Especially rewarding for those who are fans of the work and humor of Charles Schulz and the characters he created.

If you are in Santa Rosa and would like to be nostalgic, please visit the Charles M. Schulz Museum. There was over 200 cartoons to read, sculptures to take selfies with, and lots to learn. They even had cartoon strips as tiles in the bathroom, which was quite creative. There were interactive areas, such as a photo “booth” where you can be Lucy the psychiatrist and spin the wheel. Once you have laughed, chuckled, and snickered as much as you want. Stop by the gift shop and grab a postcard, pen or pencil, a cup, books, and much more. Enjoy 💕 No food or drinks. There are stairs to the second floor. Children are more than welcome.

This is a gorgeous museum, very well thought out and laid out for the maximum display of the history and passion of Charles Schulz. His creation of the Peanuts comic strip is such a great story and the museum tells it perfectly. There are some interactive exhibits, a lot of memorabilia, colorful displays and several videos running to tell his story. When going through the museum, there's an area with glass display cases and drawers underneath them that are all labeled, make sure you look in those, there's a ton of information and history. Upstairs is a studio for you to create your own comic strip, they have guest artists regularly, a giant gift shop full of Peanuts souvenirs and even a cute cafe. The tour is self guided and you can take as much time as you like. We're from the older generation so the Peanuts comic strip is super relevant for us and we ended up there a couple hours reading nearly everything! Upstairs in the gift shop is where the original museum is located and there's some fun history up there too.

A lovely experience for any peanuts, snoopy, or small museum lover! Showing just a few photos- this place was so charming. Lots of history, OG peanuts art and of course, photo opportunities! The museum staff are so lovely, and gifted me a bracelet. Would definitely come back again next time I'm in Cali!

This was an unexpected highlight of our trip! I honestly didn’t know a ton about Peanuts and went because my college age daughter wanted to go. It is such a well put together and loving tribute to a man that Santa Rosa clearly loved. A big, modern building with bright, vibrant displays. Worth a visit on your way through, great way to spend a couple hours!

08/02/25 This was our second time visiting the Charles M. Schulz Museum, and we loved it just as much as the first! There’s something really amazing about being surrounded by all the Peanuts art (regardless of it’s a copy or the original) and seeing the backstory on all Schulz’s characters. Overall, the Charles M. Schulz Museum and Research Center is fun, relaxing, and full of little details that make you smile. We’re glad we visited a second time and would definitely visit again! 🐶 🐾

It was so nostalgic being here. You get to learn a lot about Charles Schulz and his other interests besides comics. It was cool to see the books in other languages! I visited on a Monday when the museum opened at 11 AM and there were already a good amount of people there. It’s only $7 for ticket if you’re a student! So make sure to bring your student ID. The cafe and ice rink are right by the museum and are also a must-see.

Gardens were nice, but nothing worth making a special trip for. The house was unimpressive. Maybe if we'd gone inside and taken a tour, we'd feel different. We have something similar in our own town, that's maybe even nicer, so it was pretty underwealming.

After taking a tour of the gardens and the home, it was clear to anyone why Luther Burbank was fascinated with plants. There were many flowers blossoming as well trees and bushes to be admired. The most lovely part of the area was the rose garden located in the front. I recommend taking the time to dress up because it is worth taking pictures here. Entry to the gardens & the museum is free to the public. There are guided tours ($12, $10.00 students/seniors, under 12 free.) Although there is no parking lot, it was not difficult to find street parking.

I visited few times the Museum. Specially in Christmas. The atmosphere was very nice. People friendly and courtesy. Feeling back on time while inside. Took my cup of tea with homemade cookies that ladys did at shop and listen conversation. Thought was dreaming. Was an unforgettable experience. The flowers are beautiful just like the Museum and the people who take care of.

Once in your life you should visit and take the time to learn about the important work once done here. Horticulture has a lot of great minds and the Burbanks rank at the top. Take the house tour when it opens back up. Ask about Frida and Diego. I drop by most times that I'm in Santa Rosa. It's a beautiful garden with a beautiful park across the street. A lot of people come here to take wedding and quinceañera photos.

Luther Burbank it's the Tesla of modern botany - you need to custom in person to appreciate the magic

Mostly an outdoor display museum, which can be a bit warm in the summer. The hangar was currently off limits for renovation. Good thing is that you can get up close and personal with many of these aircrafts, especially on open cockpit day. I believe this place is run by volunteer docents.

Really loved going here. Such a gem in a small city. I think most people might not bother to come, but for the friendly staff and the amount of aircraft and their condition, this place is amazing. Went here with my family back in March, and I won’t lie I was so fascinated by all the aircraft history. I hope to come back here again. Preserving history like this, is not easy, and I’ll definitely donate to help keep this place alive.

It’s a decent aviation museum with not too many airplane displays. Besides, there's no intro or plane info, so you don’t know what you’re looking at unless you know your planes. The place is not organized since there was also a car show when I was there. The place could be a bit crowded that even taking pictures alone with the planes could be difficult. Planes are well-maintained, though. A friendly place for adults and kids.

My boys (5 and 10-years old) are HUGE airplane enthusiasts. I wanted to try something new as we have already been to the California Aerospace Museum, Castle Air Museum, and the Oakland Aviation Museum. I must say now that this is an awesome little place with a great collection of aircraft. The day we arrived there were actually only two staff on site: someone at the cashier's desk for the gift shop and another gentleman outside tending to the aircraft on display. Despite this, we had an amazing tour and the customer service was A+++. The volunteer who provided our tour (I can't remember his name at the moment) was so engaging and provided us with lots of aircraft history. We even had the opportunity to sit in the cockpit of one of the planes. We sincerely enjoyed ourselves. The Pacific Coast Air Museum is worth the trip!

Great Place with Excellent Volunteers! We went on a morning that was a little rainy, but not when we were there, so we had the whole place and knowledgeable volunteers to ourselves. Walked in not knowing much about planes, but left with more knowledge and a great appreciation. I just wish I could've thought of more questions for the volunteers that had all the answers. They also have a flight simulator that looked fun ($10 for 20 minutes), but no one on site could operate it, so we intended to return later that day, but didn't make it back. Mostly outdoors, but some impressive indoor displays too.

So happy to see them open again after the shutdown. The history is rich here, awesome experience. Mike was an excellent host. Will be back this summer for the 3rd Thursday of the month Hot Dog party!

Nice place to spend a few hours enjoying the planes, helicopters, and all the miniatures that exist inside the room. Very pleasant and friendly. You have a flight simulator so you want to train to fly. There is a shop where you can buy miniatures, T-shirts, caps, well handy.

Excellent mtb riding. Trails are getting dusty but still great traction. Get out early because it's June and the heat will kick in by noon

A great trail for beginners. Brought 4 kids with me and thoroughly enjoyed it. No fees and available parking at the base.

We had such an amazing hike here that I hesitate to talk about it. We have hiked all over California and the West, and were delighted to find this beautiful and serene place. There are miles of trails, some very rocky, so care is required going up and down. We saw quite a few mountain bikers, (mostly middle aged men) not the speed demons of Mt. Tamalpais. The park is utterly quiet, with gorgeous meadows and somber oak trees. I was sitting on a small boulder at one point and the thought came to me that I might be in heaven. Serendipity at its lovely best.

NO DOGS ALLOWED. Please be respectful of this for health of wildlife and ecosystem. Lovely hike through oak woodlands and a variety of wildflowers. So nice to see the tadpoles in the small pond. Various levels of difficulty of hiking, but definitely lots of uphill. Lots of exposure in the sun but some cover in the oak. Woodlands. No parking fee at Cobblestone trail.

This state park had incredible mountain bike trails! It was super awesome to ride. Would be even better if they had bathrooms with flushing toilets and running water, but otherwise a beautiful park to visit.

Great trails for hiking, biking or horseback riding. No dogs though. A mix of single track & fire gravel roads. Can be rocky. Mixed terrain w/ beautiful views, a lake, flowers, birds & creeks. Beware of the poisen oak! Simply, nature at it's best👍

Online parking pass was super easy. Water available at trail head and maps posted around the park and small printed ones available at trail head. The trails are well maintained though rocky and technical for mountain biking or trail running.

Amazing place to spend the day with your children! There were so many activities to enjoy for children’s of all ages. There was a “salta & pepper diner”, “nuts and bolts hardware store” a farmer’s market, and so many water activities, this place will keep your children entertained for hours and hours. And if you need an energy boost; there is a small coffee and tea stand to enjoy 💕

Toddler heaven! My 22 month old loved every corner, nook and cranny whether inside or outside! Perfect place to bring your toddler/s to get their energy out. They thought of everything a toddler could want to see, touch, and play! Went here on Friday and they had Musical Story-Telling in the morning. There's also a corner safe for 2.5yr olds and under. Super cute! Highly recommend!

The Children’s Museum in Santa Rosa is such a fun place for kids to explore, learn, and burn off energy. The outdoor area is amazing — plenty of space to run around and lots of creative play options. Inside, there are tons of interactive exhibits, though a few of the fun things were broken during our visit. It could also be a little cleaner, especially in the high-touch play areas. Still, the staff is friendly, and overall it’s a great spot for a family outing.

What a fun spot! We drive over 1.5 hours to come here about twice a year. This place has such a great atmosphere inside and outside. I love the new additions of the wooden nature playground in the front. This museum is wonderful for 1-7 years of age. I rated it lower because every time I’ve been here the bathrooms are horrible. Toilet paper everywhere, water all over the floors, and staff just sitting at the front desk not even monitoring. Most recently in July, a younger staff member in the art room seemed very unengaged. Often on bus phones and I had to actually interrupt him to get his attention 😅 what…. You’re working at a kids place that emphasizes exploration and creativity… get off your phone games. **there is coffee and a small pop up cafe on Fridays and saturdays**

Great children's museum to visit, if we lived in the area we would definitely get a membership, as the museum feels like a great spot for quick visits between naps. It is a smaller museum, but it is packed with things to see and do. The outdoor play areas were a huge hit, the water play area in particular. The aprons were much appreciated but we were still greatful to have a change of clothes in the car. The tractor and helicopter were very nicely done, and we appreciated all the areas for shade.

Nice historic place with a visitor center. Nearby by . Mostly old historical buildings and antique stores. It was pretty empty in the area there is the local cummute train stop behind the visitor center The visitors center has some souvenir s , but we couldn't find any new souvenir shops selling the Snoopy memobrailias.

