Highland Tap & Burger is a popular spot known for its modern bar food, including gourmet burgers and local microbrews on tap. The spacious venue features wall-to-wall flat-screen TVs and a lively patio for warm days. The menu offers elevated pub grub, such as whiskey barrel chip-smoked chicken wings and three-cheese mac & cheese. Additionally, the eatery accommodates dietary restrictions with gluten-free bun options and clearly marked items that can be made gluten-free.
We had a great lunch experience, quick service and knowledgeable waitress. Good selection of tap beers. You can turn any salad into a wrap, which was a great option- definitely recommend!

Service was awesome, the food was delicious, and the servers were all very nice. Our server went above and beyond to meet our needs. Dani deserves a raise!!! The fish and chips were amazing. My wife had a single smash, which she loved, and pleasing the wife is not easy, lol don't wanna forget how clean the whole place was!!!

The bartender on shift today can throw down some drinks! Happy hour 2-6 $2 beers. This establishment has a sports bar feel plenty of TVs on to catch your favorite event. I order the lunch special smashburger and the cauliflower wings my wife ordered the chicken bacon wrap. Food was amazing I highly recommend the cauliflower wings! My wife says she can eat here everyday It was that good! The bartender, Sean, was awesome easy to communicate with even while he was as busy as he was. Watch out for the service charge, had never seen that before. It was explained to me this is a tip that is shared with everyone, cook, waitress, etc..

The dry rub wings are SO GOOD. Also get the waygu burger. My new favorite burger spot in Denver. We sat outside and had a great server, we loved coming here.
Nina S — Google review
The food is very good here, we did however sit down because it said seat yourself. We were immediately asked to get up and sit at a different table.......the wait was unusually long after that for initial contact with a server. The food is excellent, nice wood decor. They even add the tip for you! I left an additional tip.
M B — Google review
Great service, the food is cravable!! We got the cauliflower wings, a smash burger and the chicken bacon wrap! (Only took a photo of the wrap! The service was great, we will be back!
Jessica A — Google review
The Mac and cheese I ordered looks nothing like what they advertise. Also barely any taste. So disappointing and DoorDash won't give a refund.
Kimberly — Google review
If you're up for a sports bar then this is you place. With that, it's a bit noisy so I've only done take out from this place. The burgers, wraps and salads are great. Service has been good from both an online order and ordering to go from in the restaurant.

Breakfast restaurant
American restaurant
Diner
Sam's No. 3 is a charming diner in downtown Denver that has been serving comfort food since 1927. The menu offers a wide range of options, from classic breakfast items like French toast and pancakes to hearty American dishes such as hamburgers and chicken strips. The diner has an old-school charm and a family-friendly atmosphere, making it popular among both kids and adults.
I love this place! I visited last time I was in Denver and I knew I wanted to come back again. Location is perfect for those visiting for work. The wait is typically not too long despite having a lot of visitors. It's a BIG restaurant so the line moves quickly. All the staff that helped us from check in, seating, to our service were kind, welcoming and wonderful. This time I ordered the Country Fried Steak Skillet and with a little Cholula, it was perfect. I went with two of my colleagues this visit and they were both super happy with their orders as well. I had the regular hot coffee with breakfast and it was good too. The menu is huge, which I am not typically a fan of, but it's good if you're with a group. Also, the actual building itself is pretty cute. There's great natural light in the mornings, a covered outdoor seating area, and cute little hibachi looking diner seating. 5/5 and I already can't wait to go back.
Katelynn K — Google review
Really busy place But they'll get you seated quickly. The decor is pretty awesome lots of history about the restaurant and they love my Broncos! I ordered the breakfast number two My wife ordered the Denver omelet plus protein. Breakfast came out to us very quickly served hot and was really good. Seen lots of people ordering the breakfast burrito and man that's a mountain of food! Service was top-notch Kevin knows how to make a drink. Menu is huge and serve a wide variety of food, something for everyone. This restaurant is located in the heart of Denver.

While visiting Denver I was craving cornbeef hash with eggs and found this cool diner who served that. I came on sat noon and the place was crowded. I sat right away on the bar and the bartender was great and helped me right away. The food was good and service was excellent. The place is huge and I loved the style. Overall I had a great experience and I would recommend this place. If you in downtown Denver and looking for good breakfast I would definitely visit this place. Hope that helped...

So many amazing food options to choose from! The Chile rellenos were small but really good. I was happy to be given the option for vegetarian green chile. The Athena Omelette was pretty good too. We enjoyed the sweet cream pancakes too! Service was good. Restaurant was clean. Bathroom was clean.
Athena M — Google review
Mixed American and Mexican food restaurants, just located near 16th street shopping centre. The portions of food are huge and totally fulfilling! Warm service, casual place, recommended for friends and family to share the meals. I love that Avocado and tomato Benedict, so delicious!
Shelley L — Google review
Let’s start with, the food here was absolutely amazing! Unfortunately, it was fairly loud, making it hard to talk even just one person over. And because they were so busy, we visited on a Saturday around brunch, we didn’t feel like we had prompt service. We were seated relatively quickly, and the food was out incredibly fast. But we waited for 15+ mins to get the check and boxes. We will likely return, but plan to get to go instead 😋
Alex C — Google review
Popular, noisy, authentic diner. The portions are large, the selection is large and varies from everything for breakfast to burgers and sandwiches, to Mexican options. I had the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and spinach and it was very good. My family also enjoyed a Reuben, a burger, and the chicken enchiladas and we all cleaned our plates.
Gabe Z — Google review
The best spot in downtown for a very filling breakfast. Portions are HUGE. Food quality was not 5 stars but was good, especially the green chile and border burrito. I actually ate here three times in a week as it was convenient to the convention center., 2x breakfast and a lunch. French dip was really good with horseradish and au jus. Tater tots were great as well. Coffee packed any flavor but otherwise great spot to eat.

Ice cream shop
5280 Burger Bar is a casual and contemporary spot in Westminster that offers creatively topped burgers, housemade ice creams, and craft beer. The menu features a variety of options including hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, and quesadillas. In addition to the a la carte classics, they also offer family meals with daily rotating choices like fried chicken and apricot-glazed pork loin.
I only tried one burger in Denver, it was the Baja Colorado burger and it might have been my favorite burger I've ever had. The chicken sandwich was also phenomenal, fries were the perfect blend of crispy on the outside but soft on the inside, and the nachos were classic and tasty. Staff was super super friendly (our waitress was Megan). The only thing I didn't absolutely love was the egg rolls. Would come back here so fast. Highly recommend!!
Joseph P — Google review
Great atmosphere. Good, but not great, food and service. For a place that features burgers I expect something far above average. But honestly, I would rather have enjoyed a good Double Double from In-N-Out. The rings were okay, but could have used some salt. The fries were the best part of the meal. They were delicious! There is an ice cream counter that I believe is part of the business. The ice cream was excellent, serving a premium product with outstanding taste and mouth feel. Maybe the place should be named 5280 Ice Cream Counter. It truly was a better product. But don't get me wrong, the food isn't terrible. Just not as good as expected.
Greg S — Google review
Can’t speak for the other sandwiches, but the chicken sandwich was a huge letdown. I had the Sheko Chicken Sandwich, and it was incredibly bland. For something labeled as a gourmet sandwich, I expected a well-made, hearty patty with quality toppings — but it completely missed the mark. Paying $18 (tax included, no sides) for a sandwich this underwhelming feels outrageous. I also got fries on the side — they were okay, but nothing special. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a good chicken sandwich.
Sai M — Google review
We enjoyed delicious burgers, creative cocktails, and friendly service. Our group stopped in after an event at the convention center and had a great time dining on the patio. A special shout-out to our server, Pedro, who was outstanding and made our experience even better. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area.
Rob C — Google review
We stopped by here for a couple appetizers before our concert and the nachos were amazing 🤤 Plenty enough toppings for every chip! Very loaded and very flavorful. Also had an old fashion- stiff and delicious. Would of loved to come back and try a burger before we left but we’ll be back again soon
Destiney M — Google review
Came here for lunch and it was great. I had the guac burger and shared the loaded tots. Both were great. The tots were more like filled tater tots. I didn’t get that impression from the menu description and was confused when the server said they can’t serve tater tots plain as a side. There were a lot of TVs throughout. The prices were also very reasonable.
Shane F — Google review
One of my absolute favorites! Whenever I come to Colorado to hike, this is my go to for refueling after. The burgers and fries are always fresh. If you have not been here, I would highly recommend! Never disappointed. And the service is always great.
Kari W — Google review
I know take out is a harsh way to judge a place, so take this review with a grain of salt… but it just wasn’t good. You can tell by the photos how awful the fries were. The burger was fine. I was expecting more avocado based on other reviews and photos. Can’t say I’d be excited to try this place again.

Located in Denver's Lower Highland (LoHi) neighborhood, Avanti Food & Beverage is a unique food hall housed in a former printing plant. It features a variety of self-contained shipping containers, each serving as a mini restaurant offering diverse cuisines such as pizza, sushi, Venezuelan arepas, and more. Guests can dine in the communal first-floor area or on the captivating rooftop deck with modern lounge furniture and stunning views of downtown Denver.
Cool concept with many vendors and restaurants like a more chill food market! They have plenty of seating whether it is downstairs, on the patio, or on the rooftop. Such a great place to hangout and have some good eats and drinks with some friends in the Highlands!

The BEST skyline view of downtown Denver! AMAZING atmosphere! It's a nice social spot. Food and drinks were average. Servers and bring you drink. You order food on your phone and go to the window to get it yourself! Would definitely recommend for a the atmosphere!
Neesha — Google review
Went on a busy, rainy Saturday evening. No tables were available downstairs but we found a small one upstairs that we made work. We preferred the vibe upstairs anyway. Ordered food from a few places. Burger was terrific. Pommes frites were delicious but the aoli was terrible. Pizzas were ok - the sauce wasn’t very good, and one of our three pizzas had barely any cheese. The crust was good though. Service at every counter was extremely friendly. Server taking drink orders at the tables was really friendly also - and she came around to check on us consistently. Would love to return on a day when we could sit outside.
RES R — Google review
Saw this place Sunday morning around 10:20am on a Instagram post. Hit up my friends immediately and was there 11:35am! The hostess was welcoming and informative. The server was awesome, amazing, helpful, explained even more how things worked in the area we decided to sit in. The view upstairs was nice. Food from Ama was delicious, drinks evenly made not too much alcohol, not much mixer. I loved it here and will be back with more people! 😁
Raushauna D — Google review
This place really hit the spot! I went with a large group of friends as we were visiting from out of town and looking for fun places in the area. We saw they occasionally do a comedy brunch and it was the perfect way to kick off our weekend. The turnout for the show was fair but they definitely had capacity for much more. We gave the feedback that the "private event" sign threw us a little and may have deterred some potentially interested customers. We enjoyed the show though! LOVED THE FOOD. I had the Chorizo & Egg Quesadilla from Ama Modern Mexican and I feel like I made the perfect choice. I savored every bite and it seemed that my whole crew enjoyed their food. They have multiple restaurants in house so you have a good amount of different cuisine options.
Aaron S — Google review
The entire space is designed for flow. Even during peak hours, the movement from the bar to the dining areas feels deliberate. The rooftop patio is the main draw, of course. The view of the Denver skyline from up there is, without question, the best alignment of architecture and light the city has to offer. A glass of crisp white wine while watching the sunset here is the ideal treatment for mental decompression.
Mei C — Google review
Avanti is a fun and vibrant place to hangout and eat/drink. I liked the liquor selection a lot that they had on hand. Food and drinks were a 5 star experience. However, I did downgrade the review to two stars. Why? Well, there are security guards glaring at you while you eat/drink. Can someone explain the security guards staring you down while you eat and drink on the patio? I can only guess it’s their No Vaping/Smoking rule which would force a security guard to probably stare up at the patio to be on the look out. They’re standing just to the left of my picture just out of site on the stairs. We don’t smoke or vape.

Really cool spot with great views of the city! Went on a Sunday around dinner time and it wasn’t too busy. I got a burger and it was amazing and a very generous size! The drinks were great too

Bar
The Cherry Cricket is a renowned Denver establishment known for its customizable craft burgers and wide selection of Colorado draft beers. Originally opened in 1945, the restaurant has gained national recognition and was featured on popular food shows. After a recent reconstruction following a fire, it reopened to continue serving its signature beef, turkey, chicken, and bison burgers with an array of creative toppings.
Yummy burgers are their specialty, and special they are! Very tasty, well prepared, with dozens of choices for toppings and sides. Great service with a smile and friendly banter. Clean and organized with a retro feel to the place - probably since it’s been around for a dogs age (in an old, friendly, cuddly dog sense, not a smelly, mangy, halitosis dog kinda way). Massive drinks with likely unneeded free refills. Lots of TVs to catch up on the games, get you off your phone, or help you not talk to someone you’d rather not be having a meal with - sorry if this is the case. Hit this place up for a great, unique, relaxed meal!
Erik A — Google review
My first visit to the Cherry Cricket was overall very pleasant. The crowd wasn’t overwhelming, and since I went solo, my food arrived pretty quickly. It was a great casual dining experience with a welcoming vibe. My only gripe—and the reason I’m not giving five stars—is the pricing. The food is on the expensive side. Keep in mind that this place is semi à la carte: you’re paying $14–$17 just for the burger, and fries, and other sides, are sold separately. For that price, I can find other spots where an entire meal—including dessert—costs the same or even less. And I paid $40 for a burger, fries, and a slice of cake. That said, I understand that the Cherry Cricket is a long-standing Denver staple with a loyal following, and I respect that. Will I be back? Yes, but only occasionally. While I enjoyed the visit, the higher prices make it more of a once-in-a-while treat than a regular go-to for me, especially with less costly alternatives.
Rob S — Google review
While parking can be an issue, seating is not at this burger joint of all burger joints! Starting with the reason I came in, burger of the month was queso birria and it did not disappoint! I didn’t even read the description I was so excited. Comes out and I have a burger topped with a mount of shredded stewed meat, chips on the side for all the extra that falls off, and a side of the juice to dip it in! As soon as I bite it I feel a toasty church! They have also put a fried tortilla on the burger to add to the fullest effect! It was a nice texture addition for sure! The app was bacon queso dip with huge soft warm chew and savory pretzel sticks fresh from the oven! Totes were enough for 2-3 people if you get the sharable size. Tons of beer options but we were so full we only had one. Lots of room as I said. Outdoor and bar options for seating too. TVs all around for game days and kid friendly for the most part. I will be back.
Marcus G — Google review
Great burgers!! I was so happy because they even had veggie burger options. Our server was so sweet and welcoming and she helped us to pick our food. The place was really authentic and felt very “american” (we are from Spain and were looking for that kind of vibe). Highly recommend!
Paula H — Google review
Stopped in for dinner and heard they had great burgers. The Uber drivers did not lie. I got the Bison burger and my wife the cricket Royale. They were cooked perfectly with great flavor! We could have actually split the burger and a side, but ended up leaving most of the sides. I got steak fries and she got the onion rings. If I had a do over i would have just got the onion rings. It is a la cart so plan accordingly if you are monitoring prices. They also had a healthy offering of craft beers and mixed drinks. I would Highly recommend.
Ray P — Google review
My family wanted to try the American experience by eating at a good burger place and let me say we were not disappointed at all ! Those burgers were awesome, huge and delicious. The quality is there and the service is perfect. I would totally recommend if you are looking for the best burger of your Life.

Visiting Colorado from Chicago and needed a place to get some food. In come The Cherry Cricket with their burgers. Just from looking at all the other photos I knew I had to come in and get a taste. I was not let down! The burger I got was DELICIOUS. A monstrosity of a burger 🍔 however so good. Have you ever seen a burger with Au Jus? Me neither. Go get it. Paired with good ol onion rings. Will come back!
Jacob L — Google review
We called ahead of time asking if the hamburger bun could be substituted for two slices of onion. They said YES. Flyimg Dutchman, right? We shared this with Kyle and even showed him a picture! Got our order wrong. He said he even showed the chef the picture. We wanted two onion slices instead of a bun. We were given two half patties each with sautéed onions on top. No way to pick it up! I said so either they can't do it or don't want to. He loudly said don't insult MY STAFF. So if he's the owner, his wait skills need improvement. Sad attempt to intimidate two woman out for lunch. We were brought fries and no onion rings as ordered. We asked for the mixed basket. He said he would bring a full order of onion rings to make up for it. No. He brought the mixed basket. So esentually, a million fries snd not many onion rings in the end. Ok thanks. Not all though. Meat too done. No mushrooms like we ordered. He said we didn't order them. Yes, yes we did. Could not admit he messed up. We tried to speak to him at keast 5 times. We got the brush off. Wouldn't make it right. The issue was "resolved" by him putting a check on the table with a 20% discount and walking off. RUDE and grumpy. I'm so disappointed. I brought my colleague. I've been bragging about Cherrry Cricket for weeks that they're the best in town. I have never had a bad experience here in decades. I was so embarrassed. To rub salt in the wound, snidely, Kyle said he hopes "we are able to enjoy the rest of our day." Kyle. Bless your heart. You were not kind, communicative, or helpful on a basic human level. If this was just a bad day, wowza. Only weak men have to get loud.

Linger, located in the LoHi neighborhood, is a vibrant restaurant and rooftop lounge housed in a former mortuary. The rooftop offers stunning city views and a 1975 GMC RV serving signature cocktails. The menu features global small plates such as steamed bao buns and roasted mushroom tostadas. The space retains some of its original morbid touches, like water served from formaldehyde and the repurposed mortuary sign.
Tried Linger for the first time during happy hour on a Wednesday and will definitely be back! We ordered a lot of small plates that were part of the happy hour. The only dish that we ordered that wasn't part of the happy hour was the Bombay nachos. However, I highly recommend ordering it. It was a 10/10. My other favorite was the spring rolls with the two dipping sauces. One sauce had a little spiciness to it that was a perfect balance to the other sauce. All food was tasty and I loved the sauces each one had. The warm donuts we had for dessert were amazing as well. Drinks are a bit pricey, but if you go for happy hour, definitely try the margarita. The staff was great. Everyone was friendly. The gentleman who took us to our table was very helpful with my parking situation. As we were getting seated, I was still trying to figure out how to pay for street parking through this app that i had to download to pay for parking, but i needed the parking meter #. It gave me suggestions based on my location, but I wasn't sure which one to select. When I asked him about it, he wasn't sure either, and without hesitation, he just walked outside across the street and got the # for me. I am grateful for him going above and beyond in this situation.

Lingers great they have always been a top tier restaurant and I’ve been here several times over the years. Today i came with a good friend to was visiting town and wanted to catch up over happy hour. They have very specific rules about their happy hour especially in the roof top. You have to sit in the blue table section and you must walk up to order your food and drinks to the bus bar. We had two margaritas my friend got the classic and i got the seasonal one which had a salted foam along with pepper i asked for a tajin rim it was delicious i had two during my visit. We also ordered the hot honey sweet potato fries and the smashed wagyu sliders. The fries were fantastic i asked for a side of ranch to dip them in and i was extremely happy with them. The sliders were good nothing out of this world but they were tasty. Linger use to have one of the best views of the downtown Denver skyline until the new apartment buildings took that away from them. It’s still decent but definitely not as good. Over all i was happy coming here and I’d gladly come again. Just an fyi this place is in the pricier side but worth it here and there mainly for the atmosphere and littleman icecream next door afterwords!

Becca was amazing! We went around 11:30 for lunch and had a great experience. Sat near the open windows, had the sweet potatoes to start. Chicken Caesar and Hamachi as entrees. Drinks were also wonderful. Will be back when in town.

We recently visited Linger for lunch and were very pleased with the experience. We arrived on time for our reservation and were immediately greeted by a gracious host. The venue lots of history- it was a mortuary for over 90 years and is said to have held the remains of Buffalo Bill. . There was a great selection of drinks available, including a variety of wines and beers. Our table ordered the Pad Thai and the lobster roll with honey and chili fries. Both entrees were excellent, though the honey and chili fries were a bit too sweet for my personal taste. Our server, Benji, was extremely professional and offered attentive service throughout our meal. We would highly recommend this restaurant for a delightful dining experience.

