Williams & Graham is a renowned speakeasy located within a corner bookstore, offering an immersive experience reminiscent of the Prohibition era. The bar has been recognized for its exceptional craft cocktails, which feature creative seasonal and classic concoctions made with high-quality spirits and unique ingredients like tarragon syrup and coffee-infused Rittenhouse rye.
The service and drinks were top notch. I was intrigued by the variety of ingredients in the drinks that I’m not used to seeing in a cocktail but they were all delicious. Our server Ricky was attentive and on top of everything for our whole visit. I also appreciated that they didn’t let us back until they were ready to seat us and had a guide to our table. I wouldn’t say the food was necessarily anything to write home about. We ordered the ricotta ciabatta and the burger and thought it tasted fine.
Tiff G — Google review
This is a super cool speakeasy!!! From the entrance to the way you leave, very true to the old speakeasies!! Atmosphere is a fun, low light, very well done vibe. Food was fantastic with some great options. Drinks are next level!! This is one place that you better have a reservation, be standing in line 15-20 minutes before they open or it will be a long wait! When we went, it was raining, we got there about 15 minutes before it opened and we were second in line. By the time they opened the door, there were 5 parties standing in the rain waiting…. It’s that good!!
Hatikvah F — Google review
Fun speakeasy entrance, everyone was really nice and welcoming. Very dark when you go in, but that is the vibe. We got a booth which comfortably fits 4 (we were only 3). Cocktails were beautiful and tasty! Food had some winners: bone marrow and brussel sprouts were delicious! The ricotta ciabatta was just ok, and I would not order the deviled eggs again. All plates were very generous portions though!

We had so much fun here! Such a cool vibe & I loved how they put our group of 6 in a semi private area. It was great & our server was phenomenal. Kenny was so funny, very knowledgeable about the menu, checked on us regularly (our drinks didn’t stay empty for very long), & he really helped make my sister’s birthday special.

Great environment but don't go in the morning. I was excited but first opportunity was a layover in the morning. Fine, I ordered a Ceaser which every bar in the Denver airport can make. Nope, not here. Ok, give me a regular coffee with cream. Nope. They do not have cream for coffee! We ordered breakfast at 1030 am and yet, I couldn't enjoy a cup of coffee with cream? I mean, I'd rather have the Ceasar but...really? No cream for coffee?
K H — Google review
Always a great night out and the food is always delicious! Kenny was our server tonight and he was very attentive and gave me a fantastic drink recommendation
G K — Google review
We had a stellar experience. The drinks were so good! I was in the mood for something similar to a Widow’s Kiss drink, so they made a custom drink for me. Would’ve gotten food, but $12 for a side of fries was a bit ridiculous. Seriously can’t wait to come back for the drinks!!
Drew M — Google review
Cute lil vibe. Speakeasy in nature. Despite the mix up where they were seating walk ins before our reservation we had a great time! They make sure to take care of us after their mistake. I also tried it elk! Very interesting and a must try when in Denver !

Located in Denver's River North neighborhood, Death & Co is an offshoot of the renowned New York cocktail bar. Situated within The Ramble Hotel, this sophisticated space offers a lively nightlife scene with plush velvet seating and crystal chandeliers. The bar boasts an exquisite selection of libations, including the bright Rio By Nite and the rich Bad Sneakers.
Celebrated our anniversary here and it was an amazing experience. Our server Brandon was so kind and knowledgeable in everything cocktails. Espresso martini 100/10. We tried numerous drinks and each one tasted personally crafted. Evan, one of the managers, made us feel so welcome. The service was above and beyond. Can’t wait to visit again.

Very beautiful luxurious modern atmosphere. Great variety of cocktails. We tried baby squash, hands of time, outlaw, and other cocktail. Service was above and beyond. We got treated with a drink for our birthday celebration. Such a luxurious beautiful atmosphere, amazing service, and delicious food and drink.

Lovely place for really interesting cocktails. Sat in a corner table with 2 others, and just got cocktails and some popcorn. Service was very attentive and the drinks did not disappoint! The images on the menu were also helpful.

Best cocktails of the night! Awesome ambiance. Wonderful staff. Sat at the bar with plans for one drink and to move on. Stayed for 3! All delicious! Thank you for the recommendations!

I recently enjoyed a drink at Death & Co during my visit to Denver, and it was a fantastic experience! The ambiance is inviting with dim lighting and plush seating, creating a sophisticated yet relaxed vibe. I ordered an amaretto sour, and it was perfectly balanced, showcasing the skill of the bartenders. The attention to detail in both the drink and the overall atmosphere was impressive. If you're a cocktail enthusiast or just looking for a great place to unwind, Death & Co is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their creative menu!
Stephani B — Google review
This is a great place with a cool vibe. We were there for an event so the food and cocktails were already curated. They were good and everyone was friendly. Parking was pretty easy to find but it looks like it could be a challenge on a busier night.
Ken S — Google review
We were super excited to visit Death and Co for the first time and it did not disappoint. They had an extensive cocktail menu to choose from with unique options for every taste (There are even creative mocktails that have the same thought put into them as the normal cocktails). The food was also excellent and I would recommend enjoying alongside the drinks. The atmosphere was vibey and loved the music. Staff was attentive and friendly. Could t have asked for a better first visit and would love to return or visit their other locations around the US.
Christian H — Google review
Death & Co inside The Ramble Hotel has always been one of Denver’s crown jewels for craft cocktails and late-night ambience — a place that blends art, intimacy, and culinary theater. Walking through those doors feels like entering a different tempo of the city: dark, moody, elegant, and humming with quiet confidence. I’ve been here countless times, and while I still consider it one of the city’s best bars, this visit left me with mixed impressions that deserve an honest review. Let’s start with the highlights: the service team, led that night by Carey, Madi, and Sophie, deserves recognition. Carey brought a warm professionalism that fits the atmosphere — calm, poised, and quick with suggestions. Madi was kind and attentive, remembering our previous visits and drinks from before, which shows genuine hospitality. Sophie added energy and personality to the table, balancing charm with speed. Together, they kept things flowing even when the place was packed, and their teamwork made the evening worthwhile. The cocktail program, as always, was phenomenal. Each drink felt like a small experiment in precision: layered flavors, balanced acids, and presentations that would make any mixologist proud. Death & Co continues to set the bar high for craft execution — it’s why locals and travelers alike come back. Whether it’s a riff on a classic or something completely inventive, the bar program alone still earns its reputation. Now for the low point — and unfortunately, it’s a big one. The sushi dish featuring fish topped with popcorn and strawberries was, to put it bluntly, obnoxious. It felt like shock value for the sake of novelty. The ingredients clashed instead of complementing one another, leaving a confused and overly sweet finish that overpowered the fish entirely. It wasn’t bold or avant-garde — it was simply a distraction from what Death & Co usually does best: refinement and restraint. Whoever conceptualized that plate overthought the artistry and forgot about the diner. It was obscured, unnecessary, and out of place among otherwise thoughtful dishes. Beyond that, there’s an area where Death & Co could improve: attentiveness and customer loyalty. We’re regulars, and we make that clear every visit. A small acknowledgment — even a simple “welcome back” — goes a long way in building repeat relationships. Service felt slightly detached this time, more transactional than warm, and that subtle energy shift changes the experience. For a venue of this caliber, a bit more awareness of returning guests would elevate everything. In sum, Death & Co Denver remains a must-visit — one of the most stylish, consistent, and technically impressive bars in the city. But for all its elegance, it could benefit from a return to hospitality fundamentals: connection, attentiveness, and a reminder that loyalty is earned not through theatrics, but through care. A near-perfect night dulled only by one truly bizarre dish and a service tone that needs recalibration. Still, I’ll be back — hoping next time it’s the Death & Co I’ve come to love. What’s their excuse? Who cares.

Lounge
The Cruise Room, located in The Oxford Hotel, is a historic bar with a rich past. It was designed to resemble the lounge on the Queen Mary and has been a popular spot since it opened its doors the day after Prohibition ended in 1933. The bar underwent a quick remodel when a frieze featuring Hitler's face was deemed inappropriate.
The Cruise Room (Located within the Oxford Hotel), is one of the most fun cocktail bars we've been to in the city! As Denver's longest-running bar, this iconic spot will transport you back to the 1930s with its dark and moody ambiance. The classic decor and red lighting make it truly unique. We were immediately drawn in by the well-curated cocktail menu and Charlotte, our bartender, crafted us some truly wonderful drinks. The Sazerac, in particular, was one of the best we've had in Denver, and the espresso martini was also fantastic! With its delicious cocktails, unique atmosphere, and friendly service, it's no surprise we've been back twice in the last couple of weeks! If you're looking for a memorable cocktail experience in Denver, the Cruise Room is the place to be.

Date night win at The Cruise Room inside The Oxford Hotel! This Art Deco gem feels like stepping into a time capsule—in the best way. Our server was warm, quick with recommendations, and knew the menu inside out. Drinks we loved: the floral, uplifting High Tea and the bold, herb-spiced Fire on the Li River—totally different profiles, both excellent. The room’s glow, the streamlined bar, and the steady jazz make it an easy choice for date night or a classy round with friends. A little history for the cocktail nerds: The Cruise Room opened the day after Prohibition ended in 1933, and its design was inspired by lounges on the RMS Queen Mary. It’s widely recognized as Denver’s longest-running bar, and the preserved Art Deco details (think bas-relief panels and that sleek, “wine-bottle” footprint) live up to the legend. Bottom line: impeccable service, beautifully crafted cocktails, and a mood that makes you want to linger. Put this one at the top of your Denver date-night list.
Dinesh R — Google review
Great drinks and atmosphere. Room is cozy but not too loud, and service is quick and friendly. Great classic cocktail menu with some seasonal picks too. Would reccomend for a date night or night cap!
Eric T — Google review
Great hidden gem in Denver. Amazing decor, swanky vibes, friendly service (even though they were slammed), and delicious cocktails. Definitely make sure to check out the unique and classic restroom in the basement as well.
Aaron M — Google review
Very cool decor. Drinks were excellent. For some reason the bartender simply couldn't smile and the noise level by 8 pm made it impossible to talk.
Tamara P — Google review
The cocktail that never was. My partner and I arrived as a part of a ghost tour around Denver with the Oxford and Cruise Room being our final stop. We walked into the bar and stood at the corner of the bar for 25 minutes while every other person in our group was offered to order. The bartender's only interaction with me was to tell me to go get our tour guide. The server's interactions with my partner and I included bumping into me to deliver drinks to other patrons, and refuse to acknowledge my partner or I. She even looked past us twice to take orders from other people in our group - twice. After waiting and realizing we stood no chance of getting either of these people to acknowledge that they had two people sitting at their bar, we chose to leave and return to the tour in the lobby. Here's where the story becomes really strange. About 2 minutes after returning to the tour, the server walked out into the lobby, interrupted our tour guide, and said loudly "who didn't get drinks?", to which I said "us, but don't even worry about it now. We stood right next to you for 25 minutes and were ignored". She told us we should have gotten her attention. She bumped into me twice, and was inches from my partner while she fussed with the fruit for garnishing - I'm pretty confident she was aware we were there. Our tour guide had to then ask if we were okay after this bizarre confrontation. All in all, the vibe seems cool inside, but I would never expect that a place presenting as a classy bar serving $16-18 drinks would want their patrons to be snapping at the service team to get their attention to order anything. Wouldn't go back, wouldn't recommend the very repeatable menu (classic cocktails, nothing new or inventive). Came for ghost stories, but the strangest things in the hotel isn't room 320, it's the service staff in the Cruise Room.

Stopped in last night to have a drink while we were out celebrating my wife’s birthday. The atmosphere and decor are great. The drinks we had were all good. As others have stated the place is quite noisy, but not horrible. The service from Lexi was horrible. We walked in and were told by the bartender to sit anywhere. There was only 1 seat at the bar, so we sat at the only open table. The server brought 3 separate drinks to the table next to us without even acknowledging us. A group of about 15 walked in and all went to the bar. At this point we have been sitting for 5-7 minutes. The server taking care of table then proceeded to take drink orders from the group at the bar and making small talk, rather than letting the bartender take care of them. We discussed walking out and going someplace else, but didn’t really want to walk out in the cold to find someplace else with an available table. We sat for just over 20 minutes before Lexi finally came by our table to tell us she would be with us in just a minute. She asked if we had just sat down, to which I stated we had sat down prior to the large group she just helped coming in. Her reply was that they don’t have a host. She had literally walked by our table on 3 separate occasions while we were sitting there, and then helped bar patrons rather than her tables. She finally came back and took our drink orders. The drinks came out quickly, and we enjoyed them. She came back, not to check on us but to drop off our check. I paid and we left. As a long time server, bartender, and restaurant/bar manager her service was disgraceful. If she worked for me, I would either retrain her to properly do her job or let her go. If you do go here for a drink/bite to eat, I would definitely recommend sitting at the bar. We will choose to go elsewhere next time we are in Denver. There are far too many bars with much better service nearby. My recommendation would be to go to any of the bars/restaurants in Union Station instead of spending your money here.

Tiki bar
Adrift is a tropical-themed tiki bar that opened in 2012, reviving the retro Polynesian style popular after World War II. The bar offers rum-centric island-style drinks and Polynesian-inspired bites in an elegant environment with bamboo-lined walls and nautical accents. Guests are greeted by giant tiki statues at the entrance and can enjoy their food and drinks on two outdoor patios.
Amazing tiki bar with great food to pair. The drinks are incredibly priced for how quality and craft they are!!! Tiki time with trader vin is a super fun pop up, but regular service is just as special. Love this place. Also the bar manager is quite handsome 🫨🫢

Drinks look as good as they taste! Kudos to the bartender, as well as the kitchen, all the food was great, we liked the jerk chicken sliders most. Loved their exterior and interior, especially the lights. Staff was all friendly, except for our server Bill who was very awkward and inattentive, then claimed our friends didnt pay when we watched him take their money. Over $200 in cash. Very shady behavior. Aside from him, it was a good experience and worth the price!
Cam N — Google review
I've been meaning to check out Adrift & finally did! They have great HH specials on both cocktails & snacks. The coconut shrimp was hot & fresh. The mac salad was simple & delicious. Drinks were strong & served in Halloween themed glasses which was such a cute touch.
Missy P — Google review
My friends and I hadn't been to Adrift in so long & wanted to create some new memories like those of tiki past, especially during Halloween season, when the already dark and colorful ambiance is amplified! We had a reservation and were seated immediately by the very kind, well-humored, and friendly staff, especially the host whose name I didn't catch, and our server, Will. Though the prices have understandably risen, they're still reasonable considering the drinks are balanced, creative (many Halloween seasonals!), and a variety to satisfy a range of tastes and different ABVs. The food offerings (we ordered apps and small shareables) were good and of decent portions. We all liked the edamame hummus, spam musubi, cucumber salad, and fries. That said, Adrift has attentive, fun, and quick service, good food, diverse cocktails, and no rush to hurry through our visit on a busy Friday night.

Always make a reservation I forgot but the wait wasn’t terrible. We got sat outside which was okay it was just alittle cold! Our waiter was super friendly and nice! The music was on point loved! Our drinks were super cute only thing is they were very tart! But I loved the fall taste. Would definitely be back
Bee — Google review
We tried the GF spam musubi and the Thai hot chicken wings. The wings were sweet with just the right kick from the Thai chili and pineapple. The drinks were super festive and fun! They’re very upfront about the time limit, and your end time is clearly written on the table card. Overall, it’s a lively spot if you’re looking for a fun drink and a good vibe!

My fav bar in Denver! I really appreciate the effort put into Halloween every year. Service is always great and drinks always hit the spot
Andres E — Google review
Great tiki atmosphere. Loved the decorations and vibe. Our server Tess was great. Drinks tasted perfect. Altho, my two drinks were mostly ice so they're gone quickly. The biggest disappointment is the food menu. It's basically just appetizers now. A food truck has a bigger menu. Come here for drinks but plan to go somewhere else for dinner. If you want to know more about the background of tiki, I recommend the book Smuggler's Cove.

Bar
Union Lodge No.1 is a charming bar with a Prohibition-era ambiance, offering an array of 19th-century-inspired craft cocktails. The drink menu features nearly two dozen cocktails, each accompanied by black-and-white sketches and historical background. The vintage flag above the bar pays homage to Colorado's statehood, while patrons can enjoy unique concoctions like the Red, White & Blue Blazer.
If you are looking for a great tasting and unique cocktail, this place is a must. The atmosphere is awesome and the service was over the top (especially from Austin and Abby). I will definitely stop in again next time I am in Denver.
John C — Google review
Great selection of hand crafted cocktails. Drinks were well made and reasonably priced for the service and experience. I wanted to order the gin fizz but opted for one of the punches instead. Seems hard to go wrong no matter your preference. But order something that allows these bartenders’ experience to shine - if you’re going to get a rum and coke, do it somewhere else.
UnlockedVistas — Google review
Wow, what a great place! The vibe and atmosphere are just right. Rustic look, good music to set the tone and great drinks. The menu pays homage to early century cocktails but has plenty of modern options as well. Drinks are fairly priced as most seem to be in the $1?.00’s. The drinks in the picture are a Whiskey Mint Julep on the left and a Sherry Cobbler on the left. Not what we’d typically order but that will change going forward. Both were excellent!
David — Google review
Passing through town and met one of my former co-workers here at this bar. She said that it always pops up on her list of best bars and places to go to. We got there just after 6:00 and the place was pretty packed and looks like the crowd turns over pretty quickly as the bartenders are really friendly and eager to serve you your drinks. Overall great atmosphere and great drinks. We do not have any food. If I was staying here longer I would definitely go back there again. So next time I'm coming through Denver I will check it out again.