Liz at the visitors center was incredibly knowledgeable and gave plenty of recommendations not only in Santa Rosa but in the area around!

Love the atmosphere the shops the restaurants.... Though since the shelter is close by and you're not familiar with the area there are transients around. But it's not as bad as other cities... Just a heads up for those that may be shocked.

We stayed in this area of downtown Santa Rosa for several nights and it was nice. Other than all the homeless/vagrants wandering around, the restaurants, shops, and café were nice. Definitely worth visiting when in the area.

Place is clean and safe. It could be lil more historic tho. Still we took amazing photos and enjoyed very much our visit!

Beautiful decor! Terrific service, great wine and they had a Classical Guitarist. So relaxing!

We ended up on the boat ramp side at the ramp. No restrooms over there. We did paddle boarding. The lake was super glassy and calm. No waves and nearly no other folks on the water on a Thursday morning. However, the water is just full of algae. Not enough to grab your paddle or the fin on your board, but it is just all over. The lake is small; we went very slowly and looked at all the scenery and it only took an hour to circumnavigate the whole thing. We saw fish (big carp and small bass), river otters, a turtle, several types of birds, etc. It is a very pretty area. If we were to go again, it would be at the other entrance where the lagoon and rentals are. Rating is for the boat ramp entrance.

This park pretty much has something for everyone. From hikers, cyclists, runners, boaters, fishers, birders, swimmers, families with kids, and dog walkers, this is a great place to visit. With so much to offer, the only real downside is how crowded it can get. The county park is kind of sandwiched between a city park to the west, and a state park to the east. So, particularly for hikers and cyclists you can extend your activities into those parks for a longer trip. And there's also a campground for those who want to enjoy a multi-day visit. Bathrooms and water fountains can be found around the park. The main trails are paved. But there are also a number of dirt trails to explore. And the seasonal swimming lagoon is a big draw during the hot summer months.

I love coming here with my partner and my dog to walk the spring Lake loop. It’s a great activity to do after a long day of work when it starts to cool off and you can just go and enjoy some nature and be around some people that are also being active. Lots of blackberry bushes so when it’s that time of the year, be sure to bring a little Tupperware to collect some blackberries! Happy trails!

The park is beautiful and well-maintained, just a 2-hour drive from us. The ranger at the entrance gave us a warm welcome, and the campsites were pleasant with plenty of shade in most areas. Our restroom was clean and even had hot water. Showers work with coins, so it’s best to bring quarters. I especially enjoyed walking around the park—it’s such a peaceful place. If I lived nearby, this would definitely be my go-to spot for an afternoon walk.

This was a great little get away for me and kids since its just close to home. The abundance of lifeguards was great as well. Never felt safer as the guards were very diligent in their duties. Highly recommend.

The best summer Waterpark. Worth buying a season parking pass if you use it more than a few times. You can walk there from Howart Park, which is run by The city of Santa Rosa. Also they have overnight camping, clean rest rooms.

Love going to the Spring Lake water park! It's open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. This is the perfect place for parents to relax while the kids burn off energy. Lots of picnic tables & shade around the lagoon. Make sure to bring folding chairs. The restrooms have showers, too!

Small interesting museum space located in a former U.S. Postal Office building. A good museum to stop. I visited the Museum of Sonoma County and was pleasantly surprised by its charming exhibits. The blend of art and history offered a great insight into the region's culture. It’s a cozy spot that’s definitely worth a visit.

Small with one exhibit area under development. Main exhibit in the art museum was about low rider culture. Separate building next door for history (admission covers both) has nice coverage of local history from indigenous peoples through the 20th century.

The museum including 2 main building the classic old and modern building, classic one in 2 floors including precious painting from over 100 years ago to the more current items on upstairs. There’re also a lot of informative equipments like touch screens and audio systems which explain the county history and story of immigrants and population. There is an exhibition of wooden art works in the next building too which is valuable, take a look at my pictures, please.

I highly recommend that you also make a plan to come visit this special place. It is one of those places that it is very important to look back and see where things are now and foresee the future in our community, our place of worship, a place to serve in service to others and a place to reside. A of place work , place to raise our children and a special place to live our lives and a place to leave it behind. Sonoma County is a beautiful place with vibrant people in its historical background. Come to visit it yourself!

This venue is very manageable for people with walkers and wheelchairs. The assortment of exhibits has held my interest in the 8 years that I've lived in Santa Rosa.

Enjoyed the Julia Childs exhibit and reading all of the correspondence between Julia and Paul. A great stop before dinner! What a wonderful life they lead.

An unexpected delight! We didnt know what to expect, so were surprised at how much we enjoyed our visit and learned about Jack London. Mom is in a wheelchair, which is not ideal for a comfortable visit, but younger families should plan to spend the full day walking and exploring. The museum and gift shop is wonderful with a lot of information packed in a small space. All those that work at the park that we interacted with were wonderfully educated on the subject and willing to share their knowledge. We can't wait to be back!

My friends and I made an impromptu stop and we're not disappointed. We followed their recommendation and hiked the trail to Jack London's grave and home. It was about 30mins each way, and lots of lovely scenery. You'll find some redwoods near his home.

Magical place to hike! Loop trails being you into wooded areas out of the sun whether easy or moderate. Walked beside the vineyard and among the Eucalyptus on soft needle trails and some fire roads and time stands still. London was a huge advocate of sustainable farming practices and since many dwellings (relics) still stand you can almost feel this working farm. ($10 entrance fee through Main Entrance)

We thought that this would be a short stop, but we ended up spending over two hours exploring! Such a cool park with well-integrated history and passionate volunteers. Both naturally beautiful and made us more curious about Jack London

Very nice grounds with easy walking trails. The museum is very informative with great exhibits. Enjoyable way to spend an afternoon for any history buff.

Learn another side of Jack London as a farmer. Well marked paths cover a variety of trails from easy to challenging. Plenty of portapotties. Ample parking. A short drive to Benzinger for wine or Ellen Glen for sandwiches as there isn’t much onsite.

We joined the club membership for several years and truly enjoyed the wine and food pairing every year we went to visit. Our last visit was Nov 20, 2024, the wine & food pairing is no longer complementary unless you are premier level or above.

Beautiful setting, relaxed atmosphere. The team accommodated us as a walk in even when they were fully booked. Very nice variety of wine with several we highly enjoyed. Luke and Zoey were so fun, knowledgeable, and accommodating, it really made the experience!

Incredible winery! It’s so peaceful, has beautiful scenery, some of the best wine in Sonoma, and our wine educator, Sherri, was fantastic! Seriously, she was a true wine connoisseur and loved sharing her passion with her guests. St. Francis Winery is a true 10/10 experience. If you’re going to Sonoma go to St. Francis Winery, it is truly the best in the region!

We visited St. Francis Winery in early September and were absolutely blown away by the atmosphere, service, and overall experience. My partner and I attended their wine and food pairing, and we both agreed it was truly one of the best meals of our lives. Every course was fresh, delicious, and so thoughtfully crafted to complement the wines— you could really taste the care and creativity that went into it. The setting was just as special. We were seated at our own table alongside about fifteen others in a beautiful dining room, which created this lovely balance of community and intimacy. It was fun hearing other guests’ stories while still enjoying a private, relaxed experience together. Many of the people around us were longtime members and spoke so highly of St. Francis — several even said it was their favorite winery after visiting countless others. Everything from start to finish felt exceptional — warm hospitality, stunning wines, and an atmosphere that made us feel genuinely welcomed. I haven’t stopped thinking about this place since we left. St. Francis Winery is an absolute must-visit!!!

Took the Trolley Tour. Our guide/driver delivered the "edutainment" experience we were hoping for. Thank you! Every wine we sampled was delicious and we learned a few new things to boot. Highly recommend this winery and this tour.

Highly enjoyed our wine tasting overlooking the estate’s beautiful grounds. We appreciated the knowledge of our wine educator who took us through the tasting. The timing of the tasting was perfect yet also felt very relaxed.

My wife and I saw Neil deGrasse Tyson here in June 2025. It was a great theater to see the show.

Long live the LBC! Loved so many incredible shows over here throughout my life... even hosted seminars in the lovely venue spaces... recently went to Circo Caballero, it was sooo much fun! There's something for everyone!💕

Went to the wine tasting event. I asked to go outside and smoke a cigarette. Was told if I leave I can't come back in the event. I understand but then they allow a couple to come back in right in front on me. I say something to security and I'm told tell someone who cares. I was disappointed respected and treated unfair. What kind of security are they hiring

First time at this venue. Parking onsite was easy, and a five min walk at most. I am impressed by the facility, staff, and overall organization. We had balcony seating, excellent view of the stage and the audio was just right. DWTS show was a delight!

Attended the North Coast Food & Wine Festival on the field. It was lovely amd a perfect vanue for the event.

The Ruth Finley Person Theater is a fantastic concert venue--for its size, I can't imagine a more perfectly designed space or a friendlier atmosphere. Not sure how I missed out until now, but I will be looking for opportunities to come back!

Northern Lights Art and Light Display: Everyone saying Merry Christmas to strangers and taking group photos. Lots of families in matching flannel pj's. The lights are so joyful and beautiful it seems to make everyone smile.

I was in the area visiting the museum and saw the Peanuts characters continue across the street so checked it out. The shrub outside shaped like Snoopy. Charlie Brown statue dressed in hockey garb. Further down near the gift shop is a Woodstock dressed as a referee and another Snoopy. As well as a star in the sidewalk for Charles Shultz. Inside the ice arena there is a cafe that is super cute with Peanuts decor from stained glass, to drawings to cartoons that line the walls. Also, the table frequented by Charles Shultz is memorialized there. From the cafe you can look on to the ice and view all the activities going on there. It's a neat place.

Snoopy's Home Ice is one of the coolest ice skating rinks we’ve ever seen. Built in 1969 by the Charles Schultz family and inspired by the Swiss alps (and Snoopy of course), they were the host of the ISI Snoopy Open 2025 this weekend. Natalie Anglin was ecstatic bringing home another Gold medal in her first competition (Open Freestyle which we were up at 5:30 AM to compete) and a Silver medal in her Artistic competition. The Snoopy Museum, Santa Rosa, California next door was neat to see as well.

Best public rink, I've ever witnessed. Great community of people. Spectacular museum. Even the gift shop is loaded with Peanuts artifacts. The Warm Puppy Cafe has a variety of goodies. This place is overall is an absolute gem!

