Nature & Parks
Park
The Hanging Gardens of Mumbai, also known as the Pherozeshah Mehta Gardens, are a serene oasis perched atop Malabar Hill. This terraced garden is famous for its meticulously sculpted animal-shaped hedges and vibrant flower beds that overlook the Arabian Sea. It's a popular spot for families, offering well-laid pathways, a play area for children, and breathtaking views of both sunrise and sunset over the city.
Hanging Gardens is one of the famous gardens located in South Bombay. It's a pleasant place to sit and relax, good place to spend time with your friends and family. The cleanliness is maintained inside the garden, it's quite big to roam. I've been here a few times. People of all age groups can visit here.

Hanging Gardens (Pherozeshah Mehta Gardens), Mumbai is a serene rooftop oasis atop Malabar Hill with stunning Arabian Sea sunset views. It have terraced gardens feature animal shaped hedges, well-kept flowerbeds, and a charming flower clock, making it ideal for families, joggers, and photographers. Other side of the road Kamala Nehru Park, Also Known As The Hanging Garden. This Park has Special Iconic Shoe-Shaped Structure which is used to call mhataricha boot. You can sit there and enjoy the nature and beautiful surroundings. Highly recommended garden to visit if you're in Mumbai.

Garden is open to all, but haven’t seen pets around there. It’s called a “view point” it clearly provides a very beautiful view to marine drive and a must visit place in evenings. People come here to spend quality time or leisure time, it’s an attraction to tourist so many tour buses visit this point. Park is clean and hygiene is well maintained. Good for pictures in morning and for view you can visit in evening.

🏕️I recently visited Hanging Garden after many years, and honestly, it was a little disappointing. I had been here around 10-12 years ago during my college days, and at that time, the garden was absolutely beautiful. It used to be very big, full of colorful flowers, well-maintained green grass, and spacious sitting areas — the whole atmosphere was so peaceful and fresh. But now, most of the area has been reduced, there are very few flowers, and the green grass has almost disappeared. The beauty and charm which it had earlier is definitely missing now. I still remember how beautiful it used to be during my college days — full of greenery, colorful flowers, and spacious sitting areas. I miss that charm. Giving 4 stars only because of the memories attached to this place.😊
Kalpana S — Google review
One of the oldest and beautiful gardens of South Mumbai. It is already situated in a height in Malabar Hills. It has really scenic view. Lots of cats can be seen. A heaven place for Cat Lovers. The garden itself has many plants trimmed in shape of animals. Entry is free here. Please keep it clean. I have seen many littered wrappers.

Visited the Hanging Gardens on Malabar Hill, and it’s a fun and refreshing spot in the middle of the city. • Attractions: The famous giant shoe structure is a highlight, especially for kids and families. • Layout: Spread out across a vast area with neatly maintained gardens, pathways, and viewpoints overlooking Marine Drive and the Arabian Sea. • Experience: Walking down into the valley area gives a sense of space and greenery you don’t often find in Mumbai. • Vibe: Calm, breezy, and good for a casual stroll, picnic, or just some downtime. Overall, Hanging Gardens is a great place to relax, enjoy the views, and explore—a simple but worthwhile escape in South Mumbai.

Hanging Gardens, also known as Ferozeshah Mehta Gardens, is one of the most iconic and peaceful spots in Mumbai. Located on top of Malabar Hill, it offers a stunning view of the Arabian Sea and the famous Marine Drive, especially during sunset. The place is filled with lush greenery, colorful flower beds, and beautifully maintained pathways, making it perfect for a morning walk, evening stroll, or just a quiet moment away from the city’s hustle and bustle. The garden is very clean and well-maintained, with benches placed all around where you can sit and relax. The famous animal-shaped hedges are a big attraction, especially for kids. It’s a great place for families, couples, and even photographers looking for a scenic view of South Mumbai. The calm atmosphere and fresh breeze make it one of the best spots to unwind. You can also see the Parsi Towers of Silence nearby, adding a touch of heritage to the surroundings. The entry is free, and the place is quite safe even in the evenings. Overall, Hanging Gardens is a must-visit if you’re in Mumbai — a perfect mix of nature, beauty, and peace right in the middle of the busy city.

Hanging Gardens are directly located opposite the Kamala Nehru Park allowing visitors to explore both the gardens. Hanging gardens are constructed on multi level stone terrace giving it a hanging apperance. The gardens do not have wheel chair accessibility. The hanging gardens serve as a welcome escape from the bustling Mumbai life. The location of the surrounding area of the garden is sophisticated and upmarket.

National park
Nature & Parks
Sanjay Gandhi National Park, formerly known as Borivali National Park, is a sprawling forested park located in Mumbai. It is one of the largest and most popular nature reserves in India. The park is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, including tigers and leopards. Visitors can explore the ancient Kanheri Caves within the park, which are Buddhist cave temples dating back to the first century BC.
Sanjay Gandhi National Park Visit We started 2025 with a trip to Sanjay Gandhi National Park on 1st January. The park opens at 8 AM, and although the ticket queue was long, it was worth the wait. Entry tickets were ₹110 per person, with car parking charged at ₹50 per hour. We walked about 7 km, taking in the serene beauty of this lush green haven in the heart of Mumbai. The experience was delightful, with scenic mountains, dense trees, playful monkeys, and deer adding to the charm. The butterfly garden was another highlight, with pretty butterflies fluttering all around. The tiger safari, bus fair at ₹136 per person, was an incredible adventure where we spotted tigers, cubs, and a lioness. Unfortunately, we missed the toy train ride as the lanes are currently under redevelopment, but we’ll be back to try it on our next visit. With so much left to explore, it’s clear the park can’t be fully covered in a single day. We’re already planning a revisit to experience more of this incredible destination. Sanjay Gandhi National Park is a perfect weekend escape, offering a blend of nature and adventure. A must-visit for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with the outdoors!

Reviews need detailing as on reaching park we were guided by the personnel there to visit the amazing sites. 1.Entry in the national park Ticket-₹103 2.Services to kanheri caves the biggest attraction of the site Bus- ₹50 both ways per person. Van- ₹1350 both ways for the group. Bus of BEST - ₹20 from each side per person. There are buggy's also which take u to safari ticket counter not to kanheri so make your decision wisely.Ticket- ₹50 per person one way. And the visiting ticket to kanheri cave-₹25 /person. Total 109 caves worth seeing marvellous views especially in monsoon season. Then comes Lion safari- 2 km from main entrance,Ticket -₹ 136 per person. Bus will take you around for safari in which you will see lions, lioness, tigers and yes with full precautions. Museums can also be your choice but the adventure doing things I have already mentioned. To my view go to kanheri caves first as it is 7km away from main entrance and then enjoy the other things. I bet you will not regret only take a local to borivali station and 1.4 km away there u are SANJAY GANDHI NATIONAL PARK.

Sanjay Gandhi National Park is honestly one of my favorite places to take a break from Mumbai’s chaos. The moment you enter, it feels like you’ve stepped into another world — peaceful, green, and full of life. It’s hard to believe something this calm exists within the city. I visited early in the morning, and the air was fresh and cool. Walking through the forest trails with birds chirping all around was such a refreshing experience. I also rented a cycle and explored the park a bit deeper — totally worth it if you enjoy riding through nature. One of the highlights for me was the Kanheri Caves. Climbing up to the caves, with all the ancient carvings and the view of the forest from the top, felt like stepping into history. It’s both peaceful and awe-inspiring. What I love most about the park is how it balances natural beauty with easy access. Whether you're into trekking, cycling, photography, or just sitting quietly among trees, this place has something for everyone. I left feeling lighter, calmer, and a little more connected to nature. Highly recommend spending a few hours here — especially if you live in Mumbai and just need to breathe.

Sanjay Gandhi National Park Sanjay Gandhi National Park has a range of attractions to suit different interests and inclinations few of the prominent attractions that you should not miss while visiting the park top best is Kanheri Caves ,Photography ,Camping Activities include bird watching and trekking. The park is well maintained. One can enjoy bicycling by renting. One can enjoy boating.Rainy season is the best time for visiting full of greenery. Roads needs to be improved and playground for kids are in bad shape all the equipment are damaged and not functioning.

