Goa Portuguesa Restobar offers a vibrant ambiance with live music, serving a fusion of Goan and Portuguese seafood dishes alongside vegetarian options. The restaurant boasts traditional Portuguese decor and is known for its prawn rissois, stuffed crab, prawns Goan curry, appams, xacuti and pao.
I went to dinner with my family at Goa Portuguesa. As a Portuguese, I was very curious to know what the experience would be like. I really liked it. I had caldo verde as a soup, which despite being different from Portugal, was very good and was a pleasant surprise. I just thought it took a little while to prepare the dishes and the food, but apart from that, everything was excellent. The decor is very nice, the staff is super attentive, friendly and professional. At the end of dinner, the security guard at the door was very friendly and helped take photos with my family. I also had the opportunity to meet the founder of the restaurant, who was incredibly nice. I hope to go back more often in the future, and I will recommend it to all my Portuguese friends who want to visit Mumbai.

The place is on the pricier end but the flavours are worth the tag.
To be honest, it was amazing. One star less because I did not enjoy the bebinca. Otherwise everything was fantastic. The fish preparations are flavourful. The ambiance was a bit dim but it definitely gave a Portuguese house vibe, with the painted glass windows and roof. It was straight out of the costal life. The service was very good. The waiter was attentive and quick in service. Food in particular I enjoyed prawns .
Goa Portuguesa Matunga means the songs on guitar and the couple Dr. Suhas Awchat and Chef deepa Awchat.

I had Paneer Karanjee, which was fantastic.
Followed by very tasty Green peas potato chops.
In mains had Tender coconut cashew sukke, it was just so fabulous.

Thirty six years this place has been around, it was my first time.
There are three types of cuisines (Goan, south Indian and Maharashtrian), so the menu is extensive (too much choice?), but attractive photos of certain signature dishes help narrow down the choice!
In the end I opted for choriz pulao with a side of crispy bhindi.
Even for the super hungry, the portions are huge, perhaps with a view to sharing.
Towards the end of our lunch, it got a bit loud from larger, neighbouring tables.
The good news is that you are presented with a discount coupon to use for next time.
Visited Goa Portuguesa with friends, and one of them mentioned that this is one of the oldest restaurants serving authentic Goan thalis in Mumbai. Honestly, the food was amazing, the taste was so good that you just want to keep having more. We tried all three thalis, the seafood thali with fried fish, Tisrya Sukke, and Goan prawn curry, the chicken thali, and the Maharashtrian veg thali. Each one was delicious in its own way and truly comforting.
You can also try the tender coconut cashew sukke, prawns risoise, and the classic chicken vindalho paired with Goan poee bread from the menu.
Do not forget to try the Goan feni cocktails, our group really enjoyed them. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Goan food.
I had an excellent meal here. I was looking for sorpotel everywhere in Mumbai but I was only able to find it here. This one included pieces of liver which makes it more authentic, I think. The one I had in Goa only had the pork meat. It is quite spicy but still very enjoyable. I ordered a side of raita to temper the spice and also some poi to soak up the sorpotel. I only have two complaints; first, they don’t have still spring water, and second, halfway through my meal, as more people began coming in for lunch, they switched from the wonderful portuguese music they were playing to more mainstream western music. The restaurant itself is decorated nicely and homely. The staff were all kind and attentive. I would love to come here again and try more Goan dishes on my next visit to Mumbai.
Absolutely loved the food at Goa Portuguese every single dish was a hit! From the flavorful soup that set the tone perfectly, to the crispy Bombil that melted in the mouth, and everything else we tried on the menu it was all exceptional. The balance of spices, freshness of ingredients, and authentic flavors truly stood out. Easily one of the best dining experiences, can’t wait to go back! 🌴🍤✨

This is a Mexican Italian restaurant in Lower Parel opposite Palladium mall. From outside it looks small and clumsy but the space inside is big. The variety of food here is good and almost towards authentic.
You will love their soups and also the dips which are served. The only disappointing thing in their menu was the Bruschetta which apparently has a different every time I go there.
Their Pizzas are a must try. There is a live counter where the pizzas are made right in front of you. You can see the toppings and sauces being put on the fresh dough which is then put inside the oven.
A good place to rest and explore Mexican delicacy , has visited twice and was served well.
Especially vegetarian and vegan 🥑 pallets and lovers of avocado can take pot full bites after their shopping in the palladium mall.

We had the taquitos and the cannelloni pasta. The taquitos were really delicious - a unique combination of sweet and savoury, presentation was also very fancy. Cannelloni was quite cheese heavy and filling so we enjoyed that too.

Oye Kake is a small, unassuming vegetarian restaurant that serves up delicious Punjabi street food. Despite initial doubts about the food quality, visitors were pleasantly surprised by the flavorful dishes. The jeera rice and dal tadka were particularly impressive, with the thick and tasty dal tadka standing out. The pind de chole was cooked to perfection and left a lasting impression. While the kesar lassi was enjoyable, its large portion size was a bit overwhelming for some diners.
Oye Kake is a vegetarian Punjabi restaurant located on Patel Street in Fort, Mumbai. It is close to famous places like CST and the Gateway of India. The restaurant has a bright and colorful look with Punjabi-style decoration. The walls have fun paintings, and the furniture gives a dhaba (roadside eatery) feel.
The food here is tasty and made with good ingredients. The Amritsari Kulcha Thali is one of the best items. It comes with stuffed kulcha, spicy chole (chickpeas), salad, and curd. The kulcha is soft from inside and crispy outside. The chole is full of flavor. The Dal Makhani is creamy and rich, perfect with butter naan. The Paneer Bhurji and Rajma Chawal also taste like home-cooked food.
The sweet lassi and mango lassi are served in large glasses and are thick and fresh. They go well with the food and are very filling.
Prices are a bit high, but the quality and taste make it worth it, especially for special occasions or weekend lunch. Portion size is good, but not very big.
The staff is friendly and gives fast service. The place is clean, including the washroom. During busy hours, you might have to wait a little, but not too long.
Oye Kake is a good choice if you are looking for pure vegetarian Punjabi food in South Mumbai. It’s a nice spot for families, office workers, and tourists. The location is easy to find and safe to walk around.
Overall, it gives a happy Punjabi food experience in the middle of Mumbai’s busy Fort area.

Hotel Highway Gomantak serves excellent Konkani food with authentic flavors. The atmosphere gives off warm Konkan-style restaurant vibes, and the staff is friendly. However, I once noticed the fish wasn’t fried properly, which was disappointing. Despite this, it’s still a good place for Konkani cuisine lovers !
In a very long time, I wasn’t filled with such a subtle and home-blend restaurant. Calling it a restaurant might be over exaggerating because this place is run by a family and the authentic Goan food that they serve just makes you feel at home. This charming place is nestled right beside the highway, amidst a small colony of homes. It’s seamlessly blended in, creating an atmosphere that feels more like a family’s home than a resting place.
We have got the Surmai Fish Curry Thali and the classic Chicken Masala Thali. Both were just amazing and homely to taste.
Their staffs are very friendly and sweet enough that you feel like home.
While the quantity of food didn’t quite match the pricing, the quality was great.

A great fine dining restaurant located next to Status Restaurant in Nariman Point.
Offering a mix of Mexican, Italian, Chinese and Mediterranean fare with pastas, pizzas, lasagnas etc.
When we visited they hsd some Mango fest. We tried the Mango Mojito and Mango Chilli Shots. The shots were good with right mix of sweetness and chilli flavour.
For mains, we had a Bruschetta, Tadoori paneer pizza and Cheese and Jalapeno Enchiladas. Served with Salsa, Guacamole and Cheesy Dips. All were well prepared and were delicious to eat.
We ended with a Begian Chocolate Truffle with Vanilla Ice Cream and the Tiramisu Della Casa. Good top up.
Overall, good dining experience with a little bit of wait to get a table.

Into the south end of Marine drive, this was an amazing restaurant. We ordered El Dorado a Mexican beans and nachos mix pizza it was too good and too huge that was more than sufficient for two is that we were unable to order anything else (had planned to eat more of the variety 😔)

Then we ordered the signature dessert chocolate hazelnut pot, it was good a bit overrated but worth every spoon.

One thing to take care is of the long waiting time even if you reach by 7 pm on weekends it has waiting of about an hour, although they have a very systematic way of managing the waiting which I really admired.

🌮 Seven Layer Nachos – Slightly cold but packed with Mexican flavour. The taste was good 🇲🇽

🍫 German Chocolate Cake – Darker than expected, but the ganache was rich and satisfying 🤎

We were exploring different joints for meat experience. We came across this joint with a decent review. But it was the worst experience at the present time.
The place is congested and too cramped for enjoying and having a good meal. The person taking orders was really annoying and rude in both perspectives, not a person we would like to come across at a restaurant.
The food was really pathetic as it felt like paying a premium for Frozen food.
The Turkey, Duck, Chicken had the same sauce and the quantity was really challenging for a good eater. The food was over cooked and too stiff and chewy.
Pull Pork burger was the only thing which had good taste but zero for its innovation. Plain pull Pork with one lettuce leaf in a plain bun.
The app was really good for placing orders.
The place might have been a good joint, but recently the experience has been a great disappointment.
The food looks great in the photo but the taste and value for money and efforts to go to the restaurant is really not worth it.
Great spot for meat lovers, though the space is a bit cozy. Be careful of your head when sitting upstairs. We tried the smoked duck, buffalo steak, pork belly French fries, and a sandwich — definitely a lot of food to fill us up! The green apple drink was amazing, definitely a must-try. It's a perfect place for dates or meeting up with someone for the first time. Worth a visit!

The good thing about this restaurant is that the staff here is attentive, or at least it was to me, since when I went there I was the only person.
Food is just average in taste, especially the sandwiches. Not worth the taste that one expects from an establishment like this one. The entrance is also hidden and door of the cafe is kind of inaccessible.
Place is small but that is story of every other establishment in Bandra area. I, personally, would not visit again, as the taste of food I ordered did not convince me to be returning there. The service was good though.
I’ve always ordered pork spare ribs online from imbiss but since we were in the area we decided to drop in for lunch which was pretty late afternoon and almost closing time. However the staff was courteous and accommodated us giving us sometime to place our orders. So here’s what we decided to order: veg rice, Chicken Cordon Blue, ham burger, chicken paprika burger, jager schnitzel, pork smoke hotdog, chorizo rice and chicken escalopes with fries. Our order came in pretty quickly and the food was well made and good to taste. My experience at Imbiss was good and me and my family will surely visit again.

