It’s mostly the big chains that remain open; the Mom and Pop joints turn off the lights and don’t return until Tuesday. But I was elated to find My Thai open one recent Sunday evening. I had narrowed my search to “Thai food near me,” and this was the only Asian-ish place open among the search results. It had been many years since I had been, primarily because I don’t find myself in that part of town often, but I was hungry. I was quickly impressed by how much takeaway business they do, which may very well be part of the Sunday factor. They had a 6-foot table set up with bagged orders waiting for customers to arrive. That said, there were still easily a dozen tables occupied for in-house dining. The menu is actually rather short and compact for a Thai place, where I routine expect six to eight pages of curries, Pad this-and-that, and so forth. I quickly spied Pad See Ew (which they spell phonetically, Pad Ci-U, and ordered it with tofu. From order time to plate on my table, only 10 minutes elapsed, not bad for a place that was easily serving more meals to go than for dine-in. If I had to make a suggestion, it would be to include tofu as a protein option for many of the other items they list. Asian food is for the most part very scalable; it’s easy to sub one thing for another, and tofu for chicken in a yellow curry is no big stretch. Perhaps they would do this upon request (which I don’t know), but it would be nice for non-carnivorous patrons to know they have more choices than what appear. Very reasonably priced. We ordered 2 spicy miso ramen (mine extra spicy) and a pad see ew. Once I recieved my food I was in my own world. The pork was tender and flavorful,my shrimp were slightly overcooked, the egg cooked perfectly,lots of noodles, the broth was bursting with miso flavor and I was in heaven, all I needed was extra napkins for my nose and I was good to go. Keep in mind there are two cooks so wait time was long. I sat at the bar watching them create culinary perfection in a bowl so I was pretty entertained. Food is made to order so expect call in orders to be made by the same hard working cooks as well. If you come super hungry perhaps an appetizer would help. Service was decent. She forgot about us a few times but was quick to correct herself without being asked again and that is always ok with us.

I was looking for a new "spot" for Chinese cuisine and found this one. So when I come to find out my order was wrong (they gave me fried rice instead of steamed, and sesame chicken instead of orange) and i called to have them fix it, the lady on the other side of the phone was extremely rude. only able to offer me driving 30 min to come back for a little pat of steamed rice, as she wasnt convinced that my orange chicken order was incorrect. (It was wrong.) ive been in the food industry for a long time and i made sure to let her know before she got snippy with me that mistakes happen, and thats okay, i understand ETC. its when she started raising her voice at me and arguing about what I said when I placed the order that i just said "maam, its fine. don't even worry about it if yall dont wanna fix it" I wanna note, I was not very polite to the end of this call, because of the lack of decorum on her part, and raising her voice at me FIRST. ridiculous. You deserve it at that point yanno. I was literally just trying to get this fixed. I didn't care if it was a refund, or gift card, or what. But one scoop of rice??? Not worth my 40$ meal being incorrect. Like I said I only get to eat out very once in a while and it's def a treat to try new places. I would have not made the mistake of putting the order in wrong in the first place. I know what it's like to have a customer irritated with you after a long day and I try my best to avoid having to even ask for help when it comes to my special-once-in-a-while treats like this. By the way, the value meal is small. The food is just okay. Two value meals and an order of Rangoons will run you about 40$. The chicken itself is just little soft puts of fried whatever, not much meat there at all. I also wanna note the guy I was speaking to before he was interrupted by the lady that was rude to me was kind.

The Cream Cheese Won Tons are so amazing almost like a dessert. If I could I would sprinkle powered sugar and maybe some chocolate and raspberry drizzle. Ether way they are amazing as they are. The only thing that I would change is the timing of the plate delivery. If the kitchen would space the time out in between appetizer and main dishes so that customers could have more time to enjoy the appetizer. Keep up the good work Thai Thai. I requested extra onions (which I did not even get) and limes for our pho and they charged us an extra $6 per bowl for this as "extra proteins" did not bother to tell us that even though the bowl was missing the normal proteins, that they consider onions and limes protein 😂😂 laughable. When I told the server that she should tell customers that they upcharge for that, she told me its stated on the menu. Pretty sure the menu did not state that you all consider onions and limes to be protein. Absolutely ridiculous to pay $18 for these bowls of disappointment. Prices on google did not reflect accurately at all either, will not be back.

Literally there were 3 small pieces of meat and 1 meatball and 95% noodle. I knew right away by looking at the broth that it was not going to have any flavor. Which it didnt it was super bland, when asked for fish sauce they gave me something else that wasnt fish sauce. The pho seasoning on the tables were nasty and sticky I did not want to touch it. There were Sirrarcha, hoisin and what I thought was garlic chili but it wasnt it was something with vinegar which ruined the whole pho for me. They need to leave original fish sauce bottles out on the table for their bland broth. The server never cleared any finished dishes off so we had to stack it to have room to eat. I had to ask for water to be refilled. We do not recommend this place and will not be returning.

I always heard good reviews of Chiyo's so we decided to try it. We wanted to go in and eat but when we got there, we saw a sign saying drive thru only.