The bar itself is very cool but the music selection was very odd and didn't match the vibe/ambiance. The service was somewhat slow and the bartender was very loud and showy in making drinks and talking. You can hear him from the bathroom which is out the bar and down a hallway. One of the servers was clearly very drunk and/or high and could barely keep her eyes open, dropped glasses breaking them three times, and fell down in the hallway. The other server, Celeste, was amazing and did a great job of explaining the drinks and the interesting flag on the wall.

Went to Union Lodge for the first time. Super cool cocktail lounge. Rachel made us our drinks. We had the red, white, and blue blazer. Super cool drink to watch being made. She then made us bartenders choice drinks and it was a fall twist on a manhattan. Was delicious. Will go back again when we’re back in the city!

Visited Denver from Texas and decided to see what bars were around, found this place and seemed like it would be a good time with the reviews and pictures we saw. Vibe/atmosphere were great but the bar was a little small. Drinks were not that great. One bartender was basically yelling but I guess that’s just the way he talks, other bartender looked like he hated being there, our drinks were maybe 1/4 alcohol 3/4 ice which he just shoved in there with his dirty hands. And I should’ve told him to pick his pants up cause he was definitely feeling a draft if you know what I mean.

Holy Moly - how can it be that one tries a bar at random and it turns out to be possibly one of the top 3 bars you've ever been to? Well it happened - thank you Haden for a tremendous night, with tremendous cocktails. Try the seasonal cocktail with the house tonic- light on the quinine, it's enough to make a gin drinker out of the most reluctant...

Restaurant
Linger, located in the LoHi neighborhood, is a vibrant restaurant and rooftop lounge housed in a former mortuary. The rooftop offers stunning city views and a 1975 GMC RV serving signature cocktails. The menu features global small plates such as steamed bao buns and roasted mushroom tostadas. The space retains some of its original morbid touches, like water served from formaldehyde and the repurposed mortuary sign.
Tried Linger for the first time during happy hour on a Wednesday and will definitely be back! We ordered a lot of small plates that were part of the happy hour. The only dish that we ordered that wasn't part of the happy hour was the Bombay nachos. However, I highly recommend ordering it. It was a 10/10. My other favorite was the spring rolls with the two dipping sauces. One sauce had a little spiciness to it that was a perfect balance to the other sauce. All food was tasty and I loved the sauces each one had. The warm donuts we had for dessert were amazing as well. Drinks are a bit pricey, but if you go for happy hour, definitely try the margarita. The staff was great. Everyone was friendly. The gentleman who took us to our table was very helpful with my parking situation. As we were getting seated, I was still trying to figure out how to pay for street parking through this app that i had to download to pay for parking, but i needed the parking meter #. It gave me suggestions based on my location, but I wasn't sure which one to select. When I asked him about it, he wasn't sure either, and without hesitation, he just walked outside across the street and got the # for me. I am grateful for him going above and beyond in this situation.

Lingers great they have always been a top tier restaurant and I’ve been here several times over the years. Today i came with a good friend to was visiting town and wanted to catch up over happy hour. They have very specific rules about their happy hour especially in the roof top. You have to sit in the blue table section and you must walk up to order your food and drinks to the bus bar. We had two margaritas my friend got the classic and i got the seasonal one which had a salted foam along with pepper i asked for a tajin rim it was delicious i had two during my visit. We also ordered the hot honey sweet potato fries and the smashed wagyu sliders. The fries were fantastic i asked for a side of ranch to dip them in and i was extremely happy with them. The sliders were good nothing out of this world but they were tasty. Linger use to have one of the best views of the downtown Denver skyline until the new apartment buildings took that away from them. It’s still decent but definitely not as good. Over all i was happy coming here and I’d gladly come again. Just an fyi this place is in the pricier side but worth it here and there mainly for the atmosphere and littleman icecream next door afterwords!

Becca was amazing! We went around 11:30 for lunch and had a great experience. Sat near the open windows, had the sweet potatoes to start. Chicken Caesar and Hamachi as entrees. Drinks were also wonderful. Will be back when in town.

We recently visited Linger for lunch and were very pleased with the experience. We arrived on time for our reservation and were immediately greeted by a gracious host. The venue lots of history- it was a mortuary for over 90 years and is said to have held the remains of Buffalo Bill. . There was a great selection of drinks available, including a variety of wines and beers. Our table ordered the Pad Thai and the lobster roll with honey and chili fries. Both entrees were excellent, though the honey and chili fries were a bit too sweet for my personal taste. Our server, Benji, was extremely professional and offered attentive service throughout our meal. We would highly recommend this restaurant for a delightful dining experience.

We went for brunch. The atmosphere is classy like a whiskey bar. The bathrooms are funky! Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Food was delicious and full of flavor. We got their waffle (half order), churro French toast (half order), their eggs Benedict (scrambled eggs instead of poached), and the non alcoholic mule. Everything was to die for (see what I did there- it’s an old mortuary). We did have reservations and I highly recommend it, especially for dinner and brunch.

The vibe inside is dark, warm and cozy. Our server was great, kind and attentive. The bai buns are really good, my favorite thing I ate. The bulgogi tacos were good, a little dry and salty. Overall a fun spot and they offer a range of options.

SUCH a nice spot and we were able to get in later in the evening as well. We didn’t come in for a huge meal but they had some yummy mocktails and some taro nachos which were nothing like I’ve ever had before. We were seated in a booth and the ambiance was very romantic. I believe there is outside seating as well but don’t quote me on that. The service was also really good. I was even able to forget my credit card there and was able to get it back the next day earlier than opening hours. They have a really organized system as well to handle that. This attention to detail is what I appreciate when I go out to eat. I will definitely be back if I’m ever in the area

This was a really great spot for dinner. We had heard about Linger for a while and grateful to have finally made it. We were really impressed with the atmosphere and all of the friendly staff. We started off with the Bao buns, honestly we tried all of them and each were exceptional in their own way, 10/10. We will be coming back for more of these! We also tried the Filipino Spring Rolls, very good as well, 8/10. The Lemon Grass potstickers were another stand out dish 10/10. The scallion pancake with spiced short rib was tasty, 8.5/10. We also tried a side of the hot honey fries, which we enjoyed 7/10. For entree we had the summer fattoush salad, exceptional 9.5/10 with chicken skewer on the side 8/10. We also had the crispy whole trout, which was delicious 9/10. The rice that came with this dish was one of the let down, tasteless and gummy 1/10, but I will not let a little rice get in the way of an amazing meal. We had a wonderful evening. Parking can be challenging or expensive, which ever way you decide to go. This place was extremely busy but they have lots of room. We look forward to making it back soon!

The Cooper Lounge is a chic and elegant spot located in Denver's Union Station, offering craft cocktails, apéritifs, wine, and upscale snacks. Reservations are not usually required but recommended for those wanting to admire the view from this mezzanine lounge. The posh space overlooks the historic Great Hall and downtown through towering windows, exuding silver-screen glamour with a marble-topped bar surrounded by cream-colored sofas and chairs.
Now THIS place is how you do happy hour oysters! Highly recommend a visit to this gorgeous lounge in the Denver Union Train Station for the most tasty and creative drinks, yummy snacks, and the $2 oysters were just beyond delicious! This pic is just my 1st round as I ordered and ate another dozen before we left. A great spot to have drinks and light snacks before dinner or just a special date night! Will definitely return when we're back in the Denver area!

5 stars all around - if I could give it 10 stars I would! The food was incredible. We had the gnocchi (OMG SO GOOD) and the bread & butter as table apps. Service was impeccable & the atmosphere was beautiful & great for a happy hour with friends or colleagues. They have a few happy hour drink selections (I had the marg). I’ll definitely be back for the gnocchi!

Stunning building with an upscale ambiance with a low key vibe. Our bartenders were top notch - attentive and welcoming but not over the top, even giving our party a complimentary round of champagne to celebrate a birthday (they just noticed when checking IDs). The food was delicious (even with special requests) and the other patrons were friendly.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Timeless Charm & Top-Tier Cocktails The Cooper Lounge is easily one of the best cocktail spots in Denver. Located above Union Station, the view is stunning—you get to look out over the beautifully restored station and catch glimpses of the city skyline. It’s a perfect mix of elegance and energy. The bar service is exceptional. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and really passionate about their craft. Every drink we had was balanced, flavorful, and presented beautifully. Whether you’re into classics or something more creative, the cocktail menu delivers. The atmosphere is classy without being stuffy—plush seating, warm lighting, and a vibe that makes you want to sit and linger. Great spot for a date night, a pre-dinner drink, or just treating yourself. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a top-shelf experience in the heart of Denver.

Tucked away on the second floor of the station, this bar has a cosy vibe despite it being rather open concept. Drinks are good and you get to have good conversations without distraction.

Wife had never been to Union Station before. So as we were walking in and around this seemed like a cool place to grab a drink. Glad we did it was a cool little spot to grab a beverage or hang out before you board your train or grab on coming off. Staff is great and very helpful. Food looked good but that was from us looking around at what others had ordered. Will be interested in going back and trying their food.

Cocktail bar
Retrograde is a chic and intimate speakeasy located in the Uptown neighborhood of Denver, concealed behind an unassuming ice cream shop. Upon entering through a heavy steel freezer door, guests are transported into an outer space-themed lounge with dim lighting and an ambiance reminiscent of a distant planet. The cozy setting offers seating at the bar, banquettes, or plush velvet booths under a ceiling adorned with twinkling lights resembling stars.
Me and my wife had a double date here last night and had an awesome time. The staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks, and very attentive. This is the second speakeasy me and my wife had gone to and we weren't disappointed. The bar is hidden inside an ice cream shop named 'Sweet Action' and you have to go through a locked refrigerator door to get to the place. The ambiance inside was low light space themed when we went last night. I tried the "Bubba Ho-tep" drink initially and it was amazing! My wife had a drink that literally had a small flower in it which was the best drink I've tried in a while. Overall, the drinks, service and ambiance was amazing. I highly recommend this place for a date night or drinks with friends.
Dinesh R — Google review
It's a cozy, different-feeling space. It's very relaxing and lots to look at. I'm not much of a drinker, but the cocktails weren't memorable to me. It's something to try once if you want a really quiet night out, but I can't imagine coming back.
Gray Z — Google review
Retrograde is hands down one of the coolest spots in town—and probably the only legit speakeasy around. Hidden behind what looks like a regular ice cream parlor, the entrance is as fun as the drinks. You’ll find a metal fridge door, flip the switch, and like magic, someone will come open the door and welcome you into a whole different vibe. Once inside, it’s cozy, stylish, and full of character. The cocktails? Awesome. Thoughtfully crafted and super tasty. The staff is friendly and laid-back, and Mo, the bartender, really stood out—knowledgeable, personable, and clearly passionate about what he does. If you’re looking for a unique night out with great drinks and a bit of mystery, Retrograde is the place to be.

5 star experience all the way around! Eli and Joaquin were very accommodating. Such a fun and quirky location and cool way to enter. We visited on a Saturday night during what I feel was prime time (between 11pm-1am), and had a small wait. It was nice to be able to enjoy some ice cream while waiting though! When you enter, you are met with a sci-fi themed, intimate, speakeasy vibe. The drinks were delicious and the service was EXTRAORDINARY. Eli has probably been the best bartender I have ever had - EVER! He was welcoming, knowledgeable, and fun! Joaquin also was such a cool individual who takes pride in providing great service! Prices were about average, but the flavor mixes were out of this world! Loved every minute of our time and plan on coming back with friends to share what a gem this place is (even though it is a 1.5hr drive for me and my husband).

Second place we stopped for cocktails for the evening, we had ice cream while we waited. The girl behind the ice cream bar was very sweet. The speakeasy in the back is fun, but it’s a bit loud because the space is so small and is usually pretty busy. They played old movies on the wall, and the cocktails were awesome!
Zinnia E — Google review
Fun cocktails. Warm inviting vibe and atmosphere! "Out of this world" (literally) Speak Easy in the back of an ice cream shop! 10/10 will come again!
Lynn L — Google review
Who doesn't like a cool speakeasy? Well, some might not but that's besides the point. I have been to a few speakeasies and I have to say that Retrograde is one of my favorites for a couple reasons. First off, the drinks here are delicious with a good range of different kinds of drinks to appeal to all. I have had a few different ones here and they were all great and it was obvious the thought that went into each drink. Secondly, the service I've had here was always top-notch. Each time I've been here, I never felt like I was being rushed when ordering a drink or if I had questions regarding drinks or trying to get a recommendation. I have always had great conversations with the bartenders and other employees there too. Last time I went, I had an hour long conversation about drinks and the best omakase in Denver. Last but not least, I really like how Retrograde actually feels like a speakeasy. I feel like a lot of speakeasies I've been to call themselves a speakeasy but does not feel like one, if you know what I mean. Retrograde has the ambiance down with the quiet, dark, and moody atmosphere. I can't wait to go back!
David C — Google review
Nice little speakeasy behind a cooler door in an ice cream shop. Turn on a light switch and wait. Have your ID ready. Bartender gets a head count and then leaves to prepare seats. Party size limit, so don't show up with a big group. Had to wait about ten minutes but then got in. The signature drink menu is pretty nice. Lots of high-quality ingredients and masterful mixology. It's cozy and dark. Drinks are expensive 14-21 dollar range for the signatures. Other stuff was available, but we didn't ask. Nice place for a one and done before dinner

The Tatarian is a stylish and modern bar and lounge located in Berkeley. The establishment offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, making it accessible to all patrons, regardless of their knowledge of cocktails. The interior is adorned with textured woods, gold-stamped wallpaper, and nature-inspired light fixtures, creating a retro-contemporary ambiance. The cocktail menu is presented as a beautifully illustrated book that showcases the inspiration behind each drink.
This is the best bar! The atmosphere feels amazing — like a little taste of luxury. The drinks were incredible, and the two ladies who helped us were amazing! I didn’t even know what I wanted, and they made me a special drink that was perfect. Such a great experience — I can’t wait to come back!

Checked out this small cocktail bar in Tennyson. The drinks were decent, but nothing super memorable. It's a fine place to grab a drink, and I'd probably stop by again if I'm already in the area.

This is a really cool high end cocktail bar; however it would be so much better if they had good service. We felt they sacrificed service over making really cool craft drinks . No harm in being friendly and thinking of your patrons over your product or at least testing them equal.

The Tatarian is hands down the best bar in town! The people who work here are absolute legends — especially Andy and Autumn, who are the best of the best. What the actual living hell?!!!! You can breathe a sigh of relief Englewood Grand, you're no longer the worst cocktail bar in the city ( but you're still awful). Negative infinity stars for the worst excuse for a cocktail in world history! The Ying Ke Pine isn't even a cocktail and it would be much more aptly named "expired condiments in a cat bowl (to kill your cat)." Extremely sweet, extremely salty, sour, increasingly coagulating miso in the center, this is the new pinnacle of disgusting crap! This is the worst idea ever. The sign on the front of the place should be changed to "I'm with stupid." I shouldn't have even paid and I'm actually pissed that I did. But instead, to prove how much this place sucks I ordered another "cocktail", the Green Spire. This is for fennel lovers only and it doesn't work at all because there's no balance and meld of flavor. Looking at the ridiculous, over the top ingredients of all the other cocktails and it's obvious that there's absolutely zero talent here. The below pic doesn't do it justice, I don't understand how the nauseating coagulation doesn't show in this picture.

Some of the best cocktails I've ever had. The menu was extremely creative with each cocktail being named for a tree including a picture and fun facts about the trees too. The atmosphere was great and the staff were all extremely friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be back to try more fun cocktails.

B&GC, located beneath the upscale Halcyon Hotel in Cherry Creek, Denver, is a reservations-only speakeasy that offers an exclusive and sophisticated experience. To gain entry, guests must first request a reservation via text and then navigate through a series of directions to find the hidden entrance marked by a vintage brass doorbell. Once inside, visitors can enjoy the stylish ambiance of the lounge area with its chic semi-circular bar and deco lighting or relax in cognac-leather bucket chairs.
My wife found this hidden speakeasy style bar. It can be difficult to get a reservation but I promise it'll be worth it. It's a small cozy place with limited seating (hence the reservation requirement I assume). It's a true speakeasy style cozy bar where you go through some office basement hallways to get to the venue. We had several drinks and snacks ( oysters and pretzels) both dishes were delicious. The staff was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about the drinks they offered. All the drinks we ordered came promptly and we're fantastic. It's a great place to bring a date, out of town guests etc. It's probably not suitable for large groups but perfect for small intimate get-togethers. I highly recommend this place and perfect start in my effort to visit all speakeasies in Denver.

