We travel full time and always stop at Visitor Centers first and get great advice on where to go, eat, etc. I have to say, the lady working today was the absolute most unfriendly person we've ever encountered across the country at the hundreds of VCs we've visited. She ignored us and when we asked questions she seemed annoyed and only answered as bluntly as possible. We were stunned. My last question was suggestions on where she recommended eating. She handed me a printed piece of paper with all the restaurants listed on it with their hours. We have Google, we asked for a recommendation, not a print out. She is the absolute last person I would ever put as the face of Stowe. She needs to be working in the back and definitely not interfacing with the public. This is typically an extremely outgoing, enthusiastic and welcoming person's position. She was none of those things. So disappointed and we are hoping this isn't the norm for this lovely small town.
