Chicken wings restaurant
American restaurant
Bar
Fire On The Mountain is a casual counter-serve restaurant known for its delicious chicken wings, sandwiches, and comfort food. Despite being a popular spot for kids, it maintains a cool vibe with simple seating and a covered outdoor patio. The restaurant takes pride in using high-quality ingredients such as hormone-free, antibiotic-free, cage-free chicken to create classic-style wings with rich buffalo sauce. In addition to meat options, they also offer vegan substitutes like seitan and cauliflower wings.
Honestly some of the best wings I’ve ever had! Even though the wings are smaller (because they use chicken w/o steroids), it’s worth it because of the flavor! I got the “El Jefe” & “Cilantro Lime” flavors for the sauces and wow they were absolutely delicious! Beware the El Jefe flavor is SPICY!!! It’s made with capsaicin so it’s really spicy even for spice lovers like myself, but I’d eat it all over again. Highly recommend to come here on Tuesday for some good wing deals (and $7 burgers!), but there’s deals every day of the week too.

The crew working here is fantastic, everyone of them helps you as the customer without being asked. They walk by and see a drink needing filled, they do it, or they see you’ve cleaned off the delicious wing sauce from your fingers and face, they take the stake of napkins and wing bones away :-) This was my first visit, so I tried the Spicy Peanut as the server noted it was a fav - it was great! Not too spicy (I do a half and half at Santiago’s- so that’s my spice level) and they made it a true wing sauce instead of a peanut marinade (which is what I’ve seen at some other wing shops). They gave a lot of outdoor space, so go when the weather is nice - which is quite often here in Denver :-)

Fantastic chicken sandwiches and fries! Good selection of tap and canned beers, including some NAs. Long wait for tables but got a seat at the bar.
Thor Y — Google review
Wow, incredible wings, fries and beer. Great atmosphere, vibes and great people. Will def visit this place again 10 out of 10! Garlic lemon pepper and buffalo blue was outstanding!
Cozz — Google review
The vegan gyro is fantastic. In my opinion, this location offers more consistent and superior flavors compared to the Wash Park location.
L L — Google review
I used to eat here pretty often a couple of years ago, but the quality seems to have changed a bit since then. We ordered pickup recently, and I asked for my wings extra crispy, but they ended up soggy and not very warm. On the bright side, the sauce was flavorful and generously applied, which I appreciated. However, the wings were smaller than I remembered. Overall, the sauce was the highlight in both taste and portion, but perhaps dining in would offer a better experience.
Selena R — Google review
One of my favorite wing spots in Colorado. Lots of options for sauces with different heat ratings. I always come for the Extra hot and El Jefe, which both are very spicy and well made. Their rasberry habenero is a must try as well. Not crazy hot but different from the normal mango habenero that most other places carry. They serve local beers on tap and have a good selection of other drinks. The bar is small and indoor seating is comfy. Outdoor covered seating offers more tables. They have weekly specials on drinks and Happy hour is Mon-Friday 3-6p.m. I highly recommend coming in, again, the wings are bomb!
James B — Google review
This place was pretty awesome!! Located in the highlands neighborhood, it's a cool little spot that feels like a good neighborhood hang, with great food and a nice drink selection! The wait staff was awesome! Very attentive and helpful with all the questions we had regarding the menu! My son and I are indecisive and like to try new spots and let the server just surprise us with our food selections. They didn't disappoint today!! We started with the Buffalo FOTM fries, which are fresh cut fries covered with Buffalo sauce, blue cheese crumbles, and green onions. The fries were hot, crispy, and fresh! Next, the waitress selected the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich and The Julio. The Nashville chicken sandwich was a huge hand-battered breast covered in Nashville Hot oil, house made pickle, and served on a fresh brioche bun! We got it with tater tots, and they may have been the best tots I have ever had!! So crispy on the outside. Fluffy and potato-ey on the inside and perfectly seasoned with a house seasoning that is just the right amount of saltiness and a touch of sweet!! They were incredible! The Julio is a Grlled chicken breast, bacon, fried jalapeños, housemade queso, Lettuce, Tamato, Red onion, and a garlic aioli served on a Ciabatta roll. The sandwich was flavorful and tasted fresh. The bread was toasted and still soft and east to eat, which isn't always the case with Ciabatta. It came with fresh cut fries, and they were seasoned in the same house seasoning as the tots, and they were so good!! We also tried the vegan wings with the raspberry habanero sauce since we had never had a vegan wing before, and they weren't bad. I've never had anything like it, so I have no idea if they were a good version or not. To me, they were like a fried meatloaf cube. But the sauce was very good. Spicy with a touch of sweetness. Overall, we were pretty happy with our experience and would definitely recommend giving it a try!

Asian fusion restaurant

Event venue
Ace Eat Serve is a lively and popular spot located in an old garage, offering a vibrant atmosphere for both kids and adults. The menu features delectable Pan-Asian dishes such as Peking duck, soup dumplings, curried mussels, and pork potstickers. Not to be missed are the Korean-influenced chicken wings and crispy beef with broccoli. Additionally, the restaurant provides complimentary doughnut holes sprinkled with five-spice sugar for kids' meals.
Foods are good! Happy with all 3 dishes that we order. Great service, staffs were so happy! Brussel sprouts, Tiger eyes chicken (Tomyum flavor), Chicken and rice in clay pot.
Pi K — Google review
Ace has a great selection if you are going in a big group. I love the spicy pork ramen, and any of the wing options. Sometimes dishes are too salty but that’s the only issue with the food. Tons of great appetizers to share Brunch is great on the weekends too!
Brett — Google review
This was a fun place to get a little zany with the kids for a Friday when we were too busy to make dinner at home. The ping pong is of course a ton of fun. But the food was surprisingly good too. A reasonably ambitious gluten free menu too. Have fun!
Nathan B — Google review
Been coming here since it opened about a decade ago and always impressed with how Ace is able to continually reinvent itself. When it opened they had about 6 different baos when that was brand new in Denver, they may have been the first to offer those. When they limited the amount of baos years later, they had the rice pillows entrée that was one of the most pleasurable food items I've ever had. Last night was my first visit this year and the menu is more inventive and satisfying than ever. I had my usual Tiger Wings to start, they were the spiciest yet but still on point being meaty and tactfully served over crispy rice noodles that are more than welcome to stick to the wings as they add great flare. Next I had the Taste of Ace with a side of coconut sticky rice. This is a gourmet dim sum sampler of 4 quality items including potstickers which so many restaurants offer lately but hold on, what sets these apart is their own style of dipping sauce which shines as a welcome departure from the usual soy based sauce. The other items are even better and are powerful competition compared to other Asian fusion restaurants. And what the sticky rice lacked in flavor didn't matter because the authentic earthiness is the point, think of Pai Mei in Kill Bill when he smells the bowl of plain white rice with great appreciation - allow yourself the same pleasure of savoring simple, authentic ingredients. It's a little more than plain white rice anyway so the hint of coconut and what looks like black sesame seeds should aid your experience. I ALWAYS get their hallmark cocktail that echoes the present Chinese zodiac animal but they were out of The Year of the Snake but no matter, like the food menu the choice of cocktails is the best ever! I know good cocktails, I've had many hundreds of different kinds, probably over a thousand different ones but the 4 I had last night are well above average and don't rely on simple but rather a good, well thought out meld of ingredients. Service is as great as ever. Asian fusion is a very competitive niche and Ace has always and still does have the ability to serve match point against the toughest competition and win.
Denver N — Google review
Mitch, Erika, and Katie made our visit an absolute blast. We had a group of 35 and they absolutely provided 5 star service from check in, to service, and helping us buy souvenirs. As visitors we totally get why this is a local hot spot.
James T — Google review
They have a fantastic and dog friendly patio! Honestly we were surprised how good the food was; especially the lamb Szechuan dumplings and pork belly bao buns. We will definitely be back!
Natalia P — Google review
Amazing food and drink selection here! The beef was cooked perfectly and was a big portion of beef. The two cocktails I tried were both beautiful and tasty.
Mark J — Google review
Some of the best Asian fusion I’ve found in Denver. The wings were super spicy but delicious. My favorite dish was the beef noodles! But everything was well seasoned and cooked well.

Piper Inn is a unique dive bar that has been a popular spot for over fifty years. Known for its wings, the joint offers a blend of American and Asian-inspired dishes, with a focus on Cantonese specialties and mouthwatering wings. The Chinese-style chicken wings are fried in a wok and tossed in a special sauce, giving them a distinct flavor that has earned them the title of 'Best Wings in Denver' by Westword Magazine.
Excellent hot wings! Great french fries! It's a bar, so it's loud. Other than that, we will DEFINITELY be back! We visited again! Super good folks. If you love hot wings, don't pass this place up!

I’ve been coming here for some time and never once dissatisfied. Tonight’s choice was a burger & fries. The best! The beer is always perfectly cold & service by Lexi topped it all off! She’s on top of her game! Thank you 👊🏼
Guillé T — Google review
Hadn’t been here in quite some time and was a bit underwhelmed this time around. Servers were a bit more concerned about interacting with their regulars than helping new people, had to wait quite some time just to get our first drink order in after sitting down. They were a bit more attentive after that though. Food-wise we ordered the buffalo fries which were super tasty, good value, and had a ton of grilled chicken on them. We also ordered their wings, medium buffalo and Asian. The wings are crispy and meaty, but I was disappointed with the Asian sauce. I think it may have been an off-day but the dominant flavor in the Asian wings by far was fish sauce. The regular buffalo wings were very good. In general this is a good dive bar with fairly priced drinks and a good happy hour. Will probably give them another try in the future, but this time around it was a bit disappointing.
Ahmed S — Google review
This is the kind of dive bar you love finding. It has a traditional dive bar vibe but also strangely offers better than average Chinese food. Hamburgers. Yep, egg foo young with three different meats... Okay, wasn't expecting that one. And it was good. I had the half order and pretty much got filled up. My buddy had Cantonese chicken and said though it was spicy like Cantonese chicken should be had really good flavor. I wouldn't expect a Michelin star but for the price it was pretty amazing. If this place was a little bit closer to my house I would have found my new hangout. If you're anywhere near here, this is definitely a good place to stop
Samuel C — Google review
I love this place! Been coming here for years. Food is great, beer is cold and the vibe is my kind of place. The wings are amazing! It gets pretty loud when there's a crowd or football games. It's one of my favorite spots in the Denver area. Shout out to the waitress and bartender, hustling their butts off taking care of everyone during Thursday Night Football.
Mike D — Google review
I've been going to the Piper usually twice per week since 2000. The ONLY complaint I have is about their "music" situation. Example: Sometimes when a real good song is playing on their in house music system, after I've been enjoying it for a few minutes, it'll cut off and be interupted by a different and lame suckie song.): As far as wait staff goes, I go their mostly when Tasha & Lexie are working 'cuz they're the best. (:
J W — Google review
It’s obvious this place has lots of repeat customers. The vibe is comfortable for sure. Our server was awesome. Busy. But took care of us. Good took some time. When it arrived fries were cold. Wings overcooked (dry) crispy and crunchy to the bone. Flavor was good. Maybe it was an off night. Wasn’t the worst meal I had AND it would take some arm wrestling for me to drop another $50 for that food.
Royal B — Google review
The atmosphere is excellent at Piper Inn. The walls are covered in cool stuff. I’ll undoubtedly be back, but maybe for lunch instead. My Buffalo chicken sandwich was good tasting, but was only two thin strips between the buns and sandwich fixings and wasn’t very filling. Waitstaff were unfailingly nice and helpful but were so inundated with tables that we couldn’t get a refill of water. Next time I’ll order something different and see if a different time of day yields more opportunities for hydration 😉

It's known for its indulgent burgers and thoughtful brews, offering customizable burger options alongside classic combinations like the Junk Burger. Spent the most lovely afternoon with a friend on the patio. The staff is friendly and engaging, food was generously portioned and delicious. Beer was great, they helped my friend pick the perfect IPA. They now take credit cards so that is an added bonus.

We were on the way to get a quick lunch we could take down at The zoo. I can't speak much to the service since it was takeout but the vibe of the place and the food were on point! The inside set up front to back really reminded me of the look of Mountain Sun brewing in Boulder with its wooden booths, laid back vibes and a place for live music. The food was awesome plain and simple. We ordered the burger which we were able to customize. This is important for us since my wife is trying to do what she can to avoid dairy while still having a good time. As a bonus we ordered the sweet chili wings were sweet (but not overly), massive and juicy and paired perfectly with their vegan ranch

We were visiting Denver with the whole family (grandparents, ourselves, my brother, and our 3 kids) and wanted to have a few drinks and snacks in a spot that was walkable from our B&B. This place hit the spot. The kids and I played cornhole for quite a while, and we had great drinks and food. Service was friendly and on point. We had french fries, burgers, and pizza and all were delicious. Will gladly come back to eat and drink here. Also, the marquee sign out front is great.
Katie M — Google review
Justin C took great care of our family. The Junk burger was the best burger I have had thus far on this five state tour. Two family members had pizza and likewise mentioned how good the pizza was. The six beers we tried (flight) were also very enjoyable. We will definitely stop here on our next trip to Denver.

Love to bring people here. A lovely walk to get there, great indoor and outdoor seating, and the food is delicious!! They also brew all their beers

Not everything has to be perfect to have a good experience! We had a party of 3 for lunch this past Sunday. We were having nice relaxed conversation and didn't realize our food hadn't been delivered. I finally realized something was amiss when the table next to us got their food before us. Before I could even bring it up, a manager came to our table and apologized our food was delayed and that they were working on it and it would be our quickly. Which it was! Then another manager also came over and apologized as well. The compensation they offered for the delay was more than fair, and was offered proactively. This experience shows that when a team are proactive in dealing with issues and acknowledge when an issue happens it turns what could be a negative experience into something that is a non-issue. All of our food was excellent! And we will be back in the future!
Tim S — Google review
So glad they re-opened in Denver instead of us trekking up all the way to Boulder and Mountain Sun Pub & Brewing (although those location is fantastic, too!). Expect the same, great staff and friendly service (some of their veteran staff in Boulder have come over to help build the team here), even when it is super busy (it was for us at 5:00pm on a Sunday). The menu is mostly the same -- all excellent food choices / appetizers, surprisingly amazing burgers, and stand-out house made chips. The jumbo wings are indeed jumbo. For IPA lovers, there is a great selection as well that mirrors the other locations. When we had to wait 40 minutes for our seating, and our food took longer than expected to come out (like...15 minutes), our waiter was so kind to comp our first round of beers. We honestly barely noticed the wait, but that was such a nice touch. If you want a great neighborhood joint with good local beer and bar food, there are few better options!
Kevin N — Google review
We had a large group celebrate one of my bestie's 41st Birthday last Friday. We couldn't have picked a better spot. Most of us are Colorado Natives and long-time fans of Vine Street. Also, most of us haven't been back since it's reopening. It's like it never skipped a beat. Both managers, Kevin & Asia, couldn't have been more accommodating for our large 18+ group. And our server, Leah, was second to none. She was so patient, professional and anticipated all of our needs. Not an easy feat with a large group. It was such an amazing feeling of nostalgia and an evening birthday celebration for the books. We will definitely be back. Thanks Vine St. Keep killing it! xo

Chicken wings restaurant
Chicken restaurant
CD's Wings is a casual eatery in Arvada that offers a variety of flavors for their chicken wings and fried food. They also serve beer and have TVs for sports enthusiasts. Customers rave about the deliciousness and consistency of CD's Wings, often ordering takeout from them regularly during the pandemic. The online order system is efficient and accurate, making it easy for customers to enjoy their tasty wings.
This place serves some excellent wings! They have several several to choose from. I had the garlic and Thai chili. We got the #2 combo with waffle fries (that were amazing as well!) Their wings seem to average around $1ish a wing where most places are at $2 a wing and you only get half the quantity. Definitely worth the trip if you are around the Westminster area.

Been told to stop by here many times. Glad I did friendly staff great food clean restaurant. The hot garlic and lemon pepper hit hard. The waffle fries are fire 🔥🔥. Highly recommend this place check it out.

Dang. We don’t spend $$$ on wings often, they rack up quick. But when the Bills are playing a big game we don’t care! We need wings! But super sad today. These might be the tiniest wings ever. $50 for 20 wings, mostly flats and seriously so tiny. Did we get the end of the batch? I’ll be ordering from Old Chicago or Wings n things next time.

