The only ww1 battlefield in Britain, the site of the first death by enemy fire, with pictures from 1914 of the damage done to Hartlepool makes this museum a truly special visit. This was my first ever visit with him and I won't visit again purely because I feel he's too old for the experience. It's more catered for younger children / toddlers, and he's just started primary school, so it is a little too advanced for this type of setting. (This may not be the case for every 4 year old though). He got to meet Bluey - as part of the party ticket. However, I was slightly disappointed that there were no food or drinks included for the price of the ticket (£10). These had to be purchased separately. Setting is quite small. The staff are friendly and welcoming, each play area and toys inside are suitable for children of them ages my daughter has lots of fun traversing from area to area inside.
