Chop Shop Casual Urban Eatery (Lowry) is a laid-back dining spot that offers a variety of creative gourmet entrees, rice bowls, sandwiches, salads, and desserts. Chef Clint Wangsnes brings his expertise to this casual eatery, where you can enjoy chef-driven dishes with a healthy twist. The menu features items like smoked chicken pastrami and imaginative salads alongside hearty favorites such as short ribs cooked for 48 hours and the signature Chop Shop Burger.
The melon margarita blew me away first thing and then my meal arrived so quickly. I was extremely satisfied with the quality of the flavorful food. I loved eating in the restaurant after many of years of taking getting takeout. Their flatware is exceptional.

4.5 stars! I tried something completely new, and really liked it! I ended up going with the Mediterranean sandwich, and it was pretty good! My only critique is to possibly increase the amount of sauce due to the size of the chicken making it slightly dry, however the flavors were great!!!! I don't usually like onions in my food, but these really added to the flavor. I would definitely eat here again :) the cashier was also very kind and gave us free fountain drinks :)) The sides selection was very enticing, I ended up getting the Parmesan fires which were pretty good! I definitely want to try the other options!

Tried this place out on Sunday for the first time and was so impressed! Had the Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf and Brussel Sprouts which were both super excellent! Decided to return on Monday to try out the Veggie burger and it was so perfect! Going back today for the French Dip. 3 trips in one week might be excessive, but for the quality, price, and ever smiling employees I might just go once more before the week is out! Oh and don’t sleep on the Cheesecake Chimichanga! Update 8 hours later: Just ate there again! Xay is always so courteous and fun to interact with! 10/10

Amazing food! Very creative ideas on some menu items with some typical favorites so a nice variety for everyone to choose. High and low top tables, outdoor patio seating as well. Cashier took orders as well as work the tables. fill station was available for anyone who wanted more to drink. Cashier was friendly and helped with menu options. Menu was clearly labeled with meat offerings that have the ability to go vegetarian and also substitution ideas for allergies

Loved the food! I was surprised at the casual atmosphere, especially with the food that was anything but casual. Upscale food at a non-upscale place. It was great! We sat ourselves and ordered on our phones with QR codes and the food came right to our table. You can also go up and order at the counter. The fried chicken and the fried cheesecake were my favorites! 10/10 would recommend!

This is our go to spot in Denver. First time at this location however. Super cute! Food was delicious as always. Love!!
Jamie G — Google review
At first, my friend and I were hesitant to try this establishment since we were from out of town, but we gave it a shot — and oh boy, let me tell you, the roasted sirloin French dip sandwich was immaculate. Paired with the Parmesan fries, it was a match made in heaven. The waiter also made the experience so much better.
Christopher R — Google review
Great food & portion sizes! You order at the counter & bus your own tables when finished (I think a way to keep prices down). My husband loved his meatloaf dinner & I had a great fancy chicken sandwich with a dinner salad. Tables don’t seat more than 6 people & cannot be moved together as they are bolted to the floor. I recommend Chop Shop for a great dining!!

Olive & Finch is a cozy bistro and coffee bar with locations in City Park West, Cherry Creek, and LoDo. They offer a menu of pastries, sandwiches, beer, and wine. The happy hour deals include $5 mojitos, sangrias, gimlets, and $3 Outlaw light lagers. Their newer sister restaurant Little Finch also offers these discounts on select food items.
DELICIOUS. Best brunch I've had in Denver recently! The strawberry pop tart is so yummy (forgot to snap a pic) and the pastrami is the best I've had in Denver to date. The herb abd garlic aoili on it is to die for. Also ordered a maple with smoked salt and maple ... not technically on the menu but they happily mad it for me and it was very scrumptious. Would go here again and bring guests from out of town, seating can be limited though.

I really like the atmosphere of this smaller location. It has garage doors that can be opened to create an indoor/outdoor setting. The staff is friendly. The food is unique n tasty. I love the presentation with the little skillets. Many small sized desserts to choose from.
Nancy W — Google review
Show up hungry and leave very satisfied. A wonderful spot for breakfast. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks Cameron! The DF breakfast burrito was packed with egg, potato, cheese and pork. The green sauce was flavorful and spiced perfectly. The tortilla was soft and provided the right amount of chew. The D-Town omelette was a great option. The roasted red pepper created a nice texture and flavor element. The side salad was surprisingly brilliant. And they do a great latte. This is a new, instant favorite. 100% would come back.
Vince M — Google review
Stopped here for late breakfast/brunch when we arrived in Denver and found it to be wonderful! Huge selection of offerings—the pastries and baked goods look phenomenal (the pumpkin hand pie was delicious), the coffee and beverage offerings are expansive (had the maple mushroom medicinal latte with coconut milk and it was very tasty), and the food is fresh and yummy! Lots of healthy options and quality ingredients. Order at the counter and sit and bus your table when you finish — I like this style of eatery and feel like it helps the food come faster (it was very quick). Outdoor seating was lovely. Had the Genoa hash bowl and it was great! Partner had the Buddha Bowl which was very fresh and full of veggies. Would totally come back!
Monica T — Google review
We got the hash, the early riser breakfast burrito, the pumpkin pie hand pie, the coffee cake, and the pecan sticky bun. The burrito was good and at $8 its not a bad deal. The hash was ok but didn't leave me wanting more. The coffee cake was very tasty and would be the only thing I would recommend that is normally available. The sticky bun was good but rather hard. The hand pie was a complete and utter mess, it also tasted more like sweet potato than pumpkin.
Alex D — Google review
Along with crazy friendly staff (even early morning!) they have gorgeous pastries and a great selection of take n go high protein low-carb items. Flat white was delicious thank you! I’ll be back for the patio for a bit of remote work.
Aimee C — Google review
Great local chain and pretty good food! Felt like menu was a little limited and overall priced high for the amount of food but still tasted great and service was outstanding. Ordered the hash and food was cooked and seasoned nicely

Olive & Finch has become my go-to lunch spot. All the salads are amazing- my favorite is the goddess! The pastries are tasty too. Portions are plentiful, staff are kind, and food is fresh. Yum!

Acorn is a trendy spot located in an industrial-style space with graffitied walls, offering New American small plates and artisanal cocktails. One of their standout dishes is the kale & apple salad, which has been a hit since the restaurant's opening in 2013. This popular item appears on all three daily menus and has garnered praise from the city of Denver for its crunchy, hearty, sweet, salty, and sour flavors.
Service was great and all staff were knowledgeable. Place was already busy when they opened for lunch. The Reuben was delicious with perfect texture contrast and a hint of oak in the pastrami. Burger was OK. Again the hint of oak from the wood fired grill was great but mine was not seasoned thoroughly. Would love to dry their dinner.
Ian T — Google review
Wow. Awesome spot in Denver. In a cool hip trendy neighborhood and space. The food was fantastic. First and foremost, the chicken entree. Absurdly good. One of the best chickens I have ever had. The gruyere bread is out of this world. Pretzel - delicious. Raw Scallop - so refreshing yet full of flavor. Kale & apple salad - house specialty and really great. Shrimp and grits was WOW Skip dessert. It left a lot to be desired. But all the savory dishes we had were fantastic. Highly recommend for foodies and those who share plates.
Perry K — Google review
We hadn't been here in years, but it seems quality and above all service is still at a high level. We came here first when it was.newnajd the place to eat, but today we just came for some appetizers and drinks before a charity event. Bartender was knowledgeable and passionate about his whiskey and was able to assuage by curiosity about Japanese whiskeys. We enjoyed the cornbread appetizer and the sourdough appetizer and the green olives.
Jacob W — Google review
This is an excellent place to go for a special occasion with a small group of 3-4 people, this place really showcases what Colorado fine dining can be. The waitstaff is great and very attentive to all of our questions. I personally recommend trying the asparagus as it's a staple and definitely worth it. I would also be open to trying something new and be ready to share all the food and have a conversation about it. The menu is seasonal and the flavors reflect the season and offer a variety if you want to try this multiple times throughout the year.
Levent H — Google review
We were a party of 10 so we opted for choice four small plates: turning with baby cilantro and ponzu sauce, pork belly (not fatty), grilled broccoli, cucumber. entree restricted chicken only. One of the best meals I've ever had!
Liz L — Google review
Some of the best food I have had in Denver! The waiter steered us in the right direction.. if you are in the mood for rich food, this is the place and the price matches it. Luckily it was worth every penny. In the photos you will see the tartar dish, the duck confit, and asparagus dish. Each one had incredible flavors and I’m not sure I would try anything else next time I go. When you find what you like, why change?
Andréa C — Google review
A really amazing restaurant in a fabulous setting with delicious food. Came here for dinner and we were so impressed. They have a bunch of really yummy sharing plates. All food was so fresh and came quickly. They also have a great cocktail menu. Try the aloe martini

MAD Greens Salads - Downtown Denver is a popular counter-serve eatery that offers a variety of fresh salads, wraps, and sandwiches at affordable prices. With over a dozen locations in Denver and several more across three states, it's known for its focus on quality and freshness. The menu features an array of options including salads with fresh fruits and veggies, grain bowls, wraps, soups, and drinks.
I walked around most of the day and couldn't decide on what to eat. I made a great choice by trying this place out! The food was fresh and it was easy to order and customize. They have rice bowls, salads, juices, etc. I ordered the southwest salad. The ingredients were fresh and the serving size was satisfying. I also ordered a green juice and a rice Krispy treat. They have indoor seating. It looked like a popular place for locals and those who work in the area. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Jacqueline S — Google review
Big bowls to really mix your salad – great idea, and definitely appreciated! This spot’s right on the 16th Street Mall, so it’s in a pretty popular area. Not the best location vibe-wise, but it’s convenient, especially for folks working nearby or tourists passing through. The menu is all about healthy options, which I loved. You can build your own bowl, but honestly, the pre-made bowl selections are solid – plenty of variety to find something you’ll enjoy without overthinking it. We tried the Southwest Bowl, Baja Shrimp Bowl, and the Elote Mac Bowl. Hands down, the Baja Shrimp was the standout – super flavorful and the best of the bunch. Now, for the downsides: the soda machine was out of order when we went, and there’s no real air conditioning – just a fan in the corner doing its best. The service was fine, nothing memorable, and the overall vibe of the place is just okay. Functional but not somewhere you’d want to hang out for too long. Still, if you’re in the area and want a fast, healthy bite, it’s worth checking out – especially for that Baja Shrimp Bowl.
Asif R — Google review
I ordered the Group Green Goddess Pasta Salad from Mad Greens through Uber Eats for an event, but only received a single serving instead of the group order. The receipt showed that the store fulfilled the wrong order. When I reported the issue to Mad Greens customer service they refused to assist and directed me to Uber Eats. When I reported the issue through the Uber Eats app (including a photo), I was told the report wasn’t received and nothing could be done. Mad Greens failed to read the order correctly, and Uber Eats didn’t verify it. I ended up paying $49.74 total (pasta salad-33.75 pre tax) with no resolution or accountability from either company. Terrible.
Brian E — Google review
Was in Denver for a Barbershop Harmony Society convention and grabbed lunch at Mad Greens. Had a delicious wrap (southwest chicken). Restaurant was clean, staff was helpful and friendly. 5 stars.

This location is one of the best locations. I've gotten the chance to visit many,(SW Plaza, Arapahoe and Quebec) ect. The staff is always pleasant and accurate. The Don Quixote salad is so refreshing it's become my go-to order. The GM Sarina truly cares about the staff as well as the guest experience. It's become a part of my regular routine because of how incredibly nice the staff is. Shout out to Sarina and her team. Please keep up the great work guys! See you next week. 😁🥗

The staff at this MAD Greens location is always friendly, even when the line gets crazy long. Pro-tip: use the app to order ahead before you arrive 📱 and you'll save a ton of time. I had the Orchard Salad 🥗, and you could really tell how fresh everything was. Definitely a great option for a healthy lunch downtown!
Matthew S — Google review
I made a mistake with my order through ZERO fault of the employees. I called the store and spoke with LaShaunda and she was extremely kind and helpful. Her manager, Sarina, was equally kind. Wonderful customer service! As for the food, I had a Pomona salad and it was very fresh and tasty. I especially enjoyed the delicious dressing.
S — Google review
I would love to rate the food. But it never showed up. In fact, I first ordered at 11:08 am. Then my order got "lost" and they cancelled it at 12:20 (after multiple calls to find out what was happening). Then I reordered because that is what the instructions said to do. Second order cancelled at 1:00. So now I have been trying for two hours to get lunch and still have nothing. I also get to start over a third time (won't be from Mad Greens) and maybe get lunch by 2:00.

Panzano, located in the Hotel Monaco, is a popular dining spot known for its sustainable North Italian cuisine. The restaurant has been a staple in Denver for 25 years and offers gluten-free options thanks to former executive chef Elise Wiggins, who was gluten-intolerant. The current executive chef, Patrick Kelly, ensures that gluten-free requests are handled with care to avoid cross-contamination.
I went to Panzano by myself as a treat while at a conference in Denver. As a grad student, I was already stretching my budget. The food was rich and delicious (highly recommend the tiramisu). I sat at the counter and interacted with the chefs (who provided some tasters) and my waiter was beyond kind (walked through menu and treated me on dessert). The perfect treat and filling meal. Favorite part of downtown Denver so far!
Kelsey N — Google review
No issues with the serving staff. They were professional and very courteous. The food on the other hand was just meh... the vegetarian options were limited and even those weren't very good or flavorful. For the price, the food quality was not very good. We have had better Italian food in other places at similar or lower prices.
Vinamra A — Google review
I sat at the chef’s counter on a busy weeknight and received the most attentive service! The food was all delicious and both my server and the chef made me feel most welcome. Highly recommend the amazing brussels sprouts, which are some of the best I’ve had.

I love that they put anchovy in their Caesar salad, so good. I ordered the carbonara with braised rabbit leg, it’s good but a little salty for me. The location in good for walking if you’re staying in downtown. Big spacious restaurant.

We went before MAMMA Mia at The Buell and from start to finish everything was amazing! Chris was our waiter and he was absolutely delightful and made sure we stayed on time to make our show. We enjoyed the Prix Fix menu along with the wine pairing and it was scrumptious! Anytime we are in Denver we will be sure to visit!

We stopped in for a quick drink at the bar. The drinks are very good! The fried lobster bite thing was good too! Will be back to try more of the food and drinks.

I enjoyed my evening here very much. The lobster arincini, focaccia and crostini was delicious. The pollo alla Milanese hit the spot. Service was excellent and the blood orange manhattan was soothing.

Interesting open-concept Italian kitchen. I had the privilege to be seated at the chef counter and was able to observe the preparation. The antipasti and entrees are prepared consistently, simply, and with attention to detail. It was a pleasure to watch it unfold. The pasta was cooked perfectly, Statler chicken was fork-tender, risotto was creamy and made with careful attention to heat, and Bolognese was well-balanced, and not too oily. I highly recommend! It was a pleasure.

Modern Market Eatery is a sleek, counter-serve cafe that offers health-conscious salads and sandwiches, with vegan options available. Originating as a street food vendor, this eatery has expanded to offer scrumptious American fare with an international twist. The menu features 8 salads, grain bowls, and hand-carved bowls, including the popular Buddha bowl with sesame glazed tofu or salmon.
Modern Market Eatery is a fantastic option if you’re looking for healthy, sustainable fast-casual dining. Ordering is quick and easy, and the menu is straightforward, whether you’re in the mood for a salad or a sandwich. I chose the salmon Caesar salad and was pleasantly surprised by how fresh and flavorful it was. The lettuce had a satisfying crunch in every bite, and the other toppings like the cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, and especially the croutons were all incredibly fresh. Everything came together for a delicious, hearty meal. I’m definitely planning to come back to try more of their menu items, especially the different salads. If you’re in the area and want clean, fresh food, I highly recommend Modern Market Eatery. You’ll leave feeling good about what you’ve eaten.

Ya know? If ten dollars is not out of your budget, I suspect that you will be well pleased with the salad options here. We were. Garden Steak Salad Urban Farmer Salad Baja Blackened Chicken Salad Salmon Caesar Thai Coconut Salad The place was tranquil and clean

Nice location with plenty of seating and spacious ceilings. Staff seemed a little overwhelmed by the mix of in-person and online orders but the food came our fresh and delish! The combo of the lemonades and Boylan sodas was elite. Kids meals are a great value as well.

The food is good and very affordable to compare to other nearby places. We loved farmers salad , tomato basil soup and sandwich. Service is friendly. What I did not like: plastic cups and utensils (inconvenient to use and bad for our environment) and lack of interior design. No decorations, basic chairs and tables, most of tables are high (bar style)- difficult to accommodate shorter people, kids and elders. Otherwise would recommend this place for quick, healthy and affordable lunch.

We tried their food for 3 days back to back with their bogo deal and that didnt make us go back. Would i buy again if bogo deal is an option, yes it is healty but portion sizes are small and doesnt taste that good so not for the full price

Ordered soup and a kids chicken plate on 9/18. Soup was yummy, but there was a bug in the salad portion of the chicken plate. The chicken was also somewhat pink in the middle. I will stick to my usual food options.

We really enjoyed the modern market eatery. Fun, bright, and cheery atmosphere and wonderful foods. The food was fresh and seemed like healthy options. I had a grilled salmon plate and my husband had chicken pizza. Both were very tasty. I also loved my beverage, a cucumber, mint lemonade. Fabulous flavor! I will go again the next time I run across a modern market eatery.

Ordered the Garden Steak Salad to go. It looked really delicious, but after digging in, I realized the cherry tomatoes were frozen solid. Why would you put frozen tomatoes on a salad? Very off putting. The steak was good and the scallion ranch dressing went perfect with the rest of salad. I love tomatoes and it was disappointing that they were frozen and inedible.

Exceptional craft beer selection. Here for gabf so this is probably above and beyond their normal selection, but legendary stuff. Didn't think I'd ever have an opportunity to order a pitcher of ddh pliny, but I did. Food was also very good. Really interesting and creative menu. Pizza cupcakes are a fun and tasty app. Krunch wrap superior was great, would definitely order that again.

One of my favorite places in Denver. They serve both NY and Detroit style pizza, delicious sandwiches, an ever changing beer list, and great patio space. I am a huge fan of the Crunchwrap Superior and Crispy Pork Sandwich. The sandwich of the week is always a great hit and I always recommend a side of their pasta salad. The wings are surprisingly great as well! I go here a few times a month. Highly Recommend.