Upgraded the national park significantly. Last time I visited vehicles were allowed inside, but now none are allowed and the experience is much better with free roads to walk on, and less noise, pollution and more closer to nature Rental Cycles The shop is right after the gate, on the right hand side. The rental starts at 8am in the morning and is rented out pretty quickly. I went on Sunday and the rental cycles were rented out by 8:30am. The cost is very cheap (80 rs for 2 hours, and then 20 rs per 30 mins) as compared to rental outside the national park (300 for 4 hours minimum, and then 60-100 per hour) You also need to pay a higher ticket price if you bring outside cycles

Kamala Nehru Park, located within Mumbai's Hanging Gardens complex atop Malabar Hill, offers a delightful experience for families. The park features nursery rhyme-themed play areas and stunning views of the Queen's Necklace below. One of its main attractions is the iconic Old Woman's Shoe structure, inspired by the famous nursery rhyme 'There was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe.'
Very serene and peaceful place amongst nature and the forest. Went here for the Nature Trail experience and it wasn't too bad. Situated just below the Hanging Garden and winds it's way through a forested trail. Easy to miss the entrance, it's a small narrow path that leads to the walkway. Book early once the crowds and the heat starts it kills the feel good factor of the place.

Kamala Nehru Park at Malabar Hill is such a lovely spot to chill out. 🌿 Super peaceful, full of greenery, and the view of sea from the top is just wow! The big shoe house is fun and brings back childhood vibes, kids love it too. The place is clean, breezy, and perfect if you just wanna relax, take a walk, or hang out with family and friends. Definitely a cute little escape from the city chaos. 💚

Kamla Nehru Park at located at Malabar Hill in South Bombay is such a wonderful place to spend some time, sit and relax. There is a big shoe inside this park, which has been very famous for years, it's the main attraction of this park. It's clean and well maintained. It's a good place to spend time with friends and family. Hanging Gardens is just opposite this park. I had visited this park first time when I was a little child, visiting this place again feels very nostalgic after 2 decades! There is a walking track inside this park and properly allocated places to sit at various spots. It's a great place to visit, usually there's crowd if you visit on weekends.

Stepped into Kamala Nehru Park atop Malabar Hill, and it instantly felt like a childhood memory come alive—lush, serene, and whimsically charming. • Iconic ‘Shoe’ Feature: The giant shoe inspired by the nursery rhyme “There was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe” steals the spotlight. Kids can climb it, peek through its windows, and adults can’t resist the selfie opportunity. • Themed Makeover: After renovations in 2017–18, the park got a colorful nursery-rhyme refresh—think rainbow amphitheater, echo gazebos, a compass-view gallery, and quirky thematic touches. • Views for Days: Perched above Chowpatty Beach and Marine Drive, it’s one of the best spots in Mumbai to watch the sunset and see the Queen’s Necklace light up at night. • Serene & Well-Maintained: Despite its popularity, the park stays clean and peaceful—perfect for leisurely strolls, quiet reflection, or just a refreshing break. • Family-Friendly: Great for kids—whether it’s playing in the shoe, checking out the echo zones, or running around the flowerbeds. Bonus: entry is free. Tip: Mornings or weekdays are the sweet spot for a relaxed visit—crowds and heat can build up as the day goes on.

The nearest railway stations to Kamla Nehru Park in Mumbai are Charni Road and Grant Road, both on the Western Line.  You can walk approximately 20 minutes from Charni Road Station or take a local bus or auto-rickshaw from either station to reach the park, which is located in the Malabar Hill area.   Kamala Nehru Park is named after the wife of the first prime minister Pandit Nehru. One of Mumbai's premier gardens it is popular with young children and tourists. The garden has views of the Marine drive below – also known as Queen's necklace.

Horniman Circle Garden is a 19th-century circular park in Mumbai, surrounded by historic buildings. It was built in 1872 and was initially named Elphinstone Circle before being renamed after Indian independence. The garden features a central fountain and offers a serene atmosphere with leafy trees and green spaces, making it an ideal place to spend time outdoors. Visitors can take leisurely walks, admire the Victorian architecture surrounding the garden, and relax by the beautiful water fountain.
Horniman Circle Garden is a peaceful spot in the middle of Mumbai’s busy streets. It’s a well-maintained park with lots of greenery, making it a great place to relax and take a break from the city’s noise. The historical buildings around the garden add to its charm, giving it an old-world feel. It’s a nice place for a morning or evening walk, and there are benches where you can sit and enjoy the quiet atmosphere. A peaceful green oasis in the heart of Mumbai Fort area. Horniman Circle Garden is beautifully maintained with lush lawns shaded benches and charming circular layout. Surrounded by stunning colonial architecture and close to landmarks like the Asiatic Library it's perfect for quiet stroll or a short break from the city chaos. A hidden gem that blends history, nature and calm.

Horniman Circle Garden, nestled in the heart of Mumbai’s Fort area, is a serene escape amidst the bustling city. This historic garden, named after the Horniman family, is a beautifully maintained space surrounded by colonial-era architecture. It offers a perfect blend of lush greenery, peace, and a touch of old-world charm. The garden itself is quite spacious, with well-laid-out pathways, manicured lawns, and a variety of trees and plants that create a calming atmosphere. The circular layout gives it a unique appeal, and there are benches strategically placed, making it ideal for a relaxed afternoon or a leisurely walk. One of the highlights of the Horniman Circle Garden is its proximity to important landmarks like the Asiatic Society Library and the Bombay High Court, making it a prime spot for both locals and tourists to unwind. The garden is also home to various events and gatherings, adding a cultural vibrancy to the space. While the garden is tranquil, it’s not completely immune to the noise of the city, but it’s still a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of the surrounding streets. The clean, well-maintained environment is a testament to the efforts of the municipal corporation. For those seeking a peaceful spot to escape Mumbai’s frenetic pace, Horniman Circle Garden is a hidden gem that offers both beauty and history in abundance.
Amit G — Google review
Horniman Circle represents, perhaps the most dynamic of Urban design statements in the city with its strong sweep of finely articulated building facades, well-defined pedestrian arcades and innovative architectural details. Elphinstone Circle, as it was originally called, was one of the first commercial projects undertaken during the governorship of Sir, Bartle Frere. The Old Bombay Green, facing the Town hall was re-configured to create an architectural ensemble of buildings surrounding a circular garden. The garden laid out in 1869 was oriented with the Town Hall at one end of its radial axis and the Flora Fountain onwards the other. The buildings designed by James Scot were regulated to the strictest of architectural controls of fenestration, form and skyline. After independence this circle was renamed Horniman Circle which was dedicated to the memory of Benjamin Guy Horniman, an English journalist of The Bombay Chronicle who, through his editorial, strongly supported the Indian freedom struggle. In 2024 Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation restored the Garden along with Fencing,Fountain and its surrounds for Mumbaikars.

Water Kingdom is a family-friendly water park that offers a variety of attractions for both kids and adults. As the oldest amusement park in its city, it is part of a twin theme park along with Essel World. The park features thrilling rides such as high-speed slides, a wave pool, and a lazy river. It also boasts India's largest aqua play pool and ensures safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed.
Visited this place 4-5 times since 2010 to 2025, with family, friends and on a school trip. Had a lot of fun each and everytime. Not a lot has changed here, traditional slides. Every time I visited, there were 1-2 slides which were closed, but I am a wavepool person, so I don't really care about the slides. 😅 Staff is friendly, food options/outlets are good and have a variety. Food is costly though, so you need to plan your budget. One thing which can be improved on is the free water they provide, they can have disposable cups, so that hygiene is maintained and improve the quality of drinking water.