We went for brunch. The atmosphere is classy like a whiskey bar. The bathrooms are funky! Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Food was delicious and full of flavor. We got their waffle (half order), churro French toast (half order), their eggs Benedict (scrambled eggs instead of poached), and the non alcoholic mule. Everything was to die for (see what I did there- it’s an old mortuary). We did have reservations and I highly recommend it, especially for dinner and brunch.

The vibe inside is dark, warm and cozy. Our server was great, kind and attentive. The bai buns are really good, my favorite thing I ate. The bulgogi tacos were good, a little dry and salty. Overall a fun spot and they offer a range of options.

SUCH a nice spot and we were able to get in later in the evening as well. We didn’t come in for a huge meal but they had some yummy mocktails and some taro nachos which were nothing like I’ve ever had before. We were seated in a booth and the ambiance was very romantic. I believe there is outside seating as well but don’t quote me on that. The service was also really good. I was even able to forget my credit card there and was able to get it back the next day earlier than opening hours. They have a really organized system as well to handle that. This attention to detail is what I appreciate when I go out to eat. I will definitely be back if I’m ever in the area

This was a really great spot for dinner. We had heard about Linger for a while and grateful to have finally made it. We were really impressed with the atmosphere and all of the friendly staff. We started off with the Bao buns, honestly we tried all of them and each were exceptional in their own way, 10/10. We will be coming back for more of these! We also tried the Filipino Spring Rolls, very good as well, 8/10. The Lemon Grass potstickers were another stand out dish 10/10. The scallion pancake with spiced short rib was tasty, 8.5/10. We also tried a side of the hot honey fries, which we enjoyed 7/10. For entree we had the summer fattoush salad, exceptional 9.5/10 with chicken skewer on the side 8/10. We also had the crispy whole trout, which was delicious 9/10. The rice that came with this dish was one of the let down, tasteless and gummy 1/10, but I will not let a little rice get in the way of an amazing meal. We had a wonderful evening. Parking can be challenging or expensive, which ever way you decide to go. This place was extremely busy but they have lots of room. We look forward to making it back soon!

Steak house

Guard and Grace is a modern steakhouse located in Denver, offering a variety of chops, small plates, and fine wines in a spacious setting with a raw bar and patio. Renowned chef Troy Guard showcases his culinary expertise by focusing on high-quality beef dishes while also featuring seafood options like oysters, crab legs, and lobsters. The restaurant's elegant interior includes a striking glass-enclosed wine cellar boasting an extensive selection of over 4,000 bottles.
We came here for our first time last night for my fiancés birthday and had a top tier experience! As soon as our server, Josh, introduced himself I knew we were going to be taken care of. He was amazing- sent out a birthday hamachi treat (incredible!), helped us with recommendations, staggered the dishes perfectly, and made little changes to enhance our experience (able to add an extra gyoza; add cookies to the toffee cake when we couldn’t choose). It’s amazing how being able to do things like that can make your experience feel so tailored to you without it seeming like a burden. And we loved every dish: octopus (the favorite! As well as the dessert), gyoza, filet flight, burrata, carrots. It was all delicious!!! Garden Grace cocktail and our champagne toast (!) was also awesome! Truly amazing experience last night between the food and the service- cannot recommend this place enough. So glad we came here for his birthday.

Came here last Sunday to celebrate our birthdays and had such a wonderful night! We were running a bit late but called ahead, they were super accommodating, and our round table was ready when we arrived. Our server Jonathon was amazing! so friendly, attentive, and really knew the menu. We loved his appetizer recommendations (potstickers and crab cakes were both delicious). For mains, we had ribeyes and filets with scallops, a pork chop, and a filet with crab meat that was loaded with crab. Every bite was perfect. The sides: broccolini, Brussels sprouts, and their signature fried rice, were outstanding (seriously the best fried rice we’ve ever had!). The atmosphere is lively but comfortable, and the acoustics are so well done that you can actually hear your table talk. We did get a little surprise with a 5% culinary charge, but the next day the general manager, Brandon, called to apologize and explain. That kind of follow-up really impressed us. We told him to keep the refund and give it to Jonathon instead. Great food, great service, and overall a 10/10 experience. We’ll definitely be back every time we’re in Denver!

I don’t even know if words can do this experience justice, but here goes— My husband and I got so many recommendations to try Guard and Grace for our anniversary, so we “pregamed” by checking out the menu ahead of time and were instantly sold. On the big night, we were warmly welcomed and quickly seated. Our server, Brandy, was an absolute gem—so friendly, fun, and knowledgeable. She walked us through the specials and made fantastic recommendations, which we happily followed. We decided to go all out, starting with the bread service (seriously, those rolls and butter should be illegal—they ruined all other bread for me forever). Then came the wagyu gyoza, paired with some mysterious but magical “pitchfork sauce” that I now want on everything I eat. For mains, I had the 4oz prime filet and my husband the 8oz—both with scallops added on top. Hands down the most tender, melt-in-your-mouth steak we’ve ever had, and the scallops were buttery perfection. Our sides—brussels sprouts and whipped potatoes—were equally amazing. Dessert was the grand finale: sticky toffee cake and banana-misu, both heavenly. The service was just as incredible as the food. The team went above and beyond to make us feel special—everyone signed an anniversary card for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. We even got to meet Ryan, the pastry chef, who surprised us with warm chocolate chip cookies—a gesture that completely made our night. From start to finish, it was a perfect evening. Guard and Grace has officially become our celebration spot. Thank you to the whole team for making our anniversary so memorable!

I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant, where I visited for my first time last night. I first called to find out about payment options before attempting to book a reservation for the evening, and the hostess was very kind and accomodating in getting me setup with an ideal table for one and told me they would have a spot ready for me whenever I arrived. While waiting to be seated I took notice to the amazing ambience of the restaurant. After being seated, I then was introduced to my waitress, Jessenia, who from start to finish was extremely pleasant and provided some of the most outstanding service I’ve ever had in a restaurant, along with the rest of the wait staff who were wonderful, friendly and attentive to all of my needs as well as being great conversationalists. Each course was well spaced out as I had tried a variety of options, and I can say that the cocktails from the bartenders I had were well balanced. The plates these expert chefs prepared from the bread to dessert was phenomenal in presentation and preparation of the utmost quality, every bite was truly delectable. The wait staff as a team genuinely made me feel like a rockstar!!!! They were on point at every moment and didn’t miss a beat. I am extremely grateful and impressed with my experience from everyone I had met and the overall service that was provided throughout my visit to Guard and Grace to wrap up my last evening visiting in Denver, CO for this trip, and I will certainly recommend this gem to friends, family and anyone so they can share the same exceptional experience that I had received. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

I made reservations a month in advance as I was coming to Denver for my first time. This place did not disappoint and exceeded my expectations. The moment we walked in it was a chill vibe from the staff. The atmosphere inside was amazing, all the staff took care to make sure they never got in your way when you were walking and were super helpful. Our server made sure we always had everything we needed. Top shelf food and service but didn't feel like it was a super formal place. I had the filet flight and was amazing. My first trip to a Michelin rated place and it was amazing.

This place did not disappoint! We made reservations for my best friend’s birthday and immediately appreciated the ambiance as soon as we entered through the door. The hosts are friendly. The atmosphere is inviting as well as diverse. I ordered the salmon dish while my friends ordered steaks with a side of whipped potatoes and broccolini. Everything was cooked to perfection! The triple chocolate chip cookies were a nice way to end the night! I will forever come here whenever I visit Denver.

First time at this wonderful restaurant. Valet was definitely worth it for $20 on such a busy Tuesday night. The food was incredible! I love how you could get a bit of both filet and fish. One of the best filets and Black Cod I have ever tasted. Thankfully my company was paying as it was pricey. Sides came family style and were excellent. Had potato, brussels, and carrots. Dessert menu looked divine, but I was too full from dinner. Brought home triple chocolate chip cookies which are smaller than anticipated, but packed full of chocolately goodness. My husband ate all 6 in one sitting. Overall, service was superb-Shout out to Steven our server and the valet last night was on his game!

We had the privilege of celebrating our 10-year wedding anniversary at Guard and Grace, and the evening was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were embraced with genuine warmth and impeccable hospitality. Our server, Josh, exemplified excellence in every way. He was attentive, professional, and sincerely caring. His thoughtful presence elevated the entire experience and made us feel truly celebrated. The atmosphere was exceptional, a perfect balance of elegance and warmth. The space is strikingly modern and sophisticated, yet it remains inviting and comfortable. Even with the energy of a bustling dining room, the ambiance never felt overwhelming. It was refined, romantic, and celebratory, setting the perfect stage for our special evening. The culinary journey was remarkable. The octopus was perfectly tender, paired with a vibrant chorizo sauce that was both surprising and memorable. The filet flight offered a masterful exploration of flavor, each bite better than the last. Dessert was a triumph, with the toffee and ice cream as an indulgence of perfection, and the signature cookies a delightful balance of cookie dough richness and baked comfort. Guard and Grace is the epitome of fine dining in Denver, seamlessly blending artistry, hospitality, and heart. It is a place to create memories, mark milestones, and savor flavors that linger long after the last bite. Without hesitation, we give Guard and Grace the highest recommendation and cannot wait to return. Five stars in every sense.

Sushi Den is a renowned Japanese restaurant in Denver that has been delighting diners for over 30 years. It offers an authentic Japanese dining experience with its exquisite sushi, meticulous sashimi, perfectly battered tempura, and superb noodle dishes. The restaurant prides itself on serving high-quality dishes made with fresh fish flown in daily from Tokyo. Located on Pearl St.
Sushi Den is absolutely amazing with the friendliest staff and top tier food and drinks. Went there to celebrate my birthday and had the best experience. Drinks and cocktails were very good. Everything we ate was fresh and delicious. Would definitely go back and try everything else on the menu! Now for my standard comments. Location is very clean and well kept. Indoor seating is comfortable and relatively spacious.

Enjoyed my visit to Sushi Den. The ambiance is cozy and lively, and sitting at the counter was a highlight , it’s fun watching the chefs work right in front of you. The sushi chef was friendly, and we had a brief chat while he prepared our order. Service was great too. I dropped my chopsticks at one point, and the waiter brought me a new pair within seconds, which I appreciated. The sushi was fresh and delicious. We tried one from the Tokyo menu, and it was impressive. Overall, good food, attentive staff, and a great spot for sushi in Denver. I’d definitely come back.

what an amazing experience! Came here while on vacation here in Denver. Sushi was fresh and flavorful, super on point! Sat right at the bar with the chef who made our sushi right in front of us he got skills this guy. Our server was very friendly and amazing. The restaurant was very clean. It got very busy really fast we came right at 5pm as the dinner service started and made it just before the huge rush! The experience definitely lived up to its reputation. Would highly recommend this place. Their fish is also shipped fresh from Japan daily with in the 24 hours of the catch. 100% recommend!

Went to Sushi Den for the first time with the family. In my opinion, this is the best non-Michelin starred sushi restaurant I’ve been to. The tuna was excellent; not stringy or grainy. The salmon was also incredible; very buttery. The eel was perfectly cooked; crispy on the outside and soft flake on the inside. The scallop was the second best scallop I’ve ever had. Service was also prompt and well done. Highly, highly recommend visiting!

The private dining experience was very intimate and a lot nicer than dining in the main area due to how loud and crowded the main dining rooms are. The service was amazing from start to finish and even making the reservation felt like a personalized experience. The food was good for the area, however I would argue that depending on your past sushi experiences, it may not live up to the local hype. Sushi Den is considered peak sushi for the area and it is higher quality than most others locally.
Grant S — Google review
I have to agree with another reviewer, Mr. Smith below. I’m a previous dining room customer at Sushi Den—amazing sushi. The dining room noise level is intense. We joined Chef Kizaki for Chef’s Table for a special occasion. There’s an intake questionnaire to make the experience tailored to your specific tastes. The service from server Su was outstanding. The private room was okay—kind of haphazard behind the bar and mini split above the dishes was filthy. It wasn’t uncomfortably warm but the heat from the main kitchen definitely wafted in. Kizaki was friendly and informative. The fish quality was incredible. I specifically asked for uni and unagi via email questionnaire but neither were served—our favorites respectively. I felt like omakase instead of okonomi. He’s got a routine. Sake selection is extensive—the two flights are worth a whirl. Chef’s Table isn’t necessarily worth the hype.
Mike G — Google review
The sushi is high quality, and there’s a large list of the freshest options available from the catch of the day menu. Our server did a fantastic job at going over the entire menu and highlighting some of the best options. The New Zealand king salmon nigiri stood out as some of the best fish I’ve had, and this is coming from someone who typically doesn’t like salmon and much prefers tuna. The next best one I tried would probably be the BF toro (fatty tuna). For appetizers, the wagyu skewers were excellent, as one would expect from wagyu. The tempura was good, but didn’t stand out. I also had the duck udon, which was a little bland for my liking, and I probably wouldn’t get it again. My main complaint though would probably be that the price was quite high, for me this would definitely be more for a special occasion than a regular occurrence. The dining room was also quite loud, which made it hard to talk.
David Y — Google review
I had the Omakase, chef sampler, that were debuting. Hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had. Each piece was crafted in front of my eyes and the chef walked us through each item we were eating. My favorite was the tuna portion. Having bluefin tuna belly with freshly grated wasabi on top was fantastic. You got a mix of sweet, Smokey, spicy, and light delicate flavors in the meal. I’m still thinking about it. The meal also came with a hot towel, octopus and cucumber salad, and a nice orange. Definitely worth it, dare I say it might even be worth driving over just for the sushi.

Breakfast restaurant
Watercourse Foods is a charming cafe with Watership Down-inspired murals, offering a completely vegan menu. Established in 1998, it has been a popular spot for plant-based meals in Denver's Cap Hill area. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh ingredients and reducing environmental impact by recycling nearly all waste, including converting fryer oil into bio-diesel.
Today my daughters and I enjoyed great food and service here. We were apprehensive upon entering because there were no other black people in the entire restaurant and when we encounter that kind of environment, we get poor service or attitudes. We were pleasantly surprised by the smiles when we entered and the nice greetings. Once seated our server Heather was pleasant, willing to answer questions and checked on us frequently. We ordered the Denver omelette, French toast, cauliflower wings, and the Philly cheesesteak. The food was delicious and you would never think it was all plant based. All that to say, if you’re looking for flavorful plant based dishes and a welcoming atmosphere, come here and experience Watercourse Foods!

Great place for vegan meal! Caesar salad is amazing. The Philly sandwich and cauliflower wings were on the heavier side but still pretty good. Love the all vegan menu!

Outstanding!! Visiting Denver I was searching “best vegan food in Denver” - Watercourse was always at the top of my search and I am so so so very happy we decided to make reservations. I have been vegan for 8 years and this is BY FAR the best meal I’ve ever had while dining out. We tried multiple dishes because “why not” and each one blew our minds. Watercourse is thoughtful and creative with their ingredients. My taste buds were absolutely delighted! My only complaint is that I don’t have a Watercourse in my home town and it breaks my heart. I would fly to Denver just to eat here and return home! Our service was exceptional, portions were plentiful, and my mocktail was the best I’ve ever had!! I apologize for not having the patience to take gorgeous photos of our meal. It was too good to stop!!
Meghan C — Google review
I dined at Watercourse on March 3rd, 2024 and i’ll never dine here again. Let me tell you why. I honestly wasn’t going to even write a review but the more I thought about how poor my experience was, I realized it was important to share. I traveled from Los Angeles to Denver alone for work and I was excited to eat here, as I am plant based and did a lot of research on where to eat. I decided on Watercourse because I saw they had a three course option for a great price. I excitedly made my reservation about a week in advance. I arrived at about 4:20 and it was pretty quiet. I was greeted and seated by 4:25 and then completely forgotten about for almost 40 minutes. I’m not joking. The servers would look over at me, say something to each other, and then walk away. I had time to spare because I was just going back to my hotel afterwards, so I waited to see how long it would take them to remember I exist. A large party was sat about 20 minutes after I sat down and they were immediately taken care of, drinks and all. Again, there weren’t many tables at this time, the servers knew I was there and hadn’t been taken care of yet, and still continued to ignore me. I don’t remember the exact servers but I know one of them was a woman with very short hair - that’s all I remember. Anyways, when they finally bothered to come to my table, there was no apology for the delay. Very nonchalant. The actual food was ok, it was a bit cold and the only dishes I actually liked were the mushroom starter and the chocolate dessert. The seitan steak and halloumi (?) sticks were kind of gross. This whole experience was highly disappointing and I will never come here again. If they don’t care about their customers (especially single diners) why should I give this place even more money? I have vegan friends that frequent Denver and I tell them to avoid this restaurant like the plague.
Hennah H — Google review
There are not enough stars for this place! The vibe is super welcoming and the food and drinks are delicious! Truly unbelievable that it’s all plant based. My only advice would be to check the bakery case before you order because there might be amazing surprise treats. I have the cauliflower wings, Cuban and a cocktail. Took the carrot cake to go and so delicious start to finish. And the friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere just makes it perfect.
Sadie F — Google review
The atmosphere, service, and food were all delicious — a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff were friendly, and the overall vibe was vibrant yet comfortable. For the most part, their menu feels thoughtful and nourishing, though they could take it to the next level by reducing some of the less clean/toxic ingredients for an even more wholesome dining experience. Still, a solid go-to for flavorful plant-based meals.
HealWith D — Google review
Great friendly service and atmosphere but unfortunately the food was pretty mediocre. I really don’t like leaving negative reviews, but the Watercourse platter was probably the worst thing I ate on my trip to Denver. Vegetables had little flavor and seemed like they’d been sitting out, and the tofu scramble was pretty bland. The only aspects of the meal that were good were the vegan chorizo and the cold brew coffee. Maybe this wasn’t the dish to order or maybe they were just having an off day. I know Watercourse has a great reputation and I might need to visit again to give them a fair shot.
Justin N — Google review
I'm not really a vegan or a seitan guy, but they really make a strong effort on all their dishes 😉. The menus are more extensive on the QR code website vs what's on the physical menu. Great selection of alcohol at the bar as well!

EDGE Restaurant & Bar is a high-end steakhouse located in the Four Seasons Hotel Denver. The restaurant offers a sleek and contemporary atmosphere, attracting sports celebrities and musicians. Known for its wood-grilled meats, the menu features a variety of steakhouse staples such as strips, filets, ribeyes, porterhouse, and Wagyu tomahawk chop.
Wow, what an incredible experience we had at The Edge Restaurant! From the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for something special, and the reality absolutely blew us away. Our server, Phil, truly provided exceptional service. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations. He elevated our dining experience from great to unforgettable. And the food? On another level entirely! My wife declared her sea bass to be the best she has ever had – a truly remarkable dish. As for my 21-day dry-aged ribeye, it was simply phenomenal. Cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor, it was a carnivore's dream. To top it all off, the Sticky Toffee Pudding was an absolute explosion of sweet, decadent goodness. Every bite was pure bliss. Without a doubt, The Edge Restaurant has become our new favorite spot in Denver. If you're looking for outstanding food and impeccable service, look no further. We can't wait to go back!

The moment we walked into this place, we were greeted by the most attentive staff. My sister, mom, and I had been dining out the length of our stay and my mom was having some bad experiences dining out, but this place changed it all. Our server was welcoming, patient, and answered all our questions. From our main course to dessert, we enjoyed it all. I had the most tasteful coconut panna cotta! Food was delicious, service was excellent, and the dim lit place gave the atmosphere a very private touch. My mom especially liked the bread and made a comment to our server about it. Later, as we were leaving he sneaked in a couple breads for her in a to-go box! It was the nicest touch and an unforgettable experience for my mom. Glad this place turned her outlook around on dining out.

Just WOW! I had some important clients in town for a convention and made pre-arrangements for the Butcher Block private dining room. Everything was so well coordinated from the pre-planning with the event planner and advanced consultation with Chef Najib the day prior. He came up with a spectacular 4 course meal with with pairings by the sommelier that truly wowed my guests. Here are some photos .. sorry I was so excited about the scallop dish that I dove in before taking the photo. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Chef Najib is new there and wow what a great hire! Had dinner here for the first time to celebrate my wife’s birthday and we were blown away. From the service to the atmosphere to the food, everything was over the top. Everything was elegant. As far as food, they have great meat options, which spectacular sides. Highly recommend their wagyu skirt steak, paired with whipped potatoes and the truffle Mac and cheese (to share). To top it off, because we were here on a special occasion, we were presented one of the best sticky toffee puddings ever! Will definitely be coming back.

