Though the regular menu is rather pricey, the sunday feast is an excellent prepared to order all you can eat of a selection of their regular menu items. For an all you can eat, the quality of the food is second to none in warrington. Whilst the food is excellent, the location does leave a little to be desired, nestled at the end of a row of shops, the building itself is modern and clean throughout, though quite warm, however, the parking arrangements are quite lacking. Though this is not the fault of the resturant, it van still prove troublesome to find parking. Although, despite this, the service is excellent, as the resturant is almost always busy on a Sunday, the staff try their best to ensure that the service is quick and polite. Overall, I see Tao as an excellent choice for a special event or dinner out, especially for the Sunday feast, just be aware that otherwise the price can be a bit expensive. But for the quality of food, I would consider it worth it.

When we were in there the staff were watching us eat which made me a bit awkward. There wasn't really a service but the guy who I'm assuming is the manager kept on reminding us how long we had left to eat our food and how we couldn't get anymore food (which we weren't anyway) as we were done eating, it felt a bit rushed but I know they have a certain time that they do the catering but he could have waited till we were done and it wasn't just us in there either. We ordered a selection from the menu and honestly, everything was perfect. The steamed dumplings were light, perfectly cooked, and practically melted in your mouth. The belly pork was tender, as were the ribs, and the sesame prawn balls were spot on! The staff were lovely, attentive, friendly, and the service overall was great. The toilets were spotless too, which is always a good sign. Prices were very reasonable for the portion sizes and quality of the food. And to top it all off, when the bill came, they gave us two White Rabbit sweets! They’re my absolute favourite and I can never find them locally, so that really made my day. After reading reviews this does not seem to be an uncommon problem. Even with some of the food coming hot it tasted subpar at best. The waiter and waitress were very sweet and a pleasure to have around but the man who appeared to be the manager was extremely rude and nasty about his staff behind their backs. The last time we went, I noticed how rude the manager was to his staff. To the point were a guy waiting for a takeaway approached the manager about the way he spoke to the young girls who were waiting on. This got a little out of hand. As I’ve been recommended to come here by family and friends. However as soon as me and girlfriend walked in we were greeted by the rude manager. On return lad apologised and said he'd sort it, then woman same over and said if I wanted salt pepper or Broccoli I'd needed to pay more. Queried low portion of Broccoli and she just stared at me. Refused and asked for refund as tored of just letting mistakes ride - still not arrived and no response to emails. Sadly won't be returning any time soon. Reviews on Just eat were good. Worst Chinese we've ever had, at a cost of £55. Everything in the sharing platter was really grease heavy, horrible after taste of everything. The rice is like pudding rice, really small grains and a terrible texture, soggy and clumpy. The curry was really thin and was the sweet and sour chicken and both tastes of literally nothing. And the chicken was a horrible slimy texture. The beef and green pepper wasn't bad. The people of Warrington are easily pleased which is why we have no quality takeaways. All substandard, but this one should definitely be avoided.

Full on snail, inside it's lil shell, nestled in my noodles. Didn't discover this until I'd taken a few bites and then I look down and...snail. In my food. Let's name him Bob. When we called they offered to send more noodles; had to talk them into giving us a refund because of course we couldn't eat the rest of the meal. The driver stood in the doorway for a little over a minute just staring after handing over the pre paid food. He may aswell have stood there with his hand out. Also forgot to give us the coke before he left, had to call up to have it sent back out. Also paid an extra £5 for a large sweet and sour sauce and only half the tub was filled £9 + £5 for the large. Absolute rip off for what they are charging/serving. we ordered 4 items also with a 40% discount on just eat and it still came to almost £30 id hate to see what the price would have been without said discount. Food was average fried rice was just white boiled rice with fried egg in it. Avoid if you don’t want to be ripped off. Very misleading with there prices. Genuinely ruined our night. Wasn’t even hungry any more by the time it got here. Not one for posting reviews but if it saves anybody else being disappointed and ripped off that is fine by me.

Really unhappy with my experience at this Chinese takeaway, first of all they got the order completely wrong we asked for half salt and pepper chips with rice, we were given plain chips with rice. We ordered a SMALL TUB of curry sauce to go with the half/half. We got a £7 tub of curry sauce as well as a small tub of curry sauce the total order came to £25!!!! I am in disbelief. We called the takeaway to inform them that the order was wrong and the response we got was appalling. We were told that we were wrong and that we didn’t know what we were talking about. Any takeaway that cared about their customers would offer a refund…or at least the correct food that we ordered. They did absolutely nothing but argue with us on the phone. Will not be ordering from here again. Disgraceful service!!!

However the ribs with honey and chilli sauce were in some kind of batter which was not advertised (team suggest that the menu is updated to advise there is a batter on them) and the Salt & Pepper chicken noodle box disappointed as the batter was thick on the chicken and there was no vegetables in the box at all as you would expect with salt & pepper meals (peppers, onions at minimum).