A place with a very bad hospitality. Especially the people who sit at the takeaway section speaks very arrogantly. A Non-Maharashtrain lady was curious about the various Mahashtrian food, she was just told to order quickly or buzz off. No sense of restaurant business, just enjoying the cream over the milk their forefathers have earned.
If you are taking away the food remember they charge for the container of the Misal as well, which you'll find no other restaurant charge.
Day by Day they are reducing the size of their containers of Misal( refer the photo). They have also removed paav from Misal and sell it differently which totally rules out the whole concept of the Cuisine.
Food taste good. But it costs too much for an extremely less quantity.

And I would say it is really worth the hype, food was really perfect in taste and their misal pav is must try with kothmbir vadi. Tea is sleep killer. I would love to go again. Must try place if you are vegitarian and near Mumbai Central railway station.

Not worth the hype. Though people say it’s famous but we found it very unhygienic. Photo of walls inside attached, you can see the gunk on walls and decoration. The washroom is in worst condition & smells bad. It can easily make you vomit. When their basic hygiene is worst, how can you expect them to have a clean kitchen & food hygiene?? Speaking of which, the dishes we ordered were loaded with oil and butter, - cholesterol packed - photos attached. We had to drain extra oil & grease before eating. Chicken was hard and not fully cooked also. Rabadi sweet was average too served with plastic spoons.

I've been here in Mumbai since Dec 2024 and I am writing this today ( 28 sept 2025) and I must tell you that the food here is amazing. I have seen the same thick redish gravy everywhere but here I got that little thin homlike gravy which was so good. I ordered chicken korma ( main course) with rotis (eat anyone it was better than the other restaurants) and chicken kebab and tandoori chicken (in starters)

I ordered Chicken Sanjubaba and Mutton Nihari — both dishes were tasteless and full of oil. There was no real flavor in the gravy; it felt more like spiced oil than a proper curry. Overhyped Place for Seafood Lovers!
Honestly the taste is very bland as we tried their Surmai, Pomfret, Chicken Thali. We also tried their Bangda and Prawns Fry but to our surprise nothing was quite upto the expectations as the food was not even a bit spicy.
When we asked one of their guys about the same, he said the Tisrya or Clams Masala would be spicy but to our surprise even this was bland and the Clams were half cooked.
Also we had to wait for half an hour as there were people waiting in queue & what was appalling was there was a table put right in front of the Wash Basin where customers wash their hands and face. I mean in today’s age, how do people even sit on such tables! Utterly ridiculous!
So if you are looking for a tasty seafood corner we strongly recommend not to visit this place.
Had a decent meal here, but let’s be real—the mutton curry was pretty laughable. The pitiful, tiny pieces of mutton which had a negligable amount of meat on them were some of the worst I’ve had in Mumbai, and I’ve eaten enough Malwani food to know. Cheap cuts used? At least the gravy wasn’t over-spiced, so there’s that but my wife found it a little on the oily side. Now, the real gems? The fried seafood. Bombay duck and prawns were on point—get them fried, and you’re good. Would’ve been perfect with a crisp cold beer, but well, no beer is served here. The service is decent, and the place is clean, but don’t expect to find it easily—signage is practically invisible, and you have to walk through a sketchy lane to get here. That said, I might come back for the fish if I’m already in the area, but it’s definitely not worth a special trip. You’ll probably enjoy it if you order right. Otherwise, it’s a decent but forgettable spot.

It's a very happening place and if you're with the right people you'll have a great time. The place is small but it can accommodate big groups too. The customers who visit this place are youngsters and couples so I wouldn't recommend this place for a family outing unless you're comfortable with people smoking around as that's allowed.
The menu is mainly North Indian but it also covers dishes from various other cuisines too.
I ordered few Fish and Chicken starters and they truly were delicious. The food had the perfect balance of spices and tasted brilliant. The Fish and the Chicken both were fresh and enjoyable to eat. The sauces which had come along with the food had a unique taste which blended with the starters and made it amazing. The food was really appetizing.
The quality was great but the quantity was poor. The place isn't inexpensive.
The service was very poor and that's what needs improvement. The restaurant is good but it's service really spoils the mood. When I visited the restaurant the staff was really slow, felt bored and least interested.
Visited with friends a few days back. Liked the experience very much. It was a Monday evening so the crowd was thin.
The food was great. Quantity could have been a little bit more. But the taste was good. We did have any complains with the service either. We were served with the minimal of wait times.
They have a dish called Bunny Chow in which a hollowed out bun filled with gravy is presented. See the pics.

Something very unique we had here was this bunny chow where a bread bun was cut from the top and the interior of the bread bun was carved to accomodate paneer tikka sabzi. Turns out that paneer tikka with bread was not a bad idea. It tasted awesome and the paneer was really soft with the bread which gave a really awesome feel in the bite
*Khatte pyaaz ka paneer*
This was something really awesome as the "khatte pyaaz" gave a serious idea to make your onions taste sour and awesome. The blend of onions dipped in vinegar, with paneer and gravy which is perfect in spice made this awesome

We would say, you haven't ate a dal makhni this awesome in your life (unless your mom cooks it better) We haven't had any dal makhni this great which was so creamy, and the goodness of the urad daal and rajma gave it a healthy twist in protein.
Overall, the outlet serves awesome food with decent ambience overall. The staff is cooperative and the rate is pretty average and not costly. Go check them out!
Ticca Tikka is the wonderful place which is located in Andheri Lokhandwala near DN Nagar metro station. The ambience is so pretty good. The food is delicious. The price of food also suitable for dishes. Staff is also polite in nature. The superb taste of every disheswhich I haved tried there. Overall excellent experience, must visit once.

They serve some delicious kebabs. My personal fav one is kalmiri kebab and trust me they are mind blowing to the next level each and every bite leaves an amazing taste in your mouth. We tried their Veg Cheese Grilled Sandwich and Cold Coffee.
The sandwich was to die for!! It so was good! Three layered bread with vegetables and cheese loaded stuffing. It was worth the price.

The restaurant is decent in size with indoor and outdoor seatings available.the outdoor section have steel tables and chairs and the inner section have sofa seating and have AC as well.
This is a vegetarian restaurant and they specialise in North Indian and Chinese cuisine. The menu is huge with a lot to choose from. Prices are not too high and the quantity served is satisfying.

I'm a big fan of this local eatery located in Fort, south Mumbai. You can taste the most authentic Goan fish curry here. The place is kNown for the fish only. Chicken and Mutton dishes are also in Goan style.
Also there's no nonsense of pricing as per size of the fishes. The rates are fixed for the simple thali, which includes chapati, rice, fried fish, fish curry. No fancy thali like other restaurants which has lots of items but no taste. I love this place for their quality.

Serving great food since 1958. Had the prawns , surmai and bombil. Was excellent. A thail cost between 200 to 300. Totally worth it. The owner saw that our curry was over he immediately refilled it for free oh the food was Goan cuisine.

Some summers ago, one hungry afternoon, felt like having Costal Maharashtrian food, so headed towards Pradeep Gomantak, looking forward to a hearty meal..
Its a good 10mts walk frm my office and by the time i reached, was famished.
As i neared, my heart sank as the place was closed! Dissapointed, was about to turn back (cursing them in my mind) when i saw a Paper stuck on the door.
Half expecting some tragic news as reason for their closure, what i read was simply incredible:

Also for the food they offer, it's always worth the wait. There is not much parking space outside however some how near over there u can adjust your car/bike. They accept both credit card and cash payments.

Visited Bade Miyan restaurant behind the Taj—an old, no-frills place with a simple setup. Food is cooked across the road and served inside. We ordered Chicken Seekh Kebab, Chicken Tikka, Rumali Roti, Chicken Bhuna, and Chicken Dum Biryani. The food looked basic but tasted quite good.
Service was a bit disorganized—they didn’t provide cutlery or meal plates initially. We had to start eating the biryani using the small plates available at the table, and only afterward were we given proper meal plates. Portions were on the smaller side, but we didn’t have to wait long outside—got called in within 5 minutes, though there was a wait at the table before our order was taken.
Walked in with a lot of expectations but then that was not right. It seemed like any other kebab place with the difference being separate places for vegetarian and non vegetarian kebabs. The vegetarian kebabs were no different in taste to what you get elsewhere tbh. The service was impersonal but quick. You order, eat, pay cash and leave.
It was good. The chicken was tender and tasty. Kebab was bit a oily. Had Chicken Biryani, Chicken Seek Kebab. Kebab was okay, Biryani was tasty. Overall average experience. The hype is not real.

I had really high expectations from Madras Café after hearing all the hype, but my experience was very disappointing.
• Neer Dosa: Not authentic at all. It felt just like another dosa, nothing like the soft, delicate neer dosa you expect.
• Other Dosas: All tasted the same, stuffed with oversized potatoes and completely bland masala. No distinct flavors.
• Dahi Wada: Served without even a hint of sweetness, just salty curd. All the masalas were missing — when I asked, the server simply offered red chili powder, salt, and pepper!
• Rava Dosa: Portion was shockingly small compared to any other place I’ve eaten in Mumbai.
• Ambience & Wait: Waited 55 minutes just to get a cramped seat at the corner. It was unbearably hot, with no comfort at all.
The only saving grace:
• Rasam Idli – The idli was soft, and the rasam flavorful. Easily the best dish I tried.
• Filter Coffee – Decent, but nothing special; you’ll find the same at many South Indian joints across the city.
After driving 30 kms, struggling for parking, waiting endlessly, and then being let down by almost every dish, I can honestly say the place is overhyped and not worth the trouble.
Overall: 1/5 – More hype than substance.
Just a 10-minute walk from Matunga station, Madras Café is right in the middle of a South Indian food lover’s paradise. On the way, you'll pass several small eateries and the air is filled with the amazing aroma of filter coffee and sambhar, it’s a whole vibe.
We visited on a Saturday morning around 10:30 to 11 am. As expected, there was a wait. They told us it would take 30 to 40 minutes, but we were called in about 20, which was a nice surprise.

Didn’t really work for us. The rasam was a bit too mild and lacked punch.
Sambhar Vada – 5/5
Absolutely perfect. The vadas were soft and soaked in flavorful sambhar. This one’s a must-try.

Pillowy soft and tasty, though we felt it would’ve been even better with ghee instead of butter.