SO GOOD!! We had the best time celebrating a birthday at EDGE. Absolutely loved the fun appetizer creation which our server described as a chicken nugget with caviar on top. That is exactly what it was and it was so tasty! We ordered salmon and filet mignon which were also very good. They were able to cook the salmon well-done, even though it’s listed on their menu as pan-seared. I appreciated their willingness to make this accommodation for us. We ordered a side of the rosemary mashed potatoes and they were TO DIE FOR! The rosemary was so evident but not overwhelming at all! As a birthday treat, they also gave us the sticky toffee pudding which was very tasty. They also accommodated not wanting nuts on this, so they are really good with dietary restrictions/preferences! The service was also fabulous. Our waiter was friendly and professional, and we were promptly checked in on numerous times. We can’t wait to go back to EDGE for another great meal!

I dined solo and had a glass of wine, tuna steak, and Brussels sprouts. The menu recently changed so they did not have the octopus that I was hoping for. The service was impeccable. All staff were extremely friendly, timely, and generally helpful. The space sits behind the lobby bar and is chic without being overdone. It is elegant but not stuffy. Overall it is a very comfortable space. The tuna steak was perfectly cooked and deliciously seasoned. The wine was great. The brussels sprouts were good. They had crispy edges and softer center. However, the glaze was overdone. It has a sweet undertone that was good but there was too much glaze which made them overly sweet and drowned out the otherwise perfectly done side.

Seafood restaurant
Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar is an upscale seafood chain known for its gourmet dishes and creative cocktails in a relaxed, stylish setting. Founded by passionate restaurateur Dave Query, this oceanic restaurant and oyster bar in LoDo has become a favorite spot for seafood enthusiasts. The menu features a variety of sustainable seafood sourced from dedicated purveyors, including pristine oysters, towering seafood platters, king crab legs, fresh lobster, creamy clam chowder, and more.
This was my second time at Jax, the first time was for Christmas eve dinner, where they had a fest of the 7 fishes. I really enjoyed all the food that I had, so I decided to come here on a Wednesday after work. It was nice enough outside, so I decided to sit on the patio, which felt like the best choice. This place has a cool interior and the staff were all very friendly. I started off with a few appetizers from their happy hour menu. I had a BLT salad, which seemed very straight forward, good amount of bacon tomato's and dressing 6.5/10. I also tried the gumbo fries, which I felt pretty happy with. I would say that the gumbo was good and the fries were decent, it felt like generic restaurant fries, instead of something homemade 6.9/10. For an entree I had the North Carolina catfish blackened, excellent piece 9/10. The highlight on the plate was the crispy anson mill grit cakes 10/10, excellent! All in all, it was easy to find metered parking and very happy with my choice to come here. I will look forward to returning soon!

Heads up, this might be a little long, but only because I have so many good things to say! First off, I noted in our OpenTable reservation that I’d be on crutches and hoped for a table where they wouldn’t be in the way. Not only did the team acknowledge that, they gave us an incredibly thoughtful and spacious table, one that could have seated 4 or 5 people, on a busy Friday night. The hostess was so kind and accommodating, and it genuinely set the tone for the evening. Now, onto the food and drinks… I was thrilled to see a Muscadet on the menu (hard to find and perfect with oysters—thank you for having that). The CrackerJack oysters were exactly what I want in an East Coast oyster and somehow only $3 each. The Niçoise salad was spot on and how it should be done, and easily the best I’ve had in years - love me some fresh haricots verts 🤌 And my boyfriend’s lobster roll was elegant and beautifully curated as well. Huge compliments to the kitchen. And lastly, anyone serving a Willamette Valley Pinot Noir Rosé already wins points with me. And most importantly, Clare! She delivered some of the best service I’ve had in a long time. Warm, attentive, and just a joy throughout the whole evening. Honestly, the whole team was exceptional. I really needed a nice night out, and this went above and beyond in every way. Thank you all, what a truly lovely crew.

If you’re in the mood for seafood done right in Denver, Jax Fish House & Oyster Bar is a gem that blends freshness, sustainability, and lively vibe into a standout experience. The moment you walk in, you get the sense they take what they do seriously — delicious, responsibly sourced seafood — but they also know how to keep things fun and relaxed. The space feels energetic, with a bar, raw bar action, and an approachable yet polished dining room. The menu shines in its variety and quality. The oysters and raw bar options are often showstoppers — pristine, briny, beautifully shucked. From there, the seafood entrees don’t disappoint: carefully cooked fish, creative preparations, and sides that complement without overpowering. Whether it’s chowders, shellfish, or the special dishes, each plate feels thoughtfully built. Service is friendly and knowledgeable; the team seems to truly care about your experience, from recommendations to timing. The drink menu (cocktails, wines, etc.) complements the menu without stealing the spotlight. Overall, Jax is a go-to for seafood lovers in Denver — a place where you can celebrate freshness, flavor, and a lively dining mood all in one.

Happy hour at Jax was the best! Patio seating, great wine and local beer - add in 2-3 dozen raw and grilled oysters! Best afternoon of our trip to LoDo! Loved every moment! Keep an eye out - 20-% tip added on a party of 3. We would have tipped over 20%, but want others to know! It would be easy to just tip on bill if you don’t read the bill clearly!

From start to finish, this restaurant completely exceeded expectations. The oysters and clams were outstanding—fresh, briny, and beautifully presented. Each bite tasted like the ocean in the best possible way, and you could tell they take real pride in sourcing and preparing their seafood. The service was equally impressive. Every staff member we interacted with was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive without ever being overbearing. They were quick to offer recommendations, check in at just the right moments, and make us feel welcome the entire evening. It’s rare to find service that feels both professional and personal, but this team has mastered it. The atmosphere is another highlight. The space has a perfect balance of energy and relaxation: stylish yet inviting, lively without being loud, and filled with a great vibe that makes you want to stay for hours. Whether you’re there for a casual night out, a special occasion, or just craving excellent seafood, it hits all the right notes. Altogether, it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Fresh, flavorful food, exceptional service, and an unforgettable vibe—this place is a true gem. I’ll absolutely be back and will be recommending it to everyone I know.

First time I have eaten here. And I know this restaurant has been there for years. But it was delicious. The quality of food was fantastic. The oysters, the crab, the shrimp, the scallops, everything was fresh. The New England Scallops are a must. With pieces of pork belly and pickled fresno chilis. If you are from out of town or looking for a nice seafood dinner this is a great spot. Bar service was super friendly. GET THE KEY LIME BRÛLÉE FOR DESSERT.

I was here for their lunch service and had an epic lunch at the bar. The service was as great as the drinks. The oyster selection was decent but lacked some of the favorites (kusshi, well point, Kumamoto). I still enjoyed what was there especially the Hollywood oysters. The oysters were shucked well. You will never go wrong ordering king crab. It was pricey as expected but you get what you pay for... Fresh seafood in downtown Denver. There are cheaper options on the lunch menu but I opted for the cold bar because that's what I go for at places like this.

We dined here on 10/15 and had a fantastic meal. Kelli, our waitress, made the experience 100x better- we can’t recommend her enough! She was attentive, provided food & wine recommendations. She had great banter with us and kept us entertained. If you go, ask for Kelli!

Traditional American restaurant
Bar
My Brother's Bar is a historic and laid-back establishment in Denver, with a rich history dating back to the 1870s. It has been frequented by famous figures like Neal Cassady and has maintained its charm through the years. The bar is now owned by a longtime employee and her family who are dedicated to preserving its legacy. Despite not having any TVs, the bar plays classical music and serves up delicious burgers wrapped in parchment paper with a variety of condiments.
I've only visited My Brother's Bar one time during a work trip to Denver, but it was fantastic! The service was great, the burger was the best burger I've had in a LONG time and the beer selection was on point. I walked in and sat right at the bar and there was a group of regulars sitting there chatting it up and they invited me into the conversation and it just felt really welcoming. I'd love to come back and eat here again when I'm back in Denver. Not at all surprised it's still around after all these years!

The atmosphere is nice inside and outside. On the inside, there is a bar and multiple tables. A large window to the outside. It feels comfortable. On the outside, it's shaded and there are a few tables. Bathroom is clean. The food is delicious, the burgers specifically. Cooked a perfect medium, or medium rare. The greens are fresh. The basic burger is under $10, which is impressive and rare. Especially for the taste. The service is where this restaurant lacks. We ordered different burgers. I wanted mine without bacon, and my friend wanted his with. We got the reverse. Our waiter was sassy a bit, and I thought maybe that's just his style. It turned out worse, when he called the cook who seemed to only speak Spanish, he kept saying bacon si. We all felt uncomfortable with that behavior, a lack of attempt to communicate or respect. That's how he treats the cooks in front of us, no idea how when we're not there. I'd come back for the food, if I felt the service has changed.

Love this place! The burgers are delicious and worth the drive. My favorite is the jalapeño cream cheese. You must try. Fries and onions rings are just as good. Have to get the sport tea it's delicious . The only thing that has changed is the service. It's hit and miss. Servers can be amazing and some really rude. If you're heading to or coming from a game or nea4 downtown, it's worth stopping in. It's kid friendly and has a good kids menu. Overall, it's a great place to eat. 4 stars because of the service.

No frills, just good food (cheeseburgers). Advertised as Denver’s oldest bar. Very nice establishment with deliciously tasty cheeseburgers! Definitely recommend this establishment to anyone who likes tasty burgers. 🍔 That’s being a winner baby!!!👏👏👏

This was most excellent little place to stumble upon! It was absolutely darling. The vibe was on point. The food was outstanding! My friend and I just enjoyed some appetizers and drinks .The little potato skins were delightful the dressing that was served with them was my absolute favorite part of the whole thing be honest. However, we also ordered the honey feta dip with the crostinis. Also absolutely delightful. We had the elote corn dip which was okay. Not bad in any way, just the other two stood out so much harder that I had eaten too much by the time I got to the elote dip..... I also got a Caesar salad to go. The dressing was the best Caesar dressing I've ever come across. I love that it had potato chips on it. It was the perfect amount of crunch.. the entire theme was just out of this world. I loved the disco balls and all the foliage outside. It even had like fake grass that you were hanging out on. It was the most on point experience that I could have tried to offer my friend who was visiting me from a small town. I felt like I really showed her around by taking her to this lovely location!!!

I don’t usually write long reviews, but our experience at My Brother’s Bar in Denver absolutely deserves one — especially after how incredibly they treated us during a really special occasion. We came in to celebrate my best friend’s 35th birthday, and this year was particularly meaningful because he’s paralyzed and doesn’t always feel comfortable going out to new places. But from the moment we walked in, everything just felt right. First and foremost, a massive shoutout to our server Miguel — hands down one of the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Miguel was kind, attentive, and thoughtful in ways that went beyond just being a good server. He made sure my friend was comfortable, helped us find seating that worked for his wheelchair without making a big deal of it, and constantly checked in with a great attitude and genuine care. You can’t teach that kind of hospitality — it’s just who Miguel is, and it made all the difference. The vibe at My Brother’s Bar is one-of-a-kind. It’s the kind of place with real character — nothing fake or trendy, just good energy, welcoming people, and a laid-back environment that makes you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time. The history on the walls, the deep wood decor, and the old-school feel make it feel like a piece of Denver you never want to let go of. We sat inside and then hung out on the patio for a while, and both had their own charm. Now let’s talk food: unreal. I ordered the JCB (Jalapeño Cream Cheese Burger) and it was out of this world — juicy, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and just the right amount of heat. The condiment tray they bring to every table is such a fun touch — it lets you totally customize your burger and makes the meal feel even more personal. The onion rings were crispy perfection, and the beer was cold and refreshing — everything we hoped for. Miguel had some killer suggestions that ended up being our favorites of the night. But what really stuck with me — and my friend — was how comfortable the experience was. It’s not always easy finding a place that’s both wheelchair-accessible and genuinely welcoming, but My Brother’s Bar nailed it. No awkwardness, no stares, just great service and great vibes. For my friend to say it was one of the best birthdays he’s had in a long time? That meant everything. So if you’re in Denver — whether you’re a local or just passing through — do yourself a favor and stop in at My Brother’s Bar. Ask for Miguel if you can. Come hungry, bring friends, and expect to leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit. We’ll definitely be back. 💯

Cuba Cuba Cafe & Bar is a vibrant and festive spot that offers traditional Cuban sandwiches, along with an array of refreshing drinks from the bar. Founded by Kristy Soccaras Bigelow, a first-generation Cuban-American, the cafe has become a beloved Denver classic since its establishment in 2001. The original location, nestled in historic aqua-colored homes, boasts a cozy bar known for crafting excellent mojitos and a delightful shaded patio.
We stopped in just as they were opening, and it was fantastic - lovely patio, attentive service, and fantastic food. One of the folks in our party had some substantial food allergies, and the server was knowledgeable about the menu/prep and happy to help. Everything was delicious, and it was a lovely atmosphere to enjoy a spring evening.

Food and vibes were a 10/10. Highly recommend. Everything tasted great but my favorite was the crispy shredded pork with this super flavorful rice. Absolutely to die for. And the desserts?! Must must must. The empanadas were good but we took the extras home and had them the next day and they tasted even better. Service was fine but nothing great. Everyone was nice but it took us some time to get the waitress attention/ she wasn’t around a ton. Though to her credit she was a tad bit busy. Overall great experience and I shall be returning!

My friend is a local and took me here. I was hesitant as I don't know much about Cuban food but it was delicious. The restaurant is so cute and quaint and does offer outside seating. Service was great. My friend had a special request cocktail and thre bartender did a great job replicating it. I would definitely go back if in the area!!

We had an 8:00 PM reservation and arrived early around 7:40. We placed our orders — drinks, appetizers, and entrées — by 8:00. Unfortunately, by 9:00 PM, our food still hadn’t arrived, and I had to speak with the manager. We later learned that it was our server’s second day, which may have contributed to the delays. When the food did arrive, my daughter’s steak, ordered rare, came out more than well-done — definitely disappointing. My husband and I both had the catch of the day, which was honestly very basic and lacked flavor. The ambiance was nice, but the experience and food just didn’t meet our expectations.

This Cuban café in Denver is an absolute gem! Not only is the coffee rich, bold, and authentically Cuban, but the atmosphere is truly one-of-a-kind. Sitting here with a cafecito or cortadito in hand while being surrounded by the mountains is simply magical. The combination of authentic Cuban flavors and the breathtaking Colorado scenery makes this place unforgettable. The pastries and snacks are just as delicious — flaky pastelitos, fresh sandwiches, and treats that instantly bring a taste of Cuba to the Rockies. The staff is warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. Whether you come for a quick coffee or to relax and take in the views, this café is a must-visit. It’s rare to find such authentic Cuban flavor paired with such stunning mountain surroundings. Truly a perfect spot in Denver!”

Lively, the fun spot serving up all of the Cuban favorites. Full bar and outdoor patio. Happy hour from 4-5:30 with some tasty mojitos.

I was truly disappointed with one of my favorite restaurants! The mojito was terrible, the Ensalada Cubana not the same as before; although, the server tried to tell me different, I have been going to the original Cuba Cuba since it opened, so the kitchen replaced it with a giant bowl of lettuce. The Lechon was very dry! The server was "okay"and did not offer a dessert menu, which I know they have! The warm welcoming feeling of "Havana" ambience is gone, now its Bad Bunny and Wiggy blasting in the background! Never going back.....🙁🙁🙁🙁

One of my favorite spots in all of Denver! The food is always incredible — truly can’t go wrong with any menu item. The staff is always lovely, and the vibe and ambiance is unmatched. Mojitos are also fire. Overall, you can feel the pride in every aspect — the food, drinks, service and ambiance (display and sell local art).

What a fun little Japanese place in Denver. I LOVE the decor and the gardens. Also loved that there is a museum next to the restaurant that keeps a lot of the history of the place intact. The build of this place is really impressive. The food was yummy. I got a katsu curry & a salmon side with some tea.

What an experience. Like stepping into a Time Machine. The decor and style in here is such a unique dining experience. Was a little skeptical at first due to the menu being a bit challenging to read and order from due to being several menus to read, but the Food ending up being great, our sever provided some advice that helped us make our decision.

Fantastic. Indoor and outdoor seating is equally a great option to feel like you're briefly leaving Denver into the Japanese countryside. But if you're a cat person, I'd go with outside seating. We were blessed with seeing a couple cuties walking around the garden! Food was very comforting and perfect for this Fall weather! Definitely a unique experience. We plan to come back for sure!

I first heard about Domo during Covid through an enthusiastic recommendation from a friend. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed due to the pandemic, so I had to wait patiently. Recently, while scrolling through TikTok, I came across glowing review clips showcasing the cozy ambiance and mouthwatering dishes that looked incredibly appetizing—I knew I had to go right away! Domo did not disappoint one bit. I ordered two main dishes: ramen (rich bone-broth soup, perfectly balanced, topped generously with tender meat and fresh vegetables) and chicken katsu curry (crispy fried chicken with mildly spicy Japanese curry sauce, served with steaming hot rice—super flavorful, not greasy, and full of authentic Japanese home-cooked vibes). I also added two appetizers. Everything was just right for us. The food here is incredibly well-suited to my taste—fresh, delicious, reasonably priced (around $15–20 per main dish), with generous portions perfect for a quick meal or gathering with friends. The atmosphere is a huge highlight: the decor is understated yet refined, featuring a traditional Japanese farmhouse-style wooden building and an outdoor Japanese garden with bonsai trees. It all creates a warm, serene feeling—like stepping into a little corner of Kyoto right in the heart of bustling Denver. Quiet, softly lit, and ideal for date nights or unwinding after a long day. The restaurant even has a mini museum of Japanese culture—a truly top-tier cultural experience! Special tip: The restaurant has an adorable cat that roams around. It loves to linger near tables, especially begging for a piece of chicken katsu or karage—if you sit still, it’ll hop right onto the chair next to you, staring with those big, sparkling eyes. So cute I almost wanted to take it home! (Rest assured, the place is spotless and the cat is well cared for.) If you love authentic Japanese food like ramen or katsu curry, a chill atmosphere, and a little surprise from a “four-legged staff member,” head to Domo right now. Highly recommend! 🐱🍜

This bistro offers a contemporary atmosphere with a full bar and has garnered high ratings for its Southern-inspired comfort food. The menu features dishes like Creole shrimp omelette, buttermilk-battered fried chicken with collard greens, poached eggs, grits, and red chili ranchero sauce.
Great service for sure! Our server was quick, had great personality, and came to us within 3mins when we needed something. He explained the menu for us quickly. Offered his recommendations when we were wondering what was the customer favorites and what his was. Although we didn’t decide on it. Big thanks to Brian! My girlfriend got the salmon salad and I got the chicken/waffles with 2 eggs. The complimentary sides tasted amazing and portions felt fair. My chicken was crispy and seasoned well, although I would’ve wished it was crispier. My waffles tasted fluffy and had a nice crunchy texture on the outside. The syrup that came with it was not too sweet which I loved and ended up using the entire portion. It was a great brunch for me and my girlfriend before heading back home to Cali. Definitely remembering this shop when we come back to visit the mountains! **this was a super late review, but I saw my old photos and remembered that I wanted to leave a review**

Was very excited to try this place in Denver. Southern style menu is what enticed us. Fried green tomatoes, succotash, grits and beignets were what we came for. All were delicious. Happy to have vegan options. Coffee is robust and strong. The beignets could have bigger for the 10$ price tag but I get it. The creme anglais and berry sauce were tasty though. The fried green tomatoes were done correctly, which is hard to find if you are an aficionado such as myself. Good local spot, I would return. Very noisy though.

I had shrimp and grits for the first time. Four friends was the best place to try it because it was good. My favorite was the fried green tomatoes and the pancakes was delicious also. My friend had the crab Benedict and she was satisfied with how delicious her meal was. I will return because I would like to try other entrees on their menu. The tables are close together with limited space and the waitress could be more patient to complete guess needs.

Came in on a weekday morning, and I’ve never had as kind, warm and professional service. I got the fried chicken Benedict and coffee, which were both delicious. The staff was very accommodating as we had a large party and there aren't many large tables. Loved the atmosphere. We tried the scallops, frog legs and bone marrow. Everything was really good, but the drinks were awesome. I had the bartender's choice and they made me a mezcal smoky old fashioned which definitely hit the spot. Our server Ricky was friendly, funny and quick with service. Awesome hangout!

