Managed to find some on street parking not far from the resturant which was a bonus. We went into the place at opening and it was peacefully quiet. We stepped in through the front door and the hustle and bustle of the street disappeared. We received a warm welcome and were shown to our table. The presentation was really good, food was hot and they all arrived at the same time. The only downside on mine (the Croque) was it was very spicy. The pepper sauce was very strong. I tried to tame it with some mayo but it didn’t do a lot so I left a fair bit of it after eating what I could. When we go back I know not to have this now which is a shame. All the ingredients are things I like but it was too spicy for me. The waffle burger was tasty, the waffle fluffy and complements the burger well. The mussels were hot, the sauce was good, strong in flavour and not watery which is easily done. Parmesan fries were really nice! A welcome change from normal chips.