Hello to all my Celiac and gluten-free friends today. Me and how my husband visited CD wings after for a gluten-free winged place and fries we found lately found it. The service was great. Our friend Diego helped us with his menu to tell us which one is gluten free. When the food came everything looked great but the wings were so small and I don't know if it was that time of the day but they were a bit dry. I loved the fries but they were a bit oily for my celiac stomach. We will definitely try them again and give them a another try

Had a family lunch at CD's wings, I got 10 bone-in wings with medium buffalo sauce and wow, so good. They buffalo was spicy but not too bad and the wings were perfectly cooked, juicy on the inside and a little crunchy on the outside. The combo came with fries, which were very crispy and delicious. Also, came with celery and carrots which were very cold and very fresh. Love it and excited to go back!
Nick G — Google review
Really wanted some wings for dinner and almost went to a chain before finding this place and WHAT A GOOD FIND! We got 5 different flavors (holy leftovers) and I love all the little customizations extra crispy, swimming in sauce, adding parm or lemon pepper, etc! I think we found our wing place! We also got the corn nuggets and okra and 10/10. We will be eating this for 3 days

The best wings in denver by a good mile. I was surprised by the crowd in this place when we got here and the wait time for wings was matching the crowd. However, the time for getting the wings was way quicker than they said and they came out perfect! The crowd led to a 10/10 atmosphere and the perfect vibes for ruthlessly digging into a plate of saucy wings. They weren’t shy with the celery or carrots either! The garlic Parmesan wings are next level, I am deeply looking forward to the next time I get out to Westminster. We got the fried zucchini and it was so much better than expected. The service here was fantastic as well, every single staff member I talked to was helpful and nice.

It's like they only take care of you when you eat in. 3rd time I pay for swimming and extra sessioning. No point of charging and not delivering.

Chicken wings restaurant
King of Wings is a laid-back establishment that specializes in chicken wings and hand-breaded tenders, along with a variety of craft brews. Founded by friends Evan Pierce and Eddie Renshaw, it started as a food truck before expanding to a brick-and-mortar taphouse in 2020. After overcoming a setback due to a kitchen fire, the business came back stronger than ever in 2023.
We've been enjoying King of Wings since their food truck days and it's so great to see that they have continued to grow and still offer consistently tasty wings and tenders. They have some of the best flavor sauces ( I really love their bourbon buffalo sauce but they're all great) and a good selection of rotating draft beers. The staff is always friendly and we've always had good service.

Well rounded spot for wings, sauces emphasize flavor over heat. XXX Hot is balanced and not indigestion inducing. Thai BBQ uses fresh ginger. Wings are par cooked and then flame grilled. No breading on traditional wings. Tenders are large and saucy. Cauliflower is a great starter. Also had parmesan garlic fries, salty and lots of umami. Servers take care of the whole floor, anyone will check in to make sure you are having water and a good experience with no high pressure sales tactics. Great patio to watch a sunset. Bathrooms clean and large. Great spot.

I’d been looking forward to this spot, and it did not disappoint. The wings were smoky, tender, and downright addictive—so good they made you want to savor every bite right down to the bone. The chicken was seasoned perfectly, bold but never overwhelming, and every sauce had the right balance of sweet, zesty, and flavorful. The Cajun cauliflower was a surprise hit—full of Louisiana flair without being overpowering. On top of the great food, the atmosphere sealed the deal. Everyone loved my Chicago gear, and I found out they put the Bears game on when the Broncos aren’t playing. Much respect to the Broncos, but I’m a Chicago fan through and through, so that made me feel right at home. This place is simply amazing, and I can’t wait to come back.

Long time passer-by, first time goer. Came to this GREAT restaurant on a Friday evening for an early dinner as a party of four. Was very impressed with the food, attentive service, and laid-back, casual atmosphere of the place. I always favored deep fried wings, but this place grills its wings and, wow, they are good this way too! Several sauces to choose from on the menu, and they also have chicken tenders if you're not into traditional wings. Other apps and shareables as well. Wings seemed a bit small, but maybe that's because they're grilled... I dunno. Good sized free parking in the adjacent parking lot. Overall a great experience and looking forward to return visit!

Awesome wings. Their name says it all! The wings are cooked to perfection and properly sauced. Grab a paper towel and beer from their great craft choices. Ask about the rotating sauce too. Clean restroom and nice sitting area. Servers are super friendly and kids are welcome. Don’t ask for celery or carrots! Oh, probably the best onion rings on the planet too.

Let me be very clear — this might be the best wing restaurant in Denver. And as someone who has traveled through many states, I can honestly say it might even be one of the best in the entire U.S. This is my third visit, and every single time I leave completely impressed. The wings are perfectly crispy on the outside but not dry at all — juicy and well-cooked on the inside. The sauces are amazing, and every flavor is truly delicious. The staff is wonderful, and I’m pretty sure the owner might even be working alongside them. You should definitely give this place a try.

ALWAYS FANTASTIC!!! The only wings I will eat in Denver area now. The sauces are made with love and truly delicious. Wings are cooked phenomenally. Great local beer selection. The owner is super nice too. 100% recommend!!!

The Best Pizza in Colorado! Yes, they are known for their wings….But walk in on Monday or Thursday nights for some pizza that will take you back to Chicago. I ordered the ‘Capone’ today. Enjoy the crowd, make friends in line, watch some football and be served by one of the Greatest Staffs in the industry. For dessert, have some of the best wings around! Wash it all down with one their great craft brews on tap. Go early-the secret’s out!

My wife ordered a pound and a half of wings to go today, they said 20 minutes. No problem usually but this time they gave us cold wings. Whoever the cook is today is clearly precooking the wings… and they are not shaking the baskets while cooking. One of my drums wasn’t cooked all the way… the skin was white, that’s just not the quality I am used to getting from Wing Hut. Especially because I recommend it to everyone I know. Been going there since they opened in 2003, and never had this bad of an experience. Maybe this is what we are supposed to expect? If that’s the case I will go to Wing Stop… never once got cold wings there.

They got a pretty good special during lunch! The wings are pretty juicy. Not the biggest pieces but they are definitely good. They are well seasoned, the fries are pretty good too. Told them to add some Cajun seasoning and sheesh it was really good with the ranch!
Jahdiel M — Google review
Atmosphere is nice. The seating inside is quiet, cooled, and comfortable. The seating outside is shaded, open, and quiet. Service is generally good. The food was not great. One of the wings had a smell to the meat, one wing had things sticking out of it like the feathers. Lemon pepper didn't have much of a strong flavor, unlike other locations I've been to. The mild buffalo was better and was dipped well in sauce, but the chicken itself wasn't flavorful. The appetizers weren't any better. Although the fries seemed seasoned, they weren't flavorful, and we're a bit overcooked maybe? The fried pickles didn't have much of a flavor to the batter. The ranch was okay. I expected much better because it's been rated as nunber one. I'm really disappointed in the food unfortunately.

** Came back a 2nd time...... still not better! First time visiting this restaurant off of a recommendation from a customer of my work place. The atmosphere was quiet, low music playing in the background. When I walked in there was no one eating. There were 4 people in the restaurant and all were waiting on their food. They were running a lunch special where you get 1/2 or 1lb plus side and drink for $11 or $17 respectively. It took me a minute to decide on what I wanted so I stepped out to take a call and then came back in. I ordered the $17 lunch special, 2 wing flavors and curly fries. I then waited while drinking some delicious Jones soda. Most people get indulged in their phone while waiting so I can see why no one notices that it takes 20 minutes for an order on average. 20 mins for a small restaurant with almost no one in the restaurant is unreasonable. If you have all the time in the world to wait for your food then this place isnt a bad place to eat. But if you expect your food to be served in a reasonable amount of time and for them to respect those with jobs to get back to, pass on this place. I hope they do a study on ticket times and do something to improve it. I stopped by a 2nd time to give them the benefit of doubt, and their service didn't improve! Do not go here unless you dont want your time respected! They dont respect your time! They act like it's normal to wait almost 20 minutes for 20 wings.
Snook S — Google review
Tasty food, good service, pretty generic wings. We had the 2-pounder with sides and 2 beers. Like most places that have way too many flavors, the wings are probably oven baked and then they just slather the finished wings in whatever flavor you pick. I had 'Buffalo Hot' and it was Franks's pretty warm. Again, no complaints on the food or the service but, alas, it was a $60 lunch with a modest tip. 3 stars for the service because it was just fine for fast-food level service. 5 stars for the atomosphere as they are at the end of a strip center and offer a little shaded outdoor area to wait for your food with a glass a beer and time for a smoke without anyone bothering you. I'd go back!

My son and I had lunch here for the first time today. The girl working the register was so incredibly nice and helpful. I wish I caught her name. Both the bone in and boneless wings are amazing! I love the fries with ranch sauce. Then we got the funnel cake fries these were absolutely delicious! I will definitely come back here we loved every second of our visit.

This place is fantastic! Great beers on tap and a wide variety of food on their menu. My wife and I had roasted brussel sprouts and garic wings. Food was cooked to perfection. I normally take pictures of my food to post, but we completely smashed it. To top it off, the staff is very friendly.

Freshcraft is a great place to go for some beers, and good, harder to find ones at that. They have a decent selection and number of them to choose from. If you're in Denver for an special occasion, consider this place. However, service is seriously lacking. Of the two times I've been here, I've noticed staff "seems" overly busy....all the time. It's hard to peg someone down to order. But, they're friendly enough. Tried ordering food once, it never showed up. Bummer too because the wings & fries smelled good. 4 stars because it's a slightly better than average place to go to. But, due to the expense (beers are expensive) and alooft staff, I'll probably go elsewhere. For as expensive as Denver is, especially downtown, I want service to match the prices they charge.
Kiefer T — Google review
Decided to try this place before a ball game as the reviews seemed pretty good. Everything was just ok unfortunately. I ordered the mussels HH app and they were just bland. I was really expecting more flavor from the look of the dish but was left severely disappointed. I didn't even finish them...I think I only ate 3 of them. My BF ordered the pork schnitzel and it was decent but man, I've had some great schnitzel in Denver so they really need to step up their game on that! Especially for $17! The beer selection was awesome and the drinks as well. Great service too! I'd still go back...but I'd definitely order different food choices. I will always give a place a second try and this is one of those places.

Excellent service, atmosphere, food was very well designed, appetite pleasing and very tasty. Appetizer portions were small for the price but very good. Food portions are very big and made lunch the next day! Our waitress was on top of things! Our drinks were kept refilled and we were asked if anything was needed just enough to not disrupt our dinner. We were seated in seconds even though it was a Friday night! A great place for family dinner, date night or even business meetings! Parking is not offered but 2 blocks away you can park for cheap! Highly recommend but pass on the appetizers...three of us were very satisfied for under 100.00 with tip! And, if you like variety of ales, etc this is THE place to go, dozens and dozens of drink choices! Reasonably priced as well!

This is a great bar/restaurant. Service is quick and friendly, it's one of the few bars I would go to just for the food, there's a good amount of televisions for watching sporting events. The menu has a lot of interesting items that will make me come back the next time I'm in the area.

Hidden Gem This place my wife and I discovered just last week. We thought it was new; however, it has been around for about 10 years. We just loved it. We started there before heading to the Pepsi Center for a concert, it was just a short walk. June ordered a very delicious drink call the smoking gun, it has chile infused tequila, maguey Del Vida Mezcal, lime juice, golden agave nectar and angostura bitters. It was a great start of the night. Our dinners were fabulous and there was plenty to share between us. We are keeping this place on our radar for future night outs. I have uploaded pictures of the meal with the menu item.

Their garlic wings are legit. Definitely an excellent place to go for a couple of beers and wings after the workday in downtown denver. The food is very good here, we did however sit down because it said seat yourself. We were immediately asked to get up and sit at a different table.......the wait was unusually long after that for initial contact with a server. The food is excellent, nice wood decor. They even add the tip for you! I left an additional tip.

Food gone downhill. Used to be fresh made and handcut fries. Now it’s freezer fries and stale buns. Mandatory 20% service fee which the employees take advantage of and service is reliably miserable. Used to tolerate the service for great food. Now that the food sucks I’d recommend going anywhere else. $22 for a chicken sandwich or burger. That’s not including tip!! No thanks.

Our server was the coolest server. I wish I could remember her name but she was amazing!!! I think it was the owner maybe or definitely just like a higher up that came over and checked on us. Very pleasant as well, the food was outstanding but I will say that my hot honey chicken wrap was excellent while I was there and when I tried to eat the rest of it at home it was super stinking spicy I mean obviously because it was hot honey, but it was just spicier than I was expecting. But so worth it. Every single bite was just as spicy as it was mind-blowingly delicious!!! Highly recommend this spot. Also. The se are I forget if they were truffle fries but some kind of amazing french fry was great and the ranch was Divine. Absolutely homemade you could tell!!

Restaurant
Post Oak Barbecue is a laid-back eatery in Denver that offers classic Texan BBQ dishes. Owner Nick Prince, originally from Fort Worth, opened the joint in 2019 after honing his smoking skills at backyard cookouts and barbecue contests. The restaurant uses post oak from Austin for 100% wood-fire cooking to achieve the authentic Texas-style flavor.
I live in Texas. I've eaten (and reviewed) a LOT of Texas BBQ. This place is definitely good Texas BBQ The brisket was well seasoned, moist and tender, with a nice bark, the pork ribs were flavorful moist and a little zesty(and my favorite) . The pulled pork was moist, as well. I think the pitmaster likes zing . :) Most of the sides had a little jalapeno kick as well. We don't usually get more than one side, but I was with my sisters family, so we tried a lot of sides. My teen nieces loved the mac and cheese with pulled pork, we had the plain also-- very creamy! The coleslaw was tasty(vinegar based not mayo, which is a big win for me). The mashed potatoes are whipped into submission, everyone enjoyed then. The muffins, those bummed me out a little. They are probably great right out of the oven, rather than warmed up. Not a big deal, I wasn't there for the muffins. I'll try them again next time to give them a fair shake. There's a full bar, plenty of nice folks in there keep the place running smoothly and the vibe inside is not unlike most local BBQ spots in Texas. Maybe a little fancier cuz it's in the city. :) It's a little piece of Texas in Denver, for sure. The location is excellent (though if you know the Tennison area, you know parking is terrible. If you don't know the area, plan to walk a couple of blocks) If there's a line, wait in it. That's normal for any Texas BBQ, I've waited in many a BBQ line and this is worth the wait. If it's crowded, grab extra napkins and go eat your BBQ in the park down the street. We are there on a Thursday. It was crowded but we got a table pretty quickly, and the line was short. We had a great meal and is definitely go back next time I'm in town.

Walked in and immediately had a rush of smoky air hit ya in the face, I knew that smell could only mean delicious food. It sure was good. I visit bbq places all over the map and this did not disappoint. I would prefer to have better options for 1,2 or 3 meat combos instead of paying for everything individually with sides being pretty pricey. You pay per weight for the meat and that adds up. Here pictures is $65 I believe, two meats at 1/4 lb and one side plus drink. Mac was extremely cheesy and delicious. Beans I was told were very good. Meat not dry at all. No complaints on any of the food. Staff was wonderful and pleasant to converse with.

Post Oak BBQ in Denver – A Smoky Slice of Texas Heaven If you’re on a quest for the best barbecue in Colorado, look no further than Post Oak BBQ in Denver. From the moment you step inside, the unmistakable aroma of real wood-smoked meats hits you like a warm welcome home—and the flavor lives up to every savory expectation. Brisket Beyond Belief Let’s start with the brisket: it’s simply to die for. Smoky, tender, and full of rich beefy depth, it delivers that melt-in-your-mouth magic that only authentic Texas barbecue can pull off. While the serving style could be a little more refined—everything arrives on a single tray, making it a bit unclear which slices are lean or fatty—the taste more than compensates. Each bite transports you straight to Central Texas, no plane ticket required. Ribs and Wings That Deliver The St. Louis-style ribs are absolutely outstanding. They’re meaty, well-seasoned, and fall-off-the-bone fantastic. You can tell these ribs have spent quality time in the smoker, soaking up all the right flavors. The wings, while not the star of the show, are still solid contenders—nicely charred, juicy, and a great sidekick to the main meats. Sides Done Right Every side dish deserves a nod of appreciation. Whether you’re savoring creamy mac and cheese, tangy slaw, or cornbread with just the right crumble, Post Oak nails the accompaniment game. They’re not just filler—they’re flavorful, satisfying, and clearly made with care. Fast, Efficient Service Despite the Crowd When we arrived, the place was packed—a clear sign that locals know what’s good. Even with the crowd, service was impressively fast. The staff moved with efficiency and kept the line flowing, ensuring that diners didn’t spend more time waiting than eating. Authentic Texas BBQ in Colorado’s Heart Post Oak BBQ isn’t just serving barbecue—it’s preserving a tradition. The smoky depth, the rustic presentation, the bold flavors—they all speak of genuine Texas roots. In a region full of good eats, this spot rises above. It’s hands down the best barbecue in the state. Whether you’re a Texas native yearning for a taste of home or a Coloradan chasing the smoke ring dream, Post Oak BBQ is a must-visit. Get ready to loosen your belt and leave happy.

Definitely a delicious place for bbq which is harder to find in Denver than other cuisines. I had the Texas style bbq pulled pork sandwich and my boyfriend got the loaded baked potato. Excellent tender meat and lots of variety for sauces. Would like to come back and try the Carolina style instead of the Texas.

