Nestled in the heart of Mumbai, Persian Darbar is a culinary gem that beautifully marries Mughlai flavors with an array of Arabic and Chinese dishes. This restaurant is particularly famous for its lavish buffet dinner, which offers a delightful selection at an attractive price point. The ambiance is nothing short of enchanting, featuring elegant drapes, sparkling chandeliers, and artwork that evoke a sense of regal charm inspired by Mughal architecture.
For a change Andheri food was made very nicely specially Chicken Lebnani Tikka as a starters😘, Chicken Lahore as a gravy, Butter roti, Musky Mango cocktail was superb and yes Cream cheese kunafa was too good 👌, so over all experience was good compared to byculla. Byculla was terrible experience for specially dabba gosht 🥴 guys believe me that's one thing do not order it's super pathetic. Rest service was good in andheri if you are going on weekend you may find waiting approx 15 min atleast so plan accordingly weekdays are ok 👍. Do not worry about parking there is valet service available..

We particularly enjoyed their mutton preparations – they were flavorful, tender, and clearly crafted with care. Beyond the delicious food, the ambiance adds significantly to the overall appeal. It's a comfortable and enjoyable space to dine in, whether you're with family or friends.
Zaheer S — Google review
1st time visit to this place. Really had a nice experience. The Murgh Tandoori Mumtazi is a must try. Baklava and Kunafa are so authentic. Definitely worth visiting this place if you want to have an experience of fine dining with authentic flavours.
Piyali M — Google review
The food overall was amazing. We ordered a thaal. I dont remember the exact name but its costing around 5k plus which had 30 pieces of starters, rice, gravy which is enough for a big group of 7 to 9 people depending on the capacity.
Tanmay T — Google review
I was in the vicinity and wanted to try the food at this place. It was a Tuesday evening and the place was crowded. I had to wait for about 15 mins to get a table. The menu was elaborate and I felt spoilt for choices. Finally narrowed down on mutton salli boti and garlic naan. The mutton was absolutely delicious and the garlic naan added more flavour. I would definitely visit again and try other options on the menu.

This Persian Darbar outlet in Marol has a royal ambience, authentic Mughlai food and some quality mocktails. And if you’re fasting this Shravan, their vegetarian delights are also an absolute treat. Taking you through what all we had here: Hara Bhara Kebab (Recommended) A green crispy melt-in-mouth kebab which was quite devouring for the taste buds. Paneer Tikka Juicy paneer tikkas marinated in bold spices. Dynamite Prawns (Recommended) Crispy prawns tossed in a fiery dynamite sauce that explodes with flavor. Malaysian Chicken (Recommended) A sweet and spicy appetizer. Tender chicken glazed in rich and tangy Malaysian style sauce that was quite delectable. Murg Dahi Lassooni Tikka Succulent chicken tikka with a rich garlic yogurt marinade. Mutton Rogan Josh Gravy Tender mutton pieces in a luscious rogan josh-style gravy. We opted for half portion that had three mutton pieces compared to full portion which had six. The combination of this gravy with butter naan was amazing. For rice, you can opt for the fragrant white and yellow biryani rice. For mocktails, we had Peach Iced Tea, Mango Mojito and Melon Blast. Overall, their entire menu was quite flavourful. The ambience was such a marvel especially in this Marol outlet and we had a stupendous time. They also have a dastarkhaan private room incase you are a large group. The perfect place to have a hearty meal. While Persian Darbar is a must go anywhere, you have to visit this specific outlet for the vibes.
The B — Google review
Persian Darbar in Sakinaka is a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds. The moment you walk in, the regal décor instantly transports you to a royal Mughlai setting – rich upholstery, ornate lighting, and intricate details that add to the grandeur. The star of the menu is undoubtedly their legendary Mutton Raan Chaap – tender, succulent, and bursting with smoky, flavorful spices that melt in your mouth. Each bite is a perfect balance of texture and taste, making it an absolute must-try. Combine that with prompt service and a lavish spread, and you have a dining experience that feels nothing short of royal.

Nice food. Big portions. Decoration of this place is absolutely amazing. Plenty of space. As a foreigner the only weird thing is staff staring at you but they are nice. Prices are great.

Kebab shop
Bademiya is a renowned kebab and curry restaurant that has been a fixture in Colaba since the 1940s. What started as a humble street stall by Mohammad Yaseen, has now become a landmark for succulent kebabs, grilled chicken, and seafood starters. Open until the early hours of the morning, this roadside eatery offers an authentic dining experience where you can even have your food served on the hood of your car.
The food is meant to satisfy the soul. The mutton bheja fry is a must try. Their chicken sheek kebab was not the extraordinary. The wait time is not that long. And moreover the food is worth every penny.
Sipra S — Google review
Visited Bade Miyan restaurant behind the Taj—an old, no-frills place with a simple setup. Food is cooked across the road and served inside. We ordered Chicken Seekh Kebab, Chicken Tikka, Rumali Roti, Chicken Bhuna, and Chicken Dum Biryani. The food looked basic but tasted quite good. Service was a bit disorganized—they didn’t provide cutlery or meal plates initially. We had to start eating the biryani using the small plates available at the table, and only afterward were we given proper meal plates. Portions were on the smaller side, but we didn’t have to wait long outside—got called in within 5 minutes, though there was a wait at the table before our order was taken.
Vinaya — Google review
Walked in with a lot of expectations but then that was not right. It seemed like any other kebab place with the difference being separate places for vegetarian and non vegetarian kebabs. The vegetarian kebabs were no different in taste to what you get elsewhere tbh. The service was impersonal but quick. You order, eat, pay cash and leave.
Bon A — Google review
It was good. The chicken was tender and tasty. Kebab was bit a oily. Had Chicken Biryani, Chicken Seek Kebab. Kebab was okay, Biryani was tasty. Overall average experience. The hype is not real.
Pratik — Google review
Ambience is OK... Not a very big place to spread your legs. Lots of variety in dishes.. On the expensive side when you take the quantity they serve.. Food is piping hot and served well..

Was coming from Taj towards Colaba road suddenly the aroma of char kababs took me to Bademiya… mutton boti kabab was 5/5 Chicken kabab 4/5 Condiments 5/5 Recommended place ….🤘🏻
Ramit K — Google review
Whilst travelling in India my friend and I frequently visited this place. The most delicious kebabs I've ever tried! Packed with flavours. Wishing this business many years of success. Every time we went it provided us with great service (considering they were very busy) and amazing product. 👌 Will definitely be back some day! 😊👍🏼
A P — Google review
First of all, it’s not a dining, you have to stand on a road and eat Secondary, they hardly have anything to do with the roll, they just put chicken tikka in rumaali Roti with some green Chutney It’s very very basic, and they charge ₹315 for it, which is not at all worth without any dining experience. I went there just because of the hype and it’s not worth it

North Indian restaurant

Fine dining restaurant
Located at 145 M.G. Road, Kala Ghoda, Khyber is a renowned restaurant celebrated for its distinctive northwest frontier cuisine and stylish rustic ambiance. The establishment has received accolades for its authentic dishes from the Northwest Frontier of undivided India (now Pakistan). Its regal Afghan-inspired interiors pay homage to the ancient Silk Road Khyber Pass between central and south Asia.
Every thing was good the good is yum and the service is good to the manger was sweet and pretty her name is preema 💗
Rodah S — Google review
The restaurant has a nice ambiance and the food was okay in taste. However, the service was quite slow and the food was not served hot, which affected the overall experience. With faster service and better attention to food quality, this place could be much better. Hoping to see improvements on my next visi
Mahesh M — Google review
We were back to Khyber after quite a number of years. After hearing mixed reviews regarding the food, we were quite unsure on what to expect, however, with high hopes, we still decided to visit. Started off with their chicken tikka and the masala roomali roti. Didn’t disappoint. The chicken tikka was soft and very well seasoned. It was one of the very few I have had that doesn’t require the squeeze of lime to accentuate the taste. Paired with the roomali it was a started to get us started. Moving on we had the butter naan along with the chicken tikka masala. Another stellar combo. Hot, fluffy naans with perfectly spiced chicken tikka masala with that perfectly caramelised onion flavour, something you should definitely order. Next we moved to the chicken biryani. It’s a light biryani. Not too oily not too heavily reliant on array of spices. Simple yet tasty. Perfect lunch is what I would say. Despite the reviews we managed to enjoy the food to our hearts content
Amol S — Google review
Good ambiance and nice decoration inside. It will give you a feeling of sitting inside a mud building. Food is good and quantity is enough to share with two/three people. We ordered lamb chop and it was so tender and juicy. Meat from the bones are falling apart. Kadahi chicken and nun was good too. I liked the mango carrot pickle, it was so fresh and crunchy. Food price is little higher side but when going with group, it is totally justified. I will recommend to visit this place with friends and family even with kids.
Saonli R — Google review
tried the Chicken Tikka, Chicken Butter, and Chicken Biryani — all were absolutely delicious! The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and everything was cooked perfectly. A great spot for anyone craving authentic Indian food.
Hessa A — Google review
We came here at the recommendation of our taxi driver. Having decided on the vegetarian grilled platter to share We were very pleased with the flavours and the accompanying pickles were wonderful. The garlic naan and dry dhaal and raita for main was delicious also. Staff were attentive and friendly and one happy fellow showed us a photo of him with UK PM Keir Starmer who had dined there earlier in the week before.

Returning after 7 years or so and so glad I did. Service friendly and helpful. Food outstanding (Tandoori Pomfret). You've made a solo traveler incredibly happy. Thank you.

Zaffran is a delightful culinary gem located near Crawford Market, renowned for its authentic Indian cuisine that keeps patrons coming back, even in the wee hours until 4 am. The restaurant offers an array of mouthwatering dishes, including their standout murgh zaffrani tikka and one of Mumbai's finest butter chickens, which features tender chicken marinated in yogurt and spices, enveloped in a rich butter and cream gravy.

Gulshan - E- Iran is a long-standing restaurant known for its traditional and Chinese cuisine served in a simple setting. The food is described as delicious and the service as excellent, with affordable prices. Families can opt to sit upstairs while others can find seating downstairs. A recommended dish is the chicken leg tikka and butter naan, both tasty and budget-friendly. However, it's advised to avoid walking through a smelly meat market when heading there from the train station.
Yummy food and good service. Mutton meat is so tasty. Tip: No card payments or UPI, the restaurant accepts only cash.

Fine Mughlai restaurant in the area. Prices are affordable. Taste is genuine. Situated on hustling streets of Bhindi Bazaar this restaurant is keeping alive the flow of Mughlai cuisine for the commoners. It's a must for nonveg lovers of you are in city or in the nearby area.
Sachin G — Google review
This place at Crawford Market, Mushafir Khana Road, offers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. The taste is average—neither too good nor too bad. Cleanliness could definitely be improved, and the absence of separate toilets for male and female is a drawback. However, it is a popular spot, especially for non-vegetarian food lovers. I would recommend it mainly if you enjoy non-veg dishes and don’t mind the basic facilities. Crowd: 5/5 Food: 3/5 Clean: 2/5 Services: 4/5 Parking: 2.5/5 Cost Friendly: 3/5 Overall: 3/5 (Toilets are not there)

Excellent place to have good food at nominal prices. Service was good. When I ordered 2 rotis, they said they'll bring 1 now and 2nd later as it would be cold by the time I finish the 1st. Nobody cares this much. Ps. I loved the Shahi tukda. Must try.

