Best steakhouse in Reno. The service was absolutely amazing, the best service we’ve ever had. Food was timed perfectly and you get so much more for your money here. If you want to go out for a nice evening and impress your guests, this is the place to go.

Well they forgot our coffee cake at the end and the scallops came out barely warm but it otherwise good. We asked to pay but bill was given to my brother. For $800 nothing should have been forgotten. Server was friendly and for the most part great, but a strong finish would have been good for the price. The rooms are clean. Connor, behind the check in desk was awesome. Very helpful. You're not really greeted as you walk in or walk up to the concierge desk unless you're a high roller.
They have very few spots for disability parking.
The prices of food was outrageous. We spent $40 on 2 coffees and a breakfast sandwich. That being said, the espresso was fantastic. I guess gone are the days of adorable food to keep people from wanting to leave the resort.
We were on a non smoking floor in a non smoking room and it still reeked of cigarettes. As an asthmatic, it was bothersome. We still enjoyed our stay. The beds and pillows are really comfy.

My first stay at the Peppermill was a really pleasant experience. I actually got upgraded because the room I originally booked wasn’t available — total Jerry Seinfeld moment (if you know, you know).
The room itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The king bed was great, and the pillows had just the right amount of support. But the real highlight was the bathroom, especially the steam shower, which was amazing after a long day.

We really just went in to gamble and hang out for awhile and we were truly surprised by how nice this place was compared to some of the other spots in town. Clean, modern, friendly. It was a little bit smokey compared to most Las Vegas casinos but not enough to say I wouldn’t hang out a day or two here. The video screens all over were a real nice addition and help add more depth to the place. The selfie screen was fun. For a lunch sandwich you can’t go wrong with the sports deli. It’s pricey but they’re so large order appropriately and it becomes very reasonable. See photos. Small feeds two and large could feed 4 if you want to have room for dinner unless you’re just starving.

I had the best stay at the Peppermill. We were originally assigned to a different room that we didn’t like, so we asked the front desk if we could switch to a room with a view. The staff is abundantly friendly, helpful and patient.
Amenities and restaurants are great, leaves you wanting for nothing more, we generally don't explore Reno, the resort has everything we need.
If you're a gambler, there's a large selection and quantity of each variation of classic gambling available. The dealers are fantastic, very kind and helpful. Please gamble responsibly!
Tuscany and Peppermill towers have good rooms.
The west/north towers are not updated, but very very cheap. For us, it's worth it to spend a little extra for better rooms.

Customer service at its best! They really try to accommodate special requests compared to other hotels. They seem more compassionate in my opinion. Indoor pool is great! Love the buffet. However, we did not like the food at the fun center and the employees show the complete opposite of the test of the hotel. I would give that place 0 stars if I could. I had to leave on short notice and was running out of the door to catch the airport shuttle and it left without me. I had my first stay at the Atlantis and LOVED it! The shuttle drivers were great and from the moment I walked in everything went smoothly. The receptions was welcoming, quick, and competent. I stayed in the concierge tower and was so impressed with the room and the view. I loved the pillow menu, and having the concierge lounge was such a treat. Service was fantastic especially Logan and Merwyn at the Sports Bar. The pool and hot tub were excellent. We had excellent meals at the Steakhouse, Sushi, and Bistro Napa with fantastic service. The location could be considered a plus or a minus. It is about 5 minutes to get to the airport, which is convenient, but if you are looking to get out and explore DT Reno (which I recommend), you would need to drive. Overall, we really loved our experience and I look forward to going back!

We had a 1 night stay at Reno for the weekend. I chooses Nugget Casino Resort because of their nightly Rate which was very good. It is not located in downtown Reno but it is an easy drive, other closest hotel is the Grand Sierra Resort. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a chance to check out the whole hotel as our stay was brief. Check-in was good, front desk was helpful. Room were OK does seem a little outdated, bathroom OK, very simple and minimalistic. Did the job for the 1 night. We were at the Resort Tower. If you are looking for extravagant perhaps go elsewhere. Restaurant did not get a chance to use. I did use the pool in the early morning and I sure enjoyed it indoor heated with open windows. Pool is also outdated but it was great and relaxing. We went to the MAGIQUE show and that was awesome, right in the hotel -recommended it.