Between the Growlers games and the overall vibe of the place, it’s a treasure that keeps us coming back for more.

This is an ice rink, cafe, and gift shop built by Charles Shultz. It is located across the street from the Shultz museum. After touring the museum, stop by for a bite to eat. Look for the signatures of famous skaters in the concrete sidewalk around the building.

Attended the annual Snoopy Senior Hockey tournament. They do a fantastic job orchestrating all the games and post game events. Charles Schultz would be proud of how his legacy is supported, remembered and cherished by so many.

My family all but lives at this facility for hockey. Having grown up in Michigan and lived in Minnesota, this rink is entirely unique. The legacy of the Schulz family with museum and gift shops next door, the rink has a peanuts themed cafe and an interior modeled after a traditional European (Bavarian?) landscape. Most of the hockey teams in Northern CA prefer to play games here when possible… sharks ice is the only comparable space which no where near the character!! Great place for a quick visit or open skate!

We had time to kill and weren’t too far away from Kendall-Jackson, so we looked them up online and tried to use their online reservation system to book a visit, but there wasn’t any availability, so since we were so close, we stopped in… glad we did, as they were available to take us and weren’t very busy at all. This visit actually went very well, our wine educator, Mitchell was very helpful, friendly, and very knowledgeable as well. The wines we tried were far from what you’d normally get at your local grocery store, wine store, etc, as these are smaller batch wines and they’re definitely worth trying. The venue is beautiful and if you’re hungry, the fries were incredible! They were freshly made, piping hot, and tasted great, especially with the tarragon dipping sauce. They weren’t well with the bubbles too. We enjoyed this visit and would return if/when we’re back in the area.

Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate & Gardens is a wonderful place to visit. The estate has a cozy and welcoming feel, and the wines were amazing across the board. Service was attentive and friendly, making the experience even better. One nice perk was the free Tesla charging, which made it super convenient during our visit. The highlight for me was wandering through the beautiful grounds and exploring the huge garden filled with flowers and produce. It’s such a peaceful and scenic setting, perfect for a relaxing afternoon.

Superb in every way possible. Excellent, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Beautiful property, and the wines were phenomenal. 10000/10 would recommend. We did a walk in too and the staff was warm and welcoming.

The 4 of us came here for the Chef's Five Course wine pairing lunch on Sunday 8/10. The estate wine collection exceeds our expectation. The smoked trout pairs well with the Panorama Vineyard Pinot Noir. The duck breast with carrot puree and cherry sauce pairs very well with the Jackson Hills merlot. The dessert goes well with the Orange muscat. It's located close to STS airport making it a great last minute pit stop before flight. We're quite surprised by the Estate collections which are only available via the wine club and directly from the winery. We're so pleased to have Jackie taking care of our group for this experience.

My wife and I had a wonderful wine tasting experience at Kendall-Jackson Wine Estate & Gardens. The tasting areas (both indoors and outdoors) are in a lovely mansion surrounded by beautiful gardens. We toured the gardens which are like a botanical garden on par with the gardens at Filoli Gardens and Butchart Gardens. We felt very welcomed by the employees. We arrived early to our tasting and were welcomed by one employee who gave us an extra tasting to enjoy while we waited for our reserved tasting to start. There is a nice selection of merchandise available, and my wife got a lovely shirt. Our tasting was at a private table outdoors facing the gardens. We tasted a wide range of delicious wines and several that were not in the standard tasting. All of the wines were outstanding. I especially loved the two dessert wines and the red wines. Our tasting was accompanied by a generous charcuterie board which went well with the wines. Our hostess was very friendly and informative. This is probably our favorite winery. We purchased 11 bottles of wine. We loved the wine, food, and the service. We will return.

Very majestic and bold entrance to a beautifully well kept winery. Very much enjoyed the complimentary tasting and the bocce experience. Tara was a wonderful host! Thank you to a lovely welcoming staff. So glad to have made the trip.

Fabulous day spent with friends playing bocce in the beautiful garden while sipping on great wine and the picnic we packed. Also enjoyed a delicious pizza from the kitchen. We’ll definitely do that again. Always find the staff so friendly and helpful.

Great park for kids. Climbing, swinging, rock jumping, and pedaling. We went on the paddle boats and our 10 year did most of the padding while the grandparents enjoyed the beautiful lake and birdwatching.

Great place to bring kids to play, there's a playground area, picnic tables, a train (not working currently. During summer there's plenty more to do, small boat rentals, a carousel, and a place to get snacks. Plenty of parking and room to roam. I personally enjoy the paved walking trail here, such a nice walk to take on a spring day. There are many trails to take that are not paved that go in to Spring Lake, and even in to Annadel Park which has plenty more to see. All around this is a great place to hike or have a full on party. This weekend they're having the Doggy Dash on the Spring Lake side which allows you to bring your dog to enjoy the little lake. Great little event for your furry friend. Highly recommend this park for your family and other events.

Absolutely love this beautiful and diverse park. It has everything and more that you, your friends and family could hope to find in a public park. Perfect for outings with the family, for solo hikes or a sweet spot to dip your pole in the water and day of the year.

Great amenities for all ages. Tennis courts, small “lake”, nice walking paths. There is a carousel and a train, pretty reasonably priced , and a great play area for kids with different play areas for different skill levels. One of the best regional parks in the area.

Howarth Park is a lovely playground, and I enjoy the lake as well as the animals that can be found there.

Great place to walk/hike. You can also camp, paddle board, fish, swim, ride their little train, and a bunch of other stuff. A ton of people bring their dogs. Others ride their horses. Parking is free, and the area is beautiful.

Great place for young kids to explore and play. Also connects to many nice trails, paved and dirt leading to Spring lake and Annadel park.

My first marathon was the Santa Rosa marathon, and this was the perfect spot for it! Did it last August and I'm really proud about the fact that I was able to complete it. I strongly recommend other people run it; it's a very forgiving course and this square is definitely so nice!

On Tuesday night Taco all the bicyclist make this an essential stop. Please decorate your bike and come on down.Meet us around 6:00 to 7:00pm. From there we head on down to Sebastopol road to Mitote and get tacos! Fun fun fun

It's the center of Santa rosa and what makes santa rosa so unique compared to a lot of other cities.

November 1st, 2023. Old courthouse square in Santa Rosa, CA there was the community coming together for Day of the Dead. Day of the Dead is an ancient tradition that dates back to the Aztecs, the 14th century to be exact. Being Aztec is our Mexican peoples ancestral and native roots. It is two days filled of us celebrating our loved ones and remembering the beautiful life they once had. It also believed to that this day the border between the spirit world and the real world dissolves. It is filled with loved ones favorite foods, drinks, and toys. There are candles and gorgeous portraits of each and every deceased soul. It is the two days that the souls of the dead awaken and dance with us. Old courthouse square is the perfect location to have a special celebration such as this. Since it is a public place there are trash cans all around as well as plenty of benches to sit other than the chairs they put out. They installed a couple of porter potty’s for folks to use the restroom. This downtown area is beautiful at night as there is great lighting not only from the lamps, but from the main statue. Great place to have community gatherings. —————————————————————————— Every Tuesday the Santa Rosa bike community gather in downtown Santa Rosa at Old Courthouse Square. Unless it’s raining of course. Then they all take a bike ride to Sebastopol road to enjoy some fresh tacos on taco Tuesday. They decorate their bikes for all the people to enjoy the show and personality of what the Santa Rosa community can be about and how fun it can be to ride bikes. They welcome all friends and family to chat, make friends, and watch lit up bikes! When I witnessed this they even passed out free warm cider. To the beautiful community of Sonoma county and visitors abroad I recommend stopping at Old Courthouse Square at 6pm on Tuesdays!

I was walking by the Old Courthouse Square Plaza when I noticed they were showing a movie there outdoors. It turns out the city has been showing movies and having music events there all summer. What a great idea for the whole family. There were several families there taking advantage of it. This was apparently the last event of the summer. Since its inception, the Plaza has hosted many events. Movie night seems to be very popular and hopefully will return next summer.

The first time I went it was fantastic! They played 80s and 90s music. I loved every minute of it! Weeks later, my 2nd experience, to my opinion...the band really was lousy! Not only because of their political attributes and opinions but their music, NOT A FAN!! Please musicians, this is a family event Keep your political BS and opinions to yourself! Nobody wants to hear it and just because you have a stage to announce it on doesn't mean you should! 🤷🏼‍♀️

Santa Rosa is the most wonderful, amazing, outstanding city in the world. Children had a great time at the Santa Rosa Rose Parade. Families gathered. Music, arts, dancing, crafts, families and children had the best weekend, the best time this weekend, as the City of Santa Rosa celebrated.

I, personally loved the night market! Yes there were a lot of people, yes the lines were long after 6 but we got there right at 5, I was able to get all the food I wanted right away, the vendors were super friendly. The music was awesome, our kids had a blast! If I lived in The area I would definitely be there every week simply for the fun and inviting atmosphere.

This was a fun time! Lots of good choices and cute items to purchase. And you can watch live music and have a drink!

Happened to be staying at a nearby hotel the same night as this event. Fun atmosphere. All the food/drinks were very overpriced. But we still enjoyed it. But don't expect to find a bargain.

A random collection of vendors with mostly a lot of crafts, clothing and other items for sale. Small farmers market and food truck area also and there is also music. Not exactly what I was expecting. I was going for more food trucks or food stalls. Otherwise ok.

Great place for all around entertainment! Food,music, drinks and you can bring a blanket or chairs for a picnic or arrive early to reserve your favorite table and chairs! Always something new every week!

Such an incredible experience and a cannot miss! We were passing through town and wanted to hit up a local farmers market. Found this one online and stopped by. The most beautiful flowers. Fresh fruit and food and everyone from vendors to other shoppers were so kind and great at recommendations! We purchased Santa Rosa Plums 😍 Tried the Healsburg Bagel Company breakfast sandwhich - which as absolutely incredible! And could not pass up on the Costeaux Bakery baked goods! These were some of the best baked goods I have ever had and I love pastries!

