Your "Dark Canyon" which is supposed to be a French Roast is the worst French roast I have ever drank. Your description on the bag that it has a "tobacco flavor" is accurate. Even the cheap "8 O'clock" French roast they sell at City Market tastes better than the Dark Canyon. I have tried to like it - to develop a taste for it but if that's what is being served at work or at a bakery I go somewhere else for my coffee. One office that I visit frequently actually has that particular flavor on their coffee clubs list of coffees to please avoid as nobody but the cigarette smokers like it.
