I enjoyed the meal. I really wanted to experience the beauty of this restaurant and reserved it for 4 people but instead of being in a spot where we could see the atmosphere we were in a small booth. It was nice as it was private and elegant but we couldn't see the main attraction and it was so dark in the booth that we couldn't take any good photos even with the flash on. I ordered the desert at the start but had to wait an extra 10mins at the end for it which was quite frustrating as my two friends didn't order a desert. Then the pudding was small with 3 tiny slices of pear. The food portions were quite small for the price and they added extra expenses. Such as £5 for water. We thought it was free as they offered it to us. Also a service charge of £27. In total every cost £244 which is way more than it was worth. The duck rolls were tiny, and I only got 3 for £13. Honestly I won't be going back, I ended up ordering a food delivery later that night because I was still hungry. Restaurant isnt huge but it still fits a decent number of people. Menu has a wide variety of dishes such as a small selection of dim sum, rice or noodle dishes and normal main dishes. The fish and onions was fragrant and juicy. Beef brisket in curry sauce: the beef brisket was tender and juicy. Portion size was also on the smaller side but not too bad. However, food are wonderful, even better than Michelin recommended restaurants in Hong Kong. Size of roast duck/pork/BBQ pork with rice is well enough for 2 persons. Price of water spinach fried with fresh squids seems expensive but it's portion is very big enough to serve 4 persons, very high cp value. You can comfortably sit down on a bench and wait for the table. Very efficient service. Waiters are nice and polite. A highly recommended restaurant. For mains my Wife opted for the Tandori Grill Lamb chops which she ordered with a side order of Triple cooked fries, I ordered the drunken noodles which came with Katsu Chicken dumplings, My Wife really enjoyed her Lamb chops and all the different spices went really well with the Lamb and my Drunken noodles 🍜 were absolutely amazing all the different textures and spices were amazing and tasted out of this world, The noodles were fresh and the bean sprouts, corn, peppers, chillies, Green beans etc were amazing the spices really complimented the noodles and Chicken dumplings etc. The service from Satu(Our waiter) was exceptional, best service of anywhere in the World where we have eaten hands down. The food is amazing and full of flavour, some of the best smash burgers we've had, and the pulled beef fries are to die for. The only reason the food got knocked down slightly is due to the chicken burger and the chicken tray, we found they were on the tougher side due to being fried for too long. It used to be one of my favourites however have recently gone very down hill. Other than the door staff, newer staff made me feel very uncomfortable with stares and conversations I’ve overheard from behind the bar about customers. The audacity of them to even make them is beyond me as they’re disgusting. Especially since the older staff who I have regularly been served by have always been amazing and the club has always felt like a safe space. Last time I went, there was a weird smell just lingering (not sure where it came from) which made me feel nauseous and there was no toilet roll in the women’s bathroom which is a basic necessity. As a young female I no longer feel safe in there due to the new staff and comments and would recommend people to be careful when going!!