The staff is very friendly and supporting and they even have great knowledge about the food and they provide great recommendation as well. They have a soft music played in the background which truly sets the mood. The seating area was so comfortable and luxurious. They have a separate bar section, and they have separate seating in the middle, which is the most beautiful interiors I have ever seen. The FOOD was truly delicious, it was not a regular meal experience but an extraordinary meal experience. We had the Set 6 Course Non Veg Meal here which consisted of Soup, Appetizers, Mains, Biryani and Dessert. The classic items I tried here were: SOUP CHILGOZA SANTRA SHORBA : The soup was basically of root vegetables and it was served with malta. APPETIZERS 1) AWADHI MURGH TIKKA/SARSON MAHI TIKKA: This dish has two items in the plate one was Awadhi Murgh Tikka which was Chicken marinated in Awadhi spices cooked in Tandoor and second was Sarson Mahi Tikka which had Fish Tikka marinated in Mustard. 2) CLAY OVEN DUCK WITH AVTAR-E-HALIM : It has roasted Duck served on a bed of Halim. MAIN COURSE NALLI TAR KORMA WITH TAFTAN/DUM KI KABULI DAL : The Royal plate had Lamb kofta with awadhi spices and black lentils dal served with taftan and assorted breads. BIRYANI JHINGA DUM MASALA BIRYANI : It was a royal Prawns Biryani cooked with Lahori Spices. DESSERT MISTHAN ROOH-E-UMMRAO : In dessert we had beetroot ka halwa served with kulfi. It was very delicious and a great way to end the meal. The food was just mind-blowing and the best j have tried. It was truly a very royal experience of visiting this place. I'll surely recommend everyone to try this place out.

Ummrao is on the 1st floor at Courtyard Marriott on the Andheri Kurla road. Two of us went there to celebrate my wife's birthday. We had done prior booking for Sunday evening. We were able to choose our table. Our server Krishna nicely explained the menu options. Since we were not that hungry, we settled for a la carte. We had veg soup Satwar ka Shorba, Murg Barra Kabab and Hyderabadi Murg Dum Biryani. Kababs and chicken from the biryani were succulent and cooked to perfection. Though it was Hyderabadi biryani, it was not spicy for us. At the end we topped it with kulfi. Overall good food. Full marks for the service. Don't forget to check the discount beforehand. Valet parking available.

Had an amazing time here! The Mughlai food was bursting with flavor — the kebabs, curries, and biryani were all top-notch. Great service and cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. Highly recommend to anyone who loves authentic Mughlai cuisine. Definitely a 5-star experience!

The menu is a delightful journey through various cuisines, with a special focus on authentic Indian and a smattering of well-executed Chinese and continental dishes. The chefs clearly take pride in their work, as each dish is prepared with care and an emphasis on fresh, high-quality ingredients. A standout dish to try would be their Butter Chicken, a rich and creamy delight that is an instant classic. The speed of service is commendable, making it a great option even when you're short on time.

Went to Ummrao with my family for lunch to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday and we had the best time. The place looks beautiful and has such a nice vibe. Krishna helped us with food recommendations and everything we tried was delicious. They even surprised us with a dessert for the birthday which was really sweet. The live music during lunch just made the whole experience even more special. Definitely a place I’d go back to!

Nestled within a luxurious hotel, The Sahib Room & Kipling Bar is an elegant dining destination that beautifully marries colonial charm with the rich tapestry of Indian cuisine. This restaurant invites you to embark on a culinary journey through Mughlai flavors, featuring an impressive array of kebabs, tikkas, and other delectable appetizers that promise to tantalize your taste buds.
During our recent visit to Mumbai, we had the pleasure of dining at The Sahib Room located within the luxurious St. Regis Mumbai. Our experience at this upscale restaurant was nothing short of exceptional, and we are thrilled to share our five-star review. The menu, inspired by traditional Indian flavors with a modern twist, offered a remarkable selection of dishes. The food was expertly prepared, showcasing the chef's creativity and expertise. The service at The Sahib Room was outstanding throughout our entire dining experience. The staff was knowledgeable, gracious, and prompt in attending to all our needs. We recommend this incredible restaurant to anyone looking to embark on a culinary adventure in Mumbai.

The sahib room & kipling bar is awesome, Stepped into The Sahib Room & Kipling Bar last Friday and felt like I'd time-traveled to the Raj era—think polished teak panels, ceiling fans lazily stirring the air, and walls adorned with sepia-toned maps of old India. The vibe is effortlessly elegant, perfect for a pre-dinner unwind or a lively catch-up with friends. The drinks? Outstanding. I kicked off with the signature Kipling Martini—gin, vermouth, and a twist of intrigue that hits just right. My companion raved about the spiced mango lassi cocktail, creamy yet punchy. The bar snacks, like crispy papadum with tamarind chutney, were a flawless nibble to tide us over. Service was warm and attentive without being stuffy; our bartender, Raj, even shared a quick tale behind the bar's name (nod to Rudyard, naturally). Prices are fair for the sophistication. If you're craving a sophisticated escape with a literary twist, this is your spot. Can't wait to return!

Visited in April. India. Mumbai. Located at the St. Regis hotel, this restaurant offers classic Indian cuisine. Inside, you'll find a beautiful interior with high ceilings, stylish furniture, and stunning views from the windows. Food: As fans of Indian cuisine, we've always strived to find high-quality and delicious Indian food in other countries, but without success. Finally, we found ourselves in India. The menu is quite extensive, offering plenty of options. We tried the LAAL MIRCH KA LOBSTER, MURADABADI SEEKH KEBAB, and MURGH MAKHANI (butter chicken) . All dishes were prepared superbly. The lobster was incredibly tender inside with a fantastic crust, likely cooked in a tandoori oven. The balance of flavors and spices was perfect, slightly spicy and full of depth, showing mastery in preparation. Next were the grilled lamb cutlets, their texture was unusual, even softer than expected, yet the balance of spices was delightful. For the main course, we had the butter chicken, perfectly cooked chicken, tender and juicy without bones. The sauce had the right creamy consistency, with a slight tomato tang, exactly how we remembered it and fell in love with it. Service: The service was very attentive; the waiter explained all the dishes and even gave us some recommendations on places to visit in Mumbai. We felt well taken care of. Conclusion: An excellent restaurant serving local cuisine. If you appreciate comfort, delicious food, and great service, this restaurant will surely impress you.

Dining at Sahib Room at the St. Regis was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and professionalism of the team made us feel incredibly welcome. Chef Taj’s culinary artistry was outstanding—the flavors, presentation, and attention to detail were nothing short of world-class. The dining room boss Kriti, Ganga and the rest of the team went above and beyond to provide impeccable service, ensuring that every part of our evening was seamless and memorable. We also came back for lunch! This was not just a meal, but a complete experience that beautifully combined exceptional food, elegant ambiance, and heartfelt hospitality. Thank you to Chef Taj, Kriti, and the entire team for making our visit so special—I look forward to returning again soon!

Stayed at St. Regis for 5 days and celebrated my husband's 50th in this restaurant. Amazing food, staff and atmosphere. Chef Taj was exceptional in taking care of our daughter's allergies and specially made her a couple of dishes. Staff was so apologetic about the delay as they had to make the dishes from scratch due to her allergies but it was hardly a delay as we were enjoying our drinks:). We will be back for sure. Thank you for making memories with us as we relive the wonderful treatment back home in the US.

The Sahib Room & Kipling bar Restaurant at St. Regis Mumbai has some delicious Mughlai food for Mughlai cuisine lovers. The restaurant's theme is inspired by the Mowgli story. The staff took us on a culinary safari and they are called by the Mowgli characters. We were served by Cheel and Mowgli. Cheel, the beautiful lady served us delicious dishes like Dhungari Gosht ki Gilawat, Sahib ki Nihari with Khameeri Kulcha and Gosht Biryani. I loved all the dishes as they all had great taste and stood out as unique even if you have one after the other. None of the dishes overpowered the taste. Let’s talk decor, the decor is meant to feel like you are on a jungle safari sitting under the tents. Just that this is sophisticated and has AC and an amazing look to it. Kids loved watching chefs at work through the glass window to the kitchen. The restaurant has dishes for everyone. Kids also loved their kebabs and desserts. Every dish here had an interesting story and Cheel(Kirti) told us the story very passionately. Mowgli (Pranay)the bartender served us delightful drinks. He is a true pleaser. You just have to talk to him and he will figure out the best drink for your mood.

Sahib Room serves the best North Indian Awadhi cuisine in Mumbai. Himanshu is one of the sweetest guys and took great care of us. Non vegetarian restaurant
Bagdadi Restaurant, located in Colaba, is a long-standing establishment that has been serving delicious Persian cuisine for over 125 years. Despite its simple decor, this non-vegetarian eatery is renowned for its flavorful Mughlai dishes and perfectly cooked tandoori specialties such as Shami kebabs and tangdi kebabs.
I’ve been coming to Bagdadi Restaurant in Colaba since 2011, and it’s still one of my favorite places to eat. The food is always tasty, filling, and full of flavor. This time, we ordered Chicken Fry, Chicken Pattice, the day’s special in chicken and mutton, and of course, their big, soft rotis that everyone talks about. Everything was cooked really well and had that classic, homely taste. We ended the meal with their caramel custard – smooth, light, and just sweet enough. If you enjoy simple, no-fuss food that tastes amazing, Bagdadi is a must-visit. Great place, great food, and so many good memories over the years!

One of the legendary restaurants in town, sitting in the shadow of Bademiyan, but the food wise is definitely a good competition and also value for your money. The place offers a sharing table concept given the crowds that come here for meals. I have met people who stay in the Taj hotel but have come here to this restaurant for lunch. The fried chicken is the most hot selling food on the menu, it comes with a nice fried piece of potato. I also love the tandoori rotis here definitely something you have to try for sure. Mind you the size of the roti is quite big so be mindful while ordering. Beef chill is another recommendation from the menu. This time we tried the beef bhunna and bheja masala and it was delicious. The beef was slightly chewy but the gravy was good. Overall a good place to visit and very pocket friendly.

One of the legendary Halal restaurants in town, definitely value for money, but food-wise not that great. The fried chicken is their most popular dish, but I felt it lacked salt. On the other hand, the Mutton Nihari is a must-try. We really enjoyed it. Coming from Kerala, where biryani is everything, I found their chicken biryani highly overrated and quite disappointing. (Maybe this is how Mumbaikars enjoy biryani, because the person who recommended this place loves it, but I felt the opposite.) Overall, it’s a good place to visit and very pocket-friendly, but don’t expect outstanding taste in the food.
Nihal M — Google review
We loved Bagdadi and have been coming here for years now. Went yesterday after a while and their food still is damn good. They have renovated the space so it also looks much cleaner than it used to be. The chicken chilli was a lovely flavourful gravy but the mutton dabba gosht was the hero of the night. It's SO tasty, pairs perfectly with their naan. But it's only available on holiday special days apparantly so I keep that in mind. I tried the chicken boti kebabs but it was too dry. The caramel custard was nice though. Can't wait to go back here again.
Anish K — Google review
It's amazing how much this restaurant has changed since I was last here over a decade ago. The new renovation is so clean and tidy, but the old-school charm of the wooden menu is still there. The food is nice. Chicken Fry Masala was one of the best dishes I've had. I was so pleased that I brought a friend with me the very next day. Unfortunately, the second visit was a different story. The food was still great, but a server requested a tip while we were still eating, which completely ruined the experience. It's a shame that a single server's actions detracted from an otherwise perfect dining experience.

Freshly made rotis ,Nan hot made with butter and ghee , Mutton are fresh, look like slowly cooked great in taste, share some time with my friend bit calm and quite place with some sweet deserts
Shamseer_c — Google review
One of the legendary restaurants in Mumbai but sadly it has lost its charm. After so many years I got an opportunity to visit this place and it was such a disappointing experience. We have ordered chicken boneless biryani which was dry and out of five chicken pieces two pieces were undercooked as they were hard and very chewy. When we told this to the waiter he started giving us free ka Gyaan, that Ye aese Hi hota he aapko shayad se nahi pata and all. Sad to have this experience and that too came out from one of the famous restaurants.
Aniket A — Google review
Review (August 2025): We visited as a group of six and tried a variety of dishes, including Chicken Biryani, Mutton Biryani, Jeera Rice, Chicken Fried Rice, Buffalo Fry, Buffalo Masala, Butter Roti, and Chicken Fry with and without Masala. The biryanis were a bit disappointing, as they were essentially basmati rice mixed with curry rather than authentic biryani. Jeera rice was decent, while the chicken fried rice turned out quite good. Portion sizes were generous across most dishes, but the taste overall was average. The highlight of our meal was definitely the buffalo dishes, which were flavorful and well-prepared. One downside was the washroom arrangement—the bathroom is located outside the restaurant, kept locked, and requires getting a key from reception. It’s also situated uncomfortably close to the kitchen. Overall, a mixed experience: buffalo items are worth trying, but other dishes were just okay.

