Our Bungalow was very clean and spacious. They have 2 big swimming pools, several Sunbeds including the umbrellas and pool towels . The breakfast was great.
Unfortunately we could not swim in the sea because of jellyfish but I cannot blame the hotel. Thank you for the mosquito coil at the terrace .

Absolutely lovely place to stay. The rooms are a little dated, but super clean and everything works, we even got a balcony with a sea view. Breakfast was great, sinner was really nice...a little bit of heaven just over the road from the beach, I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful retreat! Lots of good food around as well.

It was the perfect getaway from Hua Hin! Our first time discovering Sam Roi Yot region which has plenty to offer. However we actually spent most of our time in Dolphin Bay Resort! It had so many activities for families: ping pong tables, badminton, board games, the big outdoor playground, the swimming pools with slide, bikes to rent, beach...
The staff was always kind and helpful.
We stayed 3 days and the restaurants menu had enough variety for us to eat and enjoy all our meals there (we especially appreciated the breakfast buffet!).
Big plus: the connected rooms! Kids had their own space while still being together with us. That was game changing :)
We will come back for sure!

I only had the Spicy Beef Salad and Tom Yum Soup, and the salad was extraordinary. Nice medium done beef, charred beautifully, with fresh chilis, mint, lime juice and other herbs that made it outstanding and well worth another return visit.
The Tom Yum soup was very good as well, not the best, but this was good enough to get a commendation.
I also tried the coconut ice cream and I wasn't disappointed. It came in a frozen coconut and was nicely presented.
The view and vibe is of a small town seaside resort with ocean breezes and views.
I'm glad I tried it out.
Update: I came back again twice. Each time I have a Spicy Beef Salad. It's just that good. For dessert I had their Mulberry Tiramisu.

We had a fantastic meal here with a beautiful view of the beach from across a not-so-busy road. It was a late lunch, so we were the only customers and the passing car traffic was nearly non-existent.

Coming from Bangkok I was not expecting to find an authentic Indian restaurant in Sam Roi Yot that was on par if not better than Indian restaurants in Bangkok, at a much cheaper price.
Namaste value is amazing, the food is cooked by an Indian chef, and its beachfront tables and hammocks are a great way to spend a day on the beach.
If you want your food spicy just let them know, our guests could not eat much spice and they were happy to lower their levels of space to cater for our group.
A must try on any trip to Sam Roi Yot for it's taste, views and value.

Although a little over seasoned and under spiced (heat not taste), it was the closest I have come to an authentic Indian meal, as I have experienced in the UK, whilst here in Thailand. Everything was freshly cooked but the wait was worthwhile. The proprietor could not have been more helpful or accommodating. His wife is reputedly the better chef but did not arrive until much later, so maybe next time I shall put that to the test. Reasonably priced for such authentic foreign cuisine. Great italian eatery, quite a rare find within these quieter areas of Pranburi. Restaurant is cleanly decorated with a touch of modern minimalism to it, although with an air of fine dining.
Spaghetti carbonara was delicious, one of those still prepared with an egg like how it should be done. Linguine vongole was flavourful, with plenty of clams. The Quattro Formaggi pizza was savoury and had great crust, served as a "white pizza" sauce as how we liked it. Burrata was fresh and creamy. Portions were very decent and generous, we had to give the desserts a try but resorted to ordering them on takeout.
Service was stellar. Run by the very own Giovanni and his wife, we were welcomed and waited very warmly with a great touch of personality, Giovanni himself also entertained our little kids with takeaway treats to brighten up their evening.
Definitely recommended.

The worst pasta I have ever had in my life!
When I came, there were no other customers, yet I had to wait for almost 30 mins for my pasta. While waiting I overheard the Thai chefs talking in the kitchen and I was already skeptical that the food would be good.
The only flavour I could taste was sour... I never had sour vongole pasta EVER. Then I asked the staff if the chef forgot to season it because I could only taste the sourness from the wine. She replied, "oh we prepared the sauce in advance - in case some customers like it differently" - meaning she was saying that she let me wait for 30 mins for something that was prepared ahead?
Maybe the food is better when the original chef is there, or maybe I just picked the wrong dish, but I won't even bother coming back 👎🏼