Water kingdom is situated near Gorai beach near Borivali. it’s really an amazing Water Park with a Fantastic Wave Pool! Water Kingdom is a fantastic spot to have fun with family and friends! It's a massive water park with a variety of thrilling rides and activities for all ages. The park is large, well-kept, and features a variety of slides and water sports. Especially lazy pool. Whether you're searching for thrill rides or a pleasant day out. Water Kingdom is a must-see! It has parking facilities at a cost of Rs 50 for the entire day. There is a shuttle service from parking to the Water Kingdom, which costs 1750rs per ticket. There are several food courts that are slightly more expensive, but the cuisine is of good quality. You also have kebab and beer counters. You can also plan Pagoda simply 5min drive likewise Gorai beach again 5min drive. Essel world is just beside water kingdom

Had a great time at Water Kingdom! Visited for just one day but made the most of it. The ferry ride was fun, and the slides were exciting and well-maintained. Perfect place to beat the heat and enjoy with friends or family. The staff was helpful, and the park was quite clean. Would definitely recommend for a fun water-filled day!

Visited Water Kingdom in Gorai on a weekday with family, and it turned out to be a great decision since the park was much less crowded. All the water slides were functional and well-maintained, which added to the fun. If you're driving, note that parking is available about 10 minutes away from the park and costs ₹150 for a four-wheeler. However, there's a convenient free shuttle bus service from the parking area to the entrance. Alternatively, if you're coming from Borivali, you can take the dedicated Water Kingdom ferry boats. For those riding two-wheelers, you can use the Gorai ferry service, which accommodates bikes. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience, perfect for a relaxed family outing without the weekend rush.

Amazing experience. Visit in off seasons & avoid visiting on public holidays N weekends especially in peakseason. Wave pool 🌊 is amazing. Food is amazing only they have to work on expand/rise/put more rides in water park. Otherwise best experience for us.

Compared to - if you have been here before Covid/before Essel World shut down, its a HUGE LET DOWN. The old grandeur is gone, its more of commercial establishment now, the place is not maintained to earlier standards, even the narrow approach road to the WK entry is crumbling. It seems that the place is dying a slow death. Water in the park(every ride) is littered with leaves and debris from the trees. Toilets are stinking, upkeep of general area is lacking. The Food(quality and quantity) has deteriorated is general, a fixed Special Thali(₹370/-) is advertised everywhere, its the same menu in all the Food Outlets(only 3 of the 5 outlets are operational). The staff - Attenders, Security and Lifeguards are all prompt and helpful. The merchandise store seems empty, as if they are on the verge of shutting down. For a ticket of ₹1200/- it’s not really worth the time and money. It’s just overhyped now. Advisable to visit only once if you are a tourist in Mumbai.

Amazing Water Park Experience!I I had a fantastic time at this water park! The rides were exciting, and there was something for everyone. The cleanliness was impressive, with spotless facilities throughout the park. Safety was clearly a priority, with lifeguards at every attraction. It's the perfect spot for a fun, safe, and relaxing day out. Highly recommend!

the food was alright and fresh next thing is there is no proper facilities for changing and showering , we had to shower in open space. The changing space itself has a big gap between door which was awkward......overall the rides were average but if you've visitedother waterpark before you might not meet your expectations of a fabulous waterpark. The water drinking facility had a weird pungent odor in water. I was really disappointed. I wish they would improve their facilities a little bit more

Right opposite Dharavi Depot, the park is sort of like a botanical garden. It's great for photographing butterflies and birds if you go early and during the right season. There's also a place to buy plants for Rs. 20-30.

A truncated yet preserved hideaway Three-fourths of a mile from Sion Railway Station lies an understated place, which not many would know. In what is probably the most littered, chaotic, and obstreperous locality in the city viz. Dharavi, this is a spot which has obverse characteristics. Enter through the gate, and one is about to walk from pollution to purity and from honking of vehicles to smiling of trees. There is a small nursery at the right side, so in case you want to buy some plants, this is the place. The close proximity near the circular education centre building has overgrown grasses which needs trimming and nearby, one can also see some mini paths losing out on directions. There are chiefly three trails, going towards the same direction, all of which merge subsequently. So, one may walk from one and return by the other. All the three trails are earmarked and have proper walking paths. One of the trail goes by the bay, the other goes through the middle of the park and the remaining one goes by the thoroughfare. I walked on all of them. The one by the bay has a slightly foul odour and gives you the view of the city ( BKC-side ), and one can spot some birds here. The best thing I found on this trail was walking under a small, half-open tunnel, created by the enormous Banyan tree naturally. The one by the main road has trees on both sides, but is exposed to the noise and honking of the vehicle, but this trail has some trees which the others don't, for instance the cotton ball tree. One common theme of the entire park is the sweet, little squirrels perching from a branch to another. Another sweet site is the colourful butterflies The tranquility of the park offers truly feels quite a luxury; strolling in the nature girded by the greenery feels amazing. There are a plethora of plants and trees in the park including the ones having medicinal properties. A significant majority of distinct trees have their names written on a stone, kept in front of it; I found this a nice and inexpensive way to let the visitors know about the names. However, there is no information given about these trees. Half the boards are withered and need a fresh paint. The entry fee is only Rs 20. There is only a single lavatory. The nature park is open on all days except public holidays.

A must visit if you are a localite or a visitor. 8.30 AM to 3.30 PM. Lot to learn not just for the children but for grownups too. Guided tour is recommended.

The best park to visit in Mumbai. It is very nature friendly. Very green, lush and well-maintained. There are many medicinal plants and different types of trees. Astral and butterfly park are beyond amazing. Nature trail is simply amazing. Only Rs. 20 entry. Photography (through DSLR cameras has separate charges).

Maharashtra Nature Park is a hidden gem in the heart of Sion, Mumbai, offering a serene escape for nature lovers amidst the city's hustle and bustle. This beautiful park is a vast, green oasis filled with a diverse variety of plants and trees, making it a perfect spot for anyone looking to reconnect with nature. Walking through the park's cool and shady trails is a refreshing experience, especially for a morning walk. The air feels cleaner, and the peaceful ambiance is a welcome respite from the urban chaos. The park's well-maintained paths meander through lush greenery, providing a perfect setting for a leisurely stroll or even some quiet contemplation. One of the highlights is the basic but charming nursery, where you can explore various plant species and perhaps even take home a green companion. It's evident that a lot of care goes into maintaining this park, and it's a delight to see such a variety of flora thriving in the middle of the city. A must-visit for anyone in Mumbai who appreciates nature and greenery. It’s a sanctuary that offers a breath of fresh air and a moment of tranquility. Highly recommended for a peaceful morning walk or a leisurely day surrounded by nature.

I think EsselWorld is a great spot to spend your weekend rather than going outside Mumbai. It has a Bird park , Water Park and Peace Pagoda. And most importantly, Greenery everywhere. I have created a full video and uploaded it on my YouTube channel. Name : Discover India with Uttam. Easiest way to go there is 1. First reach to boriwali railway station 2. Take bus or Rickshaw (10-15 min from the station) 3. Ferry ride of 15 min ( 100 rs ticket return Journey) Peace Pagoda don't have an entry ticket. It is a beautiful hidden spot in Mumbai. If you are planing Bird park then please visit in Oct - Dec. Hope it helps

#LetsGuide. Place for all audiences with a wide area of many attractions and fun. It has access for the disabled, local guide map of recreation areas. Very stuffed in breathtaking attractions the place stands out for containing a good performance to serve the public and with the same care, having equipment and toys visibly appears to be well cared for and eventually undergo inspections to maintain the safety of all. From water park to roller coaster, there will be no shortage of options for fun. It has unisex toilets, food courts with even good prices does not come as a surprise, allowing cash payments in kind, credit and debit cards (important to check the flag and bank to know if your card will be able to be accepted on site). Like all beautiful India and its imposing temples, the park has in the smallest detail what true India and its riches represent. I recommend it!

It is one of the best amusement park of India. The place contains the ride for children as well as for adults. One can spend a whole day here and have fun. The entry price is also fine but it doesn’t include all the rides, for some rides you will be charged at their respective counters. They have a theatre as well in the park. Their are two sections of the park one is the amusement and the other one is water. Regarding the price for the food it’s way too high and the outside food is not allowed which at last will help in increasing your budget. The place is good for friends family and children.

