staff, and it turned out to be absolutely delicious — full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The Butter Chicken was the real highlight — not sweet at all, just the way I like it. Rich, creamy, and full of authentic spices. I had also heard a lot about their biryani, and it did not disappoint either — aromatic, well-balanced, and very satisfying. The staff was extremely polite and helpful, guiding me through the menu with some great suggestions. Their service added a lot to the overall experience. If there’s one suggestion I’d make — they should definitely consider adding valet parking, especially during busy hours. But apart from that, everything was perfect. Highly recommend giving this place a chance — it’s a must-try for food lovers!

Veg food quality is pretty average Non veg food better but not very good. Veg Biryani was fully like Pulav, roti and subzi ok, Chicken ok, Crispy Veg made was bad and not at all crispy. And the food was not at all worth the High Prices.

Visited Delhi Darbar recently and was genuinely impressed with their authentic flavors. The chicken samosa and mutton cutlet were absolutely delicious – perfectly spiced and cooked just right. The biryani was another highlight, rich in aroma and full of flavor. The only slight letdown was the mutton rogan josh, which didn’t quite match up to the rest of the dishes – it lacked the depth and richness I was expecting. But overall, a satisfying experience and definitely worth a visit for anyone craving good, traditional Mughlai-style food.

Delhi Darbar boasts to give you best biryani in Mumbai. Well that's true to some extent. Service is excellent. Food is good and with decent portion size. It's located along the road to causeway market. Overall it's good. One should try. Washrooms are not very good. Carry your own hygiene stuffs.

After so many years of searching for truly good food in Mumbai, I finally found the best restaurant — Delhi Darbar! Their flavors are so unique and incredibly tasty. In Mumbai, it’s really hard to find that unforgettable taste that feels worth every penny — but this place delivers exactly that. Honestly, even if I had to pay extra, I wouldn’t hesitate. Their dishes are just that good! I tried the Paneer Tikka Biryani, and oh my god — it’s absolutely delicious! I can confidently say no other biryani place in Mumbai’s veg section can beat it. Delhi Darbar truly gives you the royal “Taste of a King Maharaj.” 🌟 I also tried their Tom Yum Soup from the Chinese menu, raita, and lassi. The raita is served separately (not included with the biryani), but it’s delicious too. Though honestly, the biryani is so flavorful and juicy that you don’t even need it! The lassi was normal, refreshing, and a nice finish to the meal. I haven’t tried their other dishes yet, but I definitely will — and I’ll update my review once I do. Thank you, Delhi Darbar, for serving such unforgettable food! I really can’t get your unique taste out of my mind. ❤️

Restaurant
SodaBottleOpenerWala is a contemporary Irani cafe with multiple locations in India, including BKC & Lower Parel in Mumbai. The restaurant chain aims to preserve the fading tradition of Irani cafes and offers a retro ambiance that reflects the rich heritage of these establishments. With its stained glass and eclectic furniture, the cafe exudes a timeless atmosphere.
Excellent atmosphere and the staff are extremely courteous. Staff Banti was very friendly and caring. The breakfast was delicious and was made to our taste. The music was superb, pink Floyd, eagle’s etc. History displayed on the walls and tables makes it a very interesting place to visit. Will definitely come here for dinner- weekend music night . A must visit place
Shishir — Google review
SodaBottleOpenerWala in BKC is a true delight, both in terms of food and atmosphere. The menu is full of creative twists on classic Parsi and Bombay comfort dishes, and both veg and non-veg options are thoughtfully prepared. A must-try is their Curd Caramel Custard — rich, nostalgic, and perfectly done. The place is vibrant and full of personality, with quirky decor that feels like you're dining in a living Parsi museum. As a Persian myself, I make sure to stop by on every visit to Mumbai — it's one of those spots that never gets old. The music is always fun, and the bar adds to the lively vibe. However, there are a couple of things that could use improvement: the washrooms are small and not very clean, which can really take away from the otherwise great experience. Also, the water cooler setup feels out of place in such a well-themed space — a proper AC unit would have made it far more comfortable. Still, for the food, energy, and atmosphere — it’s a spot that stands out.

Even though the place is highly reccomended for non veg, I found good vegetarian selection! We had the pav bhaji, the mac n cheese, raasta sando, misal pav. All were hits! The lagan nu custard was delish! The icing on the cake was the ambience, decor- nostagia provoking decor and the music! Vintage classic 90's and 80's music and a juke box! A must visit place! Will be back again when I visit Mumbai again!

