Nestled along the stunning coastline of Vietnam, the Mui Ne Fishing Village Market is a delightful gem that captures the essence of local life. While it may be smaller than its counterparts, this market offers an authentic experience with an array of fresh seafood that reflects the village's rich fishing heritage. Visitors can immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere, where local fishermen showcase their daily catch and vendors display colorful produce.
Very fun experience!!! Finally got to do train street. I had a glass of red wine. Got some amazing pictures/videos. The lady was very helpful taking pictures of me and my boyfriend. Good atmosphere. Handy tip! My boyfriend ordered a Hanoi beer. If you keep the bottle top and lay it onto train track before the train comes. It flattens the top making a souvenir

One of biggest main markets in Thanh Hoa city. Good place for tranditional garment and textile lovers. This market is focus on clothing, sewing , fixing and accessories for fashion in this city. The fresh food and delifood here has good quality. Snacks and desserts shops has fairy good taste and. leaniness. Closing time is quite soon. Highly reccomend visit at morning time and after 3pm.
Nicole P — Google review
Train Street in Hanoi (Southern section) is definitely an experience and worth checking out at least once. In just an hour, we saw three trains pass by—each with plenty of carriages and very close to where we were sitting. It gets crowded, though less so than the main northern stretch, and food and drinks are a bit overpriced, as expected in a touristy spot. You do need to stay seated and alert, as the train comes through fast and close. A unique, exciting place for a quick visit and some great photos and videos
John W — Google review
A must-visit experience in Hanoi. You can contact any cafe to know the train timing and book a nice seat to have the experience. Trains run too close to you and please take necessary precautions for safety. The place is easily accessible by Grab and has no restrictions like the one in the North.
Deepak K — Google review
I’m so glad I decided to go to the southern part of train street. It was much less crowded. Don’t let the first restaurant pull you in. Keep walking until you get closer to the curve in the tracks. It makes for a much better photo op. The servers of all the restaurants were great about taking pictures and helping to pose people. I was really surprised by just how close the train gets. It definitely gets your adrenaline pumping
Katie F — Google review
Must-see, must-do experience. It is unique in its own way to sit down for a coffee or a beer and watch a regular passenger train run less than an arm's length away. When we visited the best time to be there was 7pm as before 7 and 8 the were 3 trains passing by.
Daniel N — Google review
So much fun. Definitely a unique experience you can only get here in Hanoi. It is a must visit and try when you are traveling to Hanoi.
Ji Y — Google review
A good place to enter the Train Street to avoid crowds. No police checks, some cafe owners are pushy but you can easily chose where you want to sit.

Hòn Rơm is a picturesque mountain located 28 km from Phan Thiet city, in Long Son hamlet, Mui Ne ward. The area boasts stunning coastal views with clear blue waters and gentle golden sand hills lined with coconut palms. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, stargazing at night, or even organize a campfire.
Nice chilled beach, BYO food and beers because there ain't a lot around on the beach.

The rooms are fine enough, no ice in the fridge. The sea water was not very clear, diner menu was subpar.

As of 30.04.2024: Full of trash. Not worth visiting here.

The sand area spans as far as the eye can see. Extremely photogenic with strong winds and hills surrounding. The seawater is always a bit dull looking and greyish during Autumn due to a change of the wave or something (I got this from locals)

The Bay Mui Ne offers beachfront accommodations with easy access to attractions like Long Beach Pearl Museum and Tropical Minigolf. A bit more than 4 hours from Ho Chi Minh. Nice beaches, fresh seafood. Some beaches almost empty. Undercurrent may be sometimes a bit strong, but it is ok. So make sure you have a sunscreen, hat and water enough. I would really recommend 👌.