Visited this place on a weekend to have some fun. Here are notable points about it - 1) Per person fee is 700/- 2) the space is ok but on weekends it is crowded. 3) The authorities provide you shoes and jackets without any cost. But socks (if don’t have your own) you need to buy at 50/- per pair. 4) They have chargeable photography service available as well. 5) You can use your mobile phones etc. 6) you can feel snow / chilled environment over there. 7) Small skating and sliding court is there as well. 8) If you are going with kids, they gonna enjoy but make sure not to bring very young children inside as it is too cold inside!

As well as i liked food quality and service of Stuarts was great 😃 👍🏻 which I will give 8\10. 2 point i have cut for expenses was bit high by me and other is songs in party you can not demand. Kids will enjoy this replica of how snow lands are. Make sure to carry additional 1-2 pairs of socks. Avoid it you are allergic to cold as the temperature will be really low (like how it is colder areas) - red cheeks, etc. time duration is short but overall a good experience. Not much activities. They have skating available. Only thing you will hate is that you have to come out again in humid weather after 30-45 minutes of cold😁 Good arrangement for your bags and shoes (token system) They will provide all the necessary gears.

Its good amd fun but ticket rate is too much. 500 to 600 should be ok but 800 is to much. All other accessories are available but socks we have to purchase which is again beneficial to the owner not to us. They also take photographs but it is very costly. Those who have not gone to minus degree place then it is good experience for them but little bit costly. Otherwise it's good

Visited Snow World with my cousins, and we had an amazing time! They provided us with gloves, jackets, and shoes, which made the cold much more comfortable. The staff was very helpful, guiding us through the activities and ensuring we had everything we needed. One of the highlights was ice skating—it was a bit tricky at first, but so much fun once we got the hang of it! The atmosphere was fantastic, with good music playing and a cozy ambiance that added to the experience. There was also a designated area to rest, which was great after all the activity. We especially enjoyed the option of having tea, coffee, and hot chocolate to warm up in between sessions. The facility was well-maintained, and the snow play areas were perfect for some fun in the snow. It’s a great place for families or friends to spend quality time together. Overall, Snow World is a unique and enjoyable experience, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for some winter fun in the city.

One of the iconic places of Mumbai. It is situated at Malabar hill. The location on top gives a great view of the city. The place is very clean and well maintained. This is the beautiful part of Mumbai. And no one should miss it. As a kid I have many memories here, especially the shoe we call "Mhatari cha boot" means shoe of grandmother. It is almost 2 floor tall and only children below 12 are allowed. The other part of the park is also mesmerizing.

Amazing place to spend 3-4 hours. It's a versatile place with options for kids, families, friends outing, couples and solo explorers. It's opposite to Hanging Gardens and has boot house, green lawns, play area, echo point and places to click some timeless photos. A newly built Forest Walkway is accessible from the road adjacent to the park. Tickets for the Walkway could be reserved online or purchased on the spot. Reserve some extra time for walkway due to long queue in weekend. There is a viewing gallary outside Kamla Nehru Park that offers amazing view of Marine Drive and Girgaon Chowpatty.

Near to Doongerwadi, Towers of Silence of Parsis... The garden can be approached even walking from Girgaon Chowpaty by the steps... 2.2 kms away from Banganga Tank and the temple complex... Has separate kids play area... No entry tickets.. Maintenance of this place is much more improved than the past.. Renovated, given a new look...

A beautiful landscape garden. Bang opposite Pirozshah Mehta/Hanging Garden. Well maintained with lots of greenery and flowers all around. Wonderful water fountain, but unfortunately, it is not functioning. May be by end of this month the fountain will be functioning. Am sure all Mumbaities must have visited this place during their school days. A best picnic spot. It houses the most famous and liked by all children The Grandmother's shoe. A small water body housing lotus. Jackfruit, Mango, Ashoka tree.

Theme park
KidZania Mumbai is an indoor amusement park located in R City Mall, Ghatkopar, designed to inspire and motivate children through role-play activities. Unlike traditional amusement parks, KidZania doesn't have automatic rides or roller coasters. Instead, it offers a child-size city where kids can explore various professions and engage in fun tasks. This unique blend of entertainment and learning allows children to develop skills while enjoying a safe and engaging environment.
Excellent place.. 4.5 / 5 Lots of activities for children. Not much for adults for they can sit, have food, play couple of games and enjoy chair massage. Pass policies needs revision. Otherwise all good... Advise : try to avoid weekend and holidays. Considering size of place I think it must get overloaded.

It's a good place for spending time with your kids. Lots of role play activities available here. Recommend that kids have shoes for one adventure's rope climbing activity. Toddlers are having less activity compared to teenagers. I have taken 5 hrs tickets which I felt is not sufficient to do all the activities. Better to take a full day ticket. At the beginning you will get kidzania money around 30rs. This money will be used for performing activities. Activities are divided in two parts whereby kids will earn money for some activities and spend the rest of their activities. This way they learn financial management. The restaurant is available inside and has decent varieties. Once your time is over then your wrist band will be deactivated however if you wish to be there then it's absolutely fine. Sufficient car and bike parking is available. I recommend to definitely visit once with your family.

This is like different world for kids, superbly managed and concepts where kids love to take part in different activities, roam in excitement from one place to another, earn and spend money and thereby enjoying real life skills with fun. For adults, i would say its experience of watching kids enjoying with such excitement. There is animation story you could make, it was explained nicely by Ms Aisha. Overall a valuable experience for kids, with lighter crowd 5 hours is sufficient. Each activity takes around 10 to 15 minutes.

A wonderful place for kids! They offer a variety of fun and thoughtfully designed children-centred activities. One of the best places around — the role-playing sessions are especially impressive, where kids can earn and spend their own play currency.

We had an amazing time at KidZania! It’s such a creative and thoughtfully designed place where kids not only have fun but also learn so much through real-life roleplay. From being doctors and firefighters to radio jockeys and chefs — every activity kept them excited and engaged for hours. The staff was super friendly, organized, and made sure the kids felt confident and happy. Truly one of the best experiences for children to learn while having fun. Highly recommended for families!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Heartfelt Thank You to KidZania Mumbai & Princika Rodriguez! I had an incredible experience with KidZania Mumbai—not just for the amazing time my kids had, but for the truly outstanding support I received from their team. Due to an honest mistake on my part, I had booked tickets for the wrong dates. I was extremely worried as I realized the error only later, and I knew that rescheduling wasn’t typically part of their policy. Still, I reached out hoping for some assistance. To my absolute relief, not only did they hear me out, but they also treated my situation as a special case and kindly rescheduled the tickets. It may seem like a small gesture, but it meant the world to me and my family. A special, heartfelt thanks to Princika Rodriguez, who went above and beyond to assist me through the process. She was understanding, patient, and incredibly supportive throughout. I genuinely owe her for a lifetime—her help made what could’ve been a ruined plan into a cherished memory. Thank you once again to the KidZania Mumbai team for showing compassion and understanding. This level of customer care is rare and truly commendable. Highly recommended not just for the fun experience but also for the amazing people behind it! 🙏

Really loved the experience at KidZania. My daughter tried on various activities like doctor, pilot, dentist, police, medical practitioner, for earning and lots of lovely options for spending as well, like KinderJoy candy factory, biscuit factory, cheese factory. I had visited waterpark with my brother. Good experience. Clean park. But i went in the smaller rides labelled as for both adults and children. The person there did not advise me properly and i took the ride . However the slide was small and my leg was badly injured. The attendant there need to advise properly. What are they doing there?????😡😡😡😡 This was the only bad thing. Otherwise one of the cleanest parks.

Visited this place to attend a reception of a business client. Has ample space for car parking. Attended it on a weekday. The spread of food items was good. The place allows outside caterers and can easily accommodate approx 2.5k pax. The staff was courteous and its location at Ghodbunde road makes it convenient for guests and clients. It’s less of a water park now even though I’ve come to this place since 30+ years

Slides were good , water was clean , even on Saturday resort was empty , food is not so good , wave pool only works 4-5 time a day for 10mins each that not a I like personally, but over all it was good and better from those cheap resorts of virar ( not all but many ). Ticket price is 1000rs but I will recommend to add 300-400 more and visit water kingdom

Suraj Water Park Honestly, the rides are good and the place is clean, but the experience didn’t match the hype. First, they said we will get 15% off, but at the counter, they only gave 10%. Not cool. On top of that, the food is insanely expensive — simple snacks are overpriced, and the taste doesn’t justify the cost. It feels like they focus more on money than customer satisfaction. Overall, not worth the price. “Wouldn’t recommend unless they fix their pricing and actually honor their offers.”