This is an amazing place with a strong heritage and historical vibe. The location is great, and the ambiance and decor are truly impressive. Surprisingly for such a famous and historical establishment, the service was average and forgettable. We had to wait a long time for even basic items like bun maska and chai. While the food taste wasn't bad and had a signature Persian flavor, this spot is definitely more for taking pictures and potentially bumping into celebrities
Ashwin M — Google review
If you are in BKC looking for authentic Parasi cuisine you are coming to the perfect place. SodaBottle Opener Wala was started as an initiative to make Parasi cuisine available in an elegant way. Yes you would always find vintage Irani cafes across Mumbai with hardly any new decor as they still maintain the old look. This particular restaurant has maintained the vintage look with an elegance. Went there on a weekday lunch and ordered the bestsellers - Bun Maska and chai, Chicken Dhansak, Baida Roti and the vintage sodas. The food was perfectly cooked with an amazing taste. I would say it’s a must try for the food the decor and vintage vibes. The chicken was perfectly cooked, I am not a big fan of Irani chai so I did not like it so you can ditch the chai and either munch on their keema pav. Food - 5/5 Price - 5/5 Ambience- 5/5 Staff - 4/5 Location - 5/5

Been to this place for lunch with my family, the service was a bit erratic few items flew in fast but other took some time to arrive. Tried the mutton sukka, nalli nihari, chicken berry pulav, fish and chips all of them good. Mutton dishes could have been better, berry pulav was great. Lagan nu custard a must try. The decor is very relaxed with old days charm. Definitely will be back again to try more.😍

Visited on a friend’s recommendation, and overall, it was a fun experience with a few caveats. • Food: The highlight of the night — consistently good and full of flavor. Definitely worth going for the food alone. • Ambience: Great vibe, but be prepared — it gets very cramped at night, especially on weekends. The space tends to turn into more of a dance floor than a restaurant, so if you’re looking for a relaxed dinner, this might not be the best spot. • Drinks: Cocktails were just okay — not bad, but nothing memorable either. • Music: High-energy, mostly Bollywood and commercial hits. Great for dancing, but too loud for conversation. • Tip: If you don’t have a table, skip weekends — walk-ins will likely be left standing. Good vibe overall, but go for the food and the buzz — not for a quiet drink or a well-crafted cocktail.

Non vegetarian restaurant
Bagdadi Restaurant, located in Colaba, is a long-standing establishment that has been serving delicious Persian cuisine for over 125 years. Despite its simple decor, this non-vegetarian eatery is renowned for its flavorful Mughlai dishes and perfectly cooked tandoori specialties such as Shami kebabs and tangdi kebabs.
I’ve been coming to Bagdadi Restaurant in Colaba since 2011, and it’s still one of my favorite places to eat. The food is always tasty, filling, and full of flavor. This time, we ordered Chicken Fry, Chicken Pattice, the day’s special in chicken and mutton, and of course, their big, soft rotis that everyone talks about. Everything was cooked really well and had that classic, homely taste. We ended the meal with their caramel custard – smooth, light, and just sweet enough. If you enjoy simple, no-fuss food that tastes amazing, Bagdadi is a must-visit. Great place, great food, and so many good memories over the years!

One of the legendary restaurants in town, sitting in the shadow of Bademiyan, but the food wise is definitely a good competition and also value for your money. The place offers a sharing table concept given the crowds that come here for meals. I have met people who stay in the Taj hotel but have come here to this restaurant for lunch. The fried chicken is the most hot selling food on the menu, it comes with a nice fried piece of potato. I also love the tandoori rotis here definitely something you have to try for sure. Mind you the size of the roti is quite big so be mindful while ordering. Beef chill is another recommendation from the menu. This time we tried the beef bhunna and bheja masala and it was delicious. The beef was slightly chewy but the gravy was good. Overall a good place to visit and very pocket friendly.

One of the legendary Halal restaurants in town, definitely value for money, but food-wise not that great. The fried chicken is their most popular dish, but I felt it lacked salt. On the other hand, the Mutton Nihari is a must-try. We really enjoyed it. Coming from Kerala, where biryani is everything, I found their chicken biryani highly overrated and quite disappointing. (Maybe this is how Mumbaikars enjoy biryani, because the person who recommended this place loves it, but I felt the opposite.) Overall, it’s a good place to visit and very pocket-friendly, but don’t expect outstanding taste in the food.
Nihal M — Google review
We loved Bagdadi and have been coming here for years now. Went yesterday after a while and their food still is damn good. They have renovated the space so it also looks much cleaner than it used to be. The chicken chilli was a lovely flavourful gravy but the mutton dabba gosht was the hero of the night. It's SO tasty, pairs perfectly with their naan. But it's only available on holiday special days apparantly so I keep that in mind. I tried the chicken boti kebabs but it was too dry. The caramel custard was nice though. Can't wait to go back here again.
Anish K — Google review
It's amazing how much this restaurant has changed since I was last here over a decade ago. The new renovation is so clean and tidy, but the old-school charm of the wooden menu is still there. The food is nice. Chicken Fry Masala was one of the best dishes I've had. I was so pleased that I brought a friend with me the very next day. Unfortunately, the second visit was a different story. The food was still great, but a server requested a tip while we were still eating, which completely ruined the experience. It's a shame that a single server's actions detracted from an otherwise perfect dining experience.

