K. Rustoms & Co. Ice Cream Parlour is an iconic and beloved ice cream shop in Mumbai that has been delighting customers for over 60 years. Their specialty lies in serving delicious ice cream sandwiches, featuring thick slabs of their signature flavors sandwiched between crispy wafer biscuits. The parlour offers a wide range of flavors, including seasonal offerings like mango and chikoo, as well as year-round favorites such as choco mint crunch and rum and raisin.
we stopped by K. Rustom & Co., a legendary ice cream parlour in Mumbai. Known as one of the oldest in the city, they're credited with inventing the iconic ice cream sandwich using biscuits. It took us about 30 minutes in line to get our ice cream, but it was absolutely worth the wait. I tried the chocolate and black currant flavors—both were delicious, rich, and refreshing. The biscuit sandwich added a nostalgic charm to the whole experience. K. Rustom & Co. is a must-visit for anyone with a sweet tooth looking to enjoy a classic Mumbai treat.

If you are in the Marine drive you must go to this famous food spot and try their range of ice cream sandwiches options. Tasted refreshing and yummy. You have to pay by cash no online payment option available. Usually there will be some waiting time depending upon the crowd. The staff don't usually care about you, they are doing their own stuff at their pace.

This is a very famous ice cream spot in Mumbai, operating for many years now. It’s known for its unique concept of ice cream sandwiches. I tried the sitaphal and raspberry flavors. To be honest, I would recommend it to people visiting Marine Lines—worth trying at least once, but not something you should specially go for. Personally, I’d rate it 3/5.

K. Rustom & Co. – A Mumbai Classic Ice Cream That Never Disappoints Location - Near Churchgate Station, opposite Ambassador Hotel, Mumbai Stepping into K. Rustom & Co. is like taking a trip back in time and every bite of their iconic ice cream sandwiches takes you even further. A true Mumbai institution, this old-school parlour continues to win hearts with its unique charm and legendary flavours. What We Tried We ate a delicious range of flavours: - Walnut Crunch – nutty, creamy, and perfectly balanced - Coffee – subtle, strong, and not overly sweet - Candied Cream – fun, nostalgic. Kids would love it - Pista – smooth and mildly flavoured - Choco Crunch – rich chocolate with bits of crunch that added great texture - Paan – surprisingly refreshing with just the right hit of paan essence All of them were served between their signature thin wafer biscuits, making it easy to eat (and very photogenic!). The texture is dense yet smooth, and each flavour felt true to its name. Price & Experience Prices are very affordable, especially considering how unique and satisfying the product is. Do note: it’s cash-only and no seating, but that’s part of the charm. Service is quick and straightforward. You queue up, pick your flavour, pay, and step outside most likely with a smile. Verdict K. Rustom & Co. is not just an ice cream parlour, it's a Mumbai experience. If you're near Marine Drive or Churchgate, make this a stop. Perfect for a post-walk treat or to introduce visitors to a taste of Mumbai's legacy.

We recently visited Rustomjee, and it was an absolute treat for anyone who loves traditional flavors, especially their iconic ice creams. From the moment we stepped in, the aroma and vibrant display of colorful ice creams immediately caught our attention. The taste, as always, lived up to its reputation—rich, creamy, and authentically traditional. Each flavor we tried was perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of sweetness, allowing the natural ingredients to shine through. It truly felt like a nostalgic journey back to classic, homemade-style ice creams. The traditional touch in every scoop makes Rustomjee stand out from many modern dessert outlets. Flavors like kesar pista, malai, and falooda were especially remarkable, showcasing the brand’s dedication to preserving authentic tastes. Every bite was smooth, indulgent, and deeply satisfying, making it a must-try for anyone visiting the area. The only downside, however, was the crowd. The outlet tends to get extremely busy, particularly during peak hours, which can make finding a seat or waiting in line a bit challenging. Despite this, the taste and quality of the ice creams make the experience worthwhile. Overall, Rustomjee remains a go-to destination for authentic, traditional ice creams. If you’re a true dessert lover, the superb taste and nostalgic flavors will definitely make you overlook the crowd. It’s a place that promises happiness in every scoop and leaves you craving for more.

👍 What’s good The parlour is iconic and long-standing (founded around 1953) in South Bombay / Churchgate area. They’re well known for ice-cream sandwiches: thick slabs of ice cream between wafer biscuits rather than just a cone. Massive flavour variety: reviews mention dozens of flavours such as walnut crunch, coffee crunch, paan, coconut, black-currant, mango, kesar-pista, etc. Good value: many reviews mention “reasonably priced”, especially for a novelty/heritage spot. Great location for a treat while strolling: it’s near Marine Drive / Churchgate (Veer Nariman Road) in Mumbai, so you can grab and walk. Recognition: It ranked #49 on the global “150 best places for desserts” list by Taste Atlas, which speaks to its reputation. --- 👀 Things to watch / possible downsides No seating (or very limited). It’s more of a stop-and-go rather than a leisurely sit-down parlour. Some reviews mention you’ll eat outside. Payment: Many customers note they accept only cash (or at least preferred cash) and maybe no/limited digital payments. E.g., one review: “They still don’t accept online payments even in 2025.” Crowds / wait times: Given its fame, you might have to queue, especially during evenings or weekends. Flavour availability: Some flavours may be sold out or not available; one review says “most of the flavours were not available from the menu and they only had a few selected written on a white board”. Mixed reviews on taste: While many love it, some feel it’s more hype than exceptional. Example from Reddit: > “I ordered raspberry, chocolate roasted almond … found it to be more scented then flavourful.” Also from Zomato: “The ice creams are good but nothing so extraordinary about the taste.” --- ✅ My verdict If I were to summarise: yes — K. Rustom & Co. is worth a visit, especially if you’re in South Mumbai, exploring the area, or want to try a piece of local culinary heritage. The ice-cream sandwich concept, the flavour list, the setting near Marine Drive all add up to an experience. But: don’t go expecting ultra-luxury or high-end gourmet ice cream. It’s more about charm, nostalgia and novelty than being the ultimate ice-cream parlor in terms of the richest flavour or luxe ambience. So if you have limited time, go for it if you’re nearby; but I wouldn’t plan a long trip just for it unless you’re an ice cream enthusiast. --- 🎯 Tips for your visit Go during non-peak hours (early afternoon) to avoid long queues. Bring cash (or ask ahead if cards/UPI are accepted). Choose a few flavours you’d like (e.g., coffee crunch, walnut crunch, kesar-pista) and be flexible if some aren’t available. If you’re planning to enjoy it near Marine Drive (which is recommended), have tissues/napkins handy — the wafer sandwich can be messier than a cone. Since your interest is in ice cream (and you study Food Technology), you might want to note the unique format (wafer sandwich) and flavour variety — could spark ideas for study/analysis of formats or consumer appeal.

One more OG place we covered in this visit to Mumbai. Place is very nostalgic and we enjoyed couple of their ice cream sandwiches. Must try when you are around church gate area!
Deepak B — Google review
Visiting K. Rustom & Co. is like stepping back into old Mumbai — simple, classic, and full of charm. The iconic ice cream sandwiches here are pure nostalgia, with creamy ice cream neatly packed between crisp wafers. Every flavor feels authentic and homemade, from rich walnut crunch and rum & raisin to fruity mango and pineapple. The best part is enjoying it while strolling along Marine Drive, feeling the sea breeze as you savor every bite. The place has no fancy décor or gimmicks — just honest flavors, quick service, and that timeless Mumbai warmth. Prices are affordable, portions are generous, and the taste never disappoints. K. Rustom’s truly proves that simplicity never goes out of style. A must-visit spot for locals and tourists alike who want to experience the real essence of Mumbai — sweet, nostalgic, and unforgettable. 🍦✨

Please try Pani puri flavored ice cream! I was very skeptical of this flavor in the beginning we tried it just for trying’s sake. But it blew our minds right out of our heads. We also tried paan icecream which was also really good. But the pani puri icecream was the highlight of my evening. The staff there are nice and helpful and you can try samples before you actually settle for a flavor. They have a small seating area in front of the facade. I highly recommend this place.

As Apsara ice cream was just 5 minutes away from my house, days back I had decided to check in there with my family after our lunch to have some dessert time. The staff gave us to taste the ice creams to choose from without getting hesitant. I finally chose coconut cravings for myself which was very yummy.

Bachelorr's at Chowpatty, a laid-back spot established since the 1930s, is known for its diverse menu featuring fruit juices, ice-cream sundaes, and light international bites. The seasonal specialty of fruits with whipped cream like Strawberries with Cream in winter and Mangoes with Cream in summer is a must-try.
I recently visited Bachelor’s, the much-hyped spot at Marine Drive, and I must say it definitely lives up to the buzz! If you're a fan of strawberry desserts, this place is a dream come true. Their **strawberry cream** is an absolute must-try—fresh, creamy, and indulgent. The other strawberry-based desserts are equally top-notch, showcasing the freshness and quality of ingredients. Don’t miss their **chocolate shakes** either—they are rich, smooth, and utterly satisfying. The balance of flavors is perfect, and it’s one of the best chocolate shakes I’ve had in a while. The place is vibrant and welcoming, the service is prompt and friendly, and the food is worth every penny. It’s the perfect spot to visit with your loved ones for a memorable treat.

We tried the paneer tikka pizza and Sitaphal shake .. while the pizza was reasonably priced but the shake was too costly. We loved both things but if they could give the option to choose the base. Some of us are not a fan of thin base.

Bachelorr’s, Chowpatty – A Timeless Delight Since the 1930s! Bachelorr’s at Chowpatty is truly worth the hype! From their super delicious, mouthwatering food to the quick and polite service, everything about this place is just perfect. I’ve tried almost everything here, and every bite was a ten on ten: ✅ Classic Chocolate Shake – Rich, thick, and heavenly! ✅ Iconic Strawberry Cream – Fresh, creamy, and absolutely delightful. ✅ Seethaphal Milkshake – Unique and refreshing. ✅ Paneer Sandwich – Loaded with flavors and perfectly grilled. ✅ Paneer Tikka Pizza – Cheesy, smoky, and perfectly spiced. The best part? You don’t even need to step out of your car! Park, relax, and enjoy as they take your order, deliver food, collect the bill, and even clear up the garbage. A truly hassle-free experience! Plus, the stunning beach view opposite makes it even more special. I highly recommend this place to everyone! If you’re in Mumbai, Bachelorr’s is a must-visit!

