It was well seasoned, and delicious and not just boiled but grilled or cooked on the stove/roasted or etc. The perioges and grilled onions were pretty good. I think my least favorite was the sauerkraut, even though I ended up eating all of it, it was pretty salty and more tangy than I'm used to. I noticed the lady who helped us with our order was very blasé about everything we asked or talked about which was a little funny and odd. She was nice and polite just seemed disinterested. The menu is entirely vegan and has so many exciting things to try. I’ve brought many meat lovers here too, and they all had a wonderful time trying all of the Eastern European dishes! I like to order a bunch of dishes for the table and eat family-style when I visit with friends and family. The atmosphere is great, complete with a lovely outdoor seating area in a garden with heaters for when it’s chilly out. If you plan on dining here though, you have to be prepared to wait outside of the building in a line that forms prior to 5PM when they open! I so wish they were open full-service on week nights, but they are so great that it’s worth waiting for the weekend!

The fact that they saved a church from being torn down by turning into a restaurant was a great idea. There were many items that caught my attention. I ordered prickly pear iced tea with the Jagerschnitzel. I should’ve ordered the vegan spaghetti. I was not completely happy with my choice. The cook was very heavy with the salt on the potatoes, I don’t like a lot of salt. The Jagerschnitzel did not have consistency. The first couple bites was really good tasting with the mushroom sauce. After the first few bites, it tasted like regular gravy on top and was not as good. The waitress was nice.

Menu is somewhat limited, but they have most of the basics (traditional burgers and then the chicken alternatives). Good prices for the most part. I got to try their grilled chicken club. It was very well made. $13, a decent price, and the chicken was definitely pretty high quality. I do with it came with fries or some sort of side, but it was still good. Bacon was amazing: large slabs, and very crispy. Green sauce was flavorful and bun was nicely toasted. All in all, I would recommend this spot. The sides are more a la carte so it might drive the price up quite a bit, but the burgers and sandwiches are some of the best around. Great for takeout too.