There's a nice variety of options (though compared to come buffets, is lacking slightly in the Asian department). My mom researched the area for a great buffet before we arrived to Reno, and was told this is the best buffet spot in Reno where she made a reservation. Upon arrival, the lines were extremely long, but they had sections for walk-ins and for people who made reservations. They have seafoods, a carving station that includes prime rib, ham, roasted chicken, fried chicken that is bone in, a far east section that consists of dim sum, American Chinese dishes such as wok tossed mixed vegetables, broccoli chicken, fried rice, stir fried noodles and other delicious options. Next to it is their Mongolian Grill where you pick out the items and sauces of your choice and a cook will prepare it on a grill for you. After that would be their noodle station, the prep person will ask what ingredients you want and they will cook it right in front of you. They also have a Spanish section which includes tacos, quesadillas, salsas and some traditional Mexican dishes like carnitas, chile verde, tamales and much more. Fruits and salads are also a option along with a variety of soups to choose from. Lastly they have their dessert isle that is made up of a ice cream section where a staff will scoop it for you, pastries, and other delicious sweet treats for anyone with a sweet tooth. The food was okay and the service was great thanks to their very welcoming, well trained and understanding staffs were it made our visit a satisfying one. They have discounts for children, military, anyone over the age of fifty five and to any Monarch rewards members, higher the tier the cheaper the price. I highly recommend this place to anyone that loves to eat, to anyone looking to try something new, if you are looking for a decent buffet to dine at or if you just so happen to be in the area. I will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.

We haven’t been to La Strada since 2021 (when we went on back to back nights while in town because it was so good). After returning 4 years later for our anniversary, you imagine the anticipation this meal had to live up to! I had the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, and my husband had the Chicken Parm- both FANTASTIC. I swear the noodles and sauce must be homemade, I normally prefer angel hair to thick fettuccini, but La Strada’s version was unlike any other I’ve had, spongey and truly tasty, it held its own! Most noodles have no flavor and rely on the sauce. Speaking of the sauce- they could serve it as a soup, it was THAT perfect. Everything was the perfect temperature the moment it came out, and they brought us an absolutely wonderful Tiramisu to celebrate our anniversary at the end- this dessert could end wars. The garlic bread at the beginning?? FORGET ABOUT IT. The Salad was wonderful as well, but it can’t compare when these other pieces of the meal the absolute best respectively, we’ve had! Lia was sweet and prompt, her assistant also made sure our drinks never made it more that halfway down before being topped off. The hostess was friendly, literally everyone we met provided top tier service- I would’ve thought I was at a Sandal’s resort! (IYKYK). We return to Texas tomorrow and will be dreaming of La Strada until we meet again someday! Literally the only possible note I could give is that it’s a little loud if you struggle with sensory issues, but so are most restaurants. I have to say with all the buzz and the prices I thought it would be much better. The food is what I was disappointed in the most, very bland with not much flavor. The fried rice was just ok, not great and the vegetables were barely cooked, very raw like. I've always wanted to experience a Chef Ramsay restaurant and this completely lived up to my expectations. First off being able to get in a party of 5 without a reservation ( even though it was a Tuesday), was insane. The restaurant is open, and right on the main walkway of the row, but once seated felt intimate, and I quickly forgot we were in a casino. The decor is simple and modern with minimal lighting giving that steakhouse vibe. The service was great. Our server was the perfect mix of there and not, if you catch my meaning.
They have special cocktails of course but I opted for the tableside old fashioned cart. Was definitely the best I've ever had. They also have a solid wine list.
The food was outstanding, the exception being my dad's butter poached lobster. It tasted like it was frozen which I would doubt as the oysters were got were super fresh. Also for being poached in butter was completely flavorless. The couscous it came on was great, but didn't pair well with the lobster. That said, everything else was fabulous! I had to try the Wellington and it's easy to see why it's one of the Chef's signature dishes. We tried multiple apps and desserts as well and they were all great. The parker rolls are a must!
A very good dining experience I'd recommend!

I opted for the early dinner which gets you the Filet Mignon, Cesar Salad, and sticky toffee pudding all for $60. Upon arrival, I used the fast check-in seamlessly and went to my room. This was clean and well presented. Throughout my 2 week stay my room was cleaned daily, always to a high standard.

By far the best casino buffet in the Reno area. It starts with as soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by Samantha and her concierge-cashier team. They make the transaction super easy and friendly. The GM Vasco, who showed true leadership on the floor, greeted me and made us all feel welcomed, we were seated in their incredible comfortable dining room and were treated like we were family.
The food was absolutely delicious and the presentation is amazing and reasonably priced. Each food station had its unique theme- menu and you could just feel the sense of pride that everyone who worked there carried as they made there unique food items for you. We were seated promptly, and while the restaurant was quite busy, we understood there might be a short delay for drinks. This is a somewhat difficult to get to restaurant with amazing food and great service. I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly crunchy on the outside and buttery on the inside. The brussel sprouts were roasted perfectly though I was hoping more of them would be cut up they did not cut the butts off of the end and I only had a butter knife which made it impossible.

