It is an old orthodox church that is now used as a cultural center. It has an interesting architecture and there is a beautiful yard around. If you walk around the church, you can spot on the walls old signs in greek and even remainimg symbols.

The manager there doesn't like music. I'm sure he canceled maybe 20 concerts because his head is swelling.Someone who has nothing to do with music and doesn't like music is the problem. While playing the piano, he said my head was swollen and silenced me! A soda bottle was thrown into the crowd from the outside to the church during the concert from one of the houses around it. I went in October 2025. The ticket costed €6. Overall, if you don’t have time to travel all the way to Ephesus (Efes) and pay €40 there (for foreigners), I think Agora is a good option. They closed a big part of the site. On the day I came, there were groups of people meditating and practicing some preaching/debate. Still a nice sight to see.

There is an art and photo gallery of “Ara Guler” who is super famous turkish photographer in the world! You can visit until June 2020 and there is no charging! Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport’s domestic terminal is modern, clean, and easy to navigate. It’s not too big, so getting through security and to your gate is usually quick and hassle-free. Didn’t have to wait too long for my luggage either when I got here via my domestic flight. There are a decent number of cafés and shops, though food options can be a bit limited compared to larger airports. Seating is comfortable, and there are charging points available, making it a good place to wait for your flight. Overall, it’s a well-organized airport with a smooth travel experience, especially for domestic flights.

It is a quiet and clean airport, with very relaxed vibes here. Not crowded when we were there. We flew in from Istanbul to catch a train to Selcuk. TCDD train station is just across the road from the exit and you need to cross the bridge to get there. There are a few options for car rental at the airport as well. Luggage collection for domestic flights on the ground floor, took a while for the luggage to be ready at the carousel.