Freshly made rotis ,Nan hot made with butter and ghee , Mutton are fresh, look like slowly cooked great in taste, share some time with my friend bit calm and quite place with some sweet deserts
Shamseer_c — Google review
One of the legendary restaurants in Mumbai but sadly it has lost its charm. After so many years I got an opportunity to visit this place and it was such a disappointing experience. We have ordered chicken boneless biryani which was dry and out of five chicken pieces two pieces were undercooked as they were hard and very chewy. When we told this to the waiter he started giving us free ka Gyaan, that Ye aese Hi hota he aapko shayad se nahi pata and all. Sad to have this experience and that too came out from one of the famous restaurants.
Aniket A — Google review
Review (August 2025): We visited as a group of six and tried a variety of dishes, including Chicken Biryani, Mutton Biryani, Jeera Rice, Chicken Fried Rice, Buffalo Fry, Buffalo Masala, Butter Roti, and Chicken Fry with and without Masala. The biryanis were a bit disappointing, as they were essentially basmati rice mixed with curry rather than authentic biryani. Jeera rice was decent, while the chicken fried rice turned out quite good. Portion sizes were generous across most dishes, but the taste overall was average. The highlight of our meal was definitely the buffalo dishes, which were flavorful and well-prepared. One downside was the washroom arrangement—the bathroom is located outside the restaurant, kept locked, and requires getting a key from reception. It’s also situated uncomfortably close to the kitchen. Overall, a mixed experience: buffalo items are worth trying, but other dishes were just okay.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience in Mumbai, look no further than Bombay Barbeque. This charming restaurant is renowned for its sumptuous Sunday brunches and lavish buffets that showcase an array of North Indian dishes, all served in a cozy atmosphere. With three locations across the city, it has become a go-to spot for food enthusiasts seeking variety and quality.

The place was good, staff is excellent but unfortunately the food failed to impress me. I chose buffet, the serving was great they didn't let us wait for a minute but when the food doesn't taste good then how many rounds you can do? Though the grills were nice. Chicken was fine, fish was okay. The best part was dessert I suppose. That's where I felt worth paying this amount.

Best place for buffet Food is same for lunch & dinner so it's better to go for lunch bcos prices are different. Starters are best but main course are not that much amazing but it's good. Dessert should improve bcos it's been same since long time. But whatever they have it's yummy. I would say it's not best for dessert but it's good to have after heavy food. I'm posting few photos, I hope u like it.

I hadn't had Mughlai food in a long time. So, I was excited to visit Bombay Barbeque. However, many factors about this restaurant couldn't meet my standards. It is recommended that you get a reservation. It doesn't get booked up quickly (I requested a reservation on the day we visited the place), but there will be a long wait if you don't reserve a table. Valet parking is available. The ambiance of this restaurant is pleasant and is perfect for a large gathering among family and friends. The way the tables are set also allows for a reasonable amount of privacy. Although this place offers a buffet style main course, the primary attraction are the appetizers that are served at your table. The starters are either served in skewers which are placed on a grilled heating unit at the table or served in plates by the serving staff. The mushroom skewers and crispy corn were amazing. I kept asking for more each time a server stopped by. The rest of the appetizers were disappointing. All of us at the table opted for a vegetarian course. That being said, the paneer skewers were sub par. The paneer quality was abysmal; it crumbled when I sliced through it. The cajun spiced potato was bleh as well. The saucy topping was sour rather than tart. Regrettably, we were served a few types of skewers, such as potato and corn on the cob, almost towards the end of our appetizer course. We were close to full and that's when we saw that we were getting something new. It's strange that we didn't get a sampling of each appetizer at the beginning of our meal. The drinks here were very good. We ordered 6 different drinks with our meal and all of them was pleasant. The Mango Rapture is a different take on a mango cooler and I do recommend it. Desserts are another thing I do look forward to. The chocolate brownie and ice cream are classics. I was pleasantly happy with the kiwi pastry which was just the right amount of tart. The blueberry cheesecake definitely needs to be renamed. That simply wasn't cheesecake. The pastry fell apart very easily and didn't taste good either. A member at my table was also dissatisfied with the phirni he ate. A confusing problem that I faced was the serving staff. We just had too many stopping by our table. I requested 4 waiters to take my drink order before one of them did. The same happened when we requested for more appetizers. We had to ask different servers as the same person never stopped by the table. The bottom line is that Bombay Barbeque is an expensive restaurant. Any person who comes here would plan their budget for this meal. At close to Rs. 1,000 for a vegetarian buffet per person there shouldn't be so many problems with the food and service. I set my expectations as per the price that a restaurant sets and Bombay Barbeque has a long way to go before it does right by its price.

Well spent time at this restaurant. Cool and chilled enviroment to be with ur friends and family. There are variety of dishes to have over here. Delicious taste in each of their dishes. I had every starter and they were too tasty. Chicken and prawns on the grill were amazing. Live barbeque just adds good taste to ur food. Main cousre included variety of dishes from pasta, sea food to mutton biryani. Variety of dishes available in the veg section as well.Ending the meal with desserts which included all types of cakes, few fruits and jalebis. Also the staff is friendly. The sea food festival is ongoing at #bombay_barbeque do visit if u love sea food. Festival ending on 23rd december. Surely a place to be recommended.!

I love barbeque. Bombay barbeque met my expectations. Visited this outlet. The services. Ambience is very good. The servers sustanta and chef kumar did a great job for making the lunch awesome. Special thanks to chef Kumar for making tomato soup which was not in the menu. Overall the food taste good. They customise the recipes as per your taste. The services are so quick that they fill the entire table at the blink of an eye. Will visit again.