The Santa Rosa Farmers Market is conveniently located with plenty of parking. They are currently open every Saturday from 8:30-1pm. They will soon be open on Wednesdays starting March 5th for their midweek market so you will soon have two opportunities to visit them throughout the week. This was the first time to this farmers market and I wasn't sure what to expect, although I was very pleasantly surprised. There was a wide variety of items such as fresh seasonal local produce such as eggs (both chicken and duck eggs), fruit, vegetables, meats and cheeses. They also had baked goods such as pastries, bagels, and other breakfast food items. There were also local food trucks serving food and vegetables. There were lots of other items such as flowers, jewelry, pottery, garden metal art, and CBD products. They also had pre-packaged foods like hummas and pita bread, honey, and olive oil. I came here more to check it out and with no plan on what I wanted to purchase and more to understand what this farmer's market was like. I ended up getting oranges and eggs and will definitely be back again now that I know all that they have to offer. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. It had a great energy to it. It's also great knowing that you are supporting local and family owned farms and small businesses. If you haven't checked them out, I highly recommend it! Tip: I would recommend bringing a reusable bag to put all the items you purchase into. If you don't have one, the parking lot is extremely close so you can put whatever items you purchase in your car and continue shopping. I would also recommend bringing cash if possible. While vendors accept both card and cash, cash is preferred since the vendors get charged a fee when they run a credit card.

Good food but most things are overpriced. Whatever happened to farm to market prices. We found everything cheaper and better in the markets.

This is such a great farmer’s market! I’m so lucky because I work nearby so I get to come once or twice a week. Check it out!

Passing on the highway and saw this little farmers market, can’t help to stop and see if there’s any deliciousness here. The farmers market is small but we found this gem when we were searching for food! Hands down the best breakfast burrito I have ever had! The goat cheese and cheddar have such a nice touch to the taste with the tortilla pan fried to golden brown! It’s amazing! I will be expecting them to grow from the farmers market to an actual restaurant!

Visiting from out of town. Wanted to go because the reviews seemed good. The official website didn't mention dogs before I went. Get there and see the NO PETS sign. Bummed because I am traveling with my dog. Could you please make this policy more prominent on your site?

Food is pretty standard mainly pizzas. Good food but my wife was hoping for more variety. Beer selection was solid as expected. Order pizza, chicken wings and garlic cheese bread. We got here when it opened so we were able to find seating pretty easily but it got packed quickly so we got lucky. Parking was easy to find because it was Sunday but I can imagine the parking gets tough to find. Would come here again

If I were only rating the beer and its selection, I would give Russian River Brewing Company 5 stars. The beer is amazing! I really enjoy getting the flights and trying all the beer available. I think it’s the best way to figure out what you like and then follow your favorites on future visits. Unfortunately, I would give only 2 or maybe 3 stars to the pizza. We had the Mikey pizza, and while it wasn't terrible, I can’t say it was that good either. The pizza had a good crispy crust, which I liked, but the sauce and toppings didn't bring much flavor. Service is a good 4. Our waitress was nice and checked on us from time to time. On busy days it can be hard to find good seating, and parking nearby can also be a challenge. Overall, I enjoy coming here mainly for the drinks. My favorites are Happy Hops (IPA), MIND CIRCUS (Hazy IPA), and VELVET GLOW (Helles-Style Lager).

The best beer flight I've ever had. Service was great. Both the chicken wings with Pliny sauce that I got and the pizza my brother got were absolutely on point. Not sure how it could have been better. Definitely going back!

Very cool place to eat. It was a little cool the evening we stopped in, but nice enough that we decided to eat outside (also it was pretty loud inside and decided we'd much rather be able to hear each other). We got their baked spinach and artichoke dip appetizer and it was amazing. We ordered their wings with the sweet chili sauce to share and kind of wished we had tried a different sauce as we didn't like this one as much as we thought we would. We also ordered their Simcoe Calzone (we asked to add artichoke as well). For some reason, it just tasted kind of bland, and yet still had way too much garlic. Just wasn't what we were looking for. We did order a scoop of ice cream for dessert to finish it all off (and help with the garlic lol). But it was a fun experience in a really cute, smallish downtown area and would like to try it again. (Apologies for the picture - didn't realize we hadn't taken a picture of all the food until it was almost gone).

We went on a Sunday morning. Got there before lunch time and was able to get a nice patio seating. It was dog friendly. Food came fairly quickly and was very tasty! I had a Southwest BBQ chicken wrap. It had a little spice to it which I liked. The pizzas looked really good. Will have to try next time. Got two cans of Pliny the Elder to go. 👍💕 Inside had a nice pub atmosphere with TVs too.

Sat at the bar last Saturday and Sunday night. Had a blast. Great beer, friendly bartenders, solid pizza, and great conversations with friendly folks I met at the bar. This pub has an awesome friendly old school charm that makes you want to revisit.

We truly enjoyed our time here. We knew we would be drinking some great IPAs but were happily surprised with how much we loved the Belgium style brews. The flight was a great way to try everything and a reasonable price. We had a pizza that was solid and our serve was friendly and attentive. Loads of easy street parking and easy to get a table on a Sunday afternoon. We didn't bring our kids but they would have been very welcome in the space.

Our experience here was incredible. We reserved a tasting and it was easily the best one we've had. Our tasting guide made the experience very personal and memorable. We felt very welcome, and the grounds were absolutely gorgeous. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the region. Plus, the wine was incredible, the Journey Chardonnay, and it had the taste of a delightful buttery croissant.

Matanzas Creek Winery is a fantastic spot and one of the more memorable tastings I’ve had in Sonoma. The variety of red blends featuring Malbec and Merlot really stood out, with each wine offering something unique and well-balanced. The property itself feels friendly and cozy, making it a great place to relax and take your time. One of the best parts of visiting is the beautiful lavender fields, which you can wander through and enjoy at your own pace. They add a special charm to the whole experience and make this winery a must-visit.

We were first greeted by an older woman who told us that wine tastings weren’t available—only bottles—and that they didn’t offer charcuterie boards. After buying a bottle, we sat outside to enjoy it. Shortly after, a couple next to us asked for a charcuterie board. A staff member checked and brought one out for them. When I asked again, I was then told that boards were available by reservation only—something that was never mentioned to us. Overall, the experience was underwhelming and the service felt inconsistent and unwelcoming.

We visited Matanzas Creek Nov 19, 2024 to pick up our wine shipment. It's one of the most beautiful vineyards, we enjoy coming here for the lavender garden and the wine tasting.

Her empathy and grace added a personal and emotional layer to an already wonderful visit. This is not just a winery—it’s a place of peace, beauty, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an inspiring and tasteful experience in Sonoma.

Had a tasting reservation for a Sunday at 11. The weather was amazing and the view from the patio was beautiful. I think Jillian was our wine guide and she was great, explaining each wine and giving background on the area and asking what kind of wine we liked. We bought 2 bottles to take home and can’t wait to enjoy them.

Fun place to go. The arcade is great but a little pricey, not out of this world pricey. The restaurant is good but seems like a lot is from frozen food so not fresh. Good size portions though. We have not experienced everything there, however, we have met a ton of people that have and they were all really happy. A fun place to check out!

Such a fun place for families! We went here for my daughter's birthday recently. There's a lot to do & we spent most of the day here 😅The onsite restaurant has some good food too! We'll be back soon!

My original review of this awesome fun center seems to have disappeared, so I’m leaving another one with the original pictures I’d taken! This is an excellent place to spend a day with the family and make some fun memories! There is an ample amount of parking, but it does fill up quickly so the earlier you can get there the better. Handicap ramps exist at the entrance and exits, making it easily accessible for everyone. The interior of the building consists of several soccer and basketball courts, a trampoline park, a gym, an arcade center, bowling alley/pool hall, ax throwing, smoothie bar, individual party rooms that can be rented out, and an awesome laser tag room! After all of the fun, we usually pay a visit to the restaurant and bar. They have a nice selection of food that the family will enjoy, as well as a full bar. The staff were all very pleasant and polite to deal with. The facility itself is always extremely clean and well kept. I highly recommend a visit!

Kids can play, adults can sit back, so & relax. You can order food. Prices are decent. We love the indoor obstacle course for kids. There is also a play area for babies only.

We had an absolutely horrendous experience where my kids and I were verbally assaulted by another woman. We were all prepared to never go back but one of the staff, Cesan (I'm probably spelling that wrong, I'm sorry!) stepped in and made us feel so much better. He went above and beyond comforting us, letting us all cry, and then making sure we did not see the other woman again. He even gave my kids some game cards which totally made their day. So I guess my point is, beware the other guests but the staff is awesome!

AF at EpiCenter is a fantastic place to get your gym on! The staff and trainers are super-friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, and same for the patrons. Don’t wait: just go and no regrets!

Santa Rosa is a charming little town. The storefronts are decorated in style. Very hip. The only downfall is that everything closes around 9 PM.

Down town has rats and pests problem seen rats pop out of wholes from the side walk on 4th 3th 2th 6th a street and more its sad when u see a city that used to keep it clean and now rats even the library has rats and there not afraid of humans but will stay away

Came down from Clearlale for some fellowship. Arrived in the middle of a celebration. It was a lot of fun. Great food vendor (corn bowls, yummy) and pretty good price. Loved the festivities, band and people. I will come back again to visit.

I love the SMART Train ride to Downtown Santa Rosa's Courthouse Square😍 Aroma Coffee Roasters (I know the name is something close with what I wrote) is there to quench my caffeine thirst when I arrive each and every time. I am made happy because I see the huge Peanuts statues by Charles Schultz. I am thankful to Santa Rosa and Sonoma County for helping to shape my life growing up🙂 Wine country, river vibes, green grass in abunDance, music, and so much else... Prices are good during happy hour—though the portions are definitely on the tiny side. Still, it’s a fun spot with a lively atmosphere. Just a heads-up: the bar gets super busy starting around 4:30 PM, so plan ahead if you want a seat!

Had dry aged ribeye steak, potato skin fondue, Brussels sprouts and beef prime ribs. Nice food, great service and cozy atmosphere overall. Recommend to order the food at the same time since it takes a while to got the main after your starters. We got already full before our steaks served.

We love this place!! I would eat here every night if I could afford it. I always order the surf and turf and my husband orders the prime rib. I always make sure to have the bread with dill butter because it's amazing! And don't forget the mac and cheese with truffles.... To die for!

I have to say that it’s been along time since we’ve had prime rib done so right as we had at Stark! Love the service by our lady bartender, the best dirty martini 🍸 made to perfection. And we love the atmosphere and vibe of classic deco and contemporary music mixed. We will surely be back again, next time we will try happy hours and sit at the bar to enjoy handcrafted cocktails. 🍹 thank you for an amazing night!