Koyla - Ethnic Cuisine is a stylish rooftop restaurant located in the heart of Colaba, Mumbai. It offers a mellow and intimate ambiance with scenic sea views. The menu features North Indian and Mughlai-inspired cuisine, known for its delicious flavors. The restaurant also boasts a sheesha bar with fruity flavors like green apple and strawberry. Guests can enjoy the panoramic views of Colaba streets while savoring their meals or relaxing over mocktails in the leisurely ambience.
One of the best restaurant in Mumbai! Vibe, ambience, lighting, decoration, food, mocktail drinks all are just on the point. Place is really clean. Food takes long time to come, so I would highly suggest you order main course along with your starter(s).

Located in one of the best localities and very close to Gateway of India, this restaurant is roof top themed with Mesmerizing views. The atmosphere and views are absolutely 5 star. Service is a bit slow and can be improved. We tried Chicken Platter which was served sizzled. Do also give a try to stuffed paneer papad roll. Food taste is good but there is scope of further improvement in the taste. That's the reason for 4 star. Otherwise a unique experience in the heart of Mumbai worth trying for!!

Gotta say one of the best places in Mumbai for dinner. The rooftop view with exquisite mumbai spcl cuisine makes it the go to spot if you ever visit mumbai. We ordered a couple of dishes with starters as mutton kebab and omg the juicy flavour was something I've never had before. With the main course we ordered Rumali roti with chicken sizzler and cheesy chicken. Would give it about 8.5/10 For dessert we had the matki rabdi. It was sweet af and if you are dining with 4 i would say order one cuz the quantity is pretty big. The ambience and food was top notch but what they had ruined the entire experience was customer service. The waiter was so rude.....talking back and getting angry at us just bcz we took a few extra minutes to order and for asking about specific dishes. Would be great if you could improve the customer service.

Came here 1st time after reading reviews. Made a mistake. U got to wait for 15min for the lift which can take only 3 people and then u gotta walk up a narrow rounding staircase for 2 floors. And though the tables were empty, and we got seated, the attendant Arif removed the menu from the table and made us stand up and walk away saying they are fully booked. Never going to be back again.

One of the best roof top experience. Open only after 7pm. The food was good, the service was also good. The ambience was good too. A better music collection would have been better however it was ok. With so much fame and reputation over the years . They really disappointed us. With poor quality and standard of chicken they serve. Ordered Platter worth rupees 835. But it was such a surprise. Came with14 pics chicken tikka pics. Not at all worth it .Chicken pic was not more than 50.grms small pic with no proper marination and wow factor was missing. It hardly came in salad plate that's it. It was not sufficient for 3 people. So ordered. Tandoori chicken which was again big bundler. FOR half Tandoori chicken charging 355. But y are you serving polio chicken with no mass in it only bone to it. HAVE eaten best Tandoori than this .I really wonder what is the hype about . Poor standard of meat .and quality plus zero customer satisfaction. Yes but mutton briyani is wort trying. Tender juicy mutton. And proper marination and authentic Dum briyani . Must try

So I took away my Chicken Biryani at 12:30am, but later at home when I served it. It was having Mutton pieces in it, so I'm assuming they mixed both biryanis being the last batch of the day and gave it to me as single portion. Very bad first experience.

⭐ 1 Star Disgusting Experience : Unsafe Food & Rude Staff Absolutely horrifying experience at this place. Found a dead insect in the food and yes, an actual insect! When I raised this with the staff, instead of taking responsibility, the shift manager had the audacity to argue and justify it. No apology, no action, just pure arrogance. For such a big name in the industry, this is pathetic and unacceptable. Zero hygiene. Zero accountability. Customers’ health clearly means nothing to them. Food Safety Authority of India must take strict action against such careless and dangerous practices. Think twice before eating here. Your health is at risk!

Noor Mohammadi Hotel & Restaurant, located on South Mumbai's iconic Mohammad Ali Road, is a renowned establishment known for its delectable kebab platter and the famous Chicken Sanju Baba, popularized by Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt. The restaurant also offers a variety of dishes such as Paya, Bheja Fry, and Chicken Hakimi.
Noor Mohammadi Restaurant offers fantastic food with top notch quality. The taste is truly delightful and the portion size and preparation reflect their high standards. It's one of those places that leaves a lasting impression on your taste buds highly recommended for food lovers. However please note that the restaurant is located in a very crowded area so finding car parking is nearly impossible. It's best to reach the place on foot or by using public transport. Also due to its popularity the waiting time can range from 30 minutes to 1 hour especially during peak hours. Still the amazing food and quality make it worth the wait.

Not worth the hype. Though people say it’s famous but we found it very unhygienic. Photo of walls inside attached, you can see the gunk on walls and decoration. The washroom is in worst condition & smells bad. It can easily make you vomit. When their basic hygiene is worst, how can you expect them to have a clean kitchen & food hygiene?? Speaking of which, the dishes we ordered were loaded with oil and butter, - cholesterol packed - photos attached. We had to drain extra oil & grease before eating. Chicken was hard and not fully cooked also. Rabadi sweet was average too served with plastic spoons. This restaurant is always full of people, I wonder how the owners and staff don’t attend to their basic & food hygiene. Pls don’t go to this place if you care about your health.

Visited Noor Mohammadi Hotel with high expectations, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype. The ambiance was just average, and the staff seemed unfriendly. The food quality was mediocre, and what really disappointed me was the serving of beef in India, which doesn't align with local sentiments. Considering the hype around this place, I felt it was a complete waste of time. Maybe they need to work on their service, food, and overall experience. Not recommended.

First ate here ~6 years ago. Was amazing then, one of the best restaurants in India I'd ever been to. Have been back every year or two since and the quality has dropped to almost nothing now. I'd love to see someone take the original recipes and execute them somewhere else but with quality ingredients and proper care. tl;dr: not what it used to be.

I recently visited Noor Mohammad Hotel after hearing a lot of hype, but honestly, it was a huge disappointment. I ordered Chicken Sanjubaba and Mutton Nihari — both dishes were tasteless and full of oil. There was no real flavor in the gravy; it felt more like spiced oil than a proper curry. I really regret going there. Definitely not worth the hype or the price. Would not recommend

Mirchi & Mime - there is so much to write about this beautiful place known for many unique stuff, which is in addition to some of the best in food. Me and my entire family is fan of this place that is also known for training and employing deaf 🧏 🧏‍♀️ personnel, highly proficient in sign language. Team is extremely well trained and hospitable to the core. They can develop a communication channel and a bond much faster than even someone with voice and rich vocabulary. Met two wonderful gentlemen Hasan & Nandan (both 5 🌟) who were catering to us. I won’t mind visiting the place again just to converse with them. The restaurant gifts you a small carry home card that lists various gestures & their meaning. For food. You just can’t miss Mirchi & Mime. Their menu is extremely rich and as always, this time too, we went for set menu to ensure we can try maximum from menu. While food served is 10/10 and preparation very unique; their presentation is also their high point. Simply loved 🥰 it !! Try their kebabs, fish preparations, desserts and much much more. One will require many visits to taste little something from their expansive menu. Did I miss mentioning desserts, try Sitaphal Pina Cota; absolutely delicious. Restaurant is designed very well and offers a bright spacious look. They have a rich bar serving cocktails and other beverages. Give in to the foodie in you and head to Mirchi & Mime, thank me later 🥘🍸🍚 Note for Management- Your set menus could be tweaked a bit to combine Non Veg & Seafood specialities into one. May be add that as 4th option on your list.

The restaurant employs deaf and mute individuals as waiters, providing them with a unique opportunity for employment. To facilitate communication, the menu includes a set of signs that you can use to place your order. I was thoroughly impressed by this initiative and applaud the restaurant for its efforts. Now, onto the food! We began with the Bangla Paneer Tikka, which looked stunning but unfortunately fell short in terms of taste. We couldn't finish it, which was disappointing. However, the Dori Kebab more than made up for it. Essentially a seekh kebab wrapped around a dori, it was incredibly juicy and flavorful. For our main course, we opted for the Veg Tahiri Biryani, which was good but not quite what I'd call a biryani. The Thalapakati Mutton Biryani, on the other hand, was outstanding. The mutton was surprisingly boneless and of exceptional quality and quantity. The sides they provided with the Mutton Biryani were truly exceptional. The fried chips in curd were absolutely divine - I couldn't get enough of them! What impressed me even more was the thoughtful service. The staff noticed how much I enjoyed the sides and offered me a second serving without me even having to ask. It's little touches like these that make a dining experience truly memorable. As the afternoon wore on, the restaurant filled up, even on a weekday. While Mirchi and Mime is certainly on the pricier side, the unique experience and delicious food make it well worth a visit.

Mirchi & Mime located in Powai has food to die for! First off, the concept of the restaurant itself is very pure. This place has deaf and mute waiters and people are given menus with Sign language to communicate. This helps generate more inclusive employment opportunities and they've earned a star from me for that (not that they needed it, it was 5 stars for the food already). Secondly, this place has undeniably amazing food. I went here for dinner with my family. We got Waterchestnut and Corn Tikki for starters and Paneer Jugalbandi, Smoked Dal and Breads for the main course. The starter (Waterchestnut and Corn Tikki) was hands down one of the best things I've tasted till now! After that, Paneer Jugalbandi had a really interesting combination of white and orange gravy that went very well together. You'll love the concept of this place and the food.

Excellent service: The staff is attentive and friendly. They are also very skilled at communicating with customers through sign language. Warm and welcoming atmosphere: The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere. It is a great place to relax and enjoy a meal with friends or family. Here are some additional things to keep in mind: The restaurant is popular, so it is a good idea to make a reservation in advance. The food is slightly expensive. The restaurant is closed on Mondays. I do not recommend chicken lollipops, not worth to even try. Amristari fish tikka is my favourite.

First time when a restaurant has positive vibes. A good food and people who are deaf and dumb are seen earning with ease. It was pleasure seeing their comic timing at many instances.

This place is a must-visit. The staff are speech and hearing impaired, providing a unique and enriching experience. The food quality is exceptional. It's a completely new experience, and everyone is sure to enjoy it. Since it often gets crowded, it's advisable to book your seats in advance to avoid waiting. Outdoor seating is also available. The staff here is well trained and so good. They also give you a sign card to take along.

This is one of the go to restaurant for our household for years. They run a restaurant with great food along with a social cause. All their waiters are speech challenged thus all the orders are taken by sing language. However if the patron struggles then there are staff who come to speak and assist. An ex colleague suddenly called and we decided to meet here. He ordered 2 gin and tonic and 1 starter each. I ordered a grilled prawns and my vegetarian friend ordered Mushroom Galouti. Both the dishes were well made and very tasty and we were quite happy. Additionally the music is low so it’s a great place for a conversation.
Indradeep R — Google review
The USP of the place is employment of differently abled persons in the restaurant . It has an extensive menu and runs two covers 7 pm and 9.30 pm for dinner . The food is decent ,nothing outstanding or perhapss since we ordered only vegetarian fare. The prices are on the higher side. The severs are the most affectionate people. our starter Veg platter took 40 mins to come on the table. we ordered green nilgiri curry and methi paneer koftas with Tandoori roti's. Hassan looker after us very well . The portions are small and food a bit overpriced. Quite noisy and difficult to have a conversation .

Kangan is on the 18th floor and has a stunning view of the expressway. Not just that, the ambiance is cozy, candle lit, warm and elegant. The food here is outstanding. If you love Mughlai and North Indian, then you must visit them. They have recently launched a new menu and the dishes are excellent. We tried the set menu which had Tamatar Tulsi Shorba Appetizer platter which had Bhune Masaley Ka Paneer Tikka, Tohfa-e-Zamin, Bhatti Ke Badami Aloo and Moong Dal Bhari Tikki. Everything was delicious. Our favourite was the paneer. For Mains we had Kangan Masaley Ka Paneer, Diwani Handi, Purvanchal Ka Saag, Lucknowi Dum Aloo, Dal Kangan and Lucknowi Subz Dum Biryani. We loved the dum aloo, saag, dal, biryani and everything else. Dessert was gulab jamun and kulfi.. so good! Besides this we tried the paneer lababdaar and whole-wheat Rumali..it was fantastic. Overall a fantastic meal and definitely going back to try the new menu.