UPDATE: I was just here for a quick lunch and they had a Patty Melt on special that day. Tho it wasn't made with rye bread as is a "REAL" patty melt, they did do well with sourdough bread. Casual elegance is what I'd characterize The Grill at Quail Corners. There is a full bar as well as a great Happy Hour. The full menu is quite extensive and starts at Lunch at 11am thru Happy hour 4-6pm and dinner till closing.
We started with the happy hour available only at the bar or lounge high-top tables. I had the fried Calamari for just $6.00 and it was just about the best fried calamari dish I ever had! The scampi for $8.00 was very tasty and I could of just drank the sauce! Next were the steamed clams. The sauce was not as buttery as last time, but had more of an herbs flavor. I just love the house made bread served with unsalted butter. The happy hour wine was very good for the price, I had 4! Good thing I wasn't driving.
The service was very professional and friendly, even through a mask! I'll look forward to coming here again real soon!
We just got back from another visit. This time we went for the small plates of the NY steak served over duck fat fries topped with an Argentinian Chimichurri sauce. ($16) It looked like pesto, but didn't taste anything like that. It was one of the most delicious things I've had here, order this! Normally, I would rate this a bit better because I've been to this place a few times. I don't care for the lunches or dinners there but I do typically enjoy the waffles. This time, my husband and I sat waiting for over 30 minutes for a waffle and an order of hash browns. By the time our food got to us, both items were freezing cold. 2 different wait staff came to us. One took my plate to heat it up. The other said they'd bring another waffle and walked away before I could say the other person handled it. I'm assuming the staff didn't talk to each other because out comes my original waffle, nice and warm and about 5 minutes after I got the food, here comes another beautifully done waffle. I felt bad for the staff because it was busy in there and a holiday. But no matter how busy, please check in with guests. Food is cold and coffee cups empty most of the time we were there. While waiting for food, no one came to let us know sorry for the delay or whatever. I'll still go back because as I said earlier, I do enjoy the waffles and sausage, when they're properly done.

Vegetables were definitely frozen in a bag and heated in boiling water, god awful. Checked in this afternoon; pretty impressed so far. Right off of freeway, helpful and courteous staff, great room at 1/2 the price of signature properties. Decent size casino, won some $/bets.
Bathroom is good size, not cramped. Not much counter area but ironing board placed outside bathroom door works fine. Large roomy shower with great water pressure and hot water immediately; multi stream adjustable shower head.
Room is very large, mini fridge also. We asked for a microwave in the room at check in and it was there when we opened the room door.

I recently stayed here for 2 nights in a double queen room. The room was fairly nice considering the age of the property. The bathroom was on the small side with very little counter space for toiletries, but the AC worked well. The casino is much smaller than the Peppermill (its sister property where we usually stay), but they did have a great variety of slot machines, which we enjoyed. We'll definitely come back. It's really hard to get Handicapped parking here due to non handicapped people using someone placard and I found out why. I had dinner and lunch twice and they were so good. Service people are great and maybe next time, I'll try the slots. I haven't tried the Steakhouse yet but am very determined to see how this goes. I should have read the reviews in regards to the rooms. When I booked online the ratings were a 4 (booking.com) My thinking, as typical ratings are 1- 5, thought this was a decent hotel (based off that line of thinking) However, it was a 1-10 star rating and I did not catch that. Totally my bad. Any of the staff I interacted with were very nice. My rating has nothing to do with them. Upon arrival, I immediately thought I had the wrong address because the photos did not match the current appearance. It was a lot more grungy and dirty with an off vibe about the place. I did not feel safe getting out of my car alone. There were a lot of homeless people roaming the property and the smell of marijuana was overwhelming. I knew immediately I should have canceled but felt guilty about already paying and didn’t want to waste money. As soon as I checked in, I went straight to my room. The intense smell urine filled the room. I immediately asked for another room which they accommodated. *thank you* I got to my room and it smelled better. However, my white bed had staining on the sheets and this room appeared to have black “staining” along the ceiling edges. (It looked to be mold to me) this hotel was in no way held to a standard of cleanliness. I looked for every reason to stay. But when it came down to me wanting to shower and go to sleep I don’t think I could have stomached it and truly felt clean or really safe through the night. In the midst of me contemplating staying or going, I heard people screaming outside, people running down the hallways. This was around midnight. After 1 hour of being there I checked out. All these factors forced me to leave. I felt bad after changing rooms but honestly I wasn’t able to stomach being there.

The reception attendant Deanna was friendly and helpful. She allowed me an early arrival for an additional $25 charge which i happily paid after driving 5 hrs arriving at noon. The poorly purified air in the lobby and hallways a mixture of stale smoke and age... As we all know most Hotels pay dearly for that corporate air freshener scent that signifys their Brand...

Never stayed here before nor do I know much about Reno. What I saw online was very different from what I saw in person. This is not worth the money I paid. It’s too bad I can’t get a refund. The surround area has trash flying around. Suspicious people hangout. The elevator makes me feel like I would be trapped. Just not a safe, comfortable place or feeling. Also, just take the feedback and make the changes needed to make this place a more welcoming environment which includes replacing the carpets, drapes, better lighting in parking lot, get rid of the homeless in the area and all the other things that were mentioned in many of the reviews from others.
I will not be coming back to this hotel and that is one guest lost. Add up all the guest that will not be staying it again and maybe that will motivate whomever owns this hotel to make the changes.
