We tried their version of an old fashion (7.4 out of 10), crab dip (7.7 but we were hungry), shrimp tempura roll (4.6….tasted like sushi from Kroger), sea scallops (7.3) and seafood tortellini (8.6). Overall, I’d come back but would probably only order the coconut shrimp (as it arrived at other tables it looked amazing) and the tortellini. We went to a nearby restaurant for dessert.

I was nervous having a gaggle of kids in this (incredible awesome working art studio) space but the teachers were so great and some of the local artists peeked in to see what we were working on. You can feel the community vibes here. Now I want to go back with the adults and do some grown up art! Make sure you prepare to park behind the studio or find a space on the street. It goes without saying since its downtown Ann Arbor but the location enabled some of the parents to grab delicious local food after so it was worth it. Honestly the price is worth it for the whole experience and I definitely recommend!!!

Dined in for breakfast on a Monday morning so it wasn't busy. In fairness, we happened to be there the day Amazon Web Services was down and I understand this caused some chaos behind the scenes since the kitchen staff couldn't rely on their normal systems. However, that doesn't excuse the shortcomings of my experience. I ordered a breakfast sandwich that literally has avocado in the name. The kitchen staff forgot them. I brought it to the server's attention afterwards in hopes that the staff wouldn't mess this up for someone else and wish they simply left it at that. Instead, the server proceeds to come back with a plate of sliced avocadoes after all the plates and silverware were cleared off so not exactly sure what I was supposed to do with them??? Can't say plain avocadoes are the most appetizing either. To me, this speaks to the restaurant's desperate financial state since they also didn't remove the interesting "sustainability" charge that's enforced. I'd say forgetting avocadoes is quite a way to sustain. Additionally, I ordered a side caesar salad that hardly had any dressing in it so I ended up leaving a good amount of it untouched. Maybe it was a bad day for Sava's. Either way, I recommend spending your time and money elsewhere.

Based off of the previous reviews I’d been reading, my expectations for this place were very low. The venue was super awesome, definitely depends on the talent you’re planning on seeing, everyone apart of Laundry Day’s team and even the openers, WHATMORE, were super friendly and more than accommodating. The show was spectacular, they were on time and the crowd was electric. As far as the prices for the drinks, expect to pay out the ass, you might get a slight buzz at best as everything was watered down to shit. On the other hand, all these reviews stating the staff was rude, I couldn’t disagree more, the staff at the bar was extremely nice and very polite, maybe I just got lucky. Overall, if you plan to go to a concert/ venue here, make sure to pre-game like crazy if you care about getting a little crunk before a fun show, you’ll pay dearly. Otherwise, I think it’s small, but that makes it personal in my opinion. We were able to stay after and got to hangout with the openers and the main band, got autographs and pictures, it was a super inviting environment.