Post oak never fails, it is truly and easily hands-down, the best barbecue in Colorado. However, what prompted me to finally write a review, was for a new reason. I happened to go to post Oak on their sixth year anniversary and was greeted with a nice cold beer. It is absolutely the best way to enter a restaurant, congratulations on 6 years !!

I’m a native Texan that lived in KC for 5 years, so I’ve grown up around great bbq all my life. I can honestly say it was not only the best bbq in Colorado, but I’d say it was some of the best I’ve had outside of Texas! The brisket was great, hot links were fire, but the pork belly stole the show. Absolutely remarkable.

We ate and still had food in our plates, and older men came and asked if we were done. Absolutely not. we still had food, and i was still eating off my plate. I felt he was pushy, mind you, and it was not busy at this time. There were plenty of seats available. So the service suck for me. I don't think I'll be coming back. Didn't feel comfortable by this man coming to us like I can put my plates in the trash when I'm done silverware away.

Woody's Wings N Things may sound like a typical wing joint, but it offers an extensive menu featuring traditional Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese, Cambodian, and Laotian dishes. The unassuming strip-mall restaurant surprises diners with its diverse culinary offerings.
Atmosphere. Dated. Nice dated appearance I'd say. Looks back in time. Service, they cover the basic needs . Just gotta wave them down. I went 3 times and got their shrimp and lobster sauce lunch to start. Very very good Chinese they have. The lobster sauce I could tell is one of the best in this area if not the best. It was the right color and had everything in it. The rice was light yellow and usually in the Chinese world, the browner the fried rice the better but not here. This fried rice measures up in flavor. I got Cambodian spicy soup 2nd which I liked. It was different but it had a more sour taste. Out of the 3 things I got it was my least favorite but still good if you never tried it and gotta get it out of your system. Last but not least. Duck egg noodle soup. Besides when I had Nepalese noodles, this is one of the best Asian soups I've ever had. Many of them are good but this here is something you don't usually find and it had a wonderful flavor as well as the egg noodles.

This is a very authentic southeast Asian restaurant. You can grab your average Chinese American food here and be safe or you can experience real food from other countries. This is where my wife, who is from Thailand, likes to go eat so she can get the ‘real’ deal. And if she asks for HOT and I mean HOTTT and spicy she can get it here. Nice people and good prices.
Paul S — Google review
This place is hilariously awesome! The name and décor give off an old-school saloon vibe, but in reality, it’s a family-owned Southeast Asian restaurant serving some of the most authentic and unique dishes in Denver. Every bite is a yummy surprise—you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Speaking of the menu, it’s hilariously chaotic in the best way. It’s filled with pictures of an almost absurd variety of dishes, from wings and burgers (many aggressively crossed out with a big “NO”) to whole fried fish and hot pot. There are no prices or explanations, but you won’t find a selection like this anywhere else. The fried fish was a standout, and the beef waterfall salad was fantastic—unfortunately I forgot to snap a photo. The flavors for the prices are unbeatable. Definitely give this place a try!

Woody’s Wings and Things is a great example of why you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. The outside and inside aren’t exactly fancy, but the food and service are absolutely fantastic! They have a huge menu, and everything is cooked to order. I had the Pad Thai, and it was delicious. It was well-seasoned and a generous serving. My wife had the wings, and they were crispy and well-cooked. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you’re in the area, you should definitely stop by and try Woody’s.
Eddie H — Google review
As many of America’s greatest eateries are, Woody’s Wings N Things is situated in a questionable looking strip mall, nestled between a convenience store and a takeout pizza joint. I was excited to go to Woody’s for the first time, and when my buddy and I pulled up to find a jam-packed parking lot, my anticipation only grew. We walked in, and seemingly every patron looked up and stared at us as if thinking “dangit, more people found out about our secret.” Luckily, we were seated immediately and presented with massive, phone book sized menus with helpful pictures of all the dishes. Woody’s is billed as a Chinese restaurant, but the flags on the sign out front are a clue that the menu features fare from all over Southeast Asia. “Wings and Things” is an apt label for this place because they have Wings… and a whole lot of other Things. We were nearly through our first beers by the time we had fully inspected the menu. I knew this was going to be a special experience the moment the lemongrass wings hit the table. Drowning in a delicious curry sauce, the wings were still delightfully crunchy (how do they do that?!). Everything we ordered— Pad Thai, whole fried fish, roast pork and bok choy, hot and sour soup— was wonderful. The Pad Thai was the best I’ve had in Denver. You must get the whole fish; Pro Tip from the waiter: if you can’t decide between the sauces, just get them all on the side. Seemingly, even the Tsingtao tastes better here. Woody’s is one of the best restaurants in the Denver Metro. Grab some friends, and go eat there.

I recently dined at Woody's and Things, and overall, it was a delightful experience. We tried a variety of dishes, and each had its own unique flavor that left us quite satisfied. We started with the **Squid Salad**, which was refreshingly light and had a nice balance of tanginess and spice. The squid was tender, and the fresh herbs added a vibrant touch to the dish. Next, we had the **Tofu Clay Pot**, which was a hearty and comforting choice. The tofu was perfectly cooked, with a nice crispy exterior and soft inside, soaking up the rich, savory broth beautifully. The **Fried Fish** was another standout. The fish was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned just right. It paired well with the dipping sauce that came on the side. Finally, the **Seafood Tom Yum** was a fantastic finish. The broth was a perfect blend of spicy, sour, and savory, loaded with a generous amount of seafood. The flavors were authentic and bold, making it the highlight of our meal. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I would definitely recommend Woody's and Things for anyone looking to enjoy delicious Thai cuisine.

The food was amazing. I got their Pad Kee Mao and the noodles were seasoned to perfection, the veggies were crispy snd the seafood was tender. Highly recommend this place.

Ordered 2 beef laab, fried chicken, fried fish, papaya salad, and pad Thai for pick up. Got home and got only I laab and the papaya salad was ok … taste mostly peppers. Pad Thai was not it , had to throw in the pan to make it taste better….leave that dish alone if you can’t make it properly.

The Pork.Let is a small but flavorful joint known for its specialty pork cutlets and fried chicken dishes. The menu features crispy breadcrumb-coated pork and chicken cutlets, as well as meaty wings with a sticky sauce. Situated near Pacific Ocean Marketplace in an Aurora shopping center, this fast-casual spot excels at producing renditions of katsu, offering a variety of sides and umami-rich dipping sauces.
Very nice small Korean restaurant. The Pork.Let sandwich is excellent with cabbage and sauce in a good bun. There was enough for me to take half home for later. The menu includes several interesting choices. Service is top notch. It was very friendly and helpful. The space, though small is modern, very clean and has several tables. They do have password protected Wi-Fi, but I don't know if it was available for guests. The parking lot can be fairly full, but there should be some spots available.

The Porklet is a standout gem among restaurants, offering a truly exceptional dining experience! The flavor, presentation, and hospitality here are truly great! Every dish from the cheesy dust chicken wings (must try - crazy tasty) and tornado fried rice to the spicy seafood udon is as visually stunning as it is delicious!!!!! What truly sets The Porklet apart, however, is the service! A special shoutout to Manuel, whose attentiveness, patience, goes above and beyond and personal touch make every visit feel special! He remembers guests and their preferences, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere here, making this place become go-to comfort spot not just for the incredible food, but for the heartfelt hospitality that makes each visit memorable!!!!

I will be back. Came for lunch with a friend and shared the sweet potato rolls, it's hard to describe the experience but they were very good. We also each got the Porklet meal, it's a generous helping of food that we could have shared. Personally I am not a fan of miso soup in general so I asked them to leave it off my order but I loved everything else that I tried. The crust on the porklet was nice and crispy but still very light. The cabbage salad was very finely sliced and had a great crunch, the dressing is sweet but a nice complement for the cabbage. The macaroni salad is one of the better ones I've had and you can ask for additional sides if needed. Overall great experience, wonderful staff, and we will be back to try more things.

This place is so yummy! I was extremely happy to see they had honey butter flavor wings because it seems so hard to find here in the Denver area. I got the garlic bomb as well as the macaroni salad too. Everything exceeded my expectations. The wings were so crispy and full of flavor. Place was clean and Manuel, who worked there, was so sweet and helpful with recommendations. I will definitely be back!

Great little place for great food! The pork let dish is so yummy and huge! The pork is crispy and tender. Even the Cole slaw is good.. the wings are some of the best Korean wings I’ve had around here. Definitely recommend!!

The porklet is one of the best pork cutlet fast casual places in the area. Its tornado fried rice is not only aesthetically pleasing but tasty as well. The pork cutlet and mac salad reminds me of one of the most popular Katsu places in Hawaii. The cutlet was juicy and tasty! I hope they stay around for years to come because it is one of the few places that serves up pork cutlets and the tornado fried rice for a tasty lunch or dinner!

My first time here and it was amazing. The garlic chicken was outstanding. The porklet was extremely tender and delicious. Definitely going back again.

I’ll reiterate what everyone else has said—total hidden gem. Wings were extra crispy and delicious, the garlic soy ones were my favorite and I highly recommend! My partner ordered the porklet plate (#1) and it came with so much food. Miso soup was so tasty (a good sign at any place if their miso is quality) and the katsu was well-fried and moist. Cabbage salad was LARGE and shareable with a good sesame dressing. Our server/host was super nice and pleasant too so kudos to him! Altogether a solid spot that we look forward to coming back to :)

Barbecue restaurant
GQue BBQ in Lakewood is a must-visit spot for barbecue enthusiasts. The owner's experience in the competitive barbecue circuit shines through in the slow-smoked meats that are available by the pound, quarter-pound, or as sandwiches. With a menu featuring classic meaty choices and delectable sides like Mac and cheese and green beans, this place offers top-notch quality. Whether you dine in or opt for delivery, you're guaranteed to savor amazing food.
G-Que BBQ is easily one of the best barbecue spots I’ve tried in Colorado (I haven’t had many). The brisket was incredibly tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of smoke. The ribs had a nice bite to them and they also had a rich, savory bark that really stood out. Sausage had a great snap and seasoning. The jalapeño wasn’t too much heat at all. The mac and cheese was creamy, satisfying, and uniquely flavored. I destroyed it. Easily the perfect side. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and efficient. I appreciated how everything was clearly marked on the menu, making it easy to order even for a first timer. Their “’til it’s gone” policy is no joke, especially if you’re planning to come later in the day, be prepared that some items might sell out. That said, it’s a sign of how popular and fresh the food is. I’d definitely recommend G-Que for anyone looking for high quality BBQ in a relaxed setting. Great for groups, quick lunches, or a laid back dinner.
Nick B — Google review
The food was hot and quickly served. Lots of self serve drink options. I thought the pulled pork sandwich was bland even with the hot BBQ sauce. I thought the slaw was bland too. Good pickle tho. I thought it was expensive for what I got. Staff was very friendly and personable. Great staff. It's located in a fancy area with free street parking.

Lovely establishment. Pleasant service. Had the sliced turkey samich and mac and cheese, watermelon/strawberry drink and a pickle. It was really good! Ate everything down to the last bite🤤! Would definitely return to try some more items!

We ordered take-out for a tailgater at the Broncos game. The manager went out of his way to return a late-night call about our order. They accommodated two changes to our pickup time the next morning. BBQ was outstanding with just the right amount of smoke - we had ribs, wings (dry-rub), brisket, slaw, and beans. This is our new favorite BBQ! Great food! Great customer service!

A pleasant surprise to find this place and serving pork barbecue! I ordered the Carolina sandwich, seasoned fries. Both were really good and the Apple Slaw was a nice change-up from typical white slaw. My sister had the spare ribs and she said it was some of the best she's ever had. This is definitely a place to try!

If you’re anywhere near Denver and you love BBQ, The Tone is an absolute must. I’ve had BBQ all across the country, and this place easily makes my top list — and not just for the food (which is incredible), but the whole experience. Let’s talk about the food first — starting with the wings. Hands down, these are the best wings I’ve ever had in the U.S. The buffalo flavor is everything you want: tangy, spicy, crispy on the outside, juicy inside. Absolute perfection. The brisket was also a highlight. For Colorado standards, it was superb — smoky, tender, and packed with flavor. What took it over the top for me was their Zesty Mustard Sauce. That stuff should be bottled and sold — it’s bold, tangy, and paired perfectly with the brisket. They’ve also got a great rewards program that’s actually worth using: • 1st visit: Free pulled pork sandwich (mine was fantastic) • 2nd visit: 3 free ribs • 3rd visit: 5 free wings (get the buffalo!) Now for the service — truly next-level. Braiden took my order at the counter and later checked in at my table to make sure everything was great. Super friendly and professional. Cuyler, the manager, also came by to chat about the food — awesome guy, clearly passionate about the customer experience and what they’re serving. James helped me out with several different request I asked for, what a SUPERSTAR EMPLOYEE! What really stood out to me, though, was the energy among the staff. Watching the way they interacted with each other, it’s clear they’re not just coworkers — they genuinely seem like friends who enjoy being there. That positive vibe spills over into the whole experience and makes the place feel warm, relaxed, and inviting. Every employee was very friendly, welcoming, and kind, and the entire team gave off this upbeat, easygoing energy that made me want to stay longer. And to top it all off, the music playing in the background was all Billboard Hot 100 hits — a fun, modern playlist that kept the vibe upbeat and current. I paired my meal with the Perfect Drift Pilsner from 4Noses Brewing — crisp, clean, and the perfect match for rich BBQ flavors. From the food to the staff to the overall atmosphere, The Tone is easily the best BBQ spot I’ve found in Denver. Great food, great people, great vibe — I’ll absolutely be back. 🔥🐖🍗🍺🎶

love this place! GM Cuyler and the staff here are awesome!! i’m originally from california so we don’t have GQue’s, and this branch was my first GQue experience and i’m so glad that it was! i went in to get the free pulled pork sandwich with the app, and left buying a gallon of their sweet tea and a t-shirt to go 😂 i’m a fan now and will definitely be back! highly recommended! thank you Cuyler!

Each time that I went to G-Que's, not only did they have awesome food, they also had an amazing crew and were always serving with a smile. As for the food I had ordered, I technically didn't even pay because they give out a FREE pulled pork sandwich for downloading their app and FREE fries after the Broncos win, so I went after the Broncos won to make it a meal and they even hooked me up with some Onion Rings and a couple weeks later they asked me to come try their ribs through the app. Overall, 10-10 experience and most definitely would and have recommended to others

Genna Rae Wings & More... is a delightful takeout spot nestled in the Whittier neighborhood, brought to life by Genn Dickerson in 2016. This charming eatery specializes in BBQ wings and offers a tantalizing array of sandwiches and hearty dinners, all infused with Caribbean flair. The menu features mouthwatering options like jerk chicken sandwiches and plantains, but the star attraction remains their crispy wings.
Always freshly made and delicious. Comforting to my soul and brings me joy every time I eat here. The salmon with raspberry sauce was very tasty and omg the greens I want more and the yams are so yammmmmmmmy rich goodness for love in my mouth.

Just take the okra off the menu. Please. The breading is way too thick and they taste like they’ve been in the freezer since last year. The wings were good (good size, cooked with a perfect crisp) but the lemon pepper didn’t have much lemon flavor. The pics don’t show the CRAZY amount of grease that were seeped into the wings. So much grease that it squirts out when you take a bite. Bring an apron or bib if that’s not a deal breaker for you.
Cole — Google review
Solidly middle of the road experience. Looks like the obvious reason to come here is the wings, nothing else seems consistently good. Sadly I didn’t get the wings, but got the fried chicken sandwich instead. I’m on a mission to find a good fried chicken sandwich in town from a place that brines their chicken before frying. Genna’s sandwich had very similar vibes to a Popeye’s sandwich but wasn’t particularly good, although it seems like it has potential to sometimes be good. The bun, mayo and pickles were promising but the chicken itself was dry and tough like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. Breading had an unusually dry and almost sandy texture like it had a lot of cornstarch in it or something. All in all, might come back one or two more times to try it and see if they’re consistent but first visit wasn’t what I was hoping for.

Genna Rae’s is the truth. Great food!! Ribs, jerk chicken, catfish, wings, greens, Mac & cheese, baked beans and the surprisingly good sweet potato salad… oh an that rum cake was 🔥. The customer service is off the charts. Naz was amazing, very professional and ultra personable. Can’t wait to go back again before we get outta town.

Genna Rae's in Denver is a hidden gem I just discovered. Coming from NY where Caribbean food is an abundance compared to Denver, l didn't think l'd get so lucky upon arrival, finding one of the most delicious Caribbean spots. Gen is the owner, he's also a chef and a father, naming this cozy culturally rooted joint after his daughter. Highly recommend Genna Rae's, you won't be disappointed.

Stars for the smoked, tender oxtails. Everything else was a no 🙅‍♀️. Im so sad because I really wanted to like this place, but other than the oxtails, the food was soo bad. Tough brisket, overfried okra, plain mac n cheese and I got a 6 piece lemon pepper wing that I hoped would've made up for that brisket but no.

