We most enjoyed the musket demonstration where the soldier explained how the guns, bullets, and bayonets were used in battles and skirmishes. Hands down the top experience was the Massie Heritage Center. Fort Pulaski was a close second. The instruction provided to our girls at Massie Heritage Center was first rate. The exhibits are amazing. They are leaving out some important facts and contributors to the history of moonshine and the affect it had on many people. I found it very interesting that the only information regarding, history, affect, class, government, distrubution, who ,where...etc how of the proabition era only highlights the caucasian view point. But when you get to the speakeasy in the second room off the bar on two corner walls they displayed a few african american musican that lived in the proabition era but their was know history of how, what or where on contribution, affect, livelyhood, nor government laws regarding proabition and the african american people /community nor other people of color that played a part in proabition era. But all the staff was very helpful and nice people they even dressed in that era and was very willing to give their scripted information about proabition and the affect it had on perticually one race of people from high class to poverty class. The speakeasy was at the end and once you get to that door it will make you laugh, because it was fun to know what people did to get into these unlawful establishments. Great photo ops in this place. I still think everyone needs to make this a stop when visiting savannh ga. Its easy to stroll through even if you have a walking disability their is a elevator so you will be able yo see the entire tour and bathroom is clean. The drinks are good. Service at bar was slow, they had one lady behind bar,but its was okay because the drink was worth the waite and the atmosphere nice. I truly enjoyed.I was their about 2hrs. Note if you want to have a actual alcohol drink you must go any day but Sunday, No alcohol servered in museum on sunday. Trust its made good "Mary Pickford"

The story began in January 1942 in Savannah Georgia, when the United States Army Corps assigned seven men without a single aircraft to a newly formed 8th Air Force. Thanks to them the day went much better and we ended up having fun. I’ll try the other park next time though! I understand I’m not entitled to free napkins. It’s the attitude that got me. And if she had helped me, I was going to get my son some of their pizza. Never will now. I prioritize service over everything else. No thanks.

She then argued with my mother who has MS & was already stressed by this situation that was happening mid show. She even told us if we wanted to stand we had to stand in the isles.. thats a fire hazard. So my mom ask to speak to a superior & the employee says “i am the boss theres no one higher then me u will be speaking to me” then she threatened to have my mom removed for questioning her. While all this was happening other people were complaining about other people standing. So im not sure what the issue was but we come to a concert to have fun & that includes standing/dancing. Lauren daigle herself told people to get up & dance. That employee completely ruined our time & caused my mom to miss half the show it was the worst concert experience I have ever had & could have caused my mom some serious health issues from the stress.

We booked the Sorrel-Weed tour because we wanted to see the house as much as hearing the ghost tales, plus it was walking distance from where we were staying. Our original booking was changed to another slot for some reason but it worked out for us so no worries. There were about 12 other people on the tour. A little crowded but not bad. Our tour guide, Luna, was great; genuine and invested in the history, including her own stories. Wasn't the over the top acting we witnessed walking around the outside with other tour groups. Disappointed that the upstairs was not ready for touring but gives us something to come back to. The staging of the house was nice and darkened for atmosphere, of course. Wife had an auditory experience that I did not hear. Will mark this for a repeat trip. Well worth making it something to do on a night out.

Nora was the best tour guide! She was thorough with explaining the history and I liked how she gave the possible theories that are rumored to be the explanations of how things happened. Ny son has been researching this place for months he was so excited. Nora answered any questions that came up. I will say....the hooded man's breezeway.....my son didnt see him in the breezeway but he did see him in the first floor foyer! It was funny to see the outside walking tours as we were walking up the steps to start the tour and the guides were saying "This is the Sorrel house, and look those are braver souls than I". She also goves you some extra time on each floor to explor a bit and take photos, no flash to preserve the arsuch of course. Highly recommend!!

Amber was very knowledgeable about the house and the people that lived there and about the spirits that are still there. She gave us free range of the house except for the upstairs due to construction. Alot of guides like to give an intro to the place that takes up investigation time but she breezed through it in a half an hour or maybe a little less which gave us more time to investigate (much appreciated). We will definitely be back to investigate more once the upstairs is open.

This place had the baked goods and the coffee and she approved. We had a trio of coffee selections with a hot, cold between and a Cuban coffee.