We are there to celebrate my birthday last nov. 28 we stay at Meraki Oasis Hotel who has this very beautiful infinity pool. The wave is very high and strong during that time so I dont recommend swimming on the beach. So many local seafood restaurant. This place is very accessible from HCMC so if you want to escape the bustle of the city come in this tranquil beach place.
Leo I — Google review
Beach is more or less gone - there are some parts of sand at some resorts and at the western end (Kite surfing school) and at Papa Kite school, where I got my birthday Kite day! (great) The water is green brownish (5.Dec) the clouds are grey...
Torsten S — Google review
Beach experience was ok, water was semi clean, and the fresh seafood was delicious. Wasn’t crowded which was perfect, was very quiet and peaceful overall
James N — Google review
Stunning beautiful beach, but you can't swim. The undercurrent is so strong that just having a paddle in the water nearly takes your feet from under you. You can't sunbathe it's impossible. The wind is around 34 knts constant. The best conditions for surfing, etc. I'm not sure if the wind ever actually dies down.
Diane L — Google review
It's a mix of both clean and not so clean beaches. Most resort adjoining the beach have maintained well. The open places are more occupied by the local fishermen. All in all a good walk during evening to enjoy the weather..

Very beautiful view 😍😍 I like it but it is not thing there that much. It is very peaceful 🤤

That is the best trip I’ve ever had with two friends. Although 4 hours on the road and 3 hours on the beach that had made us loss a lot of strength, we had been so excited when we were accompanying together. Thanks a lot my friend’s father who helped me to get 3 fishes from the ocean with about 20 meters deep. I also don’t know what to say to my bro Hieu who gave us the most beautiful time on his hometown Phan Thiet. Mr. Bao and I had had the great experience after the long string work.

Đồi Cát Đỏ, also known as the Red Sand Dunes, is a striking dune system located near the sea in Mui Ne and Phan Thiet. These dunes offer a unique experience with activities such as sand sledding and breathtaking views of the sunset. Situated just a few kilometers from the city center, they are easily accessible on foot or by tour.
Very pretty! If you’re not doing the jeep tour, go during the day and it’s basically empty! We took some awesome photos.
Nilou K — Google review
The white sand dunes are definitely cool to see, and the scenery is quite unique. However, the visit is fairly quick unless you opt for activities like riding an ATV or taking a jeep tour—these are fun but can get pricey. Besides these activities, there isn’t much else to do in the area. It’s a great experience to try at least once for the views and adventure, but it’s not something I’d feel the need to revisit. Worth a visit if you’re in the area, though!
Andrei F — Google review
Red Sand Dunes. Whoever named this place clearly lost a fight with a Crayola box. Spoiler: it’s not that red. It’s more like “slightly dirty orange” or “did someone spill paprika on the beige dunes.” If you came here expecting Mars, congrats, you just landed in your neighbor’s cat litter tray after taco night. What’s actually here? Sand. Shocking, I know. A few locals selling drinks and snacks because, let’s be honest, they know you’ll cave once the sun starts deep-frying your soul. That’s it. No ATVs, no cinematic vistas, just a sandy hill and your own bad life choices. But here’s the plot twist: it’s free. And that alone makes it superior to White Sand Dunes, where you pay actual dongs just to get sunburned and robbed by gravity. Here, you just stroll in, sink into sand that looks like it gave up trying to be red, and pretend you’re cultured while sweating through your clothes. So yeah, Red Sand Dunes: still boring, still sand, but at least your wallet survives. Call it the Costco sample version of tourist traps—cheap, slightly disappointing, but somehow better than the overpriced full product.
Wade W — Google review
The Red Sand Dunes in Mũi Né offer a more laid-back, quieter experience compared to the more popular White Sand Dunes. While they don’t have the same vast expanse or major attractions, they still provide a peaceful escape and a chance to enjoy the unique desert landscape. The reddish hue of the sand is striking and makes for great photo opportunities, especially around sunrise and sunset when the light casts beautiful shadows across the dunes. There are some activities available, like sandboarding, though they’re less commercialized and not as intense as at the White Sand Dunes. If you're looking for a more relaxed, short stop to explore the dunes or capture a few photos, it’s a nice place to visit. That said, there's not much else to do here beyond walking around and taking in the view, so it’s best for those who want a quiet break rather than a full-day adventure. If you're in the area and have some spare time, the Red Sand Dunes are worth a brief visit, but don’t expect the same level of excitement or scale as their White counterparts.
Suraj S — Google review
There are not only here to play the sand dune. this is just one of it. My driver bring here when I say I want to go to sand dune but so at first we just want to take photo and leave to the ATV place but after we takephotos. there was a local girl offering us to play the sandboarding and my friend want to play it since the price they offer is 50k/board so we think wejust want to rent for 2 board only and just take turns to play. we need to walk few minutes to arrive at place where not so many people and play there. thegirl offer to take our pictures and record videos of us playing that sandboarding. After the session end, she ask for tips and we agree to give tip100k. my friend already give 100k to her but she ask for another 100k to give to her mum. we pissed off because its too much as we are not that rich to givetip 200k easily! but because most of us are soft hearted so we give 50k more to her. that’s all. So moral of the story, if they offer to take your picture, just say no if don’t want to pay tips at the end of the game. if you want to play ATV, you need to go to other place, not here. I will share it at the next review.
Amira Y — Google review
Family had a blast! Best to go early morning when its not hot and less crowded. Free to wonder around, 50k for sled, and great scenery for desert and ocean view
James N — Google review
Must go for sunset!!! If you get there around 5pm, it's still empty enough to enjoy it without the herds of tourists that come past 5.30pm.
Natalia F — Google review
Nice place and sliding but when I tipped 40k for 10 minutes (which I think is ok for Vietnam) he got angry and yelled at me to give him more. So just go alone and don’t use any service of local people as it will destroy your experience of this place.