We went to Bandra-Khar outlet of the popular Bombay Barbeque restaurant chain for Dinner with group of friends. It's an all you can eat buffet with quite a lavish spread including vegetarian ₹1099 and non vegetarian ₹1199. This includes barbecue served hot on a grill right on your table, soups, starters/entrees, main course and desserts. The ambience is nice and seating is quite comfortable for everybody. The spread includes Indian tandoori kababs, Pasta, Pizza, Asian, Indian main course and desserts. They even have a chaat counter with different varieties of chaat. The staff is very courteous and serves you promptly anything you need. However the quality & taste of food was really bad. Also while we finished dinner around 12:30 they told us to pay in cash as the card machines were already closed. We were very fortunate to have cash amongst our friends, otherwise it would have been a challenge to find ATM & pay so late in the night. Overall not a great experience. Try some other better options nearby

Bombay barbeque one of the finest dining place in mumbai. They have buffets for lunch and dinner both. The food and the hospitality was amazing. They have their Sea food festival going on till 23rd December. All the sea food lovers, it's a must go! The Dishes I tried here are: It all started with chaat - Pani Puri, Dahi Puri, Sev Puri and Papdi chaat. As I am a curd lover I liked Dahi Puri and Papdi chaat more. They were so yumm that I craved more for the starters and desserts. Then we started with the starters on the grill - there were 9 varieties of non veg starters from which I liked the most were Angara Tangdi, Mutton Masala Seekh Kabab, Thai Bbq grilled fish and Tandoori Crab. The veg starters were also great! Coming to the mocktails, if you love a tangy taste in your mocktail I would highly recommend you to go with Salty Beach. Soup and the main course were substantial. The Desserts were fantastic. Actually I liked all the desserts but the best were Blueberry cheesecake, litchi pastry and Chocolate Donuts😋 Overall My experience here was awesome. Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambience: 5/5

Kasbah Grand is an upscale establishment that offers a range of global cuisines, including Chinese and Indian dishes. The elegant setting includes a rooftop terrace where patrons can enjoy hookah until the early hours of the morning. This tranquil experience allows night owls to unwind in a peaceful environment while savoring delicious food from various culinary traditions. The lounge's furnishings strike a balance between sophistication and beauty, adding to the overall ambiance.
A nice open roof terrace top restaurant serving different varieties of excellently cooked Middle Eastern Cuisine. They have couches placed in Dhaba style and provide decent service. Pricey but worth attempting. I would say this is a huge huge place. You won't realise it when you see from outside. The moment you enter you'll be so amazed to find this place to be so gigantic. Loved the theme and interiors they've done. Food is really tasty. Amazing Rooftop ambience. Each kababs in sauce has a unique taste and food are awesome. Bit heavy on the pocket but worth it. Really loved it. Amazing place and worth the visit.

It is a fun place to visit, price is reasonable, the ambiance is great specially during the evening with the lights and the vibe changes. You get veg-nonveg both the varieties. You can choose your seating arrangement or would be given according to the availability. The food is tasty and quantity is fulfilling. You can head straight here if you are a hookah lover, the songs take you to a different space and ranges are reasonable. Don't worry the hookah ambiance and the family ambiance is entirely different.🥂😁

Kasbah Grand, An ultimate destination for those who love to gorge on Mughlai delicacies. Also, they have started up with hookah recently. I have been a fan of this place especially when you consider the area of this place. I always come here to try out their one of a kind "Nalli Barrah Kebab". Trust me its the best I have had in my entire life. Now talking about the ambience, they have an AC section as well as a rooftop section as well. I prefer the rooftop enjoying my sheesha along with their lip-smacking dishes.Good portions to be very frank and rates are also quite average. They don't serve alcohol but some interesting mocktails can be spotted on their menu. I had, "Murg Jalandhai Kebab" & "Murg Barrah Kebab" for appetizers. Both were served hot on a sizzling platter and what drool-worthy marination. The sole reason for trying out their kebabs are their marination, simply amazing and delicious. Our mains comprised of "Murg Matka" which we had with a couple of buttery rotis. It was served in an actual matka itself and the quantity can be easily had by 2-3 people. Boneless pieces and thick gravy to be precise. "Murg Kepsa Rice" Do not miss this at any cost. I repeat, this is not to be missed at all. Fabulous quantity and can be relished by like 3 hungry people like me. The tandoori pieces were quite decent in size and a delightful and yummy dish. Can't really end the meal without having "Firni". A decent dollop served in an earthen bowl. Neither too sweet nor too bland. A perfect way to end the meal. Nothing to complain either way. Food is promising and is definitely worth the price. It's open during lunchtime as well but would suggest visiting this place during the evening time to actually enjoy the vibe of this place. A definite recommendation for sheesha and Mughlai food.

