Food was amazing, had fresh Calamaris and clam chowder soup for appetizer, Dungeness crab spaghetti for main--everything was flavorful and you can tell the freshness. Service was great, walked in did not have a reservation (I DO NOT RECOMMEND, GET RESERVATION WHEN YOU CAN), still catered to my little family and sat us by the bar. The hostess was very accommodating, and the rest of the waitstaff were 10/10.

Beautiful setting for any occasion! Friendly staff. Excellent menu. We enjoyed the white clam chowder, crab and shrimp cakes, and sole and lobster risotto mains. Hubs drank the California old fashioned. It came with the large ice he likes. Our waiter took our picture with the tiramisu decorated plate. Lovely dining experience.

Very nice restaurant! Bread is amazing. Our waiter was fantastic. They all pitch in to make sure your water and breast are never empty as well. Delicious meals!

The food are so delicious! We ordered clam chowder and prawn as starters, sweet scallop, lobster risotto, and fish as main courses. So good! The staff are friendly. We can enjoy the sea view while eating. There is a big mirror on the wall so people sitting on all sides can see the sea. Smart arrangement. Definitely will visit again.

I can genuinely say this is one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, everything—from the warm and attentive service to the incredible food—was absolutely top-notch. The dishes were served piping hot shortly after I placed my order, and every bite was bursting with flavor. I’ll admit, I didn’t even have the patience to take perfect photos because the food looked and smelled so amazing—I just had to dig in. It’s rare to find a place where both quality and care shine through so clearly. This meal left a lasting impression, and I can’t wait to come back.

If you're hungry and happen to be in Sausalito, dine at Scoma's! we stopped in for lunch recently. The managers and servers were very friendly and accommodating of our family of seven. Everything from the decor to the service was smooth, efficient and relaxed. The water view and bay windows made everything gorgeous. My cioppino was delicious, as was the pear and arugula salad. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. This may be TMI, but the men's room even has a privacy curtain. I've never seen that before! Good on them! I hope to return someday. Thanks for a memorable family lunch!

The food and service for our belated anniversary celebration were excellent. We were seated by the windows with a view of the bay and San Francisco skyline. We started with a cocktail each. The California Old-fashioned came out round 1 in a chipped glass. To be safe, we had it taken back and replaced with a new drink with no fuss. It was good. She had a Sausalito Blossom from the seasonal menu. It was delicious! We shared a crab cake appetizer. My cake was flawless and flavorful. Wife did pull some shell out of hers but otherwise enjoyed it. For mains, I had the seared ahi tuna and she enjoyed the scallops. Both were excellent. We enjoyed each bite. We were surprised with a complimentary ice cream dessert. We enjoyed that to cap off our meal and our week in California. I would return to try more menu items and specials.

When in Sausalito, you “have” to eat at Fish! It’s our go-to spot, mainly because their fish smash burger never disappoints—hands down our favorite, plus, the skinny fries are, yes, skinny, and crispy, as they should! This time, we decided to try the clam dip since we never had it before. It was good, but nothing mind-blowing in terms of flavor; probably wouldn’t order it again. We also gave the tuna sandwich a shot and were pleasantly surprised. The bread was pan-fried to perfection, and everything came together really nicely. Just a side note: we tried the trout hot dog about four visits ago. Unfortunately, that one was a miss for us. It was overly salty and lacked flavor. The salt may have masked the flavor? We only ordered it because it was advertised as award-winning, but sadly, we didn’t agree and haven’t ordered it since. Bottom line: get the fish smash burger. Always worth it!

INCREDIBLE food and great atmosphere. We got the chowder, salmon smash burger, and crab roll. All were flavorful and unique. I was pretty skeptical about the salmon burgers (I often find them dry and the flavor okay) but this salmon smash burger made me question everything. There’s also a good selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. We ate at the restaurant along the water, and it was just lovely. Will be back!

I really enjoyed the food at Fish, honestly, is was pretty well done. The fish was crispy, if a bit greasy, and was in some huge portions. We also got garlic bread, which was amazing, definitely recommend. Among a few other things we got that were very well done. The things is, the wait for the food was incredibly long for what we did end up getting and the price did seem a bit high for the atmosphere (on some random port and filled with a seat-yourself and be eventually served idea) which didn't quite meet what I expected. Still amazing and the food was heart-attack greasy and good that I could eat again. I'm not sure if this is truly a 5 star review, perhaps similar to Harris' is the way that it is 4.5 stars. 5 star if you're going with more casual vibes, 4 star if not.

Consistently good food! We enjoyed everything we ordered: * Glad Hand salad * oysters - we ordered a combo of fresh and bbq * cod fish and chips * spicy poke bowl There was a line even before it opened and we were just in time to still have tables available to us.

I absolutely LOVE Fish. I am from out of town, so I don’t get to visit often, but whenever I am visiting my friends in the Bay Area I make a point to stop by and enjoy a meal at Fish. Everything is so fresh and flavorful. Plenty of options for all sorts of palates. I got the ceviche and red chowder. Both were so very tasty and I couldn’t get enough. We also had the white chowder, fish tacos, poke bowl, and fish and chips. Not a single bite survived. A bit pricey but oh so very good! Can’t beat the views and vibes here.

Stopped in on a quick trip over from San Francisco. The staff were lovely and the food was fantastic. The portions were enormous. Definitely a great spot kind of out of the way to enjoy a sunny patio meal. The Portuguese chowder was different and delicious. I had to go with the class fish and chips, too.

This place has a beautiful water facing view and great vibes. However I found the food to be subpar. We ordered fried artichoke, Chicken Pesto Pizza and garlic bread. Garlic bread was definitely my favorite. I wouldn't recommend the other too. The service was good and quick.

We went to this restaurant and the food was honestly really good. I was very satisfied. The atmosphere was great, and everything from the service to the overall vibe was just right. I’d definitely go back again. The only thing is that it’s a bit far from me, so I might not be able to go as often. If it were closer, I’d probably be there every weekend!

Bar Bocce exceeded all expectations! The cod fritters, eggplant fritters, meatball sliders, and pizza were all absolutely delicious — each dish bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The view is fantastic, creating the perfect backdrop for a great meal. Service was phenomenal, attentive, and friendly. Plus, we got seated fairly quickly, which made the experience even better. We put in our names in around 2pm on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend specifically asking for an outdoor seat (which requires you to order food), and were told it would be about 1 hour. The wait actually ended up being closer to 2 hours but this worked out in our favor as we were able to explore Sausalito during that time. We had great seats right by the view of all the boats. Be aware there is a patch of sand and some seating in front of the restaurant that is open to the public. I ordered the chicken quinoa salad and sangria and my friend ordered the shaved fennel and artichoke salad and an iced tea. I liked my salad though thought it was a little light on chicken. My friend also felt the same way about the avocado on her salad. Great place to relax and enjoy the view.

Delicious salmon and Kobe chuck lasagna. The atmosphere is amazing and the wait staff does not rush your experience.

This is a great spot to stop for a drink or a meal with a view of the bay. We might have hit it on a bad day but the service was very slow. The food was all very good but pricey for what you get.

Le Garage in Sausalito continues to be one of the Bay Area’s best hidden gems, even after nearly two decades of excellence. On my most recent visit, I had the grilled chicken sandwich — and it was absolutely divine. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and tender, paired with fresh, quality ingredients that elevated a simple sandwich into something memorable. Whether you’re a local or visiting for the first time, Le Garage is a place that quietly impresses every time. It’s the kind of spot you almost want to keep to yourself, but it’s just too good not to share.

Everything was AMAZING. I'm not sure why this place only has 4.4 stars (at the time of writing this), but from the atmosphere to the food and the staff, you can't go wrong. Every flavor is matched beautifully, and the portions were light yet full of flavor. This is a great spot in Sausalito. Servers were very attentive, and food was well made and fresh. Great ambiance and views. Highly recommend the eggs Benedict and mussels.

Modern French menu choices. A few more options would move it to a 5 star for me. Our waitress happened to be flighty and the busser took my plate while i was still chewing. The other staff seemed solid. I'll update when I visit next.

As a french man, I felt like at home. The food was beautiful. I had the bouillabaisse, it was amazing, perfect flavors, nicely filled with seafood. For desert the crème brûlée was perfectly crafted and the tarte tatin was divine !😊

Great view of the marina, lovely to eat outside when the weather is nice. The food is great, we had brunch: the galette, the baked oysters, chickpea fries and the mushroom tart. The food was great and on point, quality ingredients and fast service. Totally recommend it.

The restaurant is in a very unique location. You can see the bay bridge and San Francisco City skyline from the windows. The food is excellent with very good service. It is a nice place to enjoy food, service and peaceful mind.

For us, as tourists, this restaurant captures very well the Sausalito spirit! Awesome views to the bay and lots of light, classy people, elegant ambience and food that clearly stands above average. Prices are also above average but balanced given the quality of the food and experience. We enjoyed the sea platters and the excellent desserts, although as Europeans we prefer all fresh fish specialties with much less sauce on them or even none at all. Staff are highly professional and gentle, and we were treated with much attention overall.

Can’t beat the view! Wish the food matched that. Average at its best. Had fish n chips n left being blotted all evening, definitely pass on that. Mahi-mahi on special menu of the day was just okay. Will definitely go back for the view and drinks, esp around sunset.

The oysters were very nice but the restaurant had a few issues. Anything fried in oil was a red flag. The fries I received were either overcooked or prepared with lower quality oil. The waiter asked how my food was - I mentioned it was okay except the fries have not my expectations. He giggled and shrugged it off and continued. While the restaurant has killer views - I wouldn’t go back for the service and quality of food. I ended up only giving a 8% gratuity due to the poor service and food I received. The attention to detail this restaurant has and the prices of the food were not matched. Wouldn’t go back here.

Clam chowder was spectacular! The Branzino was an amazing entrée and finished with the tri- chocolate mousse was the perfect ending to the meal! Indoor or outdoor seating doesn't matter! You'll find amazing views everywhere, don't skip this one

The view is fantastic, but the food and service are just average. Some of the furniture could use repair, our table was wobbly and shook every time we moved a dish. It affected the overall dining experience.

Beautiful view! We made reservations so we were seated right away. Service was ok, the person serving the bread didn't check when we asked about the egg allergy but the waiter did finally. Waiter had no knowledge on wine which seemed odd given all the wine awards displayed. The food was just ok. The special was branzino and it was overcooked. The squash soup was good. Fish and chips was hearty.