Mui Ne Fishing Village

4.0
(2731)
Mui Ne Fishing Village is a serene coastal stretch that spans about 1km, offering a peaceful escape with calm waves and gentle breezes year-round. In the early mornings, visitors can witness the lively trading scene as fishermen return from their night fishing trips. The village provides an opportunity to experience traditional fishing methods and observe the tranquil daily life of coastal fishermen. Additionally, tourists can indulge in a variety of fresh seafood such as squid, fish, shrimp, crabs, and snails at affordable prices.
Mũi Né Fishing Village at sunrise was an incredible experience. We arrived at 5:30 a.m., which is the best time to see the market in full swing. Fishermen were still bringing in their catch, while women sorted, cleaned, and packed the seafood onto motorbikes for distribution. It felt raw and real—a glimpse into daily life here. As the morning went on, the market quieted, and locals arrived to buy fresh seafood from stalls set up right on the sand. A must-visit, especially for photographers! Easily my favorite experience in Mũi Né.
Elisha W — Google review
A signature "attraction" of Mui Ne. This venue is not set up for tourists but a real local fish market. The area has plenty of trash strewn everywhere, but don't let it distract from the evolving authentic slice of daily. Ideally, go at sunrise time (533am) and feel the place comes alive. A photographer's heaven indeed. By 645am, the activities would have thin out by then. With waking up early for this gem. No entrance free needed.
Jensen P — Google review
Great little morning trip with a duration for about 90 min from Panadus resort. First fish market on the beach, then a walk to the fish market in town and then return. Good guide that gave us a good insight in this little town.
Erik B — Google review
It used to be when you climbed down the stairs you'll get cheap and good seafood. The stall owners who run it now seems to have swapped a lot of fresh seafood with long dead or clearly spoilt seafood, and they did this 2 days in a row when we patronised them. We thought the first day was a misunderstanding, but after a whole container of spoilt mantis shrimps, a whole plate of hollowed out crabs and a 2nd day of the same, it is clear these people are unrepentant cheaters. Take your chances elsewhere!
Lionel L — Google review
One star for trash everywhere. Fishing village people, seriously? Do you really have to dump everything including plastics and organic waste right onto this beautiful beach?
Bogdan S — Google review
Well, ugly beach with garbage amd dogs. Thr boats looks ok from the balcony.
Vojtěch O — Google review
Live and fresh fish market with a variety of items to purchase. Only thing is was the place was dirty with garbage area and super smelly.
Jonathan L — Google review
The best spot to get a view of the fish village is right in front of a seafood restaurant. Unfortunately, the sightseeing balcony is currently under construction. But don't worry, many tourists are still hopping on and off their Jeeps just to snap a quick picture. Trust me though, it's totally worth stopping by for a bit. While you're here, why not grab a cup of their famous hot coffee( Vietnamese dripping coffee)? Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the stunning views of the noon and sunset. It's absolutely beautiful!