Have you ever visited a restaurant and awestruck with its beauty and interiors. That was how I felt when I visited this place situated on Link road. This place is huge with multiple seating areas each decorated so beautifully they simply leave you amazed. The efforts put up behind this place indeed speak volumes. The staff is extremely hospitable and treats every table with utmost warmth. Overall this is our take on @Kasbah Grand: Ambience: 5/5 Service:5/5 Food: 5/5 Creativity: 5/5 Food we ordered: 1. Crispy Roomali Papad: By the time we were settled they treated us with huge crisp inverted roomali masala papad. This was good to munch on by the time we placed our order 2. Malai Tangdi Kulfi: This was something I wanted to try. Chicken drumsticks coated with rich buttery marination enveloped in foil and cooked. The foil rolls are served as is and the moment you break open the foil the rich aroma of buttery chicken engulfs you, pleasant and delicious. Though no spice at all so spice lovers I wouldn’t recommend to order this. 3. Murgh Barrah Kabab: Tender chicken kebab wih rich spicy marination roasted to perfection, just squeeze a slice of lime and feast on it.. 4. Balinese Barbeque Chicken: Small chicken chunks tossed in spicy gravy and spread across a beautiful platter with veggies. This was amazing flavourwise and the quantity was good too.. 5. Murgh Matka: For the Mains we went for a spicy chicken preparation cooked and served in earthen pot. The chicken was quite tender and the gravy had that earthly fragrance and flavor. It went really well with garlic butter naan and roomali roti. . 6. Murgh Biryani: To finish our meals we had to order a Biryani so we went for this Murgh Biryani on recommendation which was again cooked in an earthern pot and seat with flour. The masala was rich and rice was fragrant. Another must have dish, quantity wise too it was amazing and enough for 2 people.. 7. Refreshments: For drinks we went for Ferrero Rocher milkshake which was thick and loaded with chocolate. Secondly we tried the Kasbah Grand Special Milkshake which was a concoction of dryfruits. It makes you kinda full before your meal so try one first. Lastly we enjoyed a tall tower of icy strawberry margherita. It was amazing and quite huge. 8. Desserts: Ending on a sweet note is amust so tried this Gulbahar Shahi Tukda. This delicacy is quite popular and they simple scored it. Delicious is quite an understatement. Overall it was a lavish experience indeed. Amazingly breathetaking interipors, courteous staff, delicious food and creative cocktails stole my heart. Special mention to our attendant Mr. Ravi Devadiga for such a lovely time. Definitely recommended. P.S. They are also starting Tobacco free Hookah in a separate section so if you’re looking for some good places do give it a shot. Happy Fooding 🙂

This casual eatery boasts an extensive menu filled with local and Chinese delights, featuring mouthwatering non-vegetarian dishes like Mutton Paya, Nalli Nahari, and various Mughlai-style curries.
We especially loved the Makhmali chkn - it was cooked to perfection. If you're looking for a great meal during your stay, definitely dine at the hotel restaurant. Value for money: If applicable, mention whether the price of the meal aligned with the quality.

Sarvi Restaurant, situated in Byculla, is a renowned dining establishment that has been serving regional Indian cuisine and Chinese dishes for nearly a century. Despite its unassuming decor and no-frills service, the restaurant exudes an old-world charm that continues to attract crowds of patrons. The menu boasts classic chicken and mutton kebabs, rich Mughlai-style preparations, as well as more adventurous options like tongue masala fry and brain plain fry for those with an adventurous palate.
We had mutton kebab & paratha, Mutton Paya soup, Chicken biryani, Mutton Biryani. Everything was good. Paratha can be avoided as it seems oily, but it tasted good with kebabs. Staff is very attentive & will suggest about other dishes

Visited after a very long time and it's still pretty much the same as before, except that they now have an ac dining room. Ordered the following Mutton seekh kebab 4/5 Same taste no change at all. Buff seekh kebab 5/5 Even better than the mutton version. Tender and melt in the mouth. Definitely order this If you eat buff meat. Paratha 4/5 Hot and flaky. A must have with seekh kebabs. Not for those who hate oily stuff! Mutton masala 3.5/5 Average dish, but wanted to try something different here besides the seekh kebabs hence ordered. Tandoor roti 3.5/5 A mixture of grains and pulses, taste is different. Mutton paya 3.5/5 The soup is delicious hence ordered it, paya pieces were okay. Mutton biryani 2.5/5 Never had biryani here so ordered to try. Would not recommend it either, as it's pretty below par. Caramel custard 3/5 It's actually a chinagrass pudding with caramel, so have it strictly as a novelty sweet. Service was pretty fast but the waiters are hard to get hold of as they are not many to service tables and take parcel order's, which keep coming thick and fast. The ambience is also just the same as before, the only change is that they now accept UPI payment. I'd definitely visit again, if only for the buff seekh kebabs & parathas.

I visited this place on the weekend. The place has an old vibe to it. The food is strictly average nothing extraordinary. People have unnecessarily hyped it up. We had ordered: 1) seekh kebab 2) Irani seekh 3) Chicken Seekh 4) Paratha 5) Tandoori Roti The seekh kebab was okayish. Irani seekh was tasteless and blend, only chicken seekh was good but nothing extraordinary in taste. Paratha was oily and tasted weird. Tandoori roti was the only good thing. Didn't try any other things after the kebabs and was disappointed. There are many other places one can visit for kebabs this place is average.