Best place fire kids and adults recommend coming on weekdays or public holidays on weekdays because it is packed on weekends. The food was great and the child enjoyed it. The wave pool nearly drowned the child. The waiting area was great too had some antique cars. Great place though some slides utterly remove your skin off also some places life guard was sleeping on duty.

This is Bombay Port Trust garden so don't get confused as they are not two different places. The place in pics and actual look different as they have not maintained the place. Few points like the sea shore area and the cactus garden are an attraction, rest there is nothing to see. Best to avoid and come only during monsoon to see the greenery.

A good place to enjoy *Sunset*. This garden has entry *fees* of *Rs5* per head. It is located by the sea. Can hear the sea wave crash on rocks close by. Kids will have fun with all the play equipment they have. A path is laid around whole garden and can be used for walking and jogging. Fitness equipments are available for exercising. Atmosphere is very clean and green. Expect a lot of variety of plants and local birds to be around. Washroom are available and so is clean drinking water. Parking depends on availability of space.

Hands down one of the best gardens in South Mumbai. Maintained by the Mumbai Port Authority spanning 12 acres. If you try to locate this garden using Google Maps, be careful of the small lanes which lead to this garden as it can be a bit confusing. The garden is massive with a direct view of the Sassoon Docks and the Arabian Sea. When I visited the garden it was also raining which added to the beauty and landscape. The garden also has a small hillock in the middle and a glassed cactus garden. Plenty of flora. It also has rolling slopes and a long running track perfect for walkers and joggers. If you have a keen eye, you can even try to spot Mr. Ratan Tata's house from the shore. Truly the landscape is the best part about this garden. All in all worth a visit and with a bit more of maintenance it can be even better.

The park's Oriental theme is evident through its Asian lanterns and well-maintained landscapes, making it a standout among Powai’s many gardens.

No matter how much effort the authorities put into creating beautiful parks, the lack of civic sense among some locals and visitors continues to ruin them. This park is a prime example — littered with plastic bottles, wrappers, and snack packets throughout. Even the pond, home to koi fish, has not been spared. With proper maintenance and strict fines for littering, this could easily become the city's most beautiful park. A restoration is much needed, and once completed, introducing an entrance fee could help preserve its condition.

One an beautiful park but lack maintenance and civic sense among the people. The water not maintained so it's not good the fish 🐠 Hygin, Koi pond water quality is crucial for the health and well-being for the fish. Key parameters to monitor include pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, general hardness (GH), and carbonate hardness (KH). Maintaining optimal levels for these parameters, along with proper filtration and aeration, is essential for a thriving koi pond. But unfortunately Their is No one to take care of all this necessity and maintenance of the pond. Meanwhile visitor are very uncivilized and lack civics sense for throwing waste and plastic all over the place lettering onto a one of the beautiful location in city. Just because it's free doesn't mean you should be careless and through trash even tho snack and food ,plastic bottle as well as food rappers are banned still some people arrogantly sneak food& snacks inside and also throw it on the same place to show how uncivilized we all are.

The Mumbai Zoo and Botanical Garden is undergoing a significant transformation, with the addition of a Tactile garden designed specifically for visually impaired visitors. This new feature will provide an opportunity for those with visual impairments to experience the beauty of various plants and colorful flowers through touch. The zoo itself has also been revamped, offering improved visibility into animal enclosures, including underwater views of aquatic animals.
It was totally an awesome experience there. It was so clean and organized. We saw many animals there which were kept in a very comfortable place. Tickets are available for a very minimal price. Penguins were the best attraction. And the museum was extraordinary 😁.

Its in Byculla, near the station, me with my family saw mostly all the animals and birds got the chance to saw the tiger, bear and elephant too. It can be a fun outing, especially for families with children.

A wonderful one-day trip with family and friends. The place is very clean and well-maintained, with good facilities like drinking water and clean toilets. When we visited, the lion and elephant enclosures were empty, which was a bit disappointing. However, the Bird Paradise and the aqua bird collections were truly impressive. Apart from that, we enjoyed seeing sloth bears, crocodiles, deer, monkeys, hippos, and many more animals. A peaceful spot for a relaxed day out!
Sudipa K — Google review
We visited this place on the weekend and it is a must visit place due to its low entry fees (Rs. 50/Adult, Rs. 25 for Kid if without parents, for us kid entry was free for accompanying with parents) and also for its mind blowing greenery. The whole zoo and botanical garden is well maintained and all the animals are in good health & conditions. Specially the Penguins are too cute. Leopard, Hyena, Tiger, Jackal, birds, crocodile, turtles are beautifully viewable via glass view (under water view for crocodile). Park & Food Court also available inside the zoo. Parking is mostly used to be full and if parking is not available in the zoo, you can find the BMC parking nearby which will cost Rs. 50 only for many hours.
Ananta D — Google review
As someone who had never been to a zoo in Mumbai before, I was genuinely excited after hearing my mom’s stories and memories of it. So finally, I decided to visit — and here’s my honest experience. Right from the entrance, the zoo appeared well-maintained and clean. I appreciated how they strictly followed cleanliness and rules to protect the environment. One of the first animals we saw was the tiger. At first, it seemed extremely lazy and barely moved — but after quite a long wait, it finally got up and gave us a little show before we moved to the next enclosure. To be completely honest though, I was surprised by how few animals there actually were. I expected more variety, and it felt a little underwhelming to call it a “zoo.” Many animals were either not visible or just resting out of sight — probably because of the heat since it was summer. When we asked the staff, they told us that currently, only a limited number of animals live there. That said, there were some highlights! The penguins were super adorable swimming around in the cool water, and the colorful macaws were a treat to watch. We also saw a bunch of deer. Another plus was the number of food stalls inside. However, outside water bottles aren’t allowed due to littering issues — which I think is a smart move. Instead, they have drinking water taps inside, so I’d recommend carrying your own refillable bottle to stay hydrated. There’s quite a bit of walking involved, so wear comfortable shoes. Even though the animal count was less than expected, the experience was still enjoyable. Ticket prices were reasonable, but bottled water sold inside was overpriced. Overall, it’s a decent place for a peaceful outing — especially if you’re not expecting too much in terms of animal sightings.
T R — Google review
It was an amazing experience. I really liked the cleanliness of zoo and they have maintained animals very well. I would suggest everyone to visit this place atleast once. Just wear something comfortable as you would have to walk a lot.
Manukriti C — Google review
A Good Wildlife Experience. Visited Byculla Zoo (Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Udyan and Zoo) recently and had a wonderful time exploring the variety of animals on display. The zoo is quite large, so visitors should be ready for a lot of walking! One thing to keep in mind is that there’s no bag deposit facility, so if you're carrying bags or backpacks, you’ll have to manage them throughout the visit, which can be tiring. That said, the wildlife was truly amazing – the Tiger, Sloth Bear, and Penguins were the highlights for me! The zoo is well-maintained, and it's a great place to visit with family or friends, especially for kids. There’s also an in-house cafeteria/canteen inside the zoo where you can enjoy delicious meals, snacks, and drinks – a perfect spot to take a break and recharge during your visit. Overall, a good experience for nature and animal lovers.

Super fun place either in the morning or afternoons (it tends to get busy post 6pm...) and any weather is good because even if it rains there is ample places with shade provided to await rain to stop. Absolutely recommend this place for any adult or child.

I love this park with benifits of health to family around. I do see staff(security as well as housekeeping) are trying to keep the place safe & clean. To improve the facility they need to have training how they can improve with new generation. Place not up to mark in cleanness & watering to plant/grass cutting. For example MIG cricket club nearby is better in terms of caring for the public who are health conscious/maintenance. Pls don't confuse this park with one at Bandra West. Same name but both are equally good.