This iconic place is situated right on Marine lines just on the opposite side of girgaon chowpatty sea face. A perfect and great place for those midnight cravings. Kindly note that it's easy to miss as the sign board is not very prominent. Operating since 1930 It's been serving various flavours of amazing ice creams along with fresh juices, milk shakes and various snacks also. The service is swift. There is no seating in this place more like a drive through kind of place but you can park the vehicle near the place and the waiter takes the order from your car and servers it in your car.

Evaluate the freshness and quality of the ingredients used in both the juices and snacks. A diverse range of juices and snacks, along with unique combinations, can make the dining experience more interesting. The presentation of both the juices and snacks is important. Are the flavors well-balanced, and do they complement each other? Also, consider the texture of snacks – whether they are crispy, chewy, etc. Evaluate the service, including the speed of service, attentiveness of staff, and their knowledge about the menu. Ensure that the restaurant maintains cleanliness and hygiene standards in both food preparation and the dining area. The ambiance of the street food area can add to the overall experience. Consider the setting and whether it enhances the enjoyment of your snacks and juice.

We tried seethaphal cream, which had a lot of cream and less seethaphal in it, which we didn't like, and chocolate chip ice cream, and they were both okay, not worth the hype! I found it a bit pricey.
SANJU V — Google review
Drawn by the brand name visited the place. The vibe lives up to the hype. The servers go out of their way to walk up to cars and take orders and make you feel special. The sitaphal cream which is a delicacy wasn’t much to my liking. It was heavy with whipped cream while I would have liked fresh cream better. There wasn’t a choice provided.

Ice cream shop
Taj Ice Cream is a charming ice cream parlor nestled in the vibrant streets of Mumbai, India. With a legacy spanning over 130 years, this beloved spot has captured the hearts of both locals and visitors with its rich and creamy handmade ice creams. The menu boasts an array of flavors that range from timeless classics like chocolate and vanilla to exotic options such as sitaphal (custard apple) and kesar pista (saffron and pistachio).
Just accidently bumped into this ice cream shop and it turned out to be the best ice cream I ever had in my life. The quality of ice cream totally set a new definition and benchmark for ice creams. Tried their fruit flavours(must try). It's quite thick, very natural, feels as if you are having the actual fruit in a creamy form. Would definitely recommend to try all their flavours, all of them are awesome. If you still need a personal recommendation, definitely go for their Taj special Mix Fruit and Chili Guava.
Bipin — Google review
Sure! Here's the expanded **250-word** version of your review: Taj Ice Cream – A Nostalgic Scoop of History Nestled in the heart of Bohri Mohalla, Taj Ice Cream is a tiny yet legendary establishment that has been serving hand-churned, preservative-free ice cream since pre-independence. Despite the chaos outside, this quaint little shop barely fits four people. The walls, adorned with framed newspaper clippings, proudly showcase its long-standing heritage, with mentions of ambassadors and celebrities who have visited over the years. What makes Taj Ice Cream special is its thick, creamy texture, unlike the air-filled versions sold elsewhere. The consistency is so rich that it creates an "ice cream pull"similar to the cheese pull in a pizza—a sign of true craftsmanship. It’s essentially India’s version of gelato, with a limited but excellent selection of flavors. I tried the **Mix Fruit**, where the natural sweetness and grainy texture of chikoo stood out, accompanied by hints of strawberry and melon. The **Apricot Tangerine** was the highlight—refreshingly tangy with real apricot bits adding a delightful chew. Each bite felt like a spoonful of nostalgia. Prices range from ₹80 to ₹110 per cup, depending on the flavor. There are no samples and no fancy names—just straightforward, honest flavors. Downsides? The AC wasn’t working, making the tiny space feel stuffy, especially at noon. However, hygiene was impeccable. Go for the taste, not the ambiance. Verdict: If you’re in the area, this is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates heritage, tradition, and truly exceptional ice cream.
Aisha W — Google review
Taj Ice Cream, known for its rich legacy of ice creams, offers a delightful experience for dessert lovers. The shop boasts an extensive range of flavors. I tried Roasted Almond & Chocolate, Guava, and Malai Ice Cream—each rich and creamy. Roasted Almond & Chocolate had a perfect balance of nuttiness and cocoa. Guava Ice Cream, topped with salt and spices, was a standout, enhancing its natural sweetness with a tangy kick. Malai Ice Cream was smooth and traditional, capturing classic Indian dessert flavors but could have been more creamier. Service was quick, hygiene was maintained, and the prices were reasonable. A must-visit, especially for the Guava Ice Cream!
Vishal S — Google review
This was indeed a great ice cream I had in my life. It's hand churned so the texture and taste was entirely different from what we usually have. If you are in south Mumbai you must visit this spot and taste their ice cream. You can book a free guided tour so that you can explore Mumbai with a local guide with ease.
Pranav S — Google review
A fantastic spot with a long history. The man who served us the scrumptious hand churned ice cream told us of the process of creating each ice cream flavour by artisans. It’s no wonder that this was the favourite of the stars of yesteryear’s Bollywood

A really small shop run by the owner. Underhyped place. The seasonal ice creams ..mango strawberry. Just too good. You might find chocolate to be okish.

Probably the best ice creams in Bombay. This is a family run establishment and it shows in their quality. The guava ice cream with masala sprinkled on top and the apricot-mandarin are my favourites.

Absolute chocolate and cookie and cream was tasty. But later we ordered maggi and pizza which was not that great. Maggi was fine but pizza was not good at all. Nice place for icecream only and dessert

Worst staff. They scammed us with oreo ice cream without giving oreos. The cashier guy is acting oversmart by managing without evening add oreo. Owner needs to take action.

They took a while to serve the food and some items were unavailable. But all that didn't matter much for me we the food was good and they have some games you can play as well such as Jenga and Uno. I would definately suggest you visit this place but with a group as it is more fun. One dish that I would suggest you get is the cheesy fries which are the best I have had.

1. Crispy Veg 2. Crunchy attack waffle 3. Cheesy Fries. Crispy Veg was amazing with perfect tangy sauce / flavour. It included Cauliflower, Capsicum & Tomatoes. Cons - Brocolli, Bell pepper, & Mushroom weren't there inspite of them informing us of these veggies. 2. Crunchy attack involves Butterscotch nuts and chocolate with caramel syrup. In my opinion the dough of waffle was very poorly made. The taste of caramel was totally missing. The waffle wasn't crispy and hard. They informed us that the machine wasn't working. 3. Cheesy fries were 10 ON 10 and they even provide extra cheese dip. Service is below average as the whole outlet is managed only by 2-3 employees. Outside sitting area is good option for group of friends. Inside sitti g area has 4 tables which is really contested.

Bina's Fresh Batch Ice Cream is a delightful gem in South Mumbai, born from the passion of homemaker Bina Doshi. This charming ice cream parlour began with humble beginnings and has since gained a loyal following for its unique homemade flavors. With an emphasis on freshness, Bina crafts only three to four batches each day using traditional churning methods with an Indian sancha, ensuring that every scoop is rich and creamy.
I tried Bina's at a food festival in R city mall yesterday. I was pleasantly surprised to see such nice icecreams now available in India. In singapore, I used to have icecreams which are mildly sweet but very flavourful, and there they experiment with different flavour combinations. I was craving something similar in india, and coincidentally tried kacchi keri and coffee almond at their stall. Amazing icecreams, best in india I had so far, given the type that I like instead of commercial brands. The staff at the stall was also very nice and made us taste other flavours like lotus biscoff, thai flavour and all were good! Amazing, and you might wanna think about expanding in India and abroad!

I ordered 5 different flavors. Taste is not good at all. 1 ice-cream's taste was like washing powder. Many customers reviewed them about not mentioning expiry date and ingredients. Still they are not mentioning expiry date and ingredients.
Shraddha P — Google review
Had chocolate hazelnut and Lotus Biscoff. Chocolate hazelnut was decent but the flavours are very muted. Lotus Biscoff has very little biscoff flavour, it's almost like a milk icecream with just small chunks sparsely placed in the icecream. Had the same two flavours at mockingbird cafe and they are so rich in taste.
Bhooma M — Google review
Bina's Fresh Batch is a hidden gem for ice cream lovers! I can't get enough of their Chocolate Hazelnut and Lotus Biscoff flavors – they're heavenly. If you haven't tried it yet, you're seriously missing out. It's like a little scoop of happiness in every bite! I love that they also offer sugar-free flavors that are just incredibly delicious. Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy a guilt-free treat.

Please beware. I think most of the 5 or 4 star review are fake. The ice cream is not at all of good quality as compared to price charged. After having this icecream my throat has been paining. The product pack doesnot have date of packing as well as the FSSAI details or any nutritional information as well. Please do not have there product if possible
Dhaval D — Google review
Had a chance to try ice creams from Bina’s Fresh Batch. I was tired of ordering from the same old places and yearned for something new. And thus I came across Bina’s. This is a homemade ice cream brand which comes with a new list of flavors every month. Here is what I tried. 1] Minty Dark Chocolate was a good blend of dark chocolate and a hint of mint, Tasted like a milder version of After Eight Mints. Sublime and delicious after a dinner. The Ice cream texture was smooth, thick and delicious. 2] Lotus biscoff was decent but requires a little more fine tuning. Probably using the Lotus spread would be better for flavor enhancement as opposed to using crushed Biscoff biscuits. I believe this was a good discovery. In my humble opinion, They do far better than Amul or Naturals. The Minty Dark Chocolate was even better than Baskin Robbins.