Now this was truly an excellent dining experience! We came here for dinner as we were staying very close by (the La Rose Hotel is only a couple of blocks away). Our server was friendly and helpful and the venue is beautiful, very “steakhouse’ish” in décor and all the service there was great. The menu is loaded with many incredible options and some funny notes too. If you’re lucky enough to get there while they still have some of the day’s smoked prime rib, I’d suggest giving it a try! In my case, I asked about it immediately and learned they had enough for 3 more portions, so I reserved one. We started with their shrimp cocktail and I generally always ask for extra horseradish and many places have wimpy, mild horseradish – Will, this isn’t one of those places! Their horseradish was LEGIT! It was so potent, it’s the spiciest I’ve ever had, even more so than Eddie V’s Atomic Horseradish! Definitely flavorful and worked great on those perfectly steamed, large shrimp! The entrees here were incredible too! The scallops were a thing of beauty and that prime rib was incredible! The smoke on it was perfect and offered the nicest hint of flavor. The mashed potatoes tasted great in the jus too! Save room for dessert, they have a very nice dessert menu! We’d definitely return when in the area!

We stopped by for their weekday happy hour (3–6 PM) and were seriously impressed. The menu had a fantastic selection of bites and drinks at very reasonable prices. No wonder it’s been voted “Best in Sonoma County” year after year! We ordered a spread that hit all the right notes: Crispy calamari with orange-chili gremolata…perfectly tender with a zesty kick Buttermilk onion rings…golden, crunchy, and addictive Poke tacos…fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented BBQ oysters…smoky and rich, a standout dish Prime rib banh mi…a genius fusion of steakhouse indulgence and Vietnamese flair The vibe was upscale yet relaxed, and the staff were friendly and attentive. If you’re in Santa Rosa and want elevated bites without breaking the bank, Stark’s happy hour is a must. We’ll definitely be back!

It was our first time dining at this restaurant, conveniently located near our hotel. We stopped by during happy hour, and the place had a clean, vibrant atmosphere that immediately stood out. It was fairly busy, which added to the lively energy. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed a nice glass of wine to top it off. A great experience overall—we’re glad we gave it a try!

The restaurant is large with two floors and outdoor dining areas. The atmosphere/service is great, and the music is very upbeat. The food selection mainly consists of tapas, which are good for sharing. Unfortunately, I personally found the seasoning to be a bit heavy and intense.

Solid fusion restaurant offering small plates and unique flavors. We randomly picked items from the menu and they did not disappoint. The grill octopus was flavorful but the main key was the side salad. I loved it. Regular fries/chips has a very tasty onion dip. Forget about ketchup, the dip is new way to go; crispy thinly sliced potatoes, you don’t taste the greasy or over fried/old oily soggy fries. Black cod and friend oysters were also good. I would prefer grilled miso cod instead of deep fried cod. Overall, it deserved a high review. They’re pretty darn good.

This review is a bit late but one I wanted to highlight. My wife and I have been here a few times throughout the years. When we head out towards Santa Rosa this place is in our thoughts to try to make a pit stop to, it should be one of your too. The restaurant has a lot of space. Indoor and outdoor seating is available as well as a bar area. The service has always been good. The staff have all been nice and friendly. The thing that always comes to our mind when coming here is the pastrami tacos! They are to YUM for! We recommend them to anyone who might be heading that way. The pastrami is moist, the mustard seeds pair so well with the pastrami. There are some menu items that change but the staples seem to stay. In the past we have also ordered the crispy skin salmon wings, corn riblets, ribs, bone marrow, and wood grilled gulf prawns. All of these items were delicious. We do order a few drinks while we are there but unfortunately I cannot remember the names of the cocktails. If you happen to be in Santa Rosa, do yourself a favor and go try some of these pastrami tacos!

Food and drinks here were top notch! A+ quality, absolutely no complaints there. One dish we wanted was sold out, but there were so many other items to choose from and everything we had was amazing. Very clean, cozy, comfortable. Service was a little lacking however, not sure if it’s because we were sitting outside. One of our items took way too long to arrive, and we had to ask several times for our drinks. When it came time to pay, our card was swiped for another table and things had to be voided and fixed, etc. Seemed a little chaotic. Other than that, great visit. We’d go back!

I don't use "y'all" lightly, but Y'ALL. Eating at Bird & the Bottle is like high-fiving a million angels. The experience was an absolute masterpiece with a side of "hell yeah, brother!" We came for our 20th anniversary dinner and were greeted by an amazing server, celebratory bubbles, and just a super lovely aesthetic. We tried several dishes and cocktails (and all were worth mentioning), but our favorites of the night were the duck confit tacos, the Korean BBQ half chicken, and the Stark Side of the Moon (Aperol + mezcal + other delicious alchemical components = ❤️). You should definitely come here. Just do it.

We hit their Saturday Happy Hour and it was a home run! The atmosphere was great and the service was excellent. We loved the appetizers - the Everything Spiced Fries and Miso Good Guac were both outstanding. Highly recommend the Shiso Pretty cocktail, it was a perfect pairing. A must-try, highly recommend!

Oh my gosh, we had such a wonderful night at the Birdie bottle! These guys were so amazing Steve and Timmy were the most amazing people! Honestly, from the time we walked in with the hostess we were warmly welcomed. We were an hour early and they still sat us. They made amazing recommendations…the hummingbird cocktail was outstanding. Everyone that came to our table, was amazing! This was the first time we ever visited Santa Rosa and the Birdie in the Bottle was so fun. I highly recommend this restaurant to anybody. Honestly, we know that it’s Bird and the Bottle but Spencer was so fun telling us some stories about other people calling at the wrong thing that we just had to do this. Tom was our fantastic server. I can’t stress how much fun we had with these guys. The food was outstanding. The service was so great. Everyone was so friendly. We just felt like we were regulars. It’s definitely a meal we will remember for a long time. Thank you so much guys!!

So chill and comfortable 😎. Very welcoming. Staff was so very nice ,helpful, laid back, attentive and just accommodating. They made sure we had what we needed and still have us the space we needed for our private little surprise birthday party we had there for our best friends 45th. They helped us get cards loaded and gave the info for ordering food.

Loved this place! I was there while my daughter in law was having her second baby. Excellent vibes, nice people, and good ales. One reviewer writes its "good for older tech people". OK. As a 69 year old nuclear engineer from England, I think it's a place for more discerning clients, not backward-hat wearing bozos who only drink chemical lager. Keep at it. We'll be back. 😁👍🍺🍻

The Barlow is a 12 acre outdoor market so there is plenty to do and explore in this area. There are lots of local food restaurants, wine tasting rooms, places with beer and spirits, boutique shops, a cheese shop, and stores with local crafts and goods. The service at all of the places I have been to is excellent and everyone is friendly and inviting. As far as food, I love the Osito Tacos, because who doesn't love tacos. I haven't tried all the food options here but the ones I have tried were all great. I also love Region, a self-serve wine bar, and enjoy sampling different wines. Each month they feature a winery and you can enjoy a flight of wines or partake in different events they have. The Barlow is dog friendly so you will see cute dogs on leashes. They have plenty of outdoor and indoor areas to sit, relax, and enjoy your time there. They have events so if interested in going to any events here, check out their events calendar online.

I had no idea The Barlow district even existed until one day last year we accidentally drove up on it. It's a beautiful area with several repurposed farm storehouses lining the main road. We've now gone back a couple of times and the storefronts seem to be increasing each visit. For those of you who aren't in the know, The Barlow is a 12 acre outdoor market district where you can find local food, wine, beer various retail stores - all local to Sonoma. I've been to a couple of the restaurants (The Farmers Wife and Acre Pizza), the coffee shop (Taylor Lane), and a brewery (Crooked Goat), and all were excellent. Parking is plentiful (at least when I've been there) and free (but keep it to 2 hours). I see they are now offering tasting tours around the district which I think would be excellent and give you a mouth watering sampling of what the district offers. For sure visit The Barlow next time you pass through Sebastopol and be sure to arrive thirsty and with an empty stomach.

If you are into blue haired women in Berkenstocks, man buns and men wearing sandals, this is the place for you. I will say, The Crooked Goat Brewery was excellent. Wife said shopping was "eh". Cheese shop/restaurant was a disappointment. Pizza joint was good. Won't go back.

This is a really fun place to visit; a great tourist destination. Sebastopol has long been regarded as a haven for aspiring artists, and the crafts displayed here are quite unique and of high quality. There are plenty of places to eat and wander around while you eat your ice cream. Plenty of free parking. Given only 4 stars because the buildings are old and the crafts are sometimes expensive. Still, the shop owners have made it a welcoming and enjoyable place to take in the beauty of their stores.

Great area to spend an afternoon. Shopping, food, wine, coffee, outdoor markets. There's a lot to see, do and experience here!

We enjoyed our hike up the mountain, picnicking in the forest next to a pond . The forest was quite except for the birds singing. Beautiful park

Some trees down across the trail and some mud but otherwise a great trail.

Some of the most remote trails you can access as part of the Sonoma County Regional Parks system. If you're not an intermediate hiker, most of these trails will be pretty difficult. For Sonoma County, the elevation gain is substantial. If you're looking for trails to train for a race, these steep trails might be a good spot for you! Plenty of wildlife, dog friendly, and decent views of the valley. The trails are fairly well maintained, and there's plenty of fire roads throughout the park.

The parking area is tucked away in the back. You go down a long narrow road which turns into a one lane at times (be careful around the curves). There is a self service pay machine for the parking lot. Maps are provided at the parking lot as well. I hiked to the summit and gunsight rock with my 4 year old daughter and it took us 2 hours 30 minutes to get there. It's mostly uphill to the summit, then if you want to head to gunsight rock, which has great views of Sonoma county, it will take you down hill a little ways to reach it. Just follow the guide posts and you'll make it to the top.

Beautiful State Park. Hiking trails, campsites and a view of the valley of the moon.

Amazing hikes, no matter what side you go up.

I appreciate the added trails to this mountain and thank you to the Sonoma County regional Parks for their work. I had not been here in a while as there were not many trails before. The views are always quite nice. Be mindful where you step as we almost stepped on a rattler today as it was basking in the sun. The gravel road up to the park has so many dips in it you have to drive extremely slow to traverse it safely. Plenty of parking spots.