Thursday night is Detroit style pizza deals! Love the sourdough flavor and service was amazing! Great selection of brews as well

Best Detroit style pizza! Perfect crust, great sauce, and lots of topping choices. Mostly liked the atmosphere-- fun that kids can play with toys in a cute outdoor area. Didn't love the super bright lighting over most tables on the patio, but the wooden picnic tables did have softer strings of lights.

This is one of our regular places. We're very pleased with it. Every once in awhile we've had a server disappear and nobody replaced them so we had to track someone down. But the servers have always been pleasant. The addition of the outdoor seating has been great and they have a great area for kids. And their daily specials have us coming back on Tuesdays for their Detroit style pizza. We will keep coming back 💗

We had a wonderful lunch here after visiting the Denver Cat Cafe across the street. We had Detroit style sourdough pizza and it was delicious! My daughter had the sausage and green pepper slice special with the pear salad, which was fresh and very tasty. But best of all was our server, Sara, who was so courteous and patient with all of our questions! (Sorry about my sister’s terrible Pittsburgh joke 🤦🏻‍♀️ ) Definitely eat at Hope & Pies if you’re in Denver!

Phenomenal customer service. Unprompted, a waitress brought crayons, coloring sheets, and clip boards for my son's to utilize. She also fixed our wobbling table on the spot, unprompted. Awesome experience. Great beer selection. Great pizza. Great customer service.

Bar
Work & Class is a cozy and relaxed restaurant located in the River North Art District. It offers a fusion of Southern and Latin American cuisine, along with cocktails. The restaurant prides itself on providing satisfying plates of comfort foods like red wine-braised short ribs, green coriander-roasted Colorado lamb, and rotisserie chicken. The menu also includes side dishes such as chickpea croquettes, fried sweet plantains, and smoked Gouda macaroni and cheese.
Such a wonderful dinner – cannot wait to return. Our menu selections for a party of two were ALL next level. Beginning with a perfectly balanced Nitro Espresso Martini and a Paloma from the bar, our position at the Chef’s counter was like watching a perfect harmony. Chef Antonio and his team made a full house dinner service seem effortless. The chef slipped two chickpea croquettes over the counter, and they were incredible bites setting the scene for the ‘goodness’ to follow. ¼ Rotisserie chicken, Massive Attack Salad (Tempura Broccoli cooked perfectly), leeks and mashed side, caprese potato gnocchi and the chocolate lava cake - All 100% exceptional. The Lava Cake was delicious, however a slightly different take if you are expecting ‘Roy’s. Love the vibe of the restaurant, especially at peak dinner time – feels super alive and special (Recommend a reservation). From the moment the hostess handed us off to Spencer until our departure – we felt like VIPs. Spencer took exceptional care of us – thank you Spencer, Chef Antonio, and the entire Work & Class team for giving us a memorable experience during our stop in Denver.

Such a fun, lively spot. During happy hour, I had the chicken pot pie it’s warm, flavorful, and comforting. My friend ordered the chicken and waffles and really enjoyed her meal. One highlight was the “beer and shot Russian roulette.” I love the surprise aspect, and they picked a great beer for me with tequila as the shot. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was casual yet energetic. Perfect for a night out, and I’d love to return.

Work and Class in Denver is one of the most highly rated in town for its southern comfort foods and Latin inspired dishes. The space has a very laid back homey feel. And the service is top notch...great attention and helpful. The food was outstanding...especially if you enjoy meat! Cannot say enough! 5 x 🥩🥩🥩🥩🥩

The design and word play of this restaurant was very creative! Loved the background music, not too loud, real chill. The customer service was excellent, the manager Johnnie was great about trying to get our large group seated with another large group even though we didn’t have a reservation and the other group did. Our waiter was great too. Let’s talk food. The lamb was cooked to a perfect temperature but it was bland. I used the sauce from the roasted chicken dish to give it some flavor. The Mac & cheese was good, harissa veges were good it included beets and carrots which was unexpected. None of the food wowed us, but the ambiance and customer service made it a great experience. The portions of the side are meant to be shareable but for the price we expected a bit larger portion. Jalapeño cornbread was crisp on the outside and moist inside, enjoyed it the most.

A funky, in the best way possible, place to dine. Food was outstanding! Started with the jalapeño corn muffins the had the Colorado lamb and Harissa spiced roasted veggies. Both were perfect. Excellent beer and wines by the glass choices too
Raymond T — Google review
The attentiveness of the server and atmosphere are great. Like some of the other reviewers stated, the portions were quite small, especially for the price. There were 3 of us. We ordered 1/2 lb of lemon chicken, 1/2 pound of the tri-tip and 1/4 lb of the lamb, although our server recommended 1/4 lb of each protein per person. We should have ordered more. The shrimp and grits for sharing had 4 small shrimp and about 1/2 cup of grits. Great flavor but certainly not enough to share. The roasted veggies were delicious and the large was enough for 3. The lamb was good. The tri-tip steak, recommended by our server, should have been returned. The flavor was excellent but it had so much gristle we couldn't cut or chew it. The chefs had no way of knowing this and we should have returned it for a different piece. Again, except for the tough piece of steak, the food was very good. Just make sure you order 1/2 lb of protein per person and large sides if you have 3 or more people sharing. The small size side is for one person only.

Great first impression all around. Everything was really delicious, however the medium-rare meats were more medium/medium-well, but still very delicious. The desserts stole the show. Both the butterscotch pudding and lemon cheesecake were absolutely great. Ryan, our server, was top tier in all aspects.

Bull & Bush Brewery is a renowned London-style pub located in Glendale, offering a wide selection of craft beers and delectable bar bites. Despite being relatively young compared to its UK counterparts, the brewery has thrived for over fifty years. The cozy English pub, now managed by second-generation owners, boasts an extensive menu featuring a fusion of English and Colorado comfort food alongside an array of traditional and innovative house-brewed beers.
If you want that Old English Pub charm and all the amazing pub food with a Colorado twist, this is your place. Amazing place for brews as they make their own as well. The Colorado Green chili is the good stuff. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, and the staff was attentive and friendly.

Amazing food. Some say extensive menus can mean too much to get right. Not true here. Everything hit spot on. Portions were generous. Seasoning on all food was perfect. Chicken fried steak was platter sized and so perfectly crispy. Special burger of the month Southwest was so delicious and hit every spot I didnt know I had. Jalapeño dusted fries were so good but had a good kick that clung to the tongue. Not complaining. Ny strip steak meal had a potato so large it look up half the platter. Again, not complaining. Will return to try more of the extensive menu.

Loved the atmosphere here. We were seated promptly. I had a flight of 4 beers. None that I can say I loved but they weren't bad. My friend and I got French onion soup. It had a bit too much of a sugary taste for me but was definitely rich and filling. Couldn't finish. I would love to try other food there.

Italian restaurant

Bistro
Odyssey Italian Restaurant, located on 6th Ave in Denver, is a charming and homey eatery that offers traditional Italian dishes in a comfortable setting. Housed in a Victorian-style home, the restaurant exudes a rustic and traditional ambiance with its red and white checkered tablecloths, dim lighting, and brick walls. The menu features familiar Italian favorites made from family recipes, such as veal piccata and linguini with clams.
If you're craving a home cooked meal from Nona, this is the place to go. It's a neat little old Victorian home with such a wonderful aire to the setting. The food is top notch and so flavorful. The dishes can be a bit hearty and will fill you up. There are so many tasty things it's easy to go overboard. The service was amazing and the recommendations were so delicious. If you're looking for a slightly elevated date night or just a good dinner with the family, this would be a great place to go. Glad Denver has some good (real) Italian to show for itself.

Really enjoyed the pasta here! A lot of the menu items are pricey but with how fresh everything tastes you can't go wrong. I think the patio could use a little revamp so that chairs and tables aren't at an angle and the metal glassware was kinda weird to have while eating a $30 pasta... But the food was amazing! We recommend the lobster ravioli 💖
Mikayla C — Google review
We had a nice room with one other table. Started with the corn raviolis and they were bomb! The. Move to the lobster stuffed shrimp. Every pasta, every entree… top marks! Have some wine while you’re there. This is a must stop if you’re a fan of Italian food.
James B — Google review
The first thing I need to mention is that I found a huge CLUMP OF HAIR inside my risotto balls—not on the side of the plate, but inside the food itself. The clump was about the size of a quarter and had multiple hairs of different lengths and colors. That’s a major food safety and cleanliness issue and something no diner should ever experience. When I called the server over, they quickly removed the plate, so I wasn’t able to get a photo (something I regret). However, I did take photos of the pasta and tiramisu we were served—both of which looked unappetizing and poorly presented, which I’ve attached here. The restaurant did comp one dish and offer free desserts, but the food overall was bland, overpriced, and not worth the cost. Service actually became less attentive after we reported the problem, and the manager never came over to apologize or explain what would be done to address the situation. While the restaurant has a cute, intimate layout, our table was placed next to the dishwasher and kitchen, so we had to listen to loud dishes being washed the entire meal. Combined with the hair in my food, this completely ruined the experience. Between the serious cleanliness concerns, poor food quality, bad presentation, and lack of accountability, I will not be returning. If you care about food safety and quality, I would strongly recommend avoiding this restaurant.

Wonderful service and great people (especially Becca and Austin) who served us food and drinks. We were a group of 5 girls for a bachelorette and we went around closing time. They were very flexible and the food was wonderful, freshly made. The carrot cake was amazing. Would definitely recommend here for any celebrations.
Preethi S — Google review
What a great find. If you don't care for the big ole chain joints, then this is the place for you, it's like you're eating at Nona's house! The food was really good, didn't hear any complaints among our party, and we had a variety of items. I need to go back and try the things I was on the fence about!
B1krboy — Google review
Due to the historic significance and this place being around for so many years we've been yearning to knock this place off our list. Aside from the service there was always at least one thing missing with our experience. The garlic bread came out looking heavenly with a perfect shimmer and layer of garlic ooey gooyness glazed over top but it was cold. The Diet Coke was flat after ordering it 3 times in a row. The pasta dishes we ordered (lamb shank ragu, pesto chicken dish and the chicken Alfredo) were all massively lacking in attention to detail, seasoning, and for some reason had pasta cooked at all different levels. The one commonality is that all of the food needed to be warmed up but we were worried it just be nuked for 30 seconds then brought back out so we didn't bother saying anything The reason I'm giving 3 stars and not one is out of respect to the business, the fact that we haven't tried the chocolate cake still sitting in our fridge, the cold yet flavorful garlic bread and the very attentive and friendly service. All of those positives aside if you're an Italian restaurant and can't figure out pasta then maybe it's time for a massive refresh

I’m not exaggerating when I say that a visit to Odyssey has actually brought warmth to my heart. Was flying into Denver and made a request to make it special for a birthday! It stuck with us when they said that ‘they don’t say no 🤍’ when we walked in a little later than the time of reservation, and it was close to their closing time. The whole experience was very nice and calm, didn’t feel rushed even for a second! And of course, the food is very authentic and delicious! ❤️

El Five is a vibrant and trendy restaurant located on the fifth floor of a building in Denver's Lower Highlands district. Opened in 2017, it offers a colorful dining space with indoor and balcony seating, providing sweeping views over LoHi and downtown Denver.
this place was a great experience! The skyline views at night are probably the best part all around. It really is such a great location and we happened to be there on the night of a Rockies win and experienced an awesome view of the firework show! the food is also really delicious and well done. I liked all the different options of courses. We made a rez about 1.5 hr Before the scheduled time and just sat at the bar and waited until then we were taken to our table promptly, all around the service was pretty great! The open air bar is just so cool and unique. This is a really special spot for city views!

Did the chefs table experience. I thought the food was very good, but I like smaller portions so I can try more things. Service was good and the city view in the evening really added to the vibe. I liked the lamb ribs and the paella was good. Unfortunately too stuffed to eat dessert. I was a little confused because I thought it would be a tasting menu, but after jumping that hurdle, the choices were straightforward and they added a bunch of surprise additions that really added to the experience.

Wow. Just wow. Started with amazing views and a drink before being seated for dinner. Loved the Mediterranean dips (you can get a half order), goat cheese croquettas, harissa eggplant fries, Tunisian couscous with lamb kebabs and sea bass! We decided on more Tapas options instead of paella. Next time paella!! Rowe was a very knowledgeable Wine Director and we had a lovely bottle of Spanish red. Service was stellar, we shall return.

Outstanding meal from start to finish! The Carne Paella, Moroccan Lamb Sausage, Patatas Bravas, Goat Cheese Croquettas, and Bison Meatballs were all fantastic. Our server was excellent. The atmosphere is great for a couples dinner. We really enjoyed the steak, lamb, and shrimp. Our favorite dish was the soup dumplings! Delicious. The pineapple cucumber collins was incredible. But do skip the snow crab (not flavorful). L5 margarita was good, but the foam is very salty.
Masha S — Google review
Service was not what I was expecting from the price point that guests pay. I made reservations 2 weeks in advance with request for a "city view." When we arrive they had tables available but it would be about 30-45 min for the patio. They sat us at the bar while waiting for a table, which is perfect to start with drinks and tapas. However, the bartender looked annoyed that we were sitting at his bar while we waited for a table. He took over 10 min to take our drink orders. I asked for a Tito's martini and of course they only offer Kettle. Thats when I noticed that their mission is to rack up that bill. Drinks came and he didnt even offer to take a tapas or appetizer order. I had to ask him if I could get started with a couple tapas. Each tapas cost $14 - $28. Way overpriced for the flavor and portion size. Ive been to Spain many times and these were not good. After about 30 min the hostess comes to take us to our table and he attempted to sit us at a regular table even though we had been waiting 30 min for a patio seat. He was the original guy that sat us at the bar, so Im not sure what the confusion was. I reminded him that we had been waiting for a patio seat and that if we wanted a regular seat we would have been sat when we first arrived because there was a regular table ready. He even questioned me if I had actually requested a patio. They are completely disorganized. He stated it would be another 30 -45 min and was walking us back to the bar and it was a little embarrassing to be honest. He miraculously found a patio table with a minute or two, so not sure what happened there. Please note, thiw timy table barely fit our 2 plates, and two cocktails. It was a table meant to put flowers on, not to dine on. We sat down and waited another 15 min just for someone to get us water and greet us at the table. Every server just kept walking by without saying a word. Not even an "I'll be right with you. The server finally greeted us and took our order. We ordered the seafood paella and immediately he stated "its going good to be a long wait for the seafood paella." I said that was okay and placed the order. Well, here's how they get you... while youre waiting for your "entree," you will inevitably order more over priced tapas and drinks. Nonetheless, we ordered more tapas and rink refills. The portion size for the "2 person" paella was more like a regular size portion. The pan had a very thin layer of rice and safron and was very unappealing and underwhelming. I have attached some pictures for reference. The paella was over cooked and seafood undercooked. Clams and mussels were still partially closed, fish was super dry, the smaller "salad shrimp" were drenched in lemon juice. It felt like everything was cooked separately. That is not how you cook paella. All together with the valet parking marked up drinks, flavorless tapas, and tiny entree I spent about $220 for 2 people and left hungry. Do not waste your money here... the best part of the whole experience was the view and you can get that from any rooftop in Denver. I travel to Spain annually, and this is not fine dining and this is nowhere close to being authentic Spanish cuisine. Skip this place.
John M — Google review
This was a really lovely dining experience. We were celebrating my sister and our server Drew was fantastic. They had great suggestions and answered all our questions. The food was so delicious, I really enjoyed the sea bass and the carne paella. They have really good cocktails, I recommend the Old Turk if you're a bourbon fan. It overlooks Denver so the location is picturesque and unique. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Denver.

Quality Italian is a modern steakhouse with a contemporary design and an upscale menu featuring Italian cuisine. Located in Denver's Cherry Creek shopping district, it offers traditional filet mignon, bone-in rib eye, and New York strip steaks prepared Italian-style with various toppings. The restaurant also serves handmade pasta dishes. Quality Italian provides high-quality Italian food along with perfectly cooked and seasoned traditional steaks that have been dry-aged for 28 days.
Our server was incredibly attentive and great at taking care of our needs. We had a party of six, and there weren’t any long waits between drink refills or food deliveries. Although the prices are a bit higher (we easily spent $100 per person), the food and drinks were delicious. If you’re celebrating a birthday, be sure to let them know during your reservation, and they’ll have a birthday card waiting for you at your table before you arrive. and a bowl of ice cream for dessert. I highly recommend this place and would definitely go back. (All food consumed is not pictured.)

The team at the reception desk helped us get in early because our daughter had altitude sickness and they were so kind and wonderful. We loved all of our meals and the service was top notch. It was very crowded - great energy and vibe. I am gluten free and had the truffle pasta with gluten free noodles and it was insanely delicious!!!

Atmosphere and service were incredible. We got the table with a couch on one side and that might be my new favorite kind of dining! The food presentation was impressive. I just found the food okay for the price point. We got the ricotta app, corn creme Brule, filet mignon meatballs, brussel sprouts and the chicken parm pizza for two. It was all good and I wouldn't complain but didn't have much of a wow factor with the dishes we ordered. Honestly the Brussel sprouts were my favorite and the bread with oil is fantastic! Would definitely eat here again as I like the vibe.
B H — Google review
My wife and I just had dinner there yesterday. We have been super excited to eat here and it was very underwhelming. We got some steak pasta which was very good but everything else had 0 flavor. The chicken parm was terrible, and the tiramisu was one of the worst things I’ve ever had. On top of all this my wife has been sick for the past 24 hours. She had the side salad that comes with the chicken parm pizza and I didn’t. She has been on the toilet non stop and now on medicine. Also $250 for 2 ppl in cherry creek is just insane. We will not be back here again. If u want mid overpriced food go for it.

The quality of food here is phenomenal. Best Caesar salad I've had in my life. For main course I had from the pasta section Spicy Lobster Rigatoni Alla Vodka. It is to die for. Excellent service as well. I might come back to Denver just for this restaurant.

Quality Italian in Cherry Creek is absolutely amazing—it gives off that perfect old-school Italian vibe from the moment you walk in. The Caesar salad and lasagna are standouts you can’t skip; the lasagna, especially, is one of the best I’ve ever had and perfect for sharing. While I enjoyed the Parmesan, the lasagna truly steals the show. It’s an upscale spot that still feels family-friendly, with large tables and a warm atmosphere. Definitely make a reservation ahead of time—this place is worth every bite.