Ziya Restaurant is an opulent dining room located in the Oberoi Hotel, offering panoramic views and a menu featuring classic and innovative Indian dishes. Helmed by two-Michelin-starred Chef Vineet Bhatia, this signature restaurant combines international ingredients with traditional Indian recipes to create bold flavors with a modern twist.
Had a 5 star experience at Ziya! Ambience: very calm, tranquil ambience. The window offers a beautiful view of the sea and the queens necklace. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Food : superb food in all aspects whether it's modern - fusion food or good ol classic butter chicken! Would recommend the pumpkin barley soup, the smoked dal makhani, butter chicken, and palak samosa. Service: best in class service. Ms. Maria was very helpful from the beginning in prompt response to the booking and helping us out with the set menu options. Mr. Siddharth and Ms. Chari were top notch in their service. Paying attention to all our needs they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we wanted. Value for money: The portion size is relatively smaller compared to the pricing, but the main course is quite sufficient. The overall experience was definitely worth paying for. Pro tips : 1. go at sharp 7.00 pm when the restaurant opens if you want the best table with the view as these are limited. 2. We had a party of 5, so opted for the set menu option which allows you to plan in advance exactly what the pricing is going to be like. They have 3 different types of set menus along with Al carte. 3. Definitely recommend booking a table in advance. Thank you Ziya for such a wonderful dining experience.

A special thanks to Sanket, the manager, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect and that we had a memorable evening. The traditional Indian cuisine was absolutely delicious rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and a true celebration of authentic tastes. To top it all off, they surprised us with a special complimentary dessert, which was a lovely gesture and made the experience even more special. I highly recommend everyone to visit and enjoy not only the incredible food but also the warm and professional service that makes Ziya truly stand out. Dhaba
Pritam Da Dhaba is a humble roadside eatery that serves a variety of North Indian and local dishes without much emphasis on its ambiance. Located in Dadar, it offers an authentic Punjabi dining experience with seating for up to 200 people. Guests can relax on traditional charpoys under the open sky while indulging in popular dishes like Sarson da Saag and Makki di Roti.
Nestled in the vibrant heart of the city, this restaurant is a true gem that seamlessly blends heritage with modern comfort. Having stood the test of time, it is one of the city's oldest culinary establishments, carrying with it decades of rich history and character. Despite its age, the restaurant is immaculately maintained. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted by an atmosphere that is both warm and inviting, showcasing a perfect balance between tradition and tasteful upgrades. The interiors reflect a charming mix of old-world architecture and subtle contemporary touches that make the space feel both nostalgic and stylish. The food here is a standout feature and truly speaks for itself. Each dish is crafted with care, bringing out authentic flavors that are both comforting and delicious. Whether you’re indulging in their signature offerings or exploring seasonal specials, the quality and taste remain consistently impressive. The menu offers a wide variety of options catering to different palates, making it a perfect spot for both casual diners and food connoisseurs alike. Beyond the food, the overall ambiance adds to its appeal. The place is always buzzing with energy, making it a popular hangout spot for locals and tourists alike. Whether it’s a casual lunch, a lively dinner gathering, or even a special occasion, the lively yet relaxed vibe enhances the dining experience. What truly rounds off the experience, however, is the excellent service. The staff is courteous, attentive, and always eager to ensure that guests have a pleasant time. They are knowledgeable about the menu and are happy to provide recommendations or accommodate special requests. In every sense, this restaurant is more than just a place to eat—it’s a destination that offers a slice of the city’s history, a taste of delicious cuisine, and a setting that invites you to stay a little longer.

We visited Pritam Da Dhaba on Christmas Day 2024 restaurant located at Dadar East, Ambience was cozy dhaba style with desi cots placed. This restaurant is famous for Punjabi style dishes. Blue Berry Mocktail was served chilled but presented in very regular glass. We had ordered Chicken Tikka as a starter , chicken was soft but not juicy it was breast chicken instead of leg chicken pieces. Mutton Gravy's taste was not up to the mark. There were 4 small pieces of Lamb which were soft but the gravy was very disappointing. Garlic Naan was okay. Onion was cut and served in dhaba style The starter plate was also not cleared even 10 min later after finishing the starter. The main course landed on our table and we had to inform the waiter to change the plate , by the time plate was replaced gravy and curry and garlic Naan had become cold Service needs improvement. Valet Parking is available , though Parking space is limited.

Today, after an important work in BKC was over, we took a ride to Dadar. The plan was to return to Pune by MSRTC Volvo bus, my favourite if not my Chevy and trusted driver. Preetam Da Dhaba was a restaurant on my radar since 1985. I used to walk by from the then Dadar Asiad bus stop to Dadar Railway Station and always wondered about the restaurant. Heard a lot about it, and with its rich legacy, I wanted to visit. It took me 40 years to be there and experience the truly great Punjabi food. Today was the day. We were, incidentally, the first customers, bang at 12 noon. And a captain received us well and made us comfortable with a nice seating right in the middle. We glanced at the menu, asked for some recommendations, and ordered half Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Rahara, Butter Naan, and Paratha. It took a while, almost more than half an hour, which in normal circumstances would have been an inordinate delay. But today we knew the Tandoor preparation needs time, and we arrived dot at the opening bell. First, Tandoori Chicken arrived. Just two portions, a complete leg and a breast. One look and I knew that would be something extraordinary, and it lived up to my expectations. Perfectly marinated and roasted chicken in Tandoori Bhatti, green chutney, and finely chopped onion juliennes. Chicken was extremely well-cooked. The outer edge was crispy, charcoaly near the bones, but the good bit of the portion was tandoored so well. I deliberately took a fork and pulled out one forkful of chicken. That was ethereal! Succulent chicken, good bite, and nice quality in every morsel. Not at all rubbery or chewy, the marination reached deep and coal heated it well. After a long time, I had great Tandoori Chicken. When the chicken is good, the accompaniments like mint chutney or tandoor salad onions play second fiddle as they should. They must play their part without overshadowing the main dish. Today we witnessed the same. After a few forkfuls, I tried hard for some time but soon kept the silverware, figuratively, aside and used my fingers to polish off the chicken. Chicken Rahara was well-cooked chicken, gravy made of medium spice with, again, chicken kheema, minced meat, little juliennes of green bell pepper, heavily used onions, and their own spices. Not very discerning to me, but it was good. A little sourness, I would attribute to curd. I have this perpetual fear of something smelling and tasting sour, might have really gone sour. But sometimes curd, sometimes tamarind fools you. The best is to ask the captain, who confirms from the chef and reverts about the edibility. Rarely, they take it back too if they agree with my judgement. Paratha was fantastic. This has become a staple for me with Punjabi dishes. First, it’s wheat flour and secondly, the complex multi-layered paratha comes like an enigma. Every layer has a story to tell with every dish, gravy, chutney, or pickle. Captain and waiters were extremely courteous and responsive. In fact, for the first time in my life, I saw that whenever I raised my hand, someone came up in a jiffy and got me whatever I required. Three to four guys turned up. That's superb service. The restaurant has a rich legacy, and the food lives up to the extravaganza of someone of the stature of Raj Kapoor, who inaugurated the restaurant way back in the middle of the last century.

Had a pleasant dining experience overall — the food was moderately good, both in taste and portion size, and the service staff were polite and attentive without being overbearing. That said, a couple of things took me by surprise. I was carrying a compact cabin bag (think: smaller than some handbags!), but was politely told it wasn’t allowed inside — apparently a part of restaurant policy. A bit unusual, but fair enough. What felt less reasonable, though, was being charged ₹130 for a ₹60 Bisleri Vedica bottle. At that rate, I briefly considered bottling my own water and starting a side hustle! All in all, a decent spot with room for a few tweaks.
Chandan S — Google review
The vibes of the place were too good. The staff was polite and very courteous. However, when it comes to the food honestly speaking, it was disappointing. While not only the portions were too less but also the taste was too bad. Prawns were stale and rumali rotis were very hard. Much to my surprise I later found that rumali roti are pre made and just heated and served, so that was an unexpected one! Overall, for the food I will give a 3/5. For service 4/5 and atmosphere 5/5. Do not recommend it to anyone, however, the concept especially in the heart of the city is a rare one.

Though I didn’t dine at this restaurant, I had an unexpectedly wonderful experience that truly deserves recognition. 🙏 My mother and fiancée needed to use the restroom, so we approached the reception. The gentleman at the desk, who I believe was from Dehradun – definitely someone from the hills (Pahadi, as we say) – showed such warmth and hospitality. 🌄 Not only did he politely allow us access, but he personally guided us to a clean and well-maintained washroom at the back of the restaurant. 🚻✨ What truly touched us was the respectful and courteous way he treated us, despite knowing we weren’t customers at the moment. To our surprise, he even offered us water with a smile – a rare gesture these days. 💧😊 This speaks volumes about the place’s values and service standards. The ambiance was neat, the staff incredibly respectful, and the hospitality unmatched. 🌟 I wholeheartedly recommend this place to everyone – not just for food, but for the kind of human touch and respect that truly defines great service. 👏❤️”

Too expensive as per food quality and quantity. 1) Tandoori roti which is normal is cost you about 105 rps . 2) Drinking Water bottle which is basic need in food was charged you 130 rps. 3) Chinese quality is very poor , as they tast of Chinese is too salty after giving complaint they didn't return it and said sir in a next order we will improve it and bring . 4) where as rota was good and started . Total cost me around 12887/- But not worthy Where as talking about place give you 3 star out of 5 .

I went there for a Family Dinner. We took the table in the open area near parking. Food was great and the service was quiet fast. The best thing about this place was that they served food in steel utensils. This is the best thing that I loved about this place. I did not like the ambience as much, but that is my personal view. Ample to space for parking and sitting. Washrooms were clean too.

Visited Daraz Dhaba for a friend’s birthday and had a great experience. The place has a classic dhaba-style ambience with a touch of North Indian flair, and they also serve alcohol. We kicked things off with drinks — my friend had a fruit punch which was okay, but I absolutely loved their Lassi, served in a large steel glass — thick, refreshing, and truly authentic. For starters, the prawns Koliwada were flavorful, and the mutton chops were juicy and tender. In mains, we tried Chicken Patiala (where chicken was rolled in an omelette) and Murg Makhani — both dishes were rich and delicious. Paired with soft butter naan, it made for a perfect combo. The service was quick and the staff was courteous. Definitely a nice place to enjoy a hearty North Indian meal with friends.

Food quality here is superb, specially punjabi food. I went here 2-3 times mostly with family and always sat in Ac section on 1st floor but there are 2 more options in non ac section that is one in open garden and other with sheds where there is traditional seating. At the entrance there are many games for the kids too. Overall a very good experience.

Visited Dara's Dhaba recently and tried their Khichiya Papad, Butter Chicken, and the Non-Veg Platter. While the quality of the ingredients remains consistent, I couldn't help but notice that the taste has changed compared to previous visits. The flavors that once stood out now feel a bit muted, especially in the Butter Chicken, which used to be a highlight. The Khichiya Papad was crispy and enjoyable, and the Non-Veg Platter was decent, but it lacked the wow factor it once had. The service was prompt, and the ambiance is still cozy, but I hope the kitchen can bring back the original magic in their dishes. Overall, a decent experience, but I miss the old taste that made this place special. Hoping for a comeback soon!

Nice cozy place to have Maharashtrian, Goanand South Indian Cuisine. However there was only 1 guy to take an order during the lunch time. Food was being served very late. The guy taking orders was kind of arrogant and biased. He was attending English speaking guests very well and I felt he was least interested in speaking with customers speaking in local languages. Also they charge a 10% service charge and when asked to remove it, the guy told me to pay in cash then only he'll remove the service charge. Otherwise if you're paying from different platforms like Swiggy or Zomato then service charge is mandatory. I did not argue as I had to leave early. The owner of the restaurant is ex bureaucrat but still doing service charge malpractices openly.

