We arrived in the early hours of the morning and were greeted by a smile and exceptional service by Andrew who got us checked in and showed us to our room. We stayed in the main Manor House which we loved as were close to everything and the rooms are out of this world, you really feel like you are staying in a palace. The hotel is like something from a fairytale, it’s immaculate and every corner you turn is just beautiful. We spent most of our days at the grand pool and were looked after by the staff who work so hard constantly in the heat to ensure you have everything you need (sorry we can’t remember your names but you are amazing!) We cannot thank the staff enough for their attentiveness throughout our whole stay, with a special mention to our housekeeper Susmita who was so kind and made sure we were comfortable in our room, Marinelle in Zest restaurant who greeted us every morning with a smile and our dedicated host Casey who was always checking in to ensure we had everything we required. These people we had the most contact with but every person was incredible. We are already looking forward to returning and feel like we now won’t be able to stay anywhere else after our experience at the One and Only. Thank you again and see you next year

The hotel is spotlessly clean, decorated and designed beautifully and the service some of the best I’ve had in hotels around the world. Having a suite with a good sized pool, enabled us to have a host service, which for us was Ian and he ensured we wanted for absolutely nothing and made our stay all the more better. He was able to help us with everything from sourcing forgotten items, to confirming reservations at one of their 4 restaurants - all of which offered fantastic food; the in room dining service was also magnificent, there was an enormous breakfast buffet and a la Carte offering and I don’t think we had a single bad meal. The beach and pool areas, as well as the grounds are spotless and maintained daily and another nice touch is the Hotel’s collection of Rabbits and Falconers who carry Owls and Hawks. The staff all over the hotel are profoundly friendly and helpful and special mentions for us go to Ian (of course), Joel on the beach, Krishna, Jerzy(?) and the whole breakfast team, as well as the Concierge team who are very keen to assist when entering and leaving the resort.

The place is really cozy and unique. The place is also quiet and very serene. I love the interiors as its giving the Old Dubai vibes. The staff are very accommodating and polite. I thought a boutique hotel so obviously crafted with love and a lot of thought would be equally mindful of their guests. Unfortunately, it’s def missing the mark of putting themselves in their guests shoes. And a lot of their guests are exhausted from multi-hour travel and really don’t have no energy to search for hotel for 30 minutes under the midday sun. Xva hotel is hard to find if you’ve never stayed in it. For a hotel that has been in business multiple years and that has heard their guess express the same “hard to find” grievance, you’d expect an action - maybe sending you a map with marked directions or a video walk through - even my nail tech has done that and she is a much smaller business. But no welcome email or a video upon request. Due to construction in the area, the Google maps directions for the hotel are wrong. You need to put Al Farooq Mosque as destination. The place itself is gorgeous and the welcome fruit was a lovely touch. Although our room didn’t have windows it was cozy. I have never been a place that not allow Chinese customer to walk in the main entrance of the hotel because of wearing the brand logo of NIKE pant. They changed my visit ticket after seeing me wearing a long pant with NIKE logo. Yet, it is perfectly fine for other non-Chinese customer. It is fully discrimantion to Chinese people. I fully follow the tour attire standard of the hotel stated, but they not allow me to walk from the main hotel entrance because I am a Chinese visitor who wearing NIKE long pant. What a joke? 沙漠里建起这么宏伟的建筑群，真是佩服阿拉伯人的想象力。酒店非常的豪华，设施比较完善，孩子玩的地方多，基本上，吃喝玩乐都不用出酒店了。水上乐园非常适合带孩子度假，玩上两天都没问题。服务也挺好的，有很好的水准。就是中国团来参观的人太多，吵吵闹闹的有点声音大

My mother who is 76yrs old fell on their grounds on one of the steps by the residence, broke her rib and punctured a lung in the first hour of being there. She was in and out of hospital every day and the management were a joke about the whole thing. I would go into details but I won't bother because it just brings back very bad memories. I wouldn't return. Looks like most the staff won't stay long either. The service staff are very good however they get treated terrible by the hotel. They are overworked, underpaid, literally working like modern day slaves. I wouldn't bother spending your hard earned money here any more.

Was woken on the first night at 1am by my neighbours and had to ring down to reception to ask them to send someone up to deal with it. Followed this up the next day and verbal apology was all that was given. Everything requires a booking and instead of making it easy e.g being able to book from your t.v or mobile you must contact each individual place or go down to concierge. The gyn timetable for classes is nowhere to be found so you need to go to the gym and take a picture of the class timetable - easy fix - put it on the t.v! Everything and I mean everything is a money grabbing exercise, cloud22 is a rip off and no priority is given to hotel guests, Nobu by the Beach is crazy expensive and you need to rent a bed. There is nothing that feels like it is included or special for hotel guests. Day trippers and outside guests get a lot more service imo. The rooms are beautiful and have lovely amenities. The buffet breakfast is fantastic. I loved room service and the little gifts left by house keeping. I think there are many improvements which could be made to make hotel guests feel privileged, important and taken care of.

The royal pool has different stages and kids enjoy running around as their feet don’t burn because of the flooded floors. Nothing was too much for the staff and their attention to detail of every member was impeccable. We booked a very comfortable King Deluxe room and it was more than adequate in size and very clean with the room being serviced twice a day. Plenty of space around the pools with a relaxing atmosphere. We chose half board which was a great decision, the food in all restaurants was delicious. It is truly a jewel of a hotel amongst the high rise and we would not hesitate in coming back for a 3rd time or recommending to anyone.