The service and drinks were top notch. I was intrigued by the variety of ingredients in the drinks that I’m not used to seeing in a cocktail but they were all delicious. Our server Ricky was attentive and on top of everything for our whole visit. I also appreciated that they didn’t let us back until they were ready to seat us and had a guide to our table. I wouldn’t say the food was necessarily anything to write home about. We ordered the ricotta ciabatta and the burger and thought it tasted fine.

This is a super cool speakeasy!!! From the entrance to the way you leave, very true to the old speakeasies!! Atmosphere is a fun, low light, very well done vibe. Food was fantastic with some great options. Drinks are next level!! This is one place that you better have a reservation, be standing in line 15-20 minutes before they open or it will be a long wait! When we went, it was raining, we got there about 15 minutes before it opened and we were second in line. By the time they opened the door, there were 5 parties standing in the rain waiting…. It’s that good!!

Fun speakeasy entrance, everyone was really nice and welcoming. Very dark when you go in, but that is the vibe. We got a booth which comfortably fits 4 (we were only 3). Cocktails were beautiful and tasty! Food had some winners: bone marrow and brussel sprouts were delicious! The ricotta ciabatta was just ok, and I would not order the deviled eggs again. All plates were very generous portions though!

We had so much fun here! Such a cool vibe & I loved how they put our group of 6 in a semi private area. It was great & our server was phenomenal. Great environment but don't go in the morning. I was excited but first opportunity was a layover in the morning. Fine, I ordered a Ceaser which every bar in the Denver airport can make. Nope, not here. Ok, give me a regular coffee with cream. Nope. They do not have cream for coffee! We ordered breakfast at 1030 am and yet, I couldn't enjoy a cup of coffee with cream? I mean, I'd rather have the Ceasar but...really? No cream for coffee?
K H — Google review
The bar tenders here are awesome. Super friendly and knowledgeable. Also the atmosphere lives up to expectations with that swanky speakeasy vibe. I haven't actually had their food which I hear is good but my review is of the drinks I had. I appreciate the level of creativity and constant innovation. With a rotating cocktail menu you are bound to have some duds compared to a highly curated cocktail menu that's been perfected over years, but I have great respect for the creative process of always pushing the boundaries. We had a stellar experience. The drinks were so good! I was in the mood for something similar to a Widow’s Kiss drink, so they made a custom drink for me. Would’ve gotten food, but $12 for a side of fries was a bit ridiculous. Seriously can’t wait to come back for the drinks!!

Steak house
Quality Italian is a modern steakhouse with a contemporary design and an upscale menu featuring Italian cuisine. Located in Denver's Cherry Creek shopping district, it offers traditional filet mignon, bone-in rib eye, and New York strip steaks prepared Italian-style with various toppings. The restaurant also serves handmade pasta dishes. Quality Italian provides high-quality Italian food along with perfectly cooked and seasoned traditional steaks that have been dry-aged for 28 days.
Our server was incredibly attentive and great at taking care of our needs. We had a party of six, and there weren’t any long waits between drink refills or food deliveries. Although the prices are a bit higher (we easily spent $100 per person), the food and drinks were delicious. If you’re celebrating a birthday, be sure to let them know during your reservation, and they’ll have a birthday card waiting for you at your table before you arrive. and a bowl of ice cream for dessert. I highly recommend this place and would definitely go back. (All food consumed is not pictured.)

The team at the reception desk helped us get in early because our daughter had altitude sickness and they were so kind and wonderful. We loved all of our meals and the service was top notch. It was very crowded - great energy and vibe. I am gluten free and had the truffle pasta with gluten free noodles and it was insanely delicious!!!

Atmosphere and service were incredible. We got the table with a couch on one side and that might be my new favorite kind of dining! The food presentation was impressive. I just found the food okay for the price point. We got the ricotta app, corn creme Brule, filet mignon meatballs, brussel sprouts and the chicken parm pizza for two. It was all good and I wouldn't complain but didn't have much of a wow factor with the dishes we ordered. Honestly the Brussel sprouts were my favorite and the bread with oil is fantastic! Would definitely eat here again as I like the vibe.

My wife and I just had dinner there yesterday. We have been super excited to eat here and it was very underwhelming. We got some steak pasta which was very good but everything else had 0 flavor. The chicken parm was terrible, and the tiramisu was one of the worst things I’ve ever had. On top of all this my wife has been sick for the past 24 hours. She had the side salad that comes with the chicken parm pizza and I didn’t. She has been on the toilet non stop and now on medicine. Also $250 for 2 ppl in cherry creek is just insane. We will not be back here again. If u want mid overpriced food go for it.

The quality of food here is phenomenal. Best Caesar salad I've had in my life. For main course I had from the pasta section Spicy Lobster Rigatoni Alla Vodka. It is to die for. Excellent service as well. I might come back to Denver just for this restaurant.

Quality Italian in Cherry Creek is absolutely amazing—it gives off that perfect old-school Italian vibe from the moment you walk in. The Caesar salad and lasagna are standouts you can’t skip; the lasagna, especially, is one of the best I’ve ever had and perfect for sharing. While I enjoyed the Parmesan, the lasagna truly steals the show. It’s an upscale spot that still feels family-friendly, with large tables and a warm atmosphere. Definitely make a reservation ahead of time—this place is worth every bite.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – Hands Down the Best Experience! I celebrated my 41st birthday at Quality Italian Denver, and I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we walked in, everything was absolutely top notch — the service, the ambiance, the food — all exceptional.
Angelina S — Google review
My partner and I had dinner at Quality Italian last night for our anniversary, and we couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate. From the moment we walked in, everything felt special. The hostess greeted us with a “happy anniversary,” and when we got to our table, there was even a handwritten card waiting for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. The highlight of the evening was the incredible service from Michael. We took all of his recommendations and loved every single dish. He timed everything perfectly, and every member of the team who came by our table was friendly and warm, whether they were dropping off another drink or boxing up leftovers. Even the manager stopped by to wish us a happy anniversary, which really made the night feel personal. As for the food, it was absolutely phenomenal. The shrimp cocktail with Calabrian chile aioli was outstanding, and the lasagna for two with filet mignon meatballs was rich and flavorful. We ordered the sautéed spinach on the side, which paired perfectly. And the Ferrero Rocher dessert? Hands down one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. If you love chocolate and hazelnut, don’t leave without trying it. The cocktails were just as good. Nicole, the bartender, made my favorite drink, a French Blonde, perfectly, and my partner said his Old Bro cocktail was fantastic. Huge thank you to Michael and the entire team for making our anniversary dinner so memorable. We’ll definitely be back soon.

Ramen restaurant
Asian restaurant
Restaurant
Uncle is a popular ramen spot with two locations in Highland and Wash Park, owned by chef Tommy Lee. The restaurant offers a unique dining experience with a centerpiece chef's counter where guests can watch the chefs expertly prepare steaming bowls of noodles and shareables like gua bao (pork belly buns) and chilled tofu.
God this meal blew me away. Came in on a chilly night looking for some ramen and I cannot stress enough that everything was an absolute HIT. The standouts were the spicy cucumbers, soft shell crab buns, and the crudo! So perfectly executed. Funnily enough, while the ramen was delicious, it was out-shined by the smaller plates. Amazing experience all around!

Fun little resturant that is pretty unique based on colorado standard, but i have had many better ramens even in colorado. So it is fun date night or activity based diming experience but the food is meh, bao buns were similar to supermarket frozen buns. Staff were super nice and friendly and the place was trendy and hip

Not a bad spot for some ramen! Friendly service, good drinks, and delicious spicy cucumbers. The spicy chicken was pretty good. I loved the broth and noodles. The chicken was a little tough but I think I expected that when it comes to chicken in ramen. Aside from that, everything was wonderful. Now for my standard comments. Location is well kept and clean. Decent indoor seating though can get a little crowded. Still very comfortable.

Dined at Uncle during Thursday night. Parking would be difficult to find in the area so plan accordingly. We got seated in the bar area and our orders were taken quickly. We ordered duck ramen and bibimbap. Our duck ramen was very tasty with creamy broth and duck meat. However we were hoping the the bibimbap to be hot but it was served to us cold which we were not expecting. Overall definitely recommend Uncle for Ramen.

Oh my gosh, the Ramen here is so good!! And I had the island in the sun cocktail, which was also amazing and refreshing, I usually get the spicy chicken but this time I got the yellow curry veggie and it was a 10 out of 10!!! We also got the fried chicken appetizer, which was pretty good, but we needed a little bit more sauce and of course the server brought us two different kinds and was on top of everything. Highly recommend this place.!

My husband and I shared: - Fried Chinese Eggplant Bun - Fried Chicken - Spicy Chicken Ramen - Veggie Khao Soi Ramen The Chinese Eggplant bun blew me away. I'm usually not an eggplant person, but it sounded interesting and our waitress sold me on it. If you get one thing, it should be this. I also loved the sauce and unique flavor combination on the friend chicken. Between the entrees, the Khao Soi was my favorite. This didn't surprise me because it's my favorite Thai dish and I tend to like it more than traditional ramen. That being said, the spicy chicken ramen was still very good. We went on a weekday and arrived right when they open. If you do this, it's not busy at all. 10/10, highly recommend this spot for great Asian food.
Jacqueline T — Google review
Uncle is known for its ramen, but their Highlands location has so much more to offer—especially during their Summer Happy Hour (Monday through Saturday, 5–7 PM). I recently stopped by and was seriously impressed with the variety and quality of the small plates. Everything was flavorful and well-executed. Highlights included the Chinese Eggplant Bao (crispy and packed with flavor), the Chilled Tofu (so refreshing), and the Romanesco, which was a surprise favorite thanks to a great team recommendation. The hanger steak lettuce wraps and garlic shrimp were also delicious. Service was kind and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere is laid-back but modern. If you haven’t been in a while—or have only gone for the ramen—this happy hour is the perfect excuse to return. 📍 2215 W 32nd Ave, Denver, CO 80211

Dim sum restaurant
Seafood restaurant
Star Kitchen is a bustling Chinese restaurant in Denver that's famous for its wide array of dim sum dishes, making it a popular spot for lunch. While the drink selection is limited, the appeal of its solid dim sum experience more than makes up for it. The restaurant offers an extensive menu of traditional and flavorful dim sum, similar to those found in larger cities like Los Angeles. With friendly and attentive servers rolling out carts filled with dumplings and soft buns, Star Kitchen provides an authentic dining experience.
Star Kitchen isn't just good; it's a standout for Chinese seafood in Denver! The vast dim sum selection alone is worth the trip, especially during lunch. You'll find all the classics, from perfectly steamed dumplings to crispy fried delights. Beyond dim sum, their seafood dishes are fresh and flavorful. Yes, it can get bustling, especially on weekends, which speaks to its popularity. The atmosphere is lively and authentic, making for a memorable dining experience. While some online reviews mention occasional inconsistencies in service, the quality of the food generally receives high praise. If you're craving authentic Cantonese cuisine with a focus on delicious seafood and an impressive array of dim sum, Star Kitchen, located at 2917 W Mississippi Ave, Denver, CO 80219, is definitely a top contender in Denver.

Authentic Chinese dim sum. We were pretty new to the city so unsure of other places but Star Kitchen is very good. We have crazy lines, long waits, carts with delicious foods flying around. It is perfect lol Definitely recommend going here when it first opens or maybe later in the morning or early afternoon to try and avoid the larger crowds on weekends. The food is worth it! Now for my standard comments. Location is kept relatively clean. Can get very crowded, especially on weekends. Indoor seating is comfortable.

A fantastic authentic Chinese Dim Sum experience! This place is the real deal. Bring a bunch of friends so you can try everything. Sit down with your group and order freshly made dim sum from the revolving carts! Sooo good. Great portions. This was my first time, but the folks that brought me here had me prepared for a wait.

My partner and I are obsessed with dumplings and dim sum, but we’ve often been disappointed with dim sum spots. Star kitchen has been our go to and favorite spot to visit when we are in town. Extremely friendly service, super clean (all their employees wear masks), delicious food and really pleasant G rated atmosphere. I love it. We also love ordering off the regular menu, usually a crab or lobster dish to go with our dim sum. Thanks for being a staple in our lives!
HeeWon L — Google review
I’ve been meaning to try out this spot for the longest time and finally got around to it—twice in the past week. Everything I’ve had here so far has been amazing, the service is quite friendly, the place is always packed, even on weekdays at lunch. Among the best traditional (or really any) dim sum I’ve had and I’ve been to spots in San Francisco’s Chinatown. It holds its own for sure. Potstickers, chow mein, char siu ribs, taro buns, xiao long bao, Chinese cucumber salad, salt and pepper smelt, stir fried cheung fun, stuffed cheung fun…can’t go wrong (can’t wait to try the roast duck, turnip cake, etc)! This will now be a regular spot for me. What a gem. Get your behind over here if you haven’t already!
Keenan A — Google review
The real deal with dim sum. First in Denver I've had after some pretenders over the years. The egg custard tarts are a specialty, my favorite... I'll continue to crave those. Will return for sure. So many exploratory choices, the rice (puffed up) noodles are good enough on their own. Not everything is a pure win but the adventure is fantastic. What really puts it way over the top is affordability, ridiculously cheap for stuffing yourself... and you will.

Excellent food and this place has DimSum carts. Usually seen in only higher end DimSum establishments. I have been to many a DimSum Houses and usually I order my standards. All the standards StarKitchen carry are excellent. Congrats on Denver for having an AUTHENTIC place.
Bigdogs29 — Google review
The service from the owner was absolutely awful. I regret giving it another chance and stopped going due to the poor customer service. Denver has many restaurants with better food and service. The owner nearly lost it when I asked to substitute an item on the menu, responding with a rude, "You get what’s on the menu, no changes." It felt like everything was pre-made, which might explain the rudeness and lack of flexibility. There was no greeting, no smile, and the food was practically thrown at me with a snarl. I’ll never return.

The melon margarita blew me away first thing and then my meal arrived so quickly. I was extremely satisfied with the quality of the flavorful food. I loved eating in the restaurant after many of years of taking getting takeout. Their flatware is exceptional.

4.5 stars! I tried something completely new, and really liked it! I ended up going with the Mediterranean sandwich, and it was pretty good! My only critique is to possibly increase the amount of sauce due to the size of the chicken making it slightly dry, however the flavors were great!!!! I don't usually like onions in my food, but these really added to the flavor. I would definitely eat here again :) the cashier was also very kind and gave us free fountain drinks :)) The sides selection was very enticing, I ended up getting the Parmesan fires which were pretty good! I definitely want to try the other options!

Tried this place out on Sunday for the first time and was so impressed! Had the Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf and Brussel Sprouts which were both super excellent! Decided to return on Monday to try out the Veggie burger and it was so perfect! Going back today for the French Dip. 3 trips in one week might be excessive, but for the quality, price, and ever smiling employees I might just go once more before the week is out! Oh and don’t sleep on the Cheesecake Chimichanga! Update 8 hours later: Just ate there again! Xay is always so courteous and fun to interact with! 10/10

Amazing food! Very creative ideas on some menu items with some typical favorites so a nice variety for everyone to choose. High and low top tables, outdoor patio seating as well. Cashier took orders as well as work the tables. fill station was available for anyone who wanted more to drink. Cashier was friendly and helped with menu options. Menu was clearly labeled with meat offerings that have the ability to go vegetarian and also substitution ideas for allergies

Loved the food! I was surprised at the casual atmosphere, especially with the food that was anything but casual. Upscale food at a non-upscale place. It was great! We sat ourselves and ordered on our phones with QR codes and the food came right to our table. You can also go up and order at the counter. The fried chicken and the fried cheesecake were my favorites! 10/10 would recommend!

At first, my friend and I were hesitant to try this establishment since we were from out of town, but we gave it a shot — and oh boy, let me tell you, the roasted sirloin French dip sandwich was immaculate. Paired with the Parmesan fries, it was a match made in heaven. The waiter also made the experience so much better.

Great food & portion sizes! You order at the counter & bus your own tables when finished (I think a way to keep prices down). My husband loved his meatloaf dinner & I had a great fancy chicken sandwich with a dinner salad. Tables don’t seat more than 6 people & cannot be moved together as they are bolted to the floor. I recommend Chop Shop for a great dining!!

Safta is a stylish and airy restaurant located in the Source Hotel, offering modern Middle Eastern cuisine with a focus on wood-fired pita bread. Chef/owner Alon Shaya, known for his award-winning work in New Orleans, brings his interpretation of Israeli cuisine to Denver. The restaurant's name, meaning 'grandmother' in Hebrew, reflects the comfort and warmth of the food served.
I enjoyed every part of my experience here! This restaurant is very hyped but I’m happy to say it lived up to my expectations. The pita was so soft and fluffy and I probably would have been happy to have a bunch of it and try all the different dips and not even order anything else! The whipped feta was my favorite! I’m glad we did try the other food though, with the falafel being my favorite.

This place is different and fun. Food was phenomenal!! All food was shared plates, drinks are playful and delicious and it was great for a date night. I don't take 5 star ratings lightly but no detail was missed here. Our server was super attentive, kind and was very knowledgeable about their menu. Her recommendations did not disappoint.
Ash T — Google review
One of the best Mediterranean places I've been to in Denver. I think the move is to get a few hummus and dips, as the fresh pita is quite filling. We shared a branzino, which was absolutely delicious with plenty of garlic and herbs sauce. Some hidden bones, but mostly perfectly fileted. A bit lukewarm on the crispy eggplant because the crust was a bit thick with a mushy interior. Cocktails were really solid. La Chouffe Belgian strong blond went well with all of the dishes. Top notch presentation and service all around.

Nice middle eastern mix restaurant. Got recommended by a friend. Nice atmosphere overall. A little confusing the entrance it is inside a hotel. Server was courteous and very helpful. If you sit outside there are no heaters. They serve family style. We got hummus and pita then some salad and then some protein portions were okay for 4 people. Food had great flavor Overall great place.

We asked our son where he would like to go for a birthday dinner and he said Safta without hesitation. He’d heard good things about the food and has a special love for good falafel. Safta served great food with good service and did not disappoint. The best way to enjoy the offerings that Safta has is to share plates family style, which is their intention. We had a wonderful sampling of everything from tasty tahini to excellent eggplant. If I had to find something to criticize it would be the noise level. We had early reservations and things were quiet to begin with. However, as the restaurant started to fill with patrons the noise level quickly became overbearing. We found ourselves struggling to hear and be heard. Do yourself a favor and try Safta when you get the chance.

We had such a wonderful experience at Safta! The food was truly top-notch – some of the best Mediterranean we’ve ever had. We tried the whipped feta, baba ghanoush, fatoush salad, lamb kebabs, crispy eggplant, and ended with the baklava cheesecake. Every single dish was delicious, but the standouts for us were the whipped feta, the crispy eggplant, and that incredible cheesecake. The pita deserves its own mention – pillowy soft, warm, and flavorful – it was easily some of the best pita we’ve ever had and the perfect vehicle for all of the amazing spreads. Our server, Jen, made the experience even better. She was fun, warm, and attentive, helping guide us through the menu and making us feel like friends by the end of the night. Overall, Safta is a gem in Denver. Exceptional food, welcoming service, and an atmosphere that makes you want to linger. We can’t wait to come back!

Plimoth is truly an excellent restaraunt. Literally everything ordered is of extremely high quality, and it is boosted with exceptional and warm service. Truly a top restaurant and one of the best experiences you can get in Denver. Highly recommend the Halibut, Chicken, feta dip, and calamari. Finish off with any dessert with coffee.
Eddie B — Google review
I randomly discovered this neighborhood gem while in the area. This is a real gem with very thoughtfully crafted dishes. A relleno is usually stuffed with cheese, battered, and friend. In this case, the ingredients and sauces and preparation really elevated the dish. It was very “up market” and I cleaned the plate. An excellent vegetarian option. The peach tart looked beautiful and had potential but fell short. It was overcooked. The peaches were slices thin and beautifully arranged on top but lacked flavor and were dried out - likely due to the tart being overcooked. I’ll chalk this up to a rare miss. Service was warm and friendly. The atmosphere blended being approachable while also elevated. Prices were substantial but the food backed it up. Candidly I don’t know what’s overpriced anymore.

