I was looking forward to dessert but had to wait over half an hour for food and while staff may have not cared for my time, I did. If you’re able to get your food to go definitely worth it, but the lacklustre service was something to behold, empty drink and I even had to request my silverware for apparently it’s not something one can expect to be provided with.

We also had the grilled mushrooms with bordelaise and truffle butter this was outstanding! We started the meal the Blackberry jalapeño BBQ meatballs appetizer which was very good as well. On this visit, though, the experience felt a little off. We ordered 2 gift boxes of macarons and 2 brownies. The macarons were packaged nicely in their gift boxes for an extra $2 per a gift box, but we weren’t offered a bag to carry them in. The brownies, on the other hand, weren’t packaged at all. We had the coconut shrimp for our appetizer. There were six of them and they were massive jumbo tiger shrimp with the most flavorful breading and sauce. I should have made them my meal with a salad. And then they gave us a Death By Chocolate cake to share. It was also ginormous and we had to take it home with my leftovers. I must also mention that our waitress, Erica, was excellent. Even though I didn’t eat much (my own fault 😅) the food was amazing and all my guest thought so as well and many were able to back for seconds. Unfortunately, I have an almond allergy and immediately began to have a reaction after taking a few sips. He offered to make me a new drink and gave me 2 coupons for a future purchase. Recently, I went for a work dinner and was astounded by how great the food was. I hadn't eaten there before and I'm glad to say it is one of the best higher end eateries I've been to in Sioux Falls. This has been one of our mainstays for a few years now and I don't see that changing. The food is excellent and somehow continues to get better. The ricotta is a must have each time and has been updated recently with even better toast. Creamy, a bit of honey, and delicious. We always get the bisteca gorgonzola steak with gnocchi and the Chilean seabass. Both are cooked sous vide so they're as tender as can be and very flavorful. The garden salad is also a must have each time as it's fresh, great greens, and excellent dressing options. Other favorites are the pasta al limone and pasta alla papalina with chicken. You can't go wrong with any of the deserts. I haven't even mentioned the wine. It's well curated and for those that don't always know what they want, the featured wines are always great to try. I don't know my old world wines very well but you can always ask for a recommendation to get something that's great. The service has always been great, which is something that's difficult to find in Sioux Falls. You can tell there is server training and they actually seem to care about your experience. They also have live entertainment Thursday through Saturday, which brings in some of Sioux Falls best entertainers.

Upon arrival we were greeted with a small chalice of Prosecco because it was Sunday and why not share some bubbles?! We tried the five course tasting menu…we enjoyed all of the course, especially the duck and salmon. Each course is small but they add up! The sauces accompanying each dish were phenomenal! The presentation was top notch and the staff went above and beyond to chat with us and make us feel not just welcome but AT Home! I would say that the wine pairing was a bit pricey at $85 for 5, 3 ounce glasses. You could easily buy two or three 5 oz wines by the glass instead, so that was lil pricey in retrospect. At the time, each wine and pairing was spot on and truly added to the dish. The dessert was a miss for me… fresh strawberries with balsamic with cake and some sheet of vanilla crème? It didn’t work, I’m a texture eater, plus it tasted kind of fishy… I didn’t dig it. The little cookies which accompanied dessert were wonderful and the caramel upon departure at the door were delightful! To their credit, we met the chef, Bryan as we exited and he offered to make me a new/ different dessert. At the time I thought, no that too much… but maybe I should have?! Definitely 5 star in Sioux Falls!!