If you're on the hunt for a unique ice cream experience, look no further than Papacream! This delightful spot offers an array of innovative treats that will tantalize your taste buds. Picture this: a fluffy waffle base topped with rich Belgian chocolate ice cream, freshly whipped cream, and an abundance of chocolate chips. The warm waffle pairs perfectly with the decadent chocolate flavor and luscious caramel drizzle, creating a harmonious balance between sweetness and mild bitterness.
Unexplainable why this place has such low reviews. We were in the mall after an amazing lunch at Seesaw and wanted some dessert. We saw this quaint shop in the mall and decided on getting the Biscuit Crumble Ice Cream Cake Slice. My god, this was pure bliss especially given the Mumbai heat. This as pure heaven on earth, the ice cream was very smooth and tasty coupled with the crunchy biscuit topping was a delight. Highly recommend and we will be back for sure.

The Cheese Cakes are a MUST and a TOTAL avoid at all costs. They are not just cheese cakes atall, just some frozen rock hard dessert not even an ice cream... The CREAMS were rather good and made us go for the cheese cakes assuming that would be good as well , but regret buying the cakes. So simple stick to the cream ice creams skip the so called cheese and cakes ----Cheese Cakes...

I am not sure why this Ice cream stall has such a low rating. This shop sells very good quality of ice cream. They sell sugar-free ice creams as well. There are many ice cream stalls beside this but their price range was too high. Compared to those this stall has very good quality and tasty 🍨 at much lower price. Love the experience here.

Tried Papacream at Jio Drive Bandra. It's a small Icecream stall located on the second floor near food court. They have very limited icecream flavours, including a vegan option and 4 flavours of Icecream cake. Their icecream cakes are Icecreams in the shape and look of a cake, no sponge base. It's purely just Icecream. Strawberry cheese cake tasted good. Taste- 3/5 some of the flavours tasted kind of similar. Do try their holi special Thandai with gulabjamun. It's a good one.

Founded by Raghunandan Srinivas Kamath in 1984 in Juhu, Mumbai, this beloved brand has grown from a small shop selling Pav Bhaji and ice cream to an impressive network of over 130 outlets across India.

Diana M — Google review
As the name goes "Natural" ...so is also its taste. Since i recently visited this place in summer, i had to pay a visit here, cuz how can I miss tasting the delicious mango and chikoo flavoured icecream. Since these fruits have natural sugar, there is comparatively less sugar content in them. I could also get the small mango pieces in the ice cream. The beauty of this place is that they maintain the original flavours. It is not a frozen dessert (basically vegetable oil which is frozen) ,but it is pure milk and the choicest fruits in it. Some of those icecreams can also be used to make sweets. I have attached a photo frm which the QR code can be scanned to get those recipes. Thanks a lot!!!

This ice cream shop is renowned for its natural, flavorful ice creams made with real fruit pulp. The Tender Coconut flavor is a standout, often hailed as the best ever tasted. During mango season, the ice cream is topped with fresh mango pieces, creating an unmatched, delicious treat. A must-visit for ice cream lovers, the shop offers a natural taste experience, with Tender Coconut and Mango being absolute must-tries.

Reaching the location is very easy. There is ample parking space available on the road. The seating arrangement is perfect for both indoors and outdoors, the staff are well mannered and very polite. The ice cream served is of very high quality and I've suggested the location to many of my friends who all returned with the same positive experience. If I had to be critical the location is away from the market which in itself is a plus point too since you won't face any overcrowding.

Coppetto Artisan Gelato is a renowned gelato brand in Mumbai, founded by Chef Nikhil Jain who mastered the art of traditional Sicilian gelato-making in Italy. Since its establishment in 2017, Coppetto has been offering a delectable range of all-vegetarian gelato flavors such as fererro rocher, salted caramel, strawberry cheesecake, Sicilian pistachio, and raspberry sorbet.
Highly recommended the best gelato in town must try is raspberry sorbet pistachio and lemon sorbet. If you are someone who earns money yourself you might think it's a little expensive but trust me worth every penny the guy on the counter wil act shocked if you ask him about the cup size and price as he deals with only higher class people who have ancestral property but don't be shy don't get nervous ask questions if you don't understand and try everything every buy
Priyanka T — Google review
Coppetto Artisan Gelato in Bandra delivers an outstanding product in terms of flavor and quality. The gelato itself is truly top-tier. However, the minimalist (almost bare) ambiance and the severe lack of seating detract significantly from the overall experience. For a premium gelato shop, a more comfortable and welcoming environment is essential. If you're looking for a quick, delicious gelato fix and don't mind standing, this place is worth a visit. But if you value a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, you might be left wanting more.
Kunal — Google review
One of the better gelato experiences! The Sicilian Pistachio is smooth and leaves subtle notes of pistachio on the palette. The Dark Chocolate gelato is equally smooth and creamy! Also a good mix of flavours available. Not a lot of seating available. So it’s a quick in and quick out kind of experience.
Shrey K — Google review
One of the best gelatos in Bandra. They keep rotating flavours. The dark chocolate is always on point. I love their sorbets as well. Cones are always fresh and crispy. Slightly expensive but you get what you pay for!
AG — Google review
Overpriced ice creams! 🍦💸 While some flavors were decent, the price they’re charging doesn’t feel justified at all. 🤔 We tried the Sicilian Pistachio, and it tasted like pure essence, with no real pistachios in sight. 😞 If they’re charging a premium, they should deliver quality with authentic ingredients. Not worth it. 👎 1 star for Coppetto.

Absolute trash. The ice cream had ice crystals in it. No ice cream that isn't refrigerated properly desetves 240 rs for a tiny little scoop. Just shut down your trashy scam of a shop.
Melissa A — Google review
Let me preface by saying I love ice-cream. But whatever you’re getting here is only fit to be consumed by a trash-can. It is by far the worst ice cream I’ve ever had + it’s the worst customer experience one can have. If that doesn’t sound bad, don’t worry it’s priced at 250 for a small scoop of ice cream which is served in a pre packaged container which has ice formed in it. Disgusting taste and just a horrible experience overall.
Jayesh B — Google review
It was disappointing.. reading online review of 'boutique ice cream' was looking for some jazz some custom thing.. after travelling for almost an hour.. we discover there is not even a small place to sit and very weird arrangement just to select your flavour basis the board hung in front of you.. On ringing the bell.. person just comes and say quickly tell me your flavour. . Not a gd experience at all.. Only reason for 2 star is the flavours tasted different and nice. The dark chocolate sea salt was different an ice cream which was sweet and salt.. The lotus biscoff also tasted fairly decent... Priced at Rs. 240 for the 125 ml Cup.. not worth the price.. also not worth the effort.. time.. distance too.. No second time!

Limited flavours available for dine in which is not an issue considering the small scale and space in bandra branch. I asked him how much does Nutella sea salt cost as I would like to have that. After preparing it for me, he said no cash payment. I’m like seriously? I came for this after watching on Instagram and no heads up regarding the same. I did not have money in my bank account so returned without having it. Disappointed given the June heat. Headed to a gelato shop later.

Located in South Mumbai, New Kulfi Centre is a small and unassuming spot that offers a variety of traditional Indian ice cream flavors. Despite its name, it's one of the oldest kulfi centers in the area. The creamy and rich texture of their kulfis makes them stand out, drawing crowds especially on Sunday evenings. With 36 different flavors available, including classics like pistachio and mango, this place is a must-visit for anyone looking to indulge in some delicious kulfi.
These Kulfis are amazing. We had a really good experience and chatted to the owner and he gave us loads of different flavours to try. All delicious!! A must-stop place while you’re in Mumbai! Our favourite flavour was the mango!

Tried Special Mix flavour of Rs 100 and Coconut Crunch of Rs 80 and both were worth its price. The real taste of Kulfi and smoothness of rich Milk 🥛 really loved the place will try there another flavours in their new Branch in Kandivali West. Recommended 👍🍦🍨

If there is any place that has stood the test of time, it is this. Known as Chowpatty kulfi, this small little shop remains just as popular over the past 6 decades. No frills and no seats, so stand and gobble down your plates of kulfi or have them packed up to be enjoyed at home. They have a variety of flavours, but the classic ones are malai, pista, and kesar pista. As a child, I remember the thick slices wrapped in dry leaves, and the creamy goodness had me begging for more. Prices sure are steep, but that's should be expected. For those new to Mumbai, or have never been here, head down for a real Mumbai experience. They even have sugar-free varieties, which I tried and also accept digital payments.

Oh Dough is a charming bakery that offers an array of delectable cookies, freshly baked and served straight from the oven. The co-owner, Ritika Chawla, a Le Cordon Bleu graduate, crafts these delightful treats from scratch. The menu features classic flavors like chocolate chip alongside unique options such as double chocolate orange and cranberry balsamic. One standout item is the Chipzels - cookies infused with chocolate and potato chips for a truly distinctive taste experience.
I visited a cozy coffee shop based on Google reviews, and it lived up to my expectations. Should I talk about the theme, the service, or the quality of the cookies? Everything was perfect! I just wish the place was bigger, as it tends to get crowded. Other than that, I'd give it 1000000/10—super.. I am still dreaming about the warm creamy chocolaty cookies I had
Shamsa G — Google review
I tried their Triple Chocolate Chip with Rocher, and it was absolutely amazing—rich, gooey, and full of chocolatey goodness. The Nutella Cookies & Cream and Cookie Dough were also delicious, with a perfect balance of sweetness and creaminess. The Lotus Biscoff with Strawberry had a unique, creamy flavor that I really enjoyed. The cookies were soft, chewy, and packed with flavor—definitely a must-try! The only one that didn’t stand out as much for me was the Tiramisu, which was just okay. Overall, a fantastic place for dessert lovers! Can’t wait to try more. 🍪✨
Rashi S — Google review
We tasted almost all the flavours on the menu and liked dark chocolate the most. Other flavours were okayish. We had dark chocolate with salted caramel cookie. It was a 5/5 for us. However, I feel the place is too expensive for what it offers.

Love! Love! Love the cookies here😋 Their ice creams just melt inside your mouth and the taste is delicious.💯 Talking about the place its always a bit crowded but has a quite good vibe.