Awesome speakeasy with delicious cocktails! Super cool entrance with a door bell and being led underground to the bar. It's a small intimate area with a cool midcentury modern style. Bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable. Cocktails were delicious and inventive. Would highly recommend.

A speakeasy is always a fun experience and a spooky themed one seemed even better!!! Walking down an alley until you see a door with a door bell was so fun. The hostess was so kind to combine our reservations for us!!! We were greeted and escorted downstairs. Very easy walk but it smelled SO BAD. Maybe that's just a part of the "charm" but it was very unpleasant. When we entered, it was a very classy, intimate speakeasy like you'd expect. EXCEPT not a single Halloween decoration???? What do you mean you're charging a $15 deposit per person for a "Boys & Ghouls Club" and then you've already taken the decorations down on 10/8???? The menu had 4 fun drinks, none of which we ordered. There was supposed to be a tarot card reader there as well (Thursdays only), but nope!! Nothing. I would have definitely gone somewhere else for a Halloween popup. Spending $28 on an espresso martini was just insult to injury. Skip!

This is a great little speakeasy. The drinks were amazing , the service was awesome, and the it has a great chill atmosphere. Went on a weeknight and there was a steady flow of people but not ever too busy. The bartenders were helpful with drink selections and whipped up beautiful drinks.

OK after seeing so many different videos on different platforms, I decided to go. You do have to make reservations in advance. You will have a time slot. But they have food and nobody talks about the food. It was delicious. They also changed up their menu. I did the dealers choice and I videoed him telling what I was in it. It was fantastic. It’s a must go to you if you are in the Cherry Creek area for a different vibe than normal. The staff was all very friendly loved it. It’s definitely a little small area, but they packed it with plenty of choices. The burger was fantastic. The Mushrooms were also a very good choice. I would do both of them again.

The Retro Room Salon and Lounge is a quirky establishment that combines a cocktail joint, snack bar, beauty salon, and massage parlor in a vintage-themed setting. It's known for its amazing burgers and pickle shots, making it an ideal spot to kick off a night out downtown. The unique concept includes happy hour specials featuring infused liquors like honey habanero or peppercini vodka.
This place is awesome at night and is known best for its pickle shots of course!! Besides being an awesome bar they also have pretty great food during the day. Amazing prices, great service from Tiffany (ask for her) and drinks are well they do the job right. Ordered the green chili fries and wasn’t disappointed. Less than $8 . 10/10 recommend.

What an awesome place! $7 beer and a burger is sure hard to beat anywhere let alone Denver CO - I wish I could recall our servers name because she was fantastic, went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed which I frankly find rare in a big city bar. Let’s not forget the pickle shots - wow!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Came here with friends and honestly wish we hadn’t. The bartender had major attitude for absolutely no reason. When my friend tried to simply order a club soda, the bartender was shockingly rude and disrespectful for absolutely no reason. We definitely won’t be coming back here, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Save yourself the bad vibes.

Try their spicy pickle shot Don't fall for the dollar pickle 🥒- it's smushy, so not the consistency you expect from a pickle, but if you're OK with it, that pickle is alcoholic 😄 The vibe is good.

I used to love this place, such a cool stop in spot after a Rockies game or night out downtown. Now, the pickle shots are lackluster and overpriced. This place has really gone down hill. Honestly, definitely disappointed, feels like the owner doesn't give a shit!

We came for a drink after a baseball game and the bartender was the rudest person I’ve met in a long time. I asked a question about the infused vodkas and he slapped a menu down on the counter, rolled his eyes and walked away. We will not be coming back, I guess he forgot he was in the service industry!

Strange vibe from bartenders. First bartender took our order, served it, then disappeared. 2nd bartender asked where we are from. We answered, he said I'm sorry then ignored us for the rest of the evening. Didn't even offer to sell us another beverage. Who doesn't want money like that?

Welton Room, located inside the Lydian Apartments in Five Points, offers a trendy and contemporary space where guests can enjoy imaginatively crafted cocktails and coffee. The mixologist, Chokedee Champ Buabucha, adds whimsical elements to each creation such as cotton candy clouds and liquid nitrogen effects. The bar is adorned with fresh bouquets and jars of dried fruits and herbs, providing a picturesque backdrop for photos. Additionally, the Monkey Lounge within Welton Room also offers delicious drinks.
Had a quick stop in at the Walton Room Bar and Kitchen. Got a little discombobulated with where to find the entrance but once we got in, the staff was friendly and the vibes were great. Decent appetizers but the drinks were delicious. They definitely get points for presentation. Would love to come back one day for their brunch menu and cocktails. Now for my standard comments. I'm in Denver visiting my bestie and she made reservations at the Monkey Lounge at the Welton for espresso martinis. This place was beautiful! The staff were amazing! The atmosphere was elegant and fun! We spent 2 hours and I would absolutely come back every time I'm in town. The drinks were a visual treat and all were delicious! We had food that paired well with the espresso drinks and we couldn't stop eating. This was a fantastic spot to sit for a few hours. Highly recommend!

15/10 this place was amazing. The drinks were top tier, no doubt. But it was the people that were the most amazing. The owners are the most caring passionate gentlemen, they care so much about what they’re serving their guests. Then there is the host. He just made the evening so special.

Review for the monkey room / espresso martini bar — This place is so fun! Small room with a large bar top and some couch seating for bigger groups. Visited for the espresso martini options and all the flavors were very interesting. We had the hazelnut (strong but good), red velvet (rich, unexpected flavor), pumpkin spice (amazing presentation), seasonal limoncello (my second favorite espresso martini ever), and the bartenders gave us a small classic one for free to try along with our flavors. They had their Halloween decor set up which was so fun but truly the energy of the bartenders made the night for us. They were funny and interactive and I wish I got their names but one kept offering us an edible glitter spray on our drinks and it was such a blast. Highly recommend!

While I’ve eaten at The Welton Room and thoroughly enjoyed it, this review is for the adjacent Monkey Bar. Holy cow! I cannot say enough good! This was the best way to cap off the night with great friends. The music was good and not overpowering our conversation. The drinks were perfectly balanced and smooth. The bartenders are top notch! My friends actually went back again after I traveled back to Atlanta. Definitely will be recommending to all my friends, especially my professional ones!

I loved the service our servers were the sweetest and the kindest, but these espresso martinis are my least favorite ever. I got the nightmare before xmas flight and do NOT recommend, it lacked so much flavor and felt like I needed to shoot it like a shot. Go to Devil’s Drink instead.

Restaurant
Poka Lola Social Club is a stylish cocktail lounge located in the lobby of The Maven hotel at Dairy Block. Inspired by old-fashioned soda fountains, this Art Deco-inspired bar offers a unique experience with its delicious cocktails and homemade syrups, bitters, and sodas that pay homage to America's turn-of-the-century soda fountain culture. The eclectic interior complements the creative seasonal drink menu, featuring twists on classics and inventive signatures.
This cute bar is located in the alleyway of Denver milk market. We ordered fries for $5 and the fried chicken for $10. We also ordered the mezcal drink they offered. Everything had been delicious and we appreciated the little outdoor patio area which had also been dog friendly. It was a nice place to drop by for a quick drink and snack on a Saturday night.

We love the Poka Lola! Had our wedding room block at the Maven so we hosted our wedding welcome party the night before at the Poka Lola. Fantastic staff and food selection was great. The bar atmosphere is great, bartenders were super attentive, and the room layout is perfect for casual indoor-outdoor flow for guests. This is one of our favorite spots in Downtown Denver!
Jennifer C — Google review
The Poka Lola was one of four venues that we booked for our customer appreciation events while we were attending a citywide conference in Denver. I Wish I could give them a higher rating. The ambience of the venue was exactly what we were hoping for, it was a cool hip and casual vibe. Unfortunately, we were underwhelmed with the experience based on the prices we spent. Attached is a photo of a $500 veggie tray to feed 50 people and a $675 charcuterie board to feed 75 people. We had a Food & Beverage minimum, but were still charged a room rental fee, 2 Bartender fees, 25% outlet fees and gratuities This was the only venue that we had all these “add on’s”. And we also had buyouts at the other venues. If you’re looking for event space in Denver, this would not be at the top of my recommendation list. I do want to give a positive shout out to our Bartender Lexi. She did a great job.
Debi B — Google review
Such a missed opportunity. Bartenders are just going through the motions, doing just enough to pay the rent and get back to leveling their WoW character. I have never seen a place with so much squandered potential. BTW, this isn’t Europe, get someone to come to the tables and fill orders.

The Poka Lola Social Club is such a fun and vibrant place. It's a little pricey but the ambiance makes up for that. They have a good selection of wines and a decent happy hour. Late night on Saturday's they have a DJ! WE love coming here and just relaxing. It's a great place to just enjoy a night out
Honey A — Google review
This place is inside the Maven Hotel which is cool because not only do you get the sweet atmosphere of the Poka Lola but all the amazing art of the Maven. The service is always pretty decent and the drinks are a little pricy but good. The prices are expected for that area I suppose. I am not sure if they have a happy hour but that might be more my speed. I guess I'm saying I'd go here on a date or with my classy friends but may not necessarily turn it into a regular hang spot.
Amber B — Google review
This is a great bar! The bartenders are friendly and very knowledgable. The drinks are kind of pricey, but are very potent and deliver excellent value. I'll definitely be going back here! Pictured are the Crate & Barrel, and the Montego Bay Daiquiri.

Located in a hotel, the entrance already tells a story. With a giant hand beckoning you you walk across some sofas and up two steps to a bar that feels like it is in a movie. I almost expected Gatsby to be at one end of the bar. I took a seat and their drinks are precise. Well made and by those who know what to give you once there is some clue as to your tastes. Lovely find, will return.

Traditional American restaurant
Bar
My Brother's Bar is a historic and laid-back establishment in Denver, with a rich history dating back to the 1870s. It has been frequented by famous figures like Neal Cassady and has maintained its charm through the years. The bar is now owned by a longtime employee and her family who are dedicated to preserving its legacy. Despite not having any TVs, the bar plays classical music and serves up delicious burgers wrapped in parchment paper with a variety of condiments.
I've only visited My Brother's Bar one time during a work trip to Denver, but it was fantastic! The service was great, the burger was the best burger I've had in a LONG time and the beer selection was on point. I walked in and sat right at the bar and there was a group of regulars sitting there chatting it up and they invited me into the conversation and it just felt really welcoming. I'd love to come back and eat here again when I'm back in Denver. Not at all surprised it's still around after all these years!

The atmosphere is nice inside and outside. On the inside, there is a bar and multiple tables. A large window to the outside. It feels comfortable. On the outside, it's shaded and there are a few tables. Bathroom is clean. The food is delicious, the burgers specifically. Cooked a perfect medium, or medium rare. The greens are fresh. The basic burger is under $10, which is impressive and rare. Especially for the taste. The service is where this restaurant lacks. We ordered different burgers. I wanted mine without bacon, and my friend wanted his with. We got the reverse. Our waiter was sassy a bit, and I thought maybe that's just his style. It turned out worse, when he called the cook who seemed to only speak Spanish, he kept saying bacon si. We all felt uncomfortable with that behavior, a lack of attempt to communicate or respect. That's how he treats the cooks in front of us, no idea how when we're not there. I'd come back for the food, if I felt the service has changed.

Love this place! The burgers are delicious and worth the drive. My favorite is the jalapeño cream cheese. You must try. Fries and onions rings are just as good. Have to get the sport tea it's delicious . The only thing that has changed is the service. It's hit and miss. Servers can be amazing and some really rude. If you're heading to or coming from a game or nea4 downtown, it's worth stopping in. It's kid friendly and has a good kids menu. Overall, it's a great place to eat. 4 stars because of the service.

No frills, just good food (cheeseburgers). Advertised as Denver’s oldest bar. Very nice establishment with deliciously tasty cheeseburgers! Definitely recommend this establishment to anyone who likes tasty burgers. 🍔 That’s being a winner baby!!!👏👏👏

This was most excellent little place to stumble upon! It was absolutely darling. The vibe was on point. The food was outstanding! My friend and I just enjoyed some appetizers and drinks .The little potato skins were delightful the dressing that was served with them was my absolute favorite part of the whole thing be honest. However, we also ordered the honey feta dip with the crostinis. Also absolutely delightful. We had the elote corn dip which was okay. Not bad in any way, just the other two stood out so much harder that I had eaten too much by the time I got to the elote dip..... I also got a Caesar salad to go. The dressing was the best Caesar dressing I've ever come across. I love that it had potato chips on it. It was the perfect amount of crunch.. the entire theme was just out of this world. I loved the disco balls and all the foliage outside. It even had like fake grass that you were hanging out on. It was the most on point experience that I could have tried to offer my friend who was visiting me from a small town. I felt like I really showed her around by taking her to this lovely location!!!

I don’t usually write long reviews, but our experience at My Brother’s Bar in Denver absolutely deserves one — especially after how incredibly they treated us during a really special occasion. We came in to celebrate my best friend’s 35th birthday, and this year was particularly meaningful because he’s paralyzed and doesn’t always feel comfortable going out to new places. But from the moment we walked in, everything just felt right. First and foremost, a massive shoutout to our server Miguel — hands down one of the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Miguel was kind, attentive, and thoughtful in ways that went beyond just being a good server. He made sure my friend was comfortable, helped us find seating that worked for his wheelchair without making a big deal of it, and constantly checked in with a great attitude and genuine care. You can’t teach that kind of hospitality — it’s just who Miguel is, and it made all the difference. The vibe at My Brother’s Bar is one-of-a-kind. It’s the kind of place with real character — nothing fake or trendy, just good energy, welcoming people, and a laid-back environment that makes you feel like a regular even if it’s your first time. The history on the walls, the deep wood decor, and the old-school feel make it feel like a piece of Denver you never want to let go of. We sat inside and then hung out on the patio for a while, and both had their own charm. Now let’s talk food: unreal. I ordered the JCB (Jalapeño Cream Cheese Burger) and it was out of this world — juicy, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and just the right amount of heat. The condiment tray they bring to every table is such a fun touch — it lets you totally customize your burger and makes the meal feel even more personal. The onion rings were crispy perfection, and the beer was cold and refreshing — everything we hoped for. Miguel had some killer suggestions that ended up being our favorites of the night. But what really stuck with me — and my friend — was how comfortable the experience was. It’s not always easy finding a place that’s both wheelchair-accessible and genuinely welcoming, but My Brother’s Bar nailed it. No awkwardness, no stares, just great service and great vibes. For my friend to say it was one of the best birthdays he’s had in a long time? That meant everything. So if you’re in Denver — whether you’re a local or just passing through — do yourself a favor and stop in at My Brother’s Bar. Ask for Miguel if you can. Come hungry, bring friends, and expect to leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit. We’ll definitely be back. 💯

Middleman is a popular hangout spot with an industrial atmosphere that offers craft cocktails and shared plates. The bar features exposed ceilings, a wraparound front patio, and bartenders serving Miller High Life while TVs play Bob Ross' The Joy of Painting. Since 2018, it has been a favorite among hipsters. In late 2019, Misfit Snackbar was introduced inside the bar's kitchen, offering imaginative upscale versions of pub grub.
Middleman is an amazing cocktail bar. We also LOVE the food at Misfit Snack Bar (which is part of Middleman). The burger is always on the menu (and is amazing) and they rotate their menu frequently. The drinks are super unique and inventive. The staff is lovely and they make everyone feel like regulars. They also host really fun events. We recently went near Halloween and they hosted a pumpkin carving contest with fun prizes and swags. Highly recommend!

I couldn’t love this place more. Visited twice, with a year between those visits, and the quality, service and taste is consistently amazing. It’s hard to not order the whole snack menu - and even harder to decide which cocktail to get. Very chill but def good service - it’s a cocktail bar, we had no need to be in a hurry and love that about the vibe here. It was negative temperatures outside and they had additional option for potato soup which was outstanding. Can’t wait to see the next menu iteration!

I am still giving 5 stars because it’s one of my favorite places to go! But the service here is SOOO hit or miss. If I sit at the bar it’s perfect, whenever I sit at a table, horrid. The food is next level we all know this. The drinks are great! Thunder kiss though strong is such a great tiki cocktail. The new menus are very funny. I will be back again and again for misfit kitchen!

Solid cocktail bar with plenty of beer taps + can options in addition. The food is also excellent if you get there early enough. Drink menu changes a little every few weeks, taking advantage of whatever cool or exotic thing they have in stock at the time (lately they’ve been on a pineapple amaro kick). Busy on weekends but weeknights tend to be low-key. Bar staff are always characters and great to chat with.