I don’t even know where to begin with my experience at Yauatcha—it was truly exceptional. I had booked a table for 13 over the phone, and upon arrival, we were seated at a fantastic table. The restaurant itself was stunning, with an elegant ambiance that set the perfect mood for our gathering.
The service was outstanding from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond—guiding both kids and adults to the lift with care. Mr. Hanif and Mr. Solkar provided impeccable service, ensuring that my family was comfortable and happy throughout the meal. Towards the end, Mr. Sachin personally checked in on us and even surprised us with a complimentary chocolate dessert, which was such a thoughtful gesture. (The aunty in the restroom was also super adorable)
As for the food, every dish was phenomenal. There wasn’t a single plate that disappointed. The precision and thoughtfulness behind each menu item were evident, making every bite a delight.
I’m beyond impressed with Yauatcha and will definitely be returning—not just for the beautifully presented dishes, but for the incredible service and overall experience. Highly recommended!

Scroll through all the google reviews for this place by date and you will see how frequently within a short period of time there are reviews by people who have never eaten here. Someone in the management is paying to have good reviews posted for this place because Yatchua is losing ground to other new restaurants. Very disappointing. With respect for the food, I came here with a friend and the sweet corn chicken soup was terrible. Had no flavor. Dumplings were okay but having 3 pieces for each type of dumpling makes no sense when you are most likely to have either 2 or 4 people at a table. Nothing great about this place. Overhyped and they haven't taken the effort to make any improvements since the time they first opened. I'll attach my receipt to prove that I ate here.
One of the best places for Asian food in Bandra. It never disappoints. The dim sums were too good
The food was simple yet bursting with flavor. I enjoyed crispy prawn cheung fun, Shitake Mushroom Dim sum, poached peking dumplings, and finally the pork and prawn fried rice. The prawns were flavorful and the tempura batter added a delightful crunch. The mushroom dim sum and poached peking dumplings were decent, while the pork and shrimp fried rice stood out with its smoky flavor.. Overall my experience was good.

Me and my entire family is fan of this place that is also known for training and employing deaf 🧏 🧏♀️ personnel, highly proficient in sign language.
Team is extremely well trained and hospitable to the core. They can develop a communication channel and a bond much faster than even someone with voice and rich vocabulary. Met two wonderful gentlemen Hasan & Nandan (both 5 🌟) who were catering to us. I won’t mind visiting the place again just to converse with them. The restaurant gifts you a small carry home card that lists various gestures & their meaning.
For food. You just can’t miss Mirchi & Mime. Their menu is extremely rich and as always, this time too, we went for set menu to ensure we can try maximum from menu.
While food served is 10/10 and preparation very unique; their presentation is also their high point. Simply loved 🥰 it !!
Try their kebabs, fish preparations, desserts and much much more. One will require many visits to taste little something from their expansive menu. Did I miss mentioning desserts, try Sitaphal Pina Cota; absolutely delicious.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Mirchi and Mime, a fine dine restaurant that exceeds expectations. The moment you step in, you're enveloped in a premium atmosphere, complete with comfortable seating.
What truly sets Mirchi and Mime apart is its commitment to social responsibility. The restaurant employs deaf and mute individuals as waiters, providing them with a unique opportunity for employment. To facilitate communication, the menu includes a set of signs that you can use to place your order. I was thoroughly impressed by this initiative and applaud the restaurant for its efforts.
Now, onto the food! We began with the Bangla Paneer Tikka, which looked stunning but unfortunately fell short in terms of taste. We couldn't finish it, which was disappointing.
However, the Dori Kebab more than made up for it. Essentially a seekh kebab wrapped around a dori, it was incredibly juicy and flavorful.
For our main course, we opted for the Veg Tahiri Biryani, which was good but not quite what I'd call a biryani. The Thalapakati Mutton Biryani, on the other hand, was outstanding. The mutton was surprisingly boneless and of exceptional quality and quantity.
The sides they provided with the Mutton Biryani were truly exceptional. The fried chips in curd were absolutely divine - I couldn't get enough of them! What impressed me even more was the thoughtful service. The staff noticed how much I enjoyed the sides and offered me a second serving without me even having to ask. It's little touches like these that make a dining experience truly memorable.
As the afternoon wore on, the restaurant filled up, even on a weekday. While Mirchi and Mime is certainly on the pricier side, the unique experience and delicious food make it well worth a visit.
Mirchi & Mime located in Powai has food to die for!
First off, the concept of the restaurant itself is very pure. This place has deaf and mute waiters and people are given menus with Sign language to communicate. This helps generate more inclusive employment opportunities and they've earned a star from me for that (not that they needed it, it was 5 stars for the food already).
Secondly, this place has undeniably amazing food. I went here for dinner with my family. We got Waterchestnut and Corn Tikki for starters and Paneer Jugalbandi, Smoked Dal and Breads for the main course.
The starter (Waterchestnut and Corn Tikki) was hands down one of the best things I've tasted till now! After that, Paneer Jugalbandi had a really interesting combination of white and orange gravy that went very well together.
You'll love the concept of this place and the food.

This is one of the go to restaurant for our household for years. They run a restaurant with great food along with a social cause.
All their waiters are speech challenged thus all the orders are taken by sing language. However if the patron struggles then there are staff who come to speak and assist.
An ex colleague suddenly called and we decided to meet here. He ordered 2 gin and tonic and 1 starter each. I ordered a grilled prawns and my vegetarian friend ordered Mushroom Galouti. Both the dishes were well made and very tasty and we were quite happy.

I am writing to express our disappointment regarding the service we received during our Diwali celebration at your restaurant on [insert date]. We had made a prior reservation for a group of 46 office staff members from my company on yesterday 18 oct 2025 to celebrate this special occasion.
While we appreciated the overall ambiance and food, we were disheartened to find that our group was served soft drinks in paper glasses, whereas other guests were provided with proper glassware. Absolute delight to be here fr a lunch buffet! They had a v gud spread of buffet in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian fud . The starters whr all lip smacking . The vegetarian sushi variety was the show stopper ! Nice cozy ambiance too . It’s an unlimited buffet and it’s a treat fr the palate . The access to the restaurant is from the main road itself , but google will take you to the back road , which has no entry gate fr it , so avoid following google aftr the main road point . They have a valet parking but they charged us ₹ 150 fr 4 hrs . Hard drinks are also available at extra cost . There was no welcome drink served as such , which was unusual fr a buffet of this grandeur . Overall a gud experience fr us . Sweet dish section was average with no 5 star kind of treatment. But at the end of the lunch , u won’t even have space fr it .
I recently finalized this venue for our company’s Diwali team dinner, but the overall experience was very disappointing.
The starters service was extremely slow, and the number of waiters was far less compared to the number of guests. The staff was not polite, and even after multiple reminders, the serving frequency remained very slow. At one point, the waiter even placed the starters on the table and told us to distribute them ourselves, which was very unprofessional.
The welcome drink was served at the end, only after we requested it. The main course was just average, while the desserts were slightly better, but there was a huge crowd at a single dessert counter, causing long waiting lines. Even the ice cream served was frozen dessert (Kwality) instead of proper ice cream.
The only positive was the ambience and atmosphere, which were nice, but apart from that, everything else was below expectations.
Overall, a very poor experience, and I would not recommend or visit again.
The food here is really good and served with love. The serving are enough to not waste food and at the same time we can try a little of their dishes without feeling full already. The seafood lovers should surely visit. They have a sushi bar with variety of sushi, even veg sushi is available. The ambiance is good as well. I visited there with my husband on our first wedding anniversary and it was a special evening made even better by the scrumptious and delicious food.
If you are looking for a range of options, Global fusion is the place to be. Being a non vegetarian, the range of starters and main course was huge. The starters were delicious and we went in a huge group, so they served us starters which were piping hot and delicious. The vegetarian options was a bit underwhelming in taste compared to the non veg options. The desserts here was a bit underwhelming as well. Pastries didn't taste up to mark. Ice cream flavour was pedestrian but the best among the desserts. It was a very crowded atmosphere, noisy but festive. All in all a good experience here.

If you're a wheelchair user I highly highly recommend The Orchid Hotel in Vile Parle near T1 terminus.
Just inform them before booking and they'll allot you the rooms specifically designed for a disabled person's needs. I travelled with with my parents and brother. I had the most amazing experience. It was comforting to know that your needs have already been taken care of. They have taken care of every tiny detail required in the rooms, with one switch box near bedside to operate all the lights & electronics; enough space to roam in your wheelchair; washbasin at appropriate height; emergency alarm installed in both the washroom and bedside; wall mounted table in shower; bed of appropriate height and firmness. The doors to the washroom and entrance open outwards so you can operate them independently. The room is located near the restaurant of the hotel and the elevators, for easy access.
The staff is helpful, cooperative and caring. Amazing ambience ofcourse. I'll prefer booking this property during my future travels to Mumbai.
One thing that could be improved - the portion sizes in The Boulevard restaurant are bit too small for the price range. I didn't visit their other two restaurants located on the same property i.e. at the lobby and top floor level, so won't be commenting on those.

The only good thing about this property is its location — everything else was disappointing.
Cleanliness was well below expectations. During my check-in process, I was shocked to see cockroaches crawling across the reception desk.
I had a business booking made through Cleartrip, which clearly mentioned that up to three hours of early check-in was allowed, subject to availability. I arrived at 10 a.m. and requested early check-in. The front desk initially said that an additional charge would apply. When I pointed out the booking terms, they changed their stand, claiming that no rooms were available — yet rooms were indeed available if I agreed to pay extra. This comes across as misleading and gives the impression that complimentary early check-in is intentionally denied to push guests into paying more.
When I returned at 2 p.m. for check-in, they recorded my company name as “Cleartrip.” I clarified that Cleartrip was only the booking partner and that the invoice should carry my actual company name along with GST details, which had already been provided during booking. The staff were arrogant, argumentative, and reluctant to make the correction. After nearly fifteen minutes of discussion and multiple calls, they finally agreed to include the GST details — though very unwillingly.
For room-service orders, the hotel insisted on immediate payment upon delivery, yet refused to issue a proper GST invoice, providing only a payment slip and saying the final bill would come at checkout. This unusual reluctance to issue GST bills upfront felt uncomfortable and raised doubts about how such transactions are being recorded.
Overall, the staff behaviour was arrogant and unprofessional, and the overall service lacked the basic courtesy and transparency expected from a five-star property. The location may be excellent, but the experience was disappointing and far from the standards this category of hotel should maintain.

Here’s the chronology of what actually happened:
At 1:40 PM, I got a call for checkout. I requested an extension till 3:00 PM, and the executive said she would confirm with the Duty Manager.
After 45 minutes, at 2:35 PM, Mr. Mahesh Patil called back confirming the 3 PM checkout.
By 3:15 PM, I had packed my luggage and was watching India’s match (Rohit Sharma’s century). At 3:37 PM, I finally received a call from the front desk saying —
> “Sir, you had requested till 3 PM, now it’s 4 PM, and you’ll have to pay half-day charges.”
When I checked my mobile, it was 3:38 PM, not 4 PM.
This chronology clearly shows how strategically they delay follow-ups to trap guests into a “late checkout” charge.
And now, as expected — they will probably reply to this review saying, “It was beyond our control” or “due to technical reasons.”
That’s their standard excuse to cover up what is clearly poor guest handling.