Loved the ambience it takes you back in time. Think of a dish from Maharashtra Goa or Karnataka you can have it all. They even hold few prestigious awards. Must visit for a great experience.

I didn't like it. Others may like it because it is different. The atmosphere and menu is unique. When we entered, we wanted to sit inside maharashtra section but the waiters staff there tried to convince us to sit outside. The menu took so long to arrive. Atmosphere is uniquely crafted but it feels too dark. The menu is obviously overpriced, yes, food items have unique taste unlike punjabi hotel gravies that are same for every subji. The staff was awkwardly polite.

North Indian restaurant
Bar
Dhaba
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Mumbai, Chenab is a delightful rooftop dhaba that brings the flavors of India's Northwestern Frontier to life. With its casual yet charming decor inspired by traditional dhabas—think colorful fabrics and cozy divan seating—this eatery offers an inviting atmosphere complemented by stunning sea views. The menu features a tantalizing array of dishes, including Dal Bukhara and Hazarah Tikka, perfect for both non-vegetarians and vegetarians alike.
If you’re craving authentic North Indian flavors with a rustic Punjabi vibe, Chenab is a great spot to check out. The makki di roti and sarson da saag combo hits the traditional note perfectly. The food is served hot on steel thalis, adding to the desi charm. The side pickle, onion salad, and white butter (in a cute clay pot!) were thoughtful touches that enhanced the meal. The ambiance is vibrant and colorful, with a village-style aesthetic that makes the experience even more enjoyable.

Vibe is good. But there are insects flying about. Service is good. Dishes do not justify the price. We tasted a few varieties of chicken tandoori and veg tandoori, also the main course. All I can say is, it wasn't BAD. It was meh. Not something flavourful. Pretty bland food. Even the pudina chutney was bland. The mojito was also, slightly on the bland side.
Vishal S — Google review
The worst part of this experience was that the owner was sitting on the table next to us and was inspecting the cleanliness of the table. He then proceeded to ask a waiter to come run down that table because he was not happy with how it was cleaned. He was at it for at least 10 mins. For a guest to see that is not enjoyable. This could have been done before or after the service. The food was not up to the standards too. We ordered the chicken dum kebab which came with cheese and a bunch of cabbage in a dum. Did not really understand that combination. The biriyani too wasn't too great. We ordered a pomfret fry which we expected to come as a whole fish but they cut it up and served it. We wouldn't even know if the whole fish was served or not. Overall, a bad experience in all departments.

If you like to have a roof top experience with nice view and ambience added with good non-veg food. This is the place. The veg options were also plenty with good tandoor options. Seating is on traditional khaats which could be maintained in terms of cleanliness. Would recommend to go with family and friends and especially if u are non-veg lover. Only cons currently you need to take two floors of stairs and parking on the street (valet).
Srinivas S — Google review
it took 50 mins to bring a main course which was bland , took 20 mins to bring roti , biryani was salt less , would give 0 stars but can not on google , starters were decent
Pranay J — Google review
Terribly incompetent staff. I asked for a mutton rogan josh. This is what's on the menu. 'Lamb bone manchow, cooked in traditional North West ficaber juicy gravy.' As senseless as the table serving, which included 4-5 huge garlic pods, the fibres of which prove very difficult to deal with. Also, I am quite convinced they doled out what was left at the bottom of the pot -- the gravy was thick and bitter -- a sign of excessive spicing -- and the meat pieces were modest or missing. This is literally the portion kept for the service people. To be served this is extremely disrespectful. Then, one finds bone chips -- Chefs (if any chefs bother to read this) kindly ask your butchers to slice meat with bone, not chop/smash it. The quality was what one could expect from a roadside cart. Miserable pieces, EXTREMELY disappointing. Plus points are the pickle, the interior decor, the view and the open style, with seating on charpais, however once one is eating unsatisfactory food, nothing seems to make sense. All this at a premium price. Never again.
Albert B — Google review
It's on the second floor, so it's a pain for older folks or anyone with mobility issues to get to the restaurant, since there's no elevator. The place is nice, with a village vibe and how the tables are set up. The food's good, especially the shorbas, kebabs, and tandoori stuff. Service is a bit slow, but the staff are friendly. It's a little pricey. They have valet parking.

Mughlai restaurant
Olympia Coffee House is a local favorite in Colaba, Mumbai, offering an authentic Indian breakfast experience. Established in 1918, this old-style Irani cafe serves up traditional non-vegetarian dishes such as masala kheema and keema pav alongside well-brewed milk tea and coffee. Despite its predominantly male clientele, female visitors are welcomed by friendly and courteous staff. The cafe has retained much of its original ambiance while taking on a more contemporary approach.
Affordable restaurant near Gateway of India. We tried mutton, chicken and chicken liver masala with chappathi and rice. The food is of good taste and decent quantity. They do accept only cash payments.

I have visited this 100 year old restaurant several times. But this time, it was turned out to be a total disaster. Most of the dishes were uniformly bland, devoid of salt or any flavour. Stick to the breakfast schedule if you are visiting this restaurant. Otherwise simply avoid.
Anoop K — Google review
Visited this restaurant a few days ago and had a pretty good experience overall. The place is located in a prime area, so naturally, there’s a good amount of crowd and demand. The pricing is average—neither too high nor too cheap—and the quality of food matches well with the price. It’s not over-the-top fancy, but definitely a decent place for a casual meal. If you're looking for a simple, well-priced option in a busy area, this place is worth a visit!

Good place to try moghalai food.... one of the legendary places at Colaba serving Moghalai dishes.... we tried the bheja masala and kheemaaa with butter parathaa followed with Mutton biryani and icecream falooda... Expect little waiting time... good quick service and helpful staff...

A true Bombay breakfast spot! Olympia is a cash-only restaurant (GST 😉, bill also don't contain GST no) but totally worth it. The keema items were delicious, and the real highlight for us was the bun maska(MUST TRY) We first ordered one, loved it so much that we kept reordering—ended up with seven in total! At one point the waiter wasn’t too pleased since he was losing count and asked us to order all at once 😂. The taste was unmatched—we even tried the same dish at a nearby restaurant later in the evening, but it just couldn’t compare to Olympia’s version. Definitely a must-visit for authentic, tasty Bombay breakfast classics.
Amjith K — Google review
I have been visiting Olympia since over 15 years! It has become a no brainer breakfast spot for me and my friends when we decide to do morning visits to town. Kheema pao is popular choice, but I prefer their kheema fry with a side of roti. If you're visiting for lunch you can opt for a mutton masala fry or chicken masala fry. The food is simple, I wouldn't say it is out of this world, but it's much better value for money than so many other restaurants in the area. I would peg this as a decent budget eatery.
Ishita M — Google review
After a long and tiring shopping session at and near Mhd Ali Road, I paid a premium to a taxi to get to this familiar place. I was promptly seated with some strangers at a shared table, as is the custom here. The strangers left while my order was brought; two more strangers joined the table — one, a foreigner, unable to figure out the menu and wasn’t helped; the other disappointed that the bun maska wasn’t in-house, ruing the lack of authenticity and complaining about why they should have something a roadside tapri would serve. I enjoyed my meal — shami kebab with butter paratha — but before my bill was brought, I was subjected to a cross-selling attempt for some cheap perfumes. I left disappointed at the loss of authenticity, but at least I can return to have some good food again.
Arbaz A — Google review
The upper deck is an AC room and is quite spacious. The food is simply fantastic. I've visited the place multiple times at this point. The chicken masala fry and fish fry are amazing, to say the least. Biryani or Biryani Rice with some chicken gravy and a fry item will leave your taste buds wanting more. Sadly, the stomach has its capacity 😅

Buffet restaurant
Indian restaurant
Copper Chimney is a renowned North Indian restaurant chain that offers an exceptional dining experience for couples and families. Specializing in Mughlai and Indian cuisine, it is known for its extensive buffet featuring a wide array of options including soups, salads, starters, main courses, rice and dal dishes, live chaat counter, and delectable desserts. The buffet caters to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preferences.
Dining at Copper Chimney Thane was an absolute delight! From the moment we stepped in, the warm hospitality and elegant ambiance set the tone for a wonderful experience. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the authentic North Indian cuisine, which truly lives up to Copper Chimney’s legacy. A special mention to Mr. Chandan, who personally ensured that everything was perfect—from recommending the best dishes to making sure our table was well attended. His professionalism and genuine care added a personal touch that made our evening memorable. Every dish we tried had rich, traditional flavors — the kebabs were perfectly marinated, the curries were aromatic and balanced, and the naan was soft and fresh. You can really taste the authenticity and quality in every bite. If you’re in Thane and craving real North Indian food served with warmth and class, Copper Chimney is the place to go. Highly recommended for families, friends, or anyone who appreciates genuine hospitality and timeless taste.

I visited the restaurant over the weekend and was greeted with a 30 to 40 minute wait. This kind of waiting is generally expected during the weekends in most of the restaurant in Viviana. The ambience was the only good thing about the restaurant. Thoughtfully designed and visually appealing. The service failed to match the expectations. Staff were inattentive and the overall experience lacked the professionalism one would expected from this place. The atmosphere was very loud, making it difficult to have a comfortable conversation. Coming to the food, it was a major letdown. We had ordered: 1) Signature Kadak Rumali 2) Bhatti Murga tikka 3) Lahori chicken & Garlic naan 4) Spice Punch 5) Apple Aur Anis Kadak rumali was decent The bhatti murgha tikka was something which we can get on a roadside stall and the icing on cake, Chicken Lahori gravy tasted like it was made from canned tomato purée, lacking freshness, and authenticity. It seems they worked there best to make an visually appealing restaurant but forgot food is the driving factor for any restaurant. The mocktails were decent and refreshing, even for that we had to ask the server 3-4 times. In summary, while the restaurant has a beautiful setting, it falls flat in terms of service, food quality, and overall experience

Recently renovated ( maybe 6 months or so). Ambience is lovely and cozy. Have known Copper Chimney since I was a kid and went first time to their Worli Outlet maybe 20 years ago. Food taste and quality was good that time and it’s good even today. Kadak roomali with hummus, mutton chop, chicken angara, butter chicken , and some innovative cocktails. All extremely aromatic and tasty. A lovely fine dine to celebrate events and family parties. Though being a fine dine it surely is expensive. And it gets crowded on weekends with a 15 mins to 45 mins wait time. But for a foodie ( barring the cost ) surely recommended .

service was really slow and they seemed understaffed, so don't know if it was that particular day or always. atmospheric is great, an aesthetic family dining place. in food, we had the signature veggies plate, the just chicken grill plate, the tawa vegetable biryani, murg makhani and kadhai paneer. they were all good. only need to improve on service.

Had a great lunch outing at Copper Chimney. The ambiance was inviting, with a comfortable and clean setting. Service was prompt and courteous, making the experience even more enjoyable. The food stood out—Bhuna Ghost and Veg Platter was especially flavorful and well-prepared. Portion sizes were generous and worth the price. Overall, a satisfying experience and definitely a spot I’d recommend for a casual lunch or team outing.

Takeout Restaurant
Kasbah Grand is an upscale establishment that offers a range of global cuisines, including Chinese and Indian dishes. The elegant setting includes a rooftop terrace where patrons can enjoy hookah until the early hours of the morning. This tranquil experience allows night owls to unwind in a peaceful environment while savoring delicious food from various culinary traditions. The lounge's furnishings strike a balance between sophistication and beauty, adding to the overall ambiance.
A nice open roof terrace top restaurant serving different varieties of excellently cooked Middle Eastern Cuisine. They have couches placed in Dhaba style and provide decent service. Pricey but worth attempting. I would say this is a huge huge place. You won't realise it when you see from outside. The moment you enter you'll be so amazed to find this place to be so gigantic. Loved the theme and interiors they've done. Food is really tasty. Amazing Rooftop ambience. Each kababs in sauce has a unique taste and food are awesome. Bit heavy on the pocket but worth it. Really loved it. Amazing place and worth the visit.