Trails are maintained well enough. Close to town with easy access and two entrances with plenty of parking. Disc golf course off the Kawana entrance. Not many flat trails from either entrance-- mostly up, just at varying degrees. Views are nice from both entrances. From Kawana you can take in views of the east side of the mountain which is fewer houses, but can't see as far. Lots of lizards. Sometimes even cows! Dog friendly but keep them on a leash. Watch for snakes in the hot months (rare, but sometimes you'll see them.) Plenty of trails to get in a good workout. If you're looking for something more difficult, go to Hood Mountain. If you're looking for something easier, check out Crane Creek down the road, or Sonoma Valley Regional Park outside Glen Ellen. Enjoy!

The marked trails are moderate steep, but those unmarked trails going straight up the hills are very steep. Be careful to avoid them going down hill if you are not very fit.

A great open hike with many different opportunities for different fitness levels plus this park is dog friendly!! This was a very busy park but you still felt like you were out hiking alone at the same time. There were numerous routes that ranged from a slow incline to very steep ones so people from all fitness levels are able to enjoy the prettiness of the area. Our favorite part was the super friendly cows that came right up to us and then followed us a part of the way. It was definitely the curious young ones who did but our dog even enjoyed getting up nose to nose to them. Definitely watch out for the big poop mounds along the trail but it was still fun. A great moderate hike.

Excellent place to hike. Big views and open oak meadows. Popular Frisbee golf too. Parking is $8 without a regional park pass.

Fantastic hike to the summit. First time here and loved it! Look forward to coming back and seeing the views from the summit, unfortunately we had fog roll in and could not see the landmarks at the top. The park has something for everyone, disk golf , horse back ridding, hiking. All skill levels. Parking is $7.00.

Attended the Peggy Sue Car show. $10 for parking and $10 per person for entry. Loved the food vendors, especially the Caribbean food truck, there pulled pork was out of this world. The car show was amazing this year with over 700 cars, the pin up contest was really fun too.

Great venue, went to Country Summer and it was definitely a fun time! Bring foldable chairs, blankets, and shade, you won't regret it.

Lots of fun things to do at this fair. I found the most amazing thai die at one of the booths outside of the building. They have fireworks and lots of good things to eat and a whole bunch of rides.

Hot air ballon show. Simple show. Definitely an experience. Started at 5am with food vendors.

A nice open event center - we attended the Sonoma county fair there recently and really enjoyed the Monster Truck show. Bathrooms were relatively easy to find and the wait generally wasn’t too long. I will definitely want to go back next year!

Mustang Showcase was hosted here and the facilities are great. Especially for being older. They are generally kept up with clean bathrooms.

So many fun memories as a child at the Fair. The rides, the food, the photo booths, and farm animals. All the amazing events over the years - Health & Harmony Festival, Music shows, Gem Shows, Dog shows, Flower Shows, Quilt shows, Horse racing and Rodeos! We are so lucky to have such a wonderful fairgrounds. Also, you can jump on the Airport Express from the Fair now in the Park N Ride across the street in big parking lot. Hoping for more fun to come at the Fair - here's to a BIG comeback! ❤️

We got married here, and by far Jessica and her team gave me the fairytale wedding that I didn't know I wanted. The staff were extremely helpful, professional, and friendly. The food was delicious and Jessica was extremely organized, she made sure we had all the details in order before and during the wedding. Having a wedding on the golf course gave us some amazing views and photos. The staff went above and beyond to make our day magical and they succeeded. The only negative is, I was having such a great time that I refused to cut the cake. It was 100% my fault, the staff contacted us multiple times but I was having too much fun on the dance floor. Thank you so much Bennett Valley Gulf Course and Jessica for everything.

Really fun coarse. Manny selection of tee choices. Course is in good condition and the greens are pretty consistent.

The restaurant offers a delightful dining experience, featuring exquisite cuisine and exemplary service.

The course is in Salinas and I enjoyed the well maintained course with it's mature tree lined fairway. The greens were on the speedy side with both big & around the cups subtle breaks. Pro shop staff were helpful & friendly. There is a good driving range with decent mats. The only downside is that the cafe-bar is shutdown so bring ur own food and drinks (they do sell bottled water in the pro shop)

Eighty dollars for round of golf on a city course.Was shocking to begin with secondly, putting a ball down the fairway and hitting it off of hard mud is wild the tea boxes were trashed hard to find it somewhere to stick the ball, let alone even footing your greens were terrible. My ball hopped and skipped along the path then when I ordered fries, they were overcooked burnt and crispy, just a terrible bad experience might not ever come back to this place again.I don't recommend it and I don't recommend the food

They were great hosts to our large group scramble, the course was very well maintained, and pricing was fair.

We held our Golf Tournament at Bennett Valley Golf Course. The course was in great shape and the staff was very professional and made our tournament a success. thank you to Jessica, CJ, Justin and Chance!

Enjoyed the Hella Stoked Cold IPA. It was refreshing with a nice bouquet. It’s a good stop over to grab a brew from the bar. They have a food truck today, Saturday. Sat at the bar and noticed a tender connection with their customers-🍺 This location is their initial one and the location at Petaluma was a contract place that they purchased once the other brewery left. I'm a huge fan of HenHouse Brewing Company. In fact, I waited 30 minutes before the 2pm Google Maps posted time to open. I was in the area and excited to check out the brewery. Although, the brewery opens at 2:00 p.m., they can't pour beer on tap until 4:00 p.m.. This is due to their agreement with the landlord. I would recommend that HenHouse brewing company post the 4:00 p.m. and not the 2:00 p.m. on Google maps. Since at least five customers left after discovering they would have to wait 2 hours before they could have a beer on tap. IG: SACRAMENTOHONEY

Stopped by here the other day FINALLY after trying various cans over the past year. I had high expectations and I'm so happy to say they were met and exceeded. What I did not expect was the variety of "funky" beers. I love breweries that offer more than just IPA and one or two other kinds of beer. I was surprised to find they even had a German style beer! My friend and I shared a flight. I really enjoyed how we weren't just "served" a flight but it was more like "presented" to us. Being talked through the flavors really added to the experience. Shout out to the guys working Sunday at closing; they were great! This place has seating inside and outside. The outside does have heating lamps and was comfortable. 👍🏼👍🏼 Looking forward to the next time.

Great Brewery to go to, in Santa Rosa. If you want to try a smaller brewery, whom is producing quality beers of various types, definitely hit up Henhouse. They have an amazing Saison, Saison Red Rye, balanced lighter IPA, Stoked hazy series, and other creative beers. Not all for my pallet, but definitely cool to try. Main seating area under Costco Yardistry Pavilion/ Gazebos. Smaller seating inside taproom. Most beers you can get in 4 pack cans, if not in crowlers.

Great shopping experience. Ask for cooper, he knows what he’s talking about. Great deals and promos. Definitely worth the stop in.

I am elderly and disabled and the treatment I get at this shop is incredible each and every employee has taken their time to help me with my purchases I have been to many other places here in Santa Rosa and 365 has been the best experience of all. The fact that they put the taxes right in the price is a great benefit to me

This is a very pleasant place. All the staff know their products and know what they are talking about. One nice thing, they have discount days, e.g., all edibles are discounted on a certain day. I've never had a bad experience here. Excellent shop.

This brewery is constantly making award winning beers, and this spot offers the guest an opportunity to try a variety of their beers you might not be able to find in the stores. Along with their well known black lager, and czech pils, they also have a handful of equally or more delicious regulars on tap or in cans, like the helles, or bombay IPA, and much much more. This spot offers a laid back place to sip a beer and read or listen to the occasional live music, or simply chat with friends! Highly recommend

This brewery is a little out of the way, but that's a good thing. I can always find a table to get a little work done at the end of a day, while enjoying a beer and using their reasonably fast wifi. And did I mention they have a wide selection of dark beers? If you're not into dark beers, they have a few others but this is definitely a spot for those looking for a little more robust flavor in their beer.

Don't judge a book by its cover. I know, an industrial park isn't the fanciest location, but this beer is something else. I didn't know it was some of the highest rated beers on beer advocate when I arrived, but it made sense once I drank one sip. The beer is legendary, no matter which one is your style. People are friendly too. Seriously, go.

Good beer. I like their options are not IPA dominated as in other places. There's usually a food truck from Thursdays to Saturdays.

Wow, one of the best wine tastings I’ve ever done. The winery is organic, uses sustainable farming & harvesting practices, and even the structures they’ve built use reclaimed wood and as many local materials as possible. It’s woman-owned and made; we loved hearing the story of how Kathleen started the vineyard in ‘99. Meredith was our host, and she was extremely hospitable, inquisitive, knowledgeable, just a lot of fun. She read the room (or the patio in our case) perfectly and seemed to appear at just the right moment for the next glass. This is the kind of business that I want to support.

Kathleen was terrific! Her "Zero Footprint" philosophy really resonated with us (ask her about it!). She's very personable and explains the process artfully and enthusiastically ... she obviously loves the business. You need a reservation for a wine tasting session (easily done online) ... ours comprised pinot gris, rose, pinot noir (2), chardonnay, and blanc de noir, which were all excellent(!) but, surprisingly to me, my favorite was the OGV Estate Pinot Gris. We had a great time and would love to return.

Dangerous beginner area. Advanced skaters went right through with little regard for the learners they were disrupting. I was helping my daughter learn to skate when an advanced skater went in between us. My daughter fell while the advanced skater continued like nothing happened.

The chairs and buckets for the Parent & Puppy session is a smart and effective way for kids to enjoy ice skating no matter their skill level. I had a blast with my niece and nephew.

We are so very excited that they are open again. The warm puppy Cafe is not open for service right now but my kids are thoroughly enjoying being able to do ice skating lessons again. And the beautiful area with redwoods out front is great for my youngest children to playing while we wait

We did the overnight glamping experience for a birthday/retirement party. The beef Brisket buffet dinner was excellent. We'll seasoned melt in your mouth Brisket and chicken buffet had vegan options. Chocolate desserts and camp fire smores. The tents were surprisingly cozy. Electric blankets are provided alone with portable space heaters. Nice hot showers attached to the tent. The only drawback is the bathrooms aren't heated. But sre well designed with natural wood & stone. Breakfast in the morning before our afternoon tour with educated guides in 4WD trucks. With everything from ring tailed lemurs, zebras,Watusi cattle, Rhinos and water buffaloes. This was my 3rd visit, but first overnight. I recommend the overnight experience.