Stayed for two nights and the experience was very pleasant. From check in to checkout the staff was polite, friendly, and helpful. The ambience with the greenery around was refreshing.
The room was spacious, clean, and the food at the ground floor restaurant 'Vindhyas' and first floor cafe 'Boulevard' was good. Unlike star rated hotels closer to the airport, this one provides easy access to the Ville Parle (E) market and shopping.
The entrance is a bit confusing for cab drivers as they stop outside and have to be told to come to the lobby. Rickshaws are not allowed inside. The domestic airport is 5 mins away and the international is about 15 as you have to circle back to reach the service road. The terrace restaurant, especially in the evenings provides a view of the airport hangar. One can also watch the flights take off but for monsoon season that section is closed.
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were comfortable, well-kept, and had all the basic amenities I needed. Room service was quick and efficient, which made the stay even more convenient. The restaurant service was okay, and the breakfast buffet, while decent, could have been better in terms of taste. What really stood out for me was the location, it is very close to the airport and right in the middle of the city, which made getting around really easy. Overall, it’s a good option for a comfortable stay, especially if you’re looking for convenience and accessibility.

For mains, we had the palak paneer paratha and undhiyo puri — our first undhiyo of the season, and it did not disappoint! The moong kicchu was the highlight — comforting and full of flavor.
The food was so tempting that we couldn’t even click pictures! Ended the meal with their fresh sugarcane juice (sugarcane for dessert!) — a perfect, refreshing finish. Overall, great food quality, clean ambience, and a satisfying experience. Definitely worth visiting again!

Signature dishes we tried:
Panki: A steamed rice-flour batter delicacy spiced with turmeric, green chilies, and cumin, served wrapped in banana leaves.

Sugarcane Juice: A naturally sweet, chilled beverage, with light notes of lemon and ginger, perfect for cooling off in Mumbai's heat.
Soam is celebrated for its authentic flavors and cultural essence, making it a popular spot for traditional vegetarian fare. Even something so basic as the sweet mango pickle was truly exceptional.
Our server for the day Glen Fernandes was exceptional, and helped us pick some takeaway food as well.
Last Thursday, we decided to march into Soam for a vegetarian dinner — a heroic act in itself.
At the door, the host beams and says, “35-minute wait che, saar.”
“Why?” I ask. With a twinkle in his eye, he replies, “Aaje Thursday che.”
One quick peek inside and it all made sense — every Gujarati from Chowpatty to Kemps Corner had already packed the place, turning Soam into their unofficial community dining hall. And there we were, a lively bunch of Parsis from Colaba, clearly crashing the party. Lagan-nu-custard had wandered straight into dhokla territory.
By the time our table was ready, we’d memorised the menu, picked our order twice over, and nearly converted to Jainism — just to get seated faster!
We started with the farsan platter (the vatana pattice, panaji and palak cheese samosa were superb), followed by pani puri and pav bhaji. For mains: methi pithal with jowar bhakri, kanda batata sambhariya with bhakhri, methi ghepla with laal batata nu shaak, shrikant batata puri and moong dal khichdi with dahi khadi. Their thirst quenchers are top-notch too. We ended in style — with kesar jalebi.
Typical Parsi weakness: feed us well, and we’ll forgive anyone — even a 35-minute wait.
Turns out lagan-nu-custard doesn’t mind waiting in dhokla territory — we’ll be back for seconds!

Soam has always been on my list to tick. Today I got the opportunity and what an experience. We reached at about 1.30 pm and had to wait for more than 30 to 40 minutes. (It is Sunday and can not blame)
The restaurant is opposite Shri Babulnath Temple entrance. We got the seat and the place is indeed decent. Its size restricts the number of visitors.
Still the restaurant has a very vivid menu and many Gujrati delicacies were on board. The Farsan Platter, Mutter Puri, Paanki, Mung dal halwa, Walnut Halwa, the Special Winter Menu starter Make Di roti aur sarso da sag. You name it and it is there. A special mention for the Palak Cheese Samosa is required, it was very tasty.
Though the restaurant was packed to the capacity and many still in waiting, the service was amazing. The staff was courteous and helped us in understanding the various dishes.
You have several options available here and it has to be on the list of any foodie.

I was craving for a non veg thali and I was lucky to find this place. It’s located in the President hotel. I chose the seafood thsli which was simply awesome. The service was very good. Taste was lovely and we even got to the paan at the end. Highly recommend this place

Perhaps the best part about staying at President by IHCL is Konkan Cafe, well so far as I’m concerned.
While I’ve ordered food from here in the room, this was the first time I stepped into the outlet to enjoy my meal, given that I had about an hour parked for dinner.
Since I was a lone diner, I decided to order the Non-Veg Thali - an unlimited fixed meal. They started me off with fried papad and three chutneys, the garlic chutney being easily amongst the best things I have consumed on the chutney front, possibly ever.
The main meal featured a piece of pan fried fish, raw papaya salad, raita, malwani chicken, fish curry, mutton curry, a dal based preparation and a vegetable dish. I opted to not have the last two items served. They also serve Rice, Malabar Parota, Appam and Neer Dosa with the meal.
The fish curry, I believe Mean Moilee is what was served, was spectacular. Delicate, flavourful and really fresh. The mutton curry was a bit spicy, perfectly balanced. The chicken had a kick, delicious with the sweetish appams. The fish fry was purely wholesome, the right item to start the meal.
Then came the dessert - Kulfi, Jalebi and Payasam. The Jalebi was super crisp and the right amount of sweet, the kulfi was delicious. I’m not a fan of Payasam in general so no comments there.
The staff made the experience better in all honesty. Attentive, polite, and honestly better than most high-end restaurants.
Now excited about my next visit and the delicious food that awaits.

The food remains great, however the service was seriously slack. They were seriously understaffed and while our server (Sameer) was a great guy he truly struggled to get to all the tables. The older waiters and the manager (Nilesh) were of not much help. We tried giving constructive feedback to the manager but he just did not show for 5 minutes. Frustrated we left - Never to return.

An upscale take on traditional south Indian food. The place offers dishes from the entire west coast of India from konkani to Goan to malayali cuisine.
Their sea food thali hits all the right notes, starting with the amazing chutneys, papads and masala filled deep fried chillis going to the mains which had a mix of coastal preparations.
Their prawns in kokam garlic and fish allepey are to die for. The rassam to start your meal is the perfect level of spice with an incredible amount of flavour.
Do try their feni cocktails, will transport you to goa instantly.
All in all a great place, with amazing service and brilliant food.

The most amazing dining experience. We were served by Mr. Laxmikant and he was outstanding. His knowledge of the menu and his food recommendations were fantastic. The food- the taste and the presentation was simply fabulous and I would definitely recommend the sea food thali (go for the unlimited version). Another recommendation that I thought was fantastic was the kori ghee roast. Try the kelpulachi vade as a starter and you’ll thank me for it (actually you can thank Mr. Laxmikant 😄). The solkadi drink was refreshing too and is a perfect way to get the evening started. The icing on the cake was a surprise chocolate mousse that was presented to my niece who was celebrating her 15th birthday. The whole ritual around birthday celebration at the Konkan cafe is a spectacle in itself .. so if you are celebrating a birthday, make sure to head to konkan cafe. All in all - a terrific dining experience and I am pretty sure Ill be back the next time I am in India
I ate here twice during my stay, and both times were impeccable. My first visit I had fish curry and was served by Deepak, the second time I had the vegetarian thali and was served by Laxmikant. Both gentlemen were kind, considerate and attentive. I highly recommend to opt for the thali of the day, because you will have a true taste of the breadth of Indian flavor.

My bill was around ₹4000, and I must say, every penny was worth it! I highly recommend Gajalee to all seafood lovers. I’m already planning my next visit to try more dishes. Absolutely loved it!
Plump, juicy, and sweet crabs in smoky, spicy, and tangy Tandoori coating. Their Bombil Fry is one of the best. Some stuff is pricey but most things are amazingly delicious.
Gajalee came very,very highly rated as one of the best seafood restaurants in the city. Everyone praised it's food, the freshness of the catch and the quality of the preparations.
However, reality was as far from this as it could be. I sampled two simple dishes- The crab, which they're known for, and Bombil fry. These dishes are what any good seafood places should be judged by, as they are the heart and soul of the seafood experience.
However, we were served 4 measly pieces of Bombil Fry, thin and more breading than actual fish. The chutneys being good was the only saving grace.
Then the crab. For almost 4k for a crab, I expected much better. While the crab itself was fresh, sweet and juicy, it still felt grossly overpriced. However, the quality was definitely very good, which is the reason I'm giving them 3 stars and not lower.
I would not recommend gajalee. For bombil fry, I'd rather go to somewhere like Old street in Bandra which serves a mountain of bombil for far cheaper, or places like Mahesh or Sion Lunch home. For crabs, Trishna and Mahesh Lunch home will remain my go to.

Chetana Veg. Restaurant & Bar (1946) is a Mumbai institution offering vegetarian thalis, buffets, and à la carte dishes. While on recent trip to Mumbai, we had an opportunity to visit one of the oldest and most famous restaurant, Chetna Veg. Restaurant & Bar at Kala Ghoda, Mumbai.
Chetna is serving delicious and authentic, Maharashtrian, Gujarati and Rajastani Thali since 1946 (Thakar Bhojnalay, Kalbadevi is one year older to Chetna since 1945 & competes with Chetna for best Thali in Mumbai).
We found Chetna is a very good and well decorated restaurant, maintaining very high hygiene and cleanliness. Service was excellent, staff was courteous.
In order to try different food varieties, we ordered Chetna's Regular Thali (mix of Maharashtrian, Gujarati and Rajastani dishes) & Chetna's exclusive Dal Bati Thali.
And Oh Boy, both thalis were superb, very delicious, unlimited in nature, food quality was very high. Dal Bati was almost authentic like what we had in Rajastan last month. Really a wonderful experience and definitely Chetna lived to its reputation of being counted amongst top 2 thali restaurants in Mumbai.
We thought Thali to be bit more expensive, but being in Mumbai and in locality like Kala Ghoda, I think price got justified to some extent.
A Thali lover must visit Chetna atleast once in life time.