It is a fun place to visit, price is reasonable, the ambiance is great specially during the evening with the lights and the vibe changes. You get veg-nonveg both the varieties. You can choose your seating arrangement or would be given according to the availability. The food is tasty and quantity is fulfilling. You can head straight here if you are a hookah lover, the songs take you to a different space and ranges are reasonable. Don't worry the hookah ambiance and the family ambiance is entirely different.🥂😁

Super fantastic dinner experience at Kasbah Grand. An evening place for relax and chill with family and friends. The ambiance of the restaurant is vibrant and classy with morrocon style. Restro has three styles of rooftop seating - table chair, sofas, Sheesha seating. Perfect lighting and music. Service is amazing, prompt and staffs are very hygiene maintained, courteous and cooperative. Their menu suggestions are excellent and welcomed And most importantly food, there are some magic in chef's hand. They have very elaborated menu full of, Nawabi, Awadhi, Arabian and Asian lip smacking cuisines. Totally Recommended

Kasbah Grand, An ultimate destination for those who love to gorge on Mughlai delicacies. Also, they have started up with hookah recently. I have been a fan of this place especially when you consider the area of this place. I always come here to try out their one of a kind "Nalli Barrah Kebab". Trust me its the best I have had in my entire life. Now talking about the ambience, they have an AC section as well as a rooftop section as well. I prefer the rooftop enjoying my sheesha along with their lip-smacking dishes.Good portions to be very frank and rates are also quite average. They don't serve alcohol but some interesting mocktails can be spotted on their menu. I had, "Murg Jalandhai Kebab" & "Murg Barrah Kebab" for appetizers. Both were served hot on a sizzling platter and what drool-worthy marination. The sole reason for trying out their kebabs are their marination, simply amazing and delicious. Our mains comprised of "Murg Matka" which we had with a couple of buttery rotis. It was served in an actual matka itself and the quantity can be easily had by 2-3 people. Boneless pieces and thick gravy to be precise. "Murg Kepsa Rice" Do not miss this at any cost. I repeat, this is not to be missed at all. Fabulous quantity and can be relished by like 3 hungry people like me. The tandoori pieces were quite decent in size and a delightful and yummy dish. Can't really end the meal without having "Firni". A decent dollop served in an earthen bowl. Neither too sweet nor too bland. A perfect way to end the meal. Nothing to complain either way. Food is promising and is definitely worth the price. It's open during lunchtime as well but would suggest visiting this place during the evening time to actually enjoy the vibe of this place. A definite recommendation for sheesha and Mughlai food.

Have you ever visited a restaurant and awestruck with its beauty and interiors. That was how I felt when I visited this place situated on Link road. This place is huge with multiple seating areas each decorated so beautifully they simply leave you amazed. The efforts put up behind this place indeed speak volumes. The staff is extremely hospitable and treats every table with utmost warmth. Overall this is our take on @Kasbah Grand: Ambience: 5/5 Service:5/5 Food: 5/5 Creativity: 5/5 Food we ordered: 1. Crispy Roomali Papad: By the time we were settled they treated us with huge crisp inverted roomali masala papad. This was good to munch on by the time we placed our order 2. Malai Tangdi Kulfi: This was something I wanted to try. Chicken drumsticks coated with rich buttery marination enveloped in foil and cooked. The foil rolls are served as is and the moment you break open the foil the rich aroma of buttery chicken engulfs you, pleasant and delicious. Though no spice at all so spice lovers I wouldn’t recommend to order this. 3. Murgh Barrah Kabab: Tender chicken kebab wih rich spicy marination roasted to perfection, just squeeze a slice of lime and feast on it.. 4. Balinese Barbeque Chicken: Small chicken chunks tossed in spicy gravy and spread across a beautiful platter with veggies. This was amazing flavourwise and the quantity was good too.. 5. Murgh Matka: For the Mains we went for a spicy chicken preparation cooked and served in earthen pot. The chicken was quite tender and the gravy had that earthly fragrance and flavor. It went really well with garlic butter naan and roomali roti. . 6. Murgh Biryani: To finish our meals we had to order a Biryani so we went for this Murgh Biryani on recommendation which was again cooked in an earthern pot and seat with flour. The masala was rich and rice was fragrant. Another must have dish, quantity wise too it was amazing and enough for 2 people.. 7. Refreshments: For drinks we went for Ferrero Rocher milkshake which was thick and loaded with chocolate. Secondly we tried the Kasbah Grand Special Milkshake which was a concoction of dryfruits. It makes you kinda full before your meal so try one first. Lastly we enjoyed a tall tower of icy strawberry margherita. It was amazing and quite huge. 8. Desserts: Ending on a sweet note is amust so tried this Gulbahar Shahi Tukda. This delicacy is quite popular and they simple scored it. Delicious is quite an understatement. Overall it was a lavish experience indeed. Amazingly breathetaking interipors, courteous staff, delicious food and creative cocktails stole my heart. Special mention to our attendant Mr. Ravi Devadiga for such a lovely time. Definitely recommended. P.S. They are also starting Tobacco free Hookah in a separate section so if you’re looking for some good places do give it a shot. Happy Fooding 🙂

Nestled in the bustling area of Bandra, Jai Jawan is a beloved street food gem that has captured the hearts and taste buds of locals and visitors alike. This unassuming roadside stall, located opposite National College on Linking Road, serves up mouthwatering North Indian delicacies like tandoori chicken and fried fish. The aroma wafting from this tiny eatery draws in hungry college students during the day and eager shoppers in the evening.
We have been going to this place from childhood. It is still just the same. The fish and prawns still have the same great taste. It is our family's go-to place for sea food cravings. They now have so much addition to their menu. Have tried their chicken tikkas as well. It's delicious.
Husaina S — Google review
Jai Jawan is a popular spot that comes with a lot of hype. We tried the Prawns Koliwada Fry, Basa Fry, and Pomfret Fry, and while they were enjoyable, they didn’t quite meet our expectations considering the higher price point. That said, it’s definitely worth trying at least once for the experience, especially if you’re a seafood enthusiast.

This is dine in restaurant. Same taste 😜 no changes. Eating at outlet since childhood days now at this iconic restaurants in mumbai for seafood and tandoori items. We ordered prawns, rawas and mutton seekh kebabs. Yummy chutney served and pav to accompany.

Jai Jawan is a must-try! This street food stall is famous for its tikkas and seafood, and it truly lives up to the hype. The restaurant is equally impressive, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes. We tried the *Prawns Koliwada*, and we were absolutely amazed by both the taste and hygiene. The prawns were fresh, crispy, and bursting with flavor, making every bite a delight. The balance of spices was perfect, leaving us craving more. For anyone in the area, Jai Jawan is the ideal spot for a quick, satisfying, and flavorful meal. Plus, you can buy fish by the kilo, which is a great option for seafood lovers. As a Goan, I know the taste of fresh seafood, and this place in Mumbai truly delivers. The Maharashtrian Koliwada flavor is the best, making Jai Jawan a culinary gem you don't want to miss!

I went to eat at Jai Jawan after a long time, the last I ate was at the Jai Jawan Linking road outlet, where I got to park my car and was served food inside my car, this time I went to the outlet at Khar Pali road which is like a small resturant, I ordered Chicken Tandoori, Mutton Sheekh Kebab, Butter Chicken, Chicken Biryani. Chicken Tandoori was good the masalas coating the chicken perfectly, balanced flavour, chicken cooked properly not charred loved it, but Mutton Sheek kebab was a disappointment, the texture was hard, it was very dry I had to wet it with lime juice because I wasn't able to gulp it down after chewing, wasn't flavourful at all. Butter Chicken was a bigger disappointment, it was just shredded chicken in tomato 🍅 and cream, flat absolutely flat, did not expect this from Jai Jawan and that too for a simple flavourful dish like butter chicken, chicken biryani was like a nail in the coffin of disasters chicken uncooked and basmati rice just tossed in some gravy was their chicken biryani. I couldn't review the fish as it's rainy season and you get fresh fishes only after Nariyal Purnima or say After Rakshabandhan. But Jai Jawan was a total Dissapoinment for me, I would never go back or suggest anyone, I have eaten the best at Jai Jawan once upon a time, either the owners have made too much money and now they are not interested and or the attitude is ye he hai khana hai toh khao.

If you're a biryani enthusiast, Jaffer Bhai's Delhi Darbar is an absolute gem nestled in Mumbai. This iconic eatery has been serving up delectable Mughlai cuisine since 1973, boasting a rich legacy of over 46 years. Known for its mouth-watering biryanis—ranging from Chicken and Mutton to Prawns—this restaurant is a haven for meat lovers.
ordered Mutton Biryani . There was no flavour. the biryani had no real masala or spice. The green chutney served with it was watery, not thick or flavorful. The raita was fine, which didnt complement the biryani at all. , the food quality equalize to our expectations.. my frd order another food .it's tasty .

Jaffer Bhai! Delhi Darbar offers a mixed experience, but the food is definitely the star of the show. We tried the Raan and Butter Chicken, and they were super yummy! The dishes are bursting with flavor and truly live up to the Delhi Darbar name. Each bite is a delightful exploration of spices and textures, leaving you craving more. However, the dining experience is somewhat marred by other factors. Parking is a significant hurdle. Finding a spot can be incredibly challenging, adding unnecessary stress to your visit. Be prepared to spend some time circling the block or consider alternative transportation. The service, unfortunately, doesn't quite match the quality of the food. While the staff is polite, their energy and enthusiasm seem to be lacking. A more attentive and vibrant service would greatly enhance the overall atmosphere. In conclusion, Jaffer Bhai! Delhi Darbar is a place where the food shines, especially the Raan and Butter Chicken. However, the overall experience is somewhat diminished by parking difficulties and less-than-stellar service. If you're willing to overlook these drawbacks for the sake of the delicious food, it's worth a visit.

Jaffer Bhai's Delhi Darbar is a very famous Mughlai Restaurant in Mumbai, what i had heard is that they server one of the tastiest biryani in mumbai., I visited their Mahim branch which is the most famous among all. The atmosphere and Ambiance is decent and normal too but it's only ambiance which makes it decent otherwise the food was not at all tasty or good . We ordered the chicken and veg biryani both and believe me guys after eating i didnt expected it to be that bad, the biryani and masala had no aroma and also there was no taste. (Biryani is tasteless) I have never tasted biryani with such normal taste only rice and little masala was der(dissatisfied)

Ordered chicken tawa Sandwich, got chilli tawa Sandwich. There were more chillies than the chicken in the sandwich. When I called th and informed them of the same, they replied "Next time order karenge toh bata dena". Some time later I Whatsapp them the photo of the chillies I removed from 1 tawa Sandwich,to which they reply they will send me the same dish as a replacement. Which I refused since I collected the order while I was passing from Mahim and I'm sure they would refuse delivery to Powai any which way.

I ordered Mutton Biryani, which was oily and lacked flavor. There was no aroma, and the biryani had no real masala or spice. The green chutney served with it was watery, not thick or flavorful. The raita was overly sweet, which didn’t complement the biryani at all. Overall, the food quality did not match the expectations Additionally, I was surprised by the pricing: I bought a Bailey water bottle which normally costs ₹20, but they charged ₹55. That’s more than double the MRP and feels unreasonable and unfair. Even with service charges, ₹25–30 would have been understandable, but ₹55 is excessive.

I had an amazing dining experience! The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and showed great attention to detail. The quality of ingredients was top-notch, and the balance of spices and seasoning was spot on. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Whether you’re craving something classic or adventurous, this place delivers consistently excellent food that’s sure to satisfy

The biryani was absolutely superb! The rice was perfectly cooked, fragrant, and each grain was bursting with flavor from the well-balanced spices. The chicken/mutton was incredibly tender and succulent, and the way it was blended with the spices was truly exceptional. This biryani wasn't just a meal; it was an experience. I would definitely order it again!

Our forever favourite place for Biryanis! The food is so authentic and delicious. Just can’t get enough of their Biryani and kebabs. Hygiene well maintained. Their staff are also very humble. Super delicious food at reasonable prices!