I refuse to get wings from anywhere else! Their wings are not 50% fat like other places it’s all meat and bone and I don’t think I could ask for more 😍 you can order different counts of wings as well as all flats or all drumsticks (for an extra cost). I just ordered 24pc more recently to try more than just their hot wings. I’m grateful I did because now I’m addicted to more than one flavor. Only place I recommend for wings 👌🏾

Mono Mono Korean Fried Chicken is a trendy spot in Denver, owned by JW Lee who aims to introduce Korean drinking culture to the city. The restaurant offers shareable dishes traditionally enjoyed with beer and other alcoholic beverages, such as soy-garlic Korean fried chicken wings, gochujang-glazed rice cakes, and buttered corn with mozzarella. During happy hour, patrons can enjoy $5 sake bombs.
I had a yearning for Korean food and finally found Mono Mono. Where is the fantastic eatery with delicious food, and on top of that, they serve them in large portions, which is why my boyfriend and I couldn't finish it. We tried the Mild and Spicy wings and absolutely loved them. Spicy isn't as spicy as I expected, which was a good thing because my boyfriend can't handle spicy lol. And the mild has a pleasant honey taste. Both moderate and spicy varieties are highly recommended. In addition, the ambiance is peaceful and comfortable. The staff was extremely efficient and attentive! If you want to experience Korean food, Mono Mono is the place to go.🌟

BEST KOREAN CHICKEN I HAVE EVER EATEN. Seriously delicious, what's spicy is spicy, mild sauces were very savory. Chicken was crispy and well done. The ginger ale soft drink - amazing. Staff very friendly and effective. Wait times not that long abt 10 minutes. Best dish from menu I guess kimchi fries. They are out standing. Trust me. Kimchi was also very good, comparable to the homemade one. From now on, my go to place in Denver. Caution: portions are pretty big 😭

This place is sooooo gooooood. Adorable inside too and great service!! The chicken isn’t too greasy, sauces are insane, and sides were delish. Really feel like the prices were fair too. Cheaper than Chickfila! Support this local spot!

Visited this place for the first time several weeks ago and had a great experience! Lots of variety on types of fried chicken to get and all the sides were fun as well. We got the combo B option and had more than enough food to share for 2 people. Definitely recommend this place for lateish night eats in the Denver area! Staff were also really nice enough thought we showed up within an hour of closing. Will be back!

This place was so good. I wish I would have ordered more of the bulgogi fried rice to go. We couldn't decide on what we wanted so we ordered a bunch of things and shared. We were a group of 5 people. We ordered the bulgogi fried rice, a 5 piece of the spicy chicken tenderloins, the bulgogi nachos with extra Bulgogi, fried pork dumplings with a dip, secret sauce chicken, and some of the best, most tasty grilled brussel sprouts that were seasoned perfectly and sprinkled with some Cotija cheese.😋 The bulgogi nachos were very good. The chips part was made of fried wontons which was interesting and very good. Only thing I'd do different next time is I'd ask for the sauce on the side. Same thing for the secret sauce chicken only because the sauce is too spicy for some. Those brussel sprouts were super good and left me wishing I ordered more. All in all I rate this place a 5 out of 5. The food was the best and the venue was upbeat. Try it yourself and see!

Ordered Togo for pickup. Food was good, nothing amazing though, but quite pricey for the portions IMHO. The biggest annoyance was the pickled dikon radishes. Paid 3$ for "5oz" of them, got something much smaller, not like the picture on the menu, it was only 2.75 oz included ding the container and juice, but only 1.55 oz of just radish, pictures attached.. Pickup time was 1hr 5min... but it was mostly empty when I got there, maybe it was busy earlier? Anyway, the price/food ratio and the dishonest radish thing would keep us from going again. Went back in July 2025, still very unimpressed. Got a spicy chicken sandwich. Almost no sauce on it. They forgot the pickle, my friend got one though. They left the aiole off both sandwiches to. Side of standard frozen French fries. Lots of just other little lame details too.. ugh
Daniel K — Google review
Chill experience, good food, great service. Zero complaints here. The waitress even let us know that the portions were big, so we wouldn't over order food for our party. We had the bulgogi nachos, kimchi fries, popcorn shrimp, and the bundle order #2. All delicious food. The plain chicken was tasteless but that's why it came with a bunch of dipping sauces, so make use of it. Take time to stop here.
QQkaChew — Google review
The waitress was very sweet and the atmosphere was nice, but we couldn’t get through the meal. The egg on the fried rice was good, but the rice didn’t have much flavor even after adding soy sauce. We ordered two dozen Korean wings as well, and although they were fried to perfection, we couldn’t eat them due to the overwhelming garlic flavor, and we like garlic. There was also a hint of fish flavor in each dish.

In addition to the a la carte classics, they also offer family meals with daily rotating choices like fried chicken and apricot-glazed pork loin.
I only tried one burger in Denver, it was the Baja Colorado burger and it might have been my favorite burger I've ever had. The chicken sandwich was also phenomenal, fries were the perfect blend of crispy on the outside but soft on the inside, and the nachos were classic and tasty. Staff was super super friendly (our waitress was Megan). The only thing I didn't absolutely love was the egg rolls. Would come back here so fast. Highly recommend!!

Great atmosphere. Good, but not great, food and service. For a place that features burgers I expect something far above average. But honestly, I would rather have enjoyed a good Double Double from In-N-Out. The rings were okay, but could have used some salt. The fries were the best part of the meal. They were delicious! There is an ice cream counter that I believe is part of the business. The ice cream was excellent, serving a premium product with outstanding taste and mouth feel. Maybe the place should be named 5280 Ice Cream Counter. It truly was a better product. But don't get me wrong, the food isn't terrible. Just not as good as expected.

Can’t speak for the other sandwiches, but the chicken sandwich was a huge letdown. I had the Sheko Chicken Sandwich, and it was incredibly bland. For something labeled as a gourmet sandwich, I expected a well-made, hearty patty with quality toppings — but it completely missed the mark. Paying $18 (tax included, no sides) for a sandwich this underwhelming feels outrageous. I also got fries on the side — they were okay, but nothing special. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a good chicken sandwich.

Came here for lunch and it was great. I had the guac burger and shared the loaded tots. Both were great. The tots were more like filled tater tots. I didn’t get that impression from the menu description and was confused when the server said they can’t serve tater tots plain as a side. There were a lot of TVs throughout. The prices were also very reasonable.

I know take out is a harsh way to judge a place, so take this review with a grain of salt… but it just wasn’t good. You can tell by the photos how awful the fries were. The burger was fine. Moonlight Diner is a lively restaurant and bar in Aurora, Colorado, offering Irish-inspired pub grub and a wide selection of beers on tap. The diner provides an authentic 1950s experience near Denver International Airport, making it convenient for both travelers and locals. With its cozy atmosphere and classic American fare like the Moonlight breakfast sandwich, the Kitchen Sink, French toast, traditional breakfast options with biscuits and gravy, fluffy pancakes, and more, Moonlight Diner has something to satisfy every craving.
Stopped by this diner and it definitely delivered on huge portions, yummy food, and that classic retro feel. The place has an old-school charm. We ordered the chicken and biscuits and the country fried steak with pancakes. Both were hearty, flavorful, and seriously satisfying—pure comfort food. The pancakes were fluffy, and the gravy on the country fried steak hit just right. If you come hungry, you won’t leave disappointed. Service was okay—not bad, but nothing standout. It got the job done. Overall, if you’re into big plates of classic diner food in a fun, throwback setting, this spot is worth a visit.

The portions given are a very good value for the price. Had leftovers. The moonlight signature burger was SO good. The chicken fried steak was an actual thick steak. Gravy used was perfect on top. Got zucchini sticks and holy moly you got so many sit the price, and they were very good as well. DEFINITELY recommend

It was packed for breakfast on a Friday still the service was fast and friendly, the food was delicious with generous portions, and it's reasonably priced. I got the Moonlight classic breakfast with chorizo, eggs, hashbrowns, and pancakes. It's almost enough for two people, almost. The hashbrowns don't come pre-seasoned but there's a generous selection of condiments on the table. If paprika, cinnamon, or black pepper is too spicy for you, skip the chorizo. However if you like flavor, I highly recommend it. Definitely try this place out.

We recently came here for lunch and here’s what I thought. Atmosphere: Moonlight Diner is cutely decorated on the inside. They have a lovely outdoor porch with mist fans in the summer. I will say the booth fabric NEEDS to be redone. I noticed several booths had cracked upholstery or holes in them! Restrooms: They had men’s and women’s bathrooms. The women’s bathrooms had 3 stalls. The bathroom was clean. Service: The service was great. Everyone was so friendly. Food: We loved our food. You can never go wrong with diner food. I got a simple grilled cheese and fries. The grilled cheese was perfect and I LOVED the seasoning on the fries. My husband got their mushroom burger and really enjoyed it. We got a chocolate milkshake to go, which was so good. This is a great place for breakfast and lunch and is conveniently located close to the airport. Prices were very reasonable.

Excellent food. Everything I have had here is great. I’d highly recommend the tapas-the Oaxaca cheese tastes amazing - tender creamy texture with a nutty hint… the heirloom tomatoes adds the perfect summer flavor and wraps the bite in a perfect harmony. The pork chile is by far the best - thick, chunky, smoky. The light crunch of onion surrounded by tender ground pork and soft chili chunks, it is so perfect for any meal. Fry bread taco is an interesting item-the thick bread tortilla is more of a heavier dough bite. Happy eating

The food was amazing, came here on a Thursday. Came back on Saturday during the Hard Rock Summit show and the the restaurant changed names. Changed the menu and prices went up. Not sure if its just because the show but kinda seems like exploitin of needs. Since there is a show here and no other restaurants we can just change the name of and up the prices till its over, but there is a Taco truck outside in the parking lot that has amazing tacos.

Service was bad. Food was mediocre. Drink was decent, but pricey. They are unwilling to split a bill more than 3 ways. In this day and age, it should be an easy thing to do. This caused our group of 8 a lot of stress at the end of the night. Additionally, the waiter barely came to check on our table. The enchiladas were not very good - the sauce was burnt tasting, and the rice and beans were very bland. My food also came out cold. The coco moe was really yummy, but the drink was tiny and the cup was 90% ice. $14 for a few sips was not a good value. We won't be back. Not sure why they changed names from Kachina to Spotted Donkey, but this place has gone downhill.

Decor and ambiance was top notch. Food was good. Would recommend to try the fried bread tacos here, they were delicious! Served was very nice but the service was lagging and didn’t get a few items we had ordered.

Our server, Zach, was excellent and very courteous and professional. I really enjoyed his style of customer service. The food was amazing. I will be coming back here for sure!! Highly recommend.

The service was amazing, the food and drinks were fabulous. My husbands steak was done as he asked and it melted in our mouths. Miranda was so attentive and friendly. We will definitely visit again when we are back in town.

Service was slow considering our group was one of few there. Guac was already brown and it was early afternoon, meaning it was leftover from the day before. Gross. Rest of the meal was mediocre average Mexican. Not worth the price. Nice space though!

Breakfast restaurant
Watercourse Foods is a charming cafe with Watership Down-inspired murals, offering a completely vegan menu. Established in 1998, it has been a popular spot for plant-based meals in Denver's Cap Hill area. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh ingredients and reducing environmental impact by recycling nearly all waste, including converting fryer oil into bio-diesel.
There are not enough stars for this place! The vibe is super welcoming and the food and drinks are delicious! Truly unbelievable that it’s all plant based. My only advice would be to check the bakery case before you order because there might be amazing surprise treats. I have the cauliflower wings, Cuban and a cocktail. Took the carrot cake to go and so delicious start to finish. And the friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere just makes it perfect.

Great place for vegan meal! Caesar salad is amazing. The Philly sandwich and cauliflower wings were on the heavier side but still pretty good. Love the all vegan menu!
Bruce H — Google review
I dined at Watercourse on March 3rd, 2024 and i’ll never dine here again. Let me tell you why. I honestly wasn’t going to even write a review but the more I thought about how poor my experience was, I realized it was important to share. I traveled from Los Angeles to Denver alone for work and I was excited to eat here, as I am plant based and did a lot of research on where to eat. I decided on Watercourse because I saw they had a three course option for a great price. I excitedly made my reservation about a week in advance. I arrived at about 4:20 and it was pretty quiet. I was greeted and seated by 4:25 and then completely forgotten about for almost 40 minutes. I’m not joking. The servers would look over at me, say something to each other, and then walk away. I had time to spare because I was just going back to my hotel afterwards, so I waited to see how long it would take them to remember I exist. A large party was sat about 20 minutes after I sat down and they were immediately taken care of, drinks and all. Again, there weren’t many tables at this time, the servers knew I was there and hadn’t been taken care of yet, and still continued to ignore me. I don’t remember the exact servers but I know one of them was a woman with very short hair - that’s all I remember. Anyways, when they finally bothered to come to my table, there was no apology for the delay. Very nonchalant. The actual food was ok, it was a bit cold and the only dishes I actually liked were the mushroom starter and the chocolate dessert. The seitan steak and halloumi (?) sticks were kind of gross. This whole experience was highly disappointing and I will never come here again. If they don’t care about their customers (especially single diners) why should I give this place even more money? I have vegan friends that frequent Denver and I tell them to avoid this restaurant like the plague.

Such great food! My kiddo is dairy free and we wanted a place with Mac n cheese but yummy food for grown ups too. This was wonderful! She had the pumpkin cookie and loved it too. Also they have Rocky mountian soda and its sweetened with Agave and delicious! I got the turkey and brie sandwich with fig sauce and fries. So satisfying!
Lea H — Google review
The atmosphere, service, and food were all delicious — a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a meal. The staff were friendly, and the overall vibe was vibrant yet comfortable. For the most part, their menu feels thoughtful and nourishing, though they could take it to the next level by reducing some of the less clean/toxic ingredients for an even more wholesome dining experience. Still, a solid go-to for flavorful plant-based meals.
HealWith D — Google review
Great friendly service and atmosphere but unfortunately the food was pretty mediocre. I really don’t like leaving negative reviews, but the Watercourse platter was probably the worst thing I ate on my trip to Denver. Vegetables had little flavor and seemed like they’d been sitting out, and the tofu scramble was pretty bland. The only aspects of the meal that were good were the vegan chorizo and the cold brew coffee. Maybe this wasn’t the dish to order or maybe they were just having an off day. I know Watercourse has a great reputation and I might need to visit again to give them a fair shot.
Justin N — Google review
I'm not really a vegan or a seitan guy, but they really make a strong effort on all their dishes 😉. The menus are more extensive on the QR code website vs what's on the physical menu. Great selection of alcohol at the bar as well!

10/10 food, atmosphere, decor and service. Recommend the seitan Buffalo wings and Cuban sandwich. Also the Vegan carrot cake cupcake. As a vegetarian who had a hard time giving up wings and roast beef so happy to have found this place!

City O' City is a popular spot in Denver, known for its bohemian atmosphere and high-concept vegetarian cuisine that caters to both meat-eaters and plant-based diners. The restaurant offers a relaxed setting with various seating options, including bars and tables for formal dining. Open from 7 a.m. to 2 a.m.
City O’ City is incredible, truly the best vegan food we’ve ever had! If we could pack this place up and bring it back home to Minnesota, we would in a heartbeat. The breakfast burrito is legendary. It’s the size of a small child (no joke!) and every single bite is bursting with flavor. Perfectly balanced, hearty, and beyond satisfying. And don’t even get me started on the mocha latte; smooth, rich, and just the right amount of chocolatey goodness. The atmosphere is laid-back and artsy, and the staff made us feel so welcome. We’re already dreaming about our next trip to Denver so we can eat here again. City O’ City, please open a location in Minnesota — we need you!

Our visit ever. One of the people in our group is gluten-free. So we chose this location. The vibe is incredible. Unlike most anything you’ve experienced. Move over Austin Denver is the new weird. lol. Service is incredible. Food is on point and for those that don’t like vegan vegetarian or gluten-free foods. I promise you this food is flavorful and you’ll never know the difference. Waffles are off the chart. Chicken fried cauliflower is a thing here. And it’s awesome. We will be back soon. If you’re looking for a great vibe, great food and desserts. This is a spot you have to try. Support local.

Ok listen. I've been vegan for nearly 11 years. This place is THE holy grail and standard for any plant-based restaurant. The food is off the charts, the service is excellent, the staff are all so cool, and in the decade I've been dragging friends & family here we've not once had a bad meal. "This is vegan?!" is a question I get asked every time. The consistency, quality, atmosphere, and people simply make this one of the best restaurants in the world. We're so lucky Denver has a spot that feels like it was plucked straight from the village in NYC. A truly, indisputably, iconic institution.
Maria P — Google review
Honestly the best meal I've had in awhile, didn't know Lion Mane mushroom could taste so good. I got the lion mane katsu which was absolutely delicious and filling. I rate it lower due to my sister's experience, she ordered the tomato soup and was surprised by the consistency and sauce like flavor. Though I enjoyed it she skipped the meal. Otherwise our servers were very friendly, the restaurant was covered in art and stickers, and there was plenty of interesting meals to enjoy. I liked there were ramps wherever a person needed to go up stairs. Overall great experience!