Fishing Village Hotel & Restaurant offers simple and comfortable rooms in a relaxed setting, with the added charm of an open-air restaurant that provides picturesque views of the bay. While it may not host large beach parties, it does offer fresh seafood options, although some guests have reported issues with service and restroom cleanliness. On the upside, the hotel's spacious accommodations are located right on the beach, allowing guests to enjoy the soothing sound of waves while indulging in a delightful dinner experience.
10/10 best restaurants in the city. Highly recommend. Good service and Tie Tie so nice

Food is average. The dining hall and rooms are also average, suitable for tourist groups. The restaurant is by the sea so it's nice to have a meal and enjoy the wind and hear the wave.

Food came out slow but was quite cold even after having requested to be reheated. Very expensive with tiny dishes that are not really tasty. There are way more better restaurants out there so don't waste your money here if you want good food. Services was also bad as they had more staff than guests at that time but couldn't bring the bill over after being asked for several times. The waitresses were playing on their phones and asked us to wait 15+minutes for the bill. The only plus about this is the beach view. Ma'c - Nau an rat do - Do an nguoi - Phuc vu cham chap

Gia Huy Restaurant & Store is a popular spot with good prices and delicious food. The seafood, including fish and scallops, is particularly fresh and tasty. Visitors can enjoy a variety of dishes, such as prawn stir fry and tempura, at reasonable prices. In addition to the restaurant, there's a convenient store selling small provisions next door. Customers appreciate the fair prices for items like water.
Very tasty fresh food, friendly atmosphere, affordable prices. I recommend squid dishes, morning glory, seafood tempura and soups. Fresh coconut is a must to complete your visit here 😊

Great food, great selection, very good price wine (120-150k dong bottles of Vietnamese wine - was quite good!). We ate here four nights. Very busy sometimes not enough seats. All customers were tourists, I suspect all from the resort across the street. My major criticism is the service- they were very slow. Often had to wait 20-30 minutes for your food. They need more staff on busier nights.

Right across the street from the Pandanus resort. Very convenient. Huge menu but we only had the vietnamese food. Lunch for Family of 11 dining total cost 850k vnd, value for money. Normal nice, home cooked food. The sour fish was really good. Food seemed clean, the vegetables are super fresh.

Best non fine dining food we had on our three week trip through Vietnam. The grilled oyster in butter and garlic are to die for and the cocktails are also good. Paid 1.3M for 7 people who had a bunch of cocktails and a lot of food.

Really love this restaurant. Their prices are good and the food is good too! Their fish and scallops are super super fresh. The 2 of us ate non-stop (we did not eat lunch so our dinner was 2 meals combined into 1). Ordered a lot of food and total was 400+k VND. There is a shop next to the restaurant that sells some small provisions. We bought 1.5 litres of water for 10, 000 VND. I think that is a fair price. We loved the garlic butter scallops and red snapper. The pumpkin soup with cheese was a hit with me but a miss with my partner. Wings were okay. French fries were great. Soft drinks are 10,000 or 11,000 VND. Super good value. Would come again!

Excellent budget option in Mui Ne with an unbeatable beachside location! There is such a wonderfully positive and friendly atmosphere here; the staff were all helpful and inviting. It is a great place to meet other like-minded travelers, whether in the expansive commons room, on the beach, etc. The beach is stunning - pristine, empty, and long with beautiful dunes in the distance. There is constantly a cool ocean breeze blowing through that makes for very comfortable temps even in the hottest months.

Backpacker finders this place is for you! Huge place with young people to welcome you. This is clean, cheap and fun. It is next to a beautiful beach. A little bit outside the center of Mũi Né but you have a the possibility to take a bus to go to the center and it is very cheap.

Hipsters & bachelors resort with beach bar & restaurant operated 24/7 which I liked including 1$ menu. Tents are affordable & suitable for backpackers. Considerations: Music has to change from hip hop to house-techno. Staff with drop of math sense coz they can't count your bills. Couple of times they've charged me more than my order and when I asked them about the difference they told me that the waiter will give it to me with my dish which he didn't 😭😭😭