Absolutely loved the wildlife safari in the midst of wine country. Justin was our guide and he was super cool and super good. Loved the way he interacted with all the guests in his safari vehicle. He's a gem. The wild animals are kept in enclosures, some closed enclosures like the cheetahs, the rhino, the giraffes...and some in open spaces like the zebras, the antelopes...The avian enclosure is also very good. Of the animals the cheetahs I felt were the star attraction. The way Justin explains the behaviour, the nature, the habits of the different animals and birds is just awesome. And his one liner jokes and the quiz questions for the guests while on his truck is too good. The snacks store is also well stocked up, the hot chocolate is the one to go all out for. The souvenir store is cool. Sure to do an overnight stay over at the place next time.

Experience is amazing. Our tour guide Bianca was amazing.. she was knowledgeable with good sense of humor. Nice seat rotation policy. Great... But for the set of animals and overall it's pricey...

We didn't stay in the cabins (they look nice), but everything else was chef's kiss. The guides and staff were cool, the food and vibes were good and the animals looked healthy and well cared for. We would like to go back for a behind-the-scenes tour the next time we visit. Very nice and peaceful place.

I enjoyed the weekend Glamping and marveling at the amazing animals. The experience was fantastic. The tent cabin was super cozy, the staff was friendly and professional. The onsite cafe served super tasty meals. You cannot get bored at Safari West, or go hungry. The experience is way different from that of a zoo, with the animals wandering freely around the property and in select fenced areas. The three hour safari ride around the property was fun and interesting, offering close up views of a number of animal I've only seen in books, on TV, or on YouTube. Treat yourself, your family and friends. Book a trip to Safari West.

We went for my birthday. We did the 2 pm reservation and 7pm dinner. Gina was our Tour Guide and she was amazing. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, and took my parties jokes well. We stayed the night in Tent 22 which was AWESOME! I loved that you could hear the wild life during the night. If you’re used to having a TV to watch you will not get that here. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious and all you can eat. They do make S’more and show a movie in the evening which is a nice treat. You can also go on night time exploring if you wish.

I first heard about this safari from a coworker and knew I had to check it out. I booked my tickets online in advance and arrived about 15 minutes before my 1:00–4:00 pm tour. The experience began with a walking tour through the “zoo” area, where we saw a variety of African birds, a giant pigeon, cheetahs, and monkeys. After that, we boarded a large open-air truck/van for the safari ride. It was incredible being so close to the giraffes, ostriches, and many other animals. The safari spans 400 acres, and even in the moments when we weren’t spotting wildlife, the scenery was absolutely beautiful. I’m so glad we came—it was such a memorable experience, and I’d definitely love to bring friends and family here in the future.

Great wine, delicious food, wonderful staff, beautiful views, and amazing art! What more can you ask for? Paradise Ridge is literally paradise in Santa Rosa. Their events are always a blast and the art installations are so fun to explore. Always looking forward to coming back!

We just celebrated our wedding anniversary at Paradise! We got married there 10 years ago and wanted to go back and reminisce about that day, and bring friends that did and did not attend the wedding. We had a very lovely experience working with Jasmine and Alyssa! They took such great care of us and sweetened the experience. We are very grateful. We highly recommend Paradise to everyone all of the time!

We had zero expectations when coming here for the first time and we were blown away. Not only is this an extremely beautiful bird’s eye view, but the facilities are clean and gorgeous, the tasting option with their staff (shoutout to Dana!) is extremely enlightening and engaging, the wine is delicious (Confessor Rockpile was our personal favorite), the snacks are tasty and the price is extremely reasonable. We are also vegan and they set up a very nice vegan snack plate to pair with our wine options. Don’t listen to the negative reviews, do the estate tasting option and you won’t regret it.

The views are gorgeous. The wine is good. But the overall experience is rather lack luster and feels like an average spot to grab a drink. For a winery, we would have loved to have engagement from the staff about the details and background of the wines, rather than just picking a glass/bottle we wanted. We hoped for more explanation and attentiveness. It was also a bummer that as a larger group with a reservation, we couldn’t put two tables together in the sun, and needed to sit in the colder shade section under the building. The patio was only half full and we saw other groups moving chairs, but sadly we couldn’t combine the easily movable tables.

We have visited Paradise Ridge Winery on several occasions, not only to taste their wines but also to host our wedding! Incredible venue; all of our guests were blown away by the beauty location and the views. The venue was perfect for a wedding of just under 100 guests. Working with Jasmine H. to get everything taken care of with our planner was amazing! Excellent wines, awesome location, friendly and knowledgeable staff.

We’re still glowing from our wedding weekend, and our welcome dinner at Paradise Ridge Winery was truly unforgettable. The views were stunning, the setting was magical, and the wine was absolutely fantastic. Our guests are still talking about how special it all felt! From our very first email through the dinner itself, the team made us feel supported, comfortable, and excited. Everyone we interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely kind, which made the evening seamless and stress-free. A huge thank you to the entire staff for making the night so memorable and a special shoutout to Alyssa, who was the absolute sweetest! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect start to our wedding weekend.

So many wineries in the area is is difficult to choose! This winery is right off a main road, but you’ll never notice that once you arrive, its quiet and peaceful. The vineyards are gorgeous, and they had art sculptures throughout the vineyards as well. We came as walk-ins for wine tasting which was $35. Our server was so pleasant, friendly, and knowledgeable she really made our experience. We sat outside under umbrellas that overlooked the winery. They do serve food here but we didn’t eat. We had a great time

Merry Edwards wine was fantastic. I loved the tasting room and outdoor patio. I had my wine tasting outside with Bernie. Bernie was Spectacular! So kind and full of knowledge. My favorite wines from the Tasting, 2022 Russian River Valley Pino Noir and the 2023 Russian River Valley Sauvignon Blanc. 10/10 recommend!

Such a lovely stop at Guerneville - Tim was a wonderful host to our wine tasting. We got the $45 per person package, some french brie and prosciutto with crackers that were just perfect complement. Highly recommended!

Wonderful experience with the best wine! Scott was amazing and spot on with the different tastes per wine, allowing us plenty of time to savor and enjoy each glass. The reserve wine tasting is not to be missed. Definitely a must visit on your trip to California wine country!

Bernie was a superb host and guide through an unrelenting and wide ranging span of questioning from our foursome. Took all the time in the world, with relevant, humorous and insightful responses and a true gift for hospitality in the most real, personal sense. The wines were really something special, and standing for a unique but highly successful take on Pinots just as Bernie boldly promised at the start.

What a fantastic tasting. Bernie was so welcoming and attentive. Presented the wines for a side by side comparison which allowed us to discover the nuances in the different Pinot noirs available. Bernie’s knowledge was superb and what a great representative for your brand. We are so glad to have chosen Merry Edwards for our tasting and you will not be disappointed.

Consistently the best Pinot Noir winery in the state. My second visit, and was even better than the first. Our host Scott made it a very special event. Hopefully my next visit is right around the corner! Do yourself a favor and stop by for a tasting.

Let me tell you....We were invited for a tasting with 2 members. The service was mediocre. More personal banter than about the wines. The prices for non-members and members were pretty clear on the menu. 3 of us were going to sign up. But.. when it came to pay. They overcharged everyone by 24.00. The 40.00 per. person for none members turned into 54. 00 and then 10.00 more for (tax or gratuity) not sure because nothing was clear. 64.00 total. The members were so embarrassed and will be canceling. I will never recommend or return. Good luck.

Had a delightful free tasting here as a member of Coopershawk. Beautiful Vinyard and outdoor tasting area. Laura was our tasting expert. She was delightful and knowledgeable. Bought some chocolates for pairing and a candle poured in a recycled wine bottle. The Pino and Cabernet were pretty good and I don't normally like dry wines. Great experience.

This is a beautiful winery on Olivet Road... worth the drive. The inside and the outside are beautifully kept. The staff are knowledgeable and kind. There's a lot of special areas on the property from the front lounge to arbor to pool in the back and a nice tasting room. A great place for a wedding or special event.

We had the best wine tasting ever at DeLoach Vineyards all because of our amazing host Laura! We joined the wine club at DeLoach thanks to her, and got some amazing recommendations on wine to buy, she made us a BEAUTIFUL charcuterie board and was very inviting and sweet! We will be back for more Laura ❤️❤️❤️

This winery not only makes wine but has a lovely back patio area that is awesome to do events at. We have been here many times and the location is not only beautiful but impeccably kept. The staff are always helpful and nice. We love it here.

What a beautiful winery! The wines are delicious, the grounds are gorgeous, and the staff are so helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Jeff took care of us, and his passion was contagious. He truly gets you excited about each wine.

Pairing tastings at Muscardini, especially with Karen, who is a master of food and wine pairings, are tremendous. This was probably our 6th pairing including 3 virtual ones from home. Our friends who joined us, both on the virtual ones in Ohio, and here, love them as well. We have always been amazed at how certain tastes really bring out the wine flavors.

We stopped by as they were on the Sonoma wine pass. Everyone one there was extremely welcoming and informational. We learned about grapes we didn't know about and had lovely conversations. Their wine is exceptionally good! A beautiful location and a must visit experience!

This place was great stop on the side of the road, Our server Nicole was lovely and patient and I love how she explained all the details, the highlight for me for “Tesoro” . If you are in the area and like reds I recommend taking a stop here and a ++ they take the wine pass so a great deal. Enjoy

Went for a wine tasting earlier this year and had a fantastic time here. The wine samples were good, the atmosphere was really chill, and there was no pressure to buy anything. It was amazing weather and they had plenty of outdoor seating plus some shaded seating if you wanted. Would absolutely go back.

We were very impressed by the wines, the service and wealth of knowledge Nick and Nicole shared. Although we are in many wine clubs we joined them because the wines are very good and additional benefits. The outdoors area is huge with great seating options and you can bring in your own picnic, which we did. Highly recommend this place.

My friends and I visited as part of a winery tour and it was a lovely stop. The wines were delicious and they had charcuterie boards for sale. The only negative, the property seems to have a wasp issue (they also love the charcuterie). Aside from that, would definitely recommend.

We had an amazing flight tasting with Tyler at Martin Ray Winery. Gorgeous setting! Excellent wines! Our favorite is the sparkling rose’ Tyler was very knowledgeable and has such a great sense of humor, he made it a very fun experience. They even provided us with gourmet snacks!! Highly recommend!!