A vegan's dream. The food is amazing, service is quick and friendly, and atmosphere is chill. A must: the SARDOU is off the charts. The sauce, omg, the sauce! And the crispy potatoes. Died and gone to heaven with this dish. It's a must. A close second is the chicken and waffles. The soft serve vanilla ice cream was on our list, but we were stuffed after the meal. The group next to us got the ice cream and said it was fantastic. They do eggs and dairy cheese upon request, so if you have others going with you who just can't skip those things, trust me, this place is one of those that is awesome whether vegan or not.

Our goto each time we come to Denver. Vegan heaven! Great food, large portions, great service. Our faves are the seitan wings with both bbq and buffalo sauce, the. Bbq mac wrap, the buffalo wrap (see pics). Breakfast here is always amazing as well!

I don't even like cauliflower, but I would reorder the cauliflower "chicken" and waffles again! It was absolutely amazing! Great foods and very helpful staff! One of our party has food allergies and they helped us navigate the menu to ensure a fabulous time for everyone!

Yak and Yeti Restaurant and Brewpub is a unique blend of Nepalese and Colorado culture housed in a historic building dating back to 1864. Originally slated for demolition, the building was transformed into a restaurant while preserving its original design. Although the pandemic may have put an end to their buffet offerings, their various locations still serve authentic Indian cuisine alongside their own microbrews.
I owed two friends lunch and they both like Indian and Nepali food so this seemed like the ideal location. I had planned to order from the menu but when we passed the buffet we all decided that would offer the best choice of several dishes. We were not disappointed. One of the things that I really appreciated was the service. We took much longer to eat than I expected. I am sensitive to taking up space for too long but there were several empty tables and I felt comfortable staying longer. We were not rushed at all. There were so many dishes offered on the buffet that I can’t even remember. I sampled several and they were all delicious. There is truly something here for everyone including vegetarians and vegans.
Edward B — Google review
Really good Indo-Nepali-Tibetan food here, especially if you're vegetarian. And the beer? Awesome! They brew it themselves, and I loved the Thai Tripel. Apparently, the Chai milk stout is a big hit. Plus, they have a decent happy hour, so that's a bonus
Antonio J — Google review
Buffet or ala carte. Buffet selection was limits to curry and Indian dishes. Ample salad bar and dessert. Ala carte portions were generous. Service was great. Reservations recommended as seating was limited.
Eugenio B — Google review
The salmon was so salty it was barely eatable. As was the sauce. It tasted good otherwise though. The veggies with the salmon were too greasy to eat. Service was very slow. My friends said their food was great as always. Most of the dishes offered are dug out of the buffet. Which tastes good, but people lick their fingers and cough on the food, so I don't eat it anymore. We sat across from the bar because it was quieter there. I liked the music after they turned the speaker off at the bar that was thumping the bass. Some of the staff don't speak English but everyone was very nice otherwise. I love the house that the restaurant is in and have been going to this and their other locations for ten years or so. My two friends I went with go to the restaurants even longer, and always enjoy their meals.
DAVie W — Google review
The buffet is a great way to try different dishes. The food is very flavorful and there are items not found at other buffets. The coconut soup is delicious. There’s a good balance of vegetarian and meat dishes. Even better than I was expecting.
Mel W — Google review
What a delightful experience. We were seated upstairs in a private nook with an amazing ceiling! The staff were friendly and helped us understand the menu options and what was available on the buffet, which all 5 of us chose. The food was amazing. Hot, well spiced and delicious. The lamb and chicken in each of the dishes were tender and the sauces unique. The sweet potato masala was heavenly. The naan was amazing, crispy and tender. The house made ginger beer was wonderful.
Margy W — Google review
Have only been there once and chose the buffet, so I could try a wide variety of the menu items. The flavors were very good although surprisingly mild. I prefer spicer Indian food but was not disappointed. I suspect toning down the spice may have been more for general appeal on a buffet.. Next trip I will see if menu orders can be altered .
Bill H — Google review
The food was super delicious. There needed to be more variety. I loved the service because the servet didn't come and bug. The atmosphere was quaint but loud because the area we were seated in was small and the ceiling was at a height that kept the sound in. Overall, it was delicious and I'm definitely going back.

Highland Tavern is a low-key pub known for its extensive beer selection, hearty food options like burgers and sandwiches, and a variety of games. The tavern's signature dish is the Bombshell Sammich, featuring house pastrami, Swiss cheese, a fried egg, slaw, and brown mustard on rye bread. Additionally, their pork rinds are highly recommended as a starter snack.
I would go on a Saturday night. The food was great. Came out hot. The atmosphere was very nice not too loud. You could still have a conversation. The tavern dip is made with pastrami which is fantastic. The Tots were cooked. Well not over cooked. Parking isn’t too bad. Did have to park a little bit away but very doable. Very unique vibe.

In town, so we decided to visit a recommendation from Chef Guy Fieri. He was right, classic, good tasting pub food. It was delicious. The service was a little bit lack luster. The bartender seemed preoccupied with not being there.

Has the feel of a local bar or a classic Denver dive bar but with way better food lots of TV to watch sports. Music was good and not too loud. We had a great waitress who took care of us. I had the bombshell, macaroni and cheese, tater tots, a salad and my wife had a turkey sandwich.

I have been here twice the cowboy Burger amazing, the Cubano amazing, the tots even better, and the pork rinds are the best I have ever had

Love this place! The food, the atmosphere, the staff-all wonderful! Food is legit, not your standard Sysco fare. Tator tots, Korean ribs, and chicaronnes are a few of my personal favorites. Definitely a great place for some food, drinks, and to watch a sports game (if that's your thing) or just chat with others at the bar.

Next Door Street Bar is a casual restaurant located in a gorgeously restored historic Union Station in Denver. The menu features global street food favorites, along with a variety of American cuisine and craft cocktails. The dining experience offers vegetarian and vegan options as well. Customers have raved about the flavorful Peruvian steak skewers, dynamite dog with kimchi and maple-soy aioli, sliders, tacos, pimento cheese balls, and sticky pork buns.
This is a great spot for lunch or dinner! Great location, just across the street from Union Station. We went here before heading to a Rockies game. It’s close enough to the stadium to be convenient, and far enough away to avoid the crowds before and after games. They were able to seat out party of 8 without a reservation on a weekend, which is a big plus! Service was very pleasant and laid back. They have a hip, modern menu with a lot of options for a variety of palates. Everyone at our table loved what they got. I really loved the birria tacos. They also had a nice list of craft beers and homemade cocktails. Indoor and outdoor seating was available. We ate indoors due to the heat, and it is well appointed with a casual decor and a full bar. I would definitely go back next time we visit Denver.

The hostesses sat us very quickly and was also very friendly. Our server came to take our drink order in a timely fashion. We ordered appetizers which came out how we requested and fairly quickly. The food was seasoned well and also tasted great.

I cannot believe I've been living in Denver for over a decade and frequenting Union Station, yet never been here. Until now. The food is great and definitely won't break the bank. Try going for Happy Hour, the deals are incredible. I got their signature Double Cheeseburger, the Brass Monkey frozen slushie cocktail, and a side of fries. Everything was delicious and the staff was great. Awesome people watching spot if you're able to sit on the patio and the weather is nice. Otherwise, the interior has a lot of original character just as well. Don't wait so long to try it like I did, it's worth a trip.

Came on a Sunday afternoon about 2 p.m., and the place was pretty empty, yet we had slow service from our waiter. Although the burgers are small, they were extremely tasty and juicy, that we ate them pretty fast. The burgers do come with a side of chips; I wish they'd have fries.

First off, let me start this by saying how great the food is. The atmosphere is friendly, the styling is electic but modern, and the drinks are wonderful. We came at brunch and had an awesome experience. We will definitely be back to try to the rest of the menu!

Fantastic food and service. Ordered a simple Caesar salad and tomato soup, and both were absolutely divine. The lettuce was fresh and crisp, and the dressing was creamy. The croutons were toasted with Parmesan and light in texture. The soup was tangy, creamy, and had a wonderfully light toasted bread on the side. Cocktail list was reasonably priced and great selection of alcohol.

Hey there! If you’re in the area, you have to check out Platte River bar and grill. It’s a great place to grab lunch. We stopped by on our way to Platte River Greenway, and it’s right next to the greenway, off Santa Fe. The atmosphere is super cool, and there’s a huge outdoor deck. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the deck is super comfortable, even on hot days. Plus, there’s an entrance to the greenway right there! The food is typical bar food, but it’s tasty and served well. I had the patty melt, which was a bit bland, but it was well-made. My wife had buffalo wings, and she loved them! If you’re in the area, I highly recommend you stop by. Relax, have a drink, and enjoy some good food. You won’t regret it!

A Hidden Gem of Health and Flavor in Virginia Village Tucked away in the friendly Virginia Village neighborhood, Esters Neighborhood Pub is a true find. Our party of five recently visited and were absolutely delighted by the experience. They've just rolled out a new menu, and it's clear they've put a lot of thought into offering delicious, healthy options that don't skimp on flavor. The food was a revelation. While they are well-known for their pizzas, we dove into their new offerings and were impressed by the fresh, high-quality ingredients and creative combinations. Everything was wonderfully prepared and felt both satisfying and wholesome—a perfect balance that can be hard to find. Beyond the fantastic food, the whole experience was a win. The prices are incredibly reasonable, especially for the quality and portion sizes. It’s a great value that makes you feel good about what you’re eating and what you’re spending. Plus, the location itself is a delightful hideaway. Away from the hustle and bustle, it feels like a secret local spot, offering a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that's perfect for a get-together with friends or family. We left feeling happy, healthy, and already planning our next visit. Esters Neighborhood Pub is a must-try for anyone in Denver looking for a great meal in a great spot.

This place hasn’t had good food for years. I come in every 2 years and today I tried again. Mutant chicken. The wings are a train wreck. Beyond being chewy and feeling microwaved, you might get wings that look normal plus some mutants. Not a spot you want to come get wings. And 2 years ago the other dishes I tried had similar results. And I live literally 300’ away from this place. Ok beers and wine.

Our server didnt check in that much at all, and she never once refilled our waters. The cheese board was fresh with lots of variety, and the Brussels and Mussels were delicious. The portions were very generous as well. Definitely a good find for lunch didn't even have to wait to be seated. They also have their own little parking lot which was really nice and convenient.

I loved the place! Another visit with bRUNch running group, and another great one! While we stayed on the patio, the interior was very climatic, I would be very happy to come back just to experience it fully. The staff was friendly and helpful. We have tried the pork belly toast and fig&pig gluten free pizza. The toast was way less greasy than expected, of course super rich, but amazingingly tasty. The gf pizza has the type of crust I see all over Colorado (I'd like to learn who provides it!), and it's the good one, with characteristic smooth finish and kinda gooey inside. If you had it before, you know what I'm talking about. It's definitely the way to go if a restaurant doesn't prepare it themselves, always happy to see it. Overall, a good visit!

Service always unmatched Atmosphere is so charming Busy, fun, great spot Best pancake I've ever had, sincerely. Crispy and fluffy, I wish I could take a picture of how good it smelled Poached eggs were not runny enough for my liking. My only note

I'm a fan of the daily happy hour. The personal cheese pizza is a good deal and super tasty. Also have some decent prices on a few cocktails. We ordered a spring salad off the normal menu and was a bit disappointed with that. Overall the ingredients were not super fresh. Update 10/13: Stopped by for a Saturday brunch and had a great experience. The eggs benedict (and the potatoes that came with it) were delicious. Everyone else at the table also enjoyed their food. The breakfast old fashioned missed the mark for my taste buds - the red-hot cinnamon flavor was too overbearing. But, the bottomless mimosas for $15 were a killer deal.

Incredible! When traveling for business, one of the advantages is discovering local treasures to sample. I enjoy exploring new places and entrusting the server to select their preferred dish from the menu. Today's experience at Cho77, a compact Pan-Asian eatery, was exceptional. I indulged in delectable shrimp and pork shu mai, as well as "General Cho's" soup dumpling and stir-fried shrimp lo mein.
Unbelievable! I travel for work and one of the perks is being able to find local gems to try. I enjoy going in and having my server pick their favorite item off the menu for me. That approach did not disappoint today! I had the shrimp and pork shu mai, "General Cho's" soup dumpling, and the stir fried shrimp lo mein. While everything was delicious, the soup dumplings were, by far, my favorite. The location is small and at the time, I had the whole place to myself. The staff is very friendly and make great choices! Definitely worth a trip to try the other dumplings on the menu.

It’s our first time visiting Denver and looking at the name of the restaurant, we thought we could get some authentic vietnamese/asian food right in the downtown of Denver. We were so wrong. Dimsum dishes were served in very small portions (2 pcs/dish). This is not the way we expected to have dimsum food (normally 8-10 pcs per dish). We ordered General Cho Soup Dumpling, Pho Bao Buns, Mapo tofu, and Dan dan noodle. The dumpling was good but the starch wall was a little bit too thick. My wife’s mapo tofu was too sour and spicy, not enough sweetness. My Dan dan was good but definitely not the traditional Dandan I used to have. We also ordered coffee and Thai tea, the thai tea was so bland. The service was good, our waiter, Joseph, was very helpful the entire time we were there.

stoked Cho77 made its way to LoDo. we came in for restaurant week and tried 3/4 of the menu. everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. hands down best part was the soup dumpling and the kaya bread pudding. you won’t believe the flavor profile. outstanding. we will definitely be coming back!

Cho77 is a must! From the same owners of ChoLon, Cho77 is absolutely scrumptious! The place is cozy with a lot of energy! The drinks are delicious, the Bahn mi buns, wontons, cheeseburger whimsical, pork Lo mien, and green curry were so amazing delectable! The service was fast and friendly and the entire vibe is fun. This will become my new staple for delicious cuisine!

Extremely Disappointing As other people have mentioned in their reviews, my experience was a huge bummer. The S. Broadway location was one of my favorite restaurants in the city. I used to dream about their Thai Coconut Curry as it was one of my top 3 favorite dishes in Denver. When I heard they were opening one downtown, steps from where I work, I couldn't have been more excited. Sadly, it seems when they moved they lost their identity and what they did well. I've been twice now and I think will struggle to convince myself to go back. My first visit I HAD to get the coconut curry. The dish was fine, but I couldn't help from being disappointed in the presentation as well as the taste. They have changed the meat from chicken to beef (not sure why.) I subbed for chicken thinking it would be the same kind they used at S. Broadway but it turned out to be a grilled piece of chicken that gave the dish a much too smoky and grill kind of flavor. The sauce is the star and the chicken overpowered it by far. They also removed the pickled vegetables that used to come with the dish that were a great vinegary contrast to the curry, why take them out? When I was leaving I noticed that had Xiao Long Bao on the menu (my weakness when it comes to Asian food.) I used to be able to go to Lao Wang Noodle house (by far the best soup dumplings and potstickers you can find, it's amazing) for lunch but now that I work downtown I was excited to give Cho77 another chance to shine and satisfy my craving. The execution on the soup dumpling was so poor and so overpriced they should be charged with robbery. You get 4 for $12! At Lao Wang you get 10 of the best handmade soup dumplings for $12. $3 each for a 1 bite Xiao Long Bao is INSANE. Not to mention the texture of the noodle and the filling were nowhere near authentic enough. When it comes in those little foil cups, you know you're in for a bad time. The person who took my order also told me the salad was a decent size. I walked out of the door paying $25 for both the dishes you see below and almost walked into Chipotle to get a burrito so I wouldn't be hungry an hour from when I left. Cho77, what happened?? Why change things you do so well and try to make it something different? I would specifically come back if the Thai Curry was made the old way, but not sure if that is going to happen. The S. Broadway location was such an awesome place to eat great and get a little buzz off of Beer Lao and saki, now, it's a quick lunch place that doesn't provide a wow through the food anymore.
Scott K — Google review
I have to say, I was Cho77's biggest fan when they were still located on South Colorado and had a more extensive happy hour menu- I had some absolutely incredible food. The menu they have at the new location is still tasty, but it's a much smaller menu. I would still recommend giving this place a go if you want to figure out where to try and park in this area.

Its a modern take on vietnamese food. The restaurant is clean and very classy. The staff are nice and friendly. I ordered a spicy beef pho and it was great. Real delicious food.
Manuel G — Google review
I have been once. Wont likely be back. It is a cool room and interesting concept. But my happy hour visit want less than ideal. First, it took 5 minutes in an empty room to get the waiter's attention. We ordered four things, 40 minutes later, we had two. When I went to the counter to pay, she tried to charge us for a different check. Then, apparently, spaced happy hour pricing. I dunno. Somehow a beer and fountain drink cost 12. Oh, and I sat there and watched the person prepping food snacking while they made food. Um. Look, I get it that some nights are not the best nights for a place. But I saw at least two people that looked like managers. Makes me think that this side project for the place next door is just a second class establishment. Just not worth it. Oh, and no vegetarian options on the HH menu. These days, that is just lazy. If you ask me, find another place until they take this concept seriously.