Visited May 2025. Had been meaning to come here for years! Had Chicken Sheek (Rs 100 for 2) and Mutton Sheek (Rs 200 for 2) with Tandori Roti (Rs 20). Quite tasty and not too spicy - just the way I like it. But after all the rave reviews, bit of a let down, perhaps i was expecting too much ;-) Place is reasonable clean. Will visit again, Masoor Pulav next. Pics attached. EDIT : Had Masoor Pulav (Rs 130) on my second visit. As ggod as the sheeks. Again, not very spicy. There's kheema below the pulav rice BTW. Pics attached. EDIT 2 : Bheja Masala Fry (Rs 250). Very tasty and cooked perfectly. The bheja was buttery. As always, be aware of the dangers of consuming brain. Pics attached.

A Timeless Kebab Haven Hidden amidst the bustling lanes of Nagpada, Sarvi Restaurant is one of those rare gems that truly lives up to its legendary reputation. I had heard endless praises about their kebabs, but nothing could have prepared me for just how extraordinary they were. The first bite of their Seekh Kebab was enough to silence every conversation around me — tender, smoky, and meltingly soft, with a depth of flavour that only decades of mastery can produce. Honestly, they are the best kebabs I’ve ever eaten — a must-try for anyone who appreciates authentic Mughlai cuisine. The place itself may not boast of fancy interiors or air-conditioned comfort, but that’s part of its charm. Sarvi’s old-world simplicity makes you focus entirely on what truly matters — the food. The aroma that greets you even before you enter is intoxicating, and watching skewers sizzling over charcoal is pure joy for any food lover. Their Bheja Fry and Mutton Roll are also worth a mention, but it’s the kebabs that completely steal the show. If you’re a first-timer, skip the usual restaurant circuit and head straight to Sarvi. It’s not just a meal — it’s an experience that stays with you long after you’ve left.

It was in my list since a long time. Went here when i was near the area. Its an old school irani cafe kind of seating and gives a lovely vibe with an old mumbai charm. We ordered seekh kebabs which were too soft and yumm. Mutton masala and tandoori roti was also good. Would love to try keema next time. Hero was seekh kebabs.

Yasin's Food Inn is a vibrant and contemporary restaurant in the bustling streets of Colaba market, offering a diverse menu of North Indian, Chinese, and regional specialties. Known for its delicious appetizers and non-vegetarian dishes, this popular establishment provides generously portioned and budget-friendly dinners. Located in Nalasopara West, Yasin's Food Inn has gained recognition for its authentic Indian cuisine which embodies the essence of traditional flavors without compromising on quality or safety standards.
Food inn has been one of the top choices when it comes to family dining in Lokhandwala. It has experienced exponential growth in the last decade owing to its consistency in quality food and service that it has been providing over the years. The restaurant is always packed but has room to accommodate guests flooding in. The food tastes yummy especially non-vegetarian food. The quality and quantity of food both are good and affordable as well. They have one of the best Shawarma as well in the area. Do visit this restaurant if you wish to eat some wholesome meals.

They serve delicious Indian cuisine. I like their Russian Salad, Chicken Tandoori and Chicken Seekh Kabab Masala. Overall, a good dining experience with good food quality.

The food is okay but increase the standard amount of Schezwan sauce provided with the chicken lollipops; there's never enough for the last piece. Charging ₹20 for an entirely separate, oversized portion that's twice the normal amount when only a little more was needed is wasteful and not a good solution. This practice of forcing customers to buy excessive amounts for a slight increase feels like a sleazy online technique that was never an issue when contacting the restaurant directly, and it needs to stop as it seems to be solely due to online influence

The best part of the entire evening was the food.. delicious.. everything that we ordered was amazing literally finger licking good. We ordered chicken cheese shawarma it was okay..i have tasted better ones... Then we ordered tandoori chicken lollipop so tender n so juicy it was the best part of the meal do try it if you ever visit this place m literally salivating while writing about it.. then we ordered chicken tikka biryani.. again a super yummm delicacy n the way they made it was amazing but the only thing that was disappointing was the quantity which is not value for money at all. With so much fame and reputation over the years . They really disappointed us. With poor quality and standard of chicken they serve. Ordered Platter worth rupees 835. But it was such a surprise. Came with14 pics chicken tikka pics. Not at all worth it .Chicken pic was not more than 50.grms small pic with no proper marination and wow factor was missing. It hardly came in salad plate that's it. It was not sufficient for 3 people. So ordered. Tandoori chicken which was again big bundler. FOR half Tandoori chicken charging 355. But y are you serving polio chicken with no mass in it only bone to it. HAVE eaten best Tandoori than this .I really wonder what is the hype about . Poor standard of meat .and quality plus zero customer satisfaction. Yes but mutton briyani is wort trying. Tender juicy mutton. And proper marination and authentic Dum briyani . Must try

So I took away my Chicken Biryani at 12:30am, but later at home when I served it. It was having Mutton pieces in it, so I'm assuming they mixed both biryanis being the last batch of the day and gave it to me as single portion. Very bad first experience.