Wow wow wow. The food here is to die for. The whipped feta and calamari appetizer were exceptional. The halibut was out of this world. The vegetables were cooked perfectly and had so much flavor. Honestly the best meal I had in Denver. Would definitely be back!

This was one of the best restaurants we’ve eaten at in Denver. Very low key/under the radar, but was better than any “American,”non-Michelin Star restaurant in Denver in my opinion (Sap Sua may have a leg up). The Caesar salad, Korean ribs and chicken entree were all delicious.

There are a lot of great neighborhood restaurants in Denver. The Plimoth is top tier. Elevated American cuisine, lively but not loud, attentive service. Menu changes frequently. We like to eat at the bar which works well after about 7:30. Before that bartenders are non-stop so service then can be slow. Reservations needed.

Great old style dinner experience. The service was excellent, coffee good, food good and portions huge. The price was a bit high for a burrito but given the size understandable. The green chili was tasty but could have packed a bit more flavor. All in all you won't be disappointed.

24 hour diner. Huge menu including lunch. Cereal options and pancakes if that's all you're feeling. When we first walked in, there was a ton of people flooding in and we were discouraged because we felt there'd be a long wait. We were seated in less than 10 minutes at 11am on a Sunday. Don't be overwhelmed by packed parking lot and people waiting. You'll be seated quickly. 3 TVs in case you need to see Sports. Single bar seating, too.

My waitress was very kind & knowlegable. I ordered the Pattymelt with extra grilled onions & the cook made it deliciously perfect!!👍☺👍 Service was fast & friendly. After I was finished I was offered a complimentary rice pudding for dessert & I gladly accepted.☺ Even though given that everything tasted wonderful I still believe that the menu prices were a bit high for what appeared to be more of a much older, family type of place. My Pattymelt was $11. which is a tad steep IMO.😐 Click the LIKE icon below please if you agree with or like my review.... Thanks.😊

TLDR: Don't believe anything above a 3 star review. Pros: Seat yourself, old timey diner feel Cons: Service: Waited 10 minutes after food was delivered to get a refill. Decided to vacuum the whole diner at 1. Food: Average portions of mediocre food, waffle might as well have some candles with how cakey on the inside it was and dry on the outside. Bacon was like a thin piece of paper that melts once it touches moisture. Chicken might as well be a Popeyes biscuit with how dry it was. Coffee was water with a hint of bean. Somehow made dry eggs(kinda impressive) I feel misled by the reviews. I was told that the service was good, the portions were large, and that it tasted good. Yet I paid 45 dollars for the most mediocre breakfast ice ever had. Our meal consisted of chicken and waffles, pancakes, bacon, and eggs. Not worth 45 dollars.

I came here because it's been here since before I move away in 1985. They're obviously short staffed, as it seems every place within the hospitality industry is these days. I seated myself at the counter, a little surprised there were any seats available, given the hour, 8:00am, and the day of the week, Friday. My server though seemingly run off her feet, was pleasant and knew her menu. I asked if the chile in the eggs Santa Fe was green chile and she confirmed it was, with not even a second's hesitation. Yes eggs were cooked perfectly over easy and the green chile was good. All in all it was at I remembered it from nearly 40 years prior. Highly recommend Breakfast King, for breakfast

It felt nostalgic - like being back home, eating my dad’s brisket. They say nostalgia is love attempting to reach backward and I sure felt the love here in the food they made.

Back in Denver, I was excited to eat here again since it was a standout spot during my last visit. Unfortunately, this time around was a letdown. Not sure if the place has gone downhill or if I just got stuck with bad cuts, but the food was pretty disappointing. The brisket, which should be the star of the show, was dry, tough, and just poor quality overall—definitely not how I remembered it. On the bright side, the beans, pork belly burnt ends, and cornbread were all solid. But when you’re coming for BBQ, brisket is the main event, and it just didn’t deliver. Service was okay, nothing great, nothing terrible. All in all, it was an underwhelming experience, and I won’t be coming back next time I’m in town.

Incredible service and fantastic barbecue. The guys at the counter are welcoming and offer great suggestions. The brisket was fall-apart tender and the sausage was delicious. The ribs were a little tough, but I'd still highly recommend this place and will be back to try them again. A must-visit if you're in the area!

Service was good. Food was mediocre. The front door (entrance to patio) kept slamming because the pneumatic arm is broken. How very annoying if you are eating out on the patio! The meat had little to no BBQ/smoke flavor. I took a peek out back and it looked like all the pits are electric. I saw to wood bins in the area. The food was also very very fatty. A sign that the restaurant buys the cheapest cut from the vendor. I know BBQ is typically fatty, but this was the worst I have ever seen. I ordered 1/4 pound of the pork and found two small pieces of meat. The rest was all fat. The person that cuts the meat needs to pay better attention to what he/she puts on a plate.

First visit today for lunch....buffalo ribs and brisket were excellent as well as sides (grits and poblano mac and cheese) nice shady patio out front. Good size portions for the price and quality...will visit again to give venison and lamb a try.

Go early! When we got there at 1:45, they were out of lamb, venison and pork ribs (my favorite!). I substituted pulled pork, which was dry even with the sauce. The brisket was tasty. The bison ribs were excellent! Bourbon caramel popcorn puffs were yummy. Mac and cheese and slaw were delicious!

Yum! Delicious BBQ of various kinds of meat. Opened at 11 and sign said it closed when they ran out. I got there at 11:40 and they were already out if elk and pork ribs! Great for carnivores as you can just get meat and not have to pay for sides, buns, etc. About 2 blocks north of Porter Hospital on Downing St. I will be back 🥰

The Bindery is a relaxed and inviting dining spot in LoHi, offering creative plates and pastries for an ideally decadent meal experience. The open, airy dining room and breezy patio provide the perfect setting to enjoy a definitive brunch. Chef Linda Hampsten Fox's culinary creations are inspired by childhood memories and international flavors, incorporating Colorado ingredients with a touch of hospitality.
This was thee perfect Sunday brunch spot. Definitely make a reservation. The food was just as spectacular as it looked and the Dutch baby did not disappoint one bit. It was the perfect sweetness without being too much. Don’t even get me started on their bacon bloodmary. The hickory crispy maple bacon with the spicy tomato?!👀✨😎 10/10 highly recommended.

Honestly I loved everything about that place. I went this morning for breakfast and it was stunning! The food plating was just as good as how everything tasted. I had such a delightful experience that I decided to come back for dinner as well. Again, every item on the menu was spot on and so delicious and I have to point out the outstanding, flawless service by Daniel. He is such a nice guy, knew his stuff so much that it felt like he was doing the cooking, haha! If you are going to Denver, that is definately a place you want to look out for an amazing experience! Highly recommend!

I go back to the bindery again and again for the elevated service and the beautiful atmosphere, especially in the morning when the sunlight streams through the tall east facing windows. I think they have good pastries, and elevated brunch food. I agree that at times execution can be inconsistent. But it’s still always generally very good And I can count on really enjoying the service and the environment. I love to go there for a long morning, brunch with friends or family on a weekday when the place is not so busy.

Clean, open, lively atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Bloody Mary was spicy and stacked with snacks. Crab Cakes Benedict was yummy and presented with greens. Savory and sweet empanada pastries were also very good. A solid place for brunch!

Outstanding!!! We had a pumpkin chai cinnamon roll, sweet Dutch baby & the lump crab Benedict…all were divine!! Absolutely the best food we had in Denver! Our server was warm & kind! Happened to meet the owner and she was the same! Cannot say enough good! We almost didn’t come because it had 4.4 stars & I have NO idea what that is about. This is a solid 5 out of 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

I don’t usually write 5 star reviews, but I had such a great experience on my first visit to The Bindery at Denver Airport (Terminal A, near Gate A24) that I had to share. I ordered the Hanger Steak + Eggs—my first time trying hanger steak—and it was absolutely delicious. The entire dining experience was fantastic. My server, Jessica, was awesome—friendly, attentive, and efficient. When my flight arrived, she made sure I was checked out quickly and on my way with no stress. I’d love to return for the amazing food and service, but I don’t always pass through Denver. If you do, definitely make a point to stop by and treat yourself. Highly recommended!

I advised the restaurant on my reservation that my friend was in a wheelchair. Not only was this information ignored, but this building is almost completely inaccessible to the handicapped. The front door is surrounded by a large curb which blocks access. There's a rear door, but this is locked and blocked by furniture. There is a front patio at sidewalk level which gives access to the front door, but it is mostly blocked by large planters. The only way we could get in was to maneuver past a gap in the planters which was blocked by two tables and a large, free-standing umbrella. This is truly outrageous. I really should have rated this place at one star; however, we did enjoy the food once we fought our way inside. The restaurant was very quiet at 6:00 p.m. on a Wednesday with less than 20% of the tables occupied. Maybe the other potential guests were not as determined as we were to find a way inside. Only one server was on duty, but he was gracious, efficient, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. We decided to share two dishes, starting with the Burrata with heirloom tomatoes, spiced peaches, cucumber, crispy quinoa, sesame, and vanilla oil. This was beautifully presented and all of the components went well together. Hearty, toasted bread was provided, so the burrata was spread on that and we worked our way through the accompaniments. The only sour note was the complete lack of seasoning. Even just a bit of salt would have gone a long way to bring out the flavors of this dish. We finished with the Olathe Corn Risotto which was garnished with parmesan, tomatoes, and pancetta. This was a delicious dish. All of the components melded perfectly with each other. We enjoyed it a lot. The wine list is well-selected. I chose a Spanish red blend, the 2023 Vinicola del Priorat. It went well with our food selections. The room is elegant with a high ceiling, open kitchen, long bar, and large bakery. The many windows offer a beautiful view of the Platte Valley and downtown Denver. I just can't get past the handicapped access disaster, though.

Best food we had all weekend. The Dutch baby was incredible. It light, custardy, and I could only get through half of it it was so big. Lots of blueberries and butter with it. The crab eggs Benedict was delicious. The service was professional and helpful.

Davies' Chuck Wagon Diner is a classic American diner located in Lakewood, Colorado, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The diner serves up traditional American dishes like Chicken Fried Steak and Smoked Pork Chops until 3 PM. Visitors can also indulge in delicious desserts such as Frosted Maple Sugar Cookies and OREO Chunk Cookies from The Colorado Cookie Company.
What a throwback to another time! Rustic ‘50’s kind of atmosphere with indoor booths and counter seating and outdoor dining as well. Good menu of rib-stickin’ grub straight from the “chuck wagon” - including a 6 egg omelette - be still my heart - oh, after that, it probably will be! Fantastic biscuit and gravy (in pic it does not look so appetizing, but it was very good); American Eggs Benedict was good (though poached eggs were a little underdone), hash browns awesome. Fast, attentive service and incredible value for the dollar.

We came from NC and I had this place on my wishlist forever! I LOVE local old diners, and NC is lacking. The sign was amazing. Love the horse! And the food was better than expected. Great value and quality. I had the steak and eggs (cowboy?) and my husband had the bluebird. Wasn’t crowded. Nice and clean. Great service. 10/10 would def be back

Classic. My parents brough me here when I was a baby, and now I bring my son. A landmark. An institution. If I could give 6 stars, I would. This has been my families breakfast place for literal generations. Never go away Davies! EDIT: (NEW OWNERSHIP). The price has gone up, but the food quality has too. The food was excellent. Their "Colorado Benedict" was great. Not sure what salmon, capers, and pesto have to do with Colorado, but it was great. Sister had the divorce eggs, they were great. Son had the quesadilla, it was great. Between all of us, we were all over the menu, and everyone loved it. So glad that Davies is in good hands! UPDATE: Added photo, the Huevos Rancheros with a steak was amazing! This place is great!

Oh my god the food is so freakin’ good. My sister and I have gone 3 times this week. This last time we went I turned to my sister and said that the food tastes like it was made by someone who loves you. Probably the best bacon I have ever had and the French toast is so soft and fluffy. Plus it has a nice chill atmosphere and the staff are friendly. Highly recommend 👍

Worst 30 I spent on breakfast in a long time. The kids pancake meal was missing the syrup, my toast wasn't toasted just bread with butter and I was expecting a warm bread pudding with ice cream as they advertise but instead I received a cold slab with no ice cream, very disappointing.

This is a casual neighborhood restaurant. We went in for a Sunday meal. Everything was available, breakfast itemd as well as dinner. Restaurant's open hours are from either 6 or 7:00 am to 3:00 pm every day. Our server was terrific! He checked on us regularly and our orders were cooked, and presented, just as we ordered. Delivered nice and hot! Our server and all the other servers, are moving quick to get everyone seated and served. From Colfax, it doesn't look like there is much room, but that is deceiving. There is table seating on the left and right, from the front door. Also, there is a counter in the middle. Their parking lot is right behind, on Hoyt St. We have been here years ago. Food and service has greatly improved. We will go back.

Top notch service! Very yummy food. Lots to pick from. Great family environment, especially if you can sit outside and have children. They have a nice little play area for the children so that the adults can continue conversing. It gets very busy on the weekends but I have never had to wait to be seated.

I saw this place on Instagram, recommended by the_denver_foodie the other day so we happened to be sort of on this side of town and decided to try it. It’s old school alright. It’s a bit in the dirty-ish side, dusty window sills, food on the floor, etc but the bathroom was clean, the service was excellent and the food was pretty darn good. Hubby had an omelette with pancakes and Hadrians and I had the Hawaiian burger with onion rings and iced tea. It’s always a gamble getting iced tea out cuz I’m picky in that I don’t like old tea and so often restaurants serve old tea. This iced tea was perfect and the burger was excellent. Even without the trimmings the burger itself was crispy on the outside, juicy and perfectly well done on the inside yet not over done. Our server was spot on with everything and so friendly. The music was great. We will definitely go back.

Vital Root is a trendy, all-day eatery located on Tennyson Street in Denver. It's part of the Edible Beats restaurant group and offers globally inspired, health-conscious dishes with a focus on plant-based and vegetarian-friendly options.
Wife and I were staying nearby so we stopped in to grab dinner. The interior is causal in a good way and has a nice look. Order at the counter and food is brought your way. Counter staff was friendly and helpful. We tried the nachos with Chik-in, tacos, and a breakfast sandwich with a lemonade to drink. Food came quickly and server was friendly. Everything was very good ! Overall, it was a quick, pleasant experience. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quick bite to eat with vegan options.

Absolutely amazing experience at Vital Root! The outdoor patio is such a lovely spot to relax and enjoy your meal. The menu had so many delicious options—it was actually hard to choose, but that just means I’ll definitely be coming back soon. The cashew queso is an absolute MUST-TRY, and their chicken bacon ranch wrap was realllly good too. Plus, the area is full of cute small businesses to explore. Highly recommend!

The breakfast burrito was absolutely delicious — perfectly seasoned and full of fresh flavor. The no-bake cinnamon roll was phenomenal; rich, indulgent, and made with so much care. The atmosphere felt neutral yet welcoming, and the customer service was warm and attentive. Definitely a spot I’d return to for both the food and the friendly experience.
HealWith D — Google review
The open air environment is relaxing and casual, the staff are friendly and helpful, the menu is broad and good for those with restrictions. The fried mushrooms with chili sauce are just about worth a trip to Denver! If I go back I will definitely get the mushrooms. The chicken wrap I got was okay but a bit dry overall. The Korean dish my friend got was delicious and the braised pork on the side was oh so good! Overall it was a nice restaurant experience but at almost $75 for two of us to eat lunch it is pricy! Sure we didn't have to get an appetizer or a seltzer water but even still it would have been a little pricey. Overall, I think I would go back, but maybe only order the mushrooms because they are "wow" good!

It was such a diverse and delicious menu. Very friendly for gluten free and vegan diets. I could not believe they even had a gf/v no bake cinnamon bun. Would highly highly recommend for anyone who wants a nutritious and tasty meal.

This place was there on my brunch list but instead we went there to grab coffee and snacks in the afternoon and almost regretted why dint I go for brunch. There was an elaborate menu we ordered the yummiest smoothie that had cocoa tahini with coconut milk. SO GOOD! My daughter wanted to have beetroot brownies so we had that. It was good. The third thing we ordered was taco that was great too. Ambiance was chill and relax and staff was super sweet.

Had this place on my to do list next time I was back in CO. Visited 7-31-25. I got the cashew queso nachos. Wasn’t impressed and was nervous about getting. I wanted something light and cautious about eating chips of any type. Thought I would at least try once. Not something I would get again. Did not like the chips. The reviews for the beet brownie was 100% on point. Yummy, moist and a special treat for me. I eat at these type of restaurants as I travel a lot. Do wish they had more selection on lighter foods and options for gluten free.

Bistro LeRoux is a stylish restaurant located on the 16th Street Mall, owned by renowned chef Lon Symensma. The elegant interior features crystal chandeliers, flickering candles, vintage blue booths and banquettes, dark woods, and antiqued mirrors. The menu offers elevated Pan-European dishes such as Wagyu steak tartare with crisp potato chips, cauliflower cre brulee, and French onion soup.
Absolutely perfect experience. Brody was our waiter, he provided excellent service. The food was amazingly delicious. All seafood was fresh. The trout deviled eggs were great. The frites were awesome. Shrimp cocktail was so delicious. All sauces were match from scratch you can tell immediately. The absolute best part was dessert Chocolate tart! I’d 10/10 recommend this place. I will be back!

Me and my husband decided to try their happy hour and we had really high expectations based on the reviews. But the food really disappointed us. French onion soup was so bland that it didn’t taste like french onion soup at all. Liver mousse toast was too sweet and flavours were just weird. Spanish meatballs were bland as well and it needed some salt and spices. Beef tartar was okay but the chips were a little bit overcooked and burnt. I really liked the happy hour special 30$ bottle pf champagne and charcuterie board. It was really tasty and good value.

I was invited to this place by a pharmaceutical rep while at a conference in Denver. I am a little torn. I arrived a little early, before anyone else. I was seated and I could see the waitress was very busy but she did not stop by as I waited for about 20 minutes. When the other folks arrived, the service was also slow. Again coming out the waitress is fault, she was just very busy. One of our guests was vegan and, after some confusion, they made a special dish from her, and some additional dishes for the vegetarians. I had an appetizer of the steak tartare and the scallops. The food was excellent. Service was just a little slow, but they were busy. They also didn't have a couple of the menu items available. Overall, however, everything was outweighed by the excellent food.

Came in for a quick drink and bite during happy hour. We ordered the YOLO - it was nice, but surprised to see a strong orange flavor, since the description didn't seem to have that. The truffle deviled eggs were nice, but the truffle oil was average. The melted leek foccacia sounded exotic and we were informed that it would have melted leek within, but turned out to just have a few bits of leek on top and nothing else to flavor the focaccia. The herbed butter and evoo combo was salty and avoidable. On the whole, didn't enjoy our experience here as much as in Cholon or YumCha. Plus the server seemed in a hurry to get us our bill, just after we were served the starters, even though it was early evening and not many folks in the restaurant. Quite surprising and didn't feel welcoming in the least. Cholon service on the other hand was superlative. Not getting back here in a hurry.

I came in a few weeks ago with my parents to celebrate my mom's birthday. We made reservations, but it turned out not to be necessary as the place wasn't busy when we came in around 7 pm (on a Friday night). Nonetheless, we were graciously greeted by the host and quickly shown to our table. The evening went well by and large. The best part of our dining experience here was the complimentary champagne they provided us as their way of helping us commemorate the occasion. Not to say that it overshadowed the food and service, but who doesn't like free champagne? Our server was on point and was even gracious enough to remove a cocktail from our tab after my mom determined that it wasn't to her liking. The menu had a good array of food offerings, wine, and cocktails. The ambiance of the restaurant was also intimate and actually reminiscent of several places I dined at while in France. My parents and I certainly enjoyed our meals, particularly my mom who savored every bite of her steak frites. For me, the side of whipped potatoes was the highlight of my dining experience; superb and delicious beyond description. In all, this place proved to be a good venue to celebrate my mother's special day. For Bistro Le Roux boats good service, menu offerings, food quality, and atmosphere.