Updated version: went a second time after the first time with excellent everything. Well! Interesting enough, service wasn’t as good as the food time and food was also not good. I ordered tiger prawns, and it was salty to the point i couldn’t eat it. I told the waiter that its really salty, he took it back to the kitchen then came back and told me its seafood and its supposed to be that salty!!! Really???? I eat prawns all over the world as its my favourite seafood and never had anyone told that nonsense. Next time please either get the chef to cook another one with less salt or refund it. I wouldn’t eat there again after this experience. The briani was good though. 1st time: Cannot fault this place. Staff are very attentive. The food was AMAZING. Had a great time. Restaurant is really nice too, the atmosphere was excellent.

Punjab Grill in BKC enjoys a prime location, nestled amidst major corporate offices, making it a convenient spot for business lunches or after-work dinners. The ambience is well done, offering a sophisticated and comfortable setting that gives off good vibes as you settle in. When it comes to food quality, it’s decent and satisfying. However, considering the price point, the overall experience does not quite justify the cost. The menu is on the expensive side, which is expected for a place in BKC, but you’d still expect better service for what you’re paying. What left a particularly disappointing impression was the lack of staff attentiveness during the meal. It was quite a struggle to get the attention of the servers, whether to place an order or request something mid-meal. This kind of service feels out of place in a premium dining setting. Additionally, during billing, we noticed a ‘staff contribution’ charge added automatically without any prior communication or consent. When questioned, the explanation was vague and unsatisfactory. While Punjab Grill BKC has a good location and pleasant ambience, the poor service and surprise charges overshadow the experience. There are definitely better alternatives nearby that offer more value for money and respectful customer service.

Visited yesterday with my business partner. The restaurant is located in a prime area of Mumbai — BKC — so our expectations were high, especially since I'm from Chandigarh and familiar with authentic Punjabi cuisine . The ambience and food were good overall, but the service could definitely be improved, especially considering they charge a special service fee. We ordered Dahi ke Kebab, Paneer, and Pindi Chole with Naan. The Kebabs and Rasmalai were particularly delicious. Prices are on the higher side compared to the quantity and overall experience. While the staff was polite, a warmer, more welcoming attitude with a smile would enhance the service quality. The entrance is wheelchair ♿ accessible, and paid parking 🅿️ is available nearby.

Located on the prime location, I had huge expectations with the Punjab Grill. Though ambience is good, food and service was a let down. We ordered Hara Bhara Kebab, Dal Tadka, Naan and Missi Roti. The Kebabs were very greasy with a piquant and Pungent smell. Didn’t taste fresh. Daal and Naan were good but Missi roti was spectacular. Prices are high as compared to the food served. Service and staff need to be smiling. Their body language was not welcoming. This was particularly my experience and your visit can vary. Paid parking is available nearby.
FitFoodieMegha — Google review
We went there for the chefs tasting menu in a big varied group. The ambience and location is good. But the food certainly has come down since I first tasted them in 2012 at Chandigarh. The spices were off balance in some of the courses. They served the same papad like think or tapioca chips with some courses as an accompaniment. The lamb rack and chicken chettinad were good though. Worth a visit but certainly not like the old one. Maybe it was just an off day!
AG — Google review
Punjab Grill has lost its glory ever since the Management has changed. My experience was absolutely pathetic. To start with the ambience is almost like an udipi restaurant, it does not even feel clean. The waiters are absolutely lost. Our waiter served us some other table’s chicken kabab instead of our paneer. They were not even apologetic about it. The food was a below average 2/10. The prices are exorbitant, i mean 5 star pricing for 2 star food and service. Plz save your money, there are far better places to go to for a better experience. Sadly Punjab grill has now turned into a commercial below average poor quality restaurant.

If you're on the hunt for authentic Delhi cuisine in Mumbai, look no further than Delhi Zaika. This vibrant cafe-style restaurant captures the essence of traditional North Indian flavors with its bustling atmosphere and metal tables. The menu boasts a delightful array of dishes, from the mouth-watering kulche chole to delectable dahi bhalle, all prepared to perfection with just the right amount of spice.
"I had an exceptional dining experience at Delhi zaika ! The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a cozy decor that set the tone for a fantastic meal. Our server, was attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed . The food was outstanding, with each dish expertly prepared and presented. The amul dahi chicken , chicken and mutton barah with butter naan was a highlight, with flavors that complemented each other perfectly. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were reasonable considering the high quality of the food and service. What truly made our experience stand out was the attention to detail and the personal touches. The chef came out to chat with us, and the staff made sure we felt welcome and appreciated. I highly recommend Delhi zaika to anyone looking for a exceptional dining experience. We can't wait to come back! Some key points to highlight in a restaurant are - *Food Quality*: Chicken barra, mutton barah, amul dahi chicken & Delhi zaika special mutton kepsa rice & mutton biryani was fabulous In taste the flavors, textures, and presentation was awesome and unbeatable. - *Service*: waiters attentiveness, knowledge, and friendliness was excellent. - *Ambiance*: The decor, lighting, music, and overall atmosphere was fabulous. The ambience was too romantic. - *Value*: The price was too reasonable as considering the quality of food and service. - *Memorable Moments*: The ambience and environment will be like a memorable moment you will always remember.

All backbone pieces or leg piece void of any meat, not tender juicy but too firm, hard to chew. It used to be better in my earlier trips. Extremely disappointed with 5aste and quality. Saving grace was zerra rice.

One of the best restaurant in Mumbai to try if you are a foodie. You should try mutton dishes and mutton soup for sure. Chicken dishes are also very good and tasty. I am a foodie and I eat at many places. Recently I came across this place in Kurla and I was awestruck. I was so engrossed in eating that I didn't clicked much photos but I am planning to go soon so will click again. The quantities they serve is always huge. So they are good on quality and quantity. I ordered Mutton Barra Cream - 5 stars - Creamy , Buttery ,soft mutton chunks, mild , flavourful, juicy. Butter Naan - 5 stars - Softest naan Ever had ! Mutton Dum Biryani - 4 stars - Great on Taste. Perfectly cooked. Absolutely amazing ambience, very courteous and efficient staff, neat and clean place with great choice of food on the menu. Overall a good experience!!

I have been visiting this place since 9 years. I only visit it to eat only 2 dishes - Chicken peshawari tandoori, and Chicken afghani malai tikka. The taste of these dishes have not been changed in many years. It is also a delight to have these dishes with soft laccha paratha. Do not miss the malaai rabdi after everything, which is thick and creamy. 👍🏻 But do no order food from here. They always send meat which is not fresh. 👎🏻

I recently had an excellent dining experience at Delhi Zaika Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend this place to anyone in search of flavorful nonveg dishes at affordable prices. One of the highlights was the Chicken Delhi Zaika Special, which was incredibly mouth-watering. The service is the fastest, was still satisfactory. We tried the Chicken Peshwari and chicken barra. The starter dish has a perfect balance of spices and minimal oil. The Delhi Zaika Chicken was thin and easily definitely worth a try. However, the Butter naan has a unique style with soft when you eat it with your food unexpected but still tasty. The hotel ambiance was nice and the food was also tasty. For your family, I recommend you go 2nd floor of the hotel. The table size is around 8 to 12 people. You can try it with your family dinner in Delhi Zaika. Dish Ratings: 1) Chicken Peshwari: 4/5 2) Butter Naan: 4.5/5 3) Chicken Barra: 3.5/5 4) Chicken Delhi Zaika Special: 4.5/5 Thank you

Driver recommendations can be tricky! I asked for a specific restaurant, but ended up at Balwas, filled with Arab tourists and waiters speaking mostly Arabic. It felt very tourist-oriented. The papad, which came at an extra cost, was greasy. I ordered the Dum Biryani, but it leaned more towards a typical Arabic biryani with a lot of plain rice. Apparently, some spices aren't as popular with Arab diners. They also suggested butter chicken, a common Arab choice, but I opted for the shajahani chicken, which was delicious. The butter naan was decent. Overall, Balwas is a good fit for Arab tourists seeking familiar flavors. However, if you're looking for a taste of Mumbai's unique cuisine, explore other restaurants.

The menu features an array of flavorful dishes, including their famous Rum-Whisky Te Chicken Kebabs, perfect for sharing stories with family and friends.
"We had a good experience at Mulk Restaurant! The ambiance was inviting, and the food was flavorful, with each dish showcasing a nice blend of spices. We also received a 20% corporate discount, which was a pleasant surprise. While the taste was great, the portion sizes could be improved for better value, as it felt a bit on the costly side. A little more quantity would certainly enhance the experience and make it feel more balanced with the price. Overall, a nice place for quality dining if you're looking to enjoy some flavorful food with a welcoming ambiance."

Absolutely blown away by Mulk Restaurant! I visited with a few friends and we were all left seriously impressed. From the moment we walked in, the grand Indian décor set the tone for a rich, indulgent dining experience. The ambiance is regal, yet welcoming, perfect for a relaxed catch-up or even a celebration. The food? Beyond delicious. Every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. Must-try items include the Paneer Tikka Multani, Murgh Darbari Kebab, Aachari Lamb Chop, Bhatti Da Murgh, Tandoori Jhinga, and the ultra-fragrant Ghosh-ki-Dum Biryani. For desserts, the Rasmalai Tres Leches and Jalebi with Rabadi were a hit—rich, creative, and perfectly balanced. Their mocktails were refreshing and paired well with the spices. The service was lightning fast, and the staff were courteous, attentive, and extremely well-mannered, which made the whole experience even better. A huge shoutout to Chef Ishijot Singh, whose culinary mastery truly shines through each dish.

Mulk is wow, It would be totally unjustified if I wrote anything about the food. The quality of food and the taste are on a different level. The Jeera Phudine ka sherbet, the Tandoori items, the veg starters, the kebabs, the biryanis, the main course just awesome. Go and try anything on the menu. Just go. The hospitality is wonderful with good people around to serve you with lovely food. The only thing that is not imp but just as important was the AC it wasn't cooling, I guess that will be taken care of.

Mulk in Andheri West, Mumbai, is a truly special place for a meal. From the moment we were welcomed with a delicious sev puri, the experience was wonderful. For beverages, we enjoyed the lassi and a spicy guava drink, both of which were excellent. We started with the paneer kurkure and stuffed aaloo, which were perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The main course, a fantastic butter chicken with warm naan, was the highlight of the meal. To finish, the jalebi rabdi was a perfect and traditional end to a great dining experience. The service was also excellent, with a very friendly and attentive staff. If you're looking for a great place to enjoy authentic Indian food in a beautiful setting, Mulk is a must-visit.

Came because of the hype but sorely disappointed. The food lacked any flavor whatsoever. Used mustard oil for chicken tandoori (if I wanted healthy I would eat a salad) The waiter was condescending considering kept saying adding cheese to the dish will add extra and I said that's okay but still kept saying are you sure... didn't feel good Not sure what others saw in this place... I guess the live music was not disappointing. It's only good for taking insta pictures of food (put dry ice on anything to make it appealing right) It should be called dhuan not mulk

Extremely average food. The place is hyped and the prices here are extremely high, but according to that the food is a big flop show. The only thing i really loved here was the Murgh Darbaari Tikka. Except for that everything we ordered was extremely sad. The Sikandari Raan was extremely extremelyyy chewy. ₹2000 for it & not worth it at all. Even the Galauti Kebabs were bad. Just by these 2 lamb dishes, i feel they dont know how to cook a lamb for sure. The worst bit being, they did not do anything to correct the chewy Raan in-spite of telling them twice. SAD Butter Chicken was okish, nothing great or outstanding. The rumali roti too was dry and hard, as if it was made & kept for a while and then served. Overall the experience was very sad. Not WORTH the money. We ended up spending ₹13336 for 7 people, but could have a wonderful meal at some other place and enjoyed it.