⭐ 1 Star Disgusting Experience : Unsafe Food & Rude Staff Absolutely horrifying experience at this place. Found a dead insect in the food and yes, an actual insect! When I raised this with the staff, instead of taking responsibility, the shift manager had the audacity to argue and justify it. No apology, no action, just pure arrogance. For such a big name in the industry, this is pathetic and unacceptable. Zero hygiene. Zero accountability. Customers’ health clearly means nothing to them. Food Safety Authority of India must take strict action against such careless and dangerous practices. Think twice before eating here. Your health is at risk!

Seekh Barra: Juicy and flavorful skewered kebabs, perfectly grilled and seasoned, with a delightful smoky taste. Beja Fry: Rich and creamy brain curry, expertly spiced, offering a unique and savory experience. Nalli Nihari: Tender lamb shank stew, slow-cooked to perfection, with a rich and aromatic gravy. Roti: Freshly made, soft, and slightly chewy, ideal for sopping up flavorful curries. Biryani: Fragrant basmati rice infused with aromatic spices and tender meat or vegetables, a must-try for biryani enthusiasts.

Rushal K — Google review
It used to be one of my favorite places to have tikkas and tandoori chicken, but recently their quality and taste has taken a hit. Tried Haji Tikka after long and left very disappointed after my visit. Located in the busy bohra mohalla they have better space with a seating room. Ordered the Tandoori chicken leg and it was so disappointing. The chicken didn't feel like chicken, felt like a batter or masala covering rather than eating the chicken on the outside. Also the taste was so bad, I don't know what they have done to their tandoori, which I used to love at one time. Worst part, it was totally undercooked from inside and raw. I informed the staff and what he did was just bluntly take away the half eaten chicken, recooked it again which obviously almost burnt some of the cooked chicken and served it back onto my table without any word. Also had the seekh kabab, which although not undercooked but tasted pretty average. It's sad to see when businesses grow, they compromise on the quality and taste like this. Ambiance - 3/5 Service - 2/5 Food Quality/ Presentation - 1.5/5 Taste - 2/5 Portion size - 4/5 Value for money - 2/5

Amazing Mughlai specialities. We tried the Khameeri roti with Mutton Kebabs and Mutton Burra. I don't like Mutton because of the smell. I tried it as my family ordered the Mutton dishes and i really enjoyed it. No smell and amazing flavour of tender mutton and spices. We also tried the Chicken dum biryani which was loved by my mother and the quantity was huge enough to feed 4 of us. Great food if you are looking for Mughlai options with authentic flavours.

The food was awesome. The shaami kebab was the best. So soft and scrumptuous. Good: 1. food, food and food. 2. Service Could be better: 1. The sitting space is really small and isn't family friendly, and not at all kid friendly. Not sure why Karim's did not explore better but i would give a benefit of doubt as this is their first outlet and so they mist be testing the waters. Get a better place guys, you'll do wonders.

Very small restaurant which has seating area covering the place in front of the shop. Ambience is average. Not suitable for families as no washroom facility is there. Prices of all dishes is very high. On top of that they have 10% service charge. What for?? I ordered Nihari which was Rs 580. Khameeri roti 2 for 130. Add GST and 10% service charge the bill was Rs 817 for the curry and roti. Food was good. Service was ordinary. I was not served water till the meal was over. It was served only when i asked for it. I had heard their name so went there. But honestly wont go there again.

I took parcel from here, Nice ambiance to dine, food were awesome, famous for kebab and tikka.....
Sajin B — Google review
Good food, almost all their dishes have distinctive taste and aroma. Their kebabs will make you link your lips. Service is decent and a decent seating area down and upstairs. Service is little slower, but considering their taste, I do not mind waiting. Overall, a good place. They delivery too.
Sagar D — Google review
No one can make better Kakori kebabs than them. Soft juicy mealy in mouth. They go excellent with Kadak khameeri roti.
Manish B — Google review
The best galauti kebabs I have had. They melt in your mouth literally. Kakori kebab and golmirch kebab with warqi paratha are equally great. Malai phirni is just perfect Interiors and seating are pretty average. Prices are on higher side but it's worth it. They should definitely work on seating because for this price, anyone would expect a better dine in experience.
Tarun K — Google review
While kababs were excellent. Juicy and tender. Biryani was awesome as well. But would you like to eat this tasty food while you see cockroaches roaming around in dinghy smelly serving area? Your choice.
Mahesh N — Google review
We ordered their signature Kakori & Galawati Kebabs, along with their signature curry & biryani. The Kebabs were simply delicious. Have never had such soft and fresh kebabs before. However, their signature curry & biryani were a big let down. The curry, although delicious, was too oily, and the biryani was the most disappointing, it was just brown rice with meat. i would recommend to visit this place just to have their starters, which were extremely delicious.
Hanoz T — Google review
the only go to place for avadhi food. the kebabs and the biryani you get at Kakori house is not available anywhere else in mumbai. the restaurant chain owned by the qureshi family who was the head chef of the ITC hotels boasts of all the genuine ingredients and marination under the supervision of the owners. and shows in the first bite you eat. sheeg kabab and galavati kabab are the signature dishes. and so is biryani.
Anand P — Google review
Food is expensive but taste is not up to the mark. The chicken seemed to be not fresh. Their signature dish, kakori kabab, was very soft but taste wise I will give only two star.