We came here over a year ago and got some flavorless scallops but we decided to give them another chance. This time I got a medium rare steak but when I cut it open it was bloody, completely raw and inedible. The waiter brought me a new dish, which was nice, but if that’s your most expensive entree ($40) it should be cooked correctly. The French dip was tasty but nothing to write home about. We won’t be back.
Natalia P — Google review
Fresh bread. The short rib was cooked just right with incredible flavor. The steak frites, as always, amazing and cooked perfectly rare to my liking. The mussels and oysters were definitely on the small side, but delicious. If you’re visiting Denver, or even if you live here, come check this French restaurant out!
Bailey M — Google review
The food is good, but the service is horrible. We were brushed aside throughout our entire dinner. The waitress didn’t even introduce herself to us, she would just stand by our table side without asking us anything. A normal waiter would ask “would you like to start with a cocktail/ or what would you like to start with, etc”. We basically had to figure out what she wanted to ask us each time she came to our table. We felt ignored throughout our dinner time here. The food is amazing at Le Roux. Their cocktails are mediocre. You are better off ordering your favorite mixed/classic cocktail or a glass of wine, it would be better than their specialty cocktails. The whole experience was ruined because of bad service. We got the scallops and the short ribs, they were both spectacular! However, I wouldn’t visit again because bad service overpowers good food.

The restaurant has been serving delicious BBQ since it first opened its doors in Denver in 1998. With five locations across Colorado, Brothers BBQ is highly recommended for anyone looking to savor some authentic barbecue flavors. The Capitol Hill location is particularly praised for its friendly staff and top-tier food quality.

This was a delivery order so I can't speak to Service and atmosphere. They do have a great buy 1 get 1 deal without it it would of been WAY too expensive. The brother Sandwich was good but not as big as you would think for the price. I wish it would of had more coleslaw. The fries were nice. The beans were very tasty. The Mac n cheese not so great. It was bland and really disappointing . Still waiting to try the banana pudding but it looks good.
Lucile W — Google review
We gave Brothers BBQ two tries to see if they could redeem themselves the second time and no cigar. The first time we got the brisket and it came out super dry and was not seasoned at all. Very plain for the money I spent. Second time around we got the nachos with pulled pork and asked nicely to put the BBQ sauce on the side. When we got home to eat them, the chips to meat ratio was non existent. For every 4-5 chips there is a small portion of pulled pork. There was HARDLY any cheese. Barely covered the top at best. I am disappointed and had to add cheese from my own supply to make them bearable and not so dry. There was not any jalapeños like there was on the picture. Usually 3 strikes and you’re out but I’m only giving them 2. The Mac and Cheese was also dry and just the top had little cheese.

Definitely gotta try Brothers BBQ if youre in the Denver Colorado area. I just UberEats their BBQ ribs and was delightfully surprised at how tender and just down right delicious they are. The photos salad and banana pudding was a hit too.

Brothers BBQ (Delivery via Uber Eats) Ordered delivery through Uber Eats and was pleasantly surprised; it arrived quickly and everything was still warm! I got the pulled pork with mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, and cornbread on the side. At first glance, the food looked a little bland, but don’t let that fool you; the flavor was absolutely on point. The pulled pork was tender and flavorful even without sauce, but paired with the sweet BBQ sauce? Incredible. The mashed potatoes were honestly my favorite part; so flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The mac and cheese was super cheesy, which I loved, but it was a bit too watery for my taste and lacked some of the depth I usually look for. Still solid, though. The cornbread was soft and tasty, a great little addition to the meal. Overall, I was super happy with the pricing for the quality and quantity. Definitely recommend if you’re craving some solid BBQ!

If you're lamenting Denver's lack of good BBQ, this is the place for you! Their burnt ends are to die for, and the beans are great. Anthony was an awesome server!

Not quite Texas BBQ, but hands down the best I’ve found in Denver. The meat is always tender and flavorful (I typically get the pork and brisket) and honestly you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. They have six house-made sauces that range with any base you would want (mustard, vinegar, sweet, spicy, etc) I love being able to mix and match depending on what I order. Friendly service and consistently good food make this place my go-to when I’m craving BBQ in the city.

Love the food and have been eating there for years, unfortunately they keep rising there prices and can't afford to eat there any more. When I first got to Denver hot links were 14.99 lb (thats even shown in one of the pictures, and one picture shows 19.99lb) now it like 24.99 lb. Won't be going until they lower the prices back. $10 increase on one item is insane. Owners must be out of touch with how much people actually are willing to spend. The taste does not justify the price.

Pho Duy Denver is a bustling and casual pho specialist located at Federal Boulevard and Kentucky Avenue. The new, larger space offers a modern dining experience while serving up heaping bowls of pho, along with iced coffee and boba teas. The menu features a wide variety of options including rare steak, brisket, tendon, tripe, flank, marinated rare steak, shrimp, Vietnamese meat roll, and a vegetarian bowl.
Amazing service and delicious pho!!! Our server (possibly the owner?) was SO friendly and attentive - all the workers were very kind and quick. Egg rolls were a delicious starter to share. We were driving back from a long hike, and the pho was perfect to warm us up - broth was hearty and comforting, and the bowl was loaded with meat and spices/herbs.

Great food and incredible value. I had the pho with rare steak, brisket, tripe, and tendon. The broth was rich, layered, and deeply comforting. Ask for the chili oil to add just the right amount of heat. The lychee boba was refreshing and fun alongside the meal. Even on a cold and rainy night the line was out the door, which tells you everything you need to know. They also offer a cash discount, which is a nice touch.

A large bowl of pho for $16 came with a package of thinly sliced rare meat, the vegetables and bean sprouts looked sketchy, the bowl of pho was dirty, not sure if it was washed or just rinsed 😂 I asked the waiter to bring out the cooked bean sprouts but they completely ignored me. I finished the large bowl of pho for $16 as if I had not eaten anything. Owner try to max max profit but they total wrong I will never go back here 😁I have eaten at 3 pho shops recently, Pho Duy is the worst in this street! I will never see it again 😁👌

We have been here during family vacation and looking for Vietnamese food . We ordered beef pho, fried rice,Bun Bo Huế, hu tiêu gà khô, and Thai dessert. Just the fried rice is not too salty, the rest we could not finish because they are too salty. The Thai dessert is more like jelly dessert because no hint of durian and just can jelly. We not recommend this place if you are looking authentic Viet food.

Crab cheese wontons, bbq ribs and pho - SOLID bowl of pho one of best I’ve had in Denver, I gave 4 stars due to the wontons, there was hardly any mixture in them
Kristin K — Google review
Food was good- service wasn’t the best. My boyfriend placed a pickup order over the phone, and he was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. 15-20 minute drive over there, but he still had to wait another 15 minutes inside the restaurant for the food. I’m not sure if he had paid an extra fee for pickup, but he waited about as long as a walk-in. They also forgot the spring rolls- so he paid $43 for just two small pho bowls. Pickup does not seem to be worth the price here.

The Fainting Goat Pub is a cozy Irish bar located in Capitol Hill, offering a relaxed atmosphere and a rooftop patio with scenic views of the mountains. Despite its name, the pub doesn't feature goat-themed decor but instead provides a casual setting for enjoying drinks and snacks.
A group of us took a trip to Denver from Atlanta and when we heard about this bar we of course had to come check it out. They have a loft upstairs that’s catered to Falcons fans. Atmosphere was amazing and so were the people we met from the owners to the regulars. Our server was nice (I wish I remembered her name) and the food was really good. You HAVE to try the buffalo chicken rolls. 10/10. We will definitely be back if we are in Denver again. Thanks for a great time!

Great spot to stop in for a night cap. We stayed around the corner at the Hostel, so the location was convenient. I got the hazy IPA on draft every night. We got the 12p to 2a burrito. It was okay. I would recommend overall. Good people and good bartender.

Didn’t have food this time but love their potato skins and chicken sandwich. Chill bar seating as well as a roof and extra seating upstairs. Overall an easy pub with friendly staff.

Food was pretty good! Nicer quality pub food than mostly anywhere I’ve been. The few floors are really nice, too. The outdoor possibility is awesome. Just one thing that threw me way off. I was there a few weeks ago for an event, and when it was time for everyone to home, one of the employees was pushing us out, and specifically saying that “go home and shoot a porno, it’s time to go home.” That is verbatim what he said. Tall white guy with a beard, the employee was. Strange to say the least. Nice all around but maybe get more normal, less out of line employees

High strung/super anxious guy missing teeth was bartending and kept loudly telling me to "calm down" because I was asking him questions/talking to him about an overcharge (overcharges happen. No big deal). I wasn't yelling. Wasn't rude. Simply inquisitive after he had a seemingly negative interaction with a coworker that was trying to clarify things for him. Wings were mediocre on top of that. Def won't be back. (I don't even write reviews bro)

It was a super good experience over all. Drinks came quick, food came quicker. The pretzel was incredible and the tots were Tetris shaped. It was all super good, and super cute. A divey little place, but in the absolute best ways.

I came to Livingston for a quiet little getaway. My husband Rod and I came to see the BEAUTIFUL Yellowstone!! THEN we stumbled upon the Fainting Goat Pub and I met Alex and her margaritas. Now I’m literally googling how to fake my own death in Tulsa so I can live here forever. They are that good. And the Shepards pie… DROOL!!! I would fight a grizzly bear for another round. Alex, if you’re reading this, I love you. If my husband’s reading this, mind your business (and i’m moving)

Great place to get really good food and a drink. We had planned to visit after axe throwing right down the street. We had passed by but never went and soon wished that we had visited earlier. Great food and great service. Really nice to sit up roof top and look out to the West. Relaxing and our waitress made sure that we wanted for nothing. Inside had lots of character but the draw for us was the roof top. Can't wait to go back and enjoy it again.

Latin American restaurant
Dim sum restaurant
Pan-Latin restaurant
SuperMegaBien is a trendy and cozy hotel restaurant located in the Ramble Hotel in RiNo. It offers a unique dining experience with Latin American plates served on dim-sum-style carts. The restaurant is known for its rich and varied array of dishes, many of which are inspired by Mexican cuisine. Chef Dana Rodriguez, who grew up in Mexico, creates succulent family-style dishes using whole Colorado lambs and chickens paired with fresh-made tortillas.
A perfect place to splurge on flavor. The tapas options came out quickly and in fast rotation. Definitely recommend the meat dishes.
Naoshad Z — Google review
Overall a great experience. I am Colombian and any Latin place that loves authenticity has my heart. The fact that this restaurant had so many dishes from all of Latin America was absolutely wonderful. We ate and ate and ate. And when we thought we were done we ordered plátanos. Because who doesn’t love plantains. We ordered the papaya salad, ceviche, arepas, pork belly, ropa vieja, and the pan de queso. The food was lovely. The ceviche was light and flavorful. The ropa vieja was tender, and had great flavor. The pork belly mole was so good! However, the arepas were not my favorite. As a Colombian, I expected them to be a little more traditional. But unfortunately I could mostly taste almond flour. Same thing for the pan de queso. Instead of that chewy cheesy texture you get from the tapioca and fresh cheese, we got a crumbly type of pastry with a strong almond flour taste. Outside of these two items, our experience was wonderful. The Dim Sum style brought unexpected yet welcomed flare and it is very allergy friendly.

The food is incredible here. The patatas bravas are some of the best potatoes I’ve had! The steak was delicious. What I was most impressed with the service. Our server, Amanda, was so kind and attentive. She help explain dishes that would work with my allergy’s and was super helpful and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to go back!!

A very good spot for Tapas and some excellent main dishes. Highly recommend the ceviche, Ropa Vieja, croquettes, and the chicken leg main dish. High quality ingredients with plenty of flavor, and a nice ambience as well.

great spot with latin American dumplings. service and atmosphere are nuts, but the food is just okay. honestly, I'd come back for the drinks and small bites, but would definitely not plan to come here hungry. order the bee's knees!!!
Kenny C — Google review
This cool little spot is connected and technically right next door to the Ramble hotel. They best known for their Latin inspired dim sum or small plates. They offer a few large plate options and some sides but you are definitely going for the small plates. The way it works if you choose dim sum is your wait staff will come around with several options and you get to choose what you would like to try. This experience gives your table several options and we have a few must try recommendations. The Albacore Tune Aguachile, Pork Wings, Ropa Vieja, Sope de Cassava and Ensalada de Papaya were exceptional. It happened to be a birthday celebration and we ordered the Media Luna de Limon and Tarta de Palomitas for dessert and the Tarta de Palomitas came out as the clear winner. If you haven't given SMB a try add it to your list, especially for a date night or large group gathering.
Ilheis R — Google review
4.5/5. Super-mega-good. All the food I got was very delicious, the server was great, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the entire spot. They pride themselves on being a "Latin American Dim Sum" establishment. They will even bring the cart around if it is busy enough! The menu is small - but all the options are very flavorful and have a lot of care in their presentation. The portions are good. I left very full after getting 2 small plates and 1 large plate. Drinks were also very delicious from what I've had The only thing holding me back from a 5 is the pricing and the 3% add on charge they put in the menu. The food is delicious - but it was roughly $55/person with drinks (drinks are easily $14-$16 a pop, and while good, are not worth the price). Its just a tad bit too much for what you get in my opinion. Going during happy hour to have $2 off small plates would be a really fantastic option I'll keep in mind in the future. But that isn't what keeps this from being a 5/5. The bigger disappointment is the trend of the service charge on top of your bill. I'm just against this whole thing in general as it just really promotes being decisive. Just lump the 3% added charge into the food. This charge literally has a note next to it saying "3% charge due to the rising cost of staying in business" or something like that. This is usually an automatic 4/5 for me when restaurants do this. And your server gets a 2-3% less tip from me - because I'm not playing that game of tipping the restaurant over 20% on the meal. Overall, I hope to come back here again for happy hour and when I'm not looking to get some drinks. Hopefully they get rid of the service charge and I'll consider bumping to a 5.

Beckon offers a unique dining experience with ever-changing seasonal menus and chef's counter seating. The restaurant opened in 2018 to much excitement, offering an intimate setting with only 17 seats where guests can watch the culinary magic happen in the central kitchen. The eight-course tasting menu features exquisite dishes like squab, foie gras mousse, and langoustine.
Truly one of the best tasting menus I've had in a few years. I've eaten all over the world at many Michelin star restaurants and this one is working hard to create something different. I love a husband/wife team, so much skin in the game. The food was incredible, well seasoned, so many places lack salt it's crazy. You're left feeling completely fulfilled, wanting to come back and all expectations exceeded. Wow wow wow. Every detail has been thought about. In addition to the incredible food, the gorgeous design by the team at the restaurant is impressive. Bathroom tile, exquisite. Music is perfect along with the perfect lighting. Extremely attentive staff with an absolutely fabulous wine list. Take the time to schedule a pre or post hang at their bar (Major Tom's) next door.

What an incredible experience. We did the chefs tasting menu with cocktail pairing for my boyfriends birthday & it did not disappoint. Loved how so many ingredients were from their garden. Sitting at the table watching the chefs do their thing was awesome. We will definitely be back for every season

Very upscale experience in more funky RiNo neighborhood. Arrived a few minutes early and guided to wait in a fancy tent out back. While they have interesting beverage pairing options (cocktail, NA, wine), opted to go alacarte and had some well crafted cocktails and a lovely bottle of wine. Food was really good and inventive for the most part, but several dishes came in quite salty. We were offered an optional wagyu supplement towards the end but were pretty full so declined.
Mrinalini L — Google review
I did some research on restaurants with tasting menus in Denver (since I'd be in town dogsitting) and I kept seeing rave reviews about Beckon. It turned out to be as good as people said. They offer a twelve (thirteen with an add-on, which I didn't do) course tasting menu in an eclectic and intimate setting. The service was outstanding and the food was amazing. My favorites were the duck, leek risotto and bread & butter (which sounds weird, but it was phenomenal). Since I went alone, I opted for the chef's counter where I was able to observe the food preparation. I sat next to three ladies (one named Katie!) who were also there celebrating a birthday. This was quite a splurge, but definitely worth it for such an enjoyable evening!

It was really a great experience from the service, to the chefs counter, to the fantastic food, wine and cocktails. Staff really made an effort and just watching the attention to detail and orchestration was fascinating. Highlights were the mackerel, the egg custard with roe, black cod, duck breast, and the A5 wagyu with Japanese whisky. Still, the other dishes also had great flavour, texture and presentation. It was a really memorable experience and we really enjoyed it.

I’m so thankful that this restaurant is in our city. I appreciate the passion and presence the servers offer in this lovely little gem. Not only did they accommodate very specific course preferences they accommodated a dairy allergy without issue. I enjoyed the wine selection, I appreciate the variation and textures and flavors. The dessert course was my favorite.
Jo — Google review
Beckon is unrecognizable from what it once was. This restaurant used to have soul, purpose, and story under Chef Duncan—every dish felt like a chapter in something greater, a conversation between chef and guest. Now, under acting head chef Hunter, it’s a cold, arrogant shadow of itself. Hunter runs the kitchen like a dictator, with zero warmth and zero interest in hospitality. When I asked him a simple question about the inspiration for the menu, he brushed me off like I was wasting his time. At a counter this intimate, that kind of dismissive, rude attitude is inexcusable. The food mirrored his approach: technically correct, but hollow, joyless, and forgettable. It was food without heart, food without meaning. The only saving grace of the night came from Josiah and the new sommelier (whose name I regret forgetting). They were genuine, engaging, and clearly cared about making the experience memorable. Josiah in particular radiated curiosity and joy—until Hunter appeared. Then it was obvious: Hunter was annoyed by their energy, as if kindness and enthusiasm threatened his control. Beckon is no longer a place of connection or storytelling—it’s a sterile, ego-driven machine. It has lost its magic, its identity, and its soul. Unless Hunter is removed and the restaurant finds its way back to the spirit Duncan built, Beckon is nothing more than a hollow brand trading on its past reputation.

Listen, I’m not going to grandstand. I don’t have the vocabulary to properly discuss the quality, I forget the names of most of what I had last night. But if you’re willing to spend over $300 per person, just do it, don’t question it. Easy recommendation, the tasting menu was excellent and full of deep flavors, the non-alcoholic beverage pairings were exquisitely crafted and enhanced the experience so much, and every staff member I interacted with was kind and friendly (admittedly in the context of speaking with a high-paying customer while juggling 17 tasks each and trying to do so perfectly, don’t expect grandma’s warmth but it was more than satisfactory). In short, live is too short, the bread was to die for, the drinks were excellent, so just book it. Quick note to explain the atmosphere and staff: the sommelier misgendered me at one point (I’m trans, called me sir rather than madam) and upon noting it gave one of the sincerest apologies I’ve ever received on this point, and flawlessly pivoted back to the topic at hand. Professional across the board.

I recently enjoyed a drink at Death & Co during my visit to Denver, and it was a fantastic experience! The ambiance is inviting with dim lighting and plush seating, creating a sophisticated yet relaxed vibe. I ordered an amaretto sour, and it was perfectly balanced, showcasing the skill of the bartenders. The attention to detail in both the drink and the overall atmosphere was impressive. If you're a cocktail enthusiast or just looking for a great place to unwind, Death & Co is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their creative menu!