There is no shortage of sushi places in the Bay Area but this Sausalito classic is in a category of its own. Truly outstanding sushi at prices that are reasonable given the quality. All of that on the Bay is Sausalito. They also have a great sake choice and good Coravin wine selection

The food was fresh and the service was attentative. The sashimi platters and various rolls were good and unique. The miso glazed salmon was gluten free and one of the best I've ever had and comes highly recommended.

We came to dine while there was an SF Restaurant week. Everything we had was excellent and amazing. BUT, the disappointing thing was we had to enjoy SAKE in a wine glass.

I was visiting Sausalito and had read some reviews of this being a favorite for decades. It did not disappoint. Sat at the bar, had fantastic service and some of the best, freshest sushi I've ever tasted. Highly recommend.

Sushi Ran offers a cozy and intimate dining experience, perfect for a romantic dinner or a quiet meal with friends. They also have an outdoor seating area. While the service was friendly, the pacing between courses was quite slow, which detracted slightly from the overall experience. We dined at Sushi Ran during SF Restaurant Week. The seaweed salad, while fresh, was a bit too crunchy for my preference. However, the Surf and Turf was a standout. The wagyu steak was cooked to perfection, juicy and tender, and the red miso sauce complemented it beautifully. The miso-glazed black cod was also a highlight. The fish was cooked to a flaky perfection, and the glaze added a rich, savory flavor. The toffee cake with spiced caramel and ginger gelato was a delightful conclusion to the meal. The warm cake paired perfectly with the cold, creamy gelato, creating a delightful contrast of textures and flavors. We also sampled the tempura oysters, which were crispy and light, with a perfectly cooked oyster inside. Their nigiri was also fresh and each nigiri included a thick cut of the fish. Also, $15 for some fresh Hokkaido uni was a pretty good deal (usually restaurants charge MP for uni but Sushi Ran had a fixed price). Overall, Sushi Ran is a solid choice. While the service could be improved, the quality of the food was good.

San Francisco. Sushi Ran was on top of the list for restaurants to visit as I saw it in a few different reviews. We loved the food so much that we came back again the next day to try other items on the menu. First the service was excellent and everyone was so kind and friendly. We even had the owner surprise us during our meal on the first night. Two of our favorites was the Miyazaki A5 beef which had incredible texture and a clean finish on the palate. The ikura chawanmushi was a beautiful dish to eat and to feed your eyes with. The texture was pleasant and had wonderful flavors of the sea. The next time we are in Sausalito we will definitely be visiting Sushi Ran again.

Stopped at Trident after biking across the Golden Gate Bridge — such a perfect spot to unwind! They kindly offered free bike parking, which was a great bonus. The oysters were absolutely fresh and flavorful, and the fried calamari and shrimp were perfectly crispy and delicious. Great food, welcoming service, and unbeatable views. Highly recommend! 🦪🚲🌉

The food here was delicious! My waiter seemed a little off, not sure how to describe it and there were a lot of flies clustered around the restaurant. I would probably opt to order out moving forward.

The view, even on a cloudy day is amazing! The service warm, friendly, excellent. I really enjoyed my lunch there . Need I say more? Go!

Upon arriving and parking valet is on site. Believe it is $10 an hour could be mistaken. Arriving inside you are greeted by a nice wooden interior with plenty of windows to look at the bay and distant San Francisco city. The food itself is a bit on the pricier side but given the area it is expected. I ordered the Maine lobster tail which was about $68. The wait did not take too long. The veggies were great and the lobster tail was delicious. Overall a bit nice and pricy then I’m used to but good upscale with beautiful scenery.

Full disclosure, we didn't plan on eating here. We pulled in to valet for the restaurant next door, but we're told parking was for Trident patrons only so we stayed. Let me tell you, fate brought us to the right place! It has a charming, old-school interior, an amazing location on the water (we saw a seal and multiple dolphins), strong, boozy cocktails to help you unwind and damn good food to sober you up after day drinking. Plus, with no wait for a table at lunchtime on a Saturday, it was a win all the way around for me.

Nice place to visit for the historical aspect but otherwise not worth the effort. The table was sticky and the place needs a deep clean and renovation. The Tequila Sunrise was average, my Chowder was good but everyone else was disappointed with their food. Nice view of the bay and SF and when every other restaurant was booked at 7pm on a Saturday, now we know why this one wasn’t. Cool Stones story and only in Marin County does the Gov’t put up a plaque memorializing the story quoting Keith Richards and the 72 Cocaine and Tequila Sunrise US tour.

This restaurant is so very good! Beautiful views, nice staff, and very satisfying food. This is my favorite restaurant to meet my Aunties for lunch. I had the lobster roll and a bowl of clam chowder. Delicious!

We love coming here on weekends, great spot to walk around and enjoy a meal. The pasta is always our favorite, and today’s scallops were amazing. Salad was fresh too. Food can be hit or miss sometimes (dinner is usually better than afternoon), but overall, highly recommend.

Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This Italian restaurant is an absolute gem! The food flavors are mouthwatering from start to finish. The halibut was so fragrant and delicious that people at the next table asked us what it was on the menu! The burrata was heavenly, creamy and fresh, and both the soup and salad were outstanding. Every bite felt like a celebration of authentic Italian flavors. Truly an unforgettable dining experience!

We enjoyed it here but it didn't quite live up to its reputation. Service was very good and it would be a 3.5 if the half point was available. We found it to be on the expensive side. Good wine list and drink selection. The atmosphere was nice but nothing special. The food was good but not amazing as the prices would dictate. Our server was amazing, very helpful. We got a pizza with figs on the top. They said they keep the pizza dough in the fridge overnight. It’s legit, you should try! Also a pasta and pork chop dishes were good too.

Poggio’s is a Sausalito staple. Great for drinks at the bar with friends, nice lunch in their outdoor bistro seating, or a fancier dinner for a celebration. Our table took 20 minutes longer than our reservation time, so we got cocktails at the bar (the martinis are great). When we finally sat down in a back of the room booth, it was still quite loud, so just a note for your audience. We got the wood fired flatbread which is like thin crust pizza dough that’s crispy in the edges, covered in oil and garlic. Simple but delicious. For appetizers, the burrata with pesto was large, and the pesto alone was amazing. The prosciutto and melon (it was honeydew) was as expected but still good. For mains, the risotto was exceptional, full of flavor and tons of seafood. The pappardelle pasta dish was decadent with a quail ragu (and an impressive amount of meat). The spaghetti alla amatriciana was simple, but well executed with a good portion of sauce. For the non-pasta lovers, the short rib was fantastic with the creamiest polenta. It was a little strange that a large (cooked) onion was just added to the dish, but good nonetheless. Wrapping up with dessert, the budino is the chocolate lava cake of your dreams. Even non-chocolate lovers will appreciate it. If you do have allergies, they’re great about confirming with the kitchen since some ingredients aren’t listed on the menu. Biggest highlight of the night was our waiter Jamsheed. He was attentive, thoughtful, helpful, and did his job with flare. Will definitely asked for him next time we come!

Food was good and we were taken in without any reservation which was awesome. The servers were very courteous. I wish they had more vegetarian options though.

This is my fourth time coming here, and the service with Francesco is always the best. He always explains the menu to me. He always tells me the specials of the day. And I always want to come back because he… Every time I come here, he makes my day special. I love the service he gives me, and that’s why I keep coming back to this restaurant.

I recently dined at The Barrel House Restaurant and unfortunately left feeling underwhelmed. While I had hopes for a pleasant experience, the reality fell short in several key areas. The Food The most significant letdown was the cuisine itself. The dishes we ordered were disappointingly bland and lacked any real depth of flavor. Whether it was underseasoning or just uninspired preparation, nothing on our table had that memorable quality you hope for when dining out. For a restaurant, having flavorless food is unfortunately a critical miss. The Service On a more positive note, the service was acceptable. Our server was attentive enough and the staff handled their duties professionally. It wasn’t exceptional by any means, but it was competent and got the job done without any major issues. Final Thoughts Given the lackluster food quality, I can’t in good conscience recommend The Barrel Restaurant. While the service was passable, dining out is primarily about the food experience, and that’s where this establishment fundamentally misses the mark. There are simply too many other options available that offer better flavor and value for your money. Unless significant improvements are made to the kitchen​​​​​​​​​.

Absolutely brilliant as always! Cocktails were delicious (watermelon martini),starter (tacos) were out of this world and then there's steak sandwich 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 10/10 as always! We were served by Brianna too and she was such a sweetheart and so attentive. Thank you to everyone who looked after us today!

We had a great time at the Barrel House Tavern. Oysters Florentine was great, the mini tacos were just perfectly sized. The place is busy so a tad noisy but a great place if you want water views. And bonus, you could see the Blue Angels' performance on the horizon.

This was one of the few restaurants on my list for Sausalito, and since this was the closest to the biking path from San Francisco and we were famished, we decided to eat here. They don’t really have bike parking, so you have to go to the ferry building and park there. There was a 30 minute wait, but we got a table in close to 15 minutes. The restaurant itself is beautiful. It is huge and modern with a lot of different seating areas. They also have an outdoor seating area directly facing the sea, but it is not ideal for groups. The service was prompt and very personable. The restaurant was fully packed, but still we felt taken care of. We had a few vegetarians in the group and the menu had few vegetarian dishes as well. The food was hit or miss to be honest. I loved the shrimp, calamari and octopus fritters. It was really fresh and extremely crispy. The sandwiches were solid, but nothing crazy. My short rib was very nicely cooked, but the cauliflower purée lacked any seasoning. My friends vegetarian flatbread was also extremely bland. I guess you can give this place a try for its amazing ambience and service, but I wouldn’t come here just for the food.