I have only been here once, to be fair. It’s a great spot with awesome potential but terrible drinks. Aside from personal taste, we were their first customers of the day (opened at 4, there at 4) and the bar was just gross. Old food from the night before both dried on the bar and just left there. Bartender was rightfully annoyed when I returned the first drink so I powered through the second one, chasing with my boyfriends beer. Overall, I give a two but with a few changes I’d increase my stars. Again, great potential that’s not quite reached as of yet.

The cocktails are top shelf and on point. The food coming from Misfit Snack bar is out of this world. We tried the kimchi croquettes and I will dream about those tasty crunchy creamy delightful flavorful bites for years to come. We also tried the potatoes and the dip of the day was a buffalo cheese. So much yum. Then my main course was the vegan cheesesteak. No exaggeration the very best tofu I have ever eaten in my life. The chef said it’s a week long process to pack all that flavor in and I believe it. I cannot speak highly enough of this place. We used to love Rebel so I’m grateful to see this chef with a new home! Will return without question.

Run For The Roses is a swanky cocktail lounge with a private room for large groups, located in the alley mid-Dairy Block on the lower level of the retail and hotel hotspot, Meander. The cocktails, priced at $13 each, are listed on black-and-white, floral-designed playing cards and all of them are classics with innovative twists.
I had an amazing experience at Run for the Roses, a fantastic speakeasy-style bar in Denver. The place exudes a secretive, old-school charm with its low-key and chill vibe—which is just the kind of atmosphere I love. Getting there is part of the allure: you follow a trail of roses to an elevator that takes you underground. Around the corner, you’ll find a gated check-in counter (I’ve already said too much!). Once inside, you’re greeted by a stunning room full of character and a nicely designed bar. The service was great. Their ordering system is fun and unique—you can stick to the menu or get creative with their card-based menu, where drinks are themed around different cards. Of course, I tried their Old Fashioned, and it was wonderful —definitely worth a second round (which I did have). I also had another cocktail (can’t quite recall the name), but it was equally delightful. On the food side, I sampled their deviled eggs, which were delicious and filling. They’re great to share with a friend unless you’re really into deviled eggs! Overall, the drinks were amazing, and the food made for a perfect complement. If I find myself in Denver again, I will absolutely return to this gem of a speakeasy. I highly recommend checking out Run for the Roses if you’re in the area—you won’t be disappointed!

Strong cocktails and fun vibes. I didn't adore the ask for extra personal info at the door and the prices for some drinks were a tad over the top, but the energy was high and the bartender had great suggestions.

Loved the atmosphere of this place and the wait wasn’t too long to get in (about 15 minutes). Service was slow though, it took a while for them to take our drink orders. For the price of our drinks (around $22 each) the cocktails were just okay, not that amazing. We also almost got charged an extra $22 for a drink we did not even order. Overall, I think it’s a fun place to visit for the vibes but I probably would not come back a second time. (They also have a mandatory 22% service charge, which is fine, just letting people know if they are planning on visiting)

Fantastic cocktail bar/speakeasy with a cool playing card theme. Lots of amazing choices including cocktails using rare vintage spirits. Had their RFTR Old Fashioned made with their Maker’s Mark pick and it didn’t disappoint. Also did the Alaska vintage cocktail on recommendation from the bartender and it was phenomenal. And I’m not even a Gin guy. Love to come back and explore more. Highly recommend!

This is the spot to see and be seen! Hidden gem in Denver! Cocktails were amazing and the backdrop is a vibe!

Pretty cool premise. Drinks are okay, atmosphere is pretty cool. Unfortunately, our waiter ran over to my friend, accused her of bringing outside food into the bar, when she was really just taking her daily medicine out of her purse. Waiter was embarrassed at first, he apologized which was nice but THEN he refused to wait on us. We were able to get up three times to go to the bathroom while waiting for a second round of drinks. Then when we ASKED for food (since he made such a stink about us theoretically bringing our own in) he informed us he “just ran out of shrimp a minute ago.” If he had come over to check on us, maybe we could have ordered it? Idk, I am visiting from out of town and I would not recommend. Maybe they are better on another night but this Saturday was not their night.

Noble Riot, located in the RiNo neighborhood of Denver, is a popular wine bar that prides itself on offering honest and unadulterated wines. The owners, Scott Mattson and Troy Bowen, prioritize pouring wines that are not overly manufactured or contain additives like yeast or sulfites. The staff at Noble Riot are passionate about helping patrons select a glass or bottle of wine that will satisfy their taste buds.
Awesome wine bar in RiNo that is consistently serving new options. Their wine menu is created around a region or theme for the 8 weeks they’re available, so you can find new favorites often. The staff is well versed in what they’re serving, and they even host learning sessions/classes. The food is above average, including their juicy fried chicken. There is indoor and patio seating, and options are best for 2-6 guests. Definitely be sure to stop in, or take bottles to go!

A quaint and cozy space with friendly staff and delicious food. It reminds me of my travels worldwide stumbling upon a local’s spot. The wine menu is excellent, with some upscale bottles, and it perfectly pairs with their charcuterie boards and madelines. I highly suggest visiting with room in your stomach for their fried chicken. It’s fantastic.

So lucky to have this gem in Denver. The amount of knowledge and finesse that go into operating a unique wine bar like this isn’t quantifiable. It is magic and clearly a labor of love - an experience that I don’t often find in other wine bars. The staff encourages curiosity and considers the whole story of every wine served. Wine is connection to culture and the team at Noble Riot knows the story! They are clearly committed to authentic wines and maintaining exceptional service. Drinking wine here is a gift.

Excellent and eclectic wine bar in Rino arts district. We did the champagne mouth party (fried chicken) as well as a board with tinned fish and a few other apps. The champagne was delicious and surprisingly paired well with the fried chicken! They also had gluten free options, including the fried chicken which is GF by default. The burrata was incredible, definitely don’t miss out. We tried some orange wine too and loved it. It was certainly a riot of a visit! Thanks to all of the friendly staff who made it such a memorable birthday!

This place was a real treat! It’s in Downtown Denver in the RINO art distract. We have a new love for natural wine and heard they have some of the best fried chicken in the country so of course we had to check it out! It was a Sunday when we went and they had a fun game where you pick a color and a style of wine and they bring you a glass of something random in that style for $8. We started with an anti-pasta/ hummus board and a basket of Riot Fries. Then we tried a bottle of Skin contact White wine from Bikicki. It was so delicious! Next, we got two buckets of chicken, potato salad, another order of Riot fries which we enjoyed with a glass of Natural orange wine. Top notch experience!

Noble Riot a trendy winebar making a lot of noise in the Denver foodie scene.  Ironically, they don't even have a kitchen. Prepare yourselves by having great customer service from start to finish.  Everyone we encountered seemed truly genuine in creating a pleasant experience. Our server, Michael S., seemed very passionate about our questions surrounding "orange wine".  He explained that it is a term for skin-contacted white wine,  where the grape skins are not removed in the fermenting process.  He recommended a very reasonably priced bottle that paired exceptionally well with our chicken sandwich meals. Chicken sandwiches and orange wine!?! Welcome to RiNo. 😘 Food on the menu actually comes from the kitchen of the jazz club, Nocturne, located next door.  Their buckets of fried chicken are getting rave reviews, but mostly consist of dark meat.  Michael thought that we would actually really enjoy the unique chicken sandwiches, and he was right!  The light breading on the crispy chicken breast was the perfect consistency.  It paired well with the homemade bread-and-butter pickles, and house aoli. The purple fingerling fries that accompanied the sandwich completed the flavor pallet nicely. The atmosphere could be called graffiti-chic.  The main entrance is off of the street art filled alley, just west of Larimer Street.  The décor pays respect to its industrial warehouse origin and is unapologetic in creating a comfortable atmosphere to enjoy and experience new wines.  With bottles priced as low as $30, don't let the hype hinder you from trying out this debonair find!

Went here with my fiancé for our 6 year anniversary and it was everything we expected plus more. We have lived in the area for a while and always passed by and made it a point to always say “let’s go there soon”, well we finally did and it was awesome. Jared was our server and he did a phenomenal job. He was not only knowledgeable but also was super personable. Bonus points for our shared interests with him that got us chatting more. We did the table seating and went ahead and added the wine/drink pairing once we got there and are so glad we did. Definitely will be back and will be recommending this place to everyone for a special occasion or date night!

They have the best french dips and it’s not even close. They also have great cocktails, but the best part is that the kitchen is open until 1AM. It’s the only place in Denver to get a decent bite late at night tbh. Highly recommend the Alameda Street french dip, the rosemary and salt flavors really shine through and they toast the bread. SOOOO GOOD!

Calling all vegetarians! The veg version of french dip is phenomenal🙌🙌 after 15+ years of vegetarian lifestyle this place floored me with my first french dip. They have "normal" french dips for meat eaters that the whole crew loved. Great NA options. Will 100% go back. Love the vibe but the food is fire!

Craft cocktail bar, dark, good drinks, and great food. Best chicken tenders (some Japanese type of cooking) we've ever had. Sit at the bar, the table service is spotty. Open late, so it's a great option after a Rockies game.

The wife wanted to try this place, cause it was a "french bulldog themed bar." Not sure about that, but they did have a giant painting of a french dressed as a court knight. I would have taken it, but its 8'x6' size wouldnt fit under my shirt.... But while we were there we split the frenchie dip sandwich and buffalo wings. The au jus for that samwich was so friggin good, I literally drank the rest of mine and hers. And I feel it was healthy and restorative ;) Crazy good, you should try. The wings were good, a little hotter than I like, but I'm not a buffalo guy. Service was awesome, I felt bad that the place was empty, but we've seen it standing room only -- so must have been an off-night.

Phenomenal spot. The Saigon French dip was even more delicious than I was expecting, and my cocktail was incredibly flavorful and balanced. Absolutely recommend checking this out!

The Family Jones Spirit House is a stylish bar located in LoHi that distills its own spirits on-site for use in cocktails paired with small plates. The establishment offers an elegant setting with low-slung, velvet-upholstered couches, vaulted ceilings, and cascading greenery.
Love the new drink and food menu! It was difficult to choose a drink because the options are amazing, and even better was the all day happy hour pricing on the patio. The DJ was a nice touch too. I highly recommend.

4.5/5 - Super solid spot! I love the interior and decor. The drinks were great, but a bit expensive if they are outside of the classics or happy hour menu. Food is great and worth the price. I would definitely come back and try the food and maybe stick to more classic cocktails. Happy hour goes to 6:30 even on Saturdays so its a fantastic deal

This place has the best cocktails!! Our server Kelsey was so kind and took great care of us, she recommended the London Falling. It was incredible, it was a little foamy and tasted like an orange creamsicle. It was like candy. I would definitely recommend it. I did not try any other drinks because this one was so good. I love the one big ice cube in the drink, very fancy haha. The interior of the place is super cool, modern, and hip. Great place for happy hour in the highlands area.

Had the best time this past Friday for a happy hour with two friends and we had so much fun trying all the different cocktails and bites here! Derek was the best! So friendly, knowledgeable and guiding us on the best drinks to try based on our preferences! What an awesome spot!

Really bad service and equally bad drinks. My friend and I started at the bar and asked to move to a table, which we were granted. One of the wait staff quickly approached us to tell us that we should not have been seated at a table and asked us to leave within an hour. We agreed to, after which he approached us three more times (before the end of the hour) to insist that we leave prematurely and/or to give us a timing count down. Really bizarre experience and the drinks were pretty vile on top of it all. Will not be back.

We went a few months ago for a tasting/tour. It was fantastic! The tasting was delicious and informative and it was so cool to get to go upstairs and check it out. We stayed after for a couple of cocktails and snacks. We thoroughly enjoyed everything and will be back soon!

If you're looking for a lively spot to immerse yourself in the country music scene, The Grizzly Rose is your go-to destination in Denver. This vibrant venue has been a staple since 1989, exuding a Nashville vibe that draws both locals and visitors alike.
We had such a great time at the Grizzly Rose! We didn’t get any drinks, but we had some fries and took the dance lessons, highly recommend! The instructor made it super fun and easy to follow, even for beginners. The vibe was welcoming and energetic. Can’t wait to come back!

Didn’t expect this place to be as welcoming and inclusive as it was. Had a lot of fun! There’s many things to do! Play pool, play games, ride the mechanical bull, go line dancing, learn how to lasso. It was a great time and I will be going back next time I’m in the Denver area. I will say though that the drinks tasted watered down, which was my only qualm but honestly I was having such a good time that I didn’t care.

This was full circle, my husband brought me here in 1996 for our first date in CO as we lived in NM at the time. Bringing our 3 girls here on Family night was Special. Seeing them line dancing, riding the mechanical bull and having fun. My mom heart is full 💓

First time attending the Rose at the two birds fit event and I had an awesome time. It is such a great atmosphere. The only downpart was they weren't playing Familiar songs that I knew so I could dance. However, that did not stop me from hitting the dance floor it's such a great environment. I can't wait to go back. The food was awesome. I loved the wings and the French fries,Pizza wasn't all that but I still ate it.

Forest Room 5 is a hip and artsy night spot with a rustic interior and an outdoor area featuring fire pits and a flowing creek. The woodland-themed restaurant offers menu items such as smoked bison tacos, elk sliders, and plank-cooked lake trout. The indoor dining room has a rustic, artsy vibe while the patio is adorned with fire pits, logs, and LED tabletops.
Such a unique and awesome place, literally where else can you have these views? Have you seen the bear room? Also may be pricey, but they have a rotating beer option that's pretty great if you don't wanna break the bank and just enjoy the scenery. Literally our new fave midweek beer place.

I absolutely love Forest Room 5! Super unique spot right in Denver. Love the outdoor seating area but the indoor area is nice too. Pictures here are of the chicken sandwich, but my favorite thing on the menu might actually be the quinoa salad - so fresh and good! They also have some of the best cocktails in the area, highly recommend all of them!

If you’re looking for a cozy and forest themed place for some drinks/food/good vibes with indoor and outdoor seating then come to Forest Room 5! Food/drinks: The Huckleberry cocktail I drank was up to par. It wasn’t too sweet and had just the right amount of flavor in it. It’s a refreshing choice if you want something light. I also enjoyed the salmon tacos, they were delicious! Atmosphere: This place has a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating with QR codes where you can look at the menu. The outside area is very unique with lots of plants/trees giving it an earthy vibe. Price: The prices here are fairly normal and they do have happy hour deals as well. The cocktail prices were better than what I’m normally used to in other states. Parking: There is street parking available in the area or if you’re close enough, ride a scooter there.

Cocktail bar
Forget Me Not is located in a building that used to be a flower shop, and it pays homage to its past with elegant touches both inside and out. The patio is protected by a picket fence and features a mural of the bar's namesake flower, while the accordion windows are covered by black-and-white-striped awnings.
I’ll have to say I didn’t know much about this bar located in downtown Cherry Creek. We really enjoyed our time there. Brian the bartender was absolutely amazing. He appeared to know everybody. The crowd started off being a diverse group of ages but then by 11 PM, many many many 20-year-olds Invaded lol. Overall great bar. I highly recommend this place. Ask Brian for the pineapple martini you will not be disappointed.
Kevin S — Google review
I recently visited Forget Me Not after hearing so many positive things about it. The ambiance is intriguing right from the entrance, where a fire pit sets a cozy, inviting tone. However, the space itself is quite small, which creates a somewhat dense atmosphere that might not be for everyone. During my visit, I tried three drinks: a glass of wine, a margarita, and another cocktail that, unfortunately, I can’t quite recall. My total came to about $60 before tips $$ which I found rather steep, especially considering the high-end neighborhood it’s located in. While I understand that premium prices often accompany upscale venues, it felt a bit excessive for what I received. I had a mixed experience during my visit. Unfortunately, I wasn't greeted upon arrival, which set a somewhat unwelcoming tone. The bartenders seemed more interested in chatting among themselves about unrelated business matters than in serving customers. I ended up waiting a long time just to get a drink, which was quite unwelcoming. Additionally, I noticed an excessive number of security personnel, which felt a bit overwhelming considering the place inside is so small. It made the atmosphere feel less inviting, as it seemed like there was more focus on enforcing rules than on ensuring guests had a good time. While it offered a nice outing, I believe I can find similar experiences elsewhere, perhaps in places that feel more relaxed and align better with my vibe. If you're looking for a chic spot to sip some fancy drinks and enjoy a cozy atmosphere, it’s worth checking out. Just be prepared for the pricier side of the menu!
Quan Q — Google review
I’ve been to this bar a few times, and honestly, it has never lived up to the hype. My last visit sealed the deal — I will not be returning. I ordered tequila shots, paid over $200 upfront, and was given water instead. When I confronted the bartender, they refused to show me the bottle, claiming they were out. After pressing for answers, the manager showed up, offered no solution, and instead had me escorted out. Their excuse? That I “looked” like I should’ve been cut off. I explained that my eyes are red from a medical condition, not intoxication, and they laughed in my face. That level of disrespect is unacceptable. To make matters worse, the overall environment isn’t welcoming. If you’re a woman or under 30, I’d strongly suggest avoiding this place—it’s packed with older men who give off uncomfortable vibes. Between the poor service, unprofessional staff, and questionable crowd, I won’t be returning.
Hunter O — Google review
I tried to visit this bar recently and was told there would be a 30-minute wait because it was "fully occupied." What didn’t make sense was that as my friend and I stood there, at least 20 people were leaving, and we were the only ones waiting to get in. On top of that, I’ve been here before when it was much more packed, so it clearly looked like the place could’ve fit more people. The whole situation just felt off and uncomfortable especially since no real explanation was given even after we asked. I’m not sure what was really going on, but the way we were turned away didn’t sit right. If this is how they treat guests, I won’t be coming back and I hope management takes a serious look at how their staff handles the door and their guests.