We were super excited to visit Death and Co for the first time and it did not disappoint. They had an extensive cocktail menu to choose from with unique options for every taste (There are even creative mocktails that have the same thought put into them as the normal cocktails). The food was also excellent and I would recommend enjoying alongside the drinks. The atmosphere was vibey and loved the music. Staff was attentive and friendly. Could t have asked for a better first visit and would love to return or visit their other locations around the US.
Christian H — Google review
Death & Co inside The Ramble Hotel has always been one of Denver’s crown jewels for craft cocktails and late-night ambience — a place that blends art, intimacy, and culinary theater. Walking through those doors feels like entering a different tempo of the city: dark, moody, elegant, and humming with quiet confidence. I’ve been here countless times, and while I still consider it one of the city’s best bars, this visit left me with mixed impressions that deserve an honest review. Let’s start with the highlights: the service team, led that night by Carey, Madi, and Sophie, deserves recognition. Carey brought a warm professionalism that fits the atmosphere — calm, poised, and quick with suggestions. Madi was kind and attentive, remembering our previous visits and drinks from before, which shows genuine hospitality. Sophie added energy and personality to the table, balancing charm with speed. Together, they kept things flowing even when the place was packed, and their teamwork made the evening worthwhile. The cocktail program, as always, was phenomenal. Each drink felt like a small experiment in precision: layered flavors, balanced acids, and presentations that would make any mixologist proud. Death & Co continues to set the bar high for craft execution — it’s why locals and travelers alike come back. Whether it’s a riff on a classic or something completely inventive, the bar program alone still earns its reputation. Now for the low point — and unfortunately, it’s a big one. The sushi dish featuring fish topped with popcorn and strawberries was, to put it bluntly, obnoxious. It felt like shock value for the sake of novelty. The ingredients clashed instead of complementing one another, leaving a confused and overly sweet finish that overpowered the fish entirely. It wasn’t bold or avant-garde — it was simply a distraction from what Death & Co usually does best: refinement and restraint. Whoever conceptualized that plate overthought the artistry and forgot about the diner. It was obscured, unnecessary, and out of place among otherwise thoughtful dishes. Beyond that, there’s an area where Death & Co could improve: attentiveness and customer loyalty. We’re regulars, and we make that clear every visit. A small acknowledgment — even a simple “welcome back” — goes a long way in building repeat relationships. Service felt slightly detached this time, more transactional than warm, and that subtle energy shift changes the experience. For a venue of this caliber, a bit more awareness of returning guests would elevate everything. In sum, Death & Co Denver remains a must-visit — one of the most stylish, consistent, and technically impressive bars in the city. But for all its elegance, it could benefit from a return to hospitality fundamentals: connection, attentiveness, and a reminder that loyalty is earned not through theatrics, but through care. A near-perfect night dulled only by one truly bizarre dish and a service tone that needs recalibration. Still, I’ll be back — hoping next time it’s the Death & Co I’ve come to love. What’s their excuse? Who cares.
Adam H — Google review
I went to The Garden on the rooftop of Death & Co which is what I am basing my review off of as I could not find somewhere to review the Garden itself, however, please know, that the Garden upstairs has a completely different menu which is cocktails and finger foods. The options are not bad but the menu downstairs definitely looked better but the ambiance upstairs is nicer (if you like sitting outside and enjoying the sun, of course!) we got the cucumber Collin's drink and it was kind of disappointing for the price point and experience, for $16 I think it was a drink with some syrups and alcohol with a lime. Not sure how they add the cucumber portion to it but I was expecting something with muddled in cucumbers and mint etc, basically, it didn't really meet the expectation of how the menu described and how bougee this place appears to be! I would have loved to try the food and drinks downstairs it seemed to look better. Oh yes and the service upstairs is ordering at the bar and drinks brought to your table with first come first serve seating. Despite an average experience, I would go back to check out the restaurant downstairs (the actual Death & Co)

Oskar Blues Grill & Brew, originating from Lyons, Colorado in 1997, gained fame for canning its craft beer and distributing it widely by 2002. The LoDo location offers a modern saloon setting with live music, a long bar, several TVs, and an array of OB brews and other craft beers on tap. The menu features Southern-influenced American eats that pair perfectly with their highly drinkable Dales Pale Ale.

We stopped in mainly for food after the ballgame. Chase was an excellent host, knowledgeable and helpful. He explained their specialities and was extremely quick with our drinks, appetizers and food. We had catfish bites for an appetizer and I had their burger topped with pulled pork and sweet potato fries. As a boomer, I am inclined to say that the food was a bit more expensive than I expected, but this is downtown Denver. I do wish they would raise the prices for the food by 10% and remove the “Staff Living Wage” added charge. The service was fantastic, the food was good and the vibe was chill & relaxed. I am pretty sure we’ll be back.

The food was very good. We ordered chicken fried rice and chicken bulgogi. The service needs improvement. Mainly from the waitress. We arrived at 9 and were seated by a nice gentleman. We must’ve waited a good 10 minutes before a lady came to take our order. We already knew what we wanted as we originally were going to order it to go. The waitress made it feel like we should’ve came earlier because the kitchen closes at 9:30 she said, which is fine because again, we already knew what we wanted. We put our order in and waited another 30 minutes for our food to come out. I think we were checked on once during that waiting period, but I had to stop the waitress to let her know we were not served water and although she had set side dishes out and rice, we didn’t have water for a good 20 minutes. She did apologize but I think having water is important, especially if you give the cups already and some sides. We received better service from the nice woman who brought us our food from the kitchen than the entire time with the waitress. The nice lady made the rest of the night feel pleasant because she checked on us two more times. I wished she had been our waitress because I would be a much happier customer and would’ve definitely given a 5 star review.

Went during their "happy daytime hour" ($23/person) on the weekday. The limited menu still included the usuals and was a great deal for the amount of food we were still able to have! Staff was attentive and the decor, music, and layout were reminiscent of Korea. Highly recommend!

I feel bad for those that have had a less than stellar time at this place. We arrived on an early Saturday evening with a party of 7. No reservations. They quickly kept into action to create a space for us. Our server was very attentive and had jokes, which made it all the more fun! We ordered the B tier and a few rounds of drinks. She kept an eye out for when we were looking like we needed to reorder and we never ran out of food until we wanted to stop. I appreciate the service we received and the food was delicious! We will be going again!

We drove almost 2 hours to try this place last night 04/21/2025. As soon as we were sat down our server (older lady with glasses)toss our sides on the table a bit aggressively then slammed the water container right in front of my friend, we brushed it off. Shortly after I told her we will put the meat on the pan as we didn’t like some meats touching, she still proceeded to empty out the meat plate on the pan. again, brushed it off. i then found something in my rice that wasn’t rice consistency or look at all, we called her over to let her know and she was rude and dismissive telling us it’s just the bottom of the rice - the thing is growing up in an asian house hold even the bottom of our rice isn’t snot consistency or look. the only time it’d get like that is when it starts molding and the moisture makes the bottom of the rice pot watery. i held the rice part i was trying to tell her and she snatches it out of my hand and throws it and tell me to eat the other rice bowl then. this was SO disrespectful to snatch something out the customers hand when it was the concern and then to be so dismissive trying to gaslight us into thinking we didn’t know anything. we then called a different server to call someone in management we can speak to since the original server didn’t do so. everyone from then on was really apologetic and was kind but the original server came back to our table during this and denied ever snatching anything out of my hands and denied being dismissive so PLEASE view the cameras as she was lying about what she was saying, i know there was a camera pointing right at our table. As far as the management offering a different rice bowl no other resolution was offered to us - we had to ask for a different server and no deduction on our bill for the thing in our plate or the way we were treated by their server. we did finish the meat we ordered as we didn’t want to get charge extra considering they offered no bill deduction to begin with. It’s pretty upsetting, but we’re thankful for the other server with black hair who ended up making sure we were taken of while we finished the meats we ordered. I wouldn’t recommend coming here until there is something done about their customer service. we still tipped the second server $20 as she was kind and was more apologetic than the original server.

I wish I could give this place 5 starts because their food tastes so freaking good, but the service is so bad. If you're going to put a 2 hour time limit, can you check my table to fill our drinks and see if we need anything. The first time you order will likely be your last because it takes them 25-30 minuets to check on you again, and when we order anything else, they forget almost every time. Last time, the server kept forgetting my drink. Yes, they kept water at the table, but my cup still had bbq on the outside. I just couldn't use it. The server gave us someone else's meat, and i was tempted to take it because we never got to order again, but i told her it wasn't mine, and before i could order, she took off. If they could just attend to the tables this place would be way more popular. The prices, the food, and the atmosphere make it worth it. Please, though, if you read this restaurant owner, we need better service. Attend the tables better. That will keep us coming back. I rarely come because I come hungry and stay hungry for a while. Also, if you read my review, please give me a follow. I review restaurants all over the country and have since 2018.

Rise & Shine Biscuit Kitchen is a cozy spot known for its house-baked biscuit sandwiches, coffee, and craft beer. Established in 2010, this Denver staple has three locations near Sloans Lake, Wash Park, and Lakewood. The menu offers affordable options under $10 with a focus on simple yet elegant breakfast biscuit sandwiches named after towns in North Carolina. Visitors praise the flaky and moist biscuits that come with various fillings and flavors.
Delicious! This was a recommendation from a friend and it did not disappoint. We basically went in blind but the menu is pretty straightforward. Simple but I’m confident every option is fantastic. I went with the chicken biscuit sandwich and I would absolutely get it again. The interior gives friendly neighborhood breakfast spot vibes, which was a nice welcome for our visit to Denver.

The place is very cozy so not much room to sit, but If you like biscuits you gotta stop in. They make a different biscuit everyday. You can build your own biscuit sandwich if you want. Omg. I wish there was one closer to where I live. The coffee was delicious as well.
Cassandra M — Google review
Best biscuit I ever had, crunchy/flakey and not dense like others I’ve tried in the South. The ratio of biscuit to ingredients was perfect. The egg was fluffy and buttery. Their bacon was well-cooked and medium-thickness. Their hash browns were super crunchy. Great spot for a quick filling biscuit sandwich before a hike. The service was quick and friendly.
Dragana S — Google review
Holy cow! Came for the prices. $6 for a chicken biscuit is how it should be. Unfortunately the food wasn’t what I was hoping for. Biscuit was underdone so it not only had a slightly raw flour taste to it, it was just pale and not flaky or buttery. Good potential though. Chicken was fried beautifully but didn’t taste like it had been brined. Overall a sort of bland experience in my mouth. Reviews have some pictures of biscuits that look a bit more golden on top so seems to just be an issue of being consistent. Would love to come back to try another option or try the Chapel Hill again. Very surprised to see that they don’t have a simple sausage egg and cheese option! Overall a good spot but just didn’t hit the right notes on my first visit to give it five stars!

If you're not going here for biscuits, you're wrong. I was craving a fried chicken biscuit and instead of going to DBC (which is great) I thought about trying somewhere new, and I am so glad I did! Not only was this biscuit sandwich amazingly delicious, Jan was so wonderful and friendly as well. I will be going back for biscuits and small talk with Jan weekly! 12/10 would recommend!

We were recommended to check out this restaurant as it was local to our Airbnb and it quickly became the breakfast spot for the rest of our trip. The biscuits here are North Carolina themed, and every single thing we had there was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend just getting a plain biscuit with butter or jam, just to experience the textures and flavors on their own. It truly is the best biscuit I have ever tasted. Besides how delicious the food is, the ambience and the people were so friendly and inviting. There is a large porch area where you can eat (it is outdoors but dogs are not allowed in the restaurant or on the porch) and there is also indoor seating. It felt like we were in a movie here, it was so wonderful. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by for some breakfast or brunch and say hi to Rocky the Robber!

We went here multiple times during our trip to Denver. The tomato pesto biscuit we had on one of the daily biscuit of the day specials was superb, wish we had gotten more of that. The everything biscuit was decent but the original, those are so good. It was fluffy and buttery, we devoured those biscuits as soon as we got them. There has always been a long line each time we've visited but it moves pretty fast. We'll come back on our next trip to Denver.

La Fiesta is a long-standing Mexican eatery that has been serving up traditional dishes for almost sixty years. Located in a spacious and unassuming spot, this restaurant has become a lunchtime haven for locals seeking hearty platters of Den-Mex cuisine. The orange vinyl booths and vintage neon sign exude a comforting and welcoming atmosphere, making it an ideal dining choice during the pandemic.
Came in 45 minutes after close tonight not knowing they were closed. They welcomed us and served us with no issue. Awesome team at La fiesta. Will be back!

Stopped in for lunch on a weekday; one of four tables at that time. Service: Staff were all prompt and server was very friendly, attentive and courteous. Food:Had chili rellenos (crispy)… smothered green. Chili was awesome, but the rellenos were terrible (filled with some kind of salty processed cheese like Cheese Whiz?). I will return to try a different dish next time, though. Atmosphere: Pleasant, clean —but you might want to ask for a table away from the speakers, because the music was annoyingly loud where I was seated. Parking and access: Ample parking. Difficult access to enter restaurant for anyone who uses a wheelchair, walker or cane.

The only thing I enjoyed here was my rice and beans. The first time. My order got messed up and they took my plate back and the rice I got the second time was super hard and crunchy. My family and I all went and not one of us really enjoyed our meal. Very unimpressed n cheap.

Not a fan the chips and salsa were ok, I ordered a single chile relleno plate and received what look like a mini chimi with cheddar cheese and some strips of chiles. Maybe that’s the way the make them here in Denver, I’m from Arizona and they make them with a full chile…it would be helpful if they had pictures…

I just came in for a late lunch and got the appetizer nachos which are very filling and very good. The 2 for 1 margaritas are great also. Love the family owned very friendly service. Will definitely be back many times to try even more food which I imagine are phenomenal.

Heard they won some awards for their green & red chilis and their rellenos and it definitely lived up to it. The service was very quick and friendly. I really enjoyed everything I ate and don’t really have any complaints other than that I wish they were open for dinner more nights than just Friday and Saturday a week. Can’t wait to bring my friends back here. I’m honestly surprised I hadn’t heard of this restaurant until this year despite them having been open since the 60s since I grew up here. I ordered the Esteban combo (relleno and soft taco) with green chili, and a house marg. Some of the best green chili i think I’ve had in CO.

The breads and puffs are to die for. They are fresh and very delicious! Kids and I feel in love with each and every one we sampled! Love love loved it!!!! We tried Custard, Red Bean, Rich Milk with Rum Raisin, Tropical Fruits, Tuna Tomato. We went around 3ish and by then most of the bakery products were sold out! One word of advice, if you are looking for something specific go early as they are open just till 4.

March 2025 Stopped here on our way to brunch down the street and grabbed some treats to eat on the way. Loved my peach tart (with a WHOLE PEACH HALF in the middle!) and my companions loved their pastries as well. This place was awesome and I can't wait to come back again!

This is my first time trying a Japanese bakery, and I must say, it’s a delightful experience. The bakery itself is charming, and the pastries are just as delicious as those found in other Asian bakeries. However, what truly surprised me was the curry beef bakery. I had initially expected it to be a disappointment, but it turned out to be an absolute delight. Whoever conceived the idea of beef curry bakery must be a culinary genius. If you ever find yourself at this store, you absolutely must try their curry beef bakery.

Cute place. Now I have really high expectations from bakeries. I wanted so much more. It's not their fault. I had my original melon pan in Japan. I was so hoping this would be the same or even close. It wasn't. It was definitely a brioche bread texture. The cookie coating was so crumbly it just fell off the top when you tore a piece off. It was slightly lemon flavored. Not enough though. I've said it before and I'll say it again if it is lemon flavored there should be a nice crisp tartness in the bite. Maybe pipe some fresh lemon curd or lemon cream on the middle of that. The croissant was good. My daughter said her beef curry party was amazing.
Debra J — Google review
This place is awesome!!! All the treats are unique, tasty, and a crazy good value. The beef curry is crispy, fluffy, and full of flavor. The peach is bright and creamy and tastes fresh as hell! The cherry might be my favorite, a wonderful combination of sweet and tart. You can't go wrong here. I take every chance I can to swing by, grab pastries, and head down to Stella's to get some work done.

Pastry chef Keturah Fleming is known for her ambitious croissants, including the signature croissant muffin made with a secret rolling technique and various toppings like chocolate pistachio and sticky toffee pudding.
Quick afternoon snack. Service was excellent, dining outside was lovely and the food tasty. We had the Quiche Loraine and the side salad had pickled onion and thin slices of fennel And orange slices. Total Yum! The Chile Verde and Ham n Cheese Croissant. The cappuccino was also delicious. Will surely return.

Relaxed place for brunch and breakfast! Very cute interior and an outdoor patio. High quality pastries and bread all made in-house from scratch. I recommend their breakfast sandwiches, coffee drinks, and for fun Bloody Marys served with mini croissant. Bacon was thick and crisp. They provide full service at the table so you can sit down and enjoy your meal if you'd like. Servers are professional and on point. I was greeted immediately and sat outside at my request. Rio took my order and made great recommendations. I felt welcomed and enjoyed my meal, the check was presented as soon as I requested it. I noticed quite a few to-go orders being picked up. Ordered a few pastries to go for later - lemon raspberry croissant, chocolate eclair, and a mango pop tart. Deelish.

I first visited back in 2023, and since then they’ve moved locations. We woke up early to grab some fresh baked goods…and it was so worth it. The croissant breakfast sandwiches were absolutely delicious. Definitely worth the early start! Excited to go back and try even more breakfast items.

Pastries were delicious and service was great! Next time we want to try the chocolate croissant french toast. The plain chocolate croissant isn't very sweet at all so I bet it'll be amazing as french toast.

Laid back, somewhat trendy vibe, indoor and outdoor seating. A bit pricey but the food did not disappoint. I ordered a build-your-own breakfast Sammy, choosing duck confit, bacon tomato jam, Gruyere, arugula, and an over-hard egg, on a croissant. Perfectly cooked egg, super tasty duck, and the bacon tomato jam gave just the right zing. Can't wait to go back and try other items!
Elizabeth D — Google review
Expensive, yes, but excellent. The Benny has a bit of citrus and acid in the hollandaise, the pork has crisp edges, egg perfectly cooked and the croissant toast they should like market as a separate product. I think the salad is a great accompaniment and way to lighten the dish. Good for soaking up leftover hollandaise and egg too. Getting a croissant also was a bit excessive but again excellent pastry. The shatteringly crispy top is great but often you then get a light weight crispy only croissant underneath. Not so here where thicker and rich butter base awaits at the bottom with two full length batons of chocolate. I wish it was cheaper, but I have no complaints about the food or service. Always enjoy a chance to stop by for bfast.

This was so fantastic. The bakery items were good but the Hash was the best I had. They use this rosti fried potato version and corned beef. 4.5/5 - Super solid spot! I love the interior and decor. The drinks were great, but a bit expensive if they are outside of the classics or happy hour menu. Food is great and worth the price. This place has the best cocktails!! Our server Kelsey was so kind and took great care of us, she recommended the London Falling. It was incredible, it was a little foamy and tasted like an orange creamsicle. It was like candy. I would definitely recommend it. I did not try any other drinks because this one was so good. I love the one big ice cube in the drink, very fancy haha. The interior of the place is super cool, modern, and hip. Great place for happy hour in the highlands area.

Really bad service and equally bad drinks. My friend and I started at the bar and asked to move to a table, which we were granted. One of the wait staff quickly approached us to tell us that we should not have been seated at a table and asked us to leave within an hour. We agreed to, after which he approached us three more times (before the end of the hour) to insist that we leave prematurely and/or to give us a timing count down. Really bizarre experience and the drinks were pretty vile on top of it all. Will not be back.

Owned by Dave and Lisa Bryan since 1997, this old-fashioned establishment offers booze bargains, burgers, sports on TV, and games like pool and shuffleboard. Classic dive bar with great ambience and people. You could get come here and lose track of time for the rest of the day, which is great. The food is nothing special. Sub-standard bar food even. The burger reminded me something you could make at home, the fries are frozen etc. But you don't come here for the food. You come here to watch a game and drink away your sorrows.

Pretty solid neighborhood bar. I heard someone rave about the burger so when I was nearby I stopped in. Lunch time on a weekday and it was surprisingly busy, bar stools filled and most tables too. The cheeseburger was good, basic tavern burger, no frills. Mine wasn't smashed and seared nearly as well as some of the pictures, minimal mallard/crust, no lacey edges, but was still good. If cooked a little better I bet it would have been great. Ultimately, I would eat it again if I found myself there, but wouldn't make a special trip or stop for the burger.

This is the definition of a dive bar, and I mean that in the best possible way. The bacon Swiss burger was one of the best burgers I’ve had in Denver, and definitely the best bang for your buck! Bonus, they are also dog friendly and have a great patio.

Candlelight Tavern was a fun place to stop for a few brews. Prices were good for Denver and overall I thought the beer selection was good for a dive bar. Didn’t try food but will next time. I'm a big fan of gin, and they make an incredible negroni! Seriously, one of the best! I bought one of their dry gins and saw that they have a pour room in Rino. Gave them a chance and it didn't disappoint. The pour room is rough yet inviting and the staff was amazing!