This is a small place - very close to Burma Burma, that serves variety of cookies and ice cream. I mean warm, crunchy and goey cookie along with cold ice cream is just an amazing combination - definitely one of the best kinds of dessert. This place is definitely on higher side - combination of cookie and ice cream would cost around Rs. 600 We tried hot chocolate as well, it was good not great considering its price and quantity.
Rohit W — Google review
The place is small with very very limited options, the service needs to improve. When i visited they allowed a female to use washroom and when i asked they denied though i was a customer and she wasn’t. Would not recommend you to go there they have just ice cream and cookies and nothing special. Incase this place is last option i would highly recommend you to go home and sleep rather waste money here. Coffee was bit okay.

The cookies are amazing and their combination with ice cream is something you can’t miss! It is a very small bakery in the lanes of Kala ghoda but please take time out and visit if you are in Mumbai!!

Right Place is a popular ice cream parlor and snack shop located in Breach Candy, Mumbai. It's well-known for its grilled sandwiches, soft-serve ice cream sundaes, and pizzas. The place is always bustling with customers from South Bombay and shoppers. Their signature dessert, Chic Choc, a chocolate Swiss roll with vanilla ice cream filling topped with melted chocolate and nuts, is a must-try on hot summer days.
Right Place Snacks n Ice Cream Parlour is a hidden gem! The atmosphere is so enchanting; it's like stepping into a whimsical wonderland of flavors. The 'Mystery Surprise' ice cream left me guessing with each bite – a delightful adventure for my taste buds. The snacks were like little bites of heaven, especially the 'Unicorn Popcorn,' which sparkled with magic. The staff's friendliness was the cherry on top of this imaginary dessert haven. Highly recommend, if you can find it!

I have been eating the famous sandwich here from more than 25 years. It used to be iconic earlier as such grilled sandwiches with liberal use of cheese were not available everywhere. Cheese used to be a delicacy 20 years ago. But nowadays it is available everywhere and at a lower price. Their sandwiches are still good but nothing new anymore. But the place is crowded in the evenings. There is no sitting place for eating. One has to stand on the footpath and eat. They also sell pani puri and chaat but it is not so great. There are better places for pani puri and chaat in South Mumbai.

The grilled sandwich is the ever popular one Taste has changed & the spicyness is no longer the same as before & they do not have any chilly sauce either. There is no place to sit & eat.

After hearing a lot about Right Place Fast Food outlet from friends, my daughter insisted we should visit that place. Its a small place with no seating, though the prices are very pocket friendly! It's located in Breach Candy, next to Premsons. Being Sunday this place was very crowded as this place has all kinds of evening snacks from sandwiches, smaosa, chaat's to ice creams and some farsans. we ordered 2 grilled sandwiches, one with cheese and one without cheese....the one with cheese tasted much better. . We also ordered their famous Vanilla softy, which was finished, so we ordered chocolate which too was sold out...only choice we were left with was the strawberry flavor. . overall, the sandwich tasted same as it would in any other outlet or cafe, so going all the way from Bandra to Breach Candy is a task in itself...you can get same food with same taste in the suburbs as well......only if you wish to go for a long drive, it's another thing!
ARIZA — Google review
I had heard many times about the sandwiches they serve here. Came here to have Veg cheese grill sandwich from Juhu, but the sandwich was great disappointment. Didn’t meet my expectations.
Yuvraj M — Google review
The place is quite good, but has a lot of scope of improvement as well! We ordered the Jain cheese grilled sandwich, and it was worth the price!! The seating space at the outlet is next to none, but the food is worth giving it a shot. The other options also seemed nice, but let's leave them for some other time :)

Sancha, a long-standing establishment, is renowned for its exceptional ice cream. Went to this place recently and tried the the Coffee Mocha flavor, which is a must-try for those who adore coffee. It had a delightful grainy texture, and the taste was simply outstanding. While it may be a tad pricey, the experience is undoubtedly worthwhile. Additionally, Sancha provides a seating area for customers, although securing a parking space in the evening can pose a slight challenge. 🙂

A 7 Bungalows institution. I've seen this place evolve over the decades and one thing has always remained the same: the quality of the ice cream is always top-notch. Growing up eating Sancha ice creams ruined the packaged mass-market stuff for me; nothing beats small batch, craft ice cream, and Sancha's continued success proves it.

The fresh mango flavor is particularly noteworthy, offering a taste so authentic it feels like biting into the fruit itself.
Various types of ice-creams that will stimulate our taste buds on the tongue.Nice seating arrangement, flavours suitable to people of all age group. Very nice place for ice-cream lovers, have plenty of options to choose from fruit flavours, chocolate flavours & the best part is the way they make ice-creams is best. Nice to see the way ice-cream is made. All staff are well behaved. An ideal destination for ice-cream lovers.

This place is very spacious instead of they only selling icecream . Nitrogen based ice cream is new trend now a days. Flavours are very delicious rather than normal box packed flavours. I visited here twice . Prices are little higher than B & R , Natural icecream, creamchills which are favourites among icecream lovers. We ordered choclate cookie cream it cost us around 80-90 rs. Worth of spending. People come here to have chilled spoon of ice cream after good light dinner. They have big competition from creamchills and Belgium waffle located on a same street. Take care of parking on this street they have odd-even parking criteria or your car/bike will be towed.

The concept is nice.. Something unique.. They make ice cream in front of you and not just serve packed blocks... The place was too crowded maybe because it was a Sunday.. Poor crowd management.. Had to wait literally for more than 30mins to get our order. Moreover it wasn't worth the wait.. Ice cream was just average.. Nothing special about the taste.. Infact I found it below average for the price...

Hello NOTO, Firstly I am a big fan of NOTO ice creams, and as I am on my weight loss journey, I love having your ice creams one in a while. I generally order a hazelnut ice cream bar that has nuts outside. But, my guest has allergies to nuts to I ordered a chocolate brownie, which shows no nuts at all in the packaging or the ingredients, but what i got inside is NUTS n the shell. I ignored for first time, but 2nd pack also had nuts. and I took a video of it. Let me know, how we can take this forward. Sorry, but I am going to complaint about the same. FOR FRAUD ADVERTISING / PACKAGING
Shweta D — Google review
Ordered 3 -4 various ice-creams via swiggy to taste their product based on their advertising. Received milk shakes instead of ice creams. No attention paid to packaging to ensure that the ice creams don't melt by the time they reach the customer. Even if the Swiggy guy were to deliver it in 10minutes, the ice cream would have melted. On complaining, they didn't care at all. No ownership of the product or the service. They need the complaint with 10-15 minutes to resolve. Basically, they want you to waste more time on their product and company to resolve the complaint. They know that any sane person in their right mind wouldn't want to waste their time on them and they would get away with it.

The experience was fine. Too much crowd and long queues and my tender coconut flavour ice cream didn't taste that great. Usually the coconut pieces are soft and tasty this time that wasn't the case. The rest of the flavours were good. They have a very small seating area.

A hard to miss place on Gulmohar road, an outlet which has been here for quite a long time. Renovated a couple of years ago and now has sheltered outside seating area for the rainy season. Here one can find ice creams n shakes in the flavors of the season like strawberry, mango, sitafal, etc. And also lot of all season flavors like coffee walnut, roasted almond, tender coconut, etc. Ice cream lovers have 3 choice to choose in the base i.e., cup, cone Or waffle cone, and 3 sizes in cups small, medium, large. One can choose to have a single scoop or double scoop ice cream. You also have an option of choosing different flavors in each of the double scoop. They also have shakes in the menu and it's available in all flavors present. However, the shake consistency is quite thin. I tried the tender coconut shake which was more like ice cream blended with some milk. There are chairs outside and inside there's an L shaped bench attached to the wall which serves as a seating area. They are open till midnight and more at times. All in all a great place to visit with frens and family even at late night.

From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond—guiding both kids and adults to the lift with care. Mr. Hanif and Mr. Solkar provided impeccable service, ensuring that my family was comfortable and happy throughout the meal. Towards the end, Mr. Sachin personally checked in on us and even surprised us with a complimentary chocolate dessert, which was such a thoughtful gesture. (The aunty in the restroom was also super adorable) As for the food, every dish was phenomenal. There wasn’t a single plate that disappointed. The precision and thoughtfulness behind each menu item were evident, making every bite a delight. I’m beyond impressed with Yauatcha and will definitely be returning—not just for the beautifully presented dishes, but for the incredible service and overall experience. Highly recommended!

Yauatcha is undoubtedly a fantastic fine dining experience! The ambiance is chic and modern, perfect for a classy night out or a special occasion. The food is exceptional, with a wide variety of dim sums, desserts, and other Cantonese dishes that are beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The service is impeccable, with attentive staff who make you feel well taken care of. That said, it’s definitely on the pricier side, so it’s more of a treat yourself kind of place. If you’re looking to elevate your experience, I highly recommend trying their sake, it pairs wonderfully with the food and adds an extra layer of sophistication to the meal. Overall, Yauatcha is a must visit for anyone who appreciates great food and a luxurious dining experience, but be prepared for a splurge!

If you are fond of Oriental Cuisine then YAUATCHA is a place for you in BKC It sets perfect cheerful mood as it’s in BKC , slightly away from hustle and bustle of Mumbai yet vibrant. Booking through Swiggy gives you discount as well as alerts. Atmosphere inside Yauatcha is great. Light music and Smily staff guides you till you are seated. A la carte & other options available , you can choose as per number of people dining. Food is amazing in taste and don’t forget to try different varieties of Desserts.