We were a group of 13, wandering SoBo at 10:30 PM, struggling to find a place still serving dinner — turns out most spots shut early around here. Just when we were about to give up, we were warmly welcomed in by the manager. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and taken care of.
We ordered the Gujarati Thali, Rajasthani Thali, and Maharashtrian Thali — and every single one was a hit! The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the hospitality truly stood out. A perfect end to a great evening.
We visited Chetana Veg Restaurant for a quiet family meal and ordered full portions of thalis for four people. We also had our little daughter with us, and as any parent would, we were simply feeding her a few bites from our own thali. To our surprise, the waiter asked us not to share food from the thali, something that felt unreasonable and rather insensitive, especially when we had already ordered adequately for our us.
It completely disrupted what should have been a pleasant family meal. We expected a place like Chetana to be more understanding and family-friendly. Unfortunately, this left a sour note on an otherwise anticipated dining experience.
Probably the best thali I have ever had in recent times. The Rajasthani thali as well as the Gujarati thali were superb. The restaurant is really hygienic and the food served is fresh thus making the experience a whole lot better. The waiters and manager are really sweet. Must try if you are on the lookout for a thali in town!
Great vegetarian place serving thali in Gujarathi , Rajasthani and Maharastrian style food . The pricing is reasonable food is excellent . We were a big group so had different Thalis .
The food was terrible. We ordered ala carte. As we have a specific dietary requirement, we informed the manager for non spicy and low oil food. I wanted it to be a nice dinner but it turned out to very very spicy and very oily. What felt bad was that even as we had required a specific diet due to health reasons the restaurant could have declined if that was not possible.
Once my favorite restaurant. Now a huge disappointment. We asked if we could get something non-spicy. The manager promised us that any dish we wanted would be prepared accordingly. We order a simple daal and gatte ki sabji. We double-checked about it being non-spicy and he assured us again that that would be so.
But both the dishes turned out super spicy. The manager wasn’t even apologetic. We didn’t eat the dishes served and the rotis. Ordered khichdi which luckily cannot be ruined.
When we left the same manager at the counter didn’t even bother to look at us, neither to say bye nor to pretend to regret our dinner being ruined, because he was busy watching India vs UAE T20I match on his phone.
Today was the second consecutive time I had a bad experience here.

My first visit to a Japanese restaurant. Loved the ambience and the food as well. We took about 20 mins to decide the order coz we weren't familiar with any Japanese dishes. Do some research on what you should ideally eat there so that you can order fast and save some time. Loved the Crispy Chicken Salad, Crab Sushil Roll and some Japanese Rice with gravy.
The only thing that shined for me was the salmon sushi. It was really good. I had high hopes for the miso ramen but I didn't enjoy it much. Overall its good for a change. From a price point of view it is expensive.
The ambiance of the place is nice. The menu is exhaustive and they have a wide range of options even for the vegetarians. The (veg) sushi is to die for! I have not had better sushi than this in mumbai. The rest of the food was also good, but the winner is hands down the sushi. Absolutely amazing.
The staff is courteous and answered all our queries patiently. Murli, or waiter, gave great suggestions based on our tastes.

It was the cutest spot in Bandra! This is One of the best place to have authentic Japanese food. My first experience for Japanese food, and nothing can be better than this place. Had a few different sushi but the one I loved the most was 'Oh My God Sushi 🍣'. It's hard to describe taste of sushi, its a explosion of different flavors inside your mouth as you have it. Apart from sushi you should try Creamy Shrimp 🍤 Tempura it will sooth your soul - Shrimps have never tasted better !!! Mochi Ice Cream Absolutely loved the presentation of this. Pounded sticky rice with an icecream filling (Vanilla & Mango). The ambiance of this place contributes more to the authenticity. For an authentic Japanese cuisine and ding experience I would really recommend this place to all of you.

Best restaurant to try authentic Japanese cuisine with Japanese style seating. We had Shrimp Tempura Roll(sushi), Yaki Soba Noodles (Chicken), Shoyu Ramen. For dessert we had Mochi ice cream and Tiramisu. For drink we had a Kofuku special smoothie. Everything was so delicious especially the Shrimp roll. It is little expensive but totally worth it. The ambience was amazing. It's like we get a private room to sit and eat. Lovely experience with family. I will go again and try all their rolls.
Note: Book a table in advance because it's very crowded cuz it's famous.
The food at Kofuku was pretty good. The Tuna Sashimi was not bad & the Tonkotsu Ramen was among the nicer ones I’ve had in India but nowhere close to the quality I am used to based on my many years living in Singapore & having visited Japan on 2 occasions. I enjoyed their California Maki but was disappointed by their Pork Tonkatsu due to several condiments & the signature thinly cut iceberg lettuce being served in a way that made for a portion size I was displeased with. The cutlet itself felt chewy in parts.Their ambiance is reminiscent of the many Japanese establishments I’ve visited in the past & the service staff seemed attentive & well trained. If this is the best Mumbai has to offer, we’re on the right path & perhaps once Japanese cuisine becomes more popular - we’ll have more variety & excitement to look out for in this space.

If there is one restaurant that i keep coming to in Mumbai, its Shalimar! They have maintained the quality standards and most of their dishes taste great. Menu is vast with options for everyone and service is fast. Also it has large seating space which means no waiting time and has both AC and non-AC seating available.
Bhuna Ghost and Shalimar special falooda (Wonder Malai falooda) are must try.
Its an amazing restaurant. We went for breakfast and had shak shuka, hazelnut croissant tea and cold coffee.. the shak shuka was a little hot but it tasted superb.

I had recently pani puri and falooda, now it's not worth to have it, because puri and inside metrial (bundi)was not crispy, taste not good even spicy and sweet water was not good at all, outside street food or even there is one new opposite of them he is serving better than them, let's come to falooda , now it not like before, it is same like street bhaiya wala falooda, they don't deserve to have 2 star , 1 is more than enough... Quality is going day by down....
The place is amazing, with great food, excellent service and nice ambience. The staff was very cooperative, and the food was presented to us within 15 minutes, point to note it was not a rush hour. Might cost a person 500-1000 Rs depending on the order placed. Since i went with my friends, the expenditure was 500 per person, but again it depends on the order.
We tried Mutton Paya(trotters) Soup, and for the appetizer Chicken Tshinghai.
Visted here during ramadan fasting to have iftiyari. Foods for iftiyari there will be counters outside this restaurant but too too expensive and its not worth also. There staffs are like keys winding toys should wind them properly then only they will response. One good thing what I felt about this restaurant is that they allow customers to bring outside food and have it during iftiyari and also they give complimentary fruits for iftiyari. So we took falooda which is ok ok in taste but still again expensive too. Restaurant is clean and hygienic maintained but staffs are like no intrest to work. During ramadan time food is after 8:00PM.
I am visiting here since childhood and there's been a noticeable decline in taste.
Chicken tandoori here was the best in Mumbai but now it's not that good.
And the saddest part are the waiters or the servers, 10-12 years back when we used to visit the waiters were so good and now the waiters recommend the expensive dish thats even not in the menu and it the worst part is it tastes even bad.
If we are ordering a 1200 rupees chicken gravy than it atleast needs to taste good.

Around 9 PM, most restaurants tend to have a wait time, so I was pleasantly surprised that we got seated right away. The service started off impressively fast—our first few dishes arrived almost instantly. As the place filled up, the pace of orders slowed down a bit. Visited Little Italy after 14 years.....once again it did not disappoint. Pasta was awesome, pizza was among the best I have eaten and the chocolate bomb dessert is awesome...I think that what it's called. I am curious to taste the other options on the menu when I visit India again. I see they offer Mexican as well as Lebanese food
If you're craving delicious vegetarian Italian food, this is the place to be! The Four cheese pizza and Fantasy Pizza were heavenly, and the pasta was rich, spicy and satisfying. We also paired it with Garden Galata and Fusion berry mocktails both were chilled and refreshing. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great dining experience overall. Definitely coming back to try more dishes on the menu!
I had ordered a Home Delivery through Zomato which consisted of 4 Deserts, the average price of each desert was approximately Rs.300/-, please see in the picture the horrible packaging in which the deserts were sent, the packaging had disfigured and ruined the deserts. When I placed an complaint with Zomato and in-turn when the sincere Customer Service Representative called the restaurant to complain about the same the executive at the restaurant states that they have been packaging and serving the deserts in same fashion since years and no one has raised complaints till date, also they stated that the customer may be not telling the truth and must have mishandled the bag/ product.

Little Italy, Juhu, is my absolute favourite. I love everything about this place. Ambience, food and hospitality are excellent. The Pizzas and Pastas are truly delicious. And the Chocolate Bomb dessert is mind-blowing. Highly recommended.
Little Italy doesn't live upto it's reputation. We went after a long time, and find food quality has deteriorated.
1. Exorbitant prices, with compulsory 10% service charges .
2. Cold drinks served at room temperature
3. Burrata Pizza was awful. Tasteless burrata cheese, rubbery mozzarella, soggy base. Couldn't complete one amongst 4 persons
4. Pasta was decent. They have stopped giving bread as a side, which I remember they used to give earlier.
5. Mushroom antipasti was overcooked. And charging 600 for a plate of button mushrooms is too much.
6. Mezze platter and garlic bread were the only good items.

Here I ordered special vegeterian thali which consists of 3 different vegetables, 4 puri/3 chapati/2 rice bhakri, kadi, thalipith, masala rice, with pickle, raita & fryums and Gulab Jamun as dessert which all were delicious in taste. The place specialized in maharashtrian cusine. You also get south Indian food there. Prices are reasonable. The place is very clean and gives one a fine dine experience. Was a great experience for me as I was trying maharashtrian food for the first time. We tried the thali, thalipeet and aloowadi. Dessert we tried the karvas which was my favorite well made. The poran poli ice cream which was recommended by the waiter was not so good , didn't like the combination of Puran poli and ice cream blended they are 2 separate desserts and should not be combined as one. There's an average waiting time for this place is 30 to 40 mins on weekdays. On weekends it's around 60mins.There is no pre booking for this place. You have to give your name at the door to book a table and he will call out your name once the tables are empty. We got a table close to the sink and toilet area which was not a nice experince with people moving up and down. This is the second time they have given us this place. They also have a mithai shop outside. We wanted to have the modaks but they were all over. We had gone there especially for the modaks. This is the place to try your local maharashtrian food at reasonable rates :)

We visited Ashwad Restaurant for breakfast. The misal pav was awesome, but the vada pav and tea were just okay. It was a bit crowded, so the service was average. The place had a nice Maharashtrian vibe overall.
I visited Aaswad Upahar & Mithai Gruh in Dadar, adjacent to Shiv Sena Bhavan, with a group of friends after finding it on Google. I must say, it completely lived up to my expectations!
We ordered a variety of Maharashtrian dishes including Misal, Methi Vadi, Ukdiche Modak and Caramel Custard. Each item was absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavors. The Misal had the perfect spice, the Methi Vada was crisp and flavorful, the Caramel Custard was smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced and the Ukdiche Modak were soft, fresh, and soulful was the perfect sweet ending.
If you’re looking to explore authentic Maharashtrian cuisine in Mumbai, Aasvaad is the place. It delivers on every front—taste, quality, and tradition. Highly recommended!