A group of us took a trip to Denver from Atlanta and when we heard about this bar we of course had to come check it out. They have a loft upstairs that’s catered to Falcons fans. Atmosphere was amazing and so were the people we met from the owners to the regulars. Our server was nice (I wish I remembered her name) and the food was really good. You HAVE to try the buffalo chicken rolls. 10/10. We will definitely be back if we are in Denver again. Thanks for a great time!

Great spot to stop in for a night cap. We stayed around the corner at the Hostel, so the location was convenient. I got the hazy IPA on draft every night. We got the 12p to 2a burrito. It was okay. I would recommend overall. Good people and good bartender.

Didn’t have food this time but love their potato skins and chicken sandwich. Chill bar seating as well as a roof and extra seating upstairs. Overall an easy pub with friendly staff.

Food was pretty good! Nicer quality pub food than mostly anywhere I’ve been. The few floors are really nice, too. The outdoor possibility is awesome. Just one thing that threw me way off. I was there a few weeks ago for an event, and when it was time for everyone to home, one of the employees was pushing us out, and specifically saying that “go home and shoot a porno, it’s time to go home.” That is verbatim what he said. Tall white guy with a beard, the employee was. Strange to say the least. Nice all around but maybe get more normal, less out of line employees

High strung/super anxious guy missing teeth was bartending and kept loudly telling me to "calm down" because I was asking him questions/talking to him about an overcharge (overcharges happen. No big deal). I wasn't yelling. Wasn't rude. Simply inquisitive after he had a seemingly negative interaction with a coworker that was trying to clarify things for him. Wings were mediocre on top of that. Def won't be back. (I don't even write reviews bro)

Great place to get really good food and a drink. We had planned to visit after axe throwing right down the street. We had passed by but never went and soon wished that we had visited earlier. Great food and great service. Really nice to sit up roof top and look out to the West. Relaxing and our waitress made sure that we wanted for nothing. Inside had lots of character but the draw for us was the roof top. Can't wait to go back and enjoy it again.

Great Wall Chinese Restaurant is a modest eatery offering a simple menu of classic Chinese dishes, making it a convenient option for takeout. The restaurant has gained recognition for its high-quality ingredients and homey dishes, with the braised beef noodle soup being the most expensive item at just $13.95. King Buffet, located at 5220 Wadsworth Blvd.
If I was driving I don't think I would have stopped. Unfortunate this place has clearly been vandalized. It's so Unfortunate. The gentleman at the counter was helpful and had great suggestions. It was truly a Chinese atmosphere with good food being cooked. It's ashame the inside looks as if the owners have lost trust in the community. The food was amazing and HEAPING size portions. I will attach pics. The food was not clumped together nor was the rice mush. You could clearly see the ingredients and what was in both my dishes. Thank you for such a wonderful meal. Your restaurant has great food. That's at a reasonable price.

The Great Wall is a nice spot to pick up some classic Chinese food. The service Is friendly and the staff is genuine. There is no public restroom and the place isn't exactly tidy but that didn't stop me from grabbing some lo mein.

I’ve been going/eating from here a long long time. The food quality has gone down and the prices have gone up and it’s just not worth it anymore. The sesame chicken tastes good, but the breading is all soggy and about half the chicken is so overcooked it is inedible (I literally had to spit it out). The mu shu pork was so good but it was also $18 now and there’s not enough pork to make it worth that. It used to be such a good option for affordable, but maybe not perfect Chinese food. It also used to all be actually edible.

This place was way better then I expected. Food was super hot and fresh. I ordered the orange chicken extra spicy and they delivered. For $12 this was a steal. Orange chicken,lo main, and and eggroll. I will be coming back.

Wish I could give negative stars. I really wanted some NYC style chinese food and I found this place. Should of listened to the reviews that said this place went down hill. I just got done chewing a piece of chicken from my general tso's plate.... it literally never broke apart. It's seriously like rubber. No idea how old this food is. I hope I don't get sick.....
Darius R — Google review
I BELIEVE most of their food is good, I was just very disappointed when I spent like $110 & can not recommend any chicken like sesame or orange bc the meat was just very hard and I had to throw it out. Other than that their soups, wontons, egg rolls, rice, and lo mein is really good.
Mia A — Google review
It could be way better. Not a lot of flavor. Got the veggie lomein and there's hardly any vegetables in it. Crab rangoons have a strong onion taste with the cream cheese. Sweet and sour pork is unremarkable. I'd recommend making a difference choice. As you scroll the reviews, you'll see some dude commenting that its the best chinese in denver. He clearly hasn't gone anywhere else. 😐

Barbecue restaurant
Smok Barbecue in RiNo, Denver offers a unique dining experience with regional BBQ styles and craft cocktails served in a rustic-chic hotel setting. The restaurant is located inside The Source Hotel and is the brainchild of Chef Bill Espiricueta, who hails from Texas and honed his barbecue skills in Kansas City.
I'm giving it 5 stars because I think it is the best BBQ spot in Denver. What I like the most was the variety of options in the menu. They got tacos, quesadillas, and other creative menu items. The burnt ends were a bit dry but I still liked the flavor. The quesadillas were tasty and the portion was big. Cream corn had a touch of heat but was nice. The place was also spacious, with plenty of tables and seats. Overall I recommend this place.
Khaled M — Google review
Smok Barbecue serves barbecued meats at the entrance of a hotel complex in the LoDo area of town. Picture an open dining space with long tables and bench seating, music and sports playing in the background, free unsweetened ice teas and all the refillable sauces you could possibly consume. The menu is fairly straightforward: meats of all cuts, including the burnt end bits, eaten on a platter as well as being great fillings in tacos. They also have all the traditional sides people expect from a barbecue. We opted to sample a little bit of everything and were impressed by the execution across their range. All of their meats (chicken, brisket, ribs) met our expectations with their melt-in-the-mouth feel and lingering wood smoke aroma. Nothing was too salty so the best of the meat flavours came through. It was no surprise that the same meats were a great fit in the tacos. We loved our sides too: The corn bread was dense and filling. The popcorn sized deep-fried okra had a sensational mix of textures between smooth and crunchy. The refillable cups of cold tea were so light and refreshing we kept going back to the dispenser. A delightful experience overall and we would heartily recommend this to all barbecue lovers visiting Denver.

Our son lives in Colorado Springs and told me about this place. I was here working this week and didn’t get a chance to get here sooner but was determined to try it before heading to the airport. Glad I did. The atmosphere is like many BBQ places. The food is not, it’s better. Side portions are bigger than many places. Plenty of brisket on my sandwich, it came with one side, I got one extra because I couldn’t make up my mind which one. I loved the beans. Mac & Cheese was really good too.

This was the perfect place to grab lunch with friends on our trip to Devner this past April. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the option of outdoor seating on a lovely spring afternoon. There were also plenty of gluten-free and dairy-free options available on the menu. Would definitely return!
Mrs. W — Google review
When I got here the line was almost to the front door. When I finally got my food there were only 3 people in line, wish I would have waited. I got the pork sandwich, which was their special of the day, and a half pound of ribs. The best thing about my meal was the brioche bun that the sandwich was on.
Alex D — Google review
Smok barbecue is the favorite of all the spots we’ve tried around Denver. The brisket is awesome. Sleeper items are the green chili cheese fries and the cornbread. We love everything we’ve tried. Connor, the bar tender on Sunday, makes the whole experience. His John Daly may be the best in Denver.
Jason B — Google review
Alright, I really enjoy barbecue normally and look forward to getting it. I have leniency for bbq, but this place misses badly. Got brisket, since that's a great way to measure how good a place is. Mine was supremely dry even though I got the fatty/moist serving. I had to drown it in sauce to even get it down. Decent smoke flavor, terrible cook. Easily the worst brisket I've ever had. Sauces were fine, nothing special. Had gingercoleslaw as a side. Way too much mayo, very little flavor. Girlfriend got pulled pork and beans as a side. The pork was passable. At least it wasn't as dry as the brisket. The beans were pretty good, just thick like a paste. This place is not worth what they charge and I will not be going back here again. I've been to at least 15 places around the metro that I like better. Eat at the other restaurants in The Source before you consider this place.
Matt H — Google review
Discovered this amazing place while staying at the Source hotel. Best BBQ in Colorado. I had the burnt ends sandwich, okra and sweet potato tots. Everything was so flavorful with attention to detail. Even my bun was great. Loved the outdoor seating. The other diners were having fun and appeared to enjoy their meals as much as I did.

Viet's Restaurant is a no-frills eatery that offers an extensive menu of familiar and traditional Vietnamese dishes. Customers have raved about the delicious bun (vermicelli bowl with grilled pork) and the tasty and crunchy egg rolls.
One of the best vietnamese restaurants in denver! Every dish was delicious. Our waitress was super nice. I recommend Bò 7 Món, since it is a dish unique to Vietnam. There’s so many good dishes as well, and a huge vegetarian selection.

Amazing vietnamese food in nice ambience to enjoy your meal. This restaurant serves sone of the most amazing authentic vietnamese food. This was a great place, prices were okay pretty average for the type of food. Food was really good with large portions. As soon as we sat down they brought us very light Jasmine tea instead of water which was a unique touch.

First of all, the bun (vermicelli bowl with grilled pork) was amazing!! My husband loved it and the price point for it was awesome as well (10.95). The egg rolls were tasty and crunchy and good. The reason for the deduction of one star is because the pho broth here was sorely lacking. I did come in late, so I’m not sure if my broth was watered down or what happened to it, but it was one of the blandest broths I’ve ever eaten in my life. That being said, I did come in 45 min before closing. And the rest of the stars are for the service as everyone was extremely sweet! I would try their pho again to see if this time was a mistake! But I would say come here for the bun for sure 💯💯💯

Pub on Pearl is a local hangout located at the intersection of Pearl and Mississippi. It offers a relaxed atmosphere with a patio, pool tables, poker, and sports on TV. The pub has a food menu but may experience shortages in kitchen staff, affecting the availability of some items. Despite this, it's known for its friendly service and ample seating both inside and outside. Customers can enjoy drinks at affordable prices while socializing with other patrons or catching up on sports games.
Pub on Pearl has everything you could ask for - pool tables that can be modified into beer pong tables, touchtunes, arcade games, and a PHOTOBOOTH (10/10). Bethany is the most attentive and caring manager. I called last minute on a Friday to ask if I could hang up an engagement sign as a surprise for my friend, and Bethany went above and beyond to make our night amazing (reserved a pool table, offered champagne, let us decorate etc.) The atmosphere at pub on pearl is always so fun and intimate. I prefer this local bar over any bar in Denver!!

Went to this neighborhood pub at the intersection of Pearl and Mississippi on a Friday evening around 5:00. Not too crowded then and found a table for three without any wait. Opened a tab and ordered 3 pounds of wings (BBQ, Buffalo) and Cajun cheese fries with some drinks. Wings are big and saucy. Friendly service and easy going atmosphere. Lots of TVs to watch sports, and more seating, video games, and two pool tables in the rear of the restaurant. Plenty of seats inside and outside. Street parking in a residential neighborhood. Go on a Thursday night for cheap wings (with an alcoholic drink order minimum). Not too bad, will return!

I went to this place for wings and I was not disappointed. I heard they had an unlimited special but that is not until COVID is over unfortunately. But the chicken was very saucy and juicy. I like their selection beer. However, I ended up ordering one of their pitchers for my group and I was shocked by the pricing. It’s a very quaint pub that I would recommend to folks but I would suggest looking at the menu twice before ordering something at a reasonable price. Other than that, I believe they have ample indoor and outdoor seating!

The Ginger Pig, located in Sunnyside, offers a unique dining experience with its upscale twist on Asian street food. Owner Natascha Hess draws inspiration from her time living in China and traveling across Asia to create inventive dishes that reflect the culinary traditions of countries like Thailand, Japan, and Singapore. The menu features favorites from the food truck days such as Bangkok Balls and introduces new additions like the cheeseburger fried rice.
Super fun casual restaurant, all the food here is so good. You can tell the food is fusion but that is part of the fun! I love the char siu and the spicy eggplant. All the dishes I've ordered from here are very good. I love coming here every time in Denver!
Makai Y — Google review
A lively, vibrant restaurant featuring flavors from across Southeast and East Asia. We visited The Ginger Pig for a Sunday dinner — our last meal before hopping on our flights back home — after reading stellar reviews online. This Michelin Bib Gourmand spot certainly lived up to its reputation as unique, eclectic, and vibey. Their menu features fusion items from across South and Southeast Asia, encompassing noodles, rice, stir fries, and toasts. We decided to split their tom yum tofu, garlic noodles, ants climbing on a tree, and French toast. Everything was phenomenal, but my favorite had to be the tofu. I loved the spicy, savory, sweet, and fruity flavor combination from the tom yum, and the fried tofu acted as the perfect sponge to hold onto all that deliciousness. A squeeze of lime definitely helps to bring it all together, and it’s delicious either with rice or even on its own. The garlic noodles were also tasty; the noodles were a great al dente, packed with garlic, and topped with a generous portion of sweet, springy shrimp. The flavor profile was more mild overall, but it was a good counterbalance against the bolder flavors of the tofu. As we wrapped up our entrees, the bus boy came by to clear our table, and announced his arrival with, “I think charisma makes the world go round. Which is why I’m so glad the Oxford word of the year in 2023 was rizz. With that, I’m going to clear your tables now.” It was so unexpectedly hilarious, and honestly speaks to the overall vibe at The Ginger Pig — everything, from the staff to the decor, is friendly, welcoming, and fun. As a finale for the meal, we got their Hong Kong-style French toast. They typically have a smaller, less sweet appetizer version as well but were sadly out, so we opted for the dessert form instead. The toast was massive and very decadent, with a pillowy interior that perfectly counterbalanced the crunchy exterior crust. The warm toast contrasted nicely with the cold ice cream, although I think the dish is a bit too rich to have much of.

The food was really good! I went for happy hour and got to try five different things and got the cocktail special. Something about the cocktail didn’t taste right but all of the food was really really delicious and well prepared. Don’t really have any notes on any of the food. The standout menu items were the potatoes on the happy hour, The spicy noodles were amazing, And the French toast is a must try!

We were in Denver for a convention decided on company dinner. Found this place low keys fun atmosphere. Not a lot of vegan or veggie but the few options were tasty. Got the tom yum noodles and tofu. Tasted really good.

The dumplings were delicious! The stir-fried cabbage was very flavorful, with seasoning and doneness perfectly balanced — crisp and refreshing. The Ants Climbing a Tree dish was tasty but just a little bit too salty. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lovely — lively and warm. The huge neon sign in Chinese saying “吃了吗” (“Have you eaten yet?”) at the entrance was such a fun and welcoming touch, it really felt like a greeting. The staff were very friendly and attentive, which made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable.

The only photo I took was of the cucumbers cause the rest of the time I was immersed in the experience and incredible food. Great drinks and we loved the small plates so we could try a variety of things! Can’t wait to go back!

Let me tell you that no matter what dish you order here you can’t go wrong. Each dish is full of flavor and rich textures. Jeremy was so attentive and made us feel well taken care of. The drinks were delicious and do not get me started on the atmosphere and all the attention to detail in the decor. There’s a beautiful mural and even the bathrooms had amazing wallpaper. If you’re looking for authentic Asian food this is the place.

My husband and I googled restaurants close to where we were running errands and found this place. It did not disappoint! The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was great with great seating and large tvs to watch football. I definitely recommend this place to hang out with friends or a date night! ❤️

We had our food delivered. The pizza was excellent, with a perfect crust and flavorful toppings; especially after a reheat on the pizza stone. However, the wings were quite dry. And, the vegetables served alongside them were limp and old looking; definitely not edible. While the pizza is worth trying, the wings could use some improvement.

Neighborhood spot. Hamburgers, tacos, salad, wings, and pizza featured on the menu. Full bar, plenty of beers on tap. Open windows when the weather is nice. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.. great place to hangout with friends for a meal. Service was quick, seat yourself. Got a ticket for a free appetizer for next time.

It was practically empty when we were there so had no issues with the service or being waited on. It was also a Wednesday night. The wings were really good, they offer 6 different flavors to include a dry rub. If you are going to a concert and you show your ticket, you get a buy one get one drink free deal which is pretty clutch in this age of everything is expensive. Definitely would go back.

Went here for my first time today, and it is so cute! The owner, Patrick, is very nice and our waitress Kitty was knowledgeable and fun. I'm excited to take my friends here in the future. Happy hour was great pricing. The food was fabulous, cheap, and big portions.