UPDATE: I was able to speak with one of the AGM‘s at this location. They will get back to me on how to coordinate about rectifying this and I am beyond grateful he was very kind and listened to what I had to say. Final update: I don’t believe a few words can truly express how much I have to say about this restaurant. Last night, I felt genuine warmth and care from the entire team especially when we were approached by Atilla and Lance. They were so apologetic for our past experience, and I sincerely appreciate them for taking the time to listen and understand where we were coming from. Atilla, it was wonderful seeing you again! We first met on our very first visit, and you’ve been just as kind and professional as ever. Lance, we’re also so glad you remembered our family! I always see you walking around, checking in with guests and staff your attentiveness shows in every detail. Thank you for keeping communication open and making sure everything went perfectly. Lance treated us to a caviar bump, what a unique and fun experience! The caviar was fresh and delicious, and the sake paired beautifully. A huge thank you to Arnulfo, who was kind, attentive, thoughtful and such a great singer! He surprised my daughter by singing her happy birthday, and Lance joined in too. It meant so much that they took the time on such a busy night. My daughter was shy but absolutely thrilled, she talked about it the whole way home and said how special it made her feel, especially seeing her favorite waitress, Taylor… Taylor, thank you for asking my daughter if it was okay to give her a hug, that level of thoughtfulness really touched us. Now, the food, where do I even begin? For appetizers, we had the Three-Tier Seafood Tower, which was absolutely top tier. It included fresh clams, oysters, ceviche, taro chips, caviar, shrimp, and lobster tail. Everything was fresh and perfectly prepared, we couldn’t get enough! Even my daughter, who isn’t the biggest seafood fan, dug in and loved the shrimp. It was a true highlight of the meal. The burgers were cooked perfectly medium rare, juicy, flavorful, and delicious. The fries were fresh, crisp, and seasoned perfectly. My steak was incredible! cooked exactly to my liking, tender, and full of flavor. Huge thanks to the kitchen staff and chef for the care they put into every dish. For dessert, we had the Butterscotch Bread Pudding, Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Ice Cream, and an Espresso Martini. I don’t even have much of a sweet tooth, but everything was outstanding! The bread pudding was warm, rich, and melted in every bite, absolutely divine. Hands down, we had a phenomenal time. Thank you all for reminding us why we continuously choose this restaurant for dinner. The service was top tier Last night, I truly felt like family. Atilla, Lance, Arnulfo, and Taylor, thank you again for your kindness, attentiveness, and care. It was a night to remember, and we look forward to many more visits.

Not a 5 star review just for the shitty attitude from the entrance hostesses, the girl looking at us like rating us or what not even a welcome not even a hi not even nothing. POOR customer service from the girl, if she doesn't wanna work there just quit. Alfonso our waiter was amazing excellent customer service, excellent seller, excellent behavior, his helper was above and beyond. Food was incredible! Juicy, tasty, just amazing. Timing was earlier than expected. My whole experience great. Just the entrance experience was worst than poor. Btw looks like a manager a white tall guy with shirt and tie pass by multiple times but not even a single stop to out table to greet or ask how was everything. I'll definitely go somewhere else before returning here.

Amazing view whether you're overlooking the marina or hiding away in the romantic hideaway booths. Service was super fast, staff very caring. We started with rhe clam chowers, traditional and spicy, A+ on the spicy. I love green olives traditionally with white wine but here, they are battered... yum ! Main plates were Alfredo Linguine with crab and Fish and Chips. Amazing proportion of the cheese in the garlic pasta. Fish was delicious. The chips are not french fries rather mini air fried potatoes. I'm not big on the over powering fishy taste so this plate hit it out the ballpark. Did not realize same owner of Dead Fish, one of our other go to favorite spots. Highly recommend for date night.

Salito’s Crab House & Prime Rib has a great location with beautiful waterfront views and a lively atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the dining experience pleasant. We ordered seafood dishes that looked delicious and were served hot and fresh. However, the food was a bit too salty for our taste. Overall, it’s a nice spot to enjoy seafood and good service, but the seasoning could be toned down a bit.

Beautiful view of the bay with fresh seafood. The Dungeness crab in garlic oil was delicious, and the calamari was also very crispy. Our favorite was the crab cakes which had a lot of crab meat and crispy outside. Great place to eat some seafood on a sunny weekend.

We wanted to visit Sausalito, and once there we decided to have lunch. We checked google and find this place, best decision ever. The restaurant is conveniently ubicated in the marina, so every table has sea views. To start, the place is gorgeous. But the people there and the food, doest not stand behind. We asked for the 2 kind of Clam chowder and we can not agree which one was better. We felt amazing there. This is the best place to dinner in the area

Great stop while in Sausalito. Enjoyed the food - clam chowder, pasta and other mains. Beautiful view of the water and the yachts. So pro tip would be to get seated by the window by the water if possible.

Came here to have lunch and the servers are really nice, But really disappointed with the food, Calamari was good, cheesesteak was okay but only had a bite since my husband gave me a spoon full of his Order which is the Crab enchiladas. It was Horrible, it was bad already and smells ammonia, so we weren't able to finish the food, After that bite I ran to the bathroom and threw up 🤮. Still paid for the other food we ordered and didn't even eat because the Crab enchiladas ruined our appetite. Service was good, But It was a horrible experience with the food.

I was excited to try this hyped restaurant, but unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. The prices seemed fair at first, but once I received my portions, I realized they were much smaller than expected for the price. I had sampled the food, but then they charged me for a full-sized dish, which felt misleading. Another downside was the manager – while it’s nice to check in with customers, the manager was too talkative. He came to our table three times during the meal, which was more disruptive than pleasant. Overall, I think there’s room for improvement in both the service and portion sizes. It wasn’t the experience I was hoping for, especially with all the hype surrounding it.

Incredible place, and the host is quite the character. Friendly and great service. This place has been around awhile and serves fresh farm to table dishes expertly crafted and inspired from around the world that are as unique and creative as they are delicious. If I had the ability to give them a Michelin star I would. Oh and get the dessert.

Probably one of the most astounding meals I’ve ever had. The owner of the restaurant is honestly incredible. The food is immensely healthy yet tasty. So light! But so delicious. He cooked us a custom vegetarian dish. Coming here was a whole experience lol

There's indoor and outdoor seating depending on your preference and the weather. While there is a menu you can order from, you can also ask the owner to make you a dish based on the protein, veggies, and spice level you would like. A few logistic things: There's a free parking lot, and you can order food to pick up ahead of time.

This place is an absolute gem. And if you are on the fence you should come for the dessert. I could take glamour shots all day.

Copita in Sausalito is an excellent spot for authentic Mexican food. The dishes are flavorful and well-prepared, and the atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming. On top of that, the drinks and tequila selection are fantastic — some of the best I’ve had. It’s a great place to relax, enjoy real Mexican cuisine, and sip a perfectly crafted cocktail while taking in the Sausalito vibe. Highly recommended!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve been coming to Copita for years—probably a dozen times by now—and it never disappoints. The tequila selection is outstanding, and the service is always friendly and on point. The food is consistently very good: the watermelon salad is refreshing and delicious, the habanero salsa is fire (you definitely have to ask for it if you like heat—it’ll blow your mind!), and the enchiladas are rich and flavorful. I personally prefer white meat chicken over dark, but that’s just a small preference in an otherwise great dish. Overall, this place is one of my go-to spots in Sausalito for a fun, vibrant meal. Great drinks, great staff, great atmosphere—highly recommend!

I once had tacos here, maybe 4-5 years ago. Till date I haven’t had better, more delicious, tacos ever! Cooked with the perfect balance of flavours and tenderness of meat. No wonder this place has received michelin star.

The cauliflower tacos were dynamite! First time having such memorable tacos. The guac and corn on the cob were good. But cauliflower tacos were the highlight of the meal!

This is a go-to for me when I have visitors from out of town. Awesome food, really best of kind in Marin. The empanadas are to die for, tacos delish, atmosphere super festive and right on the main area near ferry in Sausalito. Super crowd pleaser! Often crowded (wait time) during peak hours and weekends. Unfortunately our experience here was disappointing. I was so excited to try Copita because I have celiac and it is so frustrating to have to ask questions about allergy safety and cross contamination protocols every time I try to eat at a restaurant. They advertise as 100% gluten free which is why I immediately got nervous when the couple at the table next to us were drinking regular glutinous beers. After looking at Find Me Gluten Free, many other restaurants in Sausalito have great celiac safety ratings and next time we will dine elsewhere. That being said the food didn’t get me sick and tasted fine but it was absolutely drowning in grease. I felt a different kind of ill after our meal because of how much oil was pooling around the dish. The worst part was the service which was honestly very poor. We asked to sit outside and they tucked us away into the corner where we were ignored for a while. We ordered chips with our entrees and they forgot to add them onto our order. After getting up to find an employee not once, not twice but THREE times they finally brought us chips after the other two people in our party had already finished their meals. The server said she’d take it off our bill for the inconvenience and of course once I got up for a fourth time to find someone to bring the bill, they tried to charge us for the chips and looked at me like I was a piece of garbage when I said we’d already been told it wouldn’t be on the bill. Nobody asked how our food was or thanked us for dining there.

This is a must-have stop breakfast place evrrytime I go now I went and got my food within less than ten minutes we had the vegetable fritata, the ham omelet, lemon blueberry scone and a fruit tart , the chef was amazing and funny and great personality , idk how this place doesn't have a Michelin star, this place is truly immaculate and had beautiful views of the oceanfront highly reccomend to any and all people whether you're a tourist or local

I was only in the bay area for a weekend and my friends who live in the bay wanted to take me to Sausalito. We stopped here for lunch around 2 pm. I was so excited to see so many options that were vegetarian friendly, as that was a big issue as we were looking for somewhere to eat. Overall the food was okay. I was kind of disappointed in the idea of this being a "Spanish" omelette (iykyk). The waitress, Alisha, also forgot my toast and my friend's side order of meatballs and we had to remind her. We ate outside and there was a bee that kept landing on our food and interrupting our meal. I asked the waitress about it and she said it regularly happens. The food was good. I can't complain about the flavor. However, as we were finishing up, we did feel a bit rushed when a lady who wasn't even our server came out and asked us to pay and didn't even give us time to discuss whose card we would put it on. She was very insistent in the moment pointing at my friend asking her to pay then and there because it was 2:55 and they close at 3:00. As someone who works in hospitality, this is not the type of service I would expect from such a popular establishment.

The Lighthouse Café offers indoor and outdoor dining, but our visit left us underwhelmed. We waited more than 30 minutes for a table, only to find the food uneven. The mixed fruit pancakes came out slightly burnt and surprisingly bland, though the portion was generous. The Danish plate was better, but not enough to make up for the rest. Both the hot and cold coffees were weak—the hot one lukewarm and the cold one watered down. Overall, after such a long wait, the experience was more disappointing than satisfying.