The High Court of Bombay, a grand Gothic Revival building dating back to the 1870s, features impressive turrets adorned with statues. Nestled within its premises is the Bombay High Court Museum, which offers a captivating journey through India's judicial system. The museum houses an intriguing collection of artifacts, letters, and photographs related to historical judgments and landmark cases, providing insight into the evolution of the country's judiciary.
I loved seeing the Bombay High Court! The historic Gothic architecture was impressive, and the atmosphere was full of energy. It was a great experience to witness such an important place in the legal world⚖️

The High Court of Bombay, known as बॉम्बे हाय कोर्ट in Marathi, stands as one of India's oldest and most distinguished judicial institutions. Established in 1862, it has played a pivotal role in the country's legal history and continues to be a cornerstone of justice in Maharashtra and Goa. Architecturally, the building is a masterpiece of Gothic Revival style, featuring intricate carvings, towering spires, and stained glass windows that reflect the grandeur of its colonial past. The court has been the arena for numerous landmark cases that have shaped Indian law and society. The atmosphere within the court is a blend of solemnity and bustling activity, as lawyers, judges, and litigants engage in the pursuit of justice. Visiting the High Court offers a glimpse into the judicial process and the rich legal heritage of India. It's not just a place of legal proceedings but also a symbol of the rule of law and democratic values. For anyone interested in law, history, or architecture, the High Court of Bombay is a significant and enlightening destination.

Visited the Bombay High Court on Independence Day night, and the view was absolutely mesmerising. The historic Gothic-style building, lit up in the vibrant tricolour of the Indian flag, looked majestic and full of pride. The saffron, white, and green lights glowing against the night sky created a patriotic atmosphere that gave me goosebumps. The calm surroundings made the experience even more special, allowing the beauty of the illuminated structure to stand out. It wasn’t just a visual treat and a reminder of our nation’s rich history and democratic values. Truly a breathtaking sight and one of the best ways to experience the spirit of Independence Day in Mumbai.

The High Court of Bombay is the high court of the states of Maharashtra and Goa in India, and the union territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu. It is seated primarily at Mumbai (also known as Bombay), and is one of the oldest high courts in India. The High Court has circuit benches at Nagpur, Aurangabad and Kolhapur in Maharashtra and at Porvorim in Goa The Bombay High Court was inaugurated on 14 August 1862 by letters patent issued by Queen Victoria, dated 26 June 1862, under powers granted by the Indian High Courts Act 1861. It was of the three High Courts in India established at the Presidency Towns, the others being Calcutta (capital of the Bengal Presidency) and Madras. The work on the present building of the High Court was commenced in April 1871 and completed in November 1878. It was designed by British engineer Col. James A. Fuller. It is a Gothic Revival building in the Early English style. It is 562 feet (171 m) long and 187 feet (57 m) wide. To the west of the central tower are two octagonal towers. Statues of Justice and Mercy are atop this building. The first sitting in this building was on 10 January 1879. Justice M. C. Chagla was the first Indian permanent Chief Justice of Bombay High Court after independence (1948–1958). In 2016, it was announced that the premises of the Bombay High Court would be shifting to Bandra Kurla Complex. The 125th anniversary of the building was marked by the release of a book, commissioned by the Bar Association, called The Bombay High Court: The Story of the Building – 1878–2003 by local historians Rahul Mehrotra and Sharada Dwivedi.
Imilyas G — Google review
The Bombay High Court is undoubtedly one of the most iconic and historic judicial buildings in India — its structure and heritage truly reflect the pride of our legal system. However, beyond its beautiful architecture lies a serious concern that needs more attention — the delay in justice and the large number of pending cases. Many poor and common people are struggling for years, waiting for their cases to be heard and resolved. Justice delayed often becomes justice denied, and while the system works hard, it is clear that there is an urgent need for faster hearings, accountability, and stronger judicial reforms to ensure timely justice for all. A court’s true beauty lies not just in its structure, but in its ability to deliver justice swiftly and fairly. I hope the authorities take steps to reduce pending cases and make the legal process more accessible for everyone — especially the poor and helpless who depend entirely on the court for justice.

Nice place to visit kids. You can spend the whole day here with family There are a lot of relaxing places. We visited on Friday so there was not much rush , so it is better to visit on weekdays so you can enjoy it more. All the rides are a little old but even with summer it was not that hot as there were lots of trees. The food was also good.
Pushpalata — Google review
Absolutely a hell for kids. Earlier it was good but since few months it's been a bad place for kids and even adults. The reason for the same are, 1. The water causes irritation, swelling and skin diseases. 2. Water smells very bad and i feel they do not clean regularly. 3. Chlorine content in water so high that one can easily smell once you enter the pool or any slides. 4. Skin gets tanned even after you apply a cream or ointment and tanning remains for even 2 months. 5. Toilets are always dirty even if you are the first to visit in day. 6. The place looks like haunted as the cleanliness is neglected. 7. The dinosaur park is a garbage and absolutely not worth visiting. 8. Other rides in the amusement park are hardly enjoyable, some are always under maintenance or closed and no attendant at all. The ticket price is Rs.999/person (without food) and additional locker charges are Rs. 200 (Refundable deposit Rs. 300), certainly overpriced not worth. Food and staff is only good thing in this water park but some items are over priced which is a normal thing in any theme or amusement I would really not recommend this place as it's a disaster and you will definately regret after visiting when you will have allergies and skin problem for few weeks 🤢

We visited Tikuji Ni Wadi Resort for a birthday celebration and had an okayish experience. While the resort looks great, there were some drawbacks. The offline ticket queue was quite long. Additionally, the tickets didn't include meal options, which was inconvenient. The pools and restrooms were well-maintained, though. However, the adventure park was a letdown – many rides had vomit stains that weren't cleaned properly, which was quite unpleasant. If you're looking for a less crowded resort, you might want to consider other options.

Visit on weekdays, weekends are full with crowd, especially in summer. Overall you can enjoy a whole day with family and friends. Good for kids as they have lot of rides.
Satish K — Google review
The place was fine until it got closed at 18:00 hrs and it started raining heavily on 10/26/2025. The security head or supervisor was so inhumane that he was telling his subordinates to tell all the customers to vacate the compound the only place that had shed in the vicinity. The main road was 500-700 meters away and we came here via radio cabs and as usual during rains no rickshaw, bus, cabs, radio taxi available. Mostly people come here for their kids and if they cannot provide a shed during the need then now it's time to wind up the business. I do not think I will revisit this spot again.

My visit to Smaaash, Lower Parel was nothing short of fantastic! The atmosphere was electric the moment we walked in — bright lights, energetic music, and a buzz of excitement everywhere. We tried almost everything — from bowling to VR rides and the cricket simulator — and each experience felt unique and thrilling. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they made sure we were comfortable throughout. The food and drinks were surprisingly good for a gaming venue — especially the mocktails! What I loved most was how the place brings out the child in everyone — you forget about time and just have pure, unfiltered fun. It’s the perfect spot to hang out with friends, celebrate birthdays, or just unwind after a busy week. Definitely coming back soon — 10/10 experience! 🎮🎳⚡️

I’ve been a huge fan of Smaaash and used to visit frequently because of the amazing games, well-maintained environment, and reasonable pricing. However, my recent visits have been quite disappointing. The bowling arena and other gaming zones are not maintained the way they used to be. What’s even more frustrating is the food experience. The prices have become ridiculously high, and when you compare that to the quantity and taste, it’s simply not worth it. I’ve attached an image of the menu—just looking at it is enough to ruin your mood. It’s disheartening to see how far the overall quality has declined. I really hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on bringing back the standards that once made Smaaash a great experience.

It's a boon for localites to have a getaway from the hustle and bustle and relax here for a while. One can even enjoy morning and evening walks here with their companions / families and also enjoy sunrises and sunsets. Garden timings are till 12 in the noon and 4-9 pm in the evening. Joseph Bapista Garden is one of the best places to hang out, spend time with family, breathe fresh air, walk, and enjoy leisure and recreational activities for kids. Located in Mazgaon, the best way to reach it is by getting down at Dockyard Railway Station, which is 5 minutes walkable distance from there. Once you get down from the station, you can ask anyone there about the garden, and they will guide you. The garden is spacious, and it's on top of the hill. So reaching requires you to walk a little. The garden has games for kids, statues of the seven wonders of the world, and open space for people to sit and relax. Outside the garden, you have food eateries where you can eat tasty street food too. This garden is totally one of the best gardens because it is hard to believe a spacious place like this is in the heart of Mumbai. So, I would suggest that you all visit with your family and spend a good time here.