My partner and I had dinner at Quality Italian last night for our anniversary, and we couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate. From the moment we walked in, everything felt special. The hostess greeted us with a “happy anniversary,” and when we got to our table, there was even a handwritten card waiting for us, which was such a thoughtful touch. The highlight of the evening was the incredible service from Michael. We took all of his recommendations and loved every single dish. He timed everything perfectly, and every member of the team who came by our table was friendly and warm, whether they were dropping off another drink or boxing up leftovers. Even the manager stopped by to wish us a happy anniversary, which really made the night feel personal. As for the food, it was absolutely phenomenal. The shrimp cocktail with Calabrian chile aioli was outstanding, and the lasagna for two with filet mignon meatballs was rich and flavorful. We ordered the sautéed spinach on the side, which paired perfectly. And the Ferrero Rocher dessert? Hands down one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. If you love chocolate and hazelnut, don’t leave without trying it. The cocktails were just as good. Nicole, the bartender, made my favorite drink, a French Blonde, perfectly, and my partner said his Old Bro cocktail was fantastic. Huge thank you to Michael and the entire team for making our anniversary dinner so memorable. We’ll definitely be back soon.

If you’re after a laid-back spot with creative toasted subs and a fun vibe, Cheba Hut on Colfax nails it. The moment you walk in, you feel the casual, friendly energy — it’s the kind of place you want to drop by when craving something relaxing but satisfying. The menu’s full of interesting options: subs toasted just right, plenty of meat, veggie, and custom combinations, plus sides and munchies that hit the spot. What really stands out is how they balance bold flavors without going over the top — every bite feels intentional and fun. Service is warm and easygoing; the team seems genuinely into what they do. Fantastic place to eat at I only eat the white widow best sandwich hands down don't get anything bigger than the 8" because you will be stuffed

I've only come here during or after events along Colfax, with the most recent time being after a concert at the ogden. Despite being insanely busy, they were prompt with getting our food out and had up to date & accurate time estimates. The staff here is absolutely killing it and I pray they're earning a solid wage! Also love how the place looks and the food itself is AMAZING. Have yet to have a sandwich that wasn't amazing, let alone one I was disappointed with. Every new sandwich I try just makes ordering next time a little harder because it's another option that I KNOW is good, that I've got to pick between.

I didn't expect to see beer taps at a sandwich shop! I sat for a beer while my online order finished. My wife and I ate half our food before our Uber arrived and I got two cups of house made dressing for the rest of it. It was great! Workers were funny and considerate. Made a forever customer out of me!!

Diner
Nestled in the serene Congress Park, Chef Zorba's has been a local favorite since 1979. Under new ownership, the eatery maintains its classic dishes while introducing modern touches. The menu offers a wide range of options from traditional Greek fare like moussaka and gyros to American classics such as burgers and huevos. The cozy spot features a laid-back dining room and a small patio for al fresco dining.
Greeted and was told to sit anywhere. Busy local restaurant. Very friendly staff. Ordered the lemon chicken soup and chicken kabobs with rice pilaf. This was the best Greek food I ever had. The soup had the perfect v lemon taste and big pieces of tender chicken. I was told people order it in large containers for take out. I would also if I lived locally. The chicken kabobs with onion and pepper marinated, seasoned and grilled perfect . and the rice pilaf was so light fluffy . My husband ordered the gyros dinner and his gyros was tender, moist . He chose salad instead of the soup. Both our meals were large portions, we took home leftover. The desserts in the display at the front looked so good, chocolate cake, carrot cake, baklava, other choices. This is a gem in the neighborhood

I went to zorbas for breakfast and I would highly recommend it. They have fair prices and delicious food. They uncharged for eggs based on how expensive eggs have gotten. I got a delicious BLT. French fries are delicious but not my favorite I’ve found on Denver. The sandwich has good proportions. My friend enjoyed their breakfast sandwiches and would recommend the breakfast burrito. They have quick service and kind servers. Stop here for a homey vibe and good food.

This was a great experience! I went here with family, as my uncle is visiting town for a little. We wanted a different place, other than Apple Bee’s or Chili’s, and this was perfect. The waitresses were very kind and helpful. Our food was prepared quickly and done well! I ordered their falafel sandwich, with fries. It was so good! After finishing our meals, we all shared their carrot cake, chocolate cake, and my brother demolished a piece of cheese cake! Everything was delicious. The bathrooms are clean, it isn’t too loud, and our seating area was clean as well. I would love to visit here again! I highly recommend!

Wonderful nice staff, huge portions, and tasty food! The moussaka was good and had the perfect amount of spices, none too overpowering. The spreads appetizer was great too. We especially liked the tziki sauce. The banana pudding was delicious. We’ll definitely come back

Went here for a quick bite before hitting the Botanic Gardens and it was good for a late morning meal. I got a Greek Salad that was loaded with goodies like falafel, hard-boiled eggs, and pita. Really liked this, was fresh and filling and had good flavor all around. My homie got the Chicken and Waffles which was not it unfortunately. Supposed to be fried chicken on this dish, not chicken tenders. The waffle was real good though. Patio seating was nice on beautiful summer day in quiet neighborhood, would definitely good back.

Really good quality Greek food at a great price. The place was packed when we came in on a Sunday. We enjoyed the dine in experience. Lots of leftovers.
Frankie — Google review
Stopped in for baklava and the ones in the pan looked nice and crispy, but I was given a prepackaged one that was quite soggy and flat. Looked like it was sitting in the syrup for a while because all the layers were soft when usually there are some crunchy ones. I can tell it would’ve been good so sad that it wasn’t what I expected and spent $7 on it. I may go again but request one in the pan.
Emily M — Google review
Food was great. But if you look any different than a clean cut persons or if you kind of look not so normal they tried to rush you out we were there trying to figure out what we wanted to eat and within 5 minutes of doing so three different waitresses asked us what we wanted seven different times. when we did get our food the only thing she wanted to do is give us our check. There is one older gentleman that is a great waiter. Other than that the females are judgy

Nestled in RiNo on Larimer Street, Crema Coffee House exudes a laid-back, hipster atmosphere and is a haven for coffee enthusiasts. The establishment prides itself on serving finely roasted coffee using traditional methods, alongside an array of breakfast and lunch options. The name "Crema" pays homage to the thick layer of foam that crowns a well-crafted espresso shot.
Lovely spot. The juice is phenomenal, & I loved the espresso plate with a chaser of soda water to refresh! Had a gal gathering here. It was marvelous.

This place, is DIFFERENT. I can tell that they care about being unique but also having such an encouraging and uplifting atmosphere. The espresso tasted very handcrafted, the cinnamon roll was incredible and the cortado my fiance got was very tasty! She loved it! More coffee shops should post obvious signs of warning those who make environments toxic and less fun for others. It definitely happens more than you think. We HAVE TO COME BACK!
Joel V — Google review
Central market is this great space with several food and beverage vendors. Inside is Crema coffee. I came for the matcha on my matcha tour. I am only reviewing the matcha. The matcha was not my favorite. I had the ube matcha and to be honest I couldn’t taste the ube. It just tasted like plain old matcha nothing special. Again, another syrup instead of purer or compote. Better stick to the coffee for this place. Service was excellent and did not have to wait long for the matcha. 3/10 would not recommend for matcha.

This place is the OG of coffee in the Denver area. I’ve been coming here since 2010 and despite the changes in staff (as any place opened as long should have) the greatness has never lapsed. The espresso is excellent…they use a combination of different roasters from all over the US. It is rare that you find a coffee shop that produces top quality espresso with house baked goods…I know there are many that try. I applaud them, but none can match what Crema does here. Their service is quick yet patient. At times there are lines, but the staff handles the rush with efficiency and friendliness. I have traveled throughout the world and I have not found Crema’s equal. They’re quirky (as you’d expect in a thriving artistic community), skilled, and consistently excellent.

Great little coffee shop within walking distance of my Airbnb on Curtis St. Haven't tried their food, but some decent tea choices.

I absolutely loved the first time I set foot in Crema Coffee House, at 2863 Larimer Street. The ambience was magical, with unique and fun murals painted on the brick walls. My mocha was tasty, and the latte art was stunning. And, someone who enjoys watching people come in and out, this place had a variety of traffic. I went back, today. The inside is still closed to customers, due to the pandemic. But, they were open for business for curbside service. And there is news of them potentially opening back up for indoor service, in the not-too-distant future. Can’t wait! Some of the indoor shots I’m including, here, are from my visit back in 2019. EDITED: I’ve gone since September 2021. It’s great to be back at one of my favorite coffee shops in Denver. The birds mural is new to me, since I hadn’t been inside for over a year.

Homegrown Tap & Dough is a fun, casual pizza place with two locations in Denver - one in Olde Town Arvada and the other in Washington Park. The Wash Park location offers a chefs counter where kids can watch dough being made, and the pizza menu includes wood-fired pies as well as pasta and calzones.
Big fans of perdida so we had to try this place out. Patio was great. Plenty of umbrellas and or heat. Sever was very attentive. Food and drinks came out pretty quickly. Per my mom, margarita was good but not as good perdida. Pizza and burger were top notch. Would continue to come back with the parents. Would recommend.

We stopped by for a bite to eat and enjoyed it thoroughly. At first, we were seated out on the large patio, but a quick rain storm came in, making us scurry inside. The Venetian spritzer was excellent, as was the pizza. Emma was our server, and she was very kind and accommodating. Good place a for a beer and a bit to eat.

I live out of state, but come back home to Denver often. This has been one of my favorite places to grab a great salad or a meal. My sister ordered salads tonight through DoorDash. I had the beet salad which I normally love. Unfortunately, I saw something that was a different color than the lettuce in my salad. It was more of a blue/green and when I pulled it out, it was a sharp piece of what appears to be a wire wrap from something in the kitchen? I’m thankful that it didn’t go down my throat because that wouldn’t have been good at all. I was cautious about finishing it and pretty much lost my appetite. I was concerned about finding more, which I didn’t, but one piece of sharp wire in your salad is enough. Very disappointing and definitely has changed my view about this restaurant. For the time being unlikely to order again. I don’t know if this was because of the vendor that you order your greens from or a careless kitchen worker. Either way it shouldn’t have happened.

So when we went to Homegrown Tap and Dough near Wash Park we were delighted to have JuJu as our server. She was chill and attentive with a very easy going personality. She took great care of us with a very easy sincerity about her. Love the pies here and the fact that they consistently have #ComradeBrewing SuperPower IPA on tap… PERFECT. Highly recommend this spot on S. Gaylord St. Thanks for a great experience JuJu!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Cozy Atmosphere & Amazing Food! We had such a fantastic dinner at Homegrown Tap & Dough! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the warm, cozy decor—it has such a great vibe that makes you want to stay and enjoy the night. It does get pretty busy, so I’d definitely recommend calling ahead or making a reservation if possible. Now, onto the food—absolutely incredible! We tried the “Pete-za,” and wow, it was a game-changer. The flavors were spot on! The burgers were juicy and cooked to perfection, and the wine selection paired perfectly with everything. On top of all that, our waiter was wonderful—friendly, attentive, and made our experience even better. We’ll definitely be back for another amazing meal. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and a welcoming atmosphere!

Danny Ray's Food & Spirits is a family-owned restaurant that has been a neighborhood favorite since 1982. The new location offers more space and a welcoming atmosphere. While the house steak for breakfast may not have met expectations, the fried Mexican crossover dishes with eggs are highly recommended, along with their delicious pancakes, French toast, biscuits & gravy. The friendly staff and great menu selection make it one of the best local gems in town.
Fantastic. I grew up in Lakewood, and Danny's Carnation was a staple of the community. It is great that they were able to open in this new location. I have been a few times now, and every time is a winner. Great quality, and a ton of food for the money. This place, just like the old Carnation, has become a regular in our breakfast rotation. I recommend the steak and eggs and the biscuits and gravy, although you really can't go wrong.

Go for the MANY televisions (mostly sports) and drinks. Service was excellent, friendly and attentive, drinks were excellent and good sized. The downside: food was barely passable. Steak was tough and chewy, could not finish it. Chicken parm was okay, but thin tasting sauce and not fresh mozzarella. So, go for lively atmosphere and drinks - watch the game at the bar but IMO eat before.

Fantastic experience at Danny Ray's from start to finish. Everything was amazing. The server and all the staff for that matter were all very attentive and seemed to be happy to be at work. Love to see that. Keep up the great work all. Will definitely come again if ever in the area.

They truly are one of the best if not THE best diners we’ve ever had the privilege to eat at and be near our home for dining. Danny and his daughter are absolutely amazing, couldn’t ask for anything more when it comes to being the best in the hospitality business. If you want, good food, good service and great hospitality. This restaurant has been on my list of places to try now for a while now and I’m so glad I did! We stopped here on our way to Red Rocks for a concert and had a delicious meal! I love places that serve breakfast all day, but a lot of times they close by 2 pm. This restaurant stays open all day! My mushroom spinach omelet was perfect- and it was no problem to order a side of green chili for it. The chili was also good! My husband got a salad and said the grilled chicken on it was the bomb! Our server was very friendly and attentive and the food came out fast. The place is inviting and clean and the prices are very reasonable! Hope to return!

Mexican restaurant
Brewery Bar II is a delightful fusion of a sports bar and honky-tonk, renowned for its hearty Mexican cuisine, particularly the beloved green chili. Nestled in Denver's vibrant Art District on Santa Fe, this establishment has embraced outdoor dining for the first time in its long history, transforming its parking lot into an inviting urban oasis. Diners can enjoy views of the historic Rio Grande grain elevators while savoring their meals amidst lively murals and the buzz of Kalamath traffic.
Nothing fancy but comfortable, casual and great little place to eat. Great servers and the kitchen is incredibly fast, our food was up in less than 5 minutes during the lunchtime peak. Servings were generous and the beer was cold and tasty. It’s definitely not in classic old Mexico style, more like Gringo-Mex, the kind of local Mexican style restaurants most of us non-Latino folks from this part of the country grew up on. There’s nothing wrong with that, you like what you like!
Michaelangelo — Google review
This is as old school Denver as it gets. Hidden between the a fading warehouse district and the light rail line off Santa Fe, you step into a time machine and go back to when John Elway was slinging tuddies while this place was slanging truly Denver-style mexican food with a bar that would make your grampy tear up. Love the nostalgia and the food is still pretty good too. Had to respect their extreme level of smothered where you can’t even tell what you’re eating, also for getting called a wuss by the waitress for not ordering spicy, she was right. Long live what’s left of old Denver!
Kevin F — Google review
Great service and reasonable food value. There are plenty of menu options of flavorful Mexician fare. My smothered chicken burrito was delicious and filling!
R W — Google review
We have been long-time patrons, however, we no longer live close enough that we can order take-out and have it eaten within 20 minutes. My SO ate there today and ordered takeout for me. He specifically told the waiter to have the cheese and lettuce put in a separate box so I wouldn't have warmed lettuce on a burrito I was going to have to reheat anyway. This is the second time he has made that request and the second time I have had warm lettuce on my burrito. He didn't re-order for the age-old fear that my food would get spit on or worse. Needless to say, the waiter only got 20% of the tip that he would have otherwise gotten had the takeout order been as requested and I wouldn't be writing this review and taking off a star for the not so great take-out experience.
Jenifer L — Google review
Fantastic hole in the wall bar with the best CRISPY chile relleno I've had in a long time. Pictures don't do it justice. If you value good margaritas and good food over a "fancy" atmosphere, eat here.

One of the few reasons I EVER travel to Denver! Quite simply the best chile con queso in the state! Their chile rellenos are amazing as well, providing a unique cheese and texture. Smothered in chili of 3 choices in heat, they are absolutely amazing and I’ve never been disappointed. Sometimes I stop in just for a chips and queso with a beverage. Fantastic lowkey Mexican restaurant/bar with amazing food options that I have loved for over a decade. MUST TRY!!!!

Not as great as it used to be. The last couple of visits, my food was barely warm. Seems like the pork content in the green chile has been reduced as well. Granted, it’s been a while since I used to hit this place regularly, but think I’ll keep right on goin’ next time.

Nestled in Westminster, Aspen Lodge Bar & Grill is a delightful local eatery that offers an eclectic mix of global comfort food in a cozy setting. The restaurant, owned by the charismatic Mesut Cetin, boasts a quirky decor featuring lava lamps, festive Christmas lights year-round, and nods to Iron Maiden. This unique ambiance sets the stage for an exciting culinary journey where you can savor everything from classic breakfast dishes like French toast to hearty bar favorites such as wings and burgers.
If you're looking for a local place with great food and a cool atmosphere, Aspen Lodge Bar & Grill is somewhere you need to check out. It's a hidden gem in a little unassuming shopping center in Westminster. I went for the Philly Cheese-steak and really enjoyed the vibe. When you walk in, you're greeted with Iron Maiden Videos on multiple screens, Multiple, fully decorated Christmas trees and dozens of Skis covering the walls and ceiling. Plus some interesting/creepy dolls/elves? The Owner and his daughter were extremely friendly and we had a good time chatting with them. The story is great and the food was excellent. The Philly Cheesesteak was one of the best I've had and Teresa said her Fish n Chips were good also. The Turkish Baklava for desert was also excellent. Support a local non-chain restaurant. Stop by Aspen Lodge for great food and cool vibes. ( Update: It was so good, we went back a second time for lunch before we had to come home. Also note: They don't open until 12. )

Was our first time stopping in. The atmosphere was comfortable and cozy. You can have a full conversation without scream over anyone/anything. Was blessed enough to meet the father/ daughter duo tonight. Service was incredible from both of them. I had the Aspen Burger and my husband got the Philly. We absolutely loved the home made food. Also had Mac N Chesse bites and Baklava, they are 100% homemade. Can’t wait to come back again.

I was looking for a quality lunch for my son and I. Noticed the high reviews, and most definitely, this is a GREAT place to dine. Food was stellar, Philly’s were perfect (should have grabbed a second to go!) and the beer buckets were cold and cheap!! Love this place, owner is a very nice gentleman. I showed up 15 minutes before they opened, and he invited me to a seat while he fully opened up. Wish we had this place in Parker, I’d be there weekly! Must try them out, it’s an excellent experience!!

A great local bar with fantastic food. Would be impossible to duplicate the vibes of this place if you tried different 100 times. Iron Maiden with a sprinkle of Christmas, a whole new world and it’s awesome. Great service, and the food is marvelous. Everything is freshly made, I’ve had the steak Philly both times I’ve eaten here. It’s not the most authentic Philly but it’s a great sandwich, very satisfying. Wonderful local spot.

My wife and I finally tried this legendary place and it surpassed expectations. Yes, the Philly is the best in Denver. Having been to Philadelphia many times, this Philly is as good and, I think, even better. The fries, wow. Special. The owner, Mesut, is one of the nicest people I’ve met in a long time. The atmosphere and decor is a perfect compliment of personality to an amazing meal. Do NOT pass on varying this Denver cultural gem.