The ambience (5/5) is really good here. The service was good and prompt, may be because I visited this place on a weekday. I had * Chicken cheesy kebabs - the chicken supreme pieces (6 big pieces) were tender and juicy (5/5) * Masala Papad - this was regular quarter plate size papad with not so overloaded toppings which was actually good because heavy toppings makes it difficult to eat and makes the papad soggy. (4/5) * Virgin Mojito - again, a regular glass of Virgin Mojito, not too artificially sweet. (4/5) * Kunafa - this was served in a small bowl, the vermicelli was not crisp (which I expected it to be) however the inside was filled with good amount of soft cream cheese. It was topped with just perfect amount of saffron sugar syrup (not too sweet) and some diced badam and kaju (dry fruits were not really chopped fine)

Special mention goes to their Daal Bukhara—it was creamy, rich, and one of the best I’ve ever tasted. Every dish was a perfect blend of traditional spices and expert preparation. The presentation was also great, and the fresh accompaniments like sliced onions, cucumbers, and tomatoes added a nice touch to the plates. Highly recommended if you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Indian cuisine. I will definitely be coming back!

We went there in November 2024. Quite late posting about it. Food and Service is great. They are very polite. Dal Bukhara is a must try here. The place is quite crowded though. Expect a wait time even after pre booking. So it is more of a happening place instead of a calm environment. Anyways, it is worth trying! And here is the Peshawri team's picture 😊

The food is delicious. You can actually feel the peshawari taste in food. Service was good. Serving was on time. Atmosphere I felt was a bit dark. The decoration with antique utensils is something makes you feel like in that era. The seats can be better. Found a bit uncomfortable.

Went for dinner, this is my 10000000000000 time I’ve been here. Just hits the spot. Couldn’t recommend it enough. Great staff. Fantastic food. Will keep coming back for life. The place to eat dal makhini and pudina paratha
Kabir A — Google review
They serve limited food items but that tastes a notch above the rest. Amazing food & the traditions that they follow, example being, no usage of spoons as they believe in eating by hands. Ambiance is good but I think they have squeezed the place with more tables and thus looks a bit congested. Their Daal Bukhara has no alternatives along with Tandoori Aloo that they suggested us to have. I did not like Roti’s much as its softness went away too early and we felt like eating Biscuits than roti. Service is excellent.
Hemang R — Google review
It's the legendary Dal Bukhara. 😁 That's why you come to Peshawari. I am only taking away a star cause the Tandoori Gobi doesn't meet the standard it was 10 years ago. But it's a wonderful place for a proper Tandoori Experience.

The food was exceptionally delicious, leaving a lasting impression with its rich flavors and perfect preparation. Mr. Vijay Singh Mehra extended a warm and gracious welcome, treating us not merely as guests, but with the genuine care and warmth one would offer to family. His hospitality was truly outstanding, elevating our entire dining experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking not just a meal, but a memorable experience, and I commend Mr. Vijay for his exemplary service and heartfelt dedication.

Saffron By The Sassy Spoon is a delightful cloud kitchen that brings the rich flavors of Indian cuisine right to your doorstep. Under the expert guidance of chef Rachel Goenka, this culinary gem specializes in traditional dishes prepared using clay matkis and tandoor ovens, ensuring an authentic experience with every bite.
After having tried the Sassy Spoon multiple times, I was excited for their cloud kitchen concept delivering till 3am, hence decided to give this place Saffron by Sassy Spoon a try! Their menu is compact and has some amazing varieties in Indian Mughlai Cuisines. Ordered the Saffron Chicken Tikka and Chicken Makhanwala Kulcha in Starters & Prawns Masala Fry Biryani in Main Course. The packaging was done with utmost care and branding was very evident on each boxes. Full marks on this aspect. Coming to the taste, Saffron Chicken Tikka had the vibrant colour with cheesy texture on top of well grilled tikkas. Chicken was tender and succulent and the mint chutney, onion salad given alongside were perfect complement to these kebabs! Loved it. Loved the concept of Chicken Makhanwala Stuffed Kulchas. It's like the best of both worlds i.e. main course and rotis mixed into a dish. Bit on sweeter side but it was as per my liking. Each bite had good portions of chicken and again this pairs very well with their in house special mint chutney. Do try! Loved the quantity of Prawns Masala Fry Biryani it was more than sufficient for 2 3 persons. Looked very pleasant to eyes and prawns used in this biryani elevated it to the very next level. Prawns big in size and cooked to very perfection. Also biryani rice was cooked well and overall taste was subtle yet tasty. Overall my first experience with this cloud Kitchen of Sassy Spoon has been a pleasant one. Since they are delivering till 3am, feel this is gonna be a hit amongst the crowd who crave for delicious delicacies pretty late post midnight. Cheers!!

Sunday afternoon felt like to relish some chicken dishes so ordered from here. I loved the appetizers & main course options. The packaging was top notch. Spill proof packaging in Biodegradable containers. The food quality & presentation was also good. The appetizers were good in portion (5 pieces) with some onion rings & mint chutney. Loved the aroma & so tender chicken pieces. In main course we tried Afghani chicken which was creamy & delicious. 3-4 small chicken pieces & topped with omelette. The portion can be slightly improved. Goes great with Cheese garlic naan. Dishes tried: ▪︎Chicken Reshmi kebab ▪︎Malai Chicken Tikka ▪︎Afghani chicken (main course) ▪︎Cheese garlic naan Overall we had a great experience. Looking forward to try out the other dishes too. Must order :)

This place serve one of the best Food around Powai, We recently ordered for Classic paneer tikka: It was one of the best and flavour bomb marination with 5 pieces of big paneer pieces with green chutney. Paneer Khurchan: This was super thick gravy loaded with super soft paneer and topped with Fenugreek leaves. You cannot ask for any better vegetable with Garlic naan! Dum Aloo Kashmiri Biryani: This smoked Biryani with baby potato and lots of Indian spices is enough to fall you in love with Biryani and super thick Raitha, It was the best combination in the world. Gulabjamun: 2 pieces of Shahi Gulabjamun was sent which was infused with kesar and dryfruits were added. overall packaging and food was super amazing and looking forward to order again!

Ambience 4/5 Place is really good and staff is very friendly. Food 3/5 Would highly recommend BBQ Pizza. It was yummy. Drinks(Mocktails) 2/5 Mocktails were not that good. Soul cooler was the only one that tasted better. Rest all were mostly tasteless.

Recently I came to know about Saffron by the Sassy Spoon serving North Indian, Mughlai & Biryani. Packaging was done in a Biodegradable Box that is not harmful for the environment once it's used and thrown. There were lots of Veg 🟢 & Non-Veg 🔴 food options. I ordered 1) Vegetable Dum Biryani - Vegetables were cooked properly and long grain Basmati Rice 🍚 we were used, it had great taste & flavour. 2) Paneer Tikka Biryani - Big pieces of Paneer Tikka along with Basmati 🍚 cooked to perfection. 3) Classic Paneer Tikka - Big pieces of Paneer well marinated and cooked in tandoor was amazing. 4 Mango Wood Smoked Kashmiri Dum Aloo - Texture and Colour of the Gravy perfect and the taste was amazing. I liked it. Overall I had a very good experience ordering food from Saffron by the Sassy Spoon (Powai).

Saffron by the sassy spoon is a place located in powai. They serves variety of Tasty and Authentic North Indian Dishes. Few days back, I ordered from here and found this to be one of the best place in the locality to order from. Starting with the delivery then it was on time, also the packaging was good enough to keep the food hot and in good condition. Talking about the taste then it was out of the world. The aroma itself was quite mesmerizing. It was very very tasty and delicious. The quantity and quantity was great too. I would recommend this place for sure *HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 💯*

Saffron by sassy spoon is one of the best and famous outlet located at Hirandani ,Powai. I have recently ordered from this outlet. The best thing i liked about this outlet was the way of packing the food and timely service.. And also the quantity & quality was too good. I have ordered --- 1. Classic chicken tikka Which is one of the recommended starters of this outlet. The quantity of chicken was great. They have served it with green chutney. I will also recommend you to try this dish once .... 2. Veg dum biryani It is also one of the famous dish in the main course. Quantity of it so enough that easily 2 people can have it. 3. Chicken Tikka masala As I need something spicy in gravy so I have ordered this dish. It was really spicy the way I wanted. Also the packing of it in the container was too good. If you are looking for spicy gravy i will personally recommend you to try this dish. The overall experience of this outlet was too great. If you are looking to order food online from Powai just check this outlet once..

Finest delicacies from the different parts of India, all under one roof!! Already a big fan of their cakes & pastries! Tried few North Indian dishes for lunch from their new venture and I totally loved the authentic taste and quality of food that they are delivering. Food delivered with all the safety measures in place and packed in eco friendly, tamper proof boxes. Food was delivered on time and was hot as desired. We tried Dahi ke kebab, Tomato Shorba, Paneer Nawabdar with Roti and Naan, subz Paneer Biryani and kesar Phirni with pista! Tomato Shorba was having a perfect consistency and tanginess! It was served with spicy crisp green garlic thecha vadi which definitely enhanced the overall taste. Dahi ke kabab, delivered so perfectly! Kebab were still crisp. Stuffing was with balanced spice levels. Went down really well with coriander mint dip! Impressed with the quality. Paneer Nawabdar with Roti & Naan - rich creamy gravy with fine chopped veggies and fresh paneer chunks! Perfectly cooked, not that spicy. Naan became little chewy, Roti was perfect. Paneer Sabz Biryani! One of the best dish from this place. Definitely a must must try. High quality basmati rice so well cooked, those aromatic Indian spices, fresh well cooked crunchy vegetables and paneer chunks! This Biryani was completely loaded with flavours. We loved it! Kesar Phirni, served in authentic way in an earthenware! Phirni was having perfect sweetness, topped with lots of pista, which enhanced the overall look and gave that crunch of pista in every bite! Overall, a must try menu by team saffron! We just loved the delicious twists that they have added in all the regular dishes. It was kind of perfect enhancement I would say. Overall value for money and worth trying! We loved food from this place!

Goila Butter Chicken is a popular takeaway and delivery spot known for its focus on butter chicken. However, it also offers delicious vegetarian options like Mushroom and Paneer Naan Bombs and 24/7 Dal Makhani. This gourmet stand is the brainchild of celebrity chef Saransh Goila, who has put his own spin on India's iconic dish. Customers rave about the smoky and creamy flavors of the butter chicken, making it a must-try for any food enthusiast.
After being hooked on to the Goila Butter Chicken brand recently, I tried a couple of other dishes of the brand recently. I went for their Butter Chicken Biryani and Chicken Ghee Roast. The biryani was amazing. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for more from that. The ghee roast was a little too rich. The amount of ghee used in in it is insane, but it tasted great. It is best if at least two people share that dish :) The packaging is neat and spill-proof. The food was still warm when I brought the packages home. Their service is prompt too.

Ordered from Zomato recommended by a colleague. Packaging was good but no utensils provided. Portions were small and the butter chicken was average at best. Worst part is the chicken meat was so so little and small in size. Too much curry and no meat. What a disaster.
Jeremy C — Google review
One of the most pathetic dal makhani and food. May be they have earned the fame, first time ever I called because always Heard. Dal makhani was just water. Please don't insult Punjabis with dal makhani. U can never ever beat their choice. Butter chicken bombs were good as just a normal fried crumbs. Forget everything. Please don't insult dal makhani. It's a blend to cook. Take care how it should be served

Earlier there used to be to be biodegradable packaging and good quantity in thali but now it’s just plastic and small portions

The food is extremely bad. I ordered the Butter Paneer Thali and both of us who ate it got food poisoning and fell sick. Definitely do not recommend, unless you wanna fall ill.
Keya M — Google review
Sorry to mention and definitely nothing against the brand he's made.. But the portion was definitely less than expected for the price I paid.. The taste too was not out of the ordinary.. I ordered via zomato as they only serve through zomato and swiggy.. Definitely looked for the portion size, however there was no mention of it.. In addition this was first instance when I noticed boneless chicken was less expensive than the chicken cooked with bone. The naans and buttergarlic naans helped...

One of best butter chicken I ever had .it has a smoky as well as creamy flavors in it . just loved it.must try once for sure

I've tried butter chicken at numerous places before, but this was something else. Has to be the best butter chicken I've had, by a mile. Everything was immaculately done, right from the green chutney to the chicken gravy. The chicken pieces were succulently cooked and the gravy too was immense. Not too spicy, not too bland, just the perfect blend of masalas, resulting into a world class gravy. Kudos to Mr. Saransh and his team. 10/10 would recommend.