Sorry but food is pretty over rated. Not much flavor. Qty is also not that good for meats. Mayb they were busy in diwali season but when 2 guests spend close to 5.5k fr a meal without alcohol surely their money deserves better !!
Mohammed A — Google review
Went for the experience but stayed for the food. Every item we ordered was delicious. The drinks were a hit or miss though. We ordered 4 different cocktails, 2 were delicious 2 were not. I highly suggest everyone to try their dim sums. The hosts were extremely welcoming and warm but the servers were not. The server who took our order seemed disheartened to do her job and wasn’t very well equipped with menu and hence couldn’t answer our questions. But the manager on duty was very attentive and polite. He addressed our concerns quickly. I will of course visit again.
Siddhi J — Google review
The food was simple yet bursting with flavor. I enjoyed crispy prawn cheung fun, Shitake Mushroom Dim sum, poached peking dumplings, and finally the pork and prawn fried rice. The prawns were flavorful and the tempura batter added a delightful crunch. The mushroom dim sum and poached peking dumplings were decent, while the pork and shrimp fried rice stood out with its smoky flavor.. Overall my experience was good. Food - 7 Ambience - 8 Service / Staff - 10

Food taste isn’t as great as it used to be tbh…. Since Aditya Birla took over the prices have also gone up but the quality and taste have reduced. Quite average food though the service was spectacular by our server Saif…

Yauatcha is the perfect blend of luxury and culinary excellence. The ambiance is super chic and boogie, making it ideal for a special dining experience. The quality of the food is consistently top-notch—every dish is bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. I've visited multiple times, and it never disappoints. Tasty food, impeccable service, and an overall amazing experience. Absolutely worth every penny! Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates fine dining.

Masala Library by Jiggs Kalra offers an upscale and imaginative dining experience with its modern ambiance and eclectic menu. The restaurant, located in the bustling Bandra Kurla Complex, is a top choice for fine dining in Mumbai. Known for its pretentious yet marvelous dining experience, the tasting menu is highly recommended as it showcases a variety of small but satisfying portions.
Have been hearing about this place since maybe 2-3 years. Finally went there yesterday on my anniversary. Tried the tasting menu. It was a 9 course meal. Check the photo the menu and items. Every dish was unique and amazing to taste. Though expensive it’s worth a visit for a special occasion. Good food , nice service , great vibes.

Was always a big fan but my last visit was absolutely below average. The food was good but not we expect with masala library. The server played smart with giving us the mineral water and charging it. These things leaves a bad taste. Overall an average experience.
Jasleen B — Google review
Masala Library is located in BKC and it is easy to find. The restaurant comes from Massive Restaurants by Jiggs Kalra hence you should he prepared that the dining experience here will not be a traditional one. They have prepared a multi course tasting meal which has appetisers, mains and desserts and don’t think about the quantity as it looks less but at the end of the meal your stomach will be full and you will be definitely satisfied. The restaurant is spacious with fine dine decor and seats are arranged systematically. Loved the minimal approach and the dim lights adds nice touch to the overall ambiance. Went here for a weekday dinner and the kitchen service was on time and table service by staff Sanket & Nilesh was excellent as they knew the menu well and they were attentive and proactive. This time I won’t be explaining each and every dish as the list of items we tried was big and I have mentioned the entire menu below. In brief I can say that it was indeed a memorable dining experience as the dishes made here are unique taste wise and the use of ingredient wise. They have created something that they can only make and you will not get such dishes anywhere. It is pricey but you can go here to celebrate something special as it will make you happy. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 An absolute gem for food lovers! This restaurant truly stands out for its non-veg specialties — the Nalli Nihari is slow-cooked to perfection, rich in flavor, and melts in your mouth. The Fish and Prawns dishes were equally impressive — fresh, perfectly spiced, and beautifully plated. But the real showstopper was the Jalebi Caviar — an innovative twist that combines tradition and creativity in the most delicious way. Crispy jalebi pearls with a gourmet touch of caviar — simply outstanding! Great ambiance, warm service, and consistent quality make this place a must-visit. Perfect for anyone who appreciates fine flavors with a modern edge. Highly recommended! 🍴🔥 Sorry for only adding photos of half finish jalebi caviar.

I went a few years ago, so the menu will have changed. Masala library really set the scene for new modern cooking in Mumbai and they explored techniques that hadn't been seen in the city. The food in my opinion was good but not incredible, it felt heavy and sat in the stomach but that could have been what we ordered. I would like to go back to try it again

The Bombay Canteen is a trendy cafe and bar located in Mumbai, offering a unique blend of innovative Indian snacks and colonial-inspired cocktails. The restaurant's ambiance exudes a hipster take on a 1960s Indian canteen, with long tables set on mustard-colored, patterned tiled flooring. It attracts a mix of fashion-forward locals and well-informed tourists indulging in regional Indian staples with a Mumbai twist.
Best Restaurant Near Me in Mumbai: My banking partner who had already tried and recommended The Bombay canteen special non-veg dishes suggested this place. Luckily, we managed to get a table during lunch hours. The ambience was lively, and the staff was polite and helpful. Since I’m a pure vegetarian, we chose to stick to vegetarian options. On recommendation, we started with aloo chaat and corn. For the main course, we ordered malai kofta with paratha, followed by a delicious serving of kheer. The restaurant also has wheelchair ♿-accessible parking 🅿️ and entrance. recommended place for non vegetarians food lovers.

All the mocktails are forgettable. The food price is astronomical and portion size is miniscule. All the food recommendations were good but the dum aloo main course was awful. I don't understand why is this place so highly rated. We were 9 people and ended up trying up everything on the menu because the portion size was so tiny. Seeing the portion sizes, we considered going to Pop Tates next door.

I first dined here on my birthday and that meal has been one of the top 5 of my life so far. I also hadn't had a drink for over a year at this point so I wanted to try one and the bartender made a citrus based gin cocktail that I still think of sometimes 😂

Yo, just had the absolute blast of a dinner at The Bombay Canteen in Lower Parel—total Mumbai magic with a fresh twist! Walked in feeling hangry, left stuffed and smiling like an idiot. Started with their killer cocktails (that gin with local botanicals? Game-changer), then dove into the Khao Suey made with Maggi—yes, you read that right, it's genius comfort food on steroids. The stuffed aubergine was smoky perfection, and don't sleep on the barley salad; it's like a healthy hug for your taste buds. Vibes are chill yet buzzing, service is spot-on without being stuffy, and the whole place screams "we love India but we're having fun with it." If you're in Mumbai, drop everything and go—10/10, would devour again tomorrow. 🇮🇳🍲

With its Mughal-style decor resembling a royal court, the restaurant successfully combines ambiance and cuisine. It is known for being one of the most affordable dining options in South Mumbai, offering flavorful dishes to patrons.
We ordered Full Tandoori Chicken, mind blowing taste , well marinated, Flavours and tandoor aroma in every bite, Chicken was very fresh and tasty. Chicken Biryani was also too good, served hot. Chicken spice flavours were very much balanced, Chicken was also so well cooked and soft.. Amazing Food Service was prompt, served with a smile and he patiently waited to finish our starter before bringing the Briyani.. Very much recommended.

One of the tastiest Mutton Biryanis I’ve had — perfectly spiced and aromatic. The Mutton Kheema was rich and flavorful, and the Butter Chicken was creamy and comforting, just how it should be. Special thanks to Riyaz for the outstanding service — made the whole experience even better! Only suggestion: please start online reservations to cut down the long wait times. The food is 100% worth it, though!
Yash K — Google review
I was initially hesitant to try Delhi Darbar after reading some negative reviews on Zomato, but I’m so glad I decided to go ahead anyway. The experience was the complete opposite of what I expected — and in the best way possible! The taste was simply unbelievable. From presentation to flavors, everything was on point. I started with an appetizer recommended by the staff, and it turned out to be absolutely delicious — full of flavor and cooked to perfection. The Butter Chicken was the real highlight — not sweet at all, just the way I like it. Rich, creamy, and full of authentic spices. I had also heard a lot about their biryani, and it did not disappoint either — aromatic, well-balanced, and very satisfying. The staff was extremely polite and helpful, guiding me through the menu with some great suggestions. Their service added a lot to the overall experience. If there’s one suggestion I’d make — they should definitely consider adding valet parking, especially during busy hours. But apart from that, everything was perfect. Highly recommend giving this place a chance — it’s a must-try for food lovers!

Veg food quality is pretty average Non veg food better but not very good. Veg Biryani was fully like Pulav, roti and subzi ok, Chicken ok, Crispy Veg made was bad and not at all crispy. And the food was not at all worth the High Prices.

Visited Delhi Darbar recently and was genuinely impressed with their authentic flavors. The chicken samosa and mutton cutlet were absolutely delicious – perfectly spiced and cooked just right. The biryani was another highlight, rich in aroma and full of flavor. The only slight letdown was the mutton rogan josh, which didn’t quite match up to the rest of the dishes – it lacked the depth and richness I was expecting. But overall, a satisfying experience and definitely worth a visit for anyone craving good, traditional Mughlai-style food.

The picturesque location overlooking the Arabian Sea adds to its charm, making it a popular spot for both locals and tourists.
Tried the Sitaphal Fresh Cream and it was absolutely delicious! The cream was thick, fresh, and had generous chunks of custard apple. Perfect balance of sweetness and freshness. Haji Ali Juice Centre never disappoints — quality and taste are always top-notch. Great place for a quick, satisfying dessert, especially after a visit to the dargah. Must-try if you’re in Mumbai!

I’ve been visiting Haji Ali Juice Center for over two and half decade, and their fruit cream has always been a favorite! The quality and taste have usually been top-notch. They also serve pizza, sandwiches, falooda, ice creams and more.. However, my recent visit was a bit disappointing—the cream salad didn’t seem as fresh, and the taste was slightly off this time. Hoping this was just a one-off experience because this place has always been great!

We had ordered Kesar Falooda, it was quite filling and tasty. We had also ordered Orange + Guava Juice. This place is known for Sitaphal Cream, people come to take parcel to Pune or Thane etc. While the food and service was quite good but the seating area is quite small with just 4 tables as capacity. We wanted to try Club Sandwiches etc which is another highlight but wanted stay light on the stomach.

Absolutely delicious – must must try! Visited Haji Ali Juice Centre today and tried their Kesar Badam Pista Cream, Custard Apple Cream, and Mango Cream. All of them were super tasty and creamy, but the Mango Cream was my personal favourite – rich, fresh, and full of flavour. Yes, the prices are slightly on the higher side (₹1145 for 3 items), but totally worth it for the quality and portion. Perfect place for a refreshing break in Mumbai’s heat. Highly recommended if you’re around Haji Ali Circle.

