We came here for my Dad’s birthday and I was pleasantly surprised how the quality of their food has remained consistent to how it tasted when I was a kid. Even the building interior hasn’t changed (I think an upgrade is needed) The staff were very friendly, our waitress was very cheerful and checked up on us often. We ordered Banquet B and shared a pot of Chinese tea. The food was great with a nice variety of dishes on each course. Everything about our meal was exceptional. We had the Banquet B for two and left absolutely stuffed. The ribs in particular are to die for. The service was excellent – speedy and friendly. The prawn crackers, crispy duck pancakes and noodles were okay but the chicken satay was so bad it made me feel physically sick just looking at the sauce (See photos) It tasted like cold curry sauce and had a nasty jellied texture to it. I struggled to find and taste of peanut in the satay chicken dish. The sweet and sour chicken lacked the flavour in the chicken. My husband was disappointed with his egg fried rice - he said it was bland. The ribs for starter were a very small portion and with not a lot of meat! In my opinion they need to pay attention to food flavouring more and start making their own satay sauce or upgrade (possibly?) the bought in sauce...

It’s my go to place for Chinese food. Tonight we went back again after haven’t been here for a while. We got rice crackers, Peking Square Ribs, Sweet and sour chicken, fried rice, hot&sour soup and beef chowmein. Food tasted lovely as always ! Portion is always huge. Price is cheap compared to what we got. These ribs are massive ! They do take card payment. Staffs are very lovely and friendly. The owner, the Chinese lady always remind me of my grandma. We were very fortunate to get a table. We hadn't booked as it was a last minute decision. As an all you can eat it was very good from sushi to Indian to Chinese and a very good selection of sweets. Tandoori chicken was excellent as was the Thia Beef and the salt and pepper chips. Staff were really nice and sociable. Would definitely recommend if your in the Chester locality. Bonus points for the nearby parking at the shopping centre (just a small fee), which made logistics easy even with a big group. Now, for the one tiny downside: the pina colada. Sadly, it was the only item that didn’t hit the mark — lacking that punch of fresh pineapple you expect. But honestly, with everything else being so good, we barely noticed. Visiting family and suggested collecting Chinese on our way in. Spent nearly £70. Ate starters which were very nice. When we served out main courses we realised the sweet and sour sauce for the king prawns was missing, resulting in dry deep friend king prawns only. Really disappointed with the flavour the look and presentation. Firstly the sweet and sour chicken was just a sauce and really runny, watered down and no veg. The crispy chilli beef was so dry it was like eating pork scratchings not to mention bland and no meat (beef) content. The special curry my partner ordered was again bland the chicken was inedible and undercooked. We ordered soup for starters. It was horrible and had a strange taste. It made me sick and I would never go back. It was disgusting. I’ve eaten some Chinese food in my lifetime and this is the WORST. Yuck. Absolutely revolting. Yucky