😟 An Overhyped and Disappointing Experience at Aswad Hotel, Dadar
For the past year, I had been hearing rave reviews about Aswad Hotel in Dadar. My previous attempts to visit were thwarted by the consistently long queues and waiting times (usually over 30-40 minutes). Finally, yesterday, I had the time and patience, and after a 40-minute wait, we were seated.
Despite the pleasant ambiance, the food quality was surprisingly poor: ( can rate 1/5)
Kothimbir Wadi: This was less Kothimbir (coriander) and more like a plain besan (gram flour) wadi, with an estimated 95%+ besan content.
Misal Pav: The misal curry was unexpectedly sweet.
Puri Bhaji: The bhaji (vegetable side) was served as a dish so sweet it tasted like a dessert. When I asked for a replacement, the kurma they offered was also very sweet, like a dal (amti).
Our entire meal was ruined; we ultimately left and ate at another restaurant.
I'm genuinely puzzled as to why Aswad is so highly rated. Given the poor quality of the food, especially its overwhelming sweetness, it seems entirely possible that the high ratings are due to paid reviews or are a result of the restaurant being severely overhyped. I suspect it attracts first-time visitors who are drawn by the hype, rather than having a base of genuinely satisfied, repeat customers (unless they specifically prefer overly sweet misal and bhaji). 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁 🙁

One of Dadar’s oldest Maharashtrian vegetarian spots, Prakash Upahar Gruha has been a staple for years. I had the sabudana vada, thalipeet, and batata vada all were just as delicious as I remember from my childhood. The piyush here is also good.
Pro tip: Cash only, So make sure you carry enough or be wary if you’re a GPay user. Also they charge for extra chutney.
Despite the old school vibe, the flavors remain spot on. It’s a great place for some genuine Maharashtrian snacks.

Visited Prakash Shakahari Upahar Kendra, Dadar West and had an amazing experience! Tried their Dahi Misal, Aloo Vada, and Kharvas for dessert. The Misal was perfectly balanced — not too spicy, which really allowed the rich flavor of the spices and farsan to stand out. The Batata Vada was tasty and fresh, and the Kharvas was super soft with a smooth texture. Overall, the food quality and traditional flavors were excellent. Just a note — they don’t accept online payments, so make sure to carry some cash when you visit. Highly recommended!

Mixed bag experience with excellent to average taste
Had Sabudana vada and Misal along with Puris, the vada along with groundnut chutney was excellent 😋 with very less oil for fried dish while Misal was disappointing with average taste also the tari served is nothing black chana curry 🤦.
Service is great with responsive and soft spoken staff.
Another negative factor cash is the only payment option, card is understood but even upi is not accepted for reasons better known to them.

The best part of Dakshinayan is the simplicity and focus on quick service and great-tasting food. We ordered the spicy pepper masala dosa, the besibelle huliana (basically a really tasty khichdi type dish), the rawa sheera and trust me, they all came within 15 minutes steaming hot.
Simple, no-nonsense service, piping hot food which tastes amazing, and quick checkout. There is parking available at the site, but no valet. The pricing is extremely competitive, especially for a restaurant occupying such prime real estate. I shall definitely go back to Dakshinayan again.

Its a must try place for south indian food lovers. We ordered mix uthhapam, triangle masala dosa, onion tomato idli, and filter coffee. Their chutneys are a notable highlight. Plus it's right by the Iscon Temple in Juhu. The decor is subtle but comforting with all the thanjavore paintings. Overall it's a great place.
Visited Dakshinarayan Restaurant, just a short walking distance from Mukteshwar Mandir. Tried their Paniyaram (rice vada), crispy masala dosa (on request), and mini steamed idlis. The food was beyond my expectations ~ fresh, flavorful, and authentic.
I especially loved their coconut chutney and sambar ~ not too spicy, just perfect. The dosa was crisp and well-made, though personally, I prefer dosa without masala inside. The fresh lime soda (salted) was refreshing, and the sugarcane juice was absolutely fresh and energizing.
The restaurant is simple, not fancy, but well-maintained with decent hygiene. Washing area is outside, and service was prompt and polite ~ not like a high-end fine dining setup, but focused on good food, which is exactly what I came for. Parking is available, which makes it convenient for visitors.
If you’re visiting Mukteshwar Mandir, I’d definitely recommend trying this place for authentic South Indian food. I was fully satisfied and would love to visit again!
Dakshinayan is one of my absolute favourite places for South Indian food. Their mini podi idlis is my absolute favourite. We tried their ambassador idli which is their mini idlis dipped in sambar with some onions which was super flavourful and also had their Mysore masala dosa. On weekends it’s a bit crowded so account for some wait time.
Absolutely delectable South Indian cuisine. Pessaratu dosa was good. Sambhar very tasty. Coconut chutney divine.

We recently dined at Dakshinayan, Thane, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish! The food quality was top-notch — every dish was packed with authentic flavors and superb taste that truly celebrated South Indian cuisine at its best.
A special mention must go to Pawan, who made our visit truly memorable. He is, without doubt, one of the most hospitable and warm people we’ve come across in any restaurant. His ever-smiling demeanor and attention to detail made the evening extra special. Pawan took the time to explain the meaning and correct pronunciation of each dish, helping us appreciate the menu even more. What impressed us most was how he understood our spice preferences perfectly and even went the extra mile to customize our order — something that wasn’t even listed on the menu!
His dedication and genuine care for customer satisfaction are truly commendable. Kudos to Pawan and the entire Dakshinayan team for such brilliant service.
Every dish we tried was amazing, beautifully presented, and full of authentic flavors. It’s rare to find such consistency in taste, hospitality, and ambiance all in one place.

The service was quick. Taste of food was good. Though the lemon rice were slightly oily. These were tasting delicious.

Nice cozy place to have Maharashtrian, Goanand South Indian Cuisine.
However there was only 1 guy to take an order during the lunch time. Food was being served very late. The guy taking orders was kind of arrogant and biased. He was attending English speaking guests very well and I felt he was least interested in speaking with customers speaking in local languages.
Also they charge a 10% service charge and when asked to remove it, the guy told me to pay in cash then only he'll remove the service charge. Otherwise if you're paying from different platforms like Swiggy or Zomato then service charge is mandatory. I did not argue as I had to leave early.
The owner of the restaurant is ex bureaucrat but still doing service charge malpractices openly.

I didn't like it. Others may like it because it is different. The atmosphere and menu is unique. When we entered, we wanted to sit inside maharashtra section but the waiters staff there tried to convince us to sit outside. The menu took so long to arrive. Atmosphere is uniquely crafted but it feels too dark. The menu is obviously overpriced, yes, food items have unique taste unlike punjabi hotel gravies that are same for every subji. The staff was awkwardly polite.

I have visited this 100 year old restaurant several times. But this time, it was turned out to be a total disaster. Most of the dishes were uniformly bland, devoid of salt or any flavour.

Visited this restaurant a few days ago and had a pretty good experience overall. The place is located in a prime area, so naturally, there’s a good amount of crowd and demand.
The pricing is average—neither too high nor too cheap—and the quality of food matches well with the price. It’s not over-the-top fancy, but definitely a decent place for a casual meal.

A true Bombay breakfast spot! Olympia is a cash-only restaurant (GST 😉, bill also don't contain GST no) but totally worth it. The keema items were delicious, and the real highlight for us was the bun maska(MUST TRY)
We first ordered one, loved it so much that we kept reordering—ended up with seven in total! At one point the waiter wasn’t too pleased since he was losing count and asked us to order all at once 😂.
The taste was unmatched—we even tried the same dish at a nearby restaurant later in the evening, but it just couldn’t compare to Olympia’s version.

I have been visiting Olympia since over 15 years! It has become a no brainer breakfast spot for me and my friends when we decide to do morning visits to town. Kheema pao is popular choice, but I prefer their kheema fry with a side of roti. If you're visiting for lunch you can opt for a mutton masala fry or chicken masala fry. The food is simple, I wouldn't say it is out of this world, but it's much better value for money than so many other restaurants in the area. I would peg this as a decent budget eatery.
After a long and tiring shopping session at and near Mhd Ali Road, I paid a premium to a taxi to get to this familiar place. I was promptly seated with some strangers at a shared table, as is the custom here. The strangers left while my order was brought; two more strangers joined the table — one, a foreigner, unable to figure out the menu and wasn’t helped; the other disappointed that the bun maska wasn’t in-house, ruing the lack of authenticity and complaining about why they should have something a roadside tapri would serve.
I enjoyed my meal — shami kebab with butter paratha — but before my bill was brought, I was subjected to a cross-selling attempt for some cheap perfumes. I left disappointed at the loss of authenticity, but at least I can return to have some good food again.
The upper deck is an AC room and is quite spacious. The food is simply fantastic. I've visited the place multiple times at this point. The chicken masala fry and fish fry are amazing, to say the least. Biryani or Biryani Rice with some chicken gravy and a fry item will leave your taste buds wanting more. Sadly, the stomach has its capacity 😅

Sirocco is a chic cafe serving pizza, pasta and shared plates in Versova. They have an impressive range of drinks, as well as vegetarian and Chinese options. The service is excellent and the management knows how to create a great atmosphere.

Great place to sit and chill whilst having good food with friends and/or family. The variety on the menu is good and so are the prices. I asked for non-spicy food and they took it back and gave me the dish bland when I told them it was spicy for me. The only thing I didn't like is that the music is quite loud and the tables of people smoking shisha are mixed with those who don't, so we were eating and smoke came towards us. I'd recommend making a separate area so that not everyone is exposed to the smoke.

When you have a vegetarian best friend, you have to know about all the good veg restaurants around. Though it is not as good as non veg, trust me when I say this - Sirocco has some really good veg dishes.
We went there to stuff ourselves right to the top with some amazing Paneer and other great dishes. Their menu is elaborate and we were spoilt for options. Loved their pizzas and pastas the most. Perfect value for money deal.
The staff was really good too. The restaurant has been really popular amongst locals, we went on a Monday night and yet the restaurant was almost full. Service was lovely even with such crowd. Overall a good deal, go for it!