A Solid Winner! My husband and I are always on the hunt for a good classic American breakfast, and The Lighthouse definitely delivered 🙌🏽This place easily made it into our top 5 diner experiences! They've got all the diner staples you'd expect, plus some nice danish inspired surprises on the menu. Our breakfast was really tasty and came out just the way we ordered it, always a good sign! What really stood out, though, was the staff. These folks were genuinely friendly and worked together like a smooth running machine. It's one of those places where you can tell the team actually enjoys working together, and that energy definitely rubbed off on us as customers. The food at San Drino Pizza & Vino is authentic, but it didn’t fully align with my preferences. Pizza: The pizza leaned too heavily on the cheese for my taste, with not enough veggies to balance it out. While it’s clearly crafted with care, the flavor profile didn’t win me over. Service: The staff was polite and attentive, but the service felt a bit slow at times. It could’ve been more prompt to match the restaurant’s otherwise high standards. Ambience: The ambience is cozy and charming, with a unique, welcoming vibe that sets the tone for a relaxed meal. San Drino delivers authenticity and a great atmosphere, even if the pizza didn’t quite suit my palate.

All I’m gonna say is that we came here very suddenly because every other places were closed from 4-5pm and that’s beautiful. Music is amazing ( calming and beautiful, that makes to feel super cozy), Service is so good with pleasant atmosphere and so many Italian stories. Food is 10/10 believe me I’m very picky! Make sure to try Panna cotta they do it differently with pistachio cream

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch here yesterday. The Caesar salad had the freshest lettuce and the Greco pizza was superb. I only wish our server spoke some English as it was extremely difficult to communicate with her. At least she smiled when we asked her a question.

Incredible! I almost believe that the description of the restaurant doesn’t fit the true experience while eating here as well as quality of the food, wine and service. Came with a friend and had a salad, their special lasagna that day was truly the best I’ve ever had. Fabulous salad and a generous glass of delicious wine topped off with tiramisu and a cappuccino. To die for! We were waited on by the owner and he was so kind and appreciative of our compliments. The best restaurant during my 10 day Sausalito stay and one of the best meals I’ve had in a restaurant in ages. We will be back!

Great food, great wine. Outdoor tables are great! Service was unfortunately very poor and very pricey for what you get. We were left alone the entire meal, having to grab the attention of one of the two servers when we needed something. Waited over 20 to minutes for the bill, and eventually needed to go find a server inside to pay. As great as this place was, I will not be back.

Fantastic pizza. Some of the best pizza I've had in a while. We had two pizzas a spicy garlic pizza and the classic Margherita. Both were absolutely fantastic. We got the caprese salad as well which I felt could have done with some balsamic and the gnocchi. The gnocchi was unlike any I've had before but it was really great. The tiramisu was to die for but the chocolate cake wasn't as wonderful. Overall I'd still wholeheartedly give the 5 stars. Fantastic service from Monica and her husband, absolutely lovely people!

Nothing will ever beat sitting behind the restaurant - overlooking the pier that directly led to the ocean - on a sunny, breezy afternoon while eating the falafel sandwich. The food was so deliciously comforting - the falafel was warm, the ciabatta was perfectly soft, and the salty fries had that exact crunchy/rough exterior with a pillowy interior you’d want. Would love to come back!

Great spot for a casual lunch on the water. Front of house ordering and self seating adds to the simplicity of this spot. They're definitely kid friendly and it's a great spot to enjoy the sun, or view from afar. The pulled pork tacos are delicious and the chicken sandwich is loaded. I've been back multiple times, and will likely again!

Joinery is a beautiful waterfront spot in Sausalito to grab a casual lunch and beer. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Great beer selection! Loved the rotisserie chicken dinner (1/2 CHICKEN PLATE) which comes with potatoes and salad. The cold Radlers were delicious after a full morning of biking. Staff were very friendly! Fantastic casual dining spot in Sausalito, right on the water! You can dine in the spacious group dining room or outdoor on the patio along water - if dining outside, be aware that hungry pigeons are underfoot waiting for crumbs, but they’re not as aggressive as they are in other areas I’ve been to. You pay for order and take a table with your order number, and they’ll deliver to your table. The menu caters to a variety of tastes, including some great vegetarian options like the Burrata + Butternut Squash. The burrata was fresh and creamy, and the generous slice of country bread featured a crispy crust and warm tender crumb. If one of your dining companions gets the Fried Chicken Sandwich, ask for some of their arugula to go with your burrata - trust me, you’ll love it. The milk shake was also generous with the ice cream - the paper straw it comes with will soften before you get through it!

Great place for a more casual dinner on the bay. Right on the harbor, order at the front, and then find an open table. Food was good and place was full of families. Overall a fun atmosphere and great to be there on the water! Parking cost just under $9 for 2 hrs right to the left of the restaurant.

The food drinks and location was really good. Loved the burrata and their bread was so soft and fresh! The best I have had in a while. The service can be a little better.

fantastic!! kitchen was fast and the vibe inside + views were nice, and my 1/2 chicken plate was delicious, great potatoes too. i also got the brussels, which were very crispy and great with the sauce.

Chill environment. Music was low so you can have a normal conversation. There are a couple of TVs on. They have a full bar and draft beers. We just shared the onion rings. They were crispy with fresh onions. When you bit into them they had a crunch and the entire onion didn't pull out it came with Chipotle aioli and ranch.

I went here yesterday, and it was a really nice spot. The atmosphere was beautiful, very Napa-style, elegant and cozy inside, with a clean and pleasant vibe. The service was okay, nothing too special, but fine overall. We ordered an Angus beef burger with American-style hot dog sausage, and it was delicious. The highlight for me was definitely the sweet potato fries, seriously amazing, super crispy and flavorful. Although they did have a slight taste of old frying oil. Other than that, the food was great, prices were fair, and it’s a place I’d definitely visit again.

The food was ok. The burger and fries were delicious. Our son did not like the chicken fingers. They were not fresh. Tasted like they were frozen. Two children thought the grilled cheese was ok. They were prepared on burger buns. One son had the kids burger and was happy. The golden margaritas are strong and delicious. The restaurant was very busy during lunch. The ambiance is kind of a pub like feel. The service was fast and friendly.

I do not have much to say except it's hands down my best burger ever. I've been there in 2018 & now in 2025 - nothing changed, always a great team, nice service & amazing burgers. You need to go there !

I never say "no" to a good burger.....and I'm certainly glad I didn't say "no" to this one! I ordered the "Sausalito Burger" and it ranks amongst the best burgers I've ever had, although a bit on the messy side (but what great burgers aren't?)! The accompanying fries were also cooked to perfection! The service was beyond efficient and the washrooms were spotlessly clean. Give them a try!!! I'll be returning!!!

This is one of the better dining options in Sausalito. Having said that, the food is good, but not amazing. We just wanted something super quick after having biked a good 5 miles, so we were just glad to get a seat. We sat at the bar. The bartender was pretty nice. We ordered a beer and a sangria. The sangria was delicious. I always rate my sangrias based on how much wine I taste, the less, the better because it means the drink is smoother. This one hit the mark there for sure. The food was just ok. We got their yountville burger and the fish tacos. The plates were big. The burger had bacon along with the usual suspects. Most of the plate was occupied by the salad. The burger was decent, just like any other burger. We didn't finish the whole thing because of how large the portion was. The fish taco plate came with 2 fish tacos and a big salad. The tacos were ok. There was a large piece of grilled fish with avocados. Between the two, the tacos were definitely better. They were difficult to eat because of how big the tacos were. These tacos are nowhere close to the real authentic tacos you'd get in San Diego but they were good enough. Salsa did not have any salt in it so it was disappointing. Pricing wise, the whole check is on the higher end of the range for what we ate, but that is Sausalito for you!

We that was the best cioppino I’ve ever had. I am a French chef and I know. Wish we had taken a photo but we were in the moment and had to start eating immediately. Monday night dinner. Must come here every Monday and any day of the week. Service incredible, drinks amazing. Atmosphere, super cozy, but also dreamy fancy. And the view is romantic. Enjoy!

We had a delicious dinner at this lovely, cozy restaurant in downtown Sausalito. Relaxed, comfortable ambiance. We ordered the arancini as an appetizer to share. Foccacia al Rosmarino was soft and flavorful. I really enjoyed my shrimp. My husband's linguine alla pescatore dish was so good I ate all of my plate and some of his. Highly recommend Angelino for dinner while in Sausalito.

I wanted to love this place as I’m a huge fan of Mexican food. I read the reviews and noticed a few said that the food lacked flavor and they were right. I ordered a fish, steak, and shrimp taco and all 3 lacked flavor. The fish was battered and tasted like water, the steak was over cooked, and the shrimp was overpowered by burnt peppers and onions. The corn tortillas weren’t great either. I’m so glad I filled up on their excellent tortilla chips with pico de gallo. My husband and my friend liked their meals but mine was certainly sad. As cute as the restaurant was and the atmosphere was great, I will not come back. For 3 of us it was $146 in tacos & burritos. This is insane pricing for disappointing food.

I remember this place being so delicious 😋 (it was 10 + years tho). Today was different. I do have to say that the food was very fresh but unfortunately it lacked flavor… I had fish tacos and a cochinita taco. The slaw for the fish taco was super fresh but no seasoning is was more like shredded cabbage:( the cochinita also needed a little help. Def had to ask for some hot sauce to spice things up a bit. So all in all food/ingredients are great but def ask for some salt and hot sauce and some lemon/lime. It’s $23 for 3 tacos. Service was great and environment good across the street from the water.

Place is a little bit small and there is not many tables to sit, but had a great view near the main street. The tacos fresh and good. The nachos were great and it's sauce was fresh and tasty. It was nothing very special about this place, just a good spot to stop by for lunch while passing the street or back from the beach.

Food is not that great. It's very bland and has no taste at all. Also ordered the passion fruit tea, which also has no taste to it. Water without ice and not cold at all unless you ask for the ice. Service and atmosphere are good.

Honestly some of the best ice cream I've had in the bay. Tons of variety in the flavors, great texture in the ice cream, and a super nice location. Only reason this is not 5 stars is because they only allow tasting of 2 flavors and it's $7 for a single scoop. I know Sausalito is a more expensive area but that's still just absurd. With that being said though, the ice cream is fire. Worth trying out if you're ever in the area.

