Glad I did… it was phenomenal. The rice was delicious, ordered the Singapore Fried Rice, the meat was lovely, big cuts of NON processed char su. The meat tasted really fresh which is unusual for a Chinese. The rice was fluffy, the veg still had crunch, the satay sauce didn’t develop the traditional microwaved skin that most takeaways supply. The veg spring rolls were crispy and the prawn crackers were fresh and crispy. Asked for chopsticks and they kindly supplied at no extra charge, and they were the environmentally friendly bamboo variety. I’ve worked in food my entire adult life and it’s hard to get anything less than a 5 star, nor is there any excuse to get less than a 5 star. However that being said, we all have bad days and in my opinion they got really really unlucky because their food is exceptional and easily the best Chinese food I’ve had. We rang and booked in the next day, and wow we weren't disappointed. We had a selection of 6 tapas dishes to share between 2 of us and the dishes were amazing! The spring roll starter was pretty much empty of contents and the smallest I've ever seen, and the taste was awful. The BBQ spare ribs had a tainted taste, almost chemical-like.