Cute cocktail bar in cherry Creek. Nice outside seating with fire places and heating lamps for the colder months. The service was perfect, very friendly and not over attentive. Cocktails were great! We got an old fashioned and an espresso martini. It was pretty loud in there which was the only downside.

This is my wife and I’s favorite cocktail bar for ambiance and great drinks in Denver. Upscale vibes with very welcoming staff that mix up amazing drinks. The food available is great as well. A lot of positive energy in the space creates a unique environment not found elsewhere in the city. A special shoutout to Dylan, Micah, Cesar, Devante, Chiara, Molly, Kelly, Devon, and the rest of the crew here that makes us feel so welcome and friends at this point. Thank you all!
Joshua D — Google review
We walked into Forget Me Not without a reservation around 730 PM. It was pretty packed, so we stood by the bar to grab our first round of drinks. The atmosphere was lively, loud but energetic. The space inside is nicely set up. A few seats cleared pretty quickly, allowing us to sit at the bar. The service was incredibly fast, even though they we very busy - kudos to the bartenders! The cocktails were delicious (but small-ish and pricey). One thing to note: the gratuity/tip is added automatically at 20%, which is fine as long as one is aware. The bartender circled it for us to avoid confusion. We had a pretty good time and enjoyed the ambiance.

I have been going to Forget Me Not for ages and its certainly my favorite spot in Cherry Creek. Whether its been a relaxing afternoon sundowner or a late night with friends, I have nothing but great things to say about my experiences. A special shout out to Micah who I have know for many years and he always goes the extra mile to accommodate me and my friends and make us feel more than welcome as soon as we arrive.

Tiki bar
Hell or High Water Tiki Bar is a haunted pirate-themed bar with an LGBTQ+ twist, featuring male-anatomy-inspired decor hidden among skulls, crossbones, and other oddities. The sensory overload pairs well with island-inspired cocktails with cheeky, X-rated puns. Visitors recommend trying the agave-based options like the Pecker is Mightier Than the Sword. The bartenders are highly skilled and knowledgeable, providing thoughtful cocktail suggestions in a fun and free-spirited atmosphere.
Drinks are well designed, well constructed, and good & boozy. Bartenders are knowledgeable, skilled, and friendly. Atmosphere is definitely tiki. We still have a couple more tiki bars to try in Denver, but right now Hell or High Water has to rank as our favorite. We will definitely be back the next time we’re in town.

What a surprise! I was expecting somthing different based on some other things I have "heard" but this place was really a great experience! Service was super friendly and fast! The cocktails were crafted expertly and phenomenal! There is a great vibe and pulse for its size, and I look forward to returning to experience more!
Art H — Google review
This place has a spooky, nautical and slightly naughty atmosphere with a bunch of hidden details in the decor which is super fun. The drinks are all unique and often changing as the menu rotates but this comes with a price, the drinks are around $20 on average which adds up quick if you want to try more than one. With unique and complicated drinks comes a higher expensive and wait time so be nice to the bartenders. The food from the Samosa shop is an added bonus - and they bring the food up to you so you don't have to stand around and wait for it to be ready. I highly recommend the loaded fries, they're full of flavor and quite a big serving. It's a small place but very cozy.
Tabby W — Google review
Super awesome tiki bar! The drinks are super inventive and delicious. Where else can you find 2 cocktails with Malort as an ingredient? Some shock value with the decor and menu names for some, but seems very fitting for what they are going for. If you enjoy tiki, there's no way you should skip this place.
Christian H — Google review
this bar was my favorite place to go but the last two times I have gone my reservation has gotten skipped or missed. The first time we had a large group and they told us about an hour-two hour wait which we were cool with waiting for but when I checked in with the host they said they never saw my reservation and was rude with me even though we had been waiting for a table. They said they wouldn’t be able to accommodate before last call. We put our name on the list around 7:30pm and still someone got skipped. Last night I went with w group of 4 and again, our reservation got forgotten about. I normally recommend my friends to go here but after being skipped twice, I will no longer be recommending this place. The current staff is not very kind and makes you seem like an inconvenience. I also got double charged for the one round of drinks that we got which also sucks. If you are thinking of coming here just make sure that you have a small group and you keep checking with the host as they will skip you and pretend like you were never on the list. This bar needs to check in on their staff and see why they are treating patrons this way. Fun atmosphere but not worth the price or being treated badly. Might as well stay downstairs at honor farm versus going upstairs since they like to skip people on the waiting list and be rude when you get up there.

| LOVE tiki bars. I also love weird stuff and this was a dick themed tiki bar! So kitschy and fun. The bartenders were friendly and we learned they're both from the same area in PA my friend and I are! The drinks were DELICIOUS and I love that they have a lot of traditional rum style drinks (with their twist) but also have a good selection of mocktails we enjoyed as well as non-rum drinks which are more my style. Overall just a great vibe and solid drink offering for everyone, including my sober friend! I also got Garry, the dick snail tiki mug. I do think it's wildly overpriced but have started a small collection from tiki bars and it was just so unique I couldn't pass it up. There was a pricing mishap (charged a service fee for the mug) and I didn't realize until later. They fixed everything on the back end super easily and were very accommodating. Great experience!

Great drinks, funny names, awesome atmosphere and overall a great time! There were a few folks in our group who were confused on the automatic 22% gratuity for all checks, but it is clearly on the menus.

Great tiki bar. The decor is awesome. The drinks were outstanding. I see a lot of bad reviews about the bar and bartenders. We had no issues and understood how things work. The line moved very fast, and the drinks came out quick. Great service, and I appreciate that in a busy small bar. Yes, there is an auto tip, and it's on the menu, so I'm not sure how people miss it. I added to my tip because the service was great.

Stopped by with my partner after remembering that Wednesdays is Karaoke night. He loves to sing and we were visiting for a few days and I used to come thru Tight End with friends when I lived in the area in the past. It was pretty quiet but still very fun and just like I remembered. Amy absolutely rocked Karaoke and the bartender was also great. The entire bar was loving karaoke which is from 9-12p. Tight End continues to be a safe space for queer & trans people of all walks, from my privileged perspective. Definitely check it out

I went here this evening as part of my checking out the local gay bars. Here's my first impression: Nobody greeted me when I entered the bar. Not the indifferent bartender. Not even an acquaintance I knew from gay men's group. A simple nod, wave or smile would have sufficed. I got nothing. The guy sitting next to me had his back turned to me the entire time I was there. No acknowledgement of my presence at all. I ordered a Coke (I don't drink) and the bartender said "Only Coke?" ONLY?!? Sounded a bit judgemental to me. The bartender and other patrons, including the acquaintance, continued to ignore me. I'm not demanding a conversation, just a simple acknowledgement of my presence. If this place were any less friendly, it would be a "rough trade" bar where the other patrons physically assault you. I'm not into that.

Fun spot to grab drinks, some food and hang out. Went here twice during our stay in Denver. Staff are great. Sociable, friendly and knowledgeable. The bar and seating around Union Station is plentiful and comfortable. We also ordered the crab dip and the crispy goat cheese. Amazing flavors. The pistachio in the goat cheese was a perfect textural element. The crab dip is served with Ritz Crackers bringing back a nostalgic feel. This is exceptional "bar food." Pear cider was also well balanced and a hit. 100% would (and did) go back.

We visited Denver in May 2025. Lucky for us, our hotel room wasn’t ready (Crawford Hotel) but Terminal Bar was. We grabbed a couple drinks and a bite to eat at the bar. We ordered a few local beers and the crispy potatoes, all delicious. Then we started chatting with Heather, the bartender, we totally adored her. She was fun and helpful, going above and beyond by creating a perfect itinerary for our first visit to Denver. Her recommendations changed our trip for the better. We were glad our room wasn’t ready, this ended up being the perfect place to stop by at the beginning of our weekend trip so we closed out our trip there on Sunday, too. Cheers Terminal - great place, fun times!🍻 Pros n cons: Fantastic location: Located inside Union Station. The whole area was filled with a buzzy vibe that spilled into Terminal as well. Great design: Loved the decor - moody and dark‘ish. Wonderful staff: The people behind the bar were delightful, welcoming and easy to talk to. Deep drink selection: Lots of local beers and fun cocktails. Con: Be prepared for Terminal to add 8% to every check - in addition to your standard 20% tip. 3% goes to “ Union Station Historic Preservation Fee” and an additional 5% “that ensures our hard-working, non-tipped employees also earn a living wage”.

this place was a great experience! The skyline views at night are probably the best part all around. It really is such a great location and we happened to be there on the night of a Rockies win and experienced an awesome view of the firework show! the food is also really delicious and well done. I liked all the different options of courses. We made a rez about 1.5 hr Before the scheduled time and just sat at the bar and waited until then we were taken to our table promptly, all around the service was pretty great! The open air bar is just so cool and unique. This is a really special spot for city views!

Did the chefs table experience. I thought the food was very good, but I like smaller portions so I can try more things. Service was good and the city view in the evening really added to the vibe. I liked the lamb ribs and the paella was good. Unfortunately too stuffed to eat dessert. I was a little confused because I thought it would be a tasting menu, but after jumping that hurdle, the choices were straightforward and they added a bunch of surprise additions that really added to the experience.

Wow. Just wow. Started with amazing views and a drink before being seated for dinner. Loved the Mediterranean dips (you can get a half order), goat cheese croquettas, harissa eggplant fries, Tunisian couscous with lamb kebabs and sea bass! We decided on more Tapas options instead of paella. Next time paella!! Rowe was a very knowledgeable Wine Director and we had a lovely bottle of Spanish red. Service was stellar, we shall return.

Abigail was our server and she was simply the greatest...warm, attentive, and made the evening special. El Five never disappoints...that’s why we keep going back! :)

El Five was exceptional ! Best paella I’ve ever had. The Chilean sea bass was delicious. We drove from the springs just for my bday and our party could not stop talking about how good it was. Make sure to get the garlic hummus and the chicken croquets

We love going to El five for celebrations. This time we sat at the chef’s counter and it was a wonderful experience! Food was phenomal! Nick, the chef gave us wonderful recommendations and we couldn’t have left happier. The caviar flight and the seafood paella were our favorites!! Amazing experience!

Our server was excellent. The atmosphere is great for a couples dinner. We really enjoyed the steak, lamb, and shrimp. Our favorite dish was the soup dumplings! Delicious. The pineapple cucumber collins was incredible. But do skip the snow crab (not flavorful). L5 margarita was good, but the foam is very salty.

Service was not what I was expecting from the price point that guests pay. I made reservations 2 weeks in advance with request for a "city view." When we arrive they had tables available but it would be about 30-45 min for the patio. They sat us at the bar while waiting for a table, which is perfect to start with drinks and tapas. However, the bartender looked annoyed that we were sitting at his bar while we waited for a table. He took over 10 min to take our drink orders. I asked for a Tito's martini and of course they only offer Kettle. Thats when I noticed that their mission is to rack up that bill. Drinks came and he didnt even offer to take a tapas or appetizer order. I had to ask him if I could get started with a couple tapas. Each tapas cost $14 - $28. Way overpriced for the flavor and portion size. Ive been to Spain many times and these were not good. After about 30 min the hostess comes to take us to our table and he attempted to sit us at a regular table even though we had been waiting 30 min for a patio seat. He was the original guy that sat us at the bar, so Im not sure what the confusion was. I reminded him that we had been waiting for a patio seat and that if we wanted a regular seat we would have been sat when we first arrived because there was a regular table ready. He even questioned me if I had actually requested a patio. They are completely disorganized. He stated it would be another 30 -45 min and was walking us back to the bar and it was a little embarrassing to be honest. He miraculously found a patio table with a minute or two, so not sure what happened there. Please note, thiw timy table barely fit our 2 plates, and two cocktails. It was a table meant to put flowers on, not to dine on. We sat down and waited another 15 min just for someone to get us water and greet us at the table. Every server just kept walking by without saying a word. Not even an "I'll be right with you. The server finally greeted us and took our order. We ordered the seafood paella and immediately he stated "its going good to be a long wait for the seafood paella." I said that was okay and placed the order. Well, here's how they get you... while youre waiting for your "entree," you will inevitably order more over priced tapas and drinks. Nonetheless, we ordered more tapas and rink refills. The portion size for the "2 person" paella was more like a regular size portion. The pan had a very thin layer of rice and safron and was very unappealing and underwhelming. I have attached some pictures for reference. The paella was over cooked and seafood undercooked. Clams and mussels were still partially closed, fish was super dry, the smaller "salad shrimp" were drenched in lemon juice. It felt like everything was cooked separately. That is not how you cook paella. All together with the valet parking marked up drinks, flavorless tapas, and tiny entree I spent about $220 for 2 people and left hungry. Do not waste your money here... the best part of the whole experience was the view and you can get that from any rooftop in Denver. I travel to Spain annually, and this is not fine dining and this is nowhere close to being authentic Spanish cuisine. Skip this place.

Bar
Green Russell is a stylish underground bar known for its custom libations and small plates crafted by chef-partner Frank Bonnano. Nestled among chic retail stores and restaurants on Pearl Street Mall, this spot has been a staple since 1996. The interior features burgundy and green walls adorned with framed images of regulars, creating a cozy ambiance with dim lighting. After 10 p.m.
Green Russell is under Latimer Street and often has a wait for a table or bar seat. The wait is well worth it. The drinks and service are both incredible. Even if you don't like the cocktails (or mocktail) on the menu, the bartender will make you something custom if you share the spirit and flavors you like. In June we visited in celebration of my mom who passed away 12 years ago. When we mentioned it would have been her birthday, they made me her favorite drink and wrote her name on the top of the drink. Just incredible and a moment I'll never forget.

Went on a Friday night around 9pm. Was packed. Corn bread stole the show here. Cocktails were super pricey, wine was reasonable and delicious. They have an odd policy that you can’t order food if you’re at the front bar area…(why?) So we waited to be seated in the back. Service was friendly but slow. At one point the bartenders put on a random fire show blowing flames out of there mouth. That gained them another star :) Ambiance was great. The farther back you go, the better in atmosphere. There’s a random telephone booth that just adds to the mystique. My date got the BLT bites that were missing the ‘L’, he still seemed to enjoy them. Being a vegan, I was not impressed, but that’s another review not for here….

Totally funky speakeasy hidden away down some stairs off Larimer Square. They have excellent bar food, like smoked Mac and Cheese and these super rich but tasty pretzel cheese curd things! Everyone I was with ordered off the cocktail menu. They have all the usual suspects, old style and new style. They also offer their own seasonal creations. The best of those was the Spring Voyage, made with gin, green chartreuse, vermouth, liquor 42, shiso, lemon grass, and a lime leaf. It was herbal and funky, and delicious. I had a corpse reviver 2. They not only knew what it was, but they made a perfect one. I really do love craft cocktails, and this place is great. A special shout out to the hostess. She was amazing. I asked her if this was where the speakeasy was, and she said "I don't know. Is it?" She was charming and witty! And full of interesting old Denver stories. This is a must-try place. Have fun looking for it!

Good barbeque with two great atmospheres and super friendly wait staff. I've walked by many times but before today have never made it inside. Host was chatty in the best sort of way and offered me a seat on the "steakhouse" side while I waited for availability in the "speakeasy." I opted for the brisket sandwich with tallow fries and a draft beer. While the fries could have been less seasoned, the tallow sweetness still shone through. I have no complaints about the brisket; it was perfect. Their sauces were similarly on point. After my meal, a table opened up on the dimly lit side, where I described my typical drinks to an attentive bartender. He delivered a 6 ingredient smoked drink with a twist of orange that definitely satisfied. Great experience overall. I will definitely visit again soon.

I stopped in for a cocktail on my way to the airport. The atmosphere was swanky and amazing. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about cocktails. I had the fruit basket it was very refreshing. My only nit pick was that the drinks were a little pricey, I paid 20 dollars for one drink.