It’s a lovely icecreams parlour. Nice ambience and good variety of tasty icecreams. They have handcrafted, "super-premium" ice cream made with high-quality ingredients. We tried the Hawaiian Sea Salt Caramel: Hawaii pink salted caramel fudge in sweet cream and Praline Pecan: Southwestern-style pecans in a caramel cream. These were good. Nice sorbets too. Seating is nice. Closes around 8.30 pm

As a child my mom and I walked across the Golden Gate Bridge to the ice cream. I was able to 40 years later take my children and husband to the Ice Cream Polar. We took pictures of the city and loved the ice cream just as I did when I was their age. Thank you for the great experience.

Had the Kauai Pie ice cream and it’s one of the best ice cream we ever had … the flavors of the ingredients just work so well: coffee, Macadamia nuts, coconut shreds, and others. Also it’s not too sweet therefore able to enjoy the flavors. Well done! Very impressive~

Green tea ice cream in waffle cone did the trick for me on a hot day. Cool down on a bench by the water and grass, with a book maybe. I found a nice spot by the ferry docks. I was happy with my free waffle cone for having completed Sausalito Public Library’s adult summer reading challenge- you can do it too! It’s awesome when you can read and get additional rewards. You get 2 free samples per person before having to select your flavor. I sampled the ube macapuno and was unimpressed- it didn’t taste much like ube, maybe more like coconut. I also sampled the date casablanca, which is vanilla ice cream studded with date bits and laced with caramel trails. I think if the date flavor was more incorporated in the whole ice cream, I could’ve gone for it. I’m glad I went with green tea and would recommend this flavor. It’s not the strongest green tea ice cream I’ve had but it was enough and I wasn’t looking for too strong today anyway.

Stopped in today before our departure to Chicago. Hands down, best ice cream we've ever had. I had the horchata cajeta flavor and my husband the guava cheesecake flavor. Flavors were amazing and very unique. Can't wait to try again on our next visit to California!

This place is a little tucked away in Sausalito but it is a lovely place to eat. I had the classic fish and chips which as a Brit I can approve of! The salad was also good and the complimentary bread was a lovely touch as well. Some of the things of the menu are quite pricey but then so is everything else in the area so is to be expected! Definitely consider the specials when visiting too

Absolutely phenomenal experience. Very down to Earth restaurant with people that have been working there for 20 years We had the baked oysters both Rockefeller and garlic. 10 out of 10. This restaurant has very high standards of taking care of their customers from beginning to ending of visit. Very impressive with receptive staff & accommodating to customers’ requested services. I felt the loving ambience of scenery with relaxing time to unwind with sumptuous foods. A must be place to visit with memorable experience to remember. Second time there, clam chowder was great again, tried the lobster bisque soup and it was very good, just needs some lobster chunks and it would be top notch. Had clam chowder, crab cocktail and cold lobster roll sandwich, all were top notch, portions were small and prices were high (excellent for the pallet but not the wallet). One of the best chowders in Northern California. Owner was there and very friendly and personable. Service was fast.

This restaurant is 10 out of 10, the food tastes awesome and the service is great. I have been there couple of time and will continue going there. Fresh ingredients, perfect seasoning, and very light on oil. Not mentioning their beautiful views! You can sit for hours there and enjoy the view. The only potential improvement is remodeling their restrooms or at least install bath accessories that work!

An authentic seafood restaurant with wide variety of different types of seafood. Loved the lobster and fish over here. Drinks and dessert are also fantastic. Prompt service with quality and fresh seafood served always. They even serve the local famous seafood dish of chowder. It’s great. Washrooms are well maintained and hygienic.

Nice location with a wonderful view of the harbor. Food and wine recommendation was excellent. We totally enjoyed all the dishes and the wine. Oysters were fresh and the scampi with risotto and arugula salad was so... delicious. The mixed appetizer was yummy too!

A wonderful, picturesque cafe overlooking the city of SF. The staff were lovely, food was great and the view absolutely what we wanted after a cycle over the Golden Gate Bridge. We had the bread bowl chowder and it didn’t disappoint, coupled with a glass of JCB pink fizz. Delightful.

Ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, wife got the seafood pasta. Took about 5 minutes for the food. Atmosphere inside is nice, cozy, tables are bussed quick. Two large meatballs with a tasty meat sauce. Plenty of spaghetti as well. Wife's seafood pasta had lots of seafood as well. Muscles, shrimp. She liked it. Per person ended up around $30 but that's fine I guess. Doesn't happen often and great place for food.

Really fun spot to be in if you’re craving Italian. It’s a walk up cafe/ restaurant. They give you a number and you sit and wait for your food. Good vibes and very chill. I loved the atmosphere. The cashier was patient and knew most answers for the questions I had. I had the Sausalito Pizza and Chicken Alfredo Pasta. It was bomb! The Alfredo pasta came with garlic bread. But overall it was great! I would recommend :)

Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This Italian spot has a relaxed, free-seating style where you order at the register and the food is brought right to your table. We came as a group of 8, and the service was impressively fast — all of our dishes arrived hot and fresh. Everyone in our group was very happy with their meals. Great food, smooth service, and an easygoing atmosphere make this place a must-try!

We had a good experience here. This was our first time visiting Sausalito. We came here on a tour that took us to Muir Woods and Sausalito. I'll write a separate review about them but it was a nice experience as well. This restaurant was about a 5 minute walk from where the your bus dropped us for an hour. We found them on here of course. We walked in and the menu was more extensive than I expected. I'm on a strict diet so I had the chicken soup and husband had the veggie burger (they also had an Impossible burger option) with fries. The soup was nice and flavorful. It has lots of veggies and chicken pieces in it. It went down nicely. Husbands Burger and fries looked so good and he confirmed that they were great through his word and his nearly empty plate. We sat outside and had some great views. It was the perfect day. The service was pretty good too. I definitely want to come back some day and try the pizza.

I’m not a big pasta fan, but Taste of Rome was really good. The food was fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. The coffee was surprisingly good too! Simple, tasty, and definitely worth going back.

Overall experience was ok for a vegetarian. There is a decent selection of pastas and pizzas. But if you are going here for ambience then I would not recommend it. Just a short distance from this restaurant, there are multiple eateries along the water with a much better view and outdoor seating.

The person working there was so friendly and gave a lot of gelato for us to taste before buying. The strawberry is so good! The green tea one has a mint flavor overpowering the green tea flavor so I didn’t enjoy it as much. The price was very reasonable

After a mediocre lunch and biking across the bridge I saw this place and decided I deserved a treat. I picked out three truffles (about $6.75) and enjoyed them on the Ferry back to San Francisco. I chose cardamom nougat, cookie Butter and Buddha. Cardamom was nice, but cookie Butter was better because COOKIE BUTTER. How could it not be? However, Buddha was definitely the most uniquely delicious. It was filled with peanut butter and mango jam. Salty and sweet always get me! The shop is quite small and feels tight even with only one other customer. But the quality is great and service is friendly!

Real artisan chocolates here. I tried a few dark chocolates, and they were absolutely delicious. I tried their coffee, and it was also not bad. Their cookies are also great. Raisin Oatmeal cookie was definitely the best thing.

They usually have SUCH a good curation of chocolates so it pains me to write this review. DO NOT buy the Dubai Chocolate!!! I spent 40$ (that should have been my first red flag) but since they have good quality fine chocolates I had high expectations it would be really good. “Luxury” as its marketed. It was DISGUSTING, the worst quality chocolate, stale, and overall spit-worthy after the first bite. I’m sooooo upset at this waste of money. I truly expected them to vet their products and for it to be at least OKAY for 40 bucks. Ive had many versions of the dubai chocolate and this is by far the worst AND most expensive!!! 7/11 has a better one. The mini dubai bonbons from another brand were better , but for $20 is a hard swallow. So disappointed.

Cosy Thai cuisine restaurant near San Fransisco city.. We had ordered Thai green curry and Yellow curry with sticky rice and PadThai.. all dishes were good in taste. Due to weekend it was difficult to find a suitable parking near the restaurant.. but its ok.. staff was supportive .. overall it was a good experience..

The experience at Arawan Thai Cuisine left me underwhelmed. Pad Thai: Unfortunately, the pad Thai was disappointing. It lacked flavor and tasted super bland, which made it far from enjoyable. Service: The service was below expectations. The staff wasn’t very helpful, and it felt like they weren’t particularly attentive or engaged. Ambience: The ambience was decent, offering a fair level of comfort, though nothing particularly memorable or noteworthy. Arawan Thai Cuisine didn’t quite meet the mark for me, both in terms of food and service.

Wonderful casual place to have great food with family. Always fresh and fast service. Great for lunch or dinner with the whole family. They make the best Tum Yume soup. We also like their mango salad ( my kids favorite). Very friendly with children.

Ordered takeout, only reviewing the food. Look, I know ingredient costs are up but there's absolutely no excuse to scam customers. So disappointed in the food here - ordered one of their seafood specials, Prawn Lost In The Woods - compare the description to what I got. No black wood ear mushrooms, only a couple of sad button mushrooms, not a snow pea in sight, broccoli and parsley and heaps of bamboo. It was sitting in flavorless water, not a hint of oyster sauce. Even dumping sriracha in there did nothing. The shrimp had a tough, rubbery, overcooked texture. If they didn't have half the ingredients, don't offer the dish, or at least let me know so I could order something they have. I literally could have scraped this dish together myself from Costco frozen broccoli I had in the freezer where I'm staying. My co-diner got Pad See Ew, again devoid of any kind of flavor, no gai lan that characterizes this dish or even spinach to imitate it, just the same frozen broccoli and carrots. I found big rice noodles still folded up as they were in the package, untouched by any of the tasteless sauce! This is just plain lack of the most minimal cooking effort. The Imperial roll appetizer was a decently filling pork meat roll, though with no evidence of shrimp or taro. We expected the mun tod to be like tempura or pakoras, but got soggy and unappetizing battered fries - this may have been from sitting in the box waiting for takeout, but nothing else has an excuse for such watered-down, bland flavor. We were hungry having missed lunch while hiking all day so we ate some of this, but it was the worst meal I've had in weeks, and I would never have accepted food missing most of the menu ingredients if it were brought to my table. The best that can be said for it is that we didn't immediately fall physically ill.

Hands down, this place serves the best Thai food I’ve ever had. I’ve tried numerous dishes here, including the Thai samosa, spicy basil fried rice, pad Thai, yellow curry, and red curry. I appreciate how they strike a perfect balance, avoiding excessive sweetness while incorporating a subtle blend of spices that truly enhance the flavors.