Hilarious response from ownership: “We use real chicken and keep the small chicken off the sandwiches, our fried chicken is some of the best in Denver” LMAO false, Chicken sandwich was so sad… the patty was so small in every dimension, smaller than the palm of my hand, thinner than the palm of my hand, and as a result it was overcooked and dry. Everything else was really good though sadly. The fries were nicely cooked and salted, the bun was great for a chicken sandwich, the pickles and aioli were great together, but the chicken was missing. The star of the dish was just not present. For $15!!! We all know a place nearby we can get a bigger and better fast food sandwich for half the price…. I don’t plan on coming back as I am trying to find a restaurant in the area that actually has a good fried chicken sandwich that beats a fast food restaurant.

Warm and cozy hang with excellent drink selection including a delicious and expertly crafted “Aviation”. Food features American and Italian favorites like gourmet burgers and pizza. We ordered the PROSCIUTTO & PEAR and ROCKET pizzas and had to stop ourselves from eating too much because it was so good. We also had the calamari which was very fresh and perfectly cooked. Great job Ritual!

The Brutal Poodle is a unique gastropub that offers a blend of inventive cocktails, beer, and delicious food in a quirky, rock-themed setting. Owned by members of the Denver band Son Survivor, this establishment features dog-themed art on the walls and a classic sunken bar. The menu includes loaded tots, flavorful green chile, and metal-inspired specials. The restaurant also boasts an extensive selection of unpretentious drinks and Colorado beers.
Love this place. It’s definitely a heavy metal Headbanger atmosphere. It’s too bad It’s not bigger. It looks like it would be a great place to have a stage and live music. But starting out with a five star review, the food was exceptional. We got the Pork green chili tater tots to start followed by the homemade battered buffalo chicken sandwich. It was exceptionally good and lightly drizzled with buffalo sauce. I probably would’ve asked for a little extra sauce, but was content. The french fries were not shoestring but skinny fries, piping hot with salt and pepper which I really liked. We also got the gluten-free brisket mac & cheese with green chili, which was exceptional. The brisket was better than what we’ve had at some barbecue joints and would highly recommend it.
Todd G — Google review
The food took a long time to arrive, and when it did, my brisket sammy and tater tots were cold. The gluten free bread here is not that good- it’s dry. The candied pork belly wedge and the hotbox mac and cheese were both very good. The restaurant was really cold, and the music is super loud. While the food was decent, all the other factors make it a 3 star.

This was such an awesome spot. We were so hungry after a long day of snowboarding. Perfect spot for the best food in town. A few of us had the brisket sandwich, which was so yummy. The meat was perfectly done, and the flavor was amazing. The sweet potato fries were so delicious. They also had one of the best Moscow mules. Our server was really good, very attentive, and offered good suggestions. Thank you, Denise! We will be coming back to this spot for sure. Really enjoyed all the food.

If you like metal music and yummy food, this place is for you. I enjoyed the moody ambiance, tastefully hung art and cool band posters. It was clean, the employees were attentive and had an eclectic mix of patrons. The skull bead on my sandwich toothpick was a nice touch. Happy hour every day from 11-6! Plus, they serve Malort. 💀🤘🏽

Haven’t been for a few years. Wife can’t eat spicy but they do have non spicy and it is all good and the best price in town for the high quality food that they serve. Had the Gwarled Cheese. It has pork belly and several cheeses. So good! Chili relleno’s were delicious. The price is too low for the quality of food. Service is always the best. Personal, prompt and so nice! Little dark but I love this place.

I put off coming here for a while out of nerves and it’s the worst mistake I’ve ever made. The food is incredible especially the fries with green chili and if you come for drinks just pray that you get Dakota as your bartender. His drinks are the best and he’s so charming and personable you feel like you’re talking with a friend the moment he greets you. So get the fries, try something new, and ask for the bartenders recommendation while you headbang and hang and always always always tip your server

The Brutal Poodle is an awesome bar off S Broadway that has great drinks, great food, and most importantly blasting metal music! There are not many metal-themed bars in Colorado in general but this one does it right. As a metalhead myself, it’s always nice coming here and socializing with fellow metal lovers. If you’re feeling uneasy about checking this place out, you really shouldn’t. Everybody is super welcoming and nice. Another reason you should check this place out is because Ben kills it behind the bar. No matter how busy it gets or how much help he has, or doesn’t have, he will make sure to take care of you. They also have a decent sized patio to enjoy the nice weather outside or to soak in the weekend night air.

The Brutal Poodle was the most unexpected celiac friendly restaurant that I have ever been to. My 7 year old daughter has celiac disease and after our 2 night stay at a Denver Hampton watching her older sister taking full advantage of the waffle bar, it was our mission to find a gluten free waffle before leaving the city. After a few phone calls, we found ourselves being walked to our table by the tattooed host of a death metal themed pub with music my kids have never heard before. I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. Then came our waiter. He kneeled down next to my youngest daughter, looked her right in the eyes and told her, not us, everything they could do gluten free for her. It was impressive!!! Dedicated fryers, dedicated grill, gluten free buns for the burgers, gluten free noodles for the Mac and cheese! They had waffles and chicken tenders! I don’t think there was a single item on the menu that they couldn’t do for her! And to top it all off, it was a great experience and a teachable moment for my family to learn that just because something seems hard or rough on the outside, it doesn’t mean it’s not kind and thoughtful or caring on the inside. The Brutal Poodle did right by my daughter and our family and I highly recommend it!!! 10/10.

First time here in about 10 years (I might be exaggerating)... But it was a great vibe for any sports experience. I would definitely come back. Their philly egg rolls are absolutely out of this world! I would go back, just for those! I'll repeat for the NBA playoffs!

First time here today and the atmosphere was great. Pretty typical sports bar feel with lots of TVs playing various channels. The service was really good and surprisingly fast considering you seat yourself. I like seating myself but never know if wait staff will notice a new person. They did, and approached me for a drink order very quickly. I ordered a teriyaki bowl (which is obviously pretty out of place next to the wings, burgers, and fries. The bowl was so tasty I had to take a pic and a write a review. $15.50 ain't too bad either for the size.

The food was decent, but the service was lacking. Our server, who had long dark hair, seemed more focused on chatting with the bartender than attending to our table. Pricing was in line with expectations. Gluten free option available which was nice.
SkiGal89 — Google review
We came for an Avs playoff game tonight and were very excited to try the place as it has come recommended to us by coworkers. And we are VERY UNIMPRESSED. The food and drinks were good. But the service was awful. We were serviced by a woman named Savannah and waited 35 mins to get our drink order placed. It took another 20 to get our first round of drinks and an extra 15 for food. So over an hour for food and drinks to be ordered and served at our table. Another round was ordered which was quicker. But when it was time to get the check we had to stop her to twice to get our check after 20 mins of looking for her and 20 mins after our card was out to get her to run the bill. Mind you we did not leave at the end of the game. We left mid game and she did not pay any attention to us. On our almost 3 hour stay at the restaurant we talked to her a total of 4 times including the check. We will be going across the street to JD’s where the service is significantly better. I cannot rave about JD’s enough. Please do not come here.

Ordered a meatball sub, which was good. It tasted similar to Fire House Subs meatball sandwich. The price wasn't too bad for a bar. US Thai Cafe is a popular, no-frills Thai restaurant located in Edgewater, right by Sloans Lake. Since its opening in 2006, it has been known for its spicy renditions of classic dishes like tom kha, larb, green curry, drunken noodles, and pineapple fried rice. The menu comes with a warning about the spice level and advises first-time visitors to go mild.
Hands down the best Thai spot in Denver. Not only is it the only place that when I order Thai hot, I actually get Thai hot that makes me sweat, but they are consistent in flavor. Great price point, great flavor, great service, and great consistency. Can't ask for more.
Travis — Google review
I gave this place a few chances and it honestly sucks. I ordered lad nah and received a soupy container of broken noodles for $15. The service is terrible, they blamed me for ordering tofu and said they always make it this way. I guess they just make crappy food at a bad value. Cheap business owners that dont take pride in their food. Would not recommend. It’s soooo overhyped and gone downhill when new owners took over post covid.
Bonn B — Google review
10/10 for the food; I’m a Thai connoisseur and this place was where I believe I originally fell in love with Thai food. Even the medium is pretty spicy! The dining room is loud so if you have sound sensory issues, order your food to go or try for outdoor seating. The chairs scooting on the hard floor is ear piercing.

Hidden gem of a family run and well crafted Thai dining. We especially love the Drunken Noodles, chicken pot stickers, but haven’t had a meal be a disappointment yet.

Really nice atmosphere, I thoroughly enjoyed the Pad Thai I got. I did thai Hot with meat combo. I also ordered the wantans as well. They are some of the best i've ever had. Would highly recommend it for an authentic Thai food experience.

Our first visit to this very popular spot located in Edgewater. Area is very trendy with lots of outdoor seating. We ordered the pork egg rolls, which were so freaking good! Also tried the drunken noddles with chicken, pad soy, and Thai fried rice, all with medium spice. Spice level was pretty dang hot but not enough to ruin dinner. One of our guests had HOT spice and it kicked hard. Food was fresh and very tasty. I am not a Thai expert so it was hard to give 5 stars but probably could have been 5. I also prefer to enjoy wine while eating a nice dinner and they do not serve alcohol or allow BYOB. Expect a long wait for food to be served.
JD J — Google review
I’m very particular about my Pad Thai, and this is one of my favorite places to get it! It’s so flavorful and satisfying, to definitely one of the top three Thai spots I recommend to people. You can really tell everything is made with intention and care.
Alexandria C — Google review
In short, this is the best Thai food in the Denver area and at an unbeatable price. From appetizers to curries to noodle dishes, everything is top notch, and they certainly bring the heat. Mild plus is recommended to start -- put your pride aside and come back for medium or hot if the dishes are not spicy enough for you (some "medium" dishes are probably spicier than you would get at other restaurants -- a medium papaya salad nearly killed me in a good way). Minimal decor and amenities for the in person dining experience are offset by incredibly fast service (expect long lines on weekends, they are super popular!) and authentic, delicious food.

Outlaw Wings Broomfield is a local gem that offers a unique and diverse selection of wings. The restaurant has a dive bar ambiance and is located in an unconventional mini-mall setting. Customers can choose from various sauces to coat their wings, with the Reaper sauce being a standout for its deliciously spicy kick. The menu also includes sides and boozy drinks to complement the wings. Outdoor seating is available, making it a great spot for enjoying flavorful wings in a relaxed setting.
Super fantastic! Used to go to other wing places, but this is my new fave place now really unique sauces. Really love the blueberry sauce. My only complaint is we ordered fried pickles and you had to actually buy ranch dressing to go with them they really should come with a side of dipping sauce We had the blueberry sauce, the garlic Parmesan, and the teriyaki wings !
Marie — Google review
This is a wing place where you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. Not much personalized service. It’s a small place with a little bar in the back and plenty of TVs to watch sports from anywhere within. They have big, juicy wings that come with more than enough sauce. We tried the honey buffalo and medium wings. Both sauces were good. And the regular fries.
Ashley M — Google review
Had this saved on my Google maps cause it was highly recommended. Was it worth the half hour drive? No. Were they good wings for the price? Yes. Took nearly half an hour to come out. The inside dining is clean and reasonably spacious with outside benches. Wings were crispy and decent size. Cajun wings were well seasoned. I should’ve gotten a different flavor other than Parmesan. The waffle fries were different than I’ve had them elsewhere(good thing, seemed to be pancake battered). I think the wait time, driving a half hour to get there and the flavor choices affected the overall experience. They are on par with Fire Wings, and definitely better than wingstop. I would recommend but wouldn’t drive back again to eat here.

Been dying to try this place, the Denver foodie wasn't wrong it's such a good place. We ordered the truffle fries with 20 pieces of wings, and flavored with Cajun and their hot. We also added on inferno sauce on the side. The truffle fries, I wish we each had our own cause they were just THAT good. Cajun wings was a dry rub, and if you're like me and the hubs you dip it and it goes great with the inferno the Cajun dry rub compliments that sauce so fine. The hot wings, they were all individually sauced so perfectly! And that inferno sauce is so good has the killer kick with great flavors. It was our first time so we wanted something familiar. Next time we go back. We're gonna trying the mango habanero and spicy garlic Parm and the jalapeno poppers with 2 orders of truffle fries! High recommend this place!

Whether you prefer the original round deep-dish pie or the newer rectangular Sicilian style, you can expect a well-risen and airy crust that's filling but not heavy.
Amazing! It was sooo delicious. I've never had wings that were so tasty ever! The Buffa Q sauce was delicious! So is the ranch we also had Sicilian style mile high and margarita pizza. All delicious very filling. Great atmosphere and great food. Bring your appetites tho!

Came to this restaurant as a party of three on a Saturday evening expecting it to be crowded, but kind of surprised that there was only one other table being used. The atmosphere is laid back and bright inside, with plenty of seats and tables. You can order either a personal size pizza, or a large pizza. We ordered the Caesar salad ( with kale?) and the Mile High pizza on a hand tossed crust. The bill came to $40-plus and then tax, tip, and an extra 3% added by the restaurant for some kind of cost of living fee for their staff Overall, the food was good and service was friendly.

Well here was a place that I had high hopes for. This was a visit with a friend that was planned for over a month. Greeted by the hostesses and they were great. We decided to sit outside to enjoy the nice evening. The waiter was quick to ask about drinks and when we were ready to order we requested separate checks as we were expecting to have to go orders as well. Two orders, one small deep dish pizza and an order of wings. The wings came out shortly but no pizza, I stepped away to wash my hands expecting that the rest of the order would be at the table by the time I returned. Nope, still only wings on the table. When we asked about the missing pizza we were told that was still eight minutes out because those took a little longer to cook. I asked that the wings be remade and brought out with the pizza as I found it unreasonable that two meals could not make it to the table at the same time. The pizza and wings were brought to the table and I asked if the wings were remade or just warmed over. Unfortunately the wings were just kept warm while the pizza finished cooking. At least both meals were on the table at the same time now. My friend said that the pizza was very flavorful with a good crust. The same cannot be said about the wings, they were dry but did have a hint smokeyness. There were eight wings in the order as can bee seen in the photo that I have in the review. Sadly management at Crush determined that remaking eight wings was not acceptable and therefore I had what I feel was a substandard meal. Dry warmed over wings. Remember that there would not have been any issue if the dinners were simply served in unison. Who would really believe that serving two dinners 12 minutes apart was acceptable to begin with? We did order the take out and this included another deep dish small pizza and an order of wings. Timing the take out order it took 35 minutes for the pizza to make it to the table. It is worth mentioning that both orders were brought to the table at the same time. The waiter did refill our drinks while we waited. We paid the bills and listened to the Wednesday evening trivia that was being broadcast over the outside speakers. We left disappointed and wondering if this could have been a much better experience. I believe that it could have been if even a minor amount of courtesy had been applied.

I was really surprised at how good the food is at the Pub on Penn. The tacos are some of the best I’ve had. We were staying at the Capitol Hill Bed & Breakfast and wanted a quick bite late in the evening. The Pub is very close so we gave it a try and now I would probably go out of my way to go back for the tacos!

There was not very many people in there, and there’s no wonder why. Not only did it take a while to get service, but they were rude about it. We are ordering with drinks, and it seem to be an inconvenience. They did not have any type of seltzer or twisted tea type of options. The best they could do was lemon vodka, and either lemonade or tea as a suggestion. Was not very clean in my opinion. I definitely will not be going back. The restroom was horrible and the door would not shut.

Great local pub vibe. I’ve stopped by twice this weekend and love having it as my go-to neighborhood bar. You really can’t beat the location, being close to everything Capitol Hill has to offer, but nicely tucked away on a side street, adding to its neighborhood feel. The staff is super friendly, remembering me after just my first visit and making sure to attend to me quickly even when I come in alone with a book. Although it has a dive bar thing going on, the food is excellent and fresh. A huge thumbs up to the French fries - warm and crispy! Given its sports bar leaning the place can attract a bit of a rowdy crowd once in a while, but more often than not it’s super chill and a great place to hang on a hot afternoon. I am so glad to have this bar as my regular local hangout and look forward to reporting on how it compares to other places on Capitol Hill.

Probably one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. Food was delicious, unique, and fun. The Hip Hop atmosphere was fun. I’m a hip hop head so. The staff was pleasant and seemed to be having fun too. The food was unique and delicious. We shared the beef stir fry noodles, scallion pancakes, and the wings. I can’t wait to go back.

I like the atmosphere in this restaurant, very vivid, different from a traditional Asian restaurant. But unfortunately I can't say the same thing for the food I ordered. The noodles was too salty and oily . The fried rice was also overly salted. The spicy chicken bao had a very unique flavor which I don't like. The only one that was tasty is the green onion pancake. The service was good. But different waiters and waitress would come every 10min to check if we need anything. It is nice they want to make sure the customers are happy, but personally I felt the frequency was too high.

The hype is totally right about this place. So glad we finally stopped in! Mala wings were great, Bao buns, dumplings, and star of the show were the spicy noodles. YUM! Also, fair prices for high quality food. We love to see it!

