Mohammed bin Rashid Library

I love to visit local libraries and MBRL is a great place for studying/working. Each floor is dedicated for a certain category of books. There are study rooms, meeting rooms and casual seating. Some operate on first come first serve and some require reservation. You can book a spot for study/meeting rooms at the information center in ground floor. The library is very quiet and well-maintained. Highly recommend if you are looking for some focus time. Don’t miss the huge wall of Arabic collection in ground floor! There’s a cafe as well, although the options are limited.

Here is really one of my favorite places in Dubai. Whatever the layout outside and inside, it’s totally flawless. Especially I like spending my personal time alone here, maybe do some reading or enjoy the time alone. And it is really worthy to be a five-star review. But why I give 4 stars? I really wish that here it will be better and better. For example, some private spaces are always occupied by laptop or books but nobody uses them. Maybe until afternoon, these “hardworking” people will show up. It’s totally a public space waste. I think it should set up some rules to prevent these kinds of selfish occasions.

I visited this library with my family, and we were all amazed by how big and beautiful it is, both inside and out. From a distance, the building is uniquely shaped like an open book, which makes it stand out architecturally. Inside, the space is spotless and very well maintained. The layout and design are thoughtfully done, with neatly arranged books and modern interiors that create a welcoming and peaceful environment. There's even a dedicated children’s area with books and a small play zone, making it perfect for families. One of the highlights is the museum upstairs, where you can explore fascinating historical artifacts and items, an unexpected bonus to an already impressive place. It’s definitely a must visit spot if you’re in Dubai. The best part, it’s free to enter! You can easily walk there from Dubai Creek Metro Station (Green Line), or if the weather is too hot, a quick taxi ride will get you there comfortably.

One of the best libraries I’ve visited in Dubai! The place is quiet, clean, and beautifully designed..perfect for reading, studying, or working. There’s a huge variety of books, great facilities, and even comfortable spots to sit and relax. The staff are very helpful and polite. Honestly, it’s such a peaceful place that makes you want to stay for hours. Highly recommend visiting!

The location by Dubai Creek Harbour gives it a peaceful atmosphere, and the views from the terraces are stunning. It’s also free to enter, though registering in advance for membership makes the visit smoother. Parking is convenient, and the staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. Overall, MBRL is not just a library—it’s a cultural and architectural landmark that reflects Dubai’s vision for knowledge and innovation. A must-visit for students, researchers, book lovers, or anyone who appreciates learning and culture.