So incredibly pleased with our experience at this restaurant. From the service to the food everything was perfect. We came in when they were only doing take out, which we said we were more than okay to do, but they insisted to set up a table for us. We got the Thai iced tea, salad rolls, pot stickers, pho, and egg noodle dish. Each was so incredible, and some of the best of the dishes Ive tried. Portion sizes were massive, a great price for what you get. Our drinks were refilled as soon as they were close to empty, and we were given any sauce we could’ve needed, the service was so quick. The staff was so friendly would highly recommend, a hidden gem:)

I would give ten stars to service if I could. My sister and I walked up around 5, we didn't know they switch to only takeout after 4:30pm, but the family owners were so nice. They offered to put a table up outside for us, gave us ice water and the most delicious complimentary carrot and ginger soup I've ever had. They gave us extra rice at checkout too. Everyone was so sweet! Past that, the food was delicious we ordered Pad Thai, Potstickers, and Ga Prow Kai Dow. The sauce with the Potstickers was so delicious!! And the Potstickers themselves were packed full and tender. My sister loved her pad Thai and the sauce in my Ga Prow was heavenly. I wish I lived here so I could eat here every day!!

The best place in this area. Amazing view, beautiful interior, delicious food, very cozy and good music. The only thing is that we waited longer than usual for our food, but there is one man working at the bar who also acts as a hostess and a waiter in one person. So we were understanding. I recommend trying the apricot dessert. Very cozy place, we will definitely come back here again.

I had a lovely brunch at Suzette with a friend! We both enjoyed our meals- I had the French toast with a cappuccino and she had a crispy omelette with roasted potatoes. Both meals were very well made. The service was lovely and we enjoyed sitting outside in the nice weather. The view from the sidewalk was beautiful!

This was our third time at Suzette in Sausalito and it just keeps getting better! The Pain Perdu with berry compote and cream was incredible — crisp outside, soft inside, with the perfect balance of sweet and tart. The Gaufres with fresh berries and cream were light, fluffy, and full of flavor. And the Steak Frites was spot on — tender, perfectly cooked steak with a rich sauce and crispy fries that were addictive. The food is consistently amazing, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the service is always great. Every bite was a joy. Suzette is easily one of our favorite spots in Sausalito, and we’ll keep coming back!

Idk about you, but $36 for 4 scallops feels like a scam. Misleading menu prices, charged more than what the menu said. Nothing special about the food, NOT worth the price. You pay for the view and MOH. Friendly and energetic service, with an expansive view of the bay. $130 for 2 people got us 2 appetizers, a glass of wine, and an extremely stingily portioned entree. Only come here if you're wealthy and can afford anything because it is an absolutely adorable spot.

Simple location, inside a convenience store. Found the location on Google Maps and took a little bit to find the actual location but it has a nice and simple set-up. Options are few but the staff was friendly, the service quick and the food delicious.

Decent poke, subpar rice. 2 ingredients to this menu item. Poke and rice. The poke is okay. I got the shoyu tuna with white rice. The tuna was good, but I didn't think it had enough flavor to it. The rice was dry and hard and did not pair well with the fish. Portion is not very big, but it's only $14

I have been going here almost 2 years. I travel from Sonoma county. Lately quality is in decline. My last visit, I noted fish was overly salty. REALLY SALTY. Not sure why. Noted wasabi poke now has mayo. Lots of mayo. Not good. This will be my last visit. Fish is not good

I had the opportunity to share in this experience with my Twin foodie. We started off with the Caviar Quintet and then proceeded to order the ENTIRE small plates menu. It was a culinary journey rooted in love for fresh foods and a passion for food that tastes good. I enjoyed the intimate setting and being able to watch the culinary chef in action as he prepared our dishes. This is a must if you enjoy dining experiences, good food, and good company. The menu changes seasonally so I will be back to experience more unique and flavorful dishes.

We had a wonderful and intimate dining experience at The Bump Bar last night. I loved being able to watch chef Lance as he cooked and plated each dish with so much care. The dishes were works of art and the flavors were exquisite! We left the meal feeling full but not heavy since the food was so clean. Highly recommend for anyone looking to slow down and enjoy a beautiful meal!

Tried my hand at a Hamburgers grilled burger today and wow definitely one of the best I have had in a while. Locally sourced ground beef for the right amount of juiciness and shaped the patties a little thicker for that nice sear on the outside while keeping the inside tender and flavorful.

The patty was thick and just the right amount of juicy. It wasn’t a particularly memorable burger but it was still yummy. Fries were the perfect fluffy potato-y texture that was still crispy on the outside, although they honestly just tasted like Ore Ida crinkle cut fries to me.

Went there today and got their cheeseburger and it was amazing. The burger patty was truly tasty. Totally recommended.

A nice burger shop. With friendly service and attitude. Shop is not big, it an’t got many seats inside. There is a parking lot across street of it. And a very lovely park nearby. Takeout burgers, and sit by the park, looking through the harbor, beautiful views, cozy weather, it was heavenly!!

Went here literally 7 years ago (2019) and still think about it (I am from the midwest). Hands down the best burger I have ever had. 100/10 recommend, plus you get to watch the grilling burgers rotate in a window which is fun.

Service was good, but the burgers were disappointing. You can't see the prices before going inside. The rotating grilling station looks good. There's this "homemade" effort but the meat is overcooked and overseasoned, cheese isn't melted and the inside is cold. Fries were soft, and there's a big amount of it.

Awesome burgers, juicy and huge. The Hawaiian Burger had enough freshly cooked bacon on it to make a breakfast by itself. Fries are also good, cut thick and a little crisp. There isn't really any space to eat inside for more than a few people, service was kind of brusque, so you'll want to take your food elsewhere, maybe the nearby park.

Easily the best eggs Benedict I have had in my entire life, the sweet bacon is to die for and you can't go wrong with the waffles either and I can't get over how fresh the OJ was. Perfect and cozy breakfast spot!

Here’s the deal: we decided to try this place for something new. Our normal breakfast place is Salt and Pepper in Tiburon. The bottom line: this place is mid and Salt and Pepper is the best breakfast in Marin. We ordered: the sweet bacon, Swedish pancakes, and scrambled eggs with chorizo and onion. Pancakes: ok- lacked flavor and the maple syrup on the table tasted like those fake syrups. Eggs: not great- chorizo and onion were in huge chunks- the preparation lacked attention to detail and was messy. I asked what other toppings we could add to the eggs and was told they don’t do that here. This dish was $25. See photo. Bacon: nice flavor but very chewy and not crispy. $10 for two pieces of bacon is absurd. All in all, we will not return and we’re VERY disappointed. The service was unfriendly and rushed. Skip this place. It’s no good.

Went for a morning drive to Sausalito from San Francisco. I hadn’t been to this town in ages & wanted to revisit this charming town. I googled places for breakfast & Fred’s looked promising so we headed there. There’s a small shared parking lot next to the cafe & plenty of street parking. It’s a small cafe with some outdoor seating & it was pretty busy on Saturday morning. We were seated at a large shared table with two other people. They didn’t mind & neither did we. Extensive menu- I’d read the most popular items are the lemon ricotta pancakes, egg plate with sweet bacon, deep fried French toast & the Swedish, but looking at fellow customers plates who’d ordered some of the dishes, I decided I could not eat such large portions! I went for the single berry waffle & my husband ordered the veggie omelette. The waffle was delicious; only wish the syrup they served was real Maple syrup. I don’t eat the fake stuff so I skipped it. The omelette was very nice & came with toast & hash browns. We had ordered cappuccino & laughed when we saw the size of the “cup” - almost like a mini bathtub! I’m fussy about my coffee & this one just ok. Overall, a nice little place to enjoy breakfast before walking down to the marina & town center.

We stumbled into Fred’s Place by accident one morning while driving from San Francisco to Mt. Tamalpais—easily the best happy accident of our trip. I ordered bacon, scrambled eggs, and hash browns; my daughter had the American Melt. Everything was simple, fresh, and genuinely delicious. The locally roasted coffee was outstanding, too. Despite the place being packed when we arrived, the staff stayed friendly, attentive, and helpful. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll absolutely be back at Fred’s Place.

No nonsense delicious fresh diner food. Huge portions for the price. I got the crab omelette with fruit, and the omelette was packed with delicious fresh crab and veggies. The fruit side was huge with fresh blueberries, blackberries, bananas, and cantaloupe. Our service was quick and coffee was hot. We’ll be back next time we’re in the area!

Absolutely disgusting behavior. Avoid this place at all costs. I have never been treated so horribly by any restaurant. Our child accidentally spilled something — as kids do — and instead of responding with even basic human decency, the staff swore at us. Yes, swore at a family with a child. And it gets worse: they actually told us to clean the floor ourselves, barking orders at us like we were an inconvenience they wanted to get rid of. I’ve never seen such hostility or unprofessionalism from people who claim to be in “hospitality.” It was humiliating, aggressive, and completely out of line. Mind you, we’ve been customers for 20+ years and these were the owners communicating with us. If this is how they treat customers — especially families — then they don’t deserve a single dollar of anyone’s business. There are plenty of restaurants where the staff understands kindness, respect, and how to behave like adults. This place is NOT one of them.

The fish and chips were very delicious! 🐟The deep-fried cod was the best—super crispy! A side of fresh-cut potato fries was also very good. I highly recommend trying it! The cashier guy wasn't friendly at all, which was a little disappointing. 😕

Was strolling through the Sausalito neighborhood and decided to stop here for a quick lunch. The location is fantastic, overlooking the bay! Parking can be a bit tricky, especially on weekends. There are a few public lots nearby, but they can fill up quickly. I went on a weekday so I got street parking in a walkable distance. As for the food, I ordered fish and chips and a beer. The portions are generous, making it great value for the price.

An amazing experience, the fried fish was perfectly crispy and had a large portion of fish inside, the tartar sauce tasted home made as well. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Got ice cream after and the scoop was HUGE! Worth every penny.

Looks are definitely deceiving here at this fish n chips place in Sausalito. The burger was dry and overcooked, and the fish and chips tasted like old oil. Disappointing and the fish had no flavor, had to douse it in salt and lemon. The fish and chips had a stale taste to them according to my partner. Should’ve kept walking to see the other Thai place down the road, probably would’ve been worth our money to go there instead.