Incredible environment as soon as you walk in, especially if you're an Iron Maiden fan! The music isn't overpowering and the overall atmosphere is just so welcoming. The food was well beyond expectations and is one of the many things that will keep us coming back! The main thing is the hospitality and customer appreciation. If you're looking for a new local spot with great food, music and hospitality then this is your pick!

Pizza restaurant
Blue Pan Pizza is a laid-back pizzeria in Denver that offers a variety of Italian dishes and local beer and cocktails. The specialty here is the Detroit-style pizza, known for its airy, thick crust with caramelized cheese and tangy sauce. Jeff "Smoke" Smokevitch, along with his partner Giles Flanagin, has introduced this style to Denver. In addition to Detroit-style pizza, they also serve New York and Chicago thin-crust pizzas as well as gluten-free options.
Blue Pizza does NOT miss on their Detroit style pizza. Highly recommend the Brooklyn Bridge as well as the Parma Italia! Tried the tavern-styled-Chicago-inspired thin crust with sausage and mushroom and got to say, Jimano’s in Englewood serves a better thin crust! It’s missing on the seasoning. Also, $3-$4 per topping is a bit much. Feedback aside, this is STILL one of our go to spots for pizza in Denver. Cheers!
Ryan M — Google review
Blue Hill, you were the first pizza place that didn’t disappoint. If you are looking for Detroit style pizza, you will be satisfied here. I dream of the Gold Hill pizza. You could even add a little green on top to take it a step further. We also ordered the Brooklyn Bridge, but it wasn’t nearly as good as Gold Hill in our opinion. I would substitute cream cheese for the ricotta next time. You don’t need a side of ranch here, put it away. Don’t even ask for it. Just eat the pizza Karen because you’re going to love it if you just eat it. Only -1 because the waiting list was confusing and the waitress was a little rude to us explaining how it works. If people are new, it might be a good idea to be nice to all customers. If you are waiting outside, maybe pop your head inside every and now and then because I think the hostess just forgot about us. The wait might be longer than expected, but the staff works quick and it’s so worth it. Parking nearby is just residential parking, be mindful of the residents nearby.

My experience with the food truck was wonderful! Both guys were super friendly and fresh, piping hot, deep dish pizza was served out pretty fast. 😍 loved the pizza and loved how the sauce was layered on top on the cheese to keep the dough from being soggy. Great way to serve it! The pizza itself was fantastic! The crunchy edges were perfect! The thickness was on point. Loved these guys ans the pizza they severed.me and my kiddo today! Will definitely be back and will definitely recommend this place for a great thick deep dish pizza! Way to go guys on securing another loyal customer to the family.

Absolutely stunning pizza! 🍕 I love pizza with thick bread and Detroit pizza is my favorite. I would recommend to go straight to the famous one: Brooklyn Bridge. While other flavors are great, the OG with pizza sauce, pepperoni + sausage and whipped ricotta is just fantastic. The portions are big, we couldn’t finish 1 small pizza (2 people), because we ordered a side dish (artichoke dip!), so come here with big appetite. I can’t wait to come back, up to the hype ❤️🧚🍕

Very good Detroit style pizza. Their garlic and spicy ranch sauce are amazing and you can customize anything even all the specialty pizzas. Come hungry because the individual size will be more than most people can finish. Do yourself a favor and try this place.
Zer0cool86 — Google review
This place is a failure on every level. I tried this Blue Pan location twice (dine-in, in April 2025, and takeout in July 2025). Both instances were totally disappointing, with most of the failures coming from the kitchen. During the dine-in visit, we arrived and were told that the wait time for a table would be one hour. We went to a nearby bar and got a round of drinks to wait it out. When we returned, the chef/kitchen manager was at the host stand. He told us he couldn't give us an update on the wait for a table, as he didn't know how to use the application that the host uses to seat guests. Finally, the host returned, and we were seated. We ordered a pizza and two appetizers. plus a round of drinks. Our pizza arrived before the appetizers. When one person in our party inquired about why the appetizers hadn't arrived yet, the server told us that the kitchen employees had started cleaning up early, and the order had been overlooked. This was on a weeknight, about an hour and a half before the restaurant closed. This led us to ponder why the kitchen would have been cleaning up so early, if the restaurant didn't close for another hour and half, and the place was on an hour-long wait. Very strange. Finally, the apps arrived, with the server telling us that there was a small discount for the kitchen staff dropping the ball. I had one drink, two pieces of pizza and a portion of two apps and the bill came to $40 (with the discount). I found this to be quite expensive, but was even more irritated to see on the bill that there was a mandatory fee added for the kitchen staff (the same people who botched our order trying to get out of work early, and who also couldn't use the host's software). We thought to ourselves: why are we forced to pay a fee for the kitchen, when they can't get an order correct? And, if they are getting a cut of the server's tips, why can't they use the host's software?). It seemed like we were forced to pay part of their salary, but they weren't forced to increase their level of service to us. This was at a time when the minimum wage in Denver county had just been bumped up to $20 per hour. So, we are forced to pay an increase in prices to cover the increase in minimum wage, PLUS a kitchen fee, PLUS a suggested 30% tip, and we can't get things to work in our favor. Weeks later, I decided to give this place a second chance. I ordered a pizza to-go. The host's phone skills were mediocre. I picked up the pizza and took it home, only to see the grubby fingerprints of the kitchen staff on the box (see photos). I thought this was rather odd. Doesn't the kitchen staff wash their hands? What other plates of food are contaminated by their grubby, unwashed hands? All of them? They make $20 an hour, get a kitchen fee added to their paycheck, plus they get a cut of the server's tips, and they can't put a pizza in a box without getting it dirty with their unwashed hands? Really? But the real disappointment was yet to come: when I tried to open the box, it was evident that the inside of the box was sticking to the top of the pizza... I had to get a spatula to remove the cheesy top of the pizza from the cardboard. This resulted in most of the sauce clinging to the top of the box, and basically ruining the pizza. Some of the cardboard from the box was embedded in the pizza. Every pizza restaurant on planet earth uses those little plastic things that keep the top of the box from touching pizza -- except this Blue Pan location. This place is a disaster. We will not be returning to give the kitchen staff one more chance. They got a pay raise, a cut of the server's tips, AND a mandatory kitchen fee (never mentioned by the server when you order), and they still can't do an average job. Bye! We'll go to Giordano's next time.

Food was AMAZING! We got the Detroit style pizza (little rose) and it slapped so hard. Simply delish! The service was fine and people were friendly. Only small complaint is that the chairs screeched super bad when moved. Probably happened like 6 times and I flinched each time.

Steak house
A5 Steakhouse is a chic and modern restaurant located in Denver, offering a unique twist on the traditional steakhouse experience. The establishment boasts a stylish setting with retro vibes, making it anything but stuffy. Chef Max MacKissock curates a menu that features high-quality steaks, including Japanese wagyu striploin, alongside updated classic steakhouse dishes like wedge salad with crispy guanciale and beef tartare katsu sandwich.
First dining experience at the A5 Steakhouse for a business dinner downtown Denver. I did Uber to avoid parking issues since there was an Avalanche game that night…we won!! Showed up early for happy hour cocktails at the bar, friendly staff! Happy hour menu was great… must try the Wagyu Yakitori and Macaroni & Cheese Croquette! Cocktails turned into a dinner with colleagues and we were not disappointed. The ambience in the back was great and you could have a conversation and be heard. Several entrees ordered with sides and served family style, best way to try as much as you can in one setting. Favorite steak was the Denver. Chimichurri sauce was to die for! Korean lettuce wraps were super tasty! Everything was delicious. Our server, Ricky, showed up with a smile every time he came to our table. He was very patient and accommodating. Our drinks were never empty, especially my water glass which was filled about 5 times. (He’ll probably remember me after that comment. 🤣) Bathroom was clean, always important to know these things. Definitely recommend this restaurant!!

Truly a spectacular experience. The atmosphere is inviting and not pretentious, they play great classic rock. The service here is attentive, welcoming and informative. The food is out of this world. The steaks are delicious as well as the sides. We ordered the bacon for an app and loved it. I highly recommend. With out steaks we choose the Mac and cheese croquettes (so good, the spicy sauce they come with….delicious) and the mashed potatoes. The potatoes might be the best I’ve ever had (don’t tell my mom that). The only slight miss for us was dessert; neither of us cared for the chocolate bar it was a little sour and the banana cream threw us off. That aside it’s so worth coming here, I can easily say it’s the best steak I’ve had in Denver and honestly probably my favorite meal.

Came here by myself and on top of one of the best meals I’ve had in my entire life, the service from Brent was next level. Great recommendations from him for oysters and sides and of course I had to try the Tri-tips on top of those. I’m hoping to return before I leave town and try some dessert because I couldn’t possibly find the room tonight! All photos I took after having a bite because I couldn’t resist haha. Thanks to the A5 team!

A5 Denver – A Cut Above the Rest Really nice steakhouse—definitely above the standard. Great selection of beef cuts with interesting traceability back to the farms, which I always appreciate. Loved the knife—non-serrated, as it should be in any serious steakhouse (seeing a serrated knife is always a sin!). That said, it could use a bit of sharpening. I had the Denver steak and it was cooked to perfection: beautifully crisp on the outside and juicy inside. The only small note—there was just a bit too much pepper in the crust for my taste. Service is impeccable: friendly, casual, and attentive. The decor is also worth mentioning—modern and stylish with cool paintings of cows that give the place a unique vibe. Highly recommended if you’re in Denver! It’s just 5 minutes on foot from Union Station, or about 40 minutes by train from the airport.

Generally excellent with exceptional food. All three of us think it's the best meal we've had in years. And special thanks to the staff for recognizing our aspiring-food-critic son's 11th birthday. (Photo taken as we were leaving.)

Absolutely loved everything about our experience here, from the music, decor and environment to the service and HH deals as well! My husband and I enjoyed a delightful pickled jalapeño colossal shrimp cocktail and calamari from the HH menu then decided to treat ourselves to the fine steak selection for dinner. We came here before a comedy show at Ball Arena and it was just a delightful walk away from the venue. Awesome food and drinks- so good in fact that I forgot to take more photos!! Please forgive me 🤗 but can’t wait to come back.

Italian restaurant
Dio Mio is a casual and modern counter-serve restaurant in Denver's RiNo neighborhood, offering creative pastas and Italian small plates. The focus here is on noodles, with a seasonal menu that features unique dishes like furikake-topped radiatore with basil pistachio pesto, as well as classics such as cacio e pepe with mafalde, pink peppercorns, and Parmesan.
Dio Mio is great for a weekday dinner with friends. Getting a table was easy considering they don’t take reservations, and I felt their service was great despite the fact you order food and drinks at the bar. Loved the specialty cocktails from the bars I tried — dragonfruit limoncello spritz and blood orange margarita. For food, my friend and I split the arancini, focaccia + prosciutto, and the Rigatoni (fennel sausage, kale, calabrian chile, lemon breadcrumbs). The pricing was great to share all this and 2 drinks each, it came to $52 per person with tax and tip.
Aundya A — Google review
It was my first time stopping by and everything was delicious. Do yourself a favor and get the focaccia bread with blackened butter even if you're going to get pasta, it's absolutely worth it. You will never have better focaccia bread. Both pasta dishes I tried were really great and I was a big fan of the Panzanella.
Jared ( — Google review
Randomly came into Dio Mio last night and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and friendliness of the staff there. Will definitely be back. Im a sucker for good Italian food, and live on Larimer and pass this restaurant almost on the daily. With you having to order from the counter, I've always been hesitant to go in since it gives off almost a fast dining vibe as youre passing by, but DO NOT let this hold you from stopping in! The wifey and i ordered their date night special , a beautiful salad, spaghetti (we added meatballs), cacio e pepe, and tiramisu . We also ordered a glass of wine and an old fashion. After the tip the bill was around 100$ , so pretty reasonable for a nice Italian dinner for two. Now let me get into the food quality. WOW ABSOLUTELY the best cacio pepe I've ever had, extremely unique, super flavorful, and obviously homemade noodles. Absolutely delicious. The spaghetti and meatballs, also bomb.com ! The pasta sauce was absolutely amazing, couldn't get enough of it and used the delicious homemade bread to get it all down! Im not a salad guy but the wifey said it was very good, and made a comment on the candied nuts adding a nice layer of sweetness. Tiramisu - almost reminded me of a snickers snickerdoodle cake. Absolutely amazing as well, maybe the best tiramisu I've ever had. All in all, amazing experience. Great wait staff and the food is absolutely the star of the show. Can't wait to go back 🙌

Different concept - you sit and then go up to counter to order. Food is amazing! Service is great! First time we came, I got the spaghetti and meatballs, my usual in most spots and it was phenomenal. Today I got Cacio e Pepe and it was equally good, but I’m def a spaghetti girl through and through. The Chef also brought us a complimentary plate of their artichoke plate and it was decadent. I love artichokes and this definitely hits the spot. But if you come, the real star of the show is the focaccia with the black butter. It’s one of the best I’ve had. It makes my mouth water thinking about it! Always a good experience here!

Absolutely amazing! One of the best lasagnas I’ve ever had rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The drinks were great, the salad was fresh and delicious, and the service was top-notch. Everything was just perfect. Highly recommend!

Visiting from out of state and my friend brought us here for dinner. We lucked out for Wine Wednesdays of $35/bottle from a large selection. I love a great Rioja and my first time trying a rosé Rioja. Loved it! Upon entering, you are seated by an employee and take a look at the menu and then you walk up to the counter to order. They handed us our wine and glasses right there and then we went back to our table to wait for our dishes. The vibe is casual and comfortable but clean and modern. Staff was friendly and the food was delivered quickly. The pasta is obviously made in-house based on its amazing texture and definitely enjoyed the place. Would recommend and definitely would visit again if back in Denver.

The cozy restaurant, opened by Amy Cohen and Hayden Barnie, provides a nurturing atmosphere with globally influenced comfort dishes like sourdough waffles, salted chocolate chip cookies, and pear cranberry muffins. Their full espresso bar serves up fine coffees from El Salvador, Colombia, and the Himalayas.
I am usually not a brunch girl, or am I? I have been converted, this is the BEST brunch place I ever tried. The place itself is super cute, the service is very quick and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious. I wanted to go there again if it wasn’t closed the next day but this is a MUST. I absolutely loved the scram breakfast sandwich and the strawberry yuzu waffles! The duderino is such a delicious take on espresso martinis. Overall I highly recommend! 1000/10

This was the best unplanned breakfast we had in Denver! We stumbled across Stowaway while looking for breakfast on a Monday morning and damn am I happy we stopped in. The place is super cute with a semi-shaded outdoor patio and large open doors so you can sit inside and get the best of both worlds. The servers were immediately welcoming, the coffee was excellent and it just got better from there as our food arrived. We got the breakfast (Scram) sandwich with ham and avocado and the oyako-don which was so delicious and flavorful! If you’re in town definitely stop in for breakfast—it is worth it!

Wow!! The food here is artfully prepared and incredibly flavorful. The matcha is excellent. The atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing. Stowaway is truly delightful cafe! The dining choices are eclectic, diverse and superbly prepared. Freshness and enticing presentation are hallmarks of the offerings. The drink selections vary from coffee & chai to wine & saki. The overall ambiance and dining experience is wonderful. We make a point to dine here every time we visit Denver.

Everyone working was so kind. Our food was soooo scrumptious! We got the scram sandwich, sourdough waffle with peaches, and the salmon bowl (Iforget the actual name of it sorry). I could eat that salmon bowl everyday for lunch, it was so fresh and filling. I also got an iced latte that I would rate a 3.75 stars. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re in the Denver area!

Calling all vegetarians! The veg version of french dip is phenomenal🙌🙌 after 15+ years of vegetarian lifestyle this place floored me with my first french dip. They have "normal" french dips for meat eaters that the whole crew loved. Great NA options. Will 100% go back. Love the vibe but the food is fire!

Craft cocktail bar, dark, good drinks, and great food. Best chicken tenders (some Japanese type of cooking) we've ever had. Sit at the bar, the table service is spotty. Open late, so it's a great option after a Rockies game.

The wife wanted to try this place, cause it was a "french bulldog themed bar." Not sure about that, but they did have a giant painting of a french dressed as a court knight. I would have taken it, but its 8'x6' size wouldnt fit under my shirt.... But while we were there we split the frenchie dip sandwich and buffalo wings. The au jus for that samwich was so friggin good, I literally drank the rest of mine and hers. And I feel it was healthy and restorative ;) Crazy good, you should try. The wings were good, a little hotter than I like, but I'm not a buffalo guy. Service was awesome, I felt bad that the place was empty, but we've seen it standing room only -- so must have been an off-night.

This place is legit. Read some of the rave reviews online, stopped in around 430 before a Rockies night game, no trouble getting a table, servers were friendly and on point. Total Yum! The Chile Verde and Ham n Cheese Croissant. The cappuccino was also delicious. Will surely return.

Relaxed place for brunch and breakfast! Very cute interior and an outdoor patio. High quality pastries and bread all made in-house from scratch. I recommend their breakfast sandwiches, coffee drinks, and for fun Bloody Marys served with mini croissant. Bacon was thick and crisp. They provide full service at the table so you can sit down and enjoy your meal if you'd like. Servers are professional and on point. I was greeted immediately and sat outside at my request. Rio took my order and made great recommendations. I felt welcomed and enjoyed my meal, the check was presented as soon as I requested it. I noticed quite a few to-go orders being picked up. Ordered a few pastries to go for later - lemon raspberry croissant, chocolate eclair, and a mango pop tart. Deelish.

Laid back, somewhat trendy vibe, indoor and outdoor seating. A bit pricey but the food did not disappoint. I ordered a build-your-own breakfast Sammy, choosing duck confit, bacon tomato jam, Gruyere, arugula, and an over-hard egg, on a croissant. Perfectly cooked egg, super tasty duck, and the bacon tomato jam gave just the right zing. Can't wait to go back and try other items!

Expensive, yes, but excellent. The Benny has a bit of citrus and acid in the hollandaise, the pork has crisp edges, egg perfectly cooked and the croissant toast they should like market as a separate product. I think the salad is a great accompaniment and way to lighten the dish. Good for soaking up leftover hollandaise and egg too. Getting a croissant also was a bit excessive but again excellent pastry. The shatteringly crispy top is great but often you then get a light weight crispy only croissant underneath. Not so here where thicker and rich butter base awaits at the bottom with two full length batons of chocolate. I wish it was cheaper, but I have no complaints about the food or service. Always enjoy a chance to stop by for bfast.