Found this place by accident and it's in my favourites list now! This is a speakeasy from the prohibition era and is kept as is - very different vibe from what I've see at most other bars! Dim lit ambience with comfortable seating. Staff was super friendly and nice. I got the Clover club and husband got the penicillin - both so good. We also got the brisket biscuits - very buttery and the brisket was well smoked and flavory! They also have a smokehouse next door and the food comes from the same kitchen- definitely want to try the bbq place. All in all - great experience and I absolutely recommend! Coming back soon :)

Very disappointing experience here after being recommended by a friend of a friend. I only give 2 stars instead of 1 as our server was delightful. At least while they were there that is. We had about an hour and a half before a booking nearby so we thought we'd check it out. We first had to wait 15 minutes on a list which is fine, I'm used to that sort of thing now for potentially busy places which I assumed this was. We were told that we can stay for a total of 90 minutes which we were ok with as we had dinner plans anyway. We each needed a pick-me-up so we each ordered an espresso martini hoping a bit of caffeine would wake us up. Forty minutes later we still hadn't received our drinks. Our waiter came by and said sorry for the wait and poured us some sparkling wine which we thought was nice. Until another twenty minutes went by and we still didn't receive our drinks. With no assurance on when we would receive our drinks (waiter didn't return) and realising that we would have to chug our expensive cocktails if we received them (due to a reservation elsewhere) we decided to leave. For a place that tells us we can only stay for 90 minutes, it seems as if you only have time to indulge in one cocktail assuming you actually receive it.
Andrew J — Google review
The Green Russel is a hidden gem, walk down stairs and through a back room into a very legitimate feeling speakeasy with mixologists mixing up some of the best craft cocktails I have had in a very long time... Each drink is made by hand to order and you can expect the production to take a few minutes per drink. Amazing find!

Star Bar, a long-standing pub in Denver since 1959, is a charming spot located near Coors Field. With a recent makeover and an excellent beer list, it feels brand new despite being in its current location for over fifty years. The bar maintains a B.Y.O.F. policy, allowing patrons to bring their own food while enjoying affordable drinks on the back patio.
The only honky tonk in Lodo! Run by a great guy who cares about vibe and music, the best country music bands play here, always fun dancing and the best little place to hang downtown if you like country music!

Zack doing karaoke kept promising my song and never let it play. Waste of time, watched a lot of people skip me in line, my advice is to find a different karaoke bar. Love the patio here, but don’t trust Zack saying you have “2 songs” — that lasted 2 hours and never got to sing.

Great local bar with excellent selection of beers (both on tap and cans), mezcal and whiskey. Great music and cool bartenders. Worth a visit.

Terribly rude bartenders even when I came only for the karaoke the bartenders were insufferable on presence period . Also prejudice to people who aren’t dressed casual , was a patron for years and came in after a long trip to be harassed from the moment I stepped in for no clear reason even after many times asking why. Would give 0 stars if I could don’t bother unless you are desperate for karaoke super bad like I was and can tolerate ignoring rude insufferable staff. The alleged owner co-signs the nonsense .

Super amateur bartenders. You can tell they really have no idea what they’re doing and it makes the bar experience cringey at best. Get people with some experience back there.

I’m seeing you bad reviews about this bar and I just don’t know why. One of my favourite bars I visited during my week in Denver. Good mix of local craft beers in a nice darkly lit interior giving it the classic dive bar feel . Took our beers outside and relaxed watching the late night crowd staggering around. Probably had one beer too many as we ended up in the outdoor tiki patio drinking from palm tree glasses .

Kachina Cantina is a lively eatery and bar located inside Dairy Block, making it a favorite spot to dine with friends visiting Denver. The restaurant offers a modern take on Mexican fare inspired by the Four Corners region and Baja Mexico. One of their must-try dishes is the fry bread tacos, which can be upgraded to Navajo-style for an even more delicious experience.
The food was amazing! The rice was very flavorful, and the first bite sent me. The huge poblano pepper was stuffed with cheese, corn, and zucchini, and was fried perfectly. 10/10 would recommend. And the staff were very nice!

Had the pleasure of stopping here last year during a food tour our last time in Denver, and had to come back during this visit back this year. Food and drinks were exactly as we remembered and we already can’t wait to come back again! The small upcharge for fry bread on their tacos is always worth it! We sat on the patio and the people watching with the incredible food and drinks made for really nice brunch! Love this place!!

The waitress Mindy was def a 10/10 she answered every question with no hesitation & her recommendation where on point🤤 The drinks where delicious so I can’t forget Jason who made a girl want more🍹the “only” reason for the three is the food🤔 It was presented well however the beef birria bowl (Mindy’s rec.)was the only hot entree. The customer service and second attempt at the tacos 🌮 is enough for me to return the overall experience 7.5/10

From start to finish, our experience at this restaurant was absolutely incredible! David and Jennifer went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. Their friendliness, attentiveness, and genuine warmth made the visit so enjoyable. The food was a solid 10/10—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. And the mimosas? Absolutely top tier—perfectly balanced and so refreshing. We left with full hearts, happy stomachs, and huge smiles. Can’t wait to come back!

Had to deduct a star since they charge 2% on DBIF, data base for insects and plants, lol. It seems like resturants are charging for random cause that has nothing to do with the customer. We had a wonderful meal tho. Servers were nice and it was a shame that servers have to see that 2% coming out of their pay. I am not gonna waste my time ask for the fee to be removed from my check and sot for another 10 min until the check comes back.

Good food but service experience wasn’t good. Our first time eating here so it was unclear if we seat ourselves. Waited a bit for the bartender to be able to direct us. Once we came back up to the bar to order, service was curt when answering our questions about the food and menu. Closing our tab was hard since there was no one behind the bar when we were finished so we had to close out downstairs.

This is my perfect bar. Exposed brick, painted tin ceiling, old school BAR vibes. Aaaaand huge draft selection, charming bartender, and elevated bar food. The danger with a bar bar is that the food is often the first to suffer. They had chicharrones and queso (what?!?) and in house tater tots that were phenomenal! I *will* be back.
Amanda C — Google review
They changed happy hour and the server didn't say anything about it when we ordered off the list :/ happy hour used to be any draft, now it's a selected few. Which is a major bummer as it's extremely limiting now. They have good daily specials and a great rooftop.

Alicia is a bartender and server that keeps us coming back. She is really nice and wears many hats. It seems like her love language is hospitality. BRUTO is a Mexican-inspired counter-serve venue that offers a fusion tasting menu with a focus on highlighting one ingredient per evening, week, or month. The 10-course meal experience features dishes that showcase the featured ingredient in each course. While some guests found the cocktail pairings lackluster, others were impressed by the complexity and deliciousness of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
Took my wife here for our 21st anniversary. The food did not disappoint. The ambience was awesome. The staff was super friendly very cool environment being able to watch them work. It’s a different environment, but was awesome. I don’t typically watch chefs make my food. We had an incredible night. Definitely one of the best restaurants if not the best in Colorado.

We went here to celebrate my husband’s birthday and thought the food and service was excellent. We read all the mixed reviews (Some loved it others hated it). We did not find any of the food salty nor the amount of food to be small. I would absolutely recommend. We sat at one of the 2 intimate tables versus the chefs table - we had requested this and were very pleased with the table. We have been to other Michelin star restaurants and James beard award winners and I would put Bruto right up there with the rest of them.
Traci J — Google review
This was, on the whole, an excellent experience. Lovely inventive food, the drink pairing were a definite highlight (maybe a little heavy on the sake for the wine pairing), and the service was excellent and very personable. However, be prepared to pay. I've eaten everywhere from the French Laundry to Noma and Guy Savoy, and this competed for price with Michelin 3 Star restaurants, which I just wasn't really expecting. Yes its labeled so I should have known, but man...$800+ for dinner and drinks in Denver? Was just a bit of sticker shock.
Ben E — Google review
Whereas Osteria Francesca focuses on the food, and Alinea focuses on spectacle, I would say that Brutø’s strength really lies in its totally devoted customer service. The food is deservedly Michelin starred, and the atmosphere is modern, comfortable, and upscale. The service, however, is absolutely exemplary. This Chef and their team seem totally dedicated to making sure that every diner has the maximumly pleasurable personal experience possible. Comfortable and engaging, you can’t ask for a more catered experience in Michelin stars.
Robin R — Google review
It was a fantastic experience. Chef-driven tasting dinners are always a treat—and not the norm in Denver. Love the ethos and the craftsmanship in every dish. Service was perfect; just the right blend of interaction and time to savor the dishes and talk amongst ourselves. My favorites of the 11 dishes were both trout ones, the pork, and the bread. Several of the others were too intense for me; a little fermentation goes a long way and for me it overpowered a lot of other flavors. My husband and son loved it all, though, so it’s really just preference. The wine pairing choices were novel and delicious. We took notes, but they also gave us a menu of the food and wine at the end. There are plenty of delicious-looking non-alcoholic beverage options for every course too, definitely not an afterthought. Made for a great birthday celebration with my favorite people.
Lisa M — Google review
Bruto was a fantastic Michelin level meal and an awesome final meal during our recent Colorado excursion. Service was impeccable throughout and the atmosphere inside, while more plain than other Michelin restaurants we've been too, was warm and inviting. All of the dishes we received on the tasting menu ranged from Greta to incredible - particularly the soup at the beginning, bread court, and dessert. Definitely pricey, but would come back for another fine dining meal in Denver.

We’ve been coming here for four years and overall it is our favorite game bar. The games are usually all working and it’s really clean and spacious. However, the past two times I’ve had a bad experience with having something innocuous in my bag being taken from me at the door. Last time, I forgot I had aerosol dry shampoo from my hair appointment in my bag. They took this from me and put it i. Some back room that was an absolute hassle to get back when we left because no one knew what we were talking about. Today, we just stopped in and I had a water bottle and aerosol sunblock in my bag. I assumed the sunblock would be taken due to my previous experience, but instead they wanted me to leave my water bottle in a bin by the front door. Anyone could have taken it. I offered to empty my water out and the person at the door said no. So needless to say, make sure you have nothing on you that you don’t want to leave somewhere random within the bar. We just ended up leaving and not staying this time.

Tap Fourteen - Rooftop Beer Garden is a lively spot offering a variety of local beers, spirits, and cocktails on the rooftop patio with stunning city views. Situated atop Hayter's & Co near Coors Field, it provides an extensive menu of Colorado beer and whiskey along with crafted cocktails and wines. The south-facing terrace is perfect for soaking up the Denver sun or enjoying evenings out.
A girlfriend of mine and I came here - we were just visiting the city for a weekend. We had no idea where the “spots” were, and were craving some cider. We stumbled upon this amazing rooftop with the BEST cheese fries. It was so good we shamelessly ordered a second one. Chill staff and crowd too. Will be coming here next time we visit!

Fun rooftop spot for pregame drinks or sunny-day hangs! This is a great place to pop into before a game or when the sun’s out. It can be a little tricky to find, enter through Hayter’s, show your ID, and head up the stairs on your left. Once you’re up top, you’ll find a shaded rooftop with misters to keep you cool and a laid-back vibe. The menu offers a solid selection of Colorado beers, mixed drinks, and even a nice array of non-alcoholic options. I loved the Fire Island, refreshing and flavorful! We grabbed some food while we were there. Unfortunately, my husband didn’t enjoy his burger, and the fries were underwhelming. They were also sold out of onion rings, which was disappointing. I went with the Philly quesadilla with steak and highly recommend subbing in cheddar cheese. It made for an amazingly ooey-gooey, cheesy treat inside a crispy tortilla. Too bad the server forgot to provide napkins! A few things to be aware of: There was an attendant in the bathroom, which we weren’t expecting. People were walking around promoting online gambling apps, which added a different kind of energy to the place. The crowd was mixed, and since it was pregame, there were more Yankees fans than Rockies fans that day. All in all, it's a fun stop for rooftop views and drinks we'd definitely return with friends and family!

This is a hidden gem in downtown Denver for sure. It looks kind of like a college bar when you walk in, but head upstairs to the rooftop and it is a whole vibe. Enjoyed the rooftop, but the shades were down,so we couldn't see anything. Liked turf on the patio. Waitstaff was attentive. Like barnwood interiors, but wood was really dinghy, like it had a kitchen but no vent hood. Good location for Coors field.

Finn's Manor is a trendy bar located on Larimer Street in the RiNo district of Denver. It offers an extensive selection of over 800 spirits and sixteen rotating taps, making it one of the top spots for craft cocktails and rare beer styles. The bar also features a diverse array of food trucks parked outside, providing guests with various dining options. Whether you're looking for a pre-dinner drink or late-night cocktails, Finn's Manor is the place to be.
Came on a Saturday evening around 10pm. Get your eyes ready for this place. It has a rewarding, multiple-setting atmosphere. Do understand that the cocktail apportioned bar is quite busy after 9:30, and you will likely wait over 5 minutes to establish the bartender's attention. Their interior bar is monstrously loaded with whiskeys, vodkas, tequilas, and liquors. Tried the neat pour of Auchentoshan American Oak (single malt) whiskey, which has a supremely subtle finish ($14 cost). After settling into the dance area towards the rear, I was met by many beautiful women in their 20s. The music was a fairly engaging progressive house, and the lighting kept the energy alive. If you like this type of surrounding, you will find Finn's to be a welcoming 2nd home.

This place was great. Good food trucks, drinks are custom and solid, and the vibe/space is really great for all group sizes. I would say it’s a bit expensive for what it is, so it is t a total home run, but I’ll probably be back again!

Finn's Manor is one of our favorite bars in the River North district of Denver. They have an incredible beer and spirits selection. The bartenders are all super friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to make up something fun. There's at least two or three food trucks out front on the weekends too so you can always find a great meal between drinks. Finn's also has amazing music, from electronic DJs to Afro-Cuban Jazz bands. If the great Twan's burger is set up, don't walk, run to his stall and order the best cheese burger of your life. At Finn's, you're always gonna have a great time

I came here for an event and it was an amazing place to meet people and hang out. The DJ had good music going on and the place had a great vibe. There was also a food truck inside called Twansburger and it is one of the best cheeseburgers I've had. Would love to visit again!

Cool vibe and great food options. Really enjoyed Rebel Chicken. Drink prices seemed pretty steep considering how casual the atmosphere is ($11/beer, $15+ for cocktails) and wasn't really baby-friendly - but I don't think that's what they're going for anyways. Interesting concept. Staff not super friendly.

Used to love coming here for deafcat, but the music is so different now. Finn's was my favorite bar in denver until the recent changes. Kinda kills the vibe :( would definitely be open to coming back with more music freedom!

Very cool interior, friendly bartender, actually a pretty good selection of nonalcoholic drinks you just need to ask. He made me lovely mocktail that wasn’t quite my thing, and re-made it for me for no charge. Love it, and reasonable price!

Hudson Hill is a cozy and intimate lounge located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood, offering a blend of coffee and cocktails in a casually cosmopolitan setting. Whether you're seeking a morning pick-me-up or an evening wind-down, this plant-filled bar and cafe has something for everyone. From expertly crafted caffeine beverages to complex elixirs like the Holy Mole, there's no shortage of options to indulge in.
Love this place. Been here for all kinds of reasons. Coffee meetings, happy hour, small bites, and late night dates. The atmosphere is my favorite in the late morning when the sun shines through and the plants are feeling themselves in full bloom. The record player turning Headhunters by Herbie Hancock and a turmeric latte in hand.

This is a place for every occasion. Coffee with a friend, girls’ night out, date night… it’s good for everything. Warm and cozy atmosphere. Fantastic drinks. Awesome bartenders who are fun to joke around and chat with. I’ve been coming here for years and it’s consistently earned 5 stars.

Popped in around 7pm on a Sunday. Didn’t try any food. But our Easy Tiger mocktails were great. Tantalized the taste buds! Cozy easy going vibe.

I was definitely not expecting to love this place as much as I did! I was surprised how quiet this cafe was especially with so many people in the space. Many folks were working and keeping to themselves but it had such a relaxing and welcoming vibe. We had some pâté and baguettes and the grilled cheese that came with some incredible jam and delicious mustard. The staff was so cool and nice and I also had the best London fog latte I’ve ever had. Thank you so much!

i don’t usually leave low reviews but this place has deleted all my comments on their social media and blocked me after coming here for months regularly. they kicked me out because i set my leg on the bench seating with an injured knee. an employee said i was laying down and they don’t tolerate that. they also claimed i made an inappropriate joke when i said “that’s what she said” to a worker. very strange vibes recently the management change has severely impacted the quality of service. employees are rude, aggressive, and clearly not enjoying their jobs. i was a regular customer and never had an issue until this week. hudson hill also doesn’t answer their phone and are scrubbing their social media for any feedback they don’t like. coffee is 10/10 and location is perfect but management change has ruined this capitol hill classic. if you are handicapped, crippled, or injured i recommend literally anywhere else.

Hudson Hill is a great coffee shop in the Capital Hill neighborhood that has a nice selection of coffee, tea, mocktails, and cocktails. They also have a small food menu so it was a good choice to set up and work for a few hours. Parking is metered so around so be aware of that. Thanks so much - see you next time.