Tried calling for a simple question about buying a bottle and enjoying on property, there is no ability to talk to someone you have to email them. Also the voicemail is super pretentious sounding.

I can't say enough great things about Martin Ray!! The wine, the property, the surroundings, the food, the staff - all AMAZING!! My husband and I hosted our wedding rehearsal "picnic" afternoon at Martin Ray. Upon first reaching out to them, we quickly heard back from Brooke (who is absolutely incredible) and Tyler (just as amazing!). Brooke is the Director of Hospitality. She is a former event planner and I can go on and on about how lucky we were to find this special gem of a place and her team! We hosted a 3 hour afternoon event at Martin Ray for our 25 closest family/ friends. We had the property to ourselves, while our guests enjoyed bocce ball, sat under the water misters (the way they set up the property you couldn't even tell it was 95+ degrees that day), drank DELICIOUS wine (We had the rose, sauv b, and pinot noir). Brooke & Tyler even coordinated the food service for us (Done onsite in their pizza ovens with local farmers market ingredients). Our guests loved the pizzas & fresh salads that Martin Ray made for us. It was set up on a beautiful table with a gorgeous presentation. Brooke's team recommended a local cookie company and even coordinating picking up the dessert options for us!! The day flowed so perfectly (the staff was so wonderful walking around filling our glasses up with plenty of cold water, chilled wine, and the pizza kept flowing from the fresh pizza oven). Our guests couldn't stop raving about beautiful the property is, how delicious the wine is (the rose on a hot day is out of this world!!), and how great the team onsite was. I'd love to have another event at Martin Ray and will HIGHLY recommend anyone who is looking for a great winery to visit! Whether it be for a day visit up to wine country or an event - this place is the place to go! THANK YOU Brooke, Tyler, and all the team at Martin Ray for making our wedding weekend so magical!! When planning our trip to Sonoma, my husband and I decided that we were in search of some good Syrahs. I found an article about the best Sonoma Syrahs that any Syrah lover should taste and looked into a few. How lucky were we to schedule a tasting at Donelan and find Syrahs and Chardonnays and Pinots that we loved! Chris called the day before our tasting and asked what types of wine we wanted to try. Talk about personal service! He absolutely hit the nail on the head. We tasted six wines along with a great cheese plate and spent two hours with him talking wine, food, travel and family. Chris made this an absolutely wonderful experience. Can’t wait to receive our 2 cases. Thanks for a very relaxed and personalized experience and thanks to the Donelan Family for making great wines!🍷

Donelan is a hidden gem. The tasting room, tucked away in a warehouse where they make their wines, offers an intimate and authentic atmosphere. My wife and I loved the experience, especially their incredible Syrah. Our host, Chris, was highly knowledgeable, making the tasting both educational and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

We were up in Santa Rosa to celebrate a special day, and decided to do a tasting at Donelan. While the website said they were closed on Tuesdays, they responded to an email and accommodated us! When we got there, we couldn’t believe the beautiful spread of cheeses, bread, olives, etc! Chris was really welcoming (yes, he was so nice I even remember his name!) and asked what kinds of wines we liked, and then customized the tasting for us. Unlike every other place, where you get tiny pours from already opened bottles (of unknown age), Chris was very generous with fresh bottles. He even had some well aged wines he shared with us. His expertise on winemaking and the whole process (grape sorting was literally going on in the room behind us!!) was really informative and helpful. All in all, this was the finest and most relaxing tasting experience of my life, and the Donelan Chardonnays and Syrahs are among the very best out there. And no, I have no financial interest in it, beyond the case we ended up buying.

If you can get past the fact that they are located in a functional industrial park, Donelan has some of the best syrah in California. The tastings are done in a room off of the functioning Winery, and feature about 6-8 wines, and ours was led by a gregarious employee who really knew his stuff. Overall a great experience!

Amazing wines!! We visited yesterday and wow!! Hands down !! We had such a great time and the Wine was soo good! Our host Sheila was fantastic- extremely friendly and knowledgeable!! A must try in your books! We will definitely visit again!

Do yourself a favor. Go. Get the tasting. They listened to the things we liked and recommended additional tasters and helped us pick two bottles. The wine is wonderful. Very easy drinkinging. The atmosphere is beautiful. Next to the river, gorgeous garden, and a bocce ball court!

Lovely setting on the Russian River. Our server was delightful and knowledgeable talking about the wines she poured - sparkling, white blend, chardonnay, pinot noir, zinfandel, and a fabulous cab! They were all delicious! Buy a bottle/pp and tasting is complimentary. You wont be disappointed!

This family not only has a amazing taste in wines and olive oils. But they are a big hearted family who supports their workers and community. They recently did a raffle for a young lady who is fighting for her life with cancer and was able to donate $8,700 to her family. So if your looking for flavor and love in a bottle this is your best choice

A quick stop from the airport, and shouldn't be missed! Great winery and our self-proclaimed "wine nerd" Sheila was amazing and very knowledgable. A family winery, and a refreshing change from the bigger establishments! Will def be back!

Enjoyable wines, but slow service. It's just not the same like before pandemic when you could taste inside the tasting room. The river was fun to see all the kayaks and the wildlife was fun to look at!!

We visited this winery during our honeymoon and had a wonderful experience. Kaitlyn conducted our wine tasting—she was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience engaging and enjoyable. The tasting itself was great, and the outdoor area is absolutely beautiful. We loved sipping wine while looking out at the grapevines. Tastings end at 4pm (even though they’re open till 5), which we actually appreciated—it gave us time to enjoy everything without feeling rushed. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

A place you want to come back to forever. What a hidden gem! This cozy winery offers something special almost every Friday, whether it's live music or comedy—they always have a fun event happening. The atmosphere is so inviting, it's the kind of place you'll want to return to again and again. The staff is incredibly accommodating and provides a truly personal experience. And the wines... So light... So smooth you could and can drink them all day. The Pinot Noir's are simply perfect and should be sampled if you are on the fence about what to get.

We were visiting California but were concerned about stopping at a vineyard with a 13 yo and 11 yo twin children in tow. This was the perfect place. Relaxed atmosphere with nice wines and the kids were completely fine (big sigh of relief)! Highly recommend for adults wanting to experience a bit of California’s wine country and a reprieve from all the kid oriented activities.

We showed up on a whim and Devon welcomed us openly. We were able to bring in our own food and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The grounds are so relaxed and lovely. We got an extra wine added to our tasting and it was a great day. I highly recommend this place. They were cool, fun, knowledgeable and great people!

It’s rare to find people doing what they love at work. Happy people = good tasting wine? In this case, definitely yes. They make a sustainable wine using compost made from grapes, and plants with deep roots that can take water from deep down in the earth. Wish they used a vegan emulsifier to clarify the wine though. In any case, we had an amazing experience. It’s a very family friendly place.

Visited for a wine tasting flight, and Hook & Ladder delivered! Taylor waited on us and was an absolute delight to have. The grounds are gorgeous and have so many seating areas that you're bound to find an amazing spot to enjoy while sipping.

The parking signage is not clear. I ended up paying for parking although only a nominal rate of $1.25. I was more worried about getting a ticket. Staff were very helpful in providing local area highlights & pointing out sights.

Went in to get info on the area,was in for 10 min and got a ticket,what a welcome,sign said 20 min!!!! What a rip off scam on visitors,jersey move city!

Stopped here to get some info on how to get the best of wine country while not being wine drinkers. Sylvia was very nice and informative. She shared her experiences and provided some discount coupons. We also got a bit of info from some other locals that happened in at the same time. Highly recommend visiting here to enhance your area experience.

Welcome Center full of information and history! It's funny that there's a welcome center hundreds of miles from the California border. Nonetheless, Staff was really friendly and knowledgeable.

I remember when this charming little historical building was a boarded up ruin back in the 90s. I am so glad they decided to restore it and turn it into a museum and visitor center. Railroad Square has always been great, but it's currently experiencing a peak these days, and I love it! And there's more restoration of historical old brick buildings right across the tracks! Can't wait to see the final result!

We used a Groupon to get a wine and cheese tasting for 2 for around $40. A definite must if you’re in the area! The surrounding area is so aesthetic and the patio in which you can taste test red wines and chilled wines is covered, which makes it a pleasant area to taste test. The entire staff was nice and helpful. I am newer to wine tasting and they described the wines with great knowledge. We even met the man who makes the wines and he was very nice to talk to and provided great detail about the wines we were drinking. Amazing experience and I would recommend it to everyone! Ended up buying a bottle of wine to bring the magic of harvest moon home with us.

AMAZING. We called around 4:45 knowing they closed at 6, to make sure it was okay that we'd be there about 45 minutes before closing. He said come on in and we'll take care of you. We had a wine and cheese board groupon, also. The cheese board was amazing. I normally don't like dry wines but the verdelho was phenomenal. We got a bottle of that. We loved the peppery zin that they had as well. The staff was pleasant and friendly...Randy was wonderful. Don't go if you're in a rush. This is a place that you go to take your time and enjoy the experience. Slow down, breathe, and drink some wine. I highly recommend this wonderful place.

What a nice experience. We had one of the best tastings ever. Wine is really good and I must say- some blends are pretty unique and interesting! I will not say which we liked the most not to bias you (but just is a case-they are on the photo). And last, but not least - hosts there are just awesome. I felt welcome and appreciated as a guest.

What a wonderful winery! We were thrilled to find this hidden gem, it was the best experience of our trip to wine country! Small, adorable ambiance, great staff and of course, the stars of our experience - the excellent wines! After tasting 4 or 5 wines, we were surprised to have Randy, the vintner/owner, bring us even more samples of wines that he was working on. His passion for winemaking was evident and we enjoyed learning more about the process. We loved all the varieties and can't wait to enjoy them back at home. My husband and I stopped by Harvest Moon to grab some sparkling wine to pop open after our elopement ceremony. We then went back a few days later for a tasting and had a great time. The folks who work here remembered us and were so friendly and kind! We live across the country, but we look forward to ordering some wines we didn’t get to try and tasting them at home.

Love this winery! We've been coming here for tastings for years and ended up joining the wine club within the past year. They keep getting better and better. The staff in the tasting room are always great, and the wines are excellent. I love the wide range of varietals and preparations, from Gewurztraminer to Zinfandel, sparking, rose, bold reds, and Kate harvest. The outdoor patio space is lovely and I've never felt rushed during the tasting. Highly recommend!