Such a wonderful restaurant! Me and two friends visited today for the first time and it just so happened to be the first day of their anniversary celebration! We got the crab and cheese wontons, Chinatown dumplings, scallion pancake, and the pork belly bao and everything was delicious. We were helped by multiple people, and from the time we walked in to the time we left we were very well taken care of and made to feel so welcome :) everything on the menu sounds so delicious and I can't wait to come back and try more!! (Apologies for the half eaten photos, we got too excited 😜) **Edit: I forgot to mention that they took care of one of our food items on the bill! Nothing was wrong at all- it was just a very kind gesture and something we really appreciated. Everyone there is so lovely and kind!!

MAKfam is a Michelin BiB restaurant so I had to check it out. They have a very broad range of diverse Asian fusion dishes that are mind blowing. Lots of flavour and texture. The service was very friendly and helpful at the bar. The vibe is simple. Clean and well lit. Nothing fancy. Just good food. 5 x 🍲🍲🍲🍲🍲

This has been my favorite restaurant in Denver for a while now! They’ve god dishes and drinks that I’ll just crave and can’t get anywhere else! The service is always friendly, and even though it’s gotten a lot busier since its Michelin recognition, the vibe has remained pretty down to earth and friendly/welcoming. Some fave foods: Corned Beef FR; Scallion Pancakes; Sizzling Spicy Noodles; and Málà Mozzarella Sticks. They’ve also got great cocktails and a lot of natural wines. I recommend going on a non-weekend day if you don’t want a short wait, or want a quieter visit. To order food there you’ll be sat at a table so you can look at a menu, then you walk up to the front and order. They’ll give you a placard to mark your table and bring out food and drinks as they’re prepared.

Nut allergy friendliness: I noted my nut allergy at the counter and had no problems! They're phenomenal with allergies here, labeling every dish. Order to Food: 10 Minutes Order to Cocktails: 15 Minutes We arrived at 6:30PM on a Saturday and parked in the neighborhood nearby. Surprisingly had no wait (we were expecting at least a half hour) and we got counter seating for 2. The music is a bit loud here. We weren't that hungry but still ended up spending a pretty penny for food and drinks. For two people, we split: - Fancy Wun Tun Tong (3.5/5): Make sure to eat this with the sauce and some soup (like a punctured soup dumpling) for maximum flavor. The texture of the dumpling was thicker than expected and had a nice chewiness. I'd say it was a tasty bite but for $4 per bite (4 dumplings), I wouldn't buy it again. - Sizzling Spicy Noodles (4.5/5): I thought this was excellently balanced on spice and flavor. A great serving of noodles that was quite sharable. Definitely would order this again, way better value than the dumplings. - Marinated Shiitake Bao (3/5): Honestly, I was expecting some more depth from this. It's exactly what it sounds like, though. The mushrooms were tasty and it was a packed enough bao, but it needed something to add a texture or flavor kick. Maybe for $3 I'd buy it again. - Shredded Pork Belly Bao (4/5): I'd definitely order this again over the mushroom bao, but the pork belly fell a bit flat in tenderness. It was a bit dry, but I guess this isn't Texas barbecue. - The Fortune Teller (3.5/5): I thought the Ube foam was the most unique part of this. Otherwise, it kind of just tasted like a slightly alcoholic tea? I got some faint notes of the coffee liqueur in bitterness but not too much. - MSGin (3/5): Okay, this one we just ordered because it was funny. It was basically a juiced up gin martini but the MSG rim was actually not bad. I wouldn't order it again though. Total ~$84 for two people. Overall, I'd come back for the main noodle dishes but would say the cocktails were a unique one-time taste and the appetizers could be better for the cost.

This is a small quaint chic restaurant serving great Chinese food in non-traditional small and big plates fashion. Some of the favorites from the group included the pork belly bao, Mala wings, beef glass noodles, Chinatown dumplings, and the mozzarella sticks (yes!). The chef worked under David Chang of Momofuku fame. And the music was definitely non-Asian with a blend of 80s to hip-hop.

Campus Lounge is a laid-back hangout in Bonnie Brae, offering a relaxed atmosphere and a patio for enjoying classic cocktails and New American comfort food. Despite changes in ownership, this neighborhood spot has stood the test of time since it was founded by former pro hockey player Jim Wiste. It's a popular spot for hockey fans to gather on game days while savoring bar favorites like smoked wings and Friday night steak specials.
What a great low key spot. I love a dive var more than anything amd this place is cute. Bathrooms were clean and smelled clean! Pool table; games and the food was prefect bar food simple but good. Service was friendly and prompt.

Food was good, though it took a while to arrive. Waitress, while friendly, never asked if we wanted another beer. The answer would've been Yes, so I guess we saved money by not being asked, nor upsold. There's a semi-shared outdoor patio space with coffee shop next door, single pool table, board games, arcade games and hunting decor as well as old DU sports pics. I'll probably be back.

This place is pretty good. It has a nice atmosphere, an arcade, which is fun for kids, (though most of the games were broken), and the food was good! I got a cheeseburger with bacon on it, and it came out in a reasonable time, and tasted pretty good! Overall, this place is pretty fun! It was a bit loud, probably because of the Sunday Night Football, but it was a good experience!

This is my local hang-out . Wonderful atmosphere, and the service is the best! Beer selection is very good. But, a recent menu change has left out some of my "go to" selections -- the fried chicken salad and the tacos. Hope they bring 'em back.
Rick R — Google review
I ordered the hot honey fried chicken salad, which is supposed to come with a glaze. The waitress even asked if I wanted the glaze, but the dish arrived without it. It took about 10 minutes before she checked back, and instead of fixing the issue properly, she just brought a ramekin of glaze on the side. To make matters worse, I found a hair in my salad right away. I tossed it aside because I was hungry and tried to keep eating—only to find another hair shortly after. Don’t recommend

Campus Lounge is an interesting spot, but interesting in a Dos Equis Man type of way. The outside screams Dive Bar, but the inside says “we are a bar with good food and family friendly” which was unexpected, but not a bad thing at all. The bartender was great and the bathroom mirror was a great place to snap a quick selfie and let everyone know that you were at the Campus Lounge.

Grillin' Wings & Things is a laid-back spot offering a variety of classic chicken wings and unique "pig wings." What sets their chicken wings apart is that they are grilled to lock in the flavor of your chosen sauce. If you're feeling adventurous, try their famous Pig Wings for a tender treat. Despite its unassuming exterior, the place is clean with friendly and efficient staff.
Best pig wings I found in Denver absolutely delicious always fresh always hot. Getting a lot and taking some home is never a bad thing in my opinion and the fact that you can choose from over 15 sauces is amazing.
Nicholas B — Google review
We ordered some wings from them through grub hub. We ordered mango habanero but they came dry with the sauce on the side. The container with the sauce only came half full so there was not enough for the amount of wings. We poured it over the wings as you can see in the pictures but it wasn’t enough. I’ve never ordered wings that came dry with the sauce on the side. Called them to complain and he tried saying that we were full of it because he made the wings himself. Not sure who I talked to but he was rude and basically called us liars. You can see in the pics where we put the sauce on and where there was none to begin with. Can’t really say if they are very good because they are pretty bland.
Marcos — Google review
This is a very unassuming location. If you looked at it from the outside and judged it. You'd be missing out. the wings and pig wings are huge. You definitely get what you pay for. You might feel a shell shock when you see the price. But don't worry they take care of you . I thought it was very hole in the wall from the outside. It was super clean on the inside. The staff is very friendly and prompt. Waiting on food is average for wings about 15 minutes. The sauce has to be home made. I got the mango habenero. Not super spicy ,a great compliment of flavors. I will be coming back

Small wings place, not a huge menu but it's a nice variety to choose from. Went with the lunch special for a total of 13 bucks. Good choice for a lunch. Service was pretty quick. Cleanliness was average. While I was here 90 % of the patrons were middle/high school kids so it was pretty loud inside.

Great local place for wings. They also have shrimp, a kids menu, dessert, salads and wraps. They also have pig wings! TVs playing sports. There were more tvs on the other wall that aren't pictured here. Saw a lot of Postmates/ GrubHub orders coming through while we dined. Unique sauce flavors. Lots of other sides besides fries.
Rebeca — Google review
If you’re looking for some quality chicken (or even pork) wings, this is the place! They have about a dozen or so sauces for you to choose from, and their wings are finished on a grill, locking in flavor and giving the meats a unique texture. The sauces (which you choose at ordering) are provided for you to dip into, allowing for a more customized flavor experience, and possibly a little less mess on your fingers. Some people don’t like that though, so just know what you’re getting yourself into ahead of time.

While maintaining its classic offerings like the buttermilk fried chicken, the menu also showcases seasonal produce from local farms.

Great bite to eat and not crazy expensive! Not tons of sitting room but they do have a few tables and chairs. The guy at the front was helpful and friendly, the Buffalo chicken sandwich was delicious as well as the BLT-only note you could make for the BLT is definitely could use more B. If you're a pickle fan, you have to grab some extras - so good. The chicken tender 3 piece was the perfect size for my 6 year old. Adding a juice option to your drinks could be cool, my kiddo doesn't drink soda so he had a water bottle. I can definitely see why they took home best chicken 🐔 definitely give them a try if you can

Friendly and helpful staff, pricing is a bit whack for myself but the food was decent, the chicken was juicy and slightly flavorful, the homemade sauces were also good. 4.5/5. Super solid spot. I came here on a whim when I saw their sign said they were rated the best chicken sandwich in Denver for 2023 so I had to give it a try. In all honesty - it’s definitely up there. Kind of a unique take on the chicken sandwich - a more filling/drunk food-esque vibe in the best possible way. I also tried the wings and they were good, but not stellar. Both the chicken sando and the wings were a little steep in price. Sando was $12.99 without fries (steep, but probably worth it still to at least try once imo), and the wings were $10 for 6 pieces (not worth the price imo). Overall, go try the chicken sandwich - it’s great. I know I’ll be back.

The best chicken sandwich place around. We live downtown and have tried every chicken sandwich joint there is - this is the best. And in a wild turn of events, their grilled cheese is also so so good. We get one every time. I almost didn’t write a review because I wanted it to be a hidden gem, but it’s just too good fr.

Pretty close to the real Korean fried chicken experience right here in south Denver. All the crispiness and flavor with the pickled radish to cut the fat. Delicious wings every time I order! Every flavor is amazing and the wings are absolutely covered in seasoning. Their portions are great and it's easy to order different flavors if you have friends coming over to share! 10/10 best wings in Denver, and great to order out for a get together with the homies. Joan R — Google review
I've only eaten here once before tonight, and won't ever be ordering again. The establishment is extremely uninviting, it's very dusty and cluttered with junk, plus the service was rude. I noticed I was paying $10 per sandwich (we bought 3x sandwiches) and asked if they'd raised prices. She said she didn't know. So I placed the order, and while waiting, I checked the price for carryout on Grubhub which is how we'd ordered previously. The sandwiches are $8 ($2 less) if you order takeout from Grubhub. When I pointed this out, she claimed that it's not their website and they don't make the prices. Well, that's inaccurate, the restaurants DO make the prices for Grubhub. She either didn't know and was talking out of her... cheek. Or she just flat out lied. But she was NOT going to adjust the price of my sandwiches. I could have just canceled the order, stepped outside and reordered on Grubhub to save $6, but I didn't think of that through my irritation. When we got the food, the the bun was soft and tasty... However, the brisket meat was NOT good, it was dry and smothered in sauce, which tasted very generic. The meat serving was super skimpy, like the amount you'd put on a slider, not a big bun. But like I said, I have no complaints about the bun. Don't recommend the place and won't be going back, ever.

TRASH. These wings had to have literally been cooked 100 degrees over done. Dry and shrunken. XX hot not spicy in the least. Jamaican jerk was way off. How hard is it to cook wings when that’s what your establishment is for? Fire your entire kitchen and teach them.. 165 DEGREES… FFS!!

The restaurant exudes a moderately upscale atmosphere, attracting well-dressed patrons and often experiencing high demand for tables. While parking can be challenging, the friendly and knowledgeable staff, along with standout dishes like scallops and sushi, contribute to an exceptional dining experience.
Can’t say enough good things about Departure. From the food and the staff to the ambiance, this place crushes it. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the food is incredible and restaurant itself feels cool without being pretentious. Scallops and short rib are all stars and the chicken wings might be the best in town. We had a party of twelve and they handled it like pros. The space works really well for large parties. Enough space to feel comfortable and still be able to hear everyone without feeling like you need to shout. We had some questions about the sake menu and the staffs recommendations were on point. Great experience all around.

Great spot for breakfast. Cherry creek location. On the trendy side. Trendy location. But nice atmosphere for breakfast in the summer. Big door open to the outside. Few patio tables. Fast friendly and attentive service. Food was great. We had spinach bacon omelette and French toast. Coffee wasn’t my favorite but it’s personal pref. French toast was best!!

The food really exceeded my expectations. Everything had great flavor, and was well prepared. I had the fried chicken dish for brunch which was stellar, but unfortunately the picture turned out blurry. Only thing I would change is taking the basil off of the pancakes. I love seasoning and herbs but that flavor does not belong. A bite of basil with those throws off the whole flavor profile of the dish. Still a great experience and really helpful staff. Parking wasn't to hard to find on a Sunday morning around 10am and the metered spots are free on Sundays.

I went here with my brother for brunch and was expecting really bougie, watered down pan-Asian food in Cherry Creek and my assumptions were proven wrong. Staff was super nice and knowledgeable and the food was fantastic! The Korean friend chicken was so tender on the inside. They also have menus to accommodate gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan folks.

Moderately upscale place. Other customers were in fashion clothes vs our denim. Very crowded for a weeknight. Had to negotiate a 45 min table space. Took it, and food arrived quickly in succession. I liked the scallops and sushi, and the coconut + ice cream desert hit the spot. Parking in the area can be tough. If you have a reservation, plan on 15-20 mins of driving around looking for a spot. Was playing moderately loud Euro club music when we were there.

I'm so surprised by the low reviews of this restaurant because it is so delicious and inexpensive! For $7, you can get a combo with two entrees, rice or noodles, and a fried wonton or egg roll. The portions are very large. I got the sesame chicken and kung pao chicken. The sesame chicken was so crispy without being too sweet. I'll definitely be coming here regularly!

😆🤣 You get what you pay for.🤷🏿‍♀️ Pros: Hella Lo Main or Rice. They fill up the tray 75%. So you'll have more to throw away.😁 It's not dirty. It's not clean either, but it's not dirty. FREE FORK and napkins!!🥳 The sesame chicken has so little chicken I believe a vegan could eat it. Look at the pic, Where's the chicken? 😟 I don't what kind of "chicken" is in the mushroom chicken...but it's pink, not like undercooked, like the crayon light pink. I imagine it's the same "chicken" Taco Bells nuggets are made of. 🤔 The "spring roll" was 100% cooked...this morning and left under the lamp till I got there. Now you use yesterday's rice for fried rice I know...but it's not supposed to be the day before the day before yesterday. Failing at fried rice at an Chinese "resturant" is INSANE. 😵‍💫 THE soda is a Big K. And there's not even 1 of the new flavors. I mean if you're going to buy cheap at least branch out no? Overall the dead eyed stare of the clerk, as she mumbles through the "food" order, is just what I needed to drive down the street and get an actual lunch. Yall have been in this area for awhile. The food and service shows what you think of it. This is my first and last visit. I wishing you all the best, and a health inspection.😘😁

Best little hole in the wall Chinese I think I’ve ever had!! The food was still hot when I got home (30 min drive with traffic) and super delicious! The wontons were much better than anywhere I’ve ever had. I will say there is a little spice to almost all of the chicken options, but nothing overpowering. They greeted me with a smile when I walked in the door, and were very friendly. I placed the order online and in just 7 minutes it was ready!! I’m amazed with this place and will be going back. I also got everything for just $16!!!

Go somewhere else. This place is filthy! The chicken was cold and bland. The BBQ pork smelled like dirty pig, and it squeaked when you chewed it. They aren't friendly at all and seem upset that you are there.
Anthony H — Google review
. My family and I originally came here because of the price and generous portions. About a month ago, the prices went up by a dollar, which I thought was reasonable given the amount of food they used to serve. However, since the increase, the quality of portions has noticeably changed. Now, the plates are piled high with rice or lo mein—clearly the cheapest fillers—while the actual entrées are served in very small portions. For example, I counted only five pieces of orange chicken on my plate. The broccoli beef was mostly broccoli with just four tiny slivers of beef. On top of that, items like wontons or egg rolls, which most people enjoy with sweet and sour sauce, don’t include the sauce. If you order two egg rolls and two wontons, expect to pay an extra $1.50 just for sauce. With the current prices and reduced entrée portions, the value just isn’t there anymore. For only a couple of dollars more, you’re better off going to Panda Express, where the portions and balance of food are much more satisfying.