Kofuku, located in Suburbia Mall in Bandra West, is a top choice for those seeking authentic Japanese cuisine in Mumbai. The restaurant offers traditional Japanese dishes and sushi in an East Asian styled dining room. Catering to both non-vegetarian and vegetarian guests, Kofuku provides a variety of options including cereals, grains, salads, and dedicated kids' menu. It's an ideal spot for a family dinner where you can savor the flavors of Japan.
A complete Japanese styled restaurant. Experience was amazing. People were so nice. A bit over priced. But considering the food quality and overall ambience maintenance, it is worth it. I had a nice time as the person also explained what's what and how to eat. looking forward to visit again. Good work. Keep it up.

My first visit to a Japanese restaurant. Loved the ambience and the food as well. We took about 20 mins to decide the order coz we weren't familiar with any Japanese dishes. Do some research on what you should ideally eat there so that you can order fast and save some time. Loved the Crispy Chicken Salad, Crab Sushil Roll and some Japanese Rice with gravy.

The only thing that shined for me was the salmon sushi. It was really good. I had high hopes for the miso ramen but I didn't enjoy it much. Overall its good for a change. From a price point of view it is expensive.

The ambiance of the place is nice. The menu is exhaustive and they have a wide range of options even for the vegetarians. The (veg) sushi is to die for! I have not had better sushi than this in mumbai. The rest of the food was also good, but the winner is hands down the sushi. Absolutely amazing. The staff is courteous and answered all our queries patiently. Murli, or waiter, gave great suggestions based on our tastes. We tried the sake shot as well. Pretty neat!

It was the cutest spot in Bandra! This is One of the best place to have authentic Japanese food. My first experience for Japanese food, and nothing can be better than this place. Had a few different sushi but the one I loved the most was 'Oh My God Sushi 🍣'. It's hard to describe taste of sushi, its a explosion of different flavors inside your mouth as you have it. Apart from sushi you should try Creamy Shrimp 🍤 Tempura it will sooth your soul - Shrimps have never tasted better !!! Mochi Ice Cream Absolutely loved the presentation of this. Pounded sticky rice with an icecream filling (Vanilla & Mango). The ambiance of this place contributes more to the authenticity. For an authentic Japanese cuisine and ding experience I would really recommend this place to all of you.

For dessert we had Mochi ice cream and Tiramisu. For drink we had a Kofuku special smoothie. Everything was so delicious especially the Shrimp roll. It is little expensive but totally worth it. The ambience was amazing. It's like we get a private room to sit and eat. Lovely experience with family. I will go again and try all their rolls. Note: Book a table in advance because it's very crowded cuz it's famous.

The food at Kofuku was pretty good. The Tuna Sashimi was not bad & the Tonkotsu Ramen was among the nicer ones I’ve had in India but nowhere close to the quality I am used to based on my many years living in Singapore & having visited Japan on 2 occasions. I enjoyed their California Maki but was disappointed by their Pork Tonkatsu due to several condiments & the signature thinly cut iceberg lettuce being served in a way that made for a portion size I was displeased with. The cutlet itself felt chewy in parts.Their ambiance is reminiscent of the many Japanese establishments I’ve visited in the past & the service staff seemed attentive & well trained. If this is the best Mumbai has to offer, we’re on the right path & perhaps once Japanese cuisine becomes more popular - we’ll have more variety & excitement to look out for in this space.

Spesso Gourmet Kitchen, located at Nariman Point, offers a relaxed atmosphere and an extensive menu featuring European and Mexican cuisine, with options for vegetarians. The restaurant is renowned for its crunchy taco shells filled with various ingredients and other fiery dishes like Cottage Cheese Mexican quesadillas, Mariachi burritos, and Supreme fiesta nachos. Their brunch menu includes popular dishes such as Tapas platter and Primavera pasta.
Spesso at Nariman Point is a really nice place to chill with friends or even for a casual date. The vibe is cozy yet lively, and the seating is super comfortable. Their pizzas and pastas are definitely worth trying, and the mocktails/cocktails are refreshing. I also loved their desserts – perfect way to end the meal. Service is friendly and the staff makes you feel comfortable. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but considering the location and quality, it feels worth it. Overall, a cool hangout spot in South Mumbai where you can enjoy good food and relax.

A great fine dining restaurant located next to Status Restaurant in Nariman Point. Offering a mix of Mexican, Italian, Chinese and Mediterranean fare with pastas, pizzas, lasagnas etc. When we visited they hsd some Mango fest. We tried the Mango Mojito and Mango Chilli Shots. The shots were good with right mix of sweetness and chilli flavour. For mains, we had a Bruschetta, Tadoori paneer pizza and Cheese and Jalapeno Enchiladas. Served with Salsa, Guacamole and Cheesy Dips. All were well prepared and were delicious to eat. We ended with a Begian Chocolate Truffle with Vanilla Ice Cream and the Tiramisu Della Casa. Good top up. Overall, good dining experience with a little bit of wait to get a table. Worth a visit though prices are on the higher side.

Spesso is a great pure veg spot, always buzzing with crowds. The food is top-notch in both quality and quantity. Must-try: Cookieza! Perfect for those who love rich flavors and generous portions. Recommended for a delightful dining experience.

Into the south end of Marine drive, this was an amazing restaurant. We ordered El Dorado a Mexican beans and nachos mix pizza it was too good and too huge that was more than sufficient for two is that we were unable to order anything else (had planned to eat more of the variety 😔) Dessert: Then we ordered the signature dessert chocolate hazelnut pot, it was good a bit overrated but worth every spoon. Waiting: One thing to take care is of the long waiting time even if you reach by 7 pm on weekends it has waiting of about an hour, although they have a very systematic way of managing the waiting which I really admired.

🥣 Khowshey Soup – Absolute killer! Felt like a whole platter with all the sides. A must-try 🌮 Seven Layer Nachos – Slightly cold but packed with Mexican flavour. The taste was good 🇲🇽 🥙 Hummus Platter – Smooth, melt-in-mouth perfection 😍 Best ever! Generous quantity too. 🍫 German Chocolate Cake – Darker than expected, but the ganache was rich and satisfying 🤎 Many other desserts here are worth trying! 🤵 Service – Huge shoutout to Ramkrishan, the best waiter I’ve ever met 🙌 Exceptional hospitality! Spesso can never go wrong

The tacos came apart when picked up . Had to eat them w the fork . It was all a mush . The salsa tasted like from a can. If we thought the tacos were bad, the nachos were worse . Soggy tortilla chips , a mushy , unappetizing topping , a lot of same bad salsa and the cheese sauce was very watery & excessive, poured on top . One of the really bad food we had . I hope all the other foods in the menu are not as bad and disappointing as this one .

PizzaExpress, a beloved chain pizzeria located in the vibrant Colaba district of Mumbai, has been delighting diners since 2014. This culinary gem combines a relaxed atmosphere with chic interiors, making it an ideal spot for both intimate dinners and casual gatherings. The chefs, donned in their signature striped t-shirts, expertly craft handmade pizzas that embody the essence of Italian cuisine.
Had a wonderful time at PizzaExpress Powai! The ambiance is modern and lively, perfect for a casual outing. The Dough Balls and American Hot Pizza were absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and baked to perfection. The staff was courteous and attentive throughout. Service was quick, and everything came out piping hot. Will definitely be coming back for more!

Went in here for a office team lunch with a prior booking on Zomato however got to know that restaurant also provides their in house discount based on office ID cards (do check on this before visiting) Ambiance is good and classy. Menu is bit overwhelming so do check with staff before ordering. We order couple of starters and pizza. Service was very very slow! Pizza took more than 30 minutes, as the place was busy churning out delivery orders at priority it seems. In starters, I liked their Chicken Wings - the outer layering was perfect crisp and had good flavours. Red sauce Pasta was a disappointment - flavour was too tangy for me personally. In pizza, the non veg one (forgot the name) tasted nice. The base was thin and marinara sauce as base was fresh and elevated the pizza. The veg pizza however was disappointing too many salad leafs were just planted on top of pizza which just didn't look good let alone the taste. Had to literally keep some of them aside. Presentation needs improvement. Overall we had a decent meal here, prices are bit high but discount deal helps. Cheers!

Love the ambience and the lighting here. Everything we ordered was super delicious and the service time was short. The Prawn skewers were cooked to perfection, you could taste the masala and the prawns were not overcooked. The spaghetti was very tasty and filling. Would definitely visit again.

Well the ratings speak for itself but still I would love to elaborate my experience at Pizza express Powai. We started with Cheese vegan meat balls and truffle potato crispers. Then we orderd lasagna and veg gardieniera with classic crust 11 inches. The marinara sauce with meat balls was absolutely spot on thou balls felt refrigerated. The lasagna was worth for the price so heavy and yet not compromised for the price. The pizza hit right on spot with the garlicy and chilli olive oil drizzle. Loved the combo. Sometimes I just can't believe it's british joint. The American sicilian pizza vibes and the taste is spot on.

Passion fruit I found it ok types. I can live here everyday it serves all my purposes at same time , love their ambience , interiors variety of cupcakes , pastries and macaroons , i quite like their coffee too In all a must-visit place for true macaroon lovers. Next time would definitely try a few other things from them.

Best place for desert. Though the size of the patisserie is a bit small but it serves amazing and eye catching macroons, cheese cake, cup cake. The price is a bit hyped so 2-3 pieces for desert is just perfect. They don’t provide delivery services plus the options available are limited and it may sometimes run out of shortage so hurry to grab your piece. Do try their sea salt and hazelnut macaroons and nutella & chocolate and salted caramel tarts.