Nestled in the vibrant Narayanguda area, Mehfil stands out as a premier dining destination among its various branches. The restaurant truly embodies the essence of a traditional mehfil, adorned with sparkling lights and bustling with energy during the evenings. For those who relish Haleem, Mehfil is renowned for its delectable Mutton Haleem that has garnered a loyal following among local enthusiasts.
Absolutely loved this hidden gem in Prabhadevi! Tried their Shawarma Pav, Classic Shawarma, Tandoori Momos, Pahadi Momos, and Malai Momos and each one was better than the last! The shawarmas were super juicy, spicy, and unbelievably loaded you honestly won’t find this kind of quantity and taste anywhere else in Mumbai at this price. The momos were bursting with flavour especially the malai and pahadi ones. Soft, spicy, buttery, and so comforting! You can clearly tell the quality is top-notch and everything is freshly made. Plus, they have a great offer 10% off on orders above ₹199, which makes it even more worth it. Highly recommend visiting Mehfil if you’re a street food lover looking for something affordable, filling, and full of flavour!
Neha D — Google review
Mehfil Prabhadevi is an absolute gem for anyone seeking the best non-veg street food in Mumbai. During our recent visit, we indulged in a variety of their offerings, and each dish exceeded our expectations. First, we tried the Tandoori Momos. These were perfectly cooked, with a smoky tandoori flavor that enhanced the succulent chicken filling. The accompanying chutneys provided the right amount of spice and tang, making each bite a delight. Next, we savored the Chicken Leg, which was nothing short of perfection. The meat was tender, juicy, and marinated with an exquisite blend of spices. The charred exterior added a delightful crunch that complemented the softness of the meat inside. The Shawarma Pav was another highlight of our meal. It was a unique twist on the classic shawarma, served in a soft pav that absorbed the flavors beautifully. The filling was generous, well-seasoned, and incredibly satisfying. Finally, the Loaded Cheese Noodle Frankie was an explosion of flavors. The noodles were cooked just right, and the cheese added a rich, creamy texture that brought everything together. Wrapped in a perfectly toasted frankie, it was a complete meal in itself. Mehfil Prabhadevi's dedication to quality and flavor is evident in every dish they serve. The bustling street food vibe adds to the experience, making it a must-visit spot for food lovers. Highly recommended!

Shawarma with cheese can be a delightful twist on the classic dish. The melted cheese adds a creamy richness to the savory flavors of the shawarma. The combination of tender chicken, crispy veggies, and gooey cheese creates a satisfying and indulgent experience. Best and tasty you must try it Crispy fried momos had a delightful crunch that contrasts beautifully with the soft, flavorful filling inside. The crispy exterior adds an extra dimension of texture to the dish, making each bite a satisfying experience. It was filled with stuffing of chicken and masala ,crispy fried momos are often a popular choice for those craving a crunchy, savory treat. Kurkure momos are a unique fusion dish that combines the crunchiness of Kurkure (an Indian snack) with the flavors of traditional momos. opinions on Kurkure momos can vary, as some people may enjoy the crunchy twist, while others may prefer the traditional momo experience. It’s very tasty 🤤 best unique combination I ever tried Shawarma with barbecue sauce is a delicious fusion of Middle Eastern and Western flavors. The smoky, tangy taste of barbecue sauce adds a flavorful kick to the already savory and aromatic shawarma meal. The combination of, seasoned chicken , crunchy vegetables, and creamy sauce creates a mouthwatering dish that satisfies both traditional and modern palates. The barbecue sauce adds a unique twist to the classic shawarma experience Overall loved the place very budget friendly surely visiting again to try out the other dishes from the menu..

If you're a momo enthusiast like me, then you absolutely must visit this Awesome Momo Corner in Mumbai! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with the tantalizing aroma of freshly steamed dumplings. The menu offers a delightful variety of momos, ranging from classic chicken and veggie options to more adventurous fillings like paneer Overall, Awesome Momo Corner has become my go-to spot for satisfying my momo cravings in Mumbai. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit. You won't regret it!

Awesome taste at affordable price. This place worth visit if u love momos and shawarma. They serve tempting tandoori chicken momos (must try item) which costs 130₹. Chicken tandoori and kabab also available. Didn’t tried shawarma but I think its their best seller item as many people were waiting for it. Its a street side stall so you have to stand and eat. There are limited chairs available to sit. If you want to try tandoori momos this place is perfect.
Mayur K — Google review
Mehfil's chicken tandoori momos were a hit with their delicious and flavorful taste, just as we have seen on Insta Reels. However, the chicken reshmi kababs didn't quite meet expectations. They were slightly undercooked and chewy, which was disappointing. Despite this, the overall experience was positive, and I would consider giving it a 4-star rating for the tasty momos, but the kababs could use some improvement. I forgot to click picture of kababs cause we were in little hurry!
Amogh G — Google review