The Ritz Carlton JBR was simply incredible and encompasses what true customer relations is all about. The hotel it self is lovely in the perfect location be it beach access or to walk and explore JBR walk. All amenities you need for a luxurious adult holiday yet the team also massively go over and above to cater for your little children. Food was excellent, service on top form and hotel just lovely! This was our third stay in Dubai and typically like to try new hotels every time on any holiday but now we are torn. Why change! We arrived in Dubai the evening and drove into the hotel while it was bathed in the best lighting I’ve ever seen. We couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. There is too much to detail here it is quite overwhelming. Unfortunately, our experience did not match the expectations we have from a Taj property. While the hotel location is excellent and the lobby was pleasant, the overall stay was disappointing. Manuel was the best - our check in and check out was super smooth. The team are so lovely and friendly here and really do go out their way to help you. Manuel mentioned this will be one of the best hotel breakfasts ever and that we should get there early before it gets busy - I was very impressed by the breakfast, the choice was varied and large (but not overwhelming at the same time), excellent food quality and a really good choice of healthy foods. I’ve done a lot of the renowned hotel breakfasts in Dubai and this is easily the best breakfast I’ve done here. The room was a very good size - beautifully furnished, immaculately clean and we loved our tropical green view of all the plants and trees outside. The resort feels like a green tropical oasis - it felt like I was on an island and was the perfect place to switch off. The gym is very big and might be one of the bettors gyms I’ve seen. The hotel is famous for Twiggy which we enjoyed but we actually preferred the family pool instead - it felt more peaceful, we loved the surrounding greenery. The hotel has a great choice of restaurants too - Thai Kitchen is our favourite always and the hotel is also a very quick walk away from a mall if you need to get anything or want other food options. We loved our stay here and would definitely come back again.

This is a beautiful, well kept classic colonial style hotel on the Palm. A very nice beach and pool where you are well looked after with snacks and drinks by all the staff. You certainly feel important and this is a wonderful feeling when relaxing for a few days. It’s about 40 min from Dubai Mall but taxis are cheap and plenty. This is not a hotel to bring your kids. There is no kids club, no soft play area or other kids activities (phew). Hence it makes it even better for a few days escape. We stayed in an ocean view club room with lounge access. Balcony with two sun loungers. The rooms are bigger than average and are beautiful. The Club lounge is possibly what can improve in this hotel. We checked in for a 2 month stay in one of the apartments. Apart from being old and needing a renovation - our mattresses were literally concave and probably worse than sleeping on the floor. I purchase daily at Peet’s in the mall because it’s just too horrible to even have a free cup at the hotel. I also had to fight with them to not have people smoking with the door open right infront of the restaurant. It took them 7 days to stop allowing it despite my requesting every day. Swimming pool- kids can’t be there past 6pm. No evening swims for the family. The cabanas are old although view of the Burj is nice. Internet constantly goes out. I missed a work call because nobody bothers to inform you when they are doing updates on it here. Bathrooms on ground floor are constantly needing attention. Water on the floors, out of toilet paper… One night after one of the many issues we experienced the hotel called the room to ask if they could provide chips and popcorn for a movie night to apologize. We accepted and agreed they would send up at 7pm. My husband let them know we were starting the movie at 7. 730 I called down to see if they were coming. 8pm I called down again to tell them to bring it or don’t bother. They brought the snacks with 20 minutes left in our movie. Stale popcorn and 5 chips in a jar. Like why? Today which inspired me to leave a review finally- I told them I needed my room cleaned between 12-3. I told them it absolutely had to be done by 3. I get home with my daughter from school at 3. Cleaners are in there and tell me it will be done at 4. I tell the front desk. They don’t care. We also asked for a reduction in our rate since they are now doing renovations at the pool and because the value is not here for what we are paying. Everything was top tier - the room was a great size and very clean. Lukman cleaned my room regularly and my room was always immaculate afterwards. Es läuft durchgehend am Pool recht laute Musik, oft auch durch eine eigene DJane aufgelegt. Wir empfanden die Musik als angenehm und nicht störend. Die Musikauswahl hat gepasst. Nun kommen wir zu unserer größten Kritik: Frühstück und Abendessen Das Essen ist von der Qualität her wirklich gut. Abends gibt es grandioses frisch zubereitetes Sushi und eine weitere, recht große Auswahl an Speisen. Problem ist das es ein bisschen den Eindruck eines All-Inklusive Buffet Urlaubs vermittelt und nicht eines 5-Sterne Premium Hotels in Dubai. Die Lautstärke in dem Restaurant ist schon grenzwertig. Teilweise Warteschlangen (siehe Bilder) um eingelassen zu werden, angefangene Wasserflaschen am Tisch, Getränke teilweise 3x bestellen müssen bis sie dann kamen. Da hatten wir tatsächlich eine andere Erwartungshaltung und haben das auch schon anders in Dubai erlebt. Bei 12 Übernachtungen empfanden wir es zudem so, dass jeden Tag das gleiche Essen angeboten wurde, kaum Veränderungen am Buffet so dass wir die letzten Tage gar nicht mehr zum inkludierten Buffet-Restaurant sind, sondern jeweils in eines der im Hotel befindlichen Restaurants wo wir dann sehr gut gegessen haben. Tipp: Vielleicht weniger Gerichte anbieten, dafür täglich wechseln. Nächster Tipp: vielleicht zeitslots für die Gäste anbieten um so den Andrang etwas zu koordinieren. Zusammenfassend für uns können wir sagen dass wir eine schönen Aufenthalt hatten, die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut und direkt am Strand. I loved my room on the 15th floor with the nice view of the Marina architecture. But, what really gets 5 stars is the lovely hotel receptionist from Kazakhstan, Mirna. My she's such a lovely sight and very professional human being. Truly, loves her job with passion. Hopefully, the next time I stay here I have her check me in to the hotel. Wonderful experience.
