Ordered a platter which came with focaccia bread, I didn’t know you could get gluten free versions of this so we queried it to be told it was all gluten free. Ordered some other tapas bits too also told gluten free, wasn’t until the mains came out I realised the started was not gluten free, the server assuming the manager denied the fact we’d double checked for gluten free and hid from me for the duration of our visit. Tandoori meats were dry and extremely chewy with an awful texture. We left very disappointed and decided to never go back. Sure first time around it was a good overall experience, unfortunately consistency just isn't there and that is a huge part of repeating business, making sure that everything is always prepared to the restaurant's best ability. The restaurant seems to be always very busy so I'm guessing maybe we were just unlucky, however with quite high prices and eating out being a luxury l feel like consistency in food quality should be key and also a reason why we decided to avoid it from now on. First time ordering here. Chips was undercooked and greasy. Ordered onion salad, instead I received tomato, cucumber, lettuce and lemon, I presumed onion salad was onion, cucumber and coriander?. Lamb was to chewy and way to spicy for a Jalfrezi with to many onions and undercooked tomatoes. Will not be ordering here again, worst Indian takeaway I’ve ever had.

The bun was so cold and damp it was like it had just been defrosted. And the burger tasted awful but was chucked into the bin, before I got to take it back and complain. It was that cold the cheese wasnt melting. I think we spent roughly £60 on food. Took ages and was really not worth it. Not to let that put a dampner on our day we went back to the maze. After, we went to get our pumpkins which were already paid for. We gave over our receipts to the person working at the pumpkin tent, then we went in. Chose our pumpkins and upon walking out, we were asked for our receipts, I said I dont have them the girl took them off me, then I thought for a minute I was going to get charged again for them as she didnt look sure about letting us out the tent! The kids enjoyed themselves but no way should it have costed nearly £200, that was partly down to the food. If we went again, would definitely be taking our own!

We did not eat the starter that was delivered as wanted to wait for others starters. We did get the drinks free but for a birthday prebooked meal out...what a disaster. We spent less time at gurkha spice who accommodated us late, ordering, served, eating and enjoying. Not only is the food in large portions (like in America) but it is as close to American food as I have found. Came for dinner and was not disappointed, had the hot dog with chilli and pulled pork and it was spectacular. They also have A&W root beer which is a huge plus for me as it's my favorite back home. The place looks recently renovated—very clean, bright, and welcoming. The starters were a hit with all of us. The prawns were excellent, and the sauce that came with them was full of flavor. Despite only being a takeaway order, the customer service was outstanding, was greated upon entry by a man, who took our first order, and for our second order (which was very confusing and difficult to make as it was via a business card) the female staff member assisted, and was absolutely wonderful and understanding. For main courses I have tried the pulled pork burger and the chicken fajitas which. We’re both really good, but my favourite so far has to be the fillet steak served on the black rock, really tasty and a generous sized portion for the price. My partner loves a good burger and says the ones here and some of the best he’s eaten. Would definitely recommend this place - you won’t leave hungry. The staff are also really friendly and helpful.