The food is amazing with outdoor, indoor and pool side sitting and the ambience is good and a very youth environment. They serve sheesha too. The services were good and the staff was polite and very helpful. They will assist you with all your needs. You can visit it with your friend's family. Coming to what i ordered in drinks we had Double decker monday blues - Great taste. Sirocco Cooler - A very refreshing Drink. For food we had their best corn and jalapeno cheese balls. Very cheesy and awesome in taste. With that we had sircoocos oven roasted exocita pizza, with all the veggies and full of cheese it was one of the best exocita pizza we ever had. With that we had peri peri fries. The place is very good and cozy for a friend's outing. with all the good food and staff services.

Monday's and Saturday's are great days to drop by for Karaoke nights. Sing along dance and be merry. The food is good for sitting down with a drink and a pile of friends. Generally packed on these days so try a reservation. Not very expensive and has been around for decades here it's a place where you will find the real Bandra crowd singing everything from Beatles to Abba to Bon Jon Jovi... Take your pick.

I usually visit Mumbai for music concerts and every time I go for one, despite it ending over the weekend, I book my flights a day later just so I can visit Soul Fry on a Monday night for the karaoke. This place was suggested by my Goan friend who stumbled upon it for it’s authentic Goan cuisine and great vibe. And for the past couple of years I’ve made it a ritual to go here with my friends every time we visit Mumbai.
Every visit I had here has been nothing short of a fantastic experience. From the excellent service by the waiters, the yummy taste of well-made Goan food to the fun vibe the place and it’s people exuberate, it’s become my goto place in Mumbai for a fun night of singing. Even the hosts of the karaoke are very gracious and friendly and made each of our visit a memorable one, thus urging me to drop a 5-star rating which this venue has earned. The only disappointment I had was I end up getting just one song to sing every time and it feels a little disappointing considering the overall effort I put to come here but I wouldn’t hold this against the venue or it’s event hosts because the place has always been packed with people who came to sing—and I imagine that the regulars would get a more preferred treatment, as they should. I am very happy to recommend this place to any group of people who love good music, yum goan food and are craving for a well-balanced karaoke experience esp. on a Monday night.

The thali that we ordered, both vegetarian and non vegetarian was very good. The starters - prawn koliwada was excellent 👌🏼 and so was the crispy bombil. The mojito was good... but a little too sweet for my taste. The thali takes a while to get ready, all in all an wonderful lunch with my colleagues.

I was travelling alone and came here mainly for the food but it seemed like a buzzy place and much loved by Bandra locals as a place for karaoke/ a few drinks/ a fun night out with friends. The place has a lot of character and heart.. would reccomend!

If you are looking for Korean, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese food, this is the place to go. The food is really good and so is the ambiance. The staff are very friendly. We ordered a G &C for drinks and for mains we ordered the Jajangmyeon noodles with chicken and the Sumatran Rendang Duck. Both were really well made and full of flavour. I however felt that the quantity of noodles served was a smaller portion. Overall a nice place to visit for a meal.

This place is situated near the Lifestyle entrance. It has some good vibes with nice music playing in the background. The service was quick and friendly. The lobster tempura bao was the highlight of our meal. It was amazing. The drinks were great as well. Lastly, the deserts were delicious as well. A good place to have some really decent Asian and Japanese cuisine.

We recently visited to Shizusan. Here we had rainbow maki sushi, dimsum and non veg and veg chili garlic noodles. It was delicious and Garlic Noodles was nonveg. I love the noodle more. The noodles are best here. Price was worthy. Ambience was so amazing. Love the interior also best place for chill out.

Starting from the entrance, the typical wooden high doors with golden knobs then the wooden brown chairs to the temple bells and wall art painted man faces, everything about the decor was mind boggling. Yes, coming to the food it was typical south Indian food with a lot of dishes on their menu. We had so many options to choose for but we went for the famous ones.
We ordered:
•RASAM VADAI,
It was hot orange Rasam with small pocket size Medu Vada’s. The Medu Vadas soaked the rasam and really complimented each other. The Rasam was flavourful and rich in taste.
•GHEE MILAGAPODI IDLI
It was rice steam idli tossed in ghee and spices. It had those south ingredients which couldnt be found in Bombay at least. The Idli was soft and rich is spices.
•GHEE MILAGAPODI ONION DOSAI
It was Crispy Dosa which was prepared with onion and spices filling inside. I never had such an amazing dosa as it was their specialty, it kept their name with that dish.
•ONION UTHAPPA
Thick dosa is basically called uthappa, so this was one giant one. Onion uthappa was perfectly cooked and flavourful. It was crispy yet soft and tasted amazing with hot Sambhar.
•GUGHAN SUPREME THALI
It was one Bahubali thali it seemed! They served this amazing food on a banana leaf with all their love. There were so many bowls of food that i was almost full looking at them.
We had Mix Veg bhaji, Garlic bhaji, Rasam, Sambhar, Chutney, Palak Dal, Dal, Raita, Curd, Buttermilk, Boiled Rice, Veg biryani, Papad, Paratha, Uthappa, Pickle.
It was really tiring to eat it all but yet it was so tasty. Everything tasted so authentic.
•BUTTERMILK
They served it before the food came as a refresher and it was an amazing refreshment. Creamy and cool, with coriander and chillies sprinkled.
•FILTER KAAPI
We ordered it to try on their specially coffee which they call KAAPI. I loved it as it was strong and i could literally smell the coffee beans which is a sign of originality.
•GHEE SHEERA ( SOOJI KA HALWA)
Yes, it was my dessert and it was so yum.
It was made in pure ghee with so much of love. It was a perfect ending to mu south food journey!
Staff and service is well versed with the menu and smooth with their work.
Overall Amazing place to go and hog on south Indian food. Have breakfast, lunch or dinner, it will fulfil you with the best. Thankyou so much for the best south Indian food.

Pretty by the walls, this restaurant has total South Indian flavours in everything that it offers. I had Rasam wada, which was lovely, Idli podi which had ghee in every bite, onion uttappam with all that amazing taste and ghee podi dosa which was long enough to fill your tummy with a yummy taste! Their filter coffee was the best (as always) and sooji sheera was rich in ghee. Lovely place to be, when you want to satiate your South Indian cravings.

This place is located at marine lines, 5 mins walking from railway station. Talking about ambience : it was pretty cool, loved the entrance, interiors and lights.
What i tried :
Ghee milagapodi idli - it was very different from the idlis we have normally, it had masala which tasted really good.
Lassi and fresh lime soda as fresh appetizers.

Supreme thali - It had dal with ghee, sambar, rasam, kaara khuzhambu, chutney, veg biryani, veg karuma, 2 uttapam, rice bowl, 2 vegetables, curd, butter milk, papad and pickle. It was really huge and we were so full after it.
Onion uttapam- It was Soft and onions were crispy, just perfect.
Filter kaapi - It was served in a unique traditional cup, loved it.

Gughan is one of the most significant restaurant in Mumbai. The location is also superb as this restaurant is located near the throne to the city (Marine Lines) of Mumbai. After having food here a good feeling of South Indian style will rush through your veins and then a walking distance towards the pleasing sea waves will help you digest the treat that you just had.
Talking about food, they are popular for their Supreme Thali so we ordered some dishes and The Thali. The service is very fast and the staff is very interactive with their customers no doubt. Trust me that the taste of the dishes in this restaurant is much better and much more significant than any other South Indian restaurant in Mumbai. I do agree that they stick to their traditional Karnataka style which is very rare to find.

This is a special dish which is nothing but Idli sambhar with a blend of unique style. It didn't tasted like any normal idli sambhar, it was something different. The idli is coated with some crispy essential coat with rai on it.

In Karnataka, they call Dosa as Dosai. This dosai is filled with their uniquely made masala and onion which had an amazing taste.

Me and brother looking for something nice and healthy to eat when we are in South Mumbai, came across this authentic South Indian restaurant near Marin lines station.
When we entered this place, we got this proper south feel in the ambience. We were informed that food is served in banana leaf and not just the cutlery and everything we order, we have an option of choosing ghee to prepare it.

The place was booked by my wife for my birthday dinner. Sea facing restaurant, though the sea can’t be appreciated at night time. Would have a beautiful view of the sea during daytime though. The service was good. Food was average. Nothing as a signature dish of Estella. Ambience was alright.
We visited during sunset it was good but many ppl block the view ppl should understand that and we ordered Thai curry which had peanuts in it , the taste was weird the server didn’t help us to change it , as we are fan of Thai curry it was disappointing and server kept telling this is how we make , prawns tempura good !
Megumi is located right on Juhu Main Road, so it’s quite easy to find. The restaurant has decent-sized seating and offers a lovely sea view, definitely the highlight of the place. It started raining when we visited, which made the view even better, though the restaurant was almost empty at the time.
Food was just okay in terms of taste and quantity, but the pricing felt on the higher side for what was offered. Drinks were below average too. Hygiene could have been better, it was manageable but not up to the mark.
The service was good, and the staff was attentive. The interiors are simple and decent, nothing very impressive. Parking can be figured out around the area.
Overall, the sea view makes it worth a one-time visit, but the food, pricing, and hygiene didn’t really match expectations. Also, the veg options were quite limited, definitely something they could improve.
Some of the service were not good. Specially the lady near the hand wash (common hand wash for the restrooms), who was trying to teach me or tell me that taps are only for hand wash and not mouth with a frustrated and arrogant voice. After I left she whispered that i should have been using tissue to wash my mouth. Are you serious?😂😂
It was a weekend and I could only get a reservation that was 2hrs in advance. They have 2 different seating (one on the deck and the other is closed Seating). There was a cover charge (minimum spend) for the deck seating based on the fact that we were just 2 people. However, a few drinks and a full course meal would exceed the minimum spend amount. However, do note that the deck was a closed spaced, atleast at night when we visited it was closed.
The food was excellent. 5 star for presentation, taste and service. Only the pork ribs were a disappointment for the amount of meat on the bone. The sushi and fish were excellent and recommended to try. The mock tail was also very good.
I recommend this place for foodies and people who want to dine early with a view.
I didn't felt welcome at all, first even after having the tables available they didn't confirm our table. Secondary they added the service charges 2tines in my invoice, even after asking they didn't remove it.
Perfect place for a romantic date-night. Right by the beach, you can hear and see the waves while dining. The food was amazing, the staff were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended.