The lively atmosphere, complete with hip-hop music and boisterous diners, makes it an ideal spot for a night out.
20/10 experience. Our server was amazing and gave great recommendations. Every dish, every cocktail, and even the house wine was a level of quality that you don’t normally get and it was so refreshing. The menu was the perfect size with a good balance of unique & traditional dishes. For apps We got the French onion soup, pate, and the Brussels sprouts which all surprised us with how good they were. The main course we had steak and duck WOW! Cooked to perfection with unique flavors. The restaurant is on the pricier side, but worth every penny in my opinion.

This place is dope. We have been here twice now before and after the MICHELIN star! Their menu is simple and doesn't overwhelm you. The dishes are exceptional and is beyond perfection. We got brunch recently and the Pate was DELICIOUS!! Our server was great with wonderful recommendations. This spot is very minimalist and does the job. We will certainly come back :)

Sought this place out for their French onion soup after a craving - it did not disappoint. It was quite delicious and you could come just for that. Additionally, the pate was really enjoyable with some of the best bread I’ve had. Oysters “escargot” were fine, but I do prefer regular raw oysters. We also shared mussels and fries and they were very good. The broth for the mussels was very rich and flavorful. Their solo for the fries was also really good. Wasn’t impressed overall with the cocktails, they were fine. Had a few extended periods of having trouble getting our servers attention, but nothing major. Also enjoyed some good people watching! Definitely check this place out if you’re in Denver and have a French food craving, especially for French onion soup.

I had been wanting to try this place for a while and made a reservation almost two weeks in advance to bring my family, who was visiting from abroad. The restaurant is very chic and trendy, with great ambiance and a vibe that feels more something like you’d find in cities like Chicago. I had really high hopes, considering it’s featuring in the Michelin Guide. From the outside, it seemed like a top dining experience, and the restaurant was completely full, which I was happy to see. But true quality is shown when a place can maintain excellence even at peak capacity, and unfortunately, that was not the case. We ordered several dishes to share across courses. We started with the lox, the pâté, and the steak tartare. Then we had the burger, followed by the chocolate cake and the crème brûlée for dessert. Everything was just OK. Nicely presented, but none of the dishes stood out in flavor. The wait between courses was also loooong. I was very close to standing up and go to the kitchen myself to ask for our food. I’ve been to many French restaurants and Michelin ones, and while the ambiance here is overall very nice, this one doesn’t rank near the top. I left with mixed feelings. I really wanted to love it, but I’m not sure I’d come back.
Gabriela O — Google review
This restaurant is a unique mix of upscale food with a casual vibe. We walked in on a Sunday evening and were able to get a seat right away. The staff was very helpful. We loved eating here. It was quite loud though, just with the noise of people talking and music, so if you prefer somewhere for quiet conversation you might opt for somewhere else.

Brasserie Brixton is excellent. The food was outstanding - honestly better than anything we had during a trip to France a couple years ago. Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed but still felt special. Highly recommend
Kyle M — Google review
We recently dined at Brasserie Brixton on Sunday evening. We ordered the duck, steak frites, and pâté — and taste-wise, we were quite impressed. Each dish was cooked perfectly, with great attention to flavor and technique that truly reflected the French culinary influence. That said, while the quality of the food met our expectations, the portion sizes felt underwhelming for the price. Given the cost, we had hoped for servings that were a bit more generous. The ambience was average-nothing particularly memorable or off-putting, but it didn’t stand out either. Overall, Brasserie Brixton delivers on flavor and execution but if you’re looking for value and atmosphere, you might walk away feeling slightly underfed and uninspired.
Asha S — Google review
I was really looking forward to trying Brasserie Brixton but unfortunately it fell short for me. The fries and pasta were extremely salty, the burger was under seasoned and just looked kind of sloppy for a restaurant of this caliber. My drink took 15 minutes to get - I even got the first app before my drink. The stone fruit app was extremely vinegary and the vinegar was the only thing you could taste. I noted on my reservation that it was for a Birthday and no mention of that was made by our waitress. There was a lack of acknowledgment on that end. The french onion soup and the steak from the steak frites was indeed tasty but not worth returning just for those items and the fries were salty as I shared prior. I had higher expectations from a Michelin star restaurant.

The food and drinks were good but overall a much more casual dining experience than expected. The interior is dimly lit and service was a bit slow. Tacos were tasty but came on paper plates - we ordered a few different ones and weren’t clear on which ones were which when served. The pastor (I think) which was cooked on a spit outside was delicious. Our waiter was curt with a dry, sarcastic sense of humor - we were amused but some would find it rude.
UnlockedVistas — Google review
First time visiting and, overall, I'd eat the food again but probably take-out. Initially, the atmosphere is actually just fine, with the dive bar feel and quieter outdoor patio depending on your preference. The food was solid and I was surprised with the generous portion of guacamole, and found the salsa flavorful. I thought the tacos were better than the sandwich. Biggest complaint was the cleanliness of the water cups and bathrooms. They give you green plastic cups and bottles of chilled water. The problem is that the cups were literally filthy. I used the water to dampen a napkin and wipe the bottom of the cup, and I've attached a picture that shows the result. They were so dirty that it was visible to the naked eye and every cup was the same. I ordered a coke and then used my bottle to drink water from. Additionally, I don't mind if the place is meant to feel like a bit of a dive bar but, being that it's a restaurant, the bathrooms should not have the dive bar vibe. The men's room is pretty worn out and the walls are covered in graffiti/markings. The paper towel dispenser didn't work so there was a large roll for people to pull from. A little too grungy all around for my liking.

Rebecca took amazing care of us. The food was INCREDIBLE!! The Pazole is huge, so don’t hesitate to share. Don’t miss the elote with bone marrow. I’ll be dreaming of it until I return to have it again!!

It is a total hole in the wall restaurant and not easy to find but it appears that is intentional. We walked past it twice. There were several small signs but with different names. I’m a fan of hole in wall restaurants so that was fine. It’s a fairly small place with tables very close together and it is very dimly lit. Most food is served on paper plates and water in non-labeled green and yellow cups. Beer and cocktails are served in real glass. The food was good and reasonably priced. We thought the service was fine compared to other reviews. I don’t think it’s their style to go out of their way to engage. The clientele was mixed. We went early ahead of a Rockies game so by 5 so it was quiet when we arrived. It filled up quickly with mostly people going to the game but we sat at the bar next to a highly intoxicated person hitting on the bar tender and talking about strip clubs so you never know. She never shut up but the bar tender handled her professionally. We had the guac which was really good but we didn’t care for chips served with it as they were either stale or intentionally not crisp. We had avg had a pork taco ($3). They were very small but very flavorful. My husband had a carne asada taco and I had a roasted chicken taco ($8 and each). They were good but fell apart after the first bite. I can’t say I’d go back intentionally but if happened by there , I might stop in.

restaurant. The first time I came here, I was blown away by the food It was so amazing. It wasn't amazing this time, but it was still good. The reason i'm giving this place 1 star is because of the service and the ambiance. It was so dark in there that I couldn't tell what taco I was eating and when we got the bill, we had to use our phone because it was so dark, you couldn't see the numbers. The service gets no stars because after dinner, we asked for our check and two drinks at the same time. We got our check first so we paid, and it took a while for us to get our drinks because service was slow. While my friend and I were drinking our drinks, we were approached twice by two different staff members telling us they needed our table. This was very upsetting to me because I don't appreciate being rushed out of a restaurant when i'm still drinking my drink after just paying a $200 dollar bill. What makes it worse is when I would tell them I ordered a drink and i'm still drinking it and that I will leave when i'm done, the staff would talk about us and laugh at us. I will never go back to this place again due to rude staff.

The food was so amazing and the prices were reasonable given the portion sizes! Huge tacos and the bowl of pozole is enough for 2 people (we split it). My husband is from Mexico and said the food here tasted like he was in his hometown in Sonora. Great happy hour deals as well!
Maddy M — Google review
If you're on the hunt for authentic Mexican flavor with a twist, look no further than this vibrant joint that’s redefining what it means to eat tacos. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere buzzes with energy—colorful decor, Latin beats, and the unmistakable aroma of freshly grilled meats and roasted chilies. The taco lineup is the real star here.—juicy, seasoned just right, and nestled in warm, handmade tortillas. But what really sets this place apart is their fearless approach to tradition. Enter the tacos de chapulines—yes, grasshopper tacos—and they are phenomenal. Earthy, crispy, and surprisingly addictive, these tacos are paired with tangy guacamole and a squeeze of lime that balances everything out. It's a must-try for anyone with a curious palate or a love for regional Mexican cuisine.

The cafe roasts its own premium beans and exclusively sells bags in-store. With a cozy neighborhood vibe, it features a spacious patio, high ceiling interior, and garage windows that open to the outside. The menu includes an array of freshly baked pastries, hearty toasts, potato dishes, sandwiches, and innovative specialty beverages like vanilla-orange chai and chili-spiked hot chocolate.
Rivers and Roads Coffee in Denver has delicious sandwiches and well-made drinks. The staff is super friendly and the outdoor seating is perfect on a sunny day. Only downside: they don’t have almond milk, just coconut and oat. Still, definitely worth a visit!

We aren't in Denver often, but since we heard so many great things about this place we had to stop in for a visit while we were in town. Very friendly service, great coffee and treats, nice atmosphere, and cute decor/merch. I enjoyed the Strawberry Shortcake Sweet Bread, which was very soft & moist. My husband had the coffee cake? And I think it was the Bananas Foster Latte, he really enjoyed both.

I love it here 😭 if I lived in Denver I would be here every day. The latte was honestly the best I've ever had, and every bite of food was too good to be true. Their biscuit is really out of this world, and breakfast fries is a beautiful concept that I will recreate forever. So happy that they sold the biscuit mix so I can try to create a little piece of this heaven at home. Oh, and the strawberry donut holes were also the best donuts I've eaten since being gluten free. This place is magical!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had a wonderful lunch at Rivers and Road Coffee in Denver with my daughter and mom! 🥗🍽️ We ordered the pastrami, and it was absolutely delicious. The dressing on the salad was so good—I wish I could buy it! Everything is totally gluten-free, and the portions are huge, so you definitely get your money’s worth. They also have amazing pastries 🥐 and delicious Italian cream sodas 🥤. The service was amazing, and the prices are very reasonable. The music was a bit on the louder side, but it didn’t take away from the great experience. We’ll definitely be returning! 🎶💛

This place is amazing. You can tell the folks working here love what they do - everyone is super kind and the food is consistently so flavorful and delicious. It’s also very affordable considering most places in Denver upcharge $3-4 dollars for anything GF. Will be coming back again and again

My husband and I are both gluten free, and are incredibly impressed! They are great for most dietary restrictions. The breakfast sandwich was so yummy and filling! I ordered the chai and it might be the best I have had! Perfect balance of creamy, sweet and spicy! My husband ordered the butter coffee, he said, "It was awesome! Very enjoyable." Wish I could give this place more than 5 stars.

You don’t need my five star review, Rivers and Roads, but here take it 🫴 Food is bomb, if you’re gluten free talk about an amazing place to go. I don’t know if I’ve ever had such an out of this world **gluten free** breakfast sandwich as the sausage biscuit sandwich. Bite for bite, so incredible. The pastries rotate daily, so my only complaint here is once you have a favorite don’t miss a day when it’s there because it may not be the next day!! Specifically the maple muffin was 👩🏻‍🍳💋. Half the patio is dog friendly, so just make sure you sit on the right side accordingly.

Nestled in the heart of Lakewood, Lakewood Grill is a beloved neighborhood bar that has been serving up American grill favorites and a dash of Mexican cuisine since 1951. This charming establishment boasts an inviting atmosphere where locals often gather for karaoke nights and friendly games of pool. The decor may be well-worn, but it adds to the character that regulars adore—where spontaneous sing-alongs can break out at any moment, and bartenders know patrons by name.
The food here is top notch I loved the burger well cooked the onion rings tasted like beer and the chili cheese fries with streak!!! Stephanie was our bartender and was very kind. The area is clearly transitioning and the clientele was not ideal for what I assume this place wants to be. So I gave a 1 star for atmosphere but the place cannot be blamed for who comes. Bourbon selection not great not bad.

I left Red Rocks and I spotted what looked like a local bar and I decided to stop by and it was an amazing experience. Steph B and Melissa were extremely friendly. We came in to take a shot of tequila and upon walking up to the bar I didn’t know what I wanted to order and so I said I don’t know what I want all the wild. The waitress is giving me a dirty look.. My boyfriend went to the bar and placed the order of french fries which came and they brought two small cups of ranch. So I asked if I could get some ketchup waitress/bartender/janitor.. Looks over her shoulder and says yes sure as she squats down to the table next to me and have a conversation with the customers. She comes back a few minutes later with two small cups of ketchup mind you this is a large basket of french fries, I then asked for some more touchup and she told me when you’re done. I will bring you some. I need to move onto the next order.. I mean, literally told me I needed to wait until I was done before she would serve me again. Anyhow, I live down the street and this is my first time after establishment. I probably will not come back. And these women probably are not getting a tip or a very small one at that. Thank you. next!

I'm not sure about the nightlife, but definitely do not judge this one by the outside if you're going in for lunch. Very friendly staff and the inside is clean with great food. Kind of place where the locals come to eat. There's outdoor seating. Arcade games and two pool tables. They also have a pinball machine which you don't see every day. Noodles and Company is a popular fast-casual chain known for its diverse selection of international noodle and pasta dishes, ranging from classic mac 'n' cheese to flavorful Pad Thai. Despite the growing demand for gluten-free options, Noodles and Company continues to attract customers with over two dozen enticing dishes. While some may argue that authentic Korean or Italian restaurants offer more genuine takes on their respective cuisines, the counter-serve chain impresses with its efficient service and friendly staff.
Ordered online, noodles were very dry. I called twice same night to get a solution, nobody answered. Ended up not eating the food, called the next day and said I have to bring food all the way back in for a refund since I don’t want a credit. So I will drive all the way back just so they can throw the food away anyways. It’s ridiculous!

I placed an order on the phone and I made sure to tell them if they can add enough sauce cause lately when I order from them I keep getting dry noodles so I don’t know why I keep ordering from here, but I feel like trying to be a loyal customer But I keep getting dry noodles so every time I make my order on the phone I make sure to tell them to add enough Alfredo sauce because I keep getting dry noodles and the lady told me on the phone that they measure their Alfredo sauce so if I wanted extra Alfredo sauce, they’re gonna charge me and I told her I didn’t want extra sauce I just want enough sauce so I don’t get no dry noodles This been happening for like four years that I be ordering from this place it’s ridiculous that they don’t care about their customers I give them my hard-working money for them just to give me some dry noodles
Zeleste S — Google review
The food was okay. The issue was the wait time. We ordered and ended up waiting 20 minutes or so for the food to come. It seemed like one person was cooking and 3 or 4 other employees were waiting for them and organizing multiple orders. The food was stacked up and almost everyone in the restaurant was waiting. I also miss the real plates and silverware they used to have.
Shana G — Google review
Food was fine, but woman behind the counter tried to force a 15% tip on me by pushing the "15%" option right before I tried to put my card in the terminal, assuming I wouldn't notice. Anyone forcing you to tip for what is essentially fast food is insulting. Never coming back here again.
Richard ( — Google review
Food was good. Ordered online for eat in. They did seem busy, but why over 15 minutes past the time the app said my food was ready was my food actually ready? Then when I go up the counter did the girl straight up ignore me and help more people who slowly trickled in when I was waiting longer just to still ignore me and go to the counter to bag food again with acknowledging me. Being the only person standing there and having made eye contact while I patiently waited and I still had to get her attention when she turned her back to me. So beyond rude!

The food was good but somehow scarce for the price. The slices of bread were bigger before. The place was ok, clean and the employees were friendly.

Don't know where to start with this horrible experience. To start off, the entrance door looks like it hasn't been cleaned in days. The handle should be cleaned at least once a day, at this location I doubt anyone does that at all. 2nd The staff working here is full of teenagers having the worst customer service. Don't greet you coming in, no background music just a very hostile environment. By the look of the entrance door i wasn't surprised by the mess inside. Trash everywhere, chairs scattered around everywhere. If this is what the lobby looks like I couldn't imagine what the kitchen looks like. I will make a claim with Denver Health Inspection to make a audit of this place.

Went in 25 minutes before closing, had been traveling all day, and wanted to get a quick dinner to feed my family, we got our drinks, sat down, and when they brought us our food 17 minutes before closing tasks to us “We’re you hoping to dine in today? We close in less than 17 minues.” Never told us it would be to go.. never mentioned to me that they were closing the lobby. No signage saying so either. Only got one fork, and when we went to ask for more, they were all glaring at us. No impressed.

Mongolian barbecue restaurant
Yuan Palace Mongolian BBQ is an informal Chinese restaurant where chefs cook customized bowls of meats, rice, and noodles on a grill. The key to enjoying this place is in how you pack your bowl - load it up with meat and veggies, skip the noodles initially, focus on the sauces, then add the noodles generously for a satisfying meal. The service is fast and friendly while allowing patrons to savor their meals.
Love this place! I have been going here over 30 years. Consistently great. I always get the Mongolian BBQ regardless if lunch or dinner. Lunch is one trip, dinner all you can eat! Use the seasoning guide and most of the recommendations of their secret family recipes for perfection. Their Mongolian stove is like grandma’s favorite cast iron pan, hidden seasoning comes through! Their hand made fresh rice cakes (on top of the rice) are a special treat. Always dine in. There are similar BBQ chains with extensive selections, but the flavor and charm this little treasure can’t be matched! Pretty sure original family has always owned this place. Sue was my waitress for many years until she retired. I moved away from Denver area in 2005, but come back annually to see friends and eat here. If my friends move away, I’ll come back to this restaurant and a mountain trip! Enjoy!

Mongolian BBQ is one of my favorite ways to eat Chinese food! It’s an art!! You make your bowl- pick your proteins and veges- and sauces- they cook it up on the big round grill in front of you! There aren’t many of these places left- especially authentic restaurants vs. chains- definitely recommend everyone go at least once!

The food, service, and atmosphere at Yuan Palace is unmatched. The buffet-style bar offers tons of options to craft your own unique Mongolian BBQ dish. Taste/quality & consistency is very high. Aside from the great eats, the staff are very respectful and comforting. This cozy spot is always at the top of my short list for desirable locations to find eastern Asian food.

I simply do not understand the high reviews on this place… I just moved into the area and was so excited to find a Mongolian grill close to home & was so disappointed when we went. The meat quality was not great and vegetable options were very limited. I’m use to going to BD’s & other local Mongolian grills and just use to a higher quality experience then what was given. I think it was like $30 dollars per… also felt very expensive for what we got.. we only had a small plate then left very disappointed. The cleanliness of the restaurant was also not great… stains all over the table and booth.

