Meatball appetizer was exceptional; yet the filet mignon was cooked incorrectly, cold and wasn't melt in your mouth delicious. Some of the absolute best dinosaur displays Ive seen. Breathtaking exhibit. Also an incredible Bird Hall. The Hall of American and African Animals is also fantastic. We were very excited to see the Egyptian Exhibit, but it was sadly closed. The section with gems and minerals to enormous and had we had more than a day to do the museum we would have spent more time exploring that as well. There is a cafe in the basement that had a nice selection of hot and cold items. The store was really comprehensive. Parking was very expensive which seemed excessive given its on top of the cost of getting into the museum. But overall it was worth it. If you take the elevator mind the note inside the elevator that tells you what floor to use for the Museum. Of note, one ticket gets you into BOTH the Museum of Natural History and the Art Museum and both are under the same roof. You can explore each one and the stores are very close to each other.

To my knowledge, alleys get paid to put up these TVs so that BCTV can make money off advertisers. It's a shame that Arsenal felt they had to, even if saying no seemed like turning down free money. The fact that they saved a church from being torn down by turning into a restaurant was a great idea. There were many items that caught my attention. Our waitress was great at what she does. The restaurant is nice. To kick it off as soon as I was about to sit down, there were crumbs all over the seat so I had to dust them off. From my entrée, I got the scallops which came with the risotto. The risotto was actually really good. However, some of the rice in the risotto wasn’t fully cooked. The scallops by themselves were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The reason giving the food three stars is because multiple of the food items we received just weren’t really good but the scallops made up for it so I bumped up the stars. The atmosphere is super inviting. Clean, plenty of space. Nice outdoor space too. The keep everything well maintained and the space is very thoughtful. Great merch. They make it easily to bring food or utilize their food trucks. Love that they have a little propagation station. I do wish the acoustics were slightly better as it does very quickly get a bit too loud especially when the doors are down. I also wish there was slightly more seating and also a few extra tables that are a bit more accessibility/mobility friendly. I disagree with some of the other reviews on here and recommend giving it a shot vs going based on the reviews. I value my dog the most over everything and would it be nice to pop in quickly after a long walk, sure, but I’d never fault them for not being dog friendly. I’ve been at breweries where people bring unfriendly dogs, where dogs have knocked things over etc. Dancing Gnome is also right by a busy street - not the most ideal place to bring a dog. Their policy has always been clear - posted on their website and on signage out front. I’ve gone to Dancing Gnome many times with babies or toddlers. I’ve never had a bad experience. They have a family bathroom with a changing table and staff has always been engaging with the kids. We have always respected that while they allow kids it is still a brewery and the focus is on adults so we make sure to bring something to entertain the kids and make sure they aren’t too loud to bother others. They make their policy about kids clear on their website as well. I’ve always had really good experiences with staff. They are open to explaining, giving recommendations, etc. have always been greeted, quickly, and with a smile. I’ve never had a bad beer there though some might not be for me/my favorite. They are very IPA inspired. Dancing Gnome is always very thoughtful with their charitable donations. They do A LOT in the community, often a lot that most people don’t know about as they aren’t over the top with communicating about it. Just really strong community partners.