While on a tour, I chose this place to have a quick bite and what a good choice this was. Crisp tasty batter with fresh flaky and juicy cod on the inside. Both the fish and the fries didn’t even need any additional seasoning, it was that good. The fresh lemon 🍋 was all I added. This restaurant is really a good recommendation from me. Great service as well and not a long wait at all.

GPS took us through a tour of residential Italy with very narrow streets before arriving at the restaurant. parking was difficult only to realize the restaurant has its own parking around the corner and under the restaurant. waiter decided to clean all the dirty tables before taking our order; customer service suggest the opposite should happen. we watched him at least 5 minutes as he cleaned. I started sweating inside with no air conditioning. 3 meals, all undersized, came out to $90 with a 15%tip. the location is in beautiful and scenic Sausalito and the waiter was nice.

This is such a cute little cafe. I was able to sit outside on their patio area, and I enjoyed the fresh air just as much as the fresh food! The staff was friendly and I enjoyed my meal. I tried the Margherita Pizza, and I must say, I loved the fresh basil mixed with the drizzle of olive oil! Can't wait to come back and try again! Parking is underneath restaurant or any free spot on street.

Had a good authentic Italian food experience here. Food was proportioned really well and the unique wine paired with the pasta very well. The service was great and quite attentive. Parking is a bit of a hassle due to the location being in a residential area.

First time at this restaurant very nice experience. Had a long day with a group of friends from a hike and beach day so we were hungry. Very good service and food. Definitely nice ambience with great views to outside. Lighting was low but had these very unique table lights to provide lighting onto the table without over powering.. any way we got different dishes ravioli, spaghetti calamari. Sounded like everyone pretty much enjoyed just overheard some dishes were spicy and they didn’t expect that. I got the ravioli polio very creamy soft and nice amount of spices/veggies mixed in. Definitely recommend.

A cosy little coffee and bakery place in downtown Sausalito, right next to the Pier. Location-wise could not be better. Coffee is good and very welcome amidst the cool breeze or while waiting for the ferry.

This is a cute place next to the ferry with your standard selection of drinks and cafe treats. Some cozy seating outside gives you a view of the Bay, but you're so close you might as well take it to go and sit by the water.

Coffee and cake! Sorted. Service was good. But this place is nothing special.

staff was wonderful and very friendly, but with only one coffee machine and a big crowd of ferry passengers waiting, it took 10 minutes to get a cup of coffee to go. Worst of all the owner or manager, a grumpy white haired man in his 60s, reprimanded a young service staff member publicly as the croissants were not warm enough when served. Note to the boss: get yourself a second coffee machine and a better oven and stop being nasty to your staff.

Convenient and central location, cozy ambiance and friendly staff but very, very average coffee. I didn't eat but the food on other tables look great. However the coffee was forgettable and similar to Mc Donald's. I was expecting more by reading other reviews. When you make your first sip in a coffee and your tongue gets badly burn since it is excessively hot, you know that it was not barista grade. I will not discard this place if I ever get back in town but surely will not order coffee there.

My favorite brunch spot in Sausalito! ✨ they have espresso coffee (not just drip) and the food always come out fast and fresh. You have to try the cranberry pancakes it’s the perfect combination of tart and sweet.

This is a quaint cafe/diner serving breakfast and lunch all day. We ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs and the meatloaf platter. They were definitely delicious and tasted homely. I recommend upgrading to the cinnamon coffee muffin if you have the option. There are plenty of tables and the service was great! The only reason I deducted a star is the price. Most of the entrée were over $20, but probably has more to do with the location. Overall, I recommend this spot for tasty classic American dishes.

We are still blown away days later with the service. We were able to sit, eat, and pay in less than 30 minutes. However, we never felt rushed and all the servers were very friendly. A great spot for your everyday or for a road trip stop.

We came to have a lunch after a long drive in the bay area. It was a pleasant experience. The place has a great location, close to the water, there is also a parking outside. Inside, many tables are available, toilets are spacious and clean, overall interior is not up-to-date but clean and charming. We arrived right before their closing time, around 2.30 pm. There were still customers finishing up their food. We ordered an omelette, fried eggs, a water and a coffee. The food arrived in 10-15 minutes. We could finish it in no rush however the place already got closed. The food cost us 40 usd. The food was good, the portions were large, perhaps I lacked a salad in the side. The service was truly great - friendly and fast. I can totally recommend this place.

I have walked by this place many times on Sausalito errand runs. Had the Alps burger... Good but not great. I thought the skinny frys were pretty fun and unique. Service was fine. It's too bad they don't have the veggie burger option.

Service was slow. The food overall was on the saltier side, the French onion soup was good. The F3 appetizer was okay, the brussel sprout chips were on the extra cooked / burnt side, fries were soggy the French onion burger was pretty good, though a little messy, the onion rings that they described, were only onion strings which was disappointing.

Casual but well prepared food. Service was very good. Menu choices were diverse, but also unexpected: Fish Tacos, or Nachos vs Pommes Dauphines or Steak Frites. It feels like they are trying to appease a broad range of tastes, while straying from their "Francais" theme. Probably not a bad thing, just unexpected.

I found this little restaurant while on a biking trip through Sausalito. The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff was very courteous - seating my large group right away. The food was excellent quality, although the portions were a little on the small side. Their potato sides were an unexpected surprise - small balls of fried mashed potatoes (delicious, and not as odd as they may sound). I would definitely recommend this location if you are in the area.

There is something special about Fast Food Francais. I'm unable to explain it, but it could be because the staff cares about the quality of their food, the welcoming atmosphere and the attention to detail from the staff delivering a mixed casual/formal service. The menu is special enough to make the trip feel worth it. All the assortments of burgers are great, so you can't go wrong with any of them. The Steak and Frits is delicious, extremely satisfied with the steak every time I've ordered it. The Pan Seared Salmon is amazing along with the green beans it is served with. Occasionally their menu includes a Duck Confit which is also very well done, you can really taste and appreciate the fat it was cooked in. Overall a great experience. Although I do advise coming in small parties and maybe be more lenient with wait times on the weekends. The staff can be overwhelmed with larger parties or during busy times as each server has to give a lot of attention to all their tables, the food is prepared with a lot of care so wait times can be long on super busy days. Fast Food Francais has become pretty popular so a lot of groups like to show up or make reservations since the out door seating is well organized but I've always felt like the restaurant was more catered towards small intimate groups or intimate dates.

Very friendly staff:) We got fettuccine (very good), seafood risotto, and margarita pizza. Overall good is good. Only downside was the live music being a bit too loud for us.

A very good place where you can dance to live Latin American music until 9 pm, and then for another hour the DJ entertains the most desperate and tireless dancers. Everyone dances - no one is left without attention. Even those who do not know how to dance dance. This is important. The cuisine is so-so - you can have a snack, drink. A cheerful elegant waiter. I recommend.

Mothers day. Meal for mom was... forgotten? Came 15 mins after the 3 other meals. No apology, nothing. And the fish that was delivered tasted "off," had to be sent back. Salmon pasta was "nice," very salty. Pictured: $28 for 6 medium shrimp served with *COLD* vegetables. Some lady in a red coat sat by the door jarring random guests by yelling at them about the bathroom doors. Waiter only came back once every 20-30 mins if there was a dish to deliver. What a strange experience. Do not listen to the reviews. STAY IN LINE FOR FISH!!!!! Our appetizer (a lump of salty bread) took half an hour, another 40 mins for the meals that forgot the main meal that was for me (the mom, on mother's day), and then I had to wander the restaurant to get the server to return the late inedible fish.

This is my favorite restaurant in Sausalito, I always try and stop by when im in the area. If you come here id highly suggest getting seafood because its always excellent and fairly priced. Cool mom and pop bay area unique restaurant staff is very friendly and attentive.

What a gem of a place in lovely Sausalito, just off the Clipper Yatch Harbor! They have two outdoor patios for those who want to soak up the vitamin D while they sip on their vino, primarily vinters from Italian or California wineries are on their list. Which do not disappoint. I enjoyed a bit of nosh from the short, but not disappointing happy hour menu (as of 9/25/25, only available at the bar or dining room). A glass of Montepulciano, Roccio Forte, boh were what I didn't know I needed on a lovely afternoon. The staff while attentive is not overpowering. They also keep on the music which is appreciated. In addition, on Sundays they offer dancing lessons. Makes me wish I were living closer. Come here, make your way up a bit further folks from all the shops and busy restaurants to some authentic Italian with local sourced seafood, I hope you will be as pleased as I.

They had the most incredible live jazz – the band was seriously talented and brought such a soulful, lively vibe to the night. I sat at the bar and met some great people, and the atmosphere made it easy to strike up a conversation. Big shoutout to Stephan, the bartender – he was awesome. Super friendly and made me feel right at home. Even though they didn’t have non-alcoholic cocktails on the menu, he offered to whip one up from scratch and absolutely nailed it. I had the salmon and it was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. If you’re ever in Sausalito and love live jazz, good food, and great company, this is the place to be. I’ll definitely be back!

HORRIBLE, I have never tested such bad eggs Benedict ever in my life. I mean how can they go bad with eggs Benedict ? I couldn’t eat more than two spoons. My husband ordered beet salad which was horrible and uncooked. He had to eat it forcefully since we were hungry. Not worth the price and would not recommend anyone for this restaurant

Be sure to check this place out. It is off the main street just a couple blocks. Feels like a locals joint with comfort food and great wine. They also have live music (on select nights). We started with the minestrone soup and house made focaccia. Both were great. Our entrees were the house made gnocchi, lasagne, spaghetti and risotto. We also ordered side of Brussel sprouts that also had pancetta and sweet potatoes. They were the best thing on the table. Delicious. All of our dishes were lovely. The only drawback was the risotto is not a traditional one. Did not have the creaminess we are used to. We will definitely be back. Service was excellent as well.

Comfortable with beautiful furniture gives a good vibe to anyone seating any table for dinner. The service is algo great. Experience is incredible. Had breakfast here and had a great experience! The waitress was very nice and warm with us. She made suggestions from the menu from which I chose one and my wife chose something of her own taste. Both meals we ordered (she ordered an omelette and I ordered poached eggs in a tomato sauce) were fantastic with the only complaint being that my meal was a bit small. A third egg or a meat would have made it perfect. Overall, I would highly recommend!