I wish I could give this a better review as the food was wonderful! But the restaurant experience is the sum of many things. Our waiter was young and seemed very inexperienced - things like bringing plates and bread seemed difficult. Common restaurant meal "flow" was non-existent. The food was excellent - I had linguine with clams and my wife had ravioli, both were rich and flavorful. The dessert / bakery is simply unbelievable and has to be experienced to be believed. The pastry chef was knowledgeable, friendly and helped me pick out some goodies from the vast displays. Go for the food and tolerate the service - hopefully they're learning as they go.

Woah...this place is our new favorite indulgence! Greeted and seated by one of the owners, it's like being welcomed into her home. The restaurant is well staffed, and they are attentive, responsive and professional. The food is outstanding. The ambience warm, comfortable, and the most awesome chairs ever. No sitting on planks of wood, we are talking real upholstered seating here folks! Now the food...outstanding and truly Italian. And if you have ever wanted to experience a bakery - Italian style - wait till you see this place. OMG, an array of desserts and baked goods that will blow your mind and make you forget about your diet. Do it. Its worth it. If just for one night. We will definitely return and this time...we're bringing friends!

Absolutely incredible. I very rarely go out for Italian food, and this was a special treat. Every single item was beyond delicious. Had the Arincini, the meatballs, chicken Marsala, and the chocolate lobster tail. When I say that there was not a bad item (or even a mediocre one) on the menu. I mean it. The atmosphere was comfortable, and the service was amazing. One of the best dinners I have had at any restaurant in Denver. Looking forward to coming back and trying that tiramisu

A Truly Magical Encounter and Unforgettable Dining Experience! We met Gaspare completely by chance on a Friday night, and what followed was one of the most memorable and heartwarming experiences we’ve ever had. After a fun evening playing shuffleboard at the Englewood Grand, a few of us were ready to call it a night when our friend mentioned he smelled something amazing in the parking lot earlier—pizza. We wandered over to Gallo around 10 PM, only to find it was already closed. Just as we were about to head out, a kind man named Gaspare approached us with a warm smile and asked if we wanted a cookie. Turns out, he’s the owner, and even though the restaurant had been closed for over an hour, he invited us in with genuine hospitality. What started with a cookie quickly turned into a full-on pastry adventure. He served us an incredible treat called the “lobster tale” and generously let us sample more delicious creations, including his house-made limoncello. The moment we stepped inside, we were stunned. It’s absolutely beautiful, elegant, and inviting, and nothing like we expected from the outside. Gaspare made us feel like old friends, and we ended up laughing, chatting, and immediately booking a table for the next night. When we returned for dinner on Saturday at 7 PM, we were blown away. Every dish was flavorful and thoughtfully prepared, the service was impeccable, and the entire experience just radiated warmth. We even got to meet his lovely daughter, who seated us at our table. This place is a gem, hidden in plain sight and made extraordinary by the heart behind it. Gaspare, thank you from the bottom of all our hearts. You created a moment we’ll never forget. Everyone must try this restaurant. The food is fantastic, the desserts are next-level, and the kindness is absolutely unmatched. 🎤 BIG shoutout to Gregorio, our wonderful server! Thanks for making our evening special!

The food was delicious!!! I had the bruschetta, pesto tortellini, tiramisu and some pastries to go. All of it was amazing and I can’t wait to go again. I wish I had taken more pictures. The bread is a little more doughy than I’m used to for bruschetta but the taste is to die for. The pesto tortellini had a generous portion of spicy Italian sausage but it wasn’t greasy. It was delicious.

I'm originally from Munich, Bavaria, and I need to say that the beers are really good. Especially the Kellerbier! And the Pretzel (or Brezn) is the first american pretzel, that in my opinion deserves to be called a pretzel - it's not fatty, nor soggy, or weirdly sweet My bavarian heart is happy 🥨🍻

The restaurant's atmosphere and decor are also wonderfully done, creating a warm and inviting space where I don’t feel like a burden. They offer an allergen menu that clearly lists the location of ingredients like garlic and onion, which is incredibly helpful. Their commitment to being gluten, dairy (99%), corn, and soy-free is impressive. The staff are always friendly and have remembered me on every visit, which adds a personal touch to each experience. I’ve visited all their locations and have had lovely experiences every time. I’m grateful for a place that truly makes those of us with dietary restrictions feel valued and cared for. Thank you, Just Be Kitchen, for creating such an inclusive dining experience.

Our regular go-to for lunch or dinner when in Denver. Creative, delicious, and allergen friendly food in a restaurant that has such a cute vibe. Easy ordering on a touchscreen or through the staff at the counter. I love that they use nutritious, whole ingredients and willingly modify any of their dishes to suit individual needs. Love their burger, buffalo cauliflower bites, buffalo chicken salad, all of their soups are amazing, and their menu changes seasonally. So great to be able to dine in a dedicated gluten free establishment that serves such delicious meals!

I used to love eating at Just BE but my last few orders have consistently been bad. One of my orders a couple months back I got food poisoning from and felt horrible for a week then avoided eating from here for a while. Then I decided to try again and recently my delivery orders always have something missing from them and the food is not fresh. The BEst quesadilla is my go-to order and the last couple have such a tiny amount of the “cheddar” wiz the whole thing tastes so dry and to make it worse the chicken is dry and hard/ seems leftover from the day before. I think it may be a different chef because the quesadillas are also cut differently than before? I was really hoping the disappointing orders were just a short time fluke but it seems time to move on from one of my fav places :/

I ordered delivery from here last night and got a salad, brownie and chicken and dumplings. The first two items were great, but the dumplings were very off. They were incredibly hard and almost tasted like they were raw. I’ve ordered this dish multiple times from here, so I’m confused. The dumplings never tasted like this.

One of the best breakfast places I’ve had in awhile!! First off, the people working were so kind. Next-THE FOOD!!! This is the perfect place if you have food allergies, but still want to be able to enjoy dining in. Everything was customizable on the menu. The dishes themselves were so so fresh. The drinks were amazing. Will return!!

I’ve been going here for years and i’m so sad with my recent experience! The chicken and dumplings were my favorite comfort food but it’s soup based now, not the thick gravy it used to come in ): I asked if they changed their recipe but they didn’t so I can imagine they changed their chef. If you look at the older reviews with picture of this, you can tell it’s different. Please change it back🙏🏽!

Delicious gluten free choices!! Came here while in Denver after seeing Just Be on DDD with Guy Fieri! The French lady is awesome!! Hibiscus jalapeño margarita was amazing! The tortillas are to die for!!

We got two smoothies. I think each was $13. They had barely any fruit in them and they didn’t taste good. Whatever non-fruit ingredients that were in there overwhelmed the taste. I asked how her smoothie tastes. She said, “It’s a gentle whisper of grass fart”

Taqueria La Familia is a cozy spot in North Denver that has gained a loyal following for its authentic Mexican fare. This family-owned restaurant offers a variety of classic dishes, including flavorful street tacos with options like asada and al pastor, as well as hearty breakfast specials such as steak and eggs. The menu also features fajitas, Menudo, and vegetarian choices. Guests can enjoy fresh food served with chips and salsa while dining indoors or outside.
Great street tacos at an unbeatable price! 5 tacos for $12 is an amazing deal. The tacos scream freshness, with everything made in-house. You are greeted warmly at the door and the great service continues throughout the experience. I got the chicken and al-pastor tacos and they were fantastic. So fresh and dynamic, each bite was an experience. The house made salsas are all so fun, with one having meat in it. Really recommend this spot and I look forward to coming back!

The food was excellent and the service was fast and friendly. Great hole in the wall with authentic Mexican tacos. Guac was included with the tacos is ABUNDANCE. I tried the assorted tacos and a drink. The salsa and chips were complimentary. Local Spanish people eat here.

Absolutely delicious food in each category. I got to try three different salsas with chips that were unique and delicious. The horchata is homemade and to die for. A rare find in Colorado. The tacos were well stuffed, flavorful and cooked to perfection. Even the tongue tacos impressed me, and that's also rare. Most "Lengua" tacos lack flavor, but not here.

What a great Mexican hole in the wall restaurant! It's a small place with limited seating inside and out. Entrees come with two types of salsas. One your traditional fresh red salsa, the other a delicious savory meat salsa I can't stop thinking about. I ordered the breakfast burrito. It came smothered in a generous amount green chili. They didn't skimp on the bacon like some other places (looking at your Santiago's).

Flower Child is an upscale American restaurant that offers gluten-free and vegan options for kids. The food is delicious and the decor is cute.
It’s order at the front, then they bring items to the table for you. If you like Kombucha, they have a rotating homemade Kombucha flavor which they make very well. I always leave here with my tummy feeling great. I do think the portions are on the small side, so come here if you want to feel light after eating. So many delicious gluten free options, and the staff are attentive to your dietary needs which I really appreciate

Flower Child marries healthy food with good flavors really well. The Forbidden Rice bowl is a staple and I change the protein based on what I’m craving. The side of mac and cheese is delicious. I add a little bit of black pepper. The service is the standard order at the register and they bring it to you. The vibe/atmosphere is Cherry Creek…IYKYK. And don’t forget to get the chocolate chip cookie when you order. It’s a very good cookie!

I was wanting to try something new and healthy and decided to try this place out. The name had me a bit hesitant, but it was really wonderful. The food was fantastic, healthy, and was so good. Every bit of the ingredients tasted so fresh and good. Their teas and lemonades are a must if you like teas. They had passion fruit black tea, rose pedal lemonade, and mango green tea. The sangria's were also great! Definitely recommend the 3 berry sangria. Can't wait to go back again! Oh yeah, they also will validate your parking!

I have multiple food allergies. We had a family lunch here and I wasn't sure if there would be much for me to eat. After telling them what I couldn't eat, they asked questions about whether I could eat certain ingredients. We came up with a meal that accommodated my needs. Thank you so much, Flower Child! It was delicious and I'm so appreciative!

One of my favorite places to eat in Denver, this Cherry Creek location is a unique blend of great food, excellent customer service, and a convenient stop in a busy area. Plenty of parking (they validate). Efficient staff and operations. Variety all over the menu, healthy and tasty. I loved my Chicken Yakisoba Noodle bowl, a great mix of yummy items, and then added an Organic Smashed Potato that was delicious. No soda, but I love their lemonade. Food and customer service combo is one of the best in the Rockies.

First time to Flower Child with a friend. I had the grass fed steak with sweet potatoes and kale salad. They also had fresh out of the oven cashew chocolate chip cookies so I had to taste one. The food was very good. It is a casual environment where you order and then they bring it out to your table. 2nd visit: so good! Sat outside and enjoyed salmon with sweet potatoes and broccoli and cashew cookie and got the vegan chocolate pudding to go. The pudding was so satisfying and rich with lovely crunchy nuts and toasted coconut topping. Yummy 😋🤤 3rd visit: chicken enchiladas, greens salad and my friend got a bowl that she enjoyed.

Chicken wings restaurant
King of Wings is a laid-back establishment that specializes in chicken wings and hand-breaded tenders, along with a variety of craft brews. Founded by friends Evan Pierce and Eddie Renshaw, it started as a food truck before expanding to a brick-and-mortar taphouse in 2020. After overcoming a setback due to a kitchen fire, the business came back stronger than ever in 2023.
We've been enjoying King of Wings since their food truck days and it's so great to see that they have continued to grow and still offer consistently tasty wings and tenders. They have some of the best flavor sauces ( I really love their bourbon buffalo sauce but they're all great) and a good selection of rotating draft beers. The staff is always friendly and we've always had good service.
Marla D — Google review
Well rounded spot for wings, sauces emphasize flavor over heat. XXX Hot is balanced and not indigestion inducing. Thai BBQ uses fresh ginger. Wings are par cooked and then flame grilled. No breading on traditional wings. Tenders are large and saucy. Cauliflower is a great starter. Also had parmesan garlic fries, salty and lots of umami. Servers take care of the whole floor, anyone will check in to make sure you are having water and a good experience with no high pressure sales tactics. Great patio to watch a sunset. Bathrooms clean and large. Great spot.
Ha.Pe03 Y — Google review
I’d been looking forward to this spot, and it did not disappoint. The wings were smoky, tender, and downright addictive—so good they made you want to savor every bite right down to the bone. The chicken was seasoned perfectly, bold but never overwhelming, and every sauce had the right balance of sweet, zesty, and flavorful. The Cajun cauliflower was a surprise hit—full of Louisiana flair without being overpowering. On top of the great food, the atmosphere sealed the deal. Everyone loved my Chicago gear, and I found out they put the Bears game on when the Broncos aren’t playing. Much respect to the Broncos, but I’m a Chicago fan through and through, so that made me feel right at home. This place is simply amazing, and I can’t wait to come back.

Long time passer-by, first time goer. Came to this GREAT restaurant on a Friday evening for an early dinner as a party of four. Was very impressed with the food, attentive service, and laid-back, casual atmosphere of the place. I always favored deep fried wings, but this place grills its wings and, wow, they are good this way too! Several sauces to choose from on the menu, and they also have chicken tenders if you're not into traditional wings. Other apps and shareables as well. Wings seemed a bit small, but maybe that's because they're grilled... I dunno. Good sized free parking in the adjacent parking lot. Overall a great experience and looking forward to return visit!

I can’t stop recommending this spot. King of Wings has quickly become my favorite spot for wings and fries. Everything is done right and the service cannot be forgotten about. We were greeted quickly and every person coming by was friendly and helpful. We were seated on the patio which has comfortable chairs and oversized picnic tables. The patio is also covered with heaters on the ceiling which was perfect for the snowy night we visited. The wings are grilled which may not be some people’s favorite but they are juicy, tender and so fresh I was blown away. Each sauce is different and tasty, with their spicer options really packing a nice kick. My favorite is the Tangy Gold. Either way you will be happy with your selection. The Cajun Parm Fries are seriously the crispiest and tastiest fries I’ve had in years and I think I’ll order them on their own for lunch next time I’m in the area. Check this spot out, you’ll be glad you did.
Zach B — Google review
I've been on the hunt for a new wing spot, and I think the hunt is finally over. While the wings are a little pricey, the smokey flavor of their grilled wings perfectly compliments their carefully crafted sauces which are brimming with flavor that is sure to set your tastebuds alight. Wings and tenders alike are cooked to delicate perfection. There was even an issue with my bill that they took care of with professionalism and grace! Without a doubt, will be back!

The elite wings of denver. Honey mustard flats will be in my dreams. Thai BBQ on the tenders was a sleeper hit. Onion rings were a cherry on top. Cold Diet Coke in a can? Put a fork in me.

Lounge
Lakeview Lounge is a vintage dive bar located at 2375 Sheridan Boulevard in Edgewater, offering a cash-only experience with pool and foosball tables. The highlight of this spot is its patio overlooking Sloan's Lake and the Denver skyline, providing a refreshing change from typical neighborhood bars. Regulars gather on the patio to enjoy stunning views of the lake, especially during sunrise and sunset.
This is not a bar — it’s a living artifact. A sacred ruin. A cash-only cathedral of cheap beer and brutal honesty parked right on the edge of Sloan’s Lake, Denver’s glimmering puddle of cosmic reflection. The Lakeview Lounge doesn’t care about your apps, your IPA flights, or your precious little debit card. Bring cash, order your drink, and stay out of the way. I asked for a Coors Light — and bless them, they poured it into a glass. Not a mason jar. Not a frosty mug. A glass. Clear, cold, straight from the tap. It hit exactly as advertised: like a liquid apology from the state of Colorado itself. Not fancy. Not ironic. Just beer the way it was meant to be — fast, cold, and consumed within earshot of a pool cue smacking chalk-dusted vengeance into a corner pocket. The pool table in back? A survivor. Sloped. Slightly angry. You don’t line up shots so much as negotiate them. The regulars know the lean, the light, the curse words that help. Play at your own risk. And then there’s that patio — a stone slab of outlaw luxury with a direct line of sight to modern America in four acts: bar, busy street, walking trail, lake. You sip your drink with traffic howling ten feet from your skull, joggers panting past in the distance with Bluetooth ears and haunted eyes, and beyond them all, the lake — shimmering like a lie you almost believed. There’s peace out there, if you squint past the madness. Five stars. No flair, no plastic in your wallet. Just glass-poured salvation, a battered pool table, and the best damn view in the city. The Lakeview Lounge isn’t for everyone — just the lucky few who know exactly where to sit and what to order.

Just took my friend to this bar and the bartender Anna was so rude. I asked her if she had lemonade and she said I need to see your IDs as I’m just doing my job. Then on top of that, she got my drink wrong, but I didn’t tell her because she was so rude to begin with. I just wanted to drink my drink and get the hell out of there. This was my friends first experience and last of this place I will not go if she’s ever working. I have been going there for years and loved this place. This totally changed my mind today. What a disappointment!

Went here Saturday the bartender seen me standing there for 10 minutes. She kept waiting on other customers as they walked up finally I walked away. So my friend and I jumped on our Harley’s and the bartenders she was standing in the bar looking at us hugging the young guy who works there laughing. I think it’s poor service. That’s really make the bar look bad. I hardly ever come to this bar but definitely won’t be going back anytime soon.

Can’t go wrong with the LVL. Great Happy hours, staff is always nice. Clientele are very friendly. Has a good jukebox and two pool tables. And, of course, a great view of Sloan(s) Lake.
Mark — Google review
0/5 the bartenders are creepy sexist and disrespectful. Last night me and my friend ordered a coors on draft, the bartender asked for plastic or glass, we said glass, I was given a bottled beer and she was poured a 16oz glass. The bartender (with black glasses clean shaven and stretched ear lobes) left her beer in front of the draft handles for several minutes while he ignored us. After several minutes of trying to wave down a bartender we finally got her beer from a different employee. As she walked away the bartender smiled at her. What was that about? It made all of us uncomfortable and we will not be back

Redeemer Pizza is a new addition to Denver's pizza scene, brought to you by the team behind Dio Mio. Initially starting as an expansion of their baking capacity, Redeemer Pizza now offers New York and Sicilian-style pizzas through its alley slice window. The establishment has also added a full-service dining room where patrons can enjoy small plates and whole pies with a bottle of wine.
Our first order was delicious. Tastes like NY sauce with thin, crispy crust. We were worried about ordering it well done, but it was a solid decision. The bottom isn't burnt at all. * I am from Chicago & my husband is from NY. It's hard to please us both but Redeemer delivered
Sandi L — Google review
Ya so I’ve had this pizza a couple of times and my fiance and I decided to order in. I understand that this pizza is on the crispier side, however our pepperoni pizza is burnt! Who puts this in a box and says “ya that’d edible it should be fine!” Crazy! For me the crust is the best part. Delicious pizza, but I think if the pepperonis start to burn, it’s been in the oven too long.
Maggie F — Google review
My wife and I came on a Sunday afternoon and had heard about Redeemer so we thought we'd give it a shot! As we walked in, some of the guys were making some dough and greeted us as they worked. It was cool to see them work. We sat and ordered at the back patio. We were the only ones there that afternoon. I'll agree that the pizza slices are definitely not NY size, and felt pricey for the size. We got cheese, pepperoni, and one special slice. The pepperoni was definitely the star of the three it had a great crust, flavor, and great distribution of pepperoni across the slice. The cheese was perfectly okay, nothing more nothing less. The special slice was really good but the distribution of ingredients over the slice was quite poor as most of them were situated right at the point of the slice. The initial bite was fantastic, a bite with peppers, artichoke, and arugula. After that it became more like an arugula cheese pizza with white sauce. They did have water coolers & cups out there but they were not filled so that was kind of a bummer but not a huge deal. Overall though pretty good.

