I still think everyone needs to make this a stop when visiting savannh ga. Its easy to stroll through even if you have a walking disability their is a elevator so you will be able yo see the entire tour and bathroom is clean. The drinks are good. We liked it so much that we decided to take it again. We had a fantastic time from 11AM to 5:30PM. We had three different drivers on 10/10/25. Ellis was our favorite as he provided us with a comprehensive, congenial history of the city as we traveled to 16 stops in 90+ minutes. He also recommended an excellent place for lunch, which we enjoyed. We also ate dinner there. We had perfect weather - sunny and cloudy, and no rain. It was cool as we rode from stop to stop. We went to every stop, and when it started over again, we got off at stop 10 to eat and shop. We walked to stop 11 and got on again. This time we got off at the Riverwalk. We shopped, and got back on, riding to stop 9 where our car was parked at the visitor center. There are two tours: 75 minute historical tour in an enclosed white bus and a 90 minute tour in an open air yellow bus with individual & different commentary by the driver you have. We have not tried the first one. We like being able to get on and off, and listening to different drivers' perspectives. The staff at each of the visitor centers housing the tour are friendly and knowledgeable. They gave us coupons with our map. Arrived after the park office had closed but it was pretty easy to figure out where I was going from the reservation packet they had left to the left of the entrance. No information about where to park for hike-in sites. The hike was short but nice. The right-hand trail of the loop (the shortest way to site 1) is closed but it still took less than 20 minutes to get to the site. Site is pretty small with no fire ring and it is right next to the “lookout platform” (kinda disappointing- it’s only about 7 or 8 feet off of the ground) so if anyone wants to go there they will be traipsing through your campsite. But the hike in sites are far away from the main campground so not sure that many people would be interested (no one came through my site in the 12 hours or so I was there). The location is nice, right at the edge of a wetland area with a small waterway right in front of the lookout center, but the bugs are relentless. The no see ums were so bad I could not enjoy my dinner on the lookout platform like I had hoped, and the campground rules state that you are not allowed to have a fire unless it is in a designated ring so I spent 99% of my time there in my tent hiding from the bugs. Maybe it was just the time of year, but I don’t think I would stay here again. Also, they charge you a parking/access fee and I think that’s pretty crap to be charged for that when you are already paying for camping.

It is definitely different than any other children’s museum we’ve been to, but in a good way. It’s all outdoors. There is a walk from parking but you get to see the trains without having to pay train museum admission (which was sufficient for my toddler lol). When we visited, there was a water table, sand kitchen and garden that my kiddos particularly loved. We stayed around 2 hours and basically had to drag my kid out - he would have stayed in the sand kitchen forever. It is smaller and I think geared more towards younger kids, but if that what you have then they’ll LOVE it. I could see us coming back again if we were in the area. It was only April and warm - I am sure it gets HOT in the summer as there is minimal shade and it’s all outdoors. The ghost stories on the way to the show were very informative. The theatrical show was really good, the staff were pretty darn good!!! We had a little girl that kept on screaming which added to the ambiance. One thing I wish they could offer are drinks for sale on the trolley on the way to the show. You’re immersed in the dark and haunted history of Savannah and become part of the story. It was one of the most fascinating ways to experience a performance that I’ve had and I highly recommend the show. It’s family friendly although some younger children may be really scared, whether a child can handle the show will be up to the parents judgment but it was amazing and there were multiple children there who were just fine. I will definitely come back and I plan to bring friends and family to the show the next time I’m in town. You also ride the trolley and hear about the haunted stories of the city before the show which was a really cool double feature. Highly recommend the show!

The room itself could have offered one or two more details for aesthetics, in my personal opinion but the room was pleasant enough...clean bathroom as well. The two main issues that I had however was the Wi-Fi would NOT connect to where my phone could allow me to cast my Hulu or Netflix app which has NEVER been an issue before. There was a constant issue saying that their Wi-Fi "did not have internet" though it was connected to my phone, and it offered another Wi-Fi access which my phone connected to with no problem as well, but their TV was NOT connected to that particular Wi-Fi service, and I kept getting messages that there was no service. I asked for assistance from the front desk a couple times and they didn't know what to do and the options they gave me weren't working; essentially this was a first world problem so it didn't break my stay but it did not help enhance it so that I could be comfortable to watch what I chose versus what was on a few of their movie channels. So that could have been better, however regarding service everything was wonderful. At the front desk however there were two young ladies that assisted me for most of my stay as they were there during the evening, they're both White, young women, dressed very professionally and sounded pleasant but I will say the one young lady with the red/ginger hair, with a short cut, was INCREDIBLY professional with her demeanor, tone, how she spoke with me and in her Candor which I appreciate it very much, the other young woman I think was a little too comfortable in her approach in how she spoke with me. She was NOT rude however I do think it's a learning opportunity....there is a difference when you're in a bit of a high-end hotel and you start off as if you know the person too well...that's not comfortable for me. This hotel is in an adorable location and has GREAT access to a lot of things. I wish the weather was better and my time was longer so that I could experience them, but in general this particular Hotel I WOULD come back to.. however it seemed like only one of four of the elevators were working😬