My mate has been visiting Hudson Hill for 7 years, hence why he finally (!) invited two of us for coffee, and breakfast, and I am so glad that he did. Tracks is a long-standing gay bar and dance hall located in Denver's RiNo Art District. Over the past 17 years, it has become known for its high-quality drag performances, themed parties, and live music from touring artists. The club features multiple dance floors with top-notch sound and light shows, as well as open mic nights and hip-hop events for those 18 and older.
Chanté from Tracks helped us so much thank you she is the absolute best worker and so kind! I lost faith in her humanity but she single-handedly restored it with the upmost degeee known to MANKIND. I have never met such an empathic and kind human being working at a venue similar to this one. she truly made myself and my friend’s birthday night one to remember!! Please bear with me, it's going to be a long one. This review will include positive and negative comments. My goal is to give an overall picture of my visit and offer suggestions for the club to make it better. I know this place can be a great place for a night out. I thought I would try Tracks after a few months since my last visit. I appreciate the level of Security at the entrance and around the club. The entry employees were great (friendly and welcoming). The bartenders that I interacted with were friendly and provided quick service. The drinks were expensive and they only accepted cards at the bar, no cash (I would prefer an option instead of several card charges). I did see a sign they do offer lids for your drinks for a level of safety. This was my first time seeing the Neon Grotto. It's a fairly new space that seems like it could be fun. On my night it was closed to non-pup people but at least I got a peak at it. I am not quite sure on the dj arrangements. They used to have the house/mainstream remix type music in the main room. The night I went, they moved that to the lounge (DJ Orion was awesome). Sadly, the lounge has little in the way of a dance floor and dance floor lighting. A suggestion for the lounge is to add dance floor lighting (i.e. moving head type). If it is already there, it wasn't being utilized. On my visit, they put the mix of dance and slow music in the main room. That was previously in the lounge. I was not a fan of the DJ in the main room. The main dance floor music was also extremely loud. Maybe invest in a decibel meter and do a periodic check on levels during the night. Note they do offer ear plugs at the bar. The dance floor lighting in the main room was terrible. I'm not sure if they changed the rig or what but it wasn't great. I have seen better lighting operation the past. They really were not using the digital screen behind the stage to supplement the floor lighting (I have seen great visuals in the past on the screen). Note they were quite heavy on the theater smoke at times during my visit (I did upload an example of this situation). As far as the customer base, as some of the other reviews have stated it has more of a mixed crowd. It's sad to see some of the hate here in the Google Maps comments towards LGBTQIA+ people. The club does say it is a hate free zone. All should be welcome at the club (by everyone). However if you are expecting the crowd to be mostly gay men, you could end up being disappointed. I cannot answer for the other LGBTQIA+ nights. A suggestion would be to offer more various themed nights (they currently seem to repeat a lot) and or make the Neon Grotto or lounge a fetish only space (similar to other fetish bars in Denver) when the club is open. That would allow the club to cater to a lot of various people. It would then always give you a bigger customer base during your open hours. I spent a few minutes in the outside alley. If I remember correctly, they did have a food vendor and a few outdoor games in the alleyway. During my visit there were two food vendors outside the club. It was great to have an immediate food option after a night out.

Tracks in RiNo is easily one of the best nightlife spots in all of Colorado. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was full of energy and warmth. The staff made everyone feel genuinely welcome and comfortable. The bartenders were friendly, fast, and engaging, and the security and door staff greeted guests with smiles and kindness. The music was amazing, the crowd was lively and inclusive, and it truly felt like a space where you could relax, dance, and be yourself without judgment. What impressed me most was the strong sense of community and positivity throughout the entire night. Every person I interacted with, from staff to fellow guests, radiated good energy and joy. The drinks were well made and generous, the DJs kept the party alive with great mixes, and the lights and decor created the perfect vibe for a memorable evening. Tracks is a rare find that blends an exciting party atmosphere with genuine hospitality. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, welcoming, and unforgettable night out in Denver.

Amazing club/bar. I love that it's GAY. I also love that every 3rd Friday of every month they turn the bar into a skating rink. You can bring your own skates or rent skates at the bar. You can skate throughout the whole place. They designate one room as the skate room but you can skate in any room. It's a blast

Loved this place but will not be back after my experience tonight. Security was super aggressive and I saw them manhandle several other girls because they didn’t like the speed they were walking out the door. The short girl was the worst, yelling at so many people who were not causing trouble. Girl please seek therapy or get a non-people job, that was crazy. Would not recommend, go literally anywhere else so you can feel safer and respected by the staff.

We traveled from Colorado Springs and stayed with friends at the CatBird Hotel over the weekend to celebrate a birthday. Since Tracks was close to our hotel, we visited both Friday and Saturday nights, making it our final stop each night. Friday (Kink Night) We were excited for kink night and the tastings, something we had all been looking forward to. Security at the entrance was fine and the overall ambience was acceptable. However, the bartending experience was disappointing from the start. The first bartender we interacted with—a woman working in the lounge—was unfriendly, condescending, and lacked any welcoming demeanor. No smile, no warmth, and overall very poor customer service. Hoping for a better experience, we went to a second bartender, a male. Instead of a greeting, acknowledgement, or even basic professionalism, he simply pointed at us without saying a word. It felt rude and dismissive. This was especially surprising because in previous visits, Tracks had friendly, engaging bartenders who made the environment feel fun and welcoming. Unfortunately, that was not the case this time. The tastings and kink components of the evening were enjoyable, and we made the best of the night, but the quality of customer service significantly impacted the experience. Saturday (Regular Night) After visiting X Bar, Charlie’s, and another bar on Larimer, we ended our night at Tracks again, hoping for a better experience for our friend’s birthday. Security was friendlier than the night before, but the bar service was once again disappointing. While slightly better than Friday, the bartenders still lacked engagement—no smiles, no eye contact, and very little personality once again dismissive almost. Considering the price point—Vodka Red Bulls around $18 before tip—there is an expectation of basic customer service and professionalism. Unfortunately, that expectation was not met. We requested to speak with a manager to provide feedback, but no one ever came, which was not surprising given the overall experience. Tracks is not what it used to be. If you’re looking for a fun, welcoming environment with friendly, personable, and engaging bartenders, this is no longer the place to find it.

After I got my third drink I went over to go to the outside area. A girl came over and said one of bouncers said I had too much to drink, put big black x's on my hand and took my beer. I walk with a limp cause I broke my femur biking in China years ago, but in the 25 years of going to bars I never had anyone cut me off like that over nothing. I wasn't even talking to anyone or being obnoxious. I went there for the first time with a few friends to enjoy the drag show. Too bad cause I enjoyed the show, the bartender was nice and in general it seemed like it could have been a cool place to go back. I do tours in the area everyday and send a e-guide to all my customers of all the places I recommend in Denver. I was looking forward to recommending this place and even possibly making it a stop on my drinking tour, but obviously that's not going to happen. Good way to loose a couple thousand recommendations a year because of overzealous bouncers probably looking for some drama.

This hip and dim-lit lounge serves up cocktails and snacks in a trendy art gallery setting. It's perfect for a date night or to take in some fresh artwork. Both bars are filled with beautiful bartenders who create delicious drinks, and the vibe is very cool and laid-back. The menu features everything from tacos to shishito peppers, so there's something for everyone!
The bartenders make a mean cocktail and mixed shot. Very friendly and helpful staff - it’s in a great location and And the whole tiki hut, moody vibe? It's not just ambiance; it’s a strategic choice, creating an atmosphere conducive to both relaxed conversation and, dare I say, deep contemplation. It’s a combination that’s not just good, it’s eminently sensible.

This place used to be one of my favorite spots. Despite the Google description, it is NO longer a speakeasy behind an art gallery. It is now a very dingy, disgusting dive bar that unironically plays club music and 90s and 2000s hip-hop. This used to be a really classy place with good music, great ambiance, and an atmosphere to hang out and have a conversation - not fight to get to the bar and get drinks spilled on you. So disappointed.
Tina D — Google review
Yesterday evening around 8 PM, my fiancée and I walked to this place after dinner for a cocktail. When we arrived, the setup was very disorganized. There was no one to greet guests, and it was unclear whether we were supposed to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. We moved past the first room into what I assumed was the bar area. We sat down at the corner of the bar, found the QR code for the menu, and each picked a drink. There were only five people at the bar, including us. Two bartenders were working, both making cocktails and cleaning glassware. They each looked over at us multiple times but never came to take our order. We noticed that other people were walking up to the bar, placing orders, and getting their drinks without issue. The bartenders continued to serve others, including bringing another round to a party of three sitting at the bar, yet they completely ignored us. After waiting 30 minutes without so much as a greeting, we decided to take our business elsewhere. Save your time and money—skip this place entirely.

Be careful in this place. They charged my card a second charge that wasn't mine hours after I left. I called and no one answered and now I'm having to dispute the transaction with the bank. Headache 1-update I send an e-mail. No answer 2-update it’s worst than I think Hospitality charge $7,6? I give tip cash, why $19 tip on my card? Ask for receipt before pay, if I have just one purchase why 2 charges? Keep away this place my advice. Note1: the espresso martini are terrible. Note2: they put the tip for themselves. Don’t trust this place! Note3: $17 for a shot tequila????

This place isn't a true speakeasy but it is a nice spot with chill vibes and fantastic cocktails. The smoked old fashioned and second breakfast drinks are definitely worth a taste. The pretzel bites and parmesan truffle fries are good snacks though the prices on the menu didn't match our receipt. Main reason I'm rating 4 stars is because though we were the only 2 people there after a small group left, the bartender was not as attentive as he should've been and we sat with empty drinks with the desire to order more. In the end, we were turned off and decided to leave instead. Ultimately, I recommend this place for the drinks and ambiance!

This is an awesome cocktail bar and lounge in Denver, Colorado. The speakeasy is dimly lit and cozy. The building is very industrial with implements of brick, brass and wood throughout the space. My my my what a great experience at Lady Jane we had tonight! Ethan was our server and was extremely knowledgeable, we like some pretty adventurous libations and we weren’t disappointed one bit. One drink tasted like a Caesar salad and one tasted like a deviled egg, no joke. If that wild of a cocktail isn’t your thing then trust me in saying that if they can make a great deviled egg cocktail, any thing there will be good

Had an amazing time here! My wife and I celebrated our 1st anniversary with some post-dinner drinks and it couldn't have been better. Our waitress was so nice and helpful with explaining the menu and suggestions on drinks. She even brought us a secret drink menu when we expressed interest on a specific type of booze we were interested in, but inexperienced in how to combine it into a good cocktail. Side note: Whoever was in charge of the music playlist was absolutely killing it.

It was our first time at Lady Jane. We had a great time and the drinks were phenomenal. I think I got the Bussey? I don’t see it on their menu on the website but it was something like that. The cheese plate was simple and divine. Drinks are slightly expensive, but exceptional. I can’t wait to come back!

Over priced and overrated. My cocktail was a coffee passionfruit cardamom mix that was not good. I tried to drink it and sipped on it for an hour but could not finish it. I passed it to 8 other people at the table but no one liked it or wanted it so I couldnt even give it away. When it came time to pay we had a group of 8 people and we all had been drinking some of us bought food, some bought 4 drinks and others only had 1 drink. They would not let us pay by item. There was a 20% auto gratuity added and when my friend walked to the bar to ask if we could pay individually they said yes to come pay at the bar and then said no the server would come to our table. The server then came and told us we needed to write down the card number and ammount for each card which caused more confusion. The frustrating part was that they clearly had the ability to go around the table and let us pay for what we ordered or let us pay at the bar the server just did not want to do that. It would also have been very helpful if they told us this before hand. We all left pretty unsatisfied with the service. There are so many great bars in Denver I would give this a miss next time.

I had the most amazing time during my visit to Lady Jane’s on Halloween! My girls and I started our Halloween night here and stayed longer than planned just because of the atmosphere and service — don’t get me wrong, the drinks were good too 😆. The hostess at the door was also super courteous and made me feel welcome upon entry. I am not new to the experience of being one of few minorities in an establishment and I felt welcomed and accepted. Not to mention they were very welcoming to LGBTQ+ individuals and even had an exceptional themed drag performance! The drinks were very well-made but are a bit on the pricey side (welcome to Denver). The service was exceptional and our drinks were refilled immediately after we finished. The frequency of table check-ins were much appreciated. And thank you to the host that made me feel okay after I dropped my drink and the cup shattered everywhere. I kept apologizing and felt bad, but I was told that it happens all the time. I ordered another drink of course!

Cool bar with very unique cocktails. They may be a bit too unique for my taste, they have cocktails that taste like bell peppers and caesar salad, but they were definitely very professionally made. The layout results in some of the booth tables in the middle feeling a bit cramped but it is very nice looking in here.

Sunday Vinyl, located in LoHi, is a popular wine bar known for its impressive turntables and diverse music selection. Whether you're enjoying French bubbles at the marble bar or indulging in oysters and wagyu beef tartare in a booth, the ambiance is enhanced by the eclectic tunes playing through the speakers. Partnering with Vinyl, Please, a local record-of-the-month club, Sunday Vinyl offers an engaging musical experience featuring anything from Alanis Morissette to Nas.
I took my wife to this place for Valentine's Day. We had an amazing time and the dinner was a special three course meal for Valentine's. All the courses looked awesome and tasted delicious. The ambiance was modern and romantic. I also loved the music they were playing throughout the night (I mean you better if you have vinyl in the name and thousands of LPs in the restaurant lol). The service was incredible with friendly and very attentive staff. I also loved the fact it was next to the Union Station overlooking the train platforms. I highly recommend this place for a date night or special occasion.

Seeing that this restaurant was nominated for a James Beard Award and checking out their vibe online, I knew my wife and I had to try it on our visit. I loved the atmosphere right away, giving a quality fine dining experience paired with a great music playlist (this particular playlist heavily featured Lauryn Hill and Little Simz 🔥. Please put it on your Spotify profile!). I enjoyed that the music was loud enough to enjoy but not so loud you have to shout to hear each other. I had the Guilty Pleasures cocktail and it was easily the best cocktail I had in Denver all weekend so I couldn’t have it just once. The Croquettes were insanely good and I loved the Gnocchi Parisienne. Outstanding flavor! My wife had the Al Pastor chicken and she didn’t want it to end. The staff was very nice and helpful as well. I look forward to my next opportunity to dine here.

I don’t believe any review that is less than 5 stars. Do they not like delicious and interesting food? Do they not like exceptional service? Be real people. Pork chops are to die for. Summer melon, oysters, grilled zucchini, sliders, and mussels all exceptional. Highly recommend the beet carpaccio. The GM, Travis, is also AMAZING. I’d give Sunday Vinyl 10/5 stars.

Outstanding food in Union Station, amazingly delicious. Parker rolls made with milk bread and rosemary butter were amazing, but the pork entree was the single best pork dish I've had in my life. Barramundi was also excellent. Even the aperol grapefruit sorbet was outstanding. Servers were all very friendly and chatty and well informed about the menu. The decor was simple but nice, and the music for the mood very well. I'll be back!

My girlfriend and I recently went to Sunday Vinyl for dinner during the weekend. I made a reservation and we got to our seats very quickly. Shout to the team for having our table ready when we got there even though it was very busy that day. We started off with the Fall Salad and I think it was one of my favorite things we ordered. I had no idea beets can be that delicious! After that, everything else came out: roasted carrots, barramundi, and wagyu flank steak. They also put in an order or pommes frites (French fries) on accident and decided to give it to us on the house. Thanks! The roasted carrots were really good and sweet. You could tell they were quality carrots. The barramundi was another one of my favorites. I’m a fan of fish and they did an excellent job of cooking the barramundi with a great sauce(?) that tasted great with it. I found the wagyu steak flank overcooked and really salty which was disappointing given the price. The pommes frites were cooked well but also extremely salty. Overall, I would recommend Sunday Vinyl if you are trying to take someone to a place that is unique and don’t mind paying a bit extra. It is a bit loud in there (we had to raise our voices a bit to hold a conversation) but it is also a vinyl place so you would expect them to show off their music.