Absolutely the best pizza I've ever had. The food came quick and tasted perfect!! My brother recommended the best combo, pepperoni slice, and garlic knots with hot honey. It'll change your life! Don't pass this place up!!!

Update 2: Sad to say that they’ve fallen back into inconsistency, especially considering my most recent pizza was specifically ordered well done. With the pizza scene becoming more competitive in Denver, there’s no excuse for this. Update: Getting better! Prior: Their pizzas used to have a solid char on them, but have gotten more and more undercooked over time. Without the option to order well done I don’t see myself ordering regularly again. Still a decent pizza.

Growing up in the northeast, this place reminds me of the local joints back home. The pizza was fantastic New York thin crispy crust style. I really enjoyed the sourdough crust and would say it’s my preference now for a pizza. Usually whenever I eat pizza my stomach and gut is destroyed after, and that did not happen here. I’d say this is probably the best pizza spot in Colorado. They also have a great beer, wine, and cocktail selection. Much thanks to Connor, Charlie, & Spencer for their hospitality. I will have to check out their sister restaurant Dio Mio!
Joshua D — Google review
Restaurant reviews are tough, so many people have so many different palates and cultural tastes that are vast and varied. I've known cultures and tastes from nearly a dozen forms growing up. I've had amazing Jewish Deli food, Chinese, Mexican, Puerto Rican, and a vast amount of samplings of European, classic Italian and varieties of Indian, American Indian, etc. etc... So when I hear of a place that is the "best pizza I've had in Denver" that's a place I have to check out. We arrived at Redeemer Pizza on a Thursday evening around 6pm, we were seated immediately. The bar is unusual with small batch and family distillery libations, definitely a plus with me.. Within 3 minutes a server came over and filled our water glasses and placed a menu on the table. We decided to see what the pizza's were like since that's their claim to fame. My wife ordered a basic cheese with spinach and kalamata olives; I ordered a sausage and peppers pizza to see how well those flavours blend. After about 20 minutes of prep time the pizza's arrived, on the table there was parm and red pepper flake and the server then brought over their dill ranch for dipping the crusts. We dug in, the pizza's were cooked but the crusts were just a little over done with black areas contrasted with perfected brown. Usually this is indicative of an oven that is too hot, 800 deg or more, and it's a bit of a fad lately to "quick cook" pizza's in ovens of this type somewhere around 3 minutes or less. Traditional New York style pizza ovens run about 600 deg and cook time is about 4-6 minutes, this temp and time gives a very even cook with little chance of the charring that was apparent on these pies. The cheese was quite good, and had just the right amount of flavours of each of the 4 cheeses. The crust was exquisite and I had pretty much expected that since these dough's were slow risen in a chamber with a sour dough "mother". The crust was flavourful, light and had the right amount of crunch on the bottom with a very beautiful bread chew above the crust line. Definitely one of the finest crusts I've had on a pizza since leaving New York City 30 years ago. The sausage on my pizza was quite good, high quality, and had the Italian spices in just enough subtlety to give it the right amount of Neopolitano feel. When I tasted the peppers I was a bit surprised, I had basically expected a yellow pepper that had been either long term pickled or at least given an extensive vinegar bath, what it turned out to be was classic Greek pepperoncini. In all honesty I was a little disappointed that it wasn't really spelled out as Greek Pepperoncini on the menu, it almost seems a little disingenuous to give it such a name when it's really just basic pepperoncini. They seemed to be good quality though. On my wife's pizza was the kalamata olives and spinach, the spinach presented itself as fairly fresh but the olives were strange, I couldn't put finger on it at first when my wife said, "these are NOT kalamatas" and indeed she was right. The olives had all the taste of a good quality black olive but they were certainly NOT kalamatas. Another disappointment and to be honest really took away from our experience. The best flavour besides the crust was the dill ranch, it was delightful and would make an amazing dressing for any good classic salad. Our meal for two pizza's and a glass of wine for my wife came to about $75.00, overall I have to say I was fairly disappointed in the experience despite the positives of the good service, the dough/crust and the amazing dill ranch. While the crust was amazing, the cheese was good and the sausage was excellent the rest of the toppings were quite a bit less than expected. I honestly can't really recommend this place for a good pizza. Updated August of 2025. I've noticed that there are a lot of answers from the owner on some of these reviews. I've also noticed that the items on the menu that weren't as suggested on the menu have changed. It would be nice to see the owners response to this.

This place is legit!! In my personal opinion there aren’t to many great pizzeria’s in Colorado but this one is top quality. All of the pizza we tried was delicious. Thin, crispy and cooked to perfection. The service was on point, everybody was knowledgeable, helpful and polite. We had a great conversation about pizza, they really know there stuff. The spot itself was a vibe for sure. Felt almost like fine dining in the front and old school pizzeria in the back. Can’t wait to get back there for some more pizza..

Words cannot describe the amazing experience I’ve had here. The staff is SO hardworking and up for good conversations as well. Every time we didn’t know what to order, our kind server Nick (I think his name was) gave us a run down of why each dish is unique and delicious. Thank you for such a fun restaurant experience!! Our experience started off a bit rocky where our server forgot about us after bringing water but before taking our drink order, but FNG bounced back nicely after that mishap. Came here for brunch on a Sunday. It was easy to get a reservation on OpenTable, requested outdoor seating but was told it would be a 45-min wait even though I specified outdoor seating on my reservation. Lucky for us a table was leaving and we only had to wait about 10-15 mins to be seated. We ordered the birria grilled cheese, chicken waffles, and churros. All were delicious, esp the fries that came w the grilled cheese—that was to die for!! Aria was our waitress, she was super attentive and helpful when we needed to move our table to a shadier area away from the scorching sun. Btw, the outdoor area is dog friendly!!! 😃

Ordered delivery and it arrived earlier than promised, hot and ready. I had the hanger steak with green chilli hash. I should have requested the sauce on the side, but otherwise it was delicious. Very easy to replate as well. All of our meals were prepared with extra touches that made the meal seem special. Will definitely be ordering again!

The ambiance was nice in this small restaurant. I had a basic breakfast that had cold eggs and bacon. It still tasted good. I was drinking water and the waitress said she would bring more. After waiting 20 min I gave up and asked for the check. She never remembered or noticed my empty cup through the entire meal. They do offer some interesting Benedicts I will try if I ever return.

American restaurant
Woodie Fisher Kitchen & Bar is located in a historic 1880s volunteer fire station, paying tribute to the Union Station neighborhood's heritage. The interior features elegant leather chairs and intimate booths set against the backdrop of red-brick walls and antique fire hoses repurposed as modern ceiling art.
We stopped into Woodie Fisher for breakfast on our way out of town to ski. The building was once a firehouse and they left a lot of the original structure in place. It was really cool and they decorated beautifully. We ordered coffees, steel cut oats and the firehouse breakfast. I am told the firehouse breakfast was wonderful. The sausage was cut into cubes and fried crispy on every side. The entire plate was cooked perfectly and was very filling. My oatmeal was fine, how one would expect it to be. The toppings were good. I appreciated that our server was able to ensure I was not eating anything I am allergic to. She was quick and helpful. All and all a great experience.

Great place near union station for brunch!! Awesome drinks and delicious breakfast! The patio is perfect. Our server, Bianca was top of the line with more effort than usually seen. No busy at all,but it was a Monday morning. Will go back over and over.

Morning sunshine beats down on breakfast diners. The breakfasts burrito was solid, but nothing unusual, besides for fingerling potatoes which helped. Side of French toast and cappuccino good as well.

With so many great dining options in downtown Denver, Woodie Fisher is a must skip. We were guests at the Hilton Garden Inn which is attached to the restaurant and wanted to grab a bite after checking in. I ordered the grilled salmon with risotto and my fiancée had the patty melt with a side salad. The risotto and salmon were very bland. It seemed like the kitchen completely forgot to salt anything. We still ate because we were hungry after our travels. However, I couldn't eat all of the salmon because it was raw in the middle. The patty melt was also disappointing. The only thing with flavor in that sandwich was the peppers. Our server was not very warm, but did an okay job. I have a gluten sensitivity and they seemed to be knowledgeable when I asked about accomodations. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great! But back of house leaves a lot to be desired. Definitely not worth the $70 (we were overcharged on one of our cocktails also). I emailed the general manager, Susette, on Friday afternoon about our experience and as of Tuesday morning I haven't heard back.

Woody Fisher is a stylish restaurant in Denver’s LoDo neighborhood, conveniently located near Coors Field and Union Station. The atmosphere is modern and inviting, and the addition of the rooftop lounge makes it a standout option for dining or drinks in the area. The menu offers a good variety of food, wine, and beer, with pricing that feels reasonable for the neighborhood. Service and overall ambiance contribute to a positive dining experience. Overall, Woody Fisher provides a strong mix of atmosphere, menu selection, and value, making it a solid choice for those looking to enjoy a trendy spot in downtown Denver.
Cory S — Google review
The hospitality was very disappointing. We were a group of eight. Called at 7:15 and reserved a table for 8:00. We arrived on time and were enjoying everything. Then suddenly we were asked by our server for a last call order from the bar. This was before the main courses arrived. It changed the entire vibe. The food was delicious but as soon as the entrees were served our server asked for a dessert order! They were rushing us out. None of us had ever been treated like that in any restaurant. And, everyone of us had worked in restaurants before. Last call? We were in the dining room running up a large bill! The manager gave little satisfaction. He blamed the server. If they weren’t able to accommodate our large party they shouldn’t have taken the reservation. We thought it was fine dining. Mistake. Wine service and selections were poor. I did leave my bag there by mistake however, and a staff member made a run to get it back to me. Cheers for that.
Danny J — Google review
The service and food were pretty good, but this was sooo gross to look at while trying to enjoy my dinner. We were sitting under what seemed to be a disgusting infestation of dead bugs right above my husbands head. I don't know if it was an AC unit or something specifically made to attract bugs, but it was covered in insects, spiders, webs, etc.
Samantha U — Google review
I really like this place for a decent meal that's not too noisy. The service is never WOW, but they have been consistently friendly, attentive and efficient. I've had the house burger, salmon salad, calamari, all great. Also cocktails are pretty good. Perfect for large groups or solo dining, for winter is cozy and in summer they have the beautiful outdoor terrace.

ESP is a unique listening bar that offers a relaxing atmosphere for music enthusiasts. During their 'floating hours,' guests can enjoy a quiet environment to appreciate great music while sipping on well-crafted cocktails or tea. The bar's design and sound system create an exceptional ambiance, making it perfect for a date night, hanging out with friends, or enjoying some solo time at the bar.
This is one of my new favorite spots in Denver. Absolutely amazing atmosphere. They capture the listening bar ambiance in both surroundings and music selection so well it's unbelievable. I was blown away by the quality of the sound system, inviting atmosphere, and friendly staff. Would 110% recommend stopping by!

Absolutely beautiful interior. The design is carefully curated and cozy. The sound equipment and music selection is top notch. The drinks are fantastic. The highballs were wonderful and reminiscent of our trips to Japan. The cocktails and NA options were both excellently crafted and tasty. They had a robust offerings of spirits, especially Japanese whiskies. Additionally, the small bites were great. The burrata was a favorite and excellent value. And the service was kind and attentive. This is easily one of the best spots in Denver for a relaxing drink.

Unbelievable vibe, great drinks, cool hang, and a beautiful vinyl high end sound system that sets the tone. Service is great and the bartender is amazing. Worth stopping in for an afternoon drink. Can get busy later in the evening. One of the best cocktail bars in Denver. Worth a stop in.

I’m not even a big wine drinker, but I came for the vibes…and they did not disappoint. The music was on point, incense was burning, and the whole atmosphere was just effortlessly chill. It’s the kind of place where you can actually hear the person next to you and have a real conversation. Such a great spot to unwind and hang out.

If you’re visiting or a local, you MUST visit this place. Vibes, food, and drinks are unbelievable. As a non drinker, there were plenty of options and we tried everything except the nonalcoholic beer. LOVE LOVE LOVE !!!!

This place is a vibe!! The ambiance makes for a perfect date night. I went on a solo date and chose a sparkling wine. I didn't eat, but the crowd seemed to love it. I'll definitely go back and try the food. The jazzy soulful sounds from the turntable really set the mood!

Any place that plays Boards of Canada, Sade, and Sinéad O'Connor within a few hours gets a gold star from me. But combine that with a world class analog sound system, an atmosphere that can't be beat, and great drinks and service, and it might just be one of my favorite places I've ever been. I've been a handful of times and can't recommend it highly enough whether you're going for a special occasion, a first date, or just to vibe on your own. And their installation outside for the August First Friday was great, too, with food, drinks, vendors, artists, and their great musical selections. I hope they continue to offer that experience too. Props to the owners and management for creating such a splendid setting.

11/10! If you are open to new music and want a relaxing environment, you have found it at esp. We came in close to open, so it looks fairly empty, but by 5pm the space was almost filled. The staff hand selects albums to play for all guests, with each record on display during the duration of play time. I was introduced to many artists that are now played on repeat. The wine and Japanese whisky selection is top notch. I recommend getting some bread for the table (it’s so fresh!). I don’t even mind coming in alone to enjoy the tunes being chosen. Thanks for creating such a homey space!

Mango House in Aurora is a unique shopping center and food hall that showcases the culinary traditions of refugees and asylees. The vibrant community exudes passion, offering a variety of aromatic stalls such as Urban Burma, Odaa Ethiopian, Jasmine Syrian Food, Rocky Mountain Sudanese, Nepali Mountain Kitchen, and Golden Sky Asian Food. In addition to delicious home-cooked fare, Mango House provides health services, pharmacy and bank transfer services, and an international grocery store for Colorado's refugee community.
The door near the main road is closed. So had to go all the way to the back to get in. But felt like stepping into a totally different county be being in US. It had a lot of ethnic goodies and restaurants. We tried Urban Burma and it was delicious! Will go back again soon!

Came here for a restaurant on a weekend, but learned it was inside the Mango House. It was a nice activity center with restaurants, stores, and cultural activities. There was a lot of representation with different country flags hanging from the ceiling. Same with the restaurants, there were several different cuisines.

Interesting place with various shops and refugee services. There's a small food court with some very good ethnic food booths.

Intriguing! It is a great place doing great things for society! The variety of food offerings is wonderful. The only down side is the noise. Even with few people in the dining area it is very difficult to have a visit because everyone is shouting to be heard above the noise of other people shouting to be heard. Go for the intrigue and the food, not for a visit.

If there was an option of giving a zero on this place I would but there isn’t. I rented a room there and he asked for a deposit so I did just that and he gave no contract or anything so you can basically get out whenever you want. The deposit was $400. I then wanted to stop renting in that place. And he never gave me back my $400! I tried to talk to me he ignored me and just walked off. He’s done this to many people that I know. Worst place ever.

My daughter was wearing a pride tshirt for the parade on Sunday. We heard about this place on tiktok. We walked around and most booths were closed. The small grocery store was open but as we walked towards the entrance the men sort of blocked the way. When we turned around to see if a restaurant would be good to try, a man at the food court gave my daughter a very rude stare. There weren't many people there, and the atmosphere was not friendly so we left. And not that it should matter but I am half Asian, and my daughter is white passing to give you a perspective. We felt like the building sighed with relief when we left.

My friends and I eat at this food hall at least once a week. There are a few different restaurants with something for everyone. I really like the chai from Swahili Grill and my partner gets the Halal chicken wings and waffle fries. The burmese restaurant on the end is where it's at. They have a delicious fermented tea leaf salad and yummy tofu triangles. The prices are good and everyone is super friendly. Thank you Mango House!

By far the BEST alt/metal pub we have visited while travelling. Excellent decor, lots of tables, food is excellent and reasonably priced, and you're allowed to smoke on the patio -- which is a rarity. We would've loved to have the opportunity to see a local show here, but were not staying in Denver much longer. Also, PEEP the drink garnish (photo). It is hilarious!

What a cool place! My friend and I went here for the first time last night and had an absolute blast. The aesthetic is right up our alley and the food here is great (extra love for the poutine and beet salad). We also loved that they let you round up when paying so that the money goes to the Palestine Children's Relief Fund. We're from Fort Collins, but will definitely be hitting this place up again the next time we're in town!

This place is really cool. It's a horror themed dive bar that sells bomb healthy food and it's open late. I will definitely be back here again 💯👌🏽🔥.......

Food, Service, Drinks, Vibes, Cleanliness doesnt matter. This bar is 100% the real deal. Not performative at all. Me and my friends from NC stumbled upon this joint and was blown away by the demonstration of every day communism. The staff aren't just employees, they are residents of Denver who care about the misfits. The level of care and compassion from the bar staff to the back kitchen truly made a memorial night for us and gave us a safe place in a very dark time. But not just we were taken care of, over the course of several hours we witnessed the staff offering compassionate service to everyone who happened upon their establishment that night. If you need a refuge. The Crypt is the place to go.

Was in town for a wedding and I always google alt/punk/emo/metal bars when I'm in a new town and this was the first to pop up. I have worked at and visited bars all over the country and I've never written a review for one untill now. This place kicks ass. It knows exactly what kind of bar it is and why people like it. The staff are great and the vibe is immaculate. Made me a little homesick even, since I used to work at a place just like it when I was younger. But it's almost like they knew I would be, because they have Malört behind the bar which is a big deal for a Chicago south side degenerate like me lol. They even have a sign for it outside. I drank, danced, got a pretty girl's number, and had a blast being there and that's what it's all about. Cannot reccomend this place enough if you even remotely enjoy a grungey vibe now and again. If I lived in Denver, I'd be bothering them every day to hire me.