Two of us split a salad and the burrata (really a second salad), pappardelle with a sweet pepper sauce, and a tiramisu. Delicious! The homemade pasta was nice and tender. Definitely want to come back. I dont know why this restaurant wasn’t on my radar earlier. Parking might be a little tricky—allow time to circle around for an open spot.

We try to visit Sausalito once every 2 months or so. My daughter loves, Dario's Pizza. We have eaten here twice. The pizza and lasagna are good. My daughter ordered the Pizza Margherita !!!

Such a nice little pizza shop. Had vegetarian pizza and absolutely loved it. It was fresh, loaded, simple and really good.

Fairly authentic Italian pizzas. Tried their spanish style pizza and they allowed us to replace red meat with chicken. They used fresh vegetable toppings and not those that are tinned. The pizza lacked a pinch of salt and hence the flavors weren't very noticeable. The chicken tenders were well cooked and juicy. Overall was okay with their service - allowed us to customize toppings, decent wait time but they didn't provide us with enough seasonings like oregano, sauces, etc. and we had to ask for them explicitly. The ambience was pretty good. Only limited number of parking spots available.

Lovely little organic and natural grocery store with a deli inside. Has a good selection of produce, fresh and packaged food, beverages, and treats. Has a little seating area inside with a nice big community table as well as other seating. Convenient place to grab a snack while exploring Sausalito.

I thank the Sausalito locals for recommending me this market outside the tourist trap restaurants!! There’s a food/grill where they have Crab cakes,Salmon cakes, Chicken Pot Pie and Quiche. I had the Crab cake and the Salmon cake (both cost $4-5!!!) with local SF beer and they were really good!!! There’s other items in the market and super friendly service! I’ll come back again!

I highly recommend Drivers market of you're ever in the area, good clean food and friendly folk. A definite gem in a quaint community. Look for the rosemary olive bread, it's the best bread I've ever had.

I've been in a casual committed dating situation with Drivers for the 5 years I have lived in Sausalito. First few visits I thought it wasn't good enough for me, I kept comparing it to Bi-Rite in SF. We kept trying to make it work and every visit I found more things to love. It turns out I've been slowly falling in love with this understated gem and now I am in a full blown love affair with this place. From their delicious breakfast Burritos (well constructed, perfectly spicy, and relatively healthy with sautéed greens and a whole wheat tortilla), Bentons bacon, Humboldt cherry cider, interesting and unique boutique Asian spices/ingredients, Bardstown bourbon, raaka chocolate, Della fattoria Meyer lemon bread, firehouse mikes pepperjack cheesr,etc etc this place has got it going on. And the service is terrific-I was able to special order acme bakery slider buns for a party and it's always nice to see the same crew. AND I scored the last bottle of Siracha on the planet here. I also noticed they have canned jackfruit- how rare is that?? I don't love their produce, it's trying hard and they stock the right items but it seems a bit past peak freshness. Next area of exploration will be their wine section.

Great coffee, perfect barista and view of it the Bay make this a perfect stop for breakfast coffee in a neighborhood market and cafe. Siteglass beans gave or cappuccinos the right amount of burn and bean, complemented by a ginger pull apart and berry scone made for the perfect fuel for a morning hike in the close by Marin headlands. A great find.

Of three cortados in town that we tried, this one was the best! GF breakfast sandwich with polenta/cheese-type bun was fun to try but felt unhealthy. Waited a VERY long time for my bagel lox sandwich (w tomato, onion, sprouts) to come out from the deli. Official story (after two check-ins) was the oven was broken so it was taking longer to use a toaster oven. Many folks/couples/dogs after me were in and out w their orders before my sandwich arrived. Others in my party ordered and finished a second round of drinks before my sandwich arrived.

This is a nice little grocery store with a long history.Some items in the store are a little bit pricey. However, a San Fransycho sandwich is very much affordable and actually very delicious. A very good coffee is available as well. Also, there is an incredible view nearby. Overall, the atmosphere in the store is friendly, service is just right. Finally, just one person opinion-it is probably the best place in the area to get sandwiches. Recomend!

The tri tip sandwich on Thursdays is exquisite! It’s wonderfully meaty with perfectly toasted bread. The sauce is reminiscent of childhood sandwiches I used to get at Quiznos before all of them dropped off the face of the earth. My office is only a couple minutes drive from here so I will definitely be coming back in the future.

This place is incredible. Wonderful atmosphere, delicious food, and great coffee. We ordered the protein avocado toast, berry compote waffle stack, black coffee, and an iced vanilla latte. Definitely check it out for breakfast if you are staying in or near Sausalito!

I love this local cafe and if you can get a seat it’s a great place to hang with a friend and have coffee or lunch. The salads/sandwiches are great but I had the worst blueberry muffin. Dry, barely any blueberries, and small so skip that one and opt for a croissant.

Ordered an espresso and a sparkling water, because I assumed the espresso would come solo, but they also brought out a small cup of sparkling water with the espresso. Very classy! They were out of tempeh bacon for the vegan BLT which was a bummer. I got the avocado toast without cheese instead and it was delicious though. Lastly, they had some outlets available to charge my ebike battery, which was a godsend so I had enough juice to get across the bridge home. Equator is famous for a reason?

This was our first time at a Brazilian Steak House and our experience was amazing! We came in for the lunch Rodizio and food was delicious! The cuts of meat were well seasoned, tender, and perfect levels of fat. Our favorite was the Picanha and Ribeye but there is definitely a lot more to choose from. The service was very friendly and attentive. Since we were the for lunch, the dining room was much less crowded and the servers were very welcoming and informative for any questions we had since it was our first time. There were only 5 other tables while we were there so the meat carvers visited our table very frequently. The dining room is very clean and has a good neutral lighting. The salad bar is well organized and presented in a very appetizing manner too. In terms of value, we came in for the lunch Rodizio which is around ~50$ per person and you definitely get your moneys worth for the amount and quality of food you are getting. Originally we just came to celebrate our anniversary, but we would definitely comeback for the Lunch Rodizio again for the Value and Experience!

The service and atmosphere were definitely the highlights. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made the night feel welcoming, and the restaurant had a fun, lively vibe that is great for groups or a special outing. That said, the meat quality did not feel as high end as I was expecting for the price. Overall it was a good experience because of the hospitality and setting, but the food itself fell a little short for me.

We just had an amazing anniversary dinner at Show de Carnes. The food was excellent and we sprung for the wagyu steak special. It came out sizzling on a hot salt block. The steak was out of this world tender and very flavorful! The wait staff was excellent and extremely attentive. Meats came out quickly and were delicious. Table side tequila shots were also a nice bonus. Would definitely come back again!

Absolutely incredible experience! The service from Vilmar and Mateo was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Every cut of meat was perfectly cooked, juicy, and full of flavor — the picanha was melt-in-your-mouth amazing! The salad bar was fresh and beautifully presented, and the sides complemented the meats perfectly. The atmosphere was lively yet elegant, making it a perfect spot for both celebrations and date nights. Highly recommend this place if you want authentic Brazilian steakhouse vibes and top-tier service.

Everything was great, the food, the fact that the espresso martinis were already creamy was a plus. The only opportunity is once the patrons are seated, there should be clear direction. We were brought water and biscuits but no one asked for drink orders or properly told us next steps. We had to waive a buser down to ask. No big deal because overall our visit was wonderful and we would definitely be back.

Great service and yummy food! We brought our 11 month baby for lunch and it was very quiet since they are just starting up. They were so kind and considerate towards her.

Food was classic Italian fair, worth the somewhat-off-the-path location. Atmosphere can get a bit loud without fabrics and other natural materials to soften the noise, but honestly I'm only being a bit nitpicky because everything else - service, food, etc - was excellent!

Get the bisteca florentne and the spaghetti with lobster new favorite restaurant, Best steak in Marin! Steak can feed two or one hungry hombre.

My husband and I went here for our Anniversary last week. At first the service seemed wonderful. We got our Caesar salads and one plate had a hair under the lettuce. They replaced it but was not comped. I think it should have been. Then we asked for a substitution on our steak plate. Was granted the substitution by the kitchen but the head waiter was rude to us when our plate came and the substitution was not there. He acted like we hadn’t asked for it without getting the benefit of the doubt. The rest of the food was good but because of service will not return.

Food, ambience, and service are phenomenal. A must-visit when we're on our way back to the city. Wines are exquisite. Sal is a culinary artist, delivers steaks cooked to perfection.

We found this wonderful Italian restaurant in Sausalito looking for a place to have dinner with family visiting from Europe. We all felt that Gallo Rosso indeed has a very nice European vibe. Service is very personal and attentive. The Atmosphere is excellent. And the food is very good. The charcuterie plate with pickled artichokes was phenomenal. Tiramisu and Cannoli also excellent. The steak was very good, just not perfect. Also the Demi-glacé needs a little bit of work, separated too much. All only minor comments. We all really loved Gallo Rosso. They only opened 2 months ago and will hopefully attract many people.

Went there last night. Had excellent Caesar for 2, good carpaccio(though I prefer it thinner with more capers). I had excellant spaghetti with 1/2 lobster enough for 2 meals. My wife had the great pasta with ragu. Loved it. Then good tiramusu. Several glasses of very reasonably priced wine. Next time steak! All the staff could not have been nicer-especially Mike. Plus loved the atmosphere...you can actually talk. Can't wait to return.

I walk in soberly, visiting my partner’s dad for the first time. I’m a bartender from NYC. The bartender says he will serve me a “half-beer” because I am “swaying in.” My partner orders us shots and he says “not for her” while a woman is falling behind us drunk and he keeps serving her. Awful experience.

Best bar. Worst bartenders. Whoever owns Smittys is asleep. Every time in this place they socialize with the regulars. No wonder this place is always empty. Go to the no name.

Cool chill place to come an enjoy a nice beer or stiff drink. This bar is a bar where locals hangout. If you are looking for a chill place to relax play some pool and unwind from a stressful day this is the place in Sausalito to relax. Walking distance from Main Street in this small chick city.

Neighborhood bar with good vibes. Brunette waitress is nice but the older blonde has an attitude... She seems to only like locals.

Great service with great beers you couldn't ask for much more. Just get yourself down here and find a place to chill and enjoy the bar games and beers.

Such a charming and cozy coffee shop! The staff were incredibly sweet and welcoming. The avocado toast was delicious, and the goat cheese with strawberry toast was just as wonderful. We both tried the bourbon lattes, and they were fantastic. They also offer dairy-free options, which is a big plus. Definitely a spot I’d love to return to!