A Slice of Perfection: Indigo Deli Review Tucked away in the Nine Dine food court at Jio World Drive, Indigo Deli is a hidden gem that serves up some of the most delicious and authentic European-inspired cuisine. My friend and I stopped by for a quick bite and tried the Margherita Pizza, which exceeded our expectations in every way. Margherita Pizza: A Masterclass in Simplicity The Margherita Pizza at Indigo Deli was a masterclass in simplicity. The crust was paper-thin, with a delicate crunch that gave way to a soft, airy interior. The sauce was tangy and rich, made with the finest San Marzano tomatoes. And the mozzarella? Creamy, melted to perfection, and generously sprinkled over the top. Each bite was a flavor bomb, with the perfect balance of salty, sweet, and savory. Ambiance: Convenient Food Court Setting As part of the Nine Dine food court, Indigo Deli offers a convenient and casual dining experience. The food court is well-maintained and clean, with ample seating and a lively atmosphere. Service: Friendly and Efficient The service at Indigo Deli was friendly and efficient, with the staff happy to answer our questions about the menu and make recommendations. Our order was prepared quickly, and we were impressed by the speed and accuracy of the service. Verdict Indigo Deli is a must-visit destination for anyone craving authentic and delicious European-inspired cuisine. The Margherita Pizza is a standout dish, and I'm excited to try more of their offerings in the future. Price: Moderate (around ₹500-₹800 per person) Recommended for: Foodies, pizza lovers, and anyone looking for a quick, delicious, and satisfying meal. Will I return? Absolutely, to try more of their delicious pizzas and European-inspired dishes!

I recently had the Spaghetti Aglio Olio e Peperoncino, and unfortunately, it was a letdown. The dish was overwhelmingly oily, with chopped garlic visibly floating at the bottom—a clear sign of imbalance. The flavor was mediocre at best, leaning more toward disappointing. Definitely not worth the price. The garlic bread ordered separately, was underwhelming—just a plain slice with a hint of cheese, lacking any real character. Overall, a subpar experience.

Indigo Deli in Lower Parel has recently relaunched and while we missed them dearly, we were happy to see them again, only this time with a full-fledged bar service. This is a larger space, has a newer vibe, a well-appointed bar and an exhaustive new short eats menu to compliment the bar. If you’ve been in Mumbai long enough and love enjoying a good meal, then chances are high that you must’ve eaten at Indigo Deli at least once. And the Lower Parel Indigo Deli has always been hugely popular, so when it shut down temporarily, many hearts were broken {we all knew it would reopen}. However, it recently re-opened and this time with a huge surprise. After years of having been around, Indigo Deli has finally launched a full bar service. Yes! Watch out for amazing cocktails, international and domestic liquor, plenty of beer and wine and more. And to go with these amazing drinks, they’ve also launched a new menu with bar nibbles. That’s right! You can now have a boozy evening at Indigo Deli while munching on delicious yummies. I suggest you try their Deli Handcrafted Cocktails, a section full on martinis {all for INR 485} such as Indigo Hot Toddy, Whiskey Sour and more; or their margaritas {all for INR 465} such as Fresh kiwi and mint. If these boozy concoctions weren’t enough, you could try some regular cocktails or drinks too. As companions, order for their delicious Harissa Lamb Sheek {INR 615}, Or their yummy and unique Beer Batter Calamari {INR 585}. Vegetarians, try their Moroccan Kebabs on Pita {INR 445} or Mushroom & Brie Golowti {INR 445} If you’re a fan of Indigo Deli and have always missed out on downing a few drinks with your food, then be rest assured because that department has now been taken care of. What remains the same is the core of the Indigo menu, some new additions, the well-known Deli known experience and the warmest of hospitality . P.S: The review is strictly depending on my personal experience.

The decor of the place is beautiful, which add ups to the experience because in India we have very few swanky ice cream parlours. Food - 4/5 Cookies & Cream Crunch The icecream scoop was yumm, the cookies pieces were the cherry on the cake.It was layered with ice cream, chocolate sauce, cookies and topped with cream. Loved the cream, and the first bite with the cream made me fall in love with it. Apsara Ice Creams is a delightful ice cream parlor that has been enchanting taste buds since 1971, thanks to its founder Nemchand Shah. Nestled in the vibrant area of Walkeshwar, this beloved establishment offers an impressive array of over 50 flavors, including nutty, fruity, kulfi, and chocolate-based options. What sets Apsara apart is its commitment to using seasonal fruits without any preservatives or artificial flavors.

The interiors are cute and match their brand colours. Even the decorations ✨ recommend you try out the ice cream flavours here, especially the Flavour of The Season. Apsara icecream is a renowned icecream parlour  brand of Mumbai since around 50 yrs. I believe as of today they have about 30 outlets in Mumbai itself. They also have outlets spread across other cities of India.I visited their Malabar hill outlet  yesterday night which is their iconic outlet They serve variety of icecreams in cups(small, medium.large)  as well as cones. Icecreams made here are with natural flavours and not artificial flavours. These icecreams are handchurned icecreams. Staff service is reasonably good at Malabar hill outlet but i personally have seen better staff service at other parlours.Definite scope of improvement on staff service front.Apart from icecreams they also have sorbets & shakes. Coming to variety of icecreams i tried here Guava glory (small cup)- Star icecream of Apsara for me .Try it with red chilli powder(peru chaat masala) on top of icecream .Highly recommended Malai kulfi stick -This about taking you back to sweet childhood memories. Its a delicious sweet dessert served on stick .You will relish it if you like malai flavour. They also have options in pistachio and kesar pista. Beligan bites (cone) -This i tried in waffle cone. This is all about enjoying Beligan chocolate with chips Scrumptious sitafal(small cup) -A perfect combination of icecream and exotic creamy fruit. This is dessert goodness at next level.I personally loved it Pan pasand(cone) - Before visiting this place.I had heard a lot of good things about their pan pasand icecream.Try this and you will thank me for recommending it Tamarind twist(sorbet) - Imli in form of dessert. This is innovation and experimentation at its best. This sorbet has sharp flavour of tangy tamarind. My overall experience was reasonably good at Apsara icecreams.A good option for late night icecream cravings. I genuinely hope to see them coming up with premium range of desserts in coming times. I didnt try their Thandai and couple of other shakes. Will definitely try it the next time i visit them Overall - Definitely worth your  money Check it out Saumil shah

Cant get over it.... caption of the place suits the name appropriately. Literally, one cant really get over the most delicous ice cream. Reaching to place and discovering its ambience; it was quite sapcious and eye catchy with bright colours. Very comfortable seating. Tried several flavours here. Having a sweet icecream with the spicy masala was a lovely twist. Had guava with its the famous peru masala and pani puri ice cream with puri and bundi was innovative in its own way. Fruitilcious ice creams such as orange and apricot icecream and blue berry cheese cake was yumm. Lastly the two chocolate flavours tried was creamy and nutty making the whole treat lovely. Coming to the staff, they were quite genuine and also helpful in serving the best flavours possible. Overall superlicious experience.

We had an amazing experience ordering ice creams from Gokul. The ice creams were super Delicious and creamy . I really like their icecream and even Shrikhand. Its not very sweet, and fruit flavours are also refreshing. What we ordered : Flavours : * Mango ice cream ( my favourite) * Roasted Almond (must try ) * Pink guava (something new and tasty) * Chocolate plain cream (kids favourite) Kesar Shrikhand ( must try ) All The flavours are so rich in texture and taste . We had the most delightful experience indulging in Gokul Ice Creams ! From their rich history since 1970 to their commitment to superior quality and taste . Their culture of values like Spirit, Pride, and integrity shines through in every scoop, making it a heartwarming experience. If you are a ice cream lover the. Gokul ice cream is the place to order !

Gokul Ice Cream serves lovely and delicious ice creams with a wide variety of fruit and nut flavors. The flavors are mild and the texture is creamy and milky, which many will enjoy—though those who prefer bold, strong flavors might find them a bit subtle. The ice creams are moderately priced, making it a good value for the quality. The shop is tucked away in a lane, so it can be a bit tricky to find. Parking is also a challenge due to the narrow road outside. Overall, it’s a great spot for creamy, mild-flavored ice creams—just be prepared for a bit of a hunt to get there.

I have developed a deep affection for Gokul Ice Cream for their wide-ranging selection of delectable flavors. I recently had the pleasure of savoring their Cheese Almond, Mango, Dragon Fruit, and Dry Fruit varieties, and I must say, their flavors are nothing short of exquisite. What better way to celebrate Ganesh Utsav than with the delightful offerings of Gokul Ice Cream, a true favorite among our family!

Gokul Icecream really serves the freshest and purest ice cream. Also the flavours are really good. Choco cream was amazing and my favourite with peach apricot. I've also tried dragon fruit and butterscotch. All the flavours are really blissful. You won't be able to stop at one scoop, I promise. Another highly recommended flavour - malai.

The place that serves the best cupcakes in the city. They have a huge variety of cupcakes and each one is better than the other. I love Boston cupcakery, when it comes to cupcakes they are the best. Recently I visited this Bandra outlet, the place is big and when I looked at menu. I saw many options compared to Andheri's outlet Following were the things that I tried: 1. Chicken Pesto Balsamic Salad. It was awesome I would definitely recommend anyone to try this its fresh and delightful you will love it 2. Hyderabadi Mutton Kheema. An unusual item in the menu of cakery shop that surprised me and made me to try it and it didn't disappoint me. The keema was perfect and I must say it is one of the best in Mumbai should definitely try it out. 3. Potato Rosti Waffle with Red Velvet Hummus with Rosti Waffle. - Amazing combination of Potato Waffle and red velvet hummus that will surprise your taste buds. 4. Nutella Well cake - You will definitely fall in love once you break the wall of cake and you see melted chocolate drowning down. Simply Awesome. 5. Nutella Waffles - Lovely waffles with melted nutella on top of it, served with vanilla ice cream and cream. Loved it. 6. Marshmallow Mudcake Cupcake Shake - Warning this one glass of cupcake shake is enough to make your tummy full and you will not be able to try out any other dishes. It was thick, creamy and delightful. 7. I tried few cupcakes. Nutella, Ganache, M&M, Blueberry & Caramel Sea Salt. Quality, Freshness and Taste is maintained. Overall a delightful experience and would recommend everyone to try it and it will not disappoint you for sure. Keep up the good job Boston cupcakery.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful ice cream experience, look no further than Natural Ice Cream. This charming spot specializes in artisan ice creams crafted from fresh fruits, dry fruits, chocolates, milk, and sugar. One of their standout offerings is the Tender Coconut Ice Cream—a refreshing treat that embodies Mumbai's love for coconut with its creamy texture reminiscent of coconut malai.
Located in Hiranandani Powai, small place as usual for ice cream parlor. Inside seating space available. All the flavors available of the brand. Kindly note if you visiting this place by vehicle this road is one way. No description is required with regards to quality as always very good. Only concern with the brand is that they keep on increasing the prices regularly.