Fort Greene is a charming bar located in Denver's north Globeville neighborhood. Despite its unassuming exterior, this brick fortress houses a cozy and unique atmosphere behind its pink front doors. The interior features vintage velvet couches, antique oddities, floating cloud sculptures, disco balls, and artwork available for purchase. The bar offers American classics and cocktails made with local spirits in a warm 19th-century setting.
A space alive with history, character, & a surprise in every corner. I attended a gallery event here with the UnderWvrld & it could not have been more spot-on. I enjoyed a delightful “Daisy” cocktail with absinthe, & we met & spoke with the owner, Eleonora, who is renowned in the city for curating this mysterious, magical, & welcoming place. An experience like no other!

Is there another bar in town where they let your dogs serve you beer?!? I’ve been trying to get my dogs employed for years and they said yes even considering they have limited dexterity. 🐾 in all seriousness, this bar is cozy and unique. They feature delicious guest spots in the kitchen. DJ nights are fun and the quiet weeknight events are even better. Fort Greene is a place that really feels like your cool artist friend’s loft living room. I can’t recommend it enough!

I’ve been searching for a great cocktail bar in Denver and I’ve finally found THE ONE! No gimmicks, no pretentiousness… This place features incredibly unique but balanced cocktails, a cozy atmosphere you could easily spend hours in with friends or alone with a book, not to mention a staff and fellow patrons that make you feel right at home. Will 100% be making this a regular stop on nights out. Bonus, it’s far enough away from the “party” neighborhoods that the odds of having your night derailed by a gaggle of plastered college kids is slim to none. Super bonus: FRIENDLY DOG’S ARE WELCOME!

This space is sacred. Ft. Greene feels like home….. cozy, safe, and alive with queer joy. I don’t typically drink and I never feel left out because the NA options are incredible (I love that they always have a caffeine option for the late nights). It’s a destination bar, so no bro-energy, just good humans and better vibes. You can feel the care in every corner…. from the owner’s heart, to the playlist, the lighting, the glassware, and the energy. It’s the kind of space that makes you remember why community matters.

My very favorite bar in all of Denver! The vibes and atmosphere are absolutely immaculate, flowers and clouds floating from the ceiling, lots of seating and ample patio space. There are always TONS of events happening here that are so thoughtfully curated and community centered. I am so grateful to have this space and it is my #1 spot to bring folks from out of town to! I also LOVE that they have a community fridge outside - I always try to bring a few items with me whenever I visit the bar.

Fort Greene is so much more than a bar; it’s a community space where you can show up as you are. A beloved spot for so many in Denver and for good reason. Cocktails are incredible, great patio, lots of N/A options, staff are very welcoming/kind, it’s aesthically 10/10 and the vibes are always great. Perfect spot for a date night, a night out dancing with friends or catch one of their many events they host in partnership with the community. It’s also queer and female-owned. Spend your money here!

We love Fort Greene and so grateful that it’s in our neighborhood. It is a wonderful place to gather or get involved in diverse community events. It is a nice reprieve from the craziness that has taken over Rino and Lodo. The cocktails are thoughtfully crafted for those who imbibe as well as a curated N/A menu. From date night, to dance party, it is worth a visit.

We love this place for a nice fresh salad. The greens are always so crisp. The avocado was so creamy in mine and my husband's salad. The portion size was great for us. We both has some left over for a snack later. Highly recommend!

I hate to give negative reviews but feel like people should be warned. I placed an order for pick up (I recommend not doing this) for a fish taco bowl and came to find that the avocado was rotten, arugula wilted with slimy pieces and to top it off, stale chips. Definitely not ok after paying almost $20 bucks. I tried to salvage what I could and the only edible thing was the salmon. I had to throw the rest away. I won’t be ordering from here again which is sad because I love sweet green.
Ngan N — Google review
I've paid $17 for a miso salmon and what I got was the smallest portion of salmon and the fries are raw in the middle and the rest is more like a piece of cardboard. There's no traces of miso flavor whatsoever. I will definitely not be back nor I recommend this place.
Lili O — Google review
If you eat in store it’s amazing! Maybe the best salad I’ve had from a take our type place. Highly recommend.
Michelle M — Google review
This is the second time they forgot to add a very crucial item that I added to my order so I feel like I need to say something. The first time they forgot my avocado and it wasn’t that big of a deal because my delivery service just refunded me the cost of the add-on. Tonight they forgot my entire salmon and it made the entire bowl look disappointing. It always looks like they just toss things chaotically into the bowl which makes it not worth the price at all. On top of that, they always take forever which doesn’t make sense based on my previous point of it looking like they were in a rush to just toss very few ingredients into the bowl. I love sweetgreen, but I will not be giving this location my business in the future.

Food is not good. Whenever this is ordered for lunch meeting I leave the meeting, I won't even eat it when someone else pay for it. It is an awful option for large groups and should not be used for business meeting. Edit response to owner. There is nothing to discuss your food is bad and I am letting people know that they should not order it for group meetings. I would rather leave a meeting and buy food from somewhere else than be given this food for free.

Sunday Vinyl, located in LoHi, is a popular wine bar known for its impressive turntables and diverse music selection. Whether you're enjoying French bubbles at the marble bar or indulging in oysters and wagyu beef tartare in a booth, the ambiance is enhanced by the eclectic tunes playing through the speakers. Partnering with Vinyl, Please, a local record-of-the-month club, Sunday Vinyl offers an engaging musical experience featuring anything from Alanis Morissette to Nas.
I took my wife to this place for Valentine's Day. We had an amazing time and the dinner was a special three course meal for Valentine's. All the courses looked awesome and tasted delicious. The ambiance was modern and romantic. I also loved the music they were playing throughout the night (I mean you better if you have vinyl in the name and thousands of LPs in the restaurant lol). The service was incredible with friendly and very attentive staff. I also loved the fact it was next to the Union Station overlooking the train platforms. I highly recommend this place for a date night or special occasion.

Seeing that this restaurant was nominated for a James Beard Award and checking out their vibe online, I knew my wife and I had to try it on our visit. I loved the atmosphere right away, giving a quality fine dining experience paired with a great music playlist (this particular playlist heavily featured Lauryn Hill and Little Simz 🔥. Please put it on your Spotify profile!). I enjoyed that the music was loud enough to enjoy but not so loud you have to shout to hear each other. I had the Guilty Pleasures cocktail and it was easily the best cocktail I had in Denver all weekend so I couldn’t have it just once. The Croquettes were insanely good and I loved the Gnocchi Parisienne. Outstanding flavor! My wife had the Al Pastor chicken and she didn’t want it to end. The staff was very nice and helpful as well. I look forward to my next opportunity to dine here.

I don’t believe any review that is less than 5 stars. Do they not like delicious and interesting food? Do they not like exceptional service? Be real people. Pork chops are to die for. Summer melon, oysters, grilled zucchini, sliders, and mussels all exceptional. Highly recommend the beet carpaccio. The GM, Travis, is also AMAZING. I’d give Sunday Vinyl 10/5 stars.

Outstanding food in Union Station, amazingly delicious. Parker rolls made with milk bread and rosemary butter were amazing, but the pork entree was the single best pork dish I've had in my life. Barramundi was also excellent. Even the aperol grapefruit sorbet was outstanding. Servers were all very friendly and chatty and well informed about the menu. The decor was simple but nice, and the music for the mood very well. I'll be back!

Wow! We had the best time at Sunday Vinyl! We had a girl's night out & attended their Taylor Swift Wine Flight Night. We weren't totally sure what to expect & were blown away with the exceptional choice of wine, the sommelier's explanations, the wonderful service & the wonderfully fresh food. The executive chef even made a special vegan meal not on the menu so I could have a nice entree instead of picking at some apps. It was so fun to get all dressed up, try wines we might not otherwise try & enjoy the cosmopolitan atmosphere. We're already excited to come back for more Wine Flight Nights 🍷

As a tavernetta sister restaurant I was honestly expecting more. The steak was very chewy and cold, we told the waitress we didn't like it but still paid for it. I can tell they care more about the money than their customers. She did offer to change it but nothing else was honestly that good. The fish was average, and burger was definitely the best thing we tried. I suppose its a more of a place for drinks and a light snack, don't come here for a meal.
Zeid B — Google review
Sunday Vinyl has one of the most impressive wine selections in Denver, with a unique focus on wine and vinyl music pairings. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the wine, and the lack of hospitality was especially shocking. I visited with friends, and while the sommelier was knowledgeable, he was shockingly dismissive. When one of our party mentioned she liked that the Syrah was smoky, he told her she had an “immature palate,” which was rude and unnecessary. He was also completely incorrect about the tasting notes. He refused to serve another glass of the champagne from the flight, upsold her to a non-comparable option he claimed was similar, then under-poured her glass compared to the rest of the table. It set an uncomfortable tone for the evening. When asked to add one more person to our reservation, the staff responded with visible exasperation and said they couldn’t accommodate three people even though the restaurant was half full. The rigidity and lack of warmth were disappointing in a setting meant to celebrate exceptional hospitality and connection. We spent over $220 on wine and were treated as though we didn’t belong. On top of which, their water filter was beeping loudly over the music as well, we thought it was a door alarm. If we’re being asked to spend $32 on a grilled cheese with no sides, I would presume that some portion of that cost is intended to go toward a curated experience and supporting exceptional hospitality from a uniquely professional team. This visit did not meet those expectations. The wine list itself is phenomenal, but the hospitality was condescending and cold. We would return for the wine itself, but not for the overall venue. This experience stands in stark contrast to Tavernetta, where genuine warmth and professionalism define every guest experience. It would be much more cost effective to buy 2 bottles of their Luis Pato and listen to vinyls in my own home.
Kelsey H — Google review
Sunday Vinyl has phenomenal wine — truly one of the best selections in Denver — The sommelier had incredible knowledge, but the hospitality left a lot to be desired. We spent over $220 on wine alone and were treated as if we didn’t belong there. When we asked to add one more person to our reservation, the staff made us feel like we were an inconvenience and even laughed at our request. With this in mind, we simply couldn't tip even 20%, mind you we are huge wine connoisseurs and were excited for this experience. The entire experience made us feel unwelcome, like we were being judged rather than hosted. We’d go back for the wine itself, but the service and attitude from the staff are what will keep us away. Such a starch contrast from Tavernetta.

I had an amazing experience at Run for the Roses, a fantastic speakeasy-style bar in Denver. The place exudes a secretive, old-school charm with its low-key and chill vibe—which is just the kind of atmosphere I love. Getting there is part of the allure: you follow a trail of roses to an elevator that takes you underground. Around the corner, you’ll find a gated check-in counter (I’ve already said too much!). Once inside, you’re greeted by a stunning room full of character and a nicely designed bar. The service was great. Their ordering system is fun and unique—you can stick to the menu or get creative with their card-based menu, where drinks are themed around different cards. Of course, I tried their Old Fashioned, and it was wonderful —definitely worth a second round (which I did have). I also had another cocktail (can’t quite recall the name), but it was equally delightful. On the food side, I sampled their deviled eggs, which were delicious and filling. They’re great to share with a friend unless you’re really into deviled eggs! Overall, the drinks were amazing, and the food made for a perfect complement. If I find myself in Denver again, I will absolutely return to this gem of a speakeasy. I highly recommend checking out Run for the Roses if you’re in the area—you won’t be disappointed!

Strong cocktails and fun vibes. I didn't adore the ask for extra personal info at the door and the prices for some drinks were a tad over the top, but the energy was high and the bartender had great suggestions.
Jeremy Y — Google review
This is a pretty nice place. It is in the basement of the building. The place is pretty cool I have a deck of cards with a bunch of different kind of drinks which is pretty cool. They were pretty good
Joseph D — Google review
Loved the atmosphere of this place and the wait wasn’t too long to get in (about 15 minutes). Service was slow though, it took a while for them to take our drink orders. For the price of our drinks (around $22 each) the cocktails were just okay, not that amazing. We also almost got charged an extra $22 for a drink we did not even order. Overall, I think it’s a fun place to visit for the vibes but I probably would not come back a second time. (They also have a mandatory 22% service charge, which is fine, just letting people know if they are planning on visiting)
Layla B — Google review
Didn’t try the food but wow we had a wonderful time at this incredible Speakeasy! We really enjoyed the drinks. Tammy was so knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. I would put Run with the Roses on the “must visit” list in Denver!
Jadyn O — Google review
Fantastic cocktail bar/speakeasy with a cool playing card theme. Lots of amazing choices including cocktails using rare vintage spirits. Had their RFTR Old Fashioned made with their Maker’s Mark pick and it didn’t disappoint. Also did the Alaska vintage cocktail on recommendation from the bartender and it was phenomenal. And I’m not even a Gin guy. Love to come back and explore more. Highly recommend!

This is the spot to see and be seen! Hidden gem in Denver! Cocktails were amazing and the backdrop is a vibe!
Francis A — Google review
This spot was so incredible! Starting with check in, the host was amazing and made us feel so welcome, we watched him make sure to tell the bartender we were visiting from Chicago and one of us was getting ready to move to Denver which felt so nice. All the bartenders were great! On to selecting the drinks in such a fun and interactive way, which were all delicious. We got the caviar service and deviled eggs as a snack and they were also on point. Thanks for making us feel extra special!

Health food restaurant
The Green Collective Eatery is a cozy counter-serve spot offering a variety of organic salads, toasts, smoothies, lattes, and cold-pressed juice. It's a popular choice for health-conscious travelers looking for nutritious options while on vacation. Despite its small size, the eatery impresses with its adorable ambiance and high-quality food made from organic and local ingredients.
Absolutely love this place!!!!! The team is awesome and the food makes me feel like a billion bucks. Seriously this food is amazing and usually helps make my inflammation go away- I won’t ever get over their house made nut milk lattes. One of my favorite places in Denver for healthy delicious food, especially as I’m someone who primarily eats plant based. Despite me wanting to gatekeep this place I 10/10 recommend. Thank you!!!!

A nice olace to relax and enjoy a good and healthy breakfast. Loved the avocado toast, and the coffee. Went for a second time and had the Colorado Lox with a Matcha Latte and it was delicious! Tried to go for a thurd time during my vacation but it was a Monday and they are closed. Great customer service, thank you Allison for your service and smile. Will definitelly return.
Grimelis L — Google review
The Colorado Lox's was crazy delicious. My smoothie was great too. The atmosphere is hip, as is the menu. The cuisine exudes freshness. The only thing you will not like about this place is the price, but they probably could charge more. Would return.

The camera Gods were very pleased but the food was very mid. Won't go back. Toasts are hard and not warm. Some of them really lack flavour, very disappointed by the chicken red pepper one that tasted like nothing. A toast with just ajvar spread on it would have honestly be tastier. Avo toast very good. Blueberry vanilla Matcha mostly tasted like watered down matcha, tossed it and went for a matcha somewhere else.

Fresh food made to order. Love the variety of healthy foods. Service was nice and friendly staff. Parking is tricky but the ambiance was amazing.

We really enjoyed our lunch while traveling through Denver. The toast flight is the obvious call, my favorite was probably the tahini one but they were all delicious. Not pictured are all the “emerald balls” which are basically little gluten and dairy free cookie dough balls made my almond flour and butter. They had poppy seed beet, snickerdoodle, strawberry white chocolate, and chocolate chip when we went, we got a mixed selection, and then bought a bunch more because they were so yummy. Nice clean food and super nice employees.

for $20 gave me the butt of the loaf. barely toasted still flimsy. two stars instead of one because it tasted good. tiny portions for insane price.

Cute and modern toast and healthy food shop. They provide excellent service and food. Our smoothie bowl was vibrant and tasty. They have a large selection of toast to choose from. From savory to sweet, it was nice to have the option to try multiple flavors on their flight. The green drink we had was a bit too lemony for my liking but every thing else was delightful!

Produce market
Green Seed Market is a vibrant spot where you can create your own salads using a variety of fresh and prepared ingredients. The menu features options like the Kale Yeah Mother Brussel salad, packed with superfoods and delicious toppings. In addition to salads, they offer smoothies, juices, soups, warm bowls, and acai bowls. Customers rave about the Miso Ginger salad and the Hot Tropic smoothie but note that some adjustments may be needed for certain items.
An absolute must-visit for fresh, flavorful, and creative salads! I had the an amazing salad, and the goat cheese mousse took it to the next level—light, creamy, and packed with flavor. Every ingredient was incredibly fresh, perfectly balanced, and thoughtfully put together. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the space had a bright, welcoming vibe. Whether you’re looking for a quick, healthy bite or something truly satisfying, this place delivers. Can’t wait to come back and try more!
Allyson D — Google review
I got the miso ginger salad. It was too salty and spicy for my taste. But they have a lot of vegan options so it's recommended if you're visiting the Denver Central Market.
Navid K — Google review
Located inside the Denver Central Market. I ordered the Small Vegan Yellow Curry. A very generous portion of curry and rice, served quick and very tasty! For about $10 after tax and tip, awesome!! Highly recommend!!
Elizabeth D — Google review
Ordered the Kale Yeah Mother Brussel salad and added chicken - I was so pleasantly surprised by all the flavor and the large portion size! The ingredients are so fresh and I really enjoyed my salad. Portion was so large I ended up with two meals🤩
Abigail Y — Google review
There menu is pretty decent with a handful of acai bowl options, salad options, soups, bowls, and they’ve got extra & add ons. Not a huge menu, but enough options to not overwhelm you. I got their Lemon Acai Bowl for $13 which I wasn’t expecting much portion wise as I just wanted something refreshing, but the portion was really really good. Staff are quite friendly as well. The lady that prepared my acai bowl and gave it to me complimented my shirt!
Xoom T — Google review
This place is incredible! Love that they offer vegan/plant based options and I hope they continue to do so! Their rice and noodle bowls are incredible. They have a vegan sunrise bowl that is SO delicious for even non-veg folks! There is also a plant based protein smoothie add-in. Would recommend and will be back. Only flaw (not related to this business, ) is that the music inside denver central market can be a bit too much. When i visited, it was a crazy volume and genre choice to play on a sunday afternoon. Bit of a vibe kill in there, BUT the food was incredible so 5 stars
Sydney W — Google review
This is the best smoothie bowl and smoothie place in all of Denver. I lived here for years and years and years and was so sad that I only found out about this place after I stopped living here it is the greatest smoothie bowl in all of Denver, Joey, who works there was so kind and helpful, and it was really busy and he reached out to help me order to make the line move faster every employee was very kind. I highly recommend this place.
Jacques G — Google review
Huge acai bowl. I got the baloo berry acai bowl which had acai base, with lemon curd folded in, granola, coconut flakes, chia seeds, topped with blueberries and enormous blackberries. Not overly sweet. I shared with my husband and we couldn't finish it all!
