Dined for mother's day earlier in the year. I booked only a few days prior and by that point they only had one table left for my preferred time but it was a table seated outside. The weather report said it was expected to rain and if so, they wouldn't be able to accommodate. Despite this I decided to take a risk and keep the booking. On the day, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they managed to reserve an inside table for me, and it did end up raining while i was dining so was super appreciative that i didn't have to worry about that. 服务态度很好。菜量偏少，价格偏高。味道…金钱肚总有一股烂抹布味。

We ordered satay sticks, calamari, pork bao buns, and crispy beef. Everything was deep-fried — even the satay sticks. We arrived at peak dinner time on a Saturday night and the place was three quarters empty. The staff were rude and miserable. We were treated like we were an inconvenience to their job. The restaurant is extremely outdated along with half the patrons who looked like they have been eating there since the furniture was new. A few box window air conditioners seem to struggle to make the place feel air conditioned at all. We had the buffet which seemed like an ok deal. The food was bland and tasteless, the kind of rubbish you would get in a food court in a shopping centre. You are given a plate and that plate is to be reused to go back to the buffet till you’re finished. I had 1 plate and that was enough for me, I was still hungry but the food was that bad. They let us sit in a bigger table although there was only two of us, served water and take a second order without being asked and even called me back when they missed my call to book a table. Our main meals were superb. Very fresh and the meat was extremely tender. The 3 of us shared a Special Fried Rice, Chicken Cashew Nut dish, Sweet and Sour Pork and Beef in Ginger and Shallots. It's BYO wine, which helps with the total bill, but you can also purchase a range of drinks there. They also offer take away if you prefer. Curry puffs were barely warm inside. Both items were blond in colour. Mains were sweet and sour pork and rainbow beef, our usual go to when eating Chinese. Unsure how, but both dishes had an orangy coloured sauce which tasted virtually the same. Vegetable fried rice, not sure what was fried, certainly wasn't the rice which was gluggy and poor. Best thing, the two young boys who served us with a smile and took our order and delivered. Times are tough these days going out is a treat. We just wasted $68.