Beautiful, but unmaintained garden in Mazgaon. A.k.a. Mazgaon garden for its locality. Has nice views & peaceful ambience. They have added miniatures of the older 7 wonders of the world. There are lamps to illuminate these structures as well as the garden, however, most of them remain unlit. Only two security personnel taking charge, that's too less. We need more security to take care of the garden. They don't allow anything of plastic, food material inside the garden. 👍🏼 You can find drinking water facilities at two places. However, the washrooms are in terrible state. It cannot handle even 5 people at a time. So, it on rush days, please make sure you are light. 'v'

The best part about this garden is there are lot of benches in the shady areas so you can rest well. Also this garden has miniatures of all the 7 wonders of the world. Make sure to see the timings before you visit this garden. I went at around 2pm and the garden opened at 3pm. So I had to wait alot.

Very good park. Lots of happy children having fun. Lots of adults getting some exercise. Free cold drinking water.

Medium size park with slides and swings. Located in a crowded area with loads of traffic. A model of aeroplane. Several benches. Guards will check your bags to see if you are carrying any food items. Restroom also available, free of charges.

The place is good for kids to play of ages 4-15. It's safe and there is water drinking facility. But there is no parking space for vehicles. There is no entry fee to pay. It's fun for kids ...The playground is also used for walking and jogging.

Nice place. Need maintenance for the airoplane demo. People have spitted all over the plane. The information of the exercise platforms are also becoming dirty. Only jogging track for joggers is properly kept.

There was ample space to play badminton and we weren’t disturbing anyone, yet we were thrown out—probably to protect the business of the adjacent paid sports facility, Balkanji Bari. Such is the pathetic state of India’s richest civic body.

Lions Juhu Children Municipal Park is an okay spot for a quick outing with kids. The play equipment is decent, and there’s enough space for children to run around. However, the lack of nearby parking can be inconvenient, especially on weekends. Overall, it was an average experience, good for a short visit if you're in the area, but not something to go out of your way for.

Its Good Garden, but Quiet Small and its located just beside the Road from two sides so its little bit noisy plus a Mosque also so the place is Noisy... But its good for Children as it has an aeroplane so kids love to go there.... Its also called aeroplane garden by kids...

Hakone Entertainment Centre is the ultimate destination for a fun-filled day with friends and family in Powai, Mumbai. This vibrant entertainment hub caters to all ages, offering an exciting mix of activities that include thrilling Go-Karting on a 200-meter track powered by Honda engines. Beyond racing, visitors can dive into various attractions such as simulators, redemption machines, billiards, and a dedicated LAN gaming zone.
Hakone is such a nice place to spend your weekend with your friends/cousins group doing so many fun activities! We had gone here for paintball it was so much fun experience, definitely worth it & must play if you have bigger groups Go karting had had 1 hr of waiting so we couldn’t go for it, but definitely looking forward to it soon again! Weekends are usually packed or there are long hours of waiting for few activities so it would be great if you all can go early or do prior bookings for these! It also has dashing car, pool, so many other different games😍 Would definitely recommend this place to everyone if you are planning for some fun activities with your groups then!
Drashti B — Google review
It was fun. I went after a long time to this place and there are a lot of new additions to fun activities. The only issue here is there are certain activities which require their card which needs to be recharged. (Like Timezone) There are other activities which don't need it and can directly be paid via cash/card/online There should be 1 theme either you take a card recharge it and it can be used for all the activities or keep it paying at the activity counter directly. It's a fun place to be with your family and friends and you can enjoy your weekend. There are few restaurants nearby as well which can be enjoyed post activities.

It has many places to eat like Hungry Heads (Most Recommended) Punjab Sindh, Chinese shops, Twisters etc. It has Go karting(Most Recommended), Paintball, 11D VR games, net cricket, car strike, gravity zone(Highly recommend) and much more.

Fun place for kids as well as adults. It has Go karting, Paintball and lots of other options for kids to enjoy. Slightly on an expensive side, but good for a visit once a while. They don't accept cards, so payment has to be done through cash only, which is a real pain (why?). Lots of food options available as well, just outside the park entrance. All in all a great place for a weekend family gateway for 2/3 hours. Must visit if you are staying in Powai or nearby areas.

Nice place to go with kids for a weekend evening. They have lot of rides for kids . Charges of each ride on weekday and weekend is different. Main attractions are gokart, virtual games and dashing car They have cards for games for 300rs it gives balance of 280 and for 700rs it gives 800rs of play. Right outside the entrance there are lot of good places for quick snacks with range of maggi combinations fries kababs etc Parking is usually not a problem around Must try : gokart and bullride
DreamFoodie — Google review
Nice place to spend weekend with family and friends. Lot of options to choose. Go-Karts, VR games, snooker, separate section for children. All types of food stalls available. On weekends, it is crowded and may charge more as compared to weekdays. Waiting time for Go-karting is about 1 hour. But you can buy coupons for go-kart, check coupon number on display and come back accordingly. Enjoy....

Overall a nice place to hang over and have fun with kids.

Extremely disappointed with the state of the garden. It appears to be mostly frequented by couples and college students. If the "forest theme" was intended, it seems to have been taken as an excuse for neglect, with minimal cleaning or maintenance evident. A well-maintained space would have made the garden more enjoyable for everyone

Most beautiful Forest-themed garden in Mumbai located behind Inorbit Mall in Goregaon West! The BMCs should introduce more such Forest-themed gardens all over the city as forests are the only lungs in this pollution filled city! When greedy real estate developers grab land, destroy the forests and construct buildings/offices, and then perhaps vacate the land due to high taxes, this is making Mumbai worst! Every year, there is a mass degradation in the air quality of Mumbai. The air is filled with smoke and dust particles. This mass destruction of forests all over Mumbai should stop and the government should take steps to prevent this menace. It's best if BMCs/Indian government take over land in Mumbai consisting of forests before the greedy real estate developers destroy the greenery and pollute our city!

This garden is situated behind Inorbit Mall, Malad. The garden is owned by BMC & well maintained by a private body. There is an entry fee of 5 Rs. for adults but it is absolutely valid considering the efforts & maintaince. In Morning time, the garden is used by people for excercise & yoga. But later especially in Evening the garden is mostly occupied by couples. The garden timings are 6 am-11 am & 4 pm-8 pm.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Park: Mumbai's Historic Heart Chhatrapati Shivaji Park, officially the largest park in the island city of Mumbai, is far more than just a green space—it is a living cultural and political monument woven into the fabric of Dadar. Established in 1925 and later named after the Maratha king, this 28-acre maidan has served as the epicentre of historical change, notably the Samyukta Maharashtra movement, and remains the hallowed ground for political rallies, giving it an undeniable gravitas. The park’s greatest current contribution is to sports. Renowned as the “cradle of Indian cricket,” it is home to prestigious clubs and practice nets where legends like Sachin Tendulkar and Sunil Gavaskar began their journeys. Watching the sheer concentration of talent practicing here is an inspiring experience, offering a glimpse into Mumbai’s cricketing soul. For the casual visitor, the expansive perimeter features a popular paved walkway, perfect for morning joggers, evening strollers, and those looking to escape the city's frantic pace. The atmosphere shifts throughout the day: peaceful and fitness-focused in the early hours, and vibrant with local life and street food vendors by dusk. While its historical statues and adjacent landmarks, like the Mayor's Bungalow, provide context, the park's true charm lies in its utility as a communal space where history, sport, and daily life converge. It stands as a vital, irreplaceable public lung for the city.
Bhavin P — Google review
Shivaji Park is far more than just a park; it's the cultural, political, and sporting heart of Mumbai. This sprawling historic ground, the largest in the city, breathes with a dual identity. On one hand, it's a hallowed space of political history, having hosted countless pre-independence freedom rallies and serving as the cradle for major state political movements. On the other hand, it's a vibrant, living recreational hub. Famously known as the "cradle of Indian cricket," its grounds are where legends like Sachin Tendulkar honed their skills, and even today, it's packed with aspiring cricketers, footballers, and volleyball players. For the everyday Mumbaikar, Shivaji Park is a vital green lung. Its 1.17 km peripheral jogging track and the famous katta (boundary wall) are perpetually filled with joggers, walkers, seniors, and friends chatting. It’s a place of community, fitness, and relaxation, buzzing with energy from dawn until late at night. Whether you're there to witness a passionate cricket match, take a peaceful stroll, or simply soak in the city's dynamic spirit, Shivaji Park is an essential Mumbai experience.

