This was excellently complimented by the fantastic wine pairings. Even as a local to area I was able to discover some new Hungarian wines that were simply sublime. A hidden gem. My partner who had tried goulash at 2 other restaurants said their Goulash at Pierrot was a cut above the rest. We decided to go here on our last night as we knew it was a pricier restaurant than some of the others we visited. However it was worth it - however you get what you pay for three fold. There is a three course set menu offered also. Pierrot was the only restaurant where I had a desert and their creme brûlée was divine. Situated by Buda castle it’s easy to get to by bus. The restaurant walls have pictures of stars who have eaten there and we had fun trying to guess their names. The resident pianist set the mood also. Loved their sugar free raspberry lemonade also (note it’s raspberry and rosemary but I asked for fresh mint instead). Service and attention to detail was excellent and the toilets were clean.