Wow! We had the best time at Sunday Vinyl! We had a girl's night out & attended their Taylor Swift Wine Flight Night. We weren't totally sure what to expect & were blown away with the exceptional choice of wine, the sommelier's explanations, the wonderful service & the wonderfully fresh food. The executive chef even made a special vegan meal not on the menu so I could have a nice entree instead of picking at some apps. It was so fun to get all dressed up, try wines we might not otherwise try & enjoy the cosmopolitan atmosphere. We're already excited to come back for more Wine Flight Nights 🍷

As a tavernetta sister restaurant I was honestly expecting more. The steak was very chewy and cold, we told the waitress we didn't like it but still paid for it. I can tell they care more about the money than their customers. She did offer to change it but nothing else was honestly that good. The fish was average, and burger was definitely the best thing we tried. I suppose its a more of a place for drinks and a light snack, don't come here for a meal.
Zeid B — Google review
Sunday Vinyl has one of the most impressive wine selections in Denver, with a unique focus on wine and vinyl music pairings. Unfortunately, the service did not match the quality of the wine, and the lack of hospitality was especially shocking. I visited with friends, and while the sommelier was knowledgeable, he was shockingly dismissive. When one of our party mentioned she liked that the Syrah was smoky, he told her she had an “immature palate,” which was rude and unnecessary. He was also completely incorrect about the tasting notes. He refused to serve another glass of the champagne from the flight, upsold her to a non-comparable option he claimed was similar, then under-poured her glass compared to the rest of the table. It set an uncomfortable tone for the evening. When asked to add one more person to our reservation, the staff responded with visible exasperation and said they couldn’t accommodate three people even though the restaurant was half full. The rigidity and lack of warmth were disappointing in a setting meant to celebrate exceptional hospitality and connection. We spent over $220 on wine and were treated as though we didn’t belong. On top of which, their water filter was beeping loudly over the music as well, we thought it was a door alarm. If we’re being asked to spend $32 on a grilled cheese with no sides, I would presume that some portion of that cost is intended to go toward a curated experience and supporting exceptional hospitality from a uniquely professional team. This visit did not meet those expectations. The wine list itself is phenomenal, but the hospitality was condescending and cold. We would return for the wine itself, but not for the overall venue. This experience stands in stark contrast to Tavernetta, where genuine warmth and professionalism define every guest experience. It would be much more cost effective to buy 2 bottles of their Luis Pato and listen to vinyls in my own home.

Came up as a good place for a first date on Google. Now I see why. Snacks are really good and it’s local but not in the middle of the crazyness of Larimer. Staff is professional and the owner is a doll. Will be back for sure

AMAZING customer service! We sat at the bar on the last day of negroni week and the bartender and what I believe was the manager were EXTREMELY nice and welcoming! They helped us pick out cocktails we would like and were very knowledgable in everything! Thank you for such an amazing time!

Stopped by the candlelit Bar Helix for my birthday on Thursday night. I had a trashy martini, pimento stuffed olive included. Super chill vibes, amazing drinks, and enchanting staff. I was pleasantly surprised by the special treatment my friend and I received for my birthday. The yin and yang flask...homemade limoncello.... you must experience it for yourself.

Small plates restaurant
Deviation Distilling recently celebrated its fifth anniversary with a major transformation, relocating from a basic production facility to a stylish 1,791-square-foot space in downtown's lively Dairy Block. The new two-story location boasts a modern taproom and outdoor seating with fire pits. Guests can savor Deviation's signature gins and coffee-infused whiskeys through guided tastings or in expertly crafted cocktails featuring house-made syrups and tonics.
Honestly, this is one of the best places to visit, hands down - Briona and the rest of the staff are fantastic, attentive and super accommodating! I adore their coffee whiskey collection, and the tasting and drink options that are for gin as well are excellent and pretty yum, even though I'm not a huge gin person.

On our recent trip to Denver we decided to stop in to Deviation Distilling for a quick drink and we are so glad we did. We ended up staying for quite a while and had a great time. Our bartender Will was very friendly and can mix up a delicious cocktail. If you've never had one, I highly recommend the Colorado Bulldog. My wife ordered that and absolutely loved it. We also did the whiskey flight, which was delicious, especially if you like creative whiskeys. I highly recommend Deviation Distilling while in Denver.

Our bartender, Will, was fantastic and always makes a great cocktail. Everything is always phenomenal including ambiance, service, and the products! The drinks are inventive and original. The service is welcoming and eclectic. We've visited many times and will continue to patronage this establishment. If you find yourself in the neighborhood of the dairy block, this is a must try. The spirits are fantastic and you won't be disappointed. Cheers!

Stopped here on a whim on the way to eat at the Milk Market for dinner. Great little spot, great service, and inventive drinks! I’d recommend going during happy hour for $10 drinks and $7 popcorn. Next time I might try the gin flight to get a better sense of the gins they make.

We stopped in here to escape the rain and ended staying for a few hours! My husband and I tried a few different drinks and all of them were so good! Their drink menu had a good selection of classics as well as a bunch of more unique options. We also ordered the charcuterie board and the popcorn flight and they were both good and were perfect snacks while trying some new cocktails! The bartenders were friendly and the seating area was really nice and comfortable

Had an outstanding time with Victoria, Maddy, and Briona tasting wonderful libations. They make interesting infusions mixed to perfection with incredible balance and complexity. I felt like an idiot. I've probably walked right by this joint a dozen times and never stopped in. Glad I finally made it in! The atmosphere is great for a date night or chill-ax with friends. The drinks are yummy and innovative, need to make my way through their menu over a few visits. We got an amazing s'mores kit for the kids, they had so much fun! Will certainly remember to stop in the next time I'm in the Dairy Block, now that I know it's there!

If you're looking for a unique blend of relaxation and style, Red's Barber Lounge is the place to be. Nestled in the vibrant RiNo district, this chic spot not only offers top-notch grooming services but also boasts an inviting atmosphere that makes every visit enjoyable. Many patrons rave about Hilary, a talented barber known for her professionalism and creativity. With years of experience under her belt, she has built a loyal clientele who appreciate her ability to adapt styles based on individual preferences.
I've been coming to Hilary for years. Always professional and welcoming. I've made the mistake of going elsewhere on few occasions when she was booked and that was always a mistake. She always does an amazing job. I trust her enough to allow her to give me any haircut when looking for a change and if you're ever looking to grow out your hair with something in mind she'll walk you through the cuts as time goes. Highly recommended !

First went to Hilary for a professional cut and beard trim for my wedding Sept '21. The session and results was so great that I couldn't imagine going back to inconsistent cheaper chains. Haven't gone anywhere since, and don't plan to. The value, quality, professionalism, detail oriented work and friendliness makes Red's a highly recommended choice for men's hair needs.

I've been to several shops in many different states over the years and no one has ever cut my hair as clean as she has. Her schedule fills up quick so be sure to plan out a few days.

Hilary is a fabulous barber. She is great company, has creative thoughts when I want to change my cut slightly and her lounge is both comfortable and easy to get to. I have enjoyed seeing her for a few years now and will continue to trust her. I highly recommend her for any of your hair or barber needs.

I did not write a review my first visit because I like to wait until the second or third visit when it comes to stylists, I takes me a while to feel comfortable with a stylist because the talents can be all over the map. I used to go to Steph at Floyds but since Covid she has left the industry and I waited to find a new barber. Hilary came highly recommended from a customer of mine and have to say she did not disappoint. Professional, efficient, a pleasure to be around and my lord is she good. Thanks!!!!! and I will see you again soon.

Mercantile Dining and Provision is a multifaceted space in Denver Union Station, offering a New American eatery, wine library, artisanal market, and barista bar. Founded by acclaimed chef Alex Seidel, the establishment boasts an impressive array of culinary offerings. The venue features a diverse range of dining experiences including a chef's counter, two patios, and an enviable wine library.
Loved this place. Food was fantastic- loved the eggplant, the octopus was tender, the endive salad was delish. I did not love the risotto - I found the corn added too much sweetness. (I have less sweet and salt tolerance than the average person). The bread basket of Hawaiian buns was also perfect! Warm with a thin shiny coating of butter. Servers were knowledgeable, they can even compile a menu for you if you won’t want to think too much about it. Space and ambiance were peaceful, beautiful lighting abound from the tall ceilings. The furniture generally looked like natural materials. Accessible from both inside and outside union station. Michelin mention for the year!
Lili G — Google review
We were here for the happy hour while in Denver one afternoon. It’s located inside Union station. We sat at the bar and got the Mercantile High-five, a couple non alcoholic beet mocktails along with the peach and arugula salad. Everything was delicious! Our server was wonderful. Their menu options for food is quite good. Will definitely stop by when in the vicinity the next time around.
Raina O — Google review
Mercantile is exactly the kind of place that turns a simple dinner into a night out. We visited for date night and left already planning our next visit. The menu is on the smaller side, but every dish feels dialed-in and seasonal - true “quality over quantity.” The standout was the Sakura Pork Chop: perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, and paired with thoughtful sides. Do not skip the warm bread service with cultured butter, it’s the kind of simple luxury that sets the tone for the meal. What really made the evening, though, was the team. Everyone we met was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun to chat with. You can tell this is a chef-driven restaurant that cares about its ingredients and its guests. A bit of background: Mercantile lives inside the beautifully restored Union Station and blends a restaurant with a European-style market - a nod to its roots in celebrating Colorado producers and seasonal cooking. Whether you’re planning a cozy date night or grabbing a quick, high quality meal downtown, Mercantile delivers. Bonus: being in Union Station means plenty to explore before or after dinner. Highly recommend. What we loved: Sakura Pork Chop, bread service + cultured butter, attentive staff, Union Station vibe Tip: Make a reservation if you’re timing it around trains/events; ask the staff for pairing suggestions…they’re spot on.

I visited during lunch time on a weekday to take a customer out to lunch. As it was a business meal I was looking for a place where a conversation is possible, food is good, ambiance is nice, and service leaves nothing to desire. I am glad I landed on Mercantile. First off, the ambiance is perfect for a business meal. It’s not too crowded or loud and it’s nice and airy. There’s also outside and inside seating. Food was great. I liked the 2 course lunch options a lot. I opted for the poke and strawberry salad. They were both very well-prepared and without it being heavy. The salad had just the right amount of dressing and the poke had great proportions. I highly recommend bringing your customer, or whoever, to Mercantile for a nice lunch. I’ll definitely be back.

Where do ya start? This place was top notch. Tried the lunch prefix menu That comes with a starter and an entree for $35... Tried the autumn brussels and the broccoli caesar. Both did not miss. Perfect amounts of acidity on the brussels! Main course did the millers chicken and the kewpie burger. The dessert... Now that alone is worth coming for by itself. Churro bread pudding. Insane meal over all, service was amazing as well.
Dan M — Google review
For an unparalleled dining experience in Denver, look no further than Mercantile inside Union Station. Their service is impeccable, and the food is simply outstanding. I've never had a mushroom dish that blew my mind quite like theirs did. And the pork chop and duck? To die for! I'm already counting down the days until I can go back.

The wife and I were celebrating 21st wedding anniversary. We sat at the counter and had 4 courses served by the manager. The GM popped by to say hi as well. I was very impressed, black cod was incredible, gnocchi fluffy as a cloud. We did order the wine pairing and that was a great compliment. Incredibly professional kitchen. A+

Tavernetta is an upscale Italian restaurant located at the Kimpton Hotel Born, brought to life by the acclaimed team behind Frasca Food and Wine. The restaurant offers a buzzing atmosphere with an open kitchen and a fireplace lounge, creating a romantic and lively ambiance. The menu features a wide range of Italian dishes including salumi, cheese, seafood, meat-focused entrees, and an impressive selection of pastas.
I can’t express enough how fantastic this meal was. We traveled to Denver to celebrate our best friend’s bachelorette party. I wrote to them letting them know that we were celebrating and they made sure to make things special for us. Upon our arrival, they greeted us with a complimentary glass of Rosé. They seated us at a table near the fire place which so was cute and created the best ambiance. Our waiter Joe was excellent! He was so knowledgeable and made excellent suggestions for our meal. Everyone was so professional. We loved how they would give everyone their meals at exactly the same time. As a group we loved the zucchini flowers, focaccia bread, burrata, the rigatoni and the tagliatelle. If we ever come back to Denver we will 100% return. Thank you for giving us such a lovely experience for our final dinner in Denver!
Reema K — Google review
Nice spot in downtown Denver, but the entrance was a bit hard to find. The place looks great, service was just okay. Food was good, but portions were small for the high price — we spent around $200 for two. Good wine selection, but also overpriced. It was my birthday and I mentioned it right at the beginning, expecting the usual birthday treat. At the end, the server asked if we wanted dessert like it was any normal day. I had to remind him again it was my birthday — only then he brought something. Other tables were getting candles and attention without asking, so that felt off. Overall, not a bad experience, but definitely not worth the price. There are better Italian places in Denver with bigger portions and better service. I don’t think I’d go back.

A perfect experience. This is where I chose to spend my birthday while visiting my old Colorado stomping ground. If Bobby Stuckey is involved, you know the bar will be set high. Every sip and every bite were a mouthwatering experience. The wagyu beef pasta was definitely my favorite dish and it was eaten so quickly we forgot to get a picture. I would highly suggest dining here if you appreciate high quality food escapades.

Enjoyed the happy hour menu! Lots of great food and drink options! If you like a good old fashioned, you won’t be disappointed! Also enjoyed the extensive wine list to pair with our meal! We went with the pasta flight, delicious! Relaxing atmosphere and the service was amazing. For dessert we had the tiramisu and honey gelato! I will definitely be coming back to try out the full dinner menu! 10/10!

First of all, service is beyond your expectations. Awesome service. One of the best Negronis 10/10 tbh, they have a great happy our, the best prosciutto ever 10/10 so fresh and tasty. The Gorgonzola with honey is my favorite 10/10, olives are not bad at all 7/10 and focaccia it’s good 7/10
Monica C — Google review
Been wanting to go here for years and finally went last night! We were most excited for the pasta flight (only available during happy hour - daily from 3-6pm)! We also go the focaccia, definitely add the burrata so you can enjoy those together. My husband is an Old Fashioned snob and his was 10/10. I tried their spirit free “Early for the Train” which I enjoyed and love when a restaurant offers N/A. The dessert oddly enough ended up being our favorite part. The tiramisu and Colorado honey gelato were both INCREDIBLE. Great service!!
Katie S — Google review
Overall, had a good time here & enjoyed the food, but for the price (about $150 pp including drinks) we found we’ve had far better Italian for the price in the Denver area. Would say Restaurant Olivia is comparable in price and the food is better there. For Tavernetta, did love the focaccia starter, lamb ragu pasta, and the tiramisu which had sea salt flecks on it really elevated the dessert. Unfortunately I had food allergies and talked about them with the server and she confirmed the type of allergy was very obvious on the menu but when we the fish course came it had sesame seeds on top and I couldn’t eat it.

Restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant RiNo district, Hop Alley is a trendy Chinese eatery that redefines traditional dining with its innovative shared plates and an impressive selection of craft beers, ciders, and cocktails. The menu showcases a delightful mix of modern twists on classic dishes—think lobster dumplings alongside La Zi Ji, which features crispy chicken thigh pieces tossed in spicy Sichuan chili. Even familiar favorites like fried rice are elevated with unexpected ingredients such as bone broth for added depth of flavor.
Had the pleasure of dining at Hop Alley this evening for my boyfriend’s birthday . We had reservations at the bar, which was tucked away in its own quaint little room. Upon being seated we were greeted by our server/ bartender who guided us through the menu. We ended up ordering the duck roll, tofu, dumplings, & shrimp toast. Each dish was complex in flavors and uniquely delicious. I wish I caught the name of our server at the bar as he was one of the more attentive & knowledgeable servers we’ve had in a long time. At one point my boyfriend dropped his chopsticks, and within seconds a new set was dropped near us. Our waters were never even close to empty. We both worked in fine dining for a long time and have visited many Michelin star restaurants from the Midwest to the west coast and we were blown away by the whole experience. We ended the meal with the peaches and cream ice cream, a perfect end to a fantastic meal! As new residents of the Denver area we are excited to come back!

Had a great anniversary dinner here. Service was excellent, the welcome glass of bubbly was a great touch, and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The food was really excellent, though I was anticipating it would be much spicier than from the reviews. It was really great overall. Dinner was a little shorter than we might have wanted. It was great that the food came out so fast, but also we had drinks, dinner, and dessert in 45 minutes. There was also a large party next to us, maybe 12ish and they were really loud, sort of decreasing the atmosphere a bit.

This is easily one of the best restaurants in Denver! The food was absolutely delicious and felt genuinely authentic. The service was outstanding. Our server was incredibly polite and thoughtful, especially when it came to our dietary preferences. For appetizers, we tried the lion’s mane mushroom dish and the shrimp toast. Both were excellent, but I highly recommend the mushroom dish—it was a standout. For entrées, the mushroom fried rice and Singapore noodles were both full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Don’t miss out on their Old Fashioned cocktail either, it was delicious!

Growing up, my family ran a Chinese American restaurant in Denver called Red Coral. For the longest time, I did not think I would ever find a place that could rival my childhood favorite dish there- pepper chicken. This morning as I heated up my left over La Zi Ji, I smelled the dish I haven’t had in ages. While this dish is the spicier and sassier sister to the pepper chicken, the breading, texture, and deliciousness brought me much joy. Looking forward to coming back another time, grateful my friend took me here for my birthday!

What a fantastic experience! We were a party of six with a child in a wagon that was gtube dependent. We were seated at a great table not off in a dark corner which is what usually happens when they see a child that could be loud (he wasn’t). We got a wide variety of items to try and share. Each dish that came was even better than the last. My taste buds were over whelmed. High recommend!
Rachel K — Google review
Overall food was great! The dumplings were spicier than they needed to be and the au jus was a bit too salty. Other than that everything was great! The duck wrap was definitely the highlight! Overall the cocktails were good but several were pre mixed, which felt … tacky (not sure that’s the right word) for a nicer restaurant like this.