A Nature-Inspired Day at Ovalekar Butterfly Garden Our visit to the Ovalekar Butterfly Garden was an enriching experience that brought us closer to the fascinating world of butterflies and their ecosystems. Surrounded by lush greenery and thriving biodiversity, the garden offered a wonderful retreat into nature’s lap. One of the first highlights was spotting the beautiful golden chrysalis, a stage where a caterpillar transforms into a butterfly. Observing this delicate marvel reminded us of nature’s intricate design and life’s constant evolution. The guide, who was exceptionally knowledgeable, enthusiastically explained the importance of these stages, engaging us with detailed insights and fascinating anecdotes. We then came across caterpillars on host plants, munching on the fresh leaves. It was exciting to see these tiny creatures in action, contributing to the ecosystem. The garden also showcased vibrant flowering plants, which acted as nectar sources, attracting numerous butterflies. Among the unique flora we observed was the Sapota (Chikoo) tree, with its dense green leaves and small brown fruits. It was an excellent example of how such trees provide shade and habitat for various organisms. The guide pointed out interesting details about the tree, the lifecycle of butterflies, and the symbiotic relationships between the plants and insects, making the walk both interactive and educational. The butterfly garden was not just about butterflies; it was a holistic introduction to an ecosystem. We saw flowering shrubs like the bell-shaped pink flowers, standing tall and inviting pollinators. The garden’s diversity extended to the ground, where children delighted in exploring beneath the trees, uncovering fallen leaves and tiny critters. The intricate relationship between plants, caterpillars, and butterflies was the key takeaway from our visit. The guide’s in-depth knowledge and enthusiasm enhanced the experience, leaving us with a greater appreciation for nature’s delicate balance. From the golden chrysalis to the vibrant flowers, each element seemed to tell a story of interdependence and harmony. In the end, the Ovalekar Butterfly Garden left us not only with beautiful memories but also with a renewed sense of responsibility to preserve and nurture nature’s wonders.

Bird watching area
EsselWorld Bird Park, India's first interactive bird park, offers a unique experience with over 500 exotic birds from more than 70 species. The walk-in aviary allows visitors to get up close and personal with the fascinating avian world. Unlike traditional zoos, the park provides a developed rainforest habitat for the birds to thrive naturally. Accessible via ferry and mini train from Gorai, the park features a souvenir shop and amenities such as drinking water.
I visited Essel World Bird Park in the first week of July with my family, and overall it was a good experience. At the entrance area, there is a free bus ride that takes visitors from the main gate or ferry drop-off point to the entrance of the bird park itself, which makes access very convenient. The park has a wide variety of birds, and it’s very clean and well-maintained. One of the highlights was the helpful staff. A staff member kindly explained details about many of the birds and patiently answered all our questions, which made the visit even more interesting. The entry fee is ₹600 per person, and if you’d like to feed the birds and take pictures with them, it costs an additional ₹100 per person. Feeding times are around 11 AM and 3 PM—these are the best times if you want photos while feeding the birds. Although I was told that some birds can freely roam around with visitors, during July the weather wasn’t suitable for them, so they weren’t out at that time. I think winter (around December) would be an even better season to see all the birds active and enjoying the open spaces. Overall, I really liked the visit and would recommend Essel World Bird Park, especially to families and anyone interested in nature and birds.
Shashaank S — Google review
visited the Bird Park at Essel World and had a fun experience overall. It's more of a one-time visit spot, but definitely worth checking out if you're a bird lover. About 70% of the birds are in open enclosures, which gives a more natural feel, while the rest are in cages. They also offer bird feeding sessions in three time slots. A great way to interact closely with the birds.

Visitors can encounter a colorful variety of birds including African Grey Parrots, Blue and Yellow Macaws, Rainbow Lorikeets, and even Ostriches, all in a natural and immersive setting. Historical Background Inaugurated on April 11, 2019, the bird park was developed by EsselWorld Leisure Pvt. Ltd., a part of the Essel Group known for its iconic amusement park. Designed in collaboration with ornithologists and wildlife experts, the park aims to create awareness about bird conservation while offering a safe, engaging space for both birds and visitors. Best Time to Visit The ideal time to visit is between October and April, when the weather in Mumbai is cooler and more comfortable for outdoor activities. During this period, the lush greenery and active birdlife make the experience especially enjoyable. Timings and Ticket Information Open Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily Entry Fee: ₹600 for both adults and children Combo Ticket (Bird Park + Tic Tac Tot): ₹1,000 Facilities and Activities EsselWorld Bird Park is designed to be both educational and entertaining. They did not have ostrich when we went for Medical reasons. Since it rained overnight it was but if mushy and wet , they cant put pesticides hence put Mosquito repellent for sure. Though a small park but confirms the saying - Surprises come in small packets ♥️ This surprise pack has birds that roam & fly around happily, healthily & fearlessly...The birds in enclosures too look happy & contented...A wide variety of birds to see up close - Ostrich, Pheasant varieties, American Wood Duck, Cockatiel, Duck varieties. Swans. Geese, Hyacinth Macaw, Doves & more. Hyacinth Macaw was too shy to pose for a click 😉 We visited the park with our 5yr old twins...They were ecstatic..We had to literally drag them out of the park..coincidentally we visited around the bird feeding time so we could experience that too. The park is well kept & the attendants, known as Bird Friends, were approachable...they provided insights regarding the birds & their nature. A must visit; kids will thank you for this ♥️ Experience Happiness between 10a.m. & 6p.m. Park fees is Rs.600 per person (adult & kid alike)...

My Honest Review of Essel World Bird Park – Gorai, Mumbai 🌿🦜 I recently visited Essel World Bird Park situated near Gorai Beach, Mumbai. I’d rate the experience 3 out of 5 stars. Here’s why: 🔸 Bird Collection: The park is not very huge in size, but it does house a decent variety of exotic birds from around the world. You can also get pictures clicked with birds, which is exciting—especially for kids. 🔸 Educational Value: If you’re visiting for the first time, especially with children, it’s a fun and informative experience. They get to see and learn about birds that aren’t native to India. 🔸 Ticket Pricing: The entry ticket is ₹600 per person, which I feel is on the higher side considering the limited area and facilities. Worth exploring once, but not something I’d revisit frequently. 🔸 Hygiene & Food: There’s only one restaurant inside the premises and unfortunately, it appeared quite unhygienic. There are no proper eating options, so I highly recommend eating beforehand or carrying your own food to eat outside the park. Note: Outside food isn’t allowed inside, and bags are kept at the counter before entry. 🔸 Mosquito Alert: A very important tip—carry Odomos or mosquito repellent. The place has a serious mosquito issue, which could make your visit uncomfortable. 🔸 Tic Tac Tot Play Area: After the bird park, there’s a kids’ play area named Tic Tac Toe, which is chargeable separately at ₹600 per child, and if a parent wants to accompany, it’s another ₹600 for one parent. Honestly, the pricing feels steep here too. 🔸 Timings: The venue is open from 10 AM to 5 PM, and you can explore at your own pace without strict time restrictions. Overall, it’s worth visiting once—especially if you have a bird-loving child or want a new experience in nature. But go prepared, manage your expectations, and plan your food and repellents accordingly.

Good place for kids to learn about birds. Birds freely move within the huge enclosure. Twice a day bird presentation happens in which birds are shown & explained. Note:- food items not allowed inside. There is restaurant inside but food is just Ok & very limited options in their menu. Best option is to finish carried food before entering & survive inside with packaged water, drinks & snacks available at restaurant.