We visited Naturals Ice Cream and tried the sugar-free mango and malai ice cream with mango pieces. While the flavors were nice, we were extremely disappointed to find a piece of plastic in the malai ice cream, which raises serious concerns about hygiene. To add to the experience, the staff was quite rude – especially the person serving us, who made faces when we politely asked for a tasting. This kind of attitude really takes away from the joy of enjoying a treat. Naturals usually delivers great quality, but this visit was a letdown both in terms of service and cleanliness.

Oh! Calcutta is a refined dining destination that brings the rich flavors of Bengali cuisine to Mumbai, offering a unique blend of nostalgia and global influences. With its sleek, whitewashed decor and comfortable seating, this fine-dining restaurant creates an elegant atmosphere perfect for seafood lovers. The chefs take pride in sourcing authentic ingredients directly from Kolkata, ensuring that dishes like pabda (butter fish), hilsa (ilish), rohu (carp), and bekti are as genuine as they come.
We had no idea what to eat as we are not Bangali..but one of the staff suggest us according to our preferences. We tried fried fish , prawns- matal chingri, mutton kosha and fish curry in mustard. Every thing was delicious. Nice ambiance. Helpful staff.

Oh! Calcutta, Andheri – A True Bengali Feast in Mumbai I dropped by Oh! Calcutta in Andheri for a late lunch, and honestly, it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a while. The restaurant is easy to find—right on the highway—and the vibe hits you as soon as you walk in. It’s warm, inviting, and has that polished-but-comfortable feel. When I was seated, I noticed these gorgeous white plates with vintage Bengali prints—they looked stunning and added a nice touch to the setting. Sadly, they’re just for show; you can’t actually eat off them. Still, great visual detail that sets the mood. I was attended to immediately, seated without any delay, and the service from there on was top-notch. The waiter was not only attentive but genuinely helpful—he patiently answered all my questions and even walked me through their specials. I started with the Calcutta Bhetki Fish Fry—boneless, buttery soft, and packed with flavor. It came with a mustard sauce and a curd-onion mix that completely stole the show. I even asked for a second helping of that mix—it was that good. Next came the Gondhoraj Shorbot, made with a special lemon sourced from Bengal. The waiter recommended it, and I’m glad I listened. Refreshing, light, and a total palate cleanser. A hidden gem. Then came the heavy hitters: Calcutta Mutton Biryani and Mutton Kosha. I’d always wanted to try their Kosha, but usually with luchi. This time, I asked if it would pair well with biryani, and the waiter said, “That’s the best combo.” He wasn’t wrong. The mutton kosha was incredible—thick, rich gravy with melt-in-the-mouth mutton. Easily the best I’ve ever had. And the biryani? Subtle, fragrant, and uniquely Bengali, with tender mutton, a boiled egg, and that signature baked potato. It’s not your typical masala-heavy biryani—it’s an acquired taste, but one I’ve come to love thanks to my Bengali friends over the years. For dessert, I went with the Baked Rosogolla—another hit. The portion was smaller than expected, but it packed a punch. Baked with rabdi, it was warm, comforting, and a perfect end to the meal. Oh, and they even offered a complimentary paan on the way out. Nice touch. Final verdict? Easily one of the best Bengali restaurants in Mumbai. Everything—from service to flavor—was on point. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.
Prasad K — Google review
Step into the rich flavours of Bengal... at Oh! Calcutta, Andheri West. Their vegetarian thali is not just a meal — it’s an experience. Tantalizing mocktail and flavorful appetizer before the thali experience. Started with mochar chop — crisp and spiced. Savor the creamy cholar dal with soft luchis. The highlight ... Paneer paturi — delicately steamed in banana leaf with mustard and aam kasundi. Pure flavor magic." "Add dhokar dalna, tangy tomato-date chutney… and wrap up with a comforting Mishti Doi and Sondesh— subtle, sweet, and soul-satisfying Special thanks to Mr. Shashikant. "Authentic. Aromatic. Absolutely unforgettable culinary journey.

I have been craving Bengali food for ages and finally found this. I am so grateful to have had my dinner here. Yes it is a bit overpriced for someone like me but in the end what matters is the taste which reminded me of my home. I ordered Rice with Dom Katla Jhol and it was just just awesome. I am planning to come to this place every Sunday as long as I am in Mumbai 😁❤️

We visited on Poila Boisakh when they were offering a buffet-only menu. There was a wide variety of both veg and non-veg dishes. I especially enjoyed the kosha mangsho with luchi, and the sandesh was a perfect sweet ending. Great value for money. We had a wonderful experience overall!
Arpita D — Google review
Like every year we visited Oh Calcutta! Andheri outlet today and usual the food was outstanding. Variety of menu was up to the mark and quality of food was constantly good. Mr. Souvik Dasgupta was as hospitable as always. Whereas when we visited the Vashi outlet yesterday for Ashtami buffet lunch, the food quality was very poor, lacked variety and even the taste was so not of the Oh Calcutta! Standards. Also to our surprise, they were serving fish fry with Basa filling instead of Bhetki. Even the basic Luchi was turned into Bhatura and also the rasgulla was way too rubbery in texture. I would recommend if more outlets could open, especially in Hirnandani Thane as they are many Bengalis here but kindly make sure all the outlets maintain the same standards of that found in Oh Calcutta! Andheri.

Felt like cheated with their season special malai strawberry ice cream Don't go on the size of the cup the icecream inside is only 1 scoop This cup costs ₹170 which is a good price if not cheated. But the serving contained only 1 scoop of malai ice cream and some strawberries, Why did I felt like cheated. If you buy 1 scoop of malai ice cream it costs ₹80 with taxes if they add 2 pieces of cut strawberry to it they charged ₹90 additional for it. Even I asked the quantity of the serving the sales person said it will come in double scoop bowl, but did not mention that the icecream quantity would be single scoop Oops! Isn't it cheating. We visited the store on a Sunday night, after dinner. Honestly after having the gelato,my daughter,my husband and I got a sore throat and cold! So visit this place at your own risk! The texture and flavour of the gelato were nice, exactly why we ended up having our dessert here, instead of cheesecake! (How I wish we would've gone for the cheesecake option). We ordered the half n half of - 1. Pistachio and dark chocolate 2. Pistachio and Ferrero rocher 3. Cookie and cream and Ferrero rocher This place is well priced, approximately 200 for a single small scoop, our bill was of 630rs with 2 waffle cones and 1 cup for 3 scoops of small gelato. Honestly we lost our wealth and health! I wouldn't recommend this place as we all fell sick post eating the artisanal gelato!

Nestled in a chic, minimalist setting with stunning city views, Yuuka offers an exquisite dining experience that showcases high-end sushi and other authentic Japanese dishes. The atmosphere is both elegant and inviting, making it the perfect backdrop for indulging in their omakase selections.
Delicious and the chefs were very friendly. If you catch them when it's slow, and are polite, you can try to order something off menu like the mochi. The prices are a bit high since they're importing so much, but if you don't mind that, then go for the sake and toro sushi. Ask if they have truffle icecream as well if you want to taste a whole new flavor.

Had a visit here today . The food was so so although authentic Japanese. Only if something was good in my Bento Box , it was the soup . And apart from that , the mocktail.
Pratik G — Google review
I don't know why people don't understand the necessity of a Japanese restaurant. The restaurant has to offer many good things. Place obviously 5/5 (The St. Regis) view undoubtedly the best onlooking its competitor the four season. Food is good as i am a fan of Japanese food. I try to get as many friends as possible because there is no authentic Japanese as good as yuuka.
Raunak G — Google review
This is a restaurant that is more style over substance - dazzling presentation with mediocre food quality. Lots of extreme presentation and fanfare with certain items such as serving toro sashimi on a block of ice the size of Colaba. They strive to be an authentic Japanese izakhaya but anyone who is a Japanese food lover will be disappointed. All of the sushi we had is was not up to fresh international quality standards and the same was true with the hot food items. We ordered lamb chops and requested medium rare but it was served well done. When I asked the chef about the mishap he mentioned that Indian clientele prefer food that is more well done. If you want to have Japanese food in a 5 Star setting with a great view of Mumbai then you will like Yuuka. If you have eaten quality sushi in locations outside of India such as Morimoto or Nobu then you will be disappointed in the quality and price point. One positive is that they serve fresh wasabi which is hard to find and to see it in India was surprising. I recommend Kofuku in Bandra West - reasonable price point and higher food quality. And you will find a lot of Japanese clientele there as well.
Sony A — Google review
When I came to Yuuka by Ting Yen the great. I was shocked to see the ambience as it was very fancy and I had not expected that. The food was amazing and Moti, the waiter had given us a complementary drink although we did not order any. He made the wasabi paste in front of us using the natural plant and was very friendly. He even took me to the kitchen to show me the different varieties of seafood they had. The seafood is weekly supplied from a famous market in Japan hence it is very fresh. I recommend ordering the Non-Vegetarien set menu as it has a large variety. The salmon and Tuna maki rolls were very good and so was the 40 layer green tea cake. I highly recommend this restaurant to all the Japanese cuisine cravers. All the recipes were very different and innovative.

Super Sushi ,unobstrusive ,great service. The decor is modern but quietly understated. Altogether the ambience and food make for a highly satisfactory dining experience