We ordered Mutton Kheema Paav, omelette, and Mutton Cutlet Puffs, all of which were served promptly despite the restaurant not being too busy. The food was amazing, with flavors that showcased traditional Parsi cuisine.
Given that many old restaurants in Mumbai often rely on cash payments, I was prepared to pay that way. However, the waiter surprised me by mentioning that they also accepted GPay, which made payment convenient.
While leaving, we picked up some Mava Cakes, paying in cash for those. The overall experience was wonderful, with great food, vintage ambiance, and accommodating payment options.

We tried a sizzler which was a mistake, but the bakery products are nice, we took a few biscuits and puff at the end, bun maska and omelette were good. Gets a but hot and humid inside the cafe and tables are used usually a bit small. Service was okay and quick, place was almost empty on a Sunday afternoon which means there are better cafe around waiting to be explored.

Sion Lunch home was on my list of places to try for a while and I finally visited this place. It's quite small with just around 10 tables. The staff is polite and courteous. We got the seafood platter for starters which tasted very average. There were four different types of fish which were all just deep fried and even though it was crispy it didn't have any flavour. Next we got the neer dosa and the prawns ghee roast. The neer dosa was just perfect and soft and delicious but couldn't say the same for the ghee roast. I have had it before at many other restaurants and this one was by far my least liked. Overall only recommend this place if you are in the vicinty.
Considering the rates, the food was exceedingly sumptuous. Chicken Manchurian is a must try starter. Their classic Ghee Roasts, both Prawns and Chicken, are GOATed. Only downside is, if you plan to go there from Sion Railway Station, the road is a bit underdeveloped and littered. Reach early (before 8:15 p.m.) on Weekends and Holidays to avoid waiting and crowd. There are no proper restroom facilities here, for toilets we have to pass through the kitchen and then there are 2 common toilets which aren't healthy to use. This was the only lacking point of the place.

Jaffer Bhai's Delhi Darbar is a very famous Mughlai Restaurant in Mumbai, what i had heard is that they server one of the tastiest biryani in mumbai., I visited their Mahim branch which is the most famous among all. The atmosphere and Ambiance is decent and normal too but it's only ambiance which makes it decent otherwise the food was not at all tasty or good .
We ordered the chicken and veg biryani both and believe me guys after eating i didnt expected it to be that bad, the biryani and masala had no aroma and also there was no taste. (Biryani is tasteless) I have never tasted biryani with such normal taste only rice and little masala was der(dissatisfied)
Ordered chicken tawa Sandwich, got chilli tawa Sandwich. There were more chillies than the chicken in the sandwich. When I called th and informed them of the same, they replied "Next time order karenge toh bata dena". Some time later I Whatsapp them the photo of the chillies I removed from 1 tawa Sandwich,to which they reply they will send me the same dish as a replacement. Which I refused since I collected the order while I was passing from Mahim and I'm sure they would refuse delivery to Powai any which way.
I ordered Mutton Biryani, which was oily and lacked flavor. There was no aroma, and the biryani had no real masala or spice.
The green chutney served with it was watery, not thick or flavorful.
The raita was overly sweet, which didn’t complement the biryani at all.

I had an amazing dining experience! The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and showed great attention to detail. The quality of ingredients was top-notch, and the balance of spices and seasoning was spot on.

Cream Centre Veg Bistro- Proudly Veg restaurant in Mumbai. I visited their outlet in Phoenix Marketcity at Kurla. I had a great experience in the Cream Centre at City Mall.
We had Veg Manchow soup and Spring Veggie Soup. Both are good in taste. Then we had Delhi chaat and papdi chaat. Both chaats were okay. Not so great.
In the Main course, we had Veg Nazami and Dal Makhni with Tandoori Roti and Naan. The food was delicious and flavoursome.
Not spicy not oily. All ingredients were fresh and the spices were perfect. Don't miss their CARROT PICKLE😍 best in taste. They also served vinegar onions.
I also had lemonade which was refreshing for me.
The quantity was good enough for the two of us. We loved the quality and taste.
The ambience and seating arrangements were great.

The staff here is excellent and the food is great. Anyone who knows Cream centre knows that the cost is worth the quality.

Amazing hospitality! Mount Fuji is a must-try for all dessert lovers. Visited during Ganesh Chaturthi and had a wonderful lunch with delectable dumplings and sushi. The staff deserves a special mention – they were all extremely courteous. Truly a delightful experience!
Food was awesome. There were plenty options too. The portions were small but tasty. The service could be better found them to be too busy and lost . Hardly anyone smiled in the staff. Also the songs were okay not trending. The place was crowded and noisy thus not the experience one has for the money spent. Though as a mukhvas they gave a ginger candy and coconut candy packet which was very delicious . The friend Prawns were different and tasty.

The hotel’s proximity to the airport makes it an ideal choice for travelers. Whether you're arriving late or catching an early flight, it takes no more than 10-15 minutes to get there, which is a huge bonus. The dining experience at the hotel is a highlight. With a wide range of options, whether you're craving local delicacies or international flavor. I especially enjoyed the fusion of international and regional flavors at the on-site restaurant.
The rooms are nice, clean and spacious. The room had a nice garden view. The staff is very responsive and cooperating. They have both smoking and non-smoking rooms. They offer complimentary lunch/dinner. But I loved the breakfast buffet. The food was tantalizing. But I didn't like the nonveg dishes much. The dessert section was good. And if you are ordering coffee it's disappointing to see that they serve machine made coffee.
The pool is open from 6am till 8pm.

Noted 5 star on location in case you need close to the airport (5 min drive) but there are better locations for other touristic needs.
This is genuinely the hardest review I've ever had to write. We stayed for three nights, and the staff at the ITC Maratha are some of the kindest, most accommodating people I've encountered. They are the only reason this review isn't much harsher.
The experience started perfectly: we checked in past midnight, and the process was quick and easy. Crucially, since we were traveling with a baby, they generously upgraded our room, which was a deeply appreciated and thoughtful gesture. Even with a loud wedding going on during our stay, we didn't have any issues with noise or disruption. The rooms were clean, and for Mumbai, the size was reasonable, though the overall cost feels steep for what you get. The location is also quite far from many of the tourist spots, making it really only convenient if you have an early flight to catch.
My biggest conflict comes down to the quality of the hotel product itself versus the quality of the service. I stay at 5-star hotels for the luxury experience, and honestly, the reception lobby and general infrastructure here don't deliver that feeling. It just doesn't look like the 5-star hotel the exterior suggests.
But the absolute letdown was the breakfast.
I have to be completely honest: the spread was poor, and the food quality was even worse—easily 0-star. To have the exact same, bad-tasting options for three consecutive mornings was a nightmare. I’ve genuinely had better, more varied offerings at lower-category ITC properties. The worst part is that the servers and people taking our orders were so incredibly nice and friendly; it physically hurts to critique the food they serve.
In summary, the staff, check-in, and personalized service are all an undeniable 5 out of 5 stars. The overall stay experience is a solid 4 stars, carried entirely by the staff. However, the breakfast and overall culinary quality were a 0-star experience that completely spoiled the luxury element of the stay. I hope the management can address the infrastructure and food, because the team they have on the ground is truly exceptional.

Jai Hind Lunch Home in Bandra East is a renowned seafood chain that has been serving affordable and delectable seafood dishes since 1978. The managers and waiters all are very accomodating, welcoming and serve with a smile. Parking is available on the road.

Overheard multiple tables order the Bombay duck and some variety of a prawns preparation so I'd say those two are probably where to start when it's your first time here.
Seating is cramped but the waiters and staff manage and keep things flowing and it never feels chaotic in an overwhelming way.
Classic thali place that we've been going to for years now. All their food is really good, especially considering the prices.
I loved their prawns hirwa masala with fresh soft dosa.
The mutton sagoti thali was delicious but the prawns masala thali was even better somehow. The gravy for the prawns was very rich in flavour.
The prawns Koliwada was decent too, so I feel it was served in a rush, they served it without any curry leaves.

Located just off the WEH, Bandra East, just before the BKC main signal. The wait time on an average is 30-45 mins on weekends and on weekdays it's 20-30 mins. This place is a gem for seafood lovers. Quick service and good quality food. The prices are also quite affordable.
We tried Bombil Fry, Surmai Thali, Prawns Masala Thali, Wade with chicken sukkha.
The food taste was really good but the quantity was less for all the dish that we have ordered with respect to price
Jai hind has great food! I had butter chicken, butter naan, chicken kolhapuri and all of them were very tasty, especially the butter chicken. The chicken kolhapuri had the perfect level of spiciness! I also had solakadi, and it was the best thing of the whole meal! Would recommend trying out the solakadi when visiting here! 9/10

We were first dicy as the rating on zomato was 3.9 but we thought to give it a try as we love exploring the authentic Italian cuisine and this was very close to the dishes we had in Italy!!

To start with, the buffalo mozzarella pizza where the base was very well fermented and the fresh tomato sauce along with fresh buffalo mozzarella and basil leaves was the perfect start to our dinner! We also ordered for their spinach and ricotta ravioli along with cacio e pepe pasta!!
All the above dishes are a must must try for sure!! Do not miss out on the cacio e pepe pasta!
We also ordered for an affogato but was a bit disappointed as we expected the gelato to be more smooth and creamy but nonetheless the overall experience was amazingggg! Will for sure visit again!

I don't like the taste of the food at all. We ordered Pizza and Pasta. Pizza - Taste of the tomato was so raw, it was taste like home made tomato ketchup. Pesto pasta - Pesto was not at all creamy. Compulsory 10% service charge is too much for below avg overpriced food.
Visited this restaurant for brunch with a friend. Mayuresh extended very warm service and was extremely considerate. You must try their Tiramisu! Oh and also cold coffee! And also Italian food.

Randomly walked into this place after a long day at work.
Trust me, the place is so beautiful, and for aesthetics it'll be a 10/10 even by the strictest yardstick.
I ordered a bruschetta and a chocolate mud cake cutting. Excellently prepared. Quick service. I'd rate the food 10/10 on most days.
Absolutely light on the pocket.

Amazing Burgers at pocket friendly rates. Do try their Crunchy Paneer Burger. I've been having burgers since 5 years and the taste hasn't changed a bit.
We also tried Pizza like Sandwich which was Okay.
This place is near vile parle station east. It is great if you want to have pizza, pasta, burger etc. They have opened a small good food cafe opposite to this outlet.

3) White sauce Arrabbiata pasta - White penne pasta. Nothing can go wrong with white sauce pasta :) awesome cheesy and creamy pasta.

4) Hummus falafel pizza - This was a new pizza. I love the concept of hummus and falafel on pizza. Loved the flavours, sauces, falafel and presentation. I would again go back for this pizza as it is combination of hummus falafel and pizza. :) :D