Really fun - stopped in to meet some friends and was blown away by the drinks. I’m a big craft cocktail fan and was especially impressed by Frank’s seasonal gins (he let us try spring and summer). Chill place with laid back vibes. Not stuffy or pretentious like some craft spots tend to be.
Lisa K — Google review
I really, really, wanted to like this place. Craft distilleries are something I love, and was hoping I'd be picking up a new bottle to add to the collection. Sadly the whiskey just didn't live up. It was very grain forward, what you might call crafty. Notes were more funky and a little odd, with not a lot of sweat flavors or even the more herbal one's you might get from a rye. Some of the drinks looked good, but they use flavored tonics without really pointing it out, and my wife couldn't finish her G&T she disliked the combination of flavors. Still, a fun atmosphere, and a cool place that just didn't quite hit the mark.
Ben E — Google review
Came in for a friend’s birthday and was not disappointed. The bar has a stunning display with bottles that are too eye catching to ignore. You can take one home for a comparable price to a nice bottle at your local liquor store - but with significantly better taste. The cocktails are crafted - so know you’ll wait a minute or two longer than your regular gin & tonic, and it’s worth it. The espresso martini, pictured here, was rich and fluffy…and I may not be able to have one elsewhere anymore because it was delectable. Also pictured is the Denver’s Ready - another winner in my book. Overall, the location is well lit, great seating options, and there is always a food truck on the street. Definitely recommend!
Liv R — Google review
Wow if you want amazing and unique drinks this is the places. The bartenders are very friendly and helpful when deciding what to choose from the creative and delicious cocktails. They make all their own ingredients from scratch. If I was able to handle more drinks I would have wanted to try them all. They now have their own whiskey along with gin and vodka. Can’t wait to come back and bring friends.
Liz W — Google review
I'm sorry to give a 1 Star review but that's all I can give. I visited The Block to try their spirits. All of the chairs at the bar were full (Maybe 6-8 chairs) but I was the only patron sitting at a table. I scanned the menu and decided on doing a flight. The bartenders, 2 of them, were behind the bar talking to each other. I sat for 12 minutes, watching them talk to each other, drink their own drinks, make 2 drinks for men sitting at the bar and they never came to get my order. Maybe I was supposed to go to them but there was no indication of needing to do that to make my order. I finally left and went to Deviation, where I did a flight and a cocktail and bought several bottles and spent $270. Maybe, as a 62 year old, I don't fit The Blocks' target audience. In any case, there are over 100 distilleries in Colorado. I've been to about 60 of them. I will now count that I've been to the Block, but I won't be back.
Michael J — Google review
I've been to The Block 10-20 times and I've never had a cocktail I didn't love. There is something for everyone on the menu, and the cocktail descriptions are helpful (and funny at times). Service is welcoming and the patio is dog-friendly and allows outside food. The bar is beautiful, especially the bottles' branding/packaging. Try the flight of the four house made gins!

Chook Chicken is a modern and easy-going corner stop that offers charcoal rotisserie poultry and hearty sides. The chicken was very good, and it's great comfort food at an affordable price. It has an open floor plan that makes you feel like you're just hanging out in someone's kitchen, and it's also close to Stanley Marketplace so you can easily pickup your order.
First time here. It was highly recommended by a friend who has been going for many years. I'm sad I didn't know about this place sooner! Chicken is fantastic. Salad could be a meal all by itself. The mixed vegetables side along with the mashed potatoes and delicious gravy mmmm. Cucumber soda!!! What? Coconut soda!!! What? I tried both. Now I'm craving it all.

Good customer service, self service water station, clean bathrooms. We ordered the rotesserie chicken and wings, along with the fries and Mac and cheese. The rotesserie chicken was juicy, cooked well, and not overly oily. I wish there was some bread with it, or garlic sauce. The sauces there were okay. The wings I did not like, but my partner did. The fries were good, and the Mac and cheese was a perfect crunchy and flavorful, I'd order it again.

Omg this place is amazing. This review is meant for my Celiac family. The menu online offered a lot of GF options. So, I decided to go to the restaurant to ask about their safety protocols. The person at the register explained that they have a full allergy protocol that includes using separate equipment: cutting boards, knives, gloves, etc. (She was unbelievably friendly and knowledgeable). I ordered the chicken salad sandwich (the one with the cherries and garlic aioli). Be still my beating heart! It was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The gluten free bread was fantastic. It wasn't dry. It didn't fall apart. If I hadn't just had a lengthy conversation about protocols,I would never believe that bread was GF. I will be back and will be bringing my friends and family. The chicken salad was high quality. Like I said, one best sandwiches I've ever had. I also ordered the potato wedges, fantastic and the cucumber salad (highly recommend). I will be dreaming about this meal. It was so good that I talked to the chef afterward and told her how much I loved the meal and thanked her for offering GF options. Environment: this is a cute little cafe right on the corner of Pearl Street and Louisiana. Pro tip#1: let them know you have celiac. They will be happy to tell you about their safety precautions and will label your food.

Food was 10/10 and everyone there was super nice and accommodating! The cucumber side salad was surprisingly good and everything just pairs so well.

Chook was absolutely AMAZING! My husband and I split the Chook for two and it was a TON of food. The chicken is so tender and flavorful, the mashed potatoes are heavenly, the charred veggies were divine, and the green goddess salad was mouth-watering. I mean, I could not have asked for a better dinner OR a better value. I also appreciated the very kind and caring service we received! I do not know the young lady's name that helped us but she was a ray of sunshine and made our experience even better. Highly recommend this place for fresh, healthy, filling food!

This is not the place you need to be excited about. We had 1/4 dark chicken meals with some different sides and everything was pretty plain and lacking flavor. I would say the worst part of the meal was Mac and cheese. It was utterly disgusting. Boiled pasta with breadcrumbs on top( bland, lacking any sort of flavor)…just gross. I was craving Mac and cheese when I ordered it but honestly, this offering ruined my perspective of Mac and cheese all together. We also got a side order of potato wedges….I kinda liked them but they were a little undercooked for my taste. Chicken itself was OK. I think I would have gotten a better chicken meal from a King Soopers deli for around $4. Here we spent over $30 for 2 meals with 2 sides. Restaurant itself was clean, not busy at 2pm when we visited. Cashier was friendly. Food took about 15 minutes to get to our table from the time we ordered it. Have to order at the counter BTW. No one will come take your order at your table. We didn’t know that at first and we’re just sitting and waiting. This was not experience I would repeat myself but if you guys just moved into the neighborhood and well accustomed to microwave tv dinners, this place maybe something you will like.

After living in the South, I have really missed quality neighborhood rotisserie chicken. I finally tried Chook a few weeks ago and I'm so grateful for this neighborhood staple! The chicken is moist, flavorful, and fresh. Every side I've had has been delish and a healthy serving. I love the beet salad and the cucumber soda. Service is great in person and when ordering takeout over the phone. It's so nice to have this consistently tasty and casual place with healthy and comfort food options. The menu is so delicious, we often over-order then happily declare ourselves "chooked" lol. No complaints here!

Denver Stockyard Saloon - The Yard Bar is a laid-back establishment that offers a selection of drinks and hearty pub food. Situated in a historic building at the heart of the old packinghouse district, it becomes a popular spot during the annual National Western Stock Show. The second-floor space provides an interesting view of the evolving neighborhood, attracting cowboys and locals alike. Visitors praise the delicious food and friendly service, with particular highlights being the patty melt and welcoming bartender named Jesus.
Came for the rocky mountain oysters (couldn’t not try these while in Colorado). Great atmosphere, great service, great food and drinks, generous servings. A fabulous place to spend an evening with friends.

Went on a weekday, no crowd at all. Definitely more of a bar than restaurant. The cheese curds were really good and the nachos could've fed 4 people by itself. The dessert was really well made.

Their taco Tuesday special is a lot of great food for a great price. $6 for 3 crispy, ground beef, cheese and refried beans with a side of beans. Friendly, professional service and fast delivery of the order.

Great little place and awesome service! Food is great and large portions! Wings were great, steak sandwich looked killer, the bloody Mary's were great. Nice and easy vibe, relaxed, and great little patio. Dont trust Google on the address, and this place isn't permanently closed, and it's no longer downtown. The colfax address is accurate

Good price for fantastic food. I was told the waitress that helped us out was the families first employee.. we see why they kept her. She was awesome.

New spot on the west side, a transplant from down by the stockyards. Bar food, but done very well. Great friendly service and a good atmosphere. If you like a good old school bar, this updated place is great, give it a shot.

While the construction going on around the place made it seem iffy, I'm really glad I went in. Great food, service, and atmosphere. I had Rocky Mountain Oysters and Steak Sandwich. Would recommend both.

Restaurant
Officers Club, located near the former Lowry air force base in Denver, offers a nostalgic ambiance reminiscent of classic officers clubs. The menu features well-crafted traditional American cuisine with a focus on seafood and steaks, including highlights like crab cakes, halibut, and French dip sandwiches. The establishment strikes a balance between upscale dining and a welcoming neighborhood vibe while offering surprisingly friendly prices for the quality of food served.
Small, but very good menu. I went for the wild mushroom grilled cheese and tomato bisque because it sounded good and a bit lighter than some of the other options. Both the soup and the sandwich lived up to expectations. The desserts sounded good especially the key lime pie, but I'd already had enough to eat. Service was fast, friendly and attentive. The space is attractive and modern. The outdoor area looked attractive, but it was cool and comfortable inside on a day in the 90s. They do have unsecured Wi-Fi available for customers. Between on street parking and the lot, there's plenty of parking especially along the sides of the hangar.
Jim C — Google review
First off, we only found this place because of the Denver dining passbook, and we’re so glad we did. The service was impeccable, everyone was very welcoming, courteous, and professional. We started with the bursts, which is usually a go to for us, this one was elevated in that it included marinated tomatoes and cantaloupe, which were delicious. Their menu isn’t massive, but they have plenty of options, I enjoyed the prime rib and my wife enjoyed the salmon risotto. We are not alcohol drinkers and so always appreciate when there are mocktails available, and this restaurant has several specialty non-alcoholic drinks, the one we tried, the blood orange bubbly, was delicious. This restaurant gives special occasion vibes but we didn’t feel out of place even though we were dressed slightly more casually. Wheelchair accessibility: we didn’t see any accessible parking spots where you didn’t have to cross the parking lot including a traffic lane to get to the entrance. The bathrooms are spacious with grab bars, but the bathroom doors are incredibly heavy. It looks like it would be a simple adjustment to change the closing force which would greatly improve the accessibility. There’s a variety of seating options and seemed to be plenty of room to navigate around the restaurant.

The AC was CRANKING inside making it freezing cold. Sat outside to try to avoid that but all the fans were on full blast. The food is very overpriced in my opinion. $12 for a wedge salad? Especially one that looked that basic? The markup on the wine is wild too - $12 retail bottles for ~$50!! Was disappointed that we went for a birthday, put it in the reservation note, even mentioned it to the server, and nothing. Not even a candle in some whipped cream! 😂 Expensive food AND stingy it seems. I wouldn’t ever go back.

Man, just gotta take a minute to shout out one of my favorite spots. We’re discerning diners and this place delivers a very cool consistent experience. Everyone on the staff is always dynamite and the vibe is really good. I especially recommend the hybrid indoor outdoor seating. Great daily specials too. The bar is super warm and inviting just an all around gem.

We’ve been here many times the past few months. Wait/Bar staff are always super friendly. Happy hour prices are great! Joey was an incredible server and did not steer us wrong on the menu options. Cool vibe too!

We had a very unfortunate experience at Officers Club. I came in and spoke to the hostess in person on 8/19 because I had some specific needs for a reservation on the 20th. I explained that I needed a table for 5 people that could accommodate a wheelchair, and was looking for a restaurant with a quiet table because I was bringing 3 elderly family members who are hard of hearing. The hostess told me they would hold the table just to the right when you come in, since it was low enough that we could pull a wheelchair up to it and is the quietest corner of the restaurant - this was a perfect solution for us, and we were looking forward to our reservation. When I arrived for the reservation, there was a man working at the front and I checked in and let him know that we were meant to be seated at that particular table for those reasons. He told me someone was already sitting there. No apology, no attempt to find a solution that would work for us. He told us we could either wait for that group to leave (and told us that they had been there a long time and did not appear to be wrapping up) or sit at the large booth in the middle of the restaurant. So really, the only option was the booth - I had 3 very elderly guests with me, we could not stand for an undetermined amount of time to hope for the table we had reserved. The host seemed inconvenienced by the fact that we had a wheelchair, and even said something to us about needing us to "keep the wheelchair out of the way" if we were going to sit there since it would be in the walkway. So we took my aunt and her wheelchair to the far side of the table where he wanted her to be. As expected, the booth table was too high for us to pull the wheelchair up to, so we had to physically pull my aunt out of her wheelchair and up into the booth, which was difficult and could have been dangerous. No one offered us any help, or acknowledged the huge inconvenience that we were working around after being assured a specific table that would accommodate us. We then waited an exceedingly long time to get any service. I don't know what was going on - there were several staff members standing near the bar seemingly doing nothing, but it took probably 15 minutes before anyone even came to our table to greet us. Finally someone came over with water, but we probably waited another 10 minutes before our server actually greeted us, took drink orders, etc. And as expected, the booth was INCREDIBLY loud. No one at our table could hear anything anyone the others were saying. This was not a surprise, because the hostess that I originally made the reservation with had told me that table was typically quite loud because of it's location in the middle of the restaurant. So basically I made a reservation based on 2 specific needs, was told they had the perfect table and would be happy to accommodate us, and then was ultimately put in the worst possible table for our group, with no apologies. I'm super embarrassed that I chose this restaurant for our special occasion with our family.

Our server, Dean, was incredible. He was open and honest about how the rain impacted reservations and when we ordered our drinks, told us that the bar was a bit behind. I appreciate having that notice(I don't like surprises) so we knew that it would be a minute. Dean answered our questions about the menu and was so fast with ketchup and clearing our plates. He was lovely and personable but knew when to check in on us and when to leave us alone. He was the perfect server. Our food was *chef kiss* amazing. Everything was delicious, incredible and ultimately this was the best way to end our visit to Denver.

Lovely patio and great service from David. The grilled artichoke is amazing!! Now the downside - the cheddar biscuits seemed like they were freshly made at some point, then frozen and reheated. Luke warm and not fluffy or fresh. The risotto was undercooked. The drinks were fabulous and the wedge salad with steak was delicious albeit tiny. Overall, pricy for food that should have been better.

Nestled in a charming space adorned with peach walls, Taste of Thailand Restaurant is a delightful Thai eatery that has been captivating the taste buds of locals since 1994. Founded by Noy Farrell, a talented chef and cooking instructor from northern Thailand, this cozy spot on South Broadway offers an array of traditional dishes like satay, stir-fries, and curries.
The food is excellent and made by the same people from the old location near Swedish hospital. Some of the charm of the old house is missing but the food is excellent. They still offer free "grow your own taste of Thailand" plants

The food was extra delicious and seasoned to taste. We tried the Pad se ew and the green curry lunch special. Anne our server was wonderful and we had an excellent delicous lunch! The Thai tea was sweet and plenty of chili oil and dry spice to dial in your perfect spice level for the day🦄. Thank you kindly, we will be back!

this place is great!! super tasty and it seems like all the staff really care about the restaurant. I appreciated the separate gluten free menus they had. the black sesame sticky rice was amazing as well!

The food was okay. I think it's more a mom & pop shop. If I lived in the apartments across the way, I would probably frequent this place more often. But I definitely would not drive here for the food. They were quick with the food so it didn't take long.

I have eaten here before and the food was just meh, but thought I’d give it another shot. I showed up about fifteen minutes before they closed, and asked if they were still taking orders to which they said yes. I ordered a Pad Thai thai hot with no peanuts. While they did not add the peanuts like I requested, the pad thai also had nothing else except for a sprinkling of bean sprouts. No tofu, no green onions, no tamarind sauce (or any sauce), no lime. There was no flavoring or seasoning. It was just noodles fried in a lot of oil, and of course no spiciness at all. I had just gotten back from a long delayed flight and was hoping to have at least a good meal. I was really disappointed. Next time if you don’t want to cook the dish I ordered just say you’re closed instead.
Claudia H — Google review
They were able to make me a Dairy Free Thai Tea (beyond excited about that!!) it was delicious!! The soup & peanut sauce with that came with the lunch special was delicious. We tried two different kinds of curry, I liked them, but thought the consistency was a little thin. The noodle dish was delicious. They have outdoor seating and the staff is very nice.

This is my go-to Thai restaurant for a reason! Everything I've ordered has been absolutely delicious. The portions are huge and the prices are more than fair. Not only is the food amazing, but the staff is always so friendly and kind, and the restaurant is incredibly clean. I also love how securely they pack everything for takeaway, it's clear they care about their customers' experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!

We ❤️ this place! It has all the "greatest hits" you know from Thailand as well as unique offerings from Northern Thailand. Portions are reasonable and they have a phenomenal budget lunch special with a super flavorful veggie soup, carrot chips with peanut sauce to dip, and a curry and noodle entree. It's one of the best values in Denver, and just so yummy. They share herbs from their garden, too!

Nestled in the vibrant LoHi neighborhood of Denver, Lady Jane is a must-visit bar that perfectly captures a laid-back California vibe. With its chic modern decor featuring wood accents and lush greenery, this inviting space is adorned with bright pastel colors and retro breezeblocks, making it an Instagram-worthy spot to unwind. Open from 4 p.m., Lady Jane offers an impressive selection of unique cocktails alongside light bites at reasonable prices—like their delightful gouda cheese board for just $12.
My my my what a great experience at Lady Jane we had tonight! Ethan was our server and was extremely knowledgeable, we like some pretty adventurous libations and we weren’t disappointed one bit. One drink tasted like a Caesar salad and one tasted like a deviled egg, no joke. If that wild of a cocktail isn’t your thing then trust me in saying that if they can make a great deviled egg cocktail, any thing there will be good

I can’t think of one note for the cocktails service, or atmosphere at Lady Jane. Every sip was perfection. The team are total pros. The room is a delightful space that just feels good. If you’re in Denver, make this your regular spot. If you’re visiting Denver DEFINITELY make a trip to lady jane. If you love great cocktails it’s not to be missed!

Had an amazing time here! My wife and I celebrated our 1st anniversary with some post-dinner drinks and it couldn't have been better. Our waitress was so nice and helpful with explaining the menu and suggestions on drinks. She even brought us a secret drink menu when we expressed interest on a specific type of booze we were interested in, but inexperienced in how to combine it into a good cocktail. Side note: Whoever was in charge of the music playlist was absolutely killing it.
Isearle — Google review
It was our first time at Lady Jane. We had a great time and the drinks were phenomenal. I think I got the Bussey? I don’t see it on their menu on the website but it was something like that. The cheese plate was simple and divine. Drinks are slightly expensive, but exceptional. I can’t wait to come back!
Drew M — Google review
Over priced and overrated. My cocktail was a coffee passionfruit cardamom mix that was not good. I tried to drink it and sipped on it for an hour but could not finish it. I passed it to 8 other people at the table but no one liked it or wanted it so I couldnt even give it away. When it came time to pay we had a group of 8 people and we all had been drinking some of us bought food, some bought 4 drinks and others only had 1 drink. They would not let us pay by item. There was a 20% auto gratuity added and when my friend walked to the bar to ask if we could pay individually they said yes to come pay at the bar and then said no the server would come to our table. The server then came and told us we needed to write down the card number and ammount for each card which caused more confusion. The frustrating part was that they clearly had the ability to go around the table and let us pay for what we ordered or let us pay at the bar the server just did not want to do that. It would also have been very helpful if they told us this before hand. We all left pretty unsatisfied with the service. There are so many great bars in Denver I would give this a miss next time.

I had the most amazing time during my visit to Lady Jane’s on Halloween! My girls and I started our Halloween night here and stayed longer than planned just because of the atmosphere and service — don’t get me wrong, the drinks were good too 😆. The hostess at the door was also super courteous and made me feel welcome upon entry. I am not new to the experience of being one of few minorities in an establishment and I felt welcomed and accepted. Not to mention they were very welcoming to LGBTQ+ individuals and even had an exceptional themed drag performance! The drinks were very well-made but are a bit on the pricey side (welcome to Denver). The service was exceptional and our drinks were refilled immediately after we finished. The frequency of table check-ins were much appreciated. And thank you to the host that made me feel okay after I dropped my drink and the cup shattered everywhere. I kept apologizing and felt bad, but I was told that it happens all the time. I ordered another drink of course!
